> Rainbow Factory: Dangerous Experiment > by DangerDean > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Escapade > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spheris was not really well know for anything it manufactures, but it is know was for it’s Rainbow Factory which was built less than a year ago. Even though it doesn’t look suspicious in it’s exterior, the interior leaves a fate that should never be sealed for anyone. Many of it’s test subjects had turned normal human beings into pawns of one skilled scientist, Rainbow Dash for her own gain. Rainbow wore a black lab coat that reached to her thighs teamed with a belt. She also wore black pants which it’s legs were rolled up to her knees to accommodate her boots. Her irises were crimson red because ever since she joined the factory, she was exposed to a type of energy that no other city had access to. Spectra energy. This type of energy fuels anyone who comes into contact with it and it causes a visage of horror and feelings of anger, anguish, dread and hatred on anyone or anything that seemed appropriate to them. She walked across the corridor to where lab primary lab is. Lab RD0001. The worst lab for anyone. But in Rainbow the ideal testing ground to fuel the 6 tubes of the Spectra Device. She knew that her latest test subject was waiting for her, shackled by the arms, legs and by the chest in a snow angel position. For it to be a surprise to her, the subject’s head it’s covered by a gas mask that blocks vision. One of the many scientists in her group came to her. “Rainbow, test subject 1883384 is ready to be examined.”He said. “Good. Time for me to make the most of my tools of torture waiting to be injected into him.” She headed inside her lab and found that the examination had her subject she noticed crimson-coloured wrists and when she took off the mask… The subject was none other… than Danger Dean. “Hello, test subject… I’ve been waiting for this moment of so long and you will feel the power of the Spectra energy.” Rainbow said. “Dashie, there’s been a gigantic administrative cock-up. Some of your staff have somehow mistaken me for someone else.” Danger said, trying to not think he was in danger at all. Rainbow paused. “No, you were chosen for this experiment, because… the Sonos Mechanicus needs your blood to fuel my ultimate machine back in Aros City… the Spectra Mechanica.” She said, in a slightly darker tone. Danger tried to decipher what Rainbow said, but to no avail. “None of what you said in these last ten seconds made any sense to me whatsoever.” Danger said. “Also… you planning to use my own blood the power a machine that’s basically a car I would create back in Danger City.” “Danger, you don’t see the point.” Rainbow said, going increasingly evil by the second. “The machine needs it and in order to achieve this feat… I’m gonna have to draw a line on you and extract as much blood from you as possible.” Danger then thought of something. “Dash, couple of things.” Danger began. “Firstly, you’re not really the best scientist for this project and consequently, cutting me in two would mean a big mess you to clean and it could spell fatality in my eyes. Secondly, I wouldn’t trust you to open up a can of sardines that was already open. Thirdly, I can’t see anything that will cut any part of my body open… and lastly, I’ve never been partial to physical torture.” Danger tried to break the arm restraints but was unsuccessful. “I be back to get what I need out of storage in the bottom floor since you spotted nothing to take the blood out you.” Rainbow announced as she was leaving the room. “I hope you don’t leave the facility because I will warn you… if a soul enters the Rainbow Factory, the soul never escapes the Factory.” Ten seconds after Rainbow left, in a sudden surge of strength, Danger managed to break of both the arms and leg restraint. He was free from the shackles and he found an air vent he could get up and escape. He then grabbed his phone to call for help and put his watch on his wrist to map out his escape. He then used all of his strength to climb from the vent and proceeded horizontally. To make it looked like nothing happened, Danger put the vent cover back in it’s original place. He didn’t have to worry about making a noise because the factory made a cacophony of horror sounds in the other rooms that smothered the noise his own movements. I may have won the first battle of this shit-fest. Danger thought to himself. If I can find way to the top of the building, I may be able to ask Sonic for aerial recovery. Rainbow re-entered her lab to find that Danger had disappeared. “What happened?” Rainbow said to herself as she looked around the lab, she then looked upwards to find nothing. “I think that sneaky Danger must have walked out of the lab, better be making a search around the building.” Meanwhile in Danger City. While Danger was executing his escapade, Sonic Flash, one of Danger best pals was chilling in the penthouse suite of the Legion of Speedfreaks Headquarters organizing some files on his tablet. He was just finishing off one of the folders and by the time he did this, his phone rang and it was Danger. “Sonic here.” Sonic answered. “Sonic, it’s your pal, Danger and I think I ran into a bit of a problem.”Danger said. “How big of a problem are we talking, Danger?” Sonic asked. “Does the words ‘stuck in the Rainbow Factory’ scream at you by any chance?” Danger stated. “Does your response ring in the form of A, ‘Danger, you utter muppet’ or B, ‘Danger, you utter muppet? I suddenly realised that I said same question but it was so good it was worth mentioning twice!” “Why is it when something stupid happens it always involves you, Danger?” Sonic asked again more sternly “Believe me, Sonic. I’ve been asking myself the same question for the last 12 years.” Danger replied, referring to another madwoman he had a history with. “Where are you, Danger?” “The Rainbow Factory in Spheris.” “That sounds like you in a bigger pile of shit than I thought. How am I gonna get you out of there?” Sonic wondered. “If we go on road, we’re fucked because they’ll spot me from on the windows. If we go by air, they’ll probably think it’s dropping of more that machine parts of this Sonos Mechanicus or whatever the fuck it’s called.” Danger said. “Air it is then, I looked on the aerial of the Rainbow Factory and there is a helipad on the roof I think I can land a helicopter there and transport you to safety.” Sonic announced. “OK Sonic, does the Legion of Speedfreaks Headquarters have a helipad?” Danger asked. “Sure does.” Sonic replied. Danger breathed a sigh of relief. “When I’m back, we gonna have to do some research on the Sonos Mechanicus and the Spectra Mechanica. Stupid names.” Danger announced. “OK, call me when you see the helipad!” “Will do, bye,” > Aerial Recovery Part 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- While Danger was escaping through the air vents, Rainbow was wondering where her ‘experiment’ went off to. She thought that surely he hadn’t escaped through the door. He would have spotted by her if he didn’t play his cards right. The other painful truth was that she can’t detect any movement that Danger made because of the other experiments in the other corridors. “He has to come back to me now, the Rainbow Blood syringe is waiting to be emptied into his bloodstream, I will make sure of that.” Rainbow voice turned more dark by the second. “It seemed he wants to free me from the power of Spectra energy. But he will fail… no matter how hard he tries.” Rainbow grabbed her syringe and placed in a small box she kept in her left pocket and walked out of her laboratory. She headed towards a secret room where only herself has access to. A room filled to the brim with Rainbow Blood-fuelled tranquilizer guns. She grabbed about four of them and put them in her right pocket and went on the mission to locate Danger. Danger knew from the very beginning that Rainbow was on the move and he was running low on time. He looked on his phone and found that Rainbow was about 13 doors behind and that the distance between each of them was 6 meters. He had to come up with a genius idea if he didn’t want any incompatible with is bloodstream. Two minutes later, he found a t-junction and headed right for about thirty seconds .If Danger kept on traversing the direction he was in, it meant that the vents got darker and that also meant the corridors were pitch back. He decided to open the vent lid and found that he was in storage room 40 and that getting down was be a viable option for him. “If Rainbow find me, I’m basically fodder for the terror that may be unleashed.” Danger said to himself. “Here goes nothing.” Danger looked to see if any other scientists would spot him. Nobody saw him. Danger got down and found a small container and used this for cover. He decided to wait until Rainbow had past the storage corridor. He used his phone to track were Rainbow was. She was only 1 door away from the storage room and that the Rainbow Blood was calling his name. If I can find a elevator somewhere, I may be able to go to the top floor of this nightmare. Danger thought to himself. But like to thought to myself earlier when I went into air vents… They won’t hear any other voices, apart from the cacophony of horrors that become a usual occurrence in this hellhole. Rainbow wasn’t paying any attention to the storage rooms and was only focusing on the corridor itself. She then went left towards an elevator which would take her to the main camera room so she can detect the cameras scattered around the building. Danger realised that the cameras weren’t active yet and he could be spotted in seconds if they were online. A miracle would be more than needed for Danger as his time was running. Then… the elevator that Rainbow was going to use was out of order. This also signalled Danger’s time to move. He opened the door and that corridor and no signs of scientists. Danger dodged another bullet and that couldn’t have come at better time for him. He could see an elevator and unlike the one Rainbow went to, it was operational. So Danger took every opportunity necessary to go inside and pressed the bottom for top floor. Rainbow became uneasy every passing second and that can’t find Danger anywhere. It seemed to Rainbow that Danger had escaped the Factory which contradicted the statement: ‘No soul escapes from the Rainbow Factory.’ With her Rainbow Blood syringe starting to lose colour by the next 10 minutes. She found the nearest operational elevator and by the pressed the button for the bottom floor, which was where she thought Danger would be, trying to overload the Sonos Mechanicus. Danger was already on the top floor and trying to find the staircase that leads to the roof of the building. The door has to be somewhere around here and for the life of me… I can’t figure out where the hell it is. Danger thought to himself. Twenty second later, he decided to give Sonic Flash a call. A few seconds later, back at Danger City, Sonic heard his phone go off again. “I assume you’re stuck, right, Danger?” Sonic said. “How did you figure that out?” Danger asked. “From the looks of what I can see on my laptop… is you seem to be about 24 doors away from the staircase… try not to get caught by the scientists and doctors.” Sonic told him. “Sonic… the top floors are quite empty and from my knowledge… no one really uses them.” Danger interjected. “Really? Why do you think that would be the case?” Sonic asked. “My best guess is all scientists in this factory always go to the underground floors.” Danger replied. “I think that’s where the Sonos Mechanicus is, from what I can gather from all of these classified files I’m looking.” Sonic concluded. Then Danger instantly thought of something. “Sonic, have you hacked into the data files?” Danger asked. “Definitely might have accidently hacked into their files.” Sonic replied. “OK, then I got to get out of here ASAP it looks like. You better get the helicopter ready because I’m running out of time.” Danger ordered. “Will do, Danger. Sayori Blitz will keep you updated.” Sonic complied. “Who?” Danger asked with defeat in his voice. “Sayori, one of your friends.” Sonic said, reminding him. “Oh, her!” Danger realised. “Did you forgot who she was?” Sonic then asked him. “Of course not, I thought you would give any updates as to where Rainbow is. Also, I would like to talk to her about something. “I’ll put her on whenever I see her.” Sonic announced. “OK, Sonic.” Danger said. “Also, one thing, Danger.” Sonic added. “Make sure you open any doors very gently so you don’t get detected.” Danger sighed in disgust. “Sonic, the last time I opened a door gently, there was a human-sized piñata in the room… and it’s not even the 5th of May yet! I’m not falling for that again, gave me three days worth of nightmares.” “So you want to open the door your way, which is using anything to break open the door, run through the remains of what used a door then waiting for the helicopter to arrive?” Sonic asked. “Basically.” “OK, then. I just saw Sayori enter the room so… I will let you cause chaos.” Sonic said. “See you that the platform.” After Danger ended the call. Sonic focused his attention on Sayori Blitz. Sayori Blitz was one of Danger’s infinite number of friends with a pink natural colour, red-tinted rose hairstyle similar to Twilight Sparkle but shorter. Her attire consisted of a red and lavender striped shirt with a number 43 in the centre and a black leather jacket over it. She was also wearing tight blue denim jeans with a belt and lavender sneakers. “What do you want me for, Sonic.” Sayori asked. “I think giving Danger updates on where the scientists are telling him where Rainbow is. She is not feeling too well.” Sonic said with a moment of concern “Why?” “We’ll explain all of this once Danger is back at HQ. In the meantime, I better get the helicopter ready.” Sonic announced. > Aerial Recovery Part 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- No idea what Sayori’s got in her brain, but if it’s key to get me out of this thing then… I guess I gotta trust what both Sonic and Sayori suggest but I ain’t doing this quietly. Danger thought to himself as walked to the door to lead him to the staircase which would take him to the roof of factory. But a split second later, Danger went into the one of the lab rooms, Lab RD0475 to be exact, to loot anything he sees. Unfortunately, it was all what Danger figured would be a laboratory, vials, syringes, chemicals and several boxes of Rainbow Blood. Then… Danger heard a voice. He quickly hid between on of the 3 meter tall boxes so he wouldn’t get spotted. “How many more subjects shall we send to Prisma Shredder?” One of the laboratory workers said. Prisma Shredder? What’s that? Dnnger thought to himself. “Well, Rainbow wanted three more to send their deaths. But there’s one she wanted to send for a while but she didn’t get the chance to,” another scientists said. “it’s gonna haunt her for hours.” “Who is it?” “Danger Dean.” What?! Rainbow was going to send me to this Prisma Shredder all this time! So THIS is the experiment all along! She was going to firstly… insert the syringe into me and take a sample of my blood, run it through the Sonos Mechanius to see it’s pure, then if my blood wasn’t up their standards, she would shred my body into a thousand pieces so my blood would be used for the Spectra Mechanica to purify it! I better tell Sonic this sooner or later. Danger thought as the horror was like a stab in the back. “Well, a tranquilized patient will be remain here until the Prisma Shredder is available,” the first laboratory worker announced. “OK, but it will be another two hours gets his demise served to him,” said the other laboratory worker while wheeling in the tranquilized patient. Who is this? Danger thought. “I better get back to Rainbow, you better come with me or you’ll be sent into the Shredder.” “Of course, how I could let her down.” After the two scientists left the lab, with the door locked. Danger slammed his fists on the floor. Dammit! They locked the door on the outside and I can’t get out. Then, Danger went to the patient that was covered from shoulders to feet in a white blanket and strapped up four times. He gathered the patient was female but of the Twilight-style hair she had. He knew it wasn’t Crimsonia because she was on holiday in Velocity City with her sister, Azura for two weeks. It couldn’t be Blazing Lionfire because she had red eye-shadow. The patient did have eye shadow, but not red. It was purple. None of Danger’s friends had purple eye shadow (that he knew of, anyway). Her hair was similar to Sonata’s tail but in light purple, white and pink Maybe I could ask her for advice. Danger thought to himself. But she’s basically a slumbering dragon with 20 tonnes of precious metals. Is there anything that would extract the tranquilizer fluids out of her bloodstream. After finding a syringe, Danger decided to do something which gave him flashbacks to when he was filtering water from one of his own cars back in Danger City. He was going to hopefully extract the tranquilizer out of her. To make life easier for himself, he put on a lab coat to protect his shirt, coloured red with his insignia in a white silhouette. After a long time extracting, Danger managed to somehow extract all of the blood that has been mixed with the tranquilizer fluids out of the girl’s body and… her eyes opened. “Please, Dash! Please! Please don’t send to the Shredder! I got my sister to look after!” The girl spoke in a worried and pleading tone. “Calm down. It’s alright.” Danger said, trying to ease the tension. “Please! Don’t do this to me!” She sobbed. “It’s alright. You’re safe with me. Trust me!” Danger put his hand on her shoulder. The girl took a good look at Danger and started calming down. “Sorry, I’m just worried about Rainbow sending me to the Shredder. She looked like there was something wrong with her.” The girl apologised. Then, 3 seconds later, she remembered something. “Who are you?” She asked. “Danger Dean,” he replied, “I’ve come to rescue you and I’ve been in a similar situation you were in about 25 minutes earlier” “I’m Anna Crystalis.” She said trying to get out of her straps. “Anna, don’t waste your energy.” Danger placed his hand on her shoulder again. Danger unstrapped her in about 30 seconds and when he finished untying the last strap, Anna hugged Danger for saving her. “Your safe now, Anna… Why don’t you get yourself on the roof of the laboratory and wait for Sonic’s helicopter. 20 minutes later, Rainbow was looking on the top floor of the building and she found that Anna had escaped. Rainbow was shocked by this and searched around the room to find her. Nothing. Not even her clothes were left in the room as she put them on after Danger told her to wait on the roof of the building near the helipad. Her lips quivered as she realised that she may have escaped. Then she heard a voice from behind her back. It was Danger’s. “Looking for someone?” Danger asked. Rainbow jumped and anger portrayed her face. “YES!” Rainbow hissed, while pulling out her Rainbow Tranquilizer gun. “Yessssss. I am looking for patients that have escaped, you are one aren't you? I am not gonna ask again, are you a escaped patient or not?” “I may or may not be.” Danger said, not full of confidence. “Hmm, well if you are not a escaped patient you wont mind if I do this, won't you?” Rainbow asked, aiming the tranquilizer at his chest. “Or maybe you are gonna be able to convince me that you aren’t a escaped patient, because if that’s the case I won't hurt you.” Rainbow walked closer to Danger “Dashie... your mind as been corrupted... please snap of it! This is not you Rainbow.” Danger pleaded. “I AM TOTALLY ME! I AM EXACTLY ME! I am Rainbow Dash, I am a worker in the Rainbow Factory and I am a psycho that likes to see you in the Prisma Shredder and make sure everyone and I mean EVERYONE will not escape the factory, is that clear?” Rainbow asked like she was the Rainbow Factory’s manager. “Dashie... seriously! Do you really want to send someone to the Shredder who liked you. Someone who liked you for over decade and been there when I was in dire straits.” Danger said, trying to undo the effects of the Spectra Energy manipulating her body. “Are you seriously trying to guilt trip and manipulate a psychopathic killer like me?” Rainbow asked, getting closer to Danger.” YOU ARE A ESCAPED PATIENT! YOU ARE NOT A FRIEND! YOU ARE A ESCAPED PATIENT THAT I WOULD RATHER NOT HAVE AROUND ME! NOW BACK AWAY OR YOU WILL GET SENT TO THE SHREDDER!” The venom in her voice was too much for Danger to handle. His friend… his best friend was not the Rainbow he knew too well. Whatever the Spectra Energy did to her was too much for his brain to cope. “I can't believe a person that LIKED me ESCAPED the Rainbow Factory!” Rainbow spat out with venom in her voice again. “RAINBOW PLEASE!” Danger begged but in a split second, his voice turned to hostility. “THIS IS NOT YOU! THE SPECTRA ENERGY CLAIMED YOU AND REPLACED THE RAINBOW I KNEW WITH… THIS!” “Are you gonna back away or am I gonna need to get drastic? Well? I am waiting for you to take your decision... I don't like to waste time...” Rainbow asked, readying her tranquilizer. “BACK AWAY OR GET CRUSHED BY THE SHREDDER!” Danger weighed his options thoroughly.
