> *Romance Revelation* > by Uknikorn > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > *Romance Revelation* > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- One day, in Equestria,...an argument erupted in the Zephyr Heights castle. ~Zipp and Pipp both love Hitch Trailblazer~ Pipp’s reason? Hitch is handsome, strong and kind. Amazing in so many ways~BUT Pipp doesn't know that Izzy and Sunny are dating, and thinks Sunny may have a crush on him. Sunny probably has better chances with Hitch, and even if Pipp beats her to it, then Sunny could become devastated. Pipp wouldn't want to see Hitch actually CHOOSE Sunny over her because the truth is hard to face. Zipp’s reasons? They understand each other better than the other 3 in the group. They are are less down to earth. She wants someone to be at the same level as her and to partner and cooperate with. He’s cute, anyway~BUT she knows Pipp feels the same about Hitch and the only pony Zipp cares about more than Hitch is Pipp, and she doesn't want to ruin that, so Zipp has been keeping quiet about her feelings. Anyway, they kind of both just had their whole confrontation thing that siblings do. As for Hitch, well, the they can’t both have him,...so what to do? Go to Sunny StarScout. Even though the sisters were flying to the same place, they took their separate ways. In the meantime, at Sunny’s house, Izzy and Sunny were having lunch together. “Thanks again for coming over for lunch. We had a great time making it together.” Sunny said as she looked at the mess that was her kitchen. They kind of got carried away with the ingredients and made a bit of a mess. “It’s even better because you are here.” Izzy said before she kissed her marefriend. Yes. They have been dating for a brief amount of time, but they were happy. The thing is,..they have not come out to their friends yet. Sunny and Izzy don't have a specific reason why, but they haven't yet. “Hey, do you remember that I had announced that  you, me and our friends are going to meet and have a picnic lunch 2 days from now?” Izzy asked. “Yeah,…seaking of our friends, I think we should tell them at the picnic. I mean, they are our friends. I am sure they’ll be understanding. Besides, it seems like a better idea than just tracking them down and then telling them out of the blue like that.” Sunny said calmly. “I know, it’s just hard to think of a good way to stop and tell them something so significant.” Izzy said. “We can think about all of that the next time, okay?” Sunny said as she led Izzy to the door. “Bye.” Izzy sing-songed after giving Sunny a brief kiss and hug. “Bye.” Sunny sing-songed back, waving goodbye. Sunny  turned around and went back inside her house. Sunny was about to clean up her kitchen before she heard something. “Sunny!” Pipp yelled. “Yes?” Sunny responded. “Sunny!” Zipp yelled just as loudly. “Yes?” Sunny responded. They filled her in on what they were feeling. “Well,...this is quite the predicament.” Sunny said, surprised they brought this to her. Sunny never really considered herself the one a pony would come to for this sort of thing. “Why did you come to me?” “Because you have known Hitch longer than any of us!” Pipp exclaimed. “Yeah, you know him better than us, and would know the sort of things he's into and the things that mean the most to him. You know, the stuff that'll make him like us more.” Zipp said, slightly annoyed. “Then we can build off of that and we’ll see who Hitch likes better so that way we will know the truth.” Pipp said, Zipp nodded. Sunny blinked. “I guess I do know a few things that could increase your chances,...” Sunny said, deciding to just say her piece then move along, trusting the sisters to handle this mostly on their own. “Yeah, what’s the way to his heart?” Pipp asked. Sunny thought for a moment. “Well, I think the most important part about love is adoration and cooperation. I think a huge part of that is understanding what is most important for each other.” “So what does that mean for Hitch?” The sisters asked at the same time, both standing on the ends of their hooves. Sunny looked them both in the eyes with sincerity as she said, “The most important thing to Hitch community. Ponies being there for eachother and keeping each other safe and happy. That’s why he became sheriff.” “So, you’re saying we do some charity stuff or something like that?” Pipp asked. “I guess.” Sunny said. The picnic came before Pipp and Zipp came up with a more concrete plan. At the picnic, Izzy had brough sandwiches and smoothies. Everypony was kind of being awkward because well you already know~ “Yeah, we should just watch the clouds move.” Pipp laid herself by Hitch. She probably would have tried to hold his hoof if Zipp had not stopped her. “Hey Pipp, can we talk for a moment.” Zipp said through clenched teeth. “We are talking.” Pipp said flatly. “In private” Zipp clarified as she grabbed Pipp and brought her away from the picnic. Hitch looked at them in confusion, but decided to return his attention to Izzy and Sunny. “Well that was kind of odd.” Hitch commented softly. Sunny knew what was going on, but she decided to remain out of it. “Maybe we should just hang out more to get back into our groove. Everypony is sure to be back to normal within the next time we meet.” Izzy chimed happily before taking a bite out of a sandwich. “Well, in a few days, a charity event will happen and I already signed up to help. We can all work together during that.” Hitch said before Pipp rushed beside him. “Sign me up for that! Charity! I love charity! Charity~” Pipp sang. Hitch raised an eyebrow. “Yeah, I’ll come too.” Zipp said, trying to retain her cool even though she was getting increasingly frustraited with her sister. “Okay.” Hitch said, shrugging. ~*~ The sisters woke up early because they were ready to go to the charity event and impress Hitch. All 5 of the friends arrived around the same time. Hitch was ready to get work, and Sunny and Izzy were wondering if this was the right time to come out. No no, maybe near the end? They still were unsure. Basically, they all kept not paying attention and leaving to ask eachother "What the heck?" This left Hitch on his own to do most of the work, which after the mess that just happened, it didn't bother him that much. A while later, the 4 females walked back in the building. Hitch suddenly popped up before them. “Where have you all been?” Hitch asked, obviously agitated. “Uh,..girl talk?” the 4 females said in unison. “Okay, no. All of you keep going off to do “girl talk’ and leaving me alone during times when we are supposed to be together. I’ve had it. You know what? We are going to have some ‘friend talk’  now.” The others just stared at him as he instructed they all sit down and talk. They sat down. Hitch sighed. “We are close friends, but I feel left out. You are all being secretive and distant. Each time I ask ‘what’s up?’ or if you guys are okay, you guys act strange then go off on your own.”  “Me and Izzy are dating.” Sunny blurted. Hitch turned to them. “That’s great!” “Yeah, sorry we were being so secretive, it’s just we couldn't think of a good way to come out to you all.” Izzy said. “We had a tiny amount of doubt, but we kept putting it off and did one of those things were once you do your thing it feels hard in some way.” Hitch nodded in understanding. “Thanks for telling us. Although, I would like a word with Zipp and Pipp,...alone.”  Izzy and Sunny nodded and went on their way, feeling like a weight was lifted off their chests. Unfortunately, Zipp and Pipp felt the exact opposite. “So what’s going on?” Hitch asked quietly. Zipp and Pipp looked at each other, took a deep breath and just outright said it~ Hitch blinked. “I,..I dont know what to say. Honestly, I will neither accept or reject either of you. I am sorry,...I do care about both of you, but-” “-Not like that.” Zipp finished softly. Hitch nodded. “Yeah,...” Hitch then explained that Hitch does not accept or reject either of the sisters because choosing one of them will cause the other to be very upset and it will wreck the friend circle they have going on. Another thing would be them being fairly young this kind of thing anyway. He also wants to hold off on things like love anyway because he’s busy fixing the Sprout incident and he still wants to continue focusing heavily on helping the community. The sisters stared at him blankly. Good thing they were already sitting down or else there may have been an issue. “I hope we can still remain friends though.” Hitch said.  “Of course.” The two pegasus replied quietly. Hitch nodded and walked to go join Izzy and Sunny. “I guess that’s the end of that.” Zipp murmured. “You know what? This whole thing got blown out of proportion. I think most of this was driven by our sibling competition stuff.” “I'm so glad that's all settled.” Zipp responded. “Now THAT’S a ‘heart-to-heart moment there.” Pipp said, pulling out her phone and taking a selfie as Zipp rolled her eyes. The end.
