An ARK crossover starring me and my friend, and the main 7 EG. Will we survive? What rules of the game are missing? What in the game, will change?
As the Main 7 are having a slumber party, Pinkie decides to have everyone try the hottest game she’s been hearing about around Canterlot High, but when they go to start, something weird happens, and when they awaken they find themselves stuck on an island surrounded by dinosaurs long thought exctinct. Will they survie? Will they be able to get home? Will they be eaten? And what is on those two large birds coming our hero's way? Find all that out and more.
In the prologue I will TRY to remain as canon as possible, but once the prologue is done, the characters will have OOC bounds to me, which means I can have them act how I would like, but keep them close to their canonical selfs as I can, but I will have certain things added here as the story goes on, look forward to it.

One summer evening Pinkie is readying her home for the arrival of her friends for a slumber party she has been planning for the past week.
“Everyone’s been soooooo busy lately with collage things, I’m just happy to be working at Sugar Cube Corner when we have our graduation ceremony,” Pinkie says with glee.
She then goes to her room and starts setting up her Switch for the new game she’s been hearing people around school mentioning before summer. A game called ARK.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
“Coming!” Pinkie says in her usual joyful tone.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
“Didn't I say I was coming?" Pinkie says in joyful confusion.
"Seriously, can't this person just learn to wait." Pinkie says to us.
Pinkie no breaking the fourth wall, got it.
"And why not?" Pinkie says to the author,
Because if not, I will never let you speak again...or do something worse.
"Okie doki loki." Pinkie returns and answers the door.
"Howdy Pinkie, me an Rainbow here are..." AppleJack says to Pinkie after opening the door.
"Here to get our party on! Now can I finally have some cider AJ?" Rainbow Dash buts in.
"Not till the rest of da girls show up Rainbow," AJ quips back.
"Please, please, just one sip, I gotta have my Cider fix, please AJ I'm begging you here," RD begs as she holds onto AJ's leg.
"Again, not until the..." AJ starts saying,
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Pinkie opens the door and she, AJ, and RD, see the rest of their friends.
"YES!" RD runs and grabs the case of Apple family hard cider from AJ before using her geode to run up to Pinkie's room.
"Dang nabit Rainbow, get back ere," AJ says agitated before running after Rainbow.
"Rainbow has a problem." Sunset says,
"And you're stating the obvious dear, unlike moi," Rarity says in her posh attitude.
"Come on girls, if we don't get up there, Rainbow will down the entire pack before we have any," Twilight says before rushing upstairs after AJ and RD.
The rest of the girls follow Twilight upstairs until they enter Pinkies room.
Later
"OH COME ON PINKIE!" RD throws her controler at the ground as Pinkie has once again beaten everyone in Mario Kart 8 Delux solo.
"Awe don't worry Dashie, you'll beat me someday," Pinkie says giving her siginture smile, "But with that done, let's try the new game I've been hearing about." Pinkie then returns to the home menu and ejects the game, pulling out a blank case as she puts the game in.
The game shows up as ARK: Survival Evolved.
"Ooooo...what is the game about Pinkie?" RD asks.
"Well, you tame animals and fight super large monsters with them, and all the while you're trying to survive, by building bases, making wepons, armor, and even sciency stuff, you can even customize your hair and clothing, you can even make a massive farm in it," Pinkie says with enthusiasum, "and I can show you with what I've done when I tried playing some of it myself," Pinkie then turns around and loads up the game, but as she does the power goes out.
"Hm, this didn't happen before?" Pinkie looks around confused.
Just as Pinkie looks around the TV glows green and becomes a vortex that then sucks Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, AppleJack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Sci-Twi, and Sunset shimmer.
"AAAAHHH!!! PINKIE WHAT DID YOU DOOOOOO!" they all scream as the vortex sucks them up and into the TV.
After the comotion Spike walks in and see's none of the girls after looking around.
"...did they go on an adventure without me…AGAIN!?" Spike says annoyidly.
It is a nice summer day out in ???, but two friends are not outside, for they, are inside play Ark.
“Just let me finish setting up the world Dave. Okay?” Cactus says with an annoyed huff.
“I would if I had the game, but I only have it through ??? ??? share, so I can’t play when you are Cactus,” Dave returns with their own huff of annoyance.
“Okay, okay.” Cactus puts the laptop down as they turn to look at Dave. “Look, I’d like to just finish ??? and finally have ??? so once I’m done that, let’s just watch some anime, and hangout,” Cactus puts their hand on one of Dave’s shoulder and smiles, “Okay?”
“…” Dave gives them a sideways glance, “…only if I pick,” Dave gives a sly grin to Cactus.
“…fine…but nothing that’d get me in shit with my family,” Cactus reluctantly says, “Got it?,” Cactus says sternly.
“Oh come on Cactus!!! You may not know this but ??? has a new season coming out today and I’d like to watch it,” Dave complains.
“Well too bad Dave I will NEVER watch anything like that in my life, and YOU,” Cactus pokes Dave’s chest, “can’t make me.”
"Oh really then?" Dave has a sly grin on their face, "how about a little bet then?"
"...mmm...okay, what kind of bet did you have in mind?" Cactus gives Dave a skeptical glance.
"Simple really," Dave says, "if you manage to beat The BroodMother with your Rex army alone, you pick, if you can't, then I pick and we watch ???, okay?" Dave grins deviously.
"... ... ...alright, fine, but...okay, done, just hit start and I can get The BroodMother okay," Cactus cuts themselves off before hitting the start button on the screen.
After hitting the start button the lights start violently flickering as the room shakes.
"AAAAAHHHH TORNADO!!!!" Cactus screams as they run into the storm cellar to hide.
Dave remains stoic on the couch as the lights continue to flicker, the TV flickering on and off at the same intensity as the lights. Eventually the lights start slowly retuning to normal, but the TV remains off for some unknown reason.
“You can come out now Cactus,” Dave says to Cactus in the storm cellar, “but the TV’s out though,”
“Seriously!?” Cactus rushes out of the storm cellar and starts looking over the TV and it’s cables.
“Well thankfully they’re…” Cactus starts saying before the TV starts turning on, showing a green dot. “Hm…what do you think that green dot is Dave?” Cactus asks Dave.
Suddenly the green dot starts to grow as wind starts stirring around both Cactus and Dave.
"Um...Dave?" Cactus looks at Dave concerned and slightly scared as they start backing away.
"Well...either we're about to have some fictional character appear, or..." Cactus starts saying before the green dot now grows and becomes a swirling vortex in the TV.
"YOU WERE GONNA SAY GET ISIKAIED WEREN'T YOU!?" Dave yells over to Cactus over the sounds of the wind as the green vortex tries to swallow up the both of them.
"SO WHAT IF I WAS DAVE! SO SUE ME!" Cactus replies as they hold onto the metal support structure that is behind the couch.
"I WOULD IF I WASN'T ABOUT TO POSSIBLY DIE!? AND SINCE IT'S JUST US WE NEED TO FIND OUR OWN WAY OUT. OKAY DAVE?" Cactus yells back to Dave as they hang onto the doorframe.
As Cactus looks around for a way to stop this they notice the power cable connecting to both the laptop and TV, "I HAVE AN IDEA DAVE!" Cactus yells to Dave.
'I'M DOWN FOR ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T GET US KILLED CACTUS!" Dave yells back at Cactus.
"OKAY, FIRST WE NEED TO GET CLOSE TO THE TV! YOU GO FIRST DAVE" Cactus yells to Dave.
"LIKE HELL ASSHOLE!!!" Dave replies holding onto the door frame.
"I'M RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TV, YOU HAVE HIGHER ODDS OF SURVING BECAUSE YOU'RE CLOSER TO THE WALL!!!” Cactus returns to Dave.
"OKAY! BUT IF I DIE I'M HAUNTING YOU! GOT IT!" Dave concedes.
'ON THREE. ONE! TWO! THREE!" Cactus yells to Dave as Dave lets go of the door frame.
As Dave falls towards the TV they turn themselves and spread their legs as to hopefully land on the TV width wise, which they successfully do.
"I'M ON THE TV! I'M GONNA PULL THE PLUG NOW ??? OKAY! SO BE READY TO LAND ON THE COUCH!" Dave yells back at Cactus from the TV.
"JUST DO IT YOU DUMB ASS!!! I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN HANG ON ANY LONGER!!!" Cactus yells back at Dave.
After hearing Cactus' answer Dave carefully walks along the edge of the TV to try and not get sucked in but reach for the power cable safely.
Dave reaches for the cable and manages to grab it as Cactus finally loses their grip and starts getting sucked in.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" ??? yells as they get closer to the vortex.
Dave manages to quickly unplug the TV after hearing Cactus' scream. As they do, Cactus hits the screen of the TV as Dave falls onto their side as the wind suddenly stops after the unplugging.
"Did you have to wait to unplug it Dave?" Cactus asks as they get up off the ground.
"No...it just happened that way, and you're not the only one who got hurt just now...ow," Dave replies as the rub their left arm after getting up.
"Okay, okay...fine...but should we get something to eat now," Cactus asks just as their stomach growls.
"Ya, we should, cause we..."Dave replies just as the green vortex opens again and immediately sucks the two of them into the TV.
“Uuuuuh…did someone get the license plate of that library driver?” Twilight says groggily as she slowly wakes up feeling a refreshing breeze as if from the ocean.
“Uh…how did I?” Twilight asks confused as she looks around and see tall trees, stones of various sizes, some driftwood, and the crystal clear waters of the ocean in front of her as she looks down and sees herself in just her bra and panties as she suddenly starts blushing at the state she is in, immediately covering herself instinctively.
"Uh...Twi...are you..." A voice comes from behind her.
Twilight whips her head around and sees Sunset Shimmer in the same predicament as herself, “Sunset, we’re both…” Twilight begins saying,
“Near naked. I know and am embarrassed by it. But my curiosity of where we are over-rid my embarrassment.” Sunset cuts Twilight off as she begins to approach Twilight.
“So, how far have you explored Sunset?” Twilight asks as she begins to get up.
“Up to what looks like a swamp, it’s not that far either,” Sunset replies as she points over her shoulder.
“Okay,” Twilight then starts thinking, “If a swamp is too the south, then north could be safe, as for civilization,” Twilight looks up towards the open ocean in front of her, “unlikely,” Twilight then looks at Sunset, “We should head north since a swamp is to our south,” Twilight tells Sunset with confidence.
“Great minds think alike, I was thinking that as well, I just wanted to make sure you woke up before heading out to far,” Sunset responds.
“Fair point,” Twilight turns towards the north and looks back at Sunset, “Ready to go Sunset?”
Sunset nods and starts to walk northbound with Twilight.
As the sun nears its peak Sunset and Twilight are walking northbound from where they both awoke.
As they walk they both look around the beach, seeing more large rocks, trees, and driftwood around the water front.
“By the looks of things we might be the only ones here,” Twilight says with a hint of concern in her voice.
“Yes, I’d have to…” Sunset starts to say before cutting herself off.
“WAIT!” Sunset exclaims, as she points to what looks like a small, roofless shack, on stone like foundations, wooden walls, and a small greenhouse attached to the back.
“We should investigate Sunset,” Twilight says as she starts running towards the small shack.
“Wait up Twilight!” Sunset partially yells as she runs after Twilight.
As they approach the shack they see the door on it is closed and locked.
“Ummmm…” Sunset starts thinkings as her hand goes down and fiddles with her geode pendant, as she then has an idea, “Twilight,” Twilight then turns and looks at Sunset, “Can you use your geode to levitate us into there?” Sunset suggests.
“Maybe, but I don’t know if we should, this place looks like someone might’ve been here recently,” Twilight says with uncertainty.
“We need to, they may have information that could help us,” Sunset rebukes.
Twilight looks at the door as she fiddles with her geode “…okay,” Twilight reluctantly says.
“Okay, let’s go,” Sunset says as she prepares herself for Twilights levitation.
Twilight then holds onto her pendant and lifts herself and Sunset into the air and over the wall in her magical aura until it stops. Sunset roughly lands and Twilight collapses onto her knees panting for breath.
“You okay?” Sunset asks in concern as she drapes herself over Twilight.
“Yes…just…I’ve never…been this…tired…from doing this…before,” Twilights says between pants.
“Something could be wrong, let’s keep our geode use to a minimum from now on, okay?” Sunset asks Twilight in concern.
“Agreed,” Twilight says as she slowly gets back onto her feet.
“Let’s explore and find things that could help us,” Sunset says as she steps back and walks towards a closet.
As Sunset opens it she, finds it empty and notices a small object in her wrist.
“What?” Sunset says as she focuses on it until a small screen opens up and she sees multiple sets of scuba gear and around nine sets of hide armour.
“Twilight…you might want to come see this,” Sunset says with a hint of fear in her voice.
“Yes,” Twilight turns and see Sunset standing there, holding the door to the closet and looking at her wrist as she approaches.
“Do you not see this?” Sunset asks as she waves her screen in front of Twilight.
“See what?” Twilight asks.
“You don’t see the blue screen in front of my face?” Sunset asks.
“No,” Twilight responds until she sees the same thing in her wrist, “What is this?” she asks.
“Hold onto this closet and focus on it, then you’ll see what I’m talking about…maybe,” Sunset responds.
Twilight does what Sunset said and sees the same thing as Sunset.
“I think we should take the Hide Armour sets, if we find the girls we can give it to them and hopefully cloth ourselves,” Sunset says as she looks over what to take.
“We should,” Twilight returns, “But how about you look in that small wooden box, or the metal filing stand,” Twilight says as she looks at the armour.
“Good idea,” Sunset says as she takes her hand off of the closet and the blue menu closes.
Twilight then focuses on the hide gear and it moves into the box on the left, she repeats this process until she has all the hide armour in her inventory.
Meanwhile Sunset does what she did to the closet but to the small metal filing cabinet, her eyes suddenly go wide as she sees it full of notes by an unknown author at this moment, and asks Twilight, “How do I move them to the left box?”
“Focus on them and move them into the left side,” Twilight responds as she puts on her set of Hide Armour.
“Okay,” Sunset replies as she does just that, adding 27 notes to her inventory.
“Why did you ask? Did you find something?” Twilight asks in curiosity.
“Ya, I found a total of 27 notes, the author is unknown right now,” Sunset responds as she turns around and sees 5 packages on the ground in front of her, “What are those Twilight?” Sunset asks as she points at the packages.
“Those were the hide armour that I put down for you, why are they in packages?” Twilight responds in confusion, “but we should look at them later when or if we meet up with the…” Twilight starts says until they hear a loud scream.
“…Rarity,” They both say at the same time. They turn to face each other and start lightly laughing.
“At least we know where to go when we…” Sunset starts saying until both Sunset and Twilight feel the ground quake beneath them.
“Let’s get out, cause whatever’s causing this,” Twilight points to the ground, “is not going to be our friend, I’ll lift us out and you can help me keep up,” Twilight says in a slight panic.
“Okay, let’s go,” Sunset quickly responds.
Twilight then lifts the both of them in the air and they repeat the same landing they had when they went in, but Sunset quickly recovers and partially carries Twilight as they both run northbound.
As Sunset and Twilight recover their breath a ways away, “What…could…THAT have been?” Sunset asks.
“No…idea…it…could…be…multiple…things…but…more…likely…volcanic…activity” Twilight responds in between breathes.
“Well…let’s…look…for…” Sunset starts to say until she notices a small place made of, what looks like straw, “who do you…” Sunset cuts herself off as she sees Pinkie emerge from said small place as her eyes go wide.
“PINKIE!” Twilight yells as she tiredly runs towards Pinkie, Sunset following close behind, just as tired.
“Oh hey you two, where’ve you been?” Pinkie responds happily,
As Cactus and Dave stand in front of their industrial forge with their Argentavis’s, Cactus goes around the railing and up the stairs to the door and opens it.
“I’ll be working more bullets, you need any for your shotgun?” Cactus asks.
“Na, I’m good. But if we have enough Polymer and Metal, can we make snipers?” Dave responds.
“Only if we end up finding people here, and even then, I would want them captured and brought here in cages,” Cactus retorts to Dave.
“I can see your point, but why not see if they…” Dave starts saying before they hear a loud scream somewhere near the beach.
“…we just got back from there…did you see anyone while you were out gathering Narcoberries Dave?” Cactus asks.
“No, and I know you probably didn’t see anyone due to you grabbing Silica pearls with your Mosa right?” Dave responds.
“True…also, did you grab the Hide gear and bring it here to put into the grinder Dave?” Cactus asks.
“No, I thought you did,” Dave returns with a confused tone.
“…we have people…” Cactus says with a blank tone, “you get Arrrg, and Wasd, I’ll get Travis, crafting supplies to make cages, cuffs, darts, and our longnecks.” Cactus says in a commanding but respectful tone to Dave.
“Roger that buddy.” Dave salutes and runs off to grab the two.
“No one will ruin our chances of getting home,” Cactus quietly and threateningly says to themselves as they enter the tower to grab the crafting supplies.
As Twilight and Sunset hug Pinkie, they both look at the small shack she emerged from.
“Who made this hut?” Sunset asks as she pulls back from the hug.
“It was made by me silly billy,” Pinkie responds in her usual cheerful tone with her signature smile.
“But how?” Sunset asks in confusion.
“Oh simple,” Pinkie then shows her implant, “This let me do all that,” Pinkie smiles as she points to her hut, smiling.
Twilights and Sunsets jaws drop as the look between the hut and Pinkie.
“There is no conceivable way that you,” Twilight points at the small straw structure, “built that, when we,” she then points to herself and Sunset, “were out there and getting information,” Twilight says in disbelief.
“I did too silly billy,” Pinkie says with her smile. “And I can easily show you how,” Pinkie then jumps between her two friends and drags them inside the small hut.
“Well…this looks…” Sunset begins to say as she looks inside the small hut before cutting herself off at the sight of Rarity curled up in the fettle position rapidly muttering to herself while rocking back and forth.
“RARITY!” Sunset runs over and looks Rarity over, before touching her geode and Rarity as she sees Rarity wandering around like they did before seeing Pinkie and her mentioning the device in their wrists. At which point Rarity then screams.
“What happened to her,” Twilight asks Pinkie and Sunset, as she notices Sunsets white eyes, indicating that she is using her geode.
“Well…” Pinkie begins to say.
“She saw her…device,” Sunset then holds up her wrist to show Twilight and Pinkie what she’s talking about, “and freaked.” Sunset says calmly as she looks at her own device and thrum a it over with her thumb while thinking about the blue screen.
And as suddenly as she thinks about it, it appears in front of her once again like in the cabin and she nods to Twilight who does the same and drops the packages onto the floor of the hut like she did at the small cabin.
“OOOH, what’s that?” Pinkie asks as she picks it up and it disappears. “What!? What happened to the present?” Pinkie asks sadly.
“Look in your…device,” Sunset says as she looks away from it and taps it to show Pinkie.
“Ooooh…okie doky loki,” Pinkie says happily before looking at her own device and putting on the gear.
At which point Rarity looks at them and screams once more.
“THOSE ARE HIDEOUS! OF ALL THE WORST POSSIBLE THINGS, THIS IS THE WORST!” She cries out in alarm as they hear what sounds like a large number of birds wings flapping and the others give Rarity a deadpan glare before bursting out of the hut and seeing AJ and Rainbow running from, what looks like a pack of extinct Pteranodons.
“WHAT DID YOU TWO DO!?” Sunset asks them as they see the two getting closer while Rainbow holds a small egg over her head.
“I TOOK THIS EGG FOR FOOD AND THEY STARTED CHASING US!!!” Rainbow yells as she ducks under a swoop from a Pteranodon.
“THEN GIVE IT BACK!” Twilight yells at them as Rainbow and AJ run past a massive tree.
Hearing this Rainbow grumbles and throws the egg into the air and continues to run.
As the egg sails through the air a Pteranodon catches the egg and the flock flies off just as the Rainbow and AJ stop in front of the rest of the girls.
“So…now what?” Rainbow asks while looking at the others.
“First,” Twilight drops 10 packages onto the ground in front of them. “Pick them up and look into this,” She says as she points to her device. “Second, we’re going to look for Fluttershy after we find out how to get food,” She then looks at AJ and Rainbow and sees them in the hide armour. “And third, we find out who made the notes Sunset found where we found these armour sets.” Twilight says calmly as she begins to walk back into the hut.
“Who put her in charge?” Rainbow jokingly whispers into AppleJacks ear while nudging her.
“No one did, but she’s probably the only one who can decode those notes.” Sunset says calmly as she grabs Rainbows and AppleJacks hands and drags them inside the hut.
As Pinkie looks at her device and suddenly a table appears for everyone as Twilight puts all the notes onto the table and begins to look at them, while the others are looking at Pinkie with confusion.
“What? I crafted a table and put it down,” Pinkie say with her smile.
“Yes darling, but the how is what some of us want to know,” Rarity says as she begins to alter her Hide Armour.
“Agreed,” all but Sunset asks. While Sunset herself is thinking with her head cradled in her hand.
“I think the first thing we need to know, is how these devices got into us, and what to call them?” Sunset says calmly as she look at the other 4 girls.
“We can can call them implants, like they are called in the blue screen,” Pinkie says excitedly.
“WAIT WHAT!?” Sunset asks surprised as she looks at her “implant” and the focuses on the device in the blue screen and sees Pinkie is right.
“…okay…Pinkie is right, we’ll call them implants. But now, we need to find Fluttershy and hope she is…” Sunset begins to speak as a knock on the straw door is heard.
“I’ll get it,” Pinkie say happily as she opens the door and the girls see, what looks like a Dodo with a familiar face behind it.
“Um…hi girls,” Fluttershy says with a beet red face as she remains in her bra and panties with a beet red face.
“Come in and we can…” Sunset says as Twilight yells, “Got some of it!” from the table.
As the girls usher Fluttershy in, Twilight gives her, her set of Hide Armour, which she puts on with help from Pinkie as the others crowd around the table and look at Twilight.
“Okay, so I can only guess, but the notes are separated by some category. I have these ones,” Twilight gestures to the small pile of notes in front of her, “Which seem to be items needed for either summoning, feeding, or calling them. While these,” Twilight gestures to another stack to her right, “seem to be recipes for food or drinks,” Twilight then gestures to a wide pile of 6 spread out on the table, “those seem to be maps of some kind,” Twilight then gestures to two piles side by side, “And these seem to be a list of creatures, with numbers, and a reason. But I don’t know the reason exactly,” Twilight says as she looks from the papers to the group.
“And these two?” Sunset asks as she holds them up and reads them.
“They seem to have things that are similar to the summoning one, but they say Traitor, so I don’t really know?” Twilight says as she begins to think.
But as she thinks they hear a metallic clink come from the sloped roof not long before an explosion blows the roof off the hut and another explosive hits the ground and releases a gas from its canister.
“What the…” Everyone asks before falling to the floor.
The last thing Sunset sees is four feet stepping into their hut and picking up the others.

High in the skies above the Island two Argentaviv’s and a Quetzel with a stone box are heading towards the eastern beach.
A radio crackles to life on one riders belt, “Cages and cuffs are ready. You still got your darts I made for you? And your longneck?” the person on the other side of the radio asks.
“I do, I do. We don’t need to make ANOTHER turn around this time, I triple checked that I had everything Cactus,” Dave says into their radio.
“Just making sure,” Cactus says in a playful and joking tone.
“You’re doing one of your smiles aren’t you Cactus?” Dave asks with a knowing smirk on their face.
“…yes. But we need to get them and gather any and all information from them, and if they’re not useful, we use them as feed for our army,” Cactus says through the radio.
“Sounds fair, but make sure you stay secure, cause I have WASD following me and Travis, while I’m on Arrrg, and I hope you have a parachute,” Dave says lightheartedly with a smile.
“Always do when taking a flyer Dave, and use your spy glass to check the beachfront, I’m going to make some poison grenades, cause I feel we have more than enough darts, and the grenades will do better than us needing to aim, and just in case, I’m making some normal grenades,” Cactus says over the radio.
“Good plan, then again, there is a reason my friends gave you the nickname, The Tactician,” Dave happily responds.
“All I did to earn that was think in the third dimension in a normally 2D game, but I’ll go silent until all crafting is done, until then, keep an eye out and radio me if you see anything,” Cactus says, “and be careful Dave,” Cactus adds on.
“I will, and I’ll radio if I find something,” Dave responds while on Arrrg and looking out of their spyglass along the beachfront, but can’t see much due to the edge of the jungles dense canopy.
[Inside the stone box]
As Cactus looks at their blue box while their right hand is on a Smithing Table.
“I hope we are alone, and that the scream was just some random creature,” Cactus thinks to themselves solemnly.
Cactus closes their menu and walks around in the box and checks over the simple Wooden Cages and keeps the doors open. Afterwards they check their menu and the 12 cuffs that they have on hand.
Not long after quadruple checking everything, Cactus’s radio blared to life.
“I got movement by the swamplands heading north on the eastern beach, engage or wait to see if they head to their tribe?” Dave asks in a military like voice.
“We wait and see if they go to their tribe and base, once there, I’ll open a hatch and drop a grenade on their base, followed quickly by a poison one,” Cactus responds in a commander like tone.
“Roger,” Dave responds.
After watching the person outside their tribes base be let in Cactus pulls the pin on the small grenade and drops it, and after they drop it, the pull out a poison one and pull the pin and drop it.
Only seconds later does the bases roof explode and the poison grenade hits the centre of their base and they see shadows moving around before dropping.
“MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!” Cactus says in a militarian tone as they take WASD’s reigns and dives to the ground and lands WASD with their back to the hut and a ramp to the ground.
As the shoot the door away the two of them see 7 women, all in hide Armour with notes strewn around the table. Cactus goes over and looks at the notes and then turns and glares at the unconscious women.
“Found our armour, and my notes,” Cactus says scarily calmly.
“So, cuff, cage, and then what?” Dave asks.
“…test. We’ll test them and see if they’re useful, I have the supplies to make an XXL wall and some more things,” Cactus says calmly.
“What’ll the test be?” Dave asks as they begin to load the women into the cages from the ramp.
“Make a Med brew,” Cactus says calmly as they help load them up.
After looting everything and destroying the rest the duo saddles back up and takes to the skies with both on WASD.
“Keep them knocked out, while I figure out what the hell these are,” Cactus says calmly as they hold up seven geodes.
“Well they look like geode necklaces, but that’s it,” Dave says cheekily with a joking smirk.
“I know that. But that’s it,” Cactus says as they put the geodes into their menu. “I’ll build everything we’ll need for the cage. It’ll be three by three by two,” Cactus says after putting the geodes away and focusing on the smithing table to make everything needed.
“Ten four,” Dave replies as they force feed all 7 more narcotics.
As they arrive back at base Cactus opens the floor hatch and jumps out over the base before deploying their parachute and floating to the ground and quickly building the cage.
Dave lightly chuckles at them and has WASD stay airborne and they unload the 7 women, now stripped of their armour.
“I’ll grab 80 Tintoberries, you hand them 2 narcotics, and I’ll hand one 8 canteens, 75 stone, 15 thatch, 5 Flint, and 20 wood, all separated between them,” Cactus says calmly as they hop on Travis and fly to the tower base to grab everything.
“You got it,” Dave says to themselves before looking at the one that they had seen on the beach, and admires her form before a grin spreads across their face and they reach out.
“And no doing anything to them while I’m away, I know you,” Cactus’s radio says as Dave’s hand is just inches from her face.
Dave grumbles and does as asked and gets back on WASD and lands them before going to the industrial forge and checking their latest metal run to see how much metal they now have.
Meanwhile Cactus is inside and grabbing all the supplies and makes a blueprint for a cooking pot as a precaution. Before coming out and hopping back on Travis and flying up to the trap door and opening it, and handing each person one of the items before hopping onto Travis and closing the trap door and flying to the ground and gathering all the previous stacks for the army. And whistling to them that sets them to attack anyone that falls out of the cage.
“Uuuug, did someone get the plate on that cake?” Pinkie asks as she slowly awakens from her slumber.
Through her groggy eyes she goes to stand up and feels something on her head, and when she looks up, she sees a stone ceiling.
“Wow…I’m better than I thought,” Pinkie says happily as she then sees her sleeping friends and begins to wake them up.
“Pinkie…PINKIE!” Sunset says groggily as it turns to surprise as she hugs Pinkie in relief.
“The home I built may be small, but I think it’ll be easy to…” Pinkie begins to talk before Sunset gives her a look.
“I think we were captured Pinkie, so now, the question is, what do they want with us?” Sunset asks everyone.
“M-m-m-maybe…they want t-t-t-to see what we…can do,” Fluttershy says nervously.
“I don wanna think this, but maybe, as a worst case, slaves?” Applejack says worriedly but honestly.
“Maybe they know my awesom skills and took us to recruit us into giving us help,” Rainbow says cockily.
“Or dress us in the worst fashion anyone has ever known,” Rarity says dramatically, which causes the girls to give her a deadpan look.
“Experiment on us, or use us to test theories they may have?” Twilight says calmly.
“I think they’re gonna test us and see if we’re worthy of joining them and then we all help each other figure out what happened,” Pinkie says happily as she goes to grab her geode, only for her eyes to widen and she begins patting herself down to try and find her geode, but also finds out, her armour is gone.
“GIRLS! Check your implants, we may have been robbed!” Pinkie exclaims as she checks her implant and finds 2 narcotics.
The rest of the girls check their implants and Twilight finds that she has a blueprint for a cooking pot, and five flint. While Sunset has eight canteens. Applejack has 75 stone. Rainbow has 20 wood. Fluttershy has 15 thatch.
“Girls, have you every heard of a berry that looks like cherries to be called a “tintoberry”?” Rarity asks as she shares what she has verbally with the group.
“Okay…first off Rarity, no. Second off, we have enough to make the cooking pot via the blueprint, so please hand me all but 10 of the wood, the water, and the berries,” Twilight asks as she looks at her friends.
The girls do as Twilight asks and hand her everything she asked for, at which point she focuses on her implant for a few moments, afterwards she turns to Pinkie.
“How do I put it down Pinkie, you were the only one to build anything so far,” Twilight asks as she looks to her friend.
“Well first, focus on the item and the point your non implant hand finger where you want to put it,” Pinkie guides Twilight
Doing as Pinkie instructed Twilight places the cooking pot in the corner. At which point she notices some light coming from a hatch in the middle of the room.
“Girls, I think I found our way out,” Twilight says cautiously to the others.
“Then open it up and let’s git out o ere,” Applejack says happily.
As the girls move towards the hatch Sunset remains near the cooking pot thinking. Before it quickly hits her.
“STOOOP!” Sunset yells as Rainbow goes to open the hatch.
“We we’re about to get out, why ask us to stop?” Rainbow asks annoiedly.
“Step back and I can probably show you,” Sunset says as she approaches the hatch and steps to the side of it, and opens it, showing a long drop and many large creatures eyes look up and start chomping at the hatches direction.
“See,” Sunset squeaks out as she shuts the hatch.
“Point made, but how do we…” Rainbow begins to speak as they hear a voice come from below.
“Ahoy up there! Good to see you’re awake, now, my friend has a test for you, complete it, and we won’t kill you,” the person yells up now standing on the stone foundation that their prison is built on.
The girls open the hatch and see the man has dirty blond hair and is covered in Flak Armour.
“I may not want you killed, but he’s smarter than me and has a better understanding, so you have until sunset to finish, and we have your necklaces just in case you were wondering!” The man yells up to them before walking next to the T-Rex and the Rex’s open a small path and let him out.
“Well…we found who is in charge of those things,” Rainbow says surprised.
“T-Rexs Rainbow…those are T-Rexs,” Fluttershy bleets out.
Everyone looks at her in shock before looking back at the large group of Rexs beneath them.
“Okay, so what’s the test? Think it was that?” Fluttershy asks while pointing at the cooking pot, but before anyone can answer her the man comes back to the foundation.
“And the only hint I’m allowed to give you is, You have everything you need to make it and when made, you will have nothing!” The man yells up before walking away once more.
“Okay, so it’s not that,” Twilight begins to think as Sunset hands out the canteens to everyone and holds onto the extra.
“Maybe~…the extra canteen can go into the cooking pot, with the wood, berries and the narcotics in my implant?” Pinkie asks the rest of the group.
“Maybe…WAIT!” Rainbow shoots up and grabs Pinkies shoulders, “Why didn’t your weird Pinkie sense thing warn us about the explosives and knock out gas?” Rainbow asks while shaking Pinkie.
“No clue, it just hasn’t worked since we came here,” Pinkie says calmly while being shaken by Rainbow. But after hearing Pinkie, she reluctantly lets go.
“I reckon that could be an idea, but a’m willin to wait an hear if anyone ere may have a better idea,” Applejack says while looking at the other girls.
“I think Pinkie may be right,” both Twilight and Sunset say at the the same time, before looking at each other, and then smiling as they begin to laugh, at which point the other girls begin to chuckle, as those chuckles become laughter.
“See, I told you laughter can raise spirits,” Pinkie says to a wall then poking it.
”I’ll let this one slide Pinkie because it’s a good message,”
“Yay!” Pinkie says happily as she turns and puts her hand on the top of the cooking pot, look at at her implant, and then puts everything in it. Only for them to hear a crashing sound and turn around to see that their western wall is no longer stone, but a see through glass.
“Yo, thought I’d do this so you can see how much time you got left,” The man says kindly before looking at the cooking pot and smiling and shooting all of them a thumbs up. “I did this on my own, so good luck, cause I want more people here to help get everyone home,” the man says with a smile before flying down to the ground on a large bird.
“Why how nice of him, his fashion sense is positively dreadful, but he is a gentleman,” Rarity says while looking at the rest of the girls.
“Enough about that, how do you plan on…” Rainbow begins to say as the fire under the cooking pot comes to life with Pinkie still holding the top of the structure holding the pot.
“Pinkie, you’re going to…” Twilight begins to say before tripping and catching herself on the wood structure that holds the cooking pot, which causes her eyes to go wide. “It’s not hot? How is that possible?” Twilight then asks aloud as she looks at the rest of the girls.
“Don’t know, don’t care, I just want to cream the guys that…” Rainbow begins to say before Pinkie cuts her off.
“Done,” Pinkie says happily as she takes her hand off the cooking pot and goes to the hatch. “HEY WE’RE DONE!!!” Pinkie yells loudly,
“I didn’t think I’d hear the CRV from Pinkie of all people,” Sunset says as she tries to clear her ears like the rest of the girls.
But after that loud proclamation the girls go and crowd around the hatch just as a new man, with dark brown/ dirty blonde hair walks up.
“Prove it,” is all the new man says in a cold tone.
“Okie doki,” Pinkie says before looking at her implant and the dropping something to the person.
At which point the person picks it up and looks at their own implant as all the girls stay silent hoping they didn’t mess up.
“GET WASD, WHILE I PREP THE WAR ROOM!” is all he says as the girls let out the breath they didn’t know they were holding as they watch a large platform rise up to the hatch.
“Now boarding air WASD, please remain seated until the Quetzal has come to a complete stop,” They hear the man that they were talking with earlier say from beyond the wall. Which causes the girls to laugh a little at his humour as they get on.
As he descends to the ground the girls look around and see a large encampment and look in awe at the variety of creatures.
“Want an aerial tour of the compound?” The man asks.
“Yes please.” The girls say politely.
After saying that they stop descending and start to gain altitude and go towards the large stone walls.
“Our first stop is the perimeter, surrounded by 2 large stone walls stacked on top of each other for each wall, and with 3 exits, those 3 exits are stone behemoth gates with the doors being reinforced,” the man says as he flies the group past each section of the encampment and shows the wall and three exits.
“Next, in this corner we have the Daeodon pen for when we are ready for end,” The man then flies the group over a small pen with three pig like creatures in it.
“Awww, they look so cute,” Fluttershy says as she watches the three Daeodons.
“Not as cute as the only tame allowed inside the base,” the man says happily as he then flies over the entire base and the girls see a wide variety of things.
“Next to the base we have our water reserves, on the other side we have our beer barrel, while next to the water reserves is the green house, the small hexagonal like structure is the Achatina pen, and since they like darkness it’s why it’s covered,” the man says as he points to each location.
“Whoo we, dat dere base of urs seems mighty strong, but what about de creatures roaming around?” Applejack asks.
“I was just about to get to that,” the man calmly replies as he slowly flies to the ground once more, “we have our Baryonxs, Yutyrannus, and the beginnings of our Rex army,” the man says, but as soon as “army” leaves his mouth the girls become nervous just as they all land and all the T-Rex’s begin to head towards them, but the man let’s out a whistle and all of them stop.
“A tour, we’re not here to have fun, we’re here to get home,” the girls head behind them, as they turn around the see the other man with a stern look on his face.
“They need to know the base if they’re going to help,” the other man says calmly as he walks towards the other man.
“…fine…just get them in, and into the war room,” the other responds before turning around and going inside the tower.
“And…there?” Rainbow asks.
“Home base. Industrial forge, massive storage, and nearly everything needed to craft anything,” their friendly guide says leading them inside.
As soon as they enter they see a Fabricator, Smithing Table, a whole wall covered in circular tables stacked on top of each other.
“Up the ladder…” the one man says before the other man comes up behind him and glares at him, “…which I’ll go up first,” the man says before grumbling while going up the ladder.
“Before you go,” the other man says as they approach the ladder, and hands them each their things back, including their geodes, “Your things back, cause once we have the supplies, we’re making you better armour. Now please climb up to the top floor,” the man says calmly but coldly and gives them room to climb.
Once on the top floor the girls see large wooden tables stacked side by side to make a larger table, surrounded with chairs, and on these tables, are all the notes Twilight had.
“Wait, are you the author of the notes we found?” Twilight asks as she is the last up into the room.
“Yes, I am, and if not for the 2 days worth of notes, I may have lost my mind, but I’m thankful to have found my friend here,” the man then surprises the girls by giving a warm smile and patting his friend on the shoulder as soon as he comes up behind Twilight.
“I have so many questions,” Twilight begins to say but the man then gives her a look and begins to walk past them, and sit at the table. Which the girls follow suit and do the sam at random seats.
“Now, first things first, names, I will not give you my real name, I will be nice enough, and give you my online name, which you may call me,” the man says calmly as he looks around the room as the girls all look at him confused.
“Why not your real name darling?” Rarity asks.
“Simple, because if we’re from the same place, I don’t want to end up possibly dying and then you tell my friends and family if you make it out here,” He says calmly but then takes a breath, “the name you may use for now is Cactus,” Cactus says calmly as he addresses the girls.
The other man stands up. “And you can call me Dave, it’s a nickname some of my friends call me so it’ll fit as well,” Dave answers before sitting back down.
“Okay, Dave, Cactus, what was your plan for us if we failed the test?” Sunset asks the two.
“First, we’d use one of you to test the respawn theory, which to simplify, we are stuck in the game ARK: Survival Evolved, so testing if the respawn worked would be nice to know. So we would kill one of you, and then the other would go flying around and see if they found you again, if so, it works, if not, we would know to continue being careful,” Cactus says surprisingly calmly, “and after the theory was tested we would then keep you as extra work to help speed things up,” Cactus says calmly
The girls look on in shock as Pinkie slowly gets up and walks to Cactus and gives him a creepy smile.
“And what changed your mind?” Pinkie asks creepily while retaining her creepy smile.
“Simple, so far, you have proven you’re not useless and aren’t going to get me, or my friend Dave there,” Cactus points at Dave as he says his name, “killed trying to save one of you, and it turns out that we don’t know if the respawn from the game is a thing,” Cactus says sternly not affected by Pinkie’s scary face.
As the girls slowly begin to nod at his reasoning but Sunset gets out of her seat and stands.
“And if we become useless?” Sunset asks sternly but is internally freaking out.
“We drop you, or try to get you out of being useless, it all depends on if we trust each other enough by then,” Cactus remains calm while explaining, “but enough about this, we still need to know your names,” he says cutting off any questions about earlier.
Pinkie is the first to stand up.
“Well, I’ll go first,” Pinkie then quickly decorates the room faster than anyone can blink, and as pinkie takes a breath to speak.
“OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! YOU’RE PINKIE PIE!” Dave excitedly yells like a fanboy.
As soon as those words leave his mouth Cactus looks at Dave like he grew a second head and the girls’ jaws drop, especially Pinkies.
“There’s no way they’re…” Cactus begins to say before the girls cut him off.
“HOW DID YOU KNOW!?” They all yell curiously and confused.
THUD
Everyone turns to look at the thud, and sees Cactus’ head on the table, before repeatedly hitting his head against the table.
“Uh…is he okay?” Rainbow asks while pointing at him.
“Eeeeh…that depends, but before anything crazy can happen,” Dave says before looking at all the girls before smiling, “look into your implants and join our tribe, you’ll gain access to all our tames and items by joining,” Dave says happily as he goes over to Cactus and pats his back.
The girls look at each other before huddling around each other.
“Seems like a good idea, but I’m still worried about Cactus,” Sunset quietly says in the huddle.
“I don’t disagree with ya there Sunset, but how did that Dave feller know Pinkies name?” Applejack responds in the huddle.
“I’m with Applejack on this one, how did he know my name, NO ONE SHOULD KNOW MY SURPRISES!” Pinkie says quietly, even her shout sounds quiet enough for only them to here.
“I think we should. More help means getting home faster,” Fluttershy says quietly.
“And I agree Fluttershy, the more people we have helping the faster we get home, on top of that, I have a feeling they either know more information then they’re telling us, or are going to share that information with us once everything is discussed,” Twilight logically says.
“So, join until we’re strong enough to kick their butts then leave’em?” Rainbow says,
“No, until we know more, we agree, when we have all the information, we can make a better decision, and we take them with us to help them get home,” Sunset says calmly before breaking the huddle and looking at her implant, and accepting the Tribal invite.
Which the girls do as well while looking at Cactus still hitting his head on the table.
“Calm down Cactus, we have nine of us now, so work will breeze right on by,” Dave says while still comforting his friend.
“We’re dead, they won’t do what needs to be done to help get us home,” Cactus replies sternly.
“Well they’re in the tribe now, so all nine of us are gonna be working together,” Dave responds happily which causes Cactus to hit his head on the table hard enough to break it in two.
“…” Cactus slowly turns his head and looks at the girls. “To simplify the reason he knows so much, your world, is a world of fiction in ours, I lost a bet and had to watch everything that was out at the time of the end of season 6. And the only time I “enjoyed” it, was when they pulled another scene from another series called DBZ, into a couple minutes, that was the ONLY, time I “enjoyed” it,” Cactus responds calmly before cutting them off from asking questions, “and I know what each of your necklaces do now, so no reading my mind Sunset,” Cactus says sternly while glaring at Sunset.
Hearing all this they are in shock, but Sunset is looking at Cactus’ glare with a glare of her own.
“…I’m exchange you share any and all information you know, as well as theories you may have that’ll get us home,” Sunset says calmly while keeping her glare at Cactus.
“…only if you agree to do things my way,” Cactus rebukes.
“…girls?” Sunset turns and asks her friends.
“Deal,” they all say.
“Deal,” Sunset adds after hearing her friends agree.
“Then it’s a deal,” Cactus says calmly, “now please sit back down, and I’ll share everything I know, and our theories “ Cactus says quickly to make sure they stay and stick around.
As the girls sit, Sunset doesn’t take her eyes off of Cactus and gives him a mix between a glare and a neutral look.
Dave quickly stands up and gets onto the remains of the table and pulls out a sword, “Let’s get down to business, to…” Dave begins to sing when Pinkie lunges at Dave and hits him with a stick.
THWACK
“No, bad Dave, no ripping off someone else’s work,” Pinkie yells after hitting Dave with a stick,
“…how’d you get the stick?” Dave asks rubbing his head.
“No clue,” Pinkie says happily before throwing away the stick.
“But…but,” Dave begins to say sadly.
“As you always say, but with her name replacing logic,” Cactus says with a shit eating grin plastered on his face, “It’s Pinkie Pie, don’t question it,” he says cockily as if he got some unseen revenge with that comment.
“…fine,” Dave says getting off the remains of the table and returning to his seat.
“Now with that out of the way, we have a few theories, the biggest, and most important one, is which system are we on,” Cactus begins to say.
“We started on a Switch,” Pinkie says happily as she sits back in her seat.
“And we are using my laptop, which can barely handle the game, so until we can test otherwise, we are taking no risks,” Cactus says sternly.
“So what does that mean?” Twilight asks.
“When mutation stacking for the Rex army, we kill off the ones that don’t belong,” Cactus says coldly before all the other girls look at Fluttershy who is giving Cactus a death glare.
“Killing innocent babies is wrong, why would you do that!? You are a heartless monster!” Fluttershy yells at Cactus.
“Well, not the first time I’ve been called a monster, and the reason, if my laptop crashes, we all die, no ifs, no ands, no buts,” Cactus says coldly while looking dead on into Fluttershys death glare.
Cactus and Fluttershy continue to glare at each other for what feels like forever until the girls hold Fluttershy and glare at Cactus.
“How do we find out?” Sunset asks coldly while glaring at Cactus still.
“…” Cactus’ glare looks at the others before letting out a sigh, “the most I’ve been able to handle on my laptop was 50 babies, with lag starting on the 45th one, so I’m willing to test that, but if we start experiencing anything like lag here, we do it my way, if it’s on the switch, we can spare them and keep them as meat collectors,” Cactus says calmly before leaning back in his seat.
“Any more information?” Sunset asks as the girls accept his prior answer and sit down, while still glaring at Cactus.
“We also have three theories on how to escape,” Cactus says.
“And they are?” Twilight asks.
“One, we “ascend” off the island. Two, we beat extinction. Three, we beat the entirety of ARK’s story,” Cactus says lifting a finger for each number.
“And how do we “ascend”?” Twilight asks.
“Simple, we beat the “guardians” of the island, which aren’t guardians at all, they stop people from leaving the ARK that aren’t worthy of leaving, so we need to beat them to leave, and before you ask, we need to beat them at their strongest in case it’s two or three,” Cactus says calmly.
“And who are the guardians?” Rainbow asks.
“My notes already say it, BroodMother Lystrixs, the Megapithicis, The Dragon, and finally the Overseer,” Cactus says calmly.
“And where do we find them?” Sunset asks.
“We don’t, we summon them at the obelisks where they transport up to 20 tames, and ten people, with nine, all of us would be summoned to their arena, the exception is the Overseer, who we have to go through a gauntlet with up to 50 tames and 20 people, and with us nine, we will still be let in,” Cactus says in a teacher like tone.
“And I’m guessing the Rex army is for taking them on?” Rainbow asks.
“Yup, as for mutations, they aren’t like real mutations, ARK mutations give a random colour to a section and boost one stat, so stacking mutations is key for the bosses we’ll be fighting, because if we go in for easy versions, and it’s beat all of ARK, we won’t stand a chance against the end, it’s why I say we need to beat them at their strongest to become as powerful as we all can,” Cactus says while retaining his teaching voice.
Hearing this the girls look at him and reluctantly agree.
“Now, once each boss is beaten they drop a flag, a trophy, which is their head, and one other item, which I will tell you about once we get it, and the reason I want it under lock and key,” Cactus says sternly.
“And why’s that?” Sunset and Twilight ask at the same time.
“Simple version, most powerful gear in the game is made with it, and has massive lore about it I will tell you all when we collect it,” Cactus says calmly.
“So the notes, they were for each of the parts of the game?” Twilight asks.
“Yes, it’s why each note is as extensive as they are, with each one covering a different map, because each story part of ARK is on a different map, where we would all start from scratch once more and have to gather everything from square one, except for our levels,” Cactus says calmly while looking around the room.
“We figured that out. But for the lore, why do we need to know it?” Rainbow asks.
“Because we don’t want history repeating itself,” Cactus, Sunset, and Twilight all say to Rainbow.
“Is that all darlings?” Rarity asks.
“Well they probably have questions about us,” Pinkie says.
“Nope, you are fiction where we’re from, and with Dave being a fan,” Cactus points to Dave who is still rubbing the spot Pinkie hit him on the head, “I can just ask him and he should know,” Cactus says showing a bit of a smile before getting up and handing Dave some food.
“Okay, what about living arrangements?” Sunset asks.
“You can build yours within the walls, but until then, you can stay in here. It just means we also need to prep more,” Cactus says calmly.
“Prep for the bosses?” Rainbow asks.
“Yes, we need each person here to have the best gear we can make, which costs a lot of materials, so we need to work to make two ascendant pump action shot guns for everyone, two sets of ascendant flak armour for everyone, two sets of the strongest armour, two sets of the best long ranged weapon you can get here on the island, the ammo for each weapon, and the supplies to make each piece of ammo and the weapons themselves,” Cactus says as he leans on his chair.
“Overkill much?” Applejack says.
“In our world someone did all this solo with all that…and lost all their tames and had to do the entirety of the Overseer fight on foot,” Cactus says bluntly.
“Point made,” Applejack says.
“Now, with all this, meeting adjourned,” Cactus says before heading down the ladder leaving Dave and the girls alone.
“What’s his problem?” Rainbow says.
“It’s not my story to tell, but it’s how he has to act even outside of this game, no emotion, no love, no friends, he does let it slip out around friends, but since he doesn’t really know you, or trust you, he’ll do what he always does to new people,” Dave says before taking breath and biting the inside of his lip, “be cold and hard on the outside, and when you get to know him, he’s warm, and cuddly on the inside for his friends, and a fighter to defend his friends,” Dave says sternly but happily.
“Thanks, but we don’t really think he’s a good guy, why not leave him and us 8 work together to get out?” Rainbow asks.
“Because he’s saved my life here more than once, and even saved my entire life outside of here, I owe him everything I am, and I won’t leave him behind, even if it was to save my own skin,” Dave says sternly while looking at Rainbow.
“So, cold and hard exterior but warm fluffy inside…sounds like a candy,” Pinkie says happily.
“Trust me, when you truly get to know him and he trusts you, you’ll see what I mean,” Dave says.
“Okay, but for now girls, let’s get to work!” Sunset says happily raising her hand into the air.
After their meeting in the war room the girls begin to explore and look in each and every Crafting Table, Fabricator, Large Storage Boxes, Small Storage Boxes, Fridges, Preserving Bins, Mortar and Pestles, Chem Benches, and S+ Crafting Tables that they can to see what they have as a collective group.
“Hmmm…this guy has an entire fabricator dedicated to Polymer, and half of one to Electronics,” Twilight says as she explores the fabricators.
“Ug, all these outfits are positively dreadful, do they have no sense of fashion here?” Rarity annoyedly complains.
“These S+ Crafting Tables look to be filled with a combination of Hide, Fiber, Chitin, Charcoal, Gun Powder, SparkPowder, and many other things,” Sunset says as she finishes looking through the S+ Crafting Stations.
“Down here seems to be a general crafting area,” Rainbow reports.
“And these feeding troughs filled with raw meat, raw fish meat, and something called a Mejoberry,” Pinkie says before digging back into the Mejoberry trough.
“Pinkie,” Sunset replies shaking her head at Pinkies antics, “Okay, we know they have supplies that may help us, but for now, let’s just split up to decide where we’ll build out base, and see what Cactus and Dave are up to, sound good?” Sunset asks the girls.
“Sounds good to me,” Pinkie says popping up behind Sunset, “I call dibs on Build Team,” Pinkie calls out as she pulls out a pink flag with her three ballon mark on it.
“I want to see what that monster Cactus is up to,” Fluttershy says surprisingly menacingly.
“That Dave fellow was such a gentleman to us so I’ll go see what he’s up to,” Rarity says with a hint of swooning in her voice.
“Ah’ll make sure Rarity ere, doesn’t try to distract im from whatever he’s doin,” Applejack says.
“I’ll go with Pinkie to help with construction and building of our base,” Twilight says and stands beside Pinkie.
“Then I’ll join Fluttershy and try to make sure they don’t fight,” Sunset says as she joins Fluttershy.
“And I’ll join Pinkie to get our awesome base done quickly,” Rainbow says cockily before joining Twilight and Pinkie.
“Meet up back at the tower here after we’re done or the sun sets?” Sunset asks the rest of the girls.
“Makes sense,” Twilight says,
“Agreed,” the rest of the girls say with a nod, before splitting off into their respective tasks.
As Fluttershy and Sunset begin their walk around the tower they see Cactus near the water supply surrounded by torches.
“And what pray tell are you…” Fluttershy begins to berate before seeing what is near the torches and promptly goes quite and looks on with a smile.
“Yes, before you ask I’m working on getting you all Baryonyx’s so we can make an Artifact run,” Cactus says coldly as the egg hatches and reveals a set of twin Baryonyx.
“So cute!” Fluttershy says loudly before taking the two of them in her arms and cuddling them.
“Well, I WAS going to look at their stats to make sure their strong enough, but nonetheless, they seem to be mutated based off of the underbelly,” Cactus says as he walks up to Fluttershy and places his hand on one as he holds a note in the other.
Which makes Fluttershy promptly pull the baby Baryonyx away from him only after a look that lasted less than a second.
“YOU WILL NOT HURT THESE…” Fluttershy begins to yell before Cactus just walks away from Fluttershy and to Sunset.
“They’re good, they got a Stam mutation, and based off of their Imprint bonus, Fluttershy seems to increase those numbers, and even give a higher Imprint bonus when doing what is needed,” Cactus says as he walks to a small nest with a Dodo in it, places his hand on the nest, and then returns to where Fluttershy is still cuddling the babies.
“Please move so I can raise and check 5 perfect Barries for the cave run, because we’re going into a very dangerous cave if we go in under prepared,” Cactus says in a combination of coldly, but politely.
“And if they aren’t perfect?” Fluttershy asks coldly while cuddling the babies.
“I keep them until we truly find out if it’s my laptop or your switch,” Cactus says calmly while looking at Fluttershy who is using her Stare at him.
After hearing his answer Fluttershy gets up and walks away to care for the twins. At which point Sunset goes to follow but…
“I’d recommend not getting too attached to those twins, either one or both will end up gone,” Cactus says coldly to Sunset as she is just about to leave.
“And how do you know that?” Sunset asks worriedly.
“Because, when we ascend, we only have our gear, and none of our tames will join us on the rest of our journey, and even then, I know how to keep them going, but it’s impossible in our current situation,” Cactus says coldly, but with a hint of compassion in his voice as he walks past Sunset and whispers into her ear, “You’ll know when the right things must be done,” Cactis says before going back to looking for 5 more perfect Baryonyx.
Hearing this Sunset looks at Cactus with worry and confusion before shaking her head and going to join Fluttershy in raising the twin Baryonyx.
As Pinkie, Twilight, and Rainbow walk around the compound they notice the many creatures that litter around within the walls. Some Twilight recognizes, others, she has never heard of from history.
“I get the Daeodon, that makes sense for the Ice Age, but a Yutyrannus, the dinosaurs were extinct and even if they did survive, they wouldn’t be able to live in the cold long enough for one too…” Twilight begins ranting before Rainbow Nudges Twilights arm.
“Relax Twi, we know we’re stuck in a game, so don’t try to decode the entire game like that Cactus guy, heck, I think that if we left the two of you alone, you may come out with a new Boyfriend,” Rainbow jokingly tells Twilight, loud enough for Pinkie to hear.
“But if they did get together then when we go home wouldn’t Cactus go home as well, and even then he said him and Dave were from a world where everything we know is fiction to them?” Pinkie Pie asks which makes Twilight look at Pinkie in shock.
“…that’s actually pretty sound…but I don’t think I’ll fall for him, he’s just…how do I put this…cold, empty, heartless,” Twilight says while thinking about what to call Cactus.
“Ya, you are right, killing innocent creatures is not cool, it makes him 100% less cool,” Rainbow then sighs, “But as you and Sunset said, get information from him and see if he can help, and even then, help him and Dave get home,” Rainbow says calmly.
“But you also have to think about what Dave said about Mr mean old grumpy pants Cactus,” Pinkie points out as she points to the two of their heads.
And after hearing Pinkie say that the two of them think back to what Dave said, that Cactus is cold to all people he doesn’t know, but to those that he knows and trusts, “he’s warm, and cuddly on the inside for his friends, and a fighter to defend his friends,” resounds in their thoughts as they continue to look for a good place to build.
Meanwhile as Rarity and Applejack walk out they notice Dave looking at a large bird that he’s petting.
“Howdy, we just came to see what yer up to,” Applejack says with a wave.
“Oh, hey you two, I was about to make a metal run,” Dave responds as he turns around to face the two, “I’ll be needing to take Arrrg my Arrrrgentavis,” Dave then waits for a response, but seeing he isn’t getting one continues on, “along with Andy our Anklysourus to Metal Mountain cause he earns more metal than what we have access to,” Dave responds with a shrug.
“Well, I personally would be appalled to get my nails dirty, but I feel I could guard Arrg for you?” Rarity asks flirtatiously as she bats her eyes at him.
“Sorry Rarity, “ Dave then smirks and turns to face Applejack, “But you’re still welcome to join AJ,” Dave says calmly but doesn’t expect the right hook coming from Applejack, which sends him onto the ground.
“Nobody but my friends call me AJ, got it,” Applejack says with a stern gaze at Dave.
“First, nice hook, I’m surprised you don’t take up boxing in your spare time,” Dave says as he gets up, “and second, noted Applejack,” Dave then holds out his hand for a handshake from Applejack.
“Ya answer yer question,” Applejack takes Dave’s hand and uses her pendant to squeeze it as hard as she can without causing serious damage, “Apple family picking is…” Applejack begins to say but Dave cuts in.
“Either the Apple “bucking” technic or you punch the trees due to begin human, am I right? Cause Equestria you is bucking the trees,” Dave says with a smile.
“Punching, cause getting on ma hands and hittin a tree with both ma legs, would be slower than a snail in molasses,” Applejack says with a smile and releases Dave’s hand.
“But still, want to join me for a metal run?” Dave asks.
“No thank you darling,” Rarity says calmly before walking away.
“No thanks, but maybe some other time,” Applejack says with a smile before heading off.
“These chicks are hot, but I think I have an idea…a terribly awful, evil idea, mwhahaha,” Dave says jokingly to himself as he gets on Arrg, picks up Andy, and proceeds to fly to metal mountain.
Not long after Fluttershy is surprised to see how big the two babies have grown and all they have ever asked for is cuddles.
“I know you both like my cuddles but my friends need me too,” Fluttershy says calmly to them.
But afterwards she hears a whistle come from Cactus who is approaching, and not alone, but with 15 other babies, 5 of which, he seems to have isolated.
“What?” Fluttershy says with her Stare to Cactus.
“The five isolated ones are the perfect ones, the other 10, do what you want with,” Cactus says as he walks away, and back into the tower.
“Well, he seems to actually be keeping his agreement with us,” Sunset says as she comes up to Fluttershy after Cactus left.
“Sunset, what happened to you? You didn’t immediately follow after I took them? Are you okay?” Fluttershy asks as she tries to get out to the Baryonyx group she has made.
“After you left Cactus gave me some food for thought,” Sunset replies as she nervously grabs one of her arms and begins to rub it.
As Sunset left Cactus to his own she went to the tower to get some space to think.
As she climbed the ladder she thought about what Cactus had said, she knows she had done that once before when she was evil, but could she do it again, would it cost her, her friendships, her life, she didn’t know, there was too little known, and too many unknowns.
But as she’s lost deep in though, a small, adorable, fur hat wearing otter scampers up to her and just lays in her lap. At which point Sunset smiles and begins to pet the otter, and sees the name on it.
Otty Otterton I
Seeing this Sunsets let’s out a small laugh and continues to pet Otty, letting her thoughts run rampant, but petting Otty to keep them calm.
“Oh, was it anything rude or mean?” Fluttershy asks with concern.
“No…yes…I don’t know…but I’ll tell you when we’re all together, and that I had help with what he said,” Sunset says confused but then remembers how Otty helped her and then calms down in her response.
“Oh, well, I’d like to go Sunset but as you can see,” Fluttershy says meekly surrounded by the Baryonyx babies.
But before Sunset can respond, both Sunset and Fluttershy hear two whistles and the babies go into a group of the seven perfect Baryonyx, and the other ten go towards the Acatina pen.
“What?” Both Fluttershy and Sunset ask curiosly as the turn to where the whistle came from, and see Cactus stepping down the steps to the tower.
“I set them in groups to make it easier for organizing them, so the perfect ones can go with you, and the other ten can be raised by the S+ Nanny…and before you ask, no, it’s not a real person, it’s more along the lines of a golem, no mind of its own, can’t move, nor think, all it does is something simple, like the imprinting,” Cactus rambles on before going towards the Acatina pen without giving the girls a chance to respond or even ask questions.
“Well that was…both rude…but nice of him,” Fluttershy says surprised as she gets up and continues to take care of the young Baryonyx.
“Shall we go meet up with the others?” Sunset asks Fluttershy.
“Yes, I can’t wait for them to meet Barry, and Onyx,” Fluttershy says happily as she begins to walk away, but none of the seven young Baryonyx follow her.
“Um, please, come with us,” Fluttershy says kindly holding her amulet. Which causes her eyes to go wide and fall back.
At which point Sunset catches her, “What? Fluttershy what’s wrong? What did you hear?” Sunset asks concerned for her friend.
“It’s n-not what I heard…i-it’s…that…I d-didn’t hear…a-a-a-anything,” Fluttershy stammers out in a panic.
“What? But your amulet let’s you listen to animals, so why can’t you hear them?” Sunset asks curiously.
“”I think I can explain,” They hear Cactus’ voice behind the Baryonyx.
The two girls just look at him waiting for an answer.
“It relates to the lore, for now, that’s all I’m going to…” Cactus begins to say until his radio crackles to life and they hear Dave yelling,
“METAL MOUNTAIN HAS A GIGA NEAR THE MOUNTAIN TOP, RETURNING TO BASE TO GEAR UP AND GET BACKUP TO TAKE IT DOWN! I REPEAT GIGA ON METAL MOUNTAIN AND REQUESTING BACKUP!” Dave’s voice yells out through the Radio.
“Get the rest of your friends, I was inside preparing gear for all of you, so meet me outside the tower so I can gear you up,” Cactus says in a military tone as he rushes to the tower.
“With the way he said it, I say we get looking,” Sunset says worriedly which Fluttershy just nods at before the two of them split up and look for the rest.
As Twilight, Pinkie, and Rainbow find a spot, and Pinkie places their first Thatch Foundation after finding the Materials in some of the other tames around the base, Pinkie turns around to look at Rainbow and Twilight, but sees Sunset running up to them.
“Hiya, Sunset, how’s it going with Cactus and Fluttershy?” Pinkie asks as Twilight and Rainbow turn around and see Sunset panting as she stops in front of them.
“Ha…Dave…radioed…Cactus…about…something…called…a…Giga?” Sunset pants out before standing up and recomposing herself.
“What’s a Giga?” Rainbow asks Twilight.
“No clue, but by the way Dave was yelling and possibly panicking, I’d say it’s something very dangerous,” Sunset answers for Twilight.
“Then what are we waiting for? Let him go, and if he gets killed then it’s possible for us, and Dave to survive,” Rainbow says.
“Because Dave has said why when we asked him in the War Room, and he said he wouldn’t,” Twilight says calmly.
“Cactus asked us to meet outside the Tower, to help “gear us up” as he put it,” Sunset says, “so let’s go,” Sunset says before running back to the tower.
At which point Twilight, Pinkie, and Rainbow run behind her to catch up. Rainbow using her amulet to get to the tower first due to her super speed.
As Rarity and Applejack are walking around the tower they see a small out-cove behind the base with a door, and they see multiple colours shining behind the door.
“This must be where they keep all the good clothes,” Rarity says happily as she goes to the door and tries to open it.
But as she goes to open it a keypad appears in front of her vision.
“Oh dear, this door is locked? Why is that, do they only have one set of fabulous gear?” Rarity asks as she keeps trying to open the door.
“Rarity, don’t try ta open that door, there’s probably a reason it’s locked,” Applejack says to Rarity with a hand on her shoulder.
“None shall keep me from looking fabulous, these drab clothes do not mesh well together, while yes they cover up and protect us, I want to look fabulous as I do so,” Rarity says calmly.
As Applejack goes to respond they see Fluttershy run by them calling out their names.
“I reckon we see what Flutters wants to see us about,” Applejack tells Rarity.
“Fair enough, fabulousness can wait, our friends cannot,” Rarity declares as she walks out from the small out-cove with Applejack behind her.
“Over ere sugar cube,” Applejack yells out to Fluttershy.
“Oh, I was looking for you,” Fluttershy turns and looks at Applejack and Rarity, “But that’s not what matters, Dave radioed something to Cactus about a Giga, and requested help, and Cactus said to grab everyone so he can, “gear us up” as he put it,” Fluttershy explains and says Giga with some curiosity and worry in her voice.
“So what, we all need to “gear up” and help Dave deal with this “Giga”?” Rarity asks.
“Yes, he asked that we all meet up out front of the tower,” Fluttershy says before running back to the front of the tower.
“Well, you seem to like that Dave fellow, I think you may want to save his skin,” Applejack jokes to Rarity before running off to join the rest of her friends.
“Applejack you!” Rarity runs after Applejack
As soon as all the girls get to the door Cactus comes out and quickly stands in front of each girl before dropping a bag in front of each of them.
“Each bag has the same thing, Primitive Flak Armour set, Two Parachutes, a Primitive Longneck, 100 ammo for said Longneck, a Primitive Pump Action Shotgun, and 200 Ammo for said shotgun,” Cactus says as he then gets on WASD and lands the ramp in front of the girls. “Get on, we need to save Dave, Arrg, and Andy. I have the stuff made and in the Crafting Table to set up when we get there,” Cactus says in a military authoritarian tone.
“And why…” Rainbow begins to say as she puts on her armour.
“DON’T CARE, GET ON SO DAVE ISN'T FIGHTING THE STRONGEST CREATURE ON THIS ARK!” Cactus yells out, surprising the girls, not with his tone, but with his words.
But the girls do get on WASD and begin to fly to Metal Mountain, for a rescues mission.
Author’s Note: Well, who’s happy to see a Giga appear already. And who’s ready to see a Giga battle with this group of nine. Well, obviously, you’ll have to wait for the next chapter but until then, stay safe, have fun, and remember to…okay no more Pinkie, okay, and last of all, remember to smile.

Island: Rescue Mission
As the group flies towards Metal mountain the girls discuss what they know.
“So, whatever this “Giga” is, Cactus says it’s the strongest thing here?” Twilight asks the rest of the girls.
“So that should mean getting one on our side will help when Cactus eventually betrays us,” Rainbow says cockily as she loads up her guns.
“But if a Giga is the strongest thing here, what about the guardians?” Sunset asks the rest of the girls.
“Maybe he categorizes them in a way we don’t know yet?” Twilight responds.
Just as Twilight finishes speaking they hear Dave’s voice.
“HEY! GOOD THING YOU'RE HEAR! ARRG WAS ALMOST OUT OF STAM!” Dave yells to them from outside.
“GET YOUR ASS OFF ARRG, AND TAKE OVER! I’M GOING TO HOOK MYSELF OFF AND SHOOT IT!” Cactus yells.
“ROGER, ROGER,” Dave replies in a robotic sounding voice before hopping of Arrrg and then getting on WASD. While Cactus falls off WASD, pulls out a crossbow, and shoots WASD with a grappling hook. As Cactus then puts his crossbow away and begins to pepper the Giga with Shotgun shots.
As that happens the girls see them switch like that, and get their first look at a Giga.
“That thing looks like it could eat all of us easily!?” Sunset yells in a panic as they see below them that Cactus is shooting it repeatedly, only stopping to reload.
“GIRLS, MIND GIVING CACTUS A HAND! HE GAVE YOU LONGNECKS FOR A REASON!” Dave yells back to them louder than the shots Cactus is firing.
“But what about the Giga, he’s shooting to kill it?” Fluttershy asks.
“YES HE IS, CAUSE IF HE DOESN'T WE ALL DIE!” Dave yells at them.
But as soon as she hears this, Fluttershy opens the back doors and jumps out, opening her parachute to gently fall near the Giga.
“Run away Mr.Giga, they’re…” Fluttershy begins to speak but is promptly silenced by the Giga biting her, and all fall silent as twelve words appear at the top of their vision.
Your Tribemember Fluttershy - lvl 25 was killed by a Giganotosaurus - lvl 5
After reading this the colour on all the girls faces just vanishes as Cactus begins to pepper the Giga with more shots.
“Fluttershy…she…” Pinkie begins to cry out as Rainbow goes to jump out of the open door, but is stopped by Applejack.
“LISTEN, I KNOW YOU ALL ARE PROBABLY IN PAIN, BUT RIGHT NOW IF WE DON’T KILL THIS GIGA IT WILL KILL THE REST OF US, SO GRAB SOME CROSSBOWS, HOOK THEM UP WITH GRAPPLING HOOKS AND DO WHAT CACTUS IS DOING, KILLING THE GIGA!” Dave yells from the reigns of WASD.
After hearing this Rainbow escapes from Applejacks grip and does exactly that, jumping out the door, using the parachute, and then shooting the foundations of the base and begins peppering the Giga with her own longneck whilst yelling in rage.
“DAVE! WHAT DO YOU AND CACTUS KNOW ABOUT THE POSSIBLE RESPAWN LOCATIONS?” Sunset yells to Dave as Applejack and Pinkie follow Rainbows lead and begin adding their firepower to killing the Giga.
“SPAWN POINTS ARE ON THE OUTER PERIMETER OF THE ISLAND! SO AFTER WE KILL THIS THING HE’LL PROBABLY ORGANIZE US TO SEARCH FOR HER!” Dave yells back. But as Sunset goes to ask another question. “BUT SHE CAN ALSO RESPAWN AT THE BEDS WE HAVE AT THE BEACH SHACK, OR THE BASE AS WELL!” Dave adds to his comment.
“OKAY! SO WHY NOT SPLIT UP NOW?” Twilight asks over the gunfire below them.
“BECAUSE WE NEED ALL THE FIREPOWER WE CAN GET TO…” Dave begins to yell then stops. “HURRY IT UP YOU GUYS WASD’S ALMOST OUT OF STAM!” Dave yells to the group below.
“WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ITS OUT OF STAM?” Rarity asks.
“WE LAND IN FRONT OF THE GIGA AND ALL DIE PROBABLY!” Dave yells back,
“OKAY, WE KILL THIS THING THEN TALK MORE?” Sunset asks now afraid after seeing Fluttershy die.
“YES! NOW GET…” Dave begins to say until something appears at the top of their vision.

As they all see that and yell in celebration, WASD begins to descend.
“Why did you…” Sunset begins to ask but is cut off by Dave.
“Out of Stam, he’s auto landing, so when we land, let’s all grab some metal,” Dave says as he lands WASD properly and begins to go off to get some metal.
“I’ll grab the loot and the Apex drop from the Giga,” Cactus says un-hooking himself with his crossbow and walking over to the Giga corpse.
“I’ll…go look for Fluttershy,” Sunset says sadly as she gets off WASD and begins to look for Fluttershys corpse.
As Cactus, Sunset, and Dave do their own thing, the rest of the girls stand together. Crying as they hug each other.
As Cactus goes to the Giga he puts his hand on its corpse and begins to look through what it had.
He sees 20 tranquilizer arrows, 10 basic arrows, a few primitive stone picks and axes, and one of the two Giga hearts he knows he needs. Which Cactus takes everything before looking a bit up the mountain and seeing Dave gathering Metal. Seeing this, Cactus walks up and joins Dave in the gathering of more metal.
As Sunset looks for Fluttershys body she begins looking at the different rocks around her. Some are black, some are copper, some are a dark grey, and some have crystal’s jutting out of them.
“Quite a diverse set of rock formations. Pinkies sister Maud would probably love this place,” Sunset says to herself as she continues to look for her friends body.
As she looks she comes close to Dave and Cactus and listens in to their conversation.
“It sucks that Fluttershy died…she had the biggest ti…” Dave begins to say before getting slapped upside the head by Cactus.
“They are people too, and while she tried to do what she thought was right, she, and the rest of her friends, got to see only a sample of the danger on just THIS ark,” Cactus says as he rides Andy, destroying rocks and harvesting metal.
“You’re not wrong there. But I know you, you’re already thinking of theories on what re-spawing will do to us,” Dave replies with a smirk.
“You aren’t wrong Dave, but the more info we have about what happens, determines on what we do, and how we handle bosses,” Cactus says with a sigh.
“Well, if she did re-spawn, she’ll probably need some help from her friends,” Dave says kindly.
“Look, I’ll let them do what they want, but should they get either of us killed, I can, and WILL leave them for dead, or just kill them myself,” Cactus says coldly.
“And should they be useful?” Dave asks.
“Keep them with us and help them out as well,” Cactus says calmly as Sunset sees Andy moving slowly.
“Looks like he’s filled with metal, let’s get everyone back to base,” Dave says as he runs past Sunsets hiding spot.
Hearing all this Sunset then sneaks back to her friends. Unaware that Cactus saw her run from her hiding spot as he was unloading all the useless materials from Andy.
As Cactus and Dave return to WASD and the rest of the girls Cactus yells, “Alright everyone on WASD now so we can check back at base. Once we check the base, I can divide us into a search team and one to stick around at base,”
“And why should one group of us stay at base! We didn’t put you in charge!” Rainbow yells at Cactus as she marches up to him in anger.
“It’s because I have the most knowledge about ARK, AND, I have the base, the materials, and the blueprints. So if you think you can lead, go nuts, but by doing so you’ll be leaving this group and be on your own,” Cactus says to Rainbow.
“GRRR, fine! You lead for now!” Rainbow yells before getting on the mobile base on WASD’s back.
As the rest of the girls get on, all they can think about, is what happened to Fluttershy.
After a long and silent flight back Cactus lands WASD and gets off. While Dave walks Andy to the industrial forge, and the girls silently walk off and just hold one another. Not saying a word.
As Cactus enters the tower he goes to the ladder near the door and climbs up it to the floor with beds in it.
“Not here…I’ll have to look on the other floors,” Cactus says to himself before climbing up the ladder once more and begins searching the other floors.
After checking all the floors Cactus finds hide nor hair of Fluttershy.
“Looks like she isn’t in the tower,” Cactus says to himself as he now returns to the ground floor of the tower and leaves and bumps into Dave.
“Sorry Dave, but she’s not in there,” Cactus tells Dave.
“I wasn’t looking for her, I was going inside to repair my gear, I took a few hits from it,” Dave says with a smile as he rubs the back of his head.
“Fix it up, I can’t have you dying on me,” Cactus says kindly with a pat on Dave’s back and a smirk on his face as he walks past to go look for the girls and tell them of his plan.
"Looks like we're gonna split up, Rainbow, Pinkie, Applejack, and Dave will take some fliers and fly around the islands natural spawn locations," Cactus starts to say as Rainbow goes to speak Cactus cuts her off, "Natural spawn locations are on the outer ring of the Island like I heard Dave telling you, I'll take Travis and look at any cave bases I set up," He adds before walking off to Travis and flying off.
"Why does he think he can lead us?" Sunset asks the others, more curious about Cactus and Dave than anything as she remembers what she overhead on the Metal Mountain.
"Don't know, don't care, I say we kick his ass and take everything, and get home," Rainbow says as she pulls all her friends into a hug.
"Because Dave might not like it too much?” Pinkie says calmly.
“Or could there be more of a reason?” Twilight thinks aloud to her friends.
“That might be the case,” Sunset says while she looks to be thinking, and her friends look at her, “Because Cactus said we saw a sample of the dangers on this ARK,” Sunset begins to think aloud, “so with that being said…how many ARKs are there?” Sunset asks her friends.
“Six,” Twilight says curiously as her friends now look at her as she thinks. “The notes had six different general locations, and six different maps, so could it be six?” Twilight responds somewhat confidently.
“Possible, but if he knows more he might share if we’re,” Sunset says before doing air quotes, “Useful,” she adds calmly. “But we should get to looking for Fluttershy,” Sunset says calmly as she goes to work on her and her friends home for now.
A Couple Hours Later
Cactus manages to finish his search for Fluttershy around each of the Cave Bases he had set up, but has found no sign of her as he lets out an annoyed sigh.
“There’s only one last place I can think of…but I was hoping to keep that place a secret until we beat one of the Guardians first,” Cactus says while both thinking to himself, and riding Travis to the spot he’s thinking of.
Authors Note: Well as you all probably read the blog post/ update post, you can all understand why this chapter took so long. Now, I am going to put this on hiatus, but not permanently. I do plan on coming back to this, I just need to find the spark that made me want to write this in the first place, so I’ll be playing ARK for a bit to find that spark.
