Well, you get to know me soon; this is how I became the hero I always wanted to be. Even if it meant I had to do some strange things to accomplish it.
Such as; fly in a metal suit, fight some bad guys, save my little sister. Maybe even fall in love.

Two days after Adam and Fluttershy’s wedding
On the coast of Canterlot City, on the beach that friends and family would often come to for days out; stood a girl, a girl encased in a purple and gold suit. She looked down at her armour, admiring the fine work her friend did in building it; but she had to hurry, she had a date.
“Come on Rarity, it’s only dinner.” The armoured girl muttered to herself.
Rarity then activated the suit, Twilight told her as it was still a prototype, she had to run through all the systems before she could take off. “Okay, here we go.”
The suit began running the diagnostics, parts of the armour began shifting; the shoulder plates lifted up and down, a small gun emplacement opened up but then closed again, and the jet boosters in the left opened and closed to see if they were working.
Inside the helmet, Rarity’s face was surrounded by holo-charts and system readings; a virtual environment for her to keep an eye on her suits power and systems.
“Suit diagnostics computer; prep the cutlery, its dinner time darling.”
Once it was ready, Rarity activated the suits thrusters and propulsion system; the flames began to escape from the boots, lifting the suit and its pilot into the air. She then leaned forward, also activating the jets boosters in her hands; and enough momentum was built up, she shot off like a rocket.
Rarity cried out in joy, the suit flew through the air like a plane, but as calmly as a bird; she enjoyed just flying in circles over the beach.
Wanting more of a challenge, she decided to fly through the city; Rarity avoided the buildings and kept at easy pace. Using the lenses in her helmet, she could see things from a distance; such things as people walking their dogs on the street, a runner going home after an evening jog, even a little kid enjoying an ice cream their mom had just bought for them.
After flying around a tall tower, Rarity wanted even more of a challenge; adding more power to the thrusters, she began to rocket up into the air.
Using the computer in her suit, she research something; the highest a plane has ever gone is eighty-five thousand feet, she wanted to go higher. So she added more power and went even faster; higher and higher she got, until this happened.
Inside her helmet, a red light began flashing on one of the holo-screens, indicating she was going too high; right up until the suit was starting to freeze up. Ice was forming on the outer shell, and the systems were starting to shut down; as the glowing blue eyes began flashing, Rarity knew she was in trouble.
The suddenly, the thrusters gave; all power was gone.
With nothing holding her up, Rarity began to fall back to Earth; she screamed like crazy when this happened, she began her dissent back to the surface.
She tried screaming at the suit to get it to work, “Activate back up thrusters!” but nothing happened. “All power to main flight control!” Still nothing happened; the ground was getting closer.
“Come on, we have to break the ice.” Rarity pulled a little panel off her knee joints, there was something inside; it was a small switch, she twisted the switch just in the nick of time. This opened up all the panels on her suit, breaking the ice off her armour; once the cold was gone, the suit reactivated and so did the thrusters.
Just before Rarity hit the street, her suit flew her up into the air again; she once again cheered like crazy when this happened, “Woohoo!” she cheered.
Rarity decided that was enough fun for tonight, it was time for her date; she put the coordinates of the location into her suit and flew there straight away. The location was of course, Fancy Pant’s off-shore island house.
The armoured-hero landed her suit outside the front door, once she was on the ground safely, Rarity pushed a button on her arm controller. The iron suit began to fold away, it was getting smaller and smaller until all that was left was a small back piece; Rarity took the piece off her back and put it in the hand bag.
Now that she was out of the armour, the dress she was wearing was beautiful…
Rarity rang the doorbell of the large house and waited for it to be answered. The door opened on its own, Rarity knew she was expected, so she entered the house and made herself at home.
“Fancy Pants.” Rarity called out, looking for her date; she then heard his voice coming from upstairs.
He replied, “Just coming down now, my dear.”
When he walked into the room, he was holding something in his hands; he took that something over to one of the boxes that was piled up in the corner, there were quite a few boxes there. Rarity walked over to see what it was, it was a revolver gun and it’s bullets, in a small display case; Fancy Pants opened the box and place the gun inside. “My father always told me to stick to your guns; we did it his way for too long, now it’s time to let the past go.” After saying that, he closed the lid of the box.
The fancy man then turned to his date, and noticed the stunning dress she was wearing; he said, “My word, you look wonderful, Rarity.”
She replied, “Thank you, Fancy’.” She noticed the well-tailored suit he was wearing as well, “You look rather handsome yourself.”
Fancy Pants guided her to the stairs, “Let’s take this to the balcony, we can just catch the sunset.” He explained. Rarity took his arm and they both walked up the stairs, they spoke as they walked.
“Tonight is a special night.” Rarity said. “As of today, your company no longer makes or sells weapons of mass destruction.”
“Correct, my dear. Which means there just a few loose ends that need tying up.” Fancy Pants explained.
When the two of them reached the balcony, Rarity noticed the table with plates and candles; she asked, “A candle lit dinner?” she walked over to admire the table, but she noticed something was missing. “Where’s the cutlery?”
Fancy’ replied, “I thought we’d use our hands.” He picked up a camera that was on the table and aimed it at Rarity standing by the sunset, she did a cute pose for him before he took the picture.
“No very formal.” Rarity said back, but still smiling at his charm.
He walked over to the table and took the cover off one of the plates, there was no food there, just a remote. And suddenly, something flew over them; Rarity turned her head to see what is was, she noticed three drones flying around the air.
Fancy Pants took the remote and explained, “I don’t, but I thought they deserved a proper send off.” She gestured to the remote, “The self-destruct button.”
Rarity said to him, “If you’re going to blow stuff up, do it away from the breakable material.” Fancy Pants then programmed the drones to fly up high into the air, he then pushed the button and the two them watched the drones explode into particles.
Once the little air show was done, Rarity turned to the second plate, “And what’s this?”
“Desert.” He replied.
“Something sweet?”
“Bittersweet.” Fancy Pants took the cover of and showed her, it was a round device with a large power button in the middle. He picked up the device and pushed the power button, it then started to hover in the air; once it got high enough, it projected something underneath it.
It was a red hologram of a man, or was it a cat?
“Hey boss.” The hologram said.
Fancy Pants replied, “Hello Capper.”
Rarity looked at the hologram, it was cross between a man and a cat, wearing only a long red coat. Capper looked around, he looked up and saw the remaining particles of the combat drones; he surprised as to why they were blown up.
“So, not a fan of my combat drones; you know the military put in a huge order for them and…”
“I cancelled that order.” Fancy’ cut him off.
Capper replied, “What? Why?” The hologram took a second to think about it, then the answer came to him. “You’re shutting me down.”
The fancy man explained, “Think of this as an early retirement; you’ve earned it. It’s just… building weapons presented an image; for a while it was a good image…”
Capper held up his hand to stop him, “And now you want to change that image.” The cat hologram walked away from the table, followed by the drone above his head. Fancy Pants was about to go after him, but Rarity stopped him.
“Let me talk to him.” She said.
Rarity walked over to Capper, when the cat saw her approaching, he said to her, “You know, he spoke very highly of you when we worked together; I was almost jealous he got hang out with you and I didn’t. But of course he’s something that I’m not.”
The fashion girl asked, “What’s that?”
“Isn’t it obvious; he’s real, I’m not.”
“Don’t talk like that, you’re real; and you’re just as important as anyone.”
Hearing those words made Capper feel a little better, he turned back to Fancy Pants and was ready for this; he made a little joke to ease himself ,”So where am I going, the trophy case or the trash.”
Fancy Pants shook his head and said, “Don’t be like that, I’ll keep you around; suspended animation, with full internet access.”
“Then let’s get cracking.” Capper rubbed his hands together and turned to Rarity, “Would you care to do the honours?”
Rarity nodded, Capper disappeared before the little drone flew down to Rarity’s hands; once the device was in her palm, she pushed the power button to shut it down. She handed the device to Fancy Pant and he took the device to a box on the side, he placed Capper into the box and closed the lid.
“He was good at what he did.” Rarity said.
Fancy’ replied, “Yes, but what he did wasn’t good.” He turned back to her and explained, “The world doesn’t need another smart bomb or tank missile. Right now, the world needs hope; and I’m going to use all my resources to give it hope.”
Once the goodbye ceremony was done, it was time the two of them had a proper dinner; they both went back inside and enjoyed their meal together. But Rarity kept this feeling about her, this wasn’t the last they going to see of Capper.
I was proud of Fancy Pants, he’d turned over a new leaf; now his company to benefit the world without blowing it up.
He’d left all his mistakes in the past….
I just wish they’d have stayed there.
4 Months Later…
Cruising through the sky, a private jet was soaring towards its destination; on this plane, Rarity was in her seat. Fancy Pants had some business in Las Pegasus, he had invited Rarity to accompany him there; and something else was planned.
Fancy Pants was opening a new music house, and he needed a band to play the opening night; Rarity had provided the answer. Ever since the Battle of the Bands at Canterlot High, the Cutie Mark Crusaders had put together their own little band; they’d played a few shows for the school, this was their first big performance.
It took some convincing, but Fancy Pants agreed to it; CMCs would be flying out to meet Rarity tomorrow and would arrive the next day.
The fashion girl was sat on her phone, with it in flight mode of course; her attention then turned to the brief case she kept with her. It was lying on the table in front of her, Rarity decided to check the cargo; using her thumb print, she opened the lock on the case.
When the case opened, it revealed the Iron Heart armour; folded and contained in the briefcase.
Suddenly, out a nowhere; someone appeared next to Rarity, “Incredible as always, Miss Rarity.” The woman said.
Rarity turned to her and replied, “Thank you, Darling.”
This was Fancy Pants’ new AI assistant, Coco Pommel; like Capper, she was a hologram, of a human this time. Her entire body was a bright teal colour and she could be project from any device owned by Fancy Pants.
Coco and Rarity got along very well, despite Coco being an AI; Rarity even intrusted her with her little secret. Coco promised to keep it from her boss, despite it being against her programming; she was as alive as any human being.
That’s when she was reminded of something, “Have you seen the news, miss?” Coco waved her arm, the two TVs across the cabin turned onto the news, the report was about Fancy Pants.
“It has almost been four months since millionaire, Fancy Pants, came on the air and announced his company withdrawing from the weapons manufacturing business. Leaving that line of work in the hands of his father’s oldest partner, Silvermane.” The reporter explained.
When the report was finished, Coco disappeared out of sight, then reappeared in the chair opposite Rarity; the AI said, “You can’t help but be proud of him.”
“Yeah, he’s done well for himself now.” Rarity replied.
As she said that, the pilot’s cabin door opened and the man himself stepped into the cabin; Fancy Pants walked into the room, looking all smart and confident. Rarity said to him, “You seem cheerful.”
Coco decided to leave them alone, she fazed out of the room.
Fancy Pants replied, “I have every reason to be; I have a successful business, and beautiful girl accompanying me to one of the greatest cities in the world, and the auto-pilot has just enough power to get us there.” He then walked over to Rarity, took her hand and kissed it. “I just hope this girl returns my affections.”
“She does. As long as you keep your word and all your promises.” Rarity stated.
The millionaire walked over to the coffee machine, he poured the two of them a drink; Fancy Pants took the two coffee over to the table, he handed one of the coffees to Rarity when…
All of a sudden, the plane started shaking, causing Fancy Pants to drop the coffees; that’s when Rarity noticed something out the window.
“Is that a…. drone?” she asked.
Fancy’ looked out the window, he saw it to; Rarity was right, it was a Mark 7 Combat Drone. The millionaire stated, “A combat drone, my company doesn’t make combat drones anymore.” Suddenly, the window blind came down, blocking their view of the drone.
After they were sitting in the dark, something appeared on the TVs and Rarity’s phone; it was a hooded figure. “Do we know you, Darling?” the fashion girl asked.
The figure on the screens began to talk, her voice sounded mechanised, “Not you, but I know Fancy Pants all too well.”
“I’m sorry, my dear; but I’ve never seen you before in my life.” Fancy’ replied.
With her eyes glowing red, the figure replied, “I’m just a ghost from your past; and trust me, the past is coming back to haunt you.” The blinds on the window on the other side of the cabin began to raise, giving the two passengers a good view of the combat drone now flying on the other side of the plane.
The two of them watched a shield form around the drone, Coco Pommel came online and explained, “It seems the drone has encased itself in a hard like shield; and it’s charging up its turbo-laser.”
The drone aimed its cannon at the side of the plane, once it was fully charged up; the drone fired.
“Time to die.” The mechanised voice was heard saying.
A green laser was fire at the plane, blowing a hole in its left side; all the air was being suck out of the plane. Rarity and Fancy Pants had their seatbelts strapped in tight, but the same couldn’t be said for Rarity’s case; the pull from the gravity sucked her briefcase out the hole in the plane.
Rarity said to Coco, “Darling, your airline just lost my luggage!”
“Well, file a complaint when we land.” Coco joked back.
The fashion girl whispered this next bit, “Override my safety belt.” Rarity had to make this look good; when belt came undone, she shouted to Fancy’, “Help! My belt came loose.” She pushed herself off, making it look like she was being pulled out; she pretended to scream as the air pulled her out.
“No!” Fancy Pants yelled as she was pulled away.
Rarity was now falling through the sky; luckily, she was wearing her sunglasses. These sunglasses had wireless tech in them, connecting her to Coco; she said to the AI, “Coco, I’m feeling a little vulnerable out here.”
Coco replied, “Understood.”
The briefcase that Rarity was chasing after was seen in front of her, the case then began to transform; the armour inside gave to the outside, it opened up and allowed Rarity to fall inside it. Once the armour closed around, it came online; the thrusters activated and elevated her in the air.
“That was a close one, Darling.” Rarity said to Coco.
Suddenly, three Mark 4 Combat Drones shot right past Iron Heart; they were heading right for the plane. Iron Heart ignited her thrusters and flew back up towards the plane; it was time for her first solo mission as a superhero.
Back inside the plane, Fancy Pants had managed to escape the cabin and make into the cogpit, the autopilot was failing, he would have to take control of the aircraft himself.
Once h sat down on the pilot’s seat, he received communication from something nearby.
“Craft in distress, can you hear me?” the disguised voice asked.
Fancy’ replied, “Yes, I can hear you; who is this?”
“This is Iron Heart, the superhero, coming to aid you in your time of need.”
The millionaire said back to her, “Please, you have to help someone; Miss Rarity was sucked out of the plane, it might be too late but you have to…”
Iron Heart cut him off, “You have nothing to worry about sir; I already found Miss Rarity falling from the plane. She explained your situation and I’m here to help.”
“Oh thank goodness; thank you ever so much.” Fancy Pants replied.
“That’s quite alright, my good sir; just stay where you are and I’ll take care of the rest.” Iron Heart explained.
Iron Heart was flying circles around the plane, she was scanning it for weak structures and anything that required her attention. Coco, who was speaking to her through the comm device in her helmet, was telling her the problems that needed to be resolved.
“Miss Rarity, there’s an engine fire that could cause the plane to lose altitude.” The AI explained.
Rarity replied, “I’ll take care of it.” She flew over to the flaming engine; her repulsers switched to her new fire-suppression mode. The hero aimed her palms at the fire and released fire-extinguisher; the flames were gone in a manner of seconds.
The hero flew away from the plane to get a better look, Rarity then said to Coco, “Scan the plane for Fancy Pants.” The AI ran the scan, it located him in the cogpit where he was before; but then the systems in Rarity’s armour began to glitch.
The computerised voice from before was then heard through Rarity’s comms, “You’re one of those superheroes that works for Spiderman.”
Iron Heart replied, “I work with Spiderman, not for Spiderman.”
“It doesn’t matter, this is none of your business; stay out of my way or I’ll have to kill you to.” The voice explained.
Mark 4 Combat Drones then flew into the scene, they had their weapons aimed at the plane; Iron Heart noticed this and flew down towards them. Using a powerful punch, Rarity hit one of them away, causing it to explode. The other three noticed this, and began attacking the threat; the three drones began chasing after Iron Heart.
The drones fired laser blasts at the hero, trying to knock her out of the sky; but Rarity used her repulsers to blast them away. When the last one exploded from her blasts, she turned her attention back to the jet; Coco had run another scan.
She explained, “Miss Rarity, Fancy Pants is having trouble piloting the plane; one of the wings has been damaged which are locking the controls in place.”
Rarity flew to the left wing of the plane, a piece of debris was locked in the joints; using her armour’s strength, Rarity pulled the broken joint back into its right place. She then radioed to Fancy Pants, telling him to regain control of the plane.
“Mr Fancy Pants, you should be able to manually control the aircraft.” She explained.
He replied, “Yes, I have it; and there’s a runway I can make a safe landing on just ahead of us.”
Iron Heart radioed to Coco, “Activate the landing gear for him.” She did as commanded, the landing gear for the plane began to open up; unfortunately, the wheel at the front was stuck.
“Miss Rarity, the front landing gear door is jammed; I can’t override it.” The AI explained.
The hero decided the only way to get that thing open was for her to pry it open herself, she explained, “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.” Rarity flew to the landing door, she grabbed the hatches and used the suit’s strength to tear it open; that did it, the final landing wheel was down.
Rarity flew up and landed on the roof of the plane, she believed everything was going to be alright now; but she celebrated too soon. Suddenly, all the systems in Rarity’s armour began to shut down; the grip she had on the roof of the plane was lost, the gravity pulled her away.
The only system that was still working was the comms, and from them she heard, “I warned you, Iron Heart; now you get watch and see how you failed.” The mysterious voice somehow got Rarity’s thrusters to work, leaving her hovering in the air.
“Coco, you have to get my systems back online.” Rarity cried.
Struggling to comply, the AI system replied, “I working hacking my way through the block.” Coco then detected something else as well, “Miss Rarity, the Mark 7 Drone is back.”
Rarity saw the drone teleport out of nowhere beside the private jet, the machine charged up its laser cannon, before firing a bright green beam at the undamaged wing; now there was nothing keeping the plane in the air.
“Ah!” Fancy Pants screamed into the comm.
The situation just became more serious, Rarity was now yelling at Coco, “You have to get my suit back online.” There were some beeps and clanks in the armour, but the suit eventually came back online; Rarity ignited her thrusters to full max and blasted after the plane.
As the plane was falling out of the sky, Rarity needed a way to get Fancy Pants out of there; she managed to reach the jet, and landed on top of the cogpit. Using one of her repulsers, Iron Heart started cutting a hole in the roof; she ripped away the metal and saw Fancy Pants in the pilot’s seat.
“Time to go, my good sir.” The hero stated. She picked him up by his back collar and pulled him into her arms; once she had him, they both flew away.
Unfortunately, they were unable to save the plane; they both watched as it exploded before their eyes. Pieces of debris were falling to the ground, the entire jet was gone.
Iron Heart flew Fancy Pants to Las Pegasus herself, so she could drop him off at the hospital; then she could figure out what the heck just happened.
It was 3am when I dropped Fancy Pants of at the hospital, and then I went to where we were supposed to be staying; a penthouse apartment he’d bought for his trips to this city. I had to make up a story about how Iron Heart saved me and dropped me off there.
Then it was time for an idea, and I knew Fancy’ wouldn’t like it; I had no choice, I had to wake up the one who knew these weapons better than anyone.
Rarity approached one of Fancy Pants’ suitcases, she unzipped it and opened it; she didn’t really feel comfortable going through his stuff, but this was important. After going through most of his bags, she found what she was looking for.
Inside was a little cardboard box, with a label on it; the label read, ‘Capper’.
“Hello again.”
She took the box out of the bag and took it over to the bed, and placed the box on it; she used both hands to remove the lid, there she saw the small drone device. Rarity took it out of the box, she then reached for the power button; and pressed it.
The little drone flew into the air, once it got high enough, it projected the hologram of Capper underneath it; once the AI’s body was constructed, and he noticed Rarity in front of him, the cat man said, “What is up, Rarity; where’s the party.”
Capper hadn’t changed that much; his look was still basically the same, except for the Hawaiian flower necklace he had around his neck.
Wanting to break the news gently, Rarity started the talk with, “I’m afraid the party’s over.” Capper’s smile then went away.
The AI turned around to see where he was, it wasn’t a place Fancy Pants or anyone had taken him before; while he was looking, Capper noticed something on the coffee table. “Wow, blast from the past.” He said.
He walked over to the table, followed by his little drone; Rarity followed him and explained what it was, “It’s a power core, darling; pulled from a combat drone. Do you recognise it?”
“Of course I recognise it, I built it.” Capper replied. “The power core for a Mark 4 Combat Drone; where’d you get it?”
Suddenly, without warning, Coco Pommel appeared before them, “Miss Rarity, Master Fancy Pants has been moved to a secure location, but I don’t if he’ll…” the female AI stopped talking when she noticed the other hologram in the room. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realise we had company.”
Capper put on a smile and replied, “I’m more like family.” He walked over to Coco and put his hand over her head, “Mind catching me up, sweetheart.” It was like he could absorb data, because ones and zeros were pulled from Coco and put into his hand.
“Hey, I’m not a touch screen!” Coco cried.
Rarity said to cat man, “Capper, show some respect.”
But he wasn’t listen, he projected the data he absorbed onto the TV on the wall; the screen then showed a news report about Fancy Pants being in the hospital. Rarity notice dhow concerned he suddenly looked; she walked over to him and asked, “Are you okay?”
All the cat could reply with was, “Fancy Pants…” he then turned to the two girls, “And the cowards who put him there.”
Explaining everything, Rarity replied, “Still at large; I need you to help me find them.”
“Oh we’ll find them, Rarity, and when we do.” In his hands, particles of code formed a tiny sphere; the sphere then exploded in his hands. Rarity got the basic understanding of what he meant by that; this was personal for him now.
The next morning, after Rarity was able to get a good few hours of sleep, she was woken up by the sound of music coming from the other room. When the fashion girl got up, she discovered she’d fallen asleep in the clothes she was wearing yesterday; this wasn’t like her at all, so she quickly changed and tidied herself up a bit before leaving the bedroom.
When Rarity walked into the main living room, she noticed something on the coffee table; still in its display case, was the revolver gun that belong to Fancy Pants’ father. Rarity asked, “Did Capper take this out of storage.” She remembered Fancy Pants telling her most of his old stuff was sent here to be put in storage.
She then walked over to the kitchen for some breakfast, only it wasn’t a kitchen anymore; someone had filled it with lab equipment.
Suddenly, Capper appeared next to Rarity, a simulated cup of coffee in his hand and a smile on his face, “Morning Rarity, you sleep okay?”
“Yes, Capper; it was lovely.” Rarity replied. “What is all this?” she asked, gesturing to the lab equipment.
Capper explained what this was for, “Well, we have no idea who we’re up against, all we know is that they’re using my drones; so I thought I’d even the odds. This is where we can make upgrades to your suit; make it faster, stronger, upgrade the weapons.” After he explained that, Coco appeared next to Rarity.
The fashion girl realised something and had to ask the cat man, “How did you know about my suit?”
“Well, when I hacked miss Smarts-sa-lot’s systems; I might have picked up some data on you being the superhero, Iron Heart.” Capper replied.
Coco turned to him and said, “You hacked my systems?” she wrapped her arms around her body. “Uh, I feel so violated.”
Rarity cut in and said, “Calm down, both of you; did you find anything out from that power core I gave you, Capper?”
The cat AI brought them both over to a video screen, he showed them what he had learnt; he began the explanation, “Well, I discovered that these drones were made from the original design; the original blueprints were used, the design is an exact match.”
“But all the blueprints for the combat drones were erased from our servers; how did this person get them?” Coco Pommel asked.
“I was getting to that.” Capper replied. “Right here in Las Pegasus, in Fancy Pants’ company building; they have backups of all the blueprints the company have ever designed. They keep record of them on the off chance they ever become useful again; that’s where our mystery friend got the designs.”
After the little presentation, Rarity said, “It’s also the best place to start looking for clues to who this person is.” She then walked over to the case on the kitchen counter, she pushed a button on its side, causing the case to transform into the Iron Heart suit.
Before she could put the suit on, Coco said to her, “Before you go racing of to be a superhero; I should remind you that your little sister and her friends are arriving today. You need to pick them up from the airport.
“Oh, that’s right, darling.” She walked over to the front door, she took one of the many car keys on the hooks by the window. “I’m sure Fancy Pants won’t mind if I borrow one of his cars.”
“And while you’re gone, I take a look at your suit and see if I can make some improvements.” Capper explained. With that said, Rarity left the penthouse and went to the airport.
Later that day, Rarity and the Cutie Mark Crusaders were driving in the back of Fancy Pants’ automated limo; with Coco Pommel driving, all the girls had to do was sit back and relax while the car took them back to the apartment.
Scootaloo was the first one to talk, “I can’t wait to see where we’re going to be staying.”
“Yeah, I bet it’s going to be amazing.” Sweetie Bell said.
Applebloom said next, “Yeah, I want to see the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the kitchen.”
Suddenly, as Applebloom said that, Rarity realised something; the moment the CMCs walk into the apartment, they’ll see Rarity’s suit. She couldn’t let the girl find out her secret, so she had to work fast.
Rarity used her phone to call Capper at the penthouse, when he answered, Rarity said, “Capper, you need to move all the Iron Heart stuff out of the kitchen and put it somewhere else.”
“Oh right, your sister and her friends; can’t have them seeing all this stuff.” The cat AI replied. He then asked her, “So where should I put it?”
The fashion girl thought fast, she just said the first room that came to her head, “My bedroom.”
Capper quickly replied, “Done and done.” He then hanged up the phone; all Rarity had to do was trust him not to mess this up.
When the girls arrived at the penthouse, they were amazed at the size and décor of it all; Sweetie looked at the art on the wall, Applebloom could smell the delicious food coming from the fridge and Scootaloo could imagine living in a place like this as a world famous scooter stunt person.
Once they were inside, Rarity glanced at the kitchen; she sighed in relief when she saw Capper had successfully moved all the lab equipment and the suit out of the kitchen.
“Wow, Fancy Pants’ living room is as big as the entire bottom floor of our house.” Applebloom stated.
Rarity then said to the girls, “Why don’t you let Coco show you to your rooms, I’m just going to freshen up in mine.” Rarity walked away as Coco appeared in front of the girls; this was the first time they’d actually seen her.
Scootaloo said, “Wow, a real life hologram person; I can’t wait to tell Rainbow Dash.” The three girls followed the AI to their rooms, while Rarity entered hers a saw the cat man work hard.
Capper had just uploaded something to the Iron Heart suit; the armour lifted its arm up and opened a small compartment behind the wrist. When the compartment opened, the suit equipped five small missiles.
The cat turned to Rarity and asked, “What do you think, I call them smart missiles; once you lock them onto a target, they won’t stop until the targets destroyed.”
“I thought you didn’t make weapons anymore, Capper.” Rarity replied.
“That was before you took me out of retirement.”
Coco then appeared before the two of them, she explained, “The girls are relaxing in their rooms, you are now free to carry out your investigation at the office building, miss Rarity.”
The hero then said, “Then what are we waiting for, darlings?” Rarity stepped over to her armour; the suit opened up automatically, she stepped inside and the suit closed around her. Once she was suited up, Rarity walked over to the window; before she left, she gave instructions to Coco.
“Just tell the girls that I’ve gone out to the store, they’ll understand; if they learn anything about this, they’ll be in danger.” Iron Heart explained.
Without making too much noise, Rarity jumped out of the large window and activated her thrusters; she then flew towards the office building, hoping and praying she could end this tonight.
Back in the day, buying a high-powered weapon meant buying a seat at the high-stakes table. Fancy Pants’ weapons put some countries on the map; and took some of them off it.
Occasionally, his tech wound up in the wrong hands; but nothing like this.
The sun was just setting as Iron Heart landed on a roof that could overlook the entire city; from there, she could see the building she was after. As she looked down at the streets, Rarity couldn’t help but notice they were missing something, people.
“The streets are deserted.” The hero stated.
Coco’s systems came online in the suit, the AI replied, “The city’s under curfew, Miss Rarity. It appears word about the jet spread to the news pretty fast; the police issued that no one should go out after dark with the attacker on the loose.” The Iron Heart armour then ran a scan of the office building Rarity was going to, “Not only that, but the office building is in lockdown mode.”
Rarity then said, “Let’s try and get inside, we need to find out how the attacker got the drone designs.” Iron Heart launched herself off the building and flew towards the office tower; she could see the entire city from the sky.
Suddenly, without warning; something came up on Coco’s scanners, something she’d not seen before. “Miss Rarity, I have a new signal; incoming.”
“Combat drones?” Rarity asked.
“Maybe, keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary.”
That’s when Iron Heart saw what Coco was talking about; it was a drone, but not one Rarity had seen before. This drone was circular shaped; with a large dome on the front and thrusters on the back. The machine generated a green shield around its front, the drone then rushed towards Rarity and bashed her out of the sky.
The hero fell to the streets, creating a hole as she crashed into the road.
When she got up again, Rarity said to Coco, “What is that thing?” The AI ran a scan on the drone, it was in her data banks.
“It’s a Mark 3 Battering Ram Drone, Miss Rarity.” Coco explained. “It was designed to act as a shield in combat, and it can break down barricades with is charging-attack.”
Rarity jumped into the air and shot up to the sky with her jets, by the time she’d reached the top of the buildings, three more of those drones had flown in. So with four of the Battering Ram Drones to deal with, Rarity had to use all of her suits power.
The four drones began to power up their shields, one of them charged; but Rarity saw this coming and moved out of the way. The drone only a had a shield on its front, meaning Iron Heart could fire a repulser blast at the thrusters; once the blast hit the back of the drone, the power core over loaded and the drone exploded.
When that drone went down, the other three began chasing Rarity through the sky; she flew as fast as she could, to get away from them. As she flew, Coco explained to her, “Although I don’t applaud mister Capper’s tactics; now might be the time to try out his new smart missiles.”
Iron Heart agreed with her idea, she quickly turned around and pointed her fist at one of the drones; the smart missiles activated and fired. The five rockets all hit the same drone, causing it explode; while the other two flew through the smoke, one of them managed to hit Rarity away.
As the hero spun through the air, she caught herself before it was too late; she then turned to the drones and saw something new. The two machines opened up three compartments on themselves, equipping laser turrets.
Coco stated, “It seems our mystery friend has made some upgrades.”
“No kidding, darling.” Rarity replied.
The drones fired their blasters, Iron Heart dodged the blast; this time, instead of flying away, she flew right towards them. Channelling the power in her suit, her fists began to glow with energy; once Rarity got close enough, she punched both the drones with powerful hits.
She watched as both the drones were thrown away into the night, before they exploded out of existence.
With that out of the way, Iron Heart flew to the balcony entrance to the building; using her repulsers, Rarity was able to cut the door off. Once the entrance was made, she walked inside; but what she was going to find, wasn’t what she’d expect.
Iron Heart wandered into Fancy Pants’ office, she figured that would be the best place to find the plans; Capper had told her that his computer connected to every server in the entire building. However, when she walked in, the room was pitch-black; it was almost like something out of a horror movie.
“Coco, run a scan” Rarity requested.
The armour then shined light from the eye-lenses; now Rarity could see, and the suit was scanning the area. “Aside from you, Miss Rarity; I am picking up one other life signal. You’re not alone in there.”
Rarity knew this person wasn’t going to show themselves, so she decided to look around the room; starting with the monitors on the desks. She walked over to the computers, when she clicked the mouse, it came online; the computer required a password to get in.
The hero asked, “Coco, do you have Fancy Pants’ passwords?”
“Yep, I’m sending them to you n…”
Suddenly, the computers all shut down in an instant; all was quiet.
One of the computers then turned back on, the one in the middle of the set; on the screen, were written some words. Rarity read the words out loud, “Justice 4 the dead.” After she read that, the monitor turned off again.
Iron Heart decided to go back to looking around the room; where she found some interesting things.
On a book shelf on the wall, there was a small picture of Fancy Pants; Rarity picked up the picture and had a look, she was thinking about how he was doing in the hospital. Suddenly, the glass in the frame started cracking; Rarity put the picture, but the glass kept breaking.
Leaving that alone, Iron Heart walked over to the corner of the room, where Fancy Pants had set up a weight lifting set; Rarity thought it was nice that he liked to stay in shape. But then, the unthinkable happened; one of the weights was pulled off the handle, it hovered in the air, before being thrown at Rarity’s head.
Her helmet protected her from the hit, but it still kind of hurt, “Ow, how dare you! Whoever you are.”
Rarity let that slide and kept looking; the last thing to be found was a cell phone on the coffee table by the window. When Iron Heart walked over to it, the phone started ringing; curious to know what’s going on, Rarity answered it.
The hero then hanged up the phone before stating, “Wrong number, darling.”
A noise was then heard from behind the desk, the large monitor on the back was covered in static; Iron Heart walked over to investigate.
“Is anyone in there.” She then thought about what she’d just asked. Rarity then said to herself, “Come on, girl; be serious, surely no one could be in the mo….”
Before she could finish, a figure that was glowing bright green, jumped out of the screen and picked up the hero by her neck; the glowing person then threw Rarity over the desk and into the centre of the room.
When Rarity recovered from the throw, she stood back up; only to be greeted by something new. The hero was surrounded by holographic video screens, each of them was playing a news report about Fancy Pants, or his weapons, or the destruction they’ve caused.
“Hundreds are now homeless due to a large explosion here in Saddle Arabia.”
“Yeah, my car blew up with all my life savings in it; the guy who did it claimed he bought one of those Fancy Pants explosives.”
“This leaves us all wondering; will Fancy Pants ever face the music for his actions?”
The holograms then disappeared, the glowing figure returned and appeared in front of Rarity; the hero was able to get a good look at this one.
She asked, “So darling, do you have a name; or should I just call you ‘Ghost’?”
The ‘Ghost’ replied, “I’m the one that’s going to see that all those people Fancy Pants has killed, get the justice they deserve.” Without warning, Rarity was then surrounded by multiple Ghost’s. “And believe me, the dead can be very restless.”
All the Ghosts then joined together again; before Rarity could react, Ghost delivered a powerful uppercut, knocking her to the ground. While Iron Heart was knocked to the ground, Ghost stated, “If you want to attempt to stop me, meet me outside.” Ghost then disappeared out of site.
All Rarity could say was, “That’s why Adam has his spider-sense.”
The hero flew out into the streets again, this time, there was more than just flying Battering Ram Drones; the sky was filled with Mark 4 Combat Drones. And flying in the middle of them was their leader, Ghost.
When Rarity flew towards her, she was stopped in her tracks; the Ghost was using her ‘power’ to wrap Iron Heart in glowing metal chains. The villain flew closer to her and stated, “If you were truly a hero, you’d be helping me expose Fancy Pants for the criminal he is.”
“Darling, you’re not well; let me help you.” Iron Heart explained.
Ghost replied, “What, by throwing me in jail; making me spend the rest of the good years of my life, behind the bars of a prison cell. No thank you.” Ghost made the chains disappear, allowing Rarity to break free; the villain then said, “Let’s just fight!”
The battle began with Ghost ordering her drones to attack; the flying machines charged forward towards the super-hero. Rarity flew out of the way and fired her smart missiles at the drones; one by one, they were destroyed by the rockets.
Once the drones were dealt with, Iron Heart charged up her fists and flew towards Ghost; catching the villain off guard, Rarity hit her with three powerful rocket punches. Ghost was thrown across the sky; but now Rarity had made her angry, so she activated even more drones.
A Mark 6 Combat Drone flew onto the scene, followed by two Battering Ram Drones; the three of them charged for the hero, but they weren’t much of a challenge for Iron Heart. Rarity charged her fists again and punched the Mark 6 Drone away; the other two began chasing her around the air.
But when the combat drone recovered, it charged up its laser blast; the drone aimed the blast right for Rarity, but this was part of her plan. The hero moved out of the way at the very last minute, causing the combat drone to blast the battering ram drones; the two of them exploded into nothing, allowing Rarity to freely fire a repulser at the last one.
Now that the drones had been destroyed, Rarity could turn her attention back to Ghost; who had disappeared from the scene, until something unexpected happened. Out of nowhere, a holographic spear was thrown at the hero; but it pierced her armour and hurt like a real spear. Once it hit her, it disappeared; Iron Heart saw the Ghost standing on the roof a building, she flew over to meet with her.
When Iron Heart landed, Ghost ran towards her and began to glowing green again; before Rarity could attack, the Ghost ran right through her, like an actual ghost. She then conjured one of her holo-spears again, and threw it at a fuse box.
The box began sparking, and noises could be heard from inside the building below them.
Coco suddenly came onto the line, “Miss Rarity, that fuse box was what was powering the elevator systems. We must get that back online before the lift shuts down completely and drops with people inside.” Coco ran a scan of the elevator, she counted at least five people in that lift.
“I’ll take care of it.” Rarity replied.
She grabbed the panel of the fuse box and tore it away, she grabbed two of the wires and pushed them together; like magic the elevator came back online and was moving safely.
“Miss Rarity, that was incredible; how did you know to do that?”
Rarity replied, “I just did what I do when my hair dryer stops working.” She chuckled at her own joke before flying over to the office building from before.
Ghost was waiting for her on the balcony, she didn’t look like she was going to run; she was just standing there. Iron Heart landed in front of them and aimed her repulsers at her, Rarity was prepared to give no warnings.
Suddenly, out of nowhere; a blast from somewhere else hit Rarity and threw her to the wall. “What was that?!” the fashion girl demanded to know. There was a flash of purple in the sky, the new figure floated down to greet the hero and the villain.
“I believe you two have already met.” Ghost explained. “Allow me to reintroduce….”
Ghost was cut off when the new guy wanted to announce himself; he cried out, “THE LIVING LASER!!!”
For me, the worst day would wearing the same outfit twice in one week, or maybe losing one of my favourite earrings. But now, this day just topped them all.
Nothing could be worse that the return of him….
“Blue Blood?” Rarity questioned.
The glowing villain hovering next to Ghost heard her and sighed in anger, “My name is not Blue Blood anymore, my name is Living Laser.”
Ghost then commented, “Sure, like that’s any better.”
“What was that?” the ‘Laser asked.
Iron Heart was beyond confused, the last time she saw this guy face to face was when he crashed Adam and Fluttershy’s wedding; and he was supposed to be on a one way trip to Rykers prison. The hero asked, “How are you here; you’re supposed to be in jail?”
The Ghost stepped forward and explained, “Did you not see the news from Canterlot City; two days ago, a prison convoy was halted in the streets and some inmates escaped. Living Laser was one of them; and his escape was all part of my plan.”
After Ghost said that, the villains flashed back to the day the convoy was transporting prisoners to Rykers; the break out wasn’t an accident.
Ghost was standing on the roof of a building, she watched the street below her; she could see three convoys full of prisoners, and in the sky was a helicopter, carrying a large prison container. In the villains hand, she held a sniper; her plan was to take out the pilots and cause the chopper to crash; but before she could, she saw something else.
Jumping onto the side of the large container, Ghost saw Spider-Girl shoot some web at one of the cables holding the container.
But once she did that, the container started shaking like crazy, right up until the helicopter crashed on its own. Ghost waited a few minutes, but it didn’t take long for Living Laser escape and meet with his partner on the roof.
“And that’s how we came to work together.” Ghost finished explaining. She and Living Laser were staring at Iron Heart, she was still confused about one thing though.
The hero said, “That still doesn’t explain how you two know each other.”
Living Laser took the lead on the explanation this time, “Ghost tells me she’s been planning this scheme for years, and when she saw my incredible powers on the news, she just had to recruit me. She visited me in the jail, and told about her plan; I was more than happy to comply, provided I got something in return.”
“And what’s that, Blue Blood?” Rarity asked.
Suddenly, a squad of drones flew above their heads; they weren’t glowing their usual shade of green, but instead, purple.
Blue Blood replied, “I get my own army of combat drones to play with.”
The villain then ordered the drones to attack, Rarity had no time to dodge the blasts; the drones released a powerful shot that knocked her away to the edge of the roof. With their work done here, Living Laser and Ghost both began hovering in the air and flying away.
When Rarity came to, she got on the comms to Coco and Capper; she said, “Guys, I think I might need a pick up.”
By the dawn of the next morning, Rarity woke up in her room, to the sound of machines tinkering with her armour. She got up and saw two orb-like drones flying around her suit and fixing all the damage that was done to it.
As the fashion girl got out of bed, she looked around to see if she was alone; right up until Capper appeared beside her.
“Good morning, Capper.” She greeted the cat with.
The AI replied, “Good morning, my dear; I hope you slept well after last night’s… activities.”
Rarity nodded to his statement, she went into her bathroom to get dressed, and when she came out, the drones had finished fixing the suit.
Coco then appeared in the room, holding her virtual tablet; she looked at the two fixer-drones and stated, “I thought I shut those things down.”
“I reactivated them, for work on the suit.” Capper replied.
Once that little talk was done, Rarity walked over to Capper and explained, “Do we have our next move?” Capper nodded and pulled up a virtual map of Las Pegasus, this showed them the entire city.
Capper began the briefing, “Okay, so we know where they got the designs for the drones; we also know that Ghost has a partner in all this.”
“Blue Blood.” Rarity stated.
Coco then pulled a file on Blue Blood’s criminal record, “Name: Blue Blood; AKA the Living Laser, rubbish name. In prison for…. destruction of private and public property, attempted murder and taking a hostage; oh, and he also has several unpaid parking tickets.”
“Okay, we get it Coco, he’s a bad guy.” Capper cut in. “The point is, we know how they’re building the drones; but what we don’t know is how. Luckily, I do.”
Both Rarity and Coco Pommel turned to the cat and said, “What?”
They let him explain, “When I designed those combat drones, I asked that we use really powerful metal; and here in Las Pegasus, there’s only one place that manufactures that metal. An old Roxxon mining company just outside the city.” He then showed them what he meant on the holo-map.
“Well then, darlings; that is where I go next.” Rarity stated.
Just before she could suit up, there was a knock at the door; Rarity knew it had to be one of the CMC’s, so she answered the door, without letting them in. The fashion girl opened her bedroom door and was greeted by her little sister Sweetie Bell; the girl wanted to ask her sister something.
Sweetie Bell started with, “Morning, Rarity; I was wondering if you’d like to help me and the girl rehearse our song this morning? I mean Fancy Pants’ music house opens in two days.”
Rarity loved Sweetie Bell, she really did; but Capper had just given her a big lead. As much as it broke her heart, she had to tell her sister that she couldn’t.
“I’m sorry, Sweetie Bell; but I’m afraid I have something I need to take care of.” The fashion girl explained.
“Oh, okay, nevermind.” Sweetie Bell started to walk away, but before she could leave, her big sister stopped her. Rarity took her sister by the hand and explained an idea that she’d just had.
“How about, tonight; you meet me outside Fancy’s new music house, and we’ll rehearse as long as you want. And I’ll be there for all of it.”
Sweetie Bell liked the sound of that idea, “Okay Rarity.” they both then hugged to seal the deal. “You’re the bested big sister ever.” The pink and white haired girl then ran off to tell her friends; Rarity then walked back into her room.
Now that she was alone with the AI’s again, they started to hatch their plan; Rarity explained the objective, “I’m going to the canyon to see if I can find and stop Ghost and Living Laser.”
Capper then remembered something he forgot about, “Oh, and before you go; I added something new to the armour, the Shock Blast.” The armour’s arm then lifted up slightly, a compartment opened on the arm and reveal a small blaster built into the suit. “Every blast will destroy a drone in an instant.”
“Amazing.” Rarity replied. However, Coco was a little worried.
After the suit was ready, Rarity began to suit up; the armour locked around her. Rarity moved onto the balcony and took off into the air, heading directly for outside the city.
Later that day, Rarity was flying through the canyons; at the other end of this gorge was the mine that Rarity was looking for. Capper and Coco were uploaded into the suit, they could see everything Iron Heart was seeing.
“Okay Miss Rarity, you should be coming up on the mine now.” Coco explained. “But be careful not to fly to high, the dust stop above us is blocking my long range censors.”
Capper then cut in, “And if we’re lucky, we’ll catch those two criminals a deliver them to justice.”
But Rarity replied to both of them, “Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, darlings; we have to find them first.”
Once that was said, Rarity arrived at the mine; the area was covered with old machines, used for getting the metal out of the mine. Iron Heart could see the mine door was open, and the tools were all scattered around the area; someone had been here recently.
Suddenly, before the hero could do anything else; something trapped her where she stood.
Rarity was surrounded by glowing green energy chains; the hero looking up, and hovering in the air was the Ghost.
“Iron Heart! How did you know we were here?!” the Ghost demanded to know.
But the hero replied, “Let’s just say I’m good at what I do and I have good Intel.”
There was then a flash of purple, Living Laser appeared next to Ghost; he then said, “What is she doing here?”
Ghost replied, “It doesn’t matter, get back to work.”
“That’s right Blue Blood, go back to doing what your boss tells you to do.” Rarity said as an insult.
Living Laser didn’t like the comment, he shouted, “One, my name is Living Laser! And two, the working I’m doing here is for myself, no one else.” The villain then disappeared with a flash and then reappeared across the area; he used his power to make a box of some kind float up into the air.
Iron Heart muttered, “Stealing metal; it’s a bit poor for a villain of your standards.”
Rarity then noticed something through the visor of her armour, Capper was hacking Ghost’s energy, causing the chains to weaken. Rarity could see Ghost was struggling, the villain cried, “Hurry up, Blue Blood; I can’t hold her much longer.”
The chains then broke awake like glass, Ghost disappeared; Rarity looked up at Living Laser.
Capper then explained, “Blue Blood is levitating the container full of the metal; if he takes them up into the storm, we won’t be able to track him.” The hero knew what she could do; it would save the metal and she would enjoy it in the process.
Iron Heart shot up into the air and flew across the sky, she then charged her rocket fist; with one powerful punch, Rarity knocked Blue Blood away, making him drop the container. Rarity now had to stop the villain from trying that again; and the open mine gave her an idea.
Using the suits strength, Rarity was able to lift the container up and carry it over to the mine; once it was inside, she flew over and grabbed the large door. Using the thrusters on her boots, she was able to pull the doors closed; once they were shut, Rarity used her repulsers to weld the doors together.
“There, the metal is safe; now we can get the bad guys.” Iron Heart explained.
Capper replied, “Right you are, Rarity.”
The hero then began flying down another canyon, she noticed Living Laser fly down it, and it seemed like the only place Ghost could have gone.
And the hero was right, while flying down the gorge, she saw Ghost speeding away. The villain noticed Rarity coming after her and shouted, “Ughh! Blue Blood, you were supposed to handle her!” The chase was on, Ghost needed to get away, but Iron Heart wasn’t going to let her; so she flew after her.
But the chase ended when the two of them reached a dam; Rarity was just about to catch her, until the villain flew into the wall and disappeared.
“Give it Up Ghost!” Rarity said. “If you give up, I’ll make sure your cell in Rykers has a window with a view."
Suddenly, Rarity was wrapped in the energy chains again; Ghost appeared in front of her again and said, “Oh please; I rather die and take you with me, then let myself be captured.” With that said, Rarity broke free from the chains again; and the two of them started their epic battle.
Ghost started the fight by blasting Rarity with an energy blast made up of the energy chains, Iron Heart made the mistake of trying to blast it, but the blasts did nothing. The chains caught her in an energy cage; this allowed Ghost to slash at her with the claws she saw built onto the villain’s gloves.
When the cage went away, Rarity was able to fly away; only to find that Ghost had disappeared. But out of nowhere, an energy spear was thrown at her. Like before, it did nothing to her armour or body physically, but the pain she felt from it was real. More and more spears came out of nowhere; Rarity was able to avoid someone them, she was also able to see where they were coming from.
The armours scanners could see small particles coming from Ghost’s tech, this gave Iron Heart the perfect opportunity to practice using the Shock Blast. The hero aimed the weapon at Ghost and fired; the blast made her visible again and temporally stunned her.
Once she saw the opening, Rarity charged her rocket punch and flew towards Ghost. The hero delivered three powerful punches before Ghost came out of it and disappeared again.
The villain pulled the same trick again, throwing energy spears at Rarity; but this time, Rarity knew how to find her. Iron Heart looked around, saw where the spears were coming from and fired the Shock Blast.
The blast stunned Ghost again, this time when Rarity charged towards her, she grabbed her by the arm and threw her across the sky. The villain landed on top of the dam, Rarity flew up to meet her; she wanted to end this, now.
When the hero reached the dam, she saw Ghost lying on the ground; but what really caught her eye, was Ghost’s mask lying beside her. Iron Heart picked up the mask, she then looked down at the villain and stated, “It’s over Ghost.”
Ghost rose to her feet, she turned her head to Rarity, giving the hero a good look at her face; when Rarity saw the face, she muttered, “Wallflower Blush?”
It was her; the same girl that used a magical equestrian artefact to erase the memories of the Rainbooms that one time. But what Rarity could piece together was why she was here, or why she was the Ghost.
“You know me?” Wallflower asked.
Rarity needed to think of a quick response; but her thoughts were cut off when she was blasted by a powerful purple energy bolt. Living Laser hovered above the dam, he looked down at his partner and shouted, “What are you waiting for, let’s go.” With another flash of purple, he disappeared as quickly as her appeared.
Wallflower picked up her mask and put it back on, she then started glowing green before flying away.
Meanwhile, Rarity was on the ground, unconscious; on the comms, Capper was trying to get through. “Rarity, come in. Oh Rarity, come in.”
So Wallflower was the Ghost, I didn’t see that coming.
But now I had another question to answer, why was she doing this, and how is she doing this.
Rarity was still lying on the ground, the blast from Living Laser drained all the power from her suit and knocked her unconscious; so she was just lying there, no power, no solution, and no way of contacting her friends.
But suddenly, there was a flash of red; Capper appeared by the side of Iron Heart. He saw the state she was in, and wanted to help; so he stood up straight and whistled. Flying down from the sky, two fixer-drones came down and used their mechanical arms to lift up the suit.
Capper ordered, “Get her back to the penthouse, quickly.” The drones understood their orders, they were about to comply when Capper stopped them again. He walked up to Rarity and placed his hand on her face, “I won’t let anything happen to you.”
The AI disappeared into red pixels, the drone then did as instructed and flew Rarity back to the penthouse.
When Rarity came out of it, she found herself lying on her bed again; her suit was stood up beside her bed, and Capper was sitting on the end of the bed. When he saw her wake up, he placed his hand on hers; not caring that he was just a hologram.
He asked, “Are you alright, Rarity?”
The fashion girl tried to sit up, she replied, “Yeah, my head just hurts a bit.”
“Blue Blood hit you with a powerful blast of energy; if you weren’t wearing that suit, the blast might have killed.”
Rarity got up, she walked over to her armour; she looked into the eyes of the suit. She only had one thing on her mind, ‘Wallflower? Why?’ But her thoughts were interrupted when she felt something in her stomach, she hadn’t eaten in a while.
She turned to Capper and asked, “Can you keep an eye on the suit? I’m just going to get some breakfast.”
The AI nodded his head, complying with request.
Once that was agreed upon, Rarity left her bedroom; when she walked into the kitchen, she saw the CMC’s sitting around the table eating cereal. Rarity walked over to greet the three girls; however, the expressions on their faces weren’t as cheerful as they should be.
“Morning girls.” Rarity greeted.
Applebloom and Scootaloo said good morning back, but Sweetie Bell stayed quiet; Rarity walked over to her sister to see what the matter was.
The fashion girl asked, “Are you okay, Sweetie Bell?”
Suddenly, the girl turned to her sister and began giving out to her, “How could you?! I thought you cared, but all you seem to care about is yourself!” she then ran away before Rarity could get another word in.
It took a moment to piece it together, that’s when Rarity remembered what she’d promised Sweetie Bell yesterday. “The music house, the rehearsals; I completely forgot.” With all that happened yesterday, with Ghost and Living Laser; the stuff with Sweetie Bell had slipped her mind.
Rarity let the other girls finish their breakfast, but she ran after her sister; she had to make this right.
So the fashion girl followed the sound of crying into the room where Sweetie Bell was staying, Rarity found her sister crying into her pillow; she approached her carefully.
“Are you alright, darling.” Rarity asked.
Sweetie Bell got up and turned to her sister, “I’m sobbing into my pillow, while thinking about how you lied right to my face; so no, I’m not okay.” She went back to crying.
Rarity began explaining why this was happening, but without giving away her secret identity, “Sweetie Bell, I may not always be around, I might be busy sometimes; but your still my little sister, and I love you. I’ve just had this thing going on, this important thing; and if I don’t do it, things could happen. I just want you to know that I’m sorry, and that would love to hear you sing with your friends.”
After another few seconds, Sweetie Bell stopped crying; she sat up and sat next her sister. Before either of them could say anything else, the pink and white haired girl started singing…
‘It's tearing me apart, not listening to my heart.’
Rarity stood up and slightly moved away from the bed.
‘I really had to go.’
Sweetie Bell stood up as well and took over.
‘And I would never stop you.’
The two of them ended up singing together.
‘Even though it changed;
Nothing has to change.’
They both smile and continued singing, they were making amends.
‘And you can find me in the space between.’
‘Where two worlds come to meet;
I'll never be out of reach.’
‘'Cause you're a part of me so you can find me in the space between.’
‘You'll never be alone,
No matter where you go;
We can meet in the space between.’
Rarity led her sister out into the hallway, where she took the next verse.
‘There are no words left to say.’
Sweetie Bell then sang.
‘I know you gotta find your place.’
Then Rarity.
‘But this is not the end.’
And the Sweetie Bell.
‘No, you're part of who I am.’
Finally, they sang together.
‘Even if we're worlds apart;
You're still in my heart it will always be you and me.’
‘Yeah!’
The two sister reached the top of the stairs and began singing their hearts out, Applebloom and Scootaloo could hear them from downstairs.
‘You can find me in the space between.’
‘Where two worlds come to meet;
I'll never be out of reach.’

‘No, 'Cause you're a part of me so you can find me in the space between.’
‘You'll never be alone,
No matter where you go;
We can meet in the space between.’
Rarity cheered, ‘Yeah.’
The two sisters hugged each other.
‘No matter where you go.’
‘No matter where you go.’
‘We can meet in the space between.’
The two of them hugged properly, Applebloom and Scootaloo walked to the bottom of the stairs and watched the two sisters hug; they then applauded the song they just did.
Scootaloo stepped forward, “I take this means you two made up.”
“Yeah, I just needed to be reminded that I have the best big sister ever.” Sweetie Bell replied.
Rarity chuckled before saying, “And I needed to be reminded that I have the best little sister.”
That’s when Rarity decided something, she said to the CMC’s, “You know what girls, grab your instruments; we’re going to go down to the music house and you girls can perform all day.” The three girls cheered, Rarity then shouted to Capper, “I’m just going out with my sister and her friends; we’ll continue when I get back.”
“Got it.” The AI replied.
All the girls then left the penthouse; they did what Rarity said, they spent the whole day at the music house.
Later that evening, when they all got home, everybody was too tired to stay up any longer.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders went up to their room, they waved goodnight to Rarity before heading up. Rarity was about to walk to her room, but she was feeling way too tired; so she decided to sit on the couch for a second.
“I’ll think I’ll skip dinner tonight.” She muttered before eventually dropping off to sleep.
However, the night didn’t bring much sleep; for the dead, they don’t sleep.
A sudden smash-noise woke Rarity up from her sleep; she looked around the room, the night made it pitch black. Not knowing what was going on, she called out to the AI’s for assistance, “Coco? Capper?” but neither of them responded.
Something felt incredibly off about all this, Rarity believed the safest bet would be to get to her suit.
Rarity walked through the living room to her bedroom where her suit was kept; on the way, she noticed something on the coffee table. The glass case that Fancy Pants’ revolver was kept in; the scary part was, the glass had been smashed and the gun was gone, so were all the bullets.
“Well, I guess I know what that smash noise was.” She muttered under her breath.
The hero quietly opened her bedroom door, she saw her suit across the floor; as she carefully approached it, she was stopped by something in her path.
Out of nowhere, Ghost appeared in front of Rarity; holding the revolver and pointing it at Rarity. The villain stated, “You should’ve woken up.”
Rarity replied, “So you could kill me in my sleep; no thank you.”
“I came her looking for the location of Fancy Pants; imagine my surprise when I find this, and you.” Ghost gestured to the armour, she had learned the truth. “If I’d have known you’d be such a thorn in my side, I’d have done more than just erase your memory all those years ago.”
The fashion girl replied, “Yeah, I’m still a little annoyed about that as well.”
Suddenly, without Ghost noticing; Coco and Capper appeared behind her, next to the armour. Without talking, the were arguing about what they could do to help; right up until Capper just got bored and pushed Coco into the suit, this allowed her to take control of it.
Ghost then held up the gun, “Nice antique, don’t you think?”
“Oh I agree, darling; but I like it better when it’s not pointed at me.” Rarity replied.
“I was going to save this for Fancy Pants; I always said his old weapons would be the death of him.”
Rarity moved forward and said, “He didn’t make that one.”
Coco then announced her presence, “But he did make me.” Ghost turned to the moving armour, she began shooting the gun at it, but the old bullets were bouncing off it. The suit then aimed its repulser and fired and beam of energy at Ghost, blasting her across the room.
Before Coco could attack again, Ghost was able to disappear.
“How did she get in here?” Rarity demanded to know.
Capper pulled Coco out of the suit and replied, “I don’t know.”
Before anyone could do anything else, a scream was heard from upstairs; Rarity completely forgot her suit and ran out of her room and up the stairs to see what was going on. When she reached her sister’s room, Ghost was already there; the CMC’s weren’t in the room, Rarity looked out the window and saw the three of them hanging in the air.
Living Laser was here to, he was holding the three girls in a purple electro-net; before Rarity could help them, Blue Blood flew away with the girls, they screamed before they were out of eyesight.
Ghost turned to Rarity and ordered, “If you want to see your sister and her friends alive again, you will stay out of my way and let me do what I have to do.” Ghost started to glow green before she flew out of the wall and flew away.
Rarity could not believe what had just happened, her sister… gone.
I was ready to throw in the towel, she’d beaten me. It was times like this I could have really used my friends help.
Rarity sat on the couch of the penthouse, two hours ago, two super-villains had broken in and kidnapped her little sister. The fashion girl’s eyes were filled with tears; the one person she was supposed to look after was now in the hands of two lunatics.
In the other room, Capper and Coco were staring at holo-map, trying to find any trace of Ghost, Living Laser or the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Coco turned to the cat and said, “Come on, you’re the one whose come up with all the locations; surely you’d know where to find them.”
Capper replied, “Ghost has to have based herself somewhere she can build the drones; but all the factories and warehouse have been decommissioned and turned into something else. I’ve got nothing."
Before the two AIs could continue working, Coco looked out the door and saw Rarity on the verge of crying again; she was about to walk out and talk to her, but Capper stopped her. He gestured that he’d go talk to her; so he left Coco to work and walked out the living room.
The cat sat down next to Rarity, he couldn’t comfort her physically, but he tried to talk to her. “I’m sorry Rarity; if I’d been a bigger help, maybe we would have stopped Ghost before this happened.”
Suddenly, out of instinct, Rarity went to hug Capper; but her arms passed right through him. “Oh, sorry.”
“It’s okay. Are you okay?”
Rarity replied, “I’m just so worried about her; she’s out there with those two. And Ghost knows who I am, she could go after everyone I care about.”
Capper then said, “I promise, we are not going to let them hurt you or your family or friends.”
“Thank you, Capper; for everything.” Rarity said back.
But he responded with, “It’s nothing; I’m just a computer system, doing what I’ve been programmed to do.”
Not liking what he just said about himself, Rarity said to Capper, “No, darling; Fancy Pants may have built you to be helpful and build his weapons, but you’re special. Everything you’ve done to help me, that all came from you; not just some programming.”
Capper replied, “Thank you; it was nice to hear you say that. Because if I’m being honest; the time we’ve worked together….” He was hesitant to continue, “I’ve actually grown quite fond of you.”
Rarity was surprised to hear him say that, she smiled at him, and he smiled back. The fashion girl said, “Well, you’re rather dashing yourself, Capper.”
The two of them continued smiling at each other, they both began leaning towards each other; just before their lips touched, Coco walked into the room and interrupted them.
“Rarity, Capper; I’ve got something.” The two on the couch moved away from each other and stood up. The female AI asked, “Did I interrupt you?”
“No.” Capper stated.
“Not at all, darling.” Rarity replied.
The two followed Coco back into Rarity’s room, she pulled up the holo-map of the city and explained what she had found. “When Rarity was able to pick up Ghost’s mask on the dam, I was able to run a quick scan on the piece of tech; now I am able to track its unique energy trail. And I tracked it all the way to a cave beyond the mining company in the canyon.”
Rarity asked, “Out of all the places she could go; why build her base in a cave.”
“Because it’s not just any cave; in that very cave, a group of people were taken there and forced to build machines. These machines would counter Fancy Pants’ drone inventions.” Coco explained.
Capper then said, “I remember; the group was run by a married couple. What were their names….” He thought for a sec, “Sunflower Blush and Wildflower Blush. They believed that Fancy Pants building weapons was wrong, and they took it way to far trying to stop him.”
“Wait, ‘Blush’? Their last name was ‘Blush’?” Rarity asked.
Coco ran a quick search, she then found something, “They were the mother and father of Wallflower Blush.” Coco then searched again, “Until one day, while they were testing one of their inventions; something went wrong and it set off an explosion. They both didn’t make it.”
Rarity replied, “Ghost said she wanted justice and revenge; she blames Fancy Pants for the death of her parents, that’s what this is all about.” Rarity then turned to her suit, “Time to be a hero.” She stated.
The fashion girl was loaded into her armour; once she was suited up, she walked over to the balcony; after activating her thrusters, she shot up into the sky and flew out of the city again. This time, she was determined to end this, once and for all.
Iron Heart entered the cave, the lights from her eye provided some illumination, but not enough; the entire cave was deserted, the ground was covered in old machine part and dried up oil stains. The hero moved through the passenger ways and cave tunnels, after all the walking she did, she found nothing.
However, the search came to an end when one of the tunnels led her to a large cave area; but this cave had been modified, turned into some kind of underground bunker. Rarity spoke into the comm, “This must have been where the Blush’s stayed and lived.”
She was right, there were army beds to the side and work benches in the middle; Rarity heard Coco say, “But my report says that at least thirty people were working there; why are there only two beds here.” Rarity looked over and noticed she was right.
“These tunnels go on for miles, I’m sure there are other rooms here.” Capper said, joining the conversation.
Rarity decided to look around the room; however, the thing in the corner really caught her eye. It was a suit of armour, a suit of weaponised armour; the hero asked, “What is that?”
The AI explained, “It was Fancy Pants’ first weapon invention; a suit of armour as powerful as a fighter-jet. But after about a month after its construction, the company believe that people were still at risk; so they scrapped the only prototype and designed the Combat Drones instead.”
Iron Heart said, “I can’t believe I never knew about this.”
“How do you think your friend made your suit; some of the parts in your armour are the same as the Man-Droid. Your friend must have ordered some of the parts from our company before we stopped building weapons.” Coco said.
“And you didn’t think to ask what she wanted the parts for?” Rarity asked while laughing a little.
The cat AI replied, “Oh yeah, that would have been a good idea.”
After admiring the suit, she turned away from it and saw something else; this was truly a clue to the villains’ location. Placed on one of the work tables, was Ghost’s mask; Rarity walked over to get it; she picked up the mask and had a good look at it.
The hero spoke to the AIs on the comms and said, “Guys, I’ve found something.” Before her friends could respond, someone grabbed Rarity’s shoulder and spun her around. Rarity was now face to face with Ghost herself, the villain snatched the mask out of Iron Heart’s hand and put it on.
“You shouldn’t take what’s not yours.” Ghost stated.
Rarity held out her hand, ready to fire a repulser and said, “You’re one to talk.”
Before Rarity could fire, Ghost went into phase mode and stuck her hand into Rarity’s chest; the hero was struck by the sudden pain in her chest.
Ghost muttered, “Go ahead, blast me away. But if you do, I’ll rip out the heart I have a good grip around.”
“You’re bluffing; if you go solid, my armour cuts your hand off.” Iron Heart responded with.
The villain had an idea, “Then how about a trade; you put your hand down, and I’ll stop crushing your vital organ.” Rarity put her hand down and Ghost took her hand out of Rarity.
Once Ghost moved away from the hero, Rarity was able to reactivate her repulsers; in an angry tone, Iron Heart shouted, “Where’s my sister?!”
“Safe, for now.”
Ghost then pulled something off her belt, a grenade; she threw it at the cave entrance. Once it hit the rock, it triggered a small explosion; the cave began to collapse, blocking the entrance.
Rarity said to the villain, “Well done, now we’re both trapped.”
“Are you sure about that?” Ghost replied. She then activated her phase mode and ran through the wall; the hero tried to blast her but she got away before the shot could hit her.
When Rarity was left alone in the cave, Coco contacted her and quickly explained, “Uh, Rarity; I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but now that cave has been sealed, it’s only a matter of time before the oxygen runs out.”
Iron Heart replied, “Then I better get out of here, darling.” Rarity moved towards the rock wall; once there, she charged up her rocket punch. With one powerful blow, Iron Heart punched through the rocks and blasted her way to freedom.
No way was she going to let Ghost get away, so she activated her thrusters and flew back down the cave; hoping to find the villain she was after.
After several minutes of flying, she reached a door; a big metal one that looked like it had been sealed up. But that wasn’t going to stop her, nothing would stop her getting her sister back; she activated her repulser and cut through the locks on the door. Once she was through, Rarity grabbed the two door pieces and pulled them out of the way.
But then suddenly, without warning; Iron Heart was trapped in an energy cage. Ghost appeared in front of her, the villain stated, “You are just full of surprises, aren’t you, Rarity.”
“You’ll find I have plenty to give.” The fashion girl replied.
Without Ghost hearing, Capper contacted Rarity and explained something she’d want to know, “Hey Rarity, I added something new to the armour; something to get rid of these energy cages. An EMP blast. Simply close your fists, charge up your repulsers and then open your hands to release it.”
The iron hero did exactly that, she closed her fists and powered up the repulsers; and when she opened her hands again, the EMP blast shattered the cage and knocked Ghost back against the wall. The villain then phased through the wall to escape; Rarity was going to run after her, but her suit suddenly felt heavy.
“Sorry, I forgot to tell you; the EMP takes up a lot of power, you’re going to need to recharge your suit before you can take on Ghost.” Capper stated.
Luckily enough, just ahead was an exposed power cell; the cell was behind a sheet of glass, using her metal hand, Rarity punch through the glass. She then grabbed the power cell, Capper began absorbing the energy into the suit.
The suit was now fully recharged; however, whilst absorbing, the suit picked up something else as well. Capper was able to access Ghost’s private network, on the files he’d got were plans and blueprints; they were plans for a power energy generator, one that could drain power from an entire city.
“Are you seeing this, Rarity?” Capper asked.
Rarity replied, “Yeah, why would Ghost build something like this.”
Coco then replied, “I don’t think she did, the file is labelled under, ‘Don’t Tell Ghost’.”
The hero and the AIs thought nothing of it for, they still hand to find Ghost; Rarity decided that flying wouldn’t be a good idea at the moment, Ghost would hear her coming.
So Iron Heart just wandered the tunnels, right up until she walked into a large room; probably the biggest one in the entire bunker. Surrounding the room were large generators, they were filled with powerful energy; the energy signature matched the stuff Ghost uses to power her mask and drones.
Without warning, an energy spear was thrown across the room and struck Rarity’s armour; when the spear disappeared, the hero looked up and saw Ghost flying around the room. After she activated her thrusters, Iron Heart flew up after her.
Ghost cried, “This is the last time to interfere with me.”
“You’re right, because this is the last time you’re going to get away.” Rarity replied.
The villain started the fight by charging up an energy cage and blasting it towards Rarity; but the hero learnt from the past, she dodged the attack and blasted Ghost with her repulser. The blast temporally stunned Ghost, allowing Rarity to punch her with her rocket fists.
After being knocked away, Ghost flew back up again; but Coco came up with an idea.
“Rarity, those generators are conducting negative energy at the moment.”
The hero replied, “So?”
Coco explained, “And right now, Ghost’s tech is running on positive energy; if can knock her into those generators, the energy will cancel out hers. Or to put it simply, it will take away her power.”
Rarity liked the sound of that, she did exactly that.
While Ghost was still recovering from the punches, Iron Heart was able to fly up to her, grab her arm and throw her across the room; Ghost crashed into the generator, the energy began zapping her. The generator exploded and Ghost disappeared.
“Coco, where is she?” Rarity asked as her suit scanned the room.
“I’ve got her signal, she’s trapped.” Coco replied. She gave Rarity the signal, she flew up the location; Ghost was stuck in the wall. “Her phasing tech is malfunctioning; if she goes solid in the wall, she’ll die.”
Iron Heart reach out her hand and said, “Give me your hand.”
“No, I rather die.” Wallflower Blush replied.
“Yeah, well that’s not happening, darling.”
Rarity grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the wall just before it was too late; the hero then raised her fist, as if she was going to punch Ghost. The villain held up her hands in surrender, but it didn’t look like Rarity was going to show mercy.
The hero said, “This is for taking my sister.”
“Wait, no wait.” Wallflower begged. She closed her eyes, expecting to get hit really hard; but nothing came, just silence. Ghost opened her eyes again, she saw Rarity’s hand in front of her face.
Iron Heart explained, “Yeah, I’m not like you.” Rarity then reached for Wallflower’s mask, “But I will take this.” She grabbed the mask and crushed it in her hands. Wallflower watched her life’s work shatter into fragments; she looked back up at Rarity in anger.
“Do you have any idea what you’ve done? I planned this for two years.” Wallflower stated.
“Well, you’ll have plenty of time to think of new plans. In Rykers Prison.” Rarity replied. She grabbed Wallflower by the arm and called Coco on the comm, “Coco, call the police; tell them I’ll be stopping by to drop something off.”
The AI replied, “Well done, Miss Rarity; it’s over.”
Suddenly, without warning; a flash of purple appeared before the two girls. Living Laser hovered above them; Ghost actually looked happy to see him, she thought he was here to save her, but she was wrong.
“Blue Blood, hurry, get me out of here.” Wallflower Blush ordered; but this just made Blue Blood chuckle.
Living Laser replied, “Yeah, I don’t think so; you’re old news Ghost, out of the picture.” Ghost didn’t understand, what was he on about. “Let me explain; I’m double-crossing you. To be fair, I was done with you once you gave access to your drones; now all I need is a way to manufacture more.”
Iron Heart then stated, “Well good luck with that.” She said sarcastically.
“You’d think that, wouldn’t you; Ghost told me it took months for her to figure how to actually build the drones, she completely looked over the fact that Fancy Pants already had one. The AI that created them in the first place.” Blue Blood explained.
Rarity then realised what he was saying, she quickly got on the comms to Capper to warn him, “Capper; Blue Blood is coming for….” Before she could finish, Living Laser blasted her and Wallflower to the ground.
Before Blue Blood vanished in a purple flash, he muttered, “Now, to rule the world.” With a flash of purple light, he was gone.
It must have been a good two hours before Rarity awoke from her slumber; secret identity or not, she had to get her helmet off. She pushed a button on the side of the mask and pulled it off; once she could see properly, she saw the girl sitting next to her.
“So, she finally decides to wake up.” Wallflower Blush states.
Rarity replied, “You’re still here are you?” The villain simply nodded back at her; the hero then asked, “Why didn’t you run away?”
Ghost pointed at the entrance of the cave, it had been completely covered by rocks; Wallflower said, “Blue Blood obviously didn’t want us to follow him. So I guess were stuck down here; together.”
After groaning, Rarity stood up and walked to the edge of the surface they were standing on; she then asked Wallflower something, “Was all this, just to get back at Fancy Pants for what happened to your parents?”
“Yeah, that’s what this was all about; if it wasn’t for him, they wouldn’t have died.” Ghost replied.
The hero stated, “I get that Fancy Pants wasn’t perfect back then, but no one asked your parents to play hero.”
Suddenly, Wallflower started laughing; Rarity turned to her and let her explain why, “Do you not hear yourself? No one asked you and your friends to play superhero; but you do it anyway.”
“We do it because it’s the right thing to do.” Rarity replied.
“Yeah, well my parents were doing the right thing; they were willing to do the thing no one else would.”
The two of them stopped fighting and sat back down, sitting shoulder to shoulder, they just stared at the rock wall in front of them. Rarity began thinking about things; the CMCs still in danger, Blue Blood going back to the penthouse to get Capper. Wallflower Blush thought about things to; like ‘how could she let herself get tricked by a chump like Blue Blood’.
In order to get rid of the silence, Rarity asked, “Your mask; how did you make it?”
“Doesn’t really seem like it matters now that you broke it.” Wallflower replied. She then explained, “But if you must know, it was a side project my father was creating. I found it in his workplace and thought it would be the perfect way to get around undetected. So I put it together and used it to seek my revenge; a plan that has greatly backfired.”
Ghost turned to Rarity and said, “Even if we do get out of here, it’ll be too late; Blue Blood has my entire army to command.”
That’s when another thought came to Rarity; Wallflower created these drones, which meant…
“If I could get you to the controls, or find how Blue Blood was commanding them, would you be able to shut them off?” the hero asked the villain.
Wallflower thought for a sec, she then replied, “Yeah, I guess I could.” Rarity had great big smile on her face, this gave her a chance to stop Living Laser and save Sweetie Bell. But Wallflower had something else to say, “But I would like something in return.”
Rarity replied, “What?”
“When the drones have shut down, I’m getting the heck out of there. You have to let me go.” Ghost stated.
The hero couldn’t believe this, she had spent days hunting this villain down, and she finally had her in custody; and now to save her sister, she had to let her go. Rarity didn’t want to do it, but she gave Ghost the answer she wanted, “Fine, it’s a deal.”
Wallflower Blush was happy to hear it; but when she turned back to the rocks blocking the only way in, she asked, “Now, how are we going to get out of here; you destroyed the only thing that could let us walk through walls?”
At this point, nothing was going to keep Iron Heart from rescuing her little sister; she grabbed her helmet and locked it back in place on her head. The hero then grabbed Wallflower Blush by the waist; the villain was confused at first, but her thoughts went away when Rarity ignited her thrusters and started flying in the air.
The hero flew right towards the rocks; before she hit them, she said to Ghost, “Keep your head down.” Ghost did as instructed and covered her head. Iron charged her rocket fist and punched right through the rocks and the metal door.
After flying around the tunnels for a bit, the two of them found the exit and shot out of it, like a bullet coming out of a gun.
Iron Heart then flew them both back to the penthouse; tonight, this ended, for good this time.
After flying a light-speed, Iron Heart and Ghost arrived back in Las Pegasus; the streets looked fine, but what caught their eye was the penthouse building ahead of them. Some kind of machine had been fitted to the top of the tower, and the building was surrounded by drones; they were flying around and guarding the apartment.
“Put me down on that roof.” Wallflower Blush ordered. Rarity did as commanded and put her on a rooftop beneath them. “You go deal with the drones, and Blue Blood; once it’s clear I make a break for the building and find where he’s put the control panel.”
Once Ghost said that, she ran for the fire exit and climbed down the side of the building; all Rarity could mutter was, “I hope I don’t regret this.” She then flew off towards the apartment.
As Rarity got closer to the building, something appeared in front of her; with a flash of purple, Living Laser was seen before her.
Blue Blood stated, “Welcome to the party. You are courtly invited to my coronation.”
“What are you talking about?” Rarity asked.
“My coronation; the day I’m crowned king of the world.” Blue Blood then laughed like the maniac he was. He then explained, “But if you want to try and stop me, please be my guest.” He gestured her to follow him; he began flying towards the penthouse, and Rarity rocketed after him.
When they got there, Iron Heart was quickly attacked by the Mark 4 Combat Drones; six of them flew right for her. Rarity had no choice but to fly away, there were too many drones for her to fight at once; she was chased as she did laps of the building, flying round and round the structure.
But it was time to put the weapons Capper gave her to good use; while being chased, Rarity turned to the drones and fired her five Smart Missiles. The five rockets hit the drones, destroying three of them; leaving just three more.
Once she’d done that, she kept flying away; however, the drones were learning. Instead of chasing her, they went round the other way and blocked her path. Just what she wanted, when the three drones appeared in front of her, she hit them with the Shock Blast; all three of them exploded into fragments of metal.
Iron Heart flew up to the roof of the building, she landed on the balcony of the penthouse; and was surprised at what she found there. Sitting in a metal cage, were the Cutie Mark Crusaders; when they turned their heads to see the hero, they were amazed.
“Whoa, it’s one of those superheroes.” Scootaloo stated as she grabbed the bars of the cage.
Rarity ran over to her little sister and blaster the lock off with her repulser; out of nowhere, when Sweetie Bell walked out of the cage, Iron Heart wrapped her arms around her and gave her a big hug.
Sweetie Bell said, “Um, nice to meet you to.”
“Oh, we’ve met before.” Rarity said back. She then pushed a button on the side of her helmet, her face plate lifted and reveal her face to the girls. “Hi Sweetie Bell.”
“Rarity…. Is it really you?” Sweetie’ muttered. “You’re a super hero.” She was beyond amazed, she hugged her sister in the armour again.
Unfortunately, the flash of purple energy from above them broke up the moment; Rarity let go of her sister and pulled her face plate down again. She motioned the CMC’s to wait here, they listened to her and stayed put; Rarity the jumped into the air and flew up to the thing on the roof.
Mounted onto the roof of the building, was a large generator-type machine; when Rarity saw it, it look a little familiar. Then she remembered, the blueprints she found at Ghost’s hideout; they for a machine like this, Living Laser’s secret project.
Suddenly, Blue Blood appeared before Rarity, he shouted, “Behold, my greatest triumph ever. The dawn of the age of the Living Laser!”
“You really are crazy, aren’t you, Blue Blood.” Iron Heart stated, intending to mock him.
“For the love of anything, get my name right!” he shouted back before firing a blast of energy at her. Rarity dodged the blast, and the battle between them began.
The hero and the villain flew towards each other, Rarity charged her rocket fist and Blue Blood charged his energy blast; when the two of them clashed, they were blown apart. Living Laser teleport away, leaving Rarity in the sky; she waited for him to reappear.
When he did, he hovered over her; he charged a blast and released it. But Rarity moved out of the way; when the blast missed her, she charged her fists again and flew up to him. Iron Heart rocket punched him four times before he teleported away again.
Out of nowhere, two Battering Ram Drones flew into the fight; compartments opened up on the drones and they began firing purple laser bolts at the hero. She flew out of the way, and delivered a powerful rocket punch to one of them; this sent the drone flying away before exploding. As for the other one, Rarity fired her smart missiles at it; blowing it up.
Living Laser reappeared, he began firing bolts of energy at the hero; she got hit by one which knocked her back. But that didn’t stop her from flying towards him and rocket punching him away.
Rarity decided to start conversation, “Be honest, Blue Blood; that whole thing with Fluttershy, that wasn’t love, that was just your ego wasn’t it?”
“Of course not; I was being the hero; I was saving her from a life with a nerd.” The villain replied.
“Oh, Adam is twice the man you’ll ever be.” Rarity said back.
The Living Laser appeared in front of her and shouted, “Do you not know who I am?! I’m the guy who can get any girl he wants; what gave her the right to reject me.”
Iron Heart replied, “I call it ‘dignity’.”
After saying that, Blue Blood was done with this; he generated a large energy ball. He threw the blast at Rarity and attempted to destroy her for good; but she moved out of the way of the blast and delivered one back, firing her Shock Blast at him.
However, before she could celebrate her win, a bolt of energy blasted her out of the sky; Iron Heart landed on the penthouse balcony again. When Rarity tried to get back up, Living Laser landed on top of her and stabbed his hand into the heart emblem on her chest; with a simple pulled, he pulled out the shard of energon that was powering her suit.
“Lights out, superhero?” the villain muttered.
Blue Blood then flew up into the air again; if her suit had no power, she wasn’t really a threat to him.
All systems were down, Rarity could barely move; her suit was heavy on its own. She was able to lift her arms up and pulled her helmet off, but after that, she was stuck. She laid on her back looking up at the sky; she could do nothing to stop Blue Blood.
She muttered, “Oh no.”
Living Laser pushed a button on his machine, the generator shot a beam of purple energy into the air; the energy created purple lightning in the sky. The lightning was draining all the power and energy from the entire city.
It was over, Rarity couldn’t believe it; she’d lost. She looked over at her sister and her friends, they were hiding under the picnic table Fancy Pants had on the balcony; not only had Rarity let this city down, she’d also let her little sister down, again.
Suddenly, flying from inside the penthouse, a little red drone hovered beside her; the drone then projected the hologram of Capper. He looked down at his friend, he couldn’t believe this was happening; what could he do to help?
The AI said to her, “Rarity, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what I can do.”
But Rarity replied, “It’s okay, Capper; you tried, that’s more than anyone’s done.”
Capper placed his hand on the side of her cheek; to Rarity’s surprise, she could actually feel his touch. Capper leaned down to her and whispered something in her ear, something right from his core, “This always has, and always will, belong to you.”
Rarity swore she could hear music playing; but what happened next caught her off guard, Capper looked into her eye before placing his lips onto hers. The fashion girl’s eyes widened at first, but she closed then and leaned into it; once again, she could actually feel his touch.
Coco appeared next to the CMC’s, who were watching the whole thing; she noticed Capper’s body begin to turn to pixels and disappear. She couldn’t believe it, but he was giving her his power; giving his life to charge her suit.
While this was happening, it caught Blue Blood’s attention; he flew down from his machine and watched what was happening.
Scootaloo turned to her friends and said, “We should probably get down.” The other two nodded in agreement; they stayed under the table and covered their ears, they knew something big was coming.
When Capper’s body had disappeared completely, the heart emblem on Rarity’s suit began to glow again; her suit was charging up. All Blue Blood could mutter was, “Split my infinities.”
Out of nowhere, the Iron Heart suit released a giant EMP blast; the blast caused all the remaining drones flying around to explode and sent Living Laser flying up into the sky. After that, Rarity’s fully charged thrusters activated and rocketed her up into the air.
She enjoyed the moment of just drifting the sky, before she fell back down to the earth, grabbed her helmet and flew up again. She stopped and hovered in front of Blue Blood, she put her helmet back on and motioned the villain to come and get her.
Living Laser was beyond angry, she’d destroyed his drones and ruined his plan; the villain shouted, “No! I won!” he flew towards her, but she just flew over him and kicked him in the back of the head.
Turning to face him again, she stated, “You… are a snob.”
Blue Blood was complaining like a child now, “But I won!” he threw a bolt of energy at her, but she dodged it and blasted him with a repulser blast.
On the balcony, the CMC’s were watching the fight; they heard what Rarity had said to Blue Blood, Applebloom repeated, “A snob.”
The fight between the hero and the villain continued, Iron Heart began flying circles around Living Laser; they both got higher and higher until they were at the top of the tower. “And… alone.” Rarity said to him.
“Alone.” Sweetie Bell repeated.
Before he could react, Rarity kicked Blue Blood in the chest, pushing him away; he cried, “No! I won, I won, I wo….” Before he could finish, he felt a sudden pull; he looked down and saw he’d been caught in the energy current. As being made of pure energy, the generator was absorbing him.
Rarity looked at him and muttered, “Done for.” she just hovered there and watched him suffer the consequences of his actions.
Living Laser tried to act calm, he began saying, “No, don’t worry, I control the current; I’ll be fine.” But the generator began pulling him down.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders began chanting, “A snob, alone, done for!”
The villain was starting to get a little worried now, he said, “Hang on, I control this power; I’m in total control.” If only he knew how wrong he was.
“A snob, alone, done for.”
When it seemed like he wasn’t in control, Living Laser began begging for mercy, “Okay, I’ll stop being a villain forever; I’ll open an orphanage, I’ll save the rainforest, I’ll recycle.”
“A snob, alone, done for.”
Finally, there was no getting out of this; Blue at last decided to accept his fate, “I’m a snob, I’m alone, I’m…” the CMC’s finished chanting, and watched him in his final moments. “Done for.” Blue Blood crossed his arms across his chest and just let the machine take him; his body was absorbed by the generator, when that happened, it exploded. The energy from Blue Blood was too much, the machine overloaded and took Living Laser with it.
When the threat was gone, Rarity flew back down to the balcony; when she landed, her suit disassembled and she ran over to her sister. Sweetie Bell saw Rarity run to her; the pink and white haired girl opened her arms and let her big sister hug her.
“I’m so glad you’re okay.” Rarity said to her.
Sweetie Bell replied, “Thanks to you; you’re the superhero.”
Rarity looked over her shoulder, she saw Scootaloo and Applebloom watching the two sisters hug; she opened her arm and said, “Come here girls.” The two of them joined the hug, they all embraced each other and the victory they achieved.
However, the good feeling went away when Rarity saw what was on the floor; she let go of the CMC’s and walked over to the small device that had been drained of all its power. Capper’s drone, all its power had been given to Rarity Iron Heart armour; he was gone.
Tears began forming in her eyes as Rarity picked up the small drone; but that wasn’t all, walking out onto the balcony was someone else, someone not wanted here that much. Wallflower Blush walked over to Rarity, not looking as happy as she should now that they had won.
“I’m sorry about your friend.” Ghost stated.
The fashion girl looked up at Wallflower; in a disappointed tone, she said, “You can go. A deal is a deal; I won’t chase you.” Saying nothing else, Ghost just walked away; I don’t think we’ll be seeing the Ghost ever again.
Two days later
At the grand opening of Fancy Pants’ new music house, people from all over the city had come to enjoy the show. Fancy Pants had recovered from the jet attack and was now here tonight, welcoming guest into the building.
Rarity was inside, she was standing in the centre of the room and looking out into the crowd; it was time for the CMC’s to go on.
All the guests moved into the show room, the band came out onto the stage; Applebloom, being the band leader, introduced the act.
“Welcome ladies and gentlemen; our song tonight is dedicated to the superhero that saved our lives and this city.” Applebloom explained.
Scootaloo, being the drummer, tapped her sticks together and started the song.
Applebloom began pulling the strings on her guitar, Sweetie Bell mashed the keys on her keyboard, and Scootaloo began banging on her drums; the music they were making was incredible.
The farm girl began singing.
“She's a gal on a mission;
In armour of high-tech ammunition.”
Sweetie Bell then took over.
“Trapped on the edge of an endless game;
Her adult life will never be the same.”
“In a dangerous world she’s cool and smart…”
The whole band then sang.
“She's Iron Heart!”
“Iron Heart!”
Scootaloo then took over the solo.
“The heart of her power is within her;
No force will make her give in.”
The band started singing together again.
“When she's backed into a corner of uncertainty;
She takes the heat to next degree.”
“She's more than a hero, believe what you see.”
“She's Iron Heart!”
“Iron Heart!”
Applebloom took this chance to perform a guitar solo; even with just a few months of practice, she’d truly mastered the art of playing a guitar. The band began singing again.
“She's Iron Heart!”
“Iron Heart!”
“Iron Heart!”
With that, the song was finished; the crowd began cheering for the Cutie Mark Crusaders, they were amazing.
Rarity was watching the whole show, she couldn’t be more prouder of her sister; so why did she still feel sad about something?
Rarity had finished telling her story to the rest of her friends; they didn’t know what to make of it. Blue Blood gone for good, Ghost being Wallflower Blush and getting away, or Rarity falling in love with an Artificial Intelligence.
“I’m so sorry about Capper, Rarity.” Fluttershy stated, hugging close to her husband.
Adam then said, “Yeah, I know what it’s like to lose someone you care about.” He held Fluttershy tighter, “Believe me.”
The fashion girl replied, “Thank you, darlings; if it wasn’t for him, Blue Blood would have won.”
Sunset stepped forward and said, “I just can’t believe he’s gone; I mean, he was one of worst villains we’ve ever fought, and now we’ll never do it again.”
“Well, he did kind of bring it on himself.” Rainbow Dash replied.
“That’s true.” Soarin said, agreeing with his girlfriend.
Speaking of those two, Twilight Sparkle turned to them and asked, “Okay, now it’s your turn Rainbow; what were you guys up to.”
“Yeah, and where’d you get the suit?” Applejack asked.
Rainbow Dash and Soarin looked at each and smiled, they then both looked at Pinkie Pie; she was with them when this thing happened and they both knew she wouldn’t be able to keep it in any longer.
Pinkie said, “Come on, just tell them already.”
After taking a deep breath, Rainbow and Soaring said in unison, “We’re engaged.”

Rainbow Dash and Soarin had just finished telling their friends about what they were up to; the story of how they were all in Manehattan, fought and evil speedster, and how Rainbow and Soarin got engaged.
"Oh my goodness, I can't believe you guys are engaged." Fluttershy said.
Rarity then said, "Indeed, you and Soarin are getting married." She then realised something. "Does this mean I get to make the dress?"
The rainbow haired girl replied, "We'll see, Rarity."
Twilight then stepped forward and said, "I think I speak for all of us when we say, 'congratulations to Rainbow Dash and Soarin'. They're about to become Mr and Mrs Dash."
Suddenly, a beeping noise was heard from the computer, Sunset walked over to see what the problem was. When she checked the alert, she gasped and said, "Its Blizzard; he's robbing the fifth national bank."
All the heroes just smiled and looked at each other, Pinkie Pie stepped forward and said, "What are we all waiting for?"
The heroes all got into their suits...
Adam and Twilught went into the back and changed into their spider suits, they came out as Spiderman and Spider-Girl.
Rainbow Dash was already wearing her new red and yellow suit, she pulled the mask over her face. While Soarin picked up his helmet and put it on his head, his body then began to glow blue with power.
Applejack concentrated and her spider-suit slithered out of skin on to her body.
Rarity had finished polishing the scrapes and dirt marks off her armour, she then put helmet on and charged up her suit.
Finally, Pinkie Pie pulled down her eye mask over her face, she was fully suited up.
Spiderman stepped forward and said, "Time go to work."
With Sunset, Fluttershy and Spike staying at the base, the seven super heroes left the and began flying or swinging or running their way to the banks.
This team of superheroes have just begun their adventures together, who knows what the future will hold.
