The Only Chapter
In this fine morning, the sun was quite warm in the middle of February, but two ponies decided to stay in, because it was cleaning day. Or more accurately, the one a certain purple pony would organize her whole library, deciding a new way to do as so, this time alphabetically. Much to a certain other mare, it meant that she would have to watch her marefriend do all this quietly and no conversation would begin, not that it bothered her much, time with Twilight was always good.
But, I suppose this time, she decided to be a little more present, her first move: poke Twilight some.
Poke. Poke.
Poke.
“Rainbow! What is it?”
“I love you.” then she bleps.
“I love you too, Dash.”
Second Move: play with Twilight's tail.
Grab and drop, that was the routine. But Rainbow was feeling frisky, then decided to nom some of it.
“Rainbow, are you hungry?”
Dash nodded in disagreement.
“Maybe you should get some sleep, you are acting a little off.”
Third Move: lay down in a pile of books and attempt to fall asleep on them, it didn't take long until she heard a voice whine.
“Rainbow, did you really not find a better place to take a nap? You are wrinkling all my literature!” The Unicorn didn't hesitate and used telekineses to lift all the books;
And instinctively the Pegasus jumped off like a cat that's been bothered, sitting down, she rolled her eyes, “That was the first thing I saw, why not use it?”
“Because I'm using them?” Twilight raised an eyebrow, turning away and this time stacking the pile neatly on the floor.
“You should like that I'm laying down on your stuff, it makes it 20% cooler, and I know you like my essence-”
“What about you go get yourself a glass of water, Dash, you seem to be a little dizzy with the things I'm hearing coming out of your mouth.” The Unicorn giggled while climbing a wooden ladder that was connected to the bookshelves with little wheels, like something out of a library.
The rainbow mare scoffed and trotted away quickly, mentally initiating the path to the kitchen, while imitating Twilight, which she found sorta cute.
After arriving, Rainbow downed about three glasses of water, which made her think, 'Why am I so tired?'
The idea of flying around and getting some fresh air wasn't so bad, but she didn't want to leave Twilight alone, what if she accidentally fell asleep on a cloud?
She looked down, “I would miss the perfect chance to cuddle that egghead if I just zoned out…”
Instead, she started scratching her head, looking at the small amount of remaining water at the bottom of the glass, “Why not go to Sugarcube Corner?” The Pegasus was not the type to eat sugary things, but honestly after being invited to try out these mini tarts, she kinda wanted that nice taste on her tongue again, and give some to Twilight of course. Thank Celestia, Pinkie made the perfect combination, wanting something liquid-y but not a pie. Awesome!!
After filling up another glass of water and downing it, Dash washed her face very quickly and stormed off, leaving the empty glass on the counter and a very badly folded towel behind.
After a very short flight, the blue mare reached her destination, “Target acquired.” she spoke confidently before walking in. She was quickly greeted by the party pony herself.
“Heyaaa Dashie~ Whatchu doin'?” Pinkie asked with that seductive but curious voice of hers.
“Hey Pinkie!” The Pegasus waved, “Got some of those awesome tarts? I want to get some, so I am not so sleepy anymore.”
“I wouldn't recommend sugar, although it keeps me going! But, have you tried exercising?” Pinkie giggled, walking away to get a pastry box.
Rainbow Dash was too surprised to speak, she simply tilted her head like a confused puppy.
“Huh, did you hit your head? You know who you are talking to, right?” Rainbow Dash spoke, not meaning any offense. I mean she was a wonderbolt, got a whole wall of medals and is the fastest flyer in Equestria, is her friend ok?
“Ohhh! Of course, sorry, I am very tired today! Silly me~” The Earth pony said, bringing the box and the thongs, “So, how many tarts do you want?”
“Yeah, eight is fine, they're small anyway! Love them though.”
“Coming right up!” Pinkie spoke working extremely fast, in less than thirty seconds, the box was all wrapped up with a quite glittery yet cute sticker spelling out the bakery's name. “Ya like? New addition to make us a little more professional, Fluttershy helped me!”
“Never thought she was the type of pony, I would think this is Rarity's doing.” Rainbow got closer to the box for inspection.
“Oh silly, you should really drink more Tea with Fluttershy, she really likes designing.”
Not being the biggest fan of tea, the Pegasus giggled and placed the box on her back. “I see, maybe I should do that. Oh, and Pinkie?”
“Mmyeah?” The pink mare looked up from the balcony that she started cleaning.
“Thanks for the tarts, I hope Twilight likes them.”
“Oooh, you should have let me give you the heart onesss~” Pinkie whined, deflating from the balcony to the floor.
“Heart?” Rainbow asked worried, but Pinkie was instantly reborn.
“Yeah, they're new, but I suppose it's my fault for not displaying them, I will get right on that. Bye Dashie~” The mare spoke as she turned back to get the batch.
“See ya Ponk!” Rainbow waved with her left wing, and trotted away.
After walking all the way back to the castle, Rainbow already felt better, it was nice stretching her legs, she opened the big door, looking around for any eggheads. No pony was around, she dashed to the kitchen and opened the box, munching on two tarts to get her sweetness ready. Her mission was to seduce her marefriend into giving her attention.
Then coming back to the library room, the Pegasus decided to sneak up on Twilight, to surprise her with her secret move. While crouching about, as quietly as possible, with her blue hooves on stone of the same color, Dash's eyes didn't fail her. Not noticing much progress, but there were thousands of books, it was a secret how, so many ended up here anyway.
When she noticed Twilight was just reading a page on a book, she thought 'Is she slacking, not for long!' and thus, the Rainbow pounce commenced. Dash sprang her hooves up when she got close to Twilight and used her wings to help her propel in the air.
“EGGHEAD!” She yelled before crashing into Twilight, who yelped in fear, both falling to the ground, the Pegasus on top of her.
Rainbow didn't realize the quite awkward position they were in, on the other hoof, Twilight was still recovering but quickly got flustered, both from the position and getting caught reading.
“How does it feel, being caught red hoofed, huh!?”
“It isn't what it looks like.”
“Oh yeah? Why were you reading this instead of cleaning up? You deserve a tsunami of kisses for that!”
“But, I swear, I was only checking what it was about, it looked very enticing-”
“I don't know if I should believe your lies! Muahaha~” Rainbow laughed before attacking Twilight's cheeks with kisses, making her giggle.
“Ok, ok! My turn.” Twilight spoke catching her marefriend off guard, using her magic, she held Dash and rolled her around, so that the Pegasus would be below, and she would be on top of her.
“W-Whaaa-” Rainbow didn't get to finish as Twilight connected their lips, kissing her slowly but passionate, the Pegasus whined a bit, but it didn't take long to relax and close her eyes, enjoying the kiss.
After a minute, Twilight pulled away, and laid down carefully on Rainbow, snuggling into her.
“This is what you wanted, right?” The Unicorn, asked, cockily but still sweet.
Rainbow never thought her last plan would work, and thus her wings sprung to attention and an even deeper blush was what emitted from her. “Y-yes…” The Pegasus finally muttered, not sure what to say, she wrapped her arms around Twilight. Closing her eyes, she enjoyed the warmth from the purple unicorn, which almost felt like sun rays that she would feel when sleeping on a cloud.
After some minutes that felt like hours, Twilight spoke. “What if you help me, huh? That way I can get finished faster, and you can hang with me, I would love some help.”
“You are asking the best pony! I will do it in 10 seconds flat!” Dash proudly waved her hoof.
“You are silly. That isn't how it works, you aren't that good at pickup lines either.” Twilight teased, booping her right after.
“Hey, I am a poet at heart!” Rainbow grumbled, crossing her arms, which only made her marefriend giggle.
“Before we start, I brought you something, what about we eat it together?” They started getting up, Rainbow helping Twilight up.
“Oh, I am quite hungry, I would love to!” This definitely ignited a spark in the purple mare's eyes.
“Then, my princess, you may proceed.” Rainbow spoke as she escorted Twilight to The Royal Kitchen.
Let's hope she likes the tarts.
