> A Caring Kirin > by Phantom-Dragon > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Meet The Kirin Queen – Rain Shine > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- You find yourself in a wide open meadow. The birds are chirping. A soft wind is blowing through the trees. You hear the sound of hoof steps approaching. The sound gets louder and louder, until they're close enough to you. You look and find yourself face-to-face with a beautiful Kirin. She’s just as beautiful as the Princesses of Equestria. Rain Shine says, "Oh! こんにちは。(Konnichi wa.) What's a little creature like you doing out here?" Rain Shine says, "You heard about us from Applejack and Fluttershy? And you've been wanting to visit us? To see our village and our way of life? Well, let me be the first to welcome you to our humble abode. I am Rain Shine, the leader of the kirins. And you are?" Rain Shine says, "That's a lovely name. It is a pleasure to meet you. Come with me. I'll get the tea ready for us." Later, you are in the Kirin Village with Rain Shine. The sounds of laughter and chatting can be heard outside of house. You turn and look to see Rain Shine is performing what is referred to as the Tea Ceremony. She is levitating the utensils and ingredients as she does the ceremony. Rain Shine says, "I have to say, it's nice of you to come. We don't usually get so many visitors. You could say that, up until Applejack and Fluttershy came to solve our problem, we've always been...remote. So, please don't be too...intimidated by our appearances, or our customs. I know we may not look like ponies, but we are...in some ways." Rain Shine says, "You think we're all fascinating creatures?" (Giggles) "どうもありがとうございます! (Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu!)" Rain Shine levitates a cup of tea to you, while levitating one up for herself. She bows her head as she does so, with you returning the gesture. Rain Shine says, "Here. Have some tea....I hope you like green tea." Rain Shine says, "Oh. You like it? Is it delicious?" (Giggles) "ありがとう! (arigatō!)" Rain Shine says, "What is in it? It's a special powder we called matcha. It comes from the leaves we grow here. We use it for all of our green teas. Can't find it anywhere else in Equestria or beyond." Rain Shine says, "So...how are you enjoying your stay at our village? Do you like it here?" Rain Shine says, "I'm glad you like it! And I hope you enjoy your stay here in our village. How long do you plan to stay here?" Rain Shine says, "For a whole week? Well, I hope we can make it all worthwhile then." Rain Shine says, "Hmmm? Is something the matter? Y-Your-Your face...it's turning red. Oh dear. You're not getting sick, are you? Is it an allergy reaction? Are you allergic to tea? Oh no...I'm sorry. I didn't...Oh? You're not sick? Oh, thank Faust. You're alright. I was a little worried there." Rain Shine makes a nervous chuckle, before she says, "I'm sorry you had to see me a little worked up. I...It's been a long time since we've had visitors, I...And I really want to make a good first impression, y'know?" Rain Shine says, "I guess we've all had those sort of...how do you say? Awkward phases?" Rain Shine says, (Giggles and takes a dainty sip of her tea) "Anyway, tell me about yourself. What do you do for a living? Where did you come from? What are you passions in life?" Rain Shine says, "Oh! That all sounds lovely. You are quite the unique type of creature." Rain Shine says, "Me? Well, as I've already told you, I'm the leader of the kirins in this village. I look after everyone as if they're my children. I try to make sure everyone's in order, and stay out of trouble. Though, sometimes...my solutions did more harm than good." Rain Shine says, "What do I mean by that? Well...it was many moons ago, when in the village, an argument broke out between a couple of kirins. Things escalated very fast. And before I knew it, all of the kirins were turned into niriks. Fiery creatures of destruction, anger, and hatred." (Nervous chuckles) "はい。(Hai.) Scary fact is...when we get angry, we...turn into, what is called...a nirik." Rain Shine says, "Anyway...after that...ahem, temper tantrum we've just experienced, we worked to rebuild our village exactly the way it was, but...at the cost of our voices." (Sips her tea) Rain Shine says, "What do I mean by that, exactly? Well...long story short. We realized words can be a curse. To avoid anymore hurt feelings...I declared there to be no more talking. So...we stepped into the Stream of Silence to cool our emotions...and gave up our voices...forever." Rain Shine says, "Looking back on it. It seems rather ridiculous, I know. But thankfully, Applejack, Fluttershy, and one of our own, Autumn Blaze, all worked together and found the solution to our problem. And they were right. We can't give up our emotions, or our voices, just because we're scared of a little pain. And like Autumn Blaze says...or sings. Rainbows won't light up the sky unless you let it rain..." Rain Shine lets out a deep sigh, and says, "But still...I wished we had learned that sooner. A long time ago...I was a terrible leader back then." Rain Shine says, "Hmm? You don't think I'm terrible? That's sweet of you to say, but...it's the truth. I made a bad decision, and I've paid the price for it...with my little kirins." Rain Shine says, "Oh? はい。(Hai.) We're not perfect, like you said. As a leader, we only do what we thought was for the best of our people's future. We make mistakes now and then, but we learned from them...and we become a better version of ourselves..." (Giggles) "You're right. I can't sulk about the past all the time. I have to keep moving forward for a better future. Because for what it's worth, I want to share this life to the rest of the world. To show them what we the kirins have to offer." Rain Shine says, "Thank you. I'm glad I had this talk with you. It's nice to...how do you say? Vent now and then?" Rain Shine giggles, "It's amazing. Isn't it? We've only known each other for what? An hour or so? But it already felt as if we've known each other for a long time." Rain Shine says, "Well...I hope you enjoyed the tea. I'll show you to where you will be staying for the nights. Speaking of which, I...would you be interested on an outing with me, later tonight?" Rain Shine says, "You will? やったー!(Yatta ̄ !)" Rain Shine says, "What? My face is red? No!" (Giggles) "I'm not sick!" It is night time. The crickets are chirping as you walk out of the house to meet with Rain Shine. Rain Shine says, "こんばんは。(Konbanwa.) Good evening." Rain Shine says, "Oh? I'm glowing?" (Giggles) "Thank you. I...My eyes? What about my eyes?" Rain Shine giggles, "Oh. They shine like stars? Like diamonds in the sky you say? Thank you." (Blushes) "You look amazing as well. Anyway, come with me. I want to show you something." You follow Rain Shine up to the mountaintops. The sounds of crickets chirping grew fainter and fainter the higher you climb, replaced by the soft winds blowing as you reach the top. Rain Shine says, "Isn't this spectacular? Every night, I like to come up to the top of the mountains all the time, to look down on the world, to feel myself at peace with the serenity the night has to offer. It's relaxing. Calming. And beautiful." Rain Shine says, "Oh? You think I'm beautiful as well?" (Giggles) "Stop it. You're making me blush." Rain Shine says, "Still...why did they ever call these mountains the Perilous Peaks? Here, we call them the Heaven's Towers. Because when I'm up here, I feel as if I can just touch the sky! I've always loved this feeling ever since I was just a little foal." (Takes in a deep breath) Rain Shine says, "You know. It's strange...but I believe it's fate that we meet...and bring out the best in each other." Rain Shine says, "Hmmm? Oh. I don't know about beautiful, I..." (Giggles) "Stop it. All this flattering is just too much. I can't." Rain Shine says,"You're not flattering? You really think I am beautiful? Even after hearing about...my mistake?" Rain Shine says, "I guess it does make sense. The darker our mistakes are, the brighter our realizations are...and it shows our inner beauty, inside-out." Rain Shine says, "Hmm? You...want to...Of course! I don't mind a hug." (Sounds of hugging) "I feel soft and warm to you?" (Giggles) "That's all part of being a kirin for you." (Yawns) "Oh wow. I didn't realize we were out so late. Let's get back down and sleep for the night." You follow Rain Shine back down the mountain to the village, where the crickets are still singing their songs. Both you and Rain Shine walk together, but to her house, and walked in together. Rain Shine says, "Thank you again for spending the night with me." (Kisses) "Good night." > Morning > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The birds were chirping outside. The sound of hoof steps are heard, on the wooden floorboards of the house. A door opens up as Rain Shine steps into the room. Rain Shine says, "お早うございます!(Ohayōgozaimasu!) Did you have a pleasant sleep?" Rain Shine says, "とても良いです。(Totemo yoidesu.) Well, go and get yourself cleaned up. It's a brand new day today, and I've made breakfast." Rain Shine takes her leave, with the sounds of her hoof steps walking down the stairs. You got up and cleaned yourself up in a restroom. You walk downstairs and hear her humming a song, until she sees you. Rain Shine says, "これらはお菓子です。(Korera wa okashidesu.) These are the sweets. Please, have some. Enjoy. And I hope you like steamed rice. They are a delicacy here in our land. And we fashion them into what we call an onigiri. It's...'Kirinese' for 'rice ball.' Oh, and the soup with the tofu is called a miso soup. I hope you enjoy them." Rain Shine giggles, "Are they really that delicious?" Rain Shine says, "Thank you. I...I was worried about my cooking. A lot of my little kirins around here would say that my cooking are fantastic. But I don't know if they meant it, or are just saying it so as to not hurt my feelings. But hearing it from another creature like you...it's a huge relief for me." Rain Shine says, "...Gordon who?" Rain Shine says, "Oh. He's a famous chef from wherever you come from." Rain Shine says, "I see. He travels around the world, to hotels or restaurants that are...suffering. And he tries out their services and foods to find the problem, before he helps them...even if he comes off as harsh." Rain Shine says, "He's tough, but fair...like J. Jonah Who?" Rain Shine says, "すみません。(Sumimasen.) But you seem to know a lot of creatures. Do you travel a lot?" Rain Shine says, "Well, it must've been an adventure then. To travel to all these different places and see so many different creatures and learn their cultures and customs, with an open mind. You are quite the creature." Rain Shine lets out a sigh and says, "Some creatures are lucky. What I would give to leave this place and see the world. I would gladly share the knowledge of Kirin cultures to every other creatures and...maybe expand the existence of our heritage to the world..." Rain Shine says, "If only I could leave. But...then who would look after our home in my stead? I...I have no other living relatives, let alone an heir to the crown. Nor a second-in-command, or an assistant of sort." Rain Shine says, "We've been hidden from the outside world for so long, I...I'm afraid our hierarchy isn't as developed as the ones observed in Canterlot, the Crystal Empire, or even the Dragon Kingdom. For as long as I can remember, the Kirins are always governed by members of the royal family. And I'm...I'm the last living relative of the royal family." Rain Shine says, "Hmmm?" Rain Shine says, "I wouldn't exactly call myself a queen. I know I wear this crown, but I'm not exactly a princess either. I'm just...wait, what are you doing? Why are you bowing your head?" Rain Shine says, "...Uh, we don't do that here. But..." (Giggles) "I appreciate the gesture." Rain Shine says, "Anyway. After breakfast, I'm going to check up on every one of my little kirins, to see how they're doing, and to make sure they don't make anymore troubles...like last time. Would you like to come with me?" Rain Shine says, "You will?" Rain Shine smiles, "やったー。(Yatta ̄.)" Later, both you and Rain Shine are walking through town. The local kirins were all enjoying the day together, talking, laughing, and having a good time together, like normal people. Rain Shine says, "What a lovely day it is today. Once again, Princess Celestia is working her magic." Rain Shine says, "Hmmm? You think I'm even prettier in her sun?" (Chuckles) "Stop it. Stop it! I'm not used to such compliments. I...I...Oh!" (Grunts upon collision with another) Autumn Blaze says, "Oh! Sorry about that, Rain Shine! Didn't see ya there." Rain Shine says, "That's quite alright, Autumn Blaze. But please, be more careful next time. We have a visitor." Autumn Blaze gasps and rants, "No way! We have a visitor besides Applejack and Fluttershy?! OH! Why didn't you tell me?! I've got so many things I want to say to them! Hey! Who are ya? Name's Autumn Blaze. Do you know my buddies, Applejack and Fluttershy? Because I certainly know them. Did they tell you about me? Because if they didn't, lemme tell ya. I was the first kirin they've ever made friends with, probably because I was the only kirin who can talk. And I was also the only one who can talk, because I found a special flower that cures our silence, because believe you and me, silence is not golden." During Autumn Blaze's entire rant, Rain Shine tries to cut in, but is always interrupted, "Autumn? Autumn, let's not..." (Raises her voice a little) "Autumn! Please, listen..." (Sighs) "This isn't going to work." (Rain Shine takes a deep breath before she roars in a demonic tone) "静かにして!(Shizukani shite!)" A burst of fire erupted as Rain Shine turns into her Nirik form. Autumn Blaze screams, "AUGH!" (Thud fall on the floor) "Rain Shine! Your nirik is showing!" Rain Shine says, in a demonic tone, "Forgive me, but you–Ahem." (Clears her throat as she reverts back to her normal self) "I'm sorry, Autumn. But you weren't listening to me. I needed to get your attention. As I was saying, I believe it is wise that we don't overwhelm our visitor. They have traveled a long way away and they're just starting to get to know us kirins. Might I advise that you...entertain them, one step at a time?" Autumn Blaze says, "Oh. Okay." (Clears her throat) "Hey. Sorry if I was scaring you back there. I just get so excited about making new friends. It's not every day we get new visitors at our village." Autumn Blaze says, "So. How've you been? Are you enjoying your stay here?" Autumn Blaze says, "Cool! And has our beloved leader, Rain Shine been treating you well?" (Whispers close to the listener's ears) "Has she been giving you the 'royal treatment?'" Rain Shine says, though shocked and slightly embarrassed, "Autumn Blaze! That is none of your business! I was simply treating them as how we would treat all of our guests!" Autumn Blaze said teasingly, "I don't know, Rain Shine. Word on the street is, you're quite attached to them." (To the listener) "I know she's quite the catch. But can ya blame her? Don't feel too bad if she breaks your heart. A lot of poor kirin dudes in our village are all 'head over hooves' for her. Maybe it's because of her–" Rain Shine says in an annoyed tone, "Okay. I believe that's quite enough from you, Autumn. I think it's best we should be going, while the day is still young. Now, if you'll excuse us." Autumn Blaze in a teasing tone, "I just want to give them the heads up, Rain Shine." (Whispers to the listener) "But seriously tiger. You just hit the jackpot." (Giggles and gallops away) Rain Shine said sternly, "Autumn Blaze!" (Sighs and chuckles) "Uh, what are we going to do with her. We love her and all, but sometimes, she can be quite the hoof full." Rain Shine says, "Hmmm? What is she right about?" Rain Shine lets out a bashful chuckle, "That I'm quite the catch? I suppose." Rain Shine says, "Aw, I appreciate those kind words of yours. But you're right. Kindness does show the beauty of our hearts, from the inside-out." Rain Shine asks, "What? What about these other..." Rain Shine exclaims in an aghast and shocked tone, "I never–It wasn't all on purpose! I didn't know those kirins felt that strongly about me. I just...I just...We hardly knew each other. And frankly, I'm not surprise that so many other kirins would look at me and find me attractive. I've gotten used to it." Rain Shine says, "With you, it's a different story. By that, I mean...we've gotten to know each other...personally. With you...I feel as if I can just be myself around you. As if I feel some sort of...kinship with you. Could this be...the magic of friendship that Applejack and Fluttershy once spoke of?" (Sighs) "There are so many things I don't even know of. And...I'm scared...but at the same time, I'm excited to learn more." Rain Shine says, "You feel the same way, huh? About this supposed 'kinship'?" Rain Shine chuckles, "Friendship can be a complicated subject. I would very much like to meet this Princess Twilight, in pony. Maybe she can help with this confusion I'm having." Rain Shine says, "Sometimes it's more exciting to solve the friendship problems together, without Princess Twilight's help you say?" Rain Shine asks, "It tells us how strong this bond we've made together is? That would make sense in a way." Rain Shine asks, "Oh? There's a song for that?" Rain Shine says, "And you want to sing it out loud? Well, by all means. Go ahead." You sing the song of Jhené Aiko - Lead the Way, enchanting Rain Shine and a whole crowd of kirins who have gathered around you. By the end, Rain Shine and her kirins all applauded and cheered for your performance. Rain Shine cheered, "とても美しい!(Totemo utsukushī!) That was beautiful! And you're right. We should all trust and believe. And...I trust you. And I believe in you...my friend." (Whispers to herself) "Or...can we possibly be something more?" Rain Shine nervously stuttered, "Uh, nothing! Nothing really! I didn't say anything. Let's just...enjoy the day together. Alright, 友達 (Tomodachi)?" Rain Shine grins, "はい。(Hai.)" > Sweet dreams > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The crickets are chirping outside. You toss and turn in your bed. You got up and walk across the squeaky wooden floors of the house. You slowly open the door, walking over to Rain Shine, who was sound asleep. Rain Shine lightly yawns, “Mmmm. Hmmm? Oh?” She calls your name and asks, “What’s the matter? Why aren’t you sleeping?” She listens to your answer and replies, “I see.” “Oh? Of course, you can sleep with me, if you want to. It’s no trouble at all. You are my guest after all.” Rain Shine scoots over on her bed, which creaks as you climb in with her. She wraps her hooves around you, close to her soft mane. Rain Shine asks, “Are you comfy?” She yawns, “…Alright then. Let’s get some sleep… おやすみ。(Good night.)” The ambience sound of a quiet night. Crickets chirp outside. Winds were blowing. The sound of Rain Shine’s gentle, quiet snoring is heard, next to you. "Hmmm? What...what is..." She yawns as she shuffles in her bed and turns to face you. "何?(What?) すみません。(Excuse me.) Wake up. Wake up! You're having a nightmare!" "I'm...I'm sorry for waking you, but...you were tossing and turning in your sleep. I presume you must have a bad dream..." "Oh, you do? What is it? What troubles you so? If you don't mind my asking..." "I see." "Oh, how dreadful! And you’ve been having these terrible dreams for how long?" “Goodness!” "No...no...don't be ashamed of yourself..." Rain Shine gently shushes you and whispers closely to your ears, "It's okay. It's just a bad dream. Every creature gets them...It's going to be okay." "Look at me. I know it may feel real, but it's not. Just take slow deep breaths with me," Rain Shine inhales a slow deep breath, followed by a slow exhale. “Does it help?” Rain Shines yawns and gets up from her bed. “Follow me. I’ll prepare us some herbal teas. They’re made with the best herbs used to help us sleep…and treat bad dreams.” You follow Rain Shine out of the room, with the sound of wooden floorboards creaking, with every steps. You walk down the stairs, into the kitchen. Rain Shine’s horn lit up, as she levitates a cup, off its shelf, picks up a tea kettle, pours water into the container. She inhales a gust of air a breathes fire to heat up the kettle. “Hmmm? Oh, impressed, are you?” Rain Shine giggles. “We’re not without our mastery of the fire magic. Fire has always been a specialty of ours.” “It’s been said that long ago, there was a time when we, the kirins, were once ordinary unicorns. Until one day, we stumbled upon a lost magic that granted us power over fires, much like dragons. In fact, it is believed that it was from this fire magic that we became part-dragons.” Rain Shine giggles, “Yes, I know it’s hard to believe. I even find it hard to believe these stories myself. But I’m proud of who I am. I’m me. That’s what matters.” Rain Shine blushes and giggles, “Oh no…Stop it. Stop calling me beautiful, I…I can’t! I’ll…” Rain Shine’s fire lights up and she giggles. “Oh no, now look what you made me do…you got me all flustered. I’ve lost control of my fire. My mane is on fire.” Rain Shine takes slow deep breaths, until she was able to calm herself. The intensity of the fires burning on her eases and grew quiet. Walking over to a table, Rain Shine uses telekinesis to pour the herbal tea into a cup. “Here you are, bottom’s up.” “How does it taste? Do you feel calmer, to say the least?” Rain Shine smiles with a chuckle, “Well, good.” She lets out a yawn, “Come. Let’s go back to bed.” The floorboards creak beneath your steps. You walk up the stairs, then follow Rain Shine, back into her room, where both you and her plop into bed together. “Now let’s get some sleep, with no bad dreams, this time.” Rain Shine yawns as she cuddles herself up in bed. “Hmm? Oh. どういたしまして(You are welcome)! It was my pleasure. I’m glad I could help.” “I’m not Princess Luna, but I know a thing or two about having pleasant sleep and what to do in case of bad dreams.” Rain Shine sighs, “Admittedly, I’ve had terrible dreams myself. Sometimes, I would find myself in the center of our beloved home, inflamed, in ruins…everything and everyone I’ve known and loved destroyed.” “Other times, I would often find myself looking in a mirror, and see myself, as a my inner Nirik, tempting me into giving in, and become one with the dragon’s flame for destruction.” “And every time, they all ended the exact same way.” “I wake up, and I would find myself, here in the safety of my room, reassuring and calming myself that the nightmare is over, before I go back to sleep.” “ いいえ(No). I’m not afraid about having another nightmare again. Because we can’t run from them. But we can learn to fight with them.” “Take it from me, my friend. Never let your fears stop you from being yourself. We are better than these nightmares. We are who we choose to be.” “I’m glad you feel inspired,” Rain Shine yawns. “And…I think it’s time we go to sleep…” Rain Shine giggles, “Of course I can hold you close. And…would you like for me esing you to sleep?” “Alright.” Rain Shine clears her throat and sings, while yawning. 約束, Yakusoku - 秋絵, Akie At the end of the song, Rain Shine kisses you to sleep. > 手紙おかいているよ (I'm writing a letter) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Birds chirping* I still can't believe it's been a week already. It felt as if we've just met yesterday. How time flies. I almost wished it didn't have to end so soon... すみません。(Sumimasen.) I'm sorry. This past week has been an absolute treasure. Meeting you, spending time with you, and getting to know one another has been... been... とてもきりいです。(Totemo kirei desu.) It’s very beautiful. I wish it would never end. ...Hmmm? *Giggles* はい。(Hai) I'll never forget these moments. And I wish you don't as well. ...What's that? Of course! I'd be honored to walk you to the train station. 列車の駅に行こう。(Ressha no eki ni ikou.) Let’s go to the train station. *Approaching galloping hoofsteps.* Oh! Here comes Autumn Blaze. What could the little dear have to say now? [Autumn Blaze]: Hey Rain Shine! I just heard our new friend was leaving and thought I should come to see them off, with you, if that's okay. [Rain Shine]: Not at all, Autumn. I think they'd appreciate it. [Autumn Blaze]: (To you) Hey! Thanks again for visiting our village. It's been a blast to entertain another soul since Applejack and Fluttershy. Also, I just want to say that you have an amazing voice at that karaoke party we were throwing the other day. And between you and me...Rain Shine was really into you. [Rain Shine] (Flustered) Autumn Blaze! [Autumn Blaze] Hey! You didn't hear that from me. さよなら。(sayonara.) *Autumn Blaze laughing and gallops away* What am I going to do with her? Autumn Blaze is optimistic, sure. But sometimes, she seems to enjoy having some fun at my expense. …You’re right. She’s just funny, that way. Which is why we love her. Ahem. Shall we? *Gentle hoof steps and ambient sounds of the outdoor.* It's going to be...very quiet in the village, without you. I mean, before Applejack and Fluttershy, the village was always quiet. With the exception being Autumn Blaze. Still, it was nice to have guests and visitors, now and then. And I’m very thankful to accommodate you as your hostess. It’s not everyday I would entertain guests in my home. I often have visits from Autumn Blaze and the other kirins, now and then. But…it’s not the same. I see my little kirins almost every day. I took care of them, as I always have. And they’re all a joy for conversations. But sometimes…I…I just wanted to meet new ponies and creatures. Maybe see more of the world, outside of our village. And then you came and…and…you shine. I’m going to miss that glow of yours. You have been such a wonderful guest and...And I wish you have a pleasant trip home. I hope to see you again soon. *Peck *Giggles* すみません。(Sumimasen.) Was that too much of a…farewell? Oh! Your face! It’s turning red. Are you…sick or something? You’re not catching a fever, are you? Oh, what a relief. Hmmm? It’s called blushing? Interesting. I think it makes you look かわいい。(kawaii) You look cute. Hmmm? Oh! I’m cute too? I’m beautiful. Aw! ありがとうございます!(Arigatō gozaimasu!) What? An angel? *Laughing wholeheartedly* Stop it. You’re making me blush! Oh my, no. I…I could never be as beautiful as an alicorn. I…I don’t know. A kirin with wings… I’ve never heard of such things. Although, I do remember my mother’s grandmother’s story, about a race of ponies — called longmas — who have mastered fire magic, just as we kirins have. Legend has it that their fires were gifted to them, by the dragons. And their mastery of fire was so great, that they were covered in dragon scales to protect themselves from their blazing inferno. Yes. It is an inspiring legend. And you know what? When I was a foal, I like to pretend I have wings… *Whispers to your ears* Made of fire! *Train whistle blowing in the distance* Here comes the train… *Peck* Oh?! What…you kissed me…why? To say farewell and…you love me? *Stammering* Y-Y-You l-l-love me? *Stuttering and blushing like a schoolgirl* I-I-I l-l-love you too! *Clearing her throat and to compose herself* I mean…I love you too. *The sound of soft hair brushing, stroking, and giggling, and a deep, passionate kiss* *Mmmmmmmm-mwah* Oh! Wow…that was… すごい!(sugoi!) Amazing! I’ve…I’ve never kissed that passionate, before… *Train whistle sounded louder* The train will be here soon. I’m afraid this is sayonara, my love. You will come back? それは素晴らしい! (Sore wa subarashii!) That’s wonderful! I…I can hardly wait! Hmmm? Ponyville? Oh! You will be writing letters to me, now and then? How lovely! And I will gladly write them back to you. てがみ を 書いて いる よ~ (Tegami o kaite iru yo~) *Train comes to a stop. Whistling and letting out steams.* *Mwah!* さよなら。(Sayonara.) Have a safe trip home! *The train pulls away, and Rain Shine turns to walk back to her village* Oh, Rain Shine. It’s kirin school all over again. *Giggles* Even if the stars fall I wanna stare into your eyes.
