The rangers and ponies are skeptical when Steel says he’s found clues that proves that an old enemy may have returned.
Following the defeat of Evox, Earth and Equestria are safe once more with new Morph-X towers being built, and the rangers are developing new ranger tech. Also, with Rarity expecting Twilight's arrival for her new dress, Starlight and Spike decide to make a magical scrapbook to surprise Twilight at her coronation. However, all may not be well yet. Steel has found some clues that an old foe the Mane Six had defeated a long time ago may have returned, and the rangers and their friends are skeptical about all this. But, when a disturbance happens nearby, the rangers, Starlight, Spike and Rarity will have to get back together to take on a threat that is old news to Equestria, but new to the rangers! This could lead to a new battle that no one had ever expected, as the heroes not only cross paths with this villain, but Rarity and her friends reminisce about their past moments of generosity.
Continuity: Beast Morphers - Takes place during the season 2 opener, "Believe It Or Not." My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic - A rewrite of the season 10 opener, "A-Dressing Memories," so most of this will probably not be canon.

The Power Rangers Beast Morphers, are a team of rangers who got their powers from both Morphin' Grid energy and animal DNA. They have been tasked to stop an evil cyber villain named Evox, who wanted the power of the grid all for himself. Evox created avatars of Blaze and Roxy and forced a robot named Scrozzle to work for him, and they tried to steal amounts of Morph-X, but the rangers were always one step ahead of him.
However, Blaze and Roxy decided to add more villains to the cyber snake's legion. So, they enlisted Grogar, Queen Chrysalis, Lord Tirek, King Sombra, & Cozy Glow...5 villains Equestria despised the most. The legion was a formidable resistance for the rangers, but they too had their own backup. Upon meeting the soon-to-be ruler of Equestria, Princess Twilight Sparkle along with her friends, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Starlight Glimmer and Twilight's no. #1 assistant, Spike, they were a powerful fighting force as they destroyed any robotron, and villain that stood in their way together.
With their combined powers, the Mane Six, and the rangers took down the legion one by one. Their team got stronger when Cozy Glow, defected to the good side, upon realizing that she had friends in both those universes. They gave Evox the final blow, destroying him and his cyber dimension. Steel even teamed up with Twilight's student from the future, Luster Dawn, to take down Scrozzle, showing that their friendship was strong and their most powerful weapon. Luster even became the pink ranger in the process.
Now, it is the year 2020. Months have passed since the destruction of Evox and his legion, as well as the apparent death of Scrozzle, and new Morph-X towers were being built with Mayor Daniels now taking the flow of Morph-X to international borders.
At Riptide Gym, Devon Daniels...the red Power Ranger...was sparring it out with Blaze not as enemies, but now as friends. The two were using planks to spar, as they were unleashing their new karate moves. They got ready to spar again, this time they gave it their all as they tried to get to one another, and it looked like it would be evenly matched. However, Blaze used his advantage to knock Devon down fair and square. Blaze helped him back up.
"You got me that time." Devon said to him. "The avatar never could have done that."
Blaze just scoffed calmly. "Dude! Those fighting tips worked really well. You're a great teacher, Devon."
"And, you're a great friend." Devon added to the compliment. Just then, they saw the news report with Mayor Daniels about the new Morph-X towers.
"Due to its success in Coral Harbor, the whole world is embracing Morph-X technology." he said on the screen. "France's new Morph-X tower will bring unlimited energy to Paris." Blaze patted Devon nicely as the annoucement went on. "It's just the latest addition to our growing network that will soon circle the globe."
"Another tower." Devon said, smiling in amazement. "It's really happening."
"All thanks to your team." Blaze said to him.
At Grid Battleforce, in the lab, Zoey and Nate...the gold and yellow Power Rangers...were watching the update as well. "With the threat of Evox gone, It's my honor to help the world achieve clean energy...one tower at a time." The Mayor announced happily.
Elsewhere at a park, Ravi Shaw...the blue Power Ranger...and Roxy were watching the update too. "Earth will be greener and more peaceful than ever..." he continued. "Thanks to Grid Battleforce, the Elements of Harmony & the Power Rangers."
Ravi and Roxy were both enjoying their picnic together, when Ravi, himself got a contact. "Sorry, Roxy." He said. "But, I've got ranger training."
"Oh, no problem." She said. "I'll see you later." Ravi kissed her on the cheek and got ready to head back to Grid Battleforce to prepare for training.
Meanwhile in Equestria, Starlight Glimmer...Twilight Sparkle's former pupil, sister-figure, and current headmare of the School of Friendship...along with Spike...Twilight's No. #1 assistant and Royal Advisor, as well...were on their way to Carousel Boutique to see Rarity. Carrying with them, was a blank scrapbook.
"You sure we can collect enough memories of Twilight's friends to gather in the scrapbook so we can give it to her for her coronation?" Spike asked.
"I'm sure we will!" Starlight said, as she pets Spike carefully on the head. "Besides, Twilight's coronation is coming up, and we want to give her something to remember." She remembered her moments with Twilight when she was just her student, and even her recent memories of her fighting alongside the Power Rangers as they took down Evox. "Also, I recently heard that Devon was telling me about how his dad is opening new Morph-X towers around the world! Ooh! I wonder how Devon and his team are doing?"
"Me too." Spike said. "It's been a long time since we last saw them...with Evox showing up and all."
"I bet knowing them, I bet we'll find out soon enough." Starlight said in reassurance. "Maybe, we could get some memories of them in there as well!"
"I bet we will." Spike said. They reached Carousel Boutique in no time, and Spike knocked on the door. They looked at each other, wondering if their friend was available.
Elsewhere on Earth, a familiar-looking mantis and scarab beast bot was taking a trek through the woods, enjoying the sights. He then suddenly saw a fish-shaped log move about, like it was nervous or something. The Beast Bot felt that something about him seemed familiar, but couldn't quite place his finger on it.
He continued his trek through the woods and nearby one of the new Morph-X towers that was recently rebuilt. He then noticed a crack from the tower and went for a closer look. He saw that some of the Morph-X wasn't there. "Hmmmm..." he wondered out loud. "Did I just see what I thought I saw?" He then saw the trail of energy leading right through the woods. He could then tell that this was urgent and that he needed to go tell the others about his recent discovery.
He went back to Grid Battleforce, and into a nearby room, and collected the evidence he could find. Once he put that together, he knew what he was up against as he felt a chill in his circuits. "I've got a bad feeling about this." he thought as he carried his whiteboard with the evidence towards the training room.
At Grid Battleforce, Zoey, Ravi and Devon were ready to kick off their day of ranger training. "Okay. Time for target practice." Zoey said as she and Ravi got their blasters aimed at some holographic target.
"Beast-X Blast!" They both said as they fired at the targets spot on, and again multiple times with each of them getting 100 points on each of the targets. So far, so good, as they both hi-fived and got ready to blast at the targets some more.
Meanwhile, Ben and Betty Burke both came in and decided to join in on the rangers' training. "Everyone's exercising." Ben said in amusement.
"Yeah." Betty agreed. "What can we do?" She then noticed what was right next to her. "Punching bag! Okay, hold it!"
"Okay." Ben said as he held the bag with all his might.
"Hold it tight." Betty warned.
"Okay. Give it all you got." Ben said jokingly. However, he would wind up eating those words as Betty punched the bag hard, knocking Ben off the bag and into the equipment rack.
"Are you okay?" Betty asked rushing over to him.
"Yeah." Ben said, as he noticed something more safer. "Jump rope." he pointed at it. "Jump rope." Betty nodded as they both walked over there.
Devon was using his cheetah speed to jump over the jump rope, which was going at a pretty decent speed spinning around him. The Burke twins saw and thought it wasn't too bad.
"Y'know, Ben?" Betty said. "This doesn't look so hard."
"Yeah." Ben agreed as he saw Devon on it. "I was thinking the same thing." The two decided to join in on the jump rope as they made their way to either side of Devon, a few feet behind him. "Ready?"
Betty nodded. "Let's go!" They both ran to join in, which made Devon start to lose his timing on the rope, as it also whapped Ben in the face repeatedly. Suddenly, all 3 lost their balance and fell down automatically, as the rope came apart.
Ravi and Zoey took notice and rushed over to them. "No." Devon groaned as he was trying to get up.
"Oh, sorry." Betty apologized as she and Ben were trying to get up as well.
Ravi and Zoey untied them and helped them up. "You guys okay?" Ravi asked.
"Yeah, we are!" Betty said, as Ben stammered. "Let's go, Ben!' The two rushed out of the training room, while Nate came in, carrying a new red blaster to show his teammates.
"Hey, Everyone!" Nate said as he came in.
"Hey, Nate!" Ravi said. "Where's Steel? It's not like him to miss training."
"I haven't seen him today." Nate said. "I've been pretty busy. Zoey's been helping me work on this project." He took the glass case off to reveal the new red blaster. "Check it out! I've decided to call this the Beast-X Ultra Blaster. Want to try it out?"
"Sure." Ravi said, as Nate took the blaster out of the case and handed it to him.
"It's not only more powerful than your Beast-X Blasters, but it's also got rapid fire." Nate said excitedly. Just in case anyone tries to come after our Morph-X again."
"Let's give it a try." Ravi said as he carefully aimed the blaster at one of the holographic targets. The blaster revved up and fired at the targets rapidly. So far, smooth sailing. Suddenly, Ravi couldn't hold it still as the blaster fired everywhere on the target practice wall. "Uh, Nate?" All three rangers had to hold him, and stop the blaster from firing rapidly.
"Sorry." Nate said as he took the Ultra blaster. "Just a small stabilizer malfunction?"
"Small??" Ravi asked as he pointed to the almost decimated target wall. "That's an understatement!"
"It's got the power you want." Zoey said, trying to stay positive.
"Yeah." Devon said in response to what Ravi said. "I'd hate to be that wall."
Just then, they all heard a voice that did not go unnoticed. "GUYS!" It was Steel, the silver ranger, and he was carrying a whiteboard with pictures, paper, and some magnets. "I have an urgent announcement!" he said seriously. "It's very bad news! The Storm King is back!"
"What?" Ravi asked in alarm.
"The Storm King is back?" Devon asked as well.
"How do you know?" Nate asked as well.
"Once you look at the evidence, it's obvious!" Steel said as he revealed the evidence shown on the whiteboard. "Listen! I've been doing the research for weeks, now! I've found some pretty troubling stuff!" The board showed various evidence, including the Loch Ness Monster, underground lizard people, the Storm King's symbol, the airships he used (from My Little Pony: The Movie), and a picture of the Staff of Saranas...his own personal weapon.
The others were a little confused at where this was going. "Look, I know it's a lot to take in." Steel continued. "Even I was at a loss for words."
Zoey came to the whiteboard and was unsure about this information. She took a news article of a Morph-X tower off. "So...this is your evidence?" She asked.
"Precisely!" Steel answered, as he held the article for all to see. "Exhibit A! Remember that Morph-X tower spill in Sector LIMA-3-2?" They nodded. "It's all cleaned up! I checked the logs! No cleanup crews were EVER assigned! That's 100 tons of Morph-X unaccounted for!" He stated firmly. "It must have been stolen!"
"No. No. No." Devon said as he took the article. "I think you're confusing the Storm King with Evox. And, my dad said it was taken care of. He's the mayor. He'd know."
"Even mayors can make mistakes, Devon." Steel said, ignoring what he just said. "We HAVE to investigate!"
"Steel, Evox is gone. We destroyed him." Nate reassured him. "And as for the Storm King, Twilight told us, that she and her friends stopped him. You were there when they helped us stop Evox."
He went to the whiteboard and was quite surprised and confused by what he saw. "Underground lizard people? Giant airships? These are ridiculous." He tried to tell him.
"I don't know." Zoey said. "Some of those things seem kinda legit...but you can't get obsessed!"
"I'm NOT obsessed!" Steel tried to say. "I'm sure I'm right!"
"You need to have proof." Ravi pointed out.
"Enough with the conspiracy theories." Devon agreed with Ravi.
"No, I'm not." Devon said to him calmly. "My dad's back in town, it's been ages and I can't wait to see him."
"That's enough training for today." Ravi suggested. Steel threw up his hands in exasperation. He couldn't believe that his teammates wouldn't believe him over something like this.
He looked at the whiteboard and took off a picture of a fish silhouette. He got an idea. "I think I know just what to do." He thought out loud.
"You guys go. I've gotta get the stabilizer fixed." Nate said as he inspected the Ultra Blaster. "It's going to take a while."
"I have a suggestion for tomorrow's training!" Steel suggested. "How about a run through the woods?"
The others thought that sounded like a good idea. "Sounds good." Nate said as Ravi nodded.
"Yeah." Devon agreed as well. "Some fresh air would be nice."
"Fantastic!" Steel said as his friends left the training room. "See you in the morning, then!"
"Bye, Steel." Zoey said as she left.
Steel nodded and looked at the picture again. "I will get to the bottom of this." He thought. "And, while I'm at it, I think I'd better tell, Twilight. I think she deserves to know about this. And, I haven't visited Equestria for a while, so now's a great time to do just that." Steel held onto the photo as he walked over to Nate's lab.
He found the trans-dimensional teleporter and turned it on. He put in the coordinates to Equestria. "I think that should do it." the Beast Bot thought, as the portal opened. "Equestria, here I come!" He stepped through the portal to make his way to find one of his closest friends from that world, Princess Twilight Sparkle, and tell her about the incoming news. Equestria was his next target.
(In the Mane 6's world, in PonyVille...) Spike and Starlight Gimmer arrived at Carousel Boutique in no time, and Spike knocked on the door. They looked at each other, wondering if their friend was available. They both came in.
"Uh, Rarity?" Spike as he and Starlight came in. "Starlight and I kinda need your help."
Rarity was working on a dress and was right in the middle of finishing it as they came in. "Ooh, uh, I'm afraid I can't just now." She said. "Twilight will be here any moment for her fitting."
"That's why we're here." Starlight said, confidently. "Spike and I are putting together something special for the coronation."
"Darling, we're all putting together something for the coronation." Rarity said blithely to her. "Be thankful you're not doing the gown. This is my 14th version!"
"This is different." Spike said, as he held a box out. "It's from all of us. And it's kind of about all of us, too."
Starlight opened the box to show a blank scrapbook and rolled through the pages to show Rarity. "I combined some ancient spells to make a magical scrapbook, and now all we need is some memories to go inside." She said to him.
"That way, Twilight can have a collection of memories to look at any time she wants." Spike added. "All we need you to do is—"
He was cut off by a knock on the door, which got everyone's attention inside the boutique. "Hello?" The voice said. "Is anyone there? I have something important I want to tell you."
"Aah!" Starlight said nervously, as she turned to Rarity. "Did we mention we want it to be a surprise?!"
Rarity gasped as she now realized why they wanted her help at creating the scrapbook. "Oh, no you didn't!" she said. "Surely, I've love to help you."
"Great!" Spike said, as she opened the curtain to a supply room for them to hide and contain the memories. "We want to be sure to get some of Twilight's own memories, so just get her talking about old times with you."
"I'll do the rest." Starlight added.
"We get it, Starlight." Rarity said bluntly. "You're good at magic." She closed the curtain to the supply room as her friends went inside. She then answered the door, and saw a silver/gold beetle beast bot.
She recognized him instantly. "Steel!" Rarity said in surprise. "I didn't expect to see you here. What a surprise!"
"Rarity!" The beast bot said to her urgently. "I have an important message for Twilight! Is she here?" He looked around for her.
"Oh, I don't think she's here, Darling." The fashionista told him. "But, she'll be coming here later for her dress fitting."
"Oh. Okay." Steel said, understanding. He took a look at the new dress. "That looks like a great dress!" he said in astonishment. "But, are you sure this fitting is necessary? I don't think Twilight's sizes have changed."
Rarity scoffed. "Darling! The perfect fit is imperative!" She said to him. "And as for my time, well, I am far from the most generous pony in Equestria."
"Actually, that's exactly what you are." Steel said to her kindly. "And, that is what you still are today! Though, I have a question...how did you realize you were the element of Generosity?"
"Oh, that's a long story." Rarity said as she tried to remember. "I remember when I was with Twilight and the others for the first time, like it was yesterday."
In the supply room, Spike and Starlight got the memories collected in the scrapbook. They both nodded, while Spike gave Rarity the 'Okay' sign.
"Yes, I suppose I've had my generous moments." The fashionista said. "Although I haven't always been perfect."
"Not EVERYBODY'S perfect, Rarity." Steel said to her. "Even people or ponies like you make mistakes every once in a while. Like Ben and Betty do."
Rarity gasped in excitement as she heard those names. "Ben & Betty?!" She squealed. "Oh, you MUST tell me how they're doing!"
"Oh, those two are still working really well in the lab with Nate." Steel said to her excitedly. "However, they can cause some laughs. For example, today, they wriggled in jump rope and the rope whapped Ben in the face, and all 3 of them toppled to the ground."
"Oh dear!" She said in worry. "I hope they're alright."
"Don't worry. They got back up, AND untied from the rope during ranger training." Steel answered as the fashionista joined in giggling. "By the way, Is anyone else here?"
"Uh, not that I know of." Rarity said, giggling nervously. "Why?"
Just then, in the supply room, Spike accidentally closed the book on his claw. "Ow!" He said in pain. Starlight grabbed him as to make sure he wasn't too loud.
"What was that?" Steel asked. Starlight and Spike heard the voice and tried to stay still, and quiet.
"Oh, nothing." Rarity said, trying to draw back his attention. "I just asked that delightful family of raccoons from my shop in Manehattan to help out." She forced out a laugh. "Smoky! Softpad! Careful with the...expensive fabrics!"
"You have raccoons from your shop here?" Steel asked in disbelief.
"Yes, I do." Rarity answered. "Don't you?"
Steel heard some whimpering and decided to check it out. "No! I mean... No, you can't move." Rarity tried to jokingly stop him. There's nothing to see here."
Steel opened the curtain and saw a dragon huddled to a pony in fright. The two were shaking, in fright. Steel tapped Starlight lightly on the shoulder, which made her and Spike scream in fear as they accidentally threw up the scrapbook. Steel reacted quickly as he caught the book closed, and handed it back to her. "You guys okay?" He asked as he handed the scrapbook back.
The two got up and were surprised to see him here. "Steel!" Starlight said, as she and Spike both tried to catch her breath. "You SCARED me and Spike! I thought you were Twilight!"
"Well, Twilight's not here yet. So, you should be fine to come out for now." He said as the two came out of the supply room. "And, what was that you were making that you dropped all of a sudden? Some kind of a book?"
"Oh, that? That's just a magical scrapbook we were trying to create." Starlight said as she revealed the pages with the video memories playing through.
"It's from all of us, Steel." Spike told him. And it's kind of about all of us, too."
"I combined some spells to make a scrapbook filled with memories of Twilight and the others." Starlight explained. "We were just about to add some memories when you showed up."
"So, it's like a scrapbook, but with videos on the pages?" Steel asked. "Phenomenal! I didn't know that your spells could make something like that.
"Yeah. Something like that." Starlight said. "So, is there something you want to tell us? How are Devon and the others doing? I heard his dad was just opening up the new international Morph-X tower! I have so many questions!"
"Oh, right!" The Beast Bot said seriously. "I have bad news! The Storm King is back!"
"What?" Spike asked in alarm.
"The Storm King is back?" Rarity asked as well.
"How do you know?" Starlight asked as well.
"Once you look at what I've brought, you'll see!" Steel said as he revealed the pictures from his whiteboard. "Listen! I've been doing a ton of research I've found some pretty troubling stuff!" "That's EXACTLY what Devon said when I was trying to tell him about this news." Steel pointed out as well.
"And, the Storm King is gone." Spike added as well. "We destroyed him."
"I don't know, Darlings." Rarity said, as she looked at the photos. "Some of those photos seem pretty much true. And, I do think Steel is right on this."
"Yes! FINALLY!" Steel said in relief. "Somepony who believes me!"
"You can't get obsessed about something like the Storm King being back." Starlight pointed out. "He's defeated, and you need proof."
"I'm NOT obsessed!" Steel tried to say.
"I'm sure he's right, Spike." Rarity agreed.
"Enough with all these assumptions." Spike said.
"You're kidding!" Steel said in shock.
"I don't think so." Spike said calmly. "The Storm King is gone. It's been a while since we had a power-hungry villain on our tail."
Steel threw up his hands in exasperation, as Rarity tried to comfort him. "Just like Devon said." he said to her.
"Darling, I know you think that the Storm King's back, and I believe you." She said as she pat him on back lovingly. "You just need more proof. That's all."
Steel then realized something. "That's why I brought this!" he showed her the photo of the silhouetted fish.
Rarity gasped, and knew he was right. "That's Grubber!" She said in shock. "Where on Earth did you find this???"
"I saw him as I was walking through the woods!" Steel replied. "I saw a blur, but it looked like a fish or a blacked-out hedgehog. It's got to be him!"
Rarity gasped again. "You're right!" She said. "We have to do something to convince the others that you're right about all this." She said seriously. "But how?"
The two were thinking about what they could do to prove the beast bot's evidence. Steel came up with an idea. He whispered into Rarity's ear, and she smiled at his idea. It had to work!
"Starlight! Spike!" Rarity called out. "I think we have a suggestion! How about we take a gallop through the woods? Devon and the others will be there."
The two's eyes widened in surprise. "Devon and the others will be there too?" Spike asked.
"Yeah." Rarity said. "I was wondering if you two would like to join us?"
"Y'know, that actually sounds good." Starlight said as Spike nodded.
"I agree with Starlight." Spike added. "A change of pace, and some fresh air would be nice."
"And, I'm pretty sure Twilight won't mind with us being gone for a while." Starlight added as well. "Your dress designs won't be going anywhere."
Rarity and Steel looked at each other and beamed. "Fantastic!" They both said as the other two friends left the boutique. "See you, then!"
"Okay! See you!" Starlight called out as she and Spike both left.
"Bye!" Steel and Rarity both said as they waved. They both nodded in agreement as they looked at the picture again. "We will get to the bottom of this, Steel." Rarity said quietly to him.
"Agreed." Steel said, as they both decided to get ready for their hike. So far the rangers, AND Spike and Starlight were skeptical about the Storm King coming back. But, the Beast Bot and Element of generosity would not give up. They knew something like this was happening. And, when they take them on the hike, they would show their friends the evidence, which would prove that they were right. And sure enough, they would be ready.
Morning finally arrived for the next day of ranger training, and Steel and Rarity had both met up in Sector LIMA-3-2, right by the empty Morph-X tower. Since Steel had told her about the Storm King returning and showing her the picture of a silhouetted Grubber, they both knew it was true. Some of their friends were unsure about all this, but they were going to get to the bottom of this whole mystery. Even if it meant actually showing what was on the picture in real life.
Steel looked around for the rest of his teammates. "Are they there yet?" He asked.
Rarity scanned the section and didn't see anything. "Not yet, Steel." She said.
Steel groaned. "This isn't going to be one of those no-shows where people say they'll show up, and then turn around and actually don't, right?" he asked worriedly.
"I don't think so." Rarity clarified. "I think they'll be along soon, and hey! There's Starlight and Spike! Hey, Darlings! Hey!" She and Steel were waving high up, that Starlight and Spike both noticed and ran over to them.
"Rarity! Steel!" Starlight said as she hugged her friends in excitement. Spike did the same too.
"So great to see you guys!" Spike said as he took in a big sniff of that fresh air, and sighed in relief. "It feels so good to get that fresh air!"
"I would concur with you all." Rarity agreed. "Normally, I would pack a few accessories when I go into the woods. But I'm not camping with Sweetie Belle, and we're just going hiking, so I didn't need to bring anything."
They all shared a little giggle, as they all saw the rest of the rangers coming up to them. "Hey, it's Devon!" Starlight said in excitement, as she and Spike waved their hooves or claws up in the sky. "Hey, you guys! We're over here!"
The others saw and ran over to them, and were even excited to see some of their old friends from Equestria. "Hey, Steel!" Devon said, giving the bot a hi-five. "Rarity! Spike! Starlight!" He said as he saw them. "It's so great to see you guys!"
"How's life in Equestria been doing for you?" Ravi asked.
"We haven't seen you for quite some time!" Zoey added. "And, what an awesome morning!"
"You gotta tell us what's been going on lately." Nate agreed.
"Well Nate, It's been quite a while since our last adventure." Starlight said excited, but calm to him. "I guess we should fill you in on what we've been doing."
Steel and Rarity noticed Starlight hold the scrapbook in her travel bag. "You're bringing the scrapbook for the trip?" Steel asked sarcastically and confused.
"I was thinking about bringing it along, so we could record some more memories as we go." Starlight answered as Spike nodded.
Steel and Rarity both looked at each other and giggled. They probably knew she would do that during the hike.
"Hold on. What's this I hear about memories and a scrapbook?" Ravi asked with curiosity. "What are you trying to make?"
Starlight blushed in slight embarrassment. "Oh, that..." She said. "Well, I think we'd better explain a few things, Spike." He nodded as well.
Rarity whispered to Steel. "They're still skeptical about this?"
"They still are about the missing Morph-X AND the Storm King." He whispered back.
"Then, we've gotta try to convince them by showing them what you SAW in the woods. We're going to get to the bottom of this!" She said back, as the bot nodded.
"Well, anyways, we're all here. So why don't we start our walk?" Spike asked.
"Good idea." Ravi said. They all started their walk through the woods.
Devon quickly noticed the tower as they started their hike. "Hey, isn't that the LIMA-3-2 tower that leaked?" He asked.
"Indeed it is!" Rarity said. "Very observant Devon."
"Let's go!" Starlight said, as they all headed into the woods a little faster, while Steel and Rarity decided to take it slow.
As they were walking, they all noticed some nice plants and trees in the woods. Well, the 'take-it-slow' participants were. The others were enjoying running briskly.
Steel was pretend breathing in the fresh air during his walk. "Wow! This is fantastic!" He said in excitement. "Have you ever been on a hike like this?"
"Well, actually, I have, Darling." Rarity admitted. "It has been a little hard for my first trek in the woods, since it was also my first time camping." She looked up and recalled another memory.
"Ah yes." Steel said, as he was listening. I can imagine a moment like that." Steel added. "Y'know, I just realized...Nate and I never WENT camping!"
"What?" She asked. "You two NEVER WENT CAMPING?! THAT'S utterly dreadful!"
"Well, Nate said robots don't usually camp out." Steel admitted. "He says they usually stay at Grid Battleforce and charge up."
"Well, Nate just doesn't know how important bonding trips like camping can actually be." Rarity scoffed at Nate's belief.
"At least you do." The Beast Bot said.
"Yes, and Twilight and the others have taken me for many trips like camping." the Element of Generosity added. "Including right by the Tree of Harmony, and even to Winsome Falls."
"Y'know, I should ask Nate if he wants to go camping...no ifs, ands, or buts about it." Steel said.
"I'd bet he'd like camping with you and enjoy some actual brother-bonding time together." Rarity added. "It may have been hectic the last few times I was in the woods, but this time, we can actually enjoy looking at the trees and plants."
They saw the others running and they both nodded. "Hold up, guys!" Steel called out. "I think it's time for a break."
"Sounds good." Ravi said as he was looking at the nature scene unfold. "Man. Look at this scenery."
Rarity got out the picture. "Guys, check this out!" she said, as she shown it to them. "Does this creature look familiar?"
"Um...not really." Nate said, unsure.
"Okay, Devon! Spike! What about you two?" Steel asked as he showed them the photo.
"Uh, what creature?" Spike asked.
"You mean that blurry shape?" Devon asked, pointing to it.
"Really?" Steel asked in shock. "Clearly, it's the Storm King's right-hand man, Grubber!"
Everyone except the generosity element and beast bot groaned in exasperation.
"Not this again." Starlight said as she facehoofed.
"It was taken here two days ago!" Steel noted. "I found it online, so it must be true!"
"Online?" Rarity asked quizzically.
"That's why you brought us here???" Zoey asked.
"Maybe..." Steel said slowly.
"Enough is enough, Steel!" Spike said serious. "This Storm King sighting is going way too far!"
"Spike's right. Stop this already!" Ravi said as well. "Grubber was defeated by Twilight many years ago."
"Ravi, Darling!" Rarity said, feeling demeaned. "I actually DO have to agree with Steel on this one."
Nate groaned. "Don't tell us you actually believe him, do you?" he asked.
"I do!" she pointed out. "This picture clearly states that Steel is onto something!"
"I think this is your 'Grubber'." Devon said, as he went to what looked like a tree stump in the shape of him, and uncovered the moss off the stump. "It just got overgrown."
The two were shocked as the others gave them looks of frustration. "Impossible!" Steel protested. "Listen! There's gotta be some other clues!"
"Like footprints!" Rarity said, pointing to one in the ground. "You can't deny who made those! One never lies, Darlings!"
"Those are your's and Steel's footprints, Rarity!" Starlight said, pointing at the prints and their feet, which were getting dirty from all the walking.
"Oh, well so maybe they do show a little bit of resemblance." Rarity started. "But..."
"No buts!" Nate cut her off. "You two can't go around making wild claims without any proof!"
"Okay, fine!" Steel said as he walked off furiously. "I'll do this myself!" He walked off to a different part of the woods.
"Come on, Steel! Where are you going?" Spike asked.
"To find proof!" He shouted. "Since you all seem to love it so much!" He continued to walk away in rage.
"Steel, don't go!" Zoey called out, but it was too late as he was already gone.
"Steel, wait!" Rarity said, as she tried to get the Beast Bot's attention. But he kept walking away. Rarity saw him walking with teary eyes, she then shifted to anger as she turned to face the rest of them. "What is the matter with all of you?! Don't you clearly know the truth as it is RIGHT IN FRONT of you?! Have you no knowledge of the saying, 'See it to believe it!'"
"Rarity, I know what Steel says may sound crazy." Nate started. "But, don't let it all go to your head. It was funny the first time he said it, but--"
"NO!" Rarity interrupted, which made him jump back. "I see where all this is going! I go out of my way to take you all on a nature walk, and this is how you repay me?! By abandoning Steel and I in our hour of need?" She was very angry as she said those words, blood boiling so rapidly. "Well, you know what?! Fine! Go and scoff at your dear friend, the silver ranger! And then the next day, when you see all the Morph-X gone, you can have more entertainment! 'Oh, why look, there are our friends, Rarity and Steel going down in flames! Isn't friendship magic?!'" The others all jumped back in shock, as they never saw her so mad like this.
"Rarity, calm down. What's gotten into you?" Ravi asked.
"What's gotten into all of you?!" Rarity continued to spit out angrily. "Oh, go ahead! See your little towers! Congratu-pony-lations, kids! Sounds like you've all figured out already that's it's everypony for themselves in this town!" She stomped her hoof down hard, and left without saying a word.
"Rarity, Wait!" Starlight called out. She paid no attention.
"I think we hurt their feelings." Nate said in regret.
"You think?!" Spike asked, as the others gave him the stink eye.
"We'd better go after them." Ravi said, as they all started to head off after their friends.
They searched all over the forest, but so far, no sign of their friends. "Steel!" They all called out.
"Rarity!" Spike cried out. So far, no answer.
"The trail's gotten cold." Ravi said with worry, as they continued to call out, "Steel! Rarity!"
Luckily, Starlight and Zoey both noticed some footprints. "Guys! Check this out!" Starlight said, as she pointed to them. They all came and saw that they were robot and pony footprints.
"Robot and Hoof prints." Nate said, instantly recognizing them. "They must have gone...this way!" He pointed Northeast. "Come on!"
They all followed the trail until the forest led to a desert. When they all stopped, they saw something they never expected to see. "Unbelievable." Nate said in surprise. "Steel and Rarity really were onto something."
In the rocky desert location, tronics were carrying barrels of Morph-X to a pug-faced hedgehog, with a blue antler symbol on his shirt. It was Grubber, the Storm King's henchman. Aiding him was a red drill robotron, looking like the original Drilltron, dubbed Drilltron 2.0. "Hurry up with the Morph-X!" Grubber commanded. "Otherwise, The Storm King will blast you to bolts!"
The rangers, Spike and Starlight were utterly shocked that they saw this unfold before their eyes. Rarity and Steel were both right about an old enemy returning. "Steel and Rarity were right." Spike said in shock. "The Storm King IS back!"
"Get a move on, Tronics!" Drilltron 2.0 ordered the tronics as they were carrying the energy to the henchmen.
"Another Drilltron..." Nate said in shock, as he saw this.
"Oh no..." Ravi said in surprise.
"Another Drilltron?" Starlight asked confused. "Isn't this the first time we've faced a Drilltron?"
"For you guys." Ravi said, as he pointed to them. "Not for us." He pointed to his teammates.
"Looks like that Morph-X tower wasn't an accident after all!" Spike said in shock.
"And it wasn't cleaned up." Devon said in agreement. "It was stolen." Just then, he got a call on his wristcom. "Come in, Commander."
"Devon, how's the training run?" Commander Shaw asked on the wristcom.
"Grubber and a robotron are in the woods! They're stealing Morph-X for the Storm King." Devon alerted her.
"What?! Are you sure?" Commander Shaw asked.
"Positive!" Devon answered. "We'll get more intel and get in touch."
Commander Shaw now knew what the rangers and their allies were up against. "Put the zords on standby." She told the workers.
"Copy that." One worker said.
Meanwhile, the henchmen had collected the Morph-X to teleport. "The Morph-X is ready for teleportation!" Drilltron 2.0 told Grubber.
"This day is going to be great!" Grubber said in triumph, as he laughed. At that moment, the 4 rangers, time traveler unicorn, and dragon arrived at the right time.
"Really?" Devon asked, which made the villains gasp. "Well, we're about to ruin it."
"IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!" He and Starlight shouted.
"You want to go first?" Devon asked.
"No, you do it." Starlight said.
The four rangers readied their morphers. "ACTIVATE BEAST POWERS!" They shouted as they instantly morphed into their ranger forms.
"UNLEASH THE BEAST!" The heroes shouted.
"And, that's my cue to get out of here!" Grubber said as he went to the Morph-X containers, and teleported with them.
"No! The Morph-X!" Spike shouted in horror.
"That's the least of your worries!" Drilltron 2.0 said, as he sent the tronics to fight the heroes.
"Go get them!" Devon said as the heroes charged.
The fight was on! The 3 Beast-X rangers, Spike and Starlight threw some punches, and kicks at the tronics. Even some magic zaps at them as well. Spike even used his fire breath to singe them.
Nate was kicking a couple tronics and switched over to the Drilltron, as he threw some punches at him. However, the robotron blocked his fists and started to run away. "Come back here!" Nate shouted as he dashed after him.
Meanwhile, the tronics tried to block Zoey's attacks, but she and Starlight threw some kicks and magic blasts. So far, this was mere child's play.
Ravi was throwing some punches to the tronics as well, as he jumped up and kicked them in the gut. He even flipped a few over. Devon and Spike kicked a few tronics in the gut as well, while Nate threw a punch at the robot, but got pushed away by him.
They all regrouped. "Whoa!" Nate said in shock. "He's as tough as the last Drilltron!"
"I'm just getting started!" The robotron said as he slammed his drill hand to the ground, creating a combination of a smokescreen and an earthquake, which sent the heroes tumbling down to the ground.
Meanwhile, Steel was walking in frustration with Rarity trying to catch up to him. "Steel!" She called out, as the bot turned around. "Steel? What are you doing out here?"
"I'm...I'm heading back to Grid Battleforce to catch up on more ranger training." Steel lied.
Rarity didn't believe him. "Steel, Darling!" She said, seriously and worried. "I know the others don't believe you on the Storm King, but that doesn't mean you get to take it out on them, and just leave."
"Well, I didn't want to go back because you'd thought you'd talk me out of leaving." The bot said angrily.
"Because I would." Rarity said with a serious tone in her voice. "Steel, you can't leave."
"Why? Why can't I leave?" He asked. "All the others seem to like the evidence so much, clearly, they don't understand the truth right in front of them!"
"Well, they just don't know the OTHER half of it, Darling." The fashionista said calmly. "At least you could take the time to show them the evidence, front-and-center."
"Well, I would like it if the others just LEFT ME ALONE right now." Steel said, gruffly. "They wasted their time." He started to walk away again.
Rarity saw her friend walk away, and it pained her to see her friend like this. Even in his time of need. She couldn't stand by and watch her friend suffer. She felt tears through her eyes, and she was about to snap. "STEEL!" She shouted, before she was calm again. "I was in a similar spot like YOU before!"
The beast bot stopped and slowly turned around to make sure he heard what she said. "I'm sorry. What?" He asked calmly.
"Yes." Rarity told him. "Well, actually...I have been in similar pickles like the one you were just in. I just can't bear to see you suffer like this. I may be the Element of Generosity, but even I had my moments where I was out of it."
"You see, Steel, I did lose my temper when my friends weren't there for me." Rarity continued. "But even still, I pressed forward and didn't give up until I accomplished what was once hard to me."
"I think my friends just didn't believe me or you." Steel said, calm. "But it was hard for us to convince them to...!"
"Steel, you're not alone." Rarity interrupted him, as she touched his metal arm and smiled. "Your friends still believe in you."
"How did you know what I was thinking?" Steel asked in surprise.
"Because your friends do believe in you and are there for you." Rarity answered.
Steel realized that she was right, and that he shouldn't stay mad at them forever. "I guess you're right. Sorry, Rarity." He confessed.
Rarity just giggled softly. "That's okay." She said. "Even I know when I'm not alone, and it certainly wasn't the first time I was like this." The two giggled for a while. Just then, they heard some explosions in the distance, which got their attention.
"What was that?" Steel asked in shock.
"It sounded like..." The two came and saw their friends at the mercy of Drilltron 2.0 and the tronics.
"A robotron?!" Rarity shrieked.
"The guys are in trouble!" Steel said in alert.
"Big trouble!" Rarity added.
"Let's go!" The two raced to save their friends, hopefully, if they weren't too late!
Meanwhile back at the rock quarry, Drilltron 2.0's earthquake/smokescreen combo sent the heroes to the ground. The heroes tried to get up, but things were about to get more rough for them.
"Now, seize them!" He shouted, as the tronics came and grabbed all 6 heroes and held them with their arms stretched out and on their knees. "You know the drill, rangers!" He said as he marched up to them. "It's time for destruction!"
"Not a chance!" Ravi said as they all struggled, but were caught in the foot-soldiers' grasp.
"Let go!" Zoey shouted.
"And now, to finish you!" The robotron said, as he readied his drill arm.
"Hey, Drillhead!" a voice shouted. Drilltron turned to see Rarity and Steel coming right for him, as they jumped up. "ACTIVATE BEAST POWERS!" Steel said, as he readied his morpher and transformed into the silver ranger. The two landed, and they were ready to take the robot on!
"STRIKER BEAST BLAST!" Steel said as he and Rarity aimed the morpher gun and horn at the Robotron and blasted him, sending him flying up in the air.
They turned to their friends. "GET DOWN!" Rarity said as they fired at the tronics, making them evaporate into thin air.
"Steel!" Devon said in relief.
"Rarity!" Starlight said as well.
"We heard the fight from the woods, and came as fast as we could!" Rarity said as they ran up to them.
"You two were just in time!" Ravi said, ad Spike nodded.
"Steel, Rarity, we've got to talk." Zoey said, regretfully. "We need to say that we're sorry we ignored you."
"We should've listened to you in the first place." Spike said as the others nodded.
"What we're trying to say was that...we felt awful about not believing you, and you two were right the whole time." Starlight added.
"We're sorry, you guys." Devon said.
"We'll pay more close attention to you next time, when an emergency like this pops up." Nate said in agreement.
"Thanks, Darlings." Rarity said happily. "And if you need any help with robotrons, you know who to ask."
"And besides...Devon told me that there's more to all of you than meets the eye!" Steel added.
Just then, Rarity realized something. "Ooh, that reminds me of..." She was cut off when the rangers got a call on their morphers.
Devon answered it. "What's up, Commander?" He asked.
"A gigadrone detector JUST activated." Commander Shaw informed them. "Zords are en route, but it's about to land...right where you're standing!"
"What? Right here?" They saw a red Drill gigadrone in a green coccoon about to land on them!
"Incoming! Look out!" Devon called out, and they all ran...or jumped out of the way of the gigadrone that just landed on them. Spike was about to fall, but Rarity used her magic to catch them, and lift them all up to level ground.
They all got up after the drone landed. "WHOA!" Starlight said in shock.
"That was close!" Zoey added.
"NO WAY!" Steel said in shock.
"Let's check it out! Come on!" Devon said, as they raced to the hole, where the gigadrone landed.
"That leaked Morph-X is underground." Nate said, pointing to inside the hole. "That gigadrone must be drilling down to steal it! We have to stop it!"
"I just knew something like this would happen!" Steel said seriously.
"You should've minded your own business, rangers!" Drilltron 2.0 said, marching up to them. "Because you won't be able to dig yourselves out of this fight!"
The heroes had two problems...a robotron sized one, and a gigadrone sized one! How were they going to handle all this?!
Luckily, Steel had an idea. "Zoey, Rarity, Starlight and I can handle the robotron!" Steel said as the three nodded in agreement.
"You guys stop the gigadrone!" Rarity alerted.
"Good call!" Devon said as they raced to their zords.
"Let's go!" Steel said, as he, Starlight, Zoey and Spike raced to take on Drilltron 2.0, as they started out small with the attacks. This would be a brand new battle, that the rangers and their Equestrian allies would enter, and one that they would never forget as what would happen later would be something...phenomenal!
Steel...the silver Power Ranger, and Rarity...the Element of Generosity both arrived in time to save their friends from Drilltron 2.0's clutches, and they apologized for not believing them sooner about the Storm King's return. However, a Drilldrone 2.0 had arrived and was already out to steal the Morph-X underground, and they still had the Robotron to face.
Luckily, Steel, Zoey, Starlight, and Rarity would face Drilltron 2.0 on foot, while Devon, Ravi, Nate and Spike would get the zords and take on Drilldrone 2.0. So far, the heroines and bot had started their part. Now, the boys and dragon had to do theirs.
"I think I have an idea." Devon said. "Nate, is it possible for the wrecker zord's crane to lower my zord into the hole?"
"Yes...theoretically," Nate answered. He got out his morpher, and contacted the commander. "Commander, we got a crazy plan!"
Meanwhile, the girls and one Silver Ranger were taking on Drilltron with Steel and Zoey kicking the robot in the gut, which made him stagger back a little bit.
"Take that!" Starlight shouted as she and Rarity fired zome magic beams to him, and Steel and Zoey both grabbed him by the arms and flung him to the ground.
The Wrecker Zord, Wheeler Zord, and Racer Zord had already arrived at the hole where the gigadrone landed. The time to execute the plan was now. "Okay, Ravi! You stand guard while I do this!" Devon told him.
"Roger that!" Ravi said.
"Here we go!" Nate said, as he and Spike got the Zord ready. "Extending Wrecker crane arm!"
"Ready to do this, Cruise?" Devon asked his beast bot.
"Sure am!" Cruise complied, as the Racer zord grabbed the Wrecker zord's hook.
"Activating Winch!" Spike said, as he activated the winch, which lowered the Racer zord down into the hole.
The racer zord was going down underground with Nate and Spike's help. So far, so good. "All systems are still functional." Devon said.
"Any sign of the gigadrone, Devon?" Spike asked.
"Nothing yet." Devon replied. "Uh, but hang on!"
"Devon, I'm detecting two unidentified objects coming from below!" Cruise said urgently.
The two UFOs came right up and whizzed past the zord.
"WHOA!" He said in alert. "Something's heading for the surface! Heads up!" The UFOs hit the wrecker zord's crane, and transformed and landed on the ground, revealing to be...
"They're gigatronics!" Smash said in shock.
"We've got to stop them!" Ravi said. The gigatronics were already heading for the Wrecker zord.
"We can't defend ourselves!" Spike said in shock. "Not with Devon still on the zord's hook! Ravi?"
"Yep! We're on it!" Ravi answered as he got the wheeler zord to try to block the gigatronics. The Wheeler zord threw a punch at one, and held one tightly in its grasp. One gigatronic aimed its blaster at it. "Not on my watch!" The Wheeler zord fired beams from its wheel ears at the first one and gave the other an uppercut.
"Keep it up, Ravi!" Nate said. "Devon! What's your status?"
"We're nearing the bottom of this thing." Devon told him. "Ready for landing!" The Racer zord landed at the bottom of the cave and Devon could see the glowing green Morph-X inside. "Wow!" He said. "That's a lot of Morph-X."
"It's everywhere!" Crusie said. "We can't let the gigadrone get it!"
"But, where is he?" Devon wondered. He got his answer when the Drilldron drilled up from under the rock, and slammed into the zord. "I think we just found it!" He said as the gigadrone was giving it a few uppercuts, and made things even harder by summoning two more gigatronics!
"More gigatronics?!" Devon asked in shock.
"Devon, can we handle it right down here?" Crusie asked in worry.
"I don't know, buddy!" Devon told him. "But, we're about to find out!" And, they were!
Meanwhile, the girls and bot were giving Drilltron 2.0 a few slashes, blasts, and zaps. However, his drill hands were hard to crack. "BEAST SLASH!" Steel said, as he and Zoey slashed the robotron.
Rarity and Starlight blasted it with some magic blasts as well, hitting him hard like a gattling gun. However, he was a formidable opponent, but they wouldn't give up that easily!
"This Drilltron is tough!" Starlight said, panting.
"But, we're tougher, I think!" Rarity responded by kicking the Drilltron in the gut, knocking him down.
"I must say, we haven't fought robotrons with you for some time. I may not be the ruler of Equestria, but it is nice to hear how I've inspired ponies with my meager talent for fashion." She told her ranger friends.
"Oh, come on, Rarity." Steel told her. "Of course you have a knack for design, but you're a lot more than that."
"I AM!" Rarity said as she gave her a combo between a blast and a kick at the same time, sending the robotron down to the ground.
He got up to retreat, but the heroes wouldn't let him. "We're not finished with you!" Starlight said as they went after him.
Meanwhile, the gigatronics were blasting the Wheeler zord, and one knocked said zord out of the way.
"I can't let them get to Nate and Spike!" he said as he pushed one out of the way. His zord made its way over to a gigatronic and started to lift it up, but the other one tried to knock it out of the way!
Ravi was losing grip on them. "I can hold them back!" He said, trying to hang on.
"Great!" Nate said. "Devon?"
Devon was struggling to take on Drilldrone AND the gigatronics at the same time, as the robots were bashing the zord from all sides. "Might be a while, guys!" He said.
Meanwhile, the ground team was still going at it with Drilltron. They tried to go for him, but he whapped them with his drill hands.
Steel was getting back up as he approached him. "Say Goodbye!" He said, ready to finish him off!
"No thanks!" Steel said as he evaded the robotron, who just slashed a tree! Zoey and Rarity jumped up to take him on, but they got whapped back to the ground.
"GUYS!" Steel said in shock, as he rushed over to them! He was ready for another go with Drilltron. "You've had it!" He said as he Starlight both charged at him again.
Meanwhile, the Racer Zord was still underground taking down the three robots, who were still giving the zord an extreme beating. Devon checked the power supply, which was getting low.
"Oh no! Our Morph-X levels are dropping!" Cruise said in alarm.
"Don't worry. I've got a plan!" Devon said bravely. "Nate, lower your hook again!"
Nate did so, while the Racer zord beat Drilldrone back, making the gigatronics go to him. The hook arrived, and the zord grabbed it! "Got it!" Devon said.
"What are we doing?!" Cruise wanted to know.
"You'll see!" The racer zord swung the Wrecker zord's hook around, whalloping the two gigatronics and hooked the gigadrone.
"You hooked him!" Cruise said excitedly.
"Nate, reel it up!" Devon said.
"Nice! Going up!" Nate revved up the hook, and the gigadrone was reeled out of the hole, leaving only its lackeys!
"And, then there were two!" Devon said, confidently.
"See you later, Drilldrone!" Crusie said as well.
Meanwhile, the ground team was struggling to finish off Drilltron 2.0 as he wallopped them down to the ground. They all got up and regrouped. "How are we supposed to defeat him?!" Steel asked in shock.
"I don't know." Starlight said. "He was tough last time too."
"Too bad!" Drilltron 2.0 said, as he marched up to them. "You're about to meet your end!" He readied his hands to finish them off.
"What am I thinking?! I got us all in this mess! I don't know HOW we can beat him!" Steel said worried.
Rarity gasped, and realized what was most important. "Don't say that, Steel!" Rarity told him. "We're gonna solve this together!"
"That's right." Starlight added. "You and Us!"
"I don't think we can do it!" He said nervously.
"Steel, listen to us Of course we can!" Rarity said to him. "You remember when you were first built? It all started when Nate was forced by Evox to create a robot body. But luckily he had a trick up his sleeve."
"Yes! Nate intervened and became a ranger in the process!" Starlight agreed. "But, he never expected the robot he created...which was you...to morph into a ranger as well!"
Zoey and Rarity both blasted the robotron back a few feet to buy some more time. "And, you and him became pretty much inseparable like brothers!" Starlight said to him, smiling. "Heck, Twilight's like a sister to me as well and even we're pretty much inseparable too!"
"That does make sense..." Steel said, starting to think about it. "But, how would that help us with this problem?"
"What I'm saying is, Steel is that you've been there for your friends countless times!" Starlight continued. "You even agreed to put your life on the line, by sacrificing yourself to save them so that Evox could use your body."
"And, Evox would've won...if it wasn't for the fact that you were powered with not only scarab beetle DNA, but also human DNA as well. That corrupted Evox's systems!"
"And, also you even helped Nate with solving big problems that he couldn't do alone!" Rarity said as she blasted the robotron even further back, and came back to him. "Remember when that Clonetron tried to impersonate you, and he damaged the zord system?"
Steel realized that his friends were onto something as he thought about it. "Oh yeah." He said slowly. "That's right."
"You two worked together and you fixed it!" Rarity continued to tell him. "Just like we're going to do now!"
"You're right!" Steel said in realization. "Of course! I can do anything!" He got back in the game and readied his morpher. "STRIKER BEAST BLAST!" He shouted as he blasted the robotron repeatedly, with Zoey, Rarity and Starlight helping him as well.
"And remember when you and Nate were fighting off Sombra and saved me and Spike?" Starlight asked him.
"Of course!" Steel said, as he slashed the robotron with his Striker Saber. "That was when we first met and I still haven't forgotten how it happened!"
Steel rushed over to Nate, but the brainwashed Starlight and Spike were coming right at him as well! "Do you have any ideas?" Nate asked.
Steel took a look at the eyes and thought of a way to neutralize the effect. It had to work! "These eyes must be it!" Steel aimed at Starlight's eyes and blasted them! His aim was spot-on, making the pink unicorn groan in pain.
"STEEL!" Nate yelled. "You could've killed her!" He was horrified.
"But the thing in her eyes..." He tried to tell Nate. "I'm sure it faded." Just then Starlight Glimmer was coming to, and when she finally recovered, she saw the gold and silver rangers right toward her. She was scared.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed "MONSTER!" and tried to back away.
"No!" Steel warned her. "STOP!"
"We're here to help!" Nate advised her. "Those other ponies are under Sombra's control!"
"Nate, look!" He looked to see Spike coming right at him!
Nate used his striker Morpher and aimed it at the drake. "I hope this works." He said to himself. He fired right in Spike's eyes spot-on! Spike was sent to the ground in pain! When he came to, rubbing his eyes, he was shocked at who was right before him!
"Whoa!" The dragon said. "Who are you?!"
"I'm Nate!" Nate started.
"And I'm Mr. Super-Fantastic Stong As Steel! But please call me Steel!" Steel finished.
Spike was shocked and surprised. Starlight too, as they looked at each other with astonishment, and back to the two heroes. "You guys are the Power Rangers?!"
"You even helped Devon restore his memories, when Blaze and Roxy brainwashed the other rangers, except you, by shutting down the machine Vargoyle set up, while Devon was facing him." Rarity said to him. "That took guts!"
"It sure did!" Steel said. "...and it almost cost me my life trying to save Devon!"
"And remember when you and Ivan helped save Twilight from Chrysalis and Tirek?" Starlight asked as well. "That took more guts as well! You would definitely go out of your way to help save her as well!"
“Because when you have to protect yourself, you don't have time for anypony else.” Tirek said to her as he started to smash her, only to be blasted by Nate’s striker blaster!
“Too bad you never taught that in school.” Roxy said as she started to aim at Twilight. She fired at her.
“NO!” Ivan shouted. He ran up to the crowd and lifted up a slab of the castle floor to block the blast!
Twilight was surprised that he was saving her from almost an untimely death. “Thank you.” She said.
“Don’t thank us yet!” Steel said as he joined Ivan to help hold the slab to the blasts! Zoey and the other power rangers, as well as the rest of the Mane 6, Celestia and Luna helped block the blast as well! The legion of doom was already overwhelming the combined might of the teams, but they weren’t about to give up yet!
"Of course!" Steel realized how it happened. "Good thing the legendary Dino Rangers came to help us that time!" He realized another memory. "And, I also remember the time I helped Luster...Twilight's own student from the future! I helped her prove that friendships are very powerful and that you need them to overcome tough obstacles!"
The racer Zord advanced toward Tooldrone 2.0 and used its sword to slash it, but however, the Gigadrone had other ideas. It fired lasers from its hands at the racer zord, making it stagger back in pain. “Aaah!” Luster said in shock. “It’s zapping the Zord!” The Zord tried to retaliate by using the sword, but the gigadrone swatted the sword away, which made the Zord stagger back some more.
“Luster!” Steel said as he advanced in his Jet Zord and fired at the gigadrone, making it stagger back.
“Thanks, Steel!” Luster said as Steel’s Zord backed the fight up.
“You can’t do this on your own!” Steel said. “You need friends to help you! That’s the important thing about friendship!”
In an instant, something in Luster’s mind clicked as she now knew how important friendship was now. She thought it was a waste of time and Twilight’s friends didn’t care about the coronation going wrong, but she was wrong! She realized that friendships can be hard, and it takes work to maintain them. But without friends, things can be a lot harder. Friendship connects everyone, and undoing one group of friends makes its magic less powerful. “That’s it!” She said in realization. “I know how important friendship can be! Just like Twilight told me!”
“That’s the spirit, Luster!” Steel said, clapping his hands in excitement. “You ready to work together to take him down?”
Luster smiled back. “Absolutely, friend!” She said.
Steel got out his striker morpher and aimed it at the gigadrone inside the cockpit. “BEAST RACER MEGAZORD...HYPER BLAST!” Steel and Luster shouted as the Megazord fired a massive blast with its gun, hitting the gigadrone spot on and severely weakening it.
Zoey used her Beast-X Cannon to blast the robotron back, along with Starlight and Rarity using their magic zaps. "So, you see, Steel..." Rarity said to her. "You are not only a great brother with Nate, but also a great friend to all of us!" She hugged him tightly and sweetly. "It's just lovely to hear when a friend thinks highly of you. And, we all think highly of you...I think highly of you."
"I know that." Steel said as he hugged her. "I'm stunning!"
They embraced in the hug, when suddenly, Rarity noticed something was shining...more brightly than the sun itself. She saw what was shining and gasped in excitement. "Steel, your Morph-X key is glowing!"
"Huh?" Steel took a good look at his key, and he saw that it was glowing. "It IS glowing!" He realized. The key transformed and changed color from silver to white. When it finished, it looked identical to the key, only it was like the Element of Generosity!
"WHOA!" Steel said in shock. "The white Element-X Key! I remember when we first used these against Sombra!"
"With it, we can bring this fight to a whole new level!" Starlight added.
Steel instantly knew what needed to be done. "Alright! Let's do this!" he said as he ran up to the robotron and slashed him with his Striker Saber!
"You're gonna pay for that!" Drilltron 2.0 said furiously.
"No! You will!" Steel said pointing at him furiously. "This is more than just power! They're my friends, and they're about to help me destroy you!" He whipped out his morpher. " “STRIKER MORPHER...READY!” He got the key ready and inserted it in. “ACTIVATE SUPER BEAST POWERS!”
Within seconds, he instantly transformed into his super form. The transformation was the same, except the element of Generosity was shown in place of a scarab beetle. Once the transformation finished, his suit had materialized! This was his ranger suit! Only, it was white with a purple visor, and shoulder and leg pads!
"Element-X Generosity form...READY!" Steel shouted, introducing his form.
Drilltron was shocked at what he was seeing. "This can't be!" He said in shock. "I have never seen anything like this before!"
Steel was ready to give his new form a try. "Let's give this new form a test drive!" He said as he charged at the robotron. He fired a punch to Drilltron's gut, making him stagger back in pain.
Drilltron was ready to take him on. "I'll teach you what happens when you add gems to drills!" He bellowed as he tried to cut him with his drill hands. Luckily, Steel blocked them by conjuring up diamond-projected shields.
"Wrong! Diamonds are much stronger!" Steel said as he used a diamond shield to knock him down. Finally, he jumped up on the shield and used it like an airboard. "STRIKER JEWEL SLASH!" He shouted as slid past him, slashing him down to the ground.
"Alright, Steel!" Starlight said as they regrouped with him.
"Now, let's finish this!" Rarity added, as they all landed to do the final count.
"TRANSPORT...BEAST-X BLASTER!" Zoey said, summoning her weapons and they used their blasters, and horns to zap the robotron, making him fall to ground again. Steel swung his saber in a circular motion to him as a chain of diamonds wrapped around him tightly, holding him in place.
Zoey formed the Beast-X cannon, while Steel, Starlight and Rarity aimed theirs at him. "Cannon ready! Blaster charged!" They said.
"Uh oh!" Drilltron said in horror.
"BEAST-X CANNON BLAST!" Zoey, Starlight and Rarity all shouted as they blasted him spot on!
"STRIKER GEM BLAST!" Steel said, as he fired a jewel-encrusted laser blast. All the blast made the robotron down and out for the count, as he exploded.
"Beautifully done, Steel!" Zoey said as they regrouped. "Now, we better go help the others!"
"They need air support!" Steel agreed. "Time to take to the sky!" He contacted Commander Shaw. "Commander! Deploy Jey and Chopper zords!"
"Perfect!" Starlight said. "Let's fly!" And the ground team raced to their zords.
Meanwhile, the gigatronics were blasting the Wheeler zord, making it stagger back, as they jumped over said zord.
Ravi took notice! "Oh, no!" he said in shock, as they were trying to get to the Wrecker zord. "They got past me!"
"We're still hooked onto the gigadrone!" Nate told him.
The gigatronics aimed their blasters. "Nate! Spike!" Ravi shouted. Luckily, the drones were blasted by the Beast Chopper zord, as it flew right by them. "Thanks, Zoey!"
"Phenomenal timing!" Nate said in relief.
"Thought we'd make an entrance! You ready, Jax?" She asked her beast bot.
"Finally! A little action! Let's do this!" Jax said.
"Got it! Jackrabbit mode!" Zoey said, as the zord transformed into its rabbit mode. The Chopper zord jumped on both gigatronics, with the Wheeler zord, knocking them down.
"BEAST KICK!" The Chopper zord kicked one gigatronic.
"TAKE THIS!" The Wheeler zord delivered a ferocious uppercut to the other one! "ROCKET STORM!" Ravi shouted, as the zord blasted them with its wheel beams, making both of them explode. Blue and Yellow cheered in triumph!
Devon was still going at it with the other two underground as the Racer zord used its sword to slash them down. "TRANSPORT...CHEETAH BEAST BLASTER!" he said, summoning his weapon for the big finish. "RACER ZORD...CHEETAH STRIKE!" The zord brutally slashed both gigatronics as they were no more! "That's two more down!" Devon said triumphantly.
Outside the underground hole, Drilldrone 2.0 was lifted to the surface by the Wrecker zord. "Whoa! Looks like we caught a big one!" Spike said in surprise!
"We'll help you!" Steel said as the Beast Jet zord transformed to scarab beetle mode. The zord caught Drilldrone and took him to the sky.
"We're right behind you!" Nate said as he and Spike revved up the Wrecker zord.
The Jet zord approached the city. Steel had an idea. "If that Element-X Key worked on that morpher..."
"Let's see if it came with zord enhancement options!" Rarity agreed.
"Let's do it!" Steel said as he plugged in the white Element-X key into the zord panel.
"BEAST JET ZORD...GEM CRUSH!" Steel, Rarity and Starlight shouted as the Jet zord's scarab claws became gem-encrusted, and gave the gigadrone a tight squeeze, before dropping him down to the ground.
The Wrecker zord arrived just in time, as Nate activated its transformation into battle mode. "Let's put you back in the ground!" Nate said, as the zord threw a few punches to the gigadrone, making it stagger back!
"Watch this!" Nate said as the zord's swords attached to its arms in blaster mode. The zord got a good lock on Drilldrone. "Target locked!"
"WRECKER ZORD...BAZOOKA BLAST!" Nate and Spike shouted as the Wrecker zord fired blasts from the blasters at Drilldrone, knocking it down, as it exploded.
"Virus eliminated!" Nate said with relief!
"We did it!" Spike said excitedly. "Whoo hoo!"
"Yeah!" Everyone cheered with excitment.
"Great job, Everybody!" Steel said to his teammates as Drilldrone was defeated, the zords went back to their hangers, and the rangers and their Equestrian allies went to Grid Battleforce for a job well done. Mission accomplished!
At Grid Battleforce, the rangers and ponies were going over what had happened recently about the Morph-X and the battle with Drilltron 2.0 to Commander Shaw. They may have defeated a robotron, but the battle with the Storm King's syndicate wasn't over. It was only starting "The crew has already taken care of the Morph-X spill." Devon informed her.
"Glad to hear it." Commander Shaw said. "Have you found the Storm King's base?" She asked Nate.
"No, Ma'am." Nate told her. "I ran a scan of the Cyber Dimension. As far as I can tell, it's deserted. No sign of the Storm King."
"They must be hiding somewhere else." Starlight added as well. "So, we don't even KNOW where that gigadrone even came from!"
"Right now, we can only assume that today won't be the last attack." Commander Shaw said. "We have to be ready for anything. I'll inform the mayor." She left the room to find Mayor Daniels.
"The Cyber Dimension was destroyed after we battled Evox." Rarity said. "The Storm King must have found himself a well-hidden place. As of right now, we have no idea where it is."
"You all thought Rarity and I had a screw loose." Steel said to them. "And, actually we did. See?" He held out a screw, and everyone giggled a little bit as they saw him hold it out. "Luckily, Nate fixed it."
"But really, Darlings. Steel and I both wanted to get to the truth." Rarity agreed with him.
"The truth is...your evidence was right." Ravi said. "Like the tower leak."
"And, we guess it could have been a photo of Grubber." Devon said as Spike nodded.
"I guess it was so nice NOT worrying about the robotron, that I guess none of us wanted to believe that they were back." Starlight said as the others nodded.
"We're sorry we didn't believe you two." Nate said to them. "Will you forgive us?"
"Of course." Steel said.
"We're not going to judge all of you, even if you don't believe us at first." Rarity added. She started to snifle.
"Rarity, are you okay?" Ravi asked.
She stopped sniffling and smiled at Ravi. "Of course I am. It's just lovely to hear when a friend thinks highly of you." She cleared her throat. "All right. Looks like we have everything we need."
The others were confused. "Everything you need for what?" Nate asked.
"We feel like this is the right time to tell you guys...Spike and I are putting together something special for Twilight to give to her in Canterlot." She held out the scrapbook, and showed them a few pages that featured Rarity's and Steel's memories of Twilight, and her friends. "I combined some ancient spells to make a magical scrapbook, and so far Steel and Rarity already have a few memories recorded in the book."
The others were surprised as they now knew why they wanted to bring the scrapbook to Coral Harbor. "Wow!" Devon said surprised. "You were going to make a memory scrapbook to give to Twilight in Canterlot? That's a great idea...considering since we haven't heard from her in a while, and Twilight should have a few memories to remeber us by."
"And by a few, we mean more than a few." Zoey added.
"That way, Twilight can have a collection of memories all of us to look at any time she wants." Spike finished.
"Now, that is a great gift for Twilight." Ravi added.
"Speaking of which, you did say Twilight would be at your boutique for her dress fitting." Nate said to her. "Are you sure you'll be able to finish her dress in time?"
Rarity just laughed. "Oh, that's not Twlight's gown. I finished hers weeks ago." She said.
"What?!" They all said in shock.
"Then, what's that green thing you brought?" Steel asked pointing to the object she was holding. "It looks gorgeous. But what is this?"
"That is a backup." Rarity said, revealing the dress to her friends. "One can never be too careful. I like to have all of my bases covered." The others gasped in awe at it.
"And, that's one of the things I'll never forget about you, Rarity!" Steel said, as Rarity smiled.
Just then, the beast bot had an idea. "Hey, how about we all go on an expedition?" he asked.
The others perked up in amazement. "Really?" Starlight asked.
"What expedition would that be?" Spike asked in wonder.
"I have evidence that proves Coral Harbor is home to the one and only...Loch Ness Monster!" Steel said excitedly. The others giggled a little bit in amusement.
"Like the one from Scotland?" Ravi asked curiously.
"She's here on vacation! I know it!" Steel answered. At that moment, Ben and Betty both entered wearing scuba gear outfits, and goggles.
"Ben and Betty reporting for duty, you two!" Betty said, saluting them.
"We've got everything we need, guys." Ben added. "But, these goggles sure make it hard for you guys to see." They both took off the goggles, and felt cross-eyed as their vision tried to return to normal.
The others all shared a laugh. "Y'know? A boat trip could be fun." Devon decided.
"Yeah!" Starlight added. "I think some aquatic encounters undersea could be a good idea."
"But, won't Twilight notice that we're not here for her fitting?" Spike asked worried.
"Nah, Not one bit!" Steel said, waving his hand to them.
"Then, it's decided!" Ravi agreed. "Let's go on a boat trip. All in favor?"
"Aye!" They all said as Ben and Betty nodded.
"Excellent!" Steel said. "Let's go find Nessie! Come on, Ben and Betty!" They all left to get ready for a great boat trip.
"Hey, wait for us!" Ben said as the door closed before they could leave, making them squished on the back side of the door.
Luckily, they were teleported out of the room, thanks to Rarity's magic, as she smiled at the two. "Don't say we never do anything nice for you, Darlings." The two nodded as they all followed them out to go on their expedition.
It was a great day for the Power Rangers, Rarity, Starlight Glimmer, and Spike as they would go on a boat trip as a celebratory adventure after Drilltron 2.0's defeat, and they would collect some more memories for Twilight's magical scrapbook...hopefully, in the near future.
