It was a simple day in Ponyville. Simple school, simple work, simple studies. The fillies and colts carried on, talking there hearts out as they usually would. Some were to the edge of there chairs, talking to the others beside them, and the others were finishing homework they had forgotten to do the night before. Then, a simple hoofstep came into the room. One of the talking students noticed the step, and pointed, silencing the class. The mare had put her other hoof in, continuing to walk in. She watched the class, while walking towards her desk.

“Well my little ponies, you all seem set and ready to go.”

“Yes Mrs.Cheeralee” Said the whole class in unison.

“Now, you may all know that tomorrow is the upcoming visit to Canterlot, Where a wedding will be held for not only a Princess, but the Captain of the Royal Guards.” Cheeralee said in high delight.

The children nodded, trying to hide the happy expressions in there faces. Cheeralee took out a box filled with names of the ponies in the class, and showed it to the class.

“So I shell pick some names out of this box to determine which one of you 3 students will take part in this wonderful occasion!”

The class tried not to cheer, but they smiled widely.

Cheeralee put down the box and stuck her hoof into the box while looking up to the ceiling. “The first student is…” Cheeralee picked out a piece of paper and looked at it “Sweetiebelle!”

“YES!” Sweetie called out, jumping out of her chair but quickly sitting back down when she realized the class was starring at her.

Cheeralee gave Sweetiebelle a quick sour look, then looked back up again, putting her hoof back into the box. “The next student is… Applebloom!”

Applebloom didn’t see her name coming, but she looked around at the students looking over at her, and just gave a quick, simple smile.

And finally, it was time for the last student to be picked. Cheeralee looked up once more, moving her hoof around in the box slowly. She finally picked out the name, and looked at quickly.

“Scootaloo!”

“What?! No! No, no, no, no, NO! I can’t! I can’t be found wearing a dress! It’s to girly! Could you pick a different name? Please Cheeralee?”

Diamond Tiara laughed and teasingly said: “Ah, come on Scootaloo. Rules ARE rules, aren’t they, Cheeralee?”

“Diamond Tiara is right Scootaloo. You should be honored to be apart of a Royal Canterlot wedding.”

Scootaloo sighed and put her head down. “Ffffffinee..”

“Now children, why don’t we begin our class?” Cheeralee said while putting the box down, back behind her desk. The rest of the class groaned, and reached into there desk to pull out there notebooks.

Later that day, at Sweet Apple Acers, Applebloom and Applejack were working the farm, Applejack was bucking trees while Applebloom went around, catching them with a large, wooden bucket.

“Can ya’ believe it sis?!” Applebloom said excitingly. “We’re gonna to be apart of ah Royal Weddin’!”

“Ya’ll sure certain we are!” Applejack said while energetically bucking a tree.

“And yer going to! Ah can’t believe Twi’s big bro is the Captin of the Royal Guards! Why did ya never tell me sis?” Applebloom caught the bunch of apples that had just fallen with the basket on her back.

“Ah didn’t know eitha’ sis. Ah actually just found out Twi has a bro in the first place.”

“Oh! And me, Sweetie, and Scoots got picked also!” Applebloom ran over to where she would put the full buckets and rose her back, tossing the bucket neatly into the spot, and bent down to pick another bucket, pushing the empty bucket onto her back and swiftly runs back to where Applejack was.

“Maybe yall’ get your Cutie marks for a wedding. Ya’ll should decorate, Sweetie should sing, and Scoot should dan-

“Nah!” Applebloom interrupted. “Were sticking to what we’ did for tha talent show! Ya can’t say ma dance moves aint impressive!” Applebloom put down the bucket and got on her front hooves, then bucked back and fourth.

Applejack stopped bucking the trees and cringed. “Ah, sis.. May-“

“Huh?” Applebloom said with her cute filly eyes.

“Nevamind..” Applejack bucked another tree.

Applebloom looked up at the sun and gasped. “Ah! I gotta go sis! I’m meetin the other Crusaders at the clubhouse!” She dropped the bucket and ran into the orchard.

“Wait! Apple-“ An apple hit Applejack on the head. “Bloom…” Applejack looked over at the rest of the trees and walked towards the buckets with her ears flattened.

Meanwhile, out at Rarity’s boutique, Rarity was designing the dress for Cadance in advance, and trying to put up with Sweetiebelles obsessive talking.

“Rarity, can’t you believe that I’m apart of a wedding! Just like I thought! I knew I would get picked! This is gonna be so much fun!”

“Sweetie.. Mind keeping it down abit? I’m trying to work profession!” Rarity said delightedly while levitating a measurer.

“Come on sis! You know you’re excited to! This is once in a lifetime! And this time, I could even get my cutie mark for decorating!” Sweetie fell to her haunches and put her hoof on her cheeks. “Actually.. I wonder why I didn’t get it last time..”

Rarity stopped her magic and the measurer she was levitating fell to the ground. “Honestly Sweetie.. I don’t get how you think decorating is your special gift.. She lifted the measurer again and walked over to her desk.

“Because I wanna be just like you! A famous designer!” Sweetie jumped up.

Rarity put the measurer down and levitated a flower tiara. She walked back towards the manikin “Sweetie.. Don’t you have someplace to be?”

Sweetie groaned then remembered she was going to meet Applebloom and Scootaloo at the clubhouse. “Oh! I do!” Sweetie bit onto the strap of her saddle bag and ran out the room. “Bye sis!” Sweetiebelle yelled before leaving the room.

Rarity let out a sigh of relief, and looked back at the manikin. “Oh Sweetie, can you-“ She looked at where Sweetie should be, then realized she left. She sighed and tried to fit the tiara on.

Applebloom ran up the stairs to there clubhouse, and galloped through the entrance playfully. The moment she walked in she spotted Scootaloo, writing something down on a piece of paper.

“Howdy Scoot!” Applebloom said, running towards her friend. “Watchya doin?” She settled herself down next to Scootaloo, and tried peeking over her shoulder.

“I’m writing down the song I’m singing for the afterparty!” Scootaloo slid the paper in front of her friend, showing her what she had written down.

“Two ponies become a whole...” Applebloom read excitedly. “…Ah learned tha’ as a foal.. in a hole..?” Applebloom looked over at Scootaloo strangely.

“Ya like it? I came here right after-school to write it!” The orange peagsus said, lifting her hoof proudly.

“Ah love it..” The young cowpony said strangely. “Wai, ya didn’t go to see Rainbow Dash?”

Scootaloo pulled the paper back with her hoof and picked up a pencil with her mouth. “Nah, I wanna keep what a Sonic Rainboom looks like a secret! It’s no fun if ya know whats gonna happen right off the bat!” The filly wrote more lyrics on the paper, as Sweetiebelle walked in the clubhouse.

“Hey girls! Ready for some Cutie Mark wedding ideas?!” Sweetie spat out her saddlebag, and hopped over to her too other friends. She noticed Scootaloo writing, automatically assuming that she was writing a song. “Uh, you need any help Scootaloo?”

“Nah! I don’t need any help this time. Cause I’m gonna write the BEST song for the BEST weddin!”

Sweetie peeked over at Applebloom, and she peeked back. They both smiled, trying to conceal there laughter. “SO!” Scootaloo yelled out, frightening the two fillies to look back at her. “What did you guys get done?”

“Oh!” Sweetie ran to her saddlebag and pulled out a multicolored bucay of flowers. The flowers had all looked like they had just died, or just all together, came with grey leaves, and roots coming out of where the petals should be.

Applebloom looked over Scootaloo, and her eyes died at the sight of the flowers. “Oh, uh..”

Sweetie ran over to Applebloom and Scootaloo. “Do you girls like it? I picked them along the entrance of the Everfree forest!” The white Unicorn inhaled the scent of the dead flowers.

Scootaloo looked up at the scent of the flowers, and waved the pencil in front of her nose. “Sweetie, what is t-“

Applebloom elbowed Scootaloo, causing her to shush up. “Those arh great an all Sweetie.. But maybe when we’ get to Canter’lot, weh can pick even more grea’ flowers.”

Sweetiebelle nodded. “Good call Applebloom.” She threw the bucay onto her Saddlebag, and it attracted flies who flew threw the entrance and circled around it.

Scootaloo lifted her head from the paper and looked over to Applebloom, “Hey Applebloom, how’s your dance moves going?”

“Oh! Good question!” She rushed over to the music player and put on music. She ran back near the other two. Scootaloo got up and took a hoofstep back, as well as Sweetie. Applebloom jumped up and down, kicking her upper hooves and lower hooves back and fourth, than got back on the ground, hopping not very high off the ground, back and fourth. She got on her two back hooves and twirled around once, causing her to lose her balance, making her collapes over onto the radio, and stop the music from playing.

Her friends gasped and ran towards her. “Are you okay Applebloom?” Her friends said curiously.

“Oh, I’m fine.” She coughed out some dust and scraped some off of her hoof. “Just need abit more practicing.

Sweetie covered her mouth, quietly laughing and Scootaloo walked closer to the dusty unicorn, and put her hoof out to help her out. “Maybe I should show you afew dance moves that might help you a bit.”

Applebloom took her friends hoof, and pulled herself up. “Thanks Scoot.” Applebloom smiled, and coughed once again. “Maybeh ill be better by the time I get there.” She said teasing herself.

Sweetie then got an idea and dived over to the pencil and paper. Her friends followed her confusingly. “What chu drawing Sweetie?” Scootaloo said, walked closer.

She picked up the pencil “I’m writing down my cutie mark for decorating! Maybe it’ll be wedding bells!” She finished drawing and showed a drawing of three wedding bells.

“Oh! Ill draw my cutie mark too!” Scootaloo called out, taking another paper from the pile and another pencil.

“Meh too!” Applebloom jumped next to Scootaloo, and sat down, grabbing a paper and nosing over a pencil for herself.

Scootaloo drew a microphone with a wire, surrounded with yellow spotlight, and Applebloom drew a black tap shoe, with white sparks on the ground. The rest of the day, the fillies drew ideas of what there flanks would look like after the wedding.

Later that day, when Luna’s beautiful moon arose, Sweetiebelle was talking to her sister, who vowed to work all night on Princess Cadances dress.

“HEY SIS!” Sweetie called out to her sister who was sleeping on the back of her manikin. Sweetiebelle groaned and yelled out again. “BIG SISTER!!!”

Rarity immadently raised her head off, hitting the chin of the manikin. “HUH!?” She looked at the manikin. “Did I oversleep?!” She ran over to the window “What time is it?!” She ran over to Sweetie, and lifted her up “WHENS THE WEDDING?!?!?!”

Sweetie looked down at her sister “Uh, were going to Canterlot tomorrow… The weddings in two days.”

“Oh.. Yes, right…” Rarity said embarrassingly. “Ahem.. I must be working on my dress now…” Rarity lifted her chin up and levitated some ribbon and succors. “We shall never speak of this again.”

Sweetie walked over to her room. "Well.. See ya in the morning...." She slowly shuffled out akwardly, and walked into her room, locking the door tightly. She put down her saddle bag and opened it up to reveal a diary.
