Happy Birthday, Pinkie
All of Ponyvill was a buzz, today was birthday of the element of Laughter, Pinkie Pie.
Twilight and her friends were excited, not only because Pinkie was their friend, but she was the most funniest and cheekiest pony to hang out with, so Spike decided on having a party at Sugar Cube Corner for Pinkie's party.
"Great idea, Spike." Twilight said, nodding in agreement, so the main 5, along with Spike, went down to Sugar Cube Corner.
When they got there, they got to work on the party, Twilight was in charge of helping Mr. and Mrs. Cake with Pinkie's birthday cake, Spike was in charge of sending out invatations to everyone in Ponyvill, Rainbow Dash was in charge of setting up the decorations, Applejack was in charge of cooking the meals, Rarity was in charge of sorting Pinkie's presents into groups of colours, and Fluttershy was in charge of practing the animal choir for Pinkie's birthday song.
Twilight looked at the cookbook, looking at the recipe for birthday cake, "Looks like we need to get the cake mix, eggs and butter first, so that we can then mix them together, then put it in the oven, to make the cake." She said, showing the recipe to Mrs. Cake.
"Oh, well i'm sure we can do that." Mrs. Cake said with a smile on her face, "After all, it is the birthday of our favorite customer." Twilight then nodded in agreement, "That is good to hear, now let's get to work." She said, "You got it." Mr. Cake said, all three of them then got to work with the ingredients.
"Okay, that's the presents all sorted." Rarity said, sliding the last present into the group of red presents when Applejack trotted up to her, "How are the presents looking, Rarity?" She asked, Rarity turned to Applejack and replied, "Going good, so far, Applejack, i just need to keep these presents protected, just in case Rainbow Dash zooms past them."
Applejack then nodded in apreciation and said, "That's what i like to hear, Rarity, Pinkie Pie will be so proud." Rarity nodded in agreement and trotted to where Applejack had placed the food, all ready for the party.
"I see you have put the food around the table, Applejack, mind if i put some napkins around for everypony to use?" She asked.
Applejack shook her head, smiling, "Not at all, Rarity, go ahead." She said, Rarity grinned calmy, and went to work, setting up the napkins.
Rainbow Dash zoomed all around the place, setting up the balloons, the banners, the party hats and the streamers, she also worked on setting up the goodie bags for everypony.
"This will be the best party in the whole wide world." Rainbow said, nodding her head in apreciation as she zoomed around the room, meanwhile, Fluttershy was having a little trouble with getting the birds to sing at the right time, "Please, little birdies, you have to sing after Angel Bunny finishes his line." After much frustration, Fluttershy was able to get the birds singing, correctly, "There, that is much better." She said, sighing to herself.
Not long after, citizens of Ponyvill came to Sugar Cube Corner, to celebrate.
Meanwhile, outside, as Spike finished leading everypony in, he spotted Pinkie Pie, coming down the path to Sugar Cube Corner, whistling to herself.
Spike got shocked and race inside where Twilight finished putting the last decoration on Pinkie's birthday cake, "Pinkie's coming, Twilight, we have to hurry!" Spike said, still shocked, Twilight then got shocked and got everypony together, "Everypony must find a hiding spot as fast as they can, Pinkie is coming!" She said to everypony, hearing this, everypony scrambled around Sugar Cube Corner to find a hiding spot.
Once they managed to find one, Spike turned off the lights and went to hide with Twilight in her hiding spot.
Soon, Pinkie Pie trotted into Sugar Cube Corner, "Hey, who took out the lights?" She asked, looking around the dark room, feeling puzzled, "Looks like there's no pony around." Pinkie said, looking around, she then shrugged and said, "Oh well, i'll just turn them on."
She then trotted over to the lightswitch and switched on the lights, and as she did, all of friends popped out of their hiding spots.
"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PINKIE!" They all shouted with enthusiasum.
Pinkie then got surprised, "Wow! After all this time, i thought you have forgotten." She said with excitement, Twilight chuckled and trotted up to Pinkie, "We would never forget about your birthday, Pinkie, we are your friends, after all." She said.
Rarity nodded in agreement and said, "That is correct, Twilight." Twilight then nodded at Rarity in agreement, as well.
Twilight then turned back to Pinkie, "We have everything, all ready for your party, i finished the cake with Mr. and Mrs. Cake, Rarity got all the presents sorted, Applejack got the delicious meals ready which are on the table."
Applejack then trotted to the table, "Sure do, Twilight, i got Apple Pie, Apple Brown Betty, the desert, not my nanny, Apple Ice Cream, and, of course, Apple Slices for everyone." She said, Twilight chuckled and turned back to Pinkie.
"Rainbow Dash got all the decorations up, we invited everypony to the party, and best of all, Fluttershy has a little surprise for you." She said
Fluttershy shyly nodded in agreement and trotted over to the animal choir, she then conducted them to the Happy Birthday song, ending with the birds, tweeting in Barbershop Quartet style.
Pinkie jumped up and down in enthusiasum and turned to Twilight, "Thank you so much! This is the best birthday i can ever have!" She said, still with a lot of enthusiasum, Twilight chuckled and asked, "I had a feeling you would, Pinkie, so now then, shall we get the party started?"
Pinkie nodded and both her and Twilight then trotted to the rest of the ponies, so that they can begin the party.
Everypony had a fantastic time at the party, so did Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack and Spike, but the one who had the most fantastic and most spetacular time of all, was Pinkie Pie, for this was the best birthday she had ever had.
