> Learn to Small Things > by zargein > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > She Learns > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The sun was going down as Trixie and Starlight returned to Ponyville from their much more successful second tour together when they spotted a very large carriage parked in Trixie’s usual spot. “Is that a friend of yours Trixie”, Starlight asked “Certainly not, Trixie’s friends would not be soo rude as to steal her favorite spot”, Trixie walked up to the carriage door. * BANG BANG BANG * “Who dares steal the great and powerfull Trixie’s parking spot!?”, She shouted out to whomever may be inside. A large unicorn opened the door and walked down the stairs, making a slightly intimidated Trixie step back as he did. “Sorry ma’am, didn’t know this spot belonged to somepony” “Technically,it doesn’t”, Starlight chimed in. “It is a public park.” “I’d move it for you, but I have a show in thirty minutes. If you’d like I could give you two a couple of tickets for free for the inconvience. I’ll be leaving after”, The stallion walked back into his carriage and returned with two tickets. “Here you go”, he said handing one to Trixie and the other to Starlight. Starlight looked at the ticket, “Blaine’s Mystic Spectical? Your a magician to?” “I prefer the term illusionist.” Starlight looked at Trixie with stary eyes, “look Trixie, you met a friend!” “No, I’ve met the competition”, Trixie countered Starlight. “Though it would be a good idea for Trixie to learn what she’s up against. Where is this “show”, of yours taking place?” “Right over there ma’am”, Blaine pointed to a massive stage just a hundred yards away. Trixie and Starlight had somehow not noticed the giant crowd of ponies gathering while the three were talking. “Oh, very well. Trixie shall attend this performance, if only to mock it.” “Great! Show starts in twenty”, Pone Blaine put on his jacket, ignited his magic, and teleported away. “Hmmph”, Trixie scoffed. “Real magicians use smoke bombs.” “Let’s go Trixie. It’ll be nice to enjoy a magic show instead of performing one for once.” {showtime} The two sat amongst the crowd and watched in awe as Blaine performed all the classics. He did the cups and balls, sawing a mare in half, the teleporting box, and even the stupid rabbit in the hat bit. None of it Impressed Trixie or Starlight, as the two were basically the Penn and Teller of the audience. But when Blaine started using his horn, that’s when things got interesting. He made the staging lights bend to hide his assistants movements. Ponies watched as the friends they came with disappeared and re-appeared somewhere else in the audience. Blaine would throw his voice with magic to speak into the ears of certain ponies as part of a mass mind trick. But the coolest part was when he made five copies of himself, and went about the audience performing card tricks right in front of dozens of ponies at the same time; and absolutely no-pony could figure out how he did any of them. Even Starlight was impressed. If this were The Elder Scrolls Starlight would have put all her points into destruction and mysticism. It was exhilarating to watch a master of illusion perform right in front of her. After the show was over the two walked back to their carriage and waited for Blaine to move his. As they waited they discussed the show. “Now I know you don’t like that kind of magic show Trixie, but that… even you have to admit it was impressive” Trixie huffed, “I will grant you he did do a better job than me with the cups and balls. I’m a bit clumsy with those things. But true magicians don’t need all that fancy magic to do… magic.” Starlight rubbed a hoof on her friend’s shoulder, “Trixie your the best stage magician I know, but someponies enjoy the spectacle of…” “What? Real magic?” “Oh don’t be like that Trixie you know what I mean.” At that moment Blaine appeared in front of them. “Sorry, a lot of ponies wanted autographs and even with five of me it took a minute. How’d you two like the show?” “It was… adequate”, was all Trixie would admit. “You really know illusion magic. Who did you learn from?”, Starlight asked. “I’m self taught. I started in the magic shop, and once I mastered everything there I went to the library and read every spell book I could get my hoofs on”, Blaine looked right at Trixie. “I was never very good at real magic, but with time and practice I managed to master the spells I needed, and incorporate them into my shows.” “How long did it take?”, Trixie asked. “Well you can learn a spell in a night, but to master it, and perform it correctly, on stage, every time? That takes years.” The three were quiet for a moment. “Well I think I promised you two that I’d move my carriage”, Blaine walked to the hitch and hooked himself up. “I think when I come back here next year I’ll perform in the sky instead… so I’m not in anyone’s way”, Blaine winked at Trixie before trotting off, towing his carriage away. “I think he likes you”, Starlight said as she pulled Trixie’s carriage into place. “Of course he does, my personality forces every-pony to like me” Starlight rolled her eyes, “Yah… anyway see you later Trixie.” “Don’t leave yet Starlight I want you to teach me a new spell.” “Trixie, remember the tea cups?” “Of course, Trixie’s memory is perfect” Starlight glared at her. “I wont let something like that happen again”, Trixie promised. “That pony said any-pony could learn a spell in a night, so the Great and Powerful Trixie, should be a master in only a few minutes.” “Right, Trixie I’m really tired.” “Pleeeeease Starlight?”, Trixie pled with her pouty face. “Oh, fine… wait here”, Starlight ran into the carriage and came back with a basket ball. She placed it on the ground and stepped away. Ok, I’m gonna teach you a simple shrink spell, it should help you hide more stuff on stage.” “Why not teach Trixie the one with the five clones?” “Because I cant do the one with the five clones! Now… look at the ball.” Trixie stared intently at the basket ball. “Imagine it moving further and further away until all you can see is a speck. Understand?” “Yah, I think so.” “Good, now shrink the ball” Trixie released a beam of blue magic that slowly but surely, shrunk the basket ball down to the size of a Q-ball. Trixie opened her eyes, “I did it, I DID IT! Look Starlight the ball is small!” “Great job Trixie. Now, I’m tired and I’m going home.” “Ok, but tomorrow you must teach me another spell” “Yah yah, see ya tomorrow” Trixie watched as Starlight walked away; further and further away. She couldn’t resist. Letting lose another beam of magic, Trixie struck Starlight with her newly learned spell. “What the!?”, Starlight shouted as she was enveloped in a magical aura. She turned to see Trixie about thirty yards back casting the spell. Starlight would have been impressed at her friends range had she not been using the spell on her. “TRIXIE!”, Starlight shouted as she was slowly shrunken down to the size of a hampster. Opening her eyes Trixie didn’t see Starlight anymore. “Oh no”, she ran out and looked around for her friend. Turning to her right Trixie spotted a mini Starlight making her way through the grass. Trixie quickly ran over and picked up her friend with her magic. “Put me down!” Oh my Celestia she’s adorable, Trixie thought as she inspected her tiny friend. Starlight meanwhile was livid. “TRIXIE! You change me back right now!” “How?” Starlight realized to her horror, that she had neglected to teach her friend the other half of the spell. “Take me to Twilight!” “Aww, but your soo cute like this!” Even though Starlight was furious at her friend for using magic against her, magic she had just taught her no less; she deeply enjoyed being called cute, and a small blush ran across her face. “Why don’t you just spend the night with me?”, Trixie suggested. “NO!”, Starlight shouted emphatically, knowing all to well the many ways staying the night with Trixie at her size could go horribly wrong. Trixie ignored her and walked back to the carriage with her little Starlight in tow. Walking inside and locking the door, Trixie climbed into her hammoc and placed Starlight on her belly. Starlight shakily got to her feet and looked at her giantess friend. “Trixie, you need to take me to Twilight”, she stated flatly. “Why? Trixie enjoys her tiny friend.” “I can't stay like this Trixie, it may become permanent.” Trixie grabbed Starlight in her magic and sat up in the Hammoc. “Would that be soo bad? You look so cute like this. I could just eat you up, AHHHhh….’ Starlight stared into the wet fleshy cavern that was Trixies mouth, as the warm breath washed over her face. “Y-yah, you could.” “Would you like that? For Trixie to swallow you down into her body, whole and alive?” An uneasy smile crawled across Starlight’s face as a loud rumble emanated from Trixie’s gut. “Twilight always says we should try to become closer as friends, so maybe…”, Starlight was cut off by Trixie taking a long slow lick between her legs, up her belly, and over her face. “Trixie understands”, Trixie layed back in the hammock and held Starlight in her magic above her gaping maw, and slowly lowered the reluctant pony into her mouth. Pursing her lips Trixie sucked Starlight’s tail inside and swished her around a bit. Coating Starlight in saliva and sucking the flavor from her body, Trixie did her best to extract every ounce of flavor from her friend before sending her on the one way trip. Once she was satisfied, Trixie closed her eyes, grabbed the sides of her hammock and made a hard… * GULP * Starlight felt the crushing walls of Trixie’s throat contract against her body as they carried her down…. down into her best friend’s tummy. Falling down into the empty stomach, Starlight quickly re-oriented herself. “Trixie?” Sweet Celestia, “I can hear you Starlight”, Trixie replied poking at where she thought she was in her tummy. “What’s it like inside, the Great and Powerful Trixie?” Starlight looked around at the rippled walls of Trixie’s stomach, the mucus that coated the walls dripping down as Trixie’s heart beat above her. “It’s scary but… it’s also kinda nice.” “There is no need to fear, Trixie shall let you out…” * yawn * “tomorrow.” Trixie pulled the covers over herself while Starlight did her best to get comfortable in her stomach. “Trixie likes real magic.” > Epologue > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Trixie, can you please walk slower? I’m having trouble holding on”, Sarlight asked from atop Trixie’s head. “I could swallow you again” Starlight held Trixie’s soft mane tight, recalling just how warm it was inside of her friend, but, that was a one time thing… right? “I-I’ll be fine Trixie just get me to Twilight. Trixie continued through the castle, a little depressed that Starlittle hadn’t accepted her offer of another trip. But all good things must come to an end, so Trixie trotted her way up to the map room, where Twilight sat waiting. The mares were unaware that the map had been tracking them since last night, or that Twilight was watching as their icons made there way across town and into the castle. As they entered, Twilight smiled to them from her seat across room. “Hey Trixie, you and Starlight have a problem?” “Trixie is fine, but Starlight needs your magic”, Trixie explained as she made her way around the large table and over to Twilight. “Where is she then?” Trixie bent her head down and a tiny Starlight emerged from her mane. “Hi Twilight, can you give me a hoof?” “She’s… so… CUTE!”, Twilight exclaimed, yanking Starlight out of Trixie’s hair and pressing the tiny pony against her cheeks. “Starlight you’re so adorable!” Twilight then turned to Trixie, “How did this happen?” “Trixie may have used a shrink spell on her”, Trixie admitted. “A shrink spell? Since when do you practice magic Trixie?” “Starlight taught me!” Twilight turned back to Starlight. “Ok so what’s the problem?” “I didn’t teach her how to un-shrink” Twilight’s eyes went wide as a concerned look replaced her cheerful smile. “How long have you been like this?!” “About twelve hours”, Starlight responded. Twilight set Starlight down on the map table and leaned back in her chair. “I’m sorry Starlight but the only pony who can un-shrink you now is… The two looked at Trixie, who turned around herself, vainly hoping there was somepony standing behind her. “You’ve got to be kidding me”, Starlight groaned. “Fear not Starlittle, The great and powerful Trixie shall quickly learn this un-shrink spell and return her friend to her normal(but not as cute), size. “I’m gonna be like this forever arn’t I?” “Don’t worry Starlight, I’ll teach her”, Twilight petted Starlight in an attempt to sooth her, an action which only added insult to injury regarding her current stature. Twilight got up and placed a small stone on the ground by the door. “Alright Trixie, Starlight is counting on you to do this right.” Trixie stood attention and made a salute, which made Twilight roll her eyes. Moving behind her, Twilight explained the spell. “It’s simple really, just the reverse of what you did to Starlight, but you’re going to need alot more power and focus. Look at that stone and imagine it growing into a mountain, then, hit it with everything you’ve got” Trixie stood stoically, in a state of such focus that would have made a monk jealous. Her horn ignited and the aura grew larger, taking perfect form as Trixie struggled to contain the growing energy. She then let the spell lose and struck the stone with precise aim. Nothing happened at first, but after a moment the stone began to shake and wobble. Then suddenly, it grew, increasing it’s size to rival that of tom’s. After giving it her all, Trixie opened her eyes to find she had done it. She had managed to cast the spell successfully. The realization that she was now able help her tiny friend almost brought the proud magician to tears, but she held it together and simply turned to a very impressed Twilight. “Good enough?”, Trixie asked. Twilight smiled and turned to Starlight, who had been silently cheering her friend on from atop the table. Looking back at Trixie, Twilight pointed over to to Starlight. “Go ahead, give it a shot.” Trixie marched over to Starlight and leaned down to her. “You ready?” “Do it Trixie, I trust you.” Her horn ignited once more, and Trixie’s beam of magic enveloped Starlight. She felt a warmth fill her body as her giant friend became smaller and smaller. “It’s working!”, Starlight cheered. “Keep going Trixie!” Trixie held out for another six seconds before her magic was drained, and she fell to the floor exhausted. Inspecting herself, Starlight found she was back to her normal size. Trixie had done it. Starlight quickly climbed down from the table to aid her tired friend. As Trixie lay there panting, Starlight and Twilight rubbed her back, they were both so proud of the girl. “Good job Trixie.” “It was * pant *, nothing for the great * pant *, and powerful… * snore *” Trixie fell asleep, right there on the cold stone floor. Casting such a powerful spell twice was all the mare could handle. Starlight and Twilight giggled as they picked Trixie up, and carried her off to a warm bed. “Soooo, did you and Trixie do anything while you were all small and cute?”, Twilight asked. Starlight pointed to Trixie’s belly on her sleeping body. “She did not!?” Starlight nodded her head. “I kinda let her. It was really nice actually” “Would you maybe… let me sometime?”, Twilight blushed. Starlight smiled and looked forward down the hall. “Maybe.”
