You have finally made it to the Underground Hive called “Changeling Village”. You feel hungry after all of Thorax’s puzzles and decide to look for a shop. You go to the nearby shop. Inside the shop, you see a tall sad looking Changeling. She stares at you for a second before speaking.
“Oh great... now we have some dumb dragon in the Hive? If I were still in charge things like this would be taken care of... Are you just going to stand there wasting time or are you gonna buy something?”
You ask who the shopkeeper is. She gives you a look of... annoyance?
“Geeze, you new here or something? I’m am Queen-... former Queen Chrysalis... Ever since we’ve been trapped in this cursed forest my subjects... Gah... Just buy something and leave...”
You walk closer to the shopkeeper. As you step closer her eyes widen with surprise.
“Wait... is that an Element of Harmony I sense? Are you able to use the elements? You better be careful kid, powerful beings like me can sense that kind of stuff. If King Sombra senses it you’ll... What’s your name kid?”
You say your name is Smolder.
“Smolder, huh? Good, I know what name to put on your tombstone now.”
You give Chrysalis a nasty look. She looks almost entertained by this.
“What? It’s true... something as small as you will get crushed eventually. And when you do... heh... I’d do you in myself, but I just don’t care anymore.”
You consider leaving, but you still want something to eat. You tell Chrysalis to stop and just let you buy some food.
You reluctantly give Chrysalis the bits. You eat the Gem Stone... tastes... relatively good. You want to ask a few more questions before you leave. >You ask Chrysalis about Thorax and Pharynx.
“Ugh, those two idiots. They’re the reason I’m no longer Queen. You see, we were imprisoned here after taking the City of Trot from Emperor Incitatus. We all shared the blame for our failure on that day... that was, until THOSE two suggested I may have been the cause of our imprisonment. Traitorous bugs...”
You ask Chrysalis about Nightmare Moon.
“One of the first imprisoned here. She ran away like a coward long ago... If I remember correctly, I was still Queen when she left to Celestia knows where in this forest. Good riddance.”
You ask if there are any Dragons in the forest.
“What, feel lonely without your own filth-ridden kind? Ha... I think there may be one or two here but Dragons as a species aren’t seen as threats, so not many get sent here...”
You don’t know whether to be insulted or happy about this information. Suddenly, a thought crossed your mind. You ask if she knows who Princess Twilight Sparkle is.
“Some of the newer prisoners talk about her... I think those con men brothers or that self-absorbed show pony have some choice words about her. You could also ask... no... that half-baked clone would not say anything of value about her.”
You ask if Chrysalis has heard of ‘The School of Friendship’.
“Nope. Sounds dumb to me, but what do I know? I’m just the dumb Queen that doomed her species... I... Look kid, you bought your stuff, can you get out of my Hive- er... shop. Can you get out of my shop now?”
You ask Chrysalis if you could sell her something.

You leave the shop. As you leave, for but a moment, you thought you saw a Poison Joke Flower giggle.
After nearly avoiding Captain Tempest, you find yourself in front of an abandoned mine shaft. The words “Shop” and “Closed” are next to the entrance. You take a look inside and see a strange Goat creature reading a book. An odd symbol is behind him. He looks up at you and scoffs.
“Be gone Element barer, for I try to rest.
You look back between him and the symbol. You ask about the symbol.
“What? This? The “Ponies Rune”... do they not teach you anything in those Equestrian schools? Perhaps a teacher could tell you about it, for I am busy.”
You ask what he’s busy with. The question annoys him even more.
“Reading a history book. I like to keep up to date with what's going on outside... especially considering nothing can age while in this forest, it can be easy to lose track of time.”
You take a step inside.
“Stop. This is your last warning.”
You take a step back and you say you didn’t want to come into his crummy shop anyways.
“Ha. Childish fool.”
The goat went back to reading. You say another snarky comment and leave- !?
You see something before you leave. You decide to ask the goat one last question to the goat.
“Hm? This picture? It’s of me and... Princess Cozy Glow with Princess Sunset... You-... huh... they were... Nightmare and Sombra took a liking to them and they're not here anymore. That is all you need to know.”
You give a confused look.

As you exit the mines, you come closer to the LUNER CASTLE where Sombra lives... in front of you is a makeshift shop; The words “FLIM & FLAM’S ADDISON ALLY” are plastered on a sign. A post is hung; On the left is a yellow unicorn that is clean-shaven, in the middle is one with a large mustache, and on the right... the pony on the right has been painted over with white paint.
“AH, FLIM COME TAKE A LOOK!”
“I see Flam; I see a NEW COSTUMER!”
“Come, my Dragon friend! Come and take a look around!”
“Don’t like taking a look around? You can PAY us to leave you be!”

You walk over to the ponies with caution. You note they’re wearing modern clothing. You ask them how long they’ve been here.
“I’d say about, ney... if we’ve been keeping track of time, 7... perhaps 8 years.”
“It’s sad I know, but that NO GOOD TWILIGHT SPARKLE AND HER NO GOOD FRIENDS- heh... Feels good knowing one of her friends is trapped here with us.”
You ask what they mean. They glare a smile in your direction.
“Why, Flutter Shy of course! Didn’t you know? Before she became a Bat Pony, she was an Element barrier.”
“Sadly, she was stripped of her Element before she was imprisoned here making her useless to King Sombra...”
“Didn’t she come here at the same time as that show pony Trixie and that green-haired freak?”

You ask about having an Element stripped from one's self.

You pay the bits without hesitation. The two ponies look shocked but smile nonetheless.
