Lighting Heaven Reincarnated

by A random pony oc

First published

IF I died and reincarnated in you family friendly show but was non-family friendly, what I will I do...

Lighting Heaven was your ordinary joe, playing video games, having decent friends, and most importantly, she was a brony. But after doing a dare with her friends, she died and reincarnated into the world of Equestria. But it's not what it all seems. After all, being an all powerful pony does come with its prices.

Inspired by 'That Time I Conquered Equestria... As A Colt'. It's a really good story! (Mature too.)

"Oh God, someone go get a first aid kit!"

"Is she going to be okay?"

"She's going to be okay, don't worry-"

"She hit her head on a metal pipe hard just because you wanted to do truth or dare, you think she'll be okay!?!"

"How did we even get that anyways?"

"I called the ambulance and got the kit, she has a big gash on her forehead. Do you think she will survive?"

"I don't know sweetie, all we can do is hope..."

Where am I? It feels cold... like I'm on grass and mud-

Oh yeah, I remember now, I hit my head. Why did I follow that dare? I'm so stupid... but for now...

I opened my eyes to see trees all around me. The moon was shining and stars were everywhere. And what in front of me shock me the most. My hands are white hooves. The dots connected in my brain.

This was the start of my journey, and the following is how I made my first mistake. Never question the plot.

"So, the universe thought that putting me in a pony body was a good idea because I died, WELL THAT JUST GREAT BUT BECAUSE I LOVE THE SHOW DOESN'T MEAN I WANNA BE IN IT!" I raged. I stood up from the ground and looked into the background. The trees were all crooked and twisted, flowers of blue were in patches, evil faces were in the trees, and the moon hung above.

I was in the Everfree. The worst place to start.

"Oh just my luck, when will I get a break!" I said. Suddenly I felt a drop of water splash on my fur, seeping in to touch my skin. Then there are two.

And three,
then four,
then 100.

My fury just couldn't be contained anymore. My power melted into one big ball and out the hatch it goes. My unicorn magic escaped my horn and surprisingly knocked out the timber wolf I didn't notice that was trying to eat me. I felt adrenaline pump through me as I smiled. That was my first magic trick! I'm a unicorn! The rain stopped as soon as it started and I calmed down.

I looked into the puddle next to me to see my face. I was a foal with yellow and white hair. My horn was as light as a feather and bright as day. I had my cute little ears stuck out of my hair as I didn't mind that I was a kid.

"Wait, if I am in this show, does that mean I see the main characters? Oh heck yeah!"

"THE EVERFREE FOREST?!"

"Wha-" I said. I pulled myself together and hid in a bush while I peeked to see those colorful heroes.

"WEEE, let's go!" said Pinkie Pie. She was about to hop in the overgrown before my favorite pony stopped her.

"Not so fast," she stated. Everyone looked at her with questioning eyes as she continued her talk. "Look, I appreciate your help, but I rather do this on my own." It was Twilight!

"No can do sugarcube. We are sure not letting any friend of ours in that creepy place. We sticking to you like caramel on a candy apple." said AppleJack. Everyone nodded and went with AppleJack who was making her way down into the forest.

"Especially if there are candy apples in there! What, those things are good~" said Pinkie. Twilight groaned and started walking with the group. And I followed, knowing that if I ruined the plan, the night would last forever.

"So none of you have been here before?"

"Heavens no, just look at it, it's dreadful."

"And it ain't natural, folk say it doesn't work the same as Equestria."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"No pony knows, you know why?"

"Rainbow quit it!"

Fluttershy and Rarity's faces cringed.

"Because everyone who ever came in, had. Never. Come. OUT!"

That's when the cliff collapsed and four ponies came tumbling down. I was watching them tumble down before I tapped into my magic and rescued only Rarity and Pinkie Pie. I stopped AppleJack in her tracks and made the pegasus get in their positions. I tried to teleport to the Two Sister's castle before tripping over a branch and making Rarity and Pinkie looks my way.

"What was that?" said Pinkie Pie. I was silently praying that she wouldn't notice me for if she does, me and the storyline are doomed.

"It was probably nothing Pinkie. We should go with the others," said Rarity. She was walking carefully not to
get mud on her hooves and Pinkie followed quickly.

"Yea, I agree, besides it's all sad here."

The tension that washed over me passed away and I sighed. I tried to teleport, only to come out in the next scene of everyone starting to fight the manticore. The image was not pretty as everyone kept on losing and getting hurt as Fluttershy was trying to get their intention.

I tapped into my magic again to slow down the movements of the ponies except for Fluttershy and I left into the overgrowth. They can handle the rest, right? Well, yes but actually no.

The third event was fine only that Pinkie never explained why she was laughing for a whole solid two minutes. I facepalm when I passed through the area but almost got caught. They were now keeping their eyes out in case I'm Nightmare Moon. Great.

The fourth one was Rarity sacrificing her tail to the sea monster but she was too dramatic and made the sea monster go away. But Rarity didn't care cause she still did the job of making the river slow down. I was going to make the sea monster stay, but either way, they will learn about generosity, even if someone doesn't take it.

The fifth one was where Rainbow Dash tied the bridge and to not join the Shadowbolt's side. And for some reason, she ignored Twilight when she was about to fall off the cliff and almost joined the evil side. This is one of the reasons why she isn't my first favorite pony. She's close though.

Anyways they made theirs to the two-sister castle where Nightmare Moon resided. I was following Twilight's trail while staying unseen and saw a torn-up cloak. I wore it and watched. Twilight was focusing on the elements in stone.

'How cool will it be to help Twilight in the ''battle''?'

'Hmm... But wouldn't it ruin the plot?'

'Not really. It is super fun!'

'But I don't wanna get in trouble-'

'LET DO THIS!'

My rationality lose to my guts as the elements glowed up. Being the person on the track team, I quickly dashed into the mist that was taking her.

Gotta go fast.

Me and Twilight jumped into the teleportation spell NM casted. She was surprised at first but overall, didn't ask me anything for now. Her eyes were set on the Elements of Harmony after all.

As soon as we landed on the floor, Nightmare moon laughed. The elements were in her...mane and Twilight eyes widen. I backed up to a corner of the wall and sat as she readied her teleportation spell. So much for helping her, I realized that I barely have any combat strength. As I was ridiculing myself, the scene played.

"You're kidding. You're kidding right?" Nightmare Moon said. Twilight put herself into a charging position. She ran as Nightmare moon did too. When they should have collided, Nightmare moon looked in disbelief as Twilight was gone. She looked to the elements where Twilight were now standing. I could swear I saw a smirk on Twilight mouth for a second before her returning to the task.

"Just one spark..." she said. The elements glowed up and started to work. Nightmare Moon transformed into an purple mist and darted over to the Elements of harmony.

'Should I, or should I not stop Nightmare Moon?' I thought. 'Nah, it too much of a hassle. Also it'll be impossible for me to do it right now...'

Even though I had a pretty good magic affinity, it doesn't mean I can do everything I wanted.

Nightmare Moon quickly made a electricity spell and zapped Twilight away. She made grunting noise as she slid on the floor. When she was finish, she looked up to Nightmare moon as they said,

"No, NO!"

The elements hovered sightly above the ground before giving up and falling back down. Twilight gasped as she said,

"But where's the sixth element-"

Nightmare moon showed relief before she started to cackled as she smashed the elements, leaving them only as pieces. Twilight face was mixed with feelings but she could feel only thing clearly.

Dread.

"You little fool, thinking you can defeat ME! Now you will never see your little Princess or your sun. The night shall last forever!" she said. Twilight's hope clinged onto a blazing tightrope before shouts of encouragement came. The ponies walking upstairs were none other than those colorful heroes.

A spark ignited from the depths of Twilight and her bravery finally spoke for her. Meanwhile, my thoughts blocked the whole conversation and was thinking about how I even got here. Yes I died from a... dare, but still, I should think about a more awesome death if someone from the real world came up to me and said, 'I know who you are, I'm 'insert name here' and I died by 'blah blah blah'. And you?" or something like that.

Maybe I could say I drowned? Or froze to death in the north pole? No, that's stupid. Maybe got striked by lighting. Rare, but the chances are never zero. Wait, do I even have a name? Hmm...

Maybe I could be called Lighting Heaven, cause I should have gone to Heaven! Wait no, that's a lie. But I pretty much look like a yellow and white blur, so 'why not' is the question. And it fits better with how I wished I died: Lighting! Wait, even better, I can learn spells that can deliver either Hell or Heaven, oh now I regretting to say that I don't wanna be here. Now what should I do in this world full of ponies...I think about it later.

Getting back to the 'real world', (not so sure this is a big dream or reality), Twilight and her friends finished off Nightmare Moon and were now noticing their necklaces/jewels. Applejack thought Twilight was sprouting a lot of hooey. Not like I blame her, one night and all this happens...

"Who are you, and where did you come from!" said Rainbow Dash to me all the sudden.

Ack, I forgot I was still here. Better wish I disappear, or just try to do an invisibility spell.

I was still sitting down and retained a calm face, even though the hoodie of the cloak was keeping my face from being seen. I remained silent and Rainbow anger rose up. I swear if she hit me right there I would not have mercy on her. Even if she a element, I can and would kill her, no hesitation. (Still forgetting my combat capability, nada.)

"Rainbow Dash, who was the one to get you to tie the bridge? If it wasn't for my magic, you wouldn't be here." I said coldly. I was kind of an introvert in my life so speaking isn't my suit, but I got better until I died. So talking shouldn't be a challenge, right?

That was when I made another mistake, never say those cursed words, 'Shouldn't be a challenge, right?' I was lucky Celestia was coming to the rescue.

"Indeed you do." Celestia said, ignoring all that Rainbow Dash said. I 'disappeared' (I learned the invisibility spell!) after everyone look to the Princess who was gleaming with glory. I loved Celestia almost as much as Twilight, though I love to make Twilight evil and defeat her countless times as a 9 year old. Good old times.

"Princess Celestia!" Twilight said. She ran to her as Celestia said,

"Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student."

While they do their thing, I was thinking about what shall I do I the world, again. Maybe take over it? Then the other nations? That will be a long time enough to be entertaining. And while I do that, I find some people who got reincarnated like me. I ran off into the forest on a quest to find Ponyville, and to conquer it, eventually.

Walking in the middle of a mysterious forest wasn't an good idea. At all. Why? Because there's animals trying to eat me, not to mention that I'm STARVING. I could eat that rotten flesh of a manticore or the wood of a timberwolf if it wasn't so disgusting. I could actually die if I ate either of those two.

My stomach growls.

I'm hungry.

'The Conditions were met. The Hunger (Extra) (Lv1) was awoken.'

A voice in my head that was definitely not mine was telling me the hunger was awoken. My mind starts to get hazy as I fell down to the ground. My vision blurred and my hearing dampened. All the things that my hoof touched turn into slimy icky goo.

'The Hunger will do the following actions: Increase your magic vasty, defense will be a all time high, Offense will be a all time high, your energy will be worn out quickly depending on it LV, Will not stop until it found a buffet meal, and you will obtained Craving.

Do you accept your fate? (YES, NO)'

Well that was rude. My fate, pushaw, It probably just a side effect to being a unicorn and having magic spurts. Even in my condition...hehe. Might as well pick it...

"Yes...haha..."

'The Hunger will take over your body. Still wish to follow through?"

"I said 'Yes', Bi-"

'Starting now, Idiot.'

And I fainted.

A few ponies walked through the dark forest, barely being serious about their surroundings as giggles of a filly rang through the forest. Their eyes were facing forward to the incoming town right ahead to see what the party was about. They were a neigh-ouring village and rather stay hidden. After all, mistakes could happen.

A few of their people complained about the extra ruckus they were making today and they didn't want their little secret to be spilled out by those annoying ponies, so they went out to the wild to see what it was about.

"Sunshine, Sunshine, ladybugs awake, clap your hooves and do a little shake..." someone not so far away from them muttered. She dug at the ground with each step she took.

"I love that rhyme... I'm so hungry..."

But what they didn't know that a little filly was behind them, breathing heavy to attract their attention. Her only intention was to eat, and they would make a perfect meal if they drown in sorrow.

She readied her position...

They turned around...

CRUNCH SNAP

Their bones snapped as she violently open those delicious insides. They didn't get a chance to scream for she ripped the heads from the body.

'The conditions have been met, Vampire (Extra) (LV1) have been contained. Craving have been obtained.

You have earned the titles 'Vampire', 'Kin Eater', 'Merciless'.'

Walking around the forest... been days already. After the incident of me eating ponies...

God, I shouldn't have done that, now the so called system is gone too! Was it a illusion? I'm pretty sure it was...

I wandered around the the forest, knocking down any manticore or monster which unfortunately came in my path.

Trees... hut... even more tr-

Wait, what?!

I'd accidentally found Zecora little excuse for a house. Shouldn't the Alicorn Amulet be in there in season 3? Either I find the vendor who gave Trixie the powerful artifact or just wait for the possible immortality. Honestly, only a episode of My Little Pony will be missed. Sorry Trixie, no comeback for you today.

Though, I not going to pass up a chance of a visit to the zebra, and what's stopping me? The princesses? Psshaw, they probably don't know I exist- wait. They probably do. My bad.

I walked up to the door of the hut and knocked. The zebra didn't open the door, but she definitely stopped whatever she was doing.

"Who is there, is it the evil tree? If it is, leave me be!"

"No I'm not a timberwolf, Zecora."

"Who is that know my name. Answer before I put you to flames!"

Isn't this TV show suppose to be family-friendly? But then again, thinking about what I was doing, it probably changed. I rather not be chicken too, god so help me Zecora. The door was unlocked so I opened the door. The room was filled the the ingredients Zecora used to make her brew, and the cauldron was holding the unknown. Zecora was with her spear, ready to strike any pony who get in her way, and that pony was me. Looking around me were all kinds of books of incantations, spells, and potions, including some that may help me get out of my predicament.

The art of the mind. Also know as mind control.

Honestly, do I even need to tell you my plan?

I grab the book with my magic quickly, barely trying to hind the fact that I going to use her knowledge against her. She sprinted to me, ready to piece my heart. Her attacks coming nonstop, I dodged subtly, reading the interesting pages of the book.

The art of the mind is a simple task for necromancers and dark magic practicers. Regular unicorns or potion makers could learn this too, but they will have a difficult time learning.

I see but I'm talented, besides in one of the fics I read, Twilight is a necromancer, and she was like, six. I could learn it in two shakes of a reindeer tail. I kept on dodging the attacks of the zebra with ease for school was like a training ground for this.

You need to calm down and relax, breaking from the bonds of life. Close your eyes, and take deep breaths. Embrace yourself, for this will not be comfortable for the both of you. The side effects could damage one psyche. If you could feel the string between you two, try to follow that string until you reach the mind. Use your magic to open up a small passage to the pony mind. You want to reach the core for you to be successful and all you have to is overpower it.

That sounds easy. Though, this sounds too easy to be true.

Zecora only slashed off a hair. I'm really good at multitasking.

I did exactly what the book told me to do: relax. I breathed slowly while dodging Zecora weakening attacks. I heard her breath as she weakly stabbed towards me. Does everyone here has short stamina or is it just me? I thought as the background around me darken.

The world just became a space of black to me. The whole area seems, so clear...it's like unlocking your sixth sense or something like that. All I know is that my body became clearer than it should have been and the world slowed down.

I spy with my little eye something white, skinny and probably magical. It's like string, but even thinner, and hard to track. I had to focus all of my eyes on that one speck of spider web or I lose it. That 'string' that I found is leading to the head of Zecora, who is coming at me with the speed of a turtle. I 'dodged' the spear and touched Zecora forehead which let out a ball of white energy. Hmm... I wonder what I do now? Oh yeah.

My magic quickly turned the tide of the battle as it drained the life out of the ball. It strained my horn, a lot, but it worked!
Zecora had been defeated. Cue the victory music!

Chapter 5

View Online

It was a knockout, Zecora is out cold. All that was left was her body with eyes that stared into the abyss. Honestly, was I born into this world that I might take over the role of main character. Maybe I was the main character on earth but who cares. I want action, drama, bloodshed... okay maybe not bloodshed but you know my point, I need something new other than this. Destroying everything in my path can get boring.

Well, my cutie mark disagrees.

Guess when I defeated Zecora, I got this thingy. Great. It look like edgy and emo. It's an red ritual circle with a black spot at the middle of it. It look ominous, it look scary, but it felt powerful for me. Like I was in control, which I would like to hear, but also no, then it will become boring which will defeat the whole purpose of me finding something new. Maybe I should follow the non existing rule, 'Friendship Is Magic.'

Or maybe just open up portals to other worlds to conquer. That'll be fun.

Anyways, I headed out of Zecora hut being satisfied from overpowering the shaman. I walked on a random path on the ground, just wondering how will I make it through this world when...

"Ow!" I said in a high-pitched voice. I didn't know my voice can go up that high. I walked into a freaking wall. A wall of a house.

Math ran through my head while I added that:

Wall equals house, which the following means house equals civilization.

I did my happy dance in my brain while I celebrated that I found life that could house me until I was ready with a proper plan.

I slowly walked to the front of the house to also see the start of a sunset. Ah, quite scenic...

Then the rest was a blur as I fainted on the spot. Why you ask? The reason is hunger. (I should have raided Zecora's food storage)

"Darling, are you okay?" said a familiar voice. I just can't hit the nail on the spot for who they are... Everything is a blur of colors, but I do see a lot of purple and white...

"What..." My instincts said. I identify the room around me only to see the different shades of purple, blue, gray, and yellow as I almost fainted again, only to be splashed with some water, starting up my body again and clearing the fog in my head. God I feel like throwing up.

"Rarity, they're waking up! Can I be friends with them!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Sorry Sweetie Belle but I need you to leave, besides didn't you have a meeting with your friends?" Rarity said.

"Oh right! about the Iron Pony Challenges, but aren't you coming too?" Sweetie Belle said with a pout. I guess some events pushed forward?

"I'll be there, but wait a moment." Rarity said, before pushing Sweetie out the room and locking the door.

"Now, you have a quarry to answer with me darling, cause I remember your voice from the first time me and the girls saw you."

"Oh, will I get a break?" I said, my squeaky voice never failing to make me sound like a 3-year old.

Chapter 6

View Online

I am locked up in a position that I didn't like at all.

Rarity's telekinesis me to sit on a chair in the middle of the room, with me being stuck on it with magical enchantments. Worst of all, its doesn't have any cushion for my bottom so now my butt is numb and sore. Maybe its a strategy to let me spill the beans?

"Now darling I have a few questions to ask you and we can go our paths. Quest-" Rarity said before getting interrupted rudely by Sweetie Belle.

"Rarity, you're taking forever! Can we go now?"

"Sweetie Belle-" Rarity suddenly started talking in slow-mo. So did Sweetie Belle.

Ah yes, hello void.

I was calming down while they were bickering and manage to find my sixth sense again. I just have a hunch that I'm going to be using this a lot.

Anyways I broke the enchantments slowly that hold me earlier to move to the door- just until I had a idea.

I summoned the necromancy book I found at Zecora's and flipped the pages, to find an article about changing souls. I swear I found it somewhere while reading it. Did I mention that I love reading?

An pony soul is a blank slate to all Necromancers. The art of changing one's soul...

Blah, blah blah, lets get to the point. I swipe and stats and memories will appear. Delete memories, blah blah blah, Got it! Basically, browsing with yours truly, minds.

I swipe at Rarity's head and a big screen appeared. Of course I get slowly pushed by Rarity, which is trying to get me away from her. I just ignore her and focus on mon mission.

Pressing on the big button on the big screen that's called 'Memories', I browse Rarity's thoughts to see the most recent memory about me. I found it and double tap on it. God, this is too much like Google or any browser.

"For my next trick, watch this memory vanish into thin air." I said. In the bar that showed up there was the delete button, I pressed it and it disappeared into the unknown.

"Thank you, Thank you!" I said to the invisible crowd. I bowed down while ducking Rarity's flying slipper. I did the same to Sweetie Belle and made my leave.

Time was back to normal, and I made my way down town. I felt nothing can stop me!

But, after going a few steps from the boutique near a trail, a herd of ponies we're coming through, and it wasn't seem they're slowing down, even if they saw me.

"What the hay-" is all I managed to mutter before getting trampled by them, bringing my next predicament.

The numbers of time I have question the plot: Its over 9000!

Chapter 7

View Online

I should always keep attention to details, then maybe I won't have as much bruises as I have right now. You may be asking, 'But why are you hurt?', I tell you if I can because-

"Someone get me out of this mess!"

I was top of the herd of ponies as they raced for the finish line, some tripping over stuff and others who just can't keep up. Some were even top of the herd too, but in compromising positions. I was lucky that I was facing like a upside down turtle and can easily get up. Until one of my back hoofs fell into a gap.

I tried to pull out with my magic and leave so I can find an abandon house or just purloin someone else's to inhabit but then the gap suddenly loosen, causing me to trip and fall on the ground, getting knocked put in the process.

Few hours later

I regained conscious as everything swirled around me as a giant top. My head span like crazy as I was developing a headache and bile was crawling up my throat. I should stop being so reckless, but then again, that's no fun.

"Magic burnout, common for a filly, are you okay?" another familiar voice said. It was a male voice, and childish too. Where did I hear this one...

But then again, I rather not talk right now, who ever you are...

"Spike, she's the one who was in the two sister's castle! We need to identify her so we make sure she's not a threat."

"How am I a threat when I'm a filly." I muttered. I slowly stood up from lying down and getting into a sitting position. I stared in Twilight's eyes as my headache died down. Ah yes, Twilight and Spike, a classic duo. As I thought that, I made up a lie.

"My name is Lighting Heaven, and I'm a lost filly who wants to go home. So I followed you guys to the castle and saw that something was swallowing you up, Twilight." I told them calmly as I could.

"How do you know my name?" Twilight said. She had a surprised face on her head like on one of those children TV shows. Ah wait, she's a character in a TV show, my bad.

"Secrets Twilight, Secrets." I answered her. She huffed before asking me another question, giving me a skeptical expression.

"Why did you follow us?"

"Because you looked like you knew what you were doing. You did knew Nightmare Moon."

"Okay last question, where did you get that cutie mark?"

I looked down to my right to see my cutie mark is still the eerie, scary, dark cutie mark it has always been. Whoops.

"Uh, I think I heard my mother, see you soon!" I said in a hurry as I got up. Dodging Twilight and Spike, I made a run for the door.

Opening the door, I started to sprint out of the house as Twilight and Spike started to follow me. I tried to do an teleportation spell but it failed.

"Why did this have to happen? How the hell did Twilight and Spike find me in the first place? And why do I have to be so suspicious?" I said in each breath as I ran.

"After her Spike!" Twilight yelled. This must how Sunset felt when she took Twilight's crown. I ran into a small alley to catch my breath and try to teleport again, but it still didn't work. I started to sneak away back the Everfree just when Twilight and Spike got me with telekinesis.

"You got a lot of explaining to do." Spike said, with a eyebrow raised.

"I'm not even using 2% of my power." I said, starting to calm down. Sadly, I didn't realized my magic was disabled because of the ring on my horn. When I realized it didn't work, I started to panic.

"What does your cutie mark mean, Lighting Heaven?" Twilight asked again. This time she was very serious.

"I'll never tell you, I rather die." I said back to her while turning around, getting her out of my view. With me getting kidnapped two times in a row, do you really expect me to have a good mood?

Twilight sighed before walking the direction of Zecora's house with Spike following. This is going to be a hassle...

Chapter 8

View Online

Zecora was still the same as before, standing in one place just as I left her. Even so, I still couldn't use magic for some weird reason, so I doubt I can control her to do my bidding. Twilight was talking to Spike about what my cutie mark could possibly mean, but to be honest, I barely know either. I was in a bubble of magic and my hoofs were restricted so I couldn't take off the ring on my horn. I was pretty much hopeless.

Hey wait, how do they even know about Zecora? I questioned one of my thought trains in my mind as Twilight and Spike conversed.

"Spike, remember that old book that taught necromancy?"

"Yeah, what does it got to do about Zecora?"

"Her cutie mark must be related to that. It is an summoning circle after all."

Shoot, I can't let them capture me and ship me to the princesses. Thank you, not. Amazon is better. While I was rambling about Amazon and stuff, Twilight was looking at Zecora, flipping notes, and writing probably about the blankness in her eyes and how she doesn't responds to her. And while she was doing that, I managed to spruce up a conversation with Spike.

"Hey Spike, do you believe I'm a threat?" I said innocently, trying to do puppy eyes.

"Not in particular, you seem like you said; harmless. Twilight does tend to go over board quite a few times now."

"You know, my cutie mark actually means I just good at runes, right? Lots of ponies got confused about my 'perfect' mark." I lied. Spike should be gullible and not one of those fanfictions who think that Spike is basically Albert Einstein, right?

"What are runes?"

This is torture. Pain. I literally am the definition of jinx.

"Maybe of you tell Twilight to let me go, I can show you my collection!" I said, trying to hide the nervous undertone in my voice.

Please work, please let me have a break and let it work.

Spike shrugged and walked in the direction of Twilight, who had ten notebooks stacked next to her, along with the several books laying on the ground.

"Hey Twilight?"

"What Spike, I'm busy with this theory. Zecora is unusually-"

"Listen to me, she's just a filly Twilight. What can she possibly do to us?"

Lots, but I am rooting for you Spike!

"Don't you see that she just looking for her mother? We really just holding her hostage now. Let's just drop her off at the police station and not cause trauma to her, shall we? " he said seriously. Twilight face held a breath before dropping the notebook she was holding in her telekinesis.

"Fine Spike, but if somehow the world is burning down and the elements are shattered, I'm blaming you."

Finally I was let out of the bubble, dropping head first on the ground. They removed the ring on my horn, and finally I realized how stupid I am.

"Also, continuing about Zecora, I think she is possessed by some sort of magic. I can't trace where the spirit is in her body, but I believe Celestia can help with that. Besides it pretty late..." she said before slowing down as I calmed down.

Well, can I just leave it here? Shouldn't I wipe their memories just in case, as you know who will show up with a power beam to the moon. I wonder how Luna didn't go insane already... I know! I'll just erase some cut scenes and replace them with some other stuff.

I teleported the book to the hoofs and flip the pages while thinking where I will live while ignoring the glares I received from Twilight and Spike. I can't just live in the wild like a homeless person. Maybe I can live with them, hell, I could even control them. Be their leader of some sorts. They do have a big influence in the series. Are we even following the series anymore? Either way, its a good idea.

Shortly after, I found the page I was looking for and changed Twilight and Spike's memories. Time returned to normal and as if nothing happened, I was picked up by Twilight.

"So sorry, but I couldn't let your pristine coat get dirty, get off my back Spike, why're you even there?"

Spike got off quickly, as he apologized to Twilight and I. As she lifted me on her back and started to move, I thought of a plan to do while I live in this supernatural world, where another threat is in store. After all, what fun is it to control things from the background? Absolutely yes and no.

A few hours later

Twilight was out shopping for dinner while Spike was trying to hit on Rarity, so I was alone reading whatever I could about magic and history I didn't pay attention to in the show. Apparently there is three types of magic.

First is the regular day to day magic. It varies through to different elements and other stuff. So basically it's the default of this magic system. Its also what most magic users use for magic attacks if they don't do necromancy, which is the second type.

Necromancy is the magic of the soul, magic of the dead, or as I like to call it, unlimited power. It lets you control anypony, though it is easier when it, uh, dead. Only specific races can do it though, so barely anyone can experience the probably horrific scene. Some ponies are exceptions if they do a sacrifice though. I wonder how I did it...

The last one is enchantments, like the Crystal Heart, or Grogar's bell. They can only do limited things depending how much magic is put into there, and how strong the user is. Luckily, basically almost everyone can do it, as long they have some magic.

So, if somehow I can't use necromancy, now I can either use enchanted items, or just use basic magic.

My stomach rumbled as I realized I haven't ate anything in a while and probably on the way to dying because of starvation. Where is Twilight when I need her? Maybe I should go check, just in case.

I went outside and wandered around the town, hoping to find some traces as where Twilight could have gone. I didn't find a clue until...

"Come one and all, come witness The Great and Powerful Trixie!" Trixie shouted. Fireworks shoot up to the sky, becoming bright colors as the crowd cheered except for the Mane Six. Clearly, they were furious. I wonder where this will go...

"Come one and all, come see the Great and Powerful Trixie! Watch in awe as I preform the most amazing magic you will ever see!" Trixie said. Snips and Snails were buying the act, while the rest of the crowd were just plain confused and angry, like...

"How dare you say your, your deception!" Rarity said. She was fuming at Trixie, as she should be. I only liked Trixie later in the series, and I mean WAY back into the series.

"Come on, no one is as powerful as Lig- Ligh-, oh uh- Hey Rarity, Oh my mustache!" Spike ran away from Rarity, who was looking dumbfound at Spike stuttering.

"Who dares to challenge me, but at last, no one can beat me, you'll just embarrass yourself in the process of facing me!"

"Now hold on a second! You can't just go around saying that stuff, especially me being the one to show off!" Rainbow Dash said. She immediately shoot towards the sky, colliding with clouds, and collecting their raindrops. She twirled around the sun once, spun around the windmill near by, and landed on stage, with a rainbow following her, showing above on her head.

"That's why they call me, 'Rainbow Dash'!" She said.

The crowd cheered to the stunt as Trixie scoffed.

"When Trixie is through, the only thing they'll be calling you is 'loser'."

Suddenly, the rainbow that was above Rainbow Dash's head was encasing her, making her spin around and making her look like a clown. The crowd filled with giggles and laughter, as Rainbow flopped down from the stage and crash landed on me. Ow.

"Now that's just it Trixie, you gone on far enough. If your so grand and all, why didn't you enroll in Celestia's gifted school? We don't need you to show off around these parts, maybe when you save the world then we'll praise you. And for the 'usra major', you can't just tell us, you got to show it! Action speak better than words!" I said as I threw Rainbow Dash off of me. I had enough.

"So you little foal, you want to challenge me?" Trixie said, completely ignoring my question. Rude, but yes.

"If that be teaching you your lesson, so be it!"

The crowd was muttering and rumoring, 'how can a simple foal beat a fully grown mare?'. I rather not do this, especially on an empty stomach, but if I just let this moment slip by, I be kicking myself. Besides, against an show off does seem like a cool battle theme...

Twilight and Spike were cheering for me, as the rest were watching closely as the battle started.

FIGHT! Trixie threw a smoke ball, blinding me and the crowd, luckily, I covered my eyes with very poorly but effective magic-made goggles so the fight continued. Trixie started to shoot random projectiles at me at all angles, as I swiftly dodged.

"Look at you, fighting a child with dirty tricks, be fair Trixie! Boo!" a random civilian said as other agreed. Soon the whole crowd as booing for Trixie, as they started to leaving one by one. Why would they pay to watch this filthy pony do boring tricks, much less watch them bully me? The fog cleared as I dispelled my goggles. Sorry Trixie, sacrifices will be made.

"Wait, The great and humble Trixie apologize!" Trixie said desperately as even Spike and Twilight left. All the other ponies were asking for refunds. She gave them the bits, then looked at me.

"Now look at what you done! I lost today's bits because of you. You better watch out, I will be back!" she said, kicking me out of the stage and going back to her wagon.

I didn't want to do anything really, so I went back inside the library where Twilight and Spike were setting the table for lunch. The rest of the day went by in a flash, until I remember something.

There was still one more thing I have to take care of. Trixie could actually hurt me if I don't take out the variable.

The alicorn amulet.

I quickly rose up from my bed and creeped by Twilight and Spike, who were sleeping on the floor. Apparently they don't consider themselves worthy of using even Spike's bed. I opened the door and rushed into the night.

I went down the streets, trying to find somewhere where the store might be until I bumped into Trixie wagon. Saying that it wouldn't hurt to take a peek, I looked through the tiny window as the side. Then I frowned.

"This amulet was worth almost of Trixie money. That filly brat won't know what hits her. Soon I will be actually be the Greatest and Powerful pony in the world!" she said. She laughed till the end of time, coughing every few moments.

Trixie had her weapon, the trap was set, all she needed to do was to make a fool out of me. Little did she knew, I had already won.

Her laugh was shortly cut off as her pupils turned white and she dropped the amulet. Foam was forming on the side of her mouth. I walked through the door, taking the amulet from the ground and putting it on. I decided to take Trixie wagon near Twilight's library so I made Trixie push it there. When we were there. I wobbled on the stairs and headed to my room with Trixie still in her wagon, sleeping never to wake up again.

Hopefully the butterfly effect won't hit me!

Chapter 10

Two days later, the amulet actually started taking affect. I felt more malicious intents, and maybe less hesitation for stuff, not like it was already fueling the burning passion to rule Equestria. Maybe how the amulet works is it provoke your more... corrupt inner thoughts. Sounds a lot like a certain villain in the Crystal Empire.

I had a bit of an fiasco in the library while trying to make an enchanted item that tracks movement when its in contact of another pony. I'm planning to have it radius stretch to Ponyville to Canterlot and everything in between. So far, all I did is explode one of the flasks. Twilight apologize for not doing it for me though, so she's laying out the details of the project. She's doing a really good job, so I bet she'll get it done soon. But sadly it wasn't soon enough, and so because of my request we had some problems.

The last two day were exhausting as hell. For starters, the Dragonshy episode was boring as watching paint for relaxation and that being the only thing you do. And not to talk about Twilight deserting Fluttershy so she can get back to making the item faster, so I had to personally walk to where Fluttershy was and counsel her feelings just for a little bit to get the episode moving on. Though she was suspicious of me, so that wasn't good.

The next one was Applejack and Rarity coming over to Twilight's house because of a storm. Being the introverted person I am, I hid from them while watching them fight with Twilight's books and pillows while Twilight had the 'This is fine' expression. The scenario of this happened for a good while before Spike got tired of it. I placed a bet on myself to see if they would learn anything, and I'm not sure if I won.

And now today was me having a headache of summoning Zecora to come to Ponyville. Apparently I can't just be in Ponyville and try to call Zecora to come to here. This 'unlimited power' was actually limited in a way. So, I got the brand new cloak I made Trixie bought and went a good three-fourths of the way with Spike there before I finally got Zecora to come, and then chaos happened.

First of all, after all the ponies left the vicinity, I even forgot that Twilight exist, so instead of her coming to Pinkie's pastry shop with Spike, I did. Pinkie Pie basically yeeted me into her shop after she gestured me to get close. Spike was basically left outside, so I gestured him to come.

So far everything was going good. Although I got blinded by the flashlight Pinkie was carrying, have to comfort Spike for 'zombie ponies' and...

Everything wasn't going good.

"Isn't that the filly we saw at the Two Sister's castle!?" Rainbow Dash acussed. "Why is she, out of the whole population of Equestia, here!?"

Not you again Rainbow Dash...

The rest quieted her down, but her glares at me wasn't very reassuring. The others wasn't helping, giving me questioning glances and sometimes straight up not looking at me when I glanced at them. I felt very offended, but now wasn't the time. I focused Zecora to try and dig for something, but then my memory failed me. What was she looking for again? I looked out of the window watching her, while the others crept up and viewed too.

But I guess it was all for naught, cause as soon Zecora barely glanced this way, everyone but Applebloom and me flipped out and hid. Again. Wait, everyone?

Spike acted on his own, that wasn't good. Or maybe his fear was not put on the right subject. I have to look into that later.

Meanwhile, they all threw their family friendly curses to Zecora, calling her 'scary' and 'sinster'. Honestly they have much better people to fear, and they pick a zebra.

They all glanced at Zecora again, and she threw down her hood to better dig at random places. Her zebra mane was shown, but all they could say was in the following.

"Just look at that horrendous mane! I couldn't live if I had that hair cut!" Rarity said.

They panicked again, then I realized the problem.

They were too scared to continue the story line.

Okay, okay, I need to think this inside and out. When I get distracted or lose my very good memory, I make plans. Even my lazy bum can do something good. The ponies were conversing with each other, keeping their whispers to minimal. But back to my point, first up, Plan A!

Plan A:

1. Get Applebloom up and moving, we need the story to continue. This is the top priority.

She shouldn't be moving yet, but when I get to the next part, she has to be gone or else I fear for the worst.

2. Try to make the group's racism lesser or better yet, gone.

That I think we have a problem. My social skills suck, acting cold I can do that in my sleep. Acting persuasive, then I'm up and out of there. Sadly I think my world domination plan in progress would be ruined if I do run, so it brings me to actually say something. Scary.

Here I go, don't mess this up Light! I made a noise so that everyone can acknowledge me, then I started to speak.

"Everyone, don't you think that the zebra is just doing it's own thing, then your judging it for nothing?"

Rarity, Fluttershy, and a few more gave me questioning looks, yet let me continue. But barely when I got into the first word, I got shot down by a few simple but very powerful words.

"Don't talk while the big ponies are talking, Lil filly." AppleJack said, giving me a stern warning. But I got my point across, only if barely slightly. They all still shy away, but it seems like they aren't flat out terrified of Zecora anymore. But more progress must be made before anyone notice Applebloom squeezing herself through the doors right now.

"But aren't you straight up just discriminating her at this point!? No pony has ever talked to her, don't you think they have feelings too!? They're probably just looking for help!" I said, staying firm on my words. Apple Jack pondered on the statement while the others tried to quiet me down. I definitely got my point across now.

Yay me! Now me and the plot shall live, even thrive a bit more!

Now Zecora should leave. I see Applebloom getting closer and closer to her. I guess she left while me and AppleJack were bickering about rights and stuff.

I channeled my energy to Zecora, while staying in the background so no pony would query me. Soon enough, Zecora gave up digging and head out. Applebloom, who was getting close, suddenly starting to jog, and whatever to Zecora asking her questions and trying to probe her. Which was honestly, wasn't bad! The world was starting to take pity on me! My karma was finally taking a turn for the better.

All of the characters in the room looked and screamed for Applebloom to get back here, but alas, Applebloom and Zecora was nearing the Everfree Forest outline, so their shouts were null. Now, I think we should just follow the flow, and then everything would turn out fine. I said my farewells to the group while the commotion was happening. I brought Spike with my magic as he was still observing Zecora. The feeling of power it gave to manipulate everything behind the screens is quite addictive.

The story probably won't continue if I leave, but at least I deserve a break, right?

Now back to library, my beloved servant is waiting.

I walked to the library, unaware of one pony following me secretly...

"Hi Twilight, I'm back!" I said to the purple colored pony. She waved before focusing on her work. Spike was still following me, so I guess it's just the three of us. I walked towards the stairs, before closing the door lightly on Spike, telling him not to follow me.

I lazily flopped on the bed and stretched, I think I had enough social interaction for today. I closed my eyes for a nap, before...

I heard the front door slam open, and so did my eyes. Who the hay is here?! My magic sparked out of here, setting a little fire. I stamped it out before doing the pony equivalent of tip-toeing. I creaked the door open, peeking through the crack. There I saw a rainbow colored blur and Twilight talking. Why is Rainbow Dash here!?

"Twilight, why the hay is that... filly in the library?! She's clearly a threat!" She yelled. I guess while having loyalty, she can abandon her friends for me! How admirable. Well guess what Rainbow Dash, I'll take you as a threat too! How bout that?!

I rambled in my thoughts as I watched the scene play out. Rainbow Dash playing aggressive as Twilight gave reasons why I'm here, while not leaking too much.

I guess while she's here, maybe I can add her to my collection? Gotta catch em all after all. Although I'm making way too many changes to the plot, it is already changing by itself, isn't it? My overall presence changes it. It's quite weird.

But just before I could open the door, a electric streak of pain coursed through me. I let out a yelp as I backed away from the door, with each step causing more pain and aches. I got the bed, although slowly. This wasn't the time, really...

I looked down to the amulet. It was shining brightly, with it's crimson eerily light shinning brightly. It was a contrast to my color palate of a pony, yet why was it acting up all the sudden? There wasn't a manual for this thing at all! I have myself to blame though, I shouldn't easily mess around with the dark arts. A few minutes passed, Rainbow Dash left, and Twilight and Spike were oblivious to the things happening here. Why couldn't they hear me? I wasn't very quiet when dealing with physical stuff.

Suddenly, a bright light flashed in the middle of the room, a vortex or portal or some sorts. It was dark and black with all that shady good stuff. I felt a temptation to go, but I didn't even trust myself anymore. With the plot changing, I can understand, but what is even happening anymore!?

As I watched the potential portal to who knows where exist, I could make out a figure slowly but surely trotting to me. They are an pony too at least, but they seem quite similar yet so different to me...

With a hood covering part of their hair, I can still see the yellow and white pattern I bear too. And the horn I entered the world with. One feature is noticeable though, they have no cutie mark. Even though they have a hood covering their head, it seems to end at the neck. They also have a necklace with a complex engraving on a red piece of stone. A engraving looking too much like my cutie mark!

Wait, don't tell me this is multiverse shebang! My introvert self cannot manage this! Retreat! Retreat!

They seem quite familiar, that's for sure. Hoping that's not me, I quietly and gently hopped of the bed. Still feeling pain, ouch. I walked up to the portal, although hesitantly. Bracing myself, I pushed myself into the portal. Not seeing any more appendages attached to me, I started to walk, one step after another. Seeing how there's no rush, the tension in the air makes it so suffocating to walk.

Who are they? What do they want? Why are doing this? Questions filled up my thoughts as we almost met, their facial features only becoming more apparent. But how are they related to me?

The amulet? The necromancy book? Or simply something else out of my reach?

I stopped as I gazed above me, seeing how they also did that. My legs were slightly quivering at the eye contact. They seem to be looking quite surprised for some reason. Why?

"When did I become so short?" They said, in a similar voice as mine too. As a possible dimensional creature with abilities to destroy universes for all I know, that's the only thing you can say?! When did I-

The realization hit me. I? But they're clearly referring to me... Are they from the future? Clueless from the questions in my head, they continued.

"Well, 'Lighting Heaven', say hello to Rae," she said, then slowly leaning towards me. I could feel their breath brush against my ears. I stood on the edge, my nerves absolutely going out of control.

"Your originator."

Lighting Heaven's visioned blacked out.

Rae carried the passed-out Lighting Heaven to the bed. As she passed through the portal, time seemed to slow down till it stopped.

"Man, you past out only hearing a bit I need to tell you, I need to help with your skill issue." she said, most likely refering to the pony levitating in the air next to her.

She dropped her on the bed before looking around the room. She checked drawers, closets, yet she couldn't find what she was looking for. Then while passing the floor, she stumbled on the thing she was looking for.

"My book..." she said to herself. She gently levitated the book towards her. She flipped through the pages, finding it ironic and cringy her notes was. She then turned to Lighting Heaven again, her face full of regret.

"Too bad we can't be together as one yet, I bet you're having fun in..."

She suddenly looked towards air, surprise on her face.

"How did they find me so fast! Troublesome."

She quickly note a few more things in the book before setting it down. She then quickly returned back towards the portal. She snuck one last glance at Lighting Heaven before she ran in and close the portal.

A few moments passed and another being came in, this one also having a unicorn outline. But there wasn't no facial details about them. In fact, there wasn't anything about them at all. Just having a mouth. They quickly looked both ways before creating another portal crossing through another galaxy.

But before they rushed through it, they saw Lighting Heaven.

"Another one? She created another?" they said. They were currently standing before them, seemingly fascinated in Lighting Heaven.

"Guess I can make it an actual challenge this time..." they said. They then grabbed the necromancy book and scribbled in it too. She set it down and started the multi-dimension race again. The portal closed and time seemed to go normal once again.

At Canterlot, the days were bustling with ponies trotting to work. Uptight and snobbish nobles held their head high as they passed through their deluxe streets. Fillies head out to school as everyone thought this was a fine day.

Celestia walked through the hallways of the castle, seemingly thinking. With ruling the whole of Equestria, she had a whole workload in return. Luckily she had Raven, or she feared she would've collapsed under all the documents and papers. She gave her thanks to Raven as she turned at a junction to the kitchen.

As she passed through the hallways, she stumbled upon the library.

"It wouldn't be bad to send Twilight some more books..." she said to herself. She just knew that her knowledge loving pupil would love it. She even caught Twilight trying to steal some books when she was a little filly. Such memorable times...

She entered into the library, smelling the ink, parchment, paper, and the slow mood of the library all made it a comfy place to stay and read. She greeted the librarian as she walked through the Magic Arts section. Selecting the books she thought Twilight would be interested in, she unearthed a hidden book behind the shelves.

"Must be a book which got pushed back." she mumbled as she levitated to the edge, where it belonged. It was beaten up, most likely a old book which went through lots of things. But as she read the title, she got more interested.

"The Tale of the Cursed Necromancer?" she muttered. She didn't had any good encounters with necromancers, seeing how they raised the dead, lifting them from their slumber just to do work. But an cursed one? She was intrigued.

She headed for a seat before sitting her rump down. As she got more comfortable she opened the book, wanting to read more.

There was once a little filly who was deemed the purest in the land. But inside, she was-

"That's not a good start." Celestia immediately said. She could feel the staleness radiating from the sentence, and the impression lessened.

"Maybe Twilight would want to see this too." she said to herself. A fictional story could break up the platitudinous Twilight, giving her a new genre to read, even though not very good. She quickly skimmed through the book, before she came before something interesting.

...The Necromancer raised a cult, bringing them to unimaginable powers. And with that, their confidence soared, and they began their conquest for the world. Bringing nation after nation into ruin, converting more followers, and getting more strength, it was also like they were unstoppable.

As the necromancer almost had victory in their hands, tasting it in the mouth, another pony appeared. They were colorless, black being their...everything as they had a white outline. It was never seen before. And with them, they brought extraordinary powers with them.

It was almost as if them and the necromancer were equal as they clashed. But the mysterious pony prevailed, bringing the necromancer to Death's door.

But as a mercy of their own, they cursed them, giving them a blight. The necromancer couldn't see, their eyes eternally damaged. And shackles bonded them, restricted them of escape and recking havoc upon the land again. The savior brought the necromancer with them, also leaving us with a gift.

They made us forget everything, apologizing for the inconvenience. But I already wrote it all...

Celestia closed the book, knowing it was all theories after that. But she still put it in the stack for Twilight to read, just knowing it was a good read after a few paragraphs. But as she checked them in, she suddenly thought of something.

"That one filly I met at the old castle..." she thought. It's existence was like the necromancer, almost resembling it as she remembered reading a bio of it. And with its unordinary comprehension to certain things...

Celestia shook her head. It was impossible, wasn't it? It was only a filly, it could've been gifted. And she might be wrong too, she couldn't know everyone's story after all. She only had a few candidates for possible Alicorns, and she knew the filly isn't in it.

Celestia used the messaging magic to send the books to Twlight, as she glanced through a window near her, looking down to Ponyville and the Everfree Forest.

It just couldn't be... right?

Celestia assured herself, as she began her daily trot to the kitchen again, in search for delicacies once again.

Ugh... What happened? I found myself on the bed, tucked in and all. How long have I been out..?

The light was blinding my eyes as soon as I opened them. The room was basically how I left it, with a few things out of place. Who dares ravages my room? Annoyance filled me as I sat up.

My head is still fuzzy, lets recall what happened. What did I eat...

Suddenly, the memories came rushing back. One second, meeting a god, another second, finding out I'm fake... wait no, I'm not fake, am I? Why am I having a existential crisis right now? I should be worrying about other stuff, shouldn't I? Like, what's the date? And what episode is happening right...

Dread suddenly welled up in me. Holy cow, I forgot about Zecora.

Noting that the pain I was feeling before was gone, I quickly ran up to the nearest window to me and observed the surroundings. There was ponies walking through, like nothing happen. Oh dear god, what happened while I was out?

Okay, okay, let's analyze the situation, I'm going way too fast. I need some time to absorb the new info I got. Like, maybe the pony which visited me before? And I need the time, stat.

I searched the room in the quest to find some more information, until I had a brilliant idea. I should just ask Twilight or Spike! They're aren't for show after all. And I wonder if Twilight finished my artifact...

I opened the door to the library, seeing the blueprint of the artifact on the table, with a blue object on it. Twilight was cleaning the place along with Spike who was complaining about it. Seems like the episode with Zecora is over. Guess it really didn't need me to finish it. I wonder how it progressed though...

Coming down the stairs and almost tripping, I scanned the room for the calendar. Finally finding it, I rushed over. 24th of this month. I could swear it was the 23th when I still in the Zecora episode. Seems like it's only been a day.

Relief washed over me as I walked towards to the table, requesting Spike for breakfast. He eagerly ran up to the kitchen as soon I'd finished my sentence, with Twilight As I waited, I checked out the blue object on the table. Oh wait, is this a gift?

The shiny blue box I saw from the distance was a wrapped gift. Wonder who it's for. Maybe they won't mind if I steal it. They probably won't even know. As I was eyeing the delicate covered box with a ribbon upon the top, Twilight noticed me almost tucking it away.

When did I get so greedy anyways? Twilight walked towards me with an amused expression on her face.

"Lighting Heaven, that's for you! There's no need for you to try and steal it." she said. "That's the tracking device you wanted! I just thought you would want it gifted to you." she added with a lovingly smile. She levitated the present towards her and straighten the crumbles and folds around it.

"Oh, thanks!" I said. Immediately snatching it away and opening it like a gremlin, I saw a small green pulsating crystal in the middle of the paper. Picking it up with my mouth, I gazed at the crystal under my muzzle with the reflection blinding my eyes. I lay it down on the table excitedly.

With Spike serving my breakfast I asked, "Hey Twilight, it's almost time for winter, right?"

After all, I vividly remember the Swarm of the Century episode after Zecora's, then there's the Winter wrap up. Autumn is in the air, the crusty and dusty bookshelves testify for it. Hell, I swear we're going to get pumpkin spice in here sooner or later.

"Oh Light, you really do want the seasons over with. Winter isn't for a few more weeks!" she said while placing the last book in place, the last of the mess because of me now gone. She then added, "Also, I got you a few more books for your little magic show."

She waved a few new books in the air, the tantalizing leather and paper folding upon itself. Twilight unfolded it quickly, making sure the book doesn't have dog ears on the pages.

My emotions perked up as I rushed to grab the new reading material. I needed more knowledge for this world, after all, information is forever. Humanity wouldn't have evolved from their feral forms if they had no changes after all. Information and creating stuff is their thing. Though monkeys are so goofy, its quite cute.

I thanked Spike as I head back upstairs towards my room. Bringing the gem and books, I closed the doors and locked it. Seems like there won't a episode everyday anymore. Which is great, since I need a breather. I also need to increase my power, and learn more about the natural one. I can't just use necromancy for everyday movement.

Starting on the first one on the book, I read the title.

"The Tale of the Cursed Necromancer. Written by Smooth Pearl." I read out loud. This seems interesting, but it's not informational. I'll read it sooner or later, but for now I'll stick to a rule. Info first, enjoyment later. Besides, since when Twilight read about necromancers? When she met me in her life, of course. So, it's not weird for her to make me read this one.

I put the book aside as I grabbed another one.

"Kanthaka's Facts and Artifacts. This is what I'm looking for!" I cheerfully said as I immersed myself in the book. After that, a long study session begun.

Chapter 15

There, the last book.

I closed the cover of the book I finished while looking out the window. It was calming but blinding, so say of the least. And the dust particles all just bring it together.

It has been a while, it's already the afternoon. Once I get attached to a book, there's no going back. Not like it's a bad thing, I gone through all the books, except a few. I can save them for later, when I got more time. But for now, I think I need a well deserved break #2.

What, you expect me to go through all those books in one sitting session? Of course not, I had a lunch break. Not like I wanted to do it at first but Spike already was four universes ahead of me. He went ahead and made me lunch, knocked on my door, and set in on the table on me. Loving servants are so convenient.

So, any day now, Swarm of the Century can start. That's quite stressing, as I can't live without food. Or an house, if Twilight does the spell. We're talking about no food for a few days, and plus, things aren't as friendly family as in the original show. Either way, I should start with just skipping the episode all together. How so?

By simply keeping watch of Fluttershy for any movement like the episode, using my newly crafted gem. Damn Light, you have great foresight, and you're already sounding smarter! But for the moment, I have no short term goal I need to do. In summary, I'm bored.

I guess I can read the books I put aside for later. Other than the necromancer one, there was one about a changeling queen nymph, and an experimented soul pony, which is quite an interesting idea, but the grammar is like an car wreck. With all of my options, I think I'll chose the first one, thank you very much.

Picking the book out of the stack, I read the title.

"The Tale of the Cursed Necromancer." I read out loud. What an coincidence, I'm a necromancer too. Flipping the page, I started to read. But suddenly, a bright red flash came from the amulet blinded me. Swinging my arms rapidly while falling down, I panicked.

Hey, wait, wait, wait, wait! How come it's acting up again?! Is Rea coming back again? Please don't, I had enough adventure today, I'm begging you. Or is it the book? God damn it all.

When the flashing stopped, it was like it upgraded. Engraved in it was 7 slots, all which could fit a small gem. One of them was filled too, the original artifact.

I flicked the amulet. Oy, mind not doing that while I'm reading? But this is quite functional, and useful too.

I went to the present Twilight gave me. Levitating the gem out, I tried to fit it in one of the slots. After a bit of struggle, I managed to place the artifact in one of the other slots, therefore leaving 5 left for future use. Very convenient.

But sadly, I lost my mood for reading. Thanks a lot, amulet.

Hey wait a second, where's the book anyways? One second, it was on the desk, and now it's gone! Maybe I misplaced it while panicking. And I think I have to return these back to the library too! I started to look around for the missing book.

Eh, I'll ask Twilight to find it for me. It's not like it's actually important, and there must be other copies, right?

Welp, even if I can't read, I guess I can test the artifact out? Who knows, maybe I can find an ancient temple with my terrible timing luck. Unlocking the door to my room, I went downstairs.

"Hey Twilight, can you get me my hood and an jacket just in case? And do we have a filly scout outfit?" I asked. I took a box of cookies out of the kitchen for my delicious disguise.

What, you expected to me to walk all the way there without one? Yours truly knows better, especially after the Dragonshy episode.

Biding goodbye to Spike & Twilight, I head down to Fluttershy's house. Hopefully another Trixie situation won't happen. I need to be more low-profiled. And oh geez, it's cold...

Here we are! The cozy cottage for animals and more. Thankfully along the way, I didn't get lost, or meet any main characters. It's an ordinary day in Ponyville. I think so anyways.

Appreciating Fluttershy's decor skills, I knocked on her door. A few yelps of random animals, caws of birds, and shrieks sounding happened. Geez, what was she doing?

"Hello? Is anyone there?" I asked. Is she even here? I looked around while waiting for a bit. Then there I saw. A sign hanging off the door above me.

"Be back soon! Picking flowers for the Princess!"

The sudden dread and realization hit me like a brick.

Seems like I need to summon my track team self again. Such awful times...

I sprinted to the hills. How come the episode is happening now?! Though, it's a bit breezy and cold... oh wait, I'm stupid! The episode can happen now, and then the schedule can wait for a few weeks! Heck you, my luck!

Dashing towards the horizon of the sky, seeing a yellow blur in the distance, I cursed.

Why is it always me?!

The sun was high in the air, about in the middle. The early afternoon breeze was blowing, and there was a perfect number of clouds in the sky. The weather was perfect for a day to sit down and relax. If you were near the edge of the Everfree Forest, you could see in the distance you could see an arrange of animals scurrying around with a pony with them with a basket near a hill.

Fluttershy was gracefully kneeling to pick a flower, while her animals scuttered around to help too. With the help of her animals, and her wonderful singing/humming, she managed to almost pick a whole basket full of top-notch flowers, which she was sure Princess Celestia would dearly enjoy.

While she was taking a little break, a squirrel came near her and tugged her tail. When she looked around, it presented her with a dandelion. Fluttershy bent down to speak to it gently, saying,

"Thank you, little squirrel, but remember, these flowers are for Princess Celestia. Only the prettiest would do." she reminded kindly with a smile. The squirrel nodded understanding, but suddenly a small gust of wind blew, and the dandelion's seeds blew away with it. With the flower part gone, the squirrel sheepishly hid the stem behind its back before looking for more flowers.

Fluttershy went towards the top of the hill where there was also a basket of apples and a few rocks. She was about to pick another flower before a series of knocks came from nowhere. Being the easily frightened pony she was, she immediately hid behind the basket of apples, pouring the flowers to the ground everywhere in the process. She peeked out to see what made the noise.

Behind one of the rocks, a Parasprite came into view, with its adorable eyes, round blue body, long wings, and slender legs.
Seeing that it wasn't a threat, Fluttershy was fascinated by the insect she had never seen before.

"I never saw a little guy like you before." she said. While she was observing the insect, it came to an apple on the ground, showing interest in it.

"Are you hungry?" she asked. She mushed the fruit into a goop and gestured it to eat. What she didn't expect though, was for it to suddenly fly to the apple basket, and eat all of the apples in there. A bit shocked, but still loving the cuteness of the parasprite, she let it settle in her mane as she packed up her stuff.

But as she started to put the flowers back while her animals helped her, Lighting Heaven rushed in, panting and gasping for air. She collapsed as she started to catch her breath. She then started to elegantly trot up while stumbling to Fluttershy , who was confused.

"Hello- Fluttershy-" they said. "I don't know if perhaps you have a pet insect right now?" they said in each breath. Fluttershy was even more confused. And she was pretty sure this little filly was familar, she just couldn't put her hoof on it.

"I saw when I was coming up here, that you had a little friend with a big appetite. I got a book of cookies which I'm sure your pet would like." they advertised. They then levitated a box of them near Fluttershy, hopefully catching her attention.

"Oh, uh, sure! Let me just get my bits." Fluttershy said, as she went near the stump which used to have the apples and searched a bit. While she was distracted, Lighting Heaven creeped up behind her, and slowly grabbed the parasprite out of Fluttershy's mane. But then she noticed there was another one all the sudden.

Quietly panicking, she both grabbed them with levitating powers. She then quietly sneaked away, leaving the box of cookies behind. When she was far enough not to get noticed, she then made a run for it.

Fluttershy who was oblivious, she finally got the bits out. But when she searched around, the filly was gone. She was confused, before seeing that the cute little insect was gone. Thinking it must've flown away, she realized that the box of cookies she hadn't paid for was on the stump.

I successfully got the parasprite in my grasp! Running back to Twilight's library with all my might, I rushed towards the town. Taking short breaks every once in a while, I made it back. I hate running, I swear to the gods above, I need to be more prepared.

Getting the filly scout outfit off me, and Twilight and Spike tending to me, I held the now sixteen parasprites in mid-air. I let them go a few times by accident, and they ate more food. Thank goodness nobody barely noticed. Though they're showering me with unconditional love, tickling me, which I don't think is a downside.

I think I'll go back to my room, I had way too many events for a week. Taking the necromancer book out of the sub-storage, I started to binge read it. But as I took one step, I almost tripped as parasprites were flying all over me.

The parasprites were getting out of control. It's almost like they're more attracted to me than food, I mean, of course I'm irresistible, but still is a bit weird. They were making me almost float from the floor to my room, which was a fun experience.

Of course, I managed to stay on the floor, and open the door to my room. Observing the room for a spilt second, I almost had a heart attack. The book I had been reading fell towards the floor, and the parasprites started to quiet down.

What caused the change, you might be asking?

Rae was right there, reading the cursed necromancer book. There was a extra seat next to her, which definitely wasn't there before. She then turned towards me, beckoning for me to sit down on the extra chair.

Time seemed to slow down.

I could feel my eyes twitch out of exhaustion.

This is going to be a doozy.

If I had to be honest, I think I got PTSD from Rae. From going to mysterious pony, to my 'originator', which I think is a total lie, she's made an impression of an uncanny person I should avoid at all costs. I don't even know her at all, you can't blame me. Though with how she's acting right now, I think I must reconsider her position in my heart.

She was currently sitting casually reading 'The Tale of the Cursed Necromancer'. The parasprites I had with me were flocking towards her, despite her imposing aura. And most importantly, she looks like me without being goofy. With her also being a bookworm just like me, the indistinguishable resemblance is there, barely.

"So, uh, you must be wondering why I'm here, right?" Rea suddenly asked. I suddenly had shivers as soon she started to speak. Gosh darn it, if I knew you were here, I would've gone somewhere else, like Manehatten or something.

"I'm here to talk to you about a few things, like two or three. I been brief since our last meeting because I was in a rush, so you must be very confused." Rae added. "I'll be also answering any questions, so feel free to ask."

I mustered up my courage, and said, "Then I have a question for you."

"What is it?"

"Who are you exactly?" I said in a hesitant tone.

"Ah, I should've expected that." she said. She put the necromancer book down, then pointed at it.

"You see the pony right there? The one with a blindfold?"

"Yea?"

"That's me." she said with a smile.

"Huh?"

I'm confused. I read the book in my free time, and it mentioned the necromancer being blind due to being cursed. She can clearly see, I bet. Though, I can see the semblance...

"Actually, your wrong, I can't see." she spoke up. Ah, she can read my thoughts. Cliché.

"Then how do you know I'm the one you’re looking for? I could be the two sisters, aka, the princesses for all you know." I spoke. If she was really me, she would have more caution, right?

"Who's the princesses again?" she said, avoiding my question. Acting clueless, huh?

"You're telling me that you don't know them." I said in a deadpan tone. "Princess Celestia and Luna? The sisters, and alicorns?"

"Ah, I think I saw them when R. was attacking me." she said. "They're nice. Though we didn't meet on the best of terms."

Okay, I think she's just either bluffing or she's bragging. Besides, who even is R.?

"Quite rude to doubt me." Rae said while leaning back on the chair. She started to read the necromancer book again while swatting away the parasprites that came close to her. "Besides, I can't say who they are. They might come again."

"Eh...?" I said in a confused manner. Who were they that made Rae pause?

"Just know that they're stronger than me." she said nonchalantly. "And I still haven't got to my point, did I?"

I sank into my chair as I waited for their explanation.

"So, I have been observing you for a while-"

"Stalker." I immediately said. Just thinking about it gives me the creeps.

"Ahem." she gave me a side stare as she continued.

"Hate to break it to you like this, but, uh, I realized that you're, well..." she said hesitantly.

"You're weak." she finally admitted. Getting my hopes up for something good, god damnit.

"No kidding, sherlock." I said, holding back my urge to cuss.

"But there's a solution! A pretty good one too." she said. "I can train you to stand up to the princesses!"

She started to walk around the room, seemingly going nowhere.

"Oh, so now you're all knowing." I said. "You don't even seem that strong. I can't believe everything you say-" I said before one of the parasprites came at me at the speed of light. After it collided against me, it dropped to the floor, dead.

"Ow." I said, slightly unsettled.

"I just flicked that with only about 0.001 of power, believe me now?" she said as she sat on the bed. "But either way, I'm staying here to help."

The first thing that comes into mind is, ‘how do you even flick with your hooves’, but there’s something else that comes to my attention as quick as that.

"Wait, wait, wait, back up a bit." I spoke. "Who said that you're staying?"

"Of course, I'm staying, how else am I suppose to be your sensei?" she said while levitating the book back to her.

"I'm not even sure I have enough room for you, and what about the others, like Twilight and Spike? Wait no, especially Twilight and Spike?"

"You'll see when it happens." she said as she got comfy. Is this how I act too?

"So, uh... what's the last thing you're going to tell me?" I asked what I leaned to get a better view of her. Why am so short...

"Oh, it’s-" she uttered a few words but suddenly paused and thought.

"Actually, it's better if you don't know for now." she said. I rolled my eyes as she continued. "So, what are you going to do now?"

"Hm... actually, I don't know. I guess I will study more but, I don't really have any long-term goals."

"Guess that means we start day one of our training." she said as she closed the book. She levitated me in the air as she hopped from the bed and started to walk to the door.

"Wait, wait, wait! I'm not ready though!" I said as I tried to pull out of her grasp.

"You'll never be ready when someone attacks you directly or indirectly, so this is the perfect time to familiarize yourself with the cruel, sad, world." she responded as she opened the door and walked downstairs.

"But it's a hecking TV show for kids!" I retorted as I noticed that Twilight and Spike ignored us, like we were air.

"Doesn't stop people who are older than the intended audience from loving it, does it? Besides, you already know that this 'timeline' of MLP isn't exactly the same."

Getting defeated by Rae, we headed outside towards the Everfree forest.

Rae let go of me exactly when we were about to enter the market. I fell to the floor with a thump and grunt as I looked over to the place, which was bustling with ponies buying products, and getting scammed too. Poor, unfortunate, fellows. I glared at Rae.

"So, what does the training consist of anyways? Sitting under a waterfall, trying to gather whatever we're gathering?" I asked while getting up, dusting the dirt off of me. Getting levitated without your consent is quite annoying, you feel me?

"Eh, probably the usual, like stamina, muscle, and more. Especially your magic usage, it's inefficient. But don't expect me to be an expert. I learnt by experience." Rae said as she took out an whole sack of bits. I swear, I didn't see her with that before.

"How do you even pull out stuff you didn't had before? Did you rob someone?" I said questioning Rae. "Wait, don't tell me, it's magic? You suddenly teleport things from an alternate dimension to sate your needs?"

"Yes, and no at the same time." she admitted. "I create them out of my energy or essence, though it's quite costly." she said proudly. "But you see, its quite simple. All you got to do is follow an algor-"

"No, no, that's enough." I said quickly, not wanting to get my hopes up, and get a headache for free too. If she's me, I can't explain things for the life of myself. "So, why do you need bits all the sudden, can't you just make whatever the hell you want out of your energy."

"Like I said, it's quite costly. It's better for me and you to go shopping. Besides, we need some friendly bonding time!" she said happily as she pulled me along. She got out of sheet of paper along with a pen, and started to write a checklist.

"What are you writing?" I asked curiously as I tried to look over her.

"A list of the things we need, like weights, a stopwatch, some actual exercise clothes..." she trailed off. "Actually wait, do they even have these things?"

"I don't know, they never said in the show. Although my memory is great, and I adored the show, I never really paid attention to clothes because... you know, naked." I responded.

"Way to put it blunt. I guess till we find what we're looking for, we'll just relax and go wild with these bits." she said, a bit too giddily on the last part. Both my and her head looked at each other, signaling our thoughts.

"Shopping spree?" I asked.

"Shopping spree." she confirmed.

We both ran off to the nearest 5-star restaurant we could find. Food is the most important in these types of instances. I'm glad great minds can think alike.

"The total purchase for the takeout will be 275 bits, cash or credit?" the cashier asked as she handed Rae our food. The smell wafted to my nose as I thought. Even though there wasn't a specific mention to any fast-food restaurants in the show, it seems like the show itself is patching the holes in the story, and adding more places. Not like there many holes anyways.

Rae passed the coins to the cashier as we head out of building. As we argued who should get what, we agreed to head to a bench far from anybody.

"So, now that we got food, what should we do?" I asked as a took a bite out of a hay burger. These are way too dry for my liking. I miss meat. We arrived at the bench, and Rae put down our food.

"Well, I thought we should do some bonding activities. And you know the best way to do that? An game of 'Unofficial'! " she said as she took a seat. She took out the cards as she start dishing them out.

"Can't we just say Uno?" I said.

"I might get sued." she said as she finished setting the cards. I didn't bother to even ask as I took a seat too.

"You go first, so you don't say I'm cheating." she said as she laid back.

"You're shameless, you know that?" I said with chuckle as I placed down my first card. I took a bite out of my burger as I waited for her move.

"Well, it's good to have belief in yourself, isn't it?" she said as she placed down a card with an different color.

"Shoot, I don't have that color." I said as she smirked, and pointed at the stack. I groaned as I drew a card, and another, and another, and another. My annoyed face quickly grew to pained as I saw how many cards I had.

"Don't be shy, take some more." she said mockingly. She placed down another card, this time an +4.

"Okay, now you're cheating." I said as I took the hit, drawing even more cards. As my turn got skipped once again, she put down an regular card.

"Don't say I didn't warn you." she said proudly.

"I'm going to swipe that smile off your face." I said as I retaliated, putting down a +2. She also placed one, and the race began. Luckily, she ran out before me, so she got the grand total of 12 cards.

"So, you wanna take some more or..." I said, now on the high ground. Lady Luck is on my side, Rae.

"You do know there is no thing as Lad-" she said, trying to keep a poker face, but the anger was still peeking through.

"Just take the damn cards." I said.

"You know what, I give up." she said angrily as she threw her cards at me. Just like me, she's a sore loser.

"So, since you're a necromancer, and the book said you had a cult, what was it about?" I asked, trying to start a conversation. Since the game ended, and the food got cold, I feel like talking.

The air became a bit stiff, as she stayed silent.

"The cult wasn't even demonic, it was kind of family friendly even." she said, her voice feeling moody, and even a bit dejected.

"See, when I was younger and less experienced, I was quite unresponsive to emotions. I didn't even had that many emotions either, just having basic ones." she continued, suddenly going on an rambling.

"As I was inexperienced, I didn't really know how to conceal my abilities, leaving room for some confusion. Like an god who wanted to know more about their people and imitate them. And that's only the surface, it was quite chaotic, but in a good way."

I raised a eyebrow, but let her continue.

"Soon, we started to build a place just for us, with everyone who 'believed' in me stayed. It was going well too, a few houses here and there, and a few people getting revived-"

"Wait, revived?" I interrupted suddenly.

"Yes, revived. I thought you knew we can raise the dead, so reviving them with actual souls was on the line too." she said with a deadpan face, with a hint of smug.

"Anyways, fast forward a decade or two, I felt complete. With everybody that wanted me, and my newfound emotions. But guess who didn't really like the idea of me looking around to find my emotions, leaving them alone?"

"Who?" I asked.

"Take a wild guess." they said, a bit irritated.

I pondered for a bit, then said, "R.?"

"Right on point." she said. "In anger, they destroyed the cult I built, the relationships I built, and most importantly, the families, children, everybody."

"So I also had the rights to be angry, and-" they said, before perking up suddenly, and standing up quickly.

"I need to go." she said, briskly.

"Wait, wait, why?!" I asked in a worry. Sadly, she ignored me.

She backed off a bit, and created a portal, with it's eeriness and more. She was about to enter, but stopped and said,

"If you're really going to train, just read the book. And make sure to run too."

Then she entered and close the portal, galloping.

In a daze, I slowly got up, and started to go home, picking up my pace. Whatever it is, I don't need to face it right now.

"If you're really going to train, just read the book. And make sure to run too." Rae said while they glanced at me.

Then Rae entered and closed the portal, galloping. As the portal closed I got in a daze, and started to go home, slowly but surely picking up my pace. Whatever it is, I don't need to face it right now.

It was already evening, and the night was fast approaching. And it was cold and windy, as the breeze flew by me. I involuntarily shuddered as I let out a breath fast.

With the sudden rush of adrenaline Rae gave me, it increased my anxiety. I could swear each time I looked back, there was a silhouette of some pony.

As I took hurried glances of the now abandoned bench, I recalled the events that happened in that single day. The suddenness of Rae appearing, our conversations, the mystery of R...

Wait, that's why she was in a hurry! She was talking about R. indirectly, therefore some sort of alarm was triggered for R. to probably chase her. Hell, maybe that was the reason why she tried to visit me the first time but failed. She truly wasn't kidding when it's dangerous to even think-

I fell over with a thump and a high-pitched groan as my noggin ached. I gazed above me as I saw a mare gazing at me, with a pitch-black coat and mane, blueish-black eyes, and a chess cutie mark. More specifically, a knight , knocking over a pawn. I should really start to pay attention to my surroundings, it was almost like appeared like a ghost.

"Oh, did I push you over?" the pony said while looking over, quite worried. "I didn't mean to, I swear. Here, let me help you up." she said while extending a hoof. Helping me get on my hooves, she flashed me a smile.

I sized her up secretly while standing up. She seems so sincere, that it's unsettling. But isn't every pony in this show like this? Yet something is off-putting about her. As I was questioning myself, she continued.

"My name is Nelsona Chester. Are you okay?" she asked. She seemed so innocent, but my sixth sense is telling, no, screaming at me to get away from her, so I tried to move away from her.

"Yeah. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I got to get going now." I spoke. But she suddenly said,

"Oh, please, we can have a little chat before you go, right?"

For a pony in this show, she sure is relentless. I'm pretty sure there's only a few ponies who can match up on her talkative attitude. Hell, was she even in the show? I don't remember, nor do I care. I need to get back home, so the only way right now is to match up on her attitude.

This time, I firmly refused and insisted that I needed to go home. Walking past Nelsona, they said their pleasantries and adieus, if not a bit reluctantly. I started to walk slowly, glancing every few seconds, watching the figure recedingly get smaller in the distance.

After a few minutes of walking, I looked behind me to see if anyone was following me, then returned home galloping.

Opening the door sluggishly, I tumbled to the nearest couch I could find. With the bell ringing subsiding, I breathed in big gulps of air, and snuggled up to preserve what's left of my warmth. I should remind myself to never run when it's cold, I think I got sick.

"Oh Celestia, where had you been?!" Twilight said when she glanced my way. She dropped whatever she was doing and came to tend to me. Spike watched from afar, puzzled.

"Just breathing some fresh air for a while." I replied. I glanced at the window, taking note that it was raining. "I came inside when the light shower started."

"Well, you should always tell us when you leave. You shouldn't let yourself wander away so carelessly." she said with a huff. I promised her as I got up. I moved closer to the lit fire in the chimney.

Suddenly, the bell at the door rang, and the door opened. Seems like there's someone here. I forgot this place was a public library. But my momentary surprise quickly became alarmed when I heard a familiar voice.

"Hello, sorry for coming in so late." a mare voice said.

I looked over in a rush and saw Nelsona happily talking to Twilight. She glanced this way, and said,

"Oh, I didn't know you lived here!" she said with a smile. Is that her signature thing or what?

Twilight beckoned me to come towards her as if she wanted to introduce me to her. But a few seconds after, everything started to slow down. Closing the necromancer book, I pondered.

I truly did not want to use this often, but the occasion calls for it. This pony is weird, seeing how it's a 'coincidence' that we met more times we should as strangers. I tried to sneak a bit farther, promising to myself I'll remove their memories la-

"You're going to remove my memories?" a voice asked. I paused in place as my heart skipped a beat. Slowly turning around, I saw Nelsona standing there, unfazed by the spell I was casting. She gave me a smirk as she continued.

"You know, you should always be more considerate of what you're doing. Think about other ponies feelings, and if you want that to happen to you." she said with a mocking tone. "Of course, I would do the same thing as you're doing, but still."

Suppressing the turmoil in my heart, I asked weakly, "W-Who are you?"

"Didn't I already tell you before?" she said as she chuckled. "I'm Nelsona, expert on chess and lover of books. Of course, that's one of my disguises. If you want to address me, you can call me R."

"Now, if you would ever so kindly show me where's Rae is, I would appreciate it."

R. was standing there menacingly with no intent of backing off, holding a bored expression with a hint of nostalgia as she looked around and waited for my response. As I hesitated to respond, her eyes started to slowly narrow.

My heart was thumping heavily as I took a deep breath in, and said, "She's not here."

"At least you're not acting dumb." she replied. "Have any idea where she went?"

"No, she didn't mention." I said, then paused. "Why the hell will I tell you anyways?"

"Because if you don't, something very awful might happen." she said nonchalantly as she stepped forward. "It could destroy this whole town."

I slowly distanced myself, but each step I took, she bridged the gap a step faster with every step more threatening.

"It could probably end the little peace you have right here."

We’re being quite close to each other by now, with her towering over me. A few more steps and she could probably hear my heartbeat.

"It could probably end you."

I closed my eyes as she let out her domineering aura, crushing me physically and mentally. My legs wobbled slightly as I struggled to stand.

"And I'm certain you don't want that."

As she let out those words, she let off her aura and went back to where she was before, still acting aloof like the scene here never happened. I let out the breath I was holding unconsciously as she continued.

"But at least you know what's good for you, seeing how you're not lying. I'll won't stay here for long anyways; I was just looking for Rae."

But as soon I started to feel relief, she said, "But if she comes back here, I'll place a camera of some sorts to make sure."

"She can't run away forever after all, even with her ability to revive like it's nothing."

"Wait, revive?" I asked, almost forgetting the situation I was in. I'm sure I didn't hear wrong, I'm pretty sensitive to sound.

"Yes, she has an ability to revive even if she doesn't leave ashes behind. It's quite broken, am I right?" She responded. "Although, I'm surprised she hasn't told you yet. She couldn't even keep a secret last time I met her."

"Ah yes, getting back to topic, I'll set a camera to watch for Rae here, but if you happen to see her while traveling, I'll also leave a way for you contact me." she continued, ignoring my confused expression.

She then walked up to the table and grabbed the book 'The Tale of the Cursed Necromancer' off of it. She took a breath, and started to chant, seemingly to cast some sort of spell, or curse. It took a minute or two, and with each word she said, the density of magic got more compacted.

As soon she stopped talking, the pressure dispersed, and she threw the book over to me. While I was struggling to catch it, she said, "Mind putting it in a place it'll have a wide area to view?"

I slowly nodded and started to push the stool we had lying around. When I found a place that was satisfactory enough, I placed it in between the other books.

I glanced over to R., who was nodding in approval. She then said, "Alright, if you ever see Rae, just call my name, and I'll come rushing back."

I gave a quick nod, and R. went towards the door and exited the building. I rushed towards the door, and looked outside the window near it, but there was no sign she was there at all. Only just the wet, cold windowpane in my face, and the puddles forming outside.

I waited for a few seconds, and after making sure the coast was clear, I collapsed in exhaustion.

God damn you R. and Rae, I can't have any privacy with any of you near me, with all that mind reading. And what's with Rae being subtle, and R. simply ruthless with dominance? I slowly breathed in and relaxed. This is not the time right now.

I glanced towards the tale Necromancer book. I levitated the book towards me, and thought. If Rae came back here and R. saw her with this book, I can only imagine bad things are going to ensue. And right now, I'm truly too weak to interfere. Hate to admit it, but Rae was right. I need to train.

I still need to resolve everything that R. did though, so training can only wait.

Using the mind arts, I wiped Twilight's memories about this event, and went outside with a shovel and raincoat. After walking far from the library, I dug a hole that my head could fit through and threw the book inside.

With the damp dirt, and the rain, surely the spell will be affected. But to make sure, I'll bury the book, after saying a few things. I'm sure R. is looking at this right now and can see and hear me.

"Hello R., I'm sure you can see me right now."

"R. although I'm clearly not your match right now, I'll won't sell out Rae just because of your intimidation. I owe a bit to her after all. And if me and you become enemies after this, well... I won't be going down without a fight."

"So, I hope this message gets through, and I drew a line of where I'm standing."

"Goodbye."

I threw the dirt over the book and patted the now barren ground to flatten it.

I guess this means I must get serious now.

R. walked through a cracked, lifeless, desert alone, grumbling to herself.

"Little bastard Rae, just out of reach..."

She kicked a nearby rock, sending it into orbit. Her mood was quite downcast and angry. But then she huffed and sat down.

R. then started to meditate on the desolate desert island, with the winds violently blowing her mane. A sandstorm was happening, but she sat unhindered, as if the situation happening around her didn't concern her. But then she was disturbed as she straightened up and looked into the horizon.

"She really believes in Rae, doesn't she? Or is she just delusional?" she muttered to herself. "Well, sooner or later she'll find out the truth and their relationship will strain, if not break. And by then, Rae will return to where she belongs."

But then her face wrinkled slightly, and she said, "I can't believe myself, relying on a foal..."

She then turned back to meditating, sitting still as a statue.

Weeks after the R. incident, my life has been nothing but sleep, eat, jog for the entire day, rinse, and repeat. On the first day, I cursed whoever sent me here to give me a terrible constitution. But my stamina is improving steadily, and sooner or later I can move on from this hellish experience.

I already asked Twilight to make me a whole schedule set ready for me. I have been training since, and will be training for the next month, with every four weeks switching to a new topic. So far, my weaknesses are stamina, both physical and magical wise, and my strength. And I counted the times an episode might have happened too, so I won't get caught off guard so easily. It only means less time for training if I don't get myself together after all.

So, you might be asking, 'what are you doing now?' And for that, I answer...

"Tsk, you really need to work on your handwriting Rae."

I'm currently reading the true necromancer book in my room, trying to deepen my understanding. As far as I'm concerned, I have been using the arts of necromancy and mind in an unruly manner, and that won't help me against the princesses, nor R. But so far, I have been at a bottleneck, and my progress has slowed down. My efforts haven’t gone to naught though, and I'm sure I'm close to breaking through!

But I think it must wait.

The weather had been getting colder, and with all its glory, winter had come once again to Ponyville. Hot cocoa was the new trend, it snowed, and I'd wondered if a pony version of Mariah Carey existed. But it has been a while, and the icicles on the library's roof are melting. Even so, I heard Twilight mention wrapping up repetitively. My conclusion? The Winter Wrap Up episode is nearly here.

See, I would usually not include myself in these episodes, since most of them are day to day problems and fusses. But this is a major town event, and I don't know about you, but I like spring better.

And with that looming over my head, I put down the book and went outside my room. Climbing down the stairs, I canceled all my plans for this week. Now, time to put my plan into action.

Dealing the first blow while Twilight is distracted reading a book in the living room, I asked her, "Twilight, when's the Winter Wrap Up?"

"Ah, that should only be in a few days." she said perking up to me. "Speaking of which, I been mean to buy you some Winter Wrap Up-"

"Please, don't include me when you shop." I said, cringing. Last time, we stayed here for hours upon hours. I could swear I lost a few of my braincells, and that's coming from someone who wouldn't turn down any time to go on a shopping spree.

"Mind telling me exactly when is it?" I asked more precisely. I can't have any hiccups after all. I walked up to the calendar with a pen levitating right beside me, waiting for Twilight's response.

"Ah, I think it's supposed to be on the first of Spring!" she answered cheerfully. I sighed as I circled 20th. Can you not answer in riddles all the time? I thanked Twilight before heading outside. After all, I'm supposed to train right now, and slacking off won't help at all.

It's been a while. And I mean a long while.

The Winter Wrap Up went successfully without any hiccups, as they all had their tussles and laughs long ago. If I have one complaint, it was the fact that I didn't get a good view of Twilight's interactions with the main six properly. I can't go strutting with Twilight all the way, as I'm quite suspicious in the eyes of her friends and a select few. But alas, that's in the past now, as there has been a lot more of episodes.

Two weeks after the Winter Wrap Up, the next episode appeared, just as scheduled. I didn't need to do anything really, just send Twilight for some occasional strolls. After all, the "Call of the Cutie" episode was supposed to be when Applebloom was supposed to meet her new two best friends. But it seems like my existence struck again, and the episode was altered quite a bit. But it all ended well, so I'm not complaining.

The next one would be the "Fall Weather Friends" episode, where Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash bond together as rivals and friends as one. Again, my assistance wasn't needed, in fact, I think it was for the greater good that I didn't show my face during those times. After all, Rainbow Dash is on my tail, and I don't want to get roasted alive.

Of course, it's needless to say that I had been exercising, practicing, and more during between those episodes run times. My mastery increased over the necromancer's book, and my stamina is slowly but surely increasing too. And I have been planning out a new artifact for me, but it needs a bit more tweaks before I show it to Twilight.

And I haven't been lazy either. I placed marks on all the main six with the tracking artifact, watching their every move. And there's another episode happening; therefore, I'm currently preparing and hustling. I'm pretty sure I can steamroll this season without a ton of variables ruining my plans.

But you know what I worry about the most? The Canterlot Gala.

Walking with Twilight to the Carousel boutique, I scrambled to put on my hood right. Not only are there so many things connected to the Gala, but the Gala itself is a hassle. Princess Celestia will be there, the main six will experience slight depression and stress while figuring out the Gala isn't all what it seems to be, and most importantly, Fluttershy terrorizing those poor animals.

And I can't opt out of this, due to Twilight being the caring pony she is, and asking Princess Celestia to bring another ticket for me. And if I don't come, Princess Celestia might ask Twilight why she asked for an extra ticket in the first place, and it'll all spiral downwards. I couldn't stop her because I was out during those times exercising, so it really pains me.

But it doesn't mean I'll suddenly go, 'ah heck this' and start ruining things. I haven't been so low key for nothing. Now you might be asking, 'what are you going to do now? It's not like you can suddenly disappear'.

No, my friend, you're thinking way too inside the box. I'll instead be a side character, so inconspicuous that I'll put a rock to shame. And how you may ask too?

By blending in the crowd! Most of the people will be snobbish uptight nobles, which I will camouflage into. But I need to fit into the role, so the first thing to do? Get the outfit! Therefore, why I came with Twilight.

But this is quite reckless of me too, since there's many variables, like Rarity, Applejack, and many more knowing who I am. After all, Applejack was planning to meet with Twilight and I at the boutique, and there's Rainbow Dash crashing through the roof later. And in the first few weeks when I came here, Rarity literally tied me to a chair, so she's not out of the table at all. Plus, there's Sweetie Bell and her friends, Opal the cat, and lots more.

But then my idiocy cleared from my brain, and I realized, why can't we just change the behavior of those ponies with the necromancer's book? Or simply erase their memories with it too, therefore avoiding the struggle? As the simple solutions popped into my mind, I facepalmed. Talk about thinking inside the box, I'm too stupid to do that.

So, with that, Twilight met up with Applejack and we all went in the boutique. Applejack passed me a few suspicious glances here and there, but not bothering to mention who I am, so things are going well so far. After crossing a few hallways, we finally found the door to where Rarity sewed her dresses and entered.

Silently heading towards the nearest corner to get out of sight, I sat down. I watched Rarity work on the hem of the dress while Twilight and Applejack sneaked up behind her curiously. So far, it seems like the episode hasn't been altered drastically, so I'll just wait until something feels weird, or I'm noticed.

Say, what's the lesson for this episode anyways? All I remember is Rarity being burnt out by the requests the main six had...

Wait, I'm an idiot! Not only will that probably happen, I'll also be adding to the fire with my order too! And if I go ahead, she might suffer even worse backlashes. But if I don't do it, I might get found out, and that won't be pretty either.

So, what should I do? Just not order or simply ignore the consequences? I rubbed my head in frustration.

Great, now when I have a grand master plan it already fails, what's next? A villain from Tartarus popping out from nowhere with a thirst for blood? With my luck streak, it’s possible.

I'm currently in the living room lying on the couch dead tired. The parasprites are hanging around me pestering me without fail and acting quite hyper. Each time I shoot one away, another three come back.

I am not having it today.

While reading, I had to swat away all the parasprites that got in my way. I couldn't go one word without another parasprite in my eyes, blocking the view, trying to knock an object down, or all the above. Hell, Twilight and Spike weren't spared one bit.

While I ate, there were parasprites annoyingly reaching out to me, sometimes getting into my mouth. The dread and fear when I swallowed one by accident still vividly lives in my mind, rent free.

While I failed to make another artifact and it blew up on my face, there were parasprites fluttering around me with their buzzes almost making it sound like they were mocking me. Hell, when I tried to peacefully exist, there were parasprites trying to knock down the bookshelf again, for the fifth time that day.

But all in all, I couldn't just kill them off. By the time I get more powerful, they will be a strategic point. Just because I am powerful doesn't mean I can ruthlessly take over Equestria by force. Not only will that be boring, but it'll also prove harder. After all, there's only one beautiful me.

So, I must look at my only source of salvation available, books. But not any old books, I must look in Zecora's stash!

As you probably already know, other than Pinkie Pie, Zecora has a moderate amount of knowledge about Parasprites. Even though she didn't really help Twilight with the swarm, she does know about their existence and their properties. But I refuse to believe that she learned about them through other sources other than books. And if it does boil down to that, I guess I'll go back to my barbaric ways and just browse her memories.

After all, knowledge is power, and I bet there's more information about reining in parasprites and other useful stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if the book mentions a trinket or two involving parasprites hidden somewhere.

And with that, I rushed down to Zecora, bringing a book bag with me. Who knew Zecora would still be relevant till now?

As I ran through the Everfree Forest, disposing of any timberwolves and other creepy crawlies that got in my way, I made it to Zecora's house. Knocking on the door, I waited. But after no response, I busted the door open with my hooves.

I stared at Zecora brewing another substance with the same glossy, white, and empty look in her eyes. She seemed very focused as she was adding ingredients, herbs, and other substances. She glanced my way, barely acknowledging my existence as she continued. Fine by me.

Walking by her to the shelves, I skimmed through her collection of battered and questionable books. There was one book on how to skin animals properly, which I guess she needed to survive out here. There was also one about the unique types of plants and fungi to eat and avoid. But after searching through the selection, there was not one title having parasprites in their name.

Dejected, I sighed as I took a few steps toward Zecora. I truly wished that she had the book with her, as I don't know where and when did she learned about parasprites. Closing my eyes and taking a deep breath, I entered by sixth sense and swiped through her memories.

This will take a while. After all, I don't know where and when did she learned about parasprites, and it's going to take a hot second before I figure it out. Hell, will I even get a good glimpse at it? The variables are so numerous, it almost makes this an unreliable choice.

But alas, for my comfort, I shall get this over with.

I kicked an old clay vase in my way as I huffed angrily and watched as the faded vase fell and broke into pieces, scattering itself on the ground. Stomping on the broken pieces, I exhaled.

"I spent my precious time on the face of this land, trying to find a clue about parasprites, and you're telling that I'm going to get not a sentence about how to subdue them?!" I yelled out loud, disturbing Zecora as she glared at my way.

Breathing in and out as I calmed myself down, I sat myself on a stool nearby. Is the universe toying with me or what? Zecora knowing in the original series, but not even having a clue on what the term parasprite means? The absolute audacity of this situation is making my blood boil with rage.

Seems like the timeline is either fixing itself back up or is simply messing around with me. Either way, it's not favorable for me. Either I come up with a way to control the parasprites, or I simply die inside and take the bitter pill.

So, with that, I packed my bag and left Zecora's house, not knowing what to do.

As I made around a corner, I faced the ground soberly. My feet dragged on the ground like they had weights on them, and my mood damp. As I took in the weird glances the townsfolk gave me, I gave up inside.

Looks like my annoying, terrible life awaits me with yours truly, the parasprites...

I entered an alleyway unknowingly, straying away from the path little by little. The unkempt, hidden, and barely lit up zone made it the perfect place for rats, raccoons, and other pests to live. As I realized where I am bit by bit, the memory of where I came from flew away.

"Crap, this is what I get for bad posture." I mumbled as I stopped in my tracks, trying to figure out where I was. "Now I'm lost."

"Aw, you shouldn't belittle yourself too much."

Suddenly, I heard footsteps and a voice coming from behind me, and I swiftly turned to face the creature. As I looked at all, I made out their features. They were a male pony, had a brown hide, with a pale orange mane. But most of the mane and his facial features were covered by a hood, making him suspicious. And by his side, he had a sack filled with the unknown. As my heart rate began to increase, he started to speak again.

"Are you lost; I can take you home... with a price."

His tone was crawling with bad intentions as he eyed me.

Ah...

He's a thug. No hecking wonder.

I stared frigidly at the stallion who was standing in front of me. He was blocking the path to escape, so I guess I need to either fight him off, or just cry for help. But knowing the prideful and arrogant me, the second option is off the table. So, fighting it is!

Thinking from another point of view, I really needed this. I have never really fought any pony since I came to Equestria, and I need experience talking with hands, or er... hooves. Wait, speaking of which, how am I supposed to fight with hooves?

"What's taking you so long, little brat?" He spat at me, his words filled with venom. He dropped the pretense as he stepped towards me. "I won't hesitate to take your bag by force, so just give me your money and get this over with."

Heh, I know the plot changed, but not by this much. This is seriously getting out of hand, and soon this will be a dog-eat-dog world. Which is not very wanted.

Maybe I should go away, I'm not too skilled in the fighting department but just dodging, and this might be quite dangerous with my small body.

But life isn't fun without any action, so let's do this!

Calming my nerves down, I walked up to the stallion with a slow-paced trot, seemingly careless about the situation.

"W-What are doing, idi-" But before he could finish, I ran up and bucked him right at the side of his neck. He staggered back in recoil as he screamed bloody hell. Jeez, I knew hitting vital points would be effective, but this is a bit frightening. Guess learning it didn't go to naught.

Suddenly, he stopped yelling and huffed angrily. Momentarily stunned, I turned to face him.

“You’ll pay for that, little brat!”

He then started to charge at me at his fastest speed I saw him before, trying to headbutt me. Swiftly dodging to the right, I gave him a jab to the side. He stumbled to the side, leaving an opening to exploit and slowing his sprint to a jog.

Giving him no time to counter, I kept the punches and kicks coming. One on his knee, an uppercut, soon I wasn't paying attention to where I was hitting, using him as a punching bag.

"P-please stop, m-mercy!"

His guttering and wheezing woke me out of my trance, as I glanced down. His hood was down, showing his green eyes and scared expression. His body was covered with wounds and scars, but weirdly there wasn't any blood. Is there a filter or something?

Getting off him, I sighed. Maybe I went a bit too far, but then again, he was threatening me. Should've seen it coming.

Anyways, I glanced at the pouch discarded to the side while I was fighting. Maybe there's antiques that need returning? Bah, I'm probably going to steal them anyways.

Walking up to it, I flipped it upside down, letting everything drop out. Other than bits, stolen purses, and... hm?

A shiny blue trinket caught my eye, as it gleamed under the light. It feels strange, and it's aura... could it be an artifact? Heh, my luck seems to be on my side for once!

Tucking it away in my bag, I walked away from the thug, not even bothering to help him get up. He groaned as I was almost out of his sight.

"I made so much effort to get that to pawn it off..."

At the library, I sat on the couch exhausted. Toying with the trinket with levitation, I tried to guess it's origins.

"Maybe it came from another civilization, I wouldn't be surprised it if was. Or maybe it's a treasure?" I spoke out in bland boredom. The parasprites were already on me and objects, disturbing and messing up the neat arrangement of the books. I sighed as I slumped in my misery.

"Actually, I think that's the Harlow's Novelty Paragon Insignia, or H.N.P.I. for short." Twilight said as she walked up to me, swatting away a few parasprites. She sat next to me as she took the ornament from my grasp and started to speak again.

"It's actually quite a masterpiece, and it's functions are quite useful." she said. "It's almost like the Want It, Need It spell my foal-sitter Candance taught me. It makes the target or targets focus on an area for an indefinite amount of time, until the effect is turned off."

"Does it have a catch?" I questioned, taking interest in the artifact.

"If you call energy management a catch, then I guess so."

It took a moment for my brain to piece together the information, but then my face brightened. "So, you're saying that this could make the parasprites focus on one area only?"

"Actually, yes it can," Twilight said cheerily, then paused. "Though, it might not be very healthy if you try to pour your energy in the artifact with your rookie skills and tank. I'll just do it for you."

My face slightly darkening, I complained, "Hey, who are you calling a rookie? Mind you, I'm a work in progress!"

Twilight, rolling her eyes, started to look at the parasprites who were knocking down the last standing bookcase. She stood up from the couch and went into the storage room. As I peeked over the couch, she brought out a pet cage and placed it on the floor. Since when did we have that?

Twilight then breathed in deeply and gathered her magic in the artifact. It started to slightly shake as the parasprites started to quiet down and stare at cage with.

Suddenly one of the parasprites slowly flew up the cage and settled in it, fascinated and curious. A few more flew by, then a few seconds later, they were swarming in there, filling it up by the second.

"Ack!" I said while ducking, digging my face into the cushion as one parasprites flew by me at the speed of light. Soon enough, all the parasprites in the living room were in there, happily swarming in the cage.

"I'm going to get the rest of the parasprites in the other rooms, alright?" Twilight said as she levitated the cage towards the bedroom. "Be back later!"

"I guess that's settled." I muttered as Twilight entered the room and shut the door. I glanced at the mess surrounding the library, gave Spike my salutations, and fell on the couch exhausted.

What a long day.

Chapter 23

Order or not order? That was the primary question going on inside my train of thoughts. What can I do to benefit both me and well, the Main 6?

Cuddling up in one of the slim corners, I pondered. My presence hasn't been made clear just yet, and everything seems to be normal, but how will I solve this dilemma? I can get rid of fading memories, but I can't get rid of an aching burnout, now can I?

So far, the only idea I have is to find another talented somepony to sew a dress for me, but it's not too realistic or easy. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not saving future enemies of Equestria's domination or providing a pillow just when they're about to sleep. It's just that I urgently need a gown, and Rarity is one of the only options I know that I can easily go to right now.

But with my order, who knows which very fragile wall I'll be breaking next indirectly? Getting transported to Equestria after — which I'm not just over yet—dying, finding out there's a battle between literal gods going on and I'm very much involved, and more is very stressful, to say the least. I don't want to work my brain any more than I have to, and I have almost no ideas.

I glanced at the trio again. A thought suddenly forms inside my mind.

What if I don't work my brain, but myself instead?

I can help Rarity make the dresses, including mine, and avoid the burnout Rarity is going to have! And then I can just erase Rarity's memories and any bystanders, sweep the gala, then peace will finally return to my tense life. Soon as you know it, I'll be back to training and solving simple conflicts between side characters and the main six again.

But then, how am I going to make introductions and start the plan? Rarity will get suspicious...

"Any ideas for your dress, Lighting?"

My eyes darted to the side as Twilight asked me. The trio were staring at me as I silently stared back.

"Er, I think a simple trendy dress from Canterlot will do. Maybe from those royal noble mares." I answered. "If Rarity's confused, I can give a helping hoof. After all, I wouldn't want to take this favor for granted."

"That would be very appreciated, darling." Rarity commented with a smile. "I'm sure we can be able to know each other very well after this... exchange."

I nodded as I responded. "Just tell Twilight or Spike when you want me to come, and I'll be there in a moment's pause."

"Of course darling, and Applejack, we can work on those... duds of yours..."

Well, that went very well in my favor. You would think something bad-

"Look down below!" A raspy, very fast approaching pony alerted us. Before we all knew it, the roof came crashing down as a blue pegasus arose from the rubble. I rubbed my forehead in annoyance. There it is.

"Heh, sorry. New trick. Didn't quite work." Rainbow Dash apologized and explained. She didn't seem to glance my way, so maybe it's time to leave quietly as possible. There's no way I'm getting tangled with Rainbow Dash. But sadly, fate wanted to see me suffer.

"Idea~!" Rarity exclaimed as soon I took a single footstep. There goes my chance.

She then rapidly trotted towards Rainbow Dash, who was dusting herself off. "I'll make a dress for you, Twilight, and all of our friends! Then we'll storm the Gala, being the most fashionable ponies there! I'll go contact them right now, even."

Hey, wait, wait, I don't approve of this Rar-

But to my dismay, where Rarity walked was where I was, and Rainbow Dash turned to look eye to eye to me. I sighed as Rainbow gazed at me quite menacingly.

"What is... she doing here?" Rainbow Dash questioned Rarity as she rolled her eyes.

"Rainbow, she isn't going to bite you," Rarity said. "And her name is… “

Rarity turned to Twilight, which responded, “Lighting Heaven.”

“Besides, she's with Twilight. I'm sure that she's harmless." Rarity continued.

Rarity then turned to Twilight again, seeking reassurance.

"Yes, she's truly a sweetheart. I mean, she's so diligent in her studies, and such a nice student." Twilight complimented. "I'll be surprised if she did anything violent."

I mean, that one thug would disagree with you, but he's probably rotting away in a corner, so who cares?

"Alright..." Rainbow Dash gave in. "Maybe I'm overreacting. But maybe she can play with Sweetie Belle while the big ponies talk. I don't want her... snooping around where she doesn't need to be."

"Ah yes, our conversation would be pretty boring for such a young and pretty filly." Rarity agreed. "Now come on darling, follow me."

I inwardly shrugged. I mean, the worst thing that can happen is Sweetie Belle being a prick. I wanted to get out anyways, so all of this just went towards my favor. So, I stood up and followed Rarity, exiting the room. We left behind Rainbow Dash and Twilight, who started talking when Rarity and I left the vicinity.

"So, Twilight, how is it actually taking care of her?" Rainbow Dash inquired.

"Rainbow, I told you that she's a great filly." Twilight responded. "If you don't believe me, you should spend some time with Lighting to see she's great too."

"Surely she must be offering you something, right?" Rainbow Dash said, not backing down. "It's quite weird, how you don't show up for most of Pinkie's parties, spa days, or pretty much anything. And her cutie mark and the amulet she's wearing... is she important or am I wrong?"

"Rainbow, you have the wrong idea. You're just being too skeptical. She's just specialized in runes. Now please, if you excuse me, I'll like to wait for Rarity in silence." Twilight finally said, in a shunning voice. She sat in one of the spare guest sofas as Rainbow Dash sighed.

There's just this suffocating and stiff aura surrounding that filly that makes her so suspicious. Rainbow Dash would be a fool if she didn't notice. Sooner or later, she's going to get to the bottom of whatever is happening.

Walking slowly with Rarity, passing through different hallways, we arrived at the reception room. It was filled with glimmering gem toys, comic books, and sofas lined with wood. There were even more expensive items I don't even know what they are. Talk about extravagant for a few kids who will probably break everything here within a few moments, how the hell is Sweetie Bell not spoiled yet?

"This is where you'll be staying until Twilight finishes her order." Rarity explained as we gazed at all the shimmering rocks. "We have all sorts of great and wonderful knickknacks for you to play with! And hopefully you'll make a new friend too!"

Then she motioned to an area where Sweetie Belle was sitting on a beanbag, —which was also decorated with gems— reading a novel while giggling. She glanced at Rarity and me before beaming a friendly and affectionate smile towards us.

I gently waved back before focusing on Rarity again, which was leaving.

"Call for me if there's any problems. Have fun!" Rarity said before closing the door. Huh, it seems like she was in a rush. Wonder what's up.

Suddenly, a ball of white came crashing into me as I groaned from the impact. Recoiling from the impact too, Sweetie Belle rose and dusted herself off as she laughed. Ah, I see now.

"Ha, that was fun!" she laughed. "Sorry for the crash landing, but I guess I went too fast. Now, what do you want to do? We can play tag, hide and seek, Parco Molo and, and-"

I'm pretty sure she was almost having a seizure or sugar rush as she was listing off activities with a speed and energy of a bullet. If she was interested, she could become a great rapper too.

"Er, I'm pretty sure I'm fine taking a nap or..."

"Oh, how about just one game of truth and dare? It always brings my relationships with Rarity even closer." she pleaded with puppy eyes. "Please, I'm bored reading Daring Do for the 17'th time."

I fidgeted slightly as she suggested it with glee. Truth and dare is the last thing I want to be playing after dying once because of it.

"Er..." I contemplated while wondering what to do. I can't say a direct no to puppy eyes... "What happened to Applebloom and Scootaloo?"

"Oh, they're busy right now. Applebloom went fishing with Granny Smith to a nearby pond and Scootaloo is looking for pegasus ponies for tips to how to fly." Sweetie Belle pouted. "Rarity didn't allow me go today since today was the day we're going camping, and she wanted us to get prepared."

"Then... why aren't you preparing?" I asked.

"It's because she probably won't do it in the first place. She tends to either forget or ignore whatever she promises..."

"Maybe you should make her Pinkie Promise, or even remind her every few hours or so." I told her. "And if that doesn't work, you should probably talk it out with her. It doesn't seem too fair."

"I think I like you already!" Sweetie Belle grinned before placing her hoof on my shoulder. "Now let's play!"

"Uh," I hesitated. "I still want to take a quick nap while waiting for Twilight..."

"Oh." Sweetie Belle said disappointedly. "Well, it's okay! It's not every day I'll get what I want."

All the sudden, I felt my respect for Sweetie Belle rise. I nodded while heading to a sofa, getting ready to sleep. Truly, I felt like I been exhausted all this while, and I can't miss out on a free chance to snooze and laze around. Besides, what can I do here other than play? Train? I deserve to sleep for once.

"Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, I'm back!" said Rarity excitedly as she entered the workshop. She closed the door behind her, sat on her rolling chair, and smiled at the trio. Though, their responses weren't what she was expecting.

"Hey Rarity." Twilight muttered as she read a magazine from the basket Rarity had. Applejack was snoring slightly while having her hat over her head, and Rainbow Dash just nodded in response to her call.

Rarity’s smile stiffen slightly before shuffling around awkwardly. This was going to be a long day...

"Lighting Heaven, wake up!" Twilight shook me as I groggily opened my eyes. How long was I out exactly?

"I thought even I was a deep sleeper, but I guess this filly beat me to it." Applejack commented as she approached me. Rarity was already hovering before me too, so all of them were gazing around me. Well, almost all of them.

"Where's Rainbow Dash?" I asked. I didn't see her in this room...

"Oh, she said she had somewhere to be quickly apparently. It's quite a shame, but at least I got her idea of a dress," Rarity said. She then turned to Applejack. " And you're about to go too, isn't that right?"

"That's right. Those apples won't buck themselves." Applejack said, then went to open the door. "I'll see you girls later!"

Then Applejack left, leaving only Twilight, Rarity, and I.

"I guess we should be getting back too, it's getting late." Twilight said. "I'll see you tomorrow, Rarity. I'll bring Lighting Heaven along again."

"Oh yes, see you all soon." Rarity waved goodbye, then went back to her office. Twilight and I went out of the boutique and started walking home.
