Dinoshy
A long long time ago. Like, millions of years ago, before the mane six became the spirits of the harmony, before Princess Luna was banished to the moon, before the three pony tribes existed, even before Grogar created the foul monsters.. there weren't any ponies, griffs, hyppogriffs, dragons, seaponies.. Only dinosaurs. Dinosaurs of every kind, herbivores, carnivores, omnivores and more! Some walked on land, some swam in the water and some were flying in the skyes. All of the dinosaurs came in different sizes, small, big and between the two. A good example was Fluttershy. She was a t-rex, a huge, blood thirsty predator, walking on two legs. With all of her sixty teeth in her mouth, she could easily break apart even the strongest bones in the world. Her overall scary, tall figure created nightmares in the little dino's eyes. Even the small raptors and brids ran away from her.
Even though her looks bringed terror in others' eyes, Fluttershy was timid and shy. Like any other dinosaur, she had a cutie mark on both of her hips. Her cutie mark exactly, were three pink butterflies, which showed a part of her true nature. Another thing that was showing her real personality, was her love for tiny innocent animals. No, not like eating them, but befriending them. Her favorite animal of all of them was Angel, a little white nuralagus, who was really far from being a true angel, like his name states.
Most of the time, when she tried befriending other dinos, they were moslty backing away slowly, ignoring her or running as fast as they could. That always made the poor dinosaur a little sad, but still, she knew a pretty good reason on why they're all afraid of her. Sometimes, well, rarely, when Fluttershy was having an outburst, she would attack every living thing infront of her, and if she was starving, she would tear them apart like a piece of leaf from the nearest tree around. Yes, her carnivours instincts and her need for meat was scaring the others around her. And that sure was upsetting.
Everything was going like any normal day for the shy rex until...
One day, while Fluttershy was taking a bath at the nearest lake, she noticed a few pterodactyls flying around. The t-rex really wished that she could fly, but she still had to accept the fact that her destiny was to walk and run on the ground, eat raw flesh and scare others. It sure sucked to have a life like that, and if you loved having a life like this.. then that's another thing to talk about.
The upset t-rex sighed.
"Sometimes i wonder.. why am i like this?"
Fluttershy could continue talking to herself, if Angel didn't interrupt her in the right moment. Fluttershy heard his rabbit squeaks, and turned her head around to see him.
"Oh, Angel.. What is it?" Fluttershy asked.
Angel didn't say anything, he just stared at his owner, with the typical frowned expression that only the classical Angel could do. That expression made Fluttershy's mind click.
"Ohh, of course! I forgot to feed you! Thanks for reminding me, Angel." Fluttershy smiled at the white nuralagus, who then hopped away, to Fluttershy's little cave, where he waited for her to arrive. Fluttershy slowly walked out of the water, then shook her body to dry it out of the water all over her. After that, the t-rex walked towards her home, which was of course, her small cave that could easily be mistaken for a small cozy cottage.
It was covered with alot of beautiful vines, flowers and roots coming from small and average sized trees on the roof side of the cave. The entrace for the cave itself was a pretty big hole, where even an Ursa Minor could fit surprisingly. At least the other dino creatures wouldn't have to worry about the Ursas, sence they didn't exist. And if both of them existed.. that would be another story!
"Here, Angel. I brought some fresh grass from behind the cave, just for you!"
Angel carefully sniffed the little pile of grass that his dino owner gave to him. Then, with no hesitation, he goubled it up for like a second. Thank goodness that this average-sized grass pile was enough to satisfy his hunger.
Fluttershy, laying on the ground beside her little pet, was smiling at him. Then she frowned, because she felt how her stomach growled. It was time. It was time for hunting, which was something that the cream colored t-rex didn't really enjoy. For obvious reasons that were pretty much explained earlier.
Fluttershy hid in the nearby bushes. Her today's target was a tiny raptor, with pale green skin, light gray feathers with light pink tips. The raptor was playing around in the empty field, trying to catch some butterflies. Fluttershy focused on her victim, and carefully walked towards the small dinosaur. One... step... second.. step.... And.. JUMP!!!
She ran towards the raptor, letting all of her predatory instincts control and help her in hunting. She needed the help, sence she didn't really had the energy to run. Thanks to her massive size, the t-rex was able to outrun and grab the scared raptor with her jaws. Her powerfull jaws were strong enough to break the spine of the small dinosaur and paralise it. The next thing she had to do is bring her prey home, so she wouldn't be seen by other dinos and ruin her own reputation even more.
Back at the cottage-like cave, Fluttershy dropped the now dead raptor on the dirty ground. It was now the time to eat.
The cream colored t-rex carved her razor-sharp teeth into the dying flesh of her prey, and tore a big piece of meat from the stomach area of the raptor. Then, she lifted her head up, and swallowed it. And then repeated her process of eating her prey all over again, for three other times.
After almost an hour, everything was devoured. Everything, except the bones, including the skull, ribs and tail bones.
Fluttershy's hunger was satisfied now.
A week has passed, and the other dinos' continued on fearing and teasing Fluttershy. The teasing was rarer than the fearing, but it was still enough to make Flutterhsy upset as before.
Things weren't getting any better, because a day later, the cream colored t-rex had another outburst, which scared the dinos even more than before, and made them hide even deeper in the forests. Fluttershy just couldn't take it anymore. All of the stress from being feared and teased, taking care for her spoiled yet caring nuralagus and basically forcing herself to take the lifes of others for her own good.
Fluttershy knew that she needed a proper place, where she could relax and clean up her mind from the negative thoughts.. Somewhere hidden yet still showing the beautiful land, somewhere that still has tiny animals roaming around and somewhere.. somewhere that has one of those.. relaxing music-producing crystals that worked with forbidden force called.. magic. Something that was clearly going to be using in the near future.
At evening, Fluttershy said her goodbye to her pet Angel. The t-rex was going to find this place from her dreams. Even if it's close to her cave or not, she knew that it'll be worth it searching on her own, with no help. All of this, all by herself.
"My plan is to find this beautiful place." Fluttershy said to nobody. "And after i find it, i will stop feeling as stressed as before!"
And then, after those confident words were said, the t-rex continued on her possibly short journey.
After probably ten hours of walking and panting on the deserted hill where now Fluttershy was, she finally stopped. She finally felt something different. The scent of lavender. That gave her the streght to run as fast as she could to her destination. At that moment, her strong legs looked like they would never stop and never break from walking too much.
It was a good perk of having big and strong legs. Hardly getting tired.
"I.. I think i found it!!" Fluttershy happily cried. "The place from my dreams!"
The place was right on the top of the tallest hill on Fluttershy's homeland. It was like a castle without the right structures, like a tiny forest, covered in lavender-like plants. Branches and vines of lavender, hanging from everywhere in the place. The lavender colored petals floating around from the wind, spreading the beautiful scent around.
When Fluttershy entered the tiny lavender forest, things got even better..
..The scent was intensifying, and the view around was getting more and more gorgeous. After half a minute of walking, the t-rex noticed an average sized pond. It looked so magical, sparkles everywhere from the sunlight. The water was clear, while still looking like clear sea water, with alot of blue color schemes. While the sunlight was creating an unforgetting atmosphere, the tree, right at the east edge of the pond, was creating the best shadow over the water, incase someone was feeling a little too hot in the hotter days.
Now.. all that Fluttershy had to do, was to sink into the relaxing water, not caring about the negativity anymore. She did it. It felt as amazing as she expected. This was the moment that she knew, that this place, from now on, will be her special place for relaxing.
