As Celestia's sun was rising in the morning of equestria, all the ponies were slowly strarting to wake up, a few of them were already awake due to their jobs, and even a fewer number of them had nothing to do that Monday morning.

But there was an unicorn mare that indeed had stuff to do, but she was deeply asleep on his bed, probably beacouse she spent all night reading that book that she borrowed from twilight, about a human hero than travelled trough universes and saved countless of human, alien, pony, dragon, and even Celestia and luna once; his adventures were deployed trough several amount of volumes written in different languages, some of them known to pony kind, and some of them extinguished but still translatable.

"Lyra wake up!" Said her roommate Bon-bon "it's seven in the morning, and you have to go to see DJPon3 for your next play!"she said.

No pony answered

"Oh Lyra!" said Bon-bon tired of having to go through this again, as she entered the room "don't tell me that you didn't sleep beacouse you were reading about humans again."

"What... No, no, no, I was just" She said as the book she was reading last night fell to the floor as she woke up.

"Lyra, how many times I have told you, humans are not real!" She screamed. "They are just a story made up for little colts to teach the about studying and teamwork, and what happens when you don't follow it."

As Lyra was waking up she tried to put in order her mane before answering to Bon-bon.

"But there is so much evidence of their existence" She replied to her, "Maybe they didn't in this universe, but the proofs than point to the fact that they visited us from beyond equestria are abundant; like the construction of canterlot's castle for example, our architecture wasn't that developed when the castle was build as well as the city itself, and how do you explain tha...

"Enought Lyra", Replied her friend. "Today I made the breakfast and will get cold if you don't hurry.

"Okay, okay".

Bon-bon leaved Lyra on her room for her to prepare for the day, which she did but sadly.

"I wish than everypony could see humans the same way I do". She thought.

Beeep!-Beeep!-Beeep!, the phone alarm in Sophia's cellphone started to sound, and she immediately turned off. Just for her book about a unicorn that visited the earth from a magical world, fell of her face unto the floor.

"Ups, the grandma's book" She said "I better pick it up before my father sees it".

She loved unicorns since she was a baby, her first plushie was an white unicorn than she called Bibi, but for some reason that she already guessed it disappeared about one week ago.

Probably was for his father that never really approved his fascination for those creatures, he said than they were just a story for little kids to teach them about friendship, loyalty, honesty, kindness, and other lessons. But she was almost 10 years old and still sometimes dreamed about meeting a unicorn, and see magic in action.

"She would be 10 in 2 weeks and still holds on to believing that those horn horses are real." His father thought down in the kitchen. "Maybe it's time to give her something useful for life instead of another of those stories".

He believed that for a person to be successful in life he must start thinking seriously from a young age, since that's how he became a successful programmer and could afford buying that house, a good education for Sophia, and was paying for all the medications that Sophia's grandmother needed to stay alive.

"Good morning daddy" She said walking down the stairs "How are you."

"I'm fine" He said "did you sleep well last night?" He asked after noticing his daughter's sleepy face.

"Yes" She lied "I did".

"Well don't forget to wash your face, today you have a school trip to the ancient European museum".

"Oh yes!, I almost forgotten." She said as she started eating her breakfast; she was very excited about this museum beacouse it might have a clue that would suggest that not only unicorns, but even pegasi, sapient ponies, and 2 alicorns once visited the earth.

When she finished eating, she rushed to the bathroom to make herself ready for the day. It would be an exciting day, but no in the way she thinks.

Lyra was returning from the reunion with DJ PON3, in which both decided to attend a play at a party next week, but she still had something to do, since according to the newspaper some archeologists found a unique artefact that might prove for once the existence of humans in other worlds, although they don't think is that, she could recognize human decoration from almost every place, and the artifacts were going to be exposed on the museum this day, and she wanted to be on the first line.

She trotted through town, ate a hay burger for lunch, visited some friends, and attended to the museum 20 minutes earlier; they were not so many ponies as she was expecting, in fact she was the first to arrive.

"Okay, now it's just wait" She thought to herself.

Sophia was already at the museum, but she was not paying attention to the guide or to the exhibitions, she was searching for something more "specific" and just in that moment the guide said something that cached her attention.

"And this is the equestrian amulet it's original purpose is still unknown to science, but we believe than it might be some sort of superstition to attract gold while mining" She said "And here we have...

The rest was not meaningful for Sophia, when the group started to go to other section she approached as she could to watch it close.

Suddenly a light beam was fired from the amulet and impacted her, it was so fast that if you blinked you could miss it, this caused Sophia to jump and almost scream as the blue stone on the center of the amulet became dark.

She was reading of this amulet in the internet page, and the "equestrian" word caught her attention, but she never expected this to happen; suddenly she heard a soft voice than said to her:

"You still believe!"

Lyra finally entered the exhibit, trotted a little bit through the building, and finally fined what she saw on the newspaper: The "Earth" amulet.

She was about to pick up his camera to take a photo for later, when a light beam was fired from the amulet and impacted her; it was so fast that if you blinked you could miss it. She almost screamed from surprise, but managed to control herself, suddenly the blue stone on the amulet turned dark.

She didn't expect this to happen, could be just an alucination from stress?; but then she heard a soft voice saying:

"You still believe".

Sophia ended her day of school and museum, and was been taken from there in his dad's car.

When they reached home his father spoke:

"What is this?" while he showed his book about a unicorn from equestria that visited earth.

She froze totally at it, she knew that this would happen if her father founded the book.

"We already talked about this" he said"You'll never grow up as an decent and functional adult if you grow up attached to this nonsense!

"But it was a gift from my grandmother, she..."

- She isn't in conditions of thinking well!" He shouted "In his mind her granddaughter wanted something and she gave her that something."

She didn't say anything

"From today on it will stay with me alongside Bibi and all the other..." He stopped when he noticed that he revealed the fate of the plushie, although Sophia already supposed it.

She just went down the car, grabbed his backpack, and rushed to her bedroom and searched for her stuff as tears begun to flow from her eyes, but almost everything was gone.

Lyra was already at her home, but she didn't felt tired at all; she had meal with Bon-bon and went to her bedroom to study all the pictures she has taken to the amulet, but she eventually just gave up

"The only thing interesting was that light beam that she saw, but I doesn't think it was something" She thought "I really wish I could see the human world; they are so creative, dedicated and wonderful."

Sophia was crying on her bedroom with an older photo of her, her mother, and father; back when her mother was still alive, and her father loved to watch sci-fi movies.

"I really wish to see a unicorn" She thought "They are so magical, peaceful and friendly."

Suddenly Lyra felt than her bed vanished from his back, and she fell into the floor of other room.

"What?!, AAAAAAAHH."

After saying that some kind of portal opened on the sealing, and something than appeared like a dream, but it was real appeared from it and crashed unto the floor, a mint green unicorn.

Both girl and unicorn stared at each other, not believing what was in front of each one, but Lyra was the first one to react.

"A HUMAN GIRL!".

Chapter II - My little friend

-"A HUMAN GIRL!" Lyra said with excitement.

Sophia couldn't believe what was in front of her, or maybe she should say who was in front of her. A real unicorn, and could talk just like the equestrian ones. Was she from equestria?, how many years she had?, (she new she was a she beacouse of her voice); which was his name?

To many questions, and so few answers to work with. Sophia's mind was trying to deal with the fact than a mint green unicorn was on his bedroom. Then to both girls sight, the portal on the celling vanished just as fast as it opened.

Lyra's mind was also stunned by the fact that she was taken to a portal, into the room of a human little girl, her dream of his life was now true, and this moment worth all the times she was called crazy back at ponyville; but after 20 seconds of astonishment, she realized than the human girl still deserved at least a greeting from her.

"H-Hi." She said nervously "My name is Lyra."

"Are you a unicorn?" Sophia asked, still not believing what was in front of her.

"Well, yes, I am a unicorn." Lyra answered, while looking at her surroundings.

Sophia was still shocked, but quickly remembered than the mare in front of her was not only a unicorn, but was a guest in her house, and as a guest, she should be treated as one.

"My name is Sophia!" she quickly said. "I... well... sorry, sniff, I just never, but always wanted to see a unicorn. And now than I have one in front of me I forgot to present myself."

"Don't worry Sophia." Said Lyra still very excited. "I'll also lose my mind if a human appeared in my house."

"So you have a house"Said Sophia - "So, does that means that you are from equestria?"

"WHAT!" Said Lyra astonished by hearing that word from the little girl.

"Sorry, sniff, I just thought that you were from a world that I reeded in my book."

"No, I do came from equestria, It's just that the fact than a human new it takes me by surprise. And if I don't guess wrong this is the earth, right?"

"Yes, it is the earth." Sophia answered "Wait, you are from equestria!?; does that mean that celestia and Luna exists!?, they do control the sun and moon!?, pegasi exists!?; wait, you are a unicorn, could you show me magic!?"

"Wait, wait wait." Said lyra. "One question at the time; well... yes I'm from equestria, yes Celestia and Luna are very real, And I have a friend that is a pegasus. Oh and let me show you!"

She immediately glow up his horn, and enveloped Sophia in her green aura, and levitated her some centimeters off the ground.

"WHOA!!!" Said Sophia amazed by the magic perform "I'M FLYING!, I'M FLYING!; I can't belive it. You are incredible Lyra."

"It wasn't that much." Said Lyra while putting Sophia down. "If you could see what my friend twilight can do you will loose your mind."

"Who is she?"

"I don't expect you to know her, but she is the most recently crowned alicorn princess."

"Really!, and she is princess of..."

"Friendship." Replied Lyra. "But what is that!" said Lyra pointing a hoof to some kind of decorated brick with glass over it's surface.

"Oh that's just my cellphone".

"What is it for?" Asked Lyra "It is a piece of your crazy technology!?".

"I wouldn't say crazy, we can do things more impressive than this, but it is; It's mainly for communication between long distances, but can do much more, like playing music, sniff".

"Music, really!" Said Lyra impressed.

"Yes, let me show you".

While Sophia was touching the glass on the decorated brick, Lyra watched trough the window a sight that she never could really imagine. There, in the distance, where human buildings tall as mountains, with glowing lights in their surface placed carefully side by side the other. She was about to ask what they could be, when suddenly a pleasefull sound began emanating from Sophia's "cellphone".

Sophia searched for a relaxing instrumental song to show to Lyra, and play it. Lyra approached to her with an amazed expression an her face.

"WHOA, you placed a whole symphony into that little thing." Said Lyra "How did you do it?"

"It isn't like that, sniff." Replied Sophia. " As my father told me, is just has the data of how was the real symphony, and a speaker that can imitate it".

"Oh that's really clever I've to say, and what other..." Lyra stopped. She noticed that Sophia's nose was wet, her eyes were red and she clearly was crying a few moments ago.

"What's wrong." Said Sophia wandering what happened to Lyra.

"Did you were crying?" Asked Lyra worried for what happened to her.

"No... Well... Sniff, yes." she said with a sad tone on his voice. "Sorry, I didn't wanna bother you Lyra".

"No it doesn't." Lyra said worried about this human. "but, could I ask why?".

"It's just than..." Sophia froze for an instant, the big golden eyes in Lyra's face told her than she really wanted to know about it, but she didn't know how to say it.
But Lyra seemed that could understand what is to believe in unicorns, beacouse she was one, so she finally spoke. "Well, I always believed in unicorns, my grandma told me awesome stories about a world full of them, a world that she told me was called equestria."

"Oh, that's my home world, but what's wrong with it?" Asked Lyra knowing that she wasn't crying of happiness.

"Well she wrote a book with all the equestrian history that she knew, and gave it to me when I was 6." Sophia explained. "But after she fell in a coma a year ago, my father thought that the stories that she wrote on that book were just stories for dumb kids, and forced me to throw the book to the trash."

"So that's why." Said Lyra.

"Kind of, you see, he told me to do it, and I told him than I did, but I didn't. I kept it for almost 4 years until today he found it while I was on school, and then he... he..."

"He did what?" Asked Lyra already expecting the worse.

"He destroyed it." Said Sophia breaking in a tearful cry. "Page by page ripping them one by one and throwing them in the garbage."

Lyra was motioned by the little girl's story, and her lost book, at first she didn't say anything, not knowing what to say. But then she remembered a very easy spell for repairing damaged objects, in her face grew a smile for the little miracle she would give to her.

"Could I tell you something my little friend." Lyra asked to the crying girl.

"Are we friends!" Sophia questioned to Lyra, this was her dream come true, be a friend with a unicorn.

Lyra froze, she didn't think of those words when she said them. But she always wanted to meet a human, and even though she knew they weren't as friendly as ponies, she knew it was possible; although she didn't expect it to be so quickly.

"Yes!, well... if you want to." Lyra said still unsure of the girl's intentions.

"Are you kidding." Sophia said. "I always wanted to be friend with a unicorn! Thank you so much Lyra." She said while breaking the personal space between them by giving her a big hug around the neck.

Lyra didn't expect that from this girl, although she believed humans were like this, all ponies that still remembered human legends thought than they were meat eater monsters, that would use their weapons to cut you, burn you, or even eating you. This action of the girl not only confirmed her theory, but in fact gave her something more valuable than all the bits in the world, a new friend.

Lyra corresponded the hug with her forelegs, showing Sophia that she cared about her, and that she was her little friend.

The hug ended about 2 minutes later since both girl's were already scared of all of this being a dream, a very fascinating dream. When it ended Lyra spoke:

"Well Sophia, were are the remains of the book."

Sophia's father was on his office at the computer, finishing the code of a program. He was a little sad for his daughter, although he was sure he was doing right; but, was it necessary to destroy it? His original plan was to place it in the same place were Bibi was and he wasn't sure if he had been to much rude with her. He was thinking of all this things, when he heard steps walking down the stairs. "It's probably Sophia coming for my advice." he thought, but something was wrong. "Are those, hoofsteps?".

He leaved his office, and walked to the kitchen, were the sound was emanating. He slowly opened the door of to see if there was a robber searching for some money and stuff.

But he stopped opening the door, as soon as he saw what was inside the kitchen. There was his daughter staring at the trashcan, and beside her was a mint green little unicorn, with a glowing horn.

"Watch this."Said the mare as she started to cast the spell.

Then he could watch than the ripped pages of the book that he destroyed began to levitate, enveloped on a greenish aura. And then as if was by art of magic, one by one, the pages were placing themselves back together to form a book.

"EEEEEEEKK!" Shouted Sophia "It's my book! But how?!"

"Told you magic could do more than levitating things." Said the mare excitedly. "And wait for me to show you telepor..."

She stopped, she spotted him. His mind told him to run, but his body was not moving, he was paralyzed. And the two little girls were approaching to him.

"This would ve hard to explain." Thought Sophia. "Even more hard when you don't know the full explanation".

Chapter III - A very special guest.

"That had been a long conversation." Said Lyra.

They where on Sophia's room, Lyra was lying on a inflatable mattress, and Sophia was lying on her bed.

"It surely was." Answered Sophia, as she remembered the shocked face of his father after finding Lyra at the kitchen.
It had been a long talk, and although his father was about to refuse, a single bit from Lyra was enough to convince him to let her stay. 'As long as you don't curse me or my daughter, you could stay. But if something happens that... horse, would have to leave the house' where his exact words.

"For the fact." said Lyra. "I wont curse you."

This joke caused both girls to start laughing at the idea. Lyra would never curse anypony, even if she know how to do it.

"Your father is a very strenge pon... I say 'person'." said Lyra. "Just one of my bits was more than enough for him to let me stay. I say, it was just a little of gold, right?"

"Actually gold is very rare here on earth." she said. "And it wasn't just a little, that coin was HUGE!"

"So what do you humans use as currency?" asked the mare with curiosity.

"Wait." said Sophia, as she stood up from his bed, searching for her money box. "This." she said showing her a money bill.

"This!?" said the mare. "This its just a piece of paper, how could any society use this as currency."

"To be honest with you Lyra, I don't understand it either." said her human friend.

Meanwhile, at his bedroom, Sophia's father was walking side to side, thinking on how it was possible to a mint green unicorn to be at his house, or even more incredible, HOW IT WAS POSSIBLE FOR HER TO EXIST! He studied several times about the earth's ecosystem, not that he needed to do it, and that thing talking with his daughter was not anatomically, biologically, or even logically possible for that thing to exist.

"At least seems harmless." said him. "And already paid for his lodging." said as lifted the giant, golden coin that mare gave to him.

In the coin he could read: 'Celestia the princess of equestria recognize this coin as 1 BIT'. It seemed too heavy, too shiny, simply too detailed to be fake; but it couldn't be real, or that would mean that a world full of talking horses exists.

And his mind refuse to believe it.

Upstairs, the girls were having an unofficial sleepover, quiet and awkward, but a sleepover after all. Sophia didn't remember the last time she had a sleepover, and she was very glad that this one was with Lyra. And the mare was also enjoying the company of her new friend as they discussed the obvious question: How Lyra got here.

"The earth amulet!?" asked Sophia. "That's a pretty weird coincidence!"

"What do you mean by coincidence?" said the mare.

"Well, today I went to a museum of ancient European history, and a light beam also was beamed to me from 'the equestrian amulet'." said the little girl. "Tell me, how is this 'earth amulet'."

"Well... it has human figures at both sides, has the word 'Earth' on its front, and a blue stone on its center; although it become dark after beaming that ray to me."

"Pretty similar to the equestrian amulet actually." concluded the girl. "But this one has three ponies at one face, one pegasus, one unicorn, and one earth pony; on the other side it had two alicorns, the smaller one had the moon above her, so I supposed than it was Luna; the other one was much larger, and had the sun above her, so I supposed it was Celestia. It also had a blue stone on its center, but it became dark after beaming me."

"That's very interesting." said Lyra at noticing the similarities between both stories. "Maybe we could go to that museum tomorrow!" said the mare thinking excitedly about walking among the humans in one of their cities.

"Yeah.. maybe." said Sophia with a worried expression on her face. "If you are not worried about being kidnapped by the government or something."

"You have reeded to many sci-fi books." responded Lyra. "Even if they catch me, I could just teleport back here and the problem would be solved. Besides, I really doubt humans wouldn't accept my presence after showing up on the streets for one week or two." sentenced her, with a smile on her face.

"Well that... could be right." concluded Sophia. "Anyways we'll figure it out tomorrow, its already midnight and I didn't sleep well last night." she stated as a big yawn appeared on Sophia's face. "Are you sure you don't want my bed Lyra? Its more comfortable, and you are my guest after all."

"I'm sure, besides I already bothering your father with my existence, and affected your life by coming with no invitation."

"Well, if you are sure." said Sophia suppressing a yawn. "Good night Lyra."

"Good night Sophia." said the mare before disconnecting of the reality, and into the dream realm.

"LYRA THIS IS NOT FUNNY!" said Bon-bon. "WHERE ARE YOU!?"

Bon-bon has just wake up, and she wasn't funding Lyra anywhere. This was strange, beacouse even though Lyra was a very wired pony, she never leaved the house without at least a note. Well... she would never leave the house without a reason at a Saturday morning!

She was searching her in all the rooms of the house: the kitchen; the living room; the bathroom; and finally after breaking the door, her bedroom.

The door was locked by the inside, and nopony responded to her VERY repetitive knocks, so finally she decided to break it.

Inside there was nopony as she expected, and feared; she walked inside, analyzing the room to get at least a clue of where Lyra had gone.

And then, she found it, the newspaper that showed a museum, and pictures from several angles of an amulet with human images on it.

"Oh Celestia, PLEASE TELL ME SHE WASN'T PLANNING TO STEAL A 'HUMAN' ARTIFACT FROM A MUSEUM!." she knew lyra, she knew she wouldn't do something THAT extreme just to prove humans are real, right... right? But then she saw Lyra's wall, a huge 'red stringed map' that was all connected to a picture of the 'earth amulet.

"THAT STUPID CRAZY INFANT UNICORN!"

Meanwhile, on earth, Lyra and Sophia had just wake up, and they were about to have breakfast.

"So, what do you want to eat Lyra?" asked Sophia.

"I could eat almost anything." Lyra responded. "As long as its not meat, and don't worry. I know you humans eat meat, but don't worry, I know your animals are not nearly as intelligent as ours."

"Oh, that's good to know." said Sophia worried about the this part of human alimentation. "I'll take it in account, so what do you want?"

"Nothing that will bring you too many troubles, just some hay would be enough for me."

"What!? hay?" said Sophia

"Yes just hay." said Lyra just trying to be nice to Sophia. "The simplest thing ever."

"Sorry Lyra." said her friend. "But as humans we don't eat hay."

"WHAT!?" Said Lyra, although she knew humans eat meat, she didn't expect this, after all, hay was the base of the diet of almost any creature back in equestria.
"Well, this is unexpected, but what do you eat then?"

"Any kind of plant as long as its not poisonous, any kind of meat, milk, and eggs."

"Well, then a rose's flower sandwich will do just nice." said the mare.

"Well... actually, we can't eat flowers, so..."

"You gotta be kidding me." said the mare a little frustrated. "Well then just some scrambled eggs with bread." she said, now expecting that bread will be a human killer poison.

"Ok, I can do that." said Sophia starting to search for the eggs.

"Wait, you know how to cook!?" asked Lyra, amazed by her cooking abilities at the age of 9.

"Yes, grandma taught me how to cook several amount of foods." said Sophia with happiness, but her face quickly become sad as she remembered what happened to her.

"What's wrong?" said Lyra after noticing her friend's sad face.

"I just remembered that she is on a coma, and probably won't wake up." said Sophia doing his best to hide her emotions.

"Wait she is on a coma!" said Lyra. "And nopony wake her up."

"No, the doctors tried their best but her case is almost a lost battle, although dad would never let his mother die."

"But wake up somepony from a coma its super easy!" shouted Lyra. "I'm not a doctor, but any unicorn doctor could perform a spell to..." Lyra stopped, she just remembered that the human world doesn't have magic. "Oh sorry Sophia, I forgot that magic doesn't exists here."

"Don't worry, if I visited equestria, I guess I'll do something stupid, like trying to charge my pho... WAIT, YOU CAN WAKE HER UP FROM HER COMA!?" said Sophia with renewed exitement.

"Well as I said I'm not a doctor, but I guess than trying won't hurt anypony" said Lyra thinking of how horrible would be to stay in a comma for to much time. "We can go and see her after breakfast!"

"REALLY!" said Sophia excitedly.

"What is all this shouting!?" said Sophia's father as he entered the kitchen.

"LYRA WOULD WAKE UP GRANDMA!" shouted Sophia.

Chapter IV - Wake up, and see something amazing

View Online

Bon-bon was rushing to the museum. She wanted to make sure than Lyra wasn't that stupid to try to steal a museum relique, that probably worth millions of bits, just to try to prove than some bipedal creatures from a fairy tail exists. But she knew Lyra, she knew that when humans were involved, she was capable of everything, just to prove once and for all than they exist.

"I hope she wasn't that stupid to do that." Bon-bon thought. "Even Lyra has limits, and stealing private property was clearly crossing all of them. I just hope that she isn't at jail right now, or worse."

As she approached the museum that she found on the newspaper she saw on Lyra's room, she was starting to calm down as no royal guards were there, no windows were broken, and the museum was open to the public.

"Uff, maybe Lyra wasn't so crazy after all." the mare thought. "But don't relax yet Bonnie, not until I see that the relique is safe from Lyra's hoofs."

She entered the building and aimless road through the various amount showcases the museum had to offer. In her saddlebag, she had the newspaper that showed the artifact she was looking for. She searched for the museum for some time, but eventually she just decided to ask one of the workers about it. She searched for one, and after a few seconds she found a pony with the museum uniform.

"Um, excuse me sir, but can you tell me where I can find this?" she asked to the stallion. "I can't see it anywhere."

"Oh yes miss." the green stallion answered. "That is the museum newest addition. The princess Celestia herself was the one who provided us with that amazing relique. She said that she found it on the castle vault and thought that it would be better for it to be in a museum so everypoy can see it. If you can follow me I could show where it is."

Bon-bon followed her guide, until they arrived a whole room that was dedicated to humans! There where tons of little statues, paintings, burned artifacts, books written in very old languages such as Latin, and in the center of the room was what she was looking for: The Earth amulet.

"And here we are miss, have fun at the human hall." said the green stallion before leaving.

Bon-bon was stunned by the whole room. Sure, humans were pure fantasy, but they had tons and tons of old relics dedicated to them. It seems that their legend was very popular in the past, since all of this dedicated stuff were just to detailed to be fake.

"Well... at least there it is, the earth amulet, which means that Lyra didn't steal it." the mare thought before realizing that: "Wait, so if Lyra didn't steal it, where is she? Oh no, Lyra is lost and I just wasted my time instead of searching her!"

She turned herself around to began her searching of her friend, when suddenly she heard a noise from behind.

"Is anypony here?" she asked, with no response from anywhere.

She was about to continue on her way, until she saw than the Earth amulet was... saying something?

"Initiate the friendship protocol!" the amulet spoke, with a bright blue light emanating from the black stone on its center.

Then, suddenly and without warning, the floor opened under her hoofs and she fall into the portal that just opened under her.

"What thE HAYYYY! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" she shouted before her body turned around, and make her head impact on unknown ground, leaving her unconscious.

"How exactly I ended up here?" asked to himself Sophia's father. "Driving a unicorn to the hospital, beacouse she said than she might be able tu cure my mother from her coma." he didn't trust this unicorn fully yet, and he still refused to believe that magic was real, but... the simple idea of seeing his mother awake one more time was enough to accept taking this unicorn to his mother hospital room.

Meanwhile, in the backseats of the red car, both friend were chatting very loudly about many things, while waiting to the traffic lights to turn green.

"So, this 'car' uses the power of lighting for moving itself and its passengers!?" asked the unicorn to her friend.

"Yes, it does." answered Sophia. "Although we don't charge them directly with lightnings."

"I though that you humans used fossil fuels for energizing stuff." the mare said. "But maybe its better like this, since those kind of fuels were destroying the human atmosphere according to the legends."

"Yeah, we previously used those fuels according to my history teach." answered Sophia. "But since the 4th industrial revolution we changed them for renewable energies. And that was about 2000 years ago."

"Oh so your technology really improved since then, right?"

"Well yeah, it improved" answered the girl. "But nothing very big actually. The biggest change in 2 millenniums is the development of virtual reality, and that's all. It looks like our technology its reaching its peak."

"Kind of similar to magic back in equestria." Lyra spoke. "Since thousands of years, the biggest upgrade in magic was the discovery of 'magic of friendship'."

"Ooo, magic of friendship, I wanna know about tha..." Sophia stopped talking, since at the other side of the open car window, she could see a teenager staring at Lyra.

Fortunately the traffic lights become green, and both cars went on separate directions.

"Maybe it will be better for us to close that window." Sophia said.

"You worry too much Sophia." answered her unicorn friend. "In fact, I wanna be spotted so they can learn that unicorns exist!"

"I don't think is a good idea either." said Sophia's father. "Miss heartstrings, from where you came they might be tons of different species living with each other peacefully, but here on earth a simple variation of your skin color could make the difference for determining your social group in the past. I'm already taking a great risk by taking you to the hospital."

"But this is not the past anymore." the mare sentenced. "From what Sophia told me last night, you humans have changed a lot, even wars that were your greatest and repetitive mistake, have not happened for about 2000 years."

"Well that's... true, but still..."

"Since I don't know for how long I'm gonna stay here on earth, I think I could spend all that time helping the human race to be a little bit more friendly." Lyra sentenced with a very big smile on her face. "And I don't know how I can do it if I stay hidden to the public. Also you don't need to call me 'miss heartstrings' just call me Lyra."

"You really wanna help our entire race!" said Sophia with a big smile on her face.

"Well yeah." said Lyra a little nervous. "I think we ponies could teach you how to use magic, and you humans could teach us how to build these kind of awesome vehicles."

The chat continued for some more minutes, until they arrived at the hospital's parking spot.

"Well, here we are." said Lyra's father. "Now, I can lead you miss Heart... I say Lyra, to the room in which my mother is, you just have to follow me an my daughter, and if someone tries to harm you, just let me know and I would help you."

The three of them went out of the car, and started their way to the hospital entrance. And, as expected, all of the people that were walking by stared at Lyra. From young to old, women and men, stared at Lyra as if she was an alien that just landed on the earth, which actually was not that wrong.

They entered the building, and as soon as the people inside noticed Lyra they also froze. Nobody was moving for a whole minute, until Lyra spoke.

"Hi everyp... I say, everyone, my name is Lyra, and I promise to all of you than I'm not harmful." said the mare a little nervous. "In fact I just came here to help one of your kind, that is not having a good time, to wake up."

A few of them where starting to pull out their 'cellphones' and place them in front of themselves, pointing them to Lyra.

This made Lyra a little scared, she knew that even though humans didn't had a war since 2000 years ago, they still have very destructive weapons. What if one of the functions of these 'cellphones' was to kill the thing that was in front of them.

"Don't worry, they won't hurt you." Sophia calmed her. "They are just recording you, and taking photos. Now, let's go wake up grandma!"

They went very quickly to Sophia's grandma's hospital room, since all the people in the hallways they needed to go through to get to her froze as soon as they saw Lyra. Sophia's father opened the door for the girls and they all entered.

"Quickly," said Sophia's father, "now than they aren't any doctors around. Just do your magic... I say... Well, yes, do your magic Lyra."

"Ok." the mare said. "As I said before, I'm not a doctor, so excuse me if I fail."

She placed herself in front of the hospital bed that contained a very old human figure inside. She had wrinkles on her face, white hair, and a machine alongside her that was beeping constantly.

Lyra's horn began to glow, as a greenish aura enveloped the old lady's body; then, her horn began to glow even brighter as she used all her efforts to find grandma's mind, and put it back at control of her own body.

Then Lyra's horn ended the spell with a sudden 'flash', and Lyra's body was pushed against the wall.

"Owww!" Lyra said while trying to stand up. "I should've practiced that spell before. Sorry guys, it seems that since I'm not a doctor, the spell didn't..."

She stopped talking as soon as she noticed that the old lady was starting to move her hand to her face, and started to open her eyes to see her family staring at her with amazed eyes.

"What happened?" said the old lady. "What happened? I just remember that I was taking my pills when..."

"MOMMY!" said Sophia's father while giving her mother a tide hug. "I though that you would never wake up!"

"Wait, for how much time I was sleeping? What happened to me? And..."

She stopped talking as soon as she noticed the mint-green unicorn in front of her. Just like the equestrian ones that visited the earth 2000 years ago! And only a few people knew of their existence, although they didn't visited the earth since then.

She just wake up and see something amazing.

Bon-bon woke up from her unconscious state, just to wake up and see something amazing.

She was at a hallway of a city like manehattan, but this one was a lot more strange. The buildings were extremly high, the architecture was very odd, and they were light plates showing images of... no they couldn't be. She rubbed her hoofs against her eyes just to make sure that she was seeing right, and effectively, it was still there.

It was an advertising of a black brick made of glass, and... a human holding it. But this human was too detailed to be a simple drawing, the only thing that would make some sense would be that it was a photo, but that would mean that...

She rushed to the exit of the hallway. She was not prepared for what she saw.

Out of the hallway, they were lot, LOT of humans, REAL ONES! She was on the human world, but how?

All the people in the street stared at the little colorful pony that just appeared from that hallway. This make Bon-bon feel uncomfortable, since some of the tales about humans describe them as meat-eating monsters.

She was about to go back to the hallway, when suddenly a red metal monster stopped right in front of her. Then from the monster's inside came out a human colt, his father and... LYRA!?

"Bonnie!" shouted her friend as she rushed to gave her a tide hug. "How did you came here! I'm so happy to see you again! I thought I wouldn't see you in a long time!"

Sophia stared at the friends reunion as puzzled as her father, but then Sophia felt again the necessity of presenting herself. It was the right thing to do.

"H-Hi miss Bon-bon, right? Lyra told me about you, my name is Sophia." said Sophia as she extended her hand to the candy maker mare.

Meanwhile, at the hospital. Sophia's grandmother was still on bed. The doctors told the family that even though she woken up from the coma, she needed to rest, just to make sure than everything was ok.

"At least, if everything goes according to the plan, I'll be back at home in a week." she thought happily.

Suddenly, and without warning a portal opened in front of her. She could see the legendary Canterlot's castle, a building that she only heard stories about. The sight was beautiful until it closed as fast as it opened.

"Oh my God its happening!" she said with emotion. "Its happening! The friendship protocol! That explains Lyra's visit to this world. Oh, I've to tell them as soon as possible!"

Chapter V - Another special guest

View Online

At the city, a red car was moving very fast towards its destination. Inside their passengers were completely quiet, trying to process the fact that another pony arrived on earth. Except for Sophia, that wanted to know everything about the mare that looked like Bon-bon, the friend that Lyra told her about.

The red car arrived the house as their stunned passengers Sophia, Sophia's father, Lyra, and Bon-bon were getting down. Sophia was still talking with the new guest, since first, it was a talking pony! Second, was Lyra's friend! And last but not least, SHE WAS ALSO ON EARTH!

"I've told you, I don't know how I get here!" shouted Bon-bon.

"But what is the last thing you remember?" Sophia asked.

"Well I... don't know exactly," Bon-bon responded, "I was just at the museum, when a portal opened on the floor, my head get injured from the fall, oh, and I'M ON THE INFAMOUS HUMAN LAND!" she shouted as she began to suffer a panic attack.

"Calm down miss..." Sophia's father tried to say.

"Ah! don't eat me!" Bon-bon shouted as she spotted the teeth on the man's mouth.

"Why on earth would I do that." he responded.

Bon-bon stood still at the human comment, she followed him beacouse of Lyra's recommendation, but she wasn't sure about him or his daughter.

"Bonnie, I told you that humans were good creatures." said the mint mare. "They never saw a pony before! Or at least not an equus sapiens. And look how Sophia and mr. Oliver treated me. I'm pretty sure than they wouldn't try to harm you in any way."

"You think so." asked Bon-bon looking with fear at the humans. "Some stories say that they kill us just for fun."

"Well, honestly miss Bon-bon, I would never act against a defenseless lady like you." Oliver said. "I admit than I acted a bit mean when I first meet Lyra, but now that I know the kind of pers... 'pony' she is, I can tell that I was acting wrong. I judged her by her appearance and made a mistake, please don't make the same mistake that me." he said with a very large smile, a kind of smile that he didn't have since a year ago.

Sophia stared at her father for a moment, with her mind completely blown away.

"Did dad has just... care for Lyra?" she thought.

Bon-bon stared at the human, and the smile he was giving. If Lyra trusted this human, why she shouldn't?

"Sorry, mr. Oliver, I'm just very scared right now, and not quite sure about being able to return to equestria. So yeah, I'm stressed, and some things ponies told me about humans made me act like that. But I guess I was wrong." stated the earth pony.

"Don't worry to much." Oliver continued. "As long as you are on earth, you can stay with Sophia and me, and this time, for free!"

"Really!" Bon-bon shouted. "At your home?"

"Yes," the father stated with another smile, "now, how about we get inside so I prepare can all of us something to eat."

They were entering the house, but before Lyra entered, Oliver stopped her.

"Something's wrong?" she asked.

"No, I, well... just wanted to say thank you for saving my mother's life." he said with tears on his face. "T-the doctors said that she was probably never going to wake up and..."

He couldn't continue. He started crying.

It was time for diner, and Laura was using it very well. Working as a doctor was a very stressing, even more when you couldn't help the people that you are taking care of.

But today something very, VERY strange happened. An old lady at coma state waked up suddenly, even if her case was already a lost battle. But her family and a TALKING UNICORN came over her and wake her up. Now it was all over the news, they stopped their car before another horse looking alien and pick it up.

As much as her inner child would love to see a unicorn face to face, she had to believe that this was some kind of joke, or prank. Beacouse, TALKING LITTLE PONIES!? EXISTS!?

As she was thinking about these things, something happened to the floor her chair was on, something strange. It banished.

"What the..." she said before falling to the other side of the portal she fell into.

Her chair survived the fall, not as well as the portal that closed itself just as fast as it opened.

She stood up and examined her new environment, and she saw... something impossible. She was on a room made completely of crystal, and was extremely well decorated. And at the window to her left, it was revealed a town made out of crystal! CRYSTAL! And instead of people walking in the streets, she saw tons, and tons of these ponies, some unicorns, some pegasi, and some 'normal' ones.

"WHERE AM I!?" she shouted. "HELLO, HELLO."

"Ehem."said a voice from behind.

She turned back and she saw it, or her. It was a pink winged unicorn seated on her throne, her beautiful throne.

"What are you?" the mare asked.

Mr. Oliver was preparing some of his delicious pasta for all the girls, it was the least he can do to thank Lyra for everything she has done to help his family. And right now she was Sophia's friend, and also her friend.

"It smells very nice Oliver." Lyra said.

"Thanks Lyra!" he responded while mixing the tomato sauce he was preparing.

At the living room, Sophia was trying to calm down the new guest, as well as trying to obtain more information about how she arrived earth.

"...And then a portal opened on the floor, and I fell into it." Bon-bon explained. "I hurt my head, got unconscious, and woke up an that strange hallway."

"Maybe the portal opened beacouse of the earth amulet." Sophia spoke.

"Yeah, maybe." Lyra said as she entered the room. "Anyways, we can discuss it later. Now, who wants to eat pasta!"

The humans and mares positioned themselves across the table, and started their meal. Father and daughter were extremely happy for the events of the morning, and Lyra was more than happy to help humans with her magic. But Bon-bon was a little shy to talk during the lunch, or to talk in any form. Although she answered the questions 'Sophia' gave to her, she was very worried about this world and his inhabitants. Even if mr. Oliver and his daughter didn't seem with bad intentions, she still didn't trust them fully, but what other option she had? At least the pasta was delicious.

The four sapient beings continued their meal with a happy chatting, until Oliver's phone started ringing.

"Hi Bob." he said while contesting the call. "What's up?"

Bon-bon stared at the human device with fear on her eyes. The humans on the street pointed the strange circles on one of their surfaces to her, and she didn't know if that was good. Lyra noticed the fear on Bon-bon's face, so she spoke.

"Don't worry Bonnie, that device can't hurt anypony." she said with a calmed voice.

"If you say so." the other mare answered.

Meanwhile, at the call, the topic was one that the man hoped than didn't show up, at least not for today.

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING!?" Bob said at the other side of the line.

"Um... no." Oliver lied.

"TURN ON THE TV! ITS ON ALL THE NEWS CHANNELS!"

"But what?"

"If I told you you wouldn't believe me." Bob stated.

"Well then." the father said before ending the call, and searching for the remote app for the TV.

Bon-bon watched as at the other side of the dinning room a black painting turned on, as a human lady inside of it started talking.

"What the hay is that!" both mares shouted.

"Its a TV." Sophia answered. "Its like a cellphone but larger."

"...Today something without precedents happened." said the lady on the news. "It all started when at 10:12 AM of today at the goodhealth hospital a mint-green unicorn appeared with a girl and apparently her father. Here we can see videos than the people at the building were able to take. And they already passed the fake test these videos are 100% real."

All of the people and ponies in the room stared at the screen with mixed feelings between amazement and fear.

"...The group then showed up at the streets at 11:09 AM." the lady continued. "And then they found another horn-less pony, but very similar to the unicorn we saw earlier. After a hug, and some words, yes, words since these creatures are able to talk, the group went on their red vehicle and then disappeared from scene."

The father was about to turn of the screen, since everything on it was nothing that he wasn't expecting to happen. But then...

"...And 30 minutes later, in the whole city were starting to appear more of these creatures. Some of them 'normal', some of them with horns, and some of them with wings! The estimations talk about 30 of these creatures and increasing since the..." the lady couldn't finish his speech, since a portal opened in front of her as a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane appeared from it, and crashed into the camera, ending the transmission."

"Oh no," Bon-bon spoke, "Lyra, what you have done!?"

"I didn't do anything." the unicorn answered.

"Not even to the earth amulet?"

"No! I just took pictures of it." Lyra answered. "The blue beam was fired on his own!"

"Wait, blue beam?" Oliver asked.

"Let me explain everything I know," Lyra spoke, "but it might take a while."

"So, you are a hooman?" Cadence asked to Laura.

"Yes, a 'human'." Laura spoke. "Where am I?

"In the Crystal Empire's castle." the mare answered.

"And you said that there are only talking horses here?"

"Ponies, but yes." answered Cadence. "If you could excuse me I could write a letter to princess Celestia, the ruler of equestria, I think she spoke about some bipedal creatures before, she might be able to help you."

"If she could help me then yes." answered Laura.

Oliver's cellphone began to ring again, but this time, it was from an unknown number.

"Hello? Oh, mom!? Oh yeah, sure." he said as he putted the phone call on the speaker.

"Sophia, are you there?" Sophia's grandma spoke to everybody and everypony.

"Yes." Sophia answered.

"Lyra is with you? I want her to hear this as well."

"Yes, here I am!" Lyra's voice was shouted to the microphone.

"Ok, listen, maybe you'll have another special guest pretty soon."

"How did you know it magic box!?" Bon-bon shouted.

"Oh, it seems that it already started!"

"What started Ruth?" Oliver asked to his mom.

"The friendship protocol! If you give me a minute I can explain all of what's about to happen." Ruth stated.

Chapter VI - The friendship protocol.

"2000 years ago." Ruth stated. "Some ponies, from a world called equestria, accidentally opened a portal to the earth. When they appeared, they were captured, and almost killed on cruel and violent experiments."

This statement caused Bon-bon to stare with fear at the humans that where with her, but since she still trusted them, she continued listening.

"Well, the thing is, that the daughter of the scientists chief was a very crazy enthusiast of ponies; and convinced her father to see the human qualities on them. Eventually, he apologized to the ponies that were on his lab. He freed them, treated them well, and help the unicorns to find their way home. And the ponies forgive him and the other humans. It took them almost 2 years, but eventually they found their way home, and even the ponies invited the scientists to meet the princesses."

This made Lyra chuckle a little bit, as she thought. "Yes! I knew that humans could show compassion on their own. Oh wait, that is Sophia too... never mind."

"The princesses greeted the humans very well, although she was very curious about our world, and wanted to make further contact. The communications continued, and to make travel through worlds easier, Celestia, one of the princesses, created the earth and equestrian amulets."

"And if they had good relationships with that world rulers, what happened?" Sophia's father asked.

"That is where I'm trying to get." Ruth responded. "The thing is, that earth wasn't as peaceful as it is today. There were still nonsense wars going on, and some of the world leaders that would like to invade equestria to obtain their magic; as well as equestria, that wasn't completely out of ponies and other creatures, that would love to obtain human technology, even by force."

"And how do you know all of this?" Oliver asked.

"I'm getting there. Well, the thing is that princess Celestia noticed that the worlds where not ready for meeting each other. So she gave the earth amulet to those scientists, that keep equestria as a secret to the public, and the earth amulet to the ponies, as well as other gifts that those scientists gave to her. I know all of this beacouse our family is descendant of one of those scientists, my father told me all of this, and I tried to do it with you, but since you didn't believe me, I decided to teach it to Sophia."

"See!" Sophia shouted. "I told you that grandma wasn't crazy!"

"Sorry sorry," her father answered, "but I wasn't such a credulous child. I never though that those pictures were real, and not some kind of Photoshop. But, that doesn't explain what we saw on the news!"

"I'm getting there." the old lady repeated. "The thing is, that Celestia saw the great potential on uniting our societies, and created the friendship protocol. The friendship protocol is a spell placed on both of the amulets, a spell that would trigger at the moment the society it was on didn't face a war for at least 100 years, and a creature that could have a different species friend was nearby to the amulet. When the conditions were made on both amulets, they would start the spell by opening a portal so the two creatures can meet themselves and become friends."

"So that's what happened to me!" Lyra shouted. "Sophia and me triggered the friendship protocol!"

"But that still doesn't explain how I get here." Bon-bon spoke.

"I'M GETTING THERE!" Ruth shouted, tired of repeating the same thing over and over. "The friendship protocol doesn't stop there. The next step is than, after a few hours, it would start opening more portals between the worlds, and take the most kind inhabitants from world to world so they could start knowing each other. I would say that Celestia and the other princess, Luna, arrive at the earth to meet the human that triggered the equestrian amulet. And for what you told me, that is no other than Sophia."

"But how would they know how to find me?" Sophia asked.

"The amulet marked you, it would let the princesses know exactly where you are at any moment."

"Oh, so that was that blue beam." Sophia spoke. "But why would 2 magical princesses want to talk with me?"

"I don't know that. I just know the protocol, but don't worry. As far as I can tell, those princesses are the most kind and pure rulers in both worlds. They won't do any harm to you."

"Tia! Tia!" Luna shouted to her sister, as she entered the throne room. "Remember that magical alarm we connected to the earth amulet? The one that would let us know if the friendship protocol started?"

"Yes I do, please don't tell me that it broke again." answered her sun sister.

"Completely wrong Tia, It triggered! It triggered! The protocol has started!"

"Re-Really." Celestia said, trying to recover from the news. "I was starting to think that this day would never come! Prepare yourself Luna! We are going to visit the human world!"

Chapter VII - Very important guests.

Sophia, her father, and the two ponies that were at their home; were preparing everything for the princesses arrival. Sophia's grandmother had told them that, according to the friendship protocol, Celestia and Luna, the two rulers of the magical land of equestria, will arrive soon at their home to meet Sophia. The only detail than no even Ruth knew, was the reason of why such an important princess as Celestia or Luna will like to meet a 9 year old human girl.

"Quick! Quick!" Lyra shouted to Oliver. "First the tea cups, then the spoons. The princesses love tea. Wait, do you have tea, right?"

"Eh. No, I don't think so. But I've coffee."

"Coffee! That... will do." she concluded. According to Ruth the princesses could arrive at any moment, and they wanted to make sure to give the best impression possible. And even though they didn't have tea, it wold be better not to risk it, and end up meeting 2 inter dimensional princesses in a supermarket. "But make sure to add milk and sugar to it."

Sophia wasn't behind at her preparation for meeting the princesses, she was dressing herself as nice as she could to be
presentable to meet a princess, so she would wear her favourite green dress. Although she already knew tons of things about them. She knew that they were kind, patient, and with good intention; but she also knew other stuff more... specific; like Luna, that is a little jealous about her sister; or Celestia, that loves doing pranks, and eating cake.

"Wait, cake!" She thought. "I think we have some leftovers from father's friend birthday party. I'm sure Celestia would like some."

After finishing dressing herself, she went straight to the kitchen. She saw that Bon-bon was helping her father with the table, and that Lyra was trying to make coffee.

'Trying' since she didn't know how to use a microwave.

"Here, let me help you Lyra." Sophia said to her mint-green friend.

"Thank you Sophia." the mare responded with a smile. "How I'm supposed to use this cubical stove? Your father said than I could use this 'maicroweive' to heat the milk, although I don't know where the fire comes from."

"Here, you open this little door," the girl said as she opened the microwave gate, "put inside what ever you want to heat," she stated as she placed the milk cup inside, "then you close it, and push this button twice."

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

"And then?" Lyra asked. "When are you supposed to heat it."

"It's already heating." her human friend responded. "Now we just have to wait a minute."

"Heating already!?" the astonished green mare shouted. "Just like that. With no magic, flames, or anything. The human technology amazes me more every day! How does it works?"

"I don't know for sure. But my father is really smart! You should ask him how."

"Here it is Tia!" Luna shouted to her distracted sister at the museum. "The earth amulet!"

Celestia turned her head from the human painting of the 'French Revolution' to check at the reason of their visit to the ponyville museum.

They had donated that amulet to the human exhibition on ponyville's museum, in the hope that it could trigger the friendship protocol faster than in a forgotten vault of Canterlot. Although neither she or her sister expected to trigger so quickly, maybe they should have done this a long time ago.

But enough thinking. It was time for some magic! Celestia and Luna positioned themselves in front of the amulet, as their horns began to glow and envelop the old artifact.

"At the count of three." Celestia told to her sister. "One! Two!"

"Three!" Luna completed.

"Are you sure that a princess would like THIS cake." the father said to his daughter. "It has so much... sugar."

"Listen to her." Lyra spoke. "Celestia really loves sugar."

Everything was ready. The table set, the dishes from lunch clean, coffee with milk on the table, as well as the strawberry cake. And then they heard something outside, it was like... hoofs!

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. Someone, or they should say, somepony was outside.

"I'll go." Oliver said. "Wait them at the dinning room and, wish me luck.

As her father went to open the door, Sophia was very exited. She was about to met Celestia and Luna! The 2 rulers of equestria! According to the tales presented on her book, they were like heroes, and they wanted to meet her!

Oliver opened the door, and even if he was already expecting somepony like that, the sight of the 2 alicorn princesses stunned him on the door, leaving him incapable of making any sound.

"It's Sophia Collins in this house." the mare known as 'Celestia' asked to him. "I, Celesti and my sister Luna would like to talk to her."

"We-well." he spoke nervously, as he tried to remember how to act in front of royalty. "I-I'm Ol-Oliver Co-Collins. His father, and... well..." he stopped talking as he tried to do a reverence, which only confused both mares.

"Are you alright Oliver Collins?" the princess of the night spoke. "I know that you haven't seen anything like us before, but we aren't here to harm you or your daughter."

"No no no," he spoke, "it's just that, I... well... nevermind. She is inside, she is waiting you at the dinning room your highness. You can come inside your highness."

"Thank you Oliver." Celestia said. "And you don't need to refer to us as 'highness'."

"So-sorry your high..." he said, but then stopped.

The 2 inter dimensional mares entered the house, and, since they never entered the human world, the architecture of the house was a pleasure to their eyes. They never saw anything like it. The closest thing they knew to this house, were some buildings at Manehattan, but this, just takes that to other level.

Sophia and her friend Lyra were waiting at the table, both of them excited and scared to see the princesses. They were chatting loudly before the two alicorns entered the room.

" Lyra, are they as friendly as my book said?" Sophia asked.

"Don't worry my friend." Lyra responded. "Equestria couldn't be in better hoofs."

Just then they heard some hoofs approaching the room, an then they entered. They were exactly as Sophia's book described. Tall, white and dark blue, majestic.

"Are you Sophia Collins?" the white alicorn asked.

"Ye-yes." she said. "How did you know my name?"

"The amulet you saw yesterday marked you." Celestia said. "It let us know where you were, as well as your name. If you let me, I could explain you the friendship protocol."

"My grandma already told me about it. I knew you were coming, and I know who you are, so I brought you this." the young girl said as she offered the princess a slice of cake.

"For me!" she said as she levitated the plate, and almost eat it in a single bite.

"Tia!" her sister shouted. "Remember that we are here for establishing diplomatic relations with the humans, not for eating cake!"

"Wait." Sophia spoked. "Diplomatic relations!? Look, I know me and miss Heartstrings started all of this, but I'm not some kind of inter dimensional negotiator. I'm just a kid."

"Why not?" Luna asked. "You got everything you need to be the better one for representing human kind. That's why we are here."

"Beacouse that is the job of an politician! They have to be the ones that talk to you."

Celestia and Luna looked at each other, both with a smile on their faces. Lyra stared at the scene before her astonished. Not even in her wildest dreams she will picture the princesses talking to a human little girl about her to represent humanity at some inter dimensional negosiations. And her dreams were wild.

"Human politicians just seek for the benefit of their own nation, and in some cases, just their own interest. But you, you demonstrated that you want more than the benefit for your own race, you seek for friendship, something that, if reached, will bring our races a greater treasure than all the gold, magic, or technology in any world. And you already proved that you could make a good friendship with beings of other kinds." Luna said, as she pointed a hoof to Lyra.

"How did you know that we are friends?" The mint-green unicorn asked.

"You are very loud while chatting." Celestia stated. "We heard your entire conversation, and, I think that both of you had become very close in just one day."

Sophia looked to Lyra, which responded her with a smile; it was true. In the short time they were together, they become true friends. And even her father, the person that hated unicorns the most, has now changed, and has Lyra as her friend. It was clear that a serious politician could never have done anything like that in so short time, and she did it better than even she imagined.

"Princesses."

"Yes!" both mares responded.

"I wanna do it, I wanna help you to make human and pony kind friends."

Celestia and Luna celebrated in her minds, now, the friendship protocol could really start.

"Well then, let's get started!"

Chapter VIII - A very young ambassador.

View Online

Yesterday, it was a normal day. Nothing out of the normal for the director of the ONU, just some discussions about establishing the first moon base and stuff like that. Today, was NOT a normal day. It wasn't since weird talking horses began to appear all over the world; they seem friendly, but the chaos they were generating among the citizens was out of this world. It wasn't since a young unicorn colt appeared through a portal in front of her. And it wasn't a normal day since two of these horses, both winged and horned, appeared in front of her declaring that the young girl and mint-green unicorn along them will be the ambassadors representing her kingdom, a place called 'Equestria'.

"...And I want Sophia Collins," she said pointing to the human girl with a hoof, "and Lyra Heartstrings," now pointing to the mint-green unicorn, "to represent my kingdom 'Equestria' among the nations of humanity. Now, I understand that this is the place where the world leaders of each kingdom reunite themselves at peace."

"Ye-yes, it is." I said with a great amount of nervousness. "Bu-but could I ask what is the purpose of your visit? You don't plan to invade us, right?"

"Invade you?" she responded in surprise. "No no no no no, I would never do such a thing. My sister and I just wanna establish good relationships with this world; let the ponies of our world visit this at will, as well as letting the humans visit Equestria." at this statement, Sophia chuckled a bit. "We could show you ways to use our magic, as well as you could show us how to build such crazy kinds of machines."

"O-ok, I think I get it." I responded, then I looked to the young girl. "But wouldn't it be a better idea to pick up a more... 'older' representative?"

"Why?" she asked with a very concerned voice, as she wasn't fully expecting my question.

"Why!? Beacouse she is just a 10 year old kid!"

"Still, I don't see the problem with it." she answered to me as if that girl was a politician for a lifetime. "Also, miss Heartstrings has some university degrees in advanced math and communications; as well as being the pony that might know better the humans than anypony else. And miss Collins might be the human that best understands equestrian history."

"But, well..." My mind froze. How did I get to this point in my life? Talking to an inter dimensional alien pony princess about establishing relationships with humans. The day even started normal! And just in a matter of hours, the entire world was trying to understand the impossible. "I guess she... could..."

"Could?" she asked to me.

"Could give a speech at the emergency meeting of the ONU ambassadors tomorrow. She seems like a nice child, and she an her friend 'Lyra' could help to lower the tensions."

"Emergency meeting!?" the dark blue mare shouted. "What is the emergency?"

"Well, you."

"Oh, I get it. But we are not an emergency! We came here with the best possible intentions." the blue mare spoke.

"But they don't know that." I answered to them. "They are now even discussing some kind of military intervention."

"MILITARY INTERVENTION!" the white mare shouted with horror on her face.

"Don't worry princess... 'Celestia' it was just an idea during a zoom meeting, they won't do it as long as you prove that your intentions are the ones you proclaim. Tomorrow you and your 'little ambassadors' will have the chance to prove it."

All their faces, and mine, pointed to the two ambassadors position. They looked very scared about this, and I don't know if they could handle the stress of their tasks, mostly, I doubt about Sophia.

"Don't worry Isabel." the little girl spoke. "Me and Lyra will do our best tomorrow!"

"I hope that kid, I hope that."

Chapter IX - A very weird night.

View Online

It was 10:00 pm, and Lyra, Bon-bon, Sophia, and her father were at a luxury hotel that was very close to the ONU building. The day was very crazy from the beginning, but none of them hoped that it would end like this. Although none of them were unhappy with the results.

What they were, was nervous. Sure, Oliver and Bon-bon were very nervous for what Sophia and Lyra would say tomorrow at the ONU emergency meeting, but that was nothing compared to what the girls were feeling.

They were discussing at their room of what they would say at the meeting.

"...Then I'll present myself." said Sophia. "And I'll tell them that you had the best intentions when you first met me. I'll tell them than you even healed my grandma! I'm sure that at least that would make them think that your intentions are good."

"Yeah, but how are we going to convince them than all ponykind has the same intentions as I do. As far as they know, they could think that we are just some evil aliens that want to steal their water or something." the mare spoke.

"So then what's your idea?"

"Well I... don't have a better one, but I'm sure that we can come up with something! After all, we still have hours before the meeting even starts." Lyra was saying, until she remembered that. "Wait, princess Celestia is in this hotel as well! Maybe we could go and ask her what we should say tomorrow at the 'ONU'."

"Hey, that's not a bad idea!" Sophia shouted. "In which room she is?"

"Before leaving us alone, she told me that she would be at the maximum security room of this hotel. But she also said that if we need her help, we could go there and ask her for an advise." Lyra spoke.

"Well, what are we waiting for?"the little human asked with an excited voice. "Let's go and see the princess!

The girls went out of their room, and after closing the door, they went straight to the elevator to go to the higher floor, the floor in which princess Celestia was. Lyra was amazed at the elevator, she was wondering how humans didn't get tired of climb all the way up trough their excessively high structures, and now she know how: thanks to the elevator.

The two friends arrived at the last floor, and were immediately received by a black suit man that seemed a little nervous, but upset at the same time.

"What are you doing here? You shouldn't be at this area!" he said.

"Well, me and Lyra just wanted to talk with the princess."

"This is no place for little girls like you!" the guard shouted. "Only the ambassador is allowed to see the princess. I've orders to just let in the ambassador."

"But, we are the ambassadors!" Sophia and Lyra said at unison.

The guard now seemed very confused. "You, an ambassador?" he said to Sophia. "Come on kid, you need to improve your lies if you wanna..."

"Sophia, is that you?" a voice behind the door said.

After a few seconds; the door handle glowed light gold, and then the door opened revealing the white alicorn known as princess Celestia. She seemed confused about all the shouting that was outside her room, and she heard Sophia's and Lyra's voices, so she went to see what was going on."

"Why are you shouting?" she asked gently to the guard.

"For nothing miss." the guard said. "It's just that these girl is pretending to be your appointed ambassador."

"But she is my appointed ambassador." Celestia spoke firmly.

At this statement, the guard just froze. He stared at Sophia and Lyra, and asked himself: "The princess is serious but... how in the world she appointed this 10 year old girl as her ambassador!"

After a moment of awkward silence, Celestia spoke: "You wanted to see me, right?"

"Yes princess." Lyra said.

"Well then, come in." she said with happiness as she entered the room. And then, the 2 friends followed her.

The room was decorated with the same style that Lyra's and Sophia's room, but it was a lot, a LOT bigger that theirs. It occupied all of the floor, had a living room, a balcony, a snack bar... it even had it's own kitchen!

"What brings you both here?" she asked with a soft and gentle voice.

"Well... the thing is, that we are very nervous about the speech we should give tomorrow." Sophia spoke. "I mean, we don't even know what to say during the meeting that would convince them than you and the rest of the ponies that are here on earth are harmless."

"Don't worry Sophia." the princess responded. "I'm sure that your speech will be the best one that both of you had given in your entire life."

"How are you so sure?" the mint-green mare asked.

Celestia stood silent for a few seconds, until she broke the silence. "When I developed the friendship protocol, I used a spell to see the future, to know if the protocol would even trigger someday. And the only thing I was able to see, were you and Sophia at a speech."

At this statement, Sophia and Lyra froze for a bit.

"The speech that both of you gave to the public was one of the most well structured and emotional ones than I ever heard."

"What did we said in the meeting?" Sophia asked.

"I can't tell you that, otherwise I'll change what you would say tomorrow, and that's the last thing I wanna do." she said to the astonished girls. "Don't worry, both of you'll perform perfectly at the meeting tomorrow. What you need now is to sleep, otherwise you wouldn't be able to even stand on your hooves, and feet."

"Thank you princess." Lyra spoke. "I promise you that me and Sophia will give our best tomorrow. And yes, we'll go to sleep. Last night we didn't sleep that much. And it seems that Luna is asleep as well."

"Nope, she stayed in equestria to rise the moon and sun. Somepony still has to do that."

"Oh, then... see you later princess!" the mare said, as she and her friend approached the exit.

"See you later Lyra, and Sophia!"

"Those colorful horses are a great headache" the director of the ONU thought.

She was at her own hotel room, lying on her bed, thinking of what to say to the ambassadors of the other countrys. "How I would explain to them that the alien pony unicorn princess from another world appointed a little 9 year old girl to be her ambassador!? It's just so ridiculous! What was she thinking!?" she thought outraged. "Maybe it's just a silly tactic for us to low our guard and then invade us with a magical army or something! Maybe she is just sending her advanced ponies here to conquer the strategic positions! Maybe..."

BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP! her phone's alarm triggered in that moment.

"Great! I didn't slept in the whole night! Fantastic! Incredible! Amazing!" she shouted. "I just hope that their intentions are not to wipe out humanity. The peace was very hard for humans to keep to then be ruined by some alien ponies."
