A storm came to Sodor and Rainbow Dash and Gordon are in for a real breeze literally. In a farm yard, A farmer has finished a shed. Bug, It was too light and was gone with the wind.
Twilight missed breakfast after she and Thomas went to the quarry to help Bill, Ben, And Boco. Later, Twilight got her breakfast. But, Not the way she expected.
Rainbow Dash gave Gordon too much bad coal which caused his funnel to get clogged. And now, He is sneezing nonstop covering everyone in coal dust.
The island of Sodor is being hit by strong winds and rough rain storms making it difficult for the engines. One stormy day, Twilight and Thomas were fighting through the wind and rain pulling a goods train.
“Geez! I thought the rain last week was bad. But, This storm!? Its like living in a hurricane!” Puffed Thomas.
“You can say that again.” Said Twilight. Further down the track, Duck pulling trucks of China clay to the docks. But, Neither Twilight, Thomas, Or Duck knew they were traveling to trouble. Ahead of Duck, A big tree was being blown by the strong winds and the rain had weakened the slope. As Duck rounded the bend, The tree fell onto his track.
“Scrap!” He yelled as he slammed on his brakes and stopped just in front of the tree. But, Thomas didn’t stop in time. He smashed into the back of Ducks train, Came off the track, And splashed into the river.
“Double scrap.” Bubbled Thomas in the water.
“I better get help.” Said Twilight as she swam out of the river. Luckily, Daisy arrived with the breakdown train to pull thomas out. Soon, Thomas was out. But, His front was badly dented. ”Aw man. Not again. ”That night at the sheds, Twilight and Daisy told told the others all about Thomas’ accident.
“This storm is really causing trouble all over the island.” Moaned James.
“Yeah. The wind was so strong, I saw the crossing gates being ripped off and into the air.” Said Daisy.
“Poor Thomas.” Said Twilight sadly. ”It’s a good thing Daisy is here to take care of Thomas’ passengers.” Then, Fluttershy and Henry arrived. They were not happy at all.
“It’s not fair!” Henry puffed angrily. ”The kipper has been canceled!”
“Henry’s right.” Replied Fluttershy. “We were looking forward to a nice evening run.”
“Nonsence.” Said Gordon. “We’re big engines. A little wind can’t stop us. Not even little ponies.” This made Fluttershy mad and she grew bigger.
“Who are you calling little!?” She yelled.
“Nothing. Just saying.” Said Gordon. Fluttershy then shrunk back to normal size.
“Just watch us tomorrow.” Yawned Rainbow Dash. ”We’ll be right on shed-ule whatever the weather. Hehe. Get it? Shed-ule?”She and Gordon went to sleep. The next day, The storm was blowing worse than ever. The two speedy friends were taking the express. But, They were not enjoying themselves. Signs were put in place warning all engines to go slow.But,Rainbow Dash and Gordon ignored the signs.
“It’s shameful.” Groaned Gordon.
“No way we’re slowing down!” Rainbow Dash yelled. Meanwhile across the field, A farmer had finished building a shed. He was pleased.
“Phew!Ha!What do ya think,Son?Its solid as a rock.” He said. But, He never knew how light it was. It was so light, The strong winds picked up the shed and blew it across the field.
“And as light as a feather.” Said the farmers son.
“Whoa! Didn’t see that coming.” Gasped the farmer. Rainbow Dash and Gordon were beginning to feel uncomfortable. Cold rain stung Gordon’s face as he raced along the track.
“I can’t see a thing!” Groaned Gordon.
“Rats. That makes two of us.” Moaned Rainbow Dash. “If we can just make it to.... Sweet Celestia! Whats that!?” Gordon cracked open his eyes.A dark shape gloomed on the line ahead. He applied his brakes. But, It was too late. He smashed the shed and came off the rails. Luckily, No one was hurt. But, Gordon was derailed. Splintered wood was stuck to his bumper.
“Man! That really hurts.” Groaned Gordon.
“Are you ok, Big G.” Rainbow Dash asked.
“I think so.” Said Gordon. Soon, Fluttershy and Henry came to take the express while Applejack and Edward pulled Gordon back onto the rails.
“Well, Rainow Dash, I guess you weren’t on shed-ule.” Chuckled Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash and Gordon didn’t think it was funny at all before Edward started shunting them to the Steamworks.
It was a beautiful morning on the Island of Sodor and Twilight and Thomas were the first awake.
“Good morning, Sodor!” Called Twilight.
“Oh yeah! We’re wide awake and ready for action!” Replied Thomas. But, Then, He heard Twilight’s stomach growl. “Ok. First, Breakfast. Then, Action.” So, Thomas puffed up to the coal hopper and it started to dump coal into his hopper. Then, He puffed to the water tower and Twilight filled his tank to the top with water.
“Ok, Thomas, You’re all filled up.” Said Twilight as she detached the water tower hose from Thomas’ water tank. ”Now,It’s my turn for breakfast.”
“Right. And I know just the place.” Said Thomas. So, Twilight and Thomas went to a restaurant that sells bread, Eggs, Butter, Milk, And all other kinds of breakfasts. But,As they got there......
“THERES NO BREAD LEFT!?!?” Gasped Twilight before dropping to the ground with an empty stomach.
“Hello? Is there anything for Twilight to eat?” Whistled Thomas. The chef of the restaurant heard Thomas’ whistle and walked out to see him.
“I’m sorry. There isn’t any breakfast left.” He said. Twilight heard what the chef said.
“WHAT!? WHY NOT!?” Twilight asked shocked.
“I’d like to make you some. But, I have no ingredients.” Said the chef. ”Come back some other time.” Just as the chef walked back into the bakery, Sir Tophom Hatt came to see Twilight and Thomas.
“Twilight, Thomas, You are to go to the quarry to help Applejack and Edward.” He said.
“Great and without breakfast.” Moaned Twilight.
“She does have a point. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” Replied Thomas. Soon, They came to the quarry. Not only did they see Applejack and Edward. But, Bill and Ben, Too.
“Hi, Thomas.” Said Edward.
“Good to see you.” Said Thomas.
“Hey, Ben, Look! Another blue engine.” Said Bill. “How many blue engines we’ve been seeing? First,Edward. Then, Gordon. And now, This guy. Who ever you are.”
“My name is Thomas and I guess you haven’t seen me before.” Said Thomas. “Also, I’d like you two to meet Twilight Sparkle. She’s my partner. Twilight?” But, All Bill and Ben could see was Twilight lying on the floor of Thomas’ cab.
“I’m so hungry, I can barely move.” She moaned.
“Talk about lying down on the job.” Chuckled Bill.
“Guess you are not born to work with an engine!” Laughed Ben. Thomas was furious!
“What the!? Let me tell you something!” He growled.
“Whoa! Whoa! Easy, Thomas.” Said Applejack.
“Why don’t we just get to work delivering the China clay to the docks.” Said Edward. Soon, The engines started to fill their trucks with China clay. Thomas was the first to finish loading his trucks and set off to the docks. He started to climb the hill. When they reached the top, The trucks surged forward.
“Faster! Faster!” They laughed.
“Whoa! Slow down!” Cried Thomas.
“I don’t think so.” Giggled one of the trucks. Down the line, Farmer Mccoll was loading his Larry with eggs, Butter, And milk.
“That milk will turn sour if I don’t get it there in time.” He said. When he finished loading, He started to drive to the market. The fastest was is the road that leads to the rails crossing over the tracks. But, When the Larry started to cross the tracks, It’s engine coughed and stopped. The lorry was now stuck over the tracks. He just got out to warn the signalman when he heard a train coming. He was speeding down the track too fast.
“Oh no!” Cried thomas when he saw the lorry. He then slammed on his brakes. But, It was too late! He hit the lorry and came off the track. The eggs, Butter, And milk flew into the air and splattered all over Twilight and Thomas.
“What a mess!” Gasped farmer Mccole.
“Looks like you got breakfast, After all.” Laughed Thomas.”You’re supposed to eat breakfast. Not wear it.”
One morning,Rainbow Dash was filling Gordon’s tender with coal.Fluttershy noticed that Rainbow Dash was filling with a ton of coal
“Whoa,Rainbow Dash,I think that enough coal!” She gasped.
“Come on.If a little is good,A lot will be better.” Said Rainbow Dash filling the tender with a little more coal before jumping into Gordon’s cab.
“Who knows what’ll happen with all that coal.” Said Fluttershy.
“No sweat.” Said Rainbow Dash.”With this much,We can get the express across the island lickity split.”
“You said it.” Said Gordon before puffing away.
“Oh boy.They’ll be in trouble.” Said Henry.
“You can say that again.” Said Fluttershy.Gordon steamed down the track and up Gordon’s hill.
“Let’s keep it up.” Said Rainbow Dash before hacking the schedule.”The station we need to stop at is just ahead of the one we’re about to pass.Those passengers are waiting for Rarity and James.”
“I see them right ahead.” Said Gordon.Suddenly,He felt a twitch in his funnel.
“What’s wrong?” Rainbow Dash asked.As Gordon steamed through the station,He let out a huge sneeze!
“AAAAACHOOOOOOOOO!”Gordon blew tons of coal dust out of his funnel and firebox.The people waiting for Fluttershy and Henry are covered from head to toe in coal dust as Gordon zoomed away.Rainbow Dash was covered in coal dust,Too.
“There’s something you don’t see everyday.” Coughed Rainbow Dash.
“Ya think?” Sniffed Gordon.Later,They met Boco at Wellsworth station.
“Is something wrong,Gordon?” He asked.”I think you’ve got some bad coal in your firebox.”
“It’s nothing.My firebox is as clean as a bell.” Said Gordon.As the last of the passengers got on,Gordon left before letting out another huge sneeze.Coal dust flew all over Boco.Rainbow Dash was confused.
“What kind of coal is this,Anyhow?” She asked as she flew to Gordon’s funnel.But,When she looked inside the funnel,Gordon sneezed again covering Rainbow Dash with even more coal dust.”Now,I know what burnt toast feels like.”Sir Tophom Hatt heard what happened and are to see Rainbow Dash and Gordon at Knapford station when they arrived.
“Are you ok?” He said.
“I don’t know.” Sniffed Gordon.”I was puffing through Edwards station.And the next thing,....Agh.....Agh....Aaaaagh!”
“Take cover!” Yelled Rainbow Dash as she hit behind Rarity and James who had just arrived.
“AAAAAAAACHOOOOO!” Gordon sneezed and filled the whole station.Everyone was covered in coal dust including Rarity and James.They were cross.
“What do you have to say for yourself?” Rarity asked angrily.
“Whoops.” Chuckled Rainbow Dash.Soon,Rainbow Dash took Gordon to a siding and tried to clean his funnel with a brush.”Wow.There’s a ton of coal dust in here.”
