> In the moonlight, comes a fighter > by Triple B Studios > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Mysteriously and familiarly > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a dark quiet night. You were finally done with work and you were told by your boss that as a promotion: you were given ten days off from work. Ten days off? You thought, throwing your fist in the air in exuberant joy, sweet! You turned off the lights in your office, grabbed your bag, made your way to the elevator, and exited the building. As you walked down a curb you stopped and glanced up at the midnight sky. The luminous moon graced the sky with its presence, causing you to smile in awe as the sky was painted in purple light accompanied by the twinkling stars. So beautiful, you thought, in awe of the moon’s radiant. Suddenly your thoughts withered away when you felt someone grab your shoulder pulling you into a long dark alley, then one of them threw you against a wall. You grunted as pain sprouted from your vertebrae - to your spine from the rough impact. Falling to your butt you glanced up to see not one but three men wearing black clothing. One was wearing a dark blue hockey mask, the other a dark greenish scarf wrapped around their neck, and the last wearing shades which you believe to be the leader. The leader reaches his right pocket pulling out a black five-seven pistol, pointing the barrel at you and smirking at you devilishly. “Alright man let’s make this quick,” he started straightforwardly, “give us some money or I’ll pop your head wide open, we clear? “B-But I—” The hockey-masked man chimed in. “Did you not hear what he just said? Now shut up and give us some damn money!” You raised both your hands pleading. “Okay, okay! just don’t shoot please..!” You stretched your arm towards your bag, unzipped it, and reached down digging and searching. You pulled your wallet out, opening it up before pulling out ten dollars and then handing it out to the three men. But judging by their expressions you could tell they didn’t look quite pleased as they looked as if you had twenty fingers. Without taking their eyes off you he pointed at the ten dollars you behold and asked bluntly. “Um. What the hell is this?” “T-That’s all I have.” You told them honestly, darting your eyes at the trio. Their eyes narrowed at you and one of them smacked their lips out of disappointment. “Wait, that’s it? Man, I want more than that!” The leader shouted. “I’m sorry I am but that’s all I have—” Your sentence was cut by the wind instantly knocked out of you. The leader kneed you in the chest with such force and fierceness causing you to fall shoulder first into the ground wrapping your arms around your stomach. Closing your eyes tightly whilst fighting back the tears. The hockey-masked man shook his head. “Man, what a waste of time…” “Come on guys, let’s just get out of here.” The other goon said, gesturing their hand towards the entrance of the alleyway. Their leader nodded before turning their head back at you. “Alright, right after I kill this little shit we don’t want anyone finding out about us.” You felt yourself quaking with fear as you felt the cold steel barrel plant against your forehead. If this was your end, then at least you lived your life the way you live it. You found yourself glad that none of your friends or family were in town. The man’s thumb cocked the gun back, you wondered if you would even feel the pain right after you die? You closed your eyes, you didn't want to see it coming. Forgive me, mom, you thought despairingly, mom I’m so sorry… Suddenly all four of you were alarmed when you heard a giant thud shake the ground, as if something big had just landed quickly. You and the men immediately stare far off in the direction of where said thud had landed. Standing from afar shrouded in smoke stood the silhouette of a tall figure, their glowing gradient blue eyes narrowing at the three men with intensity. Not given time to react, the mysterious figure started quickening from one spot—to stand right in front of the leader, due to running towards them at lightning speed. Before the leader could even fumble a few words, the figure knocks the gun out of his hand sending it flying in the air and jumps while spinning then used their left leg and kicked the leader so hard in the chest that his saliva began drooling down his mouth, then use her right leg and kicked his face with a powerful blow sending him to a pile of trash bags. The one with the hockey mask grabbed out his bat charging to hit them but she blocks it with her right arm and the bat exploded into pieces, he stood there shocked, fear paralyzing him from head to toe before getting punched square to the face with another powerful blow this time it was enough to not only put him unconscious but breaking his jaw altogether. You stood there watching all the men being taken down one by one while the last guy grabbed the gun off the ground firing all bullets at the mysterious figure. They jumped backward landing from behind him then chopped him on the back of his nape. You watch as their body collapses, knee-first to the ground. The smoke had begun to clear. The figure became visible and you were in awe when you saw them for the very first time. Standing over the man’s body stood a tall white-coated mare, clothed in a pink illusion shirt with a dark blue-ish skirt plastered with three rhombus diamonds. She wore a long-wrapped neck fuscia scarf and tight grey gloves. You couldn’t deny that she was quite beautiful, her purple mane and tail contrasting nicely with her white coat. She let out a disappointed sigh surveying all the three men she defeated. “What a bother, I was hoping for a challenge and this is what I get,” said the woman, placing her hands on her hips and shaking her head, “oh well what’re you gonna do…” She turns around to see you getting back on your feet while still holding your stomach. She rolls her body around and starts walking away. “Well, have a nice day, good sir.” Raising your hand you called. “W-Wait! Thank you very much, you know for saving my life.” She stopped in her tracks and just stood there. Silence eroded through the air and you started to get a bit nervous. Slowly she turned her head, her eyebrow perked up at you before rolling her body around and walking towards you. With every step, she drew closer instinctively causing you to back up against the wall in the blink of an eye. She was already in front of you as she placed her right hand on the wall. Her left hand rested on her hip and leaned her face close to you. “Um, was it something I said..?” You asked, balancing mixing feelings of bewilderment and robbery of your personal space. Her eyes fixated on your features - to your hair while humming in wonderment. “Hmmm…” She studies your face for what felt like an eternity then with a short gasp her face went from shock to a warm smile lifting her head back up and looking back at you. “Ahhh I knew it...I knew I recognized you, Darling!” “Wait wha—” She cuts you off by grabbing your tie and pulls you in. Pressing her lips against yours kissing you passionately. Your heart skip a beat when you felt her tongue pushing its way forcefully into your mouth wrapping itself around yours then pulling it out giving you time to breathe then plunging it back in kissing you more with her hand gripped on your hair not too tight and the other griped on the back of your sleeves. It went on for a minute until she finally pulled away slowly, licking your saliva off her lips and smirking at you. You stared back at her feeling blood rushing to your cheeks and parts of your saliva drooling down your chin. She gently cups your cheek to her hand and caresses it. “It's been too long Darling heh haha...far too long~.” She stated, stroking your cheek with such gentleness. You blinked, staring at her blankly. “D-Darling?” She placed her hand over her heart, almost appalled by what you said. “Wait, don't tell me you don't remember me..?” You looked at her again this time getting a better close-up of her facial features. You notice something familiar about her. Like being hit with a bolt of lighting your eyes widen when besides the change of her appearance you recognize her. Squinting your eyes you spoke. “Rarity..?” “Ohh, Darling! I knew you would remember me!” She cried in joy while wrapping her arms around your neck. As happy as you were to see her too, you notice something about her has changed. It was like one day she was a cute and indecent little filly then the next day she’s now a walking powerhouse. You wipe the saliva off your chin and lips and ask. “Um, what happened to you? “Whatever do you mean Darling?” Rarity replied, tilting her head. “I mean like, where have you been all these years? And what is with this getup you’re wearing? Why do you keep calling me darling? I thought you were gone, like "dead." “Hmm well darling I've been busy, things have changed during these past few years and as much as I want to answer your questions I can't, you see I'm in the middle of something so we'll have to save this little reunion for another time. She explained as she drew her finger on a nonexistent circle around your chest. “In the middle of what..?” You insisted. Rarity smirks at you. “Sorry darling I can't tell you, it is top secret. Anyway, I'm gonna get going but don't worry, I'll be back because we have SO much to catch up on.” Not giving you time to ask further she leans in and kisses you passionately again then pulls away whilst licking her lips. “Heh, ha, ha, ha, ha, wouldn't wanna leave without kissing you one last time my love, your lips taste so exquisitely khorosho. I'll see you soon, darling~.” With a great spring, she leaps backward laughing as she leaped from wall to wall disappearing over the roof so quickly you couldn't hear her anymore. After making a quick phone call informing the police you grabbed your wallet, shoving back into your bag, and rushed out of the long alleyway leaving the three out cold men there on the ground. You called for a taxi to take you back to your apartment and called it a night.
