Let me tell you my name, It's El gato con botas which stands for Puss in Boots. Before I met the ogres Shrek and Fiona I was a bandito(Bandit) an outlaw. But I was wrongly accused, you see I was betrayed by my hermano(brother) Humpty Dumpty. Because of that ese blanceo(That Egg) I had to abandon my home. After my recent adventure of finding the golden egg laying goose, I had saved my home, but lost a hermano(Brother). For a few brief moments he was my old hermano(brother) again.*sniff*I miss him even to this day.
But I digress, I am straying off tema(topic). Let me tell you of how my story begins. It was like any other day in the desert; I rode my noble steed across it fleeing from guards, bounty hunters, soldiers, and even little girls. But on this day I discovered a new world, the world of Equestria. When I discovered this new world, I was in a chasm by the mountains. What I didn't know, was that the chasm was once a temple to some random sun god. There were many treasures in the temple. I wish I had taken some, for then I would be a very rich kitty.
While I was in the temple I found an artifact, It looked like a golden Pegasus but had a horn on it's head. I touched the artifact not knowing what it would do for it did nothing. I had decided to take the artifact for it would fetch a very good price. While I was exiting the temple My caballo(Horse) was gone and was replaced by a ethereal Pegasus with a horn on it's head it was muy hermoso(Handsome). I pondered whether this artifact had replaced my caballo(horse) with this Pegacorn. A mix between a unicorn and a pegasus. I decided to put the idea aside and go home. I was reluctant at first but the pegacorn was indifferent to my approach.
I then got up on it's back and prepared my self for a wild ride. The pegacorn just stood there and then turned around and trotted slowly. I tried making the pegacorn go faster but it just trotted slowly. I knew there would be some time before I get home so I decided to take a nap. I should not have though for when I woke I was in a forest with dense tree's. And I found a circular golden medallion around my neck with a ruby center. I marveled at the medallion then I noticed someone had stolen my Golden Pegacorn statue. Along with my Golden Pegacorn horse. I was outraged, I was hysterical, I was completely unaware of where I was. Was I even in mehico anymore? Regardless of where I was, I still had one goal to prove my Innocence in this new land so that all of its people will know that Puss in Boots was not a bad Gato(Cat).
I had wandered for days in the forest not knowing of where I was going. It was beginning to become nightfall and it seemed to add more scariness to the already spooky forest. But I was El Gato Con Botas(Puss in Boots) I feared nothing. I pressed onwards, after a half hour of walking I saw light in the distance. Finally I reached civilization, it looked like a celebration was going on when I reached the center of town I saw and thought my eyes are deceiving me. Everywhere throughout the whole town I saw colorful Ponies. Ponies that seemed to be able to talk, now granted I have met a guy who knows a gato(cat) who knows a perro(dog) who knew a talking horse. But I thought that was just them being silly. But now here was the proof that they needed for talking horses, they were absolutely derecho(right).
As I wandered into the town I was very sneaky for I didn't know if they would try and trample me. I stuck to the shadows like a thief would during a theft. As I wandered I had noticed some of these ponies were Pegaso(Pegasus) and some where unicornio(Unicorn). As expected the Pegaso(pegasus) flew, but what surprised me was that the unicornio(unicorn) did magic. Now I was wary, being a cat in a village of talking colorful ponies was nerve racking. And the ponies seemed to have tattoos of objects on both of their flanks for some reason. Though that didn't matter for when I was peeking out of my hiding spot I was engulfed in a green magical glow. Suddenly I was lifted into the air, still engulfed in the magic green glow.
Before I knew it I was brought before a lime green unicorn with a white stripe in her mane and a lyre tattoo on her flank. And a cream colored pony with dark blue and a pink streak mane, the pony also had three candy looking treats on her flanks. Then they began to speak to each other.
"Bonbon doesn't this cat just look cool!" She stared at me with an ecstatic face. I noticed that her horn glowed the same as the green glow that engulfed me as well. Her companion was not as ecstatic.
"I don't know Lyra, why would anyone dress a cat in boots and a hat?" I was about to say something but was Interrupted by her friend.
"Well I don't care who dressed him all I care about is how cool he looks." I was starting to like this mare I thought, but her companion was about to do the most heinous act you can do to me.
"Well I am gonna take his boots off it isn't right to force an animal to wear clothes." She then bit on the end of my boot and began to pull it off. As she pulled I began to panic because my precious boots were about to be taken from me. I still had control of my other boot and used it to kick her straight in the face. She staggered to the ground in pain, her friend let me go to aid her friend and I fell like a rock.
"OH MY GOSH Bonbon are you OK?"
"Yea But that cat won't be in a minute." She began to stare at me with anger. I got up and dusted off the recently acquired dirt on my fur.
I then stood up on my two back legs like I usually do, and then I pointed my finger at the would be thief and said.
"NO ONE STEAL'S MY BOOTS AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!" Then they both stared at me with awe for I had obviously talked to them, but these two weren't the only Ponies that got my attention. For I was suddenly surrounded by ponies everywhere. And I had blown my cover as a normal cat, this was not going well for me at all.
So there I was surrounded yet again by enemies, though these enemies were not really trying to harm me per say they still made me uncomfortable. I had hoped that I *Loud crashing noise* hold on there seems to be another bar fight again. *Open door* HEY WILL YOU ALL KEEP IT DOWN I'M TRYING TO TELL A RELATO (story) HERE. *Slams door and walks back to sit down*
So anyway where was I? Oh yes I had been discovered by the whole town of ponies. Nothing could have been prepared for what I was about to endure next. That moment where I was swarmed by hooves feeling me and my tail being tugged and asked questions of what am I and how can I talk, horrifying to say the least. At that moment I felt this was the end, was this how I was going to die. As I saw my vision being blurred an angel came down from the heavens and rescued me. At that point I had fainted and all I could see was yellow wings.
When I woke from my stupor I was in a rather comfortable bed. There was also a rabbit looking over me, he seemed mad. When he saw the first signs of my awakening he started jabbing my face with his little paw, then he spoke to me.
"Hey LAZY! Get up from Fluttershy's bed and go find your own." I looked at him with weary eyes, I did my usual stretch as all cats do when they wake up. Then kicking off my blankets I noticed my boots were missing. First thing I did was pick up the rabbit by his shoulders and shoved him to a wall and asked.
"WHERE ARE MY BOOTS you thieving rodent!?"
He tried to push me off of him but I held him in place and he replied.
"I don't know what you are talking about, and your a cat CATS don't wear boots." I shoved him to the wall again and said.
"You have obviously never heard of me then for I go by many names... Names like Diablo Gato (Devil cat), The Furry Lover, Chupa Cabra, Frisky Two Times and The Gingerhead man. But to most I am Puss in Boots, outlaw!" He just smirked and retorted.
"More like Puss in no boots." Chuckling after his own joke I have had enough of him. Extending my thumb claw out he still cracked jokes at me. "Ooh-hoo-hoo real scary what next you gonna purr at me." I extend my index claw as I counted down."I've fought dogs with more bite than you." Now extending my middle claw he started to get nervous."Whats wrong too chicken to bring out all of your claws?" Extending my final two claws he quickly blurted out."Please don't hurt me I haven't seen your boots at all I was just looking out for my owner. She gets super shy around ponies and I aint usually there to help her."
I looked at him questioningly.
"Do I look like a pony to you? I am a Gato. Now tell me where I can find this Fluttershy I have questions that need answers." At the mention of this name the rabbit was more braver than ever. He headbutted me causing me to stagger I quickly retaliated by pouncing on him. We were both deadlocked in fearsome combat, our swords clanged and clashed our armor taking scars from each swing of our swords. The fearsome rain pouring on our *interrupted by you leaving your seat*. HEY WAIT I aint done with the story yet *You prepare to walk out the door* Fine fine I'll tell the real version of the story, just sit down *You sit back down* Ok what really happened was this, even though my version is better. He started biting me while I clawed, at him after a minute of fighting the yellow angel appeared.
While we fought she tried to stop us with her soothing voice. I would have stopped fighting but the rabbit was persistent. He bit my tail causing me to squeal out of pain. Another Pony came into the room this one was lavanda (lavender) colored. She was like that one lime green unicorn named Lyra, using her magic she separated me from the rabbit and levitated me over to her.
"GET BACK HERE YOU CONEJO (Rabbit) I AM NOT DONE WITH YOU YET." I said at the rabbit while I floated away.
"I think you need to calm down and give us some answers." The lavender pony said to me. While I was floating in front of her, I had only one thing up my arsenal to escape. I closed my eyes and then I opened them and stared at her I stared at her and she said "AWWWWW." And she let me go out of her magic.
I landed on my feet and was prepared to run when the heavenly yellow pegasus scooped me up and spoke words to me like a baby.
"OH you poor kitty you must feel just terrible." She put me in her bed again and I replied.
"Well uh, cats don't usually like being..." Then the Lavender unicorn interrupted me.
"Fluttershy I need to talk to this cat." The angel pony known as Fluttershy then retorted.
"I'm sorry Twilight but this cat needs his rest, I can't let you speak to him until he is more comfortable in this environment." She then pushed her out of the room. "Once he is all better then you can speak to him." The Unicorn named twilight was out of the room and about to say something.
"But I." Fluttershy closed the door on her and turned back to me.
"Oh I hope you do feel better mr, um... What should I call you?" She asked. I answered by telling her my name.
"you can call me Puss in boots. Which brings me to my question. Where are my boots and hat along with my medallion?" She quickly replied
"Oh well your hat and boots are at Rarity's being fixed but your medallion is with Twilight. She said she wanted to study it. If You want I can go get it for you." I quickly asked about my boots and hat.
"Might I ask why my boots and hat need fixing?"
"Well when you were being mobbed some ponies ripped your hat and boots by accident. After I saved you I asked Rarity to fix them. I was going to leave your medallion with you but Twilight insisted that she study it." She put the covers over me and tucked me in."Now you rest Mr. Puss in Boots you need all your rest." I was about to ask her about herself but she kissed me on the forehead and went outside. I then slept the night away and dreamed the dream of cats.
It was start of a brand new day, for me however it was a day of tristeza (sadness). Yesterday I was assaulted by question's, pulling of my limbs and fur, and my beloved hat and boots that was given to me by my dear momma may have been torn asunder. I awoke with weary eyes, the morning sun rising and blessing me with it's rays of warmth. I'd go back to sleep if it weren't for the repeated thumping of a annoying rodent. Not able to stand his incessant thumping anymore I shot my head up from my bed and shouted.
"WHAT!" He stared at me with his beady little eyes then asked me as nicely as he could be with sarcasm.
"Oh I'm sorry I woke you but my owner Fluttershy wanted me to check on you. And I figured it's the start of a brand new day that I should wake you so you don't miss it." I rolled my eyes and my ears twitched in annoyance, I hopped out of bed crawling on all fours when I was by him I feigned an attack and he was instantly scared. While he scampered off I chuckled to myself into the other room. With a Fluttershy wondering what I was laughing about. She asked
"What's so funny?" I told her.
"Just an inside joke I remembered."
I headed to a nearby table where I saw a bowl of Leche (milk). I presumed it was for me and she was feeding me something to eat. Instinct took over and I happily drank the milk away like any other cat. She sat down at the table as well with what I assumed was her breakfast. I didn't know at the time what ponies ate so I didn't really care.
After our breakfast was concluded I decided to thank my gracious host.
"Thank you Ms. Fluttershy the leche was delicioso." She smilied at me and said.
"Your welcome Mr. Boots." As she took our dishes I went to explore her house. After exploring her house I smelled a rat. I turned in the direction of the supposed rat. It was actually a mouse, he was eating a piece of cheese, cheddar I think. I began to have thoughts of eating this mouse, I was still hungry after all.
I believe for this next part instinct took over cause before I knew it he was in my mouth begging for me to let him go. I never really thought about giving compassion to a mouse before. Before I could react how ever Fluttershy the Angel pony heard the squeaks of the mouse, and immediately came to his aid.
"YOU SPIT HIM OUT RIGHT NOW!" She yelled. She put me in a quick Heimlich and squeezed me. I coughed up the mouse and he scurried away. Fluttershy however didn't see me spit him up and continuously repeated the Heimlich. It continued seven more times until I bellowed out.
"He's OUT HE'S OUT!! PLEASE STOP!!!"
She said a quick Oh sorry and placed me down on the ground. I put my paw to my heart and breathed heavily. After I got my breath she said another sorry and patted my back. After that ordeal I asked if we can go see this rarity friend of hers. She said sure but she wanted to put a disguise on me. I questioned what this disguise was and she told me it was a box called a cat carrier. I was reluctant at first to get in the box but she told me it would help with the many ponies not question me. With my hat and boots waiting I got in the box and she reassured me that she will take great care of me. I purred in agreement and we were off.
Twilight Sparkle's Third person Pov
Last night Twilight Sparkle was Studying a gold Medallion that a talking orange cat in boots and a hat had. It was a fascinating little thing it had ancient Ponian writing on the edge's it seem to predate around the time of before the Princess's rule. It took her half the night to be able to translate it and she still didn't have any headway. Eventually she nodded off but she still dreamed about the darned thing. Her dream did not go unnoticed though and Princess Luna decided to visit her in her dreams. They talked about the Medallion and the strange cat and drank dream tea, eventually Luna took a crack at it and read to Twilight the inscription.
It said Gift of the Travelercorn. This only brought up more questions for Twilight. She would've inquired with Luna but she that her sister is raising the sun and that there connection will be cut. Now she was laying in bed pondering on who the Travelercorn was. She did this for the betterment of the hour until Spike her young dragon assistant was rudely awakened by a letter being sent via his magical dragon fire. She chuckled at the dragon's misfortune and took the letter into her magical telekinesis. Then she read the letter out loud.
"Dear Twilight Sparkle. My sister Luna has brought to our attention that you have found a Traveler's Artifact. These artifacts are used to store history, memories, and of course knowledge. Some of these artifact's even have the power to travel to different worlds and planes of existence. I trust the strange talking cat in boots and hat is a messenger from the Travelercorn. And I advise you to extract any and all information from him. Yours sincerely Princess Celestia." This gave Twilight a new found energy and she started running out the door. To go get her answers from the cat.
Back to Puss in Boots.
To say the least I was bored. I was in a box called a cat carrier, it is apparently used to hold cats as prisoner. Fluttershy being the angel that she was said we were almost to her friend's Boutique as she called it. I was relieved to say the least, we have managed to get across town very easy no one even bothered us. Then I heard the sound of a bell being rung I looked out of the little window that was to the side and saw what appeared to be clothing. I guess we were at the Boutique for the prison that I was in was settled down on the ground and I saw a yellow hoof opening the door to my prison. I immediately bolted from the mobile prison carrier and thanked the angel pony Fluttershy.
She smiled and said that I was welcome. After our brief another voice called out to us saying.
"I'll be with you in a minute I am working on a very important dress and it has to be done." I looked around the Boutique nothing really interested me for I was on a mission to find my boots and hat. What I found however was even more beautiful than my prized possessions. She had a Light turquoisish gray with a tortoise gray tail, a purple bow on top of her head, with light spring bud eyes, a little fat too but I've had my share of pudgy cats. Even they need love.
She walked by me on all fours and sized me up. Probably to admire my muscles. After she got a good look at me she brushed her tail against my face and walked off somewhere. Her scent was magical and apparently able to knock me right out.
"Now before I continue I need to go get some leche. Be right back". *Sound of Puss getting out of his chair and walking out the door. You wait several minutes in that time you look at the very nice looking fifty nine likes and feel that you should add yours to it as well. And not add a dislike cause this story is awesome. Another minute later and Puss in boots comes back with a mug of cold delicious Leche. You start feel thirsty and tell him that you yourself must get a drink. He quietly nods and you go to get a drink form the local bar or fridge. You come back to a waiting cat ready to tell you his adventure. You sit back down and listen intently* Ok then back to the story. I had just been knocked out by this beautiful senorita, I was in heaven or paradise. I slowly reopened my eyes to see the angel pony Fluttershy and another who I could not recall's name both staring at me with worried looks. They asked me questions like are you alright and I told them that I was multa (Fine). I slowly got to my paws and chanced a glance around the room looking for the beautiful Gato that knocked me out. Sadly she was no longer around and I felt saddened.
My attention to the room was short lived as the white with purple curly hair unicorn grabbed my attention. She directed my attention to something that made my heart soar to the heavens. There on a pillow like pedestal was the hat and boots restored and shining that I received from my momma. Bounding over to them I smothered them in my own version of a bear like hug. I rolled with them on the floor purring and not giving a care in the world. I got back up and swiftly put on my boots and and hat and I struck a pose. If I had my rapier I would use it to slice the wall in my initials. Which reminds me where was my rapier anyway. I had asked them this question and they merely shrugged a feat I thought impossible for a horse. As I had pondered this and continued to look around they went off into another room to speak. Probably about horse things I presume."
With Fluttershy and Rarity
"So dearie how has this cat been acting in your company? Rarity asked.
"Oh he has been quite the gentlecat, however there was an incident were he tried to eat a mouse but I think that was just his instincts." Fluttershy answered truthfully. Rarity looked a little green after the mention of Puss trying to eat another creature but otherwise she was glad that cat wasn't giving her a hard time.
"Well that is nice Fluttershy it's good to know that you can even tame talking animals."
"Oh I know and I'm glad you fixed his hat and boots they were very important to him."
"Oh there was nothing to it darling to see such beautiful clothing get ruined is a tragedy to fashion."
"Well I'm glad you fixed them anyhow Rarity."
"So are we still on for our daily spa treatment today or are you busy?"
"Well I don't know Rarity someone has to show Mr. Boots around and Twilight does want to ask him questions. I guess I could leave him with Twilight and attend to our Spa Date." Rarity put her two front hooves together and said.
"Excellent I'm sure everything will go just as planned." A noise of something crashing could be heard from outside the room they were in. They hurriedly rushed to see what was going on and saw Twilight using her magic on Puss and Boots tail while he was hanging upside down hitting her with a roll of material. And Rarity shrieked. "What is going on out here?" Causing both Twilight and Puss in Boots to freeze in place.
Back to Puss in boots while Rarity and Fluttershy were talking
"While they went off into the other room I was left alone. I decided I needed a snazzy cape to go with my boots and hat. So I looked around for some materials until I heard the same bell ringing when you enter this store. I chanced a gaze and saw it was the Lavanda unicorn from last night. She quickly trotted on over to me and shoved the medallion to close for comfort near my face and said."
"Tell me all you know about the Travelercorn."
"She stared at me intently, I of course had no clue to what she was talking about. She had me pinned against a shelf filled with materials. a plan formed in my head and I put it to action. Using my one and only defense when I'm backed into a corner and can't escape I took my hat off and prepared for the cuteness. She however was several steps ahead of me. Saying "Not this time!" She used her magic on my hat and shoved it into my face causing me to stumble backwards and hit the shelf. There was an audible crash to be heard but I paid little heed to it as she used her magic to levitate me by the tail. I felt great pain and anger for this act, for you never just grab a cat's tail and choose to manhandle it. I grabbed a roll of material and smacked her on the head with it like a disobedient dog. She winced but still held her magical grip on my tail, I would've swung again but I heard a shriek and looked for the source. There by the door that Fluttershy and her friend went through was a angry white unicorn staring evilly at us, along with a surprised Fluttershy. I knew at that moment they were angry with us."
A plan, a plan was needed right now. Why you may ask? Because two ponies were angry at me and at the lavanda pony. Using my superior intellect that all cats have, I raced my mind to help my situation. The lavanda pony known as Twilight used her magic on my tail and boy does it still hurt. That's when I struck gold as it were. I cried out.
"HELP SHE'S TRYING TO RIP MY COLA OFF." The Beautiful white Unicorn and the Angel pony Fluttershy not to mention the lavanda unicorn all stared at me with raised eyebrows. It was obvious to me they didn't know the Spanish word for tail. I sighed and said while pointing.. "My tail." They all said a synchronized OHHHHHH and then it was quiet. After a couple seconds Fluttershy's eye opened wide and she charged at her friend like a rampaging bull. Catching her off guard her magic on me faded and she was sent across the room from the tackle. I fell to the ground and landed safely on my feet. The white unicorn was shocked to see her Angel pony friend tackle the lavanda unicorn.
A serious yelling abrewed, like non I have ever heard before. Minutes later She was apologizing to me and everything. I accepted he apology but gave her a warning to never pull a person's tail or else there will be hell to pay. And I have nine lives to torment her with. Well maybe seven lives, but that's beside the point. Now here we were again in the same exact room, everyone was quiet and a lot calmer. Fluttershy now calmly asked her friend why she was being cold and hurtful to me.Twilight was spewing out words and a lot of "Buts" and "I's" of how she was trying to get answers out of me. It all didn't really make sense to me. So I decided to explore the domain I was in. I sneaked out of the main room quietly and encountered a kitchen of sorts. Apart of me was a little peckish so decided to look for something to eat. Opening and closing cupboards I found nothing until I encountered the giant cupboard. It looked like it was made out of metal and a lot bigger than the others.
I began to think to my self that this giant cupboard was probably where the good food was. I saw the handle on the cupboard and decided to try the direct approach. I jumped up onto the counter by the giant cupboard and tried to push the cupboard open from the side. It didn't budge, I tried a couple more times and it made no sign of moving. I thought of a new plan to open it and saw wooden utensils. I grabbed one and observed it it was like a fork and a spoon, a spork if you will. I refocused back on the giant cupboard and put the wooden spork between the handle and pushed to get it open. A couple more push's and it opened. However I fell when the door opened and went face first with the floor. I got back up and pretended to dust my self off of any dirt. That's when I saw it all, many sorts of various food and beverages. I went to bottle that had yellow pony head with a blue maned hairstyle that was like Rarity's. I read the letters below and it said Milky way's 1% Milk.
I happily guzzled it down and was left with a empty bottle. It was delicioso, I went back to looking through the giant cupboard and saw another bottle that said Vin wilk (Milk Wine). I opened the cap to it and sniffed it as well. It had the scent of Milk and another liquid substance in it. And I think it has been aged a couple years. I took a test sip of it and was surprised that it tasted good. I started to guzzle it down like I did the milk bottle. After I finished my vision started to go a little blurry. I now knew the other liquid in the bottle was Liquor, and it was the wine like variety. I couldn't see straight and I started stumbling over my self, I started to head out of the room but was met with the three ponies that saw me wobble to and through. I then fell down and happily fell asleep.
