Choral performance from the Annual Hearth's Warming Eve Holiday Concert in Ponyville.
It's Hearth's Warming Eve once again, and everypony in Ponyville has been looking forward to enjoying events showcased during the festive holiday season. One of these events is the annual Hearth's Warming Eve Holiday Concert, featuring a selection of musical pieces that relate to the holiday.
Presented here will be a selection of four carols performed by a chorus of four ponies:
Limonella Citrus (Soprano; a mare unicorn pony), Lupi (Alto; a mare unicorn pony), Heroic Armour (Tenor; a stallion unicorn pony), and Slide Fortissimo (Bass; a stallion pegasus pony). Pictured in the cover photo is Heroic Armour and Slide Fortissimo singing a duet from the concert.

A few weeks before the annual concert, Slide Fortissimo had just finished typing a letter on his typewriter, proposing the concert to be presented on the evening of Hearth's Warming Eve in Ponyville:
Dear Mayor Mare,
For many moons, the land of Equestria has been known to have a festive atmosphere leading up to the holiday of Hearth’s Warming Eve. Of the many events that occur during the holiday, there is a performance of the founding of Equestria held in the town of Ponyville. On one occasion, there was a performance featuring a principal cast consisting of Spike, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Princess Twilight Sparkle.
Another event that should take place during the holiday season is the annual Hearth’s Warming Eve Holiday Concert. Featuring a chorus of four ponies, they will sing a selection of carols for all to enjoy. The evening performance will take place on a stage near the Ponyville Town Hall, with a decorated holiday tree located nearby as the backdrop for the singers.
This year’s annual concert will feature the following ponies:
Limonella Citrus (Soprano)
Lupi (Alto)
Heroic Armour (Tenor)
Slide Fortissimo (Bass)

The profiles of the ponies that will be singing are as follows:
Limonella Citrus is a green unicorn pony that lives on a farm located in the outskirts of the City of Canterlot. Comfortably adjusted to her farm lifestyle, she only uses her magic occasionally, acting more like an earth pony than a unicorn. However, she is more than happy and lucky to have plenty of friends. Limonella is currently in a romantic relationship with Heroic Armour, who are both proud parents of an orange unicorn filly.
Lupi is a green unicorn pony, who loves to draw traditional and painted artwork. As a freelance artist, she provides a creative style to her artwork that can showcase a character in the best way possible. She finds the holiday to be her favorite time of the year, embracing the fact that the first snowfall leading up to the holiday can be a blank canvas with so many possibilities. Lupi currently resides with and is in a romantic relationship with her coltfriend, Snoopy. It is made very clear that her coltfriend is not a dog, but a very handsome and caring gentlepony.
Heroic Armour is a light brown unicorn pony. Known for wearing his signature outfit of The Red Mage, he is currently in a romantic relationship with Limonella Citrus.
Slide Fortissimo is a red pegasus pony. Principal Trombone of the Royal Canterlot Orchestra and known for his jazz compositions featured in the Ponyville Jazz Ensemble, he admires and looks forward to the holiday season. Slide Fortissimo resides in Canterlot and considers his twin brother Green Screen from Ponyville as his best friend.

There was plenty of snow on the ground in the town of Ponyville on the evening of Hearth’s Warming Eve when the annual concert was just about to begin. In the week leading up to the concert, Slide had received a letter from Mayor Mare, saying that the concert can be scheduled, giving him permission for the chorus to sing at the Ponyville Town Hall as well. During the week, Slide and his friends rehearsed the songs with ease, feeling confident that they will sound absolutely awesome.
Making their way to the stage that evening, they noticed that a decent sized audience had shown up to see the performance and were excited to hear the songs that the choir had rehearsed only a few weeks before the holiday. Lining up on stage facing the audience from left to right, Limonella Citrus, Lupi, Heroic Armour, and Slide Fortissimo, wearing their winter scarfs and hoof coverings to keep themselves warm, were ready to perform. A beautifully decorated holiday tree stood at the rear center of the stage in between Lupi and Heroic Armour. Two choral books were being shared by the four ponies, with Slide and Heroic holding one book with one hoof each while Lupi and Limonella held open the other book in the same manner. Slide Fortissimo glanced at his three friends and felt happy to know that they were going to give one of the finest performances of carols for everypony to enjoy. Clearing his throat, he turned to address the audience. In the audience, Slide Fortissimo could see his twin brother, Lupi's coltfriend, and an orange unicorn filly that was happy to see her parents who will be singing during the concert.
“Fillies and Gentlecolts, it is my pleasure to present you with this year’s annual Hearth’s Warming Eve Concert!”
The audience cheered and stomped their hooves with glee.
“Our first song is called It’s a Pony Kind of Christmas, with Limonella on Soprano, Lupi on Alto, Heroic on Tenor, and myself on Bass."
Looking back at his friends, he smiled as with a swift movement from his right wing to start the song, the chorus began to sing:

With the first song complete, the audience immediately erupted in applause and cheers. It was a wonderful way to start off the annual holiday concert. Limonella, Lupi, Heroic, and Slide all took a bow as the audience continued their applause until they were ready to hear the next song in the program.
"Thank you everypony!" Slide exclaimed. "It's so nice to see you all here for this performance."
"Absolutely," said Limonella. "Being here with my friends is a wonderful feeling indeed."
"Of course Limonella," replied Heroic, who was happy to sing with his friends. "Anyway, Lupi and Limonella will be taking a break while Slide and I sing the next song."
"Have fun!" shouted Lupi with excitement as she and Limonella stepped carefully off the stage.
