> Their eyes met > by Heesman > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter 1- Guardian Angel > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was an early morning in Ponyville. A day that began just like it always did. The sun was peeking up from behind the mountain tops, slowly pushing away the dark night sky to send it's nourishing rays of light upon all living beings worshiping it's life giving wealth. The day had begun, just like the daily life cycle of all the creatures living in and around Ponyville. However, for a specific orange unicorn stallion, his day had begun way before his neighbors. He was getting ready to walk over to the Sweet Apple Acres where he had gotten himself a job as an assistant to the apple family owning the massive orchard. As he walked up to the front door, ready to venture out in the early morning, he stopped as he saw a letter lying on the floor just inside of the massive door sealing him inside the small house he called home. He used his magic to lift up the envelope which he then opened up and began reading the letter found inside of it; ''Dear Shine Yellowsoul I appreciate your hard work here on our farm. But you seriously need to get yourself some rest. This is around the tenth time this month Big Macintosh had to carry you home after you've worked yourself to the bone. Therefore, we, the apple family, has decided to give you the weekend off. Take care and get some rest, sugar cube Sincerely, Applejack'' Shine tucked the letter back into the envelope and stashed it in a small box he put all of the letters he had received and read. Feeling a slight relief of not having to work for the rest of the weekend, he decided to follow Applejack's written order detailed in the letter to relax and get rested up. He walked out from his house, feeling the warmth of the sun lighting up his face as he peered his eyes all around him until his eyes had adjusted to the strength of the sun. To him, the sun felt unusually warm for the season. This sensation did not bother him however as he would appreciate any day the sun blessed the earth with it's presence. It did not matter if it was just the day after Winter Wrap Up day or just before the annual snow storm. No, Shine YellowSoul was happy to feel the warm sun on his face any day. This autumn morning was no different. A few other ponies shared his idea and was just outside their houses, pottering about. In the distant he saw the grey mailmare zigzagging between the houses, handing out envelopes to the ponies who already was out or just slipped them into the mailbox stationed in front of each house. Shine sat down next to his own mailbox, waiting for the grey mare. He basked in the sun, every now and then taking a peek to look how far away the mailmare was. She now was only one stop away from his house. She took a peek inside her mailbag and pulled out a bunch of envelopes, putting most of them into the mailbox in front of her. The rest of the envelopes were stuffed back into her bag. As she turned to face Shine sitting in front of his house, looking straight back at her, a bulky blue earth pony stallion came rushing out of his house and almost tore off the little hatch to his mailbox as he hastily checked his mail. He quickly turned to the grey mailmare and yelled at her. It was not hard for Shine to clearly hear the blue stallion's side of the conversation as it was obvious he was majorly upset about something. Seeing how things developed, Shine got up and approached the scene to hear the entire conversation. - You stupid filly! You did it again! I don't know how many times I've told you to make sure you only deliver MY mail to MY mailbox. - I-I am sorry mister, it's just that... The grey mare was steadily poking at the ground with her hoof, afraid to look the infuriated stallion in the eyes. - Quit your stupid excuses, I've had enough of this. I'll tell you once and for all; Get a new job or get a doctor to fix your stupid eyes. The blue stallion tackled the grey mare so that she flew into some rose bushes growing next to Roseluck's house. That was it, not even a calm and collected pony such as Shine could just stand by and watch this any longer. Shine levitated a rock next to his head which he sent flying, hitting the blue stallion in the back of his head. - Hey! Jerk-face! Are you really such a chicken that you have to pick on mares to feel like a proper stallion? The blue stallion scratched the back of his head before turning around, looking even more furious than before. He ran up close to Shine and glared him right into his eyes. - What did you call me, shrimp? - You heard me! But with that white mane of yours, I think I'll call you albino instead. The blue stallion was shocked to hear this. He backed away slightly, still looking angry beyond belief. - Say that again and I'll rearrange your face, shrimp! Shine began laughing with a nasty, almost evil-looking grin on his face. - Heh... mweheh. Mwahahaha! Humor me, albino! With that, Shine was coated by a yellow light originating from his horn. He stood up on his hind legs as the most stomach-churning cracking sound could be heard when his very bones changed shape. Smoke rose from Shine's human form as he rose to his full length, well taller than the blue stallion that was standing in front of Shine and just stared with his mouth gaping wide open. Shine quickly looked at himself before he resumed the staring contest between him and the bulky blue stallion. - Normally, actions like yours just a minute ago would make my stomach rumble for a nice juicy steak. But during the circumstances I'd probably only get a bad stomach-ache. - Who- who are you? WHAT are you? The blue stallion was looking in terror at the tall two-legged creature threatening to eat him. He could feel his knees trembling, immobilizing him on the spot. Shine ignored the stallion in front of him and took a step forward. - Heed this warning thou cowardly weakling; Repeat the deed you did today and I shall hunt you down, skin you alive and wear your white mane as a wig. The blue stallion turned around and ran back into his house, soundly locking the door after him. Shine was surrounded by yet another yellow light, this time welling out of his eyes when his bones once again changed shape, back into his pony form. As the light evaporated he took a quick look around himself, seeing a few mares just standing still and staring at him. - Mornin' everypony. Shine happily smiled at them as he trotted over to the rose bushes growing next to Roseluck's house. - Are you OK? He gave you quite a nasty push there. Shine called out to the bushes as he approached them. He carefully stuck his head into them to see where the mailmare went. She was lying there, covered in rose thorns stuck all around her body, tears showering her cheeks. The crying grey mailmare didn't notice Shine up until he had muscled his way into the bushes and put his hoof on top of hers. - I repeat, are you OK? Those thorns looks like they hurt a lot. - No, please, just go. I don't want you to make fun of me. Please, just leave me alone. The mailmare sat up, turning her back to Shine, facing the wall of the house. Tears still fell from her eyes to the ground, wetting the soil. - Oh, I'm not here to make fun of you. I'm here to help. I am happy to report that the mean stallion won't be bothering you anymore. You have my promise. Shine used his magic to carefully pluck a thorn loosely stuck on her back. He slowly levitate the long thorn in front of the face of the grey mare with a blonde mane. - Look, this thorn resembles that jerk. Poof, now he's gone. Shine let go of the thorn with his magic. The mare watched the thorn lie on the ground for a while before she turned her teary eyes to look back at Shine. - Thank you... i-it feels a lot better now. Uhm.. c-could you please help me get rid of the rest of the thorns? - Sure thing. However, the rest of them looks to have gone quite deep. I need to use forceps or something to coax them out. I suggest we get to my house where I as well can clean any wounds left behind from the thorns that went the deepest. The mare felt a sudden burst of joy unlike anything else. The surge was enough to flash a quick smile at Shine who caught the glimpse as he returned a smile of his own. Shine used his magic to gently bend a path in the rosebushes for the mare that slowly got up to her hooves and slightly limped out from the bushes. Shine shortly followed and plucked another loose thorn that was stuck in her left hind leg in the hollow of the knee. Both of them walked steadily towards Shines house. The mailmare was gently leaning against Shine walking next to her left side. She didn't really need any support to walk, but she felt that having someone this close to her was rather pleasant. > Chapter 2- Sooth the guilt > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Their short walk ended as they entered the center of Shine's house where he left the mare to sit down on a pillow he quickly had fetched from his bed since he had no spare ones. - Wait right here while I go get everything I need. Shine reassuringly said to the mare as he began criss-crossing around his house, getting the forceps, a small bowl, a package of bandages and his second pillow from his bed to sit on. He sat down on the mare's left side and began plucking all thorns he saw and every now and then putting a bandage on the spots he had to dig in a bit with the forceps to get the thorn out. There were multiple clinking sounds when he put the plucked thorn in the bowl. He quickly had plucked a fair dozen of thorns when he asked the mare to stand up so that he could coax the last one out that was stuck on the mare's right flank. - Hoo-we, there's the last one I think. But I need you to stand up so that I can more easily work on it. The mare obediently stood up and turned her head to give Shine a quick look with a pouty face. Staring right into his eyes. - Please be gentle. Shine blushed slightly when he realized he had been staring at her flank for quite a whime. He eventually shook his head and focused on the little thorn stuck in the middle of the biggest bubble that made the grey mare's cutie mark. Shine had to dig the forceps deeper into the flesh than before to get a grip on the slightly slippery thorn. It looked like the mare's body finally had begun reacting to the many punctuations the thorns had made as this final thorn was surrounded by pus. He purposely shoved the tips of the forceps into the mare's flesh to get a grip of the thorn and quickly yanked the thorn out which was tagged along with a pained whimper from the mare. Shine quickly put the forceps and the last of the thorns in the little bowl and gently put on a bandage where the thorn was and walked up to the face of the mare. - There we go, wasn't so bad, right? The mare didn't answer. She didn't need to either. The lone tears slowly sliding down her cheeks said everything he needed to know. - Oh, sorry. I guess I was too rough after all. Hm... what to do about that...? Shine quickly pondered on what to do. He shortly shone up and walked up to a big cabinet he used as a pantry. He used his magic to pick up a plate with a single muffin standing on the edge of it. He walked back to the mare and placed the plate in front of her. The sound the porcelain plate made to the wooden floor caught her attention as she slowly wiped her tears and just stared at the muffin before she looked up at Shine. Shine sat down in front of her and smiled, pushing the plate closer to her. - Here. The bandages might be able to patch up wounds but there's no better cure to sad feelings than a tasty treat. Go on, take it. I baked it yesterday with Pinkie Pie over at the Sugar Cube corner. This is the only pastry I really can do really well. I hope you like chocolate. The grey mare bent down and smelled the brown muffin sitting on a white porcelain plate in front of her. It smelled really sweet. It looked very well made too, she could tell, from all the muffins she had made herself. She nibbled a little on it and gave it a fair taste. She was amazed at the explosion of overwhelming flavor. She had never tasted something so rich in flavor. Nothing she had ever baked could match this sensation. The mare sat there, silently staring blankly straight ahead of her for a moment. She came to her senses from the sound of Shine beginning to laugh loudly. - Hahah, was it really THAT good, huh? The mare finished chewing and swallowed with a significant nod before she stuffed her mouth full with the rest of the muffin, leaving only crumbles on the plate. She couldn't help it but she happily chewed the pastry with a blissful look on her face. Seeing his pastry bring such happiness, Shine couldn't help it either but joined with a smiling face of his own. - I take it my so-so muffin was to at least SOME delight, am I right? The mailmare chewed some more before swallowing down a final time, ending her little meal with a delightful sigh. - Yes, it was good, really good. Thank you, Shine Yellowsoul. - You're welcome, you can just call me Shine, all my friends do. That reminds me, I don't think I know your name. May I ask what it could be? The mare looked down, trying to hide a shameful expression. - Oh... my name... I-i'm... eh... She hesitate a lot before taking a deep breath, raised her head and looked straight into Shine's eyes. - My name is Ditzy Doo. But you can call me, uhm... D-derpy... all my... f-f-friends do... Derpy trailed out at the end, once again trying to hide the shame she felt. Shine flinched when hearing the name of the earlier, to him, nameless mare. - Ditzy Doo? YOU'RE Ditz- Oh, I'm sorry. So, YOU'RE Derpy? - What? You have heard of me? Derpy was shocked at knowing Shine knew about her. Shine's face changed to a rather serious expression as he looked out the open window, towards Cloudsdale. - Yeah, some things. None pretty though. Remind me later that I gotta have a talk to a few ponies about spreading rumors. - Will do. Shine's face changed back to his old, far more jolly one, still with a hint of seriousness. - Good, now then. What happened back there that made that stallion behave like that? It's alright if you don't wanna tell, I'm just curious. - I... I really don't know. I was just doing what I was hired to do, deliver mail each and every day. But one day he kept meeting me as I delivered his mail every morning, asking for some kind of package. It lasted for about two weeks, same thing every day. I approached his mailbox, put his mail in it and just as I was about to leave, he always came out and checked his mail without emptying the mailbox. As he realized whatever he was waiting for hadn't come, he always yelled my way if he had any bigger mail he had to pick up. But the answer was always ''No''. Then... then... then... the package finally arrived... a-and... Tears began welling up in Derpy's eyes, causing difficulties for her to speak. - There, there. Take a deep breath, gather your thoughts. Continue when you feel that you are ready. Shine said with a soft tone, seeking her eyes' attention. Derpy wiped her tears with her left front hoof and peeked with her right eye at Shine. When she realized he actually was looking back she quickly shut her eyelid and bent her head downwards and continued her story. - The package arrived to the post office and it was on my to-do list to deliver it to him, but I... I... - What happened? Suddenly, Derpy lunged at Shine, tightly hugging him while she cried louder than ever before. - I DELIVERED THE PACKAGE TO THE WRONG HOUSE! As Shine recovered from the shock of being hugged so suddenly, he began feeling tears sliding along his back. One slowly sunk into his coat, tagged along by a second tear, keeping a third one in close company. All of a sudden there were too many tears to keep track of. He hugged her back and slowly began rocking back and forth, left to right, gently humming a melody for a while before he quietly began singing in Derpy's ear, almost whispering; ''När trollmor har lagt de elva små trollen och bundit fast dem i svansen Då sjunger hon sakta för elva små trollen de vackraste ord hon känner: Ho aj aj aj aj buff Ho aj aj aj aj buff Ho aj aj aj aj buff buff Ho aj aj aj aj buff'' Derpy quieted down upon hearing the calming melody ring in her ears as she slowly looked into Shine's eyes with her own disoriented eyes. - Once more... please.. just one more time. Derpy placed her chin on Shine's tear-soaked shoulder when he once again began rocking back and forth, humming the soothing melody. Upon finishing the song for the second time, Shine gently stroke the grey mare on her back a few times and slowly pushed her so that she sat upright on her own. He reached a hoof and wiped away a tear that had stopped halfway down her left cheek. - The song I just sang, it's a lullaby my mother used to sing for me when I was a baby. Sorry if you didn't understand it, I just felt that it would sound better if I sang it in it's original language, my first language. Derpy yawned loudly while rubbing her eyes with her front hooves. - It was beautiful, I don't know how long it was since the last time somepony sang for me, let alone a lullaby, thank you Shine. I really needed that. The two ponies sat there for a while, just staring at each other. After a while, Shine began feeling a bit restless and got up to his hooves and walked up to his panty and rummaged through it for a while. He returned to the mare sitting in the center of his house with a tray with two glasses of orange juice which he put down on top of the white porcelain plate next to Derpy. Shine used his magic to levitate one of the glasses in front of his face as he took a sip of the juice. - I'm glad you liked the lullaby. It's one of the few good memories I have from back home. Derpy smiled at Shine before she also took a sip of her orange juice. Another period of complete silence passed without much happening except the two ponies every now and then taking a sip from their drinks. Eventually, Shine emptied his glass, bottoms up, and put it down next to him. - Sorry if I'm a bit stubborn Derpy, but, uhm... do you mind... continue telling me what happened when you accidentally delivered the package to the wrong house? Perhaps I can shed some light on the situation? - Oh uh, OK then, it is the least I can do for all you have done for me. Derpy momentarily put her hoof to her forehead and tried thinking how far she had gotten in her explanation of what she thinks caused the blue stallion to behave so poorly. - Let's see... yeah, so, I accidentally delivered his package to the wrong house. When he found out, he said some very mean things about me. Derpy was sounding somewhat gloomy, but she wasn't about to cry. - What did he call you? Shine was sounding somewhat demanding, filled up with anticipation. - A lot of stuff. Names, accusations of me purposely delivering wrong mail and a lot of different insults, some I've never heard of and some I just downright didn't understand, maybe they were in a different language, I don't know. Shine was just sitting there, shocked, stunned, dumbfounded. Anger began filling up as his limbs tensed up, twitching from all the frustration. - WHAT!? How dare he? If he's so sure that it's such an easy job then he can do it himself! When I get my hands on him, I'll rip him to pieces. Shine got up to his hooves and determined began walking towards his door, but was abruptly stopped when Derpy stepped on his tail. - No, Shine! Please don't! I-I don't want to be accused of causing trouble to anypony. Please don't do anything rash. Derpy pleaded to Shine who sighed as he tried to relax his body. He turned his head and looked at the mare standing on his tail, pressing it down to the wooden floor with both her front hooves. - As you wish. With a flick whip of his tail, Shine turned around and looked back into his house. - Just, excuse me while I go nuts for a while. > Chapter 3- The Revelation > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enveloped in yellow energy, Shine's bones began making loud cracking noises as they changed his appearance to his human self. With a mighty roar, he began punching the wall next to the door. Shortly after, he ran up to a bookcase with many items in it and just threw them onto the floor, creating one big mess of his house. He settled his anger with a few more punches on the same spot as earlier. Panting heavily, Shine collapsed to the floor, blood slowly dripping from his busted knuckles. Derpy stood in the middle of the one giant room that was Shine's house and watched in terror at the senseless actions of Shine Yellowsoul. She ran up to Shine and sat down next to him trying to tend to his wounds on his right hand. - You are crazy, why did you do that for? How can you hurt yourself like that? Derpy ran for some of the bandages Shine used earlier and tried to use them. They were very different from what she was used to so she ended up getting one stuck across her nose. - Thanks Derpy, I'll take that. Shine had gotten up and walked up behind Derpy. As she turned around, Shine quickly yanked off the plaster and put it on himself. - Ow! That hurt! Hey, why did you mess up your home like that? It makes no sense. Derpy hovered just a small distance from the floor so that she could stare into Shine's eyes. Shine looked back but with a more carefree look in his eyes. - So, the fact that I now look like an entirely different creature doesn't bother you? Derpy flinched slightly at the realization and gave Shine a quick scanning look. - Hm... OK that it is a little freaky. But I don't think any differently about you just because of that. Shine heartily laughed. - That's mighty fine to hear, Derpy. I really like the kind that don't worry too much of your looks. Derpy blushed in response as she landed, looking up at the tall creature smiling back at her. - I am wondering... what... do you think of me? - Hmm... Shine put his hand to his chin and closely examined Derpy for a while. - Hmm... good question, I haven't really though about it. You're kind, I guess. You also seem to always have good intentions no matter what you do. - Really? Shine smiled, still keeping his hand to his chin. - Yeah, you're really nice and thoughtful. At times, perhaps a little clumsy... Derpy began looking a little shameful. - ...but hey, everyone can, or should I say, everyPONY can foul up every now and then. Shine kneeled to keep his head on the same level as Derpy - Seeing how you react tells me a lot. Shine gently lifted Derpy's chin to look into her eyes. - There's nothing wrong in making a mistake, as long as you don't let it weight you down. - But what should I do when it happens? Derpy sorrowfully looked back at Shine. - Laugh it away. Shine quickly responded. - Huh? - Laugh, giggle, make a joke out of it. Or the very least, just smile and try again. Remember; No one should be faulted for trying. - I-I don't know if I can. Derpy looked down with her eyes. - 'Course you can! Perhaps not the first time, but give it a chance, try it. If that fails, just keep on trying. Sometime you gotta succeed. You haven't lost until you give up. Derpy looked up at Shine with teary eyes and closed in on him for a hug. Derpy tightly hugged Shine's lower torso, feeling a joyful tear escape the corner of her left eye which fell down and splashed on Shine's right foot. A while passed after which Shine cleared his throat. - Ahem, so uh... it's getting a little awkward here. - Oh, I'm sorry Shine. Derpy let go of Shine with a blushed face. - You actually, now that I think of it, seem very nice. I feel I'd like to know more about you. - Really? Seriously? - Yeah, for sure, why don't you come to my birthday party tomorrow? It may not me as swanky or lively as you might be used to, but I don't think you will be bored to death. Even if you would, you are free to leave if you wish. Derpy talked to herself for while. - Hmm... I don't think I have anything planned for tomorrow after work. And it's Saturday, so I don't think there will be that many deliveries. I don't think it would hurt to get to know a new friend every now and then. - Then you'll come? Shine intervened. - Hm... Yeah, I think so. What time? - Let's see... Shine looked at a watch hanging on the wall. - ...as I don't have any work for tomorrow either, I'll probably sleep in a bit and wake up around 9, perhaps 10. So, let's say... come by at 3 'o clock, I should have everything ready by then. - 3 'o clock it is then. See you then, Shine. Shine looked shocked at Derpy's sudden urge to leave. - What? You don't have to leave yet? Do you? - Sorry Shine, but I still got mail to deliver. By the way, do you know where my mailbag went? Shine quickly pondered on the question. - I don't remember picking up any bag when I picked you up. So I'd say it's still somewhere in the bushes. If it isn't, I can come help looking. - It's fine Shine, thanks for everything. I think I can hold my own from now on. With that, Derpy and Shine said their goodbyes and parted ways. As Shine watched Derpy happily trot out from his house, he felt a lump in his throat, feeling all warm and fuzzy inside of him. - ''She seems nice, really nice in fact.'' Shine thought to himself. - ''If anything, she got quite a nice looking butt on her.'' Shine laughed a little at himself while closing the door. Upon realizing what he just thought, he opened his right palm fully and slapped himself as hard as he could. - ''I SO did not think like that right now.'' - Oh, I quite think you did, Shine. Shine talked to himself, having a full conversation with his mind. - ''Can we please pretend I DIDN'T think about it, k?'' - Fine, fine, whatever floats your Floatzel. You gotta confess though, you liked what you saw, right? - ''Will you shut up?'' - CUPCAKES! After Shine's obscure little conversation, he went on with the preparation for his little get-together. He went out to Sugar Cube Corner and ordered his birthday cake, a giant, green single-tier marzipan cake. > Chapter 4- The heart of the inferno > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next day, Shine was very anxious, pacing back and forth while waiting for his one and only guest. - What's the clock? 2:48, good. All set? Let's see, cake? Check. Punch? Check. - ''Unnecessary anxiety and worry over meeting a new friend?'' - Absolutely, check! Shine took a deep breath. He sat down in the middle of his house and shut his eyes. - ''Easy now! You've met her countless times in the morning. Why so nervous NOW all of a sudden?'' - I'd say it's because now it's OFFICIAL and PLANNED. You know I want it casual. Why aren't YOU nervous about it? - ''Pffth! Why should I? I'm not the one having to face her.'' - You DO know that I am you and you are me, right? So whatever I have to do, SO, DO, YOU. - ''Well thanks for that! Now I'm just as nervous as an anxious hedgehog in a balloon factory'' - You're welc- Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. - Well, here goes, tough guy? You ready? - ''NO! I'm not!'' - Me neither... Shine opened the door with a big smile to greet the grey mare. - Hello Derpy! Nice to see you! Come in, come in! - Thank you, Shine. It's nice to see you again, too. Derpy took a step forward and quickly looked around the empty house. - Where are all the guests? Derpy said standing just outside Shine's house. - They are, or should I say, she is, standing right in front of me. Please, do come inside. Shine stepped aside and held up the door in a chivalrous manner. - How come you have only invited me Shine? I remember clearly you have talked about numerous friends every now and then when I deliver your mail. Derpy asked as she stepped over the threshold. - Well to put it simple, if I would invite them, which would include Pinkie Pie, things would have become rather noisy, and I like to enjoy peace and quiet. Shine flashed his normal carefree smile. - Besides, Pinkie Pie insisted on hosting my birthday party which I convinced her was NEXT Saturday and... Shine trailed out at the end as he looked outside with a worried look on his face. - Oh no, this is bad! - What is bad? Derpy turned her head to see three stallions march towards her and Shine. The first one in the middle leading the charge was the familiar blue earth pony stallion. To his sides were a red coated angry looking pegasus and a black coated diabolic looking unicorn. They barged into Shine's house, tackling them both to the center of the large room. Despite being knocked to the floor, Shine was surprisingly quick at getting up again, positioning him between the three ruffians and Derpy. - GET OUT! Shine yelled at the three stallions with a growl-like voice. Ignoring the threatening order, the blue stallion took a step forward. - Well, well, well. Having a little celebration are we? What's the occasion and why didn't we get invited. - I don't tend to invite the likes I pair together with a slow, agonizing death. Now, get out of my house! The black stallion chuckled as he stepped up, next to the blue stallion. - What makes you think you're such a hot-shot that you can boss US around? The black stallion began channeling magic into his horn. Almost impulsively, Shine transformed to his human form and dashed at the black stallion, grabbing his horn with his right hand. Shine glared into the terrified eyes of the black stallion - This makes me think that! With those words, yellow energy erupted from Shine's right shoulder, traveling along his arm and finally gathering up in the back of his hand before he let all energy out in one massive burst, right into the head of the black stallion which let out a blood chilling scream. The black stallion collapsed and as his horn slipped out of Shine's grip, the red energy previously enveloping the horn now seemed to have stuck to Shine's palm instead. Shine looked at his own hand and seemed to play around with the magical substance, shaping it into a small red ball. - What the heck did you do to him? You freak! The red stallion snarled at Shine. Without turning to the red stallion, Shine responded as he toyed with the red little ball. - Magic leech, very effective against other magical abilities. Who would have known I would have use for such a spell? THINK FAST! Without the slightest of warning, Shine threw the red ball in the face of the red stallion which also fell to the floor. - SHINE! HELP! Derpy yelled across the room as she was cornered against a wall and a bookcase by the blue stallion. She watched in terror at the grinning face of the blue stallion as he slowly walked closer to the trembling grey mare. All of a sudden, Shine appears behind the blue stallion and hooks his right arm around the blue stallion's neck, squeezing tightly which caught the blue stallion by surprise as he began struggling and making choked gurgling. - Give me ONE good reason I shouldn't snap your neck right this instant. - Aaargh... let... me go... shrimp... The blue stallion could hardly talk from the choking grip Shine got around his neck. With a grunt of his own, Shine swung around 180 degrees, flinging the blue stallion out through the wide open door causing him to tumble a distance on the ground. Shine used his magic to throw out the other two stallions. Shortly after, Shine stood on the door's threshold, gazing out on the pile of stallions with a look in his eyes that showed the raw lust for blood-shed. - Bully me all you want, but if you EVER even dare look Derpy's ways and I hear about it, I'll hunt you all down to the deepest reaches of hell, even if it kills me. With these words, Shine went inside his house and slammed the door shut and sank down to the floor. - Shine! Are you OK? You are trembling! - Y-yeah... i-it's just from all the adrenaline... ugh... I had forgotten... h-how it felt... Shine looked at his shaking hands. He tried to relax, but they would stop trembling. - I-I’ll be fine... just lemme... rest a little. Shine huddled up with his back to the door, wrapping his arms around his knees, putting his forehead resting on top of them. Derpy tilted her head, looking at the strange creature that for the second time now helped her without her ever asking. Even though it felt strange to be so close to a creature she knew nothing of, it didn't feel wrong. Thoughts like these swarmed her mind as she approached Shine and sat down to huddle up along with him. She sat down on his left side, leaning her head towards him and stretching her wing out and gently rubbing him on his back, just as if she was trying to keep him warm. She leaned closer to his ear and whispered. - Thank you. - Hm? Shine turned his head and looked into Derpy's eyes. One of her eyes were looking at him while the other had wandered of, looking somewhere else. - Thank you. Derpy repeated. - Thank you for helping me. Shine smiled at her in response. They kept looking into each others eyes for a while. After almost a full minute Shine broke the silence. - Wanna know something awesome? - Yeah sure, what is it? Derpy sounded quite excited. - Look into my eyes again. Derpy looked closely. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. - What is it Shine? I can't see anything- OH SWEET CELESTIA! Derpy got frantic out of surprise so see what Shine wanted her to see. - H-h-how can you do that? How can you move your eye like that? Shine laughed a little as he put his hand on Derpy's back to calm her down. - Easy now. I can do that with my eye because... well... I was born with it. - What? You were born with that ability? Shine slowly shook his head at Derpy's conclusion. - Ability? Nah. Ailment? Yes. If it wasn't for the magic lenses I have around my eyes, I would be wearing glasses. When I was a little kid, it was a great disability since I couldn't control my eyes with or without glasses. But eventually I learned to control it so that it looked normal, provided I wanted it too, as I just showed. Derpy was clapping her hooves in excitement at learning there was another with an eye disorder. - Oh, Shine, I feel so happy I just want to... I just want to... mmh! Derpy's emotions grew too strong and took hold of her as she opened up to fathom Shine, giving him a long and passionate kiss on the mouth. The short moment the kiss lasted felt like forever. Eventually, Derpy stepped back as she realized what she was doing. Her face was a burning red color when she began looking down, poking the wooden floor with her hoof. - I just wanted to... show... uhm... h-how happy I felt. - Point taken! Shine rapidly responded as he himself had trouble understanding he just got kissed. He stood up on his feet, stumbling a bit before he recalibrate his balance. Yellow energy slowly seeped out of his eyes as he changed shape to his pony form. - So, now that we've taken care of that, uhm... how about we get on with the partying? I mean, that was why I invited you in the first place, right? Shine had his normal sarcastic tone in his speech, feeling everything is as it should, despite everything that had happened. - Oh, yeah, yeah! I-i would like to have a slice of that delicious looking cake. Derpy also was pretty shook up from the afternoon's events but tried to not look bothered by them. - Dibs on the first slice, I AM the birthday boy after all. Shine said as he approached the simple green marzipan cake he had picked up from Sugar Cube corner, without Pinkie Pie knowing, of course. The afternoon went on with Shine and Derpy partying together. Doing all sorts of things ranging from silly guessing games to singing songs all the way to Shine reading a few poems he had written himself. > Chapter 5- Confession > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- As the afternoon turned into night and then into late night, both Shine and Derpy were starting to look very fatigued, despite them sharing such a cheerful moment together. Derpy was getting ready to leave as Shine held up the door with an equitable pose. - Thank you Miss Derpy for joining us at such a magnificent occasion. We certainly hope that you had a great time and that you shall join us the year to come. Shine was talking with a silly, chivalrous tone. - My, oh my, we certainly had an explicit wonderful time here great Sir Shine. We shall return for more the next time you make the excellent decision of hosting yet another of these, ''parties''. Derpy and Shine were laughing heartily at their silly little scene. But when Derpy was to take the step outside the threshold, she froze, blankly staring out in the pitch-black night. Shine could see at Derpy's terrified face that something was heavily bothering her. - What's the matter Derpy? - I am scared. Derpy's voice was weak from fear as she took a step away from the door. - Of darkness? Shine tried to fill in. - No, of THEM, those meanies. Derpy sat down as she put her hoof to the door, taking control of it from Shine and slowly closing it. - They have been following me every now and then. They never did anything to me back then. But now from what has happened, I am very scared they WILL do something horrible to me if I ever show myself outside alone again. Derpy looked down at the floor, occasionally sniveling to herself. Shine looked around his house for a solution. After scanning his house with his eyes, he locked focus on the couch standing in front of the fireplace. - Hm... It isn't much but, perhaps you can stay the night here? You can sleep on the couch, it's not all that super comfy, but it should suffice. I think I have a spare blanket somewhere in case of cold winter. - Really? I can stay here? Oh, thank you Shine, I feel so relieved. Derpy smiled widely as she trotted over to the couch which she lie down on. Shine wasn't far behind with the promised spare blanket which he used his magic on to carefully put Derpy to bed. Derpy couldn't resist giggling at how generously she was being treated. She peeked with her right eye at Shine and spoke to him, almost whispering; - Shine... could you please... sing that lullaby again for me? It was so beautiful and soothing. - As you wish. Shine cleared his throat and tried tuning his voice so that he would get the same deep, slow-paced voice he had earlier. After a little while he took a deep breath and began singing his song even slower than before. With almost perfect timing as Shine finished the song, soft snoring could be heard from Derpy, indicating her successful journey to the land of dreams. Shine smiled at how effective his lullaby was and quietly walked up to his own bed and soundly fell asleep in it with a thud. A few hours passed of the calm night only to be interrupted by a blood-curling scream of terror. - THEY ARE COMING FOR ME! - Huh? Who? Hey! I'm right at it! Shine threw off his quilt and jumped up from his bed still half asleep. He tripped on a pillow he accidentally had thrown on the floor in his sleep. He purled into the couch Derpy was lying on with a loud bang. Shine rubbed his eyes as he slowly rose to look at Derpy from behind the couch. - Oh! Shine! I had the worst of nightmares! It was horrible! Derpy hugged Shine and was about to start crying when Shine hugged her back and pat her on her head. - There, there, Derpies. It was just a dream. Dreams can't hurt you. Just relax and take a deep breath. - Dream or no dream, I was so scared those meanies would get me. Derpy hugged Shine even tighter when Shine slowly began rocking back and forth, trying to calm the hysterical mare. - Ssh, ssh, ssh, ssh... just take it easy... they're gone now. I drove them away, remember? Now, take a deep breath and relax. - Yeah, I remember, Shine. I-it was just a bad dream... just... a bad dream. Derpy sniveled and sighed a few times before she let go of Shine and finally lie down again on the couch. Shine used his magic to tucked in the blanket just like he did earlier. - Nighty, nighty, Derpy, hopefully you'll have a better dream this time. - Good night, Shine. Sorry for waking you up. Derpy and Shine exchanged a smile before they both went back to get some sleep. As Shine had gotten all cozy under his giant quilt, he heard the clopping of hooves slowly coming towards him. He forced his tired eyes open to see Derpy standing in front of him with an awkward expression. - Uhm... s-sorry if I woke you up, again. B-but I can't really sleep. I just can't stop thinking of the nightmare I had. Derpy approached Shine's bed and put her front hooves on the edge of the mattress. - Y-your bed also seems well big enough for you and I was wondering.... if I... perhaps... could... sleep next to you? Derpy blushed intensively at her request. - I think I would feel much more, erm... safe... please? Shine grumbled a little while to himself with closed eyes, which made Derpy unsure if Shine even was awake. But eventually, Shine moved to the far end of the bed with a huge yawn. He turned to lie on his right side, facing away from the mare that carefully crawled under the huge marine blue quilt that could cover a lot more than the size of the bed and easily both of the ponies huddling beneath its warm threads. - Uhm, Shine, please don't fall asleep yet. Derpy gently poked Shine on his back which made him turn around yet again. Shine yawned loudly once again before he spoke. - Hm? Need to talk about your nightmare? Was it that bad? - Oh, uhm. No, not that. I only wanted to talk to you... a-about everything that has happened lately. Derpy could see that Shine's eyes opened up fully out of curiosity. - Anything in particular that you need to get off your chest? Shine smiled gently at the slightly nervous mare lying in front of her. - Well... I-i was just... wondering... what made you stand up for me that day? I've checked around a little and found out that you wouldn't stand up for somepony you hardly know unless there is something going on. - Bullies! Shine rapidly answered with an unflinching tone. Derpy herself couldn't help but flinch at the quick and confusing answer. - Bullies? She answered while scratching her head. Shine sighed deeply a few times as he close his eyes. - Bullies. That stallion was nothing more than a bully. A bully, feasting upon the suffering he caused to innocent creatures just because of his own insecurity. Derpy was feeling much more confused than answered. Shine kept talking. - I'll let you in on a little something about myself no other pony knows of. Spread it if you wish, I really could care less. Your choice. - Oh, I wouldn't dream of telling anypony of your secrets, Shine. Derpy smiled at Shine. A smile Shine didn't see as he still had his eyes closed. - Very well then. It all began the very first day of school when I was just a little guy. I was oblivious to the bullies back then. But as I grew, I became aware of the horrible deeds they were doing to me. They weren't laughing with me, they were laughing AT me. By that realization, things grew worse. I began telling them to stop. But I only fueled the already out-of-control inferno that was the foundation for my future in the shape of education. - Oh my! Why didn't the teachers to anything about it? Derpy put one of her hooves to one of Shine's hooves that she found under the quilt to comfort. Shine quickly smiled but soon after looked down with sorrow in his eyes. - Pfft! It'd be a miracle if they ever did anything that was outside their job description. I had the ''great'' luck of getting teachers that only cared for the star students, students that were far better than everybody else. I never was good at anything, studying the least. Therefore I was bundled together with the rest of the boys in my class. So I was stuck with jerks, bullies and the likes that were both. I was forced to associate myself with those that I hated. People I desperately tried to get away from. Separated from the few girls that were my only friends. Derpy gasped slightly but was quickly silenced by Shine who put a hoof to her mouth. - Hush! I know what you are thinking. We were nothing more than friends, got it? Shine glared deeply into Derpy's eyes. The slightly terrified mare nodded slowly. Shine removed his hoof from her mouth and put it back underneath the soft quilt. - At that time, the intensity of the bullying kept at a regular pace. It wasn't until the later years of elementary school that my life went from bad to worse. I was enjoying my lunch with my friends during a day that had been abnormally calm and overall good. Like a lightning from clear sky, a guy that was a few years older than me that I had a bit of history with came up to our table from behind my back. Unprovoked, he knocked my plate down on the floor without any reason. Pent up with anger from years of bullying, I lost all that was self control. - What happened? Please tell me what happened? Derpy was filled with anticipation. - I hit him. I hit him as hard as I could. I think I managed to hit his lower jaw and bust a tooth. I don't really remember. I was lost inside myself. Imprisoned by anger and hatred. I remember him stomping me on my back and spitting blood down my neck as he yelled at me, asking me if I ''enjoyed picking a fight''. - How horrible! Didn't anypony do anything? Derpy was devastated to hear this tale. - No. Nobody dared to do anything. That good-for-noting-ass-hole only backed away when the old ladies serving the food yelled at us for messing up the dining hall. Once they got close enough to us they saw what was going on and called out to the teachers that was eating their lunch just around the corner a short distance away from the scene. After I've gotten a new plate of food and discussed with my friends what happened, which I to this day still have hard to believe happened, we were waiting the last minutes of our recess just outside the classroom when that same idiot walks straight up to me. He forced me up to the wall, continuing to threaten me. Accusing me of what he started. Then... ''IT'' happened. - ''It''? Don't be so secretive, tell me what happened! Did he hurt you? Derpy was beyond herself with worry. - No, he did not hurt me. What happened was that someone FINALLY stood up for me. After years of being alone, forced to make everything by myself, someone finally stood up for me. Someone that meant, and still do mean a lot to me. But since I don't see a way of going back to the life I used to live, I've realized that I might as well forget about her. Thought it hasn't gone too well as my dreams remind me every time I think I have managed to move on. It hurts, it hurts so much to be reminded... reminded of that horrible day. Tears formed in Shine's eyes as his voice began to tremble. Derpy felt a lump in her throat as well when she slowly moved closer to Shine and wrapped her hooves around him, drawing his body closer to her own. She softly stroke his mane to comfort which seemed to work as Shine's sobering quieted down. - There, there. I'm so sorry if I opened up an old wound. When Shine had calmed down completely, he gently placed his head so that his horn was alongside Derpy's forehead, silently thanking her for her kindness. - Thank you Derpy, I feel a lot better now that I've gotten a chance to talk about it. Derpy giggled in response and softly gave him a kiss on his muzzle. - Anytime, Shiny. You helped me out, now I help you out. She whispered as she placed her head back to the old position, feeling his horn flat to her forehead. - Besides, you make me feel like I've never felt before. Derpy blushed when she realized that Shine was moving even closer to her when their chests made contact. - And how, if I may ask, do I make you feel? Derpy blushed even more when she tried thinking of the feelings she had for Shine. - Whu-well... h-happy, I guess... You also make me feel special. There's also this new feeling I've never felt before the incident yesterday. Shine shone up with a sort of teasing giggle. - Oh ho ho, lemme guess. You feel excited, but still calm? Energized yet tired? Tense but relaxed at the same time? On top of everything, you feel this strange ticklish feeling? Derpy hugged Shine even tighter with a delightful giggle. - That's it! How did you know? Shine swung his forelegs around Derpy, pressing his hooves gently at the base of her wings. He could feel that the wings themselves were tense but not the muscles attaching them to her back. - The feeling is mutual, my dear Derpies. Derpy gasped slightly when she felt Shine's hooves pressing against her back. She never thought that touching there would make her feel like this. Energy like no other she had felt was building up inside her. The strange ticklish feeling traveled so incredibly slowly from her back down to her hind legs, jumping between the inside of her thighs, left to right, right to left, every now and then taking a slow delay in-between them, teasing her. Her breathing had intensified as her legs tended to twitch unwillingly with very long delays between each. She felt that she wanted more of this strange, almost forbidden feeling. - Oh sweet Celestia! Whatever you're doing I beg you, please do not stop. She felt an uncontrollable pool of saliva forming in her mouth. She kept swallowing but it came back in what seemed as a blink of an eye. She moved up a little so that she could position her mouth to the base of Shine's horn which she then began kissing, licking and eventually sucking on, keeping her tongue wrapped around it as much as she could. She gave it a gentle tug every time she felt a twitch of her own. > Chapter 6- Passion > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- After a while they stopped. A thin string of saliva still connected Derpy's tongue with Shine's horn for a few seconds longer until it dripped down on his forehead. Derpy was panting lightly as she crawled back under the quilt to face Shine's sparkling eyes. - What now? I thought you liked my little massage. I was starting to think you'd want to step things up a bit. A small but clearly visible spark was seen in Derpy's eyes. - Oh, but didn't you mind me doing what I did to your horn? - Not at all. It actually felt quite good. You can resume your work, if you want to, that is. Derpy gave a huge kiss to Shine before looking deeply into his eyes. - Oh, I never thought you would ask. With that, Derpy crawled upwards until her head hit the frame of the bed. She gently licked the tip of the horn, tracing it all the way from the tip of her tongue, slowly sliding down her throat. As she was lying there with a stallion's horn deep down her throat, she felt a hoof being placed on her diaphragm. It slowly began zigzagging it's way down her stomach. The ticklish feeling grew larger than ever before. She didn't know why and she didn't want to know why but she instinctively began sucking the horn while starting a slow rhythmic up and down motion on Shine's horn. She was soon rewarded for unwittingly delivering pleasure as the hoof she felt began making tight circles around her left teat. The ticklish feeling was too overwhelming, she couldn't help but moan as she continued her devouring of the now drool-soaked orange horn. Derpy could now feel that the ticklish feeling had brought an intense wet feeling between her legs, even more than from all the sweat that her body had excreted. She tried to sneak a hoof down her body but it was quickly swatted away by Shine who had other thoughts. - No, no, no! I can take care of this part for you. You just keep on doing what you did and you'll be in for a surprise or two. Shine used his hoof to swiftly circle Derpy's teats once more before he ventured with his hoof even further down her body. He slowly began circling her marehood counter-clockwise, making sure he didn't touch too close to her anus as he passed. He quickly realized his actions were highly appreciated as Derpy took his horn as far down her throat she could, even though it made her cough a little. Shine had throughout the act been feeling the very same ticklish feeling as his partner but for him it had exploded from the top of his head, all the way down to his own precious genital. For every time Derpy deep-throated his horn it became harder and harder for him to focus. Sweat from himself mixed with drool from the mare treating his magical horn like a lollipop stung in his eyes. He clenched his eyes shut and just focused on what his hooves were doing. His left hoof was fiddling around in his own nether regions, jerking off his third hind leg while his right hoof was intruding in the nether regions of a pony he, up until yesterday, only knew of as the mare that delivers any mail sent to him. Shine tried not to think too much about it for now and just enjoyed the sensation he shared with the mare of his life. After he had circled Derpy's labia a few times he mustered enough courage to attempt a direct approach. He carefully slid his hoof upwards from the lowest part of her. He barely pressed anything but he could tell it was enough for a reaction as Derpy moaned slightly and stroke his mane a few times. He circled his hoof back bellow her labia and went for another approach, applying a bit more pressure than last time. Her labia opened up slightly for his hoof and a thin layer of liquid covered the underside of Shine's hoof. Shine was starting to feel light-headed, almost dizzy, as he could feel his horn on his head throb hard into his skull in rhythm with his heartbeats. He knew he wouldn't last long now and hurried up his own work by readying for a third approach. Halfway past Derpy's marehood, Shine froze and couldn't do anything else than just lie there and enjoy the orgasm erupting from the horn on his head. It felt hot as an inferno when his horn uncontrollably let out multiple small spurts of concentrated magic. Derpy tried to drink as much of the strange liquid that surprised her good. But every time she tried to swallow, the liquid evaporated and left nothing in her mouth but a strong taste of orange juice. Both of the ponies crept back under quilt they seemed to have thrown of themselves to relieve them of the some of the sweaty heat they had created. Derpy slowly but passionately kissed Shine which tried doing the same in return but ended up just repeatedly stroking Derpy's mane. - I am sorry for not bringing any birthday gift to you, but I hope this will suffice. - It sure does. Shine looked longingly into Derpy's eyes which seemed to both look back at him every time he looked closely. Suddenly, Shine's unflinching eyes were accompanied by a slightly naughty smile that spread wide across his face. - Well, how 'bout I return some of the gratitude you've been showing me lately? One of Derpy's eyes suddenly flung back to it's irregular state as she responded with anticipation. - What do you mean? - Well, how should I put it? Consider what we've been doing for quite a while now and tell me; Is there anything, I mean it, ANYTHING, that you've always dreamed of doing. Not just since I stood up for you, but that special dark secret you've never told anypony of. Now's your chance to make that dream come true. Derpy felt yet another urge unlike anything she had experienced before. This urge was massively triggered by Shine's slightly terrifyingly naughty grin. - Oh my, such an opportunity... uhm.. l-let me think for a bit. Derpy began fiddling around slightly under the quilt with one of her hooves on her marehood to keep herself aroused as she was thinking. Moments of silence passed. When Derpy accidentally pressed her hoof down on herself too hard she felt an unexpected twitch through her body. The twitch made her nudge Shine's still throbbing member since he as well tried to keep up this delicate mood. The nudge was barely noticeable for either of the ponies but it was enough for Derpy to make up her mind when she suddenly locked lips with Shine and just exchanged saliva with the stallion for a brief moment. - I take it you've made a decision, right? Shine whispered as he licked up some drool trying to sneak it's way down Derpy's lower lip. - Y-yes, I guess so. Derpy's reply sounded slightly nervous. For the first time this night Derpy actually was feeling quite nervous as she tried to think of a way to express her request. - I-i'd like you to, well... to... After a few seconds of awkward silence she turned to lie on her belly and buried her blushing face in the sweat-soaked pillow she had flattened multiple times already. - I'm sorry Shine, I just can't say it. I mean, this is not the most normal thing to talk about, and... Shine pat Derpy on her back to try to calm the rambling mare. He crept closer to her so that he could lightly massage her on her back with his entire foreleg. This quieted down the slightly trembling mare as Shine whispered softly in her ear. - Calm down, Derpies. He pressed his muzzle to the side of her head and continued his whispering. - You don't have to say it out directly. Just, gimme a hint and I'll see what I can do. Derpy turned her head and looked at Shine with slightly teary eyes and a warm smile. - Well... to tell the truth... ehm... Derpy clutched her eyes shut, indecisive on what she should say. A tear had managed to form and was marching down from the corner of her left eye. It was halted by Shine who used his hoof to wiped it away. This caught her attention as she opened up her eyes to face the most heartfelt, understanding eyes she had ever seen. He slowly kissed her on her muzzle and leaned in closer than he already was and whispered yet again. - It's OK if this feels weird, take your time. I'm not going anywhere. Shine resumed the massaging but slowly ventured just a little bit further down her back where her wings were and pressed his hoof down in-between the wings a little harder than before. As he gave her left wing an oh-so gentle tug, Derpy let out a relaxed sigh, letting Shine know she was calm once again. - There we go, feeling better yet? - Yes, Shiny. I feel much better now, thank you. Derpy sighed again while mumbling over what she was going to say. After a few moments she took a deep breath and locked eyes with Shine. - You know... I've always sorta dreamed of how... how it would feel to get... uhm.. t-to get... Derpy blushed again at how silly she thought she sounded, stuttering like this. She mulled it over for a split second and started over. - I've always wondered how it would feel like when a stallion... you know...wh-when a s-s-stallion is.. - Riding you? Humping you? Or just downright rudely banging you? Realizing Shine had finished her sentence correctly, she buried her blushing tomato-red face again in her pillow but managed to force a muffled ''Yes''. She gasped loudly as she raised her head to catch her breath. She gently put her head down on the pillow again and looked at Shine with her eyes glittering like never before. - Yes... all of the above. You must have been with countless mares before me to be able to tell that easily. Shine chuckled for a bit before he returned the look he received from Derpy, his eyes glittering just as much as hers. - Heh... truth is, this is my first time. I'm just well read. How 'bout you? - Eh... same here. I am just so surprised I haven't messed up anything like I always do. I'm such a klutz and... Shine silenced her with a passionate kiss on her mouth. - Hush now... your not a klutz. Shine gently stroke Derpy's mane, all the way from her forehead down her back . - But, uhm... there is one thing however that I'm feeling major concern about if I fulfill this whole thing. - What? Have I done something wrong after all? Please tell me what it is, I promise I will make up for it. Shine silently thought to himself for a little while before he placed a hoof on Derpy's cheek with a concerned look on his face. - It's nothing you've done, rest assured. But what we are about to do has it's risks and... well... Shine quickly shook his head. - Ugh... fine, I'll just say it out loud, I want to do this, I really do, but I don't wanna take the risk of making you pregnant. I'm not stallion, or man, enough for that massive amount of responsibility. I mean, I can hardly take care of... This time, it was Derpy who silenced Shine with a long-sustained, passionate kiss. As she eventually broke the kiss, she looked into Shine's eyes with a very confident, reassuring look. - Don't worry your handsome head about that, Shiny. I won't get pregnant, trust me. - Are you absolutely sure? Derpy confidently nodded and pat Shine on his head, just at the base of his horn which still was feeling a little bit sticky. - I AM sure, trust me on this. Shine returned a slow nod as he quickly mulled over what should happen next. Shine slowly sat up while looking at the mare lying before him as if he was examining her. - Well then. There's multiple ways we can do this; Either you can lie still as you are. Or you can turn around and lie on your back OR we could... - I-I think this is perfect. Derpy exclaimed, purposely interrupting Shine. - OK then, uhm, c-could you please stand on your hind legs, it'd be a lot easier for me to, uhm... aim. Shine was starting to feel nervousness building up, causing his hooves to tremble slightly. With a giggle, Derpy did as she was told and rose her flanks to a standing position while her torso still was trying to lie down. As Shine quickly made a little jump behind Derpy, he froze, staring at Derpy's exposed genital. His brain ordered him to move but his body wouldn't budge. Seeing anatomical pictures in a book was one thing, seeing it in real life was an experience of its own. Feeling the embarrassment of looking at another's precious parts made Shine feel like his brain shut down, haltering all movement, silencing all speech, swatting all his thoughts. - Well, Shine, are you gonna start anytime soon? Derpy happily coed as she tried looking back to see what was happening. - Huh? What? Oh! Yeah, right away, my bad. Shine replied in a daze, finally managing to move. He gently placed his front hooves on Derpy's flanks, slowly moving closer, aiming for Derpy's crotch with his own. As his body slammed against Derpy's back without the desired sensation, Shine realized he missed his target. - Oops! Shine whispered to himself has he backed up to his starting position. Slower than before, he went for another approach. He swiftly slid his left hoof under Derpy's stomach to more easily set his desired altitude. Spot on! He managed to hit the tip of his member right in-between Derpy's private parts causing both him and Derpy to moan in concert. Wiping the sweat from his eyes, he looked down at the blonde tail wagging back and forth, tickling him on his chest. - A-alright then, all set. Are you now sure this is what you want. I-i doubt I'll be able to stop myself once I start. - Yes, please! Go for it, Mr.Hero. Derpy coed with an almost childish tone. Shine tried pushing his hips forward, but with little result. With all the conflicting feelings blurring his mind, he began leaning forward, seeing the only way to continue what he started without ruining it. His limb slowly slid inside Derpy with a slick sound. Desire like no other began building up inside of him. He knew the basics of the desire. The primitive desire for the opposite gender's genital. This time, however, it was so much stronger, skyrocketing through the roof of all possible measuring charts. He began feeling the purest form of greed tickling his brain as he shoved in the last inch of his length into the mare gasping beneath him. Coming to a standstill with his third hind leg inside a mare, Shine felt a pinch of panic as the greed within him wanted more of the lust-empowered emotions he felt. Ignoring the pleads for him to continue from Derpy, Shine only sought to satisfy his own selfish appeals. He withdrew his length from her, humming loudly from all the friction on his stiff limb. He instinctively aimed back at her and thrust his limb into her again, this time as hard as he could. The two ponies moaned and gasped almost in perfect sync with each other as the act progressed. Shine was no longer standing behind Derpy, more like lying on top her, still standing on his own legs. He continued thrusting with a rhythmic motion with his hips as seemingly limitless pleasure and desire flooded his mind. He felt his throbbing limb soften up slightly, still being stiff at the core as a massive orgasm soon would see it's dawn. Shine gently nibbled Derpy in the skin of the neck before he tried whispering in her right ear. - Hnnngh... Derp... Derpy... it's time... time for... gah... heh... for the finale... b-brace youself! - Ngaaah! Aah! Mmmhh... What...? Oh! Derpy didn't react to Shine's words as she, too ,was lost in a daze from the intoxicating lust they shared. Shine gathered all his strength to give it all in this final push, causing them both to simultaneously reached their climax. They screamed at the top of their lungs at the same time when their fluids welled out of their bodies, creating one big nasty mess on the bed sheets. Derpy collapsed as her body was drained of both liquids and energy. Shine, still inside of her, leaned to the left, causing them both to tip over to their side. Shine, being drained of energy as well, didn't bother to withdraw his limb but instead hugged Derpy tightly and buried his face in the blonde ocean that was Derpy's mane as they both drifted off to the land of dreams where they spent the rest of the few remaining hours of this almost magical night. ''Oh, thy mare wielding blonde and grey Tell me if you would agree to say That ponies complain about your eyes but that is what our hearts together ties'' THE END
