But on the eve of Christmas, Mikey, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, the CMCs, and Aria entered a portal summoned by a strange key that the siren had, only to find themselves in terrifying new forms! In the dead of night, thunder was heard crashing at Pinkie’s house as the party girl was tossing and turning in her bed.
"Looks like my favorite playmate is here." A dark voice evilly chuckled while in Pinkie’s dreams, she was running from something in the darkness. "You can run, but you can't hide." The dark voice provoked as Pinkie stopped and turned around, trying to bring out her weapon, but it was gone! "You honestly think you can fight me? This is too much!" The dark voice mocked as Pinkie realized that her geode was gone too! "You could never get me for years. I'll always be here to make YOU SCREAM!"
"No! No! Get away! Stay away from me!" Pinkie screamed as dark voice showed his eyes and mouth before his laughter got louder and louder, causing Pinkie to wake up in a terrified state. "Why… *Sniff!* Why is he back…?"
Pinkie’s bedroom door opened, revealing her big sister Maud. "Him again?"
"He was gone for months… but why come back now?" Pinkie whimpered as Maud hugged her.
"He’s just a bully, Pinkie. I know you can stand up to him." Maud gently chided as Pinkie hugged back with tears of fear and sadness.
Months later, Aria sat sadly on a rooftop staring at the skeleton key she had. "So much for that idea… Even Halloween was a no-go."
"Hey Aria, you okay?" Mikey asked as he, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash showed up.
"No." Aria answered before Rainbow Dash snatched her key away.
"What's this?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Hey! It’s important!" Aria shouted.
"Halloween is over, Aria." Pinkie said as three noticed Pinkie’s mood while the Crusaders showed up.
"You okay, Pinkie? You look like you had better nights." Aria asked.
"I don't want to talk about it." Pinkie answered while no one noticed the key sucking the Equestria magic from Rainbow Dash and her.
"Scoots? What’re you and the other Crusaders doing here?" Rainbow Dash noticed.
"Rarity is busy with a fashion show." Sweetie Belle responded.
"And Applejack is doing something important she couldn't explain." Apple Bloom added.
"So we thought we'd hang out with you guys." Scootaloo finished.
"Oh. Cool." Rainbow Dash noted.
"That's cool. Can I have my key back?" Aria asked.
"Sure… after you explain why you have something like this. Just wanna know, not being suspicious." Rainbow Dash replied.
"I will. Just be careful with it." Aria said before she and the others heard a click, before a jack-o lantern-shaped door with the nose as the doorknob appeared on a wall, before Rainbow Dash dropped the key in shock.
"What the?!" Rainbow Dash gasped.
"Oh, NOW it works?" Aria noted before the key shattered on impact with the ground. "NO!!!"
The door on the wall opened, revealing a portal as it sucked them in, before it closed after the group of seven were gone as the door disappeared.
Later, Rainbow Dash was the first one to regain consciousness. "Everyone okay?"
"Ugh… Yeah." Aria answered.
"Phew! That’s good to… hear…" Rainbow Dash trailed off while Aria found her gift scythe in the ground.
"Phew! It’s here!" Aria sighed in relief before Rainbow Dash screamed in horror, waking the others up. "What's wrong?"
The others raised their weapons against each other, much to Aria’s shock.
"Guys?" Pinkie noticed.
"Huh?" Mikey wondered in confusion.
"What the..." Rainbow Dash gasped.
"What happened to us? Why do we look like monsters?" Scootaloo asked.
"I’m not sure-Whoa!" Sweetie Belle yelped as her head fell off of her body.
"Sweetie Belle!" Apple Bloom shouted in horror.
"Your head just fell off!" Scootaloo gasped in shock.
"But… I feel perfectly fine." Sweetie Belle noticed while her body lifted its hands up, only to not feel a head on her shoulders and started looking around, before Sweetie Belle screamed. "Put me back on me!"
"Sure thing." Aria said before everyone saw her Gorgon body.
"Gorgon!!!" Scootaloo screamed as she and the others except Aria closed their eyes, as the siren was revealed to be turned into a woman with purple and turquoise snakes for hair and a purple serpent tail in place of her legs, making her shape like a Lamia.
"Oh, how I missed this body." Aria sighed in happiness.
"Huh?" The others wondered in confusion as Aria brought out a pair of sunglasses before putting them on her face.
"It’s okay guys, my glare only paralyzes others, not turns them into stone. And Rainbow Dash, thanks for getting me these sunglasses, so that way, my glare won’t have much of an effect at all." Aria explained.
"What's going on?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Oh, it’s just that me and my sisters have been here before, with Adagio being a Phoenix and Sonata being a Scylla, while I’m a Medusa. And if this place is what I think it is, then we’ll be in for a scary-fun time!" Aria answered.
"Well, what are the rest of us?" Pinkie added.
"Well Pinkie, you’re a Bride of Frankenstein, but it’s only the appearance and additional abilities. Mikey is a combination of his mutant self and a werewolf. Rainbow Dash is a ghost, so she can fly and become invisible or intangible. Sweetie Belle is a Dullahan, which is the combination of a headless horseman and a reaper. Apple Bloom is an Anubis, which explains the jackal fur, ears, nose and claws. And Scootaloo is a vampire, so she can turn into a bat or into mist to fly through the air and cracks." Aria informed as Rainbow Dash looked at her body.
"Whoa!" Rainbow Dash gasped in awe as Pinkie started generating electricity.
"Ooh! Sparky!" Pinkie awed in amazement as Mikey looked at himself.
"Dude! Fur and scales?! Awesome!" Mikey cheered in excitement as Apple Bloom started sniffing.
"Why do Ah have a sudden hankering for bones?" Apple Bloom noticed.
"At least your's is clean." Scootaloo responded while Aria spotted a familiar skeleton sneaking around.
"Me and the girls came here for a little spooky fun over the years. Made a lot of good friends that just want to make you… SCREAM!" Aria shouted before the skeleton leapt out and roared right behind Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, Mikey and the Crusaders, scaring them a ton, before the six heard Aria laughing from that. "Still got it after all this time, Jackie!"
"Oh, how I've missed our team-up frights, Aria." The skeleton happily said.
"You and me both." Aria agreed before she and the skeleton hugged. "Oh! And I got you something." Aria added as she gave the skeleton the scythe.
"This is perfect!" The skeleton said with excitement after an intrigued gasp before Aria noticed something on the his right wrist.
"That's a weird bracelet." Aria noted.
"Oh, this is the Soul Robber! I’m actually looking for new things to make Halloween scarier than ever before! And I was on my way back to Halloween Town. Wanna come along?" The skeleton offered.
"Sure, but first let me introduce my friends." Aria said as she turned to Rainbow Dash and the others. "Everyone, calm down. Jack looks scary but he’s harmless. He wouldn’t hurt a fly."
"Not completely true if it involves a certain fly." Jack corrected.
"Good point. Especially since the four of us fought him for the first time." Aria agreed.
"Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie." Pinkie introduced herself.
"I’m Mikey." Mikey said.
"I'm Rainbow Dash." Rainbow Dash added.
"I’m Scootaloo." Scootaloo continued.
"Ah'm Apple Bloom." Apple Bloom greeted.
"And I’m Sweetie Belle." Sweetie Belle finished.
"Where's Adagio and Sonata?" Jack asked.
"Back home. But they’ll be so excited when-Oh wait… The key got destroyed to get us here." Aria remembered.
"Not to worry. The doctor can make a new one." Jack responded.
"Thanks, Jack." Aria said in gratitude.
"Hey, he looks like the skeleton from the news." Pinkie noticed.
"Huh?" The other ninjas wondered in confusion.
"Oops!" Jack dreaded.
"Jack, what is she talking about?" Aria asked.
"Remember Christmas two years ago?" Jack replied.
"Yeah." Aria answered.
"That skeleton… That was me." Jack said before Aria hit him hard on the face, causing his head to spin before he stopped it. "Yep. I deserved that."
"How could you do something so stupid?!" Aria asked in frustration.
"I didn’t know about the other Holidays, and I thought that I could give one a try." Jack explained.
"Dude, you caused a major panic!" Mikey pointed out.
"Yeah, and I realized what a terrible mess I made. So I went back home to get Sandy Claws back, only to find out that he had been captured." Jack added.
"I have a pretty good idea by who did that." Aria noted.
"Good. But I managed to beat him and save Sandy Claws and apologize for the disaster I caused." Jack finished.
"At least you learned your lesson." Aria responded.
"And Sandy Claws saved Christmas." Jack added.
"So, where's town?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I can lead you there." Jack offered.
"Lead the way." Pinkie said as she and the others followed Jack.
Meanwhile, inside a hidden lair...
"Where is she?!" The dark voice from before asked.
"Where is who?" A young boy in a devil mask and costume responded in confusion.
"That pink baby!" The dark voice answered.
"You can't find her?" A young girl in a witch mask and costume asked.
"Yes!!! And that means that she’s with that goody two-bones Jack Skellington!" The dark voice realized.
"So what? She's utterly terrified of you so it’s not like she'll want to fight you." A young boy in a skeleton mask and costume pointed out before he and the other two flinched, thinking they'll get hit.
"You know what? You're right." The dark voice noticed.
"Huh?" The three masked children asked in confusion.
"She's so scared of me, I don't need to even try fighting her." The dark voice said.
"Nice save there." The devil-costumed boy admitted.
"Hehehe! But not fighting her doesn’t mean I can’t still haunt her." The dark figure laughed.
"Can we hurt her?" The witch-costumed girl asked.
"Anything that scares her!" The dark voice confirmed as his figure flipped a switch. "Let the nightmare begin!" The dark figure declared as it laughed maniacally.
Soon enough, Jack, Aria, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, Mikey and the Crusaders arrived in Halloween Town Square.
"That’s strange… The town’s deserted…" Jack noticed as Aria slithered to the Gatekeeper booth.
"Clown, you in there buddy?" Aria asked.
"Clown?!" Pinkie gasped in excitement as she and Aria looked, only to find nothing, making the medusa start panicking.
"Corpse Kid! Behemoth! Igor! ANYBODY!" Aria yelled before Mikey covered her mouth.
"Quiet, Aria. I don't like this." Mikey noted.
"Yeah. Too much silence and emptiness is bad news." Rainbow Dash agreed before the gate suddenly closed and locked itself, as everyone drew their weapons.
"Please tell me this scythe is combat worthy." Jack hoped.
"Definitely." Aria answered before a skeleton appeared behind them as Jack turned around.
"Oh! I don’t believe we’ve met. I’m Jack. Jack Skelli-" Jack started to introduce himself before the skeleton attacked as Jack jumped back, dodging it before more skeletons appeared, with Jack readying his scythe and Soul Robber. "You… You’re not from Halloween Town, are you!?" Jack realized as more skeletons soon appeared and started attacking. Jack swung his right arm forward, launching a gooey spearhead attached to the soul robber at a skeleton before it came back to him.
One came at Rainbow Dash from behind, but passed right through her into Mikey’s fist. "Whoa! Did not see that coming." Rainbow Dash admitted.
"I wanna try my new powers." Pinkie said as she added some electricity to her weapon before attacking a skeleton, launching it at a few others, destroying them.
"Soul Robber!" Jack shouted as he thrusted his right arm forward again, this time, causing the gooey vine to grab a skeleton before he swung it up and down then threw the skeleton at another.
"Jack, behind you!" Aria called out before Jack swung his scythe and destroyed three skeletons.
"What are these things?" Apple Bloom asked while fighting skeletons.
"Can’t you tell that they’re skeletons?!" Scootaloo pointed out as she fought some skeletons.
"I think she means are these normally here in Halloween Town." Sweetie Belle explained.
"They’re not from Halloween Town!" Jack answered.
"I've never seen them either." Aria agreed as she crushed some skeletons with her lower half.
"That means they’re enemies!" Rainbow Dash noticed as she drew her naginata before the announcement alarm went off out of nowhere.
"Testing… Testing… Is this thing on? My dearly abhorred denizens of Halloween Town. This is Oogie Boogie speaking! Today I bring you a joyous announcement. First of all, in place of Jack Skellington, yours truly is now the new ruler of Halloween Town! And secondly, as of today, this very hour, this exact moment, I declare this town’s name will be changed to Oogie Town! Bahahahaha!" The voice laughed before there was feedback, ending the message.
"I know that voice..." Pinkie wondered.
"Oogie…!" Aria growled, and when the last Skeleton was smashed, the eerie silence returned.
"What happened while I was gone!?" Jack thought aloud in concern before he and the others heard something. "Someone’s inside!" Jack noticed before a familiar face appeared.
"Hyde!" Aria gasped in happiness.
"I’m not making any more traps!" Mr. Hyde declared before noticing Jack and Aria. "Oh, Jack! It’s you! And Aria! You’re back!" Mr. Hyde realized before Aria hugged him, as the monster hugged her back.
"What exactly happened while I was gone?" Jack asked.
"Lock, Shock and Barrel sewed Oogie back together again!" Mr. Hyde answered as a mini Hyde revealed himself as he lifted Mr. Hyde’s hat. "Bugs, bags and all." Hyde added before a smaller mini Hyde revealed himself the same way the other mini did. "Oogie is back!" Mini Hyde agreed. "Dr. Finkelstein proposed a plan for the next Halloween. He said you wanted a ‘Dangerous Halloween,’ so we organized one to make you happy. He said if we didn’t, you might never come back…"
"But, we never hurt people." Aria pointed out.
"Do you think using ghosts and skeletons to hurt people is my idea of a good Halloween!?" Jack questioned in shock.
"We just wanted you to come back. We set up booby traps all over the place, but then hordes of ghosts and skeletons appeared out of nowhere, attacking everyone. Soon it wasn’t even safe to be on the streets." Mr. Hyde answered.
"That's why the town is so empty." Mikey noticed.
"Hmm? Who are they?" Mr. Hyde asked. "They seem new." Hyde noted. "Maybe visitors."
"I've made a lot of new friends." Aria informed.
"Oh! I see!" Mr. Hyde noticed.
"This is a disaster! We've got to find the doctor!" Jack informed.
"I think we should split up into teams and look around. Jack, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie will check town hall. Mikey and I will check out the gate to Jack’s house and the Crusaders will look around to find anyone else in town." Aria ordered.
"I'll sneak around town for information." Mr. Hyde added.
"Be careful." Aria said in concern.
"Girls, let's get inside." Jack declared.
"Alright!" Rainbow Dash agreed.
"Yippee!" Pinkie cheered as she and the other two walked inside, while Jack was annoyed by the mess of the Town Hall.
"What a mess." Jack sighed before he, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie saw something dark coming out of the floor. "What’s this!?"
"Well, well, well... I was right. The crybaby is with you!" A dark voice realized, making Pinkie's eyes shrink in a terrified expression.
"Oh no…" Pinkie dreaded in horror before a figure emerged with a roar, made by shadow and darkness as his eyes and mouth glowed yellow.
"Jack!" The shadowy figure roared as Pinkie ran out screaming.
"I don't know what you did to her, but I know I don't like it." Jack said in anger.
"Hahahaha! I’ve been scaring her ever since she was in preschool!" The shadowy figure laughed as Rainbow Dash tightened her grip on her weapon in rage.
"I hate it when people bully my friends. But scaring Pinkie most of her life? That’s a definite no-no!" Rainbow Dash growled in absolute rage as Jack snapped his boney fingers and the music begun.
Shadow Oogie: Well, well, well, Jack the Pumpkin King!
Finally made it, huh? Ooh, I've been waiting!
So how do you like my Oogie town? (Evilly laughs)
Jack: It's over!
Rainbow: It's over!
Jack: This time, you’ve gone too far!
It's over! I'm serious! Just who do you think you are?
Just because you fooled the town doesn't make you king! You better give up, surrender now, I'm fixing everything!
Evil ghost appeared and started attacking.
Shadow Oogie: That's what you think! Ha! But you couldn't be more wrong! And this will be the last time you hear the boogie song!
Wow~!
More ghosts appeared and started dropping dice bombs.
Ghosts: Wow~!
Shadow Oogie: Wow~!

Jack: Oogie, what have you done to everyone?
Shadow: They are all under my control, just like the crybaby!
Rainbow Dash: I guess you’re so proud of your booby-trapping schemes, but I’ll tell you that you’ll be ruler only in your dreams!
Shadow Oogie: That’s funny, Dash! It WAS a dream, but now it’s coming true! ‘Cause even my mere shadow knows Jack’s days as king are through!
Jack and Rainbow kept hammering the Shadow and his ghosts.
Shadow Oogie: Wow~!

Jack: I’m the Pumpkin King!
Rainbow Dash stabbed her weapon into the shadow, making him scream as Rainbow Dash flew back before Shadow Oogie started sinking into the ground. "Beginner’s luck if you ask me. Don’t worry. We’ll meet again! Especially the pinky baby!" The shadow laughed as he waved goodbye before disappearing.
"That... That was the Boogie Man?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I’m afraid so." Jack answered before he and Rainbow Dash saw sparkles falling in the air and looked up.
"Huh?" The duo wondered as a familiar jack-o lantern door floated down to them.
"That’s the Halloween Holiday Door! Now what in the world is that doing here?" Jack thought aloud.
"It’s that door from before!" Rainbow Dash realized.
"Something is wrong." Jack noted.
"We'll help figure out what's wrong. But let's find Pinkie first." Rainbow Dash pointed out.
"Agreed." Jack nodded as he and Rainbow Dash left the building with the holiday door.
Everyone returned to the fountain area as another familiar face appeared, before they noticed that Pinkie was missing.
"Corpse Kid!" Aria gasped with a smile.
"Jack! Aria! Welcome back!" Corpse Kid responded.
"I missed you, little buddy!" Aria said in happiness as she hugged the undead boy.
"Did you see a Frankenstein girl rush by?" Jack asked.
"Yeah, she literally fell apart and went into that trash can." Corpse Kid answered.
"Keep watch. If you see Oogie's monsters coming, hide." Aria told Corpse Kid.
"Okay." Corpse Kid replied.
"Pinkie, get out of the trash can." Mikey requested the party girl as Pinkie peeked out of the trash can.
"Is he gone?" Pinkie whimpered in fear.
"Who?" Apple Bloom asked in confusion.
"Don’t worry, he’s not here anymore." Rainbow Dash answered her scared pink friend.
"Just send me back home. I don't want to fight him." Pinkie trembled.
"Dude… What happened? Where’s that bright and go-party attitude?" Mikey asked in shock.
"Just send me home!" Pinkie shouted.
"This isn’t normal of you, Pinkie. What happened?" Aria asked in concern.
"Oogie Boogie. He's been terrorizing me since I was in preschool." Pinkie answered, making Aria really angry at the boogey man.
"Pinkie, I'm truly sorry that happened to you. But we need your help to stop him." Jack responded.
"We'll be right behind you, Pinkie." Sweetie Belle added.
"R-Really?" Pinkie asked.
"Yeah. Now, come out of the trash can." Aria answered.
"I can't." Pinkie responded.
"Stuck?" Mikey assumed.
"Yes. Help! Get me out of here!" Pinkie yelled.
"Okay. Me and Aria are going to the Witch's Shop. The rest of you scout the Pumpkin Patch." Jack ordered.
"Okay." Rainbow Dash responded.
"Wait, we found this note by your house." Sweetie Belle pointed out.
"Let me see." Jack said as he grabbed the letter.
"It's from the mayor." Aria noted as Jack opened the letter and read it.
“Jack.
In your absence I held an assembly, and the whole town made plans for the scariest, most horrible Halloween yet. By the time you read this letter, I trust Halloween Town will be most positively horrific! Rest assured, next Halloween will not disappoint you!
Nov. 15, The Mayor”
"November? That was weeks ago." Scootaloo noticed.
"Let's get moving, everyone." Aria urged.
"Gotcha!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she got Pinkie out of the trash can, but the party girl’s body was all mixed up. "Aaaaand I’ll take care of this." The athletic girl added as the ghost used her geode’s super speed to put all of Pinkie’s parts in the right places within seconds.
"I'm sorry guys." Pinkie apologized.
"The important thing is that we work together." Jack said as the group separated into two directions.
Meanwhile in Halloween Town, Jack and Aria walked to the Witches Shop, before a gate popped out of the ground straight out of nowhere.
"That can’t be good." Aria dreaded as skeletons rose out of the ground and charged towards them.
"Looks like Oogie isn’t going to make this easy for us." Jack noted as he readied the Soul Robber and his Scythe.
"Good. I need a work out." Aria smiled.
"Very well." Jack replied as he and Aria started fighting the skeletons.
While they fought, a mischievous trio stared down at them from the shadows.
"Great. They're here to ruin our fun." Lock groaned in annoyance.
"Wait, doesn’t that snake lady look familiar?" Shock noticed.
"It's Aria." Barrel answered.
"What?!" Lock and Shock gasped, completely caught off guard.
"And she warned us." Barrel added.
"About what?" Shock asked.
"If we cause trouble... Lunchtime." Lock answered.
"If we get caught." Shock added.
"Let's leave." Barrel said.
"No, I’m sure Mr. Oogie would want her gone too, so let’s wait for them at the cemetery." Lock responded as he and the other two trick-or-treaters before the duo destroyed the last skeleton.
"You ever felt like you're being watched Jack?" Aria noticed.
"Many times." Jack answered as the duo walked inside.
"Jack! Aria! You’ve returned!" Small Witch said in joy.
"Hey ladies, been a long time." Aria responded with a smile.
"Much too long." Big Witch agreed.
"Is it true? The whole town is booby-trapped?" Jack asked.
"Oh, it's too embarrassing to talk about." Big Witch answered.
"Any ideas where Oogie might be?" Aria requested.
"His skeletons are unusually thick in the cemetery. Maybe try there." Small Witch informed.
"Thanks." Aria said in gratitude.
"Good luck." Big Witch responded as Jack and Aria went back to the fountain square, and found the others completely exhausted.
"What happened to you guys?" Aria asked.
"We went into the Pumpkin Patch and got swarmed by Oogie's ghosts." Mikey answered.
"We tried to fight them, but they just kept coming." Pinkie added.
"What about the main gate?" Aria questioned.
"No good. I tried phasing through, but I still smashed into it." Rainbow Dash answered.
"That means we need to find Clown." Jack realized.
"Sorry Jack, but I don't know where he or anyone else is." Corpse Kid said before Pinkie noticed the sewer manhole cover rumbling.
"What about there?" Pinkie pointed out.
"You guys ready to fight?" Aria checked.
"I am." Mikey answered as Pinkie, Rainbow Dash agreed.
"Okay Apple Bloom, you and your friends stay behind and keep watch." Jack ordered as the Crusaders agreed before he and the ninjas went down into the sewers and the skeletons attacked.
"Incoming!" Rainbow Dash yelled as Jack latched his scythe to the Soul Robber and began to spin around.
"I am the Pumpkin King!" Jack shouted as the skeletons were pulled into his attack and cut to ribbons. Any skeletons trying to flee were kicked into the attack. When they were destroyed, the sound of a unicycle was heard.
"Wait, that sounds like…" Aria noticed as she and everyone else saw the Clown with the tear-away face wheel out of his hiding spot.
"Jack! Aria!" Clown shouted in happiness as Aria hugged him.
"I missed you, buddy." Aria said in joy.
"No need to panic. You can calm down." Jack added, calming his friend down.
"I can't tell you both how happy I am to see you two. But who are your friends?" Clown asked.
"People who are going to help. But right now, we need to get to the cemetery." Aria responded.
"We need you to open the main gate." Jack added.
"It’s been so dangerous out there I locked the gate and hid here. Now don’t get me wrong, I like a good scare… But those things bite! Oh you want the gate key? Now, where did I put it? Hmm, did I eat it? Hmm… I’ll open the gate once I find it." Clown said as he and the others made their way out of the sewers and back to the gate.
As Clown opened the gate, Mikey decided to ask a question. "Hey Aria, how'd you and the others get here to begin with?"
"Well…" Aria paused.
"It's going to be a while, Aria. Might as well tell them." Clown insisted.
"Okay." Aria said while everyone got comfortable as she started telling Aria and her sisters' first adventure in Halloween Town. "While me and my sisters were looking for a way home, we found ourselves in a strange forest that had seven trees in a circle that had strange doors on them."
"The Hinterlands." Jack simplified.
"Yep. My sisters and I opened the jack-o lantern-shaped door, only to find nothing, or so it seemed." Aria continued.
"And you got pulled in like we did." Sweetie Belle noted.
"Yeah, then we found ourselves as a Phoenix, a Medusa, and a Scylla." Aria confirmed.
"You freaked out like us?" Rainbow Dash assumed.
"Definitely, and you should’ve seen Adagio! It was so hilarious!" Aria laughed.
"When they arrived in town, everyone got a little too... Excited." Jack added.
"Excited was an understatement." Aria pointed out.
"Yeah, sorry about that Aria. Honestly, we weren't trying to scare you guys. We just wanted to welcome you guys openly." Clown apologized.
"I know, Clown. After things calmed down, everyone apologized for the unintentional scare." Aria continued.
"But how’d you meet you-know-who?" Pinkie asked.
"Well, we noticed giant bugs and bags filled with them started attacking people in Halloween Town." Aria answered.
"Talk about a pest problem." Rainbow Dash quipped.
"Besides, Jack’s first weapon at that time was… Whew! Frog’s Breath." Aria added.
"Ewwww." The other ninjas gagged.
"The food here is disgusting, but not bad after you get used to it. We met a lot of new people and Jack got new abilities and weapons too, same with me and my sisters. I’m still surprised that we still survived from being melted by leeches and acid bathes, and being stretched out by stretchy ghosts." Aria remembered.
"Skip ahead." Mikey said.
"Okay. We managed to find Oogie, and managed to make sure that he never left his hideout. But we also met those three Trick-or-Treaters, Lock, Shock and Barrel." Aria finished.
"Those three sound as sharp as a doorknob." Pinkie noted.
"You won’t believe the pranks they pulled on me and my sisters." Aria said.
"So how did you guys leave here?" Scootaloo asked.
"Dr. Finkelstein gave us a key that connects Halloween Town to the Human World. *Sigh...* It was connected to the Equestrian magic we still had." Aria answered.
"Wait, you mean that…?" Rainbow Dash caught on.
"After you guys destroyed our amulets at the Battle of the Bands, we couldn't fuel our keys up to get us here." Aria confirmed.
"Oh… Cupcakes…" Pinkie groaned.
"Sorry." Rainbow Dash apologized.
"It's fine. We deserved it." Aria responded before the gate suddenly opened.
"I got the gate open for you guys." Clown said.
"But not before some of Oogie’s baddies grabbed Sally and carried her off toward the cemetery. I’ve heard the cemetery is pretty dangerous these days. I hope she’s okay." Corpse Kid added in concern.
"What!? Took Sally!? That’s it, no more Mr. Nice bones." Jack growled.
"Whoa, Jack. Who's Sally?" Mikey asked before Jack ran off instead as Aria giggled at that.
"Wanna clue us in, Aria?" Rainbow Dash requested.
"Oh. Well, let’s just say that Jack and Sally are a thing." Aria answered as the other ninjas followed Jack. "Lock the gate behind us and don't let them through."
"Got it." Clown responded as Aria left to catch up with the others.
Outside Halloween Town, Jack, Aria and the others arrived at the Tomb of Tears in the graveyard.
"Jack, calm down." Mikey said.
"But Sally could be in danger." Jack argued.
"We'll find her. First you got to tell us who she is." Pinkie responded as Aria giggled again.
"She's... Uh, Dr. Finklestein's assistant and a... Close personal friend of mine." Jack stammered as the other ninjas were confused before Pinkie figured it out as lightning shot out for both sides of her neck.
"You love her." Pinkie said as the rest of the ninjas except Aria were surprised while Jack’s head fell off before he tried to catch it.
"Well... Love is a strong word." Jack replied.
"Let's just look around. The cemetery isn't that big. She's got to be here somewhere." Aria informed.
"Right." Jack agreed as the group went forward, before they encountered more enemy skeletons.
"Great. These things are here, too." Mikey groaned as he smashed some skeletons with his fists and nuchucks.
"The witches did say that their bones are unusually thick here." Aria noted as Jack sliced another one, before he noticed the fallen tombstone.
"Huh?" Jack wondered.
"Jack, behind you!" Scootaloo shouted as a skeleton pounced but got electrocuted by Pinkie.
"Shocking, isn’t it?" Pinkie punned as the skeleton she shocked was reduced to ash.
When the last skeleton was destroyed, Aria saw a tree walking. "Hey, is that…?"
"It's just a tree." Apple Bloom said.
"No… Come on!" Aria urged as she slithered off.
"Hanging Tree!" Jack noticed as he followed Aria.
"Hanging what?" The other ninjas asked in confusion as they, Aria and Jack arrived at a giant tree and met up with the walking tree that Aria saw.
"Aria?" The Hanging Tree wondered.
"Yeah!" Aria answered.
"It's been a long time." The Hanging Tree noted.
"It has been." Aria agreed.
"And Jack. You’ve come back." The Hanging Tree added.
"Hello Hanging Tree. Hmmm? What happened to your Hanging Men?" Jack noticed.
"Ever since Oogie Boogie and his monsters came to town, my Hanging Men have been hiding all around the cemetery. I’m afraid that Hanging Men aren’t very brave." The Hanging Tree answered.
"Are they okay?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"I hope so. Hmm? Who are they?" The Hanging Tree noticed.
"Good friends of mine who want to help save the town." Aria answered.
"That’s great to hear!" The Hanging Tree said in joy.
"I guess we’re both missing people. I’ve lost Sally… You haven’t seen Sally, have you?" Jack asked.
"No, but maybe my Hanging Men have seen her." The Hanging Tree informed.
"Well, any clues where they're hiding?" Mikey asked.
"I’m afraid not." The Hanging Tree answered.
"Hmmmm… we’d better find them. We could really use Zero’s nose at a time like this." Jack noted.
"I bet you’ll find Zero in his grave." The Hanging Tree noticed.
"Oh, I love playing with Zero!" Aria said in happiness while the other ninjas were a bit disturbed though.
"Grave?" Mikey, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash and Crusaders asked in concern.
"Don't worry. Zero is harmless." Jack assured.
"Hanging Tree, please stay here until it's safe." Aria said.
"But of course." The Hanging Tree responded as Jack and the ninjas turned around to head to Zero's grave. As they walked back, they heard the sound of singing.
"Oh, goodie. Tweedledumb, Tweedledumber, and Tweedledumbest are coming." Aria sarcastically said as the Crusaders got a bad feeling about what’s coming next, before three kids came from a gate in a walking bathtub while singing as they unmasked themselves.
"Lock!" The devil-costumed boy started.
"Shock!" The witch-costumed girl continued.
"Barrel!" The skeleton-costumed boy finished.
"Hmmm… I might have known." Jack noted.
"Welcome home, Jack." Lock greeted.
"How was your trip, Jack? And welcome back, Aria." Shock said.
"Are you having fun, Jack? And who are these new faces?" Barrel asked.
"Can it, Lunchmeats! I have a feeling you three are up to no good." Aria hissed.
"Yes. You three wouldn’t have anything to do with Oogie’s return, would you?" Jack assumed.
"Who?" Lock asked in fake confusion.
"Us?" Shock asked in feign ignorance.
"Oh… uh… um…" Barrel stammered.
"It’s not too late. Return this town to order, immediately!" Jack ordered.
"Why would we do that?" Lock asked
"The fun has just begun!" Shock declared.
"Besides, we’re on a secret mission to stop you and the others! Don’t tell anyone though! He he he heh!" Barrel snickered before Lock bonked him on the head with his plunger as the devil-suited boy jumped out of the tub.
"See ya later!" Shock said as the tub left with her and Barrel before gates rose out of the ground straight out of nowhere.
"Now you’ll have to play with me." Lock declared as he donned his mask before skeletons rose from the ground.
"I hate you three." Aria groaned.
"Why thank you!" Lock said in gratitude as he jumped onto a tombstone before the skeletons attack while everyone defended themselves as Lock watched.
"Why is that kid not helping us?" Apple Bloom asked while smashing some skeletons.
"Because he’s one of Oogie’s goons." Aria answered as she crushed a few skeletons with her tail and coil grip.
"Not very smart." Sweetie Belle noted as she cut up some skeletons with her claw weapons.
"He’s a kid, whaddya expect?" Aria said as a skeleton grabbed Sweetie Belle's head and pulled it off.
"What the?!" Sweetie Belle gasped as her body noticed its head was gone as it tried to find it, before Rainbow Dash phased through and grabbed it.
"Okay, that was almost getting outta ‘head.’" Rainbow Dash quipped as she put Sweetie Belle's head back on her body.
"Why do I get the useless body?" Sweetie Belle whined as the other two crusaders shrugged, not knowing how to answer that.
"Just fight with what you got." Pinkie said while electrocuting some skeletons.
When Jack cut the last one, Aria started squeezing Lock. "I've been wanting to eat you for a long time."
"Uh-oh!" Lock dreaded as he used a smoke bomb he somehow managed to swipe to blind Aria and the others, managing to get away.
"You should've just let me eat those brats the first time Jack!" Aria growled.
"Now Aria, you know I like to give people the benefit of the doubt." Jack reminded.
"But those three troublemakers never change!" Aria retorted.
"Uh Aria, what exactly do you mean by eat?" Mikey asked as a rat scurried by, before Aria’s tail grabbed it and tossed the rat into the air.
"Well, I just hope that Fluttershy doesn’t take the answer too hard if she asks." Aria answered as she grabbed the falling rat with her mouth and started eating it, while needless to say, the other ninjas were shocked. "My sisters and me were here for weeks. We had to eat what we got." Aria explained before Sweetie Belle started feeling queasy as the skin of her entire head turned sickly green before Aria spat out the skeleton when she was done. "You’ll get used to it."
"Zero, come here boy." Jack said as he patted his knee before a ghost dog emerged from the ground in front of Zero’s tombstone. "There you are, Zero!"
"Hey Zero, remember me?" Aria asked before Zero licked her face in happiness, making Aria laugh in joy.
"Zero, we need to find the Hanging Men. Can you help us?" Jack requested as Zero barked with a nod.
"Okay boy, lead the way for us." Aria said as Zero then flew off to find one of the Hanging Men.
"Follow that dog!" Rainbow Dash shouted as Zero circled over the first, but Aria noticed the dog's sad expression.
"Everyone, stand back." Pinkie said as she threw electricity, clearing the brambles away before they found the Hanging Man hiding behind a tombstone.
"We’ll take care of Oogie’s lackeys. You head back to the Hanging Tree." Jack assured the Hanging Man as Zero whimpered at Aria.
"I know you miss Adagio and Sonata, but my friends are just as nice." Aria responded to Zero.
"Something has changed about you Aria." Jack noticed.
"Really?" Aria asked.
"Something... I like." Jack responded.
"Huh?" Aria said in confusion, but before Jack could go further, Zero led them to another Hanging Man.
"We can talk some other time, but let’s follow Zero for now." Rainbow Dash replied as everyone rushed into another section of the Cemetery where Oogie's Skeletons were patrolling.
"Stay down. I don't think they saw us." Mikey noted.
"Hold on, maybe I can sneak past them." Rainbow Dash responded before amazingly, the skeletons triggered on of the traps and got burned to ash. "Or that could work."
"Maybe we can use these traps to our advantage." Mikey noticed.
"Maybe if we can figure them out." Apple Bloom agreed.
"I found another one." Scootaloo informed.
"Already?" Sweetie Belle asked in surprise as the Hanging Man was dangling in the cliff by his neck.
"Isn’t that a bit much to be hanging from?" Mikey wondered.
"Hey, you okay down there?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"We’re sorry, but we haven’t got time to play “hide and go shriek.” Please get back to the Hanging Tree." Jack said as Zero flew off towards the next one. As they rushed to the next one, Jack noticed another fallen tombstone. "…Odd."
"Anyone noticed the Skeletons are gone?" Mikey noticed.
"Probably waiting for us to let our guard down." Aria responded.
"Another Hanging Man. Over here!" Rainbow Dash informed.
"That was quick!" Pinkie noted as Rainbow Dash phased through the vines and brought the Hanging Man to the group.
"Got him." Rainbow Dash said.
"Is he okay?" Scootaloo asked.
"Maybe? He was behind a tombstone, blocked by a wall of thorns." Rainbow Dash said.
"This area is safe now. Hurry back to the Hanging Tree." Jack assured.
"Zero, got the next one boy?" Aria asked as Zero nodded before he left, just as Oogie's skeletons attacked.
"Looks like we have company to deal with first." Jack noted.
"You guys go ahead. We can handle them." Apple Bloom said.
"Are you sure?" Jack asked.
"They're mindless. We can take them easily." Sweetie Belle answered.
"Alright. Just be careful." Rainbow Dash responded as the Crusaders played decoy with the others running after Zero, as Jack spotted the Skeletons coming out the fallen tombstone
"Something’s wrong here…" Jack noticed.
"Jack, duck!" Aria shouted.
"Whoa!" Jack gasped as he skidded under the skeleton and activated the fire trap.
"We got you, buddy!" Mikey said as he and the others grabbed Jack and pulled him to safety.
"That was close." Jack noted.
"You okay?" Pinkie asked.
"Yes. I believe so." Jack answered.
"Told you my friends got your back." Aria said as Jack smiled.
"Here's the next Hanging Man." Pinkie informed.
"Awesome!" Rainbow Dash cheered.
"Hey, you okay?" Aria asked as Jack walked up to the Hanging Man.
"It wasn’t easy finding you. It’s safe to go back to the Hanging Tree." Jack assured as Zero headed to the last Hanging Man before the Crusaders caught up.
"Hoowee!" Apple Bloom sighed as Sweetie Belle came holding her head.
"Why am I the one without a neck?" Sweetie Belle whined.
"Told you guys we'd could handle it." Scootaloo said.
"Where did Zero go?" Apple Bloom asked.
"From how it looks, the top of that big tree." Rainbow Dash answered.
"Let's go. The sooner we get him, the sooner we find Sally." Jack urged as everyone rushed to the tree and saw Zero very high up.
"See what I mean?" Rainbow Dash said.
"I'll climb it, you all stay here." Jack declared.
"You sure?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Of course." Jack answered as he used his weapons his weapons as a makeshift grappling hook and climbed up. Jack was being careful as he climbed until he reached the top. "Don’t be afraid. It’s time to go back to the Hanging Tree." Jack assured the Hanging Man as he looked down at the group and gave a thumbs up.
"Jack, be careful climbing down." Aria said as Jack was preparing to repel down, before his foot slipped.
"Whoops!" Jack yelped as he fell, before Rainbow Dash flew up and grabbed him. "Thanks."
"Don’t worry. There’s no way I wouldn’t help a friend." Rainbow Dash responded as she flew Jack gently down.
Soon, Jack and the others got the Hanging Men back on the Hanging Tree.
"Thank you all. That’s much better. Without my Hanging Men, I’m not much of a Hanging Tree." The Hanging Tree said.
"We have to stop the skeletons from coming out of their hiding spots." Aria declared.
"It seems those monsters are attacking from the fallen tombstones. We’ve got to put the tombstones back together and seal those monsters in." Jack realized.
"They'll start attacking us when they figure out what we're doing." Mikey pointed out.
"So we play smart. Jack will pull the tombstones up while the rest of us defend him." Aria planned.
"Yeah, probably smart, since he knows this place better than us." Rainbow Dash admitted.
"Saw the first one by the gate where Lock ambushed us. Follow me." Jack said.
"Lead the way." Mikey responded.
"Of course." Jack agreed as he lead the ninjas before skeletons intercepted them.
"Hey Jack, ghosts can posses people, right?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yes, but not necessarily." Jack answered as Rainbow went intangible and jumped into a skeleton, before the skeleton looked at himself and then attacked the others.
"I got a real ‘bone’ to pick with you guys!" Rainbow Dash quipped.
"Less joking, more fighting!" Aria urged.
"On it!" Rainbow Dash responded as she and everyone else occupied the skeletons while Jack started pulling the tombstone up. With one big heave, Jack set the tombstone up, causing the skeletons fled to another section of the cemetery. "That’s one down. GAH!!!" Rainbow Dash yelped as she was launched out of the skeleton when Jack caught Rainbow Dash before she hit the ground. "What the heck was that?!"
"Tried to warn you, it's a temporary ability. You only get get so long before the host throws you out." Jack said.
"Then I’ll have to use more willpower to stay in there longer!" Rainbow Dash declared before she and everyone else saw Zero circling over the next tombstone.
"Come on!" Apple Bloom urged while the skeletons guarded the tombstone, unaware the heroes were turning the fire trap towards them.
"Hey boys, anyone for barbecue?" Sweetie Belle quipped as the skeletons charged at her. "Now!" Sweetie Belle shouted before everyone used the traps as Jack pulled the tombstone up.
"Come on…" Jack hoped while he pulled it up just as a skeleton ambushed him, before Jack grabbed his scythe and sliced it in half. "Close one."
"You can thank me later for the scythe, buddy." Aria said.
"Okay." Jack responded as Zero circled over the huge tree where they started.
"That's got to be the last one." Scootaloo declared.
"You said it." Rainbow Dash agreed.
"Alright, everyone. Full frontal assault!" Jack shouted as everyone rushed towards the tombstone full force while Rainbow Dash jumped into a skeleton.
"Hopefully this’ll last longer." Rainbow Dash said while Jack pulled up the tombstone as everyone else defended him, and when Jack got it up, the skeletons fled. "Better get outta this body while I still can." Rainbow Dash noted as she exited the skeleton before it fled as well.
"That's the last one." Jack noted.
"You think Hanging Tree knows where Sally is now?" Pinkie asked.
"He said he'd have the information when we're done." Aria answered.
"Well, let's head back." Jack declared.
"Good." Aria agreed as she and the others met back up with the Hanging Tree, while no one noticed a paper airplane flying towards them.
"Thank you so much everyone. Now that Jack and all of you are here, Halloween Town will be back to its old self." The Hanging Tree said.
"Did one of the Hanging Men tell you where Sally is?" Aria asked.
"Actually, one of the hanged men just told me he heard a woman singing from under the ground." The Hanging Tree answered before the paper airplane crashed into Jack’s back, causing him to notice it.
"What's that?" Mikey wondered.
"A paper plane from Sally!" Jack answered.
"Looks like there's writing on it." Aria noticed as Jack undid it and saw it was a letter.
"What does it say?" Mikey asked as Jack read out the letter. "Jack, hurry back to town! After you left, Lock, Shock, and Barrel brought Oogie back to life. All the skeletons and ghosts that are attacking you by now were made by Dr. Finklestein and are being controlled by Oogie. These Oogie monsters were specifically made to attack you, and will stop at nothing at nothing to track you down! Please, bring Big Sis Dazzlings to help!"
"Hanging Tree, are there any tombs leading underground?" Mikey requested as the Hanging Tree pointed to a crypt.
"Down that way lies the underground Burial Chamber." The Hanging Tree answered as that caught the ninjas off guard, while Aria and Jack seemed intrigued.
"The Burial Chamber?" The duo asked.
"It’s the largest grave in this area. It’s infested with spiders and cobwebs. How romantic." The Hanging Tree informed.
"That’s it! That’s where Sally must be!" Jack realized.
"Hanging Tree, find a place to hide. We'll handle this." Aria said.
"Don’t worry. I’ll head back to Halloween Town." The Hanging Tree said as he left for Halloween Town while Jack and the ninjas started heading to the Burial Chamber.
Meanwhile with Lock, he met up with Oogie Boogie.
"Having trouble, boy?" Oogie assumed.
"That Aria’s just as scary as ever! But something tells me she got more scarier!" Lock responded.
"Those three girls are back?!" Oogie growled
"No. Only Aria. But I don’t like that jackal girl." Lock answered.
"Was a pink girl with them, by any chance?" Oogie asked
"Yeah, she’s a Frankenstein monster." Lock confirmed.
"Deal with the others, boy. But leave the Pink Girl alone. I want to keep my favorite toy." Oogie ordered.
"Sure! And I’ll beat that she-dog personally!" Lock agreed.
"And you'll need some muscle." Oogie added as Lock looked at a giant shadow behind him and grinned evilly.
Jack and the ninjas made their way to the Burial Chamber.
"You said something changed about me, Jack. What is it?" Aria asked.
"Your number of friends." Jack answered as Aria smiled. When they neared the Burial Chamber, a gate sprung out and separated Jack and Apple Bloom from the others.
With Apple Bloom and Jack, Lock showed himself as he jumped out behind a tombstone. "Why do you and your friends always have to spoil our fun?"
"Because you're hurting people and we're the good guys." Apple Bloom responded.
"Well this is the last time you’ll get in our way!" Lock growled as he donned his mask while giant skeletons rose from the ground and started attacking the others.
"I can handle the brat. Can you take big ugly?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Sure. I could use some scythe practice." Jack replied as Lock snapped his fingers.
Lock: (Countering) Hail to Mr. Oogie, heroes never win. When you find our booby traps, they will do you in.
First we brought the master back to take this town away from Jack.
We’d knew they’d fight to set things right, so we got bad guys to attack!
Ghosts and skeletons galore, brainwashed fighters wanting more.
They’re rising up from every tomb to torment Jack and seal his doom!
Apple Bloom and Jack fought hard as they danced.
Lock: Then Mr. Oogie Boogie man
Can take the whole town over then
He'll be so pleased I do declare
The whole world should beware! Whee!
"Your voice is nails on a chalkboard." Apple Bloom growled.
"Flattery will get you nowhere." Lock mocked as his taunts were making Apple Bloom really angry before she felt something welling up in her throat.
"Don't let him get to you." Jack warned as he sliced the enemy skeletons.
"S-Somethin’s wrong!" Apple Bloom realized before when she opened her mouth, a horde of locusts flew out of her mouth and attacked Lock as they left the area.
Lock: (Attacking) Once Oogie is the king, we’ll get away with everything
No more scolding for our pranks, The new king Oogie, let's give thanks!
A trick a day, or why stop there? We'll do whatever, we won't care, And everyone will come to know we run the show, Hey, life's unfair!
Hail to Mr. Oogie, This is much fun, We make mischief day and night, Our work is never done
Because Mr. Oogie Boogie is the meanest guy around
If I were on his Oogie list, I'd get out of town
He'll be so pleased by our success
That he'll reward us too, I bet
I wonder what it's going to be
We cannot wait to see! Whee!
As the music ended, Apple Bloom whacked Lock hard with his own plunger, making him really dizzy. Jack threw his scythe at the troll skeleton, destroying it, before Lock shook his head, snapping himself out of it.
"You two win this time." Lock admitted.
"There won’t be a next time." Jack said.
"Sure Jack. Whatever you say." Lock responded while he secretly crossed his fingers behind his back.
"Aria, your snack is ready." Apple Bloom called out after sensing something wrong.
"Finally!" Aria said in excitement before Jack stopped her.
"No, let him go." Jack told his friend before Lock bolted as the others came.
"Next time I see you, I'm going Audrey ll on you!" Aria hissed at Lock.
"Guys, we got company!" Pinkie informed as more skeletons started running towards them.
"Talk about bad timing." Mikey said.
"Mikey, with me. Everyone else, hold them off." Jack ordered.
"On it!" Rainbow Dash replied as Jack and Mikey ran inside while she and everyone else fought.
"Brr! This place is giving me the heebie-jeebies!" Mikey shivered before the coffins inside opened, revealing spiders and ghosts as they attacked Jack and Mikey, before Jack sliced them without hesitation.
"Let's move." Jack simply said.
"O-Okay." Mikey stuttered as Jack open the door and saw Sally.
"Sally!" Jack called out in joy as Sally turned and saw her dear friend.
"Jack!!" Sally said back in happiness before she and Jack embraced, much to Mikey's joy. But Sally saw something and pushed Jack out of the way, before she got grabbed in webbing and dragged to the ceiling.
"What’s this?" Jack gasped as a giant spider monster then landed on the floor as it roared.
"I got your back, bro." Mikey assured as Jack snapped his fingers, before music immediately started playing, as Sally sung with heartache and shame.
Sally: We should have known not to believe, then things would not have turned so bad.
Jack: (Slicing) It's true his plan was to decieve, but that should not make you so sad.
Sally: But danger waits at every turn.
Jack: And I am ready to set things right here.
Sally could only watch as her friend fights for her.
Sally: How can you say that you will be okay and come back another day?
"To think I used to like spiders." Jack noted.
"You can do it, Jack!" Sally encouraged.
Sally: What will become of our dear town, now that we’ve let our leader down?
Jack: You know, dear Sally, that's not true! We can take this town, me and you!
Sally: There’s so much danger yet to face.
Jack: But I'm not worried! Back home, I hurried!
Sally and Jack: If we work hard, we’ll overcome our shame and beat him at his game.
The spider was sore, but not defeated yet.
"I’m coming, Sally!" Jack said.
"Jack!" Sally called out.
Sally: We should have known not to believe, then things would not have turned so bad.
Jack: It's true his plan was to deceive, but that should not make you so sad.
Sally: But danger waits at every turn.
Jack: And I am ready to set things right here.
Sally: How can you that you will be okay and come back another day?
"Don’t worry, Sally. I’ll save you!" Jack reassured.
"Be careful, Jack." Sally worried.
Sally: What will become of our dear town now that we've let our leader down?
Jack: You know, dear Sally, that's not true! We can take this town, me and you!
Sally: There's so much danger left to face.
Jack: But I’m not worried! Back home I hurried!
Jack and Sally: Now we must stop that evil Oogie’s scheme and save our Halloween.
Jack threw his scythe and impaled the spider, making it scream before dying.
"You're... Terrifying." Mikey uttered.
"Good." Jack said as he saw Sally's restraint breaking. "Sally!" Jack noticed while Sally was gently lowered as the excitement caused her to faint. "I got you." Jack assured before light sparkles started shining down as a giant red heart-shaped door appeared. "Get the door and my scythe, Michelangelo."
"O-Okay." Mikey scarcely responded as the skeletons retreated while Jack exited the Burial Chamber, holding Sally in his arms.
"Sally!" Aria gasped as Mikey exited, shivering in horror.
"What's..." Apple Bloom started.
"With..." Sweetie Belle continued.
"You?" Scootaloo finished.
"Saw angry Jack, didn’t you?" Aria assumed before Mikey just threw up. "Yep, you definitely saw him angry."
"Is she okay?" Rainbow Dash asked as she hovered by Jack.
"She just fainted. She'll be okay." Jack answered before gently set Sally down by the tree as the others kept watch.
"Sally?" Aria worried before Sally started coming to. "Sally!"
"Aria?" Sally noticed before Aria hugged her. "You came to help."
"I brought help too." Aria added.
"Sally, are you alright?" Jack asked.
"Jack, you came back." Sally said in relief.
"I got your note." Jack responded.
"I’m glad." Sally replied in joy before bringing out a key. "This the key to Dr. Finkelstein’s manor. You have to help bring him back to normal."
"Thanks, Sally. Let's get you to the witch's shop. You'll be safe there." Mikey said.
"We're all safe. Now that our Pumpkin King has returned." Sally added.
"That’s it, Sally! I am the Pumpkin King! And I’ll use my pumpkin fire to fight Oogie’s army! Good thinking, Sally!" Jack realized.
"Thank you. But what about your friends?" Sally asked.
"Well, what's a king without loyal knights?" Jack responded.
Meanwhile with Lock...
"Please, Aria was going to eat me. I had to run." Lock tried to explain, only for Oogie roar at that.
"Was my toy at least undamaged?" Oogie asked.
"Yes." Lock answered.
"Alright, you're off the hook." Oogie said.
"Yes!" Lock cheered.
"Shock, deal with them." Oogie ordered.
"Okay!" Shock responded.
"And remember, my toy is to be undamaged!" Oogie reminded.
"Jack, may I speak to your smaller friends for a moment?" Sally requested.
"Oh? Sure." Jack answered as he, Mikey, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash and Aria left.
"So who is Dr. Finklestein?" Pinkie asked.
"Is he a servant of Oogie?" Rainbow Dash assumed.
"What? No!" Aria responded.
"The doctor is a good friend of mine. I entrusted the town in his care when I left." Jack answered.
"Something must’ve happened to him." Aria noticed.
"That explains your relationship. But why are you worried about the doc, Aria?" Mikey asked.
"While we were stuck here, he gave us a home in his manor." Aria answered.
"That was nice." Pinkie smiled.
"He's difficult, but he means well." Aria explained.
"Whoa…" Apple Bloom awed as Jack and the ninjas saw she and the other two Crusaders walking up.
"What was it Sally wanted from you three?" Jack asked.
"Just a minor errand for later. Open the door." Scootaloo answered.
"Alright." Aria responded as she and everyone else went through the gate and saw the manor looming sinister-like above them. "*Sigh* The sight never gets old."
Sweetie Belle found a weird doll on the ground. "What's this?"
"Uh-oh." Jack dreaded as the doll lunged at Sweetie Belle and started attacking her head.
"HEY!" Sweetie Belle shouted before Jack sliced it in half.
"Jack was that Halloween Christmas toy?" Aria asked.
"Yes, but that shouldn’t be here." Jack answered as everyone else gave him a deadpan stare. "How was I supposed to know those things would attack after I delivered them. They were harmless in Halloweentown."
"Stick with the spooky stuff, Jackie. Don't try taking over Valentine's Day." Aria advised.
"Hey, I’m staying with Halloween. I am the master of terror after all." Jack responded before more toys came and attacked. "And I'll demonstrate my Pumpkin Fire!" Jack added as he went into his Pumpkin King form, becoming a scarecrow with a pumpkin head, much to Rainbow Dash shock and surprise, as Jack grabbed his scythe prepared to fight, before it became two flaming scythes, one in each hand. "Perfect." Jack smiled while with two fierce swing, the toys were reduced to ash with ease. "And what's a king without some knights?"
Jack then breathed strange-glowing fire at the ninjas, not injuring them, but affecting them. They started changing shape and size. Rainbow Dash’s ghostly body started changing into lightning and electricity. Pinkie’s body started becoming bigger as more electricity surged through her. Mikey’s body soon become covered in fur as his head turned into a wolf’s head while he retained his turtle shell. Aria’s hair turned turquoise as all of the snakes on her head faced the same direction as she was facing as her body became scaly all over, while her face was a different story, she gained a forked tongue as her two eyes disappeared, with a big red eye taking its place, while she summoned and grabbed a snake-shaped spear. Apple Bloom’s head turned into that of a jackal, as her body became covered in black fur, as she grow thrice her size, her clothing became silver and purple, and summoning a combination of a staff and an axe into her hands. Sweetie Belles face became covered in darkness as a skeletal horse appeared beside her, as she went onto the horse’s back as she grabbed her head from the top and kept holding it while her free hand summoned and grabbed a scythe. Scootaloo’s transformation however, had the most change, she became as big as Apple Bloom, but she gained goat horns on her head, bat wings on her arms, claws on her feet and hands, a speared tail, and sharper fangs in her mouth, while her eyes turned blood red, for she became a giant muscular demon.
"Look at us!" Pinkie awed.
"Mondo cool, bro!" Mikey said in excitement.
"This so makes up for my weak body!" Sweetie Belle smiled.
"Hoowee! Ah feel as strong as a rampaging bull!" Apple Bloom whooped.
"It's you!" Rainbow Dash gasped at Jack.
"Let’s go!" Scootaloo declared.
"Dash, you looked stunned." Pinkie noticed.
"Well, time to take them out!" Aria said as she glared at a group of enemies in front of her, as the energy from her eye and all of the snake’s eyes turned them to stone, causing the other toys flee in terror as everyone powered down. "It's a straight shot to the doctor's place. Come on!"
Rainbow Dash was still shocked however. "You're the scarecrow."
"Wait, you’ve seen him before, Dashie?" Pinkie noticed.
"Jack, do you remember a pink hair girl being harassed by bullies?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Of course I do, that was years ago." Jack answered before Rainbow Dash's geode reacted and showed her human form for a moment. "Wait… You’re that…"
"I can't believe it's you!" Rainbow Dash and Jack gasped in unison.
"What are you two talking about?" Aria asked in confusion.
"Well, let’s say that Jack and I met before on a Halloween Night." Rainbow Dash answered.
"A long time ago, I found some bullies terrorizing a sweet little girl. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good scare. But I hate bullies doing it." Jack explained.
"Yeah, and I tried to get them to back off before they screamed and ran away. Then Fluttershy and I turned around and saw Jack. *Shiver!* Just remembering that sends chills down my spine!" Rainbow Dash remembered.
"I remember your friend fainted in your arms. Apologies about that." Jack apologized.
"It’s okay. Halloween isn’t the best kind of holiday for Fluttershy, since she can be scared easily." Rainbow Dash explained.
"I understand. If your friend isn't comfortable with it, I won't force it. The important thing is that she's ok." Jack said before he and everyone else found a strange creature blocking their path.
"Wait, isn’t that…?" Aria noticed.
"Aria?" The creature asked.
"Igor?!" Aria gasped.
"Igor, please move aside." Jack requested.
"No. Igor under strict orders not to let anyone in." Igor responded before everyone heard something growling.
"Igor, when was the last time the doc fed you?" Aria asked.
"Oooogh! Igor so hungry!" Igor groaned while rubbing his tummy.
"What does he eat?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Dog treats." Aria answered as the other ninjas were appalled.
"Say what now?!" Rainbow Dash gawked as she flew forward to the front of Aria really quickly to face her, but failed to stop herself as she accidentally bonked the back of her head against a nearby wall.
"We get you bone biscuits, you'll let us pass?" Jack assumed.
"Yes! Yes! Of course! Igor would do that!" Igor responded.
"Ow… That wasn’t cool. And I’m definitely gonna feel that in the morning." Rainbow Dash winced.
"Let's get to the Witch's Shop." Aria declared as she, Jack and the other ninjas went off.
As they approached the shop, a gate separated Jack and Sweetie Belle from the others.
"Jack, I think you'll find I'm not as forgiving as Lock." Shock said.
"SHOCK!" Aria hissed.
"Long time no see, Aria." Shock responded.
"I let you two win." Lock lied.
"Quiet, you!" Barrel replied as he whacked Lock hard.
"Time for me to have fun." Shock declared as she donned her mask as ghosts erupted from the ground. "Get them!"
"You're a bad girl." Sweetie Belle growled.
"I may be a Trick-or-Treater, but I prefer tricks!" Shock said as she snapped her fingers, causing music to start playing as Shock started singing.
Shock: Hail to Mr. Oogie, heroes never win. When you find our booby traps, they will do you in.
First we brought the master back to take this town away from Jack.
We’d knew they’d fight to set things right, so we got bad guys to attack!
Ghosts and skeletons galore, brainwashed fighters wanting more.
They’re rising up from every tomb to torment Jack and seal his doom!
"They're tone deaf." Sweetie Belle noted.
"You’re telling me." Aria agreed.
Shock: Hail to Mr. Oogie, this is much fun. We make mischief day and night, Our work is never done
Because Mr. Oogie Boogie is the meanest guy around
If I were on his Oogie list, I'd get out of town
He'll be so pleased by our success
That he'll reward us too, I bet
I wonder what it's going to be

Sweetie Belle destroyed the last ghost and the gates fell.
"Snack time!" Aria said with a lick of her lips.
"Uh-oh! Time to scram!" Shock declared as she threw a smoke bomb and escaped in the smokescreen, making Aria growl in anger as she caught a rat and started eating it.
"Jack, are you really going to let Aria eat those three?" Pinkie asked.
"I'm starting to consider it." Jack admitted.
"Finally!" Aria cheered as she swallowed the rat.
"If they don't shape up." Jack added as Aria spat out the bones of the rat.
"Come on!" Aria groaned as she and everyone else entered the store.
"Jack, what brings you and your friends here?" The Small Witch asked.
"We need to buy a bone biscuit for Igor." Jack answered.
"Sorry, but Corpse Kid just bought the last one. Said something about helping you guys." The Big Witch informed.
"What?" Jack noticed.
"Uh, while we're here... You two have any Worm's Wart?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Of course! Need them for anything?" The Big Witch responded with her own question.
"No. How much will it be?" Sweetie Belle replied.
"Don't worry about paying. Just save the town." The Small Witch answered.
"Thanks y’all." Apple Bloom said in gratitude.
"I'm all for lunch, but now isn't a good time to eat, Sweetie Belle." Aria noted.
"Trust us. We know what we’re doing." Scootaloo responded.
"Ah got the Deadly Nightshade!" Apple Bloom informed.
"That only leaves one more thing to get." Scootaloo noticed before covering her mouth as her head turned sickly green.
"What are you three up to?" Aria asked.
"Just a little somethin’ ta help." Apple Bloom answered.
"It'll have to wait after we find Corpse Kid." Rainbow Dash said as she, Jack and the other ninjas left the shop and found Corpse Kid about to enter the Doctor's area.
"Corpse Kid?" Jack noticed.
"Hi, everyone." Corpse Kid greeted.
"What are you doing?" Aria asked.
"I followed you guys into the junkyard and talked to Igor. I'm going to give him the Bone Biscuits so you guys can get through." Corpse Kid answered, leaving Jack and the ninjas surprised.
"That's nice, but this is too dangerous for you to do casually." Aria warned.
"But Oogie's monsters stopped attacking. Isn't it safe?" Corpse Kid asked.
"Not until Oogie is gone." Jack answered.
"Give us the Biscuits and we'll rescue the doctor." Pinkie said.
"Okay, but can I hide out in the Doctor's manor." Corpse Kid requested.
"If it helps." Aria answered as she and everyone else found Igor still standing guard.
"Aria bring Igor food?" Igor asked.
"Yep." Aria answered.
"Igor, does the doctor breed frogs, by any chance?" Apple Bloom added.
"Yes! Master breeds plenty of frogs." Igor confirmed.
"Perfect!" Apple Bloom said as she and the other two Crusaders smiled while Igor started eating the bone biscuits.
At Dr. Finkelstein's manor, Igor happily ate his bone biscuits. "Ohh… Biscuit tastes good."
"You feel better, Igor?" Aria asked.
"Uh-huh!" Igor answered.
"Now then, Igor. You promised to move aside." Jack reminded.
"Igor keeps his promise." Igor nodded.
"Where are the frogs, Igor?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Over there." Igor answered.
"Thanks, Igor." Scootaloo said in gratitude.
"You three do what you need to do and catch up with us." Jack responded.
"Thanks, Jack." Sweetie Belle replied in thanks as she and the other crusaders went off while Jack and the others tried to race towards the manor, but then lightning struck as everyone backed off.
"What was that?!" Jack gasped.
"It came from up there." Rainbow Dash noticed.
"Hmm… Where is that thing getting its power from?" Jack asked.
"Doctor have big generator behind the door over there. Jack, Aria and friends smash circuit with something to make lightning stop." Igor informed.
"I'm no Twilight, but it probably won't stay off for long." Pinkie realized.
"Agreed. We’d better get back quick, or we’re fried." Jack declared.
"I think I can help with something else." Sally said as everyone saw Sally walk up holding a flask with the Crusaders showing up beside her.
"What is that, Sally?" Jack asked.
"If the Doctor tries to attack you or your friends, use this. It has Deadly Nightshade in it." Sally answered as Jack and Aria instantly recognized it.
"We don't want to kill him." Rainbow Dash pointed out.
"Don’t worry. This isn’t lethal. Besides, I just figured out why the Crusaders were gathering things. They got you the ingredients, right?" Aria assumed.
"Sally asked us to get it to the ingredients in case of emergencies." Sweetie Belle informed.
"Ugh… I don’t think I’ll see frogs the same way ever again." Scootaloo groaned with a sickly-green face.
"You sure the doctor will drink this?" Apple Bloom asked.
"He'll drink it." Aria answered.
"Thanks, Sally. We'll try and save him without hurting a hair on his head." Jack said as Aria facepalmed.
"Jack, the doctor doesn’t have any hair." Aria pointed out.
"Figure of speech, Aria." Jack responded.
"Right." Aria said as she and everyone else found the generator guarded by more toys.
"Guys, how's about we do a soccer play?" Rainbow Dash smiled.
"What's the play?" Pinkie asked.
"Crusaders, play decoy!" Rainbow Dash started.
"Wait, what?" The Crusaders said in confusion.
"Mikey and Aria, defense on Jack!" Rainbow Dash continued.
"On it!" Mikey responded.
"Understood!" Aria added.
"Pinkie, on offense with me!" Rainbow Dash finished.
"Okie-dokie-lokie!" Pinkie replied.
"Alright, rush!" Rainbow Dash shouted as everyone followed Rainbow's game plan while Jack rushed with the defenders.
"Are all these missions of yours this fun?" Jack asked.
"You joking? Of course they are." Aria answered.
"Usually." Mikey added.
"I love it!" Jack cheered as the toys couldn't get close or pay attention to Jack with the play. "I'm seriously loving your friends, Aria."
"Wait till you meet the others." Aria smiled.
"Take the shot, Jack!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"Of course!" Jack responded as he threw the rock with the Soul Robber and destroyed the generator.
"GOAL!" The ninjas cheered.
"Everyone to the manor. Hurry!" Aria urged.
"Fast, just the way I like it!" Rainbow Dash smiled as she and everyone else headed up towards the manor, ignoring the lethal toys.
Everyone scrambled through the door, getting into the building and slammed it shut.
"So you made it." A familiar voice said.
"SHOCK, GET DOWN HERE!" Aria roared.
"Nah. I don’t think so, because I know I’m having a ball!" Shock quipped as a giant ball rolled down the slope.
"Too big of a coward to fight?!" Mikey taunted,
"Nah. I just love playing tricks." Shock responded.
"Come on, everyone!" Jack said as he and the ninjas ran up the slope before another ball rolled down.
"Let me try phasing it." Rainbow Dash volunteered as she became intangible and tried to go throw the ball, only to get knocked back.
"Hahaha! Forgot to mention the balls are ghost-proof!" Shock laughed before Mikey morphed big and tried to stop it.
"Gah! Too… heavy!" Mikey groaned before everyone scrambled around and Jack pulled him over.
"Here comes another!" Aria shouted.
"Against the wall!" Jack informed as he and the ninjas braced against the wall before the ball rolled by. "Go!"
"A little dodgeball red-light green-light? Sounds easy enough." Pinkie noticed.
"Try stopping it with electricity." Apple Bloom suggested.
"It’s steel, and electricity is conducive to that." Pinkie noted.
"No, magnetize the ground." Jack explained.
"Great idea! Here we go!" Pinkie said as she tried it, but she only managed to slow the ball down. "Yikes!" Pinkie yelped before Jack pulled her over in time.
"We're almost there!" Aria shouted as she and everyone else got up to Shock before she released another one, only for all of them to dodge.
"Uh-oh." Shock dreaded as she was about bolt before Aria coiled around her like a python. But then Shock poked out her broom with a white sheet, waving the white flag. "I’m sorry, Jack. I was only playing a trick…"
"Let her go." Jack said.
"Jack..." Aria whined.
"Aria." Jack repeated himself as Aria dropped Shock. "Let’s go." Jack declared as Shock ran off before he stopped her. "Stop helping Oogie. I mean it."
"Ok…" Shock responded before Jack and the others went off as Shock secretly had her fingers crossed behind her back while Aria and Sweetie Belle didn’t trust her.
"Hey Jack, why are these stairs lacking steps?" Mikey asked.
"Well, the doctor is actually in a wheelchair." Aria answered.
"He's paralyzed?!" Mikey gasped in horror.
"He fidgets with his brain." Aria explained as she about to take her glasses off when they heard the toys coming. "We got trouble!"
"We can handle them. Go save your friend, Aria." Mikey urged as he and the other ninjas readied themselves for battle.
"Thanks, Mikey!" Aria said in gratitude as Apple Bloom gave her the soup before she and Jack ran down.
In the Nightmare Lab, Jack and Aria arrived via lifting elevator as they saw the doctor.
"Dr. Finklestein, why are you doing this?" Jack asked.
"Sally is safe now. You can stop helping Oogie." Aria said.
"Ah, Jack and Aria. I’ve been waiting for you. I can see the two of you have been busy, so I think it’s time for you both to rest." Dr. Finkelstein ominously suggested as he opened his head and fidgeted his brain, which was green and had two brown-yellow eyes, much to Jack and Aria’s shock.
"Oogie switched your brain!" Jack realized.
"I knew you'd never willingly betray Jack!" Aria declared in relief.
"Shall we begin? I think you’ll like this device. I made it especially for you two." Dr. Finkelstein said before a horrifying weapon revealed itself as Jack and Aria looked to the right and saw the Doctor’s real brain.
"We’ve got to switch the Doctor’s real brain back to save him. Let’s see… If we open his head from behind, then get in front of him and throw his real brain in… Yes! That should work!" Jack planned before Aria remembered something.
"What about the sleeping soup?" Aria asked before the doctor's machine shot the flask, shattering it. "Me and my big mouth."
"Don't think I haven’t seen what your little friends were up to, Aria. I know your tricks." Dr. Finkelstein responded as he snapped his fingers before music started playing.
"Get the brain! I'll get behind him!" Jack informed.
"On it!" Aria agreed as the battle to save the doctor started.
Dr. Finklestein: This town has changed, dear kids. Since you've been away. Without a Pumpkin King, it's Oogie Boogie's way.
Jack: Doctor, please! Oh, can’t you see you’re wrong?
Dr. Finklestein: You were the king, but now your nothing but prey! Oogie Boogie is back and he's planning to stay!
Aria: What a crazy web you’re weaving. Oogie Boogie will soon be leaving. Doctor, please! It’s not too late!
Dr. Finklestein: All my machines will seal your fate.
My lasers will slice you, my knives will cut deep.
And when it’s all over Sally, she will weep.
Days of your good-natured mayhem are through.
I’ll tear up this town and I’ll start with you two.
"Doc, please stop!" Aria pleaded as she grabbed the doctor's real brain.
"Never, Aria!" Doctor Finkelstein responded.
Dr. Finklestein: Well now my boy, it seems you lost your crown. In a few mere moments, you'll be six feet in the ground.
Jack: Stop at once! Can’t you see this is absurd?
Dr. Finklestein: No more tricks! Your friends are now your foes! And now this dance is nearing it's close.
Aria: All these people that you’re harming. Come on Doctor it’s real alarming! Doctor, please. Your thinking is all wrong.
Dr. Finklestein: (As Jack pulled his head open) In a moment, finally you'll be gone
Jack: You shoot and attack me, it rolls of our backs!
We’re not your enemies, we’re Aria and Jack!
Aria: When this is all over, good friends we will be. You'll praise Oogie no more.
Jack and Aria: You can take that from me.
Aria managed to get half of the Doctor's brain in him.
"What do you think of my invention?" Dr. Finkelstein taunted.
"Doctor, you’ve got to control yourself!" Jack warned.
Doctor Finkelstein: This town has changed, dear kids. Since you've been away. Without a Pumpkin King, it's Oogie Boogie's way.
Jack: Doctor please, oh can't you see you're wrong?
Doctor Finkelstein: You were the king, but now your nothing but prey! Oogie Boogie is back and he's planning to stay!
Aria: It's a crazy web your weaving, Oogie Boogie will soon be leaving. Doctor please, it's not too late.
Doctor Finkelstein: All my machines will seal your fate
My blades are now spinning, my creations are large.
When they move towards you there’s no question who’s in charge.
If, by some chance, you survive the attack.
They’ll be many more, you’d better watch your back.
"We're almost done there!" Aria noted.
"You won’t beat me!" Dr. Finkelstein growled.
Doctor Finkelstein: Well now my boy, it seems you lost your crown. In a few mere moments, you'll be six feet in the ground.
Jack: Stop at once! Can't see this is absurd?!
Doctor Finkelstein: No more tricks! Your friends are now your foes! And now this dance is nearing its close!
Aria: All these people that you’re harming. Come on Doctor it’s real alarming! Doctor, please. Your thinking is all wrong.
Doctor Finkelstein: In a moment finally you'll be gone!
Jack: Your intentions are evil, your thoughts are all bad! The thing that you work for is no more than a cad!
Aria: When finally we get that foul brain out of you.
Jack and Aria: You’ll see no more foes, but two friends that are true!
Aria threw the other half of the brain into the Doctor's head, making him groan in pain. With both halves of the doctor’s real brain in, his head closed up as he was back to his normal self while sparkle’s appeared in the air again.
"Doc, you okay?" Aria asked.
"Aria? Is that you?" Dr. Finkelstein noticed.
"Yeah Doc, it's me. What's the last thing you remember?" Aria responded.
"I-It was Jack leaving for new things to make Halloween scarier than ever before." Dr. Finkelstein answered.
"And Oogie?" Aria added.
"Now it's all coming back. What have I done?" Dr. Finkelstein dreaded as Jack obtained the St. Patrick’s Day holiday door. "I’m sorry, you two. I never imagined my brain would be replaced and the town deceived…"
"Doctor, you were using the St. Patrick's day door to power your machine." Jack noticed as the other ninjas arrived.
"Indeed. So that is a Holiday Door. Hmmm? Who are they?" Dr. Finkelstein asked.
"New friends of mine. A lot has changed since my last visit, Doc." Aria answered.
"I see. *Gasp!* Jack! Aria! What’s today’s date?" Dr. Finkelstein requested.
"Why today is... December 24!" Jack answered in realization.
"But that means…!" Aria dreaded.
"It's almost Christmas!" Jack and the ninjas finished in horror.
"I wonder what’s happening with the Christmas Door… Let’s hope we can find it soon." Dr. Finkelstein said.
"What about the Pumpkin Patch?" Mikey asked.
"That’s where we need to go, but it won’t be easy, because Oogie’s monsters have possessed the pumpkins at the entrance, blocking anyone from entering." Jack informed as Doctor Finklestein started thinking.
"Hmmm… I know! We’ll scare those monsters out of the pumpkins! Give me just a moment…" Dr. Finkelstein realized as he went off to invent something, before Sally came rushing in with a gift.
"Is the doctor himself again?" Sally asked.
"Yes, he's building a device that'll help us fight Oogie's army." Jack answered.
"Jack, do you think this might be helpful, too?" Sally added.
"A present?" Pinkie noticed.
"What’s this?" Jack wondered before the present glowed and disappeared, making snowflakes circle around the heroes. Jack then found himself in his Santa costume, while Pinkie and Mikey were dressed up as elves, Rainbow Dash having reindeer horns and having daring Christmas clothes, and Aria’s tail being replaced with a stocking, and her snake hair replaced with snow that had colors. The Crusaders looked like Christmas ghosts, with Apple Bloom being of the past with white robes and young Christmas clothes, Scootaloo being the present with a wreath necklace and present-time Christmas clothes, and Sweetie Belle being future with the grim cloak, but also have festive Christmas clothes underneath. "It’s Sandy’s costume!"
"Hey, where'd did everyone go?" Sweetie Belle wondered.
"Huh?" Apple Bloom noticed in confusion.
"Sweetie Belle, how many fingers are in front of you?" Scootaloo asked as she held up three fingers.
"Where?" Sweetie Belle responded.
"Okay, please tell me this is a joke, because it’s not funny." Rainbow Dash said in concern as Sweetie Belle's hood fell off and revealed her eyes completely white. "GAH!!! What happened to you?!"
"First my head won't stay on, now I'm blind! Rainbow, gesundheit." Sweetie Belle noted.
"Whaddya mea-ACHOO!!!" Rainbow Dash sneezed, propelling her across the room as Sweetie Belle effortlessly dodged her.
"Wowza! How’d you do that?" Pinkie gasped in amazement.
"What happened?" Sweetie Belle asked in confusion.
"You dodged Rainbow Dash!" Mikey answered.
"Pinkie, be careful." Sweetie Belle warned.
"Huh?" Pinkie noted in confusion before the floor below her froze.
"Too late." Sweetie Belle said.
"Whoa!" Pinkie yelped as Sweetie Belle stepped back.
"You sure you're blind, Sweetie Belle?" Jack asked.
"I am, but then I’m not." Sweetie Belle answered.
"Say what?" Mikey said in confusion.
"This might sound crazy, but I think that I can see into the future." Sweetie Belle informed.
"Then tell us our powers with these forms." Apple Bloom requested.
"Well-" Sweetie Belle started to say when Scootaloo suddenly became as flat as a ribbon, before stretching herself. "That." Sweetie Belle finished before Apple Bloom found herself moving faster than normal as Sweetie Belle dodged her easily.
"Hmm… Maybe if…" Mikey wondered as he placed a present on a spot, then another on a different spot before going into one of the presents, only to come out the other one.
"Doctor's coming." Sweetie Belle informed.
"Your friends are full of energy, my boy." Doctor Finkelstein said to Jack.
"That sounds more like the doctor my sisters and I loved working for." Aria smiled.
"Hoho! Thank you, Aria. That outfit really suits you, Jack! I completed the scare device. If I told you what’s in it though, that would ruin the surprise! Hide this in your Sandy bag, and use it to stun Oogie’s Monsters!" Dr. Finkelstein informed.
"Thank you, Doctor. After we leave, lock the door behind us and don't let anyone but us in. Oh, and can Corpse Kid hide here till it's safe?" Jack asked.
"Of course, Jack." Dr. Finkelstein answered.
"Thanks. And I kinda need a new Skeleton Key." Aria requested.
"Okay, I’ll get to work on that." Dr. Finkelstein said as Jack and the ninjas rushed down and out the manor.
Jack and the ninjas went to the Pumpkin Patch, finding possessed pumpkins blocking their way.
"We got this far before they started swarming us." Mikey informed.
"Well, they’ll be in for a surprise, since I took a quick trip to the shop." Jack responded as he shifted into his Sandy Claws outfit, not noticing his scythe change.
"Red is definitely your color, Jack." Pinkie noted.
"Thank you, and I made sure to get two other kinds of surprises." Jack said in gratitude as he threw the presents in front of the pumpkins at a safe distance. "Now these surprises are the scare devices the doctor gave me, he called them Re-possession. The other two surprises are still yet to come." Jack informed as the presents, revealed to be Jack-in-the-boxes, went off, spooking the ghosts right out of the pumpkins, before Mikey shifted to his monster form and tackled them.
"Jack, Oogie Skeletons 3 o'clock!" Sweetie Belle informed.
"Time to scare them stiff!" Jack quipped as he threw different kinds of presents in front of the ghosts, which bursted and revealed themselves to be Russian Dolls, with the bursts, splitting them and making them smaller, while making the ghosts heading for Jack freeze completely in fright as the pumpkin king and everyone else took the opportunity to carve their way through. After they destroyed the guards, a strange man with an axe in his head came out from hiding.
"Wait, is that…?" Aria wondered.
"Aria back?" The man realized.
"Behemoth! It’s you!" Aria said in happiness.
"Behemoth, the pumpkin patch is a mess!" Jack noticed.
"It’s the bad’uns. They ruin it… Break the bridge." Behemoth answered as everyone saw that the bridge was out. "The Big Pumpkin Head. Bad’uns eat it, too. My precious pumpkins…" Behemoth added as everyone looked to the right and saw a giant pumpkin head.
"You should find somewhere safe to hide." Rainbow Dash advised.
"Okay…" Behemoth responded as he went back to Halloween Town before the Announcement Alarm was sound as more Oogie Skeletons appeared.
"What now?!" Aria hissed.
"Another Oogie announcement." Jack answered.
"Hello? Testing… Testing… 1, 2, 3. Am I on? A-hem! Denizens of Oogie Town! Jack and Aria have returned with guests! According to the reports… heh heh… they’re enjoying our dangerous Oogie Town so much they’re screaming in horror! Rejoice! This is all thanks to your efforts! Ba ha ha ha! Barrel, my star pupil, my prodigal son, my shining star. Be a good boy and finish the work your half-witted, half-pint, half-alive playmates could not. Because if you don’t there’s more than half a chance I’ll be very, very, very ANGRY!" Oogie announced before the announcement went off.
"Barrel is mine, right?" Scootaloo assumed while fighting some skeletons.
"Yep." Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom answered.
"Less yapping, more fighting." Pinkie growled while throwing electricity.
"You sound like Raph, Pinkster." Rainbow Dash noticed as Jack grabbed his scythe and found out that it has changed, becoming a double-bladed scythe, before grinning at his enemies.
"Let's dance." Jack declared as everyone kept fighting while Jack stunned, sliced and froze some skeletons.
"Oogie's in trouble now!" Rainbow Dash smirked.
"Oh, you bet he is!" Aria added as everyone agreed expect for Pinkie. "You okay, Pinks?" Aria asked while she was strangling some skeletons as Pinkie didn’t respond.
"Oogie is just a bully. You got to stand up to him." Jack added while slicing some skeletons.
"Jack’s right about that, ya know." Rainbow Dash agreed while Pinkie said nothing as she fought.
"Looks like the big pumpkin is where they're thickest. I know a short cut there." Aria informed.
"Then lead the way, Aria." Jack said as Aria lead the group, unaware that the trio were waiting for them, before more pumpkins and skeletons showed up, blocking their path.
"Merry Christmas!" Jack quipped as he tossed blue presents at the enemies, before the gifts exploded, freezing them in ice cubes. "Those were the new surprises I had in store, Scared Stiff and Cold Front."
"The doc knows how to make good toys." Aria smiled while smashing the ice cubes.
"I see why you're friends with him." Mikey noted.
"He's difficult sometimes, but he means well." Aria added.
"No doubt about that." Rainbow Dash agreed.
"The bridge is over here, guys. Crusaders first!" Aria said as the Crusaders ran across while the others held off the skeletons. "Pinkie, Mikey, and Rainbow... Go! Jack, you go with them. I'll be right behind you!"
"Are you sure?" Jack asked in concern
"I'll be fine." Aria assured as she blocked a skeleton ogre's club.
"Okay, just be careful." Jack responded before running across the bridge just as Aria grabbed the club and smashed the bridge.
"Good luck, guys!" Aria said as everyone raced forward while she bought them time.
As Jack, Mikey, Pinkie and the Crusaders continued, they found themselves in a maze and encountered Lock, Shock and Barrel.
"Hey Jack, want some candy?" Barrel taunted while waving a lollipop.
"No thanks. We’ve had enough of your treats." Jack responded.
"Looks like Aria couldn't join you." Barrel noticed.
"Grr… Watch it, bub!" Pinkie growled.
"Aw, guys, we’re just getting started." Lock said.
"Our biggest trick is yet to come." Shock added.
"You’re gonna get so lost. And, after what we did to The Mayor’s house… Oops! Wasn’t supposed to tell you that. Catch you later!" Barrel bid farewell as the three trick-or-treaters ran before a root blocked the heroes’ path.
"Mayor's house?" Mikey asked.
"That can’t be good." Jack dreaded.
"I thought you were the leader of this town, Jack." Rainbow Dash noticed as she and the others walked through the maze.
"I am, but that doesn’t mean that Halloween Town can’t have an elected official." Jack responded.
"Fair enough." The ninjas admitted before skeletons came out and started attacking them as they ran the maze.
"Looks like we got company." Jack noted.
"I'll lead them away. You guys get to Barrel." Mikey said.
"Wait just a second! I’ll come along!" Pinkie added.
"Hey, today's special: Mutant Turtle! Get him while he's fresh!" Mikey taunted the skeletons before running away as the skeletons ran after him before Pinkie followed him. Jack and the others snuck around as they went down the path the skeletons came from.
"You guys are really good at causing trouble." Jack noted.
"You’re telling me." The Crusaders agreed.
"It's a gift." Rainbow Dash smiled before an Ogre skeleton smashed through the vines and roared. "I can handle big ugly."
"I don’t like this. It’s like they’re trying to separate us." Jack noticed.
"Got to have faith in your team, right Jack?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yes." Jack answered as Rainbow Dash flew towards the Ogre, drawing its attention away from the others. "I hope the others will be okay."
"Come on, Jack! I know they’ll make it through." Scootaloo assured.
"They've been through a lot worst than these brainless skeletons. Uh, no offense." Apple Bloom apologized.
"None taken at all." Jack responded with a smile when out of the shadows, a skeleton grabbed Apple Bloom.
"Me and mah big mouth!" Apple Bloom dreaded.
"Hang on!" Sweetie Belle said as she sliced Apple Bloom free. "You two go on ahead!"
"I got Lock, Sweetie Belle got Shock... Barrel’s going to want to meet his new playmate." Apple Bloom answered.
"AB’s got a point, ya know." Sweetie Belle agreed.
"Now, go!" Apple Bloom urged.
"Alright!" Scootaloo responded as she and Jack ran off towards the end of the maze.
"Once we deal with Barrel, we'll double back for the others." Jack said.
"…Right." Scootaloo uttered.
"This actually reminds me of the day I first met the Dazzlings." Jack remembered.
"Really?" Scootaloo asked.
"Oogie tried to take over the town. I fought his army of bugs with Adagio and the others help. I imprisoned Oogie in his lair, but I never thought he'd gather his strength in that room." Jack informed as he was slicing through enemies.
"It's not a mistake to give mercy. It's a strength." Scootaloo responded.
"Thanks, Scootaloo." Jack said in gratitude as the duo exited the maze, hoping that the others were okay.
Jack and Scootaloo arrived at the giant pumpkin head.
"They're attacking from within." Jack noticed.
"Not good." Scootaloo dreaded.
"I’d better climb up and take a look." Jack said as he noticed a way up the pumpkin.
"I think I can fly up there." Scootaloo noted before turning into a bat and flew up as Jack climbed up the pumpkin. When they got onto the pumpkin, the two of them noticed a hole on the top of the pumpkin.
"Stay by me, Scootaloo. I want you going home in one piece." Jack advised.
"Okay." Scootaloo responded as she and Jack climbed down inside before ghosts appeared to attack. "Incoming!" Scootaloo shouted before she turned into mist, avoiding the ghosts’ attacks as Jack sliced them with his scythe.
"Get behind me!" Jack said.
"O-Okay!" Scootaloo replied as they they went down, before finding Barrel and a few Skeletons eating the pumpkins.
"What?! You made it through my maze?!" Barrel gasped as he noticed Jack and Scootaloo.
"Time for your after-school beating!" Scootaloo declared.
"Yes, it’s time to teach you a lesson." Jack agreed as Barrel brought his pitchfork out and snapped his fingers, causing music to start playing.
"Barrel is mine. You deal with the skeletons." Scootaloo said.
"Very well." Jack responded before Scootaloo attacked as Barrel sung.
Barrel: Hail to Mr. Oogie, Jack will never win! When you find our booby-traps, they will do you in!
Scootaloo tried to ignore the singing as she fought Barrel.
Barrel: First we brought the master back, to take this town away from Jack! We’d knew he’d fight to set things right, so we got bad guys to attack!
Barrel attacked Scootaloo hard.
Barrel: Ghosts and skeletons galore, brainwashed fighters wanting more! They’re rising up from every tomb to torment Jack and seal his doom!
The duo went back and forth on their attacks.
Barrel: Hail to Mr. Oogie, this is so much fun! We make mischief day and night, our work is never done!
Scootaloo: You sing as bad as you're ugly.
Barrel: Hehe! You haven’t seen what we can do yet!
Because Mr. Oogie is the meanest guy around. If I were on his Oogie list, I’d get out of town!
Scootaloo threw kick after kick on him, before she kicked Barrel hard as Jack destroyed the last skeleton when Scootaloo found a key as the Thanksgiving door came out.
"Barrel. Pranks are one thing, but real danger is not a good idea." Jack said.
"So behave or Aria will be picking her teeth with your bones." Scootaloo warned.
"…I’m sorry guys." Barrel apologized.
"Now… no more serving Oogie." Jack told Barrel.
"Okay, Jack." Barrel responded as Scootaloo and Jack exited the pumpkin while Barrel got up with fingers secretly crossed behind his back.
"Hey Jack, I found this key. What's it go to?" Scootaloo asked.
"It looks to be to the Residential Area." Jack answered.
"Really? That sounds good." Scootaloo noted as she and Jack found the others waiting safely by the gate, causing Scootaloo to give out a huge sigh of relief.
"Everyone ok?" Jack asked.
"You bet." Aria responded.
"A few scrapes and bruises, but nothing we can't work through." Mikey added.
"Score anything from Barrel?" Pinkie asked.
"A key and a holiday door." Scootaloo answered.
"The Thanksgiving Day door. So how many does that make?" Rainbow Dash noted.
"Four." Jack counted.
"That makes three unaccounted for." Sweetie Belle added.
"Then let's get searching." Apple Bloom said as she and everyone else left the Pumpkin Patch and headed back into town.
Everyone returned to Halloween Town and found the locked gate to the Residential Area as Aria sighed sadly at how quiet Halloween Town was.
"Don’t worry. We’ll beat Oogie and everyone will be back." Jack assured Aria.
"Thanks." Aria smiled in gratitude as she and the others they entered the Residential Area, before finding Clown rocketing around. "What the?!"
Big Witch showed up. "Ooh! I’m so glad you’re here!"
"What's wrong with Clown?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"I was on my way to get some more supplies when I heard someone screaming and saw Clown riding around. It seems those Oogie baddies installed some kind of engine in Clown’s unicycle! Guys, I wonder if any of you might have something in your bag of tricks that could slow him down." The Big Witch informed.
"It won't hurt him, right Jack?" Mikey checked in concern.
"Of course." Jack confirmed.
"Clown, try and steer your unicycle towards us. We're going to try and help you." Aria instructed.
"GUYS!!! WATCH OUT!!! NO BRAKES!!!" Clown screamed as Jack threw a Halloween Town present at him, before Clown became startled by it long enough for the group to examine the engine.
"We can't get it off." Apple Bloom sadly informed.
"Hmm… I guess the only way to stop Clown is to remove that engine, and not even my spells can do that. If you had some kind of tool, you might be able to take it out while he’s stopped. I wonder where one could find such a tool…" The Big Witch wondered.
"Wait, what kind of bolts does that engine have?" Scootaloo checked.
"Looked industrial. The doc probably has the tool we need." Aria noted.
"That means we need to head back to Doctor Finkelstein." Jack informed.
"Clown, we'll be right back. Try not to smash into anything." Pinkie requested.
"OKAY!!!" Clown shouted as Jack and the ninjas raced back to the doctor's manor and rushed into his lab.
"Place looks a lot cleaner." Aria noticed.
"Doctor, you have a minute?" Jack said.
"Of course, Jack. Is there something you need?" Doctor Finkelstein asked.
"Clown is in trouble. You think we can borrow a tool?" Aria requested.
"A tool? Help yourselves, they’re over there." Doctor Finkelstein answered.
"What's wrong with Igor?" Scootaloo noticed.
"Oh, he’s been babbling about something. Would any of you mind listening to what he has to say?" Doctor Finkelstein asked.
"Sure. The three of us can catch up later." Apple Bloom assured.
"Suit yourselves." Jack responded.
"We'll bring the tool back when we're done, doc." Aria assured.
"It’s not a problem, Aria." Doctor Finkelstein responded with a smile as Jack, Mikey, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash and Aria left. "Kids, always rushing to save the day. To be young, energetic, and having my legs back."
"Nice of the doctor to lend us a tool." Rainbow Dash noted as she and the others got outside of the manor.
"Like I said, he means well." Aria reminded.
"Any idea what Igor wanted?" Pinkie asked.
"Maybe some bone biscuits." Aria guessed.
"Whatever it is, I'm sure they can handle it." Jack said.
"Hehe! I don’t doubt it!" Rainbow Dash agreed.
Meanwhile with the Crusaders, they were fighting a giant spider monster as it screeched.
"Yikes!" Sweetie Belle yelped.
"Scatter!" Scootaloo shouted.
"Right!" Apple Bloom agreed as they dodged.
Back with Jack's group...
"Clown still out of control, Big?" Aria assumed.
"I’m afraid so, but you got it! That bone driver ought to do the trick!" The Big Witch noted as Jack threw a Halloween Town present in front of Clown, with the pop-up leaving him surprised and stunned.
"Hurry up!" Aria urged as everyone scrambled and got the engine off of Clown's unicycle.
"Oh… At last… I’ve finally stopped! Whew! My eyes are spinning!" Clown groaned before he turned away and vomited.
"Anything broken, Clown?" Aria noted.
"N-No. I’m alright, thanks to you guys." Clown answered.
"Clown, what happened?" Mikey asked.
"Well, I just hope those Vampire Brothers up the street are okay. I saw some of Oogie’s monsters headed that way when my cycle went psycho." Clown informed.
"I hope so, too, but that gate is closed and we can’t get through." Jack said.
"No problem. There’s a secret lever on the top of my house. I’ll open the gate for you, and the Mayor’s house is on the other side. Wait, weren't there three more of you?" Clown noticed.
"They’re busy with something." Rainbow Dash answered.
"Here we are." Scootaloo groaned as she and Apple Bloom were covered in webbing while Sweetie Belle smelled awful.
"Okay. I’m no Rarity, but you girls definitely need a shower when we get back home." Rainbow Dash admitted.
"Uh, they can use mine." Clown offered as the Crusaders ran inside Clown's house and into the shower all at once.
"I used to like spiders. Now, not so much." Jack admitted.
"Can’t really blame you there, Jack." Aria agreed.
"Oogie..." Pinkie whimpered.
"Calm down, Pink." Mikey advised.
"We'll take down." Rainbow Dash assured as Pinkie sighed, completely afraid.
Meanwhile, with Oogie and his henchmen...
"Oooh, I love feeling that Crybaby's terror!" Oogie said in excitement.
"So, you're not mad at us?" Lock asked.
"Part of me wants smack you three hard enough to have you three hear bells ringing..." Oogie started saying, scaring the three Trick-Or-Treaters. "But I'm close to my ultimate plan and you three kept my toy intact. I suppose one more chance is in order."
"Thank you, Mr. Oogie." The trio said in gratitude.
"But... Just stall them. You kill them... Bonus." Oogie added as the trio grinned nasty like.
"Definitely better." Sweetie Belle sighed in relief.
"The Vampire Brothers live close by. Follow me." Aria said.
"Vampires?" Scootaloo noted.
"Relax, they're Jack's most loyal and dedicated followers. I've seen those four follow Jack's orders without question." Aria informed as she caught a rat.
"I was just surprised. That’s all." Scootaloo responded as she and everyone entered the house but it was deserted. "Something’s wrong here."
"The coffins are empty." Aria said as she was eating the rat.
"Uh, I find it weird that the furniture here are actually coffins. But what the hey. It’s Halloween Town, lots of twists and turns, right?" Rainbow Dash responded as Mikey found a note on a nearby table and read it.
"Jack, I found something!" Mikey informed.
"What’s this?" Jack wondered.
"Oogie trapped us in our bat forms. Find us and return us to our coffins." Aria read.
"Whoa! Maybe I can help with that." Scootaloo volunteered.
"Use a Vampire to find a Vampire." Apple Bloom realized as Scootaloo turned into a bat and used her echolocation to find one of the Vampire Brothers.
"One's right outside." Scootaloo informed.
"Alright, then let’s go." Apple Bloom declared as everyone found a green and black bat flying around in a panic.
"Guys, be careful. He’s a little disoriented, so he might attack you." Scootaloo warned while still in her bat form as Jack gently grabbed the bat, but it started to panic.
"Calm down. We're your friends." Aria said as Jack struggled to hold him while they brought him inside.
"Feisty, isn’t he?" Mikey quipped as Jack placed him into the bed-shaped coffin, and when Jack closed the coffin with the bat in it, mist came out of the coffin before the bat re-emerged as a vampire.
"…Aaah. At last I’m my old self!" The Eldest Vampire said.
"You okay?" Aria asked in concern.
"What happened?" Jack added.
"My brothers and I opposed Oogie’s plan. We told him this isn’t the Halloween you wanted. So he tricked us and trapped us in our bat form. Sorry, Jack. While I was a bat I couldn’t recognize you, Aria or the others." The Eldest Vampire
"It's fine. You probably just thought we were Oogie's monsters." Aria assured himself.
"Are your brothers stuck as bats too?" Jack noticed.
"Yes, but I’ll need help finding them. Ohhh, my strength…" The Eldest groaned in exhaustion.
"Easy. When was the last time you ate?" Pinkie asked.
"You look undead tired. You should rest. We’ll find your brothers." Jack said.
"For generations, we vampires have been entrusted with the keys to the Mayor's house. Take mine." The Eldest responded as he gave Aria his piece of the key.
"Pinkie, stay here and guard the brothers. Lock the door behind us and don't let anyone in but us." Jack ordered.
"Got it." Pinkie replied as Jack and the rest of the ninjas left before Scootaloo screeched again.
"Got another one and he isn't alone." Scootaloo informed.
"Thanks for the heads-up, Scoots." Rainbow Dash said in gratitude as everyone rushed and hid at a large number of Oogie's skeletons.
"Rainbow Dash..." Jack started to request as he pointed to the Ogre Skeletons among them.
"On it." Rainbow Dash responded as she became intangible and dove into the Ogre. "Let’s do this!" Rainbow Dash declared as she took control and started destroying the skeletons.
"Soul Robber!" Jack shouted as he used his Soul Robber to latch onto the bat as the carnage happened. "Let’s get you back to your coffin."
Unfortunately, the Bat's screech alerted the Skeletons.
"Uh-oh." Mikey dreaded.
"We better hold them off until Jack comes back." Aria suggested.
"Agreed. Scootaloo, go with them." Apple Bloom said.
"On it." Scootaloo responded as she and Jack fled while the others held them back.
"Pinkie, open the door!" Jack shouted.
"Got it!" Pinkie replied as the duo scrambled in while the door closed.
"I heard the commotion from here." Pinkie noted.
"Ran into trouble." Scootaloo informed as Jack placed the bat in the next coffin. When the coffin closed, most came out of it as the elder vampire brother cam out.
"Here Jack… take this piece of the key…" The Elder said as he gave Jack the second piece of the key.
"Thanks. Rest easy now." Jack responded as Scootaloo screeched again, this time it took longer to find.
"Man… throat’s starting to get sore." Scootaloo groaned, putting a wing claw on her throat in ache.
"Sorry. But did you find the next one?" Jack asked.
"Yeah, but it’ll be hard to get there." Scootaloo answered.
"Lead the way. We'll get the others along the way." Jack added.
"Okay." Scootaloo responded as she lead the way and the others caught up, before they arrived in a makeshift arena with the bat, caged up. "Well that explains a lot." Scootaloo noted as an arm sprung out and grabbed Aria's tail.
"Gah! What the?!" Aria gasped with a blush.
"Ambush!" Rainbow Dash shouted as Aria whipped her tail, defeating whoever was on it.
"Don’t touch my tail!" Aria hissed before a skeleton grabbed Sweetie Belle and tried to crush her.
"HELP!!!" Sweetie Belle screamed before Jack sliced the skeleton in half.
"Forget about skeletons. Get the bat!" Jack urged as Rainbow Dash became intangible and grabbed the bat. "Double time it, people!"
"Alright!" Aria responded as Sweetie Belle switched to her Halloween Town form.
"Catch me if you can, boys!" Sweetie Belle taunted as she rode away on her undead horse, with the skeletons chasing after her, forgetting the others
"Everyone inside!" Jack shouted.
"Right!" Aria said as she and everyone else plowed in.
"Third coffin over there." Pinkie informed as Jack put the bat in the coffin and closed it, before mist leaked out of it as the Younger Vampire emerged.
"Here, Jack. We’re counting on you and your friends." The Younger said as he gave Jack his piece of the key.
"Good night, and unpleasant dreams." Jack responded as Scootaloo screeched one last time.
"Hmm… the last vampire’s real far." Scootaloo noticed.
"Lozenge?" Pinkie offered.
"Thanks." Scootaloo said in gratitude as she took the lozenge and put it in her mouth before Sweetie Belle came back from distracting the skeletons.
Soon, everyone found the last bat in the sewers.
"You gotta be kidding me!" Sweetie Belle groaned in annoyance.
"Just grab it before another ambush happens." Mikey suggested.
"Understood." Jack responded, but when he grabbed the bat, the announcement alarm went off.
"NOW WHAT?!" Aria hissed.
"Nothing good." Jack noted
"My dearly abhorred denizens of Oogie Town! Thanks to my own diabolically ingenious thinking, I have decided to become ruler of not only Oogie Town but all the holidays as well. We will soon be able to celebrate “Oogie Boogie Day” seven days every year! Preparations have already been made. I will go secure the final remaining holiday myself. After all, I have a debt to repay. Soon I shall be the Seven Holidays King, so stay tuned! Ba ha ha ha ha!" Oogie laughed as the announcement turned off..
"Please, don't haunt me anymore." Pinkie whimpered.
"Do not let past fears control you, Pinkamena." A familiar voice advised as Pinkie looked and saw Master Splinter.
"M-Master Splinter?!" Pinkie stammered in surprise.
"I understand your childhood demon is tormenting you." Master Splinter sympathized.
"R-Really?" Pinkie asked.
"He has no real power over you. Your fear is what gives him power." Master Splinter said, making Pinkie freeze at that realization. "The power a bully has is what you give them."
"Master Splinter’s right about that, Pinkie." Rainbow Dash agreed as Pinkie looked again and Master Splinter was gone and her friends were back.
"The... The last vampire brother?" Pinkie checked.
"Right here." Aria answered.
"Oh." Pinkie noted as Jack put the last brother in the coffin. As the coffin close, mist came out of it before the Youngest Brother emerged.
"This is the last piece." The Youngest said as he gave the final piece to Jack.
"Thanks." Aria responded in gratitude as the other three brothers emerged, having rested well.
"You guys feel better?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yes. And now the way to the Mayor’s house has been opened to you, my friends. We have to tell you about Oogie’s plan. He used his henchmen to abduct the other Holiday Leaders." The Eldest started to explain.
"So that announcement wasn't just hot air?" Apple Bloom realized.
"Not in the slightest. They dragged the holiday leaders here, then took away the Holiday Doors so the leaders couldn’t return to their own words. Lock, Shock and Barrel then hid the doors in each area of the town so they wouldn’t be discovered." The Elder continued the explaination.
"When I get my hands on those three, it's suppertime!" Aria hissed in anger.
"So the leaders of Valentine’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and the other holidays are being held prisoners somewhere in this town!?" Jack asked.
"Precisely. Oogie’s plan is to take over the holidays and become the Seven Holidays Kings." The Younger answered.
"Oogie's out of his mind!" Mikey dreaded.
"The Seven Holidays King? This is intolerable!" Jack said.
"First you all have to find the holiday doors. Otherwise, you won’t be able to return the leaders even if you find them. Take back those doors and find out where the leaders are being held." The Youngest finished the explanations.
"You guys stay here. Barricade the door and don't let anyone in." Aria ordered.
"Okay. Good luck, everyone." The Eldest responded as Jack and the ninjas exited the room with all four key pieces.
Soon, Jack and the ninjas reached the Towers of Torment section of the Residential Area, with the Mayor’s house beyond a gate.
"Wow, this town has great real-estate." Mikey awed.
"Yes, but we must watch out for those traps." Jack informed as he pointed to the swinging blade traps.
Everyone dodged them and soon came up to the mayor's house. But when they entered the Mayor’s yard, ogre skeletons appeared.
"We don't have time for this." Rainbow Dash groaned.
"Agreed." Jack nodded before Aria took her sunglasses off and everyone looked away. Aria went into her Halloween Town form, turning all enemies into stone, before going back to her normal monster form and putting the sunglasses on. "Put the keys in. The sooner we stop Oogie, the less chance he has getting to Christmas Town."
"Put the keys in." Pinkie repeated as she and everyone else put the keys in.
But then everyone heard something from above. "Help! Help!"
"That sounds like..." Aria started to realize.
"The Mayor!" Jack finished as he and the ninjas looked high above near the roof, seeing the Mayor in a hanging cage.
"Help!" The Mayor called out.
"Everyone inside!" Jack urged as everyone ran inside and saw an insane design to the top.
"Man… This place puts the fright in frightening." Scootaloo noted.
"Doesn't matter. The Mayor needs our help." Rainbow Dash pointed out.
"Right." Scootaloo agreed as everyone ran across the strangling design house.
"Dash, behind you!" Aria shouted.
"Whoa!" Rainbow Dash yelped as she dodged an attack from the emerging skeletons. "Thanks for the heads up!"
"Keep moving forward!" Aria urged.
"Right." Sweetie Belle agreed as she and everyone else cut their way through.
"I'm enjoying these powers!" Mikey smiled.
"Honestly, ditto." Pinkie agreed.
"Now you see why this place is fun?" Aria smirked.
"Yeah!" The Crusaders cheered.
"You can come back anytime." Jack said.
"Let’s beat Oogie first. You know, Seven Holidays on the line here." Rainbow Dash pointed out.
"Agreed." Jack responded while the mayor heard the carnage grow closer and closer.
"Oh, dear." The Mayor dreaded.
"Mayor!" Jack called out.
"You alright?" Aria asked.
"Jack! Aria! Oh, you don’t know how happy I am to see you both! I thought I’d be stuck here forever!" The Mayor said in complete relief.
"Give me a second to fly up." Rainbow Dash quipped as she flew up and brought the cage to the others. "Got him down safely."
Mikey rip the cage open.
"Thank you, uh... Aria, who are your new friends?" The Mayor asked.
"A lot happened while my sisters and I were away." Aria answered.
"Well, it warms my heart you three made new friends." The Mayor smiled.
"Thanks." Aria responded.
"Have you seen any Holiday Doors here?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"I saw some of Oogie’s goons up on my roof. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had it with them." The Mayor informed.
"You’d better climb down from here and evacuate to someplace safe." Jack advised.
"I look forward to seeing Adagio and Sonata at the bottom." The Mayor said, but before Aria could explain, the mayor ran off.
"Drat." Aria groaned.
"We'll explain it to him later" Jack told Aria.
"Okay. I just hope it turns out well." Aria responded.
"Guys, come on!" Apple Bloom urged as everyone rushed to the top.

Shock: First we brought the master back, to take this town away from Jack

The Crusaders threw the trio head first into each other.
Crusaders: YEAH!!!
The trio's head spun as they lean on each other. As the Crusaders got the Independence Day door, Aria did a performance while circling the Trick-Or-Treat Trio in smoke.
"I got your number now/ I know just what you've done/ You've got no place to hide/ You've got nowhere to run/ I know your life of crime..." Aria sang before she wrapped around them tight and drooled in anticipation. "I THINK IT'S SUPPERTIME!"
"Now it’s time to really teach you a lesson." Jack declared.
"Jack, you're not..." Lock started.
"Really going to..." Shock continued.
"Let Aria eat us." Barrel finished asking as Jack said nothing.
"Jack?!" The Trio repeated in horror.
"Now, who’s first?" Jack offered menacingly as the trio panicked while Aria unhinged her jaw.
"Please, no!" Lock said.
"We'll do anything!" Shock begged.
"We'll take you to the leaders!" Barrel added, catching Jack’s attention.
"Aria, stop!" Jack shouted.
"Jack!" Aria responded.
"Take us to the leaders and we'll let you go. Don't..." Jack said as Aria licked her choppers.
"Deal. Just set me and Shock down." Lock responded as Aria dropped him and Shock but kept Barrel
"Trick or treat!" Lock and Shock shouted before Barrel threw down a smoke bomb, causing him to vanish as Lock and Shock ran and jumped onto a button, causing a hole to appear right underneath Jack and the ninjas before they fell right into it. Barrel reappeared in a puff of smoke next to Lock and Shock as the three of them laughed while the hole completely closed.
"Looks like they really fell for that one!" The trio mischievously quipped.
As they fell, Pinkie went down a pipe the others passed
"PINKIE!!!" Rainbow and Mikey yelled.
"Soul Robber!" Jack shouted as he used the Soul Robber to grapple onto a ledge and everyone else grabbed on. "Whew, what a day this has been…"
"Pinkie's gone." Rainbow Dash dreaded.
"Where are we?" Mikey noticed.
"Hmm… What’s this place, indeed?" Jack agreed while Pinkie fell straight into Oogie's room.
"Guys?" Pinkie called out before hearing a familiar dark laughter that made her hair stand on end.
"About time you got here." Oogie said.
"No! It couldn’t be!" Pinkie dreaded.
"Face to face after so many years." Oogie recalled.
"B-Back! Stay back!" Pinkie shouted.
"I got time before your friends catch up. Let's have some fun." Oogie declared as Pinkie started to run away. "Don't bother. This room is locked down tight." Oogie sinisterly smiled as Pinkie started to get scared out of her mind.
Jack and most of the ninjas found themselves in a place where there was lava.
"It looks like a maze." Mikey noted.
"Looks like the only way out is through." Jack said.
"Agreed." Aria responded.
"Stay out of the lava." Apple Bloom advised.
"Yeah." Sweetie Belle agreed before the announcement alarm went off as the went through the trap filled maze.
"Seriously?! Again?!" Scootaloo hissed.
"What now?!" Rainbow Dash asked as she phased through obstacles before Oogie started taunting the heroes.
"Ah ha ha ha ha! You and your friends are going to be torn to pieces, Jack! Do you really think you’ll all make it out of here alive!? It’s so entertaining watching all of you run from my little traps down there. Oh, and I’ve got even scarier traps in store for you later! Best of all, Pinkie says hi! Ba ha ha ha ha!" Oogie laughed.
"OOGIE, YOUR DEAD!!!" Aria roared as the announcement went off.
"Hurry, everyone! Our friend need us!" Jack urged as he and the ninjas ran through the maze, dodging the traps that Oogie made.
"Move it, everyone!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"We need to go fast!" Scootaloo added.
"Trying!" Mikey responded as he and everyone else arrived at a cavern opening.
"Be careful." Aria advised as she and the others jumped down.
"Anyone else thinking there’s a trap here?" Sweetie Belle pointed out.
"Yes, but what choice do we have?" Jack responded as he and the ninjas went down and found seven cages.
"Dude. These look like…" Mikey started to notice.
"Cages." Sweetie Belle finished as Apple Bloom walked up to the cage with the Saint Patrick Day symbol.
"And Ah know what kind o’ cages an’ who they’re for." Apple Bloom realized.
"I found Valentine's Day!" Mikey said.
"Thanksgiving is over here." Aria pointed out.
"Easter right here!" Scootaloo noticed.
"Independence Day is accounted for!" Sweetie Belle added.
"Hold on, there’s stuffed bags in those cages except Christmas and Halloween!" Rainbow Dash realized.
"Just like the Vampire Brothers told us." Aria agreed.
"SANTA!" The Crusaders dreaded in horror.
"I think I speak for everyone when I say 'What the sewer cakes?!'" Mikey gasped.
"Oogie only has five leaders. Jack makes six. That means number seven is..." Aria realized.
"You have GOT to be kidding me!!!" Rainbow Dash groaned.
"He's going after Santa?!" Mikey dreaded.
"Yes. He’s after him again." Jack answered.
"We got to stop him!" The Crusaders declared.
"Agreed." Aria said before another giant spider came.
"Whoa! Deja Vu!" Mikey remembered.
"We don't got time for this!" Aria hissed as she took her glasses off while she turned into her Halloween Town Monster Form, before she glared at the spider with her and all of her hair snakes' eyes, turning the spider to stone as Jack smashed it to pieces.
"Nice job with that Pumpkin Knight Form." Jack smiled.
"Thanks, but I can’t use it too much. Serious dry eyes if I do." Aria responded.
"Guys, there's a tunnel in one of these cages." Rainbow Dash noticed.
"Let's go, everyone!" Jack urged, with the ninjas giving a nod as they and Jack started moving.
Meanwhile, with Oogie and Pinkie...
"Your friends are coming, Pinkie." Oogie darkly smiled.
"Don’t hurt them!" Pinkie pleaded before Oogie released a skeleton made from his bugs, screeching at Pinkie, making the party flinch at the sight as Oogie laughed at her fear.
"You're never going to stand up to me." Oogie mocked as Pinkie saw her weapon in front of her, but was too afraid to get it. "Let's get the party started." Oogie declared as he laughed maniacally.
Jack and most of the ninjas found themselves in a dark room.
"Oogie! Release the Holiday Leaders and our friend!" Jack ordered.
"I can assure you all, the leader of every holiday is right where he should be, and you’re lookin’ at him!" Oogie mocked.
"Where's Santa Claus?!" Mikey asked.
"Miiikey. Weren’t you, Jack, Aria and your friends listening? I said I had a debt to repay old Sandy Claws, a debt I’m going to pay back in person! I don’t want any of you causing any trouble while I’m on my little visit, so I’ve hidden the Christmas door behind something quite nasty." Oogie responded.
"Doesn't matter. It's six against one." Aria pointed out.
"Hehehe, you think so?" Oogie smirked before cages suddenly captured Jack and the ninjas. "I've got my favorite toy to play with." Oogie said as Pinkie whimpered fearfully on the floor. "But I'm fair, Pinkie. Give me back the doors and you and your friends can go home. You'll never hear from me again."
The offer caught Pinkie off guard.
"Don't do it, Pinkie!" Rainbow Dash urged.
"Stand up to him!" Aria added as Pinkie was starting to be scared out of her mind.
"Give me doors and I'll never scare you again." Oogie offered as Pinkie then heard everyone's words about bullies.
Pinkie's hair fell straight as she grabbed Jack's Scythe, it was as if something snapped inside Pinkie, as she became bigger and electricity buzzed around her.
"That does it. You wanna gamble, let's gamble!" Pinkie declared.
"Ooh! Let’s have ourselves a little fun. The Oogie Casino is now open!" Oogie said.
"I'm done being scared of you!" Pinkie growled before a roulette wheel appeared, with Oogie on it.
"What are we gambling for, you ask? Nothing much, just your life! Cue the music!" Oogie declared as he tried to snap, but couldn't. "Uh, you think you could do it please? Downside to not having hands."
"Sure." Pinkie responded as she snapped her fingers, causing music to start playing.
Oogie: Well well well, look what the bat dragged in. Pinkie being brave? Ooh, I’m really scared!
Pinkie: Oogie, your grip on me ends here and now!
Oogie: You’re jokin’! You’re jokin’! I can’t believe my ears! You’re joking me! You gotta be! Best laugh I’ve had in years

Pinkie rushed at Oogie and sliced him hard.
"Gah!" Oogie yelped.
"You know, I just realized, that there’s something I’m even more afraid of than you. All of my friends being gloomy and them being taken away by a bullying bag of bugs." Pinkie said as she kicked Oogie, pushing him back. "Which means, you’re going down… clown."
"Jokes on you all the same!" Oogie taunted as Jack and the other ninjas were released from their cages. "For he who has the last laugh wins!" Oogie declared as he suddenly melted and reformed, revealed to be Shadow Oogie. "Congratulations, “big girl!” You defeated my shadow! Neat trick, huh? The real me is in Christmas Town!"
"You wanna see something, really scary?" Pinkie darkly asked as she then tore her chest opened, causing tentacles of some kind of monster to emerged from her as Shadow Oogie suddenly flew back in fear before she sealed her chest back up.
"Grr…! Why you little!" Shadow Oogie growled.
"Aw, don’t tell me you’re scared of old Pinkie!" Pinkie sinisterly taunted.
"You won’t get away with this!" Shadow Ooggie declared.
"Boo!" Pinkie spooked as Shadow Oogie yelped in fright before he exploded in a blinding light, becoming no more. "Whoa… That kinda freaks even me out."
"Sorry you didn't conquer your fear." Jack apologized.
"Nah, I was just surprised at that explosion of light. That’s all." Pinkie explained.
"Huh?" The others asked in confusement.
"Besides, look up." Pinkie pointed out as sparkles fell from the sky before the Easter door appeared.
"The Easter Door." Jack noticed.
"But where’s the Christmas door?" Mikey asked.
"Well let’s get back to the plaza." Aria said as she jumped into the hole, followed by a splash, before everyone else jumped in after her.
In Halloween Town, Jack and the ninjas emerged from the fountain as the residents cheered.
"Just as I suspected." Aria noted.
"I need to speak with the Mayor." Jack said.
"The Mayor’s in the town hall." Dr. Finkelstein answered as Jack and the ninjas walked into the town hall.
"Jack, Aria, it's terrible! I can't find Adagio or Sonata!" The Mayor panicked.
"That’s the thing, Mayor. They weren’t with me when we were teleported here. But I’m sure they’re looking for me now." Aria explained.
"Oh, that's a relief." The Mayor sighed with a smile.
"Anyway, Mayor, we have a favor to ask. Five Holiday Leaders are trapped in Oogie’s hideout." Jack informed.
"What?" The Mayor gasped.
"We have to follow Oogie to Christmas Town. While we’re gone, we’d like you to kindly escort them to a safe place, and then return each of them to their own worlds." Jack explained.
"You want me to save the Holiday Leaders?" The Mayor asked.
"Exactly." Jack confirmed.
"You can count on me." The Mayor responded with confidence.
"Thanks, Mayor." Aria said in gratitude.
As the heroes approached the gate, Hanging Tree stopped them. "Guys! I’m so glad you’re okay. Oogie took the Spiral Hill road toward the Hinterlands. But his minions are swarming everywhere. They’re guarding Spiral Hill gate. You’ll probably need Zero to help find the gate key. Go trounce those monsters and save us all."
"We will, Hanging Tree. And thanks." Jack responded.
"Like I said before, hordes of corpses roam the Graveyard at night. Be careful." The Hanging Tree warned.
"We will." Mikey replied.
"Everyone, stay in town and lock the gate." Aria said as the citizens of Halloween agreed before the group headed for the cemetery when Zero rushed towards his owner and new friends.
"There you are, Zero! We need your help to find the Spiral Hill gate key." Jack said.
"If you do it, I'll buy you your favorite doggie treats and take you to see my sisters." Aria offered, replied by a happy bark from Zero as he lead the heroes to the key, only to find it guarded by Oogie's skeletons.
"We don't have time for this!" Rainbow Dash growled as she possessed a skeletons and destroyed them.
"Move it!" Scootaloo hissed as she sliced through a bunch of skeletons.
"I got the key!" Jack informed as he sliced a skeleton while he got the key as Zero barked, being glad to have helped his friends.
"Let's get going!" Sweetie Belle urged as she and the other ninjas followed Jack to the gate and charged through the guards.
"We can't keep fighting them." Pinkie pointed out as Rainbow Dash dove into an Ogre.
"Get behind me!" Rainbow Dash said as she plowed through the skeletons straight to Spiral Hill.
"There's the Hinterlands!" Jack called out.
"Looks like we got to leave some of the doors here." Aria noticed.
"Wait, what?" Mikey asked in confusion as Aria point to a lock shaped as 4 of the doors.
"Not good." Pinkie noted.
"We'll stay and guard the doors. You guys go on ahead." Apple Bloom said as Jack inserted the doors.
"You sure about that?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"We can't leave them undefended." Sweetie Belle answered.
"Jack, looks like your girlfriend needs you." Scootaloo noticed.
"Wait, Sally?!" Jack gasped.
"Sal, what are doing here? It's dangerous." Aria said.
"I had to warn you. Oogie’s headed for the Hinterlands. I have a bad feeling more trouble is waiting for you guys down this path." Sally warned as Aria poked Jack with her tail, who nodded as music started playing.
Jack: You give me strength, you show you care. I can not fail with you so near. I know I'd be lost without you.
Jack and Sally: We’ll stand together. Now and forever. And I’ll tell you this very troubled night that we will set things right.
"It’s okay, Sally. Nothing’s going to stop me and my friends from returning Halloween Town to how it was before." Jack assured as Sally smiled. "And afterwards, I'm doing something I should've done with you a while back."
"Stay with the Crusaders, Sally." Aria advised as Sally nodded. "Make sure she's safe, Crusaders."
"Understood." The Crusaders responded as Jack and the other ninjas rushed towards the forest.
"Hey, there's a sign." Mikey noticed.
"Huh?" Pinkie asked in confusion.
"Here lies the Hinterlands, you may enter but you can never leave." Mikey read.
"That’s welcoming." Rainbow Dash quipped.
"Stay strong, everyone." Jack warned as he and the four ninjas head their weapons ready before entering the Hinterlands.
The heroes found themselves in a really foggy forest.
"What happened to the Hinterlands?" Aria asked.
"We'll figure it out later. Everyone, split up and find the holiday doors. But be careful." Jack said.
"Understood." The ninjas responded as they and Jack went in different directions. Rainbow Dash followed a path and discovered a Holiday Door, but it had Oogie's face on it.
"That’s gotta be the seal." Rainbow Dash noted as she was about to take it out when Oogie's skeletons appeared. "Oh? You think you can take me on? Then bring it!" Rainbow Dash roared as she went into her Pumpkin Knight form and electrocuted the skeletons. Then out of nowhere, the forest changed and Jack was next to her with the Independence Day Door fixed. "What the?!"
"When Oogie replaced the doors to seal them up, it must have poisoned the Hinterlands." Jack said.
"What doors did we leave with the Crusaders?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"That's one. Valentines Day." Jack answered as Rainbow Dash grabbed said door, before a huge lightning strike shined bright.
"Pinkie." The duo noticed.
"Huh?" Pinkie said as she heard that while she threw bolt after bolt at the skeletons chasing her as she had the Oogie Thanksgiving door.
"Pinkie, catch!" Jack called out as he threw his scythe to his friend.
"Got it!" Pinkie responded as she caught the weaponed before charging it up and swung a shockwave at them.
"Guys, run!" Mikey yelled as Pinkie charged up the scythe at the Ogres chasing him. "Don't swing! Don't swing!" Mikey repeated before he skidded under Pinkie. "Swing!" Mikey said as Pinkie swung the scythe, destroying the ogre skeletons before Aria showed up.
"Guess we all had the same idea with the Oogie doors." Aria noticed.
"If we replace these Oogie with the ones back in Halloween Town, we can then put them back." Jack theorized.
"I got the other Oogie Doors." Aria said.
"Back to Halloween Town, everyone." Jack informed.
"…Alright." Rainbow Dash responded as she and the others started heading back.
Meanwhile, back with the Crusaders, they were standing guard, but they looked very bored.
"Bored." Sweetie Belle sighed.
"Me too." Apple Bloom agreed as Scootaloo yawned.
"Girls... Thank you." Sally said in gratitude.
"No biggie." Scootaloo responded.
"Just doing out job." Apple Bloom added as she, the other Crusaders and Sally didn't know of the two dangerous monsters were coming.
Jack and the other ninjas were almost back to Sally and the Crusaders as two Ogre Skeletons, one of fire and the other ice, stomped towards the heroes.
"Any trouble girls?" Aria checked.
"Nah, not a sound." Sweetie Belle responded.
"Anyone else feel an ambush is coming?" Mikey noticed.
"Yeah." Scootaloo nodded before the two Ogres, one of fire and one of ice, jumped at them and roared.
"Fire and ice?" Sweetie Belle noted.
"Where have we seen that before?" Pinkie quipped.
"No time. Hit them hard and fast!" Aria urged.
"Better go for the weaknesses!" Mikey advised.
"Right. I got ice." Jack responded.
"I’ll take care of fire here!" Scootaloo added as everyone split up and tried to fight the ogres, but they were too strong.
"How do we beat these guys?" Mikey asked, but when Apple Bloom attacked the ice skeleton, it dropped its weapon.
"I got an idea." Apple Bloom smiled.
"Let’s hear it." Aria responded before Apple Bloom grabbed the clubs.
"Get their weapons!" Apple Bloom informed as she threw the ice club at the fire ogre, dealing massive damage.
"Try to make them smash into each each!" Jack said as everyone hit the Ogres so hard, they collided with each other, making them explode before the final door appeared.
"Alright! We got the last piece!" Rainbow Dash cheered.
"Grab the rest of the doors and let's get to Christmas Town!" Jack urged before they switched the Holiday Doors with the Oogie Doors, everyone charged into the Hinterlands.
The heroes found themselves back in the foggy forest, with the Crusaders being surprised.
"Everyone spread out and put the doors back." Jack ordered.
"Right." The ninjas responded as everyone ran in different directions, carrying different holiday doors. As each door was put back, the Hinterlands was shifting back to normal. And when everyone fixed the other four doors, they discovered a new path.
"That's got to lead to the Christmas door!" Mikey realized.
"Definitely." Pinkie agreed as everyone ran down that path, but were soon met by Ogre Skeletons.
"Talk about desperate." Rainbow Dash quipped
"Hurry and destroy them, everyone." Jack urged as he drew his scythe before he and the ninjas charged at the ogres while Rainbow Dash rushed for the door.
"Almost there!" Rainbow Dash said while just as an ogre was about to grab her, she put the door back in. "Ha! Too late!" Rainbow Dash laughed when the heroes destroyed the last Ogre as the last holiday shifted back among the others.
"Now we can get to Christmas Town." Apple Bloom smiled.
"Yeah!" Sweetie Belle agreed.
"Yahoo!" Scootaloo cheered.
"Get ready everyone." Jack said.
"Right." Aria responded as Jack opened the Christmas Door.
At first, nothing happened, much to the ninjas confusion.
"Something support to happen?" Mikey asked.
"Wait for it..." Jack replied when snowflakes started flowing around the heroes.
"What the?!" The ninjas gasped before they and Jack were sucked into the door, with the Christmas door closing after that.
In Oogie's Hideout, the Mayor was freeing the other five holiday leaders before he finished. "Jack! Aria! I rescued all the Holiday Leaders!"
Meanwhile on a snowy hill, Jack and the ninjas appeared, but Mikey, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, Aria and the Crusaders found themselves in their Christmas forms.
"Oh, no. Look at the damage Oogie's monsters are coming to this beautiful place." Jack dreaded.
"Anyone else noticing me and the other ninjas automatically being in our Christmas forms?" Rainbow Dash pointed out as everyone else started realizing that.
"Wonder that later. Right now we have elves to save." Mikey responded.
"Agreed. We gotta hurry!" Aria urged while many of the elves ran from the skeletons till they saw Jack's scythe impaled one.
"Are any of you hurt?" Jack checked.
"Y-Yeah… but the Christmas Tree’s ruined… It’s decorations are scattered everywhere! Can you guys help us fix it? Please help up!" An elf pleaded.
"Sweetie Belle, can you see where the decorations are?" Jack asked.
"I see a few of them in the buildings. But we have to hurry, Santa is in big trouble." Sweetie Belle informed.
"Major bad news!" Mikey responded in horror as everyone spread out and retrieved the decorations while fighting Oogie's skeletons.
"Man, Oogie's really mean if he's ruining a Christmas Tree." Scootaloo deadpanned.
"I can’t believe I let someone that much of a monster torment me when I was a kid. No offense, Jack." Pinkie said.
"None taken. Honestly, it’s not rude to refer Oogie as a monster at all." Jack responded as Mikey rushed back to the tree with his decorations, he saw a huge nasty-looking iron gate with German Writing. The only thing that was in English was the word "Beware."
"Not even going to open it." Mikey said as he went off back to the others.
"Did we get all the decorations, Sweetie Belle?" Aria asked.
"Yes. Please, hurry and put them!" Sweetie Belle urged.
"Right!" Apple Bloom agreed as everyone put the decorations back and the tree looked a lot better.
"Oh, thank you! You found all the decorations! Now the Christmas Tree is ready for Christmas!" The elf cheered.
"You're welcome. But there's no time!" Sweetie Belle responded.
"Let's go!" Jack urged as everyone ran, but Sweetie Belle went the wrong way before Mikey ran back to get her.
"Wrong way, Sweetie Belle." Mikey pointed out.
"Sorry." Sweetie Belle apologized as Mikey guided her back to the others.
The heroes couldn’t find Santa and met up with two elves before…
"Ho ho hooo! Merry Christmas, Jack, Aria, Pinkie, and their friends!" A familiar laughed as the heroes saw Oogie laughing on Santa’s sleigh.
"That's Santa's Sleigh!" Pinkie noticed.
"What’s Santa doing up there!?" An elf gasped as everyone then saw Santa hanging from a line.
"Put me down this instant!" Santa said.
"Santa!" The ninjas gasped in horror as Jack said with a "Sandy!"
The heroes saw the line attached to a rocket as they saw a chomping Oogie train go on the left track, away from the line.
"Ho ho ha ha ha! Now then, Jack, Aria, Pinkie, Sandy. What are you and your friends gonna do? *Laughter* This’ll be fun to watch! It’s payback time!" Oogie darkly smiled.
"We’ve got to get him down, but how?" A second elf asked.
"We’ve got to change the tracks to buy Sandy some time, then stop that train!" Jack deduced.
"Come on, we got to destroy that train." Mikey urged before Pinkie managed to switch to her Halloween Town form and magnetize the tracks, greatly slowing down the train.
"Guys, hurry. I can't hold it forever." Pinkie said.
"Right!" Sweetie Belle responded as everyone charged at the train, tearing it to pieces.
"Your toy's destroyed, Oogie!" Scootaloo quipped.
"Whew! That was close! *Notices Jack* What? You again!?" Santa asked.
"Sandy, it’s not… well, you see… I’m truly…" Jack tried to apologize.
"Aaaaaargh! Can’t anyone PERISH around here!?" Oogie growled.
"Oogie! Hand over that sleigh back to Santa!" Aria ordered as an elf dropped a Halloween Present into the sleigh.
"Without that sleigh I can’t deliver any presents! An entire year of preparations will be lost." Santa dreaded.
"But good children all around the world are waiting for Santa…" The second elf responded.
"Oogie, you've gone too far this time!" Pinkie growled before jingles were heard as a Halloween Sleigh with reindeer skeletons was brought in by Sally.
"Sally!!" Jack and the ninjas noticed.
"Guys! We have our own sleigh!" Sally said as the sleigh soon landed she came out.
"Good thinking, Sally! Now we can chase after Oogie! *As Santa put on his hat* Come on, Sandy, everyone. Let’s go get him!" Jack declared.
"Jack, Aria, the Mayor returned all the Holiday Leaders back to their worlds!" Sally informed.
"That’s great news, Sally. Thanks!" Jack said in gratitude.
"Yeah, really appreciate it! Now we just need to beat Oogie!" Aria added
"Baaah! Not that rag-doll again!" Oogie groaned as he took off with Santa’s Sleigh.
"Oogie, stop!" Apple Bloom said, but Oogie didn’t even bother listening.
"If we don’t hurry, Christmas will be ruined!" Jack dreaded as an elf showed up.
"Sir, I slipped the Halloween Present you gave me into Santa’s Sleigh! It should activate while Oogie’s flying, scaring the daylights out of him and the reindeer!" The elf informed.
"Thanks! Now let’s get him!" Jack declared.
"Where could Oogie end up exactly?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Holiday Trash Hill!" Aria realized.
"Huh?" Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, Mikey and Crusaders asked in confusion.
"I'll explain on the way." Aria said as she, Jack, Santa and the other ninjas went off on the Halloween Sleigh to chase after Oogie.
In the moonlit sky, on Santa's sleigh, the Halloween present went off, revealed as a jack-in-the-box, scaring Oogie right off the sleigh, causing him to fall down in the sky.
"Jaaaack! Aaaariaaaa! Pinkieeee! You and your friends won't get off so easily!! I'm the Seven Holidays King!" Oogie yelled as he crashed right into Holiday Trash Hill, before getting right back up. "Nooo! This can't be happening! Wha-aaaaaah!" Oogie roared as multitudes of bugs and insects, carrying rags, pieces, parts, trash and other kinds of junk arrived and went into him, making Oogie grow in size and change his appearance as Santa, Jack and the heroes landed.
"Jack! Aria! Pinkie! Mikey! Rainbow Dash! Scootaloo! Apple Bloom! Sweetie Belle! Look!" Santa pointed out as the heroes turned around and saw a giant altered Oogie approaching.
"I won't be afraid. I won't be afraid of you anymore!" Pinkie declared as she rushed forward toward Giant Oogie.
"Sandy! The others and I will take care of Oogie! You hurry up and deliver those presents!" Jack urged.
"Gladly! Merry Christmas, Jack, Aria, Pinkie, Mikey, Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle! Ho Ho Ho!" Santa responded as he flew off on the sleigh to deliver the presents, before Jack and the other ninjas went after Pinkie to help her fight Oogie.
"Hey, those look like gas vents." Aria noticed.
"We can use those to our advantage." Jack added as Rainbow Dash went invisible and flew to Pinkie.
"We have a plan, Pinkie. Keep Oogie distracted and in the middle." Rainbow Dash said.
"Got it!" Pinkie responded as she threw electricity at Oogie, until he attempted to step on her "Grr!!! Why don’t you pick on someone your own size!" Pinkie roared as she went into her Pumpkin Knight form and used her electricity to get bigger, almost as big as Giant Oogie.
"You think you can be brave? All these years of being under my foot and suddenly you think you can stand up to me?!" Giant Oogie growled.
"Oh, I don’t think so. I KNOW so!" Pinkie quipped.
"You'll always be afraid of me!" Giant Oogie said as he threw a punch, before Pinkie dodged it.
"Not anymore! Guys, now!" Pinkie shouted as everyone ignited the gas at once she got out of the way, with the flames hit Giant Oogie dead on as Pinkie shrunk back to normal. "Not appreciating the irony guys!"
"Hey, not our fault you got a Frankenstein body." Mikey pointed out.
"Touche." Pinkie admitted as Giant Oogie fell to the ground.
"Is it over?" Sweetie Belle asked as Giant Oogie got up.
"No. It’s not over yet." Apple Bloom answered as Giant Oogie started becoming bigger.
"Oh, Jack, Aria, Pinkie… I’m just getting started." Mega Oogie declared as he slammed the ground while he roared.
"No matter what, you're not leaving here Oogie!" Jack responded as he and the ninjas snapped their fingers as music started playing.
Mega Oogie: Well, well, well, what a pest, you all are. Still around, oh can't say I like that. So why don't you just give up. You know, surrender
Jack: It’s over! It’s over! Your scheme was bound to fail!
Aria: It’s over! You’re finished here!
Pinkie: You’re next stop will be jail!
Mega Oogie: (Attacking) They mock me, they fight me. I don't know which is worst. I might just split a seam now if I don't die laughing first
Mega Oogie got bigger.
Rainbow Dash: Is that a trick? I am unimpressed. You’re bad and now you’re tall.
Mikey: It makes it all the more worthwhile to see a giant fall!
Jack went into his Santa outfit as the ninjas went into their Christmas Forms.
Mega Oogie: (Attacking) Talk, talk, talk, but I'll tell you. This giants going nowhere. If I were you all, I'd take a hike. There's danger in the air
Giant hail started raining.
Mega Oogie: WOW~
Jack: WOW~
Mega Oogie: WOW~
Ninjas: WOW~
Mega Oogie: WOW~

I’m the only Laughter Queen!
The giant ice balls hit Mega Oogie dead on, damaging him.
"Halloween Town is ours!" Jack declared.
"Well aren’t we confident!" Mega Oogie taunted as Jack turned into his Pumpkin King Form and the ninjas went into their Pumpkin Knight Forms.
Scootaloo: Well, we’re really angry!
Apple Bloom: And there’s plenty left ta do!
Sweetie Belle: We fought your most unwelcome help!
Crusaders: And now we’re after you!
Mega Oogie: (Attacking) Even if you catch me, you can never do me in. I'm ten stories high and just as strong, which means I'm going to win
Mega Oogie: WOW~
Jack: WOW~

Giant geysers of flame erupted, damaging Mega Oogie more.
"This ends here!" Jack growled.
"I’m laughing to death!" Mega Oogie mocked as Jack returned to normal and the ninjas went into their normal Halloween Town forms.
Aria: It's over.
Pinkie: You're finished.
Jack: You'll never get away.
Mikey: You, the Seven Holiday King?
Rainbow Dash: Yeah.
Crusaders: That'll be the day
Mega Oogie: How feeble! How childish! Is that the best you’ve got? You and your friends are heroes, Jack? Well I think you’re all not!
"I’m the Seven Holidays King!" Mega Oogie declared.
"YOU'RE KING OF NOTHING!" The heroes responded.
Mega Oogie: (Getting bigger) WOW~

Everyone struck hard and tore Mega Oogie apart, before bugs then started spilling out of Mega Oogie.
"Grooohh… Not again!" Mega Oogie dreaded in a distorted voice as he started vomiting out bugs. "My precious bugs… My precious bugs… My precious bugs…" Mega Oogie said before he went limp, motionless and deflated.
As Oogie's bug brain tried to escape, Aria caught him with her tail. "Merry Christmas, Pinkie." Aria smiled as she tossed it as Pinkie stomped on the bug, squashing in.
"Hope I don't end up on the Naughty list for that." Pinkie worried.
"I highly doubt that." Santa responded as he returned with his sleigh.
"Santa Claus!" Mikey gasped in excitement.
"Whew! For a moment there I thought I was too late, but I managed to deliver the presents in time." Santa said in relief.
"I’m so… Forgive me, for causing you trouble again." Jack apologized.
"No Jack, this time I owe you and your friends my gratitude. Thank you all for saving my life." Santa replied with a smile.
"Just doing our jobs." Rainbow Dash said.
"And Aria, I have a present for you and your sisters." Santa added as he brought out Lock, Shock, and Barrel, who were gagged and tied up.
"Finally! But since it’s for me and my sisters, I’ll hold onto them for the time being and not eat ‘em right away." Aria noted.
"Assuming the doctor finished our key home." Mikey added.
"Wait… didn’t you look different the last time we saw you?" Pinkie noticed.
"Oh, that is only my form when I’m in battle or Russia. But I can take that form anytime I wish. But I like this humble form as well." Santa answered.
"Don't take this the wrong way, Saint Nick... But we could've really needed the help." Rainbow Dash pointed out.
"True, but I wanted to see you all in action." Santa responded.
"Uh… Why?" Scootaloo asked.
"I have my reasons." Santa simply said as with that, Santa left for home as snow started falling.
"Jack, Sally 3 o'clock." Mikey pointed out as Jack walked towards Sally.
"I was so scared, Jack." Sally worried.
"You know, it’s strange. Whenever I set out to find something new, my eyes are opened to a larger world." Jack remembered.
"You’re not leaving again, are you?" Sally asked in concern.
"No. Something tells me the most wonderful discoveries are a little closer to home." Jack answered as he pulled Sally in closer. "And I'd never leave my new Pumpkin Queen." Jack added as Sally gasped with a blush and Aria smiled at what Jack was gonna do next.
A little while later, in Doctor Finkelstein's manor, Doctor Finkelstein gave Aria another key. "Be sure to come back, kids."
"Sure thing, Doc." Aria responded.
"Bye, everyone." Mikey bid farewell.
"See ya next time!" Pinkie added before she and the other ninjas waved goodbye as the new Town Heroes and headed home.
Aria soon arrived to her sisters with a box in hand. "Hey Adagio, Sonata... Look what Santa brought us." Aria said as she kicked the box open and Oogie's Mischief Makers came out, still bound and gagged.
"What the?!" Adagio gasped.
"Whoa! How did he do that?!" Sonata awed.
"These three are on the Naughty List. They sewed Oogie back together, kidnapped the holiday leaders, terrorized the town, switched the Doctor's brain with one loyal to Oogie, and tried to kill the Crusaders... I call dibs on Shock." Aria informed.
"I’ll take Lock." Adagio said.
"Barrel’s for me. But what happened?" Sonata asked.
"Agreed. How did you know all of that?" Adagio said in agreement.
"Let's just say we got invited to Jack's wedding and I was able to deliver the scythe we got him." Aria answered.
"What?!" Adagio and Sonata gasped.
"Ask later, enjoy the beating now." Aria responded as the siren trio threw their gags off.
"Okay, let's not do anything hasty." Lock nervously said.
"Yeah, all fun and games." Shock added.
"Tis the season for peace?" Barrel scarcely asked as the Dazzlings smiled darkly.
Two weeks later...
"Sally, you look scary beautiful." Adagio said, having become a Phoenix/human monster as she and her little sisters saw Sally wearing a spiderweb wedding dress.
"R-Really, big sis?" Sally nervously asked.
"Absolutely, Sal. Jack is so lucky to have you." Sonata answered, having become a Squid Scylla monster as Zero licked his future owner.
"Heh. And Zero’s excited for this happening too." Aria added as Rainbow Dash phased in.
"Aria, Jack needs all the knights right now for the escort ceremony." Rainbow Dash informed.
"On it, Dash." Aria responded.
As Sally was brought up, Mikey and the others stood at attention while Sally walked up to Jack with Shock limping as the flower girl.
"Dearly horrid citizens of Halloween Town, we are gathered here to wed our beloved Pumpkin King with Sally. The rings?" The Mayor requested before Lock and Barrel acted as ring bears as Barrel wheeled up in his wheel chair and Lock limped on his crutch.
"Do you, Jack Skellington, take Sally to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The Mayor asked.
"I do." Jack answered.
"And do you, Sally, take Jack to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The Mayor added.
"I do." Sally responded.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!" The Mayor said as Jack and Sally kissed with the townpeople cheering.
"ALL HAIL THE PUMPKIN QUEEN!" Mikey cheered.
"ALL HAIL YHE PUMPKIN QUEEN!" The other Pumpkin Knights and Dazzlings added.
"ALL HAIL THE PUMPKIN QUEEN!" The townsfolk repeated as the Dazzlings snarled at the injured trio to cheer.
"All hail the Pumpkin Queen." The trio nervously said as everyone else was enjoying the party, then it started to snow as Jack and the ninjas looked up and saw Santa on his sleigh, flying in front of the moon.
"Ho Ho Ho! Congratulations, Jack!" Santa congratulated.

"You know something, guys... I love the adventures we get into." Mikey smiled.
"Hehe. It really is never dull when that happens." Aria agreed.
"To friendship and new adventures!" Rainbow Dash declared as she raised her drink.
"I'll drink to that." Pinkie agreed.
"Uh guys, I wouldn't drink this..." Aria noticed as she sniffed her drink.
"Yeah, me neither." Adagio agreed as she sniffed her drink, but it was too late as the others did a spit take.
"Some people are such lightweights." Sonata tsked.
"What is this stuff?!" Mikey asked in disgust.
"You don't want to know." The Dazzlings said as they vomited, while the Goofball Trio didn't know that their next adventure would be high as the sky.
