Here I am in my biggest fight for Equis, but let’s stop for a minute and go back to how I got started. This is my story about how I came to be the hero of Equis. Join me on my adventure. “Alright, I got the equips for DBS Bardock.” I say. Hi my name is Tristan Mark. I’m a 20-year-old brony and playing my favorite game 'Xenoverse 2', but enough about me back to the story.
The pq end with Zamasu saying "What is with this power?" telling me I got a Z-rank. I look at my phone as the time reads 10 pm.
“Well, I think I should get off. I need to be awake for the new raid.” As I say that I hear a familiar whooshing sound.
“Hmmmm, I think you’ll be a nice experiment.” I look behind me to see something I never thought possible. Fu standing in my living room.
“Ok I’m seeing a illusion of Fu. I think I need some sleep.” I whisper to myself.
“Oh my friend, I am very real, just ask the Supreme Kai of Time.” Fu states. I sit there slack jaw still trying to wrap my head around dragon ball being real. He sees my Saiyan CAC. I turn to where he’s looking.
“Wait, hold on, what are you doing here?” I wonder out loud. As I see his smile I state, ”Oh no”. I begin to yell but before that happens in an instant I am whisked away, with my family none the wiser.
“Isn’t this exiting!?” Pinkie pie squeaks. But before she has time to finish the ceremony starts. (“Hey, I wasn’t done with my exposition.” Sorry pinkie but the story has to move on. Don’t worry you’ll get more words I promise. ”Okie dokie loki.” Sheesh. oh, right back to the story.)
“Fillies and gentle colts, as mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the summer sun celebration. In just a few moments our town will witness the magic of the sunrise, and celebrate this, the longest day of the year.” Mayor mare states. As this happens the mare in the moon disappears. “… Princess Celestia!” as the curtains open no ones there. Murmurs spread amongst the crowd.
“This can’t be good.” Twilight ominously relays.
“Remain calm every pony, there must be a reasonable explanation.”
“Ooh ooh, is she hiding?” pinkie asks. A purple mist shows up on the stage.
There appears nightmare moon. “oh my beloved subjects, its been so long since I’ve seen you.” Moon quips.
"What did you do to our princess?” Rainbow dah states.
Nightmare just cackles. “Why am I not royal enough for you?” she states.
A flash of light appears amidst the crowd. the crowd stumbles back as screaming is heard. “whoa whoa whoa! Oof.” I fall on the floor after flailing around. My ass sore on the wood. I push myself up feeling both lighter and heavier.
“Hey! Who are you callin’ a mon … key.” I say but before I can say any more words, they die in my throat at what I see. “Wait, Princess Luna? What am I doing here?” I ask no one in particular.
“How do you know that name?” Moon asks with an edge in her tone. That sets off a chain reaction. The crowd now scared by the venom in her tone. This causes me to wince at my mistake.
“Damn it Fu. Why here of all time and places?” I curse. This gets Twilights attention. During my panic nightmare takes a shot at me with her magic.
Twilight noticed this and shouted, "Hey get out of the way, she's to strong for you to fight."
In a split second my new instincts take over and I swat away her magic and counter with a Ki blast. This leaves everyone stunned me included for a couple moments but I quicker recover. “Isn’t it rude to attack someone not fighting?” I joked half-heartedly. As confident as I seem to be I'm still panicking from the exchange. I mean, how often does one get into my situation.
She recovers from her shock and parries the blast. She was fuming by now. Her attack may have been weak but, she was still angered by the fact I even dare to swat away from the attack somehow. “How does thou know magic?! But to also match thy in power?” she seethes.
This fills me with a slight anger unknown to me. Why did she think this highly of herself? “Well, I’m not sure but all I know is that you are a parasite from her highness.” I claim with a little venom.
“A parasite!? Grrrrrrrr." Nightmare hisses. A smile returns to her muzzle. "Hmmmm, what’s thou's name so I may know my enemy?” nightmare asks.
“My name? My name is …” I finally take a look at myself. With a smirk I proudly state “My name is Archoke, and I’m a Saiyan raised on earth.” I fanboy on the inside because I always wanted to say that.
“A Saiyan you say? Hmmmm, this will require more time. I bid you farewell.” Nightmare says as she turns into mist and floats away. (oooooh she knows something) I breath a sigh of relief at the moment she leaves. I turn to look for twilight only to see her gone.
“Hey, how did you so that, who are you, are you a spy?” Rainbow concludes.
“Whoa, slow down there sally.” AJ quips.
“I say darling, I do love that ensemble you’re wearing. It really shows your character.” Rarity interjects.
I don’t get a chance to respond as pinkie comes up and promptly says "Hi I'm Pinkie pie. What's your favorite cake? When's your birthday? Do you like parties? Do you want to be my friend? *gasp* I just realized I have a new party to throw for a 'Welcome to Ponyville' party. Phew, I never thought the author would let me say that."
"What?" is all I manage to stutter out. "Nevermind, it's Pinkie just being Pinkie don't question it." I mutter to myself. At that I remember what episode it is and get in gear. “Uh oh, Twilight!” I loudly whispered. At that I sprint to the library. Upon reaching the library I open the door to see Twilight looking for the ‘elements of harmony : reference guide’. “Hey looking for something?” This gets her attention.
“Oh, it's you. Here help me look.” I scan the shelves for the book a couple of covers away. Right at that moment the rest of the girls barge in. I see as the library scene play, making me smirk. I look around the library for a moment before hearing a chuckle.
They then turn towards me, and rainbow says, “Well we do have the big guy here, if need be.” At that I make a smirk still nervous about my power because I still am nervous about Nightmare, but feel a need to fight her again. Its like my body yearns for for a challenge. "Well this'll be fun." I murmur.
As me and the girls exit the library, I feel a presence deep in the forest. “Hmmmm.” This gathers the girls’ attention.
“Hey big guy, something wrong?” Rainbow asks. That shakes me out of my thoughts.
”Oh uh, yeah why?” I respond.
Twilight chimes in. “You seem distracted, are you sure you’re, ok?”
“Yeah just, it’s weird I’m kind of exited for an actual fight with her.” I state. This triggers a variety of facial expressions from them, ranging from fear to curiosity to even confusion.
As we enter the forest the one to break the silence is Twilight. “Has any pony been in the Everfree before?”
“Nopony comes since the everfree is unnatural the plants grow on their own.” AJ responds.
“The weather moves on its own, and the animals take care of themselves.” Rainbow and Fluttershy add.
“Sounds like home to me, I don’t see the big deal.” I interject.
The girls give me a bewildered look. “Wow dude, that’s weird.” Rainbow responds.
“Hi, I’m Archoke, and I’m not judging you.” I joke. After a few seconds I try to stifle a chuckle, while pinkie laughs. “Oh, TFS where would I be without your humor.” I speak.
“Probably not as cheerful.” Pinkie interjects. Her knowing about my reference brings a confused look to my face. Knowing that trying to figure it out would be pointless, shrugging is all I respond with.
After a way of walking, I sense a weird energy below us. By the time I realized what was about to happen it was to late. The ground breaks around us. During this Rainbow and Fluttershy dive in to save the others. At my trouble I will my power or any power to surface, hoping for an answer. I start to feel a warmth inside me. I open my eyes after a minute of waiting to impact the ground. What I see is me floating 15 feet above the ground. I’m shocked to see this but shake it off as I freak out in my head. ‘What!? No way, yeah, I’m flying!’ I look down to see the girls wondering where I am. I shakily float down to them. “Hey, did I miss something?” I inquired. They look at me in complete shock.
The first on to break their shock is Rainbow. “Dude, you can fly!?” she asks excitedly.
“Well, I am a Saiyan.” I state feeling a little pride surfacing.
“Awesome, a new flying buddy.” Rainbow exclaims.
“Hey, save the world first then party, ok?” I inform. The girls nod their heads. After a few meters, rainbow was recalling the event of saving the others. This continued for several minutes.
We were walking for a couple minutes. I noticed a shift in the air. At that moment we hear a growl and soon we see a manticore. “Oh no a manticore we have to get around it.” Twilight announces.
“Take that you ruffian” Rarity states as she kicks the manticore. The manticore retaliates by taking a swipe at her head. “No, my mane!” Rarity replies as she scurries back.
Applejack takes her turn by bull riding the beast. “Yeehaw, ride’em cow pony.” She proceeds to get bucked off. Right then rainbow seizes the attack of opportunity as she takes to the sky to kick the beast in the maw. i began to wonder if the manticore would really be this aggressive in a normal situation.
“girls... Girls... GIRLS” Fluttershy tries to tell the girls.
I take notice of her attempts and decide to help even a if a small bit. I proceed to shout, “Hey, Fluttershy has something to say”. I gesture for her to speak up.
“Oh my, thank you, ahem I think something is wrong with the poor guy.” She infers.
“Little guy?” rainbow ponders.
“Eyup” I interject.
“Oh, you poor baby, your just hurt aren’t you.” Fluttershy coos. As she sees his paw, she proceeds to pull out the thorn that was there. A roar ensues and the manticore jumps atop Fluttershy and licks her.
As we pulled away from the manticore cuddles, as Fluttershy put it, we walked a mile just discussing how I can do what I can do. “So Archoke, how are you able to use magic and fly?” Twilight asks me.
“Oh well you see, it’s not magic it’s something else. It’s called Ki, a life energy if you will. Every living being can use Ki, but I’m just a novice at using it so it'll be a bit hard to explain, but don’t worry I’ll answer any questions later.” I respond. This results in Twilight pouting at the aspect of not learning something new. Which causes me to chuckle.
“Wait, anypony can use it? That seems dangerous don't ya think.” AJ tacks on. The girls look at me inquisitively.
“Well, it does require a strong body as well as a strong spirit, as does training. But Saiyans are known to break their limits so I assume that I would learn faster.” I inform. This seems to satisfy the girls questions for the moment.
“That’s just it, what is a Saiyan? Are they a new species on Equis?” Twilight asks.
“Well, Saiyans are a warrior race. They live for a challenge. The prospect of being strong is everything to them. This also means that they are cruel and vicious as a product of their environment. Only two of us are an exception, myself and Kakarot or Son Goku for many.” I inform.
“Wait, why does he have two names?” Rainbow asks.
“Ahhhh, already catching on. Kakarot is his saiyan name, Goku is his earth name. He was raised by a kind old man called Son Gohan, his grandpa since he was a few months.” I answer.
"Hang on, was? What do you mean was? And what about the rest of the Saiyan's, what happened to them?” Twilight asks a little unsure if the answer is a good one.
I unintentionally look solemnly at the stars knowing the story, waiting a moment to hide any emotion know the story is now reality. “That’s a story for later. Its not for the weak of heart, as that story is quite dark.” I regretfully inform. That answer yields a change in the mood. The girls’ opinions of me seems to change quite a bit to sympathetic at that information. The walk seems to turn solemn for the time.
A few more minutes of walking pass. “Oh, my eyes need a rest from all this icky muck.” Rarity wined. This is when the forest darkens as if to respond. “I didn’t mean that literally.” she huffed.
“This is terrible, there could be anything in this darkness.” Twilight warned. As the comment was mentioned the trees warped to shadowed faces of anger. This garners a round of screams from most of the girls. I look onwards with a smirk, knowing what’s next.
“I wouldn’t worry about this little darkness; this is just a setback. Just calm down and think about the end goal.” I say as I begin to levitate to meditate trying to figure out how this power worked; to see a technique.
3rd pov
As the girls heard Archoke’s words twilight tried to call out to him, they don’t receive a response. The only sound they heard was a weird sound. they decided to look back at their friend, and what followed was something that was the most shocking thing. They saw a faint white fire appearing on their saiyan friend. The fire seemed to have a red glow inside the center. The fire gave a feint light to see each other. They had questions but notice that he doesn’t seem to even notice that it even occurring. The face he’s making is one that brings serenity to even troubled souls. This gives Pinkie an idea. She starts to giggle at the trees. This is met with confusion from the others. “Pinkie what are you doing? Are you crazy? Get away from there.” Twilight pleaded.
“When I was a little filly and the sun was going down”
“Tell me she’s not”
“The darkness and shadows, they would always make me frown.”
“She is”
“I’d hide under my pillow, from what I thought I saw.
But GrannyPie said that wasn’t the way to deal with fears at all.”
“Then what is?”
“She said Pinkie, you gotta stand up tall! Learn to face your fears!
You’ll see that they can’t hurt you. Just laugh and make them disappear!
Ha! Ha! Ha!”
*gasp*
“So, giggle at the ghostly!
Guffaw at the grossly
Crack up at the creepy
Woop it at the weepy
Chortle at the kooky
Snortle at the spooky
And tell that big dumb scary face to take a hike and leave you alone and if he thinks he can scare you then he’s got another thing coming
And the very idea of such a thing just makes you wanna...
Hahahaha... heh...
Laaaaaaaaaaaugh!”
The girls fall around each other laughing. The experience bringing them closer as friends.
1st pov
As I hear the ending verse of the song I return to the girls. “So, it seems you figured it out, huh?” I inquire turning of my aura. The sudden input of my voice made them jump to their hooves quickly, almost comedically. The head turns I saw were enough to cause whiplash.
“What do you mean? Did you know something? What was that aura?” Twilight asks a bit frantic. I back up at the interrogation.
“Calm down there Twi.” Applejack interjects. “But what was that light there Archoke?” she adds.
At the mood shift I begin to chuckle a bit. This made the girls look at me in complete confusion. “What’s so funny there, big guy?” Rainbow irritatedly asks.
“W-well it’s funny how fast the mood shifted is all. And to the other questions in order are I felt no harm coming so I decided to meditate to figure out somethings. The aura you were talking about was my ki. It was part of the things I wanted to figure out.“ I answer.
“But what is ki? You treat it like magic, but it feels like something else.” Twilight asks frantically.
“Well how about later and we can all sit down and ask some questions about each other. That seems fair, right?” I answer. The answer was enough for each of the girls to calm down.
The walk continued on, as time passed, we all noticed a raging river. “Hmmmm, lets follow to see if there’s a bridge.” I suggest knowing what’s up ahead.
We did as I suggested and soon, we heard crying. We eventually came across a weeping serpent. Knowing what takes place here I opt to not interact going back to my meditation. I was using the time to prep a technique to help in an inevitable fight.
3rd pov
The girls seemed to not notice their saiyan friend behind them as they walk over to the somber serpent. “Oh, this is just awful, just so dreadful. How completely cruel.” The serpent wailed. Causing the river to rage harder.
“Excuse me sir, what’s the matter?” Twilight asked.
“Oh, it’s just too horrible. My moustache had been torn off by this horrid purple mist. It’s horrible I say.” The serpent whined.
“That’s all?” Rainbow complained.
"That's what all the fuss is about?" AJ added.
“Why of course it is darling, there’s no need to be rude. Why just look at these luminescent scales, and the expertly cropped mane. The poor dear had his coiffure ruined. It must have dazzling to see darling. I simply cannot let this crime go unfixed.” Rarity stated.
Rarity simply walked up and took one of the scales off of the serpent. “Ouch, that hurt.” He complained. What followed was Rarity cut off her tail, then 'fixed' his moustache.
“There, much better.” Rarity said satisfied.
“Rarity, your tail.” Twilight sadly stated.
“Oh, no worries darling short tails are in season. Besides it'll grow back.” Rarity deflected.
1st pov
As I get back from my meditation, I quickly notice the river has calmed down. “Well, this might go better than I thought.” I chuckle. I turn to see the girls have calmed the serpent down. Walking over to them I interrupt their cheers. “It seems like I’m just muscle at the moment.” I interrupt.
“What the hay? How do you keep disappearing dude?” Rainbow asks annoyed.
“Just keep an eye out, that and I didn’t want to interrupt your progress.” I answer. “Well, time we should get across, don’t you think so?” I inquire. At that I fly across while the serpent named Steve carried them across.
3rd pov
“Hmmmm, it seems that this won’t do. I’ll send in another variable to see if something changes.” A shadow figure said vanishing in a purple fog. At the same time two figures appears, one with long spiky hair, the other tall, bald, and bulky.
“Wait where’s Kakarot? Where am I?” the shorter of the two figures said. After the momentary confusion a device on his ear rapidly beep ahead of him. The noise piques their curiosity and wills them to follow.
“Hmmph. Who cares there’s a strong power level further in this forest. Let’s just move on we’ll meet Prince Vegeta later. Let’s check it out.” The taller one said. At that they fly off to find the rogue power.
After a bit of walking with the group I feel a weaker power level approaching. “That’s strange, why would something be closing in on us this quick?” I murmur but not quietly enough.
“What up big guy, something wrong?” Rainbow asks.
“Yeah Archie, what’s wrong?” Pinkie adds.
As the exchange happens a stray blast hit near us, causing the girls to shriek in fear. “Ha ha ha, it seems you missed those weaklings Raditz.” A new voice shouted amused.
“Quiet Nappa, besides that was a warning shot.” ‘Raditz’ shouted back.
While the two Saiyans shouted about without a care in the world I warned the girls to get back, “Careful girls, these two are those who shouldn’t be underestimated.” “Hey, if two are done bickering I’d like it if you didn’t scare my friends like that.” I yelled at the two.
“Raditz, take care of the fodder.” Nappa ordered.
“Fine. Here weakling I’ll fight you. Haaaaa!!!” Raditz yelled as he dashed towards me intent on harming the group.
“Oh no you don’t. Kyaaaaa!!!” I retort barreling through him expecting a stronger opponent. Noticing at how easy it was to ‘defeat’ Raditz I smile sheepishly. “Oops, eh heh heh heh.” I chuckle at my opponent’s unfortunate luck.
Raditz had swirling eyes from how hard he was hit. This simple display of power caught Nappa off guard. He saw the power level I had displayed on the scouter briefly was 18,000 before exploding. This was enough to slightly shake him up. “W-What!? How strong are you?” Nappa cautiously pondered. "N-No matter you will fall to the great Nappa." He proudly states as he stepped up to try his luck against me.
“Well Nappa, I suggest you stand down, there’s no reason to fight. Go and take this saiyan and leave.” I suggest flaring my aura to scare Nappa.
The wind that this causes to kick up was a little alarming to the girls but still awe-inspiring more so for Twilight. “This is ki? This is incredible. You can feel the power in the air.” Twilight comments.
The suggestion to Nappa sounded more like a demand and proceeded to infuriate him and launch himself at me. “I’m an elite warrior this can’t be my happening.” He raged. His sloppy rush was quickly done with after grabbing his arm to pull him towards me and swiftly but softly chopping his neck.
At that moment Raditz wake up to see Nappa dealt with as I come out the victor and proceeds to cower in place. “Hey, keep an eye on Nappa. I’ll come back with a deal that you both might like or you can come find me, and don’t worry it’s about getting stronger.” I offer. The only response I get is a shaky nod.
The girls don’t seem all onboard with my offer. “Are you sure that’s a good idea sugercube?” Applejack inquires.
I shoot a grin. “Don’t worry if there’s one thing a saiyan can’t resist, it’s getting stronger.” I respond. “Well, lets get going, I think we’re getting close.”

“This is great for my research, there’s so much data.” Fu states gleefully. “Let’s see what happens next.”
1st pov
After walking for what seemed like a while, we finally reached the chasm before the castle of the two sisters. With each step closer knowing what’s up ahead instead of feeling scared, I instead feel excited. ‘What a weird feeling. It’s like I crave to have this fight.’ I think.
During my monologue Twilight walks towards the cliff. As she reaches the edge, it gives away causing here to scream before Rainbow pulls her back. “Wow, what’s with you falling off cliffs today?” Rainbow jokes. This receives a snicker from Pinkie and me.
“The bridge seems to be out. Any other method?” I ask.
“Don’t worry big guy, I got this. Just hang on tight.” Rainbow answered as she flew across.
3rd pov
As Rainbow reach the other side with rope, she spots the stake, hooking the bridge up. “There we go now to head back.” She spoke.
“Rainbow dash.” a voice spoke.
The sudden voice caused dash to look around. “Who’s out there, show yourself.” Rainbow shouts.
A figure comes out of the darkness along with two others. The first seemed to be the original voice. “Hello there, Rainbow dash. We’ve been looking for you.” The mare said.
“Why, have you heard of me?” Rainbow brags.
“Yeah, we want you for the Shadow Bolts. We’re the best fliers this side of the everfree.” The shadow bolt leader said.
“Oh sweet, let me just tie this off then we can-“ Rainbow says but gets interrupted.
“No, just leave the monkey and the others to join us.” The shadow bolt interrupts.
On the other side of the chasm the girls were getting worried. Twilight being the most worried. “Rainbow don’t listen to them.” Twilight yells.
Back at Rainbow, the shadow bolt noticed this and like magic her goggles glowed yellow, causing the fog to thicken. “Well, what’ll it be, us or them?” The mare asks smugly thinking she won.
“Wow, thanks. For the offer I mean, but I’ll have to decline. Sorry.” Rainbow states as she ties off the rope bridge. The shadow bolts just hiss and disappear in a dark purple mist.
1st pov
My attention is caught by Rainbow flying back. “I’d never leave a friend hanging.” She admits proudly.
“Never doubted you for a sec there Rainbow.” I praise. Seeing everyone else walk across the bridge I opt for flight to save time. As we arrive, I start to feel a little rush at the thought of a challenge forcing a smile on my face. “This is a Saiyan’s pride, eh? Well let’s see where this fight leads to.” I think out loud. All I gain is confused looks at my comment.
As we enter the castle, I start to feel for any strong energy signatures and sow a grim but excited face. The girls notice my expression. “Hey Archie, what’s wrong?” Pinkie asked.
I notice their worry, causing me to speak out. “It’s nothing just a little excited about the earlier fight. Besides, I’m just worried my technique won’t be used.” I speak while looking at the castle. The show didn’t do it justice, it’s so much better than I ever could have imagined. As I’m distracted by the area, their faces show clear concern at my dismissal.
“Well, if’n you’re sure there sugercube.” Applejack hesitantly said. Her face showing that she doesn’t believe me. After a moment or two she takes in the ruins. “This place sure is a sight to behold.” She adds. At the comment, the girls look at the ruins as well.
As we journey closer to destination, I found the girls discussing about the saiyans. “Are we sure we should let Archoke handle those two? I trust him but I don’t trust the other two.” Applejack cautiously asked.
“Well Archie were able to take care of them easily, so I don’t see anything wrong with him teaching them.” Pinkie stated. “Besides, that means more friends for a party.”
The comment makes me chuckle from the naïve nature it posed. As I cackled, this yields an eyebrow raise from AJ. “Anythin’ ta share Archoke?” she asks.
“W-well, if know what a party entails, the amount of food needed would probably more than you could make.” I respond. At the end, I laugh harder.
“Well how much would it take for three?” Pinkie inquires.
“A small hill worth or so. For just us three.” I reply.
After a moment the girls start laughing. “Y-Yeah right, I don’t believe that’s true. Right?” Rainbow asks. The only response she sees is a straight face. “Wait, you’re serious?” she adds. The girls proceed to give an incredulous look at me.
“Well, that’s at minimum. Anyway, it looks like we’re closing on the end.” I inform. As I said that I felt a slight rise in power from a room. I feel a slight draw to the room. “Hey, what’s in here?” I ask no one in particular as I enter the room.
The girls followed my in the room noticing the pedestal Twilight exclaimed, “The elements these are it.” She quickly ran over to the pedestal. The prompted the fliers to grab the stones. We each held two each.
“Wow. They seem no bigger than the dragon balls at first glance.” I think to myself. We place the orbs down on the floor.
“So, these are the elements? They don’t seem that impressive.” Rainbow thinks out loud.
“I don’t know, I feel a slight power in them.” I inform. I move closer and feel a pressure from them rather than a power.
“Well, I think we should give Twi some space. Come on Everypony.” AJ suggests. The girls begin to leave while stay in the room.
“I think I’ll stay for a little.” I state. The girls give me a look but see no harm in me doing so. Twilight begins to cast spell after spell on the orbs while I meditated.
A couple minutes later
I was thinking when a sudden power spike caused me to snap to attention. I look around only to see a vortex swirling and Twilight getting sucked in. I quickly dash in after her and hear a scream from Twilight followed by the others yelling hang on.

I land on the ground to see Twilight getting up from the ground not being used to teleportation. “Hang on, I’ll help.” I offer as I help pick her up.
As she was standing, we heard a dark cackle from the left. We look and see nightmare moon standing there. “Well, it seems like the saiyan has come to play. Why not join me, I can offer power and food as my soldier.” She inquires.
The response I give is a scowl. “Now why would I join you? The saiyans hated Freiza and to me you feel very similar to him.” I respond.
“Who is this Freiza character you talk about, saiyan?” Nightmare inquires. Her face twisting to confusion. “Thou does mean Lord Chilled, yes.” She asks a bit forceful.
“Either way, you will be stopped. Now then, get ready! Haaaaaaaaaaa!” I shout. At my shout my aura flares to life like a raging fire as I power up to my max. Feeling my power in the air the two mares take a step back but with different reactions. Twilight has an expression of awe at witnessing what she thinks is my max power, while nightmare has a look of shock.
“How much power do you have? How can a monkey come this close to a goddess as I?” Nightmare moon asks in shock. She regains her composure after a second. “No matter, I am still more powerful. I will not be defeated!” she adds as she launches at me.
At seeing her movement, I launch at her and dissipate my aura as I clash with her. It showed to be an equal clash between me and her. This erupts into a fight fit for a saiyan. We each parry each other’s attacks. Nightmare seems to fight like an arcrosian, while mine is sloppy it’s like the style the Namekian demon clan use. I keep her on the defensive with constant aggression. We only get glancing blows on each other. At the spot of an opening, I strike her gut making her gasp in pain, but quickly responds with a punch of her own knocking me back. “Seems the ape is winded. Does thou need a break.” Nightmare taunts.
That only fueled my anger and need to win. It’s like my body yearns for the battle and the victory. “Hmph, overconfidence will get you nowhere. That was only the warm-up. Now then, get ready for a saiyans might!” I shout out as my aura flares even more than the last time as it looks more like an inferno ready to consume any to come close. With my shout being my battle cry, we shoot back at each other faster than before seeming like blurs before but now almost completely unseeable due to my aura trail. I notice my fighting seems to get better seeing as I got used to my power and new body. The clash that ensues makes the previous one look like it was at a crawl. The blows now causing sonic booms when colliding with the other. The clash ends when our fists collide with the opposing fist making a shockwave that shakes the castle. We try to overpower the other, locked in a struggle.
Twilight 1st pov
I look on to the fight and see that Archoke is somehow evenly matched with Nightmare moon. One can feel the power the two radiate in the air, it’s enough to crush somepony. “Eep.” I squeak out at hearing the last blow crack in the air.
“What the hay is going on, they both shot off at each other so fast. This fight is j-just unreal.” I hear rainbow shout. I look to see the girls all there.
“Well duh. Archie is a saiyan and he’s gonna win. Saiyans are known for combat and evolving in the middle of one.” Pinkie informs us. We all look at Pinkie in shock.
I look back at the fight and see the two separated.
Archoke 1st pov
“Hyaaaaa” both Nightmare and I yell as we separate from the clash.
“Hehehehe, it looks like I’m better than you thought. Maybe the goddess isn’t all that.” I say in pride.
I look at Nightmare as she fumes. “Insolent welp, I am the strongest here. I am a goddess how are you so powerful, it should be I who is powerful.” Nightmare screams. At the end I notice a dark aura surround her. As the aura consumes her, I see and hear something familiar. I see her eyes glow red and hear her chuckle darkly. I promptly hear the girls gasp and yell “hurry and get the elements!”
A couple seconds pass and before I have time to react my entire body is racked with pain as I collapse to a knee. I cough some blood at the and my eyes become semi-pupilless as I collapse.
3rd pov
The girls yell out to me scared for their friend. “Well, seems the simian is not that powerful. Hahahaha! Now for you girls to go after your friend.” Nightmare taunts. The girls huddle around each other in fear.
As nightmare slowly walks over to the girls, Twilight seems to have a small but growing courage in her heart from my selfless will to fight for others and bravery. “Y-you think this will be the end? W-well you you’re wrong. Archoke fought you to save this world, that wasn’t even his home, but he still fought to protect us. I think I speak for everypony here when I say we would proudly call him my friend!” Twilight states with a determination in her voice. As the girls seem to find courage in her words they agree.
“Darntootin’.”
“Of course darling.”
“Absoposilutely!”
“Y-Yeah.”
“No way I’d abandon the big guy now!”
That seems to only fuel nightmares anger more. “Foals, I have defeated your champion why still follow him! No matter I’ll still rule the night, forever.” Nightmare states triumphantly. She resumes her malicious stroll towards the girls, but the girls remain steadfast but tremble only a little. As she spouts on about her “victory” the entire room is silenced by a single voice.
“Wait! I’m not finished yet!” the familiar voice yelled. The voice bringing hope to the girls, while shocking Nightmare. All eyes look to see the saiyan warrior slowly standing up while shaking a little.
“How art thou standing!? I hit you hard enough to kill.” Nightmare yells with slight panic.
1st pov Archoke
I see the girls shaking slightly and a look of fear over the position of nightmare. It gets my blood boiling and hurts my pride just as much. “This is a saiyans pride and your downfall. But now there’s something I’ve been trying to figure out. Honestly, I didn’t think I would have to use it until I was sure it would work.” I explain.
“Hold on, what art thou talking about welp?” Nightmare asks with venom. The girls look at me confused.
“Well, time to test my theory.” I comment. The rest of the room is confused by my words but, look on in bewilderment at my next action. “Haaaaaaaaaaa!!!” I yell drawing more power out. My body starts to have a red outline and glow. The girls become shocked at my yell continues on for quite a while. I immediately stop satisfied at my display.
The girls look at my face and see a courageous spirit and strong will to protect them. “Wow, lungs on him.” I hear rainbow comment. I chuckle a little but don a face of hope.
“Now I’ll show you the Kaio-ken!” I yell for all to hear. The rooms inhabitants show complete bewilderment at my appearance as a red spiky aura envelope me. “Huh, I guess it was worth the risk after all.” I say gladly but surprised.
“What was that light show?! What is the meaning of this?!” Nightmare screams.
“This is the Kaio-ken. I learned of it a long time ago. It’s basically an energy multiplier, this version doubles my strength, speed, and senses. And all the other traits I use in a fight.” I explain.
Everyone shows surprise at my declaration. “Wait doubles his speed?! I have got to know. With it I could easily become a Wonderbolt!” I hear rainbow shout.
Nightmare has a different reaction. ”D-double!? Impossible! There’s no way thou could have gotten that strong.”
I grin and warn, “Here it comes.” And just like a certain spiky haired protagonist I shoot off disappearing from sight leaving only the sound of flickering as I move around the room to get use to this new speed. The others look for me with not much success. “Over here.” I declare in my starting spot. The eyes of everyone look at me in complete shock as my words seem to still ring in their heads. “I guess I’ll kick it up more! Haaaaaaaaaaa!!!” I yell even louder. As my grows, the others feel like the whole forest is shaking. One thought crosses all their minds unknowingly, “It’s like the forest fears his power.” “Haaaaaaaaaaa!!!” I scream drawing even more power.
“His power is skyrocketing it’s extraordinary! It’s triple, quadruple, no it’s ...” Nightmare announces in a state of shock.
“TIMES TEN!!!” I scream. The room turns red from my power and aura. “KAIO-KEN TIMES TEN!!!” I continue. “Hurraaaaaa!!!” I yell out as a battle cry as I rocket over to Nightmare and nail her cleanly in the snout. She slides back in pain.
“N-no way.” Applejack says incredulously.
“He’s s-so fast.” Rainbow adds.
Nightmare rockets back at me using her full power and throws a punch aimed for my face. She immediately sees me parry it with ease and strike her in the gut and spits a little blood at my counter. “Hraaaaaa!” I yell. “It doesn’t matter how far you go, goddess or not it doesn’t stand a chance against what I am now.” I declare with complete confidence. At that I launch into a flurry of blows aimed at very damaging areas before kicking her up in the air. “I only have one chance at this, so I’ll give it all I’ve got. You girls figure it out yet? I’m not the one that should finish her.” I comment as I cup my hands in front of me.
“I think I have Archoke. Thank you for buying time for us.” I hear Twilight say as the girls start to receive the elements.
Nightmare recovers during the exchange long enough to see me in a pose signifying the end of the fight. “Fool! I won’t be defeated. Prepare to go to Tartarus.” She screams in response. I see her horn light up with intensity as well as the dark power.
“Night...”
“KA... ME... “
“Blaster”
“HA... ME...”
“FIRE!”
“HAAAAAAAA!”
The blasts collided only for mine to completely barrel through hers. “What?!” at that moment Nightmare notices a rainbow coming towards her. “Noooooooo” was the only thing she could shout before being consumed by both beams.
I cut off my beam and give a hearty laugh at the victory we’ve gotten as the last thing I see was the girls landing before black out. The last thing I hear is “Archoke!” before a thud and darkness surround my vision.

during the defeat of Nightmare moon
Two figures are seen a tall bipedal being with long white hair and red skin along with pointed ears, and a short biped having a white mohawk and purple skin bearing pointed ears. The two were looking off to the sky. “Supreme Kai, do you feel that.” The tall figure asked.
“Yes I have Kibito. Let’s resume watching later, for now we must focus on that foul wizard, Babidi.” The now identified Supreme Kai prompted. He looked back at a spiked head of hair.
Kibito stood tall heeding the word of the supreme kai. “Of course, Supreme kai.” Kibito answered.
The girls woke up after the elements cleansed Luna of her darkness, pausing to gather their thoughts after the battle had taken place. Rainbow Dash is the first to break the silence. “That... was... AWESOME!” she shouts with no shortage of enthusiasm. She shot up to her hooves to recount the events. “Archoke was like ‘Stop! Raaaaa!’ and Nightmare was like ‘Nooooo!’ ... It was so awesome!”
All the girls seem to share this notion as they all cheer, until they all hear a chuckle, reminding them of the saiyan’s condition. All eyes were on their saiyan companion only to see him collapse. “Archoke!” all the girls screamed. One by one, the girls rushed to his side, noticing some bruises forming, as the state of the girls ranged from panic to sadness. The worried state of the girls momentarily ends when Twilight notices the sun rising up. The girls seemed to register the new light source.
“Hello my student. Why so panicked among your friends?” a motherly and regal voice asks. The light shone upon a new being in the room. She was 6’ 4” with white fur, had wing and a horn, and wore a regal dress. Noticing who was talking the girls except one knelt down to show respect. That one was Twilight the student of the princess.
“P-princess Celestia!” she exclaims not expecting her. As she takes notice she also knelt down, before getting back up and showing a solemn expression at her saiyan friend. At first the solar princess was just slightly hesitant seeing the saiyan, only from fear of a previous ‘experience’. But upon further inspection of her student’s worry for her companion’s health, she seemed to gain a small insight as to the lone saiyan’s motivations.
“Ahhhh. Now I see. You want to see your friend no longer in pain.” Celestia comments with a smile. After a little thinking, her horn glowing with a yellow aura, she cast a low-level healing spell on the saiyan, so he could recover faster. She turned to face Twilight. “It also seems like you and your friends recovered the elements and discovered a new ally. I only wish another would embrace friendship like you did.” She states as she strolls to the other alicorn. The other alicorn is no bigger than a regular pony. She held none of the animosity the Nightmare held as well. “Hello sister.” She calmly greets.
“Wait sister!?” all the girls shout in shock. This revelation also made twilight think back to the familiarity the saiyan held about Luna and Nightmare moon. Mainly how he knew Luna was Nightmare moon were the same entity.
“Oh sister, I’m so sorry. Please forgive me.” The lunar diarch sincerely apologizes. The young Lunar princess hugged her sister as if she would disappear. At the display, the smaller alicorn held tears in her eyes and was shaking.
Before anything else could occur, the room heard a chuckle. The room looked around to see only the saiyan sitting upright with an amused smirk adorning his face. Seeing their friend alright the girls rush him and hug him.
1st pov Archoke
After coming to the first thing, I noticed was Princess Celestia’s voice talking about her sister. I proceeded to sit up to get a better understanding of what’s happening. Looking around, it’s clear that everyone is unaware of my presence. Seeing an opportunity, I stay quiet until someone notices. Looking at the display of Luna, I attempt and fail to suppress my chuckle before being glomped by the mares.
“Archoke, you’re alright! We were so worried.” Twilight chastised. At realizing what she said she blushed from embarrassment. The blush only fueled my amusement.
“Hey big guy, that fight was so awesome. And that kaio-whatever was cool.” Rainbow interjected. The solar princess had curious reaction about hearing of a fight, while I had a proud smile. Celestia looked at me in deep thought as if an idea were forming.
“So saiyan, you defended these girls in the night? Why would you defend a planet not your own?” Celestia questioned. Her posture remained regal as to not give away her motive behind the question.
“Well your highness, I think the better question is ‘why not?’, I mean this world and it’s inhabitants seem like genuine folk. As I have gathered, the saiyans were here and let’s say I’m not like most saiyans.” I respond. Celestia looks over my features for any deceit, only to find genuine care at least for the girls.
My response satisfies Celestia, telling from her small smile. “Very well. I hope to see more of you Sir Archoke.” At that I move to get up with the girls still latched on shocking the room at how much ease I show at the task. Seeing their shock, I show a smirk from amusement.
At remembering my promise to the saiyans, I try to pick up their ki to find them outside the room. “Move you low class saiyan. I’m here for that training so I can prove that an elite warrior such as myself will always be better than low class scum.” Nappa said as he and Raditz entered the room.
This got the girls to look angry to annoyed. Before any of them can say anything to provoke them I calmly retort, “Well, this low-class scum barely tried in the fight that you easily lost. Beside it’s time for us to go, I could use a party.” My words caught pinkies ears causing her to gasp.
“That’s a really great idea Archie. Now we can throw a ‘Welcome to Ponyville’ party!” Pinkie adds. When she said those ‘magic’ words, the surrounding scene changes to Ponyville. The two saiyans panicked at the sudden change while I just chuckle at their confused looks. Raditz seemed to only remain confused, while Nappa gains a scowl showing his anger.
The party starts with Luna receiving a crown of flowers. Soon after the food comes out and the saiyan warriors proceed to almost literally inhaling the banquette. The look pointed at the saiyans were of shock. The girls remembering my earlier statement about saiyan appetites look at me seeing me smirk then laugh. Out of the corner of my vision I see Luna looking at me while away from the party. “Hmmm, I guess she wants answers. Best to get this over with.” I think aloud with the girls hearing me, including Celestia. I walk over to Luna, seeing the others gather around. “Well, anything anyone wants to learn?” I inquire.
This question prompted Luna to ask the most glaring question, “When I was the Nightmare, how did you know who I was?” she asked confused. The question made the others look at me with equally confused looks while Celestia looked at me as if I knew more than I should. The question while expected, still caught me off guard as I raise my eyebrows. My reaction didn’t go unnoticed by the others and looked at me the same as Celestia. Celestia only raised an eyebrow while the girls show clear confusion.
The next action I took was a sigh before saying, “I should have known that was coming. Not here, not with so many ears.” In a serious tone that took them all aback unexpectedly. This told Celestia that what I had to say was highly secret and was a sign I trusted them enough to not lie to them. “After the party I’ll be waiting in the library for that question specifically. Now any other questions? Or should we wait until the library for a questionnaire?” I offer. The unanimous reaction from the group was to wait for the library. “Well then, that food might be gone after Raditz and Nappa went there, but I might as well eat what’s left.” I add walking over to the food.
The reaction from the mares were to hilariously fall down with hooves twitching in the air. The first of them to recover was a frantic Twilight. “How can he be so nonchalant after being this serious?!” She asked no one in particular. But after realizing that she might have to go back to Canterlot, she frowns at the thought of leaving new friends.
Celestia taking notice of her student ask a simple question. “What’s the matter my student? Are you not happy that you completed your quest. You can come back to Canterlot and continue your studies.” She informs.
The state of Twilight was sincere sadness. “Well Princess, that’s just it. Just when I learned how wonderful friendship can be, I have to leave them.” Twilight answers. She looks over her friends stopping when she notices her saiyan friend laughing at Pinkie Pie’s antics only for him to look back at Twilight. She noticed him walking over to her and the Princess.
1st pov Archoke
When I arrive at Twilights side along with the girls. I hear Celestia clear her throat. “Spike, take a note. I, Princess Celestia, decree that the unicorn Twilight Sparkle shall take on a new mission for Equestria. She must continue to study the magic of friendship. She must report to me her findings from her new home in Ponyville.” She proclaims. The girls rushing to her, hugging her in a tight grip, as I stroll to her side giving her a warm smile. “Also, that the warrior, Archoke, is to be the guardian of the bearers of the Elements of Harmony, as well as Equis.” She adds. The last one caught me off guard, as I wasn’t the only one. I heard gasp from the girls, but more from joy. Having had time to process what happened my thoughts were of how I might never see my family again, but the proclamation derailed my thoughts entirely. It didn’t show past my current shock as it provided a mask that I needed.
“Oh my gosh Archie, you get to stay. This is going to be so much fun!” Pinkie exclaims. The girls swarm me as to congratulate me.
The noticeable reaction everyone saw was a small smile, as my thoughts came to one idea. “Maybe this won’t be so bad. I can find a new family here.” I said mumbling the last part to not show my sorrow but also warmth in my words.
Time: noon
As I noticed the party slowing down, I decided now would be a suitable time to go to the library to gather my thoughts for the questions I will have to answer. After reaching the library, I settled in and start to think about my situation sitting on the couch. “Okay it seems like MLP and Dragon ball are real and so are displaced. It seems Fimfic was a collection of actual peoples experience as well, since I’m here. Well, good thing I read a lot of those, but instead of the merchant I got an obsessed scientist for my catalyst, crapbaskets.” I say to no one.
That’s when my mind wanders back to the thought of seeing my family, flashing to memories of that life. Not knowing whether or not I could see them again, it’s then I felt something wet on my cheek. I check to see what it was, but I knew, it was a tear. I wipe it away thinking, ‘now isn’t the time’ I think in a chastising way.
My thoughts went back to business. “Well, it would probably be best to tell the whole truth as I’m not that good at lying. It would be more confusing later on. But for now, let’s see where life can take us.” I think aloud. Minutes pass as I refine my thoughts. At the end of my musings, I see the eight mares and dragon I thought as fiction until a day ago enter the library. They all settle down in the library so the conversation could start. “Well my friends, what questions do you have that I can answer?” I ask.
My little question caught the attention of the Princesses, but only one caught a small detail. The one to catch the detail was Fluttershy. “Oh dear, is something wrong Archoke? You were crying, weren’t you?” she asked softly.
The question caught everyone by surprise none more than me. The looks soon turn to ones of worry as all eyes turn to me. “W-What do you mean there Fluttershy? I-I’m fine. Just thinking about the past.” I answered. The only one to not fully believe me was Celestia. The look I receive from her tells me that she knows that’s not the entire truth. “But back to the other. Any questions?” I add.
The only one to ask a question was the prismatic mare. “Can you train me so I can learn that Kaio-whatever?” Rainbow asked with pure enthusiasm.
This little request caught the girls off guard. I smile knowing why she’d ask to know. “That’s only if you can handle the training. After all, the technique is dangerous to any when not used properly.” I answer.
My answer seemed to spark a question with Twilight. “Archoke, where did you learn the technique?” she asked. The girls seem to share in the curiosity. My eyebrows raise at the question but the shock wore of quick enough for me to answer.
“Well to start, I need to start somewhere else. Do any of you know of the Kais?” I ask. Not expecting an actual answer. But soon remembered that all deities know of the Kais. The reactions were instant.
The Princesses look at me wide eyed as Celestia shakily replies, “H-how do you know of the Kais? Only gods know of them.” A look of realization dawns on her. “Y-You mean you trained with the Kais?! That’s impossible. Only deities know of the Kais!”
The reaction proved more than I thought they knew. “That at least makes things easier. I’ve seen more than my fair share of combat as well as gods. My guess is you two are goddesses?” I inquire.
Celestia notices where I’m going as she replies, “Yes we are, I am goddess of the sun, my sister is the goddess of the moon.” The girls are shocked at the revelation of the two goddesses next to them.
“That should explain that feeling I’ve had in the castle. But I have asked a little to much any thing more?” I ask.
“Yes, there is one more question. How did you know of my sister when she was the nightmare when only I knew of it?” Celestia asked. I knew this was a risk but this was something I needed to tell to protect them.
“The answer is more than just a simple explanation. This will require some patients.” I respond.
“The answer to how I knew who you were and are, is a bit weird and strange. Think you can handle it?” I ask. The girls notice my nervousness. They proceed to worry about what I have to say.
After a minute passed, Rainbow gathered up the courage to trust my claims. “No matter what, I won’t leave big guy.” Rainbow states. The girls’ expressions tell me she’s telling the truth. This act of reassurance steels my resolve.
After taking a breath to gather my thoughts, I come to one thought. ‘No matter what, I’ll protect these beings with all my power.’ “The reason I know who you were Princess Luna, is well, I’m not from this dimension. Where I come from, there are those that know what these six mares’ story could be and some BIG events.” I say.
The room is shocked to my statement. It ranged from different reactions. The girls and Spike stare at me like I grew a second head. While the princesses seem unsure as to what I imply. Noticing the Princesses reaction, I walk over to Celestia and whisper something that only she would understand. “Don’t worry about Twilight. She soars above and beyond all expectations.” Taking a moment to register what I said, she understands the message I convey and smiles warmly. I walk back to my original spot. “What I am is something called a displaced, or dimensionally misplaced. From my old world there are stories about a multitude of us helping other Equestrias.” I add.
The room is taken aback even more at the thought of more Equestrias. The girls’ questions magnify at that thought. The princesses raise their eyebrows at this knowledge. The first questions asked was by a frantic Twilight. “So you know what will happen? How did your world come across us? When will the next big event happen?”
At her enthusiasm I chuckle. “Whoa, hold on. One at a time. Okay, in order, I know what could happen. That certainty ended when I came here. My guess is dimensional bleeding for you. Maybe this is a different timeline of the dragonverse.” I answer.
“What do you mean different timeline, sir Archoke?” Princess Celestia inquires. Her posture evolves into an interrogative one. Meanwhile I see Twilight is writing out and filling a role of parchment.
“What I mean Princess, is there was a time traveler that came from twenty years in the future to save someone that was immensely vital to a fight that ravished his timeline. The person he saved was a powerful warrior. He was the Earths greatest champion. He was and is stronger than I am.” I respond.
I notice Twilight come to a thought. The others notice this as well. She looked at me with a hunger for knowledge in her eyes. “Who was the warrior that he saved?” she asked. The others have a look of confusion on their face, but soon look at me.
The look I gave in response to the question was a chuckle. “Do you remember when we talked about Kakarot?” I ask. The looks the girls give me are wide eyed. “It seems you do. Now it seems I can shed a little more light on this subject but beware this story is not one of joy." The room notice my tone shift from light tone to a darker one. "In the time traveler’s future, his planet was reduced to destruction by only two beings. They were androids. Organic beings with mechanical parts, they held no empathy.” I state. The room heard my voice hold complete malice towards the two.
The princesses knowing the Saiyans, knew what I was implying. Rainbow seemed the most vocal in the rooms general thought. “Come on big guy. It couldn’t have been that bad. I mean, what could they possibly do?” she inquired. Her confidence was diminishing at the look I held. The others gathered from my expression the answer wasn’t something good.
“Young Rainbow Dash, in my experience, what he knows about this, is something that he knows to be true.” Celestia answers. At the answer, the room grows cold.
“Sir Archoke, was the situation truly that horrific?” Luna asked. I look and see all eyes on me waiting for my answer. The look in her eyes are ones that aren't used to the level of the Saiyans and Aarcrosians. It pained me to tell the truth, but I had to in order to paint the correct picture.
“The situation was the two were monsters in every sense of the word. Those two thought it was nothing more than a game. Each person was nothing but more points for them to keep score. They only stopped when another avenged the earthlings, his name was Trunks.” I answer with complete venom in my voice. The room were startled by my voice but the Princesses held looks of horror. Horror from knowing beings that malicious were out there.
The girls looked at the Princesses, but saw Luna shaking in horror, while Celestia was shaking in slight anger. “H-How could such creatures exist? To hold no value of life. Cruelty of this level was only known by one other.” Luna shakily said. She was embraced by Celestia. The rest of the room occupants were shaken at how their princesses reacting.
Twilight wanting to get away from the subject, put together the thoughts of Goku asked, “What happened to him that caused him to need to be saved?” the room held similar thoughts after calming down and processing her question.
Hearing the question, I forced myself to calm down. "Kakarot was done in by a heart disease that held no cure at the time. By the time it was developed he was already gone. He was leaving behind nine-year-old son. A father, husband, and dear friend was gone all to soon.” I replied solemnly. The eyes of all in the room held tears at my somber tone. Only to tear up more at how he was a father.
"The only thing I took solace in was his son turned into a great warrior and an even better rallying cry. His life was one fought to save all he could. His student instilled hope for all of the earthlings." The room notice my voice carry strength. It effected all that heard me. I saw determination cover all the faces in the room, leading me to a single truth filled idea. 'This is my responsibility, to give hope to those that can't fight.' I cleared my voice to show that the questions were coming to an end. Everyone after a couple of minutes calmed down enough to continue.
“W-well, that’s the story. But your questions seem to be answered. Now, tomorrow I’ll be training. If any want to join, you’re welcome to but beware, Nappa and Raditz will be there. I’ll be teaching a style as much as I can. (have fun guessing which style) We start at eight a.m. stop at three in the afternoon. Oh, by the way Applejack. Would you mind if we practice on your farm, part of my plan is to help with farming for training.” I inform. Everyone notices my slightly tense stance but none ask, thinking it had to do with the questions.
“Oh uh, sure Archoke. The more hands-on board the better. Just be sure to be ready.” Applejack replies. The girls react by smiling a small bit, other than Pinkie’s wide smile.
The princesses got to their hooves and started walking out. “Until next time my little ponies. And sir Archoke? Thank you for protecting them.” Princess Celestia said. Her posture was one of immense gratitude for the small action.
“It wasn’t a problem, and I’d gladly do it again. If you need me to do something just look for the explosions.” I joke to lighten the mood further. It seemed to work as I heard giggling from everyone. As I saw the princesses leave, I began to leave as well. At getting to the door, I look for the two Saiyans in my custody. “Nappa, Raditz get over here!” I bark out. The two came over to me, each holding a different expression. Nappa was agitated, while Raditz was a little fearful. At seeing them I look towards the girls and see uncertainty. “Don’t worry these two won’t step out of line, right you two?” I state.
The two Saiyans nod. “W-well Archoke, we were wondering where you were going to stay. I was hoping you would stay here in the library so we could talk to easier. W-what do you think?” Twilight stuttered. The girls looked to me for an answer.
I never thought about where to stay only when events would happen. My reaction to this revelation was to groan at my shortsighted thinking. “I’ll be honest, I didn’t get that far in my plans. Whoops.” I chuckle out. The girls and Saiyans faceplant before getting up. Although Pinkie somehow had a comedic sweat drop on her. “What about Nappa and Raditz? I know you can’t feed the three of us with you and Spike.”
“Well, that makes things easier, I guess. I offered for you, Applejack offered for Raditz, and Fluttershy offered for Nappa. That should take care of everything.” Twilight explained. I noticeably relax my posture. The girls began to walk towards me.
“That just leaves one more thing for me to do, I guess. Don’t worry this is just a to do list of mine, so why don’t my students go get settled in.” I say. The party seem to be off to do just that. “Oh and Raditz.” Raditz tensed up at me singling him out. “Don’t worry so much, I’m not like Vegeta.” I add. His expression turns to one of bewilderment, then to thankfulness. It serves to make me smile while the girls get confused by my words.
“I’ll see you and Spike later Twilight. I’m just going to do something really quick.” I say before flying off. I give a quick salute before I blast off to find a clear field. Out of the corner of my vision I see her and Spike wave. After a sec or two I start to hum a certain tune to myself.
At seeing an opening, I land and begin to think. “So, what should my token be?” I wonder. I put my hand in a pocket before feeling something the size of my palm. I pull it out and see I’m holding a ‘Time Patrol’ medal. “Why do I have this? How did I not feel this during the fight?” I ask aloud. After studying the medal it looks like the real deal. “Funny, I didn’t think they would feel this heavy. Should this be my token? Well maybe it should.” I ponder.
I raise my hand and state with pride, “I am the hero of Conton city. If you need a warrior, a friend, or even a friendly spar just say, ‘Time Patrol, mission start’ and I’ll appear. But beware to those who are evil.” After my speech I chuck the medal in the air and see it go into the void. “Weird to see it first-hand.” I say.
Seeing my errand is done I fly back to the library and see it’s about six. I walk in to see Twilight organizing the library and unpacking her stuff. I look it over and find books. “Oh you’re back. Welcome to the home of me and Spike. And now you. I think I’ll join your training. But for now I think we should eat. It’s probably been a log day for everypony. Spike’s working on it now.” Twilight informs.
“Thanks Twi.” I say as I help sort the library as best as I can. The sorting took another hour before Spike was done with what he cook. We all sat and ate Spike’s delicious food. This saiyan biology must make food tastier because I ate almost all of the food. Soon we got done, Twilight and Spike went off to the spare room in the library while I slept on the couch in the main library. “I wonder what adventures I’ll have on this planet? Heh, maybe a 'Journey Through the West'. Maybe, just maybe.” I think to myself.
A shadowed figure is seen in the night sky. “Hmmmm, this will be more fun than I thought this experiment would be. Maybe I should change a variable to keep this going. The energy will be off the charts.” He chuckles. The figure steps out in a stray light and places a capsule case with supplies next to the time patroller.
“Be sure to put on a show at the next opponent, k? Do that and I think I can keep giving you more supplies. Buh-bye now.” He states. He waves and vanishes in a cloud of dark purple mist that dissipates instantly. The occupants of the library were none the wiser.
1st pov Archoke
Time: 6 am
I wake up and stretch to see the library and a somewhat awake Spike going to the kitchen. “Morning Spike. Getting breakfast? Let me help.” I get up and start to walk over to him only to trip and grunt. The sudden noise shook Spike to completely wake him up and rush to my side. I heard Twilight at the top of the stairs gasp, followed by hoof steps. I shakily sat up to recuperate.
“Archoke are you alright? What did you even trip on?” Twilight asked. I looked up to see her. She looked at me in worry, soon changing into confusion at something else. I looked to where her attention was and froze.
To my surprise I saw a case with the ‘Capsule Corp’ logo on it. Picking it up, I examined the item to see if any thing was damaged. “How did this even get here? The only place that can have this level of technology is ... no way.” I say in bewilderment. The two others catch my train of thought but Twilight is the only one to ask about the case.
“Is that from that earth place? It looks so simple.” I look towards Twilight with a knowing and excited smirk.
“Don’t worry I’ll demonstrate them later during or after training. Just go get some breakfast, I have to clean up anyway. ” I say. I see Twi with a wide smile at learning something new. I walked off to find the bathroom.
Entering, I look in the capsule case and see one with my outfit in weighted clothing. I took it and popped it in the air seeing it disperse in a cloud I see my clothes along with a golden scouter. The weight read five hundred kilos for the wrist warmers, the chest piece was five thousand kilos, and the boots were one thousand. “Huh, just eight tons? Well, if Kakarot can do forty tons easily when in super saiyan, then I can do eight easily. Now let’s get cleaned up.” After my musings I cleaned up and put on my new gear and pocketing the case before walking out. The weighted clothing felt light but I still had to put more effort into my actions.
I walked into the kitchen and found pancakes galore on the table. I thank Spike for the food before eating. In true saiyan fashion I stuffed my face. It felt like I hadn’t eaten in weeks. After stopping to look around and make conversation, I see Twilight and Spike looking at me with wide eyes. I thankfully had a look of embarrassment. I cleared my throat to voice an opinion of mine and to get their attention. “Well, I should warn you Twi. This training will be rigorous and will test you. Think you should still tag along?” I ask.
Looking at her, she shakes her head and smiles. “Thanks for the warning but this Ki business could be a breakthrough. Think of the applications. It could revolutionize everything we know, and you are so far the only leading expert on it.” She informs.
As I feel her enthusiasm, I chuckle at how excited she is. “Well then, let’s finish this meal and get Nappa so we can get to it.” I exclaim. Hearing my words the three of us finish the meal and head out the door to get the ‘saiyan elite’.
After getting a grumpy Nappa from Fluttershy’s cottage, me, Twilight, and Spike headed on over to Sweet Apple Acres. Upon entering I noticed Applejack and Rainbow Dash talking about something while Raditz looked around at the orchard. “Hey AJ. Gonna join me in training everyone?” I ask her. The three notice me and soon Rainbow and Raditz lined up ready for training. I took in their posture, and Raditz looked tense and unsure.
“Sorry there sugar cube. But I need to buck these here apples. Maybe next time.” She turned around to the orchard and started to kick the trees to knock down the apples.
“No problem there.” I turned around to face my ‘students’. “Alright. Let’s get started. First, I’m going to have you all stretch and then we’ll start the training.” I ordered. Seeing Rainbow and Twilight stretching, I see Raditz stretch a bit clumsily, and Spike just sitting around. Nappa was just standing with a scowl on his face.
“Why should the great Nappa stretch? I could easily defeat everyone else here.” He said. He gestured at the others.
“Well, I don’t know about that. I think if Twilight and Rainbow grouped up, they could easily beat you. Just be careful and don’t underestimate your opponent.” I suggest. After seeing everyone done stretching, I wander over to a field of ground vegetables. “Alright, I’m going to show you all what you can expect from the next few days of training. So pay close attention.” I get into a crouching position and after a couple of seconds I shoot off rapidly digging out the crops. With each crop I only use one hand to scoop them out in one motion. At the end, my ‘students’ stare at me with wide eyes. “What?” I ask.
“How did you do that so fast?! It was like a blur!” Rainbow stated. The only one to not agree were the Saiyans, but they were wondering something else.
“Why are we doing farm work? It would be better to do something else, would it not?” Raditz asked. His stance was one of irritation.
“You would be surprised at how much a workout this could give you. Not to mention my outfit weighs about eight tons. It helps when I need progress.” I state with pride. I felt a smug smile on my face. I took the vegetables to a basket and took them to the barn for storage and walked back.
Looking back at my charges, I notice their bewildered expression and agape mouths. “E-eight tons?! How are you not breaking your bones, let alone standing or even moving that fast?” Twilight asked frantically. As the question was asked the others seemed to share the notion.
“Well, this body was carved from lifetime of battles and training. It also doesn’t hurt to be smart.” I state while gesturing to myself. I move to a clearing and begin to practice punches and kicks to get used to the weighted clothing. After a minute, I jump up and launch a barrage of punches and kicks at blinding speeds to show off a bit. “Enough messing around. Next, we’ll be practicing martial arts. Choose a spot and start to practice on any if you don’t know any, I’ll gladly teach you as much as I can. Oh and Nappa, don’t try to squash anyone, try to just improve rather than dominate. Otherwise it will just take longer to get stronger.”
Hearing my instructions, Twilight and surprisingly Raditz, walk over to me. I fall into my stance at seeing Raditz fall into his. (Imagine Goku’s horse stance but more relaxed and slightly aggressive). “Okay Twilight, try to pay attention to what I do. This will probably be fast.” As I heard dirt settling, I assumed Twilight sat down to take notes. “Okay Raditz, take this slow and then ramp up power in increments. So, begin this spar.” Hearing my words Raditz shot off at me with a fist cocked back to strike.
I caught it, catching him off guard. His shock gave away as he tried to kick me. With a simple parry I knocked him off balance. He recovered to blur behind me unleashing a floating donkey kick. “Try to not waste energy in your attacks Raditz.” I say before blocking his kick with my knee a slight shockwave ensued. Raditz backed up in shock at seeing how outclassed he truly was. Seeing an opening I punch the air to send a pressurized stream of air at him. Seeing it connect Raditz is launched back. Before he made contact with the ground, he stopped himself. I took notice of his expression and noticed he felt a lot of pain from that pressure cannon. He just landed, just barely not wincing in pain. “Alright Raditz, take a break and rest up. Twilight pop-quiz, what were my movements conveying?”
Twilight was taken out of her state of awe hearing pop-quiz. “O-oh. Your movements seemed to be quick and not overly forceful until Raditz was caught off guard.” She smiled uneasily. Unsure if her answer was correct.
“That is correct. The reason why is that I could have been hit trying to just hit him without thinking. Or he could have thrown me to gain distance. Going for strong or big attacks can be more exhausting or dangerous than just slowly breaking away someone’s defense.” I answer. Seeing she got it correct I see her smile widely. “Now go get Rainbow and Nappa. We’ll be sparing until 3 and rest when necessary.” Twilight got up and went off to find the prismatic Pegasus and Saiyan elite. When I saw her leave, my face turns to worry before I turned towards Raditz and cleared my throat. “Raditz, would you like to talk about your time under Vegeta?”
Hearing my question he flinched and tensed so much I thought that he was struck. “W-Why would I ever need to talk about that pompous prince? He was my superior, nothing more nothing less. Let’s just get on with the lessons, shall we?” he responded.
Before I could push the issue more, I saw the remainder of my students and sighed. “Okay, now we’ll spar until the time hits 3 pm. If you understand move to a partner.” Seeing my students spar, I think to what my plan is. ‘No point in trying to get back. I now have greater responsibilities now. I just hope I can get a proper farewell.’ I continue to think about the past until I get lost.
Time: 3 pm
I’m roused from my thoughts by AJ coming over. “Thanks for taking care of the vegetables there Archoke. Maybe I should get you to help the harvest. It may just be enough.” She jokes.
Noticing a good opportunity at training the Saiyans, I start to think. “No problem AJ. Just call and me and my students will help.” I said noticing Twilight and Spike walking over. I turned to see Spike munching on an apple and Twilight exhausted. “Hey, you two ready for departure? Wait, Spike. Why are you eating?” I ask unsure if I forgot lunch.
“Hey Archoke. I was eating because we forgot lunch. Also are you sure about this training?” Spike answered. He turned to swallow the apple in one go.
“Of course I’m sure. This is how one can build speed and strength, not to mention ...” I began before hearing Spike wheezing and finally burp out a scroll with three tickets. “Oh boy, this’ll be fun.” I quietly murmur to myself before I roll my eyes. No-one seemed to notice my apathy for the tickets. I see Twilight take note of the scroll before standing up after catching her breath.
“O-oh Spike, what’s the letter say?” Twilight asked. She walked over to hear better, probably hearing her heart pounding in her ears.
“It says her its an invite to the ‘Grand Galloping Gala’. *ahem* ‘Twilight, you are hereby cordially invited to the Grand Galloping Gala. You may bring any plus one. Also sir Archoke you are also invited, we hope to see you both soon and know of the ‘Earth’ soon.’ Wow, a ticket to the gala Twilight! Imagine all the things we could do!” The small drake exclaimed. “And what about you Archoke? Are you excited about the gala?” he asked me.
“Well, this is a big honor to be invited. I will admit that. I’ll take some time to consider it, and to make a plan for the gala.” I say. Secretly I dreaded going to the gala. My emotional mask was seen by everyone but, they all thought it was from me being an ambassador for Earth.
“Oh no. That’s right you’re going as an ambassador for Earth. How could I be so forgetful?” Twilight chided herself. She walked over to me, showing a smile. I smiled myself seeing a friendly smile.
“Well, if you two want to go get lunch, then go on I’ll meet up later. Also Twi, don’t forget. Everything is more fun with your friends.” I hint to her. After my talk I flare my aura and flew to the library to think about certain events and attacks to help defend this world. “I need to get used to this body. This world will only get more active as time goes on.”
Landing in front of the library, I walked in and meditated while floating to get better at controlling my ki. After a minute of floating to make sure that I’ll stay stable I begin to think. ‘This may be harder than I thought. I mean, I only fought Nightmare Moon and I was pushed to use the Kaio-ken. The other villains are only going to get stronger. I need to get stronger so I can protect this world. Maybe some image training will help me see where I am.’ I settle down in my meditation. After some time, I settle in and project planet Namek, and begin to project at first a head of spiky hair. The hair connected to a Vegeta wearing a battle suit with a tail. Next to the Vegeta image was final form Freiza.
Vegeta shot off at me with power. His left fist was cocked back to punch me. I struck his fist with my own with 0.02% power to match his full power. His face showed anger. His other fist moved to strike but was met with my palm. Moving to end this fight to see my ability so far, I raise my power to 33% and open my other palm and blast him. Smoke is all that remains. ‘Hmm, seems I’m stronger than this Vegeta. Let’s move to the lizard.’
Moving fast, I blitz in front of Freiza and throw a punch at his face. To my expectations he caught my fist with his tail. He threw me at a plateau. I stopped before I could crash and raised my power to 66% to just test the waters. As we made eye contact, we shot off before clashing in the middle of the air. It was a flurry of blows being dodged and parried with us only for the both of us to barely graze each other. It ended when it became a power struggle and interlocked hands. He looked at me with disgust before it changed to amusement and he gave his input. “How troubling, another foolish ape like the super simian clad in orange. But at least it was fun blowing up that annoying earthling friend of his. Hahahahaha!!!”
Before I knew it, I shouted in anger “You dare to talk about that in front of me?!” and raised myself to 100% power while flaring my aura and kneed his gut causing him to stagger back in pain. His face contorted in anger only to be knocked away with a punch. I chased after and got behind him to hit him away again. I positioned myself in a familiar T-pose position and gathered power in my hands and yelled out in gathering power. My muscles seemed to pulse with the power I was forcing. Slamming them together, the blast produced yellow lighting that carved the land.
Freiza righted himself only to see me prepping my attack. In a split-second decision he gather energy for a death ball. The power he gave off felt like mine. I assumed it was 75%. “Goodbye monkey!” I heard him yell.
“Cocky bastard! Final Flash!” I yell. The attacks met in the middle to have a violent reaction fighting for dominance. With a smirk I yell out “Kaio-ken!" My aura changed to red as the clash became child's play. I yelled out at the emperor a good bye that signaled he lost. "Sayonara!” I yelled and push as much power as I can into the blast. It easily overtook the death ball. Freiza saw the incoming attack and put his hands up to push back the blast. Not noticing the power difference he was consumed by the blast. The last noise he made was a pained scream before nothing.
I cut the blast and Kaio-ken before coming to a thought. ‘At least I can defend against a super saiyan level threat. But just barely. It felt like fighting Nightmare moon.’ At the end I come back to reality and see it’s now nighttime. A flash gathers my attention and I see Spike and Twilight. “Hey you two. Trouble with the tickets?”
The two then look at each other before looking at me in shock. The Twilight was the first to break the silence. “Whoa! How did you know? Wait, lock the doors and windows!” she said as she and Spike locked all the windows and door.
“Well, the two of you are panting and are clutching the tickets.” I say. Trying to hide that I knew this would happen. Landing on my feet after my meditation, I walked over and sensed the area for the girls. They were hiding in the kitchen. I looked over there with a frown. “Alright girls get out here. I know you’re there.” I say aloud. The girls walked over to us and held ashamed faces. It was clear that they knew it was bad.
Before I could say anything Twilight snapped at the mares. “I can’t decide alright! I don’t want to disappoint any of you! I don’t know what to do!” her face was one of tiredness and slight anger. The others saw it and their expressions got more worried and ashamed. Taking a breath Twilight calmed down.
My expression turned sour at the situation. The girls rejected the tickets after seeing how much they pushed the lavender unicorn. “You know compromising can help a lot. Like either all of you going or none of you.” I hint towards. Seeing Twilight come to an idea I know my job is done.
“Spike take a note...” is all I hear Twilight say before I have my own thoughts.
‘This reminds of something, a warm feeling. I wonder...’ I think before I’m interrupted from my thoughts.
“Hey Archie, we’re going to eat, aren’t you coming?” Pinkie offers.
I smile before walking over. “Are you sure you can pay for my eating habits?” I tease. We all laugh before we go to Sugar Cube Corner.
(Oooo. Is he gonna realize what the thought was? Maybe Pinkie, now go to your friends. Okie Dokie.)
After the celebration, we returned to our homes to turn in. The capsule case packed away in my pockets. The night passed without a problem. Waking up, I noticed not everyone was up and decided to take an early flight. Coming to a random hill, I begin to stretch and look around for my saiyan charges. Feeling them still at Ponyville, I attempt to learn my favorite utility, the ‘multiform’ technique. I try to feel my ki and separate my body using it as my proxy. My scouter for the first time picks up a signal. Seeing no problem I fly to the signal. Traveling to the location I see the castle of the two sisters again. “Hmmm, what could’ve made this thing active? Well it could be another saiyan or Freiza force member. Best to check it out before the ponies.” I mutter.
Entering the castle, I see the scouter pointing down to the foyer. I see the aftermath of the fight Nightmare and me. The foyer is left in a sorry state. Finally, I set my eyes on a pile of rubble that the scouter reacts to rapidly. I walked over and rummaged in the pile to find the most bizarre sight, a four-star dragon ball. Suddenly, I heard a deep voice speaking from the dragonball.
“You have found the four-star dragonball. Find the other remaining six and I will grant you one or two wishes. If you seek companionship, you may summon me with only one dragonball, however I will be in a much smaller and weaker form”
Hearing the voice, I drop the dragon ball in my shocked stupor. “S-Shenlong?! How are you … Wait, six others? Hmmm, a wish would be useful. Maybe I can set this thing to find them.” I said while moving my hand to my scouter. After a couple of clicks, one of which had music, I turned on the function to locate the remaining dragon balls. Seeing it locate the one I dropped, I pick it up and head off to the next one.
The next location it led me to, was the castle at Canterlot. The signal got stronger in the garden. I see the seven-star ball. A thought occurs to me after picking up the dragon ball. ‘Wait, it said I could summon him with one. Maybe I should try my luck with him.’ Looking up, I see the one thing I dread to go against. The statue of Discord. “This might be worse than I probably thought. Best to just leave and deal with him later.” I mumble. Igniting my aura, I fly back to the library.
Entering back into the library, I see Twilight and Spike eating breakfast. “Hey you two. Awake and ready for the day?” I asked.
The two looked to see me with a strange ‘gem’. “Hey Archoke, what’s that gem with the stars on it?” Twilight asked. I looked at Spike drooling a little and held it slightly defensively.
Clearing my throat, I looked back at Twilight. “Well, this gem is something I came across. It’s something I wanted to show you and the girls… and the princesses. Think we can gather them up?” I inquire. I moved over to get in on the eating.
“Sure! Spike, take a letter.” Twilight began, pausing to clear her throat. ‘Dear Princess Celestia, Archoke has found a gem that he thought the girls and I, as well as Princess Luna and you should see. He seems to think it would be a good idea. Your student, Twilight Sparkle.” she finished. She turned to see Spike send the letter off to Celestia. I looked in awe at the green smoke leaving for the princesses. I stood to see Twilight looking at me in mild curiosity. “We should get started on getting the girls together, shouldn’t we?” she asked, bringing me out of my stupor.
Blushing, I looked away. “Y-yeah, we should.” I stuttered. After Spike cleaned up we set off to gather the girls. The girls and I waited in front of the library, waiting for our last arrivals. Two flashes brought our attention to the left of the library. “Hello Princess Celestia, and you too Princess Luna. For this demonstration we’ll need a bigger space for this. Follow me.” I informed them. We walked to a clearing outside of Ponyville, much like the field I was at. “Ok, I hope this works.” I whispered to myself. Placing down the seven-star ball, I began to state, “Eternal dragon Shenlong, by your name I summon you!”
At once, a bright glow consumed the dragonball, and with a brief flash, a much smaller Shenlong came darting out of the dragonball and quickly wrapped part of its body around it like a guardian being protective of its treasure. Slowly, Shenlong opened up his eyes, revealing a pair of glowing red eyes. He slowly gazed around the room, taking in the sights of the library until his eyes landed on me. "...I don't recall humans existing on the planet of Equus.." Shenlong said as he raised his upper body like that of a snake. In comparison to me, while he wasn't huge and towering, he was still tall enough to be above me.
Taking a moment to gather my thoughts, I looked to see the others' reaction. It was pure shock. Chuckling at their expressions, I look back to the dragon. “Well Shenlong, that is true, but I am a saiyan.” I said. I took a second to gauge his reaction at my declaration.
“I knew I had a vision of this, but I couldn’t foresee when I’d arrive. Divine sight tends to have limitations when it comes to worlds outside of my own.” Shenlong explained as he looked over at Spike.
Spike, seeing his gaze upon himself, felt intimidated at first, before seeing a look in the other dragon's eyes. “W-what kind of d-dragon are you? Do you know what dragons a-are really like?” he asked hopefully. The mares and I looked at him in surprise. Everyone looked at each other before looking back to Shenlong for answers.
“As the saiyan said when he was summoning me, I would be the Eternal Dragon, Shenron or as the human calls me; Shenlong. The dragons of this world will not be of the same species as me, but they will most certainly be bigger than you, assuming my future sight is being truthful here.” Shenlong explained as his eyes flickered softly.
The look on Spike’s face told me he was slightly disappointed with the answer but had no more questions. Looking at the rest of the group, Twilight was doing her best to comfort the small drake. The princesses seemed to have questions of their own. “Sir Shenron, Thou said divine sight. Doth thou mean to say that thou art of divine creation or existence?” Luna inquired. Her face held a look of confusion.
“I suppose I am, for the dragonballs are bound by two goddess-like beings. As long as they remain alive, so shall I.” Shenlong explained to Luna. I suddenly jumped when I heard Shenlong speak inside of my head. “If you understand multiverse theory, then you’ll understand whom those two goddesses are in my world.” Shenlong telepathically said to me.
Taking into consideration what the eternal dragon stated, I responded “I figured, considering they know of the Kai’s, which means a being above them is here… Lord Beerus. This would’ve been easier if I knew where he was.” My response to the dragon gave me an idea. “Eternal dragon, would it be possible to tell me the status of Kakarot or Son Goku?” I question the dragon.
“That is currently beyond my power. If you desire for me to have better clarity, you will need to gather the last remaining six dragonballs in order for my sight to see further across this planet.” Shenlong said, pausing as he raised a claw. “A small warning if you do; tell no one but only the most trusted of what they are capable of. I desire not for villains of this world to gather them as well.” Shenlong said as a warning.
The warning reached Celestia’s ears, letting her know what could happen. “Very well sir Shenron. I’ll make sure only my most trusted little ponies know what you are capable of.” she stated with a small smile. She turned to me signaling that she and her sister were satisfied. Soon she turned to the rest of the group. “This to remain a secret that only the eight of you know, but I have a feeling that sir Archoke knew to keep this secret. Perhaps that’s why he wanted my sister and I to attend, isn’t it?” she asked, looking at me.
I gave a knowing smirk before returning my gaze to Shenron. “That should be everything that can be asked.” I said aloud. Thinking to myself, I came up with my own conclusion. “The knowledge of Shenron might prove useful and the journey might be great too. Huh, my very own ‘Journey to the West’. This may be better than I could hope with that pesky demon realm magic.” I whisper. Clearing my throat, I gain a smile and state, “Well Shenron that should be all, I bid you farewell.” waving to him.
“Before I go, I want to offer you a parting gift, if you so wish to accept. In my current state while I am here, I have enough power to unlock someone's latent potential; to bring fourth ones hidden ki or magical capacity they cannot tap into.”
Hearing those words the room goes dead silent. I turned to look at the other occupants. The reactions varied, from nervousness to shock. Thinking about who could make the most of the gift, only one comes to mind. With a smile, I walk over to Twilight and place my hand on her shoulder. “I think it should go to Twilight. She was the one to rally everyone here, so she gets my vote.” My little speech let everyone know that I fully trust her to be the best. As everyone got behind Twilight, I noticed she got very nervous. Seeing this, I gave her a thumbs up and a friendly smile.
Seeing my smile must have helped steel her nerves. With a shaky voice, she says, “I-I will accept th-this gift, to make my friends proud. I thank you Shenron.” she knelt down to await the gift.
Shenlong reaches out, hovering his claws over Twilight’s head. All was silent in the library, so silent you could hear one of Twilight’s books fluttering. Shenlong’s arm took on a golden glow before suddenly, Twilight felt a powerful rush of magic go through her body, causing steaming heat to radiating off of her body. Slowly lifting his claw away, Twilight’s body was glowing with newly awakened power, her magic capacity had risen by a vast amount that she never knew she had. “Whoa!” was all I heard her say before looking back.
I saw Princess Celestia gape at the power radiating from Twilight, before it turned into a small but proud smile. I felt her power raise to double what it was. Celestia moved in to guide Twilight to the couch so she could become used to her magic increase. Noticing her excited smile, I feel pride well up inside. Remembering the giant dragon, my line of thought drifts to what waits in the future. “Huh, this life could get more fun, if this is how it goes.” I think to myself, laughing a small amount. My gaze returns to Shenron one more time. “This should be farewell, now how to send you back.”
“No need.” Shenlong said as the dragonball glowed. “Until we meet again, saiyan.” Shenlong said as his whole glowed, vanishing in a beam of light. The dragonball did not turn to stone, making me curious as to why.
After picking up the dragonball, I look at the rest of the group. I see them gathering around Twilight. Rainbow and Pinkie were excitedly asking how Twilight felt. I made my presence known by walking over to check up on her. “Hey, big guy. What was that about? You know the dragon?” Rainbow ask me.
All eyes turned to me. The princesses held a curious expression, while the others held a confused expression. Taking a moment to gather my thoughts I let out a sigh. “There are multiple of those dragons. In total there are three more I know of. One is called Parunga. He is more powerful than Shenron. But more to the point, how are you Twilight?” I explain.
The mare in question looked at me with a smile. “I feel great, like I can do anything!” she exclaimed while jumping to her hooves.
I get an idea with my new device. Clicking the scouter, the scouter reads her power level at six thousand. “At least I now know where she is. Maybe I could check the princesses.” I think to myself.
My actions gain the attention of princess Celestia. “Sir Archoke, what is that accessory on your head?” she asked. The others notice the scouter adopting a curious look as well.
“This is a scouter, to my knowledge this model can look at your power level or fight potential and apparently play music. Why don’t I show you.” I inform handing it over to Twilight. She seemed hesitant about the level of technology. But the last bit of information I said seemed to draw confused looks directed at me.
Taking the device, Twilight held it like how it sat on my head. Seeing her hold it I tell her how to turn it on. Hearing the noise from the scouter, I knew she figured it out. She looked at princess Luna first. “Whoa, it says here princess Luna is forty million.” The reactions of the party tells me that they don’t know how powerful beings or deities can be. Twilight then turns to Celestia. “W-what?! It’s even larger than Luna’s! It says here she has a power of ninety million!” she exclaims. I see the shock on the rooms face.
When she turns to me she seems to have a hesitant look. Thinking she might think about how strong I am because of my fight with Nightmare Moon, I tell her my thoughts. “Hey its ok. This is to see a goal for any training. So let’s see my strength.”
Hearing my reassurance, she gains a small smile. Deciding to mess with everyone, I lower my ki to one percent. “Alright. It says ... wait that shouldn’t be right. It says here it’s nine hundred thousand. But you were able to match Nightmare in strength.” Twilight said. Everyone was shocked, while the princesses had curious looks. Deciding to tell a secret with my ki, I raise my power ten percent. “Wait, now it says it’s nine million.” she said.
I look to see the princesses received my little hint. “It seems like sir Archoke knows how to impress us at his feats.” She said with a small smile. I could feel her mirth at the situation. Looking to Luna, I saw a sly smile. This told me they understood what I did.
Wearing a proud smirk I say, “I work hard is all.” signaling I understood her message. I look to see Twilight handing me back the scouter. “Oh, that reminds me. Training will start soon, let’s go! Oh princesses, would you two like to stay and pick up some tips?” I inquire turning to the two.
“Oh sir Archoke, are you asking us to join you in a session?” Celestia asked in a slightly sly tone. I turn to see Luna wearing an uncertain expression.
I look at both princesses with a wide smile breaking out. “Well sure. Isn’t that what friends do? So why wouldn’t I?” I ask. Looking around I see everyone looking at me in shock. “I-is something wrong? Is it something I said?” I ask a bit nervously.
Seeing my hesitation Luna moves to fix the situation. “O-oh it’s not that sir Archoke. It’s just thou would consider thy sister and mine self, friends?” she asked me.
Seeing the problem, I move to reply. “Why wouldn’t I? I mean you opened your world to me and welcomed me with open arms, even with past experiences. I would gladly consider you and Celestia friends. This is the least I can do, so please accept my friendship.” I say with a smile.
Moving to me, I’m meet with a surprising hug by both sisters. “I will gladly accept your friendship and ask that as a friend you call me Tia.” Celestia said. Blushing a little at the surprise hug, I hug the two back.
“W-well let’s get to training sh-shall we?” I ask nervously breaking the hug. As I move to Sweet Apple Acres, I hear the girls giggling behind me adding to my blush. After that, the day was spent with the girls and the Saiyans training as the princesses watched. I spent my time working on the multiform technique.

The last couple of days were interesting to say the least. Applejack spent the days clearing out the orchard by herself. Knowing what would happen and knowing I wouldn’t be able to change much, I secretly knocked down a couple of trees worth of apples. It wasn’t known until after applejack asked for help that I revealed that I helped. For that I got a couple of choice words for pulling the stunt, but after explaining that I felt the need to help a friend in need I was forgiven. After that my progress on the multiform got further to get my body to diverge at the torso. Right now I’m exploring the marketplace in the town. It’s then when I notice Fluttershy backing into a vaguely familiar griffon. Walking over to see what’s going on, I hear and see the griffon roar in front of Fluttershy.
In millisecond a spark of anger flashes in my mind as in an instant, I shock the ponies and griffon by appearing in front of Fluttershy with a face of genuine anger. My sudden appearance makes the griffon I now recognize as Gilda. In as calm a voice I can muster I loudly ask, “Any reason why you were being aggressive with my friend?” My tone made everyone recoil including Gilda.
“Why should I tell the monkey? It’s not like I did anything wrong.” She started to defend herself before I cut her off.
My features contorting in anger I manage to calmly state, “Just because you haven’t seen your friend in a while doesn’t mean you get to be rude to everyone. I understand you want to spend time with her but I don’t think she would want to spend time with a bully.” I see her recoil at my words before she scowls and growls. At a sudden movement, faster than everyone else but me and her, she punches my face. I felt the force put behind the hit but it felt like a tap. I noticed that my head didn’t move from the force. I didn’t move to dodge, knowing she needed to get her anger out. I saw her smirk before moving her hand back and then see her look scared.
“Just think about what you have done recently and think if this is what you want to be treated like. But for now, I’ll let this go.” Turning to Fluttershy, I hold my hand out to move her to her house. “Come on Fluttershy, let’s go get you to sit down, but please understand she’s probably stressed from not seeing her friend in a while.” I say with a worried smile.
I see her take my hand and get up. I lead her to her cottage and look back at Gilda. I see she looks at me with uncertainty. Turning my attention back to Fluttershy, I see her shaking slightly. “Hey it’s fine, I’m here. No need to worry.” I say. It’s then I remember a song that would calm me down in my younger years. Putting my nerves away, I started to sing to calm down the shaking mare.
After singing, I noticed a crowd gathered around and was cheering. Looking back at Fluttershy, I see she stopped shaking and look at me with wonder in her eyes as if I was a guardian angel. “let’s get you back to your cottage, ok?” I ask with a warm smile. Seeing her shake her head, I begin to feel warm. “Don’t forget what I said about Gilda. I know it’s a lot to ask but please. I know what it feels like to miss a friend and not being able to spend time with them.” I whisper. I look to see her nodding. While smiling, I hug her and whisper a thank you.
Time: noon one day later
The rest of yesterday was spent training to get my mind clear so I could be ready for the Pinkie party for Gilda. Arriving at Sugar Cube Corner, I walk in noticing Fluttershy instantly. Walking over to her, I ask if she’s ok. “Hey Fluttershy! Are you ok? You know if somethings wrong you can come to me anytime.”
Hearing my words, she softly waves at me. “Oh, hello Archoke. N-no I’m fine. It’s just a-are you sure about G-Gilda?” she asked me.
Seeing her hesitance, I smiled warmly at her. “I’m sure. Besides each story always has more than one side and each being deserves a second chance. This is just one of the things I’ve learned.” I inform. Hearing scribbling, I turn around and see Twilight writing down my little bit of advice. “Oh, Hey Twilight.” I greet the lavender unicorn.
She looked back at me and greets me as well. “Hey Archoke. Those words of wisdom are something. Where did you learn them?” she asked.
I gave a nervous smile when I couldn’t remember where I heard the phrase. After a couple of seconds, my out came in the form of a griffon. I turned to see Gilda walking over to us as I raised my eyebrow. “Hmmmm. Any reason as to why you would come to us?” I asked in a curious tone.
It seemed Gilda took notice of my tone as she looked a little shock. It looked like she thought I was gonna be angry. She cleared her throat to compose herself. “Y-yeah there is a reason I came over. It’s to apologize.” She said. She looked at me to see me smile.
“Heh, seems you figured out what you wanted to be treated like. Well just know that if you genuinely want to change then I think no one wouldn’t be your friend. But enough about words, it seems like Fluttershy might like that apology.” I say as I turn to face the shy pegasus and griffon.
“R-right. Well, I’d like to apologize for my behavior for yesterday. I was stressed about not seeing Dash. We had a talk about the past and present.” Gilda said. I could hear the sorrow in her words. Little did I know that Pinkie was listening in on the conversation.
“Well, come on. You’re the party’s main focus. Let’s go party.” I said. Moving to the candy bowl that had the spicy candy. Seeing the wrappers, I popped an unwrapped candy in my mouth. “Wow, these are pretty good.” I praised. I turned to see Rainbow’s shocked face. “Is something wrong there Rainbow?” I asked. I knew these were her prank, but I knew that would spoil the surprise.
She moved to the candy and ate one. I was stifling my laugh at the reaction from Rainbow. The party stopped for a moment to see Rainbow running out and me laughing pretty hard. “I-it was a prank from her. I-I didn’t th-think it would backfire th-this bad.” I managed to say from each wheeze. The rest of the party joined in on the laughter seeing the humor. After the laughing calmed down I just hung at the back of the party. It was peaceful, but after an hour, I saw Gilda walking to me.
“T-thanks for giving me a chance and opening my view.” She said. She looked away from me but looked back where she hit me yesterday. I saw she was going to apologize for hitting me but stopped her before she could say a word.
“Hey it’s no problem. Just keep up with being the change you want to be. Now let’s get back party.” I intervene. I led her back to the party. The party lasted till five in the afternoon.
The party really opened up Gilda. It seemed she even wanted to stay for a bit. But that was a couple days ago, today is something just as bad. A clash of pride to rival Vegeta’s. Right now I was viewing Trixie’s show as she was done explaining her victory against an Ursa Major. “And that is how the ‘Great and Powerful Trixie’ defeated an Ursa Major. You may all bask in awe.” She stated.
I looked to see the girls and Gilda talking about the show. “The bravado on that mare, the nerve. Some of us do know how to keep our pride in check. Besides I’m awesome enough for all of us.” I heard Rainbow brag. It’s then I saw AJ give her the stink eye. “I-I mean boo!” Rainbow exclaimed.
“Yeah besides, you got me to be awesome as well. This mare couldn’t be that good.” Gilda explained. At that point I walked next to the group. The crowd started to become restless as I cut through.
“Well, it seems that we have ‘neigh-sayers’ in the crowd. What could you common ponies do that could match the ‘Great and Powerful Trixie’.” Trixie stated. That got the girls attention as each one tried to one-up Trixie. When I saw the treatment of my friends, I started to walk to the stage before Gilda could interrupt.
When I reached the stage Trixie stopped laughing and took notice of my presence. “If you are done being rude I have a trick that even the princesses would have a hard time doing.” I state in a serious tone. My little declaration got the attention of the crowd and induced a state of shock.
“Ha, as if a monkey could top Trixie. But Trixie supposes she could let you do your trick. After all I am great and powerful.” She mocked. It’s then the crowd noticed my smirk as if I knew I’d won.
“Just making sure your ego can handle the blow.” I stated ominously. It’s then that my aura flared to life as I started to shake slightly. The next moment, there were two of me. The crowd had looks of complete shock as I heard every jaw drop. “This is the multiform technique. I can split my power equally into how ever many copies I make. Can the ‘Great and powerful Trixie’ so that?” I asked. I saw as she looked at the both of me and started to stutter.
“W-well Trixie is tired from the p-previous acts, so she can’t do any more. So that is all from the great and powerful Trixie. Goodbye.” She said trying to act cocky. She ‘disappeared’ in a puff of smoke.
Seeing as I won I hopped off the stage and decided to head to the library, but I’m stopped by the girls. “Whoa big guy. That was awesome. That illusion was so cool. To think there could be two of you.” Rainbow praised.
Thinking about her words I raise my eyebrow in confusion. “What do you mean illusion? That technique was what I’ve been working on for the past week.” I inquired. The girls slowly one by one became bewildered by my claim as if truly understanding my words. I walked to get to my destination and rest from the exertion of the multiform. When getting inside, I began to meditate to think about my temper.
After an hour Spike and Twilight came back to the library to look at some spells. Probably to look for a way to deal with an Ursa Major. After some arguing I then heard Spike storm out. Not knowing how to remedy the situation, I went back to meditating. Hours passed and Spike returned feeling more calm. “Hey kid, feeling better after that walk?” I asked. I got out of my meditating position and stood to see him properly.
He turned to face me and had a smile but turned sour like he remembered something. “Hey Archoke. Yeah I’m feeling fine. But do you know how to get Twilight to show up Trixie? I mean she was rude to all our friends.” He ranted.
Getting in a thinking position, I began to think as to what kind of pony Twilight truly is. Thinking for a minute I look back at Spike. “Spike, Twilight has just moved and lived here for a week or so, yes?” I asked.
This caught him off guard judging by his flinch. “W-well yeah, I moved with her.” He responded. He looked at my face and saw that I was serious.
Pausing to sigh, I looked back at Spike. “There are being that have a desire to be better like Trixie and another unicorn. (guess who this is. It might be later content) Then there are those that are content to proving their training when the time is right. Those beings are like Kakarot. Like him, they don’t like to prove they’re better. They know that they’re strong or smart, maybe not the best, but the fact that they are improving themselves is good enough for them. So you understand what I mean?” I state.
Spike looks like he was thinking about what I said. Soon enough, he looked back at me. “Maybe you’re right. I think I should drop this. Hey, let’s get some di-“ Spike started to say. Right there we heard a loud crash and a shriek.
Acting quickly Twilight rushed to use and without any words we bolted for the sound. As we arrived, we saw in it’s glory an Ursa minor. Right as we were a few yards away I saw Trixie was about to be crushed by the ursa’s paw. Without a second thought I moved leaving behind an afterimage from my speed. What felt like minutes were seconds as I move Trixie and two unicorn colts. “Hey, are you three alright?” I asked.
After hearing the two colts stutter out a reply, I looked at Trixie. “W-why would you save me even after humiliating your friends?” she asked. She looked at the Ursa minor then at me.
“It’s my job to protect all of Equis. Princess’s orders. Beside everyone deserves a second chance don’t they?” I respond. As I looked back at the Ursa Minor, I saw Twilight moving the ursa to the Everfree Forest. “Hmmmm, seems that Shenron’s gift worked wonders for her stamina and magic usage.” I thought to myself. Getting back up, I moved to Twilight’s side to cheer her on.
When I got near her, I heard a sound like a growl. I looked around and saw the town was terrified. Looking where their line of sight pointed to I saw an Ursa Major barreling at us. But this one was different; it had a purple aura and red glowing eyes. Without hesitation I flickered at the Ursa Major, burying my leg into the bear’s torso.
Third pov
The ponies were terrified, even Gilda was. (not that she would admit it) Only hearing slight buzzing sound, they all looked at the Saiyan's position and saw a blurry image that dissipated. The next sound the town heard was a loud thud as they saw the saiyan kicking the Ursa Minor. The sight shocked many, as the saiyan seemed to do the impossible once again.
Archoke first pov
As my foot made contact with the celestial bear, I soon saw the pupils of it’s eyes flicker from how hard it was hit as it passed out. Making sure it was okay, I moved the bear to the Everfree. Coming back to the town I saw that Trixie had left. After landing I was swarmed by young colts and fillies all saying I was like some superhero. “Heh, a superhero huh? Nah I’m just your friendly Saiyan.” I state. My smile seemed to be contagious as I saw the girls smile to. As the fillies and colts dispersed the girls and I went home to sleep.

Archoke first pov

Location: Ponyville Town Square
Time: Noon
Man these last eleven days were something else, as Gilda left to visit Griffonstone to get her stuff to move here. At the beginning of it all, I found that I gained a little fan base with the colts and fillies around Ponyville. At the head was AJ’s little sister, Applebloom. She began to tell about my strength. I heard it rivaled Rainbow’s fan club. I was in the town square with Twilight and Spike because we wanted to take a walk. As we walked I was thinking about the most recent event. On one day the sky was filled with smoke clouds that came from a mountain. This happened right as I was training my students.
The day was going along with surprising amounts of ease. I was teaching them what I knew of the basics of kame style. The Saiyans felt as strong as Vegeta might with his scouter, while the others felt comparable to half of the saiyans. I was sparing with Rainbow, helping her work on her speed. It’s then that Twilight came over and asked for mine and the rest of the girls help. While the girls were getting ready, I was looking in my capsule case to see what entirely was in it. “let’s see, there are meat supplies that I’m halfway done with, some weighted clothing, a capsule house, and ...” I mutter before the girls get to me. “Oh, there you guys are. Ready?” I ask the group.
The girls gave me nods of approval before we left to the mountain. I looked at the mountain to see what kind of area is around the mountain. “So, does everypony have what they need? This trip will take a while.” Twilight inquired.
“That should be everything there Twi.” AJ said as she walked besides Pinkie. I noticed that most of the girls seemed a little out of place seeing as we’ll be conversing with a dragon. The only one who wouldn’t be is Rainbow for her not quite instantaneous movement. It’s then that a technique comes to my mind for travel. It may help to calm them down to get out in a jiffy. I began by putting my index and middle finger in my forehead and began to sense around the area. Oddly enough, I could sense the princesses in Canterlot castle.
“Hey Archie, what’cha doin’?” I heard Pinkie ask me. I opened my eyes to see Pinkie skipping in front of me. It took me some time to remember it's just Pinkie.
Remembering that she asked a question I looked back to her. “Nothing really, just seeing about a technique for speed. Or more accurately teleportation if this works out. But it’ll be a surprise for later, ok?” I inform Pinkie. Pinkie looks at me for a couple of seconds as she smiles wider.
“Okie dokie Archie!” Pinkie replied. I saw her catch up to the rest of the group at the mountain. The mountain looked a little smaller than at first glance.
Hearing their hooves make contact with the rocky surface told me we were moving. Deciding to get a better handle on my flight, I decided to float the way up. I looked at the surrounding area and I saw everywhere I've been. Shaking off my awe, I moved to catch up to the group. We made it halfway up the mountain, but that was interrupted by an avalanche. Thinking quickly, I use my Ki to expand and form it into an ‘energy dome’ and extend it while extending my arms. “This should hold. Everyone get close, this’ll take a while.” I instructed.
The girls all gathered around looking at the rocks that are sliding off the dome. I looked at the girls to gauge their reactions and saw them looking in shock. “Archoke, how in Equestria are you making a barrier with this much ease?” a frantic Twilight asked.
After waiting for the rocks to stop falling, I deactivated my Ki shield. I look at Twilight to answer her question before I’m cut off by Pinkie. “Oh Twilight that’s simple. He’s a saiyan. That means he can learn and mimic moves and techniques easier because saiyans learn in the heat of a situation.” She says smiling. Oddly enough, I heard a squeak from her smiling.
Everyone looked at Pinkie in confusion while I looked at her with hesitation on my face. “Y-yeah, that’s correct Pinkie. I’m surprised that you know that.” I confirm. I looked at the area to see the damages, before looking at the girls. “That was close. Let’s get going back to the trail girls.” I instruct. The girls mumbled their agreement about it since it was.
The path continued all the way until AJ and Fluttershy went a different route. Seeing as I could think more about the ‘Instant Transmission’ and how to use it. “Hmmmm. If I could get this to work, I would be that much more prepared for future problems.” I think to myself.
I put my first two fingers back to my forehead and tried to lock onto the princesses again. This time I thought of just appearing there and in an instant I appear in front of Celestia and Luna with a new addition of ki. The ki energy felt off, not like the princesses but not like Nightmares like it wasn't evil. “Aunty, who is the visitor?” the ‘new’ alicorn asked.
I turn to see who asked and see an all to familiar pony while keeping my worry and caution down. Remembering the task at hand, I forgot about the worrying energy. “Hey Tia, and Luna. I see your with your niece. Sorry for popping in unannounced but I was working on a new trick.” I state. I smiled in hopes of disarming the situation. It seemed to work.
I see Celestia and Luna looking at me slack jawed at me just teleporting in. They move to say something but as quick as I popped in I teleported back to the girls feeling Pinkie’s sporadic ki. Looking around it seems that no one noticed I was gone judging from the jump. They heard my popping back to reality and looked around, while Pinkie looked at me and waved. “Hey everypony, we made it back. Let’s get going.” I heard Applejack say.
Hearing her voice her, everyone moved up the mountain till we reached the top. At the top, the girls each tried to convince the dragon to move and each ended with failure. The moment Pinkie came out looking burnt, I saw Rainbow flying in and kicked the dragon. “Oh no.” I say exhausted. The dragon roared and soon Rainbow came tumbling out. I heard a hissing sound and turned to see fire racing to us. On instinct, I activated my energy dome to block the flames. When the flames stopped, I got into my battle stance incase a fight broke out.
“How dare you!” was the next thing I heard before seeing Fluttershy dash in front of me. The dragon flinched at her voice while I was shocked that my body flinched as well. I saw she started to talk to the dragon but the noise seemed to be blocked out as I was silently freaking out at how my body instinctively cowered away from Fluttershy’s ‘stare’. By the time I was brought out of my freak out session, the dragon was flying away. I looked away from my shaking hands to see the girls hyping up Fluttershy for standing up to a dragon. 'What just happened?' I thought to myself.
We all headed back to Ponyville to enjoy the rest of the day. I spent my day meditating on what happened. I didn’t get to far because Spike was making food before the night hit.
The days after that were nothing of note, but Twilight did have a slumber party while I took the saiyans out for training to push their pain tolerance. I bushed them to their limit, as I'm sure their now at least as strong a Frieza force member. The next day, I noticed that Gilda came back as she started to come to the training sessions. But now there was something about today that threw me off as the center of Ponyville was empty. Something in my mind was telling me this was important. My thoughts were interrupted as Pinkie grabbed us from the street. It’s then my mind clicks with what today is, the meeting of Zecora. “Hey Pinkie. I see that we’re all here, so what’s up?” I ask.
The current occupants of Sugar Cube Corner are the girls and Gilda along with Applebloom. The girls seemed startled by the circumstance, while Gilda and Applebloom were skeptical about the events. “Hey Archie! There’s some spooky enchantress from the Everfree. She’s here to put us in a trance.” Pinkie informs.
I look outside to see her out in the open. I looked back at the group and thought of something that could help the situation. I moved to the door, ignoring the calls of the group and went to greet the zebra. When I reached her, I began to wave to her and talk. “Hey there miss…” I start off.
Seeing that I was greeting her Zecora was introducing herself. “My name is Zecora sir. I would talk more but my presence here seems to cause a stir.” She greeted before nodding and walking off.
I heard the girls running to me to see if I’m ok. “Archoke, are you alright dear? That ghastly Zecora didn’t do anything to you, did she darling?” Rarity asked. I turned to them and had a puzzled look on my face.
“I’m alright Rarity. But the question is why are you all so skittish around Zecora?” I respond. The girls looked around at themselves before looking to me.
I saw Twilight had a spark of recognition in her eyes. “You saw her and thought that we would welcome her, didn’t you?” she asked in a little sorrow. The girls see me looking at them disappointed. They all look worried but I saw that their opinions still don’t move about her.
It’s then that AJ notices that Applebloom is gone. “Applebloom is gone! D’oh, she must have gone after Zecora. That silly filly gonna get herself hurt.” She exclaimed.
Moving fast we all move to the Everfree Forest. Seeing Applebloom nearing Zecora I heard AJ call out to her young sister. As we closed in I saw that everyone minus Spike, Gilda, and Applebloom stepped in a blue flower. I didn’t get much time to think of what they were as Zecora warned us about the plant. “Beware pony folk. Fore those plant are no joke.” She stated.
Looking down at the flowers, I recognize them as we all got out of the clearing. “Oh no. Poison Joke.” I sigh. The girls looked at me as if I knew what happened but we all decided to work on it tomorrow.
The next day
I woke up when something felt different. I struggled a little to get up as I sat on the couch. I got up and saw Twilight with her horn flopping around. She looked at me to say something but her jaw hung open when she saw me. “Hey Twi, what’s wrong?” I asked.
She looked at me as if I was some stranger before something seemed to click. “Is that you Archoke?” she asked me.
The way she asked told me that something was changed about my appearance. I nodded my head as I headed to the bathroom to get cleaned up. As I closed the door, I looked in the mirror and saw my old face. I was so shocked that I stumbled out of the room to Twilight. I saw all the girls in there. The moment they saw me they all got on the defensive.
The moment Twilight saw the reaction of the group she went into damage control. “Hang on don’t attack, it’s Archoke!” she yelled. The group looked to her and back at me with wide eyes.
I looked at them and sighed before moving to the couch. “Well this is crazy but I suppose the day I came here I should’ve expected this.” I commented before standing up. “This is what I looked like before coming here.” I informed before gesturing to myself. The girls looked at me before Pinkie bounced over and hugged me before moving back. Clearing my throat I moved to speak. “I think we should ask Zecora for help.” I say.
“Why would we need Zecora for the afflictions?” Twilight asked.
I remembered the girls didn’t notice the flowers as much as I knew. “She might know how to cure this joke. The cause were those blue flowers she was warning us about. And if not their probably in a book.” I answer. I stood and went to the Everfree to find Zecora. I arrived at the forest after hearing the girls discussing about Zecora.
I arrived at Zecora’s hut in a few minutes. I entered to ask for help and saw Applebloom talking with Zecora. Applebloom looked to see who entered before smiling. “Hey there mister Archoke! What’re you doin’ here?” Applebloom asked.
I looked at her as I smiled to speak. “Hey there Applebloom just came here for the cure for ‘Poison Joke’, that is if miss Zecora has it.” I answered before the girls rushed in.
“Applebloom! You’re in so much trouble filly!” I heard AJ yell. The girls seemed to form a protective circle around me and Applebloom. Seconds pass before I flicker in front of the circle and bow to Zecora.
“I apologize for my friends actions Zecora. Their usually more friendly than this.” I say. I looked back up to the girls to see them nervous.
I looked back at Zecora to see an amused smile at the past actions of me and my group. “It is no problem. I sense this friendship may blossom. If a cure is what you seek. Then let me provide a in a way most unique.” She informs as she gives me a list that had ingredients for the cure. I looked at the list and smiled at her with a thankful nod.
I looked back at my group with a serious look on my features. “You all behave while get the materials for the cure.” I instruct before dashing out the door.
Two hours later
It took a while but at the end of the search Zecora took us to the spa so she could have a large enough body of water to give to us. The girls took the jacuzzi while I just took a stall. The girls spent the rest of their time at the spa while I ended it after a while to train more.
After exiting, I saw Zecora outside and thanked her for her work. After Zecora voiced her appreciation for my words, I flew out to a small field to practice my battle stance and strikes. I practiced the Kame style so I could clear my head from what had happened. This continued to the night.
I ended up back at the library before the sun set. “That was the end to that adventure.” I whispered to myself as I laid on the couch in the library. With a smile on my face I left today for tomorrow.
Time skip: four months and two days
The last couple of months were wild. During the beginning bit of the autumn months there was a small problem that I maybe worse. The small problem became bigger thanks to the girls.
I was in ‘Sugar Cube Corner’ after Twilight came and asked me to help Mr. and Mrs. Cake for Tia’s visit. She also asked me to tell the saiyans to help around town. Raditz was more accepting of due to me training him instead of what ever Vegeta and Nappa used to do. He went to help decorate so he could show appreciation for a royal who ‘respect and knows the value of low-class saiyans’ as he says. While with Nappa, I had to pull the power card to get him to just lift objects.
I was busy with keeping Pinkie restrained while the Cakes worked. But that worked out as well as it could. It only stopped when Twilight barged in and scolded Pinkie. It was brought to a pause when we noticed Fluttershy coming in to show some creature. My thoughts were halted when I say the creature and my instincts took hold a slight bit. The girls saw as my palm raised with a yellow light showing from it, aimed at the insect. My instincts told me the thing was dangerous left unchecked, and so I aimed a blast at the creature. Everyone saw as the insect stopped and cowered before racing back to Fluttershy. I looked around to see the reaction from the room was of shock. Pinkie seemed to understand that I somewhat knew what it was based off of my reaction. Ending the blast and putting my hand in a familiar position I looked back at the girls with a serious face. “Why is that thing here!? Get rid of it!” I yelled at the group before flickering out and appeared at Zecora’s hut until I didn’t feel the thing there.
Zecora noticed my presence and looked puzzled before asking. “Hello my friend. What made you come here as if the world will end?” I looked at her with a troubled appearance.
Getting my words together, I answered her as blunt as possible. “Parasprites have been found near. Pinkie Pie seems to be taking care of the problem. So don’t worry, they should be gone by tomorrow.” I answered.
The look on Zecora told me she understood what I said and offered her hand to say an unspoken agreement. I took it and shook it. When releasing my grip, I held a list that was in Zecora’s writing style. “To stay in my hut, you have these to hunt.” The list held plant and fungus to get for potions. I stayed in the Everfree forest until nightfall looking for the ingredients.
Next day at noon
The next day I was planning to stay in the everfree before I noticed Twilight’s energy spike to almost triple, outputting a lot of power. I waved to Zecora before flickering into town square. The sight I saw was of carnage. I looked around and saw a swarm of Parasprites chasing after a familiar orange filly as she was holding a photo like a lifeline. Like lightning I was in front of the Parasprites and quickly unleashed a massive blast that rung out in the town. Everything stood stock still as even the pests turned to see me blast a swarm. All that was left was ash as it fell to the ground.
Without looking at the filly my voice rang out to her. “Get to safety. I’ll take care of these pest.” I stated. My voice echoed out as all could tell I was furious. Before anyone could move, I heard the sound of a ‘one-man band’. The next thing I knew, Pinkie was leading the pest from Ponyville in a parade while a few just hurried.
I began to relax as I turned to see a starstruck Scootaloo. “Oh my gosh! That was almost as cool as Rainbow Dash! Thank you!” she exclaimed. I saw the photo she was carrying was of her looking younger and a stallion and mare. They were hugging her as she smiled. She saw where my eyes were looking. She seemed to wilt as I looked back at her. It looked like she expected me to say something. Something told me this was a memento of the past.
“Come on kid, let’s go find your home.” My words seemed to calm her down as she smiled and dragged me off. We ended up somewhere near Rarity’s boutique. The house that Scootaloo walked up to seemed familiar as she knocked on the door.
The door opened to show two mares looking at Scootaloo before hugging her. They looked at her while she explained her day and pointed at the photo then me. The mares looked at me with an analytical eye before smiling and nodding. Scootaloo ran back to me before stopping in front of me. “W-would you mind training me like Rainbow Dash Mr. Archoke?” she asked while giving a puppy dog look.
I grimaced as this was just hard to not fall to. With a sigh, I slumped in defeat. “Alright, but this will be quite hard and there are no shortcuts to what I’m doing. I’ll start your training next year, so be ready.” I state. I saw her face light up like a star before she ran back inside the home. My smile brightened quite a bit to such enthusiasm. Before I walked back to the library. “I hope the kid knows what she wants.” I mutter to myself.
The air was crisp as I saw snow that reminded me of home before I came here. I was walking around to see what could be seen. As I started to hum a certain song, I managed to see ‘Sugar Cube Corner.’
At the counter was Pinkie and she seemed to be in a more cheery mood. I saw that she looked at me with a wide smile as if I told her a new recipe. “Heya Archie! Happy about the holiday?” she asked.
I smiled back as I waved to her. “No, just getting ready for a party for myself.” I answered.
The look on her spoke volumes about her thoughts. “Oh my gosh! A party! What’s the party about?!” she asked.
I wondered if she was thinking about helping me. Thinking it would be nice, I spoke up. “Oh nothing just my birthday. It’s no big deal.” I answered. I saw Pinkie gaping at as if I said sugar wasn’t good.
The next thing I heard was a deafening “WHAT!?” from her. In a burst of speed that I couldn’t keep up with, she bolted out the door before I could respond.
Not knowing what to do next I opted to go take a walk and train more. The day was spent getting my ki control to exact measurements. By the time I realized I was done the day finished. I was on my way back when I heard shuffling. Sensing for ki, I couldn’t figure out who was there as there were a lot. “Strange, but no matter. My party should be good in a couple of days.” I thought out loud.
By the time I got back to the library, the night was well underway. The next couple of days were filled with the ponies prepping something. Each time I tried to figure out what it was, they all just stopped what they were doing and sent me on my way.
The day I planned to celebrate came up after a week. The town was quiet when I walked out. The snow out was as white as flour. I decided to look around for what the town was up to. My first thought was to look from above, so I ignited my ki and started to float until I reached the sky. The town looked peaceful as if a paradise. My gazing lasted until I felt a flare of power at Sweet Apple Acres. Not knowing if it was a danger, I flew as fast as I could to where I felt it.
Getting there, I landed crouched before standing tall, looking back at the area I felt the power. What I saw stunned me. The entirety of Ponyville and the princesses were in a clear patch of grass. What surprised me more was Raditz was there looking like he was nervous. The princesses held a smile, while the towns ponies held awestruck expressions at my entrance. Princess Celestia was the one to break the silence with a chuckle. “My, was such an entrance necessary sir Archoke?” she asked.
My reaction at the jab was to blush and rub my head in embarrassment. “W-well Tia, I didn’t know if there was danger here. So I thought to drag attention to me for safety reasons.” I answered. The crowd laughed at my reaction as they saw the logic in it.
After the crowd quieted down the next thing said was a loud “Happy Birthday Archoke!” from them. The volume of all there managed to knock me on my back. Getting back up, I saw the ponies looking embarrassed at the volume.
Looking around I saw the towns ponies cared for what I believed was me. My face settled down into a smile that was the most genuine in a while. “Thank you all for this.” I said. The ponies looked at me and my smile seemed to bring a light heartedness to them as they smiled.
I heard a filly whisper “That smile feels like a hero's.” causing me to laugh. Looking around I feel like I’m home for the first time since I got here.
The ponies around all cheered as the princesses started the celebration. Deciding to make this a real party, I charged a blast in my hand before lobing it in the air. I saw the ponies look on confused. Even the princesses were curious. Deciding to start it on my own accords, I raised my hand at the ki ball and made it explode like a fire work. Looking back I saw nothing but looks of awe and amazement. “Sir Archoke, you seem to know how to liven a celebration don’t you?” I heard Luna ask.
Facing her, I smiled before I was swarmed by all the fillies and colts asking about me. Some were asking about what I could do while others asked how I know the princesses. After a while the younger ones calmed down for the day. The air held a jolly feeling about it, like it did back home. I looked around and saw the one thing I never thought I would see. A photo of my family all together for a picture.
Rushing at it, I didn’t notice the crowd that formed around me. I stopped a couple feet before it. I took a couple of hesitant steps towards the image. I grabbed the photo before looking at it in full view. I held the photo in my hands before a hand was on me. I turned and saw Luna looking sheepishly smiling. “I may have gone into your memories and saw these creatures and thought you would know them. I figured that you would not mind seeing them again. D-do you like it?” she asked.
Looking at her, the crowd saw something they never thought they would see from my normally cool exterior. I started to cry tears of joy before I rushed in and hugged her as I trembled. I held on like she was a lifeline. “Thank you.” I whispered trying not to shutter from the emotions. This seemed to catch her of guard as I felt her flinch. Letting her go, I saw the ponies in shock from my actions. I wiped away the tears so I could address Luna properly. “You’ve given me the best thing I could get; I can now at least see my old family. You have my eternal thanks, Princess Luna.” I answered.
Backing away I saw the crowd still shellshocked at my display. I chuckled at the situation that I accidently created. “That’s not all sir Archoke. My sister and I got something else to give you. It’s to show you something that we hope to see.” Celestia informed. I looked and saw a box in the Princesses auras. Turning to see what’s in the box, I took it and opened it. I saw an exact replica of my Time Patrol armor, but with a minor detail change. The Time patrol symbol was the symbol of the two sisters. I smiled but said nothing.
I took the armor out and placed it above the one I was wearing already and to my surprise the two merged. I saw everyone looking at me with flabbergasted looks clear on their faces. The princesses were looking at my shocked expression and just smiled. “This is perfect. I can’t ask for another thing. Thank you all.” I stated. I smiled wider than ever before and saw the others follow suit. It soon turned to a band of merriment as music was playing and everyone ate. We all play games and others told stories.
Seeing an opportunity for a story of my own, I decided to tell of Goku's beginning. Right as I got to the first tragedy of old man Gohan the crowd was already in tears. Many were sympathetic about Goku's beginning. The story picked up as the mention of Goku's power pole was first mentioned. I was careful as to not mention the dragon balls so the ponies didn't get any ideas remembering Shenron's warning. As I went to the area of a certain blue imp, the crowd was drawn in as I told the climax. The party lasted till the sisters changed the day to night.
The day ended with me, Twilight, and Spike going to sleep but I was the only one up. Siting up on the couch I was sleeping on I looked to the stars before I look back at the photo of my family and let loose a tear. “Please be safe mom. Stay strong so I can see you again at least one more time. I promise to see you again.” I whisper. Clearing my eye I laid down before sleeping with my words ringing in my head and a smile appeared.
