> The Reunion Part 1 - Princess Twilight Returns

“TWILIGHT!”

“Hi girls!”

The Rainbooms were excited to see Princess Twilight with Sunset Shimmer and their Twilight again in their world as they rushed over to her for a group hug. Sci-Twi and Sunset just stood there watching their reunion, until they noticed that someone close to Sci-Twi was left there with their mouth open.

“Uh, Night Star?” Sci-Twi approached her boyfriend who just stood there while holding a can of soda. “Hello, Night?” She called his name while waving her hand in front of his face but didn’t change his reaction.

Sci-Twi’s boyfriend looked at the can of soda he held, then back at the Twilight second, then back at the can and to her again. He closed his mouth and approached the nearby trash can and dumped away the soda can.

“I’m not drinking that again,” He said to himself. “Sheesh what have I been drinking, or it's either I’m drinking too much of this recently.”  

“Babe?” He looked to see his girlfriend was just smiling and calm about this as she shook her head. “I don’t think it's because of what you are drinking. There are really two of us.”

“Good, I’m not being drugged that's a relief. So who is she? You never told me you had a twin sister before…”

The girls broke their group hug and were happy to see Princess Twilight again. Twilight sees her double of this world talking with someone and overhears that they are talking about her and her double.

“Uhm, girls?” Twilight asked her friends who are calm about this as Sunset approaches her.

“It’s okay, I got this.” Sunset said and approached her double and Night Star.

“...She couldn’t be your clone because I don’t think cloning is even legal yet. But if there are two of you in this world that will cause some sort of catastrophic anomaly. Or was that last part I mentioned makes no sense ”

“Okay, I predicted that this will be your reaction when you see her but to make it clear; She’s not my twin, I only have a brother. She’s not a doppelganger. She’s not a clone, which you are correct is still illegal. That last part you mentioned I have no idea where you heard that from but there is no such thing.”

“Uh Twilight, Night Star?” The two looked at Sunset who is just standing there waiting for both of you to finish, mostly her attention is to Sci-Twi’s boyfriend. “You may want to take a seat at the fountain Night Star and I will explain everything.”


After minutes of explaining everything…

“...And that is the reason why there are two Twilight’s, you get it now?” Sunset finished her story and the only thing Night Star did was nod.

“Yeah, give me a second.” He repositioned himself, now facing the fountain.

“Night, are you-”

Before Sunset could finish her sentence, Night Star dunked his head and screamed into the fountain. Most of them tried to hold their laughter for they weren’t expecting you to react like that leaving Princess Twilight the only one left out.

“Should I be concerned about this?” Princess Twilight asked.

“Relax sugarcube.” Applejack placing a hand on the princess’ shoulder. “He’s just tryin to calm himself down since this is the first time he’ll meet ya’ll.”

“Okay?”

After a few more seconds of gurgling noises, Night Star emerged from the fountain.

“OH MY…F*CKING GOD!” Night star said while wiping off the excess water from his face. “Why didn’t you tell me I’m in the presence of the princess and-mmpphh!?” Night Star was cut-off by his own girlfriend and Sunset as they both covered his mouth. 

“Now listen,” Sunset said. “In this world Princess Twilight over there is not a princess. She doesn't have her powers because she’s a human. Also, we just call her Twilight so as not to sound awkward when we address her, okay?” Night Star nodded as she and his girlfriend removed their hands from his mouth. “Good.”

“Again, I’m so sorry your high-”

“NIGHT STAR, WHAT DID I JUST SAY!” Sunset angrily reminded him as she covered his mouth again as his voice became muffled.

“It’s fine, there is really no need for formalities.”  Princess Twilight stepped in. “Besides, Sunset is right. I don't have my alicorn powers in my human body.”

It took a while for Twilight to calm her boyfriend down. To make things even laughable by the time the five remaining boyfriends of each of the Rainbooms arrived, they just called her name out without panicking as Sunset yelled at them ‘idiots’.

The gang moved over to the tables at the food court. Pinkie Pie's boyfriend took out and handed a container to Princess Twilight. He made two sandwiches, but these are made which Sunset informed him with lettuce, spinach, hay from the animal shelter, daffodils and daisies. The pony princess states that she loved these sandwiches and enjoyed eating it, not after her friends and the other boys gave her weird looks which she asks. Sunset reminds her about people not normally eating something like this and she is in public but she states that they are the only ones that now about this no one else as she finished one of them.

“Twilight,” Night Star spoke.

“Yes?”  Both Sci-Twi and Princess Twilight replied.

“No, I mean my girlfriend, not you Pri-ehehem…Twilight.” Night Star corrected that last part after what happened earlier at the fountain.

“You know,” Rainbow Dash got in the conversation. “Since there are two Twilight's, how about we do it like this…” Rainbow pointed to the pony princess then to the human Twilight. “Twilight One and Twilight Two.”

(SLAM!)

“Now hold on!” Night Star said after slamming both his hands on the table. “Now who gave you the right to call my girlfriend ‘Twilight Two’?”

“He’s right, why am I number two?” Sci-Twi protests.

“Princess Twilight was the first one that showed up then you came next, right?”

“Now Rainbow Dash,” Sunset’s boyfriend interrupted. “We all know that you are not the smartest member of the group-no offense. But that is not how it works.”

A heated argument started out of something silly that the athlete came up with. Before indulging in her second sandwich, Princess Twilight cleared her throat getting all of their attention. She states what he said was correct and declares herself as ‘Twilight Two’ while her human counterpart will be ‘Twilight One’.

Twilight asked her friends who are these boys that are with them because she doesn’t recognize them. Sunset introduced that each of them are their boyfriends, Sunset with Dusk Eyes, Sci-Twi with Night Star, Pinkie Pie with Frostbite, Rainbow Dash with Sky Blaze (eldest), Fluttershy with Eli Blaze (youngest), Applejack with Onyx Steel, and Rarity with Ardee. The boys introduced themselves to Twilight which she greeted them back. 

“You guys sure are lucky to have your special somepony.” Twilight said but sounded a bit down.

Sky Blaze excused himself from the group and disappeared. Princess Twilight asked the girls what he just did-if he had equestrian magic which they said all of their boyfriends have each of their own power. Before Twilight can ask what powers they have, Rainbow Dash’s boyfriend comes back but not alone.

“Hey this better be something important, I have band practice.”

“That voice.” Twilight’s head shot up and her mood changed as she recognized that voice. She immediately stood up from her seat and turned around, her excitement started to grow who it really was. “Flash?”

Flash Sentry turned around to see the Rainbooms with their boyfriends, but with them as is he couldn;t believe to see who it was.

“Twilight, is that really you?”

“Hi Flash.” Twilight looked at him sheepishly blushing and waved at him.

“Oh my God it really is you!” He rushed over and gave Twilight a hug. This left the pony princess just standing still while in his embrace. He then just realized about aht he talked about with Sunset before and broke the hug only to see Twilight’s blush and surprised expression is still there. “S-Sorry…I mean, no…I didn’t mean…It’s been a while and good to see you again.” 

“Same here.”

The rest of the group watch as their hearts melt in awe with them knowing Princess Twilight had a crush on Flash Sentry and vice versa. Sunset stood from her seat and without breaking her gaze at the pony princess and her ex, approached Rainbow’s boyfriend who stood there just watching.

“So that is the reason why you had to leave.” Sunset now with her arms crossed while watching them.

“That’s right,” Sky Blaze.

“Do you remember the last time we talked about this?” Sunset now gritting her teeth which Sky nods. “Once this reunion is over, I am going to kill you.”

“Oh yeah, right there just behind the ear.” Spike said while laying down on the lap of someone that is similar to the one he has a crush on.

“Anything for you Spike.” Rarity continued to rub his ear.


This happened when the group got out of the mall and planned to go to the Canterlot High night carnival. Before entering their vehicles, Princess Twilight forgot that Spike was in her bag since dogs weren’t allowed inside the mall. 

(GASP!) “Finally I can breathe. I thought you forgot about me.” Spike popped his head out after Twilight opened the zipper to her bag. 

“Hi Spike!” The Rainbooms and the boys greeted him.

“Hi-” Spike replies and turns his attention to... “-Ayayayay…ha-ha-hi Rarity.”

“Same to you Spike.” The fashionista greeted him.


Twilight, Spike and Flash Sentry will go with Rarity in Ardee’'s SUV. Sunset and Sci-Twi will ride in their boyfriend's motorcycle and ATV. The rest will Ride in Pinkie in Frostbite’s van. While on the way to the night carnival, Spike enjoys what Rarity is doing to him with the presence of someone taking quick glances at the dog while on the wheel.

“He sure is clingy to her.” Ardee said while focusing on his driving.

“I mean he does have a crush on Rarity,” Twilight said. “B-But not this world’s Rarity, the one back from Equestria is what I meant.”

“Oh yeah, right there.” Spike enjoyed getting his back rubbed.

The car was slowly put to a halt as the passengers asked why. Instead of words, Ardee grabbed Spike from Rarity’s lap and placed him on Twilight’s instead.

“Hey! What was that for?” Spike said.

“If you think I’m going to let you cuddle with my Rarity,” Ardee said. “Think again. You already have yours back in Equestria, go to her, don't hog mine.” 

“What do you mean your Rarity?”

“I’m her boyfriend, her special someone if that rings a bell?”

“You’re just being selfish. Besides, she's not your property.”

“Now you listen to me you tiny pooch…”

“Enough!” Rarity stopped the argument of the two and gestured to Spike to come to her which he did. “I mean there is nothing wrong with me pampering Spike, he is just adorable.” Rarity rubs Spike’s chin then immediately switches to her special someone and wraps her arms on his while resting her head on Ardee’s shoulder. “Of course I would never replace my one and only, loving and caring prince for someone else.” 

“I bet that those two will have an argument behind your back.” Flash Sentry teasingly guessed.

“Nonsense darling. These two will get along during this reunion and will make a truce on not to ruin it.”

Both sides don’t agree with Rarity’s proposal but after a short moment Ardee cooperates and now awaits the puppy to shake his hand. Spike on the other still doesn’t agree to this, this left Rarity with another option to persuade him.

“Now Spike.” Rarity changed her voice to a more softer and seductive tone. “This could be the last time we can see you and Twilight and we want to make things memorable with both of you.” Rarity then places her hand on Spike's chin and faces him to meet her charming gaze. “Could you do this for me…Pretty please, Spikey-wikey?”

Spike looked away for a moment and mumbled something since his weakness is too obvious even to Princess Twilight herself. After giving a deep breath and sigh, Spike, even though still not liking it, placed his paw on Ardee’s hand and they made an agreement. 

“Good boys. Now we should hurry along Ardee because we don’t want to keep the others waiting,” Rarity said to her boyfriend as he resumed his driving.

“This is going to end well for those three with Rarity in the way,” Twilight said confidently.

“Wanna bet it won’t?” Flash dared her.

“Challenge accepted!”

Most of the group are waiting at the entrance to the carnival and finally the last five have arrived. They asked what took them so long which Twilight gestured as they followed where her eyes are pointing at Spike and Ardee giving each other the cold stare at each other. As Rarity turned her back at them, the two immediately gave awkward smiles like they weren’t mad at each other but the fashionista didn’t fall for it. As they entered the carnival, each couple went their separate ways leaving Spike with the couple Rarity and Ardee.

While walking through the stalls, the three of them arrived at a gift stall where Rarity had her eyes on fashion accessories. Rarity chose two different designs of brooches and asked which better suits her. Spike uses his knowledge as a dragon to determine the ripeness while Ardee uses his knowledge since his parents are known owners for running the jewelry business. Rarity has a hunch that the two will argue about this again and decide that she will take both.

Upon leaving the gift stall, Rarity yanked her boyfriend as Spike followed to hide and see Twilight and Flash Sentry. Ardee suggested not to eavesdrop on them but his girlfriend refuses as she continues with her pursuit with Spike following her. The three followed Twilight and Flash to a Ferris wheel which she told her boyfriend and Spike to wait here and she will ride in the cart that they will be in. 

Ardee ordered shawarmas for him and Spike as they watched the cart where Rarity rode with Twilight and Flash.

“You know what,” Ardee said, making Spike pause while eating his shawarma.

“What?” Spike replies.

“That we are arguing over something which is not even necessary.”

“I guess you are right about that.” Spike said a bit guilty but that changed to a smile. “Funny how she really acts the same way my Rarity is.”

“Well duh, my girlfriend is a counterpart to yours. You love your Rarity and I love mine, I mean that is one of the things we have in common...”


Meanwhile, back at the Ferris wheel…

“The view is great from up here.” Twilight looks in amazement through the window. 

“It sure is,” Flash Sentry commented. as he slowly wraps his arm around Twilight.

While Twilight is distracted with the view, Flash boldly and slowly wraps his arm around Twilight. By the time his hand touches her upper arm, Twilight felt it and turned her head to Flash only to see his face inches from her leaving her blushing the same way he is. The moment was broken when they heard a cough to see Rarity telling them to ignore her and pretend she isn’t here as she sat on the opposite side of the ride while covering her face with a magazine with a hole for her to peek through. 

The distance between them begins to shrink with Twilight with her eyes closed, same with Flash. Just as they’re about to close in the gap the moment was interrupted when a loud sound came from outside, also startling Rarity. The three looked outside to see an explosion which they thought were fireworks, but it's not as it formed into the shape of a snowflake. Rarity easily guessed where and who made that.


As they got off the ride, Rarity immediately approached her boyfriend and Spike who were sitting at a table by the food stalls as Twilight and Flash followed from behind.

“Boys!” Rarity called out getting both of their attention. “Didn’t I tell both of you-”

“It’s fine Rarity,” Spike said. “We’re not fighting.”

“Wait, you’re not? Then what was that blast of energy we saw?”

“I was just demonstrating to Spike what I can do since he is a dragon,” Ardee explained. “Me and Spike are doing fine now.”

“Oh thank goodness.” Rarity placed her hand on her chest and was relieved to see her boyfriend and Spike are getting along. As she approached them, she immediately pinched both of their ears. “Now what did I say earlier?”

“Ouch, my ear!” Spike screamed in pain.

“What did we do now? Oww!” Ardee asked. 

“Yes you did say that both of you are getting along, but you made my boyfriend use his powers and I got worried that you two are at it again. Do I have to keep an eye on both of you all the time? I am ashamed…”

It wasn’t long the rest of the group arrived and had the same reaction when they saw that blast of energy and now to see Rarity nagging at the two boys.

“Uhh, did we  miss something?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Don’t worry,” Twilight said. “Everything is fine.”
> The Reunion Part 3 - Guardians

Tonight became the best night for the Rainbooms, for they spent it with Princess Twilight, with their boyfriends, and Flash Sentry tagging along after he was brought here to spend his time with Twilight. 

Many things happened after each couple separate: Rainbow Dash angrily chased after Sky after unintentionally throwing a dart at her butt at the balloon dart game and lose to Applejack in the high striker game who proved she is stronger than her with Onyx holding her geode for proof she played fair and square; Pinkie and Frostbite bought some cotton candy, while looking away he accidentally nibbled on Pinkie’s hair than the cotton candy itself; Sci-Twi and Night Star helped Eli win a cute yeti plushie for Fluttershy at the shooting booth and it took not one but three corks, shot at the same time to knock it down according to the calculations of the two eggheads; Sunset and Dusk went to a ring toss game which she states she was still traumatized on the last one she went to at Equestria Land, but Dusk easily and calmly tossed all the rings and won pocket monster keychains for both of them which left Sunset with her mouth open.

While each couple spend their own fun time, that is when they saw Ardee’s energy blast in the sky and rushed over to where it came from to see Rarity scolding both her boyfriend and Spike. To remember this night, Pinkie suggested a group photo in which Sci-Twi asks Sky’s assistance to teleport back to her place to retrieve the selfie drone. Also at the carnival, the Rainbooms saw Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna with one of their male teachers here who were happy to see Princess Twilight again as all of them joined in for the group photo.

Before heading home, the group made a last stop at Canterlot High to say goodbye to Twilight and Spike as the Rainbooms gave them another group hug while their boyfriends watch.

"It's good to see you girls again.” Twilight said after breaking the hug then something came to her mind that she almost forgot to ask as she pointed to the Rainbooms’s boyfriends. “By the way, I haven’t even asked about what their powers were?”

The girls explained how it all started and each one has a different type: Ardee - ice magic, Eli - animal shapeshifting, Frostbite - cloning (multiply himself), Onyx - durability (body as hard as steel), Dusk Eyes - shadow magic, Sky - teleportation, Night Star - technopathy. The pony princess also asked if they knew what they’re doing, which the Rainbooms assured as they glanced at them that they would cause no trouble. Rainbow Dash even thought of giving their group a name since they are called ‘The Rainbooms’ and suggested names that are a bit over exaggerated. Ardee suggested the name ‘Guardians’, not too long nor short and not too over the top which all of them agreed to that name.

“Alright, then as the Princess of Friendship I hereby dub thee ‘Guardians. That you boys will use your powers for good and will help my friends in times that are needed.” Twilight made her royal gesture.

“Yes your highness!” All of them said as they knelt in front of her to Twilight surprise that they’d played along as Sunset facepalm herself that their boyfriends can sometimes be idiots.

Before stepping through the portal of the statue, Princess Twilight forgot that Flash Sentry was still here as she asked for a moment from them that she needs to speak with him.

“So, I guess this is goodbye, again?” Flash said, a little disappointed.

“Yes and I’m sorry that I cannot stay for I am needed back at Equestria since I am a princess.” Twilight also sounded disappointed as she rubbed her arm while looking away. She then took a deep breath and looked at Flash. “Thank you for not forgetting about me.” After her sentence, Flash boldly placed both of his hands on Twilight’s arms, surprising as the pony princess blush. “F-Flash!?”

“Twilight, I just want to say before you leave…” Flash took one deep breath and in one go. “I just want to say that I have a crush on you and felt disappointed when you left and waited if you can come back as Sunset said you can’t because you have your duties as a princess that  I got over you and now that you are here and before you leave I just want to say that I love you!”

Flash then filled in the gap as he pressed his lips firmly to Twilight’s as her eyes went wide in surprise. Her legs start to shake only for her to lift one up. All of her friends are at awe, some squeal in excitement that they are doing it and some had their mouths opened that they weren’t expecting to see. Flash then separates the kiss to see Twilight’s surprise face whose blush is still there.

“AGAIN I LOVE YOU…I’M SORRY…AND GOODNIGHT!” 

Flash then removes his hands from her as he immediately turns around and quickly walks away. Twilight squeaks as she keeps her balance even though her legs are a bit shaky. Her friends just stood there still couldn’t believe what happened.

“Oohh, Princess Twilight finally got her kiss with Flash,” Pinkie teasingly said.

“My goodness, even Eli cannot do something as bold as that.” Fluttershy commented.

“What they did made my heart melt in awe!” Rarity said with both hands clasping on her chest. Then she turned to her boyfriend who actually has his phone out. “Darling, did you just take a photo of them?”

“No, I took a video.” Ardee replies as he replayed the video.

“Ooh, that’s even better. Could you please send me a copy of that?”

“Why do I feel that what he did to her,  he did to me?” Sci-Twi asked herself.

“Uh, I hate to interrupt.” Applejack getting their attention who approached Twilight. “But Ah think Princess Twilight over here ain’t doing fine.” Applejack then waved her hand in front of her. “Ya’ll doing okay sugarcube?”

“I…I…I…” Twilight kept repeating until she started speaking gibberish and gestured on what happened using her hands. 
 
“Yep, she’s definitely broken.” Rainbow said until Sunset whacked her at the back of her head. “Oww! What was that for?”

 “Not helping!” Sunset angrily said and approached the pony princess who stood there. “Alright, I think it’s time for you to get back home.”

Sunset with the help of Applejack moved Princess Twilight to the statue and pushed her into the portal as everyone said goodbye to her but still mind blown . The only one left to enter it is Spike.

“I’ll take it from here. Twilight is going to have a hard time sleeping this through,” Spike said. 

“Good luck with Rarity back there,” Ardee said.

“I will, same to you.” Spike replies then looks at everyone else. “Goodbye!”

“Bye Spike!” Everyone said as he entered the portal.

Everyone was both happy and sad to see Princess Twilight again and had to go back to Equestria. One of them started gritting their teeth and glared at the one who brought Flash Sentry into the scene.

“SKY!” Sunset angrily yelled, getting his attention.

“Big bro, she's onto you!” Eli warned his big brother as he grabbed his arm and both of them teleported away to escape Sunset.

“Son of a-SKY GET BACK HERE, I’M NOT DONE WITH YOU!!”
> Spike Switcheroo

“Nice day for a walk,” Night Star said while holding on to a leash. “Especially you, Twily said you could use the exercise, since you gained some weight.”

Twilight’s boyfriend wasn’t at his part-time job at the mall as he and Spike walked around the neighborhood and without realizing they arrived at Canterlot High. They are about to leave, until they see the portal at the Wondercolt statue glowing that something/ someone is coming through. The two were expecting Princess Twilight, but it wasn't her who came out but someone else.

“Wait, is that…me?” Spike asked either Night Star or himself.

That’s right, the Spike from Equestria was the one that came out of the portal as he rubbed his head with his paw and got on his two legs then to his four. Night Star sees Spike just staring at his double who is about to enter back into the portal, which gives him an idea.

“Spike, over here!” Night Star called out the other Spike, getting his attention.

“Oh hey and…” Spike greeted him and when he looked down, his sentence was cut in two. “...me?”

The two approached the other Spike who just sat there staring as his counterpart from this world approached him. Night Star was pretty sure that his girlfriend and Princess Twilight interacted but not the two Spikes, so this is the perfect opportunity for the two to meet each other.

“Spike, meet…your other self,” Night Star said.

“So-what's up?”  Spike awkwardly greeted his double with his two finger paws pointing at him. Then he looked back at the Night Star. “This is getting awkward.” He hears footsteps and sees his double now in front of him, giving a friendly smile while holding his paw out. He gets the sign meaning ‘shake hands’ or to correct it ‘shake paws’ as he reaches out and shakes paws with his Equestria counterpart. “So, what brings you here?”

Spike (Equestria) explained that he was just cleaning the castle and while at it, he cleaned the mirror. Then he accidentally tripped over something and entered the mirror which he got here. Instead of heading back the two dogs (one being a dragon) interact with each other.

“Wow, for a dragon you’re already famous. Saving an empire three times in a row and getting to go out on adventures and here I am just a talking dog who just eats, sleeps and plays with my owner,” Spike said sounding a bit upset then something came to his mind. “I wonder what it feels like to be a dragon?”

“How about you come with me to Equestria so I can show you,” The other Spike suggested then something hatched up in his head. “Also after I’m done showing you the ropes, we can switch places just for one day and see how it goes.”

“I…I guess one day wouldn’t hurt.”

“Great, then one day it is. Besides, our Twilights wouldn’t mind.” Spike (Equestria) led Spike to the portal before looking at the Night Star. “I’ll just show him around for a while then I will be right back.”

“I’ll just wait here and take a nap over there.” Night Star pointed to a tree nearby. “Don’t take long.”

“We won’t.” The two Spikes said as they entered the portal.

Half an hour passed and Night Star was having a good snooze underneath the tree. It wasn’t long Spike came out of the portal and ran towards him. He moved his arm as he called out to him making him groan and waking from his nap. 

“Oh, you’re back.” Night Star stretched his arms out and double checked one thing. “Are you our Spike or Spike number two?”

“I’m from Equestria,” Spike said. “Sorry it took a little longer that we even bumped into Princess Twilight and was very surprised to see the other me. I only gave him a tour around her castle for the meantime. She will send a message to Sunset about the switch so this world’s Twilight will be aware also.”

“Good, now the only thing we need to do is to drop you over to my girlfriend’s place, show you around her house, then I’ll be on my way.” Night Star took the leash and Spike refused to have it hook to his collar.

“I don’t need that, I’ll just follow you.”


The two arrived at Twilight’s house. Luckily someone was home which was Ms. Twilight Velvet as she thanked Night Star for walking Spike and offered him to rest for a while then he can go. After she went back to what she was doing, Night Star showed him around the house and where/ which rooms to and not to enter. Before leaving, Ms. Velvet told the two of you that it’s Spike’s bath time which you offered to do for her. Funny is when you bathed him in the bathtub, he took a hold of  the back scrubber and used it to rub himself without the help of Night Star. Well since he is a dragon and he has fingers, no doubt he can do this by himself. After that Night Star tells him that he will be leaving and asks if he can take it from here which he said yes.


It is now night time and Night got out of the shower and is now getting dressed until his phone rings. After putting on a shirt he checked and saw that Twilight was calling.

“Hello Twily?” He answered his phone.

“DON’T YOU TWILY ME! WHERE IS SPIKE?!” Twilight yelled at the other line as Night Star immediately moved his phone away while he could still hear her loud voice. Then he placed his phone back to his ear as silence came to the other line.

“He’s right there.” He responds as he hears an obviously sarcastic laugh from the other line.

“Okay, very funny. Seriously though, if you think you can fool me, nice try but this is not my Spike.”  

“How can you tell?”

“Oh, let me jot it all down to you: When I came home I saw him instead of lying on his stomach like a dog does, he is lying on his back with his paws behind his head; when it's supper the way he asks for a spoon and fork which I wonder but then he ate and uses his front paws to feed himself; When he needs to relieve himself instead of going outside the house, he uses the bathroom and stood on two on top of the toilet seat; And to check if my analysis was correct, I purposely left out a picture of Rarity and pretended that I left the room to see he is gazing at her photo so I had to ask and he admits that he is from Equestria.”

“Sunset was supposed to tell you about this. You didn’t get her message?”

“No I-wait.” Twilight paused for a moment. “I just got the message.”

“Spike said that he will show him around for a while before they both swap places, he should be fine.”

“I know, I know. I’m sorry that I yelled, you could have at least sent me a message while I was at my part-time job. We’ll just meet at the statue tomorrow before classes start to pick up Spike.”

“I’m sorry to Twily, I’ll see you two tomorrow then.”

The next day at the statue, the three waited at the statue and then the rest of the Rainbooms arrived. Sunset took out her magic journal and wrote something on it to message Princess Twilight something. It wasn’t long before the portal began to glow and Spike emerged from it.

“Hi Spike!” The Rainbooms greeted him except for the three.

“Hey girls.” Spike said and turned his attention to his other self. “So, how did it go with my Twilight?”

"Good, until she caught me." He replies while scratching teh back of his head, looking away with an awkward smile.

"Spike!" Twilight rushes over and picks him up, giving him a hug. "I was so worried that you swap places. Are you okay, how was it back there?"

The girls were puzzled on what they were talking about which Twilight explains that they swap places for one day. She figured out through his actions that the Spike with her is the one from Equestria and hers was at Equestria. Spike (Equestria) explains Princess Twilight immediately knew the difference because his counterpart doesn’t have any wings yet and also through his actions. He then waves goodbye at them and re enters the portal leaving his counterpart back in his owners hands. Before they all head inside, Spike inserted his finger paw in his mouth a plucked out which looks like a gem shard got stuck between his teeth which he explains that his Equestrian counterpart eats gems to the group laughing it out.
> Daily Life with the Apples

“Hoowee, that’s the last apple tree we need to harvest.” Applejack took off her hat as she wiped her forehead. “All that’s left is to load these crates into the truck for delivery to the farmer’s market.”

“Got it!” Pinkie and Frostbite said as they started lifting the crates to the van.

It’s a bright sunny day at Sweet Apple Acres, perfect day for harvesting some apples. The second sibling to the Apple family, Applejack finished picking the apples of the last tree that's needed. All of this was hard work which is easy as pie for the farm girl since she also considers this a form of exercise for herself. She didn’t do this all by herself though, today her friend Pinkie Pie and her Frostbite (Pinkie’s special someone) helped with picking the apples as they loaded them at the van. 

Normally either it's either her younger sister Apple Bloom or the eldest sibling Big Macintosh helping her with this whenever they are available. But today Apple Bloom was taking care of the chickens, Granny Smith was busy with the cows and Big Mac can’t work after a silly accident he did to himself.

“Thank you both for dropping by to help with mah granddaughter.” Granny Smith thanked Pinkie and Frostbite as they loaded the last of the farm goods to Frostbite’s van. 

“It’s nothing. Originally I was supposed to go to the grocery store and that is when I got the message from Applejack and if that’s the case, I called Frosty about this. I mean why go to the supermarket if we’ll get them from the source.” Frostbite said as he earned a chuckle from everyone as he closed the door to his van. “Speaking of which, how did Big Mac injure his hand?”

“Has something to do with Ms. Cheriee.” Apple Bloom teased her big brother who just whistled and played innocent.

“Mah silly brother has this crush with Ms. Cherilee,” Applejack said his secret as he tried to stop her. “That one day when we were at Canterlot High, me and him were makin sure the truck’s engine wasn’t overheatin’, that is when Ms. Cherilee showed up to get somethin in her car. He got so distracted that he closed the hood of the truck without paying attention that his hand was there.”

“Guilty as charged,” Big Mac said, rolling his eyes.

“Anyway, ya’ll better hurry along and get them delivered to the market.” Applejack reminded them as Big Mac got into the front seat of the van since he cannot drive. “Oh Pinkie, Frostbite we also save some apples, eggs and milk for both of ya’ll once you made the delivery and come back since that is the reason why yer here.”

“Sweet.” Frostbite took out his wallet. “Uh, how much are they?”

“We’ll talk about it later. Now ya’ll three better get a move on.”

Pinkie got in the back without toppling the goods as her boyfriend got into the driver’s seat and started the van as they drove off. The remaining three head inside until Applejack’s middle starts to growl.

“Whoops haha, guess all that apple picking made me hungry and it's near lunch.”

“Oh, how about I make lunch using some of the eggs Ah saved from one of our chickens.” Apple Bloom volunteered while her sister raised an eyebrow.

“Ah don’t know, last time this happened when you and yer friends were at Rarity’s and nearly burned Rarity’s kitchen.”

“NO, not this time. We had some lessons…”

“From Rarity.”

“...and Ardee.” Apple Bloom adds to her sister’s sentence.

“Oh, him.” Applejack said that last part in a low tone. “Anyway Ah’ll be watchin just to make sure.”

“Ya’ll really don’t have to.”

In the end Applejack just watched nearby as her younger sister made the preparations. She positioned a bowl in front of her since her plan is to make an omelet. Apple Bloom tapped the egg at the side of the bowl creating a little opening. She cracked it open and what came out is a fluffy yellow ball instead of the actual egg itself which also got the attention of Applejack.

 “Awwe!” Both sisters witnessed the birth of a baby as it got to its two little feet.

“Hey lil fella.” Applejack took the chick from the bowl into her hands. “Yer ain’t supposed to be in there. Yer supposed to be with your mother.”

“Guess baby chicks for breakfast is a bad idea. Oh well, better try another egg.”

Apple Bloom grabbed another egg and cracked it open. Same as the last one, another baby chick came out from the egg. Both sisters look at each other then to the remaining eggs. The older sister ordered the youngest one to break all the eggs open into. Just as Applejack predicted, all the eggs were cracked open and an exact total of eight baby chick came out from them. 

“What’s all the hullabaloo about?” Granny Smith came to check all the noise coming from the kitchen to witness the newly born chicks with Applejack and Apple Bloom. “Hehehe ya’ll better get those lil fellers back to where you got them from.” 

Applejack used her hat to carry most of the chicks as Apple Bloom carried the rest carefully to the chicken coop. The youngest Apple said she got them from Ms. Cluckerbottom which they easily spot the chicken. Upon approaching the mother hen, both of them placed the baby chicks down as the mother easily recognized her children. The same goes with the chicks recognizing their own mother.

“Now that's what Ah call a happy reunion.” Applejack said as she pulled her younger sister to her. “Too bad for the omelet, that’ll better wait next time.”

“Oh man.” Apple Bloom then realized something. “I forgot that we have eggs in the refrigerator, I’ll use those instead.”

“Sure you can sugarcube.” Applejack allowed her as the younger sister went inside. “Ah wonder why she never thought of the ones in the refrigerator in the first place? No matter, at least we have new members added to the family.” She gave a last look at the baby chicks with their mother as she went inside the house.
> Curing an Illness

Strolling around the school grounds is a fellow Canterlot High student who happens to leave the clearing where the Eco Kids club hangs out. This student prefers to meditate in an area full of peace and quiet. He arrived at a location which happened to be some sort of garden filled with different kinds of plants and flowers. He happens to spot a bench by the garden but he prefers to sit on his knees as he pushed the benched a little for him to sit on the ground. 

“Ahhhh, peace and quiet.” He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

“Uh, hello?”

The student lost his moment of silence when he heard someone's voice calling out to him. He slowly opened one eye to see a familiar female face with long green hair and wearing a light brown striped sweater that his girlfriend Rainbow Dash and the girls encountered before with her using a stone that can erase people’s memories.

“Oh good you’re awake. Sorry to wake you up Sky, there is a bench you can sit on rather than sitting there on the ground.” Wallflower Blush said who is holding a pot of flowers. She placed the potted plant next to others of its same kind as she sat on the bench next to him. “So what brings you here? Normally I see you doing your thing at the spot where the Eco Kids are.”

“They’re currently using Wallflower and so it happens I found this place. If you have something to do here, I can leave-”

“Nonono, it's fine. I prefer to have someone to talk to than being alone.”

“Ain’t Roseluck, Lily Valley and Daisy already members of your club?”

“They’re not here yet. So if you could stay here for a while?”

“Sure. Guess I’ll have to resume my meditation when I get back home.” Sky stood up and began doing some stretches.

“Sorry again.”

Sky Blaze looked around to see more plants and flowers are around than before based on the photograph of Wallflower in the school yearbook. She retells about her apologizing to Sunset and the girls about what she did before which they accepted her apology. After that new members joined the Gardening Club and the results are right in front of them.

He then sees a blue flower with orange spots that is out of place with the others. Wallflower notices it as she picks it up and inspects it for she doesn’t recall this flower being here earlier after seeing Sky.

“I’ve never seen this one before?” She said.

“What do you mean?” Sky asked.

“I am the President of the Gardening Club and to my knowledge on flowers and plants, this is the first time I’ve seen this flower.” It then suddenly releases orange pollen as the two immediately move away coughing after inhaling some of it. “That’s *cough* *cough* new. S-Sky, what's happening to you?”

Sky raises his eyebrow and sees he has orange spots on his arms and his face as he points to Wallflower who now has the same thing.

“Okay Mr. Blaze you can close your mouth now.” Nurse redheart said after checking his mouth using a tongue depressor. “Now let me check your heartbeat.”

Sky and Wallflower quickly went to the school clinic after Nurse Redheart was done with Sunset Shimmer who happens to be there. The nurse is checking first on Sky as Wallflower waits for her turn with Sunset standing nearby.

“So what are you doing here?” Wallflower asked.

“My blood pressure went up a little,” Sunset replies. “I just need to avoid doing things that can be stressful…ESPECIALLY WITH SOMEONE WHO I AM NOT DONE WITH YET!” She then raised her voice as her attention shifted to Sky.

*Cough* *cough* “Crap.” Wallflower started to cough out bubbles much to her shock. “Okay am I not the only one who sees that I am coughing bubbles. Because I don’t think this is normal!”

“She’s right.” Nurse Redheart was done checking with Sky. “These aren’t normal chicken pox on your bodies and I haven’t seen this kind of illness before.”

Sunset begins to wonder as she looks at the flower that was placed at the far side of the room. She reaches for her bag and takes out a device made by Sci-Twi and Night Star which is a prototype Equestrian magic detector. She points the device to the plant and her guess was correct, this plant got affected by Equestrian magic and turned it into what they are looking at right now.

Her second guess is that the illness that Wallflower and Sky caught must be Equestrian as she grabs her journal that’s also in her bag and writes a message to Princess Twilight about this. She receives the message from the princess as she immediately backs away from it as she explains that Twilight and the Fluttershy from Equestria encountered this disease called ‘Swamp Fever’ and explained its symptoms. The three were horrified that the worst symptom is that if both Wallflower and Sky aren’t cured soon, they will turn into a tree that carries the disease flower.

“Sunset, you need to help us!” Wallflower said in a panic tone.

“Yes I will.” Sunset said as she backed away from her to avoid getting contact. “I need to get back to Equestria because the cure is there. I just need to find some way to bring that flower back to Equestria to get rid of it without inhaling if it will spray its pollen.”

“Sunset darling are you in here?” Rarity sang as came into the nurse’s office and found whom she was looking for and saw Sky and Wallflower’s condition. “My stars! What happened to them?”

“Long story but I need your help.”

In front of the pedestal, Sunset has the potted flower in her hands but inside a diamond container she asked Rarity to make to contain it.

“If in case their condition starts to worsen…” Sunset hands Rarity and Sci-Twi her journal. “...Inform me by writing in my journal and I will get your message using Twilight’s journal.”

“Please hurry.” Rarity said as she took Sunset’s journal in her hand.

After Sunset entered the portal, the two girls planned to prevent anyone from entering the Nurse’s clinic and to inform Principal Celestia about this. 

“All we just need is for someone to go in there and monitor their conditions to help Nurse Redheart,” Sci-Twi said. “Rarity, do you or Ardee have any hazmat suits you can provide? I’ll go ask Night Star if he has one.”

“Leave it to me darling.”

“Now we just need someone to volunteer to assist Nurse Redheart?” Sci-Twi asked.

A while later inside the school, caution tapes were placed on both sides of the hallway outside the school clinic which caught the attention of the students on what was going on after Principal Celestia announced over the speakers about what happened.

“How is Wallflower doing?” Daisy asked.

“Is she getting worse, is she alright?” Roseluck added.

“THE HORROR, THE HORROR!” Lily Valley overreacts.

“Is my boyfriend okay?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“One by one, they’re doing fine for now.” Rarity said behind the caution tapes preventing anyone, especially the other members of the Rainbooms from going beyond the tape. “Twilight is currently monitoring them from inside.”

Principal Celestia emerged from the crowd of students to check the status of the scenario. Rarity took out her phone and video call Twilight’s phone as the egghead answered it. Since she is the one wearing a hazmat suit she handed her phone to Nurse Redheart to speak with the principal who also caught the disease.

“How are things going in there?” Principal Celestia asked.

“Not…*couch* *cough*...not good.” Nurse Redheart replies after coughing bubbles. “Let’s hope Sunset returns soon with the cure. Sky started to sneeze lightning bolts, now I know what Sunset meant by shock sneezing-”

“AAAHHHHH!!”

“Wallflower what’s wrong?” Nurse Redheart moves the screen to Wallflower who starts to sprout leaves on her fingers much to everyone's horror.

“Tell Sunset to hurry!” Wallflower yells from the phone.

The call ended as Rarity opened Sunset's journal and as soon as she wrote a message for Sunset to get back here ASAP…

“Rarity!”

Sunset appeared from the other side of the hallway and sprinted towards the fashionista and Principal Celstia. She pulls out a jar containing what looks like honey.

“Sorry…if I took…a little longer.” Sunset said panting. “Feed them this honey and they will immediately get cured.”

“Thank goodness you have it. Things became worse after you left.” Rarity took the jar from Sunset and knocked at the door of the clinic as the egghead came out in a hazmat suit. “Here’s the cure, now hurry!”

Sci-Twi nods and goes back inside, closing the door behind her. Everyone patiently waited for them for a few more minutes. The door to the school clinic opened as Sci-Twi got out and took off the suit. Soon Sky Blaze, Nurse Redheart and Wallflower Blush followed from behind, all cured and healthy again. The one who broke the tape was Rainbow Dash as she sprints to her special someone and embraces him relieved that he is okay but then moves away to keep her image.

“Thank you so much Sunset,” Nurse Redheart said.

“Thanks, I owe you one.” Wallflower said as she passed Sunset only to be met by a group hug from her club members.

The Rainbooms approach Sunset to congratulate and give her a group hug for she saved the lives of three people, until…

*Cough* *cough*

The girls quickly backed away from Sunset who coughed bubbles and started to have orange spots on her. She immediately asked if there's any left of the honey which Sci-Twi offered her a spoonful of ash she took it, curing her instantly.

“Man that was close,” Sunset said in relief.

“UHUH,” The rest of the Rainbooms agreed.
> The Apple Stakeout

“Ah appreciate that ya’ll doing this for us sugarcube,” Applejack said. “But ain’t this a lil too much.

“You did say that there are people robbing your apples, right?” Onyx said. “Before it escalates the sooner we catch them the better.”

Lately the Applejack and her family have experienced a thief or two stealing their crops. This information got to Onyx, her special someone, before matters turned to worst with the assistance of Night Star and Big Macintosh, electric fences were installed around the orchard to prevent anyone from entering.

“Don’t worry about the expenses, I paid Night Star already.” Onyx said smugly.

“Ah don’t like the look on yer face. Will these fences even be enough though?”

“Not quite. We will also need three pieces of logs long enough for two people to stand on, a rope, and your bow and arrow?”

“Why?”

Applejack had a bad idea though on what was in her boyfriend’s mind as he talked about this with her about the plan.

It is now nighttime at Sweet Apple Acres, the trap has been set. Applejack and Onyx are hiding inside a fake bush with enough space for two persons in it beside a three.

“Night Star, are you in position?” Onyx called him from a walkie talkie.

“I’m on top of their house on overwatch.” Night Star replies.

“Why in tarnation do ya’ll have to be on top of our house?” Applejack asked.

“I need the high ground while you two take the low ground if my prediction is wrong, duh. I’ll be on the lookout now, over and out.”

“Ah won’t even bother knowing more about what he does in his free time.”


Minutes have passed and no one seems to have arrived yet. Applejack lets out a long sigh and decides to have a little talk with Onyx.

“Sugarcube,” Applejack said, getting her boyfriend’s attention. “Ya’ll really didn’t have to do all of this stuff for me and mah folks. It feels like I’m in your debt even more.”

“Is it still about the fact of both our family status?” He asked as she nodded. Onyx wrapped his arm around his girlfriend comforting her. “Don’t think about it.”

“Ah know, it’s just-”

Their conversation was stopped as Night Star is contacting them from the walkie talkie as Applejack answered it.

“Bogey incoming,” He said in a low tone

“Ah beg your pardon?” She asked.

Night Star points to a car coming into the area where Applejack and Onyx are hiding. Just as the prediction, the car parked nearby their location as two figures got out with are men, their faces covered and wearing all black. The farm girl recognized the car and had a guess who it belonged to but wasn’t sure since their faces were unrevealed yet. The two men approached the fence and she hears them wondering that this wasn’t here before.

“This ain’t gonna work, these fellas will just have to come back and find some way to get over and we’ll have to think of another plan.” Applejack said disappointedly.

“That is when the logs that were placed nearby come in, if they noticed them.” Onyx said, pointing to the logs nearby.

Things even went according to plan as the men noticed the logs and started bringing them to the fence. Night Star then spoke from the other line to get her bow and arrow ready.

“So can ya’ll explain why we need this stuff?” She asked Onyx after tying the end of the arrow with the rope.

“Okay so plan is that once they step on the logs, they will use them to jump over the fence to avoid getting electrocuted. But we are going to foil that, you shoot the arrow at the log at the bottom. Once they extend their legs and before they could jump, you pull the rope and then their plan fails and we catch them,” He said.

“Wait just a darn moment, so that mean they’ll get zapped in the-”

“Exactly.”

“What are you crazy, that’s most stupid idea you’ve fellas ever thought of!”

“Got any brighter ideas? It’s now or never.”

Applejack face palmed herself after hearing this obnoxious plan that they came up with to catch the thieves.

“Careful now.” One of them said as he supported his companion by stepping on the logs. “Okay now we extend our legs.”

While the two men are distracted to avoid getting shocked by the fence, Applejack without alerting hers and Onyx presence shot the arrow directly at the log at the bottom and quickly hid back into the bush.

“What was that?” One of the men asked.

“It could be a trap that those Apples must have set up that failed. We got away once and we will get away with this again.” The other said.

“Indeed.”

“Yeah but this will stop you, jerks.” Onyx looked at Applejack and gestured as she held onto the rope that had the arrow tied to it.

“Now on my mark, one…”

“Pull!”

Onyx gave a signal and Applejack quickly pulled the rope causing the logs that the two thieves were standing on to get toppled as they were met by volts of electricity. The sounds of the two men screaming and the battery box blowing up sending both men flying as one of them landed nearby Applejack and Onyx and the other fell at the bottom of the three.

(Tonk, Tonk, Tonk, Tonk, Tonk…Tonk…Tonk)

He passes out after getting hit by several apples on his head.

“We're under attack and Applejack needs our help!” Apple Bloom shouted from inside the house after hearing the explosion from the battery box. “Big Mac I’ll grab the shovel and you wake Granny Smith.”

“Nope.”

“Okay, I’ll wake Granny Smith and you get the shovel.”

“Eeyup.”

Back outside, Night Star who is still on the roof sheds some light on Applejack and Onyx as they subdue the two crooks. Applejack pulls the mask of one of them and…

“Well Ah’ll be, if it ain’t Flim and Ah guess the other could be…” Applejack suspects it's the Flim Flam brothers as the one she unmasked was Flim who still felt the effects of the shock in his groin. She looks over to her special someone who unmasked the other who is Flam that was unconscious after getting hit by apples. “If ya’ll fellas thought you can get away with stealing out business, well yer plans have foil again.”

‘Y-y-you…m-m-may…have won…t-t-this day.” Flim stutters as he slowly gets to his feet. “W-w-we…will…b-b-be…back-”

(KLONK!)

“OWW! What did I do?” Flim said then falls back unconsciously.

The one who actually knocked Flim out was Granny Smith as she held a rolling pin in her hand with Big Mac nearby with a shovel and Apple Bloom.

“Granny, how many times Ah’ve been telling you not to bring a rolling pin with ya’ll.” Applejack said as she and Onyx gathered Flim and Flam.

“Hehehe there ain’t nothin wrong that Ah have something to defend myself with. Especially if it's to protect mah grandchildren and mah future grandson-in-law hehehe.” Granny Smith said, chuckling while waving the rolling pin in her hands.

“Anyway, I’ll call the police and they won’t trouble you and your family for a while.” Onyx said as he took out his phone.

“Ah think yer better can an ambulance as well,” Applejack said.

“Why?”

“Our gig at Hope Hollow was a blast!” Rainbow Dash said.

“Indeed.” Rarity said while manicuring her nails. “I became close with the one who invited us to perform there. What was her name again, Kerfuffle I think? Too bad my boyfriend couldn’t come because he has errands to run.” 

“Again, thank you for giving us a hand with our band equipment and volunteering to be our driver since AJ brother isn’t available.” Twilight Sparkle thanked Frostbite, Pinkie’s boyfriend, who's driving and Eli Blaze, Fluttershy’s boyfriend, who's looking out the window next to his girlfriend.

As they are passing through the freeway, Eli sees something by the barricades as they pass by which happens to be small but…still alive.

“Stop the bus!” Elis said as he stood from his seat.

“What’s wrong?” Fluttershy asked.

“I SAID STOP THE BUS!”

“Hold on Eli, let me just stop it by the side.” Frostbite replies as he drives the tour bus to the side of the freeway.

After stopping by the side of the freeway and turning on the hazard lights of the bus, Eli got off the bus and retraced his steps while staying on the side. Fluttershy who got up from her seat, still confused on why he made them stop as she got off the bus with Rainbow Dash and followed behind him.

“ *snore* *snort* Hey, why did we stop?” Applejack asked after waking up from her nap.

“I have no idea darling.” Rarity replies as she does her other hand.

Meanwhile as the others patiently wait, Fluttershy and Rainbow caught up with Eli who is still walking.

“Eli, wait!” Fluttershy said who is trying to keep up with his pace. “You didn’t tell me yet why you made us stop.”

“I saw something,” Elis said.

“Saw what?”

“I can’t tell since we were going too fast. I need to see it for myself.”

“Excuse me Eli.” Rainbow Dash who got in front of Eli while walking backwards. “But we are not playing a game of eyespy or guessing games. So you better tell us what you saw or we’ll use force to bring you back.”

“If you don’t want to come, you’re free to turn back Rainbow Dash. Also stop walking backwards, you might get sideswiped.”

Fluttershy knows that her boyfriend is serious and doesn't argue back and just simply follows him with Rainbow Dash followed from behind. After a little more walking they stopped at the spot where Eli saw the thing as he pointed to the other side by the barricades as the two girls believed him and did see something small and moving.. 

“It looks like-” Eli said as he used his powers to switch his eyesight to eagle eye to spot the thing by the barricades. “Oh my God, it’s a kitten!”

“Oh no! who would even do such a thing to the poor little thing,” Fluttershy said. “Lucky it didn’t get run over.”

“Well the longer it stays and the sooner we don’t grab it then it goes bye-bye. With all these cars passing by we won’t have enough rooooooooooo-”

Everything all went very slow and what happened is that Rainbow Dash used her own powers to move superfast with everything around her the opposite. She just simply walks over while easily avoiding the slow moving cars and picks up the kitten by the barricades and walks back over the Fluttershy and Eli as she places the kitten in her best friend’s arms.

Before she deactivated her powers, she thought of another thing instead of ending the fun like that. She carries both Fluttershy and Eli back to the bus with no sweat and sees the others doing their own thing while waiting for them to come back. After placing both Fluttershy and Eli in their seats she deviously made some rearrangements with the others before heading back to her seat and deactivating her powers.

“-oom to cross. Anyone have any bright ideas?” Eli asked but then realized he was back in the bus with Fluttershy. “Wait a minute, how did we end up here?”

“I really don’t know?” Fluttershy also wondered.

Soon both of them heard the others screaming as they stood up from their seats to see what happened; Rarity who was originally applying lip balm while Applejack is sleeping next to her, the fashionista without realizing ended up kissing her best friend whose eyes were open as both moved away from each other while wiping their mouths; The book that Twilight was reading was replaced by a men’s a magazine as she quickly threw it away and wondered why an egghead like her is reading something like that; Rainbow messed with the game Sunset is playing on her phone. After returning the phone and getting back to her seat, she could hear Sunset screaming on how she ended up losing the game when she wasn’t earlier; and the cupcake that Pinkie Pie was eating was swapped with the banana from her boyfriend.

“Oh Fluttershy, Eli, both of you are already here.” Rarity said as she finished wiping her mouth. “So what on earth did you three find by the barricades?”

Fluttershy showed them the kitten they found and where in aww and couldn’t imagine that someone would just throw something like this in the middle of the freeway. Eli said to Frostbite once they reach Canterlot City is to drop him and Fluttershy at the animal shelter as he resumes with his driving.


“It needs to be fed, bathed, and checked to see if it has any other conditions once we are at the animal shelter.” 	Fluttershy said as she caressed the kitten’s head who was wrapped and resting on a towel that Rarity lent them then looked at Eli. “Speaking of which, how did we end up back on the bus? Because we were just on the freeway planning on how to get the kitten from the other side.”

“Meh, that doesn’t matter anymore now that you had it.” Rainbow said as she rested on her seat with her hands behind her head.

“It was you, wasn’t it?” Sunset said as Rainbow sees most of them besides Frostbite whose driving while Eli and Fluttershy tends to the kitten had their eyes on her. 

“No it wasn’t.” Rainbow replies only to see Sunset’s hand touching her arm telling she is obviously lying. “I-”

“You’re going to pay for that!”

While the others are busy with their rainbow-haired friend, Eli just simply told Frostbite to continue with his driving and don’t mind the others at the back. Today was really a blast for the Rainbooms especially for one of their members who rescued another animal thanks to Rainbow Dash who was being taught a lesson after that last thing she pulled off.

“If you’re not going to pay attention, why don’t you just leave class. There's only a few minutes left then you can bail out of here.”

“Shut up.”

While Sugarcoat is paying attention, Lemon Zest who was sitting next to her just lazily listens as she rests her head on the lab table. She looks at the wall clock and only a few minutes left before their last class for the day finishes. Even after Dean Cadence took over as the new principal nothing seems to have changed at Crystal Prep Academy, with some students changed and some still remaining who they were before. Nothing extraordinary since the Friendship Games happened here at CPA, until this day…

“Just a few more minutes” Lemon thought while still distracted at the clock.

What all of them in the classroom didn’t realize at the window at the back of the classroom that was opened, Equestrian magic entered through the opened window and placed itself on one of the classroom displays. 

While Lemon still had her eyes somewhere other than paying attention to the teacher, she accidentally knocks her pen off the table as she starts looking for it. Her pen then shows up her left shoulder.

“Thanks man.” Lemon took her pen but upon looking to see it wasn’t Sugarcoat handing her pen but something else. “A-a-ah…S-Sugarcoat.”

“Not now can’t you see I’m busy.” Sugarcoat ignores her friend who won’t stop poking her and stuttering. “If you are going to speak like a monkey I simply won’t understand a single word you’re saying, so spit it out!” 

“S-SKELETON!!”

Sugarcoat and everyone else in the room turned their attention to Lemon Zest to see the skeleton that’s displayed standing next to her as it waved to everyone.

At the same time Principal Cadence was just passing by until she heard screams from inside the science room. It was until the door swung open making the CPA principal flinch and see everything.

“Wait, what is-?” Principal Cadence said as she saw the skeleton ran off with two things as two of her students went after it. “Ms. Lemon Zest, Ms. Sugarcoat what’s going on?”

“Sorry Principal Cadence, it's that magic stuff that’s on our skeleton. Call Twilight!” Lemon Zest yelled as she and Sugarcoat went after it and disappeared at the next corner of the hallway.

“Okay? Not what I’m expecting to see, but I better call Twilight Sparkle about this.”

At the same moment the bell rang and every student got out of the classrooms until the encounter and got out of the way of the running skeleton with Lemon Zest and Sugarcoat not far from it.

“We’ll lose it if you don’t hurry it up and stop clinging on to me four eyes!” Lemon said as her wrist is being held.

“Easy for you to say who should be deaf by now because you should know I can’t even see without my glasses and I won’t let go of you until I get my glasses back,” Sugarcoat said.

“...and my headphones.” Lemon added.


Not so far from them in another hallway are two of their friends who are at their locker doing their own thing

“Sorry to interrupt your fun, deary. But you’re supposed to be paying attention in class, not checking your phone on that date you two had.” Sunny Flare ignored her friends glare as she focused back on her cellphone.

“This ain’t your business because I’m planning on our next date,” Sour Sweet sang at first. “Unlike you, whatever you’re doing with that thing you’re wearing on your wrist.”

“It’s my schedule planner that Night Star made just to let you know. First I thought it would be in the way because on how heavy it is than a simple watch, but then I find it rather useful since this thing also has a watch and-”

“HEY, GET BACK HERE WITH OUR STUFF!”

The two ladies then heard a familiar voice to see their friends going after a skeleton to their surprise as they passed by them. Not what they are expecting to see but then realized that the things they had were also taken.

“MY PHONE!” Sour angrily yelled and went after them.

“That thing took my Pip-boy-I mean my schedule planner!” Sunny followed from behind.


They chased the skeleton from the second floor down to the ground floor of the school. Not being aware of what's going on the chase is being led to a group of students of the soccer club as they follow their team captain who was also the top athlete of Crystal Prep.

“Another day of practice means another day of training hard to win hard!” The obnoxious yet optimistic Indigo Zap said as she led the soccer club. “So who's the best?”

“SHADOWBOLTS!” The soccer team replies as they follow their team captain as she faces them.

“Not loud enough! Again, who’s-” Before she could finish something fast pass by in front of her followed by her friends until she realized the same thing that her signature goggles she wears on her head were just taken away from her. “...going to go after whatever that took my goggles-Nevermind, you guys go ahead I’ll catch up.” Indigo left the soccer club confused on what’s going on as she managed to catch up with her friends. “So, what did I miss?”

“Oh it's nothing important,” Sour Sweet sarcastically said. “Except for the fact that a skeleton stole our stuff!”

“It must have been affected by that magic Twilight others encounter, finally something strange is happening around here!” Lemon Zest said without even caring about their scenario. “Get back here because we got a bone to pick with you!”

“This is serious Lemon!” Sugarcoat scolds as she maintains clinging on to her. “We are not going to make the same mistake we did last time and try to catch it until Twilight and her friends do something about it and not a good time for puns!”

“On it!” Indigo ran faster to try to catch up with the skeleton. Not for long it entered a room. “We got you now!”

Indigo followed it inside with her friend behind her. They didn’t realize that the room they entered was full of boys. A lot of screaming came from inside as the girls immediately got out with their faces all red except for Sugarcoat who can’t even see but guessed what really happened.

“We entered the boys locker room and the one who entered first didn’t even get to read the sign. Well, how lucky of me that I’m not wearing my glasses,”  Sugarcoat confidently blurted in relief.

“Yes, how lucky you are,” Sour Sweet said, annoyed as her eye twitched. “If it wasn’t for someone’s ignorance, forgetting what I saw won’t be that easy. I’m such a horrible girlfriend…NOW I CAN’T GET MARRIED ANYMORE!”

The skeleton then came out of the locker room wearing one of the uniforms it stole from the boys as they went after it into another room that’s next to the previous one. 

“Hey wait a minute.” Lemon Zest stopped in front of the room as her friend went inside. “We can’t go in there, it's for girls only.”

“We are girls deary and this is the girls locker room, now get in here stupid and help us!” Sunny Flare yelled from inside.

“Oh, right.”

The sounds of girls screaming came from inside and just then, the skeleton came out and ran off. The five girls also came out of the room and went after it, not after one of the female students screamed that it stole something from her.

Not wanting for it to go too far with or without the help of the Rainbooms, the five Shadowbolts must put an end to this chase before more things get stolen. Thinking that it would just be a running pile of bones that loves to steal stuff, they were wrong.

“Duck!” Indigo yells as she and her friends evade a book the skeleton took from a student as they resume the chase. “Duck!” The girls then dodged a basketball it threw after taking it from one male student. The skeleton exited through the main entrance of the school which is bad news once it escapes to the outside world, it will be long gone as it taunts the girls. “Moose!”

“Really Indigo?” Sugarcoat said. 

“Look!”

If things couldn’t get any weirder as the skeleton moved to the middle of the road while busy taunting the girls, it wasn’t paying attention to the incoming moose as it got hit and was knocked into pieces. They were also surprised to see the ones riding on the moose are none other than Twilight Sparkle and upfront is Fluttershy. 

“And here I thought we are playing duck duck goose-”

“NOT NOW LEMON!” Indigo, Sunny, Sour and Sugarcoat cut her off.

“Sorry if we were late. I had to drop by the animal shelter for a new collar for Spike until I got a call from Cadence and-” Twilight immediately approached her former schoolmates and then realized what she and Fluttershy’s ride just hit and used a device to detect Equestrian magic. “It seems like the magic was still there when the skeleton was whole but now it's in pieces, the magic wore off already.”

“So, I guess we don’t need to call the others then.” Fluttershy put her cell phone away and turned her attention to the moose she’s riding as she rubbed its neck. “Good job Eli, even though it was a happy accident.”

After a while Twilight and Fluttershy rode off on the moose and left the five Shadowbolts who are also confused on where they got the moose. Some gathered all the bones of the skeleton as the rest picked up the stolen belongings as they headed inside.

“Okay so headphones for Lemon, Sour Sweet’s phone, my goggles, Sunny’s pipboy-”

“Stop calling it a pipboy and give me that!” Sunny grabbed her schedule planner from Indigo who is handing everyones stuff back.

“Oookay? Next is Sugarcoat’s glasses.” The next belonging Indigo has is a male school uniform “I wonder who this belongs to?”

“That’s mine.”

Trenderhoof appeared from the crowd only wearing a towel to cover his lower area as the girls diverted their eyes away as he took his uniform back and returned to the locker room. As everyone else went back to what they were doing leaving the five Shadowbolts, there was also one last item that was stolen which is the most awkward of them all.

“Oh Sour Sweet why would you even wear something naughty like this especially if your-” 

“That bra isn’t mine!” Sour Sweet yelled at Indigo Zap as she covered her chest area with her arms. “Seriously, that ain’t even my size.”

“I don’t think this belongs to Principal Cadence-” Indigo just held the piece of undergarment guessing who this belongs to until she felt someone tapping on her shoulder as she turned around. “Yeah?”

*SLAP!*

“Don’t hold it for everyone to see!” Fleur de Lis slapped Indigo in the face and immediately swiped the bra from Indigo’s hand and quickly walked away while her other arm was covering her bust the entire time.

“Well thanks for the slap, not even a simple ‘thank you’.” Indigo touched the part Fleur slapped. “OWW?!”

The rest of the girls held their laughter then went back to the part where they needed to reassemble the skeleton as they headed back to the science room.

“Hey, since this is the first time something like this happens here and got to admit, it was pretty fun. Let’s do that again,” Lemon said.

“NO!!” The four immediately disagree with her.

Another day at Canterlot City was used to be just some ordinary place until Equestrian magic came to the human world and it's up to seven girls ‘The Rainbooms’ to put a stop to it. Although just recently and today there are no signs of magic activity, the girls didn’t keep their guards down and to make things easier for them a group of boys who Princess Twilight dubbed the ‘Guardians’ are there to assist them at times.

At Canterlot Mall while people are doing their own thing, one person who works part-time at a hardware store is done with his shift. As he heads out he is met by someone who is very close to him that also works here but at a different store is none other than his egghead girlfriend.

“Twilight, what are you doing here?” Night Star asked.

“Oh nothing, just waiting for my egghead boyfriend to be done with his shift,” Twilight Sparkle replies. “Anyway I’m going to meet up with the girls. Maybe you want to join us?”

“Sorry but I’m busy with something right now and I need to head home right away.”

“Really, again? I mean I don't know what you’re working on that you get to miss hanging out with me. Maybe I can help you with whatever you’re doing?”

“It’s fine, don't worry. I’ll make up for it next time, I promise. No, Pinkie Promise. How did it go again? ”

Twilight had second thoughts about her special someone's actions. But after what he did for her in the past even though he may be an evil genius, she knows he is a good person and trusts him.

They are now currently at the boys restroom while Twilight waits outside after reminding him of the Pinkie Promise and literally sticks a cupcake that he had in his bag into his eye as he washes his face up. He then got out after finishing cleaning himself as his girlfriend reminded him that his bag was hanging open. What caught the nerd’s eyes is a container with something yellow glowing from inside.

“What’s inside that?” Twilight asked.

“Uh fireflies.” Night responds after closing his bag. “Just some experiment I have in mind, don’t worry about it.”

Later after Twilight and Night Star went their separate ways she met up with her friends. Just before their plans for the day started she ends up mentioning about inviting her boyfriend and the fireflies he has, much to Fluttershy’s horror on what he is planning to do with the little things. With a change of plans they all arrive Night Star’s place.

“I’m pretty sure he knows what he is doing, Fluttershy,” Twilight said.

“After telling us your history with him before and after transferring to Canterlot High, I have bad feelings about him having those fireflies.” Fluttershy said, determined as she and the others are standing at the front door as she knocks on it only for no one to answer. “No one’s home?”

“Maybe his parents aren't the ones around and he could be at the backyard if he is not in his room, he should have answered the door right away.”

Twilight led them through the side of the house until they reach the backyard and points to a large shed only for the door to be locked that no one really is around since her boyfriend’s ATV isn’t here either.

“RAINBOW DASH NO!” Twilight quickly uses her powers to stop Rainbow Dash from throwing a rock at the shed’s window leaving the rock itself floating in midair. “What do you think you’re doing?”

“I was thinking of going through the window easily since we cannot use the door,” Rainbow Dash said without even thinking about the consequences. “Or I could enter the window then open the door for everyone else to get in.”

“Right break the window and it clearly shows us trespassing on someone's property so that is a big NO.”

“I’m sorry Twilight but whatever he is planning to do with those poor little things I will not let that happen. Stand back everyone, I'll dig our way in and this might get a bit messy.” Fluttershy found a shovel nearby and just as she was about to use it, the shovel was immediately taken away from her by Twilight’s telekinesis.

“Sorry Fluttershy, I can’t let you do that either.”

“Maybe there is a chimney that we can enter?” Pinkie Pie asks as she climbs a ladder she found only for Twilight to pull her off it using her powers.

“The only other way in is through the other door but it can only be open from the inside.”

“Ah could just lift the shed itself then we can go underneath it without getting dirty if y'all want?” Applejack suggested as she began cracking her fist wanting to do it.

“NO, WE ARE NOT DOING ANY CRAZY IDEAS!” Twilight screamed then slowly took deep breaths to rephrase what she said. “All of those you suggested are clearly trespassing. You guys are suggesting the exact same ideas like what happened with Sunset’s key to the storage locker that she left at school during our winter break. Before any of you start doing anything that we might regret, I’m calling Night Star and-”

“Done.”

Before Twilight could call her boyfriend someone already pulled something off to get in. The egghead turns around to see Sunset Shimmer standing in front of the shed’s door that is already opened.

“How?” Twilight asked with her mouth hanging open.

“Bobby pins…lock pick…easy…duh!” Sunset replies and Twilight didn’t say anything and just face palmed herself while slowly moving her head left and right. “I mean Night Star is our friend and he is your lover, I don’t think he will mind.”

“Let’s just get those fireflies before I flip.”

“Thank you.”

Sunset and the others entered the shed after returning the bobby she borrowed from Rarity leaving the fashionista and their egghead friend outside in disbelief.

“I still couldn’t believe that Sunset could pull something off like that,” Rarity said. “I even forgot to thank her for helping me with the window display last time. Luckily she wasn’t even caught after breaking into the boutique.”

“What did you say Rarity?” Twilight asked, still distracted on Sunset.

“Oh nothing darling. Anyway, we should get those fireflies since it's rude for us to barge into someone else’s place like that.”

The two followed the others into the shed that’s a bit messy. Rarity wants to make sure everything is in order, meaning to touch Night Star’s stuff but Twilight refuses. Then they see NIght Stars bag on a nearby workbench making Fluttershy rush over to retrieve his bag and take out the container Twilight saw. Before Flutters could open it, she then realized inside the container aren’t fireflies but something else which they fear as the device that Night Star and Twilight invented that can track any signs of Equestrian magic is also on the workbench and starts to beep.

“Uhm Twilight isn’t this-?” Fluttershy showed her friend the container.

“Based on the tracker that is beeping,” Twilight grabbed the device from the table and pointed it to the container. “This is none other than Equestrian magic!”

“Hey guys, come and see this!” Rainbow Dash called out to her friends as she found something inside a large cooler nearby, though she could grab a drink only to find more containers of Equestrian magic. “I remember seeing some Equestrian magic flying near the skatepark one day. I was following it until I tripped and lost sight of it and that is when Night Star was also there with a leaf blower for odd reason. I bet he managed to catch it before it did something.”

“Ah bet this must be the one he used.” Applejack found a leaf blower that was rigged with an empty container attached to it which Rainbow recognized as the exact same one Night Star had that day.

“It doesn’t make sense why he would collect these based on what we’ve experienced.” Twilight said as she held the container Fluttershy found in the bag.

“I’m afraid you will all find out about this.”

They all turned around to see Night Star standing in front of the door, surprised to see his girlfriend and her friends inside his shed which he swore that he locked up before he left for a while. He then explained that instead of destroying the items being affected by Equestrian magic, why not take it from their holders or even create ones they can use for their advantage rather than being misused by others who have no idea what they’re doing or going overboard.



“And you never even told me about this?” Twilight asked.

“If I did then you will obviously disapprove of it. I will also not make the same mistake you did before during the Friendship Games when you stored all of their magic inside your pendant as in combining them must have some sort of bad chain reaction that wasn’t a good idea which is why Midnight Sparkle was born and still lurks inside that head of yours. To avoid that from happening again I safely stored each magic I gathered in separate containers.”

“Well I’m sorry Mr. Obvious, if I had no idea what Equestrian magic was before until I knew what it is.”

“Now we all know that ‘Over Curiosity may lead to bad outcomes’. Which is why I don’t want you to get involved with making that same error.”

“But that is exactly what I’m saying. You already lost an arm. The next thing is that you will lose another part of your body.”

“She’s right darling,” Rarity got in between. “There is nothing wrong with someone being concerned. I hope you had some experiments that didn’t go wrong.”

“You’re wrong. If you notice the trash can that is full at the font of our house, those are my failed experiments. I was actually planning to work on a power suit for Spike after he asked on wanting to be part of the action.” Night Star then handed a paper slip. “That is a slip with Spike already signed it with his paw print. Now I just need your signature so if anything happens to Spike or you, I will not get sued or even arrested after this.”

“You know what I think?” Twilight just smiled back at Night Star and after closing her eyes, she instantly ripped the slip as she threw the pieces in the air. “No.”

“I thought you might do that, because that was just a photocopy.” Night then took out another one. “This is the original one.”

Twilight had enough and immediately swiped the slip from her boyfriend and put it inside her mouth as she planned to swallow it much to the disapproval from her friends and Night Star as they stopped her from doing so and he changed his mind on his plans on Spike. Sunset and the others made a majority decision that she, Twilight and Night Star will be in charge of this project. Pinkie Pie named the project ‘S.C.M.’ meaning ‘Secure.Contain.Magic.’ after basing it on a horror game Sunset and Dusk Eyes played.

“Now with that over I say we should get a bite to eat. I'm starving.” Rainbow Dash said as her stomach began to growl.

Night Star then approaches a shelf and brings back with him a pizza box and lays it on a table only for it to be empty. After placing his hands back on the box, a pizza then appears out of nowhere as the girls are impressed.

“Problem solved.” Before Night Star could take a slice, Twilight slapped his hand.

“Is it even safe to eat it?” She asked.

“This is my first experiment that went well and it's safe to eat. I tried it then Spike also took a bite when you left him with me last time.”

“I’ll pretend you never said that last part.”

They remember that Fluttershy isn’t a meat lover as Rainbow Dash brought back a plate from NIght Star’s house and transferred the pizza on it. After whispering the pizza that Flutters wanted, the shy one placed her hands on the box and immediately a spinach and cheese pizza popped out of nowhere in it.

“Maybe having this S.C.M. project isn’t such a bad idea after all.” Sunset said after taking a slice and bite from the previous pizza.
