During the night of Equestria Land, magic from Tantabus spread over from Equestria while turning the theme park into a horror park.

During that time of the mouth, The Rainbooms celebrate by watching horror movies while wearing costumes at Sunset’s place. But then they come up with a great idea to make one of their favorite movies come true, at Equestria Land! They want the final day of the month to be a night full of horror but also excitement with tons of their friends coming over.

But once Sunset’s friends and Vignette took care of redesigning in the theme park before nightfall, Equestrian Magic appeared and around that time during Equestria, Nightmare Night is celebrating while the offspring of Tantabus’s Magic transformed the entire park, including everyone who’s there.

Movies Of Horror

View Online

Sunset Shimmer and her friends have been doing their horror movie marathon ever since October had started. The final movie they are watching is a zombie movie, whilst wearing their costumes of their favorite horror movie characters. Sunset has her vampire outfit on along with her goth makeup, Rainbow has her marine uniform with a prop gun behind her back, Applejack wears a dirty farm outfit, representing one of the survivors escaping from the zombie apocalypse, Rarity wears a dark knight outfit that only she could afford, Pinkie Pie is dressed up as a zombie. and Twilight wears a mad scientist outfit after watching the Frankenstein movie yesterday.

“Is it almost done?” Fluttershy hiding being the couch.

“Yes…” Sunset sighed. “If you didn’t want to come while also refusing to wear a costume, you could've just told us.”

“I just wanted to watch that Nightmare Before Holiday film, it was spectacular.”

“Is that really worth hiding from all the horror moments in all of the movies we watched?” Rainbow replied.

“Yeah, you’ve spent the whole night hiding behind Sunset’s couch.” Twilight responded.

Fluttershy almost forgot how long she spent hiding, then leaving Sunset’s place after watching the only horror movie she picked for the marathon. To the point that even since this month began, she has never watched almost all the movies her friends picked out. She then heard the light switch flick on after her friends finished the zombie movie.

“You can get up now.” Applejack called, while Fluttershy stood up, seeing the end credits of the movie.

“Well that should be it for tonight.” Twilight said, feeling satisfied. “After watching three horror movies in a row, that’s enough for me.”

“Especially after watching those disturbing zombies rise from the ground.” Rarity added.

“Hey, at least it wasn’t rated R. They would’ve been more brutal.” Sunset replied.

With most of her friends taking their movies while also changing in the bathroom, Fluttershy is still standing behind the couch, still frozen in fear after hearing the screams from the movies.

“You really need to take your word legitimately, if you're willing to watch with us.” Sunset said, taking off her wig and taking the vampire teeth out of her mouth. “If the Nightmare Before Holiday movie is all you wanted to watch, you might have just stayed home and watched it.”

“I’m sorry, I just don’t like this holiday that much.” Fluttershy responded.

“If that’s the case, why do you keep going to parties celebrating this holiday?” Applejack called while still changing in the bathroom.

“You do this every single year.” Rainbow added. “During this time of the month, you avoid doing anything related to this holiday.”

“Rainbow, it’s not like she’s being dishonest, she’s just not into the spirit like the rest of us.” Twilight added.

This only made Fluttershy feel a lot more disappointed in herself. She celebrates all the holidays with her friends, but not this one in particular. “Maybe there’s nothing better for me to do when everyone is celebrating this time of year.”

“Hey, it’s fine if you don’t like this holiday, but all you’ve been doing is racking the leaves, even when most of the leaves are still attached to the trees.” Sunset recalled.

“Is there anything you could’ve done besides that?” Rainbow asked, putting her normal outfit back on.

During this time of the month, besides doing school work and helping animals, she didn’t even think of the other alternatives available, since Fall began. “Maybe...helping put up the decorations of people’s front yards?”

This only made Sunset roll her eyes. “You do realize if they learn about you not really liking this holiday, they would be better off doing the decorations by themselves.”

Fluttershy couldn’t even consider how much anyone around her would tell she’ll never be in the holiday spirit. It was a lot more complicated to find different alternatives nowadays for herself. She took a seat on Sunset’s couch while sighing in distress. “I just want to contribute something.”

As Sunset’s friends head outside the bathroom with their clothes back on, they all had one thing in common before entering the following month. “So what are we gonna do for the next three days?” Twilight asked. “We’re close to the end of the month and we’ve watched all the movies.”

“Yeah, we never went this far after watching every horror movie in our collections.” Rarity commented.

“How about we just call it a month?” Applejack offered. “It was exhausting to watch all of the movies since the month started. It’s not like we can make those movies a reality.”

They took the country girl’s word into consideration. It’s not accurate for a group to do a movie marathon involving horror and thriller. “You're right.” Sunset said.

“Wait!” Pinkie jumped from out of nowhere. “How about we make those movies a reality!?”

“You mean...like doing a party of all the movies we’ve just watched?” Rainbow wondered.

“Yes. It would be just like Bulk Biceps’ Costume Party, except we’re wearing costumes celebrating horror thrillers!”

“That seems like a good idea.” Twilight smiled.

“But don’t you think throwing a party with so many horror elements seems...claustrophobic when you realize we're throwing a party in a small house.” Rarity commented.

“Yeah it seems like it would be way more work than it's worth to fit everything in a building like this.” Applejack added.

Sunset found Pinkie Pie’s idea a great one at that, but she admits that if the party happens in one of his friend’s houses, it wouldn’t resolve the issue for how small the buildings are.

“Rarity.” Sunset turned to the Fashionista. “You say that Equestria Land is always closed in this season and the following season right?”

“Yeah, mainly the weather getting colder and colder, Vignette doesn’t want anyone to get a cold while going on the rides there.” She answered.

This gave Sunset an idea. It was an opportunity to invite many of their friends while redesigning the whole theme park with all the horror aesthetics, movies included.

“Let’s just say, she’s gonna have a lot of ticket sales for the first time this season.” Sunset smirked.

Fluttershy would love to be part of the party with all of her friends, but she’s worried she won’t fit in. She would rather make the choice by staying home instead of staying in the shadows during the whole night at Equestria Land.

The following day in Canterlot High, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie are working on the flyers for the Horror Party at Equestria Land with Applejack and Twilight talking to their classmates to help out on the decorations.

Sunset and Rarity agreed on the outfits they’re gonna wear at the party but they didn’t forget they have spare outfits. “So...you're thinking we should have an adult, wearing a dark princess outfit?” Sunset asked.

“Why yes.” Rarity closed her eyes. “You know someone can take the role of the dark princess since the adult actress plays the character in the film.”

“Okay, so what adult should we get to play the Dark Princess?”

“Way, ahead of you.” The two head to the office where the Principal and Vice Principal are working. Sunset didn’t think she wanted Celestia or Luna to be part of the horror party especially during a school night. She understands how much Rarity adores the Dark Princess film, but is still unsure if her principals would approve of the idea.

Rarity knocked on the door while receiving an answer. “Come in.” Celestia responded as Luna opened the door, allowing Rarity and Sunset to enter inside. “Is there anything you need?”

“We’re gonna throw a horror party at Equestria Land and Rarity wants an adult to be the Dark Princess.” Sunset answered.

The two principals remembered the time they watched the Dark Princess during their twenties, but they don’t consider it as their favorite horror film. “May I ask, why did you come to us? You should realize we don’t have any more weekends in this month.”

The two students had not forgotten the party was taking place on a school night, but they were fully aware of it. “But darlings, this holiday is mostly unappreciated. Kids going from house to house while wearing costumes to show their passion for this holiday.” Rarity closed her eyes in delight.

“Here’s the thing girls, we’re not as into this holiday unlike you.” Luna walked up from the left. “Yes we once enjoyed this occasion when we were your age, but it’s not like we always glorify horror in the present day.”

“And considering this party’s happening at a theme park, don’t you think it would make a difference if you had it at your houses?” Celestia asked.

“Because we wanted to celebrate all of the horror movies we’ve watched.” Sunset said while showing photos of the horror movies. “My friends feel like doing a party involving one or two horror movies...isn’t gonna make this holiday anything special.”

“So I’m guessing you watched more than twenty movies huh?”

“It’s called a marathon, have you ever had a marathon aside from school activity?”

The two adults look at each other, uncertain about the last time they ever had a marathon for themselves. Celestia always took her time on her personal activities compared to Luna who sometimes did a lot during the week.

“We did, but that was a long time ago.”

“How will one of us being in a Dark Princess outfit affect the party in a positive way?” Luna added. “I mean sure, I will say I enjoy the film and the lady actress does a splendid job as the Dark Princess, but there are other horror lady costumes I would prefer to wear.”

Sunset and Rarity would respect the opinion from their vice principal, but aside from that, they really didn’t have other options. “But Celestia, Luna, this is gonna be exciting.” Rarity said while placing her hand on the desk. “Think about it, the whole theme park will be way more than a party.”

“Yeah like a real life horror experience.” Sunset added. “And besides, you two had a great time during your trip to the Starswirl Festival. It wouldn’t hurt to at least spend one school night at Equestria Land.”

The sisters always remember most of the trips they took. Aside from the Starswirl Festival, they rarely went outside of their homes during the holidays, to really enjoy the theme of said holiday. All expect this holiday of horror and propaganda.

“On second thought, the more I think about it, Luna and I haven't watched a lot of horror films over the past five years.” Celestia responded. “Then again, me taking the role of the Dark Princess doesn’t seem so simple.”

“Then I’ll take the role, granted this is not Broadway, but I can rewatch the film before I can rent a costume for it.” Luna smiled.

“So, you two are coming to the horror party?” Sunset blinked.

“Yes. School night or not, we’ve barely done much when this month began.” Celestia answered. “As long as you have everything set up as an actual horror theme party to convince us, we would appreciate this holiday much more.”

With their Dark Princess solution taken care of, all that’s left for them is for Vignette and the others to decorate Equestria Land before the final day of the month arrives. Even if it would lead to so much time preparing for everything, it would be well worth the wait.

“Trust us Celestia, you wouldn’t believe what will happen when it’s unexpected.” Sunset smiled while heading outside the office door.

“And if your sister needs any help on the make up, I’ll take care of it if you call me.” Rarity following suit.

“We’ll work on that eventually.” Luna responded.

Nightfall Of The Equestrian Apocalypse

On the final day of the month, the Rainbooms manage to give their closest friends the invitations and thanks to Vignette, Equestria Land is fully decorated for the holiday.

“Can’t you believe we’re finally gonna do this tonight!?” Rainbow Dash cheered, while walking with her friends in the school hallway.

“Not to mention what we did in Equestria Land.” Applejack responded. “It tooks days to give it a brand new paint job.”

“Hey, if you wanna make everything a true horror experience, take some inspiration out of the horror films.” Sunset added.

“And make the costumes so convincing to make all of us true MONSTERS!” Pinkie squealed, eager to head to Equestria Land, but she still needed to get her costume from her house.

“Okay, we can all agree tonight is gonna be interesting, but this holiday is still all about historical propaganda.” Twilight chimed in. “Most of the students who we invited haven’t even watched a single horror movie unlike us.”

“True but they might get the references, when they get to the stands.” Sunset responded. “Have you ever gone to a horror party before?”

“Well...only once, but I barely did much there.”

“And I assume it was your days during Crystal Prep, wasn’t it?”

“It wasn’t as simple as I remember it, okay?”

“Then the Shadowbolts must have been very petty, even when they threw parties at their places.” Rainbow recalled.

With the Rainbooms all ready to have the horror party of all horror parties tonight, they still didn’t forget about Fluttershy. Over the last few days, their shy, but lovely friend had been alone while they were focusing on their horror party. When they stepped outside of the courtyard, they saw Fluttershy sitting on the steps, with her having no plans for herself today.

“You really think she’s gonna be the only person not coming?” Rarity wondered.

“Pretty much, she didn’t even accept the invitation we gave her.” Applejack added.

“I’ll go talk to her, you all get ready for the party at Equestria Land tonight.” Sunset makes the next move, while her friends leave Canterlot High. She sat next to Fluttershy, with her taking notice after days of not responding to her. “You’re absolutely sure staying at home would still be the right choice?”

“It’s not like I’m missing anything special.” Fluttershy responded.

“Well.” Sunset turned her head to the other direction. “We always make something special.”

“But not during this holiday. How am I supposed to contribute?”

Upon giving so many invitations to so many people, Sunset heard about what costumes they were gonna wear and at least a few were coming as superheroes. “Do you think wearing a simple costume doesn’t seem like enough?” Sunset asked, turning to Fluttershy, to which she nodded.

“I wanted to wear a pretty costume but...I can tell everyone at Equestria Land wouldn’t wear the same outfit as me.”

“Hey, when a party is all about horror, I really need to commit to it and so does everyone else.”

“But don’t you think that’s a little too...much?”

Sunset has noticed the many additions set up at Equestria Land during the decorating. “I wouldn’t agree with you, it’s mostly a collision of non-stop horror, but in a fun and semi-realistic way.”

“Seems over the top to me.”

Sunset sighed, while being a little annoyed. “It’s not over the top Fluttershy, if you can’t fit in then why can’t you see the bigger picture of this holiday?”

“Because horror is far more glorified than anything!” Fluttershy slowly raised her voice while quickly feeling regretful. “I may not like horror, unlike you, but...it’s impossible to make it feel truly believable.”

Even being slightly taken aback from the light outburst, it’s also the unshakeable truth. It’s far too difficult for Fluttershy to wear a horrifying costume to stand out like everyone else. Sunset had little time to invite her friend, who had to make her decision, so she only had one offer for her.

“How about you be a vampire like what I’m wearing tonight?” She responded. “You can follow my lead, while I show you how to contribute to the party tonight.”

Fluttershy never enjoyed vampires during the movie marathon, but with the other options not really appealing to her, she can’t even decide on which costume truly suits her. “You sure everyone would be fine with it?”

“Only during this holiday.”

With only a few hours until the party at Equestria Land started, there’s one other way to join back in at the last minute. Fluttershy can only hope if everything would work out for her, especially with her friends.

After Sunset went to her place to get into her costume along with Celestia and Luna picking her up, Fluttershy headed to Equestria Land in her own car. With the sun setting over the hills, nearly all the people with the invitations have arrived at Equestria Land in their costumes. As Fluttershy drove into the parking lot, she checked the theme park itself. In the entrance, it was decorated with spider webs, pumpkins carved in scary faces, and skeletons and witches displayed by the ticket stands.

She then parked her car and got out, upon receiving a text from Vignette that she’ll be responsible for the make up. When Fluttershy entered the park, everything around her was filled with horror themed activities. She knows how much her friends are great at setting up parties, especially the times she helped. However, compared to this party, it won’t be the same as before, and this commitment is only a way to impress her friends.

“Fluttershy!” Rainbow Dash called with her costume on. “Really great you’re not staying at home tonight.”

“Who are you supposed to be?” Fluttershy asked, taking notice of Rainbow’s hair dyed blue and pink with a smiley face hammer.

“I’m one of the characters from the two thousand sixteen movie.” Rainbow showing off her outfit. “Trust me, being like this instead of a marine is way better.”

“And it looks like you're really enjoying this.”

“Who doesn’t!?...well, I wouldn’t say you but…”

“Rainbow Dash.” Twilight called to the athletic girl, with her lab coat on. “Can you help us hide prices in the witch's pot?”

Upon hearing Twilight, Rainbow immediately rushed to help her, leaving Fluttershy alone. “I’m not into the horror spirit, I presume?” She guessed.

“Hey Fluttershy.” Applejack walked up to her in her dirty farm outfit. “Are you sure you're gonna enjoy yourself?”

“I wish I would, but Sunset’s helping me. I don’t feel like being a vampire would make me fit in.”

“It’s not that hard.” Applejack signed. “I’ve seen so many people here fitting in just as fine with their outfits.”

She wanted to believe the country girl for being honest, but unfortunately, seeing two girls in vampire outfits doesn't feel natural with everyone all wearing different outfits. “I’m starting to be convinced this party isn’t excited to see me. And it’s not the people themselves.”

Without continuing the subject, Fluttershy made her way to where Vignette was waiting. “Just keep an open mind, that’s what we want from you!” The country girl called.

Fluttershy saw Vignette preparing with her princess outfit on. Even if she’s not in a horror costume, she wasn’t doing the movie marathon like Sunset and the others were. “Just keep an open mind, just keep an open mind.” She said in her mind.

When she walked up from behind Vignette, it didn’t take long for the social media celebrity to turn around. “Oh Fluttershy.” She smiled while putting her phone away. “You're earlier than I was expecting.”

“Nothing here is special for me.” Fluttershy responded. “Do you have everything Sunset told you about?”

“All in here.” Vignette lifted her black suitcase filled with vampire equipment. “Don't worry, you'll be even better than what she’s wearing.”

This only caused the shy girl to roll her eyes. “How would I be better than my best friend? She’s been wearing that outfit since the month started.”

“Oh please, everytime I see Rarity wearing an outfit, she always outdone herself. You can do the same with her.”

“But what about the Skull Cruncher outfit you gave me? That’s a horror outfit.”

“It was only for the Starswirl Festival, you know you only rented the outfit, because you couldn’t afford it. Besides, the band isn’t available during this season.”

Fluttershy took a deep breath while dealing with her condition. “Vignette, do you think I’ll be scary as a vampire?”

Vignette didn’t think Fluttershy would ask a question about something she wasn’t into. As a matter of fact, she noticed that some people in the party are a lot more horrific with the effort they put in their costumes. When she looked closely at Fluttershy, she never imagined herself as a vampire, let alone being something else.

“Am I?” She asked again.

“No, you're not.” While being honest, she grabbed Fluttershy’s hand. “But if there’s one thing I know, you're still qualified.”

“Wait, are we supposed to wait until Rarity helps out?”

“I can be a good fashion designer just like her.” She takes her to the changing room while giving Fluttershy a total vampiric makeover.

After a half hour had passed, Pinkie Pie had just finished filling the pumpkins up with candy, Rarity double checked the whole park with the activities set up, and Twilight tested out the fog machines.

“I got a text from Sunset and she and the principals are on their way.” Twilight called. “Is Fluttershy changing right now?”

“She must be, I saw her with Vignette heading into the changing room.” Pinkie added.

“Without Rarity?” Applejack blinked. “I thought she was going to help with the make up.”

“She’s still checking the theme park.” Twilight turned to the country girl.

“Can we just give her a break?” Rainbow placing her hand on her hip. “Fluttershy’s not the best since she never wore a horror costume, after all the movies we watched.”

“But imagine her as a blood drinking vampire, she would’ve made the other vampires from the films look very embarrassed.” Pinkie commented.

“What do you want her to be? A zombie like you? She’s not addicted to sweets like you.”

“I’m not addicted!” Pinkie shouted at Rainbow. “Sweets make me feel so joyful and full of adrenaline!”

Her friends would rather keep it to themselves rather than infuriate the party animal. “Relax darlings.” Rarity walked up to her friends while wearing her superhero costume. “The party is going to start in twenty minutes.”

“So what are we gonna start with?” Applejack wondered.

“How about we have Twilight start with the mad scientist schtick where she puts a guy in a frankenstein costume?” Pinkie offered. “After all, we watched her movie pick last, she should be the one starting the horror thrill first.”

“Yeah, I was really becoming impatient by the time we reached the second week of the month.” Twilight takes her friends to where she along with her classmates to a tent with an open hole on the top. “You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to make this feel like the movie we watched.”

“You mean the scene that took place upstairs?” Applejack asked.

“Hey if we can’t turn Equestria Land into an actual horror environment, then we have to work with what we have.”

“Then again, it’s hard to make movies a reality. This theme park isn’t as big as we remembered.” Rarity commented.

“Do you wanna check inside?”

“How about we wait until the party starts?” Rarity grabbed Twilight’s arm before she headed inside the tent. “That way we can save our excitement.”

“Yeah, since you're the only one using a tent here.” Rainbow added.

“Why can’t you just let me show you my creative imagination come to life!?” Twilight reacted.

“It will, just not be before the party starts.” Pinkie backing away.

As the Rainbooms head to their spots in the party, a black and purple spark of magic flies over the theme park. Compared to other magical situations in the past, the spark was much more powerful than before.

“I’m just saying Twilight, we’re just watching movies that don’t exist, nor could exist in real life.” Rarity commented.

“It’s not like the movies came to life by themselves.” Applejack added.

“But what do you expect that we’re celebrating a month involving-”

“Horror movies!” Twilight’s friends cutting her off.

“If zombies came to life, we would run for our lives, we would be miles away from civilization by now.” Rainbow added.

The dark spark was heading towards the Rainbooms, just when they’re about to split up. “Okay fine, I’ll admit movies will always be fictional, but come on, you’re all being bummed out instead of being thrilled.”

“We’re saving it.” Pinkie called back. “It’s called savoring the moment!”

The spark continued to get bigger and bigger, taking notice from Twilight. “Hey is that supposed to be there?” She pointed at the sky as her friends did the same.

“No?” Rarity looking closely.

“Here we go again.” Rainbow rolled her eyes.

“Why do I get the feeling that we always end up in this situation, and it will never leave us alone?” Pinkie wondered.

“I don’t know, but like before we’re gonna find out.” Applejack signed.

The magic has gotten bigger and bigger to where it becomes more powerful by the second. Twilight took out her phone to give Sunset a text message on what's going on at the moment. “I would feel shocked by this, but when are we ever going to find where all of this magic is coming from?” She said to herself as the spark lights up from above them.

Night Of The Living Tantabus

Back on the road, Celestia and Luna are driving their car with their costumes on, and with Sunset sitting in the back seat in her vampire costume. During the whole trip, Sunset helped Luna with the Dark Princess makeup while Celestia put on her fairytale princess costume.

“You know you can’t always be judgemental, even outside of school.” Sunset said.

“Yes, you're right, but we’ll be the only adults there.” Luna responded. “I still can’t believe I’ve made the choice to come.”

“You fit in, since you're the Dark Princess.”

“But did you really need to dye my hair black? It took way longer than you intended.”

“Not to mention the party’s gonna end at eleven PM tonight.” Celestia replied, focusing on the road. “We need to wake up at three thirty in the morning.”

“Yes and I have to wake up to be prepared for school too.” This caused Celestia to give Sunset a stern glare. This only made her sigh after seeing her principal in such a sour mood, just to prove her point that she always understands her principals more than anyone else at school.

But after looking at Sunset through the mirror, this made Celestia a little ashamed for being in a sour mood. “Look, I’m aware you didn't originally come from this world, and I now know what Equestria is, after listening to the students after their spring break on the yacht. But if there’s one thing I will never be, is your teacher from there. I’m always your principal, until the day you graduate.”

Sunset wanted to agree with Celestia, but on the other hand, she had never met her counterpart in person. “Do you even imagine what it would be like, as an alicorn princess?”

“I would, but being an animal would take a long time to get used to. Animal classes aren't all about turning into one, as well as trying to understand alicorns in general.”

Sunset would never forget any of the lessons she took from her old teacher, and how her principal would feel if she became a princess instead. “I’ve been there three times before, if you were me and I was you, would you see how different it is?”

Celestia wanted to answer a question that was strong enough to be convincing, but she can’t even decide if it’s possible to believe in herself. “I’ve seen all of this before, the Friendship Games, the trip to Camp Everfree, and even when you turned into a demon. Is there anything that needs to be said?”

“We may get used to those during those times because it was all taking place in Canterlot High.” Luna added. “If we were the students and you were the principals, you wouldn’t even be concerned, because we would do all the magic solving.”

Just when Sunset was about to prove her point, she thought Celestia and Luna hadn’t caught on, but they did. Aside from the last incident at Equestria Land and the yacht trip, which they weren't a part of, they seem they don’t want any part of this when it got in their way.

“Everything in the past would never be erased from anyone, especially with how out of control it got.” Sunset remembered.

“Hey, that’s mostly the price of you, being either directly or indirectly responsible.” Celestia responded.

“Then again, I never find out where it’s all coming from.”

“The more you find out, the easier it will be for you to pinpoint the source.”

As they’re getting close to the theme park, Sunset noticed something unfamiliar in the distance. She saw a huge forcefield around Equestria Land.

“Umm...I don’t think this will be easy for me.” She spoked while she looked through the trees.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Luna responded as she saw the forcefield itself. As Celestia parked her car in the parking lot, she, her sister and Sunset got out. Not only is the dark spark still levitating above the park itself, it’s also taking control of everything inside.

“You know I could give you detention right now, but even I’m not that harsh.” Celestia placed her hand on her face.

Sunset took out her phone and received a text from Twilight. “Umm...Twilight texted me, Equestrian Magic all over again, even during horror night, wish us the best of luck tonight.”

“Seems like even your friends aren’t even surprised by this anymore.” Luna commented. “So what are we going to do?”

It was a lot more simple back when Equestria Magic did little damage but now, Sunset couldn’t even think it would be possible. “Maybe we should go through.”

“You mean through the forcefield?” Celestia blinked. “We don’t even know what’s happening inside.”

“This is much simpler than when we got trapped at Camp Everfree with the vines. Maybe everyone must have been in the same predicament as last time.”

The two grown adults looked at the theme park, surrounded in a huge bubble, far more powerful and potentially more difficult to stop. “Sunset, I don’t think this magic is the same as before, it feels darker.” Luna pointed in the center of the park.

Sunset tried to look closely and her vice principal was correct. “Hey, I remember that source. That’s the Tantabus' dark magic.”

“Tantabus?” Celestia responded. “Please tell me it’s not a criminal from Equestria.”

“Do you seriously think that Friendship bans criminals for doing the opposite of it?” Sunset turned to her principal, acting unsurprised. “Every universe never has a happily ever after.”

In order to find some answers, they walked up to the forcefield. Sunset placed her hands on the bubble while hitting it three times. Without the help from Applejack’s strength, she has to find another way to get through.

“Do you have your geode with you?” Luna asked.

“Yes.” Sunset showing it off around her neck. “But I don’t know how this is gonna work.”

Celestia then pushed against the forcefield with her arms. “Well can you use it while you touch it or something?” Upon taking Celestia’s option into consideration, she grabbed her and Luna’s arms.

“You two touch the forcefield too.” Sunset turned to Luna who assisted. With the adults touching the forcefield, the teenage vampire activated her geode while closing her eyes and focused her thoughts. In just fifteen seconds, her geode started to glow, with Celestia and Luna’s hands going through the bubble slowly.

“It’s working.” Luna replied with her eyes wide open.

“Please don’t let go of me while we go through.” Sunset said, focusing on her powers.

“Don’t worry.” Celestia responded. For the next fifteen seconds, they’re bodies phased through the forcefield, while the adults kept their grip on Sunset. When they saw what was happening inside, they remained silent, thinking it couldn’t get any worse than it already had.

When Sunset opened her eyes, she saw everyone still in their costumes, but their skin and behavior have turned them into the characters from the horror movies. They saw the Cutie Mark Crusaders stirring the boiling water in the pot while being witches, Pinkie Pie is biting the pumpkin while acting like a zombie, and the whole park is fogged over in red smoke, instead of the white smoke that normally came from the machines.

“Uhh...when I thought something was really going on inside, this was the last thing to come to mind.” Sunset blinked in disbelief.

“Knew coming here wasn’t a good idea.” Luna commented.

“It was a bad idea.” Celestia added.

“Well hello ladies.” Rainbow Dash stepped right in front of her. She still has the same outfit on as before, but she has eyeliner makeup with blue and pink lipstick. And instead of the hammer she brought from her house, she has a fun gun, filled with many alternative ammo more deadly, when they come into play.

“Why do you have makeup on?” Sunset pointed.

“What’s wrong, it doesn’t suit me wonderfully?”

“No, because you hate makeup.”

Then Rainbow pointed her gun straight to Sunset’s face. “I can show you how painful my gun is.” She teased.

“Rainbow, what do you think you're doing?” Celestia placed her hands on her hips.

“And what’s going on with the horror party?” Luna added.

“Oh where are my manners, this is a major improvement.” Rainbow put away her gun. “I have never made so many friends after I got dumped.”

“But...you never had a boyfriend.”

“That’s what you think.” Pinkie Pie walked up to Rainbow while groaning to open up the pumpkin to eat the candy inside. As Rainbow got slightly annoyed, she took the pumpkin from the zombie and stomped on it. “Here, now go try it for yourself.” She gave Pinkie the candy she took out from the pumpkin.

“I don’t think she’s playing a character.” Celestia whispered to Sunset. “She is the character.”

“I can see that.” Sunset rolled her eyes. Just when she’s about to find her friends, Rainbow Dash grabbed her hand.

“You're not going anywhere. I’m taking you where our mad scientist is doing.”

“Okay, first of all, this isn’t a party where you force someone to do what you want.” Sunset retorted. “Don’t you have anything you would rather do?”

This caused Rainbow to pull face to face with the vampire. “Let me remind you that this party isn’t ending anytime soon. And I love vampires, since my best friend is one.”

Sunset hadn’t received a text from Fluttershy ever since she arrived here. But now, she’s aware of what happened to her due to horror mind control. With Rainbow pulling Sunset, the principals tried to keep up with them, but they continued to look around Equestria Land.

“I feel like we’re gonna turn into them.” Luna pointed at one of the teens smashing the pumpkins.

“I don’t think so, because I don’t feel anything right now.” Celestia said, looking at her arms. “Maybe it’s because we weren't inside when the forcefield first formed.”

When they look at the dark magic still floating above the park, they notice it’s shaped like a grown unicorn. What Sunset said earlier about the studies she learned about Tantabus, she wasn’t kidding, nor being just a criminal in Equestria.

“Can you tell me where we're going?” Sunset asked.

“To the horror house, where my vampire friend is at.” Rainbow answered.

When they walked up to the horror house, it wasn’t just a constructed house just for thriller and fun, bats flew out of the front door with a vampire roar coming from the outside. Rainbow invited her guests inside, while the door closed behind them.

“Geez!” Luna said startledly, turning around in the direction of the slamming door.

“I don't remember the last time I went to a horror house, but that definitely wasn't meant to be real!” Celestia looking at real spider webs hanging from the corners of the room.

They hear someone playing the piano in the bedroom with each note of the music more devious. “I will say, she may not be a piano player, but she really has good taste.” Rainbow commented as she opened the bedroom door. “Vampire, I’ve found a close relative.”

When Sunset saw who was playing the piano, she thought it would be Rarity but upon seeing the hair, it wasn’t her. “Fluttershy?” She blinked.

When Fluttershy stopped playing on the piano, she turned around while showing herself to the others. Her hair is messy while her eyes turned red inside of remaining the original color. The black outfit she’s wearing is the total opposite from how she wore from before. Not only that, her teeth are actually vampire teeth and not a replica like what Sunset is wearing.

“It’s Flutterbat.” Fluttershy responded.

Flutterbat From The Night

Fluttershy walked up to Sunset, standing face to face with her, even if Sunset is just in a vampire costume with makeup. She placed her hand on her cheek while looking closely at her. “So I can tell you love being a vampire huh?” She grinned.

“Well yeah, but did Vignette give you a makeover too because...I’m sure this isn’t fake to be completely legit.” Sunset said, looking at Fluttershy’s teeth.

“Oh please, if it was fake, she wouldn’t suck the blood from anyone she comes across.” Rainbow making a devious giggle.

“Makeover over huh?” Fluttershy backing away. “If I did, I would be like you.”

This causes Sunset to blush, knowing she and the adults aren’t turned into monsters like her friends. “I didn’t want you to be like an actual vampire though. And you can’t be like this forever.”

Just when she’s about to take Fluttershy with her, Rainbow pointed her gun at her head. “Nobodies gonna stop us, or this party.” She retorted.

“And we have a lot in store for you.” Fluttershy whipped her hair out of her view. “Our mad scientist is gonna turn one of you into a Frankenstein.” She then grabs Sunset’s arm while opening the window with her powers. “And you're gonna love being one rather than that playtoy outfit.”

She flew from the ground thanks to her bat wings and took Sunset to where Twilight is at. “Sunset!” Celestia tried to save her student but only got a gun pointed at her head, courtesy to Rainbow.

“Give me that gun!” Luna pushes the gun away from her sister, as well as taking it from Rainbow.

“Oh no you don’t.” Rainbow tried to fight back, but Luna pushed her to the ground and pointed the gun at her.

“We’re still your principals at the end of the day. You're not who you really are and you better get your other friends!”

Rainbow hates taking orders from someone else, but Luna refuses to knock out a student in any capacity. But she can tell she’ll have her vengeance sooner than later. “Then let me go.”

“We’re not giving you back the gun.” Celestia retorted.

“Fine.” As they allow Rainbow to get on her feet, she walks away, heading out the haunted house. Celestia and Luna made a head start to rescue Sunset from being turned into a monster.

As Fluttershy landed on the ground with Sunset holding on to her, she shows her the tent with zap noises coming from the inside. Sunset is aware of how her best friend is feeling due to the circumstances right now.

“Just for a heads up, she barely spends time with us.” Fluttershy inviting Sunset in. With lights blinking on and off, tons of chemicals displayed on the table, and a person laying on the miniature table, waiting to turn into a frankenstein in just a matter of seconds.

When Twilight heard people entering her tent, she introduced herself. Her hair is just as messy as Fluttershy and her lab coat contains stains drops of the chemicals she used. “I’m nearly done completing the operation.” She took off her safety goggles.

“And it’s looking good.” Fluttershy smirked. “Didn’t expect the patient to be all set.” Sunset can see the patient waiting for the moment to come and yet he isn’t in fear. “Let me tell you, he’s been waiting all day to become the monster everybody wants to see.” She wrapped her arm around Sunset’s shoulder.

“I doubt anyone would ever want to willingly be a frankenstein.” Sunset rolled her eyes. “Unless he's corrupted with magic like all of you.”

Twilight walked up to Sunset while pointing her ruler at her. “Corrupted? I would prefer the term, “in complete control.”

“That’s not true, all of you are being corrupted and it’s getting out of control! Where’s Applejack and Rarity?”

“Why should that be a problem with us?” Fluttershy replied in annoyance. “They’re probably at the dance hall for all we care, no one has left this place.”

Sunset lowered her head, knowing her friends have no idea what she’s talking about. “I’m pretty sure your current lives would’ve been more different if we weren’t at a theme park.”

“Our environments aren’t supposed to be huge, you sissy vampire.” Fluttershy taunts the teen in the costume.

Meanwhile, Celestia and Luna are trying to find their student despite being in the crowd of humanoid monsters. Not only they have to find a way to destroy the forcefield but find a way to get everyone back to their normal selves, they can’t even use magic to solve the solutions like Sunset did.

“Sunset!” Luna called.

“Where are you?” Celestia also called.

“I’m coming!” Sunset shouted as she escaped from her friend's wrath. “We have to hide!”

“Right behind you!” The two adults follow Sunset from behind, while Fluttershy and Twilight stop.

“Just let them go Twilight.” Fluttershy rolled her eyes. “They have no idea what we have in store for this party.”

“Then let’s have them wait and see Flutterbat.” Twilight smirked. “I’m gonna begin the demonstration of my frankenstein project.” A lightning bolt hit the tent from above, signalling that what’s left to come would lead to more crises in Equestria Land.

The only spot Sunset and the adults can hide is behind the roller coaster that hasn’t been on the whole time. It was bad enough that her friends are taking over the park, but knowing this is different compared to the other times with Equestrian Magic, she wouldn’t be able to fix this even with the Rainbooms by her side.

“So you're saying that dark surge is from the Tantabus?” Celestia asked, pointing at it from the sky.

“Yes and to my knowledge, I doubt there’s anything I can do about it.” Sunset answered. “If there was a chance for this horror party to end, everyone would still stay in this park.”

Luna wanted to disagree with Sunset, but after dealing with so many magic situations in the past, it was a long time since she had to be involved in any part of this. “We can’t just give up like this. If this was the last place I wanted to be in, I would stay as who I am instead of a deranged person in a horror costume.”

“You’re technically in a horror costume, just not like everyone else.” Celestia looking at her sister’s uniform.

“Yes, that is true.” When she looked at her outfit, she was impressed at first. “What’s a shame about it is that no one will ever see me as the Dark Princess.”

When Sunset looked at Luna’s outfit, along with the makeup and hair she did, she made it so convincing to where if the whole place wasn’t taken over, she would’ve won second place of best outfit designer, right behind Rarity that is.

“Maybe you can still fill in as the Dark Princess like getting hints on taking down the Tantabus surge.” She smiled.

“Sunset, even if I knew what all of that meant, I’m pretty sure it would require a miracle for everything to be back to normal.” Luna placed her hand on her hip.

“Hey, Fluttershy and Twilight respect each other in the state that they're in. Maybe the others might do the same, aside from Pinkie Pie since she’s a zombie.”

“Then what are we gonna do?” Celestia asked. “We can’t just pretend we’re horror monsters. I’m just a princess and sure your a vampire, but your friends aren’t gonna be stupid enough to see you as one.”

Sunset wanted to see some other way to avoid her friends, but she realizes that everyone here is after her. “Maybe we should stick together while your sister can do most of the navigating. We know Rainbow Dash knows who we are so we need to keep her away from you.” She looked at Luna.

Celestia and Luna had to face the fact that agreeing with their student is the only option they have. Heading out in the open would only cause more situations that will keep them away from turning everything back to normal.

“Okay, we'll do it.” Luna making her decision. “But if you're gonna take my sister, you should also go to different places in this park if I don’t receive any information.”

“And if you expect me to run in a princess outfit, then this is pushing it.” Celestia retorted.

“Hey I’ve been in a vegetable costume and I was embarrassed. How is anything any more different aside from the present?”

“If only we dealt with everything you went through, as in magical powers.”

Sunset couldn’t even describe what it would feel if her principals were in the same position as she was. But at the same time, they would be like their alicorn counterparts from Equestria. “Maybe if we succeed, you might understand how it feels.” She smiled.

“Then let’s get to work.” Luna cheered.

While Luna heads to where most of the corrupted people are heading to the party spot of the theme park, Sunset and Celestia are trying to find Applejack and Rarity. As they hide behind the horror stands, more people have walked past after being told from Fluttershy that they’re on the loose.

“So you're telling me that Rarity is dressed up as a superhero while Applejack is dressed as a survivor?” Celestia asked.

“It was their choice.” Sunset whispered back. “Rarity wanted to make a skit where she rescues Applejack. They’ve been together a lot.”

“And you think they’re the only ones not completely insane because of their outfits?”

“I’m sure. I need back up.”

This causes Celestia to place her hand on her face. “Sunset, if you and your friends never had a horror movie marathon, I would believe Rarity would be a superhero here. And I doubt Applejack would have a mind of running all over the place escaping from zombies.”

The teen vampire couldn’t even bother to think what her country friend would be like if she wore something else for tonight. And as Rarity, knowing that her friends have corrupted powers due to the Tantabus surge, there could be a chance the fashionista could have powers of her own.

“There are a lot of crazy scenarios no matter what comes out from Equestria. I would believe you if only we could reverse that against the enemy.”

“Even if we had the opportunity, we still need to figure out the objectives.”

Just when they head to their next hiding spot, they witness Fluttershy and Twilight walking together with their Frankenstein right behind them. “Seems like the objectives aren’t simple when we have a deranged army.” Sunset commented.

“By the way, you think our vampire girl would be able to take down my frankenstein?” Twilight pointed at her creation.

“Not even close, I know you did a great job on making your creation invulnerable to anything.” Fluttershy wrapped her arm around Twilight. “I’m gonna find our outsider so I can have a chat with her.”

Sunset never forgot how much she wanted Fluttershy to fit in with the vampire costume she offered to her. If only she wasn’t in this state, she would apologize to her. And knowing she isn’t done with her, she won’t be able to end this madness anytime soon.

“Hey! Get up!” A voice shouted which caused Sunset and Celestia to get on their feet. When they turned around, they saw Applejack but she’s not just any survivor, she’s an edgelord with an axe behind her back, and she’s far from happy.

“This can’t be good.” Sunset lowered her head.

“Any better ideas?” Celestia rolled her eyes.

Surge Of Nightmares

With Sunset and her principal out in the open, Applejack kept her eye on them. “Don’t even fool with me if you think I’m gonna let you go.”

“Applejack, we’re not doing anything.” Sunset prevents herself away from the country girl. “And please tell me that the axe is fake.”

“Do you seriously think any of this is fake?” Celestia signed.

“I wish for something at least.”

“Don’t tempt me.” Applejack said curtly, preparing to put her foot down. “I’ve had experience with surviving against many zombies in the past. You wouldn’t believe how deadly it is.”

“Oh great, now I get what your character is based on your costume.” Sunset commented.

Just when things couldn’t get any worse, they heard three more people walking up to them from behind. “And now I can tell where this is going.” Celestia looking up at the sky.

“Well that wasn’t hard.” Twilight making a devious laugh.

With Sunset and Celestia surrounded, they can’t be able to hide anymore, nor take advantage of their plan. “We’re not playing by your rules.” Sunset said, trying to act confident. “And if you're gonna bother to do anything, it wouldn’t do any favors for yourself.”

This didn’t make her friends upset whatsoever, in fact with how the magic is taking total control, they have the upper hand. “Any favors huh?” Fluttershy spoked. “Even if there’s a chance for you two to head out of here, we will track you down whenever we get the chance.”

“And considering you're not like us, you don’t know what it’s like to be us.” Twilight looking at her creation who made a groan.

Even with a slight chance of a back up plan, they’re outnumbered against anyone here. Even fighting back won’t make a difference with how powerful they are. Celestia can only pray if her sister can manage to do something before it’s too late.

“Okay.” Celestia trying to make a stand for herself. “Even if we’re like all of you, we wouldn’t allow anyone in our property because we’re afraid that they're gonna attack us.”

This caused Applejack to walk up to her principal while preparing to swing her axe. “Don’t you understand that YOU’RE the outsiders trespassing on OUR property?”

“We’re not attacking you!” Celestria turned around, only in self defence due to Applejack preparing to use her axe. “We had to go through the forcefield to see what was happening here.”

“And you expect us to find any good side of you?”

“We would rather turn you into us instead of allowing you two to stay the way you are.” Fluttershy slowly walking up to Sunset. “And besides, it would be interesting to have a vampire relative by my side.” She placed her hand on Sunset’s shoulder while smelling the scent. The scent of the perfume she put on to make herself truly a vampire even if it's just a costume.

Just when things couldn’t get any more disturbing for Sunset, she heard a hiss find her friend, only to realize she’s about to bite her neck. “Let go of me!” She pushed Fluttershy away from her. “If you think I’m really a vampire, then you're wrong!” She took off her wig while her hair was coming out.

Everyone aside from Celestia were shocked to see Sunset completely immune to any monstrous side effects. However it was a huge mistake on Sunset’s part.

“You’re a fraud!” Twilight pointed while her frankenstein became angry.

“You couldn’t even bother to stay in uniform like the rest of us don’t you?” Fluttershy becoming inpatient after being denied. “You just put yourself into a huge spiral of trouble.” She flew off the ground while making a siren trill. Nearly everyone in the park immediately headed to Fluttershy’s trill, while Sunset backed away from the angry mob.

“Okay, let me rephrase what I just said.” Sunset looking at Fluttershy’s army.

“Do you think anyones gonna care?” Celestia having no part of this.

“Besides, doing this is much more fun…” Rainbow smirked while using her hammer.

“Probably should’ve kept my wig on.” Sunset said, acting nervous as she made a run for it. With the angry mob chasing the imposter, Fluttershy walked up to Celestia, making sure she didn't escape.

“And to make sure you don’t do anything suspicious, you're coming with me.”

Sunset ran past most of the invited guests, who also took notice that she’s an outsider. The angry mob split up in order to catch her easier. Sunset heads through the mirror maze but she knows that she can't hide forever, knowing she’s on the run.

“I wish I would’ve only watched the marathon and left it at that. This is beyond psychotic!” As she slowly navigated through the maze, she saw Pinkie coming through from the other exit.

“I...want...more...CANDY!!!” She screamed as she bumped into Sunset. Sunset hit her head on the mirror, as she got onto the ground.

“Pinkie.” Sunset trying to talk sense with her friend. “I’m not gonna hurt you, but will you please let me go?”

Unfortunately for her, her best friend only thinks about sweets due to her zombie nature. She grabbed onto Sunset’s outfit while looking straight in the eye. She only breathed into her nose, demanding sweets even if Sunset had nothing in her possession.

“Forcing me to smell your breath doesn’t change your ways. And your breath is horrible!” She pushed Pinkie up against the mirror as she headed to the exit with more horror people coming after her. Even just by seeing the reflection, they were more terrifying the more they continued to chase after the imposter.

As Sunset ran out of the mirror maze, she ran through the steam in the alley way of the theme park. Luckily for her, she managed to get to the other side of the angry mob heading in the other direction. She ran towards the bumper cars section with skeletons driving them.

“Hey, stay out of the field you vampire wannabe!” One of the skeletons raised their fist up.

“Skeletons aren’t welcome to be in bumper cars!” Sunset shouted back before she continued to run away.

Luna made it to her destination where most of the other guests came. The Devil's Apple. It was originally a karaoke party tent for people to sing horror songs inside. After checking through most of the tents after going on her own, Luna heads inside.

“There has to be someone in here to give me answers of the Tantabus’s source.” She spoke while witnessing cooking pots with bubbles coming out. She refuses to believe anyone here would eat each other but on the other hand, the park would get worse without any notice.

She noticed Rarity in her superhero costume, but she’s hanging above one of the boiling pots, soon to be dumped into it. Luna can tell that Rarity could be the only survivor from the situation but she can tell she could be delusional.

“Rarity?” Luna called.

“WHAT!?” Rarity yelled after opening her eyes. “You're never going to stop me, I’m not a woman in a costume, I’m a superhero!”

This only caused Luna to facepalm. “At least she isn’t demented.”

“You…” She then heard a voice to her right. It was the same surge from outside, blocking anyone from leaving but it was shaped as a tall alicorn. “I can help you.”

Luna felt disturbed from the devious voice but she knows the surge is her ticket resolving the horror crisis. “You can?”

“Yes…” The surge spoked. “You seemed like the odd one out of everyone here, right?” This made Luna nod, noticing her Dark Princess outfit fools even most of the intelligent people. “Then I can help you.”

“Please, does it involve turning everyone back to normal? As well leaving this park?”

“Yes, but you must do me a favor.” With the surge’s eyes lid up, she looked down at Luna. “Take me to Equestria.”

Upon hearing the location, the vice principal felt unsure. “If you really want to go to Equestria then why are you here?”

“I was trying to escape after Princess Luna reformed herself from Nightmare Moon” With the words Princess Luna, Luna is shocked to think her own counterpart was the cause of this. And to make matters worse, she isn’t like her counterpart in terms of abilities. “And ever since then. I’ve been trapped inside her for so long, escaping was a lot harder than you think.”

“Hey, if she has an example of trapping you, you need a better reason for why you’ve escaped.” Luna defended herself. “I’ve never been to Equestria and I don’t know how it functions.”

“You don’t say?” The surge tilted her head. “It’s not that hard the more you know about it. If you help me, I’ll tell you everything about it.”

“No I’m not gonna take that risk, are there any alternatives?”

The surge itself shook her head, not to mention it wasn’t phased from receiving Luna’s answer. “I don’t think you have a choice. There’s no other world for me to stay in, which is why I came to this parallel world. And by the looks of it, you are my only option.”

Luna wanted to get out of character in her costume but if she does, she could end up like Sunset. “Hey, there is more to being the Dark Princess you know? I don’t have dark powers to help you and even if I did, I would use them for myself.” She took a deep breath while making a stand for herself. “Everyone here is out of control and I’m not leaving until you reverse everything.”

Unfortunately, the surge’s eyes continue to get brighter by the second. “I don't take no as an answer.”

“Who’s gonna make me?” Just when she backed away, the demented guests blocked her from leaving.

“You, and I know how.” The surge’s horn lid up, preparing to take matters into its hooves the hard way.

Happily Never Ending

View Online

Sunset had spent so much time hiding from the angry mob, she couldn’t even try to fight back, with how strong they’d gotten from the magic. She managed to head back to the entrance where she and the principals came in. “This is getting ludicrous! None of this would’ve happened if I had never thrown this party.” She panted.

To make matters worse for her, she witnessed Fluttershy cackling at her from above. She was holding on to Celestia thanks to her strength as a vampire. “No matter what you do, you'll never stop us.” She landed on the ground.

“Then what do you want me to do? Be your slave?” Sunset acts casually. “This park is a lot more dysfunctional than horrifying.”

“What, do you expect anyone here to be bleeding?” Fluttershy smirked. “I would take advantage of my appetite if that happens.” She walked up to Sunset, receiving an offer to her. “Instead I’m giving you a choice for the better.” She placed her hand on Sunset’s neck while softly rubbing it. “Let me turn you into a vampire.”

“Never happening.” Sunset putting her hand away. “Being on your side isn’t worth it. I would rather get eaten by zombies than live my life like that.”

Fluttershy kept her grip on Celestia, making sure she didn't escape. “So what? You're better off doing devious things than eating candy all the time. If you deny my offer then I’ll make you regret it.” She grabbed Celestia by the neck. “I’ll bite your principal's neck so I can turn her into a vampire.”

“Please Sunset! I hate vampires.” Celestia screamed, trying to resist.

“Seriously!?” Sunset landing on her knees. “You’re gonna pretend she’s your adopted mother or something?”

“Who knows? Maybe she’ll make a fantastic ally.” Fluttershy said cockily, playing with Celestia’s hair. “But let me tell you, the moment you exposed that you weren’t an actual vampire to us, you still deserve a second chance.”

“Like stopping the angry mob from chasing me?”

“Seems fair right. And if you do the deed, I’ll let her go.”

Sunset can only pray if Luna can do something fast enough before she turns into a vampire. Sending Celestia home would be one thing but knowing she won’t turn back if she turned into a vampire once the Tantabus source of magic disappears, Canterlot High won’t have a principal they know and respect.

Back in the tent, the surge itself surrounds Luna, trapping her in a void with no escape. Knowing the dark magic abilities coming from the surge are responsible for the forcefield, Luna just figures out the solution to stop this madness.

“I’ve struggled to escape from Princess Luna, and I’m not taking that risk again.” Tantabus said, looking straight to Luna who’s floating in the void.

“Sorry to butcher your goal, but I’m not willing to side with you.” Luna glared. “And you can’t force me!”

The surge only got madder, with the eyes getting brighter and brighter. “You’re right, but I can make you do it!”

The surge got closer to the Vice Principal, about to come into her to take full control of her body. But Luna backed away. “I don’t care how endless this void is, I can do this forever if I need to.”

But then, the surge got faster, as it seeped into Luna while heading straight to the heart. Back at the entrance, Sunset refuses to have even her principal get into permanent trouble. She got back on her feet and made her decision.

“Let her go, let’s just get this over with.”

Celestia was shocked, knowing her student would sacrifice herself for the sake of her future. “Sunset, you can’t do this.”

“I’ve got my memories getting ripped out of my brain. If you saw that, you would believe me.”

After Fluttershy let go of Celestia, she headed behind Sunset preparing to bite her neck. Sunset closed her eyes, preparing for the moment to come, from the friend who had second thoughts of coming here. She brought this upon herself and she’s not willing to have her principal deal with this since she convinced her and her sister to come.

In the void, Luna couldn’t control herself inside due to the surge. Her arms and legs became more numb as the seconds ticked by, allowing the Tantabus’s source to take advantage. “I’m not your puppet!” Luna shouted.

“What can you do to stop me?” The surge taunted. “You’re insignificant, compared to what I dealt with and when you see it, You will understand…”

Luna’s eyes glow up while she screams in agony. Twilight dealt with this in the past and it was when her inner demons got the better of her. But Luna isn’t a teenager like the others and she’s not gonna stand for it.

“Understand?” Luna snapped out of it. “I don’t take abusive orders from the likes of you.” She grabbed the surge’s leg as she used her strength to pull it out. “If you think I’m gonna end up like Luna, you're wrong, because I’m Luna! Princess or not!”

She managed to pull the whole surge out of her, despite the pain she felt from the Tantabus’s surge. “You're not the Dark Princess!?”

“I may don’t know about my counterpart from Equestria, but I know I’m just as brave as her!” She placed her hands on the surge’s horn which caused her to feel the dark magical force from it. But she’s not letting go. With Tantabus’s eyes glowing lighter, the outside of the void also got brighter, taking the other humanoid monsters by notice.

Back at the entrance, Fluttershy was just seconds away from biting Sunset’s neck, but Celestia noticed a surge of light taking up the whole theme park. The monsters stood still while the void sucked them in. Soon all of Sunset’s friends get sucked into the void, and so does Celestia, Sunset and Fluttershy. With the void touching the forcefield, the forcefield started to crack, breaking into pieces as another beam of light shot out, resulting in the Tantabus being sent back to Equestria. Sent to another vold where it won’t escape into the Mirror World again.

The following day, all of the students are back to being their normal selves, but they had a headache after last night. They couldn’t sleep nor had the energy to take off their outfits upon heading home. In the health center of Canterlot High, after helping a few students, Nurse Redheart put a bandaid on Sunset’s neck. Just a normal sized one, Fluttershy’s vampire teeth had turned back to normal when she bit her friend’s neck. It still bled slightly, but it was better than turning into a vampire.

“You really need to be mostly accountable for what happened at Equestria Land.” Redheart said curtly, taking the ice pack away from the patient.

“I just wanted to throw a horror party, I didn’t think this would happen again.” Sunset placed her hand on her neck. “I need to tell Principal Celestia and Luna about this.”

“Well the good news is, they’re waiting outside for you. They're planning to talk with you in their office, but you’re not in trouble.”

Sunset saw through the door window that Celestia and Luna are waiting for her to have a conversation in the cafeteria. She can tell they’re not happy after everything that happened last night, but they’re not furious.

After Sunset got out of the health center, her Principal and Vice Principal immediately headed to the cafeteria, which is empty during the morning. “Sunset, if I would’ve told you what I did with Tantabus last night, you would’ve done something different then me.”

“Well I was surprised you actually saved everyone but I was unconscious and couldn’t pay any attention.” Sunset responded. “But...why am I not getting detention?”

“For one, we were mostly guests to your party.” Celestia placed her arm on the table. “And for two, you actually saved me from being turned into a vampire. And giving you detention wouldn’t be fair when the students were mostly invited by you and your friends in the first place.”

Sunset was happy enough last night didn’t end any other way, otherwise Canterlot High would’ve been postponed or canceled for the day. But on the other hand, she still couldn’t get over how the Equestrian Magic situation damaged her party.

“I would thank you, but I’m concerned that what happened last night could come back, but way worse.” Sunset lowered her head, not even fully awake after passing out.

“Then why don’t you find where it’s coming from?” Luna offered.

“Because there’s more places where Equestain Magic is coming from, mainly the island during my spring break with my friends.” Sunset took a deep breath while lifting her head up. “It’s impossible to make everything around me safe from it.”

Celestia and Luna knew Sunset would be in denial after everything she went through. And after dealing with the experience last night, they’re fully aware this situation could happen again in the future.

“Find where it’s coming from, mainly the first spot where it came from.” Celestia giving advice. “For all I know, it seems it’s the only spot where it’s causing all of this trouble.”

Sunset wanted to handle more, but with the little evidence she has, finding where the magic’s coming from would take weeks or even months. “Okay, thanks for the advice, but I won’t guarantee I can find it soon enough.”

Celestia and Luna got up upon hearing their student’s goal outside of Canterlot High. “Hey if there's anything good that comes out of this, at least we will be on your side, as always.”

“Not to mention.” Luna smiled. “If there’s any chance you’re heading back to Equestria, maybe it would be nice to come along to meet our counterparts, for at least once.”

“Yeah...but don’t expect anyone in Equestria to give in to the idea of two clones. Just saying.” Sunset replied, getting up from the table.

“We can wear disguises, it's not the end of the world.”

As the two principals head to their office, Sunset also went to her classes for the day. Although talking to her friends would require more time after the night they had last night.

At the end of the school day, Sunset came out of her final class with Fluttershy by her side. She wasn't able to put away the ice pack after the pain she had in her skull, and the same goes to everyone in Canterlot High.

“Fluttershy, we all know you didn’t mean to bite my neck, but it was mostly my fault.” Sunset said while walking by Fluttershy in the hallway. “I should’ve let you stay home.”

“I just wanted to contribute.” Fluttershy spoke. “I didn’t know I would turn into a real vampire.”

“If I was there when it happened, you would probably be in my costume. Although I’m never gonna do a movie marathon like that ever again.”

They witnessed Twilight and the others waiting by the entrance, with ice packs on their heads. They would be thankful that Tantabus is gone from this world, but they’re not even surprised anymore.

“If you think we’re blaming you for the whole marathon, it’s not that, the healing process is taking forever.” Twilight said, trying to open her eyes a bit wider.

“Not to mention I couldn’t even get my beautiful hair to comb right.” Rarity said, running her fingers through her hair.

“By the way, Vignette wants us to come over to Equestria Land after school to help take the decorations down.” Applejack added. “We should head over there right now.”

“Wait.” Sunset stops her friends before they head out. “Celestia and Luna told me to find where the source of Equestrian Magic is coming from. This has been happening since our trip to Camp Everfree.”

“Yes, we have to find it!” Pinkie Pie said, feeling a bit sick, placing her hand on her stomach. “I’ve haven't had that much candy since I was seven.”

Her friends would agree with her but on the other hand, they don’t want to waste anymore of their time. “Can we just think about this later?” Twilight moaned. “It’s not surprising anymore and last night was a lot more chaotic to think about.”

“Why don’t you just tell Princess Twilight, so she might have an answer to this?” Fluttershy offered.

“I could, but I don’t think even she can figure out how it’s appearing in this world.” Sunset walking up to the door. “When one of us finds out where it’s coming from, I’ll remind her.” She heads out the door where her friends think about when and where they find the magic.

“I can see we’re getting to the point where this magic situation is becoming stale, but much worse and way more unpredictable.” Applejack commented.

“Don’t worry, as soon as we find it, we may know who’s responsible for it.” Twilight smiled as she walked out. But when she saw her friend standing in place, her main goal had already been completed. “Sunset?”

All that her friend did was pointed at the statue, which revealed the Equestain Magic leaking out, heading to different locations. Soon all of her friends came out and saw the source. After all this time, they never thought that the portal to Equestria was the birthplace of Equestria Magic in this world. All they did was stare at the statue from above with more magic leaking out.

“Well, that escalated quickly.” Rainbow blinked.

“We’ve been spending our time by this stature and not one of us ever glanced at this?” Rarity asked, with her eye twitching slightly.

“Okay, we definitely need Princess Twilight for this.” Pinkie quipped, being truthful. Instead of even bothering to follow where the magic is heading too, they all headed back to Equestria Land to help clean up. Sunset and Twilight still remained in place in front of the statue.

“This time, Pinkie Pie is right. Princess Twilight needs to come back to see this.” Sunset turned to her friend with her eyes shot open. “Twilight?”

“I’ve just remembered, It was me that caused this when I turned into Midnight Sparkle. I feel like I’m partly responsible for this.”

All that Twilight did was faint with her headache coming back at full speed, while Sunset caught her from hitting her head on the ground. “This is gonna take a long time to repair.”
