After loosing a duel against his friend Yusei Fudo on the death course, Antinomy gets another chance at life and brings Accel Synchro to Equestria.

Antinomy used the last bit of fuel in his duel runner to give Yusei the extra boost he needed to escape the death course. As his duel runner began to malfunction, he was sucked into the oncoming black hole as he recalls all the time he spent with Yusei and doesn't regret any moment of it. Bruno accepts his fate as he falls into the black hole to be erased from existence, but the memories inside of him create a spark of life inside of him. This mere spark was enough to turn what would've been the end into a waypoint.

“Bruno! Jump on!” Yusei reached out a hand to try and grab his friend, “We can both get out of here!”

“I can’t.” Antinomy said, “As stated before, for the winner to escape the loser must perish.”

Antinomy slowed his duel runner and lined up behind Yusei’s red one. He could feel the black hole’s immense gravity crushing him, any closer to its core and he’d be immediately crushed to death. Antinomy checked the fuel in his duel runner, he had just enough left to make sure that Yusei would escape.

“Yusei, I’ve taught you the secrets of delta accel.” Antinomy said

Antinomy rammed his fuel runner into Yusei’s faster than his own duel runner’s suggested speed speed, igniting sparks in the air from it going beyond its limits. He tore his glasses and helmet off his head and threw them at Yusei so he had something to remember him by, accidentally cutting himself under his eye in the process.

“Discover your own delta accel and change the future!” Antinomy said “It’s all in your hands now! Yusei, use delta accel to defeat Z-one and change the future!”

Reaching breaking point speeds, Antinomy managed to push Yusei’s duel runner into automatically shifting into faster than lightspeed. Whether he wanted to or not, Yusei would escape to the rest of his friends. Antinomy knew that to change the future either he or Yusei had to perish, and Yusei had proven that he was more than strong enough to overcome every obstacle he would face.

“Bruunnoooo!!” Yusei screamed as he was forced out of the death course and back into reality.

Antinomy’s duel runner began to malfunction as he began losing control causing him to tumble into the oncoming black hole. He couldn’t help but smile in the face of death knowing that Yusei will change the future for the better. Bruno recalled all the time he spent with Yusei, his friend. And soon came to mind the rest of his friends, Jack, Crow, Leo, and all the rest of team 5ds. He felt his bones begin crush under the weight of the black hole, sudden a loud voice talked directly to him.

“Master Antinomy,” the voice called out, “It still isn’t your time yet, you still have so much left to do.”

“Tech Genus Halberd Cannon!” Bruno knew who was talking, but he didn’t know how he knew, “what do you mean? I’ve already completed my mission here, and Yusei will change the future.”

“You weren’t just made to make a better future in just one world. You need to create a better future for all worlds!” T.G. Halberd Cannon said, “I’ll lend you our power to create a new waypoint.”

Through his mind’s eye, Antinomy saw Halberd Cannon touch his soul creating a golden spark glow. Realising his new mission, Antinomy’s world began to shake as he felt the death course begin tearing apart.

Twilight and her friends walked through the everfree forest, a few weeks ago they found a clearing and they decided that it would be a great place for a picnic for a day like today. On rare occasions the everfree forest was safe for the average pony, luckily Fluttershy had researched enough about the predators in the forest to know that the ones who could consider ponies food had all migrated to a different part of the forest.

“It’s nice to enjoy the natural beauty of the forest, isn’t it darling?” Rarity commented

“And here I thought you were too fancy to enjoy getting your hooves dirty while walking in the forest.” Applejack teased, “Are you sure that you’re our Rarity?”

“Yeah!” Rainbow Dash interjected, “The Rarity we know would slouch down on her drama couch and bawl her eyes out if she got the slightest speck of dirt in her mane.”

Rarity was astonished at the outlandish interpretation of herself, “Just because of some dirt in my mane you think that my couch will just appear out of thin air for me to cry on?” When both of her friends nodded, Rarity’s expression became even more over the top. “I’m startled that you'd even think that. And besides, I’m pretty sure Pinkie is the only one who can do that.”

“What? You mean like this?” Pinkie Pie said as she pulled a paddle ball out of her mane and started playing with it.

The friends all laughed with each other at their humorous display. They all continued on their journey to the clearing, until suddenly, loud footsteps could be heard dashing in their direction. They only grew more rampant and furious as they approached the friends.

“Oh no.” Twilight said, “Run!”

Only a moment ago the friends were just joking around, now they were being chased down by timberwolves, which should’ve already migrated to a different part of the forest for the summer. The friends tried to run as far away as they could before they would be overtaken by the wolves. Twilight knew that teleporting six ponies while running is an extremely risky task and there are so many things that could go wrong.

Right before they were about to be overtaken by the timberwolves, Twilight cast a shield spell to protect her friends. She made sure to brace for the impact of several hungry timberwolves, but that never came. She looked back, the timberwolves weren’t in a hunting pack… They were Fleeing!

“Uhh Twilight,” Fluttershy said, “You may want to look up there.”

Over the horizon of the trees stood the head of a red eyed metal giant, and from the looks of it he was completely armed and ready to fight. Eventually it began to illuminate yellow and disintegrate into shiny dust that just flew into the air.

“I think we should check it out.” Twilight said, “Someone might be in danger over there, or possibly even Equestria could be in danger because of whatever that was.”

The friends agreed with Twilight and all decided to go check out what happened over there. Once all the timber wolves were done fleeing, Twilight lowered her shield and they all began running over to where they had seen the giant. Coincidently, the direction they were headed was also in the same direction the clearing was. When the six friends arrived at the clearing, they saw a blue hair, bipedal, creature wearing padded clothing stumbling towards them.

“Go! Tech Genus,” Antinomy stopped for a moment to take a sharp breath in from pain, “Warwolf!”

Antinomy outstretched a hand with the card he called out, it began to glow yellow as the monster materialized in front of him. He had just enough energy to push himself forwards onto Warwolf’s back before passing out.

“Master Antinomy!” Warwolf yelled in a futile attempt to wake his master. Noticing the six mares in front of him, Warwolf began to bark orders. “You there! I need to get Master Antinomy to safety, get him to the nearest medical facility!”

“W-who are you?” Twilight asked in a somewhat shocked tone from Warwolf’s intimidating appearance.

“I Did Not Say For You To Ask Questions!” Warwolf Barked, “Where Is The Nearest Hospital? I Cannot Last In My Physical Form Much Longer! If I don’t reach there quickly, my master will die!”

They finally understood the urgency of the situation. “There is a hospital in Ponyville.” Twilight said, “Come on, let’s go!”

A few Hours Later,
At Canterlot Castle

Princess Celestia sat on her throne, it had been a slow day. The nobles were all busy doing their own business and her sister was taking a well deserved nap, after all she is the princess of the night, not the day. Celestia was about to doze off into sleep when a letter was sent vai dragon fire. Twilight retired from sending friendship reports, and rarely even sent her a ‘Hey, how are you doing?’ letter, so she knew this must be urgent. Opening the scroll the solar diarch began to read.

Dear Princess Celestia,
This letter is written to you in undetermined urgency, but it is urgent nonetheless.

A creature unknown to Equestria has appeared and I believe his name is Antinomy. We are currently unsure if he is a threat to Equestria, so I am reaching out to you to see if your many years of knowledge could Identify this creature and how dangerous he is. But when we discovered him he had the ability to summon some kind of cybernetically enhanced werewolf, and it possessed enough sentients to fluently speak our language. There are so many things that need to be mentioned, but it would be most effective to be mentioned face to face.

From your most faithful student,
Twilight Sparkle.

Celestia’s face went wide eyed, she quickly summoned a piece of paper and began writing a reply.

On my way.

Flying through the air, Celestia headed towards the Ponyville hospital. She didn’t want to alert the ponies with unnecessary fear, but she still needed to see just what had happened. If she read the letter correctly, this ‘Antinomy’ creature was completely unknown to equestria, and he had powers that were, from how Twilight described it, similar to the ancient dark magic of king Sombra. The mere memory of him sent shivers down her spine.

Landing in front of the white and red building. While her outside appearance didn’t show it, she was nervous as Tartarus on the inside. A never before seen creature appearing in equestria? In all her many years of life she had only seen this once before and that was when the first hippogriff was born. When she walked through the front door, all the ponies stood bewildered as Celestia continued to the front desk.

“Are the visitation hours still open?” Celestia inquired,

“Y-yes of course, your majesty.” The mare at the front desk said, “Who are you looking for?”

“I believe Twilight said his name was ‘Antinomy’.”

The mare pulled out a clipboard that had a name sorting enchant. She didn’t have to look for his name for very long as it was conveniently placed at the top.

“He should be in room 3 of the misc. wing of the hospital.”

“Thank you.” Celestia said as she trotted off to the miscellaneous wing

Despite this hospital wing being needed for the rarer cases of other creatures that got injured in Ponyville, she honestly hated how they named it. She feared the newcomer would think that it was meant as a derogatory term. Celestia was so lost in thought that she almost walked past the small misc. wing.

She stopped by the door and opened it, inside the room were the bearers of harmony all sitting around a bed with a blue haired creature on it. The six pony turned to Celestia when she arrived, they all bowed to her not wanting to offend her. Celestia was in fact stunned by the odd looking creature. Most ponies would have assumed that he was a scaleless, pre-molted dragon, but she knew better.

The creature that stood before her was a human, a creature that was extinct for so long that they were believed to only be a legend. The only reason why they were believed to be a legend was that around the 100 year anniversary of Celestia and Luna’s rule over equestria, they all disappeared without a trace. There was no violence, no bloodshed, just gone. It was a mystery she had given up on solving many years ago.

“Princess! Thank goodness you're here” Twilight said, “we found him in the everfree forest, I’ve checked all the books in the library for anything close to his species. The closest thing I could find was a-“

“He’s a human.” Celestia cut her student off, “It has been several thousand years since the last time I saw one, but I know one when I see one.”

“A human?” Twilight was in shock, “you mean those creatures from ancient legends? But that would also explain why the doctor’s healing magic had little effect.”

“Yes it would, but would you mind also filling me in on his condition?”

“Oh, right, that’s why you’re here.” Twilight stuttered trying to regain her thoughts, “the doctors said he more than likely has a few broken bones, but it was rather hard for them to get a good X-ray because of some metal implants he has.”

“Implants?”

“They’re cybernetics, they're designed to enhance reaction time and my physical functions.”

Celestia looked towards the human who gave her his answer. She was surprised how fast he awoke, it was only but a moment ago that he seemed completely unconscious but not he was sitting up staring at her with his grey eyes. They were focused, completely unwavering. He wasn’t just looking at her, but rather he seemed to be trying to see if he knew her from somewhere.

Lowering his head, the human brought his hand to his mouth as he began to think. Celestia noticed his odd blue hair, normally it wasn’t a rare color for a pony’s mane, but if she recalled correctly, it was exceptionally rare for humans. Celestia was perplexed at how he even got here, unless there was an uncounted factor that she was forgetting, but there wasn’t one. At least not for her.

“...Could this be what he was talking about?” Celestia heard him say, “but then… and how can these equines even talk. No, that is a different question… I need… No, that can’t be right…”

“Hey egghead!” Rainbow shouted at him, “Stop mumbling, you’re in the presence of royalty!”

The human was startled after hearing that, it was an over the top comedic startled, but more of a swift head turn to see what he had heard. He looked at the blue pegasus with an incredulous gaze, he wasn’t at her with curiosity at her statement but rather he was intrigued at her physiology. He nodded his head, affirming a question he had, before he went right back to his thoughts.

“Rainbow,” Celestia said, “I believe it would be best if you’d all let me handle this, it would be in all of our best interests if just the human and I would be left alone to talk.”

“Are you sure of this princess?” Twilight asked, “This human could be different from the ones you’ve met.”

“I’m quite sure, my little ponies.” Celestia said, “But if I need your assistance I’ll come and ask for it.”

The six bearers of harmony left the room as Celestia’s magic closed the door behind them. She returned to the side of the bed where he was still left in his thoughts. He was either completely oblivious or entirely aware that they were left in the room alone with her, but either way she must know the truth.

“My name is Princess Celestia, I am one of the two co-rulers of this land. What is your name?”

“My name is Antinomy,” He said, “And I was a mechanic.”

“Well it is a pleasure to meet you, Antinomy.” Celestia said, “I am hoping you wouldn’t mind me asking you a few questions.”

“Go ahead,” Antinomy replied, “Hopefully I can get some answers too.”

“I see. So first off, do you know where you are?” Celestia asked, Antinomy shook his head, “You are in equestria. A land of Friendship and magic.”

“Magic? I do not believe in such things as magic.” Antinomy said,

“Then perhaps maybe you’d like to reconsider what you believe in.” Celestia illuminated her horn and levitated a clipboard towards him.

Eyeing it incredulously, Antinomy grabbed the clipboard and flipped through its contents. He was so surprised that he could only utter one word. “How?”

“Unless you have studied the inner workings of pony anatomy and magic, then it would be hard to explain how on a simpler level.” Celestia said, “But there is something I must ask as well. How did you summon a werewolf?”

“A werewolf? Oh, you must mean warwolf.” Antinomy said, “But as of how, I am unsure. I usually need the assistance of a duel disk or D-wheeler.”

“Do you think you could recreate it?” Celestia asked,

“All I can promise is that I can try.” Antinomy said, as he took his deck out of his concealed pocket. Drawing the top card, he took a look at it and saw that it was safe to summon. “Go, Tech Genus Cyber Magician.”

The card in his hand began to glow bright yellow before it shot out beams of light from its picture. As quick as the light arrived, it faded back down to visible levels, breaking out of a white veil Cyber Magician was successfully summoned. Celestia looked down at the little monster, it was not much shorter than Twilight. She found it rather cute to look at rather than menacing. It seemed perplexed her as much as it did Antinomy.

“This is really interesting.” he said, “Come back Cyber Magician.”

And just like that, Cyber magician turned into bright yellow specs and went back into the card.

“I haven’t seen anything like this before in my life.” Celestia said, “It is really surprising that you can summon and unsummon such creatures at will. Even the strongest dark magic users had trouble sending their monsters back to the pits of tartarus.”

“I don’t have dark magic. Where I come from magic is nothing more than a myth, or even a fable.” Antinomy said, “This is going to be researched further.”

Eventually they continued into friendly conversation, talking about family and close friends. Celestia felt Antinomy start warming up to her, where there was once a calm and stoic face, it was replaced with a much more friendly one. While Bruno was trying to be as friendly and cooperative as possible, he was careful of what he said. As what kind of future he was needing to prevent was unknown to him, he could only assume that knowledge of it getting out could damage the future.

“Antinomy, I have a request.”

“What is it, princess?”

“When you are well, could you come to Canterlot?” Celestia said, “Your talents could be quite useful to equestria as a whole, and I have a feeling both you and Luna will get along just fine.”
