> The Two Sisters > by StelsunDarkstar > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Many or not so 'many' years ago.. in a city with an unknown name far away, there were two sisters who did everything together from the start of their beautiful childhood. That created the perfect harmony fot their big 'royal' family. The big sister was the smartest student in her whole class, which made her really popular among the other students, who liked her too. Not because she was a smart student, but because of her extrovented attitude. The old sister was a morning bird who didn't need an alarm clock to wake up. She would wash her face, eat her breakfast with pancakes and choose her clothes for the day with no problem. She would talk with her friends often, help them with homework if needed or help if someone's hurt. Her active relationship with her friends, grades and popularity made her parents really happy. The younger one on the other hand wasn't much of a success when it comes to grades. She would always return home with B's, C+'s or A-'s. In school, she still became popular like her older sister, but she would always earn less friends than her. Everytime when she asked them something, the other students would say their excuse on why their not able to do what she wants to do. That always made the younger one upset, but never truly sad. The younger sister was also a night owl, who adored the night and always stayed up late, which made her need an alarm clock to wake up. Despite her school popularity and having two-three friends, the young sister was a rather introverted kid. Most of the time when her friends or other kids from her class would invite her over to something, she would make up an excuse or just say 'no' to them, because of her introverted and shy attitude. Her family, including her sister were always ready to help her if she needed any help. Despite their differences, the two sisters were always there for eachother, which maintainedt the balance for their family, friends, and even their own personal lifes. But as time went on, the younger sister began feeling like an outcast. Even though her whole family and friends weren't wishing her any harm, she still felt something bitter in her heart. Maybe it was the hate for her shyness and introvertness or the fact that she felt lonely that she couldn't share with many people her love for the stars, moon and the night overall. As much as time went on and on, the young one started to feel rather.. envious towards her older sister. Maybe it was because of her brighter attitude, wider school popularity and wealthiness in school. Who knew? "You're a good sister, Tia. But.. why do you have to be always the better one? Is it because you are older than me?! What are you? Some sort of a royalty? A princess?!" One fateful day, the younger sister decided to try and change herself, to earn a different and better public image than her big sister. The older one tried to stop her actions by telling her to be who she really likes to be. "Luna, hey, let's not fight. There's no need of taking action when it's not necessary, so please, take off that jacket and let's talk about your problems." The young sister didn't had the right temper of talking politely to her sister about her problems, small or not, so she just ran away from her home. A week later, Luna was nowhere to be seen, in her school or class, nor in her home. Her parents were worrying sick about the younger one, but the old one on the other hand, had an idea of where might she be. Far away from the city, there was an old building where right now nobody lived in. It was the sisters's grandparents's mansion that looked like a gorgeous castle. The old sister knew that Luna might be there. When the sister arrived at the mansion, she carefully opened the door and looked around, hoping that she'll find her little sister. "Do NOT take another step!!" It was Luna, she showed herself from another door, but the shadow of the half dark room was still keeping her in the shadows and looked directly at her sister's eyes, who was looking back at her from far away. Then, the older one stepped a little foward. "Luna, please come home! You can't live here, because you're not even eightteen." This sentence made Luna a little annoyed. "If i'm coming home, then i need to make sure that there'll be only one 'princess of the family'." When Luna walked out of the shadows, she revealed that her clothes were changed, her hair has grown longer and the most noticible part.. she was holding a pocket knife, and she was running right at her sister. "LUNA??!!" Right before Luna could cause any harm to her, the old sister pushed her away. "Luna!! Stop this bullshit! I already told you that i WON'T fight you! Drop the knife and come with me!" "Luna?" The young girl frowned. "I am not 'Luna' anymore.. My name is Nightmare Moon! And i have no interest in returning home anymore. I just want to DESTROY YOU!!" The older sister wasn't really able to fight agaist a person with a sharp weapon, so she decided to run away, and to call the police. "And where do you think you're going?" She said as she violently ran towards her sister. The two ran and ran, and just as the older sister was about to open the door and exit the building, her little sister threw her weapon and it stabbed her in the shoulder. She screamed as the sharp blade cut thrue her skin, shaking, she fell on her knees, because of the pain. Her shirt got covered in the leaking warm blood. "IT'S THE POLICE, OPEN THE DOOR!!!" Both girls gasped from surprise. Then the older one opened the door with her last drops of stamina and the cops surrounded the younger girl. Luna was really shocked and had no choice but to surrender. At the end, she had to be sentenced with twelve months for attempted murder, which made her family really disappointed. Everyone felt really sad, including her big sister. Even without her little sister, the older one was still able to care for her family and herself. > Chapter 2: Epilogue > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- For twelve months everything felt like nothing bad ever happend. The older sister has moved on her own, sence she was nineteen. But now, that the twelve months were over, she had to go and take her little sister home. When she arrived at the police station, where her sister was waiting, the older girl looked around, making sure that she's alone just in case and then entered the station. An officer was waiting for her, together with the young girl, standing beside him. Her hair was cut short and she looked a little frowned. "Luna!" The older sister said when she saw her. The little one gasped when the old sister walked in. "It felt like thousand years since i saw you!" The officer was kind enough to let them hug, because he knew that Luna has changed for good. But before they could hug, she placed her hands on her shoulders and said to her. "Now it's time to put our differences behind us again. Will you accept my friendship again, Luna?" Tears started to form in the young girl's eyes. Then, she hugged her tightly. "I'm so sorry for everything! I've missed you so much, big sister!" The big sister patted her on the head to calm her from crying. "Shh, i've missed you too." When they went home, her big sister planned a party for her return from her sentence. This day was the one where both of them wanted to completely forget about the time when someone could end up hurt. Now, they just wanted to have fun and move on.
