A Special Gathering
It’s the holiday season in Equestria. And, everypony is enjoying the atmosphere. The peaceful village of Ponyville is covered in a beautiful blanket of snow. Many of the houses are decorated for Hearth’s Warming.
Inside the mansion of the Rich family, Filthy Rich and Spoiled Rich, Along with their daughter, Diamond Tiara, decorated their home for a big holiday party. The Williams kids are helping out.
“Thank you for helping us with the decorating.” Spoiled Rich praised.
“You’re welcome, Mrs. Rich.” Megan said happily. “This is indeed an honor for us.”
“Yeah.” Danny added. “It’s not everyday that we help out one of the richest families in Equestria.”
“I wouldn’t go that far.” Filthy Rich informed. “But, thanks for the compliment.”
Molly finished wrapping garland around the stairs when she thought of something. “I wonder where Twilight and her friends are.”
“They are spending time in Manehatten.” Spoiled informed. “They have no idea that we’re having them join the fun.”
“WHAT?” The three human kids yelped.
“That’s right.” Diamond added. “This party is a surprise for them. I already have Silver Spoon and the Cutie Mark Crusaders to join us.”
Minutes later outside, wearing their winter gear, Megan and her brother and sister make their own plans.
“Spoiled Rich said that we can invite other special ponies to join the party.” Megan said. “This will really surprise the Mane Six.”
“Okay, sis.” Danny said, ready for action. “What’s the plan?”
Megan turned to her sister. “Molly, you head over to Canterlot and talk to Magpiepony and The Lost Narrator.”
“That’s right.” Molly realized. “Those mares are spending time with Celestia and Luna.”
Megan then turns to her brother. “Danny, I’m sending you to Everfree Forest to find Lightning Bliss and Shadow Rush.”
“Gotcha.” Danny replied. “That forest is probably a nice change of pace for Lightning Bliss. Probably better than Shadow Rush’s Modiverse home.”
“And,” Megan continued, “since Applejack is at Manehattan, Scribbler is helping out at Sweet Apple Acres. I’ll pass the invitation to her.”
The three put their hands in the middle, wishing each other good luck. A chariot dropped Molly off at Canterlot.
“Thanks for the lift, Sir.” Molly said politely.
“Anything for a legendary friend.” The armored Pegasus replied.
As the chariot took off, Molly thought of the comment. Legendary friend. I guess Megan, Danny, and I are legendary in some ways
As Molly looks around Canterlot, she spots a bright pink unicorn with a black tail and mane, both of which have a white stripe.
“Magpiepony!” Molly cheered.
“Molly!” The unicorn called out.
The two friends soon hugged each other.
“What are you doing in Canterlot, Molly?” Magpiepony asked.
“Looking for you.” Molly told her.
“Me?”
“Right. Spoiled Rich is setting up her mansion for a holiday party. And, you and Lost are invited to join the fun.”
“Did somebody mention me?” Said a female voice.
The voice belonged to another female unicorn. This one is dark grey with a red mane and tail. She also wore glasses.
“Lost Narrator!” Molly gasped.
The Lost Narrator came over to join the conversation. “Does the Mane Six know of this?”
“No.” Molly answered. “They’re at Manehatten right now. It’ll be a nice surprise for them if you two can come over to the Rich mansion. That’s where the party is at.”
The living couple gave Molly a response. “We’re in!” They said at the same time.
This made Molly happy. Meanwhile, Danny walked around Everfree Forest, looking for the ponies he’s ready to invite.
“Lightning Bliss! Shadow Rush!” Danny called. “Where are you guys?”
In the sky, a white alicorn with a black mane and tail flew in. The tail is skinny and long with a rainbow fuzzy end. The Mane has rainbow stripes on the sides, and she wears goggles.
“Danny!” The alicorn shouted happily.
She then lands in front of Danny. He was surprised to see this alicorn who’s a little smaller than him.
“Lightning Bliss!” Danny squealed. “Good to see you.”
Danny and Lightning hugged each other. Lightning was very curious. “What brings you here?”
“You and Shadow Rush are invited to a holiday party at Spoiled Rich’s mansion.” Danny explained.
Suddenly, a black Pegasus with a red and white striped mane and tail flew in. Danny knows him by his unique hat. The Pegasus is indeed Shadow Rush.
“Did I hear about a holiday party?” Shadow asked.
“That’s right, Shadow Rush.” Danny answered. “The Mane Six will be happily surprised when you two are there.”
Lightning Bliss and Shadow Rush looked at each other, and know that this is a good idea. At Sweet Apple Acres, Megan arrived to do her part.
“What brings y’all here?” Granny Smith asked as she saw her coming. “Applejack is at Manehattan with all of her friends.”
“I know that, Granny Smith.” Megan replied. “I heard that Scribbler is here.”
“Ya mean that black earth pony with a blue and purple mane and tail, and with quill pens for cutie marks?”
“That’s her.” Megan cheered. “Is she here?”
Granny lets Megan in the house. “Yes, she is. Come in.”
In the living room, Scribbler is resting on the couch when Megan came in.
“Hello, Megan.” Scribbler greeted. “What do I owe the honor of your appearance?”
“Scribbler,” Megan said, “Spoiled Rich invited you to her mansion for a holiday party. Others have also been invited.”
“What others are you talking about?” Scribbler wondered.
“Also invited are Magpiepony, Shadow Rush, Lightning Bliss, and The Lost Narrator. Including you, this make five.”
Scribbler raised an eyebrow. “Five, huh?”
Just then, a crimson pony with a red and magenta striped mane and tail walked in. She also has on a green sweater as she adds to Scribbler’s comment. “Better make that six.”
Megan was shocked to see this extra visitor. “Brook, the Book Horse?!”
“That’s me.” Brook replied. “I’d like to attend this party as well.”
Later that day, the sun sets in Ponyville as Twilight and her friends return for their trip to Manehattan.
“Whew! That was some trip we had.” Applejack said.
“You said it.” Dash agreed. “The whole city looked festive. Even to me.”
“I’m very happy that you guys enjoyed our little trip.” Twilight praised.
Soon, the six friends made their way to the Rich Mansion.
“Are you sure about this, Twilight?” Rarity asked.
“I’m sure about it, Rarity.” Twilight replied. “The message I received said that all six of us should come to this place.”
“You know I don’t fit in with the rich crowd.” Rainbow Dash protested. “Rarity and Fluttershy maybe. But, the likes of Applejack, Pinkie, and me don’t.”
“Come on, Dashie. Just try to get along tonight.”
The Mane Six entered the mansion, and saw the place decorated with lights, garland, and other such items. Filthy and Spoiled Rich came out to greet them.
“Howdy, ladies.” Filthy Rich greeted. “Welcome to our holiday party.”
“A party?!” Pinkie gasped. “And, you didn’t tell me?”
“Don’t blame us, Pinkie.” Applejack said.
“We wanted to put together a holiday festival while you were gone.” Spoiled explained. “And, we had some help.”
Spoiled motioned someone to come. Twilight was surprised to see who’s coming.
“Megan!” Twilight gasped.
Megan stepped out wearing a lavender long sleeve gown with blue stripes on the bottom, and black platform shoes.
“Happy Hearth’s Warming, Twilight.” Megan said as she curtsys to the Princess of Friendship. “Look who else is here.”
The Mane Six spotted Danny, wearing a blue tuxedo with a black bow tie and black shoes. Joining him is Molly, wearing a red long sleeve ruffled shirt, and a yellow skirt going down to below the knee. She’s also wearing teal shoes.
“You kids look very elegant.” Rarity praised.
“Thank you, Rarity.” Danny replied as he bowed.
“And,” Molly added, “here are a few more surprises.”
The Mane Six got the shock of their lives when the six ponies the Williams kids invited arrived at the scene.
TWILIGHT SPARKLE: Brook, the Book Horse!
RAINBOW DASH: Lightning Bliss!
PINKIE PIE: Shadow Rush!
RARITY: Magpiepony!
APPLEJACK: Scribbler!
FLUTTERSHY: The Lost Narrator!
Lightning Bliss soon spoke out. “Surprised?”
“Shocked is more like it.” Twilight replied. “We didn’t expect the six of you to be here.”
“We’re sure you didn’t.” Scribbler said.
“You can thank Megan and her siblings for bringing us here.” Shadow Rush said proudly. “This way, this party will be very enjoyable.”
“I’m with you, Shadow Rush.” Lost added.
Twilight and her friends are very happy with this. The party went well as the guests get along with each other. Rainbow Dash belched after she guzzled down some cider.
“Ugh!” Lightning Bliss yelled. “How can you tolerate that, Rarity?”
“Believe me, darling.” Rarity answered. “It’s not easy.”
Pinkie watched the magic of Shadow Rush’s hat.
“That’s quite a hat you got there, Shadow.” Pinkie chirped.
“I’m glad you like it, Miss Pinkie.” Shadow said.
Twilight and Brook talk about their favorite books. Applejack spend time with Magpiepony and The Lost Narrator, hearing about their marriage. Fluttershy has a talk with Scribbler.
“I heard that you have some new Pony Tales in the works.” Fluttershy said.
“That I have.” Scribbler replied. “You’ll be amazed.”
Meanwhile, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Molly, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders spend time with each other, talking about the time they cleaned up a playground.
“You look very dapper, my boy.” Filthy Rich said to Danny.
“Thank you, Sir.” Danny replied. “Got to dress to impress.”
“And, I appreciate you showing elegance too.”
Danny bows proudly as Megan and Spoiled Rich watch everything going on.
“This is going to be one great holiday event.” Megan said happily.
“Megan, my dear,” Spoiled responded, “I agree. And, you are always a welcome sight anywhere.”
Megan and Spoiled Rich hugged each other warmly. This is indeed a splendid holiday party.
