The Hearths Warming Eve "Guest"

Twilight and Luna have a small crisis at a Hearths Warming Eve party.

Twilight has an unexpected Hearths Warming Eve guest. Normally not a problem but she misunderstood the situation. Thankfully Luna is here to help. Well, maybe not thankfully, but she's here to help either way.

There's some rather silly violence, so it's not exactly for "everyone" but it's very, very tame teen.

Luna's Help

View Online

Twilight paced back and forth in the room, biting her bottom lip as she looked at the chair with her prisoner in it. A prisoner she'd captured trying to sneak into her castle... She was totally justified in her reaction here. No one could get mad at her for it. Except that... Her head snapped around as the door started to open. Twilight quickly grabbed a nearby sheet from her bed and tossed it over the chair and turned to smile at whoever was coming in.

Luna smiled at Twilight, starting with a little small talk before broaching the next subject. "Hello Twilight, this is a very nice Hearth's Warming party."

Twilight smile was strained but as natural as she could make it. "Thank you."

Luna nodded a few too many times before starting the next topic. "I couldn't help but notice you have someone tied up in that chair there Twilight."

Twilight cringed as Luna started to lift the sheet. "Well you know I caught him sneaking into the castle..."

Luna recoiled as she saw who it was. "You captured Santa!?"

Twilight bit her bottom lip and nodded. "Uh... Yeah I did..." Her statement was interrupted by a groan as Santa started to move, until a magically propelled book conked Santa on the head and he slumped down again. "LUNA! What did you do at for!?"

"I'm sorry! He just surprised me!" She shook her head. "Don't worry Twilight, I'll help you through this."

Twilight raised a hoof. "Now hold on, there's nothing to help throu..." They were interrupted by another groan, followed closely by another bonk and Twilight's eyes widened. "Luna! Stop doing that!"

"But he was waking up! He could have yelled for help or something!"

Twilight shook her head. "Ok, we need to clam down, he's Santa, if we just explain what happ..."

"TWILIGHT!" Pinkie burst in through the door of the bedroom before she froze at the sight. "Twilight, what are y..." The proceeding bonk and slump of Pinkie hitting the ground ended her question.

"Luna! What are you doing!?" Luna turned an almost wild gaze on Twilight and she cringed back, half expecting a book to hit her.

"She saw too much! She could have told!" Luna lifted Pinkie's body onto the bed and started rolling it in another sheet as Twilight gaped. "We'll get this taken care of and no one will be the wiser..."

Twilight could only stare for a few second. "Who are you!? We just had one person to deal with and now..." Twilight's statement was interrupted by the door again, as Granny Smith walked into the room.

"Princess? Where do ya..." The thump was a forgone conclusion at this point, though Granny Smith was a bit more hardwearing than Pinkie or Santa as she managed a small moan of "ahh... My bones..." Before hitting the ground.

"Luna! She's like, a hundred years old!" Twilight's horror was well beyond what it had started off as when she got into this predicament.

Luna grabbed another sheet from the closet for Granny Smith to be rolled up in as she shook her head. "Why do you have the most active bedroom in the world!?"

"I'm the host! They're all looking for me!" Twilight looked at the three unconscious people in her bedroom and sighed gently. "So... What are you going to do with them...?"

Luna straightened herself up. "Well, I know that some frown on it but it's the only w..." They were interrupted again by the door, again, and without even waiting for Rainbow Dash to say anything the book swung and the thump of a body hitting the floor was heard. "Sheesh..."

Twilight couldn't handle it any more, any unpleasant results she had to live with was worth Luna not terrorizing people any more. "Luna! I'll handle this! Y-You just... Get out of here..."

Luna frowned. "But Twilight, it'll be a simple fix, we just take the four of them out and use m..."

"No! I'll take all the blame! Don't worry about it! Just go!"

Luna frowned for a moment but then shrugged. "Very well... I think my way would be better but..." She shrugged a second time and departed though the door, as Twilight slumped on her bed, next to the two wrapped up ponies in relief.

Her relief was interrupted by a voice from the door. "Darling, why are you hidin... Darling!?" Rarity had come looking for the host, and found a scene of carnage...

Twilight shook her head. "Don't worry Rarity... It's over. The terror has gone and everything will be ok..."

Rarity looked taken aback. "What terro..." Her voice was cut off as a laced cloth was place snugly over her face and she breathed in a breath and quickly fell asleep.

Luna nodded to Twilight as she walked back in. "I caught Rarity coming back this way so I figured I'd come help."

Twilight could only despair after all the events of the evening. "Luna! I thought I said I'd handle this!"

Luna shrugged and smiled. "True, but we're friends Twilight, and friends help each other. After all, as the saying goes... Friends help you move, best friends help you move bodies."

Twilight recoiled and shook her head, Rainbow Dash had told her that joke before. Her horn flaring as she finally hardened her hear to stop this travesty, no matter the cost. "It doesn't matter Luna! There has to be other options!" Luna rolled her eyes and interrupted as Twilight tried to complete her thought. "Mu..."

"Memory spells aren't dangerous Twilight."

"der..." Twilight blinked and then looked to the side, licking her lips nervously. "Uh... Memory spells you say?"

Luna nodded, tilting her head in question. "Of course! Why? What else would we have been talking about?"

Twilight shook her head. This wasn't exactly the 'right' thing to do. However it would keep them out of any trouble... "Nothing! Nothing at all! Let's get to work on those memory spells then, shall we?"
