Two weeks had passed since Moonlight had been defeated. Chrysalis passed this time to learn more about her new friends. Each of them were back to their normal lives, except for Sunlight, who left the city to explore the world and see what it have to offer. But soon, Moonlight come back from his recovery, ready to take his revenge on Sunlight and the others. Only this, time, he decide to find allies and start recruiting the human counterparts of well known villains from Equestria. Will our heroes be able to face this new danger? Who will win this clash? Only one way to be sure.
A few weeks had passed since Moonlight Frost had been defeated. If Sunset and her friends just returned to their normal everyday life, Sunlight left the city to travel the world at the search of magical artifacts from Equestria that could have landed in this world. Chrysalis, her, found a job at a Resto-Bar as a waitress. The clients were mostly nice to her, most of them being desperate or single men or old people and she was loved by the owner of the place. On the side of Moonlight Frost, after his hard and painful defeat, he had found refuge in a icy, cold, deserted region the people of this world called Antarctica. He stayed deep in the snow and icy water for a week until he totally recovered from his injuries, during which he also thought out a revenge plan on Sunlight and his friends. Sharing the same memories than his alter ego, he remembered having heard of many villains Twilight and her friends had fought over the years. But all of them being either dead, imprisoned or having been banished, except for Discord and Starlight Glimmer, there was no way to recruit them. Until he figured that they might have human counterparts back in the world of Equestria Girls. So, he returned back to the human world and started searching for them. After two long week of research, he had the adresses and locations of the human versions of the villains he wanted to recruit. Of which were Chrysalis, Sombra, Tirek, Stygian, Cozy Glow and Discord.
“Alright, he said. If i am not mistaken, this is where Sombra should live. Let’s see what his summary says...He worked as a business man but lost his job when he was framed by one of his rival of a crime he didn’t commit...And...Oh dear...the poor guy, he is really desperate...And this is exactly what i want. Thank to this forbidden magic book i stole back to Equestria that can give to human the powers of their Equestrians alter egos, i will make him and all of the others mine....”
He knocked at the door. The door opened after a few minutes and a man who had not shaved for months appeared.
“What do you want? Asked the man. I don’t have any money to give you of you want to sell me things...”
“Oh, i am not a salesperson nor a begger, said Moonlight. I fell by luck on your rather depressing announce. I also did some research on your past and what happened to you is sad...I am here to help you take your life back in control.”
“You have a job to propose me? He said. I don’t care what it is, i’ll take it.”
“Not a job, said Moonlight, but an opportunity to take your revenge on everyone that ever looked down upon you or humiliated you, especially the one who ruined your life..what’s his name? Ah yes, Greedy Moneybags
“I am interested, said Sombra. Get inside first... And i’ll heard what you have to say.”
Moonlight entered the crappy house and sat on a chair that was still in one piece. This one began by showing Sombra a glimpse of his magic powers.
“Is this real? He asked. Does magic really exist in this world?”
“Yes, answered Moonlight. And you could also use it if you accept to work for me. You see, back to a place called Equestria, where magic is omnipresent, you were..I mean are a fearsome King, ruling a kingdom with an iron hoof..i mean, fist.”
“And am i powerful in this «Equestria» world?” asked Sombra.
“A power only rivaled by the most powerful beings in this world, answered Moonlight. With this book, i can give you all of his powers and magical abilities, in exchange of your loyalty.”
“This magic, is this good of evil magic?” asked Sombra, being reluctant to become a bad guy.
“I will be honest with you, it is dark magic, said Frost. But do you want your revenge on this world for failing you? Or do you want to live the rest of your life like this? Look what having been a goody two-shoes and an honest guy did to you and your life...”
Sombra’s hesitation faded a few seconds after hearing this. The man was right, he had been a good and honest person all of his life and that ended costing him is job, reputation and social life. And after Hearing from him about of how great his alter ego from Equestria is and what he accomplished, he saw the greatness the dark side had to offer to him.
“You are right, the world treated me like shit, said Sombra. Time for me to give them a payback...”
Moonlight recited an incantation and then told Sombra to put his hand on the page of the book dedicated to him. He felt a powerful magic flowing in him, and started to transform. His eyes became green and red and were shining of a purple mist. His old clothes made place to an elegant, royal, shining armor, with a red cape and a badass magic headband.
“I never felt so good, so powerful, in all my life!! Said Sombra. It is what being a King of darkness feel like?! I love it. And i am not forgetting our deal, i will obey your orders and follow your command. BuOt don’t expect me to call you master.”
“Master sound too cliché anyway, said Moonlight. I don’t like it”
“Hum, mind if i call you chief?” asked Sombra.
“Chief will be fine, said Moonlight. And about the guy who ruined your life, what if we paid him a little...visit...hum?”
“Oh, absolutely, he answered. I will enjoy ruining his life...”
Sombra and Moonlight teleported in front of the Business man’s house and knocked at the door. His wife opened the door.
“Yes? What can i do for you?” she asked.
[Much later]
Moneybags parked his car and whistled. He opened the door.
“I am here, Honey!! He said. Is the dinner ready?”
She didn’t answered, he climbed up the stairs and opened the door of his room. What he saw let him devastated. His wife was sleeping against Sombra, who was smiling devilishly.
“Your wife is really wonderful, he said to his rival. I had been bucking her all the afternoon and she liked it.”
“You son of a bitch, said Moneybags. Fine, but i still have my job...”
“Not anymore, said Moonlight. I revealed to everyone how you framed my friend, your co-workers,your boss and your wife and show them how much of a liar and an asshole you really are...”
The phone rang.
“I would answer if i were you, said Moonlight. That must be your boss”
Moneybags took the call. That was indeed his boss calling in to tell him he had been fired.
His wife woke up.
“Oh, and i have to tell you now, i am leaving you for another men, she said. And thank you for the pleasure, Sombra...I didn’t had so much fun since i got married to this guy...I already called my lawyer and filled the divorce papers.”
“Get out of my house!! You whore!!” he said.
“You mean my house, said his wife. It is legally mine, now. So you are the one who will leave it!!”
Moonlight grabbed the guy and threw him out of the house. Sombra said goodbye to Mrs.Moneybags and left the house.
“You took everything from me, said Sombra to her ex-husband. You ruined my life...So I just returned you the favor...But i am not done yet”
He grabbed the guy by the neck and teleported him above a ravine.
“I am sorry, he said. I am sorry!!”
“I don’t care, said Sombra. It is too late for the apologies. Now, i hope they will threat you well in hell...”
Sombra released him and the poor guy fell to his death. He then returned to Moonlight Frost.
“You don’t know how much satisfying this was” said Sombra.
“Glad you liked it, said Moonlight. Now, let’s move on and let’s recruit new allies.”
The duo arrived in front of what seemed to be a jail. Disguising themselves as Guards, they entered the prison and looked for a prisoner named Tirek. They found him in the last cell of the complex. He was thin, young. Weak and frail. He had a beard, a piercing on his nose, white hair and a dark red skin.
“Are you Tirek?” asked Moonlight.
“You two are not the habitual guards i’ve seen today, he said. You must be newbies.”
“We came here to offer you freedom” said Moonlight.
Moonlight explained him that if he joined his alliance, he would break him out and make him unstoppable with magic. Tirek accepted without hesitation and Moonlight gave him the powers of his Equestrian alter ego. A dozen of guards arrived to arrest them.
“Let me handle them, said Tirek. It’s time for an all-you-can-eat buffet...”
Tirek absorbed the vital force of the guards and grew up in size and muscles.
“That’s more like it, said Tirek. That magic-absorbing magic is awesome.”
“There will be more magic for you to absorb if you join me, said Moonlight. Only, you had to do what i said.”
“As long as i can break stuff and punch people, he said. I will follow you.”
“Perfect, said Moonlight. There is still two more allies for us to recruit.”
The trio teleported in front of an university. They were wearing hoodies to hide themselves for unwanted attention. They saw a young adult coming out of it, grey skin, dark blue-green hairs. They saw him getting beaten up by bullies and humiliated.
“What a wimp, said Tirek. He could at least try to defend himself. Is this the guy you are looking for?”
“Yes, said Moonlight. From what i’ve read about him, he doesn’t have any family.”
Moonlight and his new pals walked in direction of the bullies.
“Leave him alone, said Moonlight. Take on someone your own size, loosers”
“Get lost!” said one of the bullies.
“Tirek?” asked Moonlight.
Tirek smiled at the 4 bullies.
“Right on it” he said.
He beated the crap of the 4 bullies, leaving them into a bloody pulp. Stygian looked at his saviors.
“Thank you!! He said. Thank you for protecting me from these bullies...What can i do to repay you?”
Moonlight smiled.
“About that...” he said.
It didn’t took long for Moonlight to convince Stygian to join his supervillain team. When this one accepted, Moonlight proceeded to do the ritual to give him the powers of his pony alter ego, the power of shadows. After that was done, he was totally covered in shadows.
“No one will ever take me down” he said.
“Now that’s done, said Moonlight. We are ready to pass to the second step of my plan.”
“Wait, didn’t you had a least member to recruit?” asked Sombra.
“Yes, but that person is with the people i want you to destroy...” he answered.
He showed pictures of Sunlight and his friends.
“Hum, this one is looking exactly like you” said Stygian.
“It’s because he is my goody two-shoes counterpart, he answered. If i am all about Ice and Darkness, he is about Fire and Light. He have the same powers as i do. Then, you have his sister, the one he care about above everything else. She have psychic powers as well as telekinetic abilities...”
He told them everything to know about their enemies.
“Their magic of friendship is very dangerous, said Moonlight. If they get you with a Rainbow Laser, you are screwed.”
“If they are so powerful, said Stygian. How are we supposed to defeat them?”
“By doing the same thing as them, said Frost. We will use their own magic against them. And for that, we need to trust each other and work as a team. So that mean, no backstabbing...Until we get rid of him and his friends...”
“So, what’s the plan, boss?” asked Stygian.
“Do not call me boss, said Moonlight. Just call me Mr. Moon. As for the plan...It will require a bit of time to complete and will also require teamwork and good communication...So this is how we are gonna do this... "
Chapter 2: Filler stuff (Because i can't find a good title for this chapter)
It was a few hours in the afternoon, and our female protagonist where working at their respective places. Sunset was delivering seafood by motorcycle, Rainbow Dash was selling shoes at the mall, Fluttershy was cleaning the Animal Shelter with a few volunteers, Twilight was in her laboratory doing researches, Rarity was making dresses and helping costumer choose outfits at her boutique, Applejack was working at the farm and Chrysalis was working as a barmaid at the town restobar. Sunlight, him, was actually off-country for a few weeks, with the intention of finding and keeping Equestrian artifacts that could have landed here. He told Sunset that he would came back to Canterlot soon, having found some interesting stuff. Back to Chrysalis, she was close to finish her day.
”After this, she thought, I’ll need a good shower. The staff and customers are nice, but the place reeks of all that beer and leftover food. Just half an hour and my week is over...”
She saw a shady-looking man entering the place and asking for a strong drink. The man removed his mantle, revealing a nice looking man, who seemed to be in his Thirties. He was elegant, sexy and well dressed.
“What a magnificient flower such as you is doing in such an ugly place? Asked the man. You don’t find such beauty in this kind of place. Hum, did i saw you somewhere before?”
“Probably not, hot stuff, she said. But i return you the question. What a sexy man such as you is doing in this crappy place?”
“This is the only bar in this town, answered Sombra. I came here to see some friends of mine. They should join us soon...”
Two other men entered the bar and Chrysalis looked at them, the first one was tall, skinny and young, probably an university student and the other was big, tall, intimidating and very muscular, probably one of those bodyguards you see in action movies.
“I’ll have a double whiskey, said the muscled man. I had a pretty rough day.”
“Do you have something not alchool based for me?” asked the skinny young man.
“We have mocktails, she answered. Those are fruit cocktails without alchool, we also have coffee, juice, lemonade, milk and bottled water.”
“I’ll take a coffee, said Stygian. A dark, strong coffee, no milk, no sugar”
“I’ll bring you your drinks in a moment!” she said.
She came back a few minutes later with their drinks.
“Voila! She said. Sorry for the waiting”
“That’s fine, said Sombra. We are not hurried. Beside, i couldn’t stay mad at this cute face of yours.”
The compliment made her blush.
“You know, if you do this to have sex with me, you should just have asked. I am an open kind of girl. 3 guys and one girl sound pretty fun to me”
This time, it was Stygian who blushed and had a nosebleed, Tirek almost chocked on his drink and Sombra was looking surprised.
“How much would you ask for that?” asked Stygian.
Tirek slapped him behind the head.
“That sound like a nice idea indeed, said Sombra. But we don’t have lot of money on us right now.”
“I could do it for free, she said. This is not every day you meet such unique male specimens like you. You 3 are totally my type of boy. I am really into nerds, tough guys and business men.”
She touched the chin of Stygian, the left arm of Tirek and the lips of Sombra. The trio looked at each other with worried faces.
“Oh, i have to serve a client right now, she said. I’ll come back to you later!”
She left the 3 men alone.
“Well, this was easier than what i was expecting, said Stygian. Shoudl we accept her sex offer, thought?”
“We have to take the opportunity when it appear, said Tirek. This is a win-win situation. She got what she want and we got what we want.”
“You have a point, said Sombra. She literally offer herself to us on a silver plate. Plus, i really want to smash that ass.”
“Are you sure she could handle the 3 of us? Asked Stygian. We certainly do not want to kill her in a sandwhich
“She can, said Tirek, And after being in jail for over a decade, i am very thirsty”
Chrysalis came back to the 3 men
“I finish in 5 minutes, she said to them. So, have you 3 thought about my proposition?”
“Not really, said Sombra. I do not like sleeping with prostitutes, but for you, i could make an exception.”
She looked at Tirek.
“What about you, big guy?” she asked.
“I wouldn’t mind, he answered. I hope you can handle my big gun”
“I like’em big, she said. What about you?”
“I can’t believe i am going to lose my virginity, said Stygian. My friends are going to be so jealous!”
“But i forgot, i haven’t even told you my name, said Chrysalis. I am Chrysalis. What’s yours?”
“My name is Sombra, said Sombra. The muscular dude on my left is Tirek and the young man on my right is Stygian.”
“Well, are we going at your house or at mine?” she asked.
“What if we did that in a dark alley? Asked Stygian. Or in the woods?”
Sombra slapped him behind the head.
“He is joking, said Sombra. I actually rented a room in a chic motel for the 4 of us for the night. It’s not far away from this place. We will pick you up at 6 o’clock in front of your house.”
“Make sure to bring protection, said Chrysalis. I hate unsafe sex.”
“Sure” said Sombra.
The trio left the bar and hid in a dark alley.
“Now, what do we do?” asked Stygian.
Meanwhile, Sunset was back in her room and was about to enter a bathroom to take a shower when Chrysalis entered the room, grabbing some fancy clothes, a towel, her shampoo and body wash. Sunset stopped her.
“I was here first, she said. You’ll wait your turn. I really need a shower right now.”
“We could solve this problem by taking a shower together, said Chrysalis. I know you want it”
Sunset blushed and felt embarassed.
“To think about it, she said. You can go first, i’ll wait, but don’t take all the hot water, please”
“I didn’t ask for your opinion, said Chrysalis, grabbing her by the waist. I am sure you’ll love it!!”
Meanwhile, at 4000 Km from Canterlot, Sunlight was investigating a really dark and hot cave. He saw a shield carved in one of the wall of the cave. His magic detecting gadget flashed, indicating he had found what he was looking for. He used his earth powers to carve out of the rock the round shield. He put it in his magic bag, given by Discord and who could fit anything inside it.
“That’s the 7 artifact so far, he said to himself. And honestly, the easiest of the bunch. Some people wouldn’t stand that heat, but for me, it’s like a sunny day during summer. I think it’s time for me to get back home, Sunset must be impatient to see me.”
Coming back to Sunset, she and Chrysalis finished to shower and Sunset let herself fall in her bed.
“You were right, she said. It was awesome, Chrysalis”
“Let’s do it again sometimes” she answered.
Sunset noticed that Chrysalis was wearing a bit too much revealing clothes.
“Hum, what’s the occasion, you know, to wear a thing like that?” she asked to her.
“I am having a four way with 3 well hunged guys that i met at the restobar” answered Chrysalis.
“Really? She said. You sure you can handle 3 guys?”
“I will suck the life out of them, she said. Until they beg me to stop”
“Be careful, though, said Sunset. They could be dangerous.”
“If they are, i can handle myself, she answered. I can turn into a freaking dinosaur if i want to.”
“You’re right, she said. But still, call me if something is wrong, Okay?”
“Count on me, Shim-Shim, she answered. Well, pass a good evening!!”
Sunset received a texto from Sunlight telling that he will be back tomorrow. She replied to him with smiling face emojies and hearts.
Chrysalis was waiting in front of the building, Sombra and his friends arrived in an expensive car ( Stolen from the guy that ruined his life a killed.) that he was driving.
“A van would have been okay too, she said. Did you stole this car?”
“Uh” said Sombra,
“I’m just kidding, said Chrysalis, relax! Are you that stressed of having a four way with a girl?”
“Just shut up and get in the car, said Tirek. I can’t wait to destroy those cheeks!”
“Tell me, said Sombra, are you okay with BDSM?”
“Sure, she said. But who’s going to be tied up?”
“You, said Tirek. I hope you love being dominated...”
“We will switch the roles, said Sombra, don’t worry.”
They arrived at the room and Chrysalis started doing a lap dance to excite her clients.
“Tell me, guys, what kind of body do you prefer?”
She changed her appearance, with different body size and shape explaining that she could take the appearance of any existing being.
Sombra looked at her.
“I do love «natural» women” he said.
“Are you sure? She asked. You might have a bad surprise”
“You should not be ashamed of showing your true self” said Sombra.
“Okay, then” she said, revealing how she really looked like.
“You are beautiful, said Sombra. Now, let’s get this started, shall we?”
“Bring it on, said Chrysalis. Show me what you’ve got!”
[The Next Day]
Chrysalis woke up in the hotel room, her throat was sore and her holes were hurting. She found a paper next to her with a message. It was written by Sombra and was saying: «Thank you for this night, darling, but unfortunately, you were just a one night stand, we already left the town, as our duty called us. Affectiously, Sombra»
”I need to do that again one day, she said. But for now, let’s return home, I don’t want Sunset to worry for me...”
She took a shower, dressed up and left the room. She walked outside the motel and called a Taxi. Half an hour later, she was back home. She entered the building and in the room she was sharing with Sunset.
“I’m back!!” she said.
“So, how was your night?” asked Sunset.
“Really nice, she answered. I never had so much pleasure in my life. My holes are hurting a little, but i am used to it. You should try it too, if you have the chance.”
“Uh, no thank, she said. By the way, Sunlight is coming back soon from his travel around the world”
“Really?! Said Chrysalis. When?”
“He told me he would be back before afternoon, said Sunset. While we wait for him to come back, want to play video games with me? I need fresh opponents.”
“Do you have Mega Rumble Bros 2?” asked Chrysalis
“Of course i do!! Answered Sunset Shimmer. Are you good at this game?”
“One of the best, she said. Don’t feel bad if you get your ass beaten up”
“Don’t worry, nobody ever beat me at this game before, said Sunset. This is the only game to which i am better than my brother. So don’t hold back!!”
In the meantime, Sombra, Tirek and Stygian were back to the H.Q.
“So, asked Moonlight. You did what i asked you to do?”
“Yes, answered Sombra. It was more easy than i think it would be. That girl was so horny she couldn’t resist to bang the 3 of us. While she was asleep, we casted on her the spell you gave to us. But why couldn’t we just kidnap her, instead, she was vulnerable.”
“Capturing her would only have catch the attention of her friends, said Moonlight. The spell you casted on her is a two part corruption spell that will turn her into a villain. When the time will come, i will cast the second part of the spell and turn her against their friends. The spell won't last for long, but it will be enought to allow us to escape if things goes wrong”
“Fair point” said Sombra.
“But because we are only at chapter 2, said Moonlight, looking at the 4th Wall. And that this volume have to be at least 8 to 10 chapters, i will have to fill the story with filler stuff. But how...Oh, i know, why don’t we make a chapter or 2 about Sunlight’s adventure around the world? Then 3 other chapters where these 3 fight the Mane 7. Then, for the last 2 chapters, will be dedicated to the final battle...Which i will obviously lose because, you know, plot armor...Can we end this chapter now?”
Sunlight was watching one of his favorite anime. But suddenly, Discord appeared in front of him. Sunlight was surprised and shut the T.V
"Why can't you knock at the door like everyone else?!" he asked.
"I am not like everyone else, answered Discord. And since when YOU knock on doors before entering?"
"Point taken, said Sunlight. Why are you here? Our game of Ogres and Oubliettes is next month..."
"I know, said Discord. But what if i told you that i know a way to make you stronger in a relatively easy way?"
"I would be interested, said Sunlight. Does it came with adventures"
"Crazy ones, answered Discord. You have heard about the Elemental Gems?"
"Of course, they were created by Equilibrius, the Elemental God, answered Sunlight. He shaped the land of Equestria and the rest of the world as we know and created 9 magic gems, one for each Elements. Those gems where kept by Elemental spirits, who were created to ensure that each element were under control. But those elemental spirits became corrupted by the power and wrecked havoc. Equilibrius punished them, trapped them in their own gem and sent those somewhere they wouldn't be able to cause any problem. And i know this world is the one we are actually in"
"Well, i found them scattered around this world, said Discord. But i knew this would be too easy for someone like you, so..."
"Did you scattered them in different dimension?" he asked.
"No, i scattered them across the universe, he answered. All 9 gems are on 9 different planets."
"Wait, 9? he asked. But there is only 7 since the Fire and Ice gems were destroyed during the fight against Moonlight."
"I restored them, said Discord. The power of the elements are nothing to Chaos Magic."
"How the fuck am i supposed to travel in Space? asked Sunlight. My teleportation's reach have it's limit, you know."
"How? asked Discord. With a spaceship, of course. I made one for you!"
"Hum, how fast does this spaceship goes?" asked Sunlight.
"This is the best part, said Discord. This ship use a dimensional portal system. It can create portals that will instantly carry you to the chosen destination. I already input the locations of the 9 planets where those gems are hidden."
"Where is the fun then?" asked Sunlight.
"Well, the travelling part is easy, answered Discord. For what is about finding the gem itself, this is what the fun is about. You'll see for yourself."
"Are you sure the ship is safe?" asked Sunlight.
"Please..., said Discord. Of course it is. I don't want you to miss our next O&O session. So, what do you think? do you accept my proposition?"
Sunlight was already wearing a space version of is supersuit.
"I always knew somehow that i would be in Space, said Sunlight. So i made this suit to be able to endure temperatures way below the Absolute Zero and absorb light, heat and block cosmic radiations."
"What about oxygen?" asked Discord.
"The suit can create oxygen by itself. It have a small air reservoir that act like a purifier. When i breathe, my air will by filtered and sent into the air reservoir so it can be used again."
"Do you need to clean the filter?" asked Discord.
"Not by myself, he answered. The waste is directly expulsed out of my suit once the filter reach it's capacity limit, which is 24 hours. In the form of a long and smelly fart. But tell me, are some of those planet have oxygen?"
"Some, said Discord. I would say half of them. Well, i will directly send you into the spaceship as soon as you are ready."
"Before, i have to told my friends about my absence, he said. so they don't worry for me"
Sunlight knocked on Sunset's door. She opened and smiled.
"Hi, Sunlight, she said. Why are you here?"
"Well, he said. I am here to tell you that i am going to be absent for at least a couple of weeks."
"What is the reason?" she asked.
"I am going to Space, he answered. Exploring the galaxies, discovering potential alien life, It is a suggestion of Discord."
"Of course, she said. Can i go with you?"
"I would love, said Sunlight. But i want you to keep an eye on Chrysalis, help her getting used to her new life. I love you, but you know that i am a sucker for action."
"I know, she said. But promise me that you will bring me in your next adventure."
"If it's not to dangerous, maybe" answered Sunlight.
She gave him a cold stare.
"I'm kidding, he said. I will even let you decide of our next adventure."
"Alright, be careful, she said. I am serious, be careful. With Discord in the mix, who know what will happen?"
"And this thought excite me, said Sunlight. And Cinder is supposed to come back to Canterlot next week. Told her that i am absent for the moment and please take care of her."
"I will, she said, holding a remote. Well, before you go, mind helping me?"
"Let me guess, he said. Can't beat a boss?"
"...Yes" she answered, embarrassed.
Sunlight looked at the screen and saw the boss in question.
"Oh, i see...Yeah, this boss is a tricky one" he said.
"He doesn't stop creating clones of himself, and each of them hit like a semi-truck, said Sunset. They are also fast as fuck!"
Sunlight grabbed the remote.
"Look the expert in action" he said.
Sunlight began the boss fight. Sunset watched him with stress and fear. Sunlight was doing pretty well, dodging or parrying incoming attacks. Then, he did something Sunset never thought of.
"You acted too defensively with him, he said. Sure, they hit hard and they are fast, but they are frailer than a twig and also, this boss have a fatal weakness"
Sunlight smashed and slashed the clones, in a couple of hits, the boss made more and more of them, seemingly becoming more tired...Until...he was unable to make more of them, completely exhausted.
"What?! said Sunset. Wait, what?!"
Sunlight then defeated the now vulnerable boss in less than a minute. Sunset was surprised.
"So, all i had to do was slashing and hacking through his clones until he couldn't make any more? asked Sunset. No wonder why his clones hit like a truck. Making them drained his stamina. How could i not realize that sooner?!"
"This was not obvious, said Sunlight. The game want you to play defensively against this boss, when all you have to do was «hack and slash» through his clones. It took me a few attemps before discovering his weakness."
"Thank you, she said. I will finally be able to beat this game."
"Good luck, said Sunlight. Take care of yourself!!"
Sunset hugged him before he left. He hugged her back, then returned in his room.
"I am ready, Discord" he said.
Sunlight was teleported inside the spaceship.
"Don't worry, said a miniature Discord, floating in front of his face. The ship can pilot itself, I put a button of your suit that will instantly bring you back to your ship from anywhere, anytime. It is virtually indestructible and could survive a black hole no problem."
In a second, Sunlight was floating in Space, he looked at his left and saw the Earth in all her beauty. The ship, without any warning, opened a magic wormhole and passed through it.
"Hey, i was enjoying the wiew!" he said.
"You will have plenty of time to enjoy the view, i can promise you" said the voice of Discord, coming from the ship.
The ship entered in the planet's atmosphere and landed on what seemed to be water. Sunlight used the ship camera to look at the surroundings.
"What is this place?" asked Sunlight.
"This is a planet known as Aquaria, answered the ship computer with the voice of Discord. 100% water, no land. This place is basically one big ocean. The Water gem is somewhere in. Be cautious, this planet is the home of sea creatures that you don't want to mess with. Well, good luck!"
"A planet only made of water, uh? said Sunlight. Guess i better use the pearl the seaponies gave me."
Sunlight left the ship, with his suit on. As soon as he touched the water, the ship immediately locked itself and went to space. Sunlight turned himself into a merman with the pearl and dived in the water.
"I should have asked about the size of this planet, he thought. But from what i've seen from space, this planet must be 3 time as big as Earth. Exploring it will be long. Discord said that a lot of sea creatures were living in this Ocean, maybe some of them are friendly. I do have a sonar in my suit, and i can sense nearby magic energy. But even with those two assets, it could take me months to find the gem. Knowing Discord, he certainly gave the gem to a giant, powerful sea monster."
Sunlight swam for hours and hours, during which he saw tons of beautiful sea creatures, from giant multicolored fishes, to giant clams, weird shaped sharks and whales, to enormous red glowy jellyfish. With the pearl, Sunlight realized he could communicate with those creatures and until now, none of them were bothered by his presence. In fact, by luck, one of the sea creatures, a giant sea turtle, told him that there was a city not far away.
"Are they hostile?" asked Sunlight.
The sea turtle told him that they were only hostiles to agressive and violent creature with destructive and murderous intents. Sunlight thanked him and started swimming in the direction the sea turtle showed him. Fifteen minutes later, he saw lights and what seemed to be a city. He looked closer and found the entrance, surrounded by ferociously armed humanoid fish-like aliens. He even sensed a forcefield around the city and noticed many watchtowers equipped with cannons. Sunlight removed his costume, that he judged would not help him, and swam closer to the entrance, before being spotted by the guards. Sunlight let the fish humanoid aliens circle him. He heard them talk.
"He doesn't seem to be agressive" said one of the creatures.
"He is relatively small" said another one.
"I am not here to treathen your people, said Sunlight. I am a good guy where i come from."
The sea aliens looked at each other.
"Bring him to our queen" said one of them.
"We will soon be fixed weither you're lying or not" said a second one.
They escorted Sunlight for a couple of minutes. While he was walking in the city, he was amazed by the beauty of it. It was a spectacle of colors and lights. He finally arrived in the throne room and saw a tall, very beautiful, white, blue, gold and black alien fish woman. Her face was human-like, covered partially of fish scales. Her body was also human-like, with two arms and two legs and even a breast. She had webbed hands and feet. She was wearing an elegant dress. Sunlight was mesmerized by her eyes.
"Well well, she said. What are you bringing me this time, dears?"
"Queen Atlanta, said one of the guard. This half-fish half... half i don't know what creature tried to enter our city."
"He didn't put out a fight, though, said another guard. He didn't resisted and followed us without any problem."
The queen swam to him, observed his body and looked him directly in the eyes. Sunlight was still dazzled by her eyes. She returned to her throne.
"You can calm down, she said. He is not here to cause us trouble."
The guards lowered their weapons and left the throne room immediately after.
"Welcome to New Coral City, said the Queen. Home of the Marineans. Before you ask me any question, i want to ask you a few ones."
"Go on, your majesty" said Sunlight.
"Who are you, where do you came from and why are you here?" she asked.
"My name is Sunlight Blaze, i am from a world called Equestria, localized on a planet of the name of Earth and i am here to retrieve a magic gem from my world that grant the holder absolute mastery over water."
"Hum, a magic gem, you said? she asked. That grant to his bearer total mastery over water? What else do you know about it?"
"Uh, this gem contain the spirit of a powerful water deity gone rogue, answered Sunlight. A nice sea turtle told me about your city and i thought i could ask you if you could help me find it."
"So, this magic gem is from your world?" asked Atlanta.
"Well, i actually live in two worlds, said Sunlight. This gem is from the world of Equestria, a world filled with magic. It was teleported in this universe by a powerful being with 8 others. And my source told me that the Water gem was in your world. If this is the case, your planet is in danger."
"I think i might be able to help you, she said. Recently, my scouts reported the news that a city close to our Kingdom was completely destroyed. The only survivor of this massacre told us that a giant, terrifying, violent and mindless monster attacked the city and destroyed it in less than a minute. There is no creature on this planet that can do this kind of thing."
"Maybe this creature entered in contact with the gem, said Sunlight. And it's sheer magic power corrupted him, but there is something weird about this."
"What do you mean? asked the Queen. Speak!"
"You said there was only one survivor, answered Sunlight. If the creature was the size you described it, then nothing or no one should have been spared. And if the attack lasted less than a minute, no one would had the time to escape."
"Now that you said that, said the Queen. It is suspicious indeed. You don't think that he is..."
"I am not sure, said Sunlight. When and where did you brought the survivor after this incident"
"This happened yesterday, said the Queen. As for the survivor, he is actually in our supervision."
"I would like to ask him a few questions, asked Sunlight. I have to be sure that my suspicions are true"
Atlanta asked two of her soldiers to escort him to the place where the Marinean that survived the attack was being held captive. Sunlight told the guards to get away from him and seek reinforcement, in case things went wrong. The Marinean looked at him. He immediately sensed an intense magic signature coming from the creature. As for the Marinean, he felt the stone he was keeping on him react to Sunlight's presence.
"What are you? he asked. You are clearly not from this planet. You don't have scale on your face of your body..."
"I am not from this planet, said Sunlight. You are right about that. The Queen told me that your city was attacked by a giant monster and that you were the only one that survived."
"This is true, said the creature. The attack was sudden and over in less than a minute. Everything was destroyed and everyone was killed, well, everyone except me..."
"I find it hard to believe, said Sunlight. An attack that sudden and a destruction that fast, no one on the city should have survived."
"I was not in the city when it was attacked, answered the Marinean. I was on my way back when i saw this monstruosity attacking my city, i was far from it and even if i was close, i would had no chance against the creature. So i watched, completely powerless, the destruction of my city. I don't know why this monster attacked us...no creature on this planet is that powerful or even that big"
"This could explain the fact you survived, said Sunlight. I think that this monster might be a sea creature corrupted by the magic of my world. Like a magic gem that contain the power of the Elemental deity of water. It is a dark blue, shiny ovaloid gem."
The Marinean realized that the person in front of him was not an idiot and knew he had the gem in his possession. He was tempted to tell the truth, but the water deity inside the gem twisted his emotions and thoughts.
"You can't lie to me, said Sunlight. I know you have the gem in your possession. I think you are the one who destroyed the city. Be a good boy and give me the gem before anyone get hurt."
The creature smiled and punched Sunlight very hard in the face, Sending him crashing against a wall.
"This was an accident, said the Marinean. I didn't intended to destroy the city. Yes, i have the gem you described in my possession, and i will not give it back"
He showed it, stuck in his chest.
"An accident? asked Sunlight. I understand now, you couldn't control the power of this gem and caused the destruction of your own city. What do you want to do with it?"
"My people and i were looked down by every other kingdom of this world, He answered. While this city and all the others were flourishing, and their population, living a life of luxury, Our was struggling to survive, we tried our best to grow, we tried to make alliances with other kingdoms, but we had nothing to offer that they didn't already had. I never wanted to destroy my city. But i will destroy every other one on this planet, then built my own."
"I won't let you, said Sunlight. Violence is not the way."
Sunlight recovered from the hit and got on his feet. The Marinean looked at him with a smile.
“You can’t stop me, he said. With the power of this gem, i am invincible!”
“The water deity inside the gem is corrupting you, controlling you, said Sunlight. You can’t obviously fight it, i guess i will have to do it the good ol’ way.”
Sunlight turned back into his full human form and magically created a air vacuum. He then pushed a button on his belt and his superhero suit appeared on his body. The suit then turned into a battle, hi-tech, armored suit, similar to the one he used to beat the shit out of Moonlight but with new upgrades. The Marinean was surprised and a bit terrifyied.
“Pfft, a vulgar metal shiny suit won’t save you, he said. I’ll show you!!”
Sunlight grabbed the enemy and teleported him outside the limits of the city. (He was still able to understand the alien language as long as he was holding the Seaponies pearl.)
“This gem will destroy you if you use too much of it’s magic, said Sunlight. I am sorry for what your city endured, but this is no reason to destroy other ones out of hate, jealousy and envy.”
The sea alien sent a giant alien sharks attack Sunlight.
“Kill him!!” he said.
The big shark attacked Sunlight, but was unable to chew through his armor. He charged multiple times at the hero, but was still unable to hurt him. Bored after a while, he swam away. The Marinean got mad and summoned a giant octopus.
“Let’s see how you deal with this!!” he said.
The giant creature tried to grab him with his tentacles. Sunlight swiftly avoided them and Sucker-Punched the octopus on the forehead. The monster tried to hit him, Sunlight smiled and revealed two laser blades coming out of his gauntlets, using them to cut multiple of the creature’s tentacles. This enraged the octopus monster, who grabbed and swallowed Sunlight whole.
“Try to get out of that!!” he said.
Sunlight appeared behind him. The Octopus was surprised and swam away, terrifyied of what this little metallic creature could do to him.
“I can teleport, you know, he said. Send me as many of these sea creatures as you want, it won’t be enough to stop me”
The Marinean trapped Sunlight in a bubble of water and tried to crush him. Sunlight once again just teleported outside the bubble.
“Time to end this joke” said Sunlight.
He grabbed the fish alien by the neck and brought him on the surface, so high that the Marinean couldn’t use the water of the planet to help himself. He started to suffocate.
“I...Can’t...Breathe!” he said.
Sunlight touched the gem on his chest and using a spell, removed it. He then brought back the alien underwater, in the room their battle started. Sunlight told the guards to bring him in front of the queen. He explained her that the Marinean destroyed his city by accident, under the influence of the stone. He then told her the fight that followed and that he took the gem away from him. He also told her about the reasons that pushed the Marinean to act like that.
“Not all the Kingdoms looked down at yours, said the Queen. When the other leaders heard of the destruction of the city, they didn’t cared. But not my kingdom. I was myself about to visit your city and meet your leader to make an commercial alliance that would have greatly helped you.”
“Really? Asked the Marinean. I...I...i didn’t know. But what importance it have, now? My city was destroyed, and all the habitants, killed. By my fault!! I will never forgive myself...”
The Marinean took a coral blade and impaled himself with it. Sunlight grabbed him and tried to heal him, but it was too late.
“We will be together at last...” he said in his last breath.
Sunlight was visibly pissed. The queen was sad. She organized a funeral for him and all the victims, By respect, Sunlight assisted to it until the very end. Atlanta asked him to stay for a couple of days. Sunlight hesitated, but the charm of the Queen finally convinced him to stay for a few days. He had lot of fun, eating food, making friend with others, talking with the Queen, sparring with the army, learning a few things along the way.
“I hope you will come back, one day, said Atlantea. Hero from another world. Take this as a souvenir, it is from the part of me and my subjects”
She gave him a trident.
“I saw that you have a talent with spears, she said. It would be bad to let it go to waste.”
“Thank you, majesty, he said, kissing her hand. I am sorry for the troubles this stone have cause you”
“Will you be able to contain it’s power?” she asked.
“I will find a way, he answered. Well, goodbye. And next time i’ll come back, i’ll bring my friends. You’ll love them!”
“I can’t wait!!” said Atlantea.
Sunlight smiled and finally left the ocean, his spaceship was waiting for him. He put the trident in his magic satchel and closed the ship’s door.
“Alright, next planet” said Sunlight.
The spaceship disappeared in a portal and reappeared on a desert wasteland. Sunlight opened the top of the ship and realized he was in the middle of a giant desert.
“Welcome to Sarabia, said Discord via the spaceship control board. This planet is one, big, lifeless desert and the place were the Earth gem is located”
Sunlight realized he couldn’t breathe and put his space suit on.
“Well, at least, heat got nothing on me” he said.
The spaceship was already gone. Sunlight sighed and started flying above the ground. He explored the desert planet for 2 days, when he finally located the Earth Gem.
“Finally, he said. I was starting to lose patience...”
He was about to take the gem when a pillar of sand came out of the ground, carrying the stone away from him. The sand pillar turned into a giant sand golem that tried to stomp Sunlight. Visibly, the elemental spirit inside the Earth gem didn’t wanted him to get his hand on the gem. Sunlight avoided the stomp and shot a magic beam at the sand creature, with little effect. The golem tried to punch him, without success. The sand turned into a giant snake that tried to eat Sunlight. This one teleported away from the fangs and countered with another magic beam.
”My magic attacks seem to have no effect on him, he thought. Wait a minute, i have the water gem. I could use it’s power to turn him to mud. Oh, right, there is no water on this planet. Wait!! Sand can be melted at a high enough temperature, and will turn to glass.”
Sunlight blasted the sand creature with fire as she was covering him. The sand began to melt quickly inside the sand snake’s belly, turn it to glass. Sunlight expanded the fire beams to the head and the tail and soon, the sand monster was completely immobilized. Sunlight made a hole where the gem was hidden and took it. He then put him with the other gems and returned to the ship. His next destination was where the wind gem was located. The Planet it was located on was literally made of air, wind and gas, where very, very, very violent storm winds were carrying Sunlight like a hayball. He spent 3 days before he luckily grabbed the gem, as he was being flung around like a bullet, who was also being carried by the winds like him. He returned to the ship, sickened from all the shaking. The next gem on the way was the thunder gem, located on a planet literally filled with electricity, raided by storms. Sunlight landed on the planet’s ground, fortunately, his armor was able to redirect the electricity. He passed 4 days exploring the electric planet, when he located the Thunder Gem. Before he could take it, he was attacked by a monster made of pure electricity. Once again, the thunder elemental spirit didn’t want Sunlight to take the stone. But unphased by the lightning, he grabbed it anyway and put it in his bag.
“4 found, 5 to go” he said.
The next planet the ship landed on was where the Nature gem was located. It was a luxuriant jungle, a green paradise.
“Well, at least one place that will be fun to explore” said Sunlight, once he put foot on the ground.
He walked in the forest for a whole day, seeing on the way tons or charming creatures, such as plant ladies, giant bugs, humanoid trees, which all tried to kill him.
“I take back what i said, he said. This place is a nightmare! Why does everything here is trying to kill me?!”
He stepped on a hidden trap and soporific gaz put him asleep. When he woke up, he was inside a wood cage. He saw humanoid aliens with green vegetal bodies dancing around him. He was about to just teleport outside the cage, but was stopped when he felt the magic signature of an elemental gem.
”Are...Are they performing a ritual? Thought Sunlight. For what?...Hum, i am inside a cage, suspended above a hole. They want to sacrifice me...to whatever is inside that hole.”
The magic signature of the nature gem became stronger, and from the hole. A giant carnivorous plant showed up.
“I feel intense magic emanating from this abomination, said Sunligth. No doubt, the nature gem must be inside that monster”
Sunlight let the plant monster swallow him. He put on his armor and broke the cage. He saw a green light at the bottom of the plant’s stomach and dove into the acid. He grabbed the gem, got out of the monster and on board of his ship.
”That makes five, he said. That only left 4. The fire gem, the ice gem, the light gem and the shadow gem. Let’s get the fire gem first.”
The ship teleported near the planet Magmax and landed above the ground. Sunlight opened the ship’s door and immediately felt a burst of energy.
”Finally a nice place, he said. This planet have an atmosphere, but no oxygen, so i will have to wear my space suit.”
Sunlight walked outside the ship, who immediately disappeared. He didn’t wasted time and immediately started looking for the fire gem. The planet was relatively small, so in less than a day, he located the fire gem. It was inside a volcano, and kept by a magma monster. This was nothing for Sunlight, though, as he simply swam in the lava like if it was a pool of water and when the magma monster showed up, Sunlight removed his lava body and took the gem quickly.
“Bingo! He said. That make 6! Only 3 to go!”
He returned in his ship and went for a planet named Planet Zero, due to it’s surface temperature being at the absolute Zero and lower in some regions. Fortunately, with the Fire Gem, the cold didn’t really bothered him. But the exploration was long, 5 days passed, and Sunlight still didn’t located the gem.
”I have to find this gem and quick, he thought. I don’t want to stay longer on this horrible planet. Remind me of Moonlight, Cruel, dark and cold”
His efforts were finally rewarded when he stumbled against a ice temple. He entered without hesitation and felt a magic energy deeper inside. After a long slide, he landed in a dark room where he saw the magic gem floating. As he came closer, the temperature became lower, but using the fire gem, he was able to counter the cold. He finally grabbed the ice gem and put it in his bag, with the others.
”Only two left” he thought, as he was sent back to his ship.
“Well well, said Discord. You are doing very well. You only have 2 gems left to get. This time, i will let you choose which of the two last planets you want to visit first.”
”I should probably go for the planet where the light gem is located, thought Sunlight. Then, with it, go on the planet where the shadow gem is located. With the magic of the Light gem, getting the shadow gem will be easy task.”
“Are you sure? Asked Discord. Light can dissipate shadows, sure, but shadow can also absorb light...”
“Right, said Sunlight. There is light in darkness and darkness in light. But i feel like i should get the Light gem first, if Moonlight is Cold and Darkness, i am Fire and Light. He is the Moon, i am the Sun. It’s decided, i am going for the Light Gem first”
“Hum, your choice, said Discord. In this case, let’s go!!”
Sunlight’s ship landed on the planet Luminaria. He looked at the outside and was almost instantly blinded by the sheer luminosity of the place. He put on his magic goggles and saw that this world was almost entirely made of crystals, that were spreading an intense light.
“Why is this world so bright?” asked Sunlight.
“I just set up for you a challenge, answered Discord. Good luck!”
Sunlight started wandering around, amazed by the giant crystals around him. He examinated one of them and discovered those crystals were absorbing, then amplifying light rays. He took a couple of sample of those, for his future projects. He wandered 2 days, when something drew is attention: A crystal tower, seemingly reaching to the sky.
“I can feel a very weak magic aura coming from this tower, he thought. Is the Light gem at the top of this tower? Fuck, I hate you, Discord.”
Sunlight started climbing the stairs. He climbed for hours and hours, and was getting very irritated. He finally made it to the top and saw the gem floating and radiating like a million suns. He grabbed it and put it is pocket. He removed his goggles and saw that the luminosity came back to a normal degree. He saw an elevator to the left.
“Wait, is this a joke? He yelled, angry. Why didn’t you told me there was an elevator?! Do you know how many stairs i had to climb?! Do you know?!”
Discord showed up.
“Oh no, i just made it appear a couple of seconds ago, he said. I told you getting those gems were going to be an adventure.”
“I hate you” said Sunlight.
Discord teleported Sunlight back to the ship.
“After all those days without eating something, you must be hungry!” said Discord.
He snapped his finger and made pizza, burritos, tacos and lot of hot sauce appear in front of Sunlight.
“I still hate you for making me climb all the way to the top” said the hero, before shoving two burritos at once in his mouth.
After Sunlight was full, he went for the last planet on his list. As soon as he saw the white surface of the planet, Sunlight had a bad feeling.
“You have in front of you the darkest planet of the Universe, said Discord. Why does it look white on the outside? Think of it as a mirror, who reflect light.”
“So, on the outside, it is white and bright, said Sunlight. But on the inside...”
“It’s completely dark, he said. And the fact that the Shadow Gem is on it’s surface doesn’t help. I hope you are not afraid of the dark, because there is only that waiting for you. Be careful of the monsters that live on this Planet and good luck.”
The ship landed on the ground and Sunlight put his suit on. He left the ship and looked around. Like Discord said, it was completely dark. And the Light gem was unable to help him. Sunlight saw what Discord meant by saying Light and Darkness were dual forces that could cancel each other power. Fortunately, there was other ways than sunlight to light the way. He ignited his hand and created a flame big enough to light the surroundings. He started wandering and felt a constant pressure on his mind and the darkness trying to corrupt his soul. To avoid losing his sanity, he thought about Sunset, his parents, his friends and everyone for who he was fighting. This was enought to keep him on rails, for a while. The longer he walked, the more intense was the presence of the darkness. He knew he was getting closer to the shadow gem. As he had more and more dark thoughts and painful memories of his life.
“I have to stay...focused, he thought. Grrr...”
He suddenly felt grudge toward is biological parents for abandonning him. Then the culpability for not being there for his Sister when she was expelled from Equestria, feeding her ressentment toward Celestia and Twilight. The rage to not being able to save the life of the Marinean he fought many days ago. He felt despair when he realized he could probably never leave the planet. Then the fear of losing everyone he loved and finally, hatred for creating Moonlight Frost. He heard voices in his head telling him to not resist, to accept his fate. The pressure became so intense that Sunlight have to put a knee on the ground.
“Yes, i hate myself for creating Moonlight, he said to himself. I am mad at my real parents for abandonning me and Sunset. I also regret not being here for my sister when she needed me the most. And i am pissed at myself that i failed to save someone that didn’t deserved to die. I might die on this planet and yes, i am afraid of losing my friends and my family at the hand of a villain. But you know what? I am okay with that. I am not perfect, i have weaknesses, like everyone. I accept that nothing is totally bright, or totally dark. I wouldn’t be a hero if i didn’t have weaknesses. But after sadness, there is joy, after anger, there is calm, after self-loathing, there is self-acceptance. After despair, there is hope. We have flaws, weaknesses, but they can be overcome if you believe in yourself. I believe in myself!! I believe in my friends, I believe in my family!!”
Sunlight felt the pressure of the darkness disappear. His mind was finally free from dark thoughts and his heart was at peace. The rest of the travel went without any problem. After a few hours, he felt the magic signature of the Shadow gem. As he tried to come closer, he felt once again the pressure of the darkness on his mind. He ignored it, only having one goal in mind: Getting the shadow gem. He touched it and in a last effort, put it in his bag. The pressure totally disappeared. The planet was still dark as hell, but he had the last gem in his possession. His ship came next to him and Sunlight sat in it.
“You did it!! Said Discord. Congratulation!! So, how did you like your adventure?”
“Outside of the stairs part, he answered. It was the best adventure i had! Why did you wanted me to find those gem?”
“On due time, said Discord. On due time.”
“Why do i have the feeling those gems and me are connected in some ways?” thought Sunlight.
“Let’s keep this story for another time, said Discord. Oh, did i told you Moonlight is back?”
“What? Said Sunlight. What is he planning this time?”
“All i can say is that this time, he is not alone, said Discord. So, are you ready to return on Earth?”
“I am, said Sunlight. Let’s get back home. I can’t wait to continue watching My Hero High School.”
Sunlight’s spaceship disappeared through a portal and arrived on Earth. Discord teleported him back to his room, with the trident. Sunlight removed all the crystals he took from the bag and put them in a box in his closet. As for the elemental gems, Discord decided to keep them in his dimension until he was ready to discover the “truth” on him and her Sister. He gave Sunlight a considerable boost of power and then left. Sunlight took his shower, watched a couple of anime episodes, played a bit of video games. Then, he felt like it was time to see his Sister. He teleported in front of her door and knocked. Chrysalis opened the door.
“Uh, Sunset!! She said. I think someone you might know is at the door!!”
Sunset jumped out of her bed and was happy to see it was Sunlight. She jumped in his arm and hugged him really hard.
“So, i heard you went on a travel in Space, said Chrysalis. Mind telling us what happened?”
“First, we should maybe get comfy, said Sunlight. Beacause this is a long-ass story”
He spent many hours explaining in detail his adventure on each planet, all the things he went through to get the gems, the friends he made on the planet Aquaria, the monsters he fought and the millions if stairs he had to climb to get the light gem.
“...And this is the story, said Sunlight. So, not too jealous?”
“I am just glad i stayed home, said Sunset. Your adventure sound way too crazy!”
“So, where are those gems you literally risked your life for?” asked Chrysalis.
“Discord told me that i was not ready to unlock their power, he answered. That is was not the time yet. Until then, he will keep them with him in is dimension, so i am not worried about Moonlight or any of his friends to get his hands on it. I mean, those gems are crazy powerful, many of them were able to completely transform a planet, some bigger than Earth. Sure, there was some conditions that allowed them to reach their optimal potential, but still...”
Meanwhile, Moonlight was in his personal space, looking at himself in a mirror, as a girl. Sombra knocked and Moonlight immediately turned back into a man. He quickly changed clothes and opened the door.
“Yes, i know, this is the time soon, he said to him. Sunlight came back from wherever he went”
Sombra noticed the mirror and women clothes in Moonlight’s chamber. He decided to stay silent and followed him without asking anything.
“Tirek, prepare yourself, said Moonlight. You are going to give our friends a visit they won’t forget. I hope you remember the plan”
“Break in, wreck everything, said Tirek. Force Sunlight and his friends to show up, put up a fight and then run away before they or i give the final blow.”
“Don’t reveal your full power, said Moonlight. Enough to have them get serious but not enough to make them go all out.”
“Don’t worry, i got it, said Tirek. They won’t see me coming!”
“You will attack tomorrow, said Frost. For now, you have the evening for yourself. Do whatever you want, but nothing that would draw attention on you”
He returned in his room and locked the door.
“Now, time to try all of those dresses i bought yesterday, he said. Turning into a girl. I am feeling pretty”
She didn’t know Sombra was spying on her.
”Good for him, he said. Everyone have their hobbies. And she’s hot!”
Moon Breeze (This is how Moonlight Frost decided to call himself as a girl) suddenly felt watched.
”Sombra, she thought. That nasty boy...”
Sombra saw her disappear from the room. He immediately returned to his room but was stopped by Cold Moon.
“This is not nice to spy on others when they are enjoying themselves, she said. I won’t let this unpunished.”
A few minutes later, Sombra was tied to bed and was getting his ass wipped and his body tortured by Moon Breeze.
“That will maybe teach you not to put your nose in other’s private life” she said.
“She’s such a sadistl!! Thought Sombra. But i would endure anything for that body”
She released Sombra from his chains and left the room.
“Don’t i caught you peeking on me again, she said. Or your punishment will be far worse than being whipped.”
Sombra smiled as she left.
“I love her even more as a girl than as a boy, he thought. I love when they are playing hard to get.”
The girl entered her room and continued trying up outfits.
Sunlight was enjoying a good anime, it was the afternoon and the weather was bad. Sunset, her, was trying hard to beat the final boss of the new game she bought. Fluttershy was watching an animal documentary, Rainbow Dash was also gaming, Applejack was playing board games with Big McIntosh, Granny Smith and Applebloom. Twilight was enjoying some nice Virtual Reality time, Pinkie Pie was baking some nice cupcakes, and Rarity was working on a new dress. On the side of the villains, Moonlight Frost was reading a book about philosophy, Sombra, him, was looking an horror movie, Stygian, him, was studying ( Yes, this is summer, but Stygian had to take summer classes due to his bad academic performance) and Tirek was working up. He suddenly remember that he was supposed to attack Sunlight and his friends today. He went to Moonlight’s room and knocked.
“What do you want, Tirek?” asked Frost.
“Was i not supposed to attack Canterlot, today? He answered. Like you said yesterday?”
“Yes, he answered. What are you waiting for? My permission? Just do what you have to do”
Tirek left the base and appeared in the middle of an old abandoned factory not far from Canterlot’s city limits. He then walked in in direction of Canterlot High, with the intention of causing mayhem. Coming back to the heroes, They were still doing what they were doing. A couple of minutes later, They heard an explosion and screams of terror. Tirek was throwing cars, smashing public installations, firing lasers all over the place in a way to cause the less destruction possible while drawing the more attention he could. Sunlight immediately put his super costume on, as did Sunset, Chrysalis and the rest of her friends. They all headed toward the direction of the noises. They saw cars burning on partially destroyed, roads damaged, broken street lamps and craters all over the place. A citizen who passed near them told them to run away. Sunset read her memories to discover what she saw and let her go.
“It’s a big, red, muscled man that caused all those damages, she said. He went over here!”
They followed Sunset and they arrived in the city stadium, where a red, big, jacked man was waiting for them
“You finally arrived!!” he said to them.
“You are the one who did this! Asked Sunset. Why?!”
“This was just to draw your attention, answered Tirek. Now that is done, i will enjoy destroying you all”
“You are one, we are 9, said Rainbow Dash. We will kick your ass in 10 minutes flat!!”
“Hey, you are the guy i...Uh...Met at the bar a few days back! Said Chrysalis. Uh..Tirek, right?”
“You have good memory, he said. Didn’t i told you i was a bad guy?”
“No, said Chrysalis. But i suspected you to be one.”
“Tirek, you said? Asked Sunlight. So, you are the Tirek of this world?”
“I am, he answered. I believe you know a lot about my Equestrian counterpart, right?”
“You absorb other being’s magic energy to grow stronger and bigger” said Sunlight.
He looked at his friends.
“Be careful with him, said the hero. Not only he can absorb your magic energy if he get you, but he is also insanely strong and tough.”
“Do you have a strategy?” asked Applejack.
“Do whatever you want, but don’t get close to him, answered Sunlight. Each of us will attack him from a different direction. Are you ready? Let’s go!”
Sunlight fired a beam of fire at Tirek that he deflected with a handslap.
“You’ll have to do better than this, he said. Let me show you how it’s done!!”
He fired a powerful magic beam at Sunlight, who avoided it, The beam pierced through a portion of the stadium and continued it’s way. Sunlight was stupefied and looked back at Tirek. Rainbow Dash ran around him so fast she created a tornado around the villain. He smashed the ground underneath him and created a shockwave that destabilized Dash and made her roll on the ground. Applejack took him by behind and hit him with a baseball bat, Who broke on his back. He turned back to her and she punched him in the face. Tirek was sent a few meters back, barely phased by the hit.
“Not bad, he said. I like you, girl”
“Well, i don’t like you, said Applejack. Why all those muscles? Are you overcompensating for something?”
“Nah, just ask Chrysalis about that” he answered.
“He is huge, said Chrysalis. Well, not huge huge, but well hunged.”
Pinkie Pie bombarded Tirek with explosvie cupcakes and Rarity, with diamonds. Twilight lifted him above the ground with her magic and Fluttershy ordered to all the critters around to peck or bite him.
“They are annoying!!” thought Tirek, trying to firing his beam at Twilight to free himself and to get rid of the critters harassing him.
Sunlight threw a powerful beam of magic at the big muscled villain, which projected him against the wall at the limit of the stadium. Moonlight was looking the fight with Sombra and Stygian.
“Their teamwork became a lot better since the last time we fought, he said. And they gained some power...”
“Is Tirek gonna be okay? Asked Sombra. He seem to have a hard time with them”
“He will, answered Moonlight. The goal is just to scout the field. We need to know first what they have learned since the last time we met. I only want him and you 2 to test them so when the time will come to attack in team, we knew what to prepare for.”
“So, we are basically the punching bags...” said Stygian.
“I prefer to use the term «Scouts», said Frost. But yes.”
Tirek shaked his head and decided to get serious.
“That’s it, he said. I am done playing”
Tirek jumped in the air and landed in front of Applejack. She tried to punch him, but he grabbed her first and threw her violently outside the stadium. Rainbow Dash immediately came after her. Pinkie Pie aimed her cannon at Tirek and fired. Tirek grabbed the projectile and threw it back at her. Twilight and Sunset blasted him with magic projectiles, that Tirek redirected violently at them. Fluttershy was looking around for some help.
“Well well, what’s the problem? Asked Tirek, about to grab her. No more critter friends to help you? Too bad!!”
Sunlight pushed her out of the way and blocked Tirek’s beam.
“You touch her, you are going to feel the burn!” he said.
He threw at Tirek a big magic fireball, Tirek put his hands above him and threw the projectile away, like a basket ball. That gave Sunlight the time to make him sink in the ground with Earth magic. Chrysalis turned into a Dragon, grabbed Tirek with her tail and smashed him against the ground repetitively. Tirek got even angrier and grabbed Chrysalis’ dragon tail and made her swirl around him like a bey before lauching her against a couple of stadium’s benches. Rainbow Dash came back with Applejack, and Sunset went to look after Chrysalis. Sunlight teleported in the air and used Wind magic to increase the pressure around Tirek and make his movement more difficult. Twilight made him hit himself, manipulating his own fist with her magic telekinesis. Sunlight didn’t stop there and created two big earth hands to immobilize him some more. He then made lightning rain on the villain’s face.
“Enough!!!! Said Tirek, who broke free from the earth hands, the increased gravity and Twilight’s magic manipulation. You can’t contain me!! Nothing can!! I am fucking invincible!!”
Sunlight landed on the ground. He saw that Tirek was showing signs of fatigue.
“He is a tough cookie, said Pinkie Pie. After everything we threw at him, he is barely affected”
“No, we did affected him, said Sunlight. He is starting to be exhausted”
“That’s enough, Tirek, said the voice of Moonlight via his magic communicator. You’ve done enough! I am opening you a portal to the headquarters”
“I am not done yet!!” he said.
He shutted the communicator. He put his hand in the ground and ripped off a huge piece of land from it. He lauched it at the team. Sunlight destroyed it with a powerful gust of wind. Tirek jumped in the air and landed on the ground violently to cause a small earthquake. Sunlight used his Rocket boots to get in the air, Rainbow Dash was holding A.J above the ground, Chrysalis turned into a giant bird and was holding Sunset. They landed on the ground shortly after and Tirek left the stadium, trying to bring the fight on another place. The team followed him and saw Tirek throwing cars at them. Sunlight teleported away and whistled. Cinder heard the noise and left Sunlight’s room. She flew for a few minutes and saw Tirek holding her master and his friends back, playing dirty. She covered him of a huge blast of flames and magic.
“Well done, Cinder! Said Sunlight. Keep you eyes on him!!”
“You fucking bird, said Tirek, if i grab you, i’ll eat you for my dinner!!”
Applejack threw one of the damaged cars at him and Sunlight made it explode with a flame projectile.
“Eat this instead” said Sunlight.
Tirek saw a big truck coming in their direction. The driver saw Tirek charging a beam at him. Rainbow Dash opened the door and evacuated the driver before the truck explode. She put him somewhere safe.
“Thank you, ma’am!” said the man.
“Only doing my job!” she answered.
Tirek was starting to run out of ideas to gain the upper hand on the heroes. A young girl threw a rock a him. He turned his head and frowned. He grabbed a big chunk of the road and threw it at her. Applejack stopped with with her bare hands before it hit the young girl.
“Wow!! Said the young girl. You are strong!!”
“I ate my vegetables, said Applejack. Rainbow Dash, put her somewhere safe!”
“Got it!” she answered, as she was getting the girl out of danger.
Applejack smashed the chunk of road against Tirek.
“You darn bastard!! She said to him. How dare you attack a defenseless little girl?!”
Sunlight appeared in front of her and punched Tirek in the guts. He was wearing his battle armor. Tirek spitted out a bit of saliva and bile. Tirek tried to punch him back, but Sunlight gave him a knee in the face, propulsing himself up with his rocket boots. He then dive kicked him, projecting Tirek backward.
“You...Bastard...” Said the villain.
He fired a beam of magic at Sunlight, who absorbed the laser and redirected it at Tirek. Sunset tried to read his mind, but was blocked by a psychic barrier she recognized. Her and the rest of the team were surrounding Tirek, and Cinder was watching him from above. A shadow portal appeared under Tirek.
“That was a fun battle, he said. Next time we meet, you won’t be so lucky...Ciao!!”
Tirek disappeared in the vortex, who then disappeared.
“Moonlight, said Sunlight. I recognize his magic signature. Discord was right when he told me he was back, and that he brought friends. He must have recruited the Tirek of this world to add him to his team.”
Sunset looked at all the damages caused to the city. She felt anger toward Tirek for causing so much destruction.
“Don’t worry about that, said Sunlight, snuggling her by shoulders. We can repair most of the damage ourselves.”
“Alright! What are we waiting for?! Said Rainbow Dash. Canterlot won’t repair herself!!”
Sunlight used his earth powers to repair the holes made in the roads, buildings and the Stadium, Applejack helped Twilight move the damaged cars out of the road so the circulation could start again. While they were helping repairing the city, Tirek was lying on a couch, holding an ice pack for his forehead. Moonlight was looking mad at him.
“I admire the determination you showed, said Moonlight. But this is not a reason to disobey me. I told you not to attack civialians and cause unnecessary destruction. This anger of yours, you have to temper it, or i will temper it for you.”
“Can you bring me more ice?” asked Tirek.
Moonlight covered him under a pile of ice and left the room.
“Thank you!” he said.
Moonlight returned to his room and met Sombra on the way.
“I hope you will do better than this muscular cretin” he said.
“Don’t worry about it, boss, said Sombra. My ways are much much better”
“I hope, he said. And no, i am not turning into a girl for you today.”
“What? What make you think i was thinking about that?” said Sombra.
“I know it, that’s all, he said. If you do your part very well, i might, might let you have your wicked ways with me.”
“Uh..As a girl?” he asked.
“Depend if you are gay or not, said Moonlight. And i said maybe...”
Sombra smiled and walked away. Moonlight entered in his room and sat on his bed. He suddenly have thoughts about Sombra and her, as a girl, in a multiple of romantic and erotic scenarios. He quickly tried to focus on other things.
”I refuse to think i feel something for this guy, he thought. Sure, i don’t have any gender preference, but him and me? No, never...”
He have a though about Sombra flexing his muscle.
”You know you want it” he said in his mind.
Moonlight opened his television and watched one of his anime, which was about a student killing people using a magic book, by writing their names.
Two days had passed since the battle with Tirek, of which Sunlight and his friends spent helping with the reparations. The damages done to the city were almost completely repaired. The Mayor even thanked them personally for their help in stopping Tirek's rampage. But little did they knew that in the crowd, Sombra was watching them. Now, Sunlight was in his workshop, working on his suit and other stuff. He analyzed with Twilight a few hours earlier the crystals that he brought back from his interstellar trip on the planet Luminaria. They could be used to amplify magic and Psychic energy quite considerably if used as a amplifier. Or if used for defensive purposes, stock considerable amount of magic in them, magic that could be redirected or used to regain energy. Sunlight had the idea to made a Tiara out of these crystals, for Sunset and incorporating them to his own armor, making it even deadlier. But this project was cut short when he received a phone call from Sombra.
"Do i know you? asked Sunlight. How did you get my phone number?"
"That doesn't have importance, answered Sombra. My name is Sombra, you probably heard that name before. My request is simple. I want to fight you and your friends."
"You are a friend of Tirek, right?" asked Sunlight.
"Yes, and i am as evil as he is, said Sombra. I have with me one of your friends. What's her name? Ah yes, Wallflower Blush."
He saw her being held by the neck by Sombra.
"Release her!!" said Sunlight.
"I will, he said. Bring your friends and meet me at Canterlot's abandoned rock quarry...And she will live"
Sombra ended up the call. Sunlight immediately called Sunset and her friends to explain the situation. In less than 5 minutes, they all arrived at the Rock Quarry. They saw Sombra and a very terrifyied Wallflower Blush crying of fear. When he saw them, he smiled and released his hostage, who ran in the arms of Sunset.
"Did he hurt you? asked Sunlight. Because i am going to demolish his face if he did!"
"He...He...Didn't hurt me, she answered. Not physically. He screwed with my mind and showed me my fears, it was horrible and awful!!"
Sunlight and Sunset stared madly at Sombra. Without any warning, Sunlight sucker-punched him in the face, sending the villain crashing against a boulder. Before he could get up, Sunset then used telekinesis to lift Sombra and flung him around the quarry like a pinball and finally crush him against the ground. Wallflower smiled timidly. Sombra got up and laughed like a maniac.
"Solid right you have there, Sunlight, said Sombra. I almost feel it on my jaw. And your psychic power is really interesting, my dear Sunset Shimmer. Now, my turn to show you what i am capable of."
Sombra teleported behind Sunlight and tried to stab him with a sword made of a black crystal. Sunlight turned back and parried the attack with a magic light blade. Sombra kicked him in the chest and Sunlight was knocked against a big boulder. Sunset went to attack Sombra, but he grabbed her by the neck and threw her away violently. Chrysalis turned into a gorilla and tried to hit Sombra. The villain parried the attack and sent her flying back on a pile of rock. Rainbow Dash and Applejack tried to tag-team him, Sombra grabbed Rainbow's arm and then used her as a human shield. Applejack stopped her punch and the villain threw Dash against her. Pinkie Pie blasted him with sprinkles bombs. Sombra koffed and tried to move the smoke and sprinkle dust away. Fluttershy looked around for animals. Twilight threw a rock at Sombra with her powers, that he pulverised with one punch.
"Pfft, pathetic, he said. I wonder how you gave Tirek so much difficulty. None of your pathetic attacks can affect me."
He was blasted in the back by two magic beams, one coming from Sunlight and the other, from Sunset, and grunted of pain.
"Attacking from behind, i see, said Sombra. What a cheap trick. Too scared to attack me directly."
"Us, coward? You are the one that used Rainbow Dash as a human shield" said Applejack.
"That was sarcasm, said Sombra. I don't care what strategy you use against me, i will still beat you, all of you. You are mere bugs to me."
"So cocky and full of himself, said Applejack. And i thought Rainbow Dash was full of herself"
"Hey, i am not full of myself!!" she answered.
Sombra teleported in front of Sunlight and punched him. Sunlight took the punch and punched Sombra back, in the face. The villain gave another punch to the hero, and Sunlight stroke back with another one to the nose. The accelerated the speed of their punches gradually, each one landing blows in succession. The clash finally stopped when both of them punched each other in the face at the same time and got knocked back.
"Not bad, kid, said Sombra. But not enough!!"
Sombra charged in direction of Sunlight, with a scythe made of black crystals. Sunset tried to reach his mind to immobilize him. Sombra slowed down and held his head.
"Get...Out...of my head!!" he said.
Sombra rejected her from his mind, and looked at her, a bit pissed. Sunlight used that moment of distraction to hit him with a point blank magic projectile in the chest. The explosion launched Sombra in the air and made him crash violently against a giant boulder. Sombra got back on his feet pretty quickly and tried stabbing Sunlight with his scythe. The hero parried the first blows but a shadow kick from Sombra knocked him back violently and making him starting losing balance. The villain immediately used that short moment of vulnerability and tried to stab him a last time. But Twilight knocked the scythe from his hands. Applejack threw Rainbow Dash on Sombra and she kicked him in the face hard. Pinkie Pie fired at him a ball made of hard candy from her party cannon that created a big explosion. Sunlight got up and started charging a magic projectile that he threw at Sombra.
"Did we got him?" asked Fluttershy.
The area around them was suddenly covered of big chunks of black crystals and shadow lightings started coming out of the cloud of smoke. They heard a maniacal laugh and stayed on their guards.
"You are full of surprises, said Sombra. I have to give you that. No matter how bad things get, you always seem to find a way out. I am done playing with you, time to get serious."
Sunlight tried to fire a beam of magic, but for some reason, it misfired and hit Twilight instead.
"Hey, why did you do that? she asked. I am your ally!!"
"I swear, i was aiming at this creep!!" answered Sunlight.
Rainbow Dash tried using her superspeed, but she went too fast and smashed her body against a boulder. One of Pinkie Pie's sprinkle bombs suddenly exploded on her, knocking her out. Twilight tried to grab Sombra with her magic, but grabbed Fluttershy instead. Chrysalis, her, started transforming incontrollably and randomly. Sunset's accidently read the memories of Rarity when she was taking her shower and closed her eyes from the shock. Rarity's powers were somehow not affected and she stabbed Sombra in the back with a sharp crystal.
"You...You fucking bitch!! he said, groaning of pain and anger. You will pay for that!!"
Rarity didn't let herself get scared and threw a couple of diamond discs at Sombra. He blocked them with his own magic crystals.
"That magic of yours is quite interesting, he said. But it is no match against my magic."
Rarity stopped attacking and started defending herself. Sombra smashed her shields with his fist and grabbed her by the neck. Before he could do anything, Sunlight smashed into him with his armor equipped and swiped his face against the ground. Sombra tried to get up, but Sunlight put his foot on his face and held him against the ground.
"Stay down, he said. Don't force me to..."
Sombra turned back, grabbed Sunlight feet and made him fall on the ground. He got back on his feet and so did Sunlight shortly after.
"That's some nice armor you got there, said Sombra. Show me what it can do!"
Sombra lauched at him a ball of dark magic that Sunlight blocked with his arms. The villain touched the ground with his hands and sharp dark crystal spikes came out of it, searching to impale Sunlight. He activated his rocket boots and flight trusters to gain height, and avoided the deadly spikes.
"My turn" said Sunlight.
The right arm of his armor turned into a small cannon that he used to shot magic fire balls at the villain. Sombra shielded himself with a wall of dark crystal. Sunlight increased the power of the cannon to shot a more powerful fireball, that lightly crackled Sombra's crystal barrier. Sunlight's felt a pain in all his body, due to the fact he was draining his own magic pool to get the armor to work. (He was working earlier on a way to get over that problem)
"We have to get rid of those dark crystals, he thought. Or else, we are all going to take a beating."
Sunlight rushed at Sombra from the air, this one smiled and made a barrier to protect himself. Sunlight flipped back and landed foot firsts on his barrier, jumped above, got behind him and blasted him with a powerful beam of magic. Sombra shouted of pain and kicked him in the chest so hard that Sunlight felt the pain of it. Sombra grabbed the helmet and started beating up Sunlight. Sunset saw this but was powerless to help him.
"Sunlight!! she yelled. Damn it, we have to do something about those crystals!! Wait, Rarity, i noticed earlier that your magic was not affected by them"
"Probably because both of their magics are crystal based, said Twilight. Rarity, i think your power might be the key to defeat Sombra."
"How? she asked. When we clashed, his magic overpowered mine!"
"Try something, said Twilight. I don't know, maybe transmute his dark crystals into something else?"
"We have nothing to lose, said Fluttershy, I don't think Sunlight is gonna hold Sombra for much longer. You have to try!"
Rarity walked to one of Sombra's dark crystal and touched it. Her magic geode started to glow intensively. Meanwhile, Sombra beat the shit out of Sunlight until he could no longer sustain the armor with energy. The villain was smiling as Sunlight felt on his knees. Seeing that he was in trouble, Cinder miraculously came out from the sky and pecked Sombra with her claws and beak.
"Leave my master alone, you brute!!!" she said furiously.
Sunset also came to her brother's rescue, and jumped on Sombra's back. He threw her above his shoulder and against Sunlight. Cinder spew a powerful torrent of blue flames on Sombra, who screamed of pain.
"You think you can beat me, foolish bird? asked Sombra. I will break you neck and make a dress out of your feathers."
"I am immortal, she said. You can break my neck, i will just turn to dust and revive shortly after."
Rarity fainted shortly.
"I am sorry, girls, i can't...she said. I can't...I'm sorry."
Sombra smiled and removed all the black crystals. Everyone was surprised by this sudden move from the villain.
"Wait? what are you doing?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
He laughed.
"You showed me enough for today, he answered. I was not expecting you to put such a challenge against me deprived of your magic powers. You earned my respect, and for such, i shall let you live and get stronger for our next battle. Adios!"
A magic portal opened behind him and he disappeared.
"That portal, can it be...?" asked Sunset.
"It's the same portal that Tirek took to get away last time, answered Sunlight. I guess he is also working with Moonlight as well. Someone can carry me? i've fallen and can't get up...He he he...Ugh.."
"Don't worry, Master, said Cinder. I am here to help!"
She landed on his torso and started glowing of a blue light. Sunlight felt his energy coming back little by little until he was completely energized. Sunlight then healed his Sister's injuries and those of his friends.
"I didn't knew you could talk, Cinder" said Sunset.
"Me neither" said Sunlight.
Fluttershy raised her hand.
"It's me, she said. Twilight, remember when your device stole my magic back to the Friendship Games and Spike accidentally got caught in the flow?"
"Yeah, after this, she said. Spike was able to speak like a human. Wait, did you do the same thing for Cinder?"

She blushed.
"Well, i am glad to hear that" she said.
"Let's return home, said Sunset. This day have been rough"
Sombra reappeared in the meeting room. Tirek and Stygian looked at him.
"Congrats, said Stygian. You were amazing!"
"I know, said Sombra. Try to top that performance when your turn will come"
"Show-off" said Tirek.
"Don't be jealous, Tirek" said Sombra.
He then left the room and looked for Moonlight.
"How did you find my performance?" he asked.
"You did fine, he said. Better than Tirek, for sure."
"You realize i could have kill them if i wanted too right? said Sombra. I didn't because you ordered so. Something you were not able to do yourself"
"Those crystals of your gave you the advantage, said Moonlight. You only owe your victory to them and them alone. And be careful not to speak to me like that. I became much more powerful since last time i fought them."
"I don't doubt, he said. Besides, didn't you told me that if i did a good performance in battle, you would let me have my ways with you?"
"I said i MIGHT let you, said Moonlight. And after insulting me one minute ago, this is even more unlikely to happen."
"Meh, i'm not surprised, said Sombra. You could not handle this stallion anyway."
"It's you who couldn't handle me, he said. Anyway, if you think i would sleep with you, you wish"
"Don't lie to yourself, said Sombra. I'll let my room open for you"
He left without looking back. Moonlight came back to his room and sat of his bed. He started thinking about Sombra and without realizing, had turned into a girl and was enjoying himself at the same time.
"What? she said. When did that happen? I started thinking about that big idiot a few minutes and there i am, pleasuring myself, and as a girl. Oh, screw it..."
She left her room and went to the one of Sombra. She opened his door. He was waiting on his bed, reading an erotic novel. She knocked his book off his hands and faced him.
"Took you long enough, he said. I guess you couldn't hold that urge of yours to have sex any longer..."
"Shut up, she said. If you told about this to anyone else, you are dead"
Almost 4 days had passed since our heroes faced Sombra. 4 days during which Sunlight worked unrelentingly on improving his suit and armor, frustrated by his crushing defeat at the hands of Sombra. His efforts paid as he finally discovered a way to counter the effects of Sombra’s crystal magic and Tirek’s draining magic by integrating the magic crystals he found during his quest for the Light Gem to his armor and suit. He also made that tiara for Sunset and other accessories from the same material for the rest of the team. 4 days during which he didn’t slept, ate or interacted with his friends at all. Not even Sunset or Cinder were able to convince him to take a pause. In the meanwhile, The villains didn’t do anything productive, since they were waiting for Stygian to complete his exam sessions. Tirek did lot of workout, Sombra watched sport and many horror movies and Moonlight read books, watched T.V, played video games and sometimes experimented things with Sombra late in the night. Now, the 3 were playing poker in the planning room. Suddenly, Stygian broke in.
“Good news, guys! He said. That exam session i was talking about is finally over.”
“Was about fucking time” said Tirek.
“Hey, don’t be too hard on him, said Sombra. School is important. But you proably don’t understand this since you ended up in prison.”
“I’m all about muscle and action, not brain and thoughts, said Tirek. School was just not my thing.”
“Get some rest, said Moonlight, cause you’re attacking Sunlight and his friends tonight, like we planned last week.”
“I feel not very confident about it” he said.
“What is the problem? Asked Sombra. Like our leader said, the goal is not to win, just last long enough to force them to use their best techniques and jokers.”
“Knowing myself, said Moonlight, i have horror of defeat. I can’t stand against a failure. This is one thing me and Sunlight share. He probably didn’t took well his defeat against you, Sombra Sempa...Uh, I mean Sombra. But you have nothing to worry, Stygian, there is a reason i want you to attack them at night, it is when your shadow powers reach their peaks. And not any kind of attack. You will attack them in their dreams.”
“Hum, that sound neat, said Sombra. They will probably don’t expect that one”
“But how? Asked Stygian. I don’t have the ability to manipulate dreams”
“Not yet, answered Moonlight. I will infuse the power of a being called Tantabus to your shadow magic. This creature can enter dreams and turn them into nightmares. It is a creation of Princess Luna. I was able to find the spell to create one. It will not be as strong as the one Princess Luna created, and will only be able to survive for a few hours, since i still am an unicorn. But your shadow magic will allow him to corrupt this place and have total control over it as long as you are linked. And you risk nothing if they destroy the Tantabus. Your link will automatically cut if that happen. I will call you when it will be the time to attack.”
Stygian returned to his room and relaxed until night came. Moonlight sent him a message and he immediately rejoined the meeting room. Moonlight took a magic book and whispered a magic spell many time. A little ball of shadows came out from Moonlight’s chest and was passed on Stygian. The young student started grunting in pain as the dreamy being fused with his shadow. A few minutes later, the pain stopped.
“Perfect, said Moonlight. It’s your time to act, now. The Tantabus will be the one doing the job, he will be your eyes and your ears in the dreamworld, "
“Got it, he answered. Let me just a few moment to find them in the dream world.”
“Don’t take too long” said Frost.
He left the room. Stygian closed his eyes and sent the Tantabus flying above the city. This one explored a couple of house and by chance, found Sunset and the rest of her friends all at the same spot, which is Pinkie’s house. Making his work easier. Only Sunlight was in a different house but this was barely an inconvenient. They were all sleeping and the dream being entered each of their dreams briefly to tag them, then returned to Stygian’s room. This one opened a portal to the dream world which the Tantabus entered in.
“You know what you have to do, said Stygian, with my power and yours combined, you should be able to corrupt this dimension with darkness and have total control over it. The rest is in your hands, don’t deceive me”
The Tantabus closed the rift. Meanwhile, Sunlight was dreaming about being the protagonist of his favorite anime, when, suddenly, he found himself the next second in the middle of an infinite, dull and dark place.
“What the? He said. Sunset?”
She turned her head and looked at him.
“Sunlight!?! She said. What are you doing in my dream?”
She saw that Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Twilight, Rarity and Chrysalis were also in this place as well. With her psychic abilities, Sunset quickly deduced something was not right.
“Can anyone explain me what we are all doing in the same place, or in the same dream?” asked Rainbow Dash.
“You are in the Abyss of Nightmare, said a terrifying voice coming out of nowhere. A place where every nightmares originate from and the perfect playground for someone mastering dream magic. It will also be your grave. Ha ha ha ha ha!!”
A giant dragon head made of ghostly shadows showed up in the sky and looked at them.
“You are probably wondering who i am, said the ghostly being, transforming into a giant dragon. Since you are all going to die here, it doesn’t matter.”
“Is this you, Moonlight?!” asked Sunlight.
“No, i am Tantabus, Master of Nightmares, harbringer of eternal darkness, fear and despair, answered the being.”
Sunlight looked at the being’s body texture.
“I thought Luna took care of you” he asked.
“I am a different Tantabus, said the being. Created by Moonlight Frost to trap you inside this dimension. For how long? It doesn’t matter. I received orders from him and i have no choice but follow them. This is not personal...”
The Tantabus turned a part of the dimension into a giant graveyard. Zombies, vampires, werewolf, witches and scary looking animals appeared out of thin air and attacked the group. Rainbow Dash made a laser machine gun appear out of thin air and started blasting the monsters. Applejack followed her example and summoned two shotguns. Pinkie Pie made a giant party canon appear in front of her and covered most of the monsters in a sticky goo. Rarity, instead of helping her friends, was looking herself in a mirror, trying different dresses from many celebrities. Twilight was inside a giant mech suit and was squishing and vaporizing the enemies. As for Fluttershy, she was playing with the animal zombies, which she had easily tamed. Sunlight turned himself into a giant badass firebreathing dragon. Only Sunset was doing nothing, looking confused.The evil shadow being laughed and used his powers to modify reality. Applejack’s shotguns turned into snakes, Rainbow Dash’s Machine gun turned into bubbles, Twilight’s mech suit turned into a giant gummy bear, Pinkie’s canon started shooting real explosives at the group, Rarity’s mirror difformed her look and broke, Sunlight turned back into a human and the animal Zombies turned into sand.
“Don’t get cocky, said the shadow entity. You might be able to shape your thoughts into becoming reality, but so can i....I control this dimension. Everything you do, i can do it better!!”
The ground under them started to liquify. Sunlight used his magic to teleport everyone out.
“Hum, i guess you might be entertaining enough for me, said Stygian. Let’s see where the limits of your imagination end...”
The group were transported into the belly of a giant monster.
“Oh great, said Sunset. How do we get out of there?”
Rarity made a giant tube of antiacids appear from thin air and let it fall into the stomach acid.
“Good thinking Rarity, said Twilight. Alright, get on board, everyone, the trip’s gonna be rough!!”
She made a submarine appear and everyone entered inside. The gastric acid covered the engine and then projected it at high speed to the exit. The Submarine landed without too much damage on the ground and the monster ran away to throw up. Pinkie Pie turned the disgusting goo into strawberry flavored frosting and they left the engine. The evil Tantabus snapped his fingers and the group found themselves inside a maximum security prison.
“Let’s see how you get out of this one” said the villain.
Sunlight made a plan of the prison appear from thin air and looked at it.
“Hey, you cheater!!” said the dreamy being.
The plan turned into a 5 years old drawing. Sunlight made another plan appear.
“Stop it!!! He said. Rah!!!! You know what, you might have the map, but you still need to get out of this place!”
Sunlight turned the cell into a 5 stars suite.
“What are you doing?!” asked the Tantabus.
“If me and my friends are going to stay locked here forever, he answered, might as well make ourself cosy.”
Rarity made a butler appear out of thin air to serve her some tea and Pinkie added some cupcakes.
“Does anyone want tea and cupcakes?” asked Rarity.
The evil dreamy entity screamed of rage and made the cell and everything in disappear.
“Pfft, what a Party Pooper” said Pinkie Pie.
The Tantabus used his powers to make dark replicas of Sunlight and his friends.
“Let’s see how you do against yourselves, said the villain. Ha ha ha ha ha!!”
The clones attacked and each of the heroes took on their copy. After a moment fighting them, the heroes realized the enemies were reflecting each of their personalities to an extreme. They finally were able to overcome them, but Stygian just made more of them appear.
“Uh oh, said Applejack. This situation start gettin’ out of control.”
“He is playing with us, said Sunlight. We might be able to counter what he throws at us, but so can he. That will never end!”
“There must be a way, said Twilight. Let me think about it...”
“If only we had someone with a magic powerful enough to make rifts between dimensions, said Pinkie Pie. Someone that can turn this nightmare into a dream...”
Sunset got a spark.
“We do have one, she answered. Remember the Friendship Games, Twilight? When you turned into that horrible demoniac persona of yours?”
“I do! She said. You really want me to turn into Midnight Sparkle?!”
“Not you, me! She said. To stop you, i used the magic of our friends to transform into a being powerful enought to seal the rifts you created between Equestria and this world.”
“Is this that transformation you used to match my power during our fight?” asked Sunlight.
“Yes, she answered. But...”
“Why you just don’t transform right now?” asked Sunlight.
“This won’t be enough to just turn into my Daydream form like you turned into a dragon earlier, she answered. He will just reverse it immediately. I need to transform in this world and the real world. And for that, i need your help, girls.”
Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Twilight and Rarity looked at each other and held their hands. They started glowing and were covered of a magic aura that Sunset absorbed into her body. In the real world, Her like her friends were also glowing as well. Worrying Spike. Sunlight created a forcefield to protect them. Sunset floated in the air and turned into her Daydream form in the real world as well as in the dream world.
“What?! Said the Tantabus. What is this transformation?!”
Sunset erased all the clones of her and her friends and looked at the dark mass of black clouds and shadows. This one tried to turn her back to her normal form, but he was unable to do so.
“What? How? This is my realm, my dimension!! Said the dream being. How can you resist my magic?”
Sunset instantly turned the dimension into a sunny, bright, peaceful paradise. The mass of cloud shrinked, exposing the Tantabus to the group. In the real world, Stygian was trying to help Tantabus to regain control, but it was vain. The Tantabus tried to flee, but Sunset stopped him. She touched the evil creature and using her magic, was able to turn it into something pure and good.
“Thank you, said the Tantabus. Thank you for offering me a second life.”
“Such power should not be wasted, said Sunset. Certainly not for evil...”
“I will make sure to protect this world from being corrupted again, said the Tantabus. For now on, my name will be Morpheus. Guardian of Dreams, Slayer of Nightmares. I am sorry for what i did to you, Now, it’s time for you to wake up...”
Her and her friends were envelopped by light and woke up suddenly. This was already morning. Sunset looked at herself, still in her Daydream form. Before leaving this form, she was able to enter briefly in contact with Stygian.
“Congrats, he said. You did way better than what i expected. I thought you would defeat the Tantabus, but you chose to save it and turn him to the good side. I didn’t know you were hiding such power, Moonlight is right to be worried about you. Well, anyway, we will meet again, way sooner than you think. Goodbye, my dear...”
Stygian rejected Sunset out of his mind. She turned back into her regular form. Sunlight appeared in the room shortly after. Sunset explained what she learned from the Tantabus, and also mentioned Stygian.
“This is the third member of the trio i met at the restobar at least a week ago, said Chrysalis, she said. He told me he was an university student when we talked. There is no doubt, my encounter with him, Sombra and Tirek was not a coincidence, Moonlight must have sent them. But i still ignore the reason why...”
“Moonlight must have send them fight to study our techniques, said Sunlight. Now that i think about it, Sombra could have killed us the other day. But he didn’t not, him, Tirek and Stygian were only sent to test our power before the final confrontation. And if i am right, We will have to fight all the 3 at once, plus Moonlight. And they will probably be more powerful than before.”
“We can do this, said Sunset. We have the most powerful magic on our side, the magic of Friendship. It’s time we start using it...”
“So, what’s the battle plan?” asked Twilight.
Sunset looked at Sunlight. This one made a negative head sign.
“Nah, this time, i’ll let you come with the plan” said the hero.
“Are...Are you sure?” asked Sunset
“Absolutely, he answered. You have more experience than me for what’s about leading a team”
Meanwhile, in the villains lair, Stygian made his report to Moonlight.
“You did a good job, said Moonlight. This transformation of her is much more powerful than what i was expecting. But if what you said about needing the magic of her friends to be able to activate her Daydream form is true, then i need to review my plan in detail, For now, take a break until afternoon.”
Moonlight returned to his room and Stygian went to the kitchen to make his breakfast.
The afternoon was about to end. Each of the heroes were preparing themselve to face Moonlight and his team. Sunlight was finalizing the modifications of his battle suit while Sunset and her friends had and were still simulating a virtual battle against the villains in the Battle Simulation Chamber. As for the villains themselves, Moonlight came out with an attack plan that he shared with his team and a second, that he only shared with Tirek, to use if things were not going well. Moonlight had decided to lauch the attack tonight, to take full advantage of the darkness to increase the power of Sombra and Stygian respectives magic, as well as his own. Plus, tonight’s Moon would be a New Moon, so there will be even less ligth. Coming back to our heroes...
“Okay, we have a plan, said Sunset, who was taking a pause from the intensive training with her friends. We just need to guess when Moonligth and his team will attack us”
“Hum, said Twilight. Tonight’s Moon cycle is supposed to be a New Moon. Meaning there will be no natural light at all.”
“Not only that, said Sunlight, who just entered. Moonlight, Sombra and Stygian’s respective magic all tap into some kind of Dark Arts. The omnipresent darkness would give these 3 a considerable boost in power, especially Stygian.”
“If only we knew where they are hiding, said Rainbow Dash. We could attack them before they attack us, and before the fall of the night.”
“Moonlight thought of everything, said Sunlight. He clearly didn’t want me to find him before he was ready for a second round. I will be able to sense his presence as soon as he get out of his shell...For now, let’s rest. We will need to be in shape for tonight’s battle...”
The group all went to the respective houses and rested for a while. The night finally came.
“This is time, said Moonlight. As soon as i am going to leave this base, Sunlight will be able to feel my presence. Remember the plan, take down Sunset first, then her friends, me, i will deal with Sunlight. Now, get ready...”
Moonlight teleported himself and his team outside the base. They appeared in the middle of a deserted field shortly after. Sunlight and Sunset immediately felt the presence of Moonlight.
“He finally left his fortress” said Sunlight.
He teleported in front of Sunset’s room. He was about to knock, but Sunset opened the door just before.
“I know, she said. I already prevented the rest of the team. Are you ready?”
“We have to, anyway, answered Sunlight. Remember the battle plan?”
“Yes, she said. Me and the rest of my friends will hold Sombra, Tirek and Stygian while you focus on Moonlight. I know our strategy, But what about your?”
“I am going to do things a bit differently, he answered. You’ll see what i’m talking about soon”
He disappeared and returned to his room. He grabbed his newly modified suit and put it on. Then, he turned into his girl alter ego, Sunny Flame. The suit immediately changed itself to fit to Sunlight’s female body. She looked into the mirror to see what the new costume looked like. She was now wearing long white boots going to her knees, a short red and Pink skirt that was going halfway to her knee, A pair of shock absorbing leggings to cover her legs. She was wearing shiny red metallic bracelets to protect her forearms and hide her Dragon Bracelets, plus a pair of gloves equipped with claws. For the top of her outfit. She was wearing a two part red and pink suit similar to a bikini, One covering her breast and the other, covering her bottom parts. The back and the belly region were covered of a black tissue. Which was made of an allow of elastic, shock resistant, insulated and cold resistant synthetic fiber, that he enhanced with magic. To complete the look, a tiara was holding her hairs in place and a more elegant mask was covering her eyes. She also grabbed the improved outfits he made for Sunset and her friends before leaving the room. She reappeared in his Sister’s room and gave her her superhero suit. Then did the same for the rest of the group. A couple of minutes later, they rejoigned each other in their base. Sunset was surprised when she saw what her brother, or Sister, in this exact situation, was wearing.
“Seriously, she said. You are going to fight Moonlight with this outfit...And as a girl?”
“Why not? She answered. I thought it would make a change to fight as a girl, for once. You know how hard it is to be the only male member of the team?”
“You’re not wrong, said Rarity. And i must say, you look absolutely gorgeous, Darling!”
“I magically integrated, with the help of Discord, the magic crystals i collected during my space trip, to the fibers of your costumes. Those crystals should negate the negative effects of Sombra’s own crystals and allow you to use your powers without problem and i reinforced them to resist better to impacts and shocks. Now, put those on and join me outside when you’ll be done.”
She left the apartment and waited outside for a couple of minutes. When the girls finally showed up, She teleported them near where Moonlight was waiting for them.
“So, you finally stopped hiding like a coward in your bunker?” asked Sunny Flame to Moonlight.
“Such a language, he said. And i see you changed of look. You honestly look kinda cute in this outfit. But i can do it better”
Moonlight also turned into a girl, at the surprise of Tirek and Stygian. Her outfit was similar to Sunny, only way more revealing in the upper area, and as well as in the lower area, and all black. Her skirt was shorter and her boots, taller. Stygian had a nosebleed that he tried to contain while Sombra had a stupid smile on his face.
“Eyes toward the enemy, said Moon Breeze. Don’t let my look distract you from doing your job.”
Tirek opened the battle by firing a beam of magic at Sunset. Sunny flew to her evil counterpart to hit her. This one blocked the punch and lauched her in the sky. Sombra and Stygian joined the fight as well. Sombra covered the area with his black crystals while Stygian summoned a wall of pure shadows that would prevent the group from running away. Tirek charged a powerful beam that he fired at the group. Sunset stopped the attack and redirected it at him. Twilight charged at her turn a magic attack at the intention of Sombra, who didn’t even care of blocking, certain that it would fail. Twilight closed her eyes and fired, at her immense joy, the laser reached it’s target, at the total surprise of Sombra.
“Impossible, he said. My crystals are supposed to nullify your magic!! How is this possible?”
“Did you really though the same strategy would work twice on us?” asked Applejack.
Sombra stayed silent for a moment, then smiled at them
“Fortunately, those crystals have other properties than nullifying magic energy, he said. Allow me to do a demonstration, Stygian, are you ready?”
“S...Sure, he said. No Problem...”
Sombra and Stygian combined their magic to built a magic shadow prison in which the girls were trapped, at the exception of Sunset. Tirek smiled at her, cracking his fist.
“Now, it’s just you and me” he said.
“It seem like it, she said. Do your worst...”
Tirek rushed at her, she used her psychic magic to create an invisible wall that Tirek smashed into face first.
“What in the? He said. What is this witchcraft?”
“You just smashed into a wall of pure psychic energy, she said. You won’t be able to best me with brute force only.”
Tirek fired a beam at her, which she avoided at the last moment. Tirek jumped in the air so fast he disappeared. Sunset tried to read his mind to predict where he was going to land and succeeded in doing so, at her complete surprise. Tirek landed behind her and tried to grab her, but she swiflty avoided the attack and projected the villain away with a psychic wave.
“How did you predict where i was going to land?” asked Tirek.
“Oh, i just read your mind” she answered.
“That’s impossible!! Said Sombra. My crystals are supposed to shield us from any form of mind-reading!!”
He noticed the tiara she was wearing on her head. It was made of white, sparkly crystals. It didn’t took long for him to realize that those crystals were nullifying the properties of his own crystals.
”Yes, you guessed right, said Sunset, speaking to him mentally. But this is not these crystals’ only property. They also greatly amplify my psychic powers. Sunlight integrated them to his and our outfits, as well as making this tiara specifically for me. Now, release my friends...”
“You wish, said Sombra. You might be able to read our minds, but you are not strong enough to control us.”
Tirek came back and fired multiple beams at her, she avoided two of them, but not the third one, which made her fall on the ground.
“Oh, sorry, he said. I forgot you don’t have your brother’s reflexes and speed. My bad...He he he he”
He continued blasting her with more beams. Inside the shadow prison, Rainbow Dash and the rest of the girls were desperately fighting an illusions of Sombra and Stygian, in his shadow form.
“Missed, said the illusion of Sombra to them. This is only a question of time before your feeble minds and souls succomb to darkness. It’s no use fighting it. Just give up already.”
“Never!! Said Twilight. As long as we are together, nothing can stand in our way...Let’s show them the power of our friendship!!”
They held each others hands and started glowing intensively.
“What are you doing?! Asked Sombra. Oh no! I won’t let you do that!!”
Stygian tried to strangle them with shadow tentacles and Sombra tried to hypnotize them, but they failed. The girls started glowing even more. On the outside, in the sky, Sunny was fighting her nemesis.
“Alright, you got a lot stronger since the last time we fought, said Sunny. I have to admit it.”
“Last time, you were lucky, and had the help of your friends, said Moon Breeze. Even with your pet, you won’t be able to beat me this time...”
Cold Moon bombarded the area around Sunny of magic ice shards that expended and trapped her in a thick layer of ice. He then made the ice explode violently with a dark magic blast. Sunny teleported behind Frost and grabbed her. Moon Breeze tried to free herself from Sunny’s grip by moaning heavily. This one was surprised and released her grip.
“What the? Asked Sunny, embarrased. Are you seriously taking pleasure into this?!”
“Got you!!” she said, roundhouse kicking Sunny away.
Sunny retrieved her balance quickly and groaned.
“Cheap shot” said the female hero.
“Did you really expected i would fight fair?” asked Moon Breeze.
“Nah, but i didn’t thought you would step that low to free yourself, answered Sunny. Are you horny or something?”
“Yes, i am, answered Moon Breeze. Tell me, Sunny, did you feel horny, those last weeks?”
“Now that you telling me, i didn’t” said Sunny.
“This is because i took all your horniness, plus some of your flaws as well. Flaws such as being obsessive, compulsive, violent, sadistic, overprotective, jealous and self-centered. I am basically what you never wanted to be.”
“Is this why you want to kill me, then?” asked Sunny.
“Who said i wanted to kill you? She answered. I have other projects for you.”
“Let me guess, said Sunny. You want to corrupt me and force me to serve you?”
“Don’t be silly, said Moon Breeze. It would be too much work and take too long to corrupt your soul.”
She covered herself of a shadow barrier and turned it into a spike ball. She then charged at Sunny. She swiftly avoided the first attack and deflected the second. The third attack hit Sunny, but she was able to shield it and minimize the damages. Meanwhile, Sombra and Stygian were trying to keep their Shadow Prison technique under control. Eventually, the light emanating from the Mane 6 turned into a rainbow dome, blew up the walls of the prison and envelopped Sombra and Stygian.
“My magic!! Said Sombra. My powers, they are...Weakening!!”
“No!!! Said Stygian. Curse you!!”
The rainbow magic dome disappeared, revealing the Mane 6 and Chrysalis standing up, united. Sombra got up and tried to use his magic, but nothing happened. Stygian did the same, with the same result.
Tirek threw Sunset far away like a Ragdoll, and looked at Sombra and Stygian.
“We are sorry, said Stygian, we can’t help you anymore, we failed Moonlight...”
“This is fine, you can still have a use” said Tirek.
He opened his mouth and started absorbing the magic energy of his teammates.
“That better have to work for you, said Sombra. Don’t let our sacrifice be in vain”
“Don’t worry about that, said Tirek, who was done absorbing the magic of his two friends. With both of your magic power combined, crushing those girls will be easy.”
The magic he absorbed made him grow 3 times is size, while increasing his muscle mass. The girls charged at him.
“Let’s test that new power” said the bulky villain.
He clapped his hand in front of him and created a magic soundwave so powerful, the girls were sent flying back in the air on dozen of meters. He jumped in the air and landed on the ground, causing an earthquake from which lasers came off, desorienting the heroes and injuring them.
“I will hold him back, she said. You, just find Sunset and do what you did in the dreamworld.”
“She’s right, said Applejack. Daydream Sunset might be our only chance to beat Tirek. Let’s go”
Tirek saw the mane 6 running away, he tried to stop them, but Chrysalis turned into a giant spider and webbed him.
“Do you think you can beat me? Asked Tirek. I will squish you like a bug!!”
He freed himself from the webs and fired a huge beam of magic at Chrysalis, who turned into a swallow and avoided the beam. She took the form of a Dragon and breathed fire at the villain. Tirek riposted with another beam of magic, and quickly overpowered her. Hit, she felt on the ground.
“Pathetic, said Tirek. You fight as you fuck, very badly.”
This pissed her a lot, enought to immediately get back on her feets.
“I will make you eat those word, tiny dick!”
Sombra and Stygian chuckled. He gave them the dark stare and they stopped.
“This is not the size of the tool that count, said Tirek. It’s how you use it that matter”
Sunset finally arrived, in her Daydream form. She landed face to Tirek.
“So, this is the form our boss fear so much, he said. Let’s see if his fears are founded”
Daydream Sunset and Tirek were still gauging each other.
“You got this, Sunset!! Shouted Twilight. You can beat his ugly ass!!!”
Sombra and Stygian had recovered enough energy to be able to stand on their knees.
“Come on, man, said Sombra. You have to win this battle. You said nobody could beat you, it’s time to prove it”
Sunset decided to open the fight by blasting at Tirek a beam of magic, This one jumped in the air and avoided it. Just before he land, though, Sunset blasted him again, this time point blank, in the guts. Tirek felt on the ground, but recovered very fast from the hit.
“I felt this one, said the villain. Just a little bit. My turn, now!!”
He beamed Sunset multiple time, forcing her to dodge until she leave an opening for him to attack. That opening came pretty quickly, and allowed Tirek to grab her from behind. He jumped high in the air, then rocketed toward the ground at high speed. Just before he touched the floor, he released her and landed a powerful kick that sent Sunset flying away. In the sky, Sunny and Moon Breeze were trying desperately to gain the upper hand on each other.
“Alright, this is getting stupid, said Sunny Flame. Playtime’s over!”
“I agree, said Moon Breeze. It’s time i show you a glimpse of my true power!!”
Sunny Flame started increasing her body temperature at high levels while Moon Breeze was cooling her body down. The skin of Sunny crackled and became grey. The cracks were then filled of lava. Her body started to burn like the surface of the Sun and she radiated of an intense light. Light so bright, Sunset, Tirek and their friends were able to see it.
“Is this...Sunny?” asked Twilight.
“You got this, brother” said Sunset.
“I worked hard to achieve this technique, said Sunny, once her transformation was over. You might call it Flare Mode”
Moon Breeze’s body was envelopped of a badass ice armor doubled with a coat of pure shadow energy. Her skin was completely white and radiating a cold vapor.
“Your little transformation got nothing against my Black Ice Armor.” said Moon Breeze.
“We’ll see about that” said Sunny.
Sunset and Tirek started to fight again. They were both landing blows, and missing somes. Their speed was on pair and their magic power too. Moonlight looked at the fight with a smile.
“I guess i might have overestimated the power of her transformation, she thought. Way to go, Tirek, you might not be a stupid pile of muscle after all.”
Sunny used that moment of distraction to land a punch on Moon Breeze’s face. She fought back by grabbing her hairs. Flare mode Sunny yelled of pain and got mad. She spit hot burning lava in her face and punched her in the guts. Sunny’s fist cooled down quickly and Moon’s Black Ice Armor melted a little. Sunny reignited her fist by blowing at it and Moon Breeze repaired her armor.
“It seem that once again, we are tied” said Sunny, who suddenly returned back to normal.
Moon Breeze, seing that Sunny had turned back to normal, decided to remove her Black Ice Armor in sign of respect.
”This is what i thought, said Moon Breeze to herself. Our powers completely nullify each others. Even with the power boost on my side, it’s still not enough...”
Sunny pushed a button on her forearm and activated the super armor. Moon Breeze, not wanting to be left out, also activated her own super suit.
“Let’s see which one is better” said Moon Breeze.
The two charged at each other, fist first. The collision of their punches created a wave of energy that blasted the clouds away. They continued punching each other, without any of their attack landing succesfully, while creating more intense energy waves. Sunny fired a magic beam from her arms that Moon Breeze’s armor took without problem. This one replied with a dark magic beam of her own that had no effect on Sunny’s armor neither. But they didn’t stop there, Sunny turned her right arm into a cannon and started charging a devastating blow. Moon Breeze did the same, also charging a powerful attack. They both fired their projectile, but the one of Sunny went through the one of Moon Breeze and hit her. The impact caused a big explosion that illuminated the sky. The smoke dissipated, revealing that Moon Breeze’s armor had been damaged quite a bit. Sunny charged another attack, this time with two cannons.
“The next one will end this fight” she said.
“I am not done yet, said Moon Breeze, turning back into her male form and removing her armor. I am done playing. Time to get serious!!”
Sunny fired her projectiles at Moonlight, who grabbed them with his bare hands. He laughed and his body started consumming the darkness around him. His muscles expanded a lot and the surroundings temperature started lowering a lot. She also turned back into her male counterpart and stood on his guard. Frost looked at Sunlight, his eyes glowing black. Meanwhile, Sunset and Tirek were still duking it out. The shock of their attacks had caused a lot of damages to the fields, even destroying the abandonned installations of the place. Tirek was not showing any sign of weakness or exhaustion, while Sunset was starting to get tired.
”After everything i sent at him, she thought, He is not even phased.”
She looked in the sky and contacted Sunlight.
”Hey, brother, mind if we swapped opponents?” she asked
Sunlight received her telepatic message.
”Why not? He answered. But be on your guards with Moonlight”
”I felt his aura, said Sunset. He is pretty terrifying, But i think my magic could negate his magic. And be careful with Tirek, he absorbed the magic of Sombra and Stygian. So he is very powerful, so much that my magic barely phased him”
”Leave it to me, said Sunlight. I have unfinished business with him”
Sunlight swapped positions with his sister.
“I am your opponent, now, she said to Moonlight. Not too disappointed, i hope?”
“Not at all, said Moonlight. You were next on my list anyway, after Sunlight. Bring it, Sis!”
“Hey, knucklehead, said Sunlight to Tirek. You and me have a fight to finish”
“I didn’t forgot, said the villain. I hope you won’t deceive me like your sister.”
Sunlight charged at Tirek very fast and delivered a powerful punch in his guts, that brought the villain down to his knees
“I defend you to insult my dear sister, said Sunlight. You muscular jerk!”
Tirek got up, his hand on his belly.
“Alright, you hit hard” he said.
Sunlight uppercutted him and sent the bad guy flying a few seconds in the air. The hero teleported above him and dive-kicked him in the chest. Tirek was visibly confused.
“How? He asked. How can you hurt me, this armor can’t be that powerful...”
“Oh, didn’t i told you? He answered. My armor is now able to drain magic energy simply by being close or in direct contact with a source of magic. Your strenght and durability come from magic, and this armor was made to absorb it. To put it simply, hit me directly, and you lose magic power, i hit you, you lose magic power.”
“That’s impressive, said Tirek. But that mean that your armor have a limit to the amount of magic it can absorb.”
“True, said Sunlight. But there is more to it...”
He released the magic energy stocked in his armor in the form of fire, that he absorbed. He then used that boost of energy to trap Tirek in the ground using air and earth magic.
“I can use that stolen magic energy for my own benefits, he said. Girls, mind if i borrow some of yours?”
Twilight and her friends looked at each other and held their hands. They started glowing again and magic emanated from their bodies. Magic that Sunlight’s armor absorbed, converted into heat and that this one used to gain a huge amount of power. He removed his armor to wear his base superhero suit again. His friends were surprised.
“Wait, what? Asked Applejack. Why are you removing your armor?”
“I want this to be a fun fight, answered Sunlight. If things go bad, i can just summon my armor again”
“Right, said Twilight. If you need help, we are here...”
“You can jump in whenever you want, said Sunlight. Just don’t be reckless while fighting him.”
Rainbow Dash felt the eyes of everyone pointed at her.
“Okay, fine!! I will try to be careful!” she said.
Tirek got out of the ground and clapped his hand to create a shockwave. Sunlight blocked it by summoning a wall of earth in front of him and his friends.
“Rainbow Dash, said Sunlight. Ready to try the combo you talked me about sooner?”
“You know i am!” she answered.
She started running in circles around Tirek. Thanks to the upgrades Sunlight added on her suit to make it more aerodynamic, she was able to start a whirlwind around Tirek. Sunlight used his air magic to amplify the power of the whirlwind, turning it into a tornado. Tirek started floating in the air. Rainbow Dash left the tornado and Sunlight set it on fire.
“Blazing Spiral!!” said the both of them.
Sunlight looked at Rarity.
“Your turn, darling, he said to her. Time for our combo!!”
“I’m on it!!” she said, summoning a giant diamond in front of her, followed by smaller ones, all aligned to hit Tirek.
Sunlight charged a beam of light in his hand and fired it in the magic diamond. The crystal amplifyied the power of the magic ray and directed it to a second one, then another. The tornado disappeared and Tirek felt on his feet on the ground. He looked above him and realized the crystal above him, in the sky, The time he understood what was going to happen, it was too late.
“Radiant Beam!!” shouted Sunlight and Rarity, doing a cool pose
The magnifyied beam of light covered Tirek completely, and created a huge hole in the ground. The beam stopped after a couple of seconds. Tirek was barely able to stand on his feet.
“This is our time, girls!! Said Twilight. Let’s Rainbow laser him!!”
Tirek saw that the girls were charging their ultimate attack and rushed toward them.
“Oh no, you don’t!!” said Sunlight, using air, earth and nature magic to slow down the juggernaut.
“No!! He said. I won’t...I am not done yet!!”
“This is over, said Sunlight. You lost...”
Sunlight saw Stygian and Sombra and teleported them near Tirek. The mane 6 had finished charging the Rainbow Laser and released it on the 3 villains. Moonlight saw it happening from the sky.
“I guess my friends defeated your allies, said Sunset. Who had been able to bring Moonlight down to his knee. Don’t worry, you’ll be with them soon.”
Moonlight looked at Sunset, exhausted, angry and terrifyied. On the ground, Tirek, Sombra and Stygian were lying unconscious on the ground, totally depowered. Sunlight left them in the hands of his friends and came to join Sunset Shimmer.
“Your goons are out of commission, he said. And i see my sister was able to significantly weaken you...Good job, Sunset, i am proud of you!”
“Oh, thank you! She said, happy. Let’s finish this son of a bitch, shall we?”
“This is not over, said Moonlight, i still have a trump card!!”
He teleported near his goons, soon joined by the siblings. Moonlight looked at Chrysalis with a smile and pronounced a spell. Immediately, Chrysalis started yelling of pain. Her eyes turned red and a crazy smile appeared on her face. She transformed into a dragon and attacked Sunlight and the group.
“What are you doing, Chrysalis?! Asked Sunset. We are your friends!!”
“Not anymore, i am afraid, said Moonlight, who had freed and sent his allies in safety. She is mine, now!!”
“What have you done to her?!!” asked Sunlight.
“Don’t worry, said Moonlight. The effect of the spell is just temporary. But it will be just enough to allow me to retreat. You won this one, again, but next time, i will come back, even more powerful and with new allies.”
On these words, he disappeared. Sunlight turned his attention on Chrysalis, who Sunset and her friends had been able to contain. Sunset then used her magic to cure Chrysalis from the spell. After a few seconds, she succeeded to do so. Chrysalis eyes turned back to normal and felt unconscious afterward.
“That son of a bitch, said Sunset. He will pay for that...”
“Damn it, said Sunlight. If only i didn’t went on that space trip, i could have prevented her from meeting those 3 jerks. It’s my fault if Moonlight was able to escape. What a terrible friend i make”
“Sunlight... Said Sunset. This is not your fault, it’s mine. I was the one who was responsible of her safety and i did nothing to stop her from meeting those guys. I should have followed her...I knew it...”
Chrysalis opened her eyes, looked at Sunset and smiled.
“No, it is all my fault, Sunset, she said. I trusted those guys. If i was not so horny, i would have never followed them. And i paid the price of my carelessness...”
Sunlight took her in his arms.
“I will not leave you alone, never again” he said to her.
“Me neither!” said Sunset.
“You are so nice, both of you, said Chrysalis. And i promise i will never trust strangers again, and if in doubt, call for your help... Now, let’s get back home.”
The group walked together, in direction of Canterlot, leaving behind them a heavily damaged terrain. Full of holes. Meanwhile, Moonlight’s allies were recovering.
“We are sorry, boss, said Tirek. We failed you...”
Moonlight smiled.
“That’s fine. All of you did a great job...Don’t worry, next time, we’ll get them.”
“What’s your plan, now?” asked Sombra.
“Now, you need to rest, he said. In a couple of days, you should have recovered enough energy to move normally. Me, i will look for potential new allies to recruit. The world is vast. I will probably be gone for a week or 2. Sombra, i leave you in charge of the base in my absence. Sunlight will not find you here, so don’t worry. Do what you want, but do not leave this place until my return, okay?”
“Got it, said Sombra. And thank you for not abandonning us to them. I was wrong about you.”
“Pfft, what sort of leader would i be if i abandonned my team to the enemy, he said. I only saved you because i still have projects for you. Nothing else.”
“I think you like us, said Sombra. And you know what, we like you too, chief”
Moonlight left the room. Stygian was silent.
“You didn’t said anything since we arrived, Stygian, asked Sombra. Are you alright, bud?”
“I am fine, he said. I was just lost in my thoughts”
“Oh, okay, well, said Sombra. So...How do you feel about anime?”
“I am okay, said Tirek. Do any of you like Attack on Giants?”
“I would prefer Death Book” said Stygian.
“And i would love to continue Okome Go Kill” said Sombra.
