> A Day With Pinkie Pie and Ronald McDonald. > by MLPonyPals > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Pinkie tries to tell a story. (While Ronald helps.) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "People with your birthday have: a fun personality. An adventurous spirit. And really big hooves. (More like big feet, in my case.)" Ronald chuckled to himself as he read his "Birthdays and You" book that he had received for his birthday this year. He closed it, trying to stifle a laugh as he spoke to his pink visitor. "You know Pinkie," he said, placing the book down on the table beside him. "This is a pretty funny book." Pinkie beamed a smile as she jumped off her own cushioned chair. "Don't let anypony tell you that we Equestrians don't give GREAT presents. Especially party planners like me!" Pinkie began bouncing around, giggling to herself, before she stopped and stared right at the camera. "Oh! It's you!" she said, grinning. Ronald looked up to the camera as well. "Well hi there! I didn't notice you there." he said, as he began to get up while dusting himself off. (But I did!" Pinkie said, triumphantly.) "This is my new friend Pinkie Pie!" the clown introduced, gesturing towards the pink pony. ("That's me!" Pinkie cut in.) "I met her at my birthday party last year when she suddenly arrived at McDonaldland! Pinkie sure gave a new meaning to the word: 'Surprise'!" ("I sure did!") "And she's been visiting to help throw parties for me ever since." ("You know it!") "You're going to keep interrupting me whenever I mention you, huh?" Ronald huffed. ("Yup!") Ronald plopped himself back down onto his chair with a defeated sigh. "Well you're well talkative, aren't you?" Ronald asked. "Uh huh!" Pinkie began nodding her head furiously. Ronald sighed again. "Did you get into my McCafe stock again?" he asked. Pinkie than began to shake incredibly fast, as if she were about to explode. "No." Ronald rubbed his forehead with his hand as he chuckled. "Well," he started. "Since you're so energetic, why don't you tell your side of my birthday party last year. After all, I've been wondering how you managed to get from Equestria to McDonaldland!" "Ooh!" Pinkie said. "Sure! I'll start at the beginning. So, a long time ago there was a place called Ponyville..." It was mostly a peaceful place where ponies could talk together, and have fun. But it was a very differemt Ponyville from the one of today. It wasn't even called Ponyville! In fact, it was an entire different world. In this world, there lived seven friends. Sweetheart, Starlight, Clover, Patch, Bon Bon, Bright Eyes, and Melody. They didn't do much. They didn't go on a lot of grand adventures. They just played together. However, the fans never connected with them, and those seven friends and the world they lived in were forgotten and destroyed. But th- "Now wait just a minute!" Pinkie stopped telling her story as she looked over to her clown friend, who was now sitting up straight, eyebrows raised. "What?" "Now just what story do you think you're telling me?" Ronald asked laughing. "Those aren't the names of your friends! At least not when I met them." "Well, duh! I was going to tell you about the part where a new world gets created when the first one disappeared! Ronald's eyebrows shot up higher than he thought possible. I'm sorry, what? Ronald asked mentally. He quickly shook it off though as he addresses Pinkie again. "I didn't want to hear about the beginning of your universe." he said. "You didn't?" "No. Just, start over. And this time, talk about you." "Okie Dokie Lokie!" Millenia have passed since the first world and a new one was created. "What did I just-" "Shush I'm getting to my part." ANYWAY, in this new world there existed a place called Ponyville. In this Ponyville "me", Pinkie Pie, lived with my six good friends. "But there are six of you in total..?" These friends were: Rainbow Dash (always dresses in style!), Scootaloo, Cheerilee, Toola-Roola, StarSong, and Swee- "Okay, this is getting ridiculous!." "What?" Pinkie whined. Ronald was laughing now. "I don't know if you're just doing this to be funny, (which, don't get me wrong, is working), but I know for a fact, those are not your friends." "But they are my friends!" "Well, okay, maybe they are, but not the ones that I met when I helped bring you back to Equestria last year! So, answer me straight this time, Pinkie Pie..." "Ok." "I don't wanna hear about other worlds, I don't wanna hear about your universe being destroyed and remade again. I want to hear about you, and your world." "Ohhhh..." Pinkie said. "Well why didn't you say so!" I was born on a rock farm with my parents and sisters Limestone Pie, Marble Pie, and Maud Pie! Life wasn't very fun on the rock farm though. Don't get me wrong, I love my family to pieces, (though maybe not to pieces, because that would probably hurt and I don't wanna hurt them or anything because they're my family and I love them and I hate seeing anypony sad or unhappy and especially hurt.), but that fact can't disguise the fact that life there was so booring! We basically just pushed rocks around everyday and sorted them It wasn't until I saw Dashie's Sonic Rainboom that I learned the true meaning of happiness! I had never smiled so wide in my life before that point, and I wanted nothing more than to share that happiness with everypony else that I know! So, I planned a secret party for family and hoped it would make them smile. And guess what? It DID! I managed to find a way to spread my happiness and cheer to them! And it was at that moment my cutie mark appeared, and I knew that my destiny was to be a party pony! "And that's my story!" Pinkie cried, posing triumphantly. "Very interesting!" Ronald said, applauding as he finished off his McDonalds' shake. Pinkie reached forward and took a sip of her own shake as well. "I know! And from that day on, I've been spreading cheer and happiness all across Equestria, and now, the McDonaldland, and the multiverse!" "Oh yeah," Ronald said. "You never actually mentioned that. How did you even get here?" "Oh THAT is what you wanted to know this whole time?" Pinkie asked, laughing. "I can answer that easily, and we don't even need a story transition! Basically, I volunteered to be Twilight's testing dummy for one of her new epic spells of universe travel that her and Sunset Shimmer worked on using a cool magic mirror portal. Basically, it went wrong, and I ended up here! then, I heard this Birdie friend of yours talking about a party, and I couldn't help but just, you know, HELP! And after that, we became friends and, you know the rest." Ronald stared at her. "That's what I've been asking this whole time!" he cried. Pinkie tumbled off her chair and onto the ground in a fit of laughter as Ronald watched in exasparation. Aw well, Ronald thought, beginning to laugh himself. You know what I always say, "wackiness is sure contagious!" And so the two spent the rest of their time exchanging stories and laughing along like the two wacky, crazy characters they are. (At least until Ronald brought Pinkie back to Equestria after her sugar crash, of course.)
