The Legend of Sunset Shimmer: Age of Calamity

===================================================

Ok, were finally starting this series of books I have planned! This had been put on hold for awhile due to having to get a job after losing my Grandma late last year, so updates will be slowish.
A few things to note for those wanting to read this!
A. This WILL follow to the events of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, but with the ending we were told wed get. Spoiler Alert: The Heroes WILL die as promised! However... Just cause we know this does NOT mean events will follow as you expect. I already have 100%ed the base game, and am already plotting out how to make this story work into Breath of the Wild, but with a twist based on a concept I had for an older, now canceled, story of mine. What that was, you will find out later.
B. Since this will follow the events, that means the battles will be as close as possible to the ones in the game. HOWEVER... I will try and throw in some other stuff in them like what other characters are doing on different parts of the field(like characters we dont play as for those levels but are there) and I will add more story to it outside what is in the game.

I will also try and do some art for the stories so we can see what the characters at least look like in this setting... just as soon as I learn how to post pics in stories... If someone can tell me real quick, thatd be nice.

This was it. The end of it all. Discord had won. Canterlot laid in ruins as the Guardian forces marched through the streets of Castle Town, laying waste to anything and anyone still standing in their way as they obeyed the order of their new master. Screams of terror were drowned out by the sheer amount of laser’s being fired from the Guardians. All hope has been lost.

Suddenly a pillar of light shined brightly off in the distance near the outskirts of the Everfree Forest. Everyone who was left standing looked on in awe, knowing hope was soon to arrive... But not soon enough as they turned around just in time to see a Guardian march up behind them, taking aim at them and unleashing its mighty laser beam on them.

However, unbeknownst to anyone, up in Canterlot Castle, a second bright light came into existence. As it died down, inside a small lab, a box came into vision, only for its lid to be kicked off a few seconds later. It took a few moments, but soon the box fell to its side as a small purple and green robot climbed out, examining its surroundings. Before it could try and figure out what was happening, it suddenly heard a faint voice in its head.

“I must... Protect... Everyone!”

Nodding at the voice, The tiny robot began to beep a soft tune. As it did, a portal started to materialize into existence before it. Satisfied, the machine got ready to leap into it, when suddenly the ground behind it began to shake. Turning around quickly, the machine began to admit alarm noises as it saw a Guardian standing on the small bridge to the lab its master owned, ramming its body into the door trying to get inside. It soon however settled for targeting its laser right at the tiny machine, beeping that it was charging up. The top of the tiny robot popped up in fear as it turned around, about to leap for the portal when the Guardian fired, just barely missing it as the laser instead went straight into the portal, the machine flying through right after it. Unbeknownst to the tiny purple robot, dark clouds came shooting from the Guardian, following it back into the portal as well...

Death. There was nothing but Death and destruction around her. Twilight looked around as she saw her subjects laying around on the ground, bleeding to death, as armies of monsters roamed Canterlot Town, rampaging throughout the destroyed town. Turning around, she spotted her mothers laying on the ground, one of them stabbed through the heart, the other decapitated. Crying, she looked up to see a dark blood red cloud rise in the distance as a monster of unmistakable horror rose up from it, roaring up at the blood moon, its power at its peak. She turned to run, only to be grabbed by tendrils of Malice and corruption, being pulled backwards towards the monster that had destroyed everything in its path.

“NO, HELP!!! STOP THIS, PLEASE!!!” She screamed feeling the tendrils grab her lips, forcing themselves into her mouth as she screamed in pain and terror. Before she was consumed however, she noticed five warriors battling against the massive forces, a mighty Dragon, a agile Griffen, a noble Hippogriff, a daring Kirin, and a young woman, all of them dressed in the Royal Blue of Canterlot. The woman turned towards her and charged her way, her sword glowing a most holy blue as she swung her blade, launching a beam of light out of it towards Twilight as she screamed her name out. “TWILIGHT!!!”

“AAAAAAAAH!!!!” Twilight screamed as she sat straight up in her bed, covered in cold sweat. Looking outside, she saw that her mother’s moon was still up in the sky and sighed. “It was just a dream... It was just a dream...” She whispered to herself only to hear quick footsteps approaching her room.

Turning towards the door, she saw it open up to reveal a woman with hair the colors of pink, purple, and yellow barge in. “Princess, I heard you scream. Are you alright? No Changling members attacking?” She asked rapidly.

Shaking her head, Twilight sighed and slid out of her bed. “No Cadence. Just a nightmare... a horrible nightmare...” she said slowly walking over to her balcony.

“Pray tell, what kind of nightmare was it that you'd scream in fear leaping from your bed?” Cadence asked as she walked up next to the young Princess. Sighing, Twilight explained her dream to her caretaker only to watch Cadence’s face grow more dark. “Twilight Dear, I feel you should speak with your Mother, Queen Luna, on this. I fear what you had was more then a bad dream...” She said, watching the blood drain from the young Princess’s face.

“Your saying... it could happen for real?” Twilight asked, the fear causing her to shake all over. “Only the Lunar Queen would know for sure...” Cadence said as she lead the Princess back to her bed, though both knew Twilight would be getting no more sleep that night.

A.O.C.

Twilight slowly made her way towards the throne room of Canterlot Castle, finally after all night regaining her nerves to at least talk to one of her mothers about her dream. She slowly opened the doors, only to look up to the thrones on the second floor. Sitting there she saw her birth mothers, Queen Celestia, and Queen Luna, awaiting her arrival. “Good morning Twilight. What brings you to our throne room so early? I would of guessed you would be off in the library studying up on ancient Equestria.” Celestia said as they watched her enter.

Biting her lip, Twilight began fidgeting her royal dress around becoming super nervous. “M-Mothers... I... I had a dream last night...” She said stuttering abit. She then noticed Luna stand up and make her way down to the first floor, her midnight blue hair flowing freely as she approached the young woman she had given birth to.

“A dream my daughter? Am I to guess that you telling us about it would show it to be a nightmare?” She asked, Twilight quickly nodding as an answer, before running up to her mother and hiding her face in her chest, crying.

“I-It was so horrible... I.... I saw the destruction of Equestria in it... The two of you were dead, some massive evil cloud had taken over the castle, and was trying to suck me into it...” She cried out, staining her mother’s dress. Luna held her daughter close as she looked up to Celestia, who nodded down to her before making her way down.

“Shhh... its ok sweetie... Tell me what else you saw.” Luna said slowly petting the girls hair to calm her down. Taking a few seconds to think, Twilight added, “I also saw five warriors battling monsters in the town. I saw a Griffen, a Kirin, a Dragon, a... a Hippogriff, and a woman wielding a glowing sword...” Celestia frowned at hearing this as she approached the two.

“Luna dear... I think its time young Twilight learned about our kingdoms darkest history...” She said placing her hand on her wife's shoulder. Sighing, she nodded saying, "Your right my love...” Turning back to their daughter, she took her hand and lead her to a door leading away from the throne room as Celestia made her way back up to the throne, deep in thought about what her child had told her.

“If what Twilight says is true, we should take action immediately to prepare for the upcoming war... Though as a precaution, I should probably see a fortune teller to reveal the future to me... Just to be safe before I start preparing for something that could not happen.” She said to herself before looking to one of her knights and said, “Bring me the Fortune Teller...”

A.O.C.

Luna brought Twilight into the library, bringing her down hall, after hall, after hall, until they reached a book shelf on the other end of the building.

“Mother, what are we doing here?” Twilight asked as Luna reached up and pulled a book back, before the thirteen year old girl heard a clicking sound. Suddenly the shelf began to slide back revealing an ancient passageway down below the castle. Luna’s eyes flashed for a second as her hand suddenly began to glow a holy blue and she began heading down the passageway, soon hearing Twilight run after her, picking her dress up so she wouldn’t trip over it on the way down. Soon the two reached a chamber more ancient then anything Twilight had ever seen. This new chamber was full of ancient scrolls and what appeared to be large upside down vases with legs coming out of them. Luna’s eyes flashed again and the torches on the walls lit up, bringing light into the room.

“What is this place?” Twilight asked walking forward. “This is where we store the legends of our kingdom’s darkest pasts. Tell me Twilight, have you heard tale of the rise of Discord, the lord of Chaos?” She asked, watching as her daughter shook her head no as a response. Sighing, Luna reached for a scroll and took it out, unrolling it onto the table. “I was hoping to never have to tell you this store until you were ready, but it seems the goddess has other plans...” She said sadly before clearing her throat, getting ready to tell her daughter the truth about Canterlot.

A.O.C.

“The History of the Royal Family of Canterlot is also the History of The Dark Lord of Chaos, Discord, an Ancient Evil that has existed far longer than anyone can recall... This evil has been turned back time and time again, by a warrior wielding the soul of a hero, and a princess who carries the blood of the Goddess as it quested for eternity for The Triforce.

“The Triforce is the harmonious union of Power, Wisdom, and Courage. It has been the object of countless battles between the forces of light and darkness. Each time the Triforce fell into the clutches of evil, Canterlot was plunged into despair. But in every age, a hero chosen by the Goddess would restore peace to the land. During one of these dark times, the legendary hero split the spirit of Discord from his body, and sealed it under Canterlot Castle, in an attempt to stop the cycle of destruction.

“However, the cycle continued on, as Discord’s spirit continued to fuel with his hatred for everything and everyone, and soon shattered his bonds from under the castle, rising now as Calamity Discord. With his new form, Discord would rise again and again over the ages, in an attempt to wipe out civilization and create himself a new body to rule the land with. With each defeat of Discord, the conflict faded into legend, so listen now to this ‘Legend’ that took place Ten Thousand years ago...

“Canterlot was then blossoming as a highly advanced civilization. Even the most powerful monsters posed little threat to the citizens of the land. The people thought it would be wise to utilize their technological prowess to insure the safety of their world, should Calamity Discord ever rise again...

“They Constructed four mechanical wonders that eventually came to be known as The Divine Beasts. They also built a legion of autonomous weapons called the Guardians.

“The Divine Beasts were piloted by four individuals from across Canterlot, whos skills were beyond all others in the land. And Thus, the plan to neutralize Discord was forged.

“Upon Discord’s inevitable return to Canterlot, The Princess and The Hero fought alongside these four Champions against this ancient evil. The Guardians were tasked with protecting The Hero, as the Divine Beasts unleashed a furious attack upon their vicious foe.

“And when The Hero wielding the Blade of Evil’s Bane delivered his final blow, The Princess used her sacred power to seal away Calamity Discord.”

A.O.C.

Looking up from the scroll, Luna watched as her daughter’s purple skin started to pale as she was taking it all in. “So... what your saying is... my dream... will come to pass soon?” She asked starting to sweat nervously. Sighing, her mother nodded as she unrolled more of the scroll.

“Im afraid so... Which means it is time for you to begin your training if we are to survive this.” Luna said revealing to Twilight an image of the princess from eons ago blasting Calamity Discord with her sealing power. “Twilight, you are the latest Princess with the blood of the Goddess running through your veins. You are the one who will seal Discord away again this time.” She said, having Twilight walk over to study it with her.

“Very well Mother. But what of the chosen hero? And the Divine Beasts? Surely we will need them in order to push The Calamity back again.” Twilight said pointing to a male warrior wielding the Blade of Evils Bane and the Divine Beasts with their pilots.

“That would be a good idea to start with. Which Im sure your mother is already planning in the throne room.” Luna said with a slight smug grin before continuing, “But for now, you need not worry about that. I will be focusing on training you for your task, as my mother did for me, and her mother before her.” With that she rolled the scroll back up and put it away leading her daughter out of the hidden chamber.

A.O.C.

Celestia sighed as she watched the Fortune Teller leave the room, bumping into Cadence as she left in a hurry. “Ah Cadence. I suspect you already know of Twilight’s dream last night?” She asked as Cadence got into a bowing position.

“Indeed my queen, and if Im to guess by the leaving of the Fortune Teller just now, then you to feel it was no dream, but a vision of the future.” Cadence said before looking up at her queen. Nodding, Celestia made her way forward to look down at Cadence.

“Do your people still know the locations the Four Divine Beasts were buried ages ago?” She asked, watching as Cadence slowly bit her lip. “Kinda. We wrote the locations down on an old map... That is stored in Everfree Village. My older sister should still have it.” Cadence said pulling a scroll out from her sleeves. “However, we will need more to have them reactivate. My people made a device called the Shiekah Slate years ago that, along with its battle functions, has the ability to reactivate Shiekah Tech, such as the Divine Beasts. With one, we will be able to reactivate them and have the four selected warriors from the Princess’s vision pilot them into defeating the Calamity.”

Nodding, Celestia walked down and took the scroll, reading it over. “Very well. You leave at once to obtain the map and Shiekah Slate. Hurry back before anything bad happens.” She commanded, only for Cadence to frown, saying, “Forgive me my queen, but we do not currently have a Shiekah Slate. However, my sister and our friend Starlight are probably dying to build one for us.”

Nodding, Celestia pointed toward the door. “Then you leave at once Cadence. Task them with building one and return here with the map. While they work on that, we can uncover The Divine Beasts.” Nodding, Cadence turned and ran out of the chamber as fast as she could. Returning to her throne, Celestia sighed putting her hand to her face in thought. ‘We best hope Young Twilight is the Princess with the Blood of the Goddess. If our missing firstborn daughter was the one who was meant to seal Discord away... We are doomed...’

A.O.C.

Sunset yawned as she rolled over in her bed, trying to hide her face from the evilness of the morning sun. “Ugh, just go away...” she said putting her pillow over her head, groaning in misery as the morning light kept finding a way to make its way into her face somehow. Eventually the seventeen year old woman rolled out of her bed onto her balcony, groaning more as she stretched out, wearing nothing but her bra and panties as she walked over to the window, looking over the village of which she was found in at a young age, Everfree. Looking towards the Everfree Woods out by the Village, she slowly smiled at the peace that was here.

Quickly grabbing a casual top and skirt to wear, along with some boots, she quickly slid down the stair railing to her living and dining room before stopping in front of her mirror, grinning at her mess of flaming hair before shaking her head rapidly to fix it slightly, before putting it into a ponytail below her head. “Time to start another fine day in Equestria!” She said stepping outside, grabbing her equipment and walking down the path towards the Everfree Woods to hunt down her breakfast.

“Maybe I should go see Fluttershy after awhile... Its been a few months since Ive been able to make my way to Hippogriff Peak.” Sunset said to herself as she watched a small caravan walk by into Everfree, led by what appeared to be a Shiekah girl on a horseback, her pink, purple, and yellow hair done up in ponytail at the bottom, and a bun at the top, while wearing a hat on her back, wearing the traditional Shiekah tribe garb of white robes. Giving a polite nod to the woman, she continued on her trek into the woods.

She eventually made her way to her favorite spot, looking up into the tree’s to see if there were any nests she could find to grab some eggs. Right as she spotted one however, she heard the sounds of numerous footsteps running past her. Turning around, she gasped as she saw a small band of monsters running up towards the village.

“Shit, and i was hoping to at least grab some food before training...” She muttered as she ran out of the woods, her hands reaching behind her quickly pulling out her travelers sword and shield as she leapt into the air, screaming a battle cry catching the Bokoblins attentions. They quickly noticed her and screamed out at her, raising their clubs into the air to knock her back. Frowning, Sunset slammed down into the ground, sending a small impact wave towards the surrounding foes knocking them back abit before quickly crouching down doing a quick spin kick knocking any remainder of them around her off their feet. “Hopefully this wont last long.” She said gripping her sword tighter as she watched the bokoblins slowly get back up, anger all in their eyes.

A.O.C.

Cadence watched as the young woman nodded at her, giving her a slight smile as the two went their separate ways. Looking up at the other side of the village, she could see Everfree Labs, where her sister Pinkie Pie would be hard at work on whatever Shiekah Technology she could get her hands on. She remembered last time she was here Pinkie Pie said she was working on a rune for the Slate that would turn back the clock on someone, bringing them back into their youth to be at a more fighting chance for the eventual return of Discord. Shaking her head, she could just imagine Pinkie Pie somehow messing things up and turning herself into a kid.

As she neared the hill however, she suddenly heard the sound of a commotion behind them. Spinning around, she suddenly spotted three Bokoblins running through the village straight towards them. “No, not now!” she said before turning to some of the soldiers that came with her. “Stand guard at the bridge. Let no monsters past! The rest of you defend the villagers against the invaders! Ill head back to the entrance to try and fend off anymore entering!” She ordered before leaping over the three Bokoblins and began dashing forward, dodging any other Bokoblins that might attack her before reaching the entrance just in time to see at least twenty of them enter.

“NOT TODAY YOU VILE BEASTS!” She yelled, quickly doing hand signs before two blue holographic shadow clones of her appeared beside her, the three of them flinging their Kunai’s at the Bokoblins entering before watching some of them fly forward at her, only to explode into clouds of darkness upon impact. Looking up, she spotted the woman from earlier running up only to leap into the air, landing in front of one of the monsters before bashing it in the face with her shield, quickly spinning around to slice its head off, causing it to fall over and explode as well. Watching her fight, Cadence admired the short work she was making of the monsters that set out to attack her. ‘I wonder where this girl got those skills from?’ She thought to herself as she ran over to her.

“That is impressive work Madame. Will you help me defend the village from these creatures?” Cadence asked, her shadow clones vanishing. Nodding, Sunset turned around and got into a battle pose. “Of course. I'm not going to let these creeps come into my home and try and tear everyone apart while I still have a fighting chance!” She said with as much courage as she could muster before doing the unthinkable and leaping into the air, flipping over, and landing on top of her shield, riding it down the path knocking any Bokoblins out of the way with as much force as she could muster. Impressed, Cadence quickly leapt down the hill, disappearing only to reappear in front of another Bokoblin as she kicked it down the hill, knocking down five more in its path.

“They wont stand a chance against us if we keep this up!” She said spinning another Kunai in her fingers before slicing a seventh creep up. Meanwhile Sunset leapt off her shield, putting her weapons away only to pull out her bow and arrows, quickly unleashing a barrage of arrows on the Bokoblins underneath her. “Just how many of these guys are there?” She asked landing before pulling back out her sword, quickly preforming a spin attack with her blade, cutting the Bokoblins around her in half before leaping up, using the Bokoblin before her as a stepping point before it slide apart, and used it to leap even higher up, spinning her body around multiple times as she unleashed an air born spin attack, slicing everything in the surrounding area apart. However, as she completed her attack, she was suddenly shot down to the ground by an archer Bokoblin, yelling loudly that it took one of the females down. As it pulled out its horn to signal others to finish Sunset off however, a Kunai flew straight into its head, knocking it down as it bled to death.

Sunset looked up to see Cadence leap down beside her, helping her up. “Are you ok?” She asked, Sunset nodding as she spotted the arrow in her side, frowning. “I will be, once I can bandage up this wound.” She said putting her sword away and quickly yanked the arrow out of her, yelling in pain as it came out. However, instead of attempting to put something on it to stop the bleeding, she flipped the arrow over, yanking out her bow and fired the arrow straight into the skull of one more Bokoblin.

“Theres gotta be a Moblin around somewhere issuing orders. If we get rid of him, then the rest should scatter without their commander!” Sunset said to Cadence as the woman helped the young lady up nodding. “But where would we find him in all this commotion?” Cadence asked before dodging a Bokoblins spear, quickly kicking it in the head before throwing a kunai into its arm, causing it to drop its weapon before she summoned an explosive barrel over it, having it fall on top of it ending its life along with any Bokoblin within striking range of the explosion. “Knowing how a commander works, he would have to be at the highest point in the area to see whats going on...” Sunset said looking around to see the highest point.

Turning back towards the village entrance, she spotted at the top of the mountainside on the right side of the path was indeed a Moblin standing up at the top, roaring its commands down at the Bokoblins. “There it is.” Sunset said putting her gear away as she ran towards the mountain, quickly leaping up onto it to begin climbing up it. Cadence watched her go up before spotting more Bokoblins running for the village entrance, swinging their clubs over their heads in the most dickish fashion ever. Frowning, she threw down a smoke bomb, vanishing before reappearing at the entrance, catching the monsters off guard.

Quickly, she preformed a few hand signs having her shadow clones appear around her. Grinning, they quickly ran forward, blades drawn, and began cutting the army apart into tiny pieces. Eventually they were able to cut the army down to about ten Bokoblins, only for a single arrow to fly right near Cadences head, catching her off guard long enough for a club to hit her upside the head, making her lose concentration, falling down as her clones disappeared from existence. Looking up, she saw a few Bokoblins, blue in color, walk forward grinning evilly as they raised their swords at her. “Oh No...” Cadence said as they got ready to strike.

A.O.C.

Sunset quickly climbed the mountain side, breathing heavily thanks to her wound, but kept quite as she spotted the Moblin, decked out in armor, as it roared down at its minions below it to finish the job. Climbing to her feet, Sunset quickly ducked into the tall grass as she tip toed forward, sword drawn, as she made her way over to the unsuspecting Moblin. Just as she reached it however, it made the choice to turn around, spotting her. “Crap!” She said doing a quick back flip, getting into a fighting position as the Moblin grinned, tightening its grip on its massive club, before swinging its club down right where she was standing.

However, Sunset quickly thrusted her shield at the Moblin, slamming into the club right as it was about to hit her, knocking it right out its hand. Roaring in frustration, it attempted to punch her, only for Sunset to leap behind it, unleashing a barrage of sword strikes, slicing bits and pieces of its armor off it. The Moblin growled and spun around, kicking her back, then ran over to grab a spear to get ready to fight her more. By the time Sunset was back to her feet and senses, she had only a split second to put her shield up as the Moblin charged at her. She attempted to parry the attack again, only to be knocked into a tree, receiving the full blow of the Moblin’s spear, as it roared in victory.

“Well that wasn't fair...” She said slowly standing back up, pulling out her bow and arrows, quickly firing 5 arrows into its chest. “Im not out yet you jerk!” She yelled at it, pulling back out her sword and shield and charged the Moblin again, sliding under its legs as she sliced its leg armor off, then spinning underneath it to knock it off its feet. Growling, the Moblin got back up and swung the spear as hard as it could like a bat, only for Sunset to time her back flip perfectly, suddenly shooting forward slicing up its chest. The Moblin stumbled backwards, completely stunned by the attack. Taking advantage of the situation, Sunset charged forward, leaping into the air, and kicked the Moblin right off the cliff.

A.O.C.

Right as the Bokoblins got ready to strike, they heard the sounds of their commander shrieking. Looking up, they got a good look as their Moblin commander fell right on top of them, crushing them into a bloody pulp. The Moblin slowly started to make its way to its feet only for a steel ball to drop on top of it. Cadence sighed as she put her hands down, having finished her hand signs, and slowly got up. Looking up at Sunset, she yelled, “IS IT OVER?” Looking around, Sunset spotted a lone Bokoblin archer and nothing else. Quickly swapping to her arrows, she quickly fired one last arrow right between its eyes, killing it instantly before looking down at Cadence.

“NOW ITS OVER!” She yelled before making her way back into the village to meet back up with Cadence. Cadence turned around and returned to the village, only to see Sunset slide down the mountain side, soon sliding right up to her panting. “Is everyone ok?”, She asked as she watched Cadence’s army putting their weapons away. Hearing everyone say they were fine, Sunset turned towards the young Shiekah as she walked up to her. “What about you? How are you holding up with that arrow wound?” Cadence asked, as Sunset looked at her wound and sighed. “Ill manage.” she said only for her stomach to growl.

Giggling, Cadence brought Sunset along with them to lab at the other end of the village to offer her some food and to attend her wound while here. As they approached the lab, Cadence looked the young woman over for any other wounds. “Hmm, it seems your ok otherwise.” She said as Sunset quietly ate a plate of eggs that was handed to her. “It was pretty gutsy of you to help out like that.” Cadence said sitting down on a small pot. “What can I say? I saw trouble, and I wasn't about to let my village be attacked by those vile monsters.” Sunset said in between bites.

Nodding, Cadence continued, “You have amazing skills. Have you ever considered joining the Equestrian Army? A great evil is upon us, and we could sure use an amazing swords-woman like you.” “M-Me? A Knight for the Queens? I-Im not sure Id be the best fit for their army. I mean... Im just a lowly young woman living far off from the kingdom. Im not royal knight material...” Sunset said about to turn away when the two heard a loud voice come from behind them. “ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YOU WERE AMAZING GIRL!” The voice said, causing the two to turn around to see a slightly older woman walking up to them, grinning wildly as her pink hair bounced freely onto her shiekah lab coat, a pair of glasses somehow resting in her frizzy hair.

“CHECK IT! You were an even greater fighter then my little sister here! And I know shes able to preform some amazing feats!” The woman said as she playfully hugged her younger sister. “Speaking of sisters! CADENCE! HOWVE YOU BEEN? I HAVENT SEEN YOU IN AGES GIRL!” She screamed happily, as everyone around her quickly tried to get the hyper active girls high pitched voice to stop ringing their ear drums. “Pinkie Pie, do you really need to talk that loud? You'll awaken the goddess with how loud you are...” Cadence said to Pinkie, who quickly backed away sheepishly.

“Ehem... Anyways, Pinkie Pie, this is... Im sorry, I dont think Ive ever gotten your name... “ Cadence said, slightly embarrassed by the fact. Sunset quickly waved it off, saying, “Its ok. I never had the chance to introduce myself, what with having to run back in to help with the Bokoblins. My name is Sunset, Sunset Shimmer.” Smiling, Cadence extended her hand to shake hers, saying, “Well then, its a pleasure to meet you Miss. Shimmer. As my sister said, my name is Cadence, and her name is Pinkie Pie. We are members of the Shiekah tribe, who serve the Royal Family.” Nodding, Sunset looked over to see the pink woman walk up to her with a more serious face... at least, as serious as one as goofy as her could make, as she examined Sunset.

“Yeah, I was right about you. Your defiantly warrior material for the royal army! You sell yourself short Sunset, but in all my years, Ive never seen anyone able to take on a Moblin with an arrow wound to the stomach slowing them down.” Pinkie Pie said looking over how banged up Sunset got before adding, “In fact, Id say you were above that of a Knave for sure, as most would of given up early on.” Shrugging, Sunset responded with, “When you've lived by yourself for as long as I have, you learn to work past the pain in order to achieve your goal.”

Looking at her sister, Pinkie nodded as Cadence said, “And that is a good reason why you should join our ranks Sunset. We need every warrior available for this war... Do you not know the legend of Calamity Discord?” Shaking her head, Sunset watched as the woman sighed before motioning for her to follow them up the mountain to the Everfree lab, saying, “Then I shall start from the beginning of how this is all coming to past... A few nights ago, our princess received a vision in her sleep...”

A.O.C.

A young woman looked into her mystical orb as she watched the events in Everfree Village play out. “So... She is the reincarnation of The Hero...” She said as she watched the flaming headed woman walk up the hill talking to the other two women. “Gotta say... This is unexpected in so many ways.” She said spinning around to look at images of a young man or boy dressed in a green tunic and a floppy hat battling monsters throughout time before coming to one her ancestor fought along side with after she was split into two beings. Walking forward, she placed her light blue hand onto the image, a young woman with bright blue hair with a spell book by her side, firing lightning from her hands as she and The Hero, wearing a blue scarf, fought against the ancient evil back alongside the Princess of Equestria, as they sealed away The Evil that was Discord, long before he was split from his form and turned into Calamity Discord.

“Hopefully events will stay their course so I wont need to get involved.” She said, blinking her purple eyes as she turned back to the crystal orb to watch The Hero reborn, sighing. “She really is quite cute... Though Im sure like all the other times The Hero’s spirit is destined to be with The Princess...” She said, floating a book over to her as she began flipping over to the newly updated area about this version of The Hero and The Princess only to nearly fall out of her chair at what she read. “Nooooo this cant be...” She said grabbing it and running over to the window to read the info better.

“This... This changes things so much...” She said before looking up, unsure on what to do. “I... I have to tell the Queens about this soon... But not yet. The time isn’t right... “ She said only to hear something outside. Throwing the book back, she walked over to the entrance to the Temple she lived in, peeking outside only to see nothing. “Hmm... Strange... I could of sworn I heard something...” She said, not noticing as a nearby rock began to turn to face her.

A.O.C.

Sunset stepped out of her home, now dressed up in a Equestrian Tunic, Boots, and a Hood and cape on her as she walked over to Cadence, sitting by a cooking pot outside her home. “Now that looks more battle ready Mrs. Shimmer!” Cadence said standing up and walking around the young woman.

“Oh, T-Thank you.” Sunset said. It had been a few hours after Cadence explained the situation to Sunset, telling her about The Princess’s dream. Upon hearing all this, Sunset decided it would be best to at least offer her services to the Equestrian army, though she was still very unsure about her worth to the army in any of this. Grabbing her Traveler Weaponry, she was about to sling everything onto her back when Cadence stopped her. “I wouldnt bother with that gear hun. Those weapons might be good for hunting, but in a war, Im sure they would break minutes into the fight.” She said, leading Sunset over to their caravan.

“FLASH SENTRY!” She yelled out, causing an orange skinned knight with blue hair to suddenly trip over his feet as he ran up to them. “YES MAME!” He yelled standing to attention. “At ease. I need you to get Mrs. Shimmer here some Solider gear for her to travel from here to Canterlot Castle.” Cadence said, taking Sunset’s Travelers gear from her. “Understood. If you would follow me Madame.” Flash said leading her over to a tent filled with swords, shields, bows, large two handed swords, and spears.

“Cadence wants you to have the Solider gear, so lets see what all we have here...” He said as he pulled down a couple of different weapon types. “Id personally go with the spear myself. Im usually able to deal out alot of damage real fast with it.” He said only for a much larger knight to walk in, pulling off his helmet to reveal he had white skin with blond hair. “Thats only cause you don't have the muscle strength to lift up a Claymore!” He said, pulling out the massive Claymore behind his back with one hand and placing it up onto the wall. Sunset rolled her eyes and grabbed a sword and shield along with a bow and slung them onto her back.

“Maybe later Ill give the others a try, but for now I should probably stick to what I know.” She said before handing back the two handed weapons to them before adding, “Thank you for this equipment Flash.” Satisfied, she turned around and walked back out to see Cadence and Pinkie talking more. “Are you certain it will take that long for the Shiekah Slate to be built?” Cadence asked as she took the map from her sister. Pinkie Pie crossed her arms with a frown as she said, “Im not thrilled about disappointing Queen Celestia either, but you just cant rush these kinds of things. We cant activate The Divine Beasts without all the functions at least activated. What if The Divine Beasts malfunctioned and don’t activate, and we were suddenly attacked by Changling’s? Wed be doomed!” She then threw random confetti into the air to get her point across.

Slowly rolling her eyes at her sisters antics, Cadence turned to see Sunset walk up to them. “Sunset, we leave immediately for Canterlot Castle. We need to get this map to Queen Celestia as soon as possible.”

A.O.C.

5 and a Half Years Later...

Sunset sighed as she and the rest of the knights marched out towards Equestria Field, getting ready to listen to The Queen’s speech. It had been like this for the past few years as everyone got ready for this ‘War’ she signed up for. ‘If things don’t start picking up soon, Im probably going to just quit and head back home...’ She thought to herself as she slid her helmet on over her head, her pony tail fully exposed as usual. The past five years had all gone by in a flash for her, long before she was just a teenager, finding any way she could to prove her worth to the Equestrian Army, now finding herself standing there as a proven Knight at the age of twenty-three.

Closing her eyes, she flashed back to the events that had passed by her as she remembered slowly becoming friends with Cadence for the past few years, meeting The Princess on a few occasions, the excavation of The Divine Beasts, and quickly rising up in the ranks to quickly become a full fledged knight, just under the Royal Guard, something very few knights achieved. She even had begun training with some of the other knights, including Flash Sentry and Bulk Biceps, learning how to fight with spears and claymores in case a sword and shield weren't available to her. Even most of The Royal Guard treated her as an equal, all but The Captain of the Royal Guard, Shining Armor, which was understandable given his status. He was the one closest to the queens, a master of all types of weapons, he was tasked with protecting them with his life. Sunset was honestly glad she never made it to that status as such a job sounded to stressful for her. Eventually everyone got into position, turning to face the castle town from the field as Queen Celestia herself walked up to the top of the wall.

“Listen well soldiers of Equestria.” She said, catching everyone’s attention with her loud commanding voice. “In our Long history, we have scarcely faced a threat of this magnitude... The years have passed quickly since Calamity Discord’s revival was prophesied. Yes... We have unearthed The Divine Beasts, and filled volumes with our knowledge of ancient relics...” As she said all of this, all the knights on the field remembered back to the Divine Beasts being found by the Shiekah and the other races of the land, before paying attention again as she continued, “But a barricade of books will not protect us... Because this way surges a horde like we have never faced before.”

She pointed out to the field behind them, adding, “Even now the enemy is clawing for our throat... For Canterlot Castle itself! We must exterminate the monsters roaming Equestria Field! Thus will begin our renewed effort to stop the Calamity!” Drawing out her Royal Claymore, She finally commanded out loud, “HERE NOW, GO FORTH! AND BE BRAVE FOR YOUR KINGDOM!!!” As she raised it skyward, all the knights on the field cheered, drawing their own weapons and aiming them skyward as well.

Sunset bore a serious face as she stood, ready for battle. They then noticed Shining Armor step forward, taking over for the Queen. “YOU HEARD HER BOYS! GET YOUR ASSES IN GEAR AND GET TO YOUR STATIONS! WE GOT A KINGDOM TO PROTECT!” He yelled, pulling out his Royal Guard Sword and pointing it at the battle coming their way. “CHARGE!” He yelled as everyone turned around and ran towards their positions. Sunset ran up to the other side of the ceremonial grounds, quickly drawing both her sword and shield out as she watched an army of Bokoblins running forward, far more then the ones from when she was back defending Everfree.

“Well then, lets get this over with...” She muttered to herself as she ran forward. An Equestrian Captain yelled out to the cannon operators, “FIRE THE CANNONS... NOW! BLAST THOSE BASTARDS OFF THE FIELD!” As soon as the command was heard, the cannons that were placed by the grounds exploded, firing their cannon balls past Sunset, taking about twenty Bokoblins each. “KNIGHTS, KEEP THEM AT BAY WHILE WE RELOAD THE CANNONS!” He yelled out to them. Nodding, Sunset quickly lunged forward, stabbing a few back before swinging her sword around, slicing apart the Bokoblins before unleashing an aerial spin attack, launching her up into the air before pulling out her bow, unleashing a rapid fire of arrows on more Bokoblins about twenty feet away from her.

The moment she landed, she ran forward before leaping, pulling out her shield and shield surfing her way through her enemies. “They better get that cannon loaded soon.” She muttered slashing apart more monsters. By the time she heard what sounded like The Captain getting ready to fire, she had slang over one hundred of them. Ignoring the blood dripping off her, she turned to hear the Captain yell out to close the gates. She turned to look at the gates, grinning as some more Bokoblins as well as a few Moblin's stepped past the gate, only for them to go down.

“Good, now these assholes are trapped!” She said, only to hear the sounds of cannon fire. Sunset watched as the monsters before her exploded into monster parts. “Excellent.” She said before spinning around to see the Queen walk up to The Captain. “It seems we have purged the horde from the Castle. Well fought all!” She congratulated, thinking the battle was over, only for Shining Armor to point out to the left. “MAME! THERE ARE MORE FOUL MONSTERS COMING THIS WAY! HOLD STRONG MEN!” He yelled out, getting into defensive position to defend Celestia, only to see a knight with her ponytail extending from her helmet running up to where he spotted the monsters.

“What is she doing?” He muttered to himself. Sunset grinned as she tore apart the massive amount of Bokoblins running up to her, quickly unleashing a spin attack as she cleared the way for her to get to the Moblin. Before she could do anything however, the monster began swinging his massive club around, forcing her to leap back and forth constantly. Eventually it wore itself out from that, allowing her to unleash a barrage of strikes on it. It quickly found itself overwhelmed by her, granting her time to charge forward and leap into the air, quickly coming down with her sword, stabbing it in the chest, ending its life. “Good Job there!” She heard Shining Armor yell out to her, “Lets use this momentum to take back the outposts!”

Nodding, she charged forward to the nearest outpost, as Celestia watched her. “Hmm, seems we have a Moblin slayer among us.” She said as Sunset entered the keep, charging forward only to stab the massive amount of Bokoblins around her before leaping into the air and swinging her sword in large aerial swings, somehow carrying enough momentum to move forward with each slash before drawing out her bow and firing at any remaining monsters. Suddenly a much larger Bokoblin appeared, screaming as it leapt right at her, hitting her and knocking her on her butt. Growling, she quickly kicked the bokoblin back, leaping onto her feet before charging at it, leaping into a mighty horizontal slash as she cut it in half, capturing the keep for her army.

As she ran forward, she heard someone yell out that the princess’s aide had been spotted on the battle field. “Cadence! I better get to her!” Sunset said to herself as she ran forward, choosing to ignore the Chu Chu’s that appeared on the path and instead get the next Outpost cleared. The moment she entered, she leapt back onto her shield, knocking over as many monsters as she could, quickly spinning around on it to give out some extra damage. “HA HA!” She laughed loudly before getting off it and unleashing another spin attack. She was then knocked back by Boko-Club after Boko-Club before another larger Bokoblin appeared with a spear, screaming as it waved it over its head. Before she got hit though, she put up her shield, bouncing its cheap attack off it, running forward and giving another might slash, cutting its legs off, effectively ending its fight and claiming another keep.

“Another small victory for Equestria!” Sunset said, running further south towards a small village. Upon entering it, she noticed a small purple and green robot laying against a rock, with some butterflies laying on it. As she leaned forward to get a better look at it, she suddenly heard the sound of footsteps rapidly coming this way. Looking up, she spotted Cadence running into the town, carrying something in her hands as she she was chased down by Bokoblins. “CADENCE!” Sunset yelled out to here, catching the attention of the woman. Noticing the fiery pony tail coming out from under the knights helmet, she instantly knew it was a friend, running towards her.

“HELP!” Cadence yelled before tripping over some rubble. As she tripped, Sunset noticed the object she was carrying escaped her grasp, falling forward. “DONT LET IT BREAK SUNSET!” She yelled out, causing the knight to run forward, getting ready to catch it. Unknown to either of them, the object suddenly powered up, causing the little robot to power up as well. Catching it, Sunset ran forward, sword extended as she got ready to slice the Bokoblins apart when the ground suddenly began to shake. “HUH? WHATS GOING ON?” Cadence yelled as Sunset struggled to remain on her feet. “I DON’T KNOW, BUT BE READY FOR ANYTHING!” She shouted, watching the monsters struggle to stay up, before one managed to charge forward, ready to attack when suddenly the ground under them exploded, sending it flying away.

The two woman stood their in shock as a giant tower started climbing out from the ground, until it reached the heavens. “W-What is that?” Sunset said, before helping Cadence up. “It.... Looks like a Tower... “ She said before the two heard something behind them. Turning around, Sunset gasped as the small robot walked over to them, looking around before beeping some tune, the top of its head popping off at every beep. “What... is THAT?” Cadence asked only to hear more Bokoblins make their way over. “Hold that thought. We still have more Bokoblins to deal with.” Turning around, she quickly pulled out her blade, getting ready to run off. “Do you need this?” Sunset asked holding up the object she caught. “Hold onto it for now. Who knows? It might be of use to you now that its activated!” She said before running into another section of the town.

Nodding, Sunset turned back, running more south, noticing the little robot was now following her. ‘Weird. Why is it following me?’ She thought to herself as she took a look at the options she had with this new device. Noticing an icon of a bomb on it, she figured itd be the most combat focused of these abilities it had as she activated it. Suddenly a bomb appeared in her hand. Looking at it, then looking up, she watched as a swarm of Bokoblins were charging straight for her. Without a second thought, she instantly tossed the bomb right at them, only for it to explode upon impact, with a second one appearing in her hand. Grinning, she begun flinging bomb after bomb after bomb at them, blowing them into the afterlife. Expecting another bomb to appear, she flung her arm only for nothing to appear. Blinking in confusion, Sunset looked down at the device only to notice a small timer as ticking down.

“Ah, I cant always rely on this little thing. I still need to use my skills.” She said before running further down, turning to see her fellow knights battling near a giant stone encampment shaped like a skull full of Bokoblins. Looking back at the device to see it was recharged, she grinned as she made another bomb appear. “DUCK!” She yelled to her knights as she flung the bomb forward. The knights watched as the got down as the bomb flew into the camp, exploding on impact as it made the entire base collapse. They cheered in victory as Sunset tossed three more bombs, wiping out the remaining monsters.

“FOR EQUESTRIA!” Sunset yelled raising her sword high as the rest of the knights screamed out with her, “FOR EQUESTRIA!!!” Smiling, she turned and ran back into town towards another outpost, seeing a small squad of enemies standing in her way. Looking down at the device, she took her attention to what appeared to be a lock. “I wonder what this does...” She said, activating it. Looking up, she noticed the monsters were now frozen in time. “Ah, now they cant resist my attacks!” She said running up and began slashing them apart. However, they took no damage, instead they began to glow yellow.

“Huh?” She said in confusion as continued to slash. As she did, she started to hear a timer beeping on the device, all while the more damage she did, the more the color darkened into dark red. Finally the timer ended, releasing the monsters in its hold. Sunset watched as the all suddenly took all the damage she had just inflicted onto them, making them bounce around in one spot before dying. “Now THAT was cool!” She said before looking into the keep, spotting an explosive barrel. Quickly, she pulled back out her bow and arrows, firing one straight at the barrel, causing it to explode, taking out half of the enemy forces in the keep. “BOOM BABY!” She screamed charging in there, ready to obliterate her foes.

A.O.C.

Shining Armor ran forward, slashing another Bokoblin away from the cannons when he looked up, hearing the sound of the Tower rising. Turning to his queen, he yelled out, “YOUR MAJESTY, A GIANT TOWER HAS APPEARED OVER IN THE WEST VILLAGE!” Turning to the west after swinging her weapon, knocking away six monsters, Celestia gasped at the sight. “What in Faust’s name is that?” She said to herself before turning to Shining Armor. “SEND SOLDIERS TO INVESTIGATE THE SITE AT ONCE!” She commanded, with Shining saluting her before turning towards a knight wielding a Soldiers Claymore and another swinging a knight’s sword around.

“YOU TWO! HEAD OVER TO THE TOWER AT ONCE TO INVESTIGATE IT!” He commanded, only for the sound of footsteps to enter their ears. Turning around, he saw the princess’s aid running full force up to them. “YOUR HIGHNESS, THE SHIEKAH SLATE HAS ACTIVATED A TOWER IN THE WEST!” She yelled before skidding up to Queen Celestia. “Your saying this is your doing?” Celestia asked as the young ninja caught her breath. “Kinda. Let me explain....”

A.O.C.

Blasting the Bokoblin’s shield back with her bombs, Sunset gripped her sword tightly as she charged forward, leaping into the air as she delivered an ending blow to the monsters chest. “Phew... theres just so many of them...” She said before turning to the little robot, which was still watching her every move. “Why are you following me?” She asked, only for it to beep at her. Frowning not knowing why she bothered to ask, she turned around only to spot a Bokoblin knock a soldier down, getting ready to deal a final blow to it.

“Crap, Crap, CRAP!” She said out loud, running as fast as she could, only to look at the screen of the object she was carrying, seeing an ice symbol on it. “I wonder what this does...” She said, activating it, only to be launched into the air as a block of ice appeared under her. “SHIT!” She yelled only to realize she had a good shot at it now, pulling out her arrows and launching a barrage on it, causing it to fall to the ground now tore apart from the wounds it received. After she landed, she ran over and helped the knight up, recognizing him as Flash Sentry. “You alright there soldier?” She asked pulling him up. Nodding, Flash quickly pulled out an apple and took a bite out of it. “I am now, Thanks to you Sunset.”

Grinning, she turned and ran through the town gate only to see a patrol of blue Bokoblins. Suddenly the one in the back of the group pulled out a blow horn, signaling them. Before Sunset had a chance to act, they all took their clubs and hurled them right at her, knocking her back through the gate. “Mother FUCKERS!” She yelled before activating her bombs and threw all four of her bombs at the patrol, blowing them to atoms. Frustrated that she got hit, she noticed more blue ones were further away, standing near an explosive barrel.

Running forward, she quickly made a block of ice appear under her, launching her sky high before pulling out her arrows again. “SO LONG PIECES OF SHIT!” She yelled as she unleashed her arrows on the barrel, causing it to explode and burn them all to ash. Landing, she panted as the little robot walked up to her and patted her on the foot. Giving a soft smile, she looked up to see a path leading left, with more blue Bokoblins standing in formation ready to toss more clubs at her. Sighing, she ran forward, quickly pulling out the object as she activated the lock icon on them, freezing them in time. Without a moment to loose, she ran forward and began hacking and slashing at their bodies before unleashing an aerial spin attack, putting the glow on them to the max. The moment she landed, the timer ran out causing the Bokoblins to instantly take all the damage at once, killing them instantly.

Nodding at her handy work of them, she ran into the small outpost behind them, noticing all the enemies were standing behind a fountain. Without a moment to loose, she leapt into the air, bringing her shield down and sliding forward, knocking every red Bokoblin out of her way. As soon as she was back on her feet, she quickly shield bashed on in the face before spinning around to slash another’s arm off. As she was busy battling the monsters around her, she failed to see a larger Bokoblin appear from behind a small shop, spear in hand, as it charged at her, knocking her back a few feet.

“Cheap shot.” She grunted, her helmet being knocked off, exposing her face to them. She watched as it screamed out at her before swinging its weapon over its head. Not giving it the chance to hit her, she quickly pulled out her bow, launching a few arrows at it, not enough to take it down, but enough to make it quit the attack. Screaming more, the Bokoblin charged at her again, only for Sunset to activate the ice power in the device she had, causing a block of ice to appear under her, causing it to run straight into it. The moment it became stunned, she unleashed a barrage of sword swings, before coming down with an ending blow from the air, slicing it in half as she came down hard.

A.O.C.

“I see...” Celestia said as Cadence finished filling her in. “We shall have Pinkie Pie and Starlight study this tower as soon as possible.” Nodding, Cadence turned around ready to receive orders from her queen when the air around them began to heat up. “Do you feel that?” Celestia asked before the two of them notices a barrage of fire attacks coming from the east. “A FIRE WIZZROBE!” Celestia shouted, only for Cadence to run forward to it. “I WILL HANDLE THIS YOUR MAJESTY!” She yelled as she ran over to it. As she reached it, she had to quickly dodge its flame wave attack as she quickly summoned her shadow clones, and proceeded to slash its body apart at blinding speeds, before leaping into the air and slashing it with a massive stabbing motion, taking its life.

Nodding at her victory, she turned and ran into the small farm land behind the Wizzrobe. Running down the path, she noticed their were Lizalfoes lying around the path, attempting to blend in with the area around them. “How pathetic.” Cadence said as she had her clones slash them apart as she made her way to an outpost near her. The moment she entered, she saw Lizalfoes leap at her from all around. Before they had a chance to attack her, Cadence quickly performed some hand signs, yelling out, “STEEL YOURSELF!” Before vanishing into thin air as her clones began placing barrels where she stood, stacking them up before she reappeared. “I AM READY.” She yelled before making the barrels explode, taking most of the enemies out instantly.

Turning around, she saw a much larger Lizalfoes charge at her. Before it could hit her however, she vanished again, leaving only her hat in the air, only to have her clones appear all around it. Suddenly they all charged it, slashing it apart until Cadence reappeared, catching her hat as she made a backwards slashing motion, slashing it head off. “The tide of the battle is shifting in our favor!” She said in victory before seeing Sunset run up a bridge across the river. “Hopefully Sunset can finish this in one fell swoop...”

A.O.C.

“THIS IS BAD! MORE MOBLIN’S HAVE APPEARED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RIVER!” Bulk Biceps yelled out as he combated more Blue Bokoblins around him. “ILL HANDLE THEM!” Sunset yelled as she slaughtered her way through more enemies, making her way over to the bridge. Before she could get on it, she was suddenly hit by a fire wave. “GAH!!!” She yelled before turning around to see a fire Wizzrobe laughing about her pain.

“Oh your SO GONNA GET IT!” She yelled before running straight at it. Right as she was about to reach it, it fired another flame attack, only for Sunset on pure adrenaline, side stepped it, before flying full force at it. She proceeded to beat the ever living hell out of it only to yank out the device and activated the final icon, a magnet. Suddenly a magnet appeared in Sunsets hand as giant pieces of metal lying around on the field flew towards her magnet, only to be suspended before her. She began to wave the metal objects around her, smacking the Wizzrobe all over until it fell into the water, instantly having it die from its flames being put out. Turning back toward the other side of the bridge, Sunset and the little robot continued to make their way over to it, only for Sunset to spot another explosive barrel next to a tree house with Bokoblins on it. Without even thinking, she quickly pulled out her bombs before throwing the first one at it, blowing up the surrounding monsters as well as their tree house, before turning to throw the rest at more monsters getting ready to attack her.

Looking past the bodies, she noticed the Moblin’s were making their way over to her. Running forward, she saw one of them was charging at her with a spear, ready to knock her back. “Oh no you don’t!” She snapped before making an ice block appear, launching her into the air as the Moblin ran right into it. Ceasing her chance, she quickly performed a downward thrust, stabbing it in the heart before leaping off it, flipping blood off her blade. She then pulled out her arrows and began firing at the second Moblin, only to notice another barrel was near it. Grinning, she shot the barrel, causing it to explode, burning the Moblin to ash. “Two down... One to go...” She said before turning to the final Moblin, only to get knocked down by a Bokoblin flying into her.

Standing back up, she noticed the Moblin was laughing at her getting hit by its attack and frowned. Pulling out the device, she instantly froze it in time before charging it, stabbing it up until the timer ran out. The Moblin instantly fell from its wounds, allowing Sunset a moment to relax. Before she got to enjoy it though, she watched more Bokoblins running up to her... Only to run past her, screaming in fear. Panting, she turned to see Cadence run up to her smiling. “We did it! We won the battle!” She said cheerfully hugging Sunset. The two women laughed in the hug before turning to the little robot.

“Well little guy, I don't really know where you come from, but I know two people that can help us out here.” She said as the robot beeped more. “You mean your sister and Starlight?” Sunset asked as she put her weapons away. “Correct!” Cadence said, only for the two to watch the robot turn and run away toward the Castle. “Huh? Wait! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?” Cadence yelled out as they quickly took chase after it.

A.O.C.

Celestia sighed as her soldiers returned from the field, drained from the battle they had just finished. “Good work. All of you! You make Canterlot proud with your bravery!” She said, receiving a collective grunt of approval from them. Looking past them, she watched Cadence and Sunset running past them chasing a small white robot. Leaning towards The Captain of the Royal Guard, she whispered, “Bring that knight to my court when you see she’s not busy. I feel I must congratulate her with a promoted status.”

“As you wish your majesty.” Shining Armor said with a bow before turning to tend to those who were wounded in the battle. Unknown to anyone, The Princess was slowly making her way out of the castle toward them all. Twilight sighed as she looked at the back of her hand, the Midday sun shinning on her. For five long years, Twilight had trained for the day her mothers had swore will unfortunately come to pass, the rise of Calamity Discord. Her birth mother, Queen Luna, had done everything possible to teach her child the power of sealing, but alas, Twilight just couldn’t get it right. Despite all her knowledge, despite being the power being her birth right, Twilight was unable to figure out how to activate her power, and everyone was beginning to see it.

Sighing, she looked up at where she was going only to see her protector, Cadence, running up to her along with Lady Sunset coming up after her. She was about to ask why they were running to her when suddenly she was knocked onto the ground pretty roughly. “AHH!” She screamed landing on her back, only to start hearing some beeping coming from... Whatever just hit her. Sitting up, she looked down to see a small purple and green Guardian looking up at her, beeping at her. “Oh my... Where did you come from?” She asked as it looked up at her. Suddenly she saw it being raised into the air by Sunset as Cadence quickly helped her up.

“I am so sorry about the Princess!” Sunset said as she pulled the little robot back, “I have no idea why it ran right for you.” Nodding, Twilight brushed her dress off and turned to the slightly older then her knight. “That is quite alright Lady Sunset. Im sure it was just an accident.” She said as the trio watched the robot continue trying to worm its way out of the knight’s hands to get to Twilight. “Ill admit, it does look kind of cute. May I?” She asked, holding her hands out to Sunset. Looking between the Princess and the Guardian, Sunset nodded and carefully handed the tiny machine over to her. “Oh wow!” Twilight said as she examined it, only to see a small name printed on it, right above its eye.

“SP1K3? Is that what your called?” She asked, only for it to look like the robot nodded, and began beeping at her. As the group watched it, Cadence noticed the Shiekah Slate, now strapped to Sunset’s waist, began to glow. “Sunset, the Shiekah Slate, may I see it?” Cadence asked the knight. “Huh? Oh, sure!” She said removing it from her person and handing it back to Cadence, who then flipped it over to the screen, only to look up at SP1K3, watching it glow in time with it beeping. “LADY SUNSET!” The trio heard, spinning around to face Shining Armor as he walked forward towards them.

“Her Majesty would like to see you in her Court later for your heroism on the battle field today!” He said with as high of authority as he was aloud, while removing his Royal Guard Cap to show his respect to her and The Princess. “Very well Commander.” She said before turning towards Cadence and Twilight. “Ill see you both later. Im gonna try and get out of this armor for abit before seeing The Queen.” She said before walking away towards the knights quarters.

“What do you think Mother Celestia will do for Lady Sunset?” Twilight asked as she turned and started returning to her bed room to prepare for her next training session. “Knowing her, a promotion to Royal Guard for her bravery today!” Cadence said, the two giggling as they entered the building.
