On an ordinary day like any other, I receive the most unusual package in the form of two golden-plated bracelets. Slipping them on, I didn't expect to get sent to another world or transformed into a hot-smoking blonde. Can't catch a break, can I?

Okay, so quick recap: originally I had a pretty decent life on Earth albeit with parents who often busy with work and whatnot. One day while I was enjoying breakfast, a pair of golden-plated bracelets arrived on my doorstep and I accidentally made a mistake of slipping them on. Now I'm on another world as a hot-smoking blonde who isn't just a powerhouse but also has a pair of shotgun-styled gauntlets. I just can't catch a break, can I?

Oh, and I forgot to mention one other thing: I lost my memories too.

Life’s a bitch sometimes, ain’t it folks? Let me pose a question to all – ever wonder when that certain day would arrive? The day when things go to the shitter and your whole life is turned upside down? – Well, surprise, surprise… I had one of those days unfortunately.

How did it begin you all ask? Well, it started over breakfast… after taking a shower and fixing my short light brown hair in the mirror, I went to put on my everyday clothes - a white short-sleeve dress shirt with red tie, grey jeans, black boots and black fingerless gloves.

My parents weren’t home unfortunately, so it was just me the entire day… sometimes I wonder if they care more about work than spending time with me. Don’t get me wrong, I love them… but they are never home. It’s been like this for as long as I can remember.

My blue-colored eyes scanned the environment (the kitchen) for worthy prey (anything edible) but came up short. After some more searching, I found enough materials to make a sandwich.

Fetching two pieces of bread, some cheese and meat – I plopped them in the toaster oven and let its magic work while I poured myself some juice. I wondered what might be on TV. I hoped it was something good like Danny Phantom or SpongeBob SquarePants.

A ‘DING’ noise occurred as my toasted sandwich was ready. I was so hungry I could’ve eaten a horse… figuratively speaking, of course. Putting the toast on a plate and taking my cup of juice, I went to the couch and turned on the TV only to get interrupted by the doorbell ringing.

I was frustrated to be interrupted from my impending meal, but decided to go see if it was important. It would have been unusual for the mailman or a UPS guy to drop off a package so early in the morning, but not unheard of. If they were coming to the door, that usually meant they needed something signed.

Opening the door, I was stunned to learn that there was no one… except for a simple box laying on the ground. It didn’t have a sender but a simple note that read:

‘From Unknown to you – use it wisely.’

I opened the box and saw a pair of bracelets inside with a golden-yellow color scheme. Was this some kind of joke? I certainly hadn’t ordered anything and the lack of return address was suspicious. I debated with myself for a moment before taking them inside. They didn’t look like they could be a bomb and I admit my curiosity got the better of me.

After closing the door and putting the box away, I examined the bracelets again. There was something odd about them. Something I couldn’t quite place my finger on. This sense of strangeness just encouraged my curiosity more.

Against my better judgement, I equipped them on both hands and surprisingly they were very light. Both fit perfectly… almost like they were some sort of custom job, made just for me.

Before I could think about it further, I began getting a massive headache as my vision blurred. I had no idea what was going on. Why was my head hurting so suddenly? I didn’t usually suffer headaches, but this one came on with no warning and hit like a truck.

I went looking for aspirin when suddenly a wave of drowsiness washed over me. I felt sluggish…tired…so sleepy…

My vision got blurry as my eyes began to close – as much as I tried to rage against it, I fell unconscious.

(??? – Unknown time.)

The young man was falling through the darkness in an unconscious state. As he fell through the void, his body began changing.

His short light brown hair was growing a bit and changed its colors – from light brown to bright golden long hair that faded to pale gold at the tips with a cowlick sticking out at the top. The next change was his or should I say her body – all of her masculine parts were being sucked in her body while two breasts grew on her chest along with her height reaching 1.73 meters.

Her white short-sleeve dress shirt with a red tie and grey jeans was replaced with a tan jacket with orange lining and gold edging, unzipped halfway to show an orange crop top. The coat had darker brown short sleeves, a thick collar that completely encircled her neck and two long gold-trimmed rectangular tails and fitted black pants. Around her hips and over the tails of her coat was a brown belt which had two pieces of dark brown material trimmed in gold attached to it. The first covers from her left hip to the back of the belt and is folded over the belt, and the second is attached from the right hip and almost around to the other piece of material.

Her black boots had transformed into knee-high brown boots with gold caps on the heel and toe with the heel cap attaching to a gold strap across the front of her ankle and a gold zipper on the upper half of the front of the boots. A single small, buckled strap is on the upper outside of her boots, and a purple bandanna tied around her left knee. A pair of black fingerless gloves with long brown cuffs reaching to mid-forearm complete the outfit. Most interestingly was replacement on her right arm – a metal arm robotic arm prosthesis which was black and yellow.

As she continued falling through the darkness, she soon fell into a portal and went straight for the light.

(Unknown world – early afternoon…)

The girl’s eyes cracked slowly opened as she overheard the chirping in the sky. From the looks of things, she was in some kind… of field? Her head was hurting very much and for some reason her body didn’t feel like it usually did. Something was definitely wrong.

“Did anyone sip anything in those drinks last night…” She whispered to herself but then froze when she realized…

“Where am I? Who am I? Oh God, I can’t remember…” She felt the panic rising in her. This was all a bad dream… it had to be! People didn’t just wake up in fields with no memories! But as she got a feeling for her surroundings, she knew this couldn’t be a dream.

“WHAT’S GOING ON!?” She screamed, furry filling her. She’d been kidnapped!

Of course, rage couldn’t last forever. Fury gave way to fear. The shock and stress of being sent to this field and turned into a girl caught up with her and she broke down crying. “This sucks… this sucks.”

She hugged herself in her knees and cried some more. She had no idea where she was, who had done this to her, or what to do. The feelings of helplessness continued cycling around for a long while.

Once she had cried herself out, she sighed and stood up, checking herself over to make sure she was in one piece. Yellowish-golden hair, lilac eyes, a jacket, pants, robotic arm… Wait, what?

The woman paused as she stared at her robotic prosthesis on her right arm. She could still feel the arm, so she assumed it was some kind of specialized armor. What kind of things had she been up to for her to need something like that?

She sighed and shook her head. “Can this day get any weirder?” She asked herself.

What was she supposed to do now exactly? Try and find a way back home; search for civilization… Those were the only options she had-

Just then she felt a huge earthquake and was shocked. “What’s going on!?” She wondered before noticing a huge explosion in the distance.

It was a village that was looking worse for wear due to some of the buildings being destroyed and such. What should she do? Go and find help quickly or investigate this herself?

“I don’t know why… but I have a bad feeling I’m going to regret this!” The woman told herself before heading straight for the village to check if anyone was still alive.

This was a very bad idea since she had no idea what she was going to do… but she would try, nevertheless.

Status... Angry!

"Why on Earth am I doing this again, damn it? I don't even know why the hell I'm doing this in the first place!" The blonde woman admitted as she continued to run and run to where that explosion came from. Some inner part of her demanded she help those in need. Add memory loss to the equation and things would get very messy…

But there in laid a big problem - what was she going to do exactly? She wasn't a fighter nor did she have the skills or tools to take on opponents! Or maybe she was and she just couldn’t remember it. Whatever the case, her brain couldn't stop her legs from running towards the possible danger.

More explosions were occurring which meant one thing - something bad was happening. Soon she cleared the trees and could get a better look at what was going on.

What she saw made her jaw dropped - the most messed up biological creation was snapping its fingers and using what seemed to be magic to conjure the forces of nature. This was helping it out a lot in destroying the entire town with a cackle. "Ah! What a grand day for chaos!" It declared – humor in its tone.

He was having way too much fun ruining this town and hurting its inhabitants. That wasn’t alright with her! It was time to break up his little celebration and possibly save the day… if she could avoid dying.

"Hey, knock it off!" She shouted at the creature – anger visible on her face.

The creature stopped what it was doing and looked away from the chaos to see a blond-haired woman with lilac eyes who was glaring hard at him. "Oh, what's this? Who dares challenge the might of the most powerful creature ever?" He asked in an amused tone.

"I'm that person, you jerk!" She snapped at him before issuing a demand. "Now stop ruining these people's lives!"

The abomination stared at her as if she was crazy before breaking down in laughter. "HA, HA, HA, HA, HA! Oh, my goodness - you are telling me to stop? You are telling me stop?" He asked the blonde whilst laughing.

"I'm pretty sure that's what I said" She replied in a calm tone but with the anger still there.

The creature continued to laugh before it developed a serious face. "And how pray tell are you going to stop me? The spirit of Chaos and Disharmony? Me, the dark lord of the damned! Me - Discord!" Discord declared with an amused but serious face.

"I haven't quite worked that part out yet, but I'm working on it." She answered even though she didn’t have anything prepared on defeating Discord.

Discord became unamused. "You must be either stupid or dense... maybe both." He told her.

"Say you'll stop or I'll introduce your ugly face to my fist!" She threatened and raised her fists to which Discord snorted began to laugh once again.

"Bwhahahahahaha! Your fist!? Oh, you must be joking, surely?" He asked with a raised brow.

"Well, don't say I didn't warn you!" She took a swing at the self proclaimed 'lord of the damned'. Unfortunately, it was a very weak one and soon she was swatted away like a small bug.

"You are beginning to bore me, little girl." Discord growled at the little pest.

The woman got up and glared at the creature. "Coming from an abomination like you... I can tell you were never loved by your parents." She stated and cracked a grin despite the circumstances.

Discord's eyes glowed red at the insult. He could handle the minor insults and petty threats… but that comment about his parents? That crosses the line!!! She was dead!

"You're gonna pay for that, little brat!" Discord declared before grabbing her by the throat and sending her flying towards a tree.

She crashed into it hard, but for some odd reason it didn't hurt as much as she expected it too...actually, she was feeling a bit stronger for some reason.

All of this made the woman chuckled much to Discord's irritation and confusion.

"What, pray tell, is so funny?" Discord sneered in anger.

"I dunno about you...but that punch didn't hurt me as much as I expected it to be... in fact, I feel a little bit stronger and more angry." The woman admitted as she began to feel powered up.

"Oh? Then try this!" Discord said before summoning a baseball bat to hit her. It shattered against her, but again, it didn't hurt much and she felt more power coursing through her.

The woman began to grin and then something unexpected happened. The bracelets that she wore transformed into golden gauntlets with red-orange shells inside of them. "Whoa!" She declared in a surprised tone.

"Why won't you stay down?!" Discord raged. This was definitely not how it was supposed to go down!

"Stay down!? Buddy, you don't seem to understand something... I'M JUST GETTING WARMED UP!" The woman declared as she felt fire all around her before using the gauntlet to launch herself at Discord and issue multiple hits into his torso.

Discord was shocked at being physically assaulted and took the attacks in full view. "This... isn't... HAPPENING!!!" The creature screamed in full pain.

"Oh, but it is! You bully people, you better expect some justice!" She shouted with a grin.

Discord teleported away and transformed into a copy of the blonde. "So, you still eager to take on the god of Chaos and Disharmony?" He said in her cloned body – even replicating her voice.

"You bet I am!" She roared, her rage at full throttle.

The copy of the blonde charged forward and prepared to assault her yet wasn't expecting the original to break the illusion and complete turn back into Discord.

She didn't give Discord a second chance to get away. She hammered him relentlessly until she was sure he was knocked out.

"You... you..." Discord spoke his last words before getting knocked out by the blonde. He was looking pretty worse for wear… not even he didn’t expect this outcome.

"And stay down..." She said as she breathed heavily from her exertion.

Well... that's done it. She saved the day even though she had no clue what she was going against in the first place though. As she tried to recover, the residents of this world hesitantly approached her.

The woman got up slowly yet crumbled to the ground and released heavy breaths of exhaustion. She couldn't even do anything as they gathered around her and her vision slowly faded to black.

Meet and Greet!

The blonde’s eyes cracked slowly open as she released a minor set of groans in response to awakening. “My head feels like hell right now...” She complained out loud before stretching her arms and trying to stifle a yawn with one of her hands.

Where was she exactly...? It seemed to be a bedroom of sorts. Which meant that she was in someone’s home… but what happened to that Discord creature? Was he beaten or was he still running around?

Apparently, someone must have heard her moving around because the door opened a few moments later and the mystery person entered the room.

“Oh, my! You’re awake!” The person in question that spoke this was a girl with long pink hair that covered one of her teal eyes. She wore a sleeveless blonde dress with a short-sleeved gray jacket while a pair of brown sandals adorned her fair-skinned feet.

Needless to say, the blonde was stunned by the appearance of this... this... beautiful woman. She could even sense her heart beating faster. She hoped she wasn't staring rudely, but she couldn't help herself if she was.

“Umm...” The woman with pink-colored hair commented to break the awkwardness between them.

"Oh, I'm sorry! Thank you for taking care of me." The blonde said with a small smile on her face.

“W-welcome. I’m Fluttershy... and you are?” The pink-haired girl known as Fluttershy wondered about the name.

The blonde was in trouble now... she didn’t have a clue on what her name was!

"I, um, I actually don't remember my name." She replied bashfully and rubbed the back of her head.

“Oh! Oh no... I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to bring it up! I’m sorry!” She apologised while releasing a huge wave of tears.

"No, please don't cry! I'm sure my name was something silly and I probably hated it!" She tried to comfort Fluttershy only to make things even worse as she continued to cry even more.

Why did she have to be so bad with crying women?!The blonde didn’t know what to do to make Fluttershy calm down...

In desperation and quick thinking, the blonde hugged Fluttershy as tight as she could. "I'm sorry, please calm down. I hate seeing you cry." She admitted.

Despite all of the crying, Fluttershy was surprised by the hug as she wiped the tears away. “I’m sorry...” She said softly.

"I'm sorry too…" The blonde replied with a sad frown.

“For what? You’ve done nothing wrong...” Fluttershy said with a confused look.

"I made you upset…" The blonde replied – her voice cracking up a bit. "That's reason enough to apologize."

Fluttershy felt a little guilty and muttered a simple. “But...”

"Can we start over?" The blonde asked with a hopeful look.

Fluttershy nodded and wiped her tears away. “I’d like that.” She agreed with a small but sad smile.

"Alright, well I'm pleased to meet you, Fluttershy." The blonde greeted with her own smile.

“Likewise. Though... I just wish I could call you by your name... I bet it’s a nice name.” Fluttershy commented.

"Well, why don't you pick a name for me? I'm sure any name you pick will be great!" The blonde encouraged the pinkette.

“O-oh! Ummm... okay. Are you sure though?” Fluttershy asked - her tone had a hint of hesitation.

"Well, it's better than being called 'hey you' or 'girl'," She pointed out and the pinkette had to admit that it was a good point from her companion.

“Hmm...” Fluttershy began to think of what to call this mystery person

The blonde waited patiently for her new name. She didn’t really care about it in particular. It was just to make sure that Fluttershy wouldn’t have another crying episode. She hated seeing a cute girl like that get- Wait… did she just think that Fluttershy was cute again?

“Hmmm... Ooh! Will Natsumi work for you? I can call you Natsu for short until we can figure out what your real name is.” Fluttershy stated.

"Sure thing!" The newly dubbed Natsumi agreed. She turned the name over in her head…Natsu. For some reason, it had a perfect ring to it… it sounded like a fighter’s name.

Fluttershy nodded before she looked away for some reason, much to Natsu’s worry. Did she say something wrong?

"What's wrong, Fluttershy?" Natsu asked in a worried tone.

“Umm... I... like your hair.” Fluttershy admitted and didn’t even stop the blush from appearing on her cheeks.

Natsu blushed as well at that statement and replied. "Thank you."

“W-welcome. Oh, thanks for saving us from Discord.” Fluttershy thanked the blonde fighter who just shrugged.

"I don't think I did anything special. The guy was a jerk… using his magic to threaten you all. He was a monster and I had to stop him… it was the right thing to do." Natsu stated.

“But you saved Ponyville! You’re a hero!” Fluttershy replied.

"Really?" Natsu asked in surprise – she didn’t expect to be called a hero today.

“Mhm. All my friends and I saw you fight off Discord... ooh! Do you normally allow the fire to spread to your hair?” Fluttershy wondered with a curious expression.

"I don't remember…" Natsu admitted before realizing something. "Funnily enough, I don't remember anything, actually. I’m sorry…" She apologized.

“Ooh! Memory loss?! Oh, I’m sorry...” Fluttershy apologised yet again as the tears built up in her eyes yet Natsu wasn’t having that.

"Please don't cry," Natsu begged as she placed a hand on the pinkette’s shoulder.

Fluttershy sniffed as she wiped the tears away. “I’m sorry but I feel like I should do more to help you out yet... I feel so weak.” She admitted.

"Don't say that, you've given me a place to stay while I recovered and nursed me back to health." Natsu said with a small smile.

“I... I guess but still... I wish I could find a way to help out some more.” Fluttershy admitted.

"I can't think of anything else you could reasonably do," Natsu replied gently.

Fluttershy felt sad and looked down. “Aww….”

Natsu hated making Fluttershy sad and tried to wrack her brain for something Fluttershy could do for her only for her stomach to begin growling.

"Um, would it be too much to ask for some food?" Natsu asked sheepishly.

Fluttershy’s face lit up. “Of course! Oh! I haven’t even offered you some food... damn it. My bad...” She apologised.

Natsu was surprised by how she had swore in front of her. She didn’t expect a cute and innocent girl like that to swear.

"Really, it's fine Fluttershy." Natsu assured her.

“If you say so... anything that you would like me to make you?” Fluttershy wondered.

"I don't want to be a bother. Anything's fine." Natsu replied with a shrug.

“Alright... hmm, I’ll see what I can do. Mind if I keep you company?” Fluttershy asked. For some reason, the pinkette was really eager to spend more time with Natsu… yet she didn’t know why.

"I don't mind at all," Natsu said as Fluttershy’s face lit up. Hearing these words made her scream ‘Victory!’ in her mind.

Just then the door opened slowly as a ‘WOOF!’ noise was heard. On the floor was a black-white dog - from the looks of he or she... it was a corgi.

"Um, hello there." Natsu greeted and immediately facepalmed at the fact that she just spoke to a dog.

The corgi entered the bedroom and rushed over to Fluttershy who picked it up with a smile. “Oh, hey Sora. Who’s a good girl? Yes, you are! Yes, you are!” She stated while playing with her dog.

Natsu though this was too cute for words… not only that, but the sight of Fluttershy playing with the dog was melting her heart.

Fluttershy was petting the corgi before overlooking Natsu's location. “This is my pet corgi Sora. I adopted her a while back since I need a companion for my bunny rabbit Angel. She’s been helpful around the house a lot.” She explained.

"That's so sweet." Natsu cooed with Fluttershy nodding before Sora noticed the blonde. She tried getting closer to her but couldn’t be due to Fluttershy holding her.

"What's the matter, girl?" Fluttershy asked with a confused expression.

Sora’s face was trying to reach Natsu from the looks of it.

Fluttershy understood her dog’s plan before she held Sora out to Natsu. "Do you want to hold her?" She asked with a soft expression.

Natsu nodded happily and took Sora in her arms. “Hey, girl. Do you want me to hold you?” She asked the dog who barked happily and then licked her.

Natsu giggled as the dog showered her in affection in the form of licking every square inch she could get to.

“She likes you it seems.” Fluttershy stated with a smile.

"Well I like this cutie too~" Natsu giggled and continued to play with Sora.

Fluttershy blushed at those giggles and her heart was beating very fast. She counted herself lucky that Natsu was too distracted with Sora to notice.

Sora then licked Natsu’s hand, which surprised and delighted her. "Sora!" Natsu laughed as she got dog slobber on her hand.

Sora barked happily and made a gesture for Natsu to pet her… which she did without a moment’s hesitation.

Seeing Natsu playing with Sora made Fluttershy wonder if she was a dog lover or an animal lover. Maybe both…?

“Natsu, if you don’t mind me asking... are you an animal lover?” The pinkette wondered.

"I think I must be. I'm enjoying playing with Sora too much otherwise," Natsu said.

Fluttershy’s face lit up. “I’m one as well! I love taking care of every type of animal there is... well, except for the monsters in the Everfree... they’re scary.” She admitted with a shiver. Going to the Everfree Forest was definitely something that she always dreaded doing…

"Monsters, huh. Probably a good idea to stay away from them," Natsu noted. She memorized the warning in her mind as well. Definitely avoiding the Everfree Forest unless the situation was urgent…

Fluttershy nodded and then her stomach growled as well. All of this time talking and spending time with Natsu… she didn’t even go get started on their meal!

"Let's get something to eat." Natsu encouraged and Fluttershy nodded at the idea.

The two went downstairs with Sora resting in Natsu’s hands. Upon entering the kitchen, Fluttershy then went about gathering things for their meal.

“So... what happened exactly after I knocked Discord out?” Natsu wondered as she sat down where the table and chairs were.

"The girls and I sealed him in stone using the Elements of Harmony." Fluttershy answered without turning her back.

“Ah, I see. That’s- wait, the Elements of Harmony?” Natsu asked with raised brow. What on Earth are the Elements of Harmony?

"The Elements are ancient artifacts that use the power of friendship to help people and stop bad guys." Fluttershy explained.

Natsu went to try and digest the information that was given to her just now. “So... they are like McGuffins in a sense?” She asked with the first thing that came up to her mind.

"I suppose so." Fluttershy answered with a small shrug. She didn’t think to call them ‘McGuffins’ until now…

“Fair enough. And you are one of the Elements?” Natsu wondered with a raised brow.

"Yep, I bear the Element of Kindness." Fluttershy told her.

Natsu whistled as her lips twisted into a smile. “So... like a superhero?” She asked.

Fluttershy blushed heavily and quickly responded. "Nothing so grand. I just… do what is right."

“You’re just full of surprises, aren’t you?” Natsu admitted with a smirk.

"I'm really nothing special." Fluttershy demurred while keeping the blush on her face. All of this caused Natsu to giggle.

“Still, you’re a hero as well. I kind of feel bad that I’m intruding in your home...” Natsu admitted with an uneasy look.

"It's the least I can do for the woman who saved us from Discord." Fluttershy insisted and continued fixing the meal.

Now it was Natsu’s turn to blush heavily. Fluttershy had done nothing but act kind towards her... so... why the hell was her heart beating!? Well, the answer to that wasn't truly a mystery. A pretty woman was treating her well and it looked like she was a lesbian or at the very least bisexual.

Yet Natsu wasn’t going to do something stupid and try to romance her immediately. Natsu didn't have so much as a penny to her name. Hell, she didn't even know her real name to begin with. Fluttershy deserves someone better.

“Say, Natsu... if you don’t mind me saying this... but during your battle with Discord... I noticed that your eyes changed colour.” Fluttershy said.

"Really?" Natsu asked. Her eyes changed during the battle with Discord? How and why had they done that? Was it something important or just a cosmetic?

“Yeah. Apparently they went bright red when you became angry at Discord.” Fluttershy explained.

"Huh...that's strange," Natsu said with a curious expression on her.

“I agree. Though I do love the colour red.” Fluttershy revealed with a slight grin on her face.

That got Natsu to blush… It almost sounded like Fluttershy was flirting with her.

“T-thanks.” Natsu replied with the blush still there.

"You're welcome," Fluttershy said and started blushing as well.

The two went silent and the air around them turned awkward. Someone needed to break the ice before things got… uncomfortable.

"So what are you making, Fluttershy?" Natsu asked while trying to bring the topic away from the awkwardness.

“O-oh... something salty. I hope you like macaroni casserole with hot sauce.” Fluttershy told her.

"I won't know until I try," Natsu answered with a shrug. Fluttershy flinched at the reminder that Natsu was an amnesiac, but Natsu didn’t notice.

“I’ll get us both some juice.” Fluttershy suggested.

"Thank you." Natsu thanked. A little juice wouldn’t hurt since she was feeling a little parched.

“Of course.” Fluttershy replied with a nod while finishing up the last touches for their meal. As Fluttershy was pouring the juice, she didn’t see a little bit spilling, her gaze elsewhere. Soon the casserole was in the oven and cooking while the pinkette and Natsu drank their juice.

“So, since it’s getting a little late... I’ll have to introduce you to my friends tomorrow. They’ll want to meet the savior of Ponyville.” Fluttershy stated.

"I'll look forward to it." Natsu said. Meeting the other residents of Ponyville would help her get a much clearer experience on where she was. At least she now knew the name for the town.

Fluttershy nodded before remembering something else. “Oh! My friend Pinkie will no doubt throw a surprise party for you.” She explained.

"Thanks for the warning." Natsu told her with a smile.

“Of course. One thing you should never do is upset Pinkie. Believe me... you don’t want to know what happened the last time we avoided her.” Fluttershy said with a shiver.

In a particular moment of planning a certain ‘Thank you for all the parties, Pinkie!’ party… Pinkie literally became someone else with anger displaced on her face.

"Duly noted." Natsu replied albeit with a confused expression.

Fluttershy nodded before adding something else. “Good. I have some of my old pajamas prepared for you but we’ll need to check if they’ll fit on you.”

"Thank you so much Fluttershy, I don't know how I'll ever repay you." Natsu replied to her kind offer.

“No, no! It’s fine! I just hope I’ll be able to repay you someday.” Fluttershy told her while shaking her arms in response to Natsu’s words.

Both women blushed at the insistence of repayment and the air once more became awkward.

“So... ummm...” Natsu didn’t know what to say or do next.

"Let's see if those pajamas fit you while we wait for the casserole to cook." Fluttershy suggested and the blonde nodded at the idea.

Natsu got up as did Fluttershy. As they were walking away, the pinkette accidentally slipped onto a small puddle of juice onto Natsu as they both fell to the ground on top of one another.

Natsu ended up on the floor, but that wasn't important to her. The important thing was Fluttershy's hand was groping her left boob while on top of her.

Natsu saw it and blushed heavily as did Fluttershy who immediately tried to get off Natsu. "I'm so sorry!" She apologized quickly.

Natsu shook her head and started to apologize as well. “No, no! I apologize as well!”

"I'm the one who slipped and ended up with my hand on your...your...." Fluttershy couldn't say the word as she blushed along with Natsu who rubbed the back of her head at the awkwardness.

After a few seconds of awkward silence, Natsu spoke once again.

"It's fine." The blonde assured.

Fluttershy nodded before replying. “I’m sorry again...”

"Don't worry about it." Natsu replied with an awkward frown.

With that mess cleared up, Fluttershy and Natsu went for the pajamas. After giving them to Natsu, the pinkette left the room so that she could change without being disturbed.

Natsu took off her trousers and shirt before slipping on an orange t-shirt and a pair of shorts. She took off her boots and put on a pair of slippers. To her surprise, the pajamas fit quite well. Fluttershy was almost exactly her size.

“Huh, not bad.” She commented but wondered what to do with the prosthetic arm. She couldn’t exactly sleep with it… it might get crushed or damaged. Should she risk taking it off without knowing if she could put it back on?

“Hmmm... let’s see what happens if I remove it...” Natsu trailed off and began to detach it slowly.

Taking off her arm felt very odd…There was no pain, but suddenly she couldn't feel it. And then she understood why... it was gone completely!!!

Natsu started freaking out! Her arm hadn't been covered in armor, it was gone! All this time she assumed the robot arm was just a decorative armor… she didn’t expect her entire right arm to be missing!

“Where’s my arm!?” She screamed.

Having heard the scream, Fluttershy rushed back into the room to check on the blonde who was having a panic attack.

“Natsu, what’s wrong!?” Fluttershy asked in a worried tone.

"My arm!" Natsu exclaimed, holding her robotic replacement with her other hand.

Fluttershy looked at where the robotic arm was and gasped when she saw the missing right arm. "Oh, my! Natsu, are you alright!?" She asked while examining it.

Natsu took a deep breath and began to calm down. "It doesn't hurt or anything. I was just shocked and now I wish I knew how I lost my arm..." She admitted.

Fluttershy hugged her as tight as she could. "It's okay... It's okay. I'm here for you." She promised the blonde.

Natsu nodded before the tears began streaming down from her eyelids. This day was definitely a hellish one for her.

"I'm sorry... look at me going all to pieces. I just...I hate not knowing anything about myself..." Natsu said as she cried while Fluttershy stroked her gently.

"Shh... I'm here for you." The pinkette assured with a smile while she cradled Natsu slowly.

As Fluttershy continued to cradle Natsu, the pinkette began to sing a lullaby to which the blonde had closed her eyes and let sleep overtake her.

A Day spent with the People.

Despite the promise of eating alongside Natsu, Fluttershy immediately put her to bed after helping her calm down. She decided that when morning came, they would both enjoy breakfast together.

She put the blonde to bed before planting a small kiss on the cheek and whispering a simple “Good night, Natsu.” before leaving for her own bedroom. The night passed quickly and Natsu was awoken by the golden sun.

“Ugh… five more minutes.” She protested before covering her face with the sheets.

For a moment, slumber overtook her body once more…

Until she heard a knock on the door. “Natsu! Are you up?” The gentle tone of Fluttershy questioned on the other side which led to Natsu groaning a bit.

Having heard no response from the blonde, Fluttershy opened the door gently. “Natsu?” She spoke yet all she got was a simple sigh from under the sheets.

“Morning…” Natsu spoke before yawning and poking her head out. Her face depicted tiredness due to having awoken so early.

“Morning to you as well, silly. Sleep well?” Fluttershy asked with a caring smile.

“I guess so. I still feel tired though. What time is it?” Natsu questioned.

“About 7:00 in the morning. If you’re still feeling sleepy, I’ll let you rest some more.” Fluttershy told her.

Natsu thought it over before shrugging and pulling the sheet away. She stood and stretched her one available arm before blocking another yawn. “That’s… alright.”

Suddenly, her stomach growled a bit to which Fluttershy smiled sheepishly. “Oops, I forgot that we didn’t have anything to eat last night. I was planning on both of us having breakfast if you want.”

“I’m down with that. Lead the way.” Natsu encouraged.

Before leaving with Fluttershy, she slid on the prosthetic on her missing arm. It didn’t hurt like she imagined it would. The brawler followed Fluttershy downstairs to the kitchen and sat down to await for breakfast. Speaking of that…

“Oh, did you get the meatloaf out of the oven yesterday?” Natsu questioned as Fluttershy was preparing something unknown.

“Yeah. I nearly forgot about the loaf since I was busy helping you calm down and then putting you to bed. I then remembered and quickly turned off the oven before retiring for the night.” Fluttershy explained.

“Ah… whelp, guess we’ll be having that meatloaf for lunch?” Natsu asked with a slight grin.

Fluttershy didn’t turn around but nodded with head. “Seems so… I hope you like oatmeal, Natsu. I’m not certain about what you normally eat so I apologize if you don’t like what I’m preparing for you.”

“Nah, it’s fine. At this point, I’m willing to get any type of food into my belly… even oatmeal.” Natsu answered with a shrug.

Fluttershy didn’t say anything else and continued making breakfast for herself and her guest. Soon, she was finished and served everything on the table.

As Natsu and the pinkette, they continued their conversation. “After this, we’ll head for the Golden Oaks library. My friends and I agreed to stage a meeting there.”

“Anything that I should be aware of or prepare just to make sure I don’t make a fool of myself?”

Fluttershy placed a finger on her chin to think. Natsu raised a good point…

“Hmmm… well, you are new to Equestria so I don’t think they’ll be too hard on you. Although, Twilight might try and educate you on some very important matters regarding life here on our world. Just… humor her and be sure to be honest when conversing.” Fluttershy explained.

“Oh… okay?” Natsu replied with confusion written all over her face.

Seeing the confusion made Fluttershy explain about Twilight more clearly. “Twilight is the type of person who enjoys learning about new things and how they work. She’s always been like that ever since she became Princess Celestia’s student when she was just a little girl.”

Natsu gave a nod - now she understood things a little better. The blonde made a mental note in her head to answer any and all questions that Twilight asked as best she could. Once breakfast was over, they took a quick shower and soon were on their way to the Golden Oaks Library.

Halfway though, Fluttershy noticed how silent Natsu was during their trek towards the meeting point. Her best guest was that the blonde brawler was feeling nervous.

“Natsu?” Fluttershy spoke gently yet the blonde didn’t hear her.

Natsu’s mind was on other things such as the meeting between herself and the pinkette’s friends. She still was a little unsure of how things would go down.

“Natsu?” Fluttershy tried to get her attention but failed.

‘I know I can trust Flutters… yet the rest I’m not sure. What if they turn out to be different from her? Could I even trust them at all?’

“NATSU!” Fluttershy yelled as Natsu shook her head and looked at the pinkette.

“W-wha… Oh… sorry, Flutters… I was just thinking about something else.” Natsu shrugged it off.

Fluttershy raised a brow. “Is it about my friends and what they’re like?”

The question made Natsu look away in embarrassment. “Maybe…” Was all she said.

“Natsu.” Fluttershy spoke and took her hand. “You have nothing to worry about. My friends are the most caring people you’ll ever have the privilege to meet. Just take a deep breath and relax… I’m here for you.” She promised.

Natsu still wasn’t sure but gave a nod in response. She’ll soon find out just what Fluttershy’s friends are like and then make her final verdict.

(Later…)

Natsu had to admit that the residents of Ponyville weren’t all that bad… Pinkie especially. Turns out that she was quite a party animal.

The blonde had learned some interesting things about Fluttershy’s friends and was memorizing every detail in her mind: Twilight had a deep love for astronomy and learning how the small things work; Rainbow enjoyed being an athlete; Applejack was a hardworking person; Rarity loves fashion (a little too much if you ask her) and Pinkie was the party planner extraordinaire.

At least they were being nice to her so far… Fluttershy was right in her words about them. She didn’t even know why she had ended up being nervous to begin with. Guess all that fighting yesterday stressed her out a lot.

“Enjoying yourself?” The voice of Twilight Sparkle interrupted Natsu who was currently taking a sip from her punch.

Twilight had dark blue hair with both purple-pink streaks, fair skin and purple eyes. She wore a purple sweater with a pair of light blue jeans and slippers. There was a porcelain glass cup in her hands.

“As best I can.” Natsu shrugged and took another sip from her punch.

“Let me guess - nervousness from meeting all of us, right?” Twilight smiled gently as Natsu blushed in embarrassment.

“Umm… maybe.” She answered.

Her answer made Twilight giggle. “Relax. We’re all friends here and pretty normal… well, mostly me.” She replied.

“Huh?” Natsu raised a brow.

Twilight got into a small conversation about her misadventures in Ponyville. Some involving a stampede, diamond hunters, small creatures that eat everything in sight… Natsu was stunned by what was just told to her.

“Wow… that’s insane.”

“You don’t know half of it… I’m starting to wonder if my mentor sent me here because she plans something behind the scenes.”

Natsu flashed a smirk. “Like a troll?” She asked.

“Yes… like a troll.” Twilight smirked back and they laughed.

The conversation continued with Twilight explaining some of the layabout in Equestria, the Elements and whatnot. Natsu just listened to everything and memorized in her head.

“Fluttershy told me she’s one of the Elements - Kindness.” Natsu added with Twilight nodding.

“Then there’s Applejack who is Honesty; Rainbow who is Loyalty; Rarity who is Generosity and Pinkie is Laughter. As for me, I’m the Element of Magic.” Twilight explained.

Natsu raised a surprised brow. “Magic? You can do magic?” She asked with Twilight giving another nod.
“Yep. All I need is my trusty wand, my spell book and I’m good to go! Why is that question so surprising?” Twilight asked in confusion.

“Oh… well, I assumed that you could just do what that Discord creep did and perform spells without a wand or book.” Natsu explained.

“Ah, I see what you’re getting at… Well, it’s not really simple. Discord is over a thousand years old so him using magic without a book isn’t a problem. But for us living in the current era, a wand and book is required.”

Natsu nodded. “I see… How advanced are you?” She wondered with a curious expression.

“Oh, I’m very advanced! One of the top most powerful magic users who graduated from Celestia’s school!” Twilight boasted.

“Huh. That’s cool.” Natsu complimented as Twilight beamed at the compliment.

Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of a bouncy go-happy girl with pink hair that’s shaped like cotton candy and crystal blue eyes. She wore a white-blue shirt with a jumper overhead and sneakers. “Hi, hi! Natsu, are you enjoying the party!? Are you!? ARE YOU!?” She asked.

Natsu nodded. “Of course I am, Pinkie!” She replied with a smile.

Pinkie Pie cheered and jumped around them. “This is the best ‘Thank you for saving us from Discord’ party ever!!!” She declared to Natsu.

Natsu nodded and took another sip from her punch. So far things were positive for the blonde…

Then came a young woman with violet-colored hair, fair skin and blue eyes. She was wearing a white-colored suit and violet high-heels. “I hope I’m not intruding, dears.”

“None at all, Rarity.” Twilight assured.

“Something we can help you with?” Natsu wondered.

Rarity nodded. “I don’t mean to be a drag, dear… but you must tell me where you acquired the outfit from Natsu! This screams both ‘danger’ and ‘adventure’ at the same time! Please tell me!” She pleaded and tugged onto Natsu’s uniform.

The poor blonde didn’t know how to answer the question. She really didn’t have a clue on how she acquired the uniform since her memories were on the fritz. The only remaining option was to be as truthful as possible.

“I… honestly don’t know, Rarity.” Natsu answered.

Rarity slumped her shoulders in disappointment and let out a dramatic sigh. “Oh, woe is me!” She declared.

I ended up being confused while Twilight facepalmed. “Rarity… I swear to Celestia…” She sighed in annoyance.

“I can’t help it, Twilight! Natsu’s outfit is just what I need to draw inspiration!” Rarity declared.

Natsu blushed at the praise of her attire. “Umm… well… I…” She was at a loss for words.

Thankfully, she was saved by the bell thanks to the arrival of a cowgirl whose blonde-colored hair was tied in a ponytail along with her skin being tanned while her eyes depicted an emerald green color. She wore a white t-shirt with an apple logo on it, a blue skirt and brown-colored boots. A Stetson hat rested on top of her hair.

“Leave her alone, Rares. Yer frightenin her!” AJ scolded the fashionista in Southern voice.

Rarity pouted at her. “I was just trying to strike up a conversation, Applejack.”

AJ rolled her eyes before sending an apologetic look to Natsu. “Sorry bout her, sugarcube. She takes things WAY too serious.”

“It’s fine.” Natsu assured.

AJ dragged Rarity away before things could get ugly while Pinkie jumped off to who knows where. Natsu couldn’t help but smile a bit. “Are they always like this?” She asked Twilight.

“Sometimes… you just gotta know when to not get involved and you’re all set.” Twilight told her.

“I see… how long have you been in Ponyville?” Natsu wondered.

“About a year and 2 months. So far I have no plans to return to Canterlot since my friends are all here. What about you? You saved us all from Discord and you’re currently the hero of Equestria. Any plans in mind?” Twilight asked.

Natsu thought about it. “Hmmm… well, not really. I guess for the time being, I’ll be in Ponyville. Doing things and helping out with whatever.” She finished with a shrug.

Twilight nodded. “I see… if you want, I can give you some reading material to help you get accustomed to Equestria.” She suggested.

Natsu placed a finger on her chin to think before nodding with a smile. “Sure. Why not? The more information I learn about this place, the better.”

And with that the party had continued as planned as Natsu became more and more relaxed. So far she managed to have such a good time and enjoy herself for the next couple of hours.

Then came the time to depart. Fluttershy and Natsu wished their friends a farewell and headed home. In her hands, the blonde was holding a couple of books that were given to her by Twilight - reading material.

“I can’t wait to get started on these.” Natsu shared with Fluttershy who nodded.

“I told you that you had nothing to worry about. How do you feel so far?” Fluttershy wondered.

“Honest truth… I feel pretty good. Your friends seem like such a nice group of people.” Natsu complimented.

Fluttershy giggled and agreed with a nod as the two went back to the cottage. Natsu couldn’t help but wonder if she would be getting involved in adventures while staying in Ponyville.

Equestria’s foes had better watch out… because the blonde brawler had arrived! She couldn’t wait to get started!

Natsu had to admit that the books that she brought back were very interesting to read. She was immersed in the Equestrian lore and the backstory of the land. But the one tale that intrigued her most was the tale of the two sisters - Celestia and Luna.

According to the legend, the two sisters ruled Equestria in peace and harmony while raising the sun and moon respectfully. As time went on, the younger became jealous of the older and in the process turned into an evil being called Nightmare Moon. Celestia had no choice but to use the Elements of Harmony to banish her to the moon. A very sad tale but one which Natsu learned a very important lesson:

“Never allow your jealousy to get the better of you lest you wish for the consequences to be severe.”

Although in retrospect, Natsu couldn’t entirely blame Luna since she was the youngest sibling. All she wanted was some affection and love from her subjects like her elder sibling but instead she had gotten herself wound up being too jealous and turning into a monster. Natsu made a mental note to be aware of her own behavior and not let her emotions get the better of her.

Speaking of emotions, she had another peaceful dinner alongside Fluttershy and her hormones started flaring up. Natsu did her best to ignore it yet it couldn’t be accomplished. She was starting to become closer to the pinkette and the signs were there. The blonde had to wonder if it was love at first sight… who knows? If it was… then she was hoping Flutters would accept.

After dinner, she grabbed another book and started to read but paused after a while to draft out a plan for the next day. First she would have some breakfast and then she decided on getting some fresh air while she thought about how to best train herself. She would have to pick a quiet spot in order to practice some flashy moves with her shotgun gauntlets. As they often say: Practice makes Perfect!

She wondered if Fluttershy could be her referee since that would allow Natsu to not do anything stupid and also… spending some quality time with the pinkette. A grin started to crawl on her lips as she couldn’t help but picture the training regiment being more like a date than an actual exercise routine.

With a fluttering heart, Natsu put the book away and closed her eyes as slumber began to overtake her. She had a feeling that tomorrow would definitely be interesting for her.

(The next day - the old castle of the royal pony sisters…)

“You sure you want me to referee you, Natsu? I can fetch Twilight since she’s a much better coach than I am.” Fluttershy told her as she had donned a cap along with a white shirt, a set of tennis shorts and socks with sneakers while holding a stopwatch and a whistle.

“I’m sure. Besides, I figured you’d like to watch me practice a little bit… gotta keep up my strength in case any more creatures like Discord show up.” Natsu told her.

“Hmm… do you really need the practice? I don’t think you’re strong enough to move quickly.” Fluttershy said with a smug look.

Natsu slumped her shoulders in disappointment. “Hey… I’m here, you know.”

In response to that, Fluttershy giggled. “I know, I’m just teasing you, dummy. I might be the Element of Kindness but I’m not devoid of humor.”

“Ha, ha, ha… very funny.” Natsu deadpanned while shaking her head before continuing. “So, how careful should I be around this place?”

“Well, you have the run of the place since its just simple ruins… however don’t go too far. Twilight often comes at times to explore the castle for any signs of the past.”

Natsu nodded. “Alright. I’ll do my best but there are no guarantees... Now let’s see…”

She looked around for her first target - something non-lethal and safe to make sure that this castle didn’t collapse and incur Twilight’s wrath or anyone else’s for that matter. Sadly, the entrance hall didn’t seem to be offering anything decent.

“Hmmm, nothing… maybe another room would offer better results.” Natsu decided.

She and Fluttershy proceeded onward and started investigating some rooms to see if there was anything that could be used for Natsu’s gauntlets. But sadly, the furniture was either destroyed or missing which annoyed the blonde.

However they didn’t give up and soon found themselves in a library where a couple of tables and chairs were in perfect working condition. Good… now she could let her fists do the talking.

“Alright, this seems like a good spot to practice… I’ll do my best not to burn any of the books in this… library… I think.” Natsu promised.

“Just don’t go too overboard, alright?”

“I know, I know… first things first…”

Natsu began setting up all the chairs and tables in a proper order as Fluttershy watched in anticipation. She couldn’t help but keep her eyes on the blonde while she was pushing furniture all around… it was an admiration. Again, the pinkette’s hormones flared up.

Ever since meeting her, Fluttershy felt so much loyalty and attraction to Natsu. She wondered if the blonde was also feeling the same type of emotions that she was. God, she hoped that was the case…

It had been a lot of hard work and stubbornness to hide her sexuality in high school and Ponyville but the signs were there. She did an attempt to date a boy her age one time yet she found herself discouraged and decided to try hopping the fence. It was like a breath of relief on a crowded subway train…

And yet her luck in dating women was very low… at least until she had set her eyes on Natsu who was no doubt a lesbian in her book. Could it be that she was the ‘ONE’ that she had been searching for all these years? If that was the case, then she had to acquire the bravery when confessing.

Natsu grunted as she finished moving the furniture and smiled at all her hard work. “Great! Now I can finally get down to business…”

She rubbed her hands together and grinned as the furniture was set up in a way that wouldn’t be life-threatening and would only serve as target practice for her gauntlets.

“Alright… now it’s time I get down to business.”

Fluttershy nodded and looked at the stopwatch. “We’ll start off with your moves… how fast you can reach the furniture without using your weapons and then hitting some of the tables.”

“Right.” Natsu gave her a nod.

She took a few feet away from the furniture and took a deep breath before preparing herself and activating her gauntlet. She wasn’t planning on using them just yet…

Fluttershy looked at the watch and positioned her thumb over the green-colored ON button. “Alright… ready… set… GO!” She activated the timer.

Then her eyes looked at Natsu who rushed as fast as possible to the first section of furniture that were aligned together. She clashed her gauntlets together and started beating on the wooden furniture very easily. Fluttershy noted that she was doing a good job… and yet she sensed that Natsu was using her aggression as a weapon as well. Although anger was a good way to release all of the stress in you, it would also be a way to an easy defeat.

Once the first section was nearly destroyed, Natsu calmed down and sighed. “How many seconds?”

Fluttershy’s thumb clashed down onto the red-colored OFF button and checked the time. “17.6 seconds… not bad. Although… if I may…”

“Yes?” Natsu raised a brow.

“I noticed that the anger building up in you often makes you more powerful… it’s a good weapon to have… but it will also make you more open to enemies." Fluttershy explained.

Fluttershy's comment had made Natsu pause. It did brought up a good question in regards to her ability in using her anger as a power up. How come she often got stronger when she ended up being angry? Was it a built in ability inside her own body? She had to assume that was the case.

“Natsu?” Fluttershy spoke once more upon seeing that Natsu fell silent all of a sudden. The blonde shook her head and blinked at the pinkette.

“Are you alright? You seemed to have trailed off for a moment.” Fluttershy asked.

Natsu nodded. “Yeah… just a little disoriented.”

“Do you want to stop?” Fluttershy asked only for Natsu to shake her head.

“I still need practice. If I’m ever up against any serious opponents, I’ll have to be prepared at all costs. Although… I'll have to be careful on how I use my anger. The last thing that I need is to go overboard and do something stupid.”

Fluttershy nodded before deciding on a new test. "Very well. Let's give it another go. If possible, try to keep your emotions in check, kay?" The question had received a nod from the blonde.

A few seconds later, Natsu was right back at the starting line and keeping her emotions in check. Fluttershy raised the watch and held the thumb over the green button. “Ready, Natsu?”

“Yeah! Let’s get started!”

Natsu got into position as Fluttershy prepared the watch. “Ready… set… GO!” She activated the green button.

Natsu charged forward while keeping her emotions in check. Once she got to the furniture she started to punch them while Fluttershy kept watch. However, she did notice that her punches and attacks were very weak. Even without the use of her gauntlet, Natsu couldn’t build up the pressure that was used to defeat Discord. Interesting.

After a while Fluttershy turned off the timer and looked at the watch. “Hmm… this time it’s 22.6 seconds… seems like you’re a lot weaker without the use of your anger as a weapon.”

Natsu gave a nod. “So… without the use of anger, I’m weaker?”

“It would seem so… this is definitely a step back… we’ll have to find some way to teach you how to power you up without you turning into a rage monster.”

“Right… Now how about we test out the gauntlets?”

Fluttershy nodded as Natsu activated her weapon gauntlet and prepared for the next phase of the training regiment. The pinkette activated the timer and watched as the woman of her dreams practiced firing the shells at the furniture that was rearranged.

*BANG!* Another shell was fired at a chair which was destroyed followed by another at a table. Natsu then clashed her fists together and started firing multiple shells at tables and chairs.

Fluttershy watched her and memorized every little detail in her mind… however she was wondering what would happen once the shells had depleted. They’d have to find an alternative source if Natsu wanted to use the gauntlets more than once.

But little did they know that the gauntlets had the uncanny ability to replenish the missing ammo after they had been previously used. Natsu and Fluttershy would definitely be asking questions that held no answers.

The training regiment had continued all the way until the early afternoon. Once it was over, Natsu and Fluttershy packed up and headed home to get some food in their bellies.

“That was a fun regiment…” Natsu admitted and stretched her arms.

“Agreed. It definitely was something… to be honest, I found the whole thing… enchanting. How you trained hard… this whole thing was almost like a date when you think about it.”

However when the words left her mouth both Fluttershy and Natsu blushed at the thought that this was a date… were they on the same page as the other?

“A-anyways…”

“Y-yeah…”

They just smiled sheepishly at one another and headed home while keeping their hormones in check despite the obvious spark that they were feeling at the current moment.

For now, all they wanted was some food and rest before they continued on with the rest of their duties for the day...

Sickness, Lessons and an Insane Nut.

Natsu woke up with a yawn, just like any other day albeit with some difficulty. Her body for some reason wasn't cooperating with her and she had no clue why. It was probably because she was still waking up... that had to be the only reason.

Stretching out her left arm, she immediately blocked the yawn and then shook her head before attaching the prothesis on her missing right. Groaning, she got up and felt disoriented before slipping on a set of flip-flops and walking slowly to the nearest- "OOF!" She bumped her entire body into a wall.

"Ow..." Natsu groaned and collapsed onto the ground with a disoriented look. Her field of view was groggily due to the fact that she had just woken up from her slumber... great. What she really needed was a coffee, breakfast and a shower: ASAP.

She sleepily wandered down the stairs for her beloved coffee. "Coffee... coffee... coff- ARGH!" She was cut off completely.

In her haste to reach the downstairs, she slipped and rolled downward onto the floor. With a groan, her entire body felt like shit. "What's wrong with me this morning..?" She asked herself just as the door upstairs popped opened along with a pair of slippered feet rushing quickly down the stairs and gasping.

"Natsu!" Fluttershy yelled in a worried tone as she went to help the blonde up. "I'm fine, just feel...off," Natsu assured Fluttershy yet she was having none of it and helped the blonde up. Throwing her arm over her shoulder, Fluttershy carried her to the couch and sat her down.

"I'm fine, really!" Natsu tried to convince her only for Fluttershy to frown at her. "No backtalking me, got it?"

"Yes ma'am," Fluttershy nodded in satisfaction and got to work in checking her out. She was glad that the blonde was wearing a t-shirt and shorts... the last thing she wanted to see was her beautiful... pale... handsome... naked... Fluttershy shook her head before she could do anything that she would regret later. It was too early to be getting worked up!

She checked Natsu's head and then her body for anything serious. There wasn't anything much to the pinkette's relief. At least Natsu was okay for now but she really seemed like she needed a huge dose of coffee. With lots of sugar.

Fluttershy moved in the kitchen to start brewing her a cup of delicious morning caffeine. "Just relax, okay?" Flutters called from the kitchen to Natsu who only whimpered a simple "OK..." Natsu sighed heavily.

It was nice of Fluttershy to act like a caring person towards her but she really doesn't need to. But she also wasn't going to disobey her Not that she wanted to... that pinkette was such a mature woman. So beautiful... So caring... so nice... Natsu blushed She looked away... why was she always thinking about this? It was just Fluttershy! Fluttershy, simple and caring Fluttershy. And yet...

She couldn't stop thinking about her. That pink hair, her body, her well-developed chest, everything. Natsu...was hot for Fluttershy. TOO Hot... too hot. Natsu blushed more and couldn't stop it. "No, stop it Natsu... She's not like that..."

"Not like what?" Natsu yelped when Fluttershy popped her head out with a curious expression on her face. The blonde immediately turned away to avoid blushing. "N-nothing! Just tired is all..."

"I see..." Fluttershy's tone indicated suspicion in it. Something was clear off with Natsu. Natsu gulped Fluttershy just sent her a dark look before turning back to finish up the coffee.

The pinkette wondered what was up with Natsu. She would get to the bottom of it! And then she would find a way to win that heart of hers! Fluttershy squeaked a blush of her own. Why did she think of that!? Wait, did she just seriously think of it!? She hid her face quickly since she couldn't let Natsu see her. She was supposed to be the strong one! She was an Element of Harmony after all! She shook her head and got back to fixing the coffee.

The coffee pot started to boil with the water becoming very hot. She paused for a moment before peeking her head into the living room. "Natsu, how many sugars and cream do you want in your coffee?" She questioned.

"Uh...yes." she answered very awkwardly.

Fluttershy blinked at the strange answer. "Natsu. I asked how many, not if you wanted any cream and sugar."

Natsu blushed at her dumb answer. "Sorry... one spoon of cream and sugar."

"OK," Fluttershy nodded and got back to work. Natsu was acting very strange. Tripping down the stairs, not answering questions well, muttering to herself... it was all weird.

Something was clear wrong with her today. Was it that she didn't get enough sleep? But not getting enough sleep wouldn't explain why the usually graceful fighter was suddenly so clumsy... Something was on her mind. Something that made her act awkward... especially around her.

Fluttershy would have to look deeper but first, she'd finish brewing up some coffee. Soon it was done and she poured two glass cups for herself and Natsu, she added everything onto a tray and then headed straight into the living room. "It's ready!" Natsu nodded with a smile as she was given her cup with her coffee.

Fluttershy took hers and they both tried to drink… correction. Only Fluttershy had drank it. Natsu had a little difficulty holding it. Her body was shaking up a bit and even Fluttershy noticed. "Natsu, what's wrong?!" She questioned worriedly.

Natsu tried to drink only to accidentally drop her coffee. The cup shards broke completely on the ground along with liquid spewing. Fluttershy rushed to her side as Natsu shivered. "I'm fine..."

"Don't you dare! You are not fine!" Fluttershy held her hand against Natsu's forehead and the pinkette was stunned completely. "Natsu, are you channeling your anger right now?"

"Huh?" Natsu questioned with a raised brow.

"Are you channeling your anger by any chance?"

"No..." Natsu mumbled as Fluttershy gasped. "Oh, my... Natsu, your head is burning."

"Burning..." Natsu muttered, her eyes fluttering before she felt something coming on. "Ah... ah... ah... ACHOO!" She sneezed and groaned.

"Natsu, you're burning up with a fever. We're taking you to the doctor," Fluttershy decided as she stood up.

"B-but, I'm fine." The blonde tried her best to calm the Element of Kindness but it had zero effect.

"No you are not missy! You fell down the stairs and are trembling so bad you dropped a cup on the ground!" Natsu cringed at Fluttershy's scolding tone. She sniffed with her nose being stuffy. "Sorry..."

Fluttershy sighed. "Let's get you to the doctor," Natsu nodded and stood up slowly albeit reluctant since her body was feeling bad. Luckily, the pinkette was there to assist her in helping her.

Once they were both dressed up, Fluttershy and Natsu made their way to the doctor's office quickly since the pinkette wasn't sure if her friend wasn't going to get much more sicker than she currently was. For this reason, they both quickly ran towards the hospital.

"Hold on, honey. We're nearly there." Fluttershy promised after a while and Natsu gave a small nod.

They entered the hospital where they saw the reception being at her desk and typing on the computer yet paused when she heard the doorbell ring. Turning to the newcomers, she spoke with a casual look. "How may I help you both?" She asked with a small smile.

Fluttershy pointed at the blonde. "My friend, Natsu. She has a very high fever at the moment and her body seems to have caught some sort of contagious disease but I'm not sure what it is."

The receptionist looked at the blonde whom she assumed was Natsu and examined her with a sympathetic gaze. Judging from her face, she definitely seemed down and her face was depicting worry. This was troublesome indeed and the only person that can help her was the doctor himself.

"Very well. The doctor will be informed and will receive you both soon. Please wait there." The receptionist pointed at some chairs for them to sit while she started calling her superiors.

Fluttershy nodded and they sat in the waiting room but Natsu had difficulty sitting down so the Element of Kindness helped her out. "There we go."

Natsu groaned as Fluttershy rubbed her hand. "It's okay."

"I'm not sick..." Natsu tried to protest weakly yet to no avail. It didn't have the effect the blonde was looking for.

Despite how weak that lie was, Fluttershy couldn't help but smile. "Oh? Is big tough Natsu already back on her feet?" She teased.

"Yes..." Natsu's comment resulted in her getting poked in the cheek by Fluttershy.

"No... stop it, damn you." The blonde demanded yet her words only made the pinkette giggle.

"Silly Natsumi, so strong yet so stubborn."

She was so adorable... and so kind. Natsu was so... so... what was the word...

"Perfect..." Fluttershy muttered quietly in the hopes that the blonde wouldn't hear her yet no luck...

Natsu raised a small brow and questioned. "Perfect? At what exactly, Flutters?"

The pinkette blushed and looked away. "N-nothing."

Natsu started to blush as well as the situation became awkward. Luckily, they were both saved in the nick of time as the receptionist called from her desk. "Miss Fluttershy? Miss Natsu?"

Fluttershy stood up as did Natsu albeit slowly. "Yes?"

"The doctor will see you now," The receptionist informed them.

Fluttershy nodded as she took Natsu's hand and the pair went inside the room where the doctor was supposed to be stationed yet he was a no-show. So, they waited patiently until he returned which wasn't very long. A young man in his early 30s with short and stubble blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, his attire consisted of a shirt and pants with black shoes underneath a long medical coat. An 'ID' was attached to his coat.

"Now then, what seems to be the problem?" He questioned the pair.

Natsu sneezed a bit as Fluttershy rubbed her hand. "My friend is sick with a high fever and something is very wrong with her body. It seems to be a little weaker than usual."

"I see. Very well, let me take a look at her, Miss. You can wait outside if you want to." The Doctor told Fluttershy before sending a sympathetic look to Natsu. "Don't worry, my dear. We'll have you fixed up in no time."

Fluttershy decided to leave the room to wait outside while the doctor examined Natsu to see what was wrong with her. He'd assure the Element of Harmony that her friend would be in good hands and discover what exactly was the cause for the disease in the blonde's body.

Deciding to sit down on the chair, Fluttershy just waited and swung her legs while anxiously awaiting for the results to the situation. Thoughts of worry and fear began to take hold over the pinkette.

What if Natsu was really sick? What if the disease is something life threatening...? What if poor Natsu is in her last few moments of life? What if she died...?

God, she can't handle that! She can't handle seeing her Natsu getting worse!!! She can't afford her to die just now! She had only met her just recently and this might be their last meeting together! No, she can't let that happen!

And then, Fluttershy paused before allowing a deadpan look to form on her face. Jeez, that was a dark thing that she imagined. Natsu dying and all... what kind of idiot was she to think that? It was just a simple disease, nothing more.

Once she released the sigh from her lips, she looked down. "She won't die... she'll be alright. Bad girl, Fluttershy... how can you even think that? You should be ashamed of yourself, missy!" Scolding herself, she shook her head and began taking deep breaths to remove the negativity out of the way. Out went the bad thoughts and in she let the good ones...

She waited patiently in her chair and rocked her feet back-and-forth with a casual expression until she heard a scream as a young woman ran inside the hospital with a scared look and shivering expression.

"What's wrong?!" Both Fluttershy and the receptionist questioned at the same time... not that they didn't notice it.

"B-bear!!! BEAR!!!" The woman repeated her pleas with the fearful look still on her face.

"Huh?!" Fluttershy was confused until the woman explained everything from top to bottom. How a bear suddenly wandered into town and started to act really crazy, roaring and screaming... it was completely insane.

Fluttershy got up and was deeply worried. A bear that was acting crazy? Oh, dear... this calls for a resolution from the Element of Kindness herself! Time to deploy her caring nature once more.

"I'll take care of it," Fluttershy promised yet the woman and receptionist looked at her with a worried look. They knew about her and her status as the Element of Kindness but still... would she be able to handle a scary bear? Short answer: Yes. Yes, she would be.

Fluttershy headed out to deal with the bear and it didn't take long to find it. It could be found near her home and it was roaring and going around as if it was crazy. Guess it must have given up trying to scare up residents in Ponyville... the important thing though was that nobody was injured. That was something... but still, having a bear running around and screaming was bad. She decided to calm it down.

"Mr. Bear, please calm down. I don't know why you are acting this way but I must ask you to calm yourself." Her demand resulted in the bear roaring at her some more.

Fluttershy sighed heavily and then frowned. "Well, I guess its time to bring out the big guns."

She had a theory as to why this bear was acting this way... and there was only one way to deal with a stressful creature like this. Giving him a very strong lesson in manners and teaching him that it's not right to scare other people.

And so she did with her jumping up and 'assaulting' the bear... and by assault, she meant giving him a nice soothing massage to calm him down.

It worked with the bear beginning to relax as it allowed its soft brown skin to be massaged by Fluttershy who smiled gently at him. "There we go... you were just under a lot of stress, weren't you big guy?"

The bear nodded who was still enjoying his well-deserved massage as a goofy smile popped up on his face.

"Good boy," She complimented and continued her method of making him calm. However, the peaceful moment ended when the pinkette heard a yell of despair from nearby. She told the bear to not move and then went to investigate...

Then she saw the most bizarre scene: Twilight on the ground and shaking back and forth. “Out of all the times she had to pick to attack someone, why did she do it now!?” She demanded to no one in particular and then took off quickly.

Although Fluttershy wanted to comfort Twilight and ask her what was wrong, the librarian had nothing but despair on her face and didn’t hear anything else. A very confused Fluttershy went straight back for the bear while wondering what on Earth was going on through the librarian's head.

Once back to the bear, she gave him some advice which was to take it easy and relax along with not doing anything damage-related to the citizens of Ponyville or Equis for that matter. She also told him to come to her if he was in another stressful mood. She promised to take care of it ASAP.

With a thankful nod, the bear took off to its home while Fluttershy watched it go with a sigh. With that cleared up, she went straight back for Natsu to see how things were so far. Once back at the hospital, she gave a small nod at the receptionist before heading back to the doctor's office.

Natsu was done with her check-up albeit still sneezing. "What's wrong with her?" Fluttershy questioned with a worried expression.

"She's come down with a bad case of pneumonia. She's got a fever of 102. We've given her some medicine that should hopefully break the fever soon, but until then I'd like to keep her here under observation," The doctor replied.

Fluttershy froze... p-pneumonia!? Did... did she heard that right!? Oh, god! Poor Natsu! And a fever of 102! That was definitely heartbreaking to hear! This wasn't true, it just wasn't!

"Will she be OK?!" Fluttershy asked worriedly.

"She'll be fine once the fever breaks," The doctor assured her yet Fluttershy still wasn't calming down.

Fluttershy started to shiver and worry about losing Natsu... poor Natsu! She can't lose her... she just can't! She didn't know what she would without her!

The doctor tried to calm her as best he could. "Ma'am, relax! She'll be fine! We gave her medicine that should calm her down but I must ask you to remain calm or else I'll be forced to ask you to wait outside."

Fluttershy sniffled and nodded in understanding. Some fresh air would serve her good in order to gather her thoughts and not suffer a breakdown due to the fear of losing Natsu.

Leaving the room and the hospital all together, she went outside and sat down a bench. Her head was filled with so many emotions right now. Anger, sadness, fear... and all towards one person in particular: Natsu.

Her poor Natsu... She blushed when she thought about her... god, why was she on her mind...

She buried her face in her hands and shook her head. No, no... she wasn't attracted to her! She was just... um, worried! That's it!

That was definitely it... it was! Nothing else!

"S-stop it, dummy! You're just worried about her is all..."

Gah! It was impossible! She couldn't be attracted... she can't be... And yet... Her heart beat faster, her cheeks flustered...

She... she...

She... she was in love. She was in love with Natsumi, her blonde knight and the one whom had saved the town from Discord. Her Natsu, the brave hero and brawler... the hero of her dreams.

Fluttershy blushed horribly at that. She couldn't deny it no matter how much she tried...

She loved Natsu and yet the question was: did Natsu feel what she felt as well? She had no clue.

She gulped as fear took hold over her entire being. Too damn scared to admit it. Perhaps Natsu had feelings for someone else. The thought hurt more than she thought it would. She wanted to tell Natsu how she felt. But that would result in a mess in which neither party would end up getting anything worth their while.

She sighed while looking down. "Maybe, it's better this way. Even if I do confess, Natsu would never love someone like me. A shy and nervous girl. I shouldn't say anything." Fluttershy decided with the feelings of a broken heart in her.

She looked down and felt wet on her cheeks. Tears began to drip from her eyes and down onto the ground. Damn it, everything was just so messed up... she wanted to admit how she felt. But she was scared... scared of the outcome. And of the rejection from Natsu.

"Natsu, why can't I just..." Fluttershy trailed off since she couldn't find a way to finish her words

She rubbed her eyes and told herself to hold it together. Once they got back home and tucked Natsu into bed, then she'll release her emotions on her own.

So she waited until nighttime had come... Natsu was discharged from the hospital and felt a little bit better although she was still in need of medicine if she was going to regain her health eventually. Before they left, the doctor had supplied the pinkette and the blonde with a bottle of pills.

"She'll need to take one pill with food every twelve hours for two weeks and she'll be fine," He explained as Fluttershy nodded and pocketed the pills. The doctor wished them luck and then headed back into the hospital to finish his shift.

"How do you feel, Natsu?" Fluttershy wondered as she took her hand while they were both walking back to the house.

"I feel like crap, but better than I did this morning," Natsu stated with a small smile while walking slowly.

Good. At least she was feeling a little better than earlier today... with help from the pills, she'll be fit and spry in no time. The last thing Fluttershy wanted was for Natsu to end up staying in bed for eternity. A dark thought indeed...

"Let's get you home Natsu and in bed,"

"Right. Anything interesting happened while I was in the hospital?" Natsu wondered.

"Nope," Fluttershy said, a half-lie and half-truth.

Natsu nodded as they went back to the house. Along the way, the pinkette released a small sigh. "Well, just one little incidence, albeit strange."

"Oh?" The blonde raised a brow with a curious expression.

"Yes, so it happened while I was-" Fluttershy however couldn't finish due to a large commotion nearby following by voices yelling things like 'BACK OFF!' or 'MINE!', 'OVER MY DEAD BODY, TROLLOP!'. It was very strange.

"Huh?" Both Natsu and Fluttershy spoke at the same time as they ran towards where the commotion was and what they saw was... stunning to say the least. People, having hearts for eyes were fighting... over a doll? An ugly doll at that.

The woman were at the front and they were yelling the following words:

"It's mine, skanks!"

"No, it's mine!"

"Back off, hussies!"

"You back off, snobs!"

"What the heck?" Fluttershy asked with the most confused tone in her voice.

Natsu rubbed her head. "Took the words right out of my mouth."

And if that wasn't bad enough, they even saw Rarity and AJ fighting for the doll as well. What the hell!?

Natsu sneezed some more as she groaned. "Ugh... I'm not spry enough to deal with this."

"Let's get you home. Hopefully someone else can deal with...this..." Fluttershy paused as she stared at the doll.

The doll... such a... beautiful doll....

She wasn't the only one who was thinking about that. Natsu was also staring at the doll even though Natsu was still very sick. But she didn't care... that doll... was so beautiful.

Fluttershy and Natsu were both watching the doll and had hearts for eyes. That doll... they had to have it. Wait... THEY!? What did they mean by that!? Both looked at each other and glared.

"It's mine!"

"IN YOUR DREAMS!"

In Natsu's sick state, Fluttershy easily overpowered her and began to punch her heavily with the end result being the blonde who was left groaning and coughing on the ground. The pinkette hadn't realized what she had done just yet as the spell continued to fill her head about the lovely doll.

Fluttershy had won and grinned victorious! She had won her chance to get the doll! She went to claim it only to freeze when she heard Natsu's groans, she turned and the spell was broken. She froze and gasped in horror. What had she done!?

She rushed to Natsu's side quickly and began to hug her and cradle her non-stop without slowing down. "Natsu! Oh, my god... I'm so sorry! I don't know what came over... it's like that doll was making me act like a different person! Oh, god... I'm so sorry!!!" Her words only made her feel awful and she started to cry.

Natsu groaned some more although she tried to get up and assure that Fluttershy wasn't at fault but it was no use. Her body was hurting... damn, Flutters was a good fighting. Her actions made the blonde chuckle.

"You hit like a girl..." She smirked with an amused tone.

Fluttershy looked at Natsu with a look of disbelief while tears streamed down. "You're so stupid!"

Fluttershy started to slap her while Natsu took it all in. How dare the blonde joke with her!? Didn't she realize what she had done!? She beat her up over some stupid doll and she has the utter nerve to joke!? Ugh, damn idiot!!!

Natsu coughed violently while taking the punishment all in. Once the pinkette was done slapping, she embraced Natsu in a hug and cradled her while crying. "I'm sorry!" She yelled.

Natsu took it all in but continued to cough. "It's fine..." She assured but sneezed a bit with a sore throat.

Fluttershy cried while looking at Natsu.

She hated seeing Natsu like this. So weak and sick. She hated how Natsu tried to act tough but deep down she was worried about Fluttershy's actions and how the pinkette would blame herself. She hated that the blonde was such a strong person to remain optimistic even in the darkest of times. But more importantly... she hated how she didn't have a chance to admit how she felt.

Natsu just hugged her and whispered gently. "Flutters..."

"Natsu..." Fluttershy also found herself whispering gently with the tears still streaming down.

The pinkette hugged her and sniffed. She couldn't stop cradling the blonde no matter what... it was her fault she got hurt and all because of a spell to make her love a stupid and ugly doll. Ugh, damn it all to heck.

"Can we go home now?" Natsu asked with a hopeful look while coughing and groaning.

"Yes, of course." Fluttershy promised with a few tears and a sad smile.

Natsu was glad to hear that and got up with the help of Fluttershy. They walked back home while the rest continued to fight over the doll along with AJ and Rarity. Nobody showed signs of stopping anytime soon even though it was just over a simple toy.

Once they got home, Fluttershy wasted no time and tucked the still sick Natsu who coughed but smiled. "Thanks... I appreciate it."

"Rest now Natsu. I'll come by later with food and your first dose of medicine," Fluttershy covered her body with the blanket and petted her by the head.

"Of course... a-although, I..." Natsu looked away much to the Element of Kindness's worry.

"Yes?" Fluttershy asked while stroking Natsu's hand.

Although Natsu's gaze was still turned away, the blonde couldn't stop blushing as she blurted out the next couple of words. "I... I feel a little alone."

Fluttershy blushed too. Did Natsu want her to stay for a little while? Well... she didn't really mind since she had nothing else to do.

And thus, Fluttershy stayed with her and gently stroked her hand while Natsu slowly drifted off to sleep.

Fluttershy watched her and waited until she was asleep... then she sighed with a small smile on her face. "Even if I don't have a chance, you'll always have a place in my heart, Natsu." She leaned forward until she was close to her forehead and kissed it gently.

Fluttershy then got up from the edge of the bed and then left the room. What she needed now was a shower and some dinner... after today's events, she was too tired to care if she was being honest. Especially after that 'doll' incident... actually, she wondered who exactly was the culprit that charmed the people of Ponyville to like that... ugh, ugly horse doll.

(Meanwhile...)

Twilight Sparkle cringed and gulped. This mess was definitely something that shouldn't have been of much issue... and yet, it turned out into a non-lethal aftermath. And now Celestia was going to send her to the moon! She was so scared, so freaking scared!!! This wasn't supposed to go down like this! How did she let it come to this?!

"Twilight Sparkle." A voice that had spoken behind her spooked Twilight completely. Oh, how she was so scared right now... God, she was done for! Especially due to... today's events.

"I'M SORRY!" Twilight yelled with tears in her eyes and got onto the ground and held her mentor's dress while crying and pleading the following. "PLEASE DON'T SEND ME TO THE MOON!"

"Twilight." Princess Celestia, her mentor, had a gentle and caring tone instead of a scolding one. She didn't seem mad at all and instead was trying to calm down her student... to no avail.

Twilight kept on crying and didn't hear how neutral her mentor sounded about this whole fiasco.

Princess Celestia's entire rainbow-colored hair reached all the way down to her knees while her magenta-colored eyes scanned her still crying student. She was wearing a white sleeveless dress with yellow ends, a yellow-styled necklace with a purple gem in it, golden slip-on shoes and a crown with a gem on it.

"Twilight," Celestia said again in a calm tone although Twilight was not hearing her and continuing to cry. She had no idea how dumb she acted right now about this stupid incident.

The Princess of the Sun had enough. Time for drastic actions.

"Twilight Sparkle!" Celestia yelled and that got her attention. Twilight gulped when she saw Celestia becoming stern and crossing her arms. "Calm yourself," She ordered.

Twilight sniffed and looked down. "But... I didn't deliver my friendship letter in time." She admitted.

"That's strange, I don't recall setting a due date to your friendship letters," Celestia let some sarcasm into her voice while keeping up with her stern look.

"H-huh?" Twilight's question resulted in Celestia bonking her in the head.

Twilight groaned and rubbed her head.

"Did I ever tell you that you needed to send me weekly friendship reports?" Celestia questioned.

"N-no."

"So why did you think you needed to send me weekly reports?" Celestia asked while trying to keep the amusement out of her tone.

"B-because... it's... important that I keep up with my studies and never disappoint you..." Twilight admitted with a sad look.

"Oh Twilight..."

Celestia sighed heavily and ruffled her hair. "You're such an idiot sometimes. I said and I quote: Always send me reports when you are ready and only when you have something to report." She explained.

Twilight blushed and felt like an idiot. "Oh..."

"That explains half of what happened today. The other half is you going insane and casting a want-it/need-it spell on a doll," Celestia stated as Twilight cringed with an awkward blush.

"Twilight, you could go to jail for unauthorized use of that spell and you know it,"

"Yes..."

"So I need to know why you had a complete mental breakdown and I need to know that it won't happen again," Celestia ordered her without having the stern look on her face and now having a maternal one instead.

"Because... I wanted to get my friendship report on time and I need to do an incident in order to create a situation where I would use friendship..." Twilight explained.

"Yes, but you're a smart girl Twilight. You could've told a nasty little lie to one of your friends and started drama for a friendship lesson that way. You used the want-it/need-it and, from what I've heard, were acting like a madwoman,"

Celestia bonked her head once more. "That's for doing the events of today. Honestly, Twilight..."

Twilight looked away. Why had she completely lost her mind? Probably because she didn't think that her actions were doing much harm until the princess explained it to her.

Twilight sighed heavily as her mentor embraced her in a hug and smiled amused. "You're damn lucky that I love you like a daughter otherwise I'd jail you."

"Sorry..." Twilight said with a guilty look on her face. Though, she was touched that Celestia had seen her as a daughter just like Twilight saw her mentor as the mother she never had... without hurting her biological mother's feelings, of course.

"What am I going to do with you Twilight?" Celestia asked while ruffling her hair.

"Probably die of insanity... Mom." Twilight decided to test her boundaries and it resulted in her mentor bonking her head.

"Ouch..." Twilight groaned and rubbed her head.

"I'm sure Twilight Velvet will be thrilled to hear you called me Mom," Celestia smirked wickedly

"Eep!" Twilight jumped up in fear and shivered.

Celestia giggled evilly. "Relax, my student. I won't tell her. If anything, it will be our secret."

"Phew..." Twilight sighed in relief. At least her mother won't find out...

Celestia smiled and then released Twilight from the hug she was giving her. "Now then. No more tricks, got it?"

"Got it," Twilight nodded.

"Good. And whenever you feel like turning a report in, you must be ready with it first but only if you have something to report, got it?"

"Yes ma'am,"

Celestia nodded and sighed in relief. Thank god that's over. What a day this turned-

"Oh, Princess. I never did thank you for sending us that backup to help with Discord." Twilight thanked her.

"Huh?" Celestia paused with a confused look on her face.

Backup? She didn't send any backup against Discord? Come to think about it, she thought that her student and her friends were the ones who took him down!

"What backup Twilight?" She questioned.

Twilight paused. Wait... so the Princess didn't send...?

"Oh... so, you didn't send Natsu to help us."

"Natsu?" Celestia questioned with a raised brow. Who was this 'Natsu'?

"Oh! Well, she's the one that saved us from Discord! She's a very strong young woman who can use her anger as strength. I even saw her hair lit on fire and her eyes change color." Twilight had explained as Celestia took notes of what she had learned.

"Interesting... where exactly is this young woman? I'd like to meet this 'Natsu' and thank her in person."

Twilight nodded. "She's at Fluttershy's house if memory serves me right."

"I see. Very well then, my dear student. We shall pay a visit to the Element of Kindness so that I might meet your new friend in person and thank her for helping us against Discord." Celestia decided.

The princess would definitely like to meet this 'Natsu' and thank her properly. If what Twilight explained was true, then she definitely deserved their utmost thanks for stopping Discord. And if she was lucky, then maybe Celestia could definitely have a little chance at fun... without Twilight knowing.

Celestia grinned wickedly at that thought. Despite being the ruler of Equis, there were times when her job was rather dull... or otherwise, COMPLETELY BORING! So she needed to have fun every now and then... And if this 'Natsu' had a short temper, well... it might be her key to having some proper fun.

Trollestia of Equis!

The very next morning, Natsu was feeling a little bit better albeit still sick and her body sore… and not because of the little mishap yesterday although they both agreed it was just an accident.

They still couldn’t believe that they almost ended up hating one another because of a damn doll. Not to mention their emotions being manipulated like that. If Natsu ever found out who the culprit was, there would be hell to pay… in the form of her fists.

For now, the two were downstairs and having breakfast. Before she started eating, Natsu swallowed one pill with a glass of water. Its taste made her shiver a bit… ugh, what did the doctor prescribed her with? A horse tranquilizer?

The pink-haired girl’s spoon swirled up some of her oatmeal before putting it in her mouth to chew it. Natsu was also doing the same yet had difficulty since the taste of that pill remained. She shivered and took another sip of water.

“You okay?” Fluttershy asked.

Natsu nodded with a bitter look. “Damn pill feels so tasteless…”

“Ah… well, can’t do anything about it. Doctor’s orders… Besides, swallow them for me as well, okay?” Fluttershy requested and her friend’s answer came in the form of a gruntled nod.

Good enough, Fluttershy thought in her head while continuing to eat her oatmeal. Speaking of continuing, she couldn’t help but wonder what Natsu’s plans were today. The pinkette wanted her to step outside and get some fresh air since being cooped up inside wouldn’t do much good for both her and her body.

Maybe she could even get some practice in and throw a couple of punches without the use of her anger. Fluttershy would be her referee in order to keep an eye on her and watch out for any unsuspecting outbursts that she might-

Her thinking came to an abrupt hold as she heard a knock on the front door. A visitor at this hour? She wondered who it could be. Maybe it was Twilight or Rainbow Dash… they were her most frequent visitors after all. Oh, well… no sense in ignoring her mysterious guest.

Getting up, she walked over to the door and opened it slowly only to be surprised. “O-oh! Princess Celestia, I… I wasn’t expecting you today! If I had known that you would come to visit me, I would have-”

The princess, to her surprise, however smiled amused. “Fear not, Fluttershy. My arrival in Ponyville is due to the little mishap that Twilight had caused yesterday in regards to enchanting a doll.”

Fluttershy was surprised. So… the reason that she and Natsu were hit under the spell of the doll was because of Twilight!? Was the Princess being serious? Why would her friend even do that in the first place?

Seeing the confusion on the Element of Kindness’ face, Celestia decided to clear it up. “It was due to not writing her friendship report and sending it on time to me. An embarrassment if I’m being honest… never even gave her a time limit. I simply told her: ‘Always send me reports when you are ready and only when you have something to report’ and yet she decides to enchant a doll that makes everyone fall in love with it. If only you had seen the look on her face…” She finished while giggling.

Fluttershy couldn’t believe it… the mess that happened yesterday was due to a friendship report!? She shook her head and rubbed her eyes. That Twilight really took her studying way too seriously… Everyone was in love with a damn ugly doll and fighting over it all because Twilight didn’t finish a friendship report.

Releasing another sigh, Fluttershy just shrugged. “When in Ponyville, I guess… so, I take it that the situation has been resolved?”

“Indeed. After I had a little chat with her, we came to an understanding. In any event, there’s another reason I’m here… in regards to a young woman by the name of Natsu who saved the town of Ponyville from Discord.”

“Oh… Oh! Yes! She’s here with me. We’re having breakfast at the moment so she’s in the kitchen. Fair warning though - she’s a little sick.” Fluttershy explained.

Celestia nodded as Fluttershy invited her into her home and told her to sit on the couch. “I’ll be right back.”

The pinkette disappeared into the kitchen while Celestia just sat on the couch. In a few seconds, she would finally come face to face with the mysterious ‘Natsu’ and see for herself just what kind of girl she was. The Princess had a feeling that their meeting would end in a very positive way.

A few seconds later, Fluttershy returned alongside with the supposed ‘Natsu’ whom Celestia found to be stunning and gorgeous. Especially with her blonde hair and purple eyes… not to mention the fact that she seemed so young. From her age, she was no doubt a teenager or just entering into her 20s, probably the former.

Fluttershy moved out of the way but looked at Natsu. “Natsu, may I introduce to you the monarch of Equis, Princess Celestia. Keeper of the Sun and the former user of the Elements of Harmony.”

The princess nodded to Fluttershy. “I couldn’t have phrased it better, Fluttershy. So… this is the infamous Natsu.”

Natsu just gave a small nod. “Y-yeah, that’s me… nice to meet you or thank you for visiting? Sorry… don’t know how to deal in front of royalty… my bad.” She apologized.

To her surprise, the princess smiled. “It is quite alright. You all have our thanks for saving our world from the evil might of Discord. Based on what I’ve learnt from Twilight, you channeled your anger into a source of strength, correct?”

Natsu nodded. “Yeah… I’m still trying to learn how that’s possible. A couple of weeks back, Fluttershy and I headed to the old castle in the forest so I could practice.”

“I see… and what were the results?” Celestia questioned.

Fluttershy stepped forward. “I was assigned to be her caretaker so I’ll explain this one: apparently, when she channels her anger, she becomes very powerful and capable of delivering devastating punches. But if she remains calm, her attacks will be very weak. One of the reasons we were able to fully turn Discord back into stone was due to Natsu letting him in such a weakened state thanks to her punches and gauntlets.”

“Hmmm… interesting. And what about these gauntlets that you mentioned?” Celestia questioned.

“Apparently they came with me when I arrived here… I have a huge wave of amnesia washing over me and can’t remember much of my former life sadly.” Natsu explained.

“Ah… I understand. In any event, Natsu… I am grateful to you for protecting our land from the wrath of Discord and helping the Elements of Harmony in sealing him away.”

Natsu blushed in embarrassment. “N-no trouble at all, Princess… couldn’t stand by and let that freak of nature run rampant.”

Freak of nature…? Celestia had to hold back her laugh since in a way Natsu was correct. Discord was a random mishmash of very different animal parts. He did look like a freak of nature… not that she would admit it to the two in front of her.

Well, one thing could be concluded from this little meeting between herself and Miss Natsu… the blonde didn’t seem to be a danger. Still, the way that she becomes a powerhouse when channeling her anger would definitely need to be worked on.

It was at that moment that Celestia came up with an idea. A training section or center for Natsu to practice freely without anyone getting hurt… the Princess would definitely like to watch over her performance and grade it. She gave a nod to herself before clearing her throat. “Well then… It's high time I make my exit and return to Canterlot. I still have my duties to perform as a princess after all.”

Fluttershy and Natsu both nodded in understanding as the former went to open the door for the monarch to leave. Before departing, Celestia turned to Natsu and bowed. “I do hope we get to hear more of your heroism in the near future, dear Natsu.”

Natsu shrugged. “Depends if there’s a bad guy or anything related to a doomsday happening. Hope it doesn’t happen though… this place looks pretty peaceful if I’m being honest.”

Celestia gave a simple nod while hiding her face of displeasure. Very peaceful indeed… what she wouldn’t give for another villain to appear and ‘threaten’ to plunge their home into eternal darkness so that Natsu and the Elements could take care of the problem.

Closing the door behind them, Celestia dropped her façade and snapped her fingers. “Damn it… not at all what I was expecting. I was at least hoping to take advantage and find a way to spice things up… Ugh, back to my boring duties as a monarch, I guess.”

(Later…)

Following breakfast, per Fluttershy’s request, Natsu was walking about outside and taking in the fresh air. Such a beautiful day today… The sun was up and shining, birds were flapping their wings and flying and the wind was blowing calmly. It was the perfect day for walking and taking in some air.

Besides that, she didn’t know what else to do… either just wander aimlessly for a while and return to the house by lunch or maybe get some practice in learning another means of powering up without the use of her anger. Speaking of the former, the castle wasn’t an option to visit since there wasn’t much furniture to practice her punches on.

Perhaps with a bit of hiking and some luck, there would be another abandoned castle awaiting for her in the forest. One that had all types of furniture that were unusable for her to practice on. Another means of spending her day.

Or she could- “NATSU, DODGE TO THE LEFT!” A voice yelled at the distance as Natsu looked to see none other than Rainbow Dash running towards her location. The blonde dodged out of the way as the rainbow-haired girl continued to run towards an unknown location.

Natsu couldn’t help but wonder what the hell that was all about. Was she trying to break the sound barrier with all that running or was she up to something big? Either way, it wasn’t Natsu’s place to get involved in. She had a full day ahead of her and some furious planning to do as well.

Continuing on ahead, she just headed off to where her legs took her…

(Somewhere in Equestria - The Frozen North…)

Snow was continuing to fall from the gray clouded skies and the wind blew heavily as the frozen landscape remained covered in a blanket of a white. All was calm and peaceful in this mysterious land of Equis…

Until this peace came to an end by the opening of a mysterious gate high in the air as someone exited from the other side and began to fall very fast before the body connected with the snow itself.

The person in question was a young woman around 17 or very closely approaching 18 years old with her neck-length styled black-coloured hair that featured red tips at its ends was shaped in a spiked-up and choppier style.

A black red lined lace-up corset with four buckles hanging loose over a mesh sleeveless top over a white low cut long-sleeved blouse served as her upper attire as well as a black choker around her neck. There was also a red pleated skirt that was split at the side with a small brown belted strap across the gap and bright red shorts under it that dabbled as her lower attire.

On her arms, two sections of black bracers with large brown buckled straps were featured around the wrist as well as black fingerless gloves that were adorning her hands. Around her waist, a brown belt with several bullets with a buckle of a silver rose emblem on it alongside a pouch on the right side with a dog-like based emblem attached. Lastly, a pair of black, thigh-high steel-toe boots with red soles and heels adorned her feet. They featured a single buckled strap followed by a rear seam and a large brown buckled strap with attached pouches near the top, over a pair of brown mesh tights. Her red-coloured cape was in pristine condition and it came with a hood.

Next to her was a mysterious object that was currently inactive and colored in rose red along with black trims… an object that was of great importance to the young girl.

They both laid in the snowy landscape… unmoving for a long time as the cold wind began to pick up.

Breakfast, Helping Hand (And a New Arrival on Equis)

View Online

A couple of days had passed since my meeting with the Princess and honestly, I felt myself being super bored. Despite me training and spending my time with Fluttershy, it just wasn’t… What's the word? Satisfactory.

On this day, I decided to change my activity and do some jogging around the town to take my mind off things. Different things were on my mind such as how long will I not be having memories, my illness fading away and just figuring out new means to elevate my boredom.

Whilst I was running, my nose picked up a very tasty scent in the air. My stomach began to growl. Oops… all that negativity and questioning has made me work up an appetite. Plus, I don’t think I had breakfast this morning since I decided to just run out the door and start jogging.

Now where are those delicious treats coming from? Using my nose, I began to track down the scent as fast as possible. My destination was none other than the bakery of Sugarcube Corner and out sitting on the windowsill were a large tray filled with cookies! Apparently, they were put out to be cooled since they were just freshly baked.

While I was told about the bakery from Fluttershy’s friend, Pinkie, I never did enter it nor bothered to pay her a visit... Never seemed appropriate. My stomach growled and I proceeded to rub my belly. Truth be told, I was feeling a bit hungry and wanted to have something to eat.

“Breakfast time.” I told myself before entering the bakery.

Inside was a dream come true for anyone that had a sweet tooth. Cakes, cookies, pudding… Basically, it was a Candyland paradise and I wasn’t gonna lie but everything looked very tasty! I don’t know why but I just wanted to binge on everything!

“Can I help you, Miss?” A voice asked me.

Turning around, I saw a middle-aged woman with her hair styled in a whipped-icing style with a moderate rose with pale and light grayish crimson color scheme while both of her irises were colored in with brilliant rose while her skin was completely fair. She donned a simple beige shirt with a skirt and Mary Jane shoes. An apron was tied around her waist.

Must be the owner of Sugarcube Corner, so I gave a simple nod. "Y-yeah... I'm Natsu, a friend of Fluttershy."

“Oh I heard of you. The one who defeated Discord… my husband and I send our thanks.” The woman admitted with a grateful look.

Her comment made me blush a bit. "I don’t brag or anything but I couldn’t let his actions go unpunished. Plus, it just seemed right to jump in and do something."

At that moment, my tummy released a growling noise as my blushing increased. “Oops… my bad.”

The woman's lips morphed into a smile before she replied. "Sounds like someone is hungry."

“Y-yeah… didn’t have a chance to get breakfast.” I admitted with a sheepish look.

"It's fine, my dear. Pinkie has been meaning to invite you over ever since she explained to me and my husband about your exploits." The woman admitted, which surprised me a lot.

“Really? That’s quite a surprise.” I replied before taking a seat at an empty table.

"Oh, yes indeed! So, what should I prepare for your belly to be satisfied?" She questioned and handed me a menu to choose.

I looked at the selection of goodies before me and shrugged. “I don’t know to be honest. Any recommendations?” I questioned the owner.

The woman kept her smile. "I think I know what might cheer you up. Take a seat and I'll be around soon enough." She assured her.

I took her advice and sat by the windows and watched the world go by. This place was pretty peaceful... not gonna lie. Even though I don’t remember much about my home, I had already made the decision to adopt Equis as my new place to live in.

Kind of wish I could remember anything about my old home though. Wonder if anyone is looking for me...? If my parents or siblings are… if I can remember any.

Then again, my memory was all a fritz and I couldn't really answer that one. Even if I wanted to, I'll have to go on for a little while without any memories. Damn it all to hell.

Hearing footsteps, I turned to the owner who was bringing me… holy mother of god! What… What heaven was this!?

In front of me was a large plate with mouth-watering pancakes, complete with chocolate syrup and a batch of strawberry. Next to it was a cup of coffee. Holy shit… what a breakfast this was!

“Coffee is the morning pick, my dear.” The woman told me with the smile still on her face.

"Thanks, miss. Should really give me a boost of energy." I told her with my own smile on my face and got down to eating my food.

“It’s so good…” I admitted after taking the first bites.

"Why, thank you!" The lady admitted with her smile.

Cutting down pieces of my pancake, I put one-by-one in my mouth and chewed slowly. Also, I drank my coffee too since I was feeling thirsty and my energy was being regenerated.

I rubbed my tummy satisfied with my meal as the woman began to take away my plate, cutlery and empty cup. “I’m glad you enjoyed your breakfast, dear.” She told me before departing for the kitchen.

Leaving the café, my gaze immediately befell towards one of Flutters’ friends - Applejack, who was pushing a cart filled with logs. Whatever she had planned, I was unaware at this time. Nonetheless, I’ve decided to go and assist her.

“Let’s see if there’s anything I can do to help her out easily.”

Walking ahead, I noticed that it wasn’t just Applejack trying to push the cart. Another farmer was assisting - this one, quite big and muscular. Hmmm… a friend or relative? I wasn’t really sure.

"AJ?" I spoke and revealed my presence to her.

“Who’s calling me?” I heard a southern accent in her tone as she turned to see me.

She was a young woman who featured blonde hair that was tied into a ponytail at the end whilst her tanned-skinned face featured freckles with both of her irises being colored in green.

Her attire was befitting of her Southern style: a cowboy hat that rested atop her head, a western styled green and white top followed by a jean skirt with an apple belt and brown cowboy boots with apples on them. Cowgirl was written all over.

"That would be me. You remember who I am? Natsumi or Natsu for short." I asked her and hoped that she would remember me

AJ looks from top to down and then snaps her fingers. “Oh yeah! I remember you! You helped take down Discord, right?” She replied.

Blushing once more, I gave a nod before responding. "Y-yeah... that's me."

“Howdy and pleased to meet ya, Natsu. How can I help ya?” Applejack asked me with a look of interest.

"I'm looking for ways to make myself useful if you can believe it." I admitted.

Applejack gave me a nod with a humming tone. “Ah, feeling restless, aren’t ya?” She asked me and I gave a nod in return.

I gave a little bit more explanation as to my motivation for this task. "It's too early for me to return home and I wanna do something to be useful. What's with the lumber?"

“We're rebuilding a barn, since our first one was unfortunately destroyed. Hence why we need the lumber. If ya want to help us, we don’t mind an extra hand.” Applejack admitted.

Nodding once more, I gave a small smile before I went to pick some of the lumber from the cart. It should hopefully give them a much easier time to move the cart without any sort of trouble.

“Is the cart easier to move now?” I asked with AJ and the other farmer giving me a nod in return.

AJ gave me a smile in return. "Thanks, pardner. I appreciate it... now let's move on! Back to Sweet Apple Acres."

Grabbing a couple of planks, I was awed at how strong I truly was, we moved onward towards the farm.

Quite a big farm with many apple trees in the distance and a red-colored barn. I was awed by the sights and I wouldn’t lie to you: it was very amazing!

AJ looked at me and smirked. "A beauty, ain't it?" She questioned.

“It is something alright.” I admitted, looking at the trees that had apples resting in it.

"Full property of the Apple family and protected by its members... including me." AJ told me with a proud grin on her face.

“Wait, this whole forest is-” I began but couldn’t finish my sentence.

AJ beat me to it with her response. “Yep, generations of Apple family legacy right here.”

I was in awe... all of these apple trees and AJ's family owned it all? How does one even manage that...? Owning all of this and managing to thrive on it? A question that could be answered in the future possibly.

“Come on Natsu, we’ve got work to do.” AJ reminded me as she began to take out the lumber from the cart.

Nodding, I picked up some lumber as well and followed AJ to the designated location and started doing whatever she asked me to do…

(*Later...*)

I was helping the Apple family with building the new barn. A task that was easily accomplished by the end of the day. With the help of AJ and the other farmer, we were able to finish the job a lot quicker.

We were nearly wrapping up work as AJ came over and handed me a beverage that was... Huh, I couldn't tell what it was to be honest. It featured an orange-brown color and it was fuzzy.

“It’s apple cider.” AJ revealed and handed me the glass.

"Ah... thanks, boss." I nodded and took the glass from her.

“Welcome. My way of saying: Thanks. You really helped us out, Natsu.” She told me.

"Eh, it was no trouble. Just hope I was able to help you out with that barn." I admitted and took a sip.

“Ya did good today. Say, been meanin’ to ask: how ya fittin' in our little hamlet?” Applejack asked me whilst sitting down next to me.

"It’s a peaceful land. Lots of scenery and the people are kind too." Was my answer and then I took another sip from my beverage.

“How long do you plan to stay?” Applejack questioned me.

"Hmmm... that’s a good question. If I can't seem to remember anything about my old life... or my memories can't be returned... guess I'll be spending the rest of my life here." I admitted without any hesitation.

My answer made AJ’s eyes widen in surprise. “I understand. Maybe someday you’ll get your memories back.” She responded back.

I gave a nod in return before replying. "Let’s hope so."

Looking up, I saw that the sun was beginning to go down and early evening was steadily approaching. “Wow, it’s already that late?” I questioned

AJ shrugged. "Well, we have been workin’ all day, so yeah..." She pointed out.

Finishing off the last of my beverage, I stood up and gave her the empty glass. “I’m heading off then. See you another time?” I asked her.

“Don’t be a stranger.” She told me with a smile.

Nodding back at AJ, I smiled at her and walked back home. My tummy was rumbling and truth be told, I’m feeling a bit peckish. Time to see if Flutters has anything prepared when I get home.

My walking was a quiet and silent one back to the house. Nobody stopped me or even got in my way which I wasn’t expecting to be honest. Kinda of thought that someone would get in my way about now yet nothing.

Soon, I made it back home and opened the door. "I'm home!" I announced.

“Welcome back.” Fluttershy called out from the kitchen.

Heading for the bathroom upstairs, I went in and washed my hand... kinda of a hard task to do due to the fact that my other arm was still a robotic prosthesis. Never really knew how I acquired it sadly.

I managed to clean up my other human hand without much trouble before frowning. “Either I need a waterproof prosthesis or something that will help me out in washing my body better.” I told myself.

Once that was done, I headed back down and stepped into the kitchen. "Did I worry you with my absence?" I asked and sat down.

“Nope. I’m sure you had something important to do.” Fluttershy told me.

"Yep… I was helping out your friend Applejack." I replied.

"Oh? Helping out AJ with what if I might inquire?" Fluttershy questioned me.

“Building a barn, among other things…” I trailed off.

"A barn, huh? I take it you were helping out with moving the strong materials and putting together stuff?" Fluttershy concluded.

“Yep. Speaking of farming, her patch of land is quite interesting to say the least. Does her family own everything in Sweet Apple Acres?” I questioned my friend.

A smile formed on her face. "Oh, yes! Her apples are the reason that I’m able to make apple-related dishes." She revealed.

My tummy roared for food as I smiled sheepishly. “Sorry about that. Let’s feed the beast that is my tummy.” I made a joke.

Fluttershy rolled her eyes but kept her smile. "Boo… that was the worst joke ever." She replied.

“Sorry but I’m not sorry. So, what’s for dinner?” I questioned whilst smiling.

"I've prepared something special for just the both of us - lasagna. Covered in mouth-watering cheese and extra tomato sauce. My first time making it... so bear with me." Fluttershy pleaded.

Upon hearing the word ‘lasagna’, my mouth began to drool and couldn’t be halted. Why am I suddenly thinking about an orange cat that has a craving for Italian food?

Shaking my head, I got up as I helped Flutters set down the plates and utensils along with getting a pitcher filled with apple juice... I can already taste that lasagna in my mouth. Couldn't wait to start eating… hopefully soon.

Once the pieces of lasagna were set on our plates, I took the first bite and chewed it very slowly… hmmm, she’s done well with cooking it.

“How is it?” Fluttershy inquired about my opinion on her dish.

"Really good." I gave her a compliment.

Hearing my comment, Fluttershy released a giggle. “I’m so glad that it’s to your liking, Natsu.” She told me.

That giggle caught me off guard as I blushed heavily. “What’s so funny?” I decided to ask her.

"Mmm... what indeed." Fluttershy told me mysteriously and resumed eating.

I got annoyed and pouted. “Come on… tell me what’s funny!” I pleaded with her.

“Hmmm… nope!” Fluttershy had an amused grin on her face.

I started to get annoyed as my face and cheeks turned red whilst she was being amused more and more. “Stop it!” I demanded her.

“Again… nope. Also, I took a picture.” Fluttershy admitted with a smile.

"HUH!? You did what!?" I was at a loss for words. How did she even do that!?
“You heard me and don’t bother asking me what type of picture and where I’ve hidden it cause I won’t tell you.” She replied and giggled yet again.

“WHAT!? Why aren’t you going to tell me!?” I demanded in anger.

Fluttershy giggled and responded. “You’ll never know.”

"Tell me!" I demanded with my face being completely red.

Fluttershy placed a finger on her chin before she responded. "Let me see... NOPE!"

My eyes immediately turned red and I was about to yell at her until she lost her smile and frowned. “If you keep that up, then I’ll punish you… very hard. And there won’t be any desert. Are we clear, Natsumi?” She questioned me, like a stern mother would to a disobedient child.

I sank back into my chair and gulped a bit... afraid of Flutters completely. My eye color changed back into lilac. I gave a nod as she smiled in satisfaction. We both continued to eat without a care in the world.

Guess I’m not getting that picture anytime soon… probably for the best. I don’t even want to know what’s on it.

(*???*)

Clashing the two stones together, she tried to form up sparks to which she was hoping to start the fire… with minimal success. She nevertheless hoped it would work soon since she was starting to get really cold!

“Come on, light. Work, damn you!” She demanded.

She tried harder to get some sparks in the hopes that her campfire might be started… but nothing so far was happening. Damn it all to hell! She threw the stones away at the far back of the cave.

Slumping onto the ground, she groaned… only to halt as an idea came up into her head. “Wait a second. What if I do this…”

Trailing off, she took out a silver bullet from her belt and snapped it in half as she poured the powder onto the wood. “Okay, so far so good…”

Going back to grab the sharp stones, she got closer to the powder-covered wood and clashed them together as sparks began to come out as she pleaded. “Please light up.”

She ignited the wood and powder and started a fire which made her grin in relief. Finally! A place where she could rest for the time being…

She sat down and warmed up her entire body. "Ah, that's much better… at least one of my problems is solved."

Her happy face turned sour as she began to wipe a couple of tears from her eyes. “Yang… where are you?” She questioned with a sniffle.

And for that matter, what about the rest of her friends - Penny, Weiss, Jaune and Blake? What happened to them?

She could only sleep with the sound of silence and worry due to the fact that her friends were still missing.

Another Side, Another Story (Ruby's Icy Arrival!)

Oh, and one last point of clarification about this central location of yours, do not fall... Do. Not. Fall.

The last words from the spirit of Creation, Ambrosius. Those were the last words she heard... before her eventual plunge. It served not only as a warning but also to make sure that the sentence never came to pass.

But sadly... it did not work. And the last thing she remembered... was the fall. Her fall... along with the rest of her friends... first came Yang... followed by Blake and herself... she didn't know what had happened to both Weiss or Jaune... or even Penny.

She hoped they were all okay. Alive too...

In addition to falling down the abyss, she could also remember her opponent Neopolitan who had somehow tracked her down to Atlas... eager to kill her. For some unknown reason.

Neo, who kept attacking her, was also triggering her trauma and adopting the forms of her sister... Penny... and Oscar. It was the last few moments she remembered before slumber took her as the fall continued.

And the first thing that she felt when her eyes opened... was the cold wind. She saw a blanket of white all around her. Snow? Was this... snow? If it was... then that meant that she was alive... and kicking. For the moment.

Raising her shivering hands, she swatted away the snow and rubbed her eyelids... the snow was blowing heavily which made her shiver a lot. Standing up slowly, she shook the white blanket off her body and rubbed her hands together.

As the snow storm was increasing, Ruby was beginning to feel her aura shattering and her body stiffing from standing in the cold weather.

Shelter... have to... find... one... now...Ruby thought weakly in her mind, shivering as her body stiffened. She found her high-caliber Scythe-styled Sniper Rifle (Crescent Rose) in its compact form easily in the snow before her legs slowly began to move one step at a time.

She needed shelter and quickly before she froze to death from this damn winter! And she thought Atlas was a completely frozen patch of land!

She... needed... a shelter... her temperature... low... from cold weather...

A cave... something... anything! She walked slowly as her body was close to giving out... the icy wind was blowing heavily and making her freeze even more.

Her semblance wasn't an option since her aura was very weak and she wasn't strong enough to zip away... she wasn’t strong enough to use it and her eyes began to freeze from the cold air.

Despite her hands feeling like rocks, she used her remaining strength to rub them slowly before continuing onward... her vision slowly becoming blurry. It was... so cold and she was feeling so tired.

As she kept walking slowly and covering her mouth with her sleeves, she noticed something in the distance. A... she... she didn't know... keeping her walking slowly despite her energy draining more. Her aura was gone and the cold weather was getting to her.

Clenching her eyelids deeply, she was able to make out something. Grey... s-stone... it looked like... a rock? Large enough... entrance? A cave...? Probably... maybe? She took s-slower steps onward... reserving the energy as best she could.

With the last bit of her strength, she reached the end of the trail and saw what the thing was... it was a gaping hole. An open hole for a cave! She could hardly believe it! She found a warm shelter... Ruby entered the cave through the entrance and hoped there wasn't a wild animal inside to maul her to death. She didn't have the strength to do anything anymore.

To her relief, the cave seemed to be empty which was a good sign. It was a little cold but it was better than being in the winter wonderland where the snow was still blowing. Rubbing her hands together, they were eventually warm enough for her to finally touch the surface and stone walls without any sort of trouble.

Her 'warmed' fingers rubbed both of her eyelids and her vision was now cleared... finally. Before she decided to settle down and rest, she wanted to explore her temporary home to see what she would find. Hopefully, there were items to help her start a fire or something like that.

Her exploration eventually revealed some crates that were inside the cave... and new questions arose in addition to her current location. Why were there crates in this cave and what purpose did they serve? She continued to search the cave in the hopes of getting an answer.

Best guess that I can come up with is that this used to be a smuggler's cave of some sort. Abandoned though... wonder where the people went? Ruby thought in her mind as she walked over to the nearest crate.

Picking it up, she threw it at the wall and it shattered to reveal... nothing! There wasn't anything in it! Ruby was stunned... there had to have been something inside the crate. She was certain! Maybe she would have better luck with the rest... She hoped.

Ruby began smashing every other crate, looking for something to warm her from the cold. Like blankets or something.

To her frustration, almost all of them were empty! Well, safe for some that had frozen meat in them. It would solve her hunger problem at least.

Once she got a fire started, of course.

She continued searching and shattering said boxes... wondering if she could find a medical kit or something to help her warm herself.

"Come on, come on! There has to be something in here to help me out!" Ruby yelled in desperation and frustration.

Soon after reaching the last box which was smashed, Ruby found a survival kit with some other stuff like fresh bottles of alcohol.

“T-Thank god! Finally!” Ruby yelled with relief and started gathering all the firewood to start a fire... hmm, those alcoholic bottles could help with serving as fuel.

Collecting all the firewood that she could find, she formed it together into one to make a campfire. With a little patience and a small chance of the wind blowing... she might succeed.

Picking up two sharp stones together, she clashed them and tried to form sparks to which she was hoping to start the fire… with minimal success. She nevertheless hoped it would work soon since she was starting to get cold!

“Come on, light. Work, damn you!” She demanded.

She tried harder to get some sparks in the hopes that her campfire might be started… but nothing so far was happening. Damn it all to hell! She threw the stones away at the far back of the cave.

Slumping onto the ground, she groaned in frustration… only to halt as an idea came up into her head.

And for that matter, what about the rest of her friends - Penny, Weiss, Jaune, and Blake? What happened to them?

She lay down near the fire and closed her eyelids as she could only sleep with the sound of silence and worry because her friends were still missing.

However, she sat up and shook her head. “No, I can’t fall asleep!” Ruby told herself in worry.

Her stomach growled and she decided to get something to eat like that frozen meat she found. A quick meal and then maybe she would get some rest.

Grabbing one of the preserved meat that was frozen, she activated Crescent Rose and pierced it on the tip of the scythe's blade. “Maybe after a quick meal I can get some rest... for now, stay awake and alert.” She told herself.

Using Crescent Rose, she held the meat by the fire as the ice melted and began to cook it up. Her tummy started growling once again as she rubbed it. “Just wait.” She pleaded with her stomach.

The meat was slowly turning into a deep crisp brown as Ruby licked her lips... she couldn't wait to bite on it. Right now, she was dying to put some meat into her system.

Once it was cooked enough, she removed the pierced meat from the fire and waited until it was cooled down. She brought it over to her lips and then took a bite, she began to chew it with her mouth closed... so much better. The heat from the meat gave her a little bit of her strength and energy.

Smiling to herself, she continued to eat until the piece of meat was gone. The warmth gave back a little more of her energy... she sat by the fire and continued to warm herself. The meat was a little salty though... she could use a drink right about now. Hmm... there was the alcohol.

Ruby frowned and shook her head. "Not exactly in the mood to become an alcoholic... at least at this very moment." She admitted.

She paused and looked at the remaining crates that she didn't smash or examine. Perhaps there was something else that she could find to quench her thirst. She got up and began rummaging through the boxes yet all she found was the meat that was frozen.

“Just meat only, huh?” She asked with an annoyed sigh.

Refusing to give up, she rummaged through another box and found... alcohol. Really... just alcohol and meat? That's it?

“Huh... shame that Uncle Qrow isn't here. He'd love this... a paradise filled with liquor.” Ruby admitted with a small smile, thinking about her uncle.

She continued the search for a drink but was having limited success. Until she stumbled upon a box that contained... bags of coffee beans. Was that all that there was in these boxes? Meat, coffee, and alcohol? Was this a smuggler's den or a cafe? Ruby couldn't tell.

"Coffee, eh? Well, I do need something to keep me awake... problem though is that there isn't any milk around nor a coffee machine to make it for me. Damn it." Ruby swore with an annoyed look.

Ruby kept her gaze over the bags of coffee beans when her ears perked up as she heard footsteps that were getting closer. Ruby raised her brow... who was approaching? Was it someone who had found themselves in this frozen wasteland like her?

She turned around, preparing Crescent Rose to take the intruder on and she saw Neopolitan!? Alive and... very pissed. With her umbrella prepared... ready to kill her!

A diminutive young woman whose long hair that was loose was colored in both half-pink and half-brown with white streaks in the pink. She had pale white skin and two different colored eyes – brown on the left side and pink on the right side that beheld fury in them.

A bowler hat rested atop her head and her attire consisted of a chocolate brown jacket that started just below her shoulders and above her chest and had a pink interior, two brown belt shoulder straps, and twin gray button seams. She wears a gray scarf similar to her boss's and a white three-gray button-up vest-style top that is strapless and cropped exposing her midriff.

She also wore a pair of chocolate brown detached sleeves with puffy tops and pink trim alongside a pair of white funnel-cuffed gloves with gray button detailing. She also wears white belted pants and black and white spat styled ankle boots with cutout detail just above the ankle. The back of her jacket was shown to have a small, coned ice cream key chain that was covered by her hair.

She gritted her teeth in fury as Ruby twirled her scythe around. "Back for Round Two, bitch?"

Neo wanted nothing more than to continue from where she left off and destroy the bitch right there and now, but she collapsed and sneezed as she felt weak and cold. Ruby could also see her shivering but she still kept her stern gaze on.

Well- Ruby thought in her mind but didn't continue as her gaze was directed at the fireplace when she saw the flames dying, making her panic.

“NO, NO, NO!!!” Ruby put down Crescent Rose on the ground and rushed to grab some of the destroyed wood from the crates which she threw in the fire.

Neo, rubbing her shoulders, just watched her until the reaper turned to her. “Get me some alcohol! There's some in the boxes!” Ruby ordered quickly.

Not wanting to disagree due to the temperature being very low at the moment, she got up and rushed forward into the open box, pulling out the booze and handing it over to Ruby who poured it over the nearly lit-out fire.

As if by magic, the flames began to once more dance lively much to her relief. She wiped the sweat off her face and sat down by the fire to warm herself more.

Sighing in relief, she offered a spot for Neo to warm up too. She took the offer and sat down to warm herself up... away from Ruby.

Ruby decided to take the initiative before either could do something that they would both regret. “Look Neo, I don’t know where we are at the moment and I know that right now we're hardly prepared for a fight... so I propose a truce. What do you say?” Ruby asked, looking at Neo and putting Crescent Rose down.

Her intention was not to start a fight or escalate it. Right now, her suggestion just seemed like the most logical thing at the moment. However, Neo only ignored her and kept warming herself. It worried the little reaper a lot... was she about to attack her?

Soon enough, Neo got up and held her umbrella... Ruby was ready for an attack. Yet the little mute just threw her umbrella next to Ruby's compact scythe. She gave a simple nod to Ruby... the message was clear:

They would not attack one another. FOR NOW.

Ruby sighed in relief... at least she was willing to listen to reason. For now though... the situation was already tense enough as it is. What with both of them being stuck in this cave while the ice storm kept blowing outside?

Who knows when their pointless fighting might resume?

Actually... considering the exact moments during the Fall from the Central Location, a single question had been on Ruby's mind since that event: Why? Why was Neo trying to kill Ruby? Why join with her mortal enemy and that pest of a bitch, Cinder Fall? Why... just... why...?

She wanted answers and right now was possibly the best chance of getting them. Ruby however had one slight problem with her line of reasoning: Neo was mute. She never talked and instead used actions rather than words.

Ruby wasn't sure what she could do. She could ask but wouldn't be able to gain an answer... not without giving Neo a piece of paper and some pens to write down on. Plus, Ruby did not know hand sign language, sadly.

But like her older sister Yang once told her: If you don't gain an answer, you'll miss your opportunity forever.

Ruby nodded to the memory and then took a deep breath before asking. "Neo, why do you want me dead?" She questioned.

Said assassin only spared her a simple glance that didn't convene any emotion before turning back to warm herself by the fire. Her response annoyed Ruby who pouted heavily.

"Hmph... figures. Whatever. I'll leave you alone. Enjoy the cold treatment." Ruby declared, getting up and taking Crescent Rose with her. If Neo was going to act like that, then that was fine.

The cold was a much better alternative than this bullshit... but before she could take a step out, she was grabbed by the hood and dragged back inside.

Neo sat her down and gave her a sharp glare... as if telling her: *DON'T MOVE. FROM THE SPOT.*

The reaper could only just blink at this sort of response. Why did she decide to pull her back into the cave? Ruby didn't want to deal with this right now!

"Why?" Ruby questioned slowly yet the only response that was given was a sharp glare from Neo who continued to warm up by the fire.

“Look... can't we just let bygones be bygones? We need to establish some form of trust here. I can't be given the cold shoulder constantly.” Ruby admitted.

Neo kept warming up and didn't pay any attention, which was making Ruby reach her ultimate limit. She was beginning to lose her patience fast... this ongoing silence of not getting an answer was getting on her nerves!

The silence finally made her lose her temper. "WHAT IS YOUR FUCKING PROBLEM, SISTER!? What did I do to garner such hate from you!? Help me understand!” She demanded an answer.

Neo just kept warming herself, ignoring the reaper.

The action caused Ruby to groan in annoyance. "I try my best to be civil... Yet you are actively trying my patience. Guess I really shouldn't be surprised... You're just like your boss - a complete sociopath." She admitted truthfully.

Neo froze... Anger building up in her. How... how DARE SHE!?

Ruby noticed that she took out her still-functioning scroll and started it up... typing in a message of some sort. Was this it? Was this her chance to gain an answer as to why she hates her?

Soon, Neo was holding the scroll with the message that she wrote a few seconds ago: That psycho... was my boss... Whom you killed and took away from me. Take it back... NOW!

She was barely holding onto said scroll because her anger was visible... ready to release at a moment's notice depending on Ruby's response.

As for Ruby, she only stared in disbelief. That... That's it? That's her sole reason!? HER BOSS!? HIS DEATH!? That's IT!?

Ruby smirked coldly. "You sent me... My friends... Down the hole... All because you think... THAT I KILLED YOUR FUCKING BOSS!? THAT'S THE REASON WHY!? YOU... YOU ARE THE MOST PATHETIC IDIOT I'VE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF MEETING!" She yelled in anger.

Ruby breathed slowly as she clenched her fists in anger... then she said something that made Neo snap completely. "Your parents must be very proud to have a monster like you."

The midget assassin dropped her scroll on the ground and stood up... fists clenched and ready to tear her apart! She no longer cared!

Both girls charged forward and began beating the crap out of one another as Ruby punched and pushed Neo back who wiped some blood of her face. SHE'S FUCKING GOING DOWN!

Neo, glaring at the reaper, charged forward and started to throw her punches in as Ruby blocked the oncoming attacks. She tackled her to the ground and began to slam her fists into her face... all the while glaring at her. “You’re a bitch!”

Neo glared back and threw one punch at Ruby... both of their fists clashed with one another.

“WHY!? WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST LET GO OF HIM!? WHY DID YOU HAVE TO TARGET MY FRIENDS!? WHY ME!? I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH TORCHWICK'S DEATH! I DIDN'T KILL HIM!!!" Ruby yelled with tears of anger in her eyes that were dropping down.

Neo just glared at her as Ruby kept crying “Why couldn't you just let it go!? Why!? Why did you have to target my friends and me!? Why... why... WHY!?" She demanded the answers.

Neo took the opportunity to kick her away as she stood up and glared, intending to take her down and finish her off!

Ruby, crying at her attempts, glared at her. “You are a monster! You don’t even give a damn about anyone!!! You don’t care about how I feel! You don’t care about the people you killed! Do you have any idea how many you killed when Atlas was destroyed and you helped Cinder!? My friends are possibly dead because of you! A country was destroyed! You don't give a damn about nobody but yourself!” She yelled.

Neo however didn't bother with her plea and instead picked up her scroll to write another message which was as follows: Do you honestly think that I give a damn about how many people I killed and Atlas falling!? I don't give a shit about any of that! I hardly care about you or your friends at all! You and your pesky friends have been nothing but thorns in mine and Roman's side for far too long!!! WHY THE FUCK COULDN'T YOU JUST GIVE UP AND WALK AWAY!? ANSWER ME THAT!!!

“YOU AREN'T THE ONLY THAT LOST PEOPLE!!!” Ruby screamed in frustration.

Neo typed another message: Now you know how it feels... doesn't it, bitch?

Ruby clenched her fists in anger. “You’re… you… you want to finish this!?” She demanded.

Neo put the scroll down and clenched her fists in pure anger. Of course, she wanted to finish her!!!

They ran towards each other and threw punches simultaneously in their cheeks or all around. It wouldn't end until either one of them was defeated or ended up killing the other.

“Bitch!” Ruby yelled angrily.

Self-righteous Judas!, Neo thought in her mind.

Another punch! Followed by blocking and ongoing attacks...

“Your parents would roll in their graves if they saw you right now!” Ruby criticized harshly.

Bitch! You have no idea what my parents were! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT!!!, Neo thought in her mind.

How dare she criticize her!? She had no right to do so... she hadn't suffered like Neo had! This was why Neo hated her! She hated her because she was everything that the assassin wasn't!

She never had anything! She never was able to have a happy family! She never was able to make friends! SHE NEVER HAD NOBODY! All she had was Roman... until the bitch known as Ruby Rose took her from him!!!

She had nothing! NOTHING!!!

...But she would soon have one thing: revenge. And it was a dish best served cold!

Ruby and Neo continued punching and facing off against one another... as they rushed forward and prepared to kill one another... only for them to immediately miss and crash on the ground simultaneously... their Auras were heavily depleted and both were exhausted and getting cold.

Ruby breathed slowly and turned to see the fire... which was starting to cool down, making her panic. She... she needed more fuel... but she was too tired. Ugh...

She hated to do this... but she needed all the help she could get. “Neo... get more alcohol... let's focus on the fire and keeping ourselves warm... then later we'll resume our feud... deal?” Ruby asked as she rubbed her shoulders.

Neo immediately froze and got up to search the boxes for more alcohol. There had better be some more!!!

Her search eventually proved fruitful as she found more bottles along with some blankets... hmm, works for both of them. Not like they had any choice... the fire was about to go out and it needed more fuel PRONTO!

Showing them to Ruby, Neo walked over and poured all of the liquid into the fire which went back up and lit the room some more. Next, she covered both herself and Ruby with the blanket...

Much as she wanted to hurt her mortal enemy, she wasn't eager to freeze at this very moment. Perhaps when it was much more warmer they would resume their fight.

It all depended on whether or not Little Red was eager to continue from where she left off... and if she would take her words back.

“Are we done fighting?” Ruby asked the obvious question in the room.

Neo gave her a look that said, For the moment.

Right now they would keep themselves warmed up by the fire but later they would possibly resume the conflict between one another. They stayed together without moving a muscle.

As they were warming up by the fire, however, they were caught off guard by a small round object being thrown into the cave… It soon let loose and released a large electrical stun that made them both collapse on the stone floor.

Someone stepped into the cave... it seemed to be a mysterious hooded person. Who they were or what their goal was remained unknown...

They were wearing a set of winter clothes and their face was obscured by a mask of winter getup. Soon enough, other people joined alongside them as they turned to the group.

"Take them to our village... we'll have some questions for them." They ordered their subordinates, its tone hinted of being a female one.

"As your wish, Master! We obey you, Master!" They all replied... a hint of cheerfulness in their tones.

In no time, the followers all picked up the two mysterious human girls and their weapons... following this, they all departed out of the cave as the fire soon died down.

In the frozen wasteland, only the followers and the hooded woman in winter clothes walked... along with their captives in tow. She had lots of unsavory questions for them... and answers to gain as well.
