> Derelict > by CrimsonEquine > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Derelict > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Princess Luna felt the trickle of liquid drip down her back. It was a low tone in color today, the area above was littered with floating waters filled to the brim. Light was inconsistent and drowned out from these crying sacks of air. A broth of simmered elation and sorrow was combined into a cocktail of enormous weight. She couldn’t open her eyes to see. Princess Celestia had taken them away from her. What had to be done was for her sister to rise up from her wide chest wound drenched with stained essence. The perpetrator’s hooves shook back from her mistaken deed. Now unable to fathom the gravity of what had occurred. Their battle was strenuous, a mix of furious blasts and hard swipes. This was everything against what she desired. What was left was an expression devoid of movement and breath. Her eyes placed firm in strange directions that of an inanimate object. Sister’s own tongue laid in the course concrete flat and frozen out from her.  “Sister?” she said.  Princess Luna crawled her heavy legs forward towards the fallen goddess. Droplets of remorse dripped down from her, hidden away from sight from the torrent above. The puddle of alicorn juice diluted by the unending shower. There was a will, a deep abyssal jolt of shock that slid down her entire system. No way to edit this page in her story. Not even a proper thought or passage to scribble down to non-existence.  “So you murdered her huh?”  A miasma of guttural lightning shook her to the very core. She fired a blast of obelisk sized obsidian darkness that cracked the side of a Canterlot Castle pavilion. It sent bits of glass and misaligned stone debris down to the depths of Canterlot below. Discord arrived out from his circling yellow portal and neared her with a wide shrug. “You, you’re behind this, the constant way that Celestia treats me like nothing, you did it all didn’t you, you must have started all of this, I… I…!” A jovial chuckle that would shake the very core of any pony exploded out from Discord.  “Nope, it was all you, and all of the things you let your head tell you” he said with a scratch of his head. “You let yourself get this far, what's next?” Luna icened to the point of immovability. Her body felt ice cold amidst the immeasurable chlorine cloud in her consciousness. Speech was foreign to her, reality and its intricacies became loose and unobtainable.  “You do realize the Elements are coming at this moment to punish you” he said. “What will you do when you're back on the moon, but for all eternity?”  Luna sat down and felt a light that she wasn’t able to have in a long time. A burgeoning fire that came when she did things that would culminate to her favor. This dancing flame was also tearing her organs apart and her soul was put in an interlocking maze.  “I… welcome it, I was never for this world, nothing ever suited me as it should have been” she said with an ancient battle worn, but still a living smile. “Let me go mad on the moon for all of time so I may know true agony, it's what I deserve for existing after all”. Discord crossed those amalgamate arms and turned away.  “You poor creature of negligence, you never knew what you had till it was all gone, and now you will know for whatever reason” he said with a sigh. “I would pity you, but it would be wasted on sad creatures and their like”.  Luna lowered her head towards the deepest part of herself. It felt so rickety and stressed from the weight of her decisions. All she wanted was simple, but now all she was is a vacuum of emptiness.  “Thank you Discord, at least you acknowledge me even in these circumstances”.  “Well, I hope you find comfort in whatever it may be,” he said. “I’m off to another dimension, this pony place has gotten too depressing for my like”. Discord vanished in a slow transition away, only to showcase the image of the six running towards her from his after image. Princess Luna was blasted by harmony energies on sight and taken far away. Princess Celestia had a funeral from all over the world.  Discord was never seen again.  Princess Luna stared deeply at the sight of Equestria. The moon was dead and empty all over. A calcified rock that was enormous without life. It moved her heart that this brought out exactly what she was. But all she could do was stare at her bleak existence and feel the days turn to nights. She was a statue of discontent, but felt that her living away from there was a blessing.  The moon was boredom and the boredom became unending. Soon, the tired visage turned into a painful ouroboros. An unending calm that drove her to a cackling lucidity. It turned to the point where her pain became irrelevant.  Just another day of nothing… more than she could ever need… She would think a lot about reality. What the other ponies may have gone through after what she had done. Where the joy in her heart became crushed pavement beneath the unending passage of time. There was a peace in it, a working and talking nothingness. The idea of death was irrelevant, everything became the same as it ever was. The dream of absolvement meant that she could return and make another mistake again. So she just had to get used to the endless white. Death would be peaceful, but eternity was a second cousin to the robed skeleton. Sleep a close friend to the agony, a respite to the endless curse. Princess Luna would lay her head when her boredom became exhaustive. The dead hard ground comforted her after eyes gazed deep into the beautiful blue planet. Her dreams and self became nothing. Nothing of any sort...
