It was just a casual school day as the clock struck three and everyone was officially done with school for the week. Some students left already, though there were quite a bit of them outside or in the halls just making conversation.

Meanwhile there were a particular group of students that we all know and love. Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Sunset Shimmer. Seven girls, seven friends, all of them with different abilities that are truly magic.

The friend group are outside at the front of Canterlot High School, where they were just having a casual conversation.

“Well guys I’m gonna have leave soon. I’m gonna have to get to my 3 hour shift at the sushi place,” said Sunset.

“Meanwhile I have to make a few dresses for a couple clients of mine,” Rarity says as she paints her fingernails in a sky blue color. "How about you darling?"

"Everything is handled just fine at the animal shelter. I could be on break but I still want to make sure the animals are safe and accounted for," Fluttershy says a bit softly.

"I might as well start looking for a job for a change," Rainbow Dash says the other girls looks directly at her for the unexpected reply. "What? I'm actually serious."

"Sorry sugarcube, It's just that we weren't expecting that to happen," Applejack says.

"What made you think about getting a job anyways?" Sunset asks.

"Weeeel, I might need a bit of cash to get a new skateboard," she answers.

"Wait, what happened to your last one?" Applejack asked. Rainbow Dash just scratched the back of her head as she remembered the same incident she broke her skateboard out of rage.

Last Week

Rainbow was at the skateboard park trying out a new trick she's was trying to learn. Only a small amount of people were able to complete the trick. The trick was to get as much air as she can after reaching up from the top of the half pipe skateboard ramp and then bring the skateboard up above her head and then quickly back under her feet and make the landing. It takes a lot of practice to get it right, especially with a few bumps along the way.

Rainbow Dash makes her way to the half pipe to do the trick. She goes as fast as she possibly can, using a small amount of her super speed to accelerate a bit more. This is it, she's about to make the jump to do the nearly impossible trick so there's no turning back now. As she manages to get some air she makes sure to grab her skateboard and hold it above her head. After she completes that part of the combo she tries to get her board back under her feet. As she has the board under her feet again it was too late as it hits the corner of the half pipe and she falls down and injures herself a bit.

After suffering that type of blow she becomes enraged. She yells out in frustration and the next thing she knew she completely breaks her board in half.

“Oops...”

Present

“Well maybe you can take a job at the animal shelter. They can always use an extra hand,” Fluttershy suggests.

“You can also try mixin’ things up at my job Rainbow,” Applejack adds.

“Thanks,” says Rainbow. “I’ll start with Fluttershy’s job first.”

“It’s a plan then. You can try both of them and see which is better,” AJ said as the three girls walked away.

Later at the Animal Shelter

“I’m glad you wanted to try this Dashie,” Fluttershy says in her soft voice but a little bit more exciting.

“Sure. So when do I get to ride on a horse?” Rainbow Dash says.

umm... we don’t do that to any animals here,” she points out.

“Oh... well what do you guys do around here?”

“Well we usually feed them, make sure they get nourishment, and even give them tender loving care,” the soft spoken girl says.

“How about I just feed one of them?” Rainbow asked.

“Well sure... but I’ll just give you a practice test,” Fluttershy says as she pulls out Angel Bunny from her book bag.

“Ugh... no one said that a job would have a quiz or whatever it is,” she groans as Fluttershy pulls out two carrots.

“Look, all you have to do is feed Angel a carrot,” she explains as she gives Rainbow two of the carrots.

“Fine,” she says with neutral tone. Rainbow looks at Angel as she carefully moves the carrot towards him. As Angel eats part of the carrot with his teeth he holds it with his little arms and Rainbow let’s go of it.

“You did it Dashie,” Fluttershy says softly as she hugs Rainbow Dash. The rainbow-haired girl blushes a little. Angel tries to get the carrot in Rainbow’s other hand.

“Uhh I think one whole carrot is enough Angel.”

Angel on the other hand disagrees with Rainbow. The next thing she knew Angel jumps on her face and attacks her as he tries to get the carrot.

“Angel!!!!!! No... umm... bad bunny.”

“GET THIS THING OFF ME... AHHHH!!!!!”

Later at the Canterlot Mall Juice Bar

“It’s basically an easy job, nothin’ much,” Applejack says.

“So what am I supposed to do here?” she asks.

“Well you have to take an order from somebody at first. Then you just uses these here juice machines to give them what flavor they want or they be mixin’ some flavors,” she explains. “It’s that simple and I wrote down the first order for ya.” Rainbow Dash looks around the bar a bit nervously.

“Ok... easy how hard could it be?” Rainbow Dash went ahead with the task and the next thing she knows, she was in for a recipe for complete disaster.

Later

Rainbow Dash was outside of the mall completely covered in slushies and other juice flavors. Applejack joins Rainbow and sits beside her, covered in juice flavors as well.

“Ok well... that’s a minor setback.”

“Minor Setback?” Rainbow looks towards AJ.

“Ok maybe a huge setback,” she says. “But ya can’t just give up maybe that was not the right job for you.”

“Oh please AJ, I’m not gonna get a job. I’m no good at jobs,” Rainbow doubts herself. “I think I’m gonna take a walk after I dry off. See ya later Applejack,” she says as she walks in the mall to go get something to dry off.

Throughout the day Rainbow Dash just takes a stroll around town trying to figure out what to do for a job so she can get a new skateboard. After walking for a while she decides to go to the music store.

She opens the door and walks in the store as the door closes back by itself. She walked around for a bit until she heard the sound of boxes being moved in the back. It was Vinyl Scratch moving a couple boxes around back as she came to the counter.

“Oh hey, Vinyl,” she greets as Vinyl gives a thumbs up in response. “If you’re wondering why I’m here I was just looking for job so I can get some money for a new skateboard,” Vinyl looks at RD with a straight face as she was listening to her music.

“I don’t know it’s just that I’ve failed two times to get an actual job. I mean why do people need to have jobs if it’s a set up for failure,” Dash says as a customer comes in the store and approaches the counter.

“Hey, you know where I can get Vivid Screamz latest album?” the customer asks. Rainbow Dash uses her super speed to go get the album he wants and comes back with it.

“Here it’s 5 bucks for the CD,” Rainbow says as the customer puts 5 dollars with some change on the counter.

“Keep the change,” he says as he leaves the store.

“I don’t know Vinyl maybe I should quit while I’m a...” Rainbow Dash was cut off by Vinyl as she points at the money. Rainbow was confused until Vinyl points at the customer who was just leaving. “Yeah sooooo Oooooohhhh,” a light bulb turned on in her head.

4 Days Later

“Come again soon,” Rainbow says as she hands the girl her CD after she gave her the cash for it. As soon as the customer left Vinyl stood beside Rainbow and gave her a thumbs up. The two girls gave each other a high five as well.

Rainbow Dash, coolest girl in school, multiple star athlete, and official Employee of the day.

Bonding with Gecko

View Online

Fluttershy was in the middle of giving a small special bath to a special little gecko named Ray, who is Sunset Shimmer’s cute little pet.

Long story short Ray got small sicknesses about two and a half weeks and Sunset wasn’t sure what to do, so she went to the only person who knows what to do with animals. Fluttershy gave her some advice on how to cure Ray from his sickness and they would take turns each day. And that’s what brought them to today. Ray’s doing great so far, the sickness is still there but nothing serious at all. Sunset was in a taxi just arriving at Fluttershy’s home to pick up Ray. As the car stops at the intended destination Sunset gets out and pays the driver his tip and walks up to the house.

Sunset walks up to the front door and then knocks on its wood and waits until Fluttershy is available answer it. A good minute has passed until the animal lover answered the door, seeing Sunset in front of her after opening it.

“Hey, Fluttershy,” she greets.

“Hi, Sunset, Ray should be just about ready to go. I’m still doing his bath,” Fluttershy says as she lets Sunset inside her home. She goes to Ray to finish up with his bath. After Fluttershy was done she carries Ray in her hands and puts him in his glass container with his suitable habitat. “Ray’s been doing much better for this past week. He’s still a little bit ill but he should be more better and active now,” she smiles.

“Thanks Fluttershy,” Sunset hugs her. “I’ll be sure to return the favor, really,” she says.

“You don’t need too, I’m happy that you came to me to help your little friend.”

“Well I suppose I should get going,” Sunset says as she picks up the glass container with Ray in it. “See ya Fluttershy.”

“Bye Sunset,” she said in her soft, caring voice.

Sunset opens the door and walks outside, then closes the door behind her. Since she didn’t bother to try and walk all the way home, she calls Applejack so she could hitch a ride. She waits on the sidewalk for Applejack to come pick her up. After a little while the cowgirl arrives in her family’s truck and Sunset hops in with her gecko to be on her way to her home.

Sunset’s Apartment Complex

Sunset was just dropped off by AJ at her apartment. She thanks Applejack for the ride and walks inside her residence as the cowgirl drives away.

“How you doing little guy?” she asks her pet gecko. “I see you’re doing just fine, we’re gonna have some quality time together,” she smiles as she puts down the container and gets her keys from her pocket to unlock the door. She picks the container back up, goes inside and then closes the door behind her.

“So what you wanna do first?” she asks as Ray blinks a couple times.

“Exactly what I was thinking,” she says.

She opens the container and picks him up. The reptile crawls over her to one of her shoulders as Sunset chuckles a bit.

Sunset walks over to her couch and grabs her game controller and turns on her TV along with her gaming console. She pulls up the video game The Sieges of Rainbows and the game loads up.

“Get ready Ray cause we’re about to own this match,” Sunset says.

After the game finish loading Sunset immediately goes in to start the game. The main goal of the game was to complete each level when storming a secret base to get to the final boss and defeat em. So far after a while Sunset is making great progress, got up to level 8 out of the 30 in total. As Ray watched her play the game, Sunset grabs a sword for her in game character to attack some bad guys and presses various buttons to unleash some of her character’s special moves. It wouldn’t be long until she unleashes a special combo on a more stronger opponent and defeats them instantly.

“Ha ha, think you could get me and my partner Ray? I think not,” Sunset says happily as she moves on to another level. “Nice one. Give it to me fella,” she says as she raises a finger to the reptile and he gives the finger a high five.

After a little bit of time has passed Sunset... well Sunset and Ray since it’s a team effort, made it to level 10 to face a powerful boss opponent, which every 5 levels a more challenging and powerful boss appears.

Sunset and Ray tried everything in their power to defeat this powerful villain to move on to the next level in the game. They able to find something to weaken the boss but as soon as they do the villain uses his weapons and blasts them rapidly like it was completely effortless. The character in game lost all of its health and was down for the count as the words ‘Game Over’ flashes up on the screen.

“Dang it! We were so close too,” Sunset says angrily. Ray tries comforting his best companion by snuggling himself up against her neck. “Heh. Yeah we’ll get em next time,” she says.

She goes over to turn off the console and then uses her remote control to switch the TV onto a streaming service.

“Let’s watch a movie or maybe a series,” she says as she scrolls through the menu to find a specific show and landed on one named Dappled Shores. “Oh my gosh I love this show. They should be coming out with a season 4 soon,” Sunset mentions as Ray blinks a couple times. She presses the play button on her remote and the TV plays the series.

“Love ya little guy,” Sunset says as she pets Ray a bit on his.

As they watch Dappled Shores on the TV screen they enjoy the bond they have with each other. A special bond between a human and her special little companion.

Freaky Cornucopia

It was just a normal regular day as Rarity was sewing another outfit for another one of her clients. She’s known for being an expert in fashion and other forms of dresses or suits or even style. And even to come up with something flashy..... wait... Just two days ago a customer came over to the boutique and ask for a dress. She said to come up with something flashy. Sure there’s other choice words like cute or fabulous but she never heard flashy from one of her clients. In the end, Rarity is slated to finish up the dress by the end of the week, which is tomorrow, for her customer.

She’s carefully sewing a yellow dress with an orange outline on its bottom that also has leg pants fused with the dress. Rarity can’t help but to feel a little bit of deja vu when she’s making the dress. In fact it feels like she’s worn something like this before herself. No matter what she thinks of the thought of this dress is still there and it won’t get lost.

Soon she would be completely finished with the dress. She grabs a hanger so she could put this outfit on it and hang it up somewhere. It was nighttime already and she took most of her time trying to work on the outfit and she only took two breaks that entire time. She decided to call it a night so she could some sleep so she could have the energy to make a couple accessories to the dress. She took her warm shower, dried off, and put her nightwear on so she could head to bed.

“Goodnight Sweetie Belle,” she called out to her sister but with no answer. “I guess she fell asleep already,” she thought to herself. She just went to her room and then closed the door behind her and laid flat on her bed and went to sleep.

Everything was quiet in Rarity’s home... too quiet. Nothing else was going on until the yellow dress randomly start to walk in the night. Some strange purple aura surrounds the entire, making it look like it’s being controlled by magic. The dress look like it’s looking for something... or someone. The whole outfit floats to its destination, which was Rarity’s room, only to see that the room’s door is locked. The outfit raises a sleeve and the door immediately unlocks and opens. After forcing the door open, the dress makes it way over to the bed where Rarity was sleeping and instantly slipping itself on Rarity without her knowing anything.

In the morning

It was about 10 in the morning and Rarity was just getting up to do her usual morning things. As she got up from the bed she can’t help but to feel like she’s wearing something other than her nightwear but she a little tired to even think about it. She went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and occasionally wash her face and she locks the door behind her. She grabs some toothpaste and then puts some on a toothbrush. She brushes her teeth for a solid 5 minutes or so and then she spits out the toothpaste. As soon as she looks closely in the mirror to see yellow clothing around her. It was soon that she realized...

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

She shrieked and screeched a storm as she figured out that she’s in the cornucopia outfit. She ran down to her workspaces only to see that the yellow dress she made was off the hanger. No wonder that yellow dress looked familiar when she made it, it was the same cornucopia dress she made last year for thanksgiving. The same color, the same gems used, the whole enchilada. So many questions went through her head once. It’s not like the dress came alive did it? Maybe it did come alive then again. What matters is that she needs help from the only person who can figure this out, Sunset Shimmer.

Later

She called her on her phone right away and she answered and then took about 15 minutes to get to Rarity’s home.

“Rarity! Where are you?” Sunset called out.

“I’m up here darling,” she calls from upstairs from her room as Sunset goes up there. She knocks on Rarity’s door and she invites her in.

“Rarity what’s going ooo.....” Sunset trailed off as she sees Rarity in her cornucopia outfit.

“Is that...”

“Yes it’s the cornucopia outfit the whole thing,” Rarity says. “I just need your help darling. I don’t even know how this happened but I don’t know it was when I was making this dress for a client of mine it was just a yellow dress but then overnight it must’ve come alive and forced itself onto me for some reason and I just need your help,” Rarity talked a bit fast for Sunset to process some of her words, but one of those words she caught was...

“Wait... it came alive?” she asks.

“Yes exactly darling,” she says as she turns her back on her. “I don’t know how but maybe it could be magic. However I can’t be so...” she trails off as she sees Sunset in her green cornucopia outfit all of the sudden.

“What?” Sunset then looks down at herself to see that she’s in the green dress. “What the...” she says in confusion.

“Should we get to the others?” she suggests.

“Probably the best idea,” Sunset says. Both of the girls went outside the house to go talk to the others. As soon as they open the door they step outside to see floating people in cornucopia outfits.

“What... is happening?” Sunset asks.

“I don’t know but we have to get to... WHOA!!!” As soon as they knew it Rarity’s outfit inflated like a balloon and started to float all of the sudden.

“Rarity!!!” Sunset grabs the fashionista by her feet but she started to float herself as well.

“Nononononononono This isn’t happening thisisnthappening thisisnthappening,” Rarity says as she freaks out for her life.

“Rarity,” Sunset says.

“I have so much to do, so many dresses to get done maybe, just don’t let me float for the rest of my life,” she whines.

“Rarity,” she raises her voice.

“Why does this always happen to...”

“RARITY WAKE UP!!!!!”

“Huh?” Rarity woke up in her bedroom all of the sudden confused. “What happened?” she asks.

“This happened,” Sunset points to the teacup.

“What ever do you mean darling,” she asks.

“Remember yesterday when you drunk that tea when we were talkin’?” she asks.

“Well it turns out it was sleeping tea. You were knocked out for a the rest of the day and all night,” Sunset explains.

“I thought I was feeling drained out of my mind. You won’t believe this crazy dream I had. It was everyone floating in cornucopia costumes. Are even you were there Sunset,” the fashionista says as she was still trying to process some things.

“That musta been one strong sleeping tea,” Applejack says.

The three girls giggle at the weird moment they had as they just find it funny.

“Thanks for giving me the tour around Canterlot Zoo,” Fluttershy says to Treehugger.

Treehugger was just giving Fluttershy a tour around the newly built Canterlot City zoo. She thought that maybe Fluttershy would be interested in a small visit and perhaps even a tour around the place since she loves animals.

“No problem Shy. I knew you would love this place, mostly by the auras," the calm and chill girl says.

“You surely get me Treehugger,” she says.

“I thought that maybe you would enjoy hanging out here to be one with the zoo. I volunteered to help out for a week here,” the mellow girl explained. “You could try to help me out with some stuff if you like.”

“Sure. The people at the animal shelter said they should be fine without me so I don’t mind helping these cute wittle creatures,” Fluttershy smiles as she sees a bear in an exhibit beside her and rubs its cheeks.

“Cool girl. We don’t have to do that much, just feed these guys and girls and make sure they’re healthy, maybe then we could settle down by meditating,” Treehugger says.

The two girls went around the zoo to feed some of the animals. The whole entire zoo is a little bit big and it’s enough to fit in different animals and different places in the correct habitats. Fluttershy and Treehugger grabbed the special foods and fed them to the correct species. Fluttershy even used her power to talk to a few of them and persuaded them in case if they refused to eat. The girls would also take their temperature to see if they’re not heating up too much and made sure they were fresh and healthy right after they fed them.

After doing what they needed to do, they only had one more animal to check on.

“Ok. So this animal is like, not really a chill one so I was told,” Treehugger mentions. “Like it always misbehaves and sometimes can be intimidating. They just got this one for the zoo,” she shows Fluttershy the cage the animal to reveal a small koala.

“Awwww... how can this cute little koala be intimidating?” Fluttershy says as she decides to take the koala out of its cage.

“Uhhh... As much as I would love to spread love of positivity I don’t think it’s a good idea to take him out of the cage,” Treehugger advised.

“But no sweet innocent koala would ever hurt anyone—AHHHH!!!!!” Fluttershy screamed as the koala jumped on her face and terrified her as a result.

“Uh oh...” said Treehugger. “Okay little koala... um how about we meditate and look into... each other’s auras,” she suggested and gulped as the koala then looks at her. “Or not... anything that works with you as long as we get rid of all the—AHHH!!!” The koala jumps on the mellow girl’s face.

“Nononono. Um... bad koala,” Fluttershy carefully grabs the koala to try and get it off Treehugger’s face. The koala lets go and the shy and soft spoken girl accidentally slips and falls and the koala escapes. The two girls get up on their feet and dust themselves off as there are koala scratches on their faces.

“Oh no... we have to get the koala back in its cage or we’re gonna be in trouble,” she says. “They might even kick us out of the zoo. So uncool.”

“We have to get our koala back!!!” Fluttershy said as she freaked out at the mention of getting kicked out from the Canterlot zoo. “Come on,” she says as she grabs Treehugger’s hand and takes her with her.

Fluttershy and Treehugger were running around the town to find the koala. They were lucky to find the creature 7 or 8 times but each time they tried to catch it success was snatched away from their grasp. They tried just about everything to catch it. They tried offering a rub or massage, take it by surprise, heck even Fluttershy tried to talk to it 2 or 3 times, but all of their options proved to be a failure. The koala just goes back and forth, left and right, even went through under people’s legs and jump scared some of them.

After a while they were taking a breather and resting up before attempting to catch the koala again.

“I’m not one for negativity vibe but I’ll say it..... that koala is, like, relentless,” said Treehugger. She pulls out her phone to see a message from her boss. “Oh no... my boss is gonna check up on me at the zoo... In half an hour,” she says.

“Now we’ll never catch him,” an upset Fluttershy says as she puts her hands on her cheeks as she leans.

“Don’t worry Fluttershy. Sure one leaf might’ve fallen off but we still got plenty more in life,” said Treehugger.

“Leaves?” Fluttershy took a moment to process it and a light bulb went off in her head. “That’s it!” she exclaimed.

“What’s it Shy?” Treehugger asked.

“Treehugger we’re gonna need a leaf,” she says.

Minutes later the koala appeared once again. It was smelling something in its path and the koala decides to follow the smell. It found a leaf that’s on a twig and it’s on the ground for some reason. It smells the leaf on a twig and then decides to try and eat it until it moves away from the koala. Little does the creature know is that the leaf on the twig is tied by a really small string that leads to where Fluttershy and Treehugger are at.

Treehugger pulls on the string some more while the koala follows it.

“It’s working,” Fluttershy whispers as the duo are walking back to the Canterlot zoo while the mellow hippie girl is pulling on the sting to have the creature follow them.

After a little bit the duo made it back to the zoo with the koala on their trail. It would’ve saw them by now but it’s currently too distracted by the leaf.

“How much time do we have left?” she asked quietly.

“About 2 or 3 more minutes till she gets back,” she answered.

The two girls quickly went inside as Treehugger gave the string to Fluttershy so she can get the koala’s cage. The shy girl pulls on the string so the koala gets closer to the entrance. As it does it grabs the leaf on the trig so it can finally eat and savior its snack. As soon as the koala take its first bite, Treehugger quickly and carefully grabbed the koala and put it in its cage.

“Phew, looks like we did it Shy,” Treehugger says.

“And just in time too,” Fluttershy replied as the duo saw someone entered.

“Hello girls. I hope there weren’t any problems caused,” the nice lady says.

“Nah girl... er I mean ma’am. Everything is pretty handled here, not one hint of negativity in sight,” said Treehugger.

“Good job. Oh I might have to take this little koala here, turns out we had some sort of a mix up with this,” the lady says as she picks up the cage. “I’m gonna take this so I can work things out.”

“Right. Want us to stay and help around some more?” Treehugger asked.

“Won’t be necessary. You and your friend are dismissed for now.”

“Phew. To be honest I had enough of negativity from the koala,” she whispered to Fluttershy as they both giggled at that comment.

Sugarcube Corner

Another day, Another time at the Sugercube Cafe where everyone goes to hang out, eat, or just to drink some coffee, or listen to casual catchy tunes. Pinkie Pie was just going around to various different tables being the waitress and serving orders to people. Meanwhile Twilight and her Crystal Prep mate Sugarcoat were sitting down at their table just making up some casual talk talking about math and science subjects. Oh, what's that about Twilight and Sugarcoat you ask? Well ever since the Friendship Games and when they worked together on the music video for that video contest, the Shadowbolts wanted to make up all the wasted time for Twilight and took the time to know her to make up for their mistakes. Sugarcoat among the rest was mostly the most of neutral ground Twilight goes on.

"How about FeF3?” Twilight gave Sugarcoat a science problem.

“Child’s Play. Iron(III) Fluoride,” she answers.

“Ok, how about the combination and mass Lithium and Hydro...”

“Lithium Hydride which has a molecular mass of 7.95 and it’s the lightest ionic compound,” she quickly says in a bit of a strict monotone.

“Heh, you’re phenomenal at these Sugarcoat,” Twilight complimented.

“Years of studies since Pre K when I was only four. Spent my free time with more advanced sciences and physics even between equations,” Sugarcoat explains. “Sure I take breaks every once and a while, but everyone knows that the best students in their academics studies at their hardest.”

“Well sure but even I know that even we deserve to have some fun,” Twilight says.

“Correct,” the formal smart girl says. “You know two of our minds can think alike Sparkle.”

“Really?” she asked.

“Yeah. I never wanted to do this but I thought that maybe we could have a friendly competition,” Sugarcoat suggested.

“Oh. Well I didn’t expect this but... ok,” a shocked Twilight said.

“Consider this my way of ‘fun’ by putting our minds to the test,” she says.

“Ok. How about a little wager to make things more fun?”

“Oooooh I’m sensing a math ooooff,” Pinkie Pie says in her sing-song voice as she then rolls away in her roller skates.

“Whoever loses has to wear the most embarrassing thing they’ve ever worn in public for the entire week,” Sugarcoat says.

“You’re on,” both of the girls shook hands. “Let’s get down to CHS, the school should still be open today since clubs are still around in the afternoon.”

“May the smartest minds win,” Sugarcoat says. “Which, not to brag, I’ll win even by a close second.”

“Really?” Twilight scoffed. “Keep up with that and you’ll regret stating that precedent.”

“Do you want to take that chance?” she rhetorically asks.

“Maybe I do.”

“Even I know that I’m taking more risk of embarrassment.”

Both Twilight and Sugarcoat have each other menacing stares.

Later at CHS

Twilight and Sugarcoat were in one of the classrooms of CHS where it was completely empty. No one else besides Twilight, Sugarcoat, Pinkie Pie, and Sunset Shimmer. Sunset and Pinkie we’re gonna be the spectators of this little bet the two smart girls have.

“Sooooooo this is just a friendly competition right?” Sunset asked as she’s concerned because of how Twilight and Sugar oat are staring and each other.

“Yep,” they both say in unison.

“Looks like it to me... want a lollipop?” Pinkie hands the fiery haired girl a lollipop for her to enjoy.

“Thanks,” Sunset says as she sucks on the lollipop, tasting the flavor of it.

“Ok. So you two have to answer the most complex equation given in any math class. Whoever gets the right answer after the timer ends wins.”

“Not to mention this is the only shot you’ll get to not embarrass yourself in public for a week,” Pinkie adds.

“Yeah,” she says. “Anyways are you girls ready?”

“I’m born ready,” Twilight says as she adjusts her glasses a bit.

“I’ve mostly been ready ever since reading about calculus when I was four and a half,” Sugarcoat says in a slight monotone. The two smart girls stared at each other as if some dramatic music played in the background for a rivalry scene.

“I feel like this is more heated than I expect,” Sunset Shimmer whispers to herself. “Anyways... on your marks,” Twilight and Sugarcoat look away from each other for a brief moment and pick up their markers. “Get Set...,” the two girls put their hands, while holding the markers, on the board as they were ready to draw their solutions to the equation.

"GO!!!," Pinkie says as shes pops a mini confetti cannon.

The two girls at the board start to write on the whiteboard as they sovle the specific equation they were given. Sunset set the stopwatch timer to 5 minutes overall once they've started.

Twilight was doing pretty well on her side as she was solving a quarter of the problem already, but Sugarcoat was going to pass her up in her progress. Sunset and Pinkie in the meantime just spectates this so called ‘friendly’ competition. The two opponents up on the board kept writing as they were half way done in just under two and a half minutes. To them the moment just felt more like five to six minutes already as they battle it out to avoid putting public humiliation for the week. Both intellectual girls made this more tense than it even seems as if this were to be a retro beat em up video game except it’s replaced math equations and textbooks.

The two glanced at each other with their peripheral vision while they were still looking are their equations and variables. Flash forward a little later on they were four minutes in and both of the girls were drawing their final conclusions to the problem given to both of them. Looks like they were running out of time but they were confident that they’ll finish in time.

Soon they got to the final step of the equation and they solved they whole situation with their answers. As soon as Twilight and Sugarcoat completed their questions the timer was up and Sunset got up and checked the answers the two opponents gave.

“Well, I think that was a good challenge huh?” Twilight said.

“...Agreed, though it’s more likely one of us will be...”

“You both tied,” Sunset cuts in.

Twilight and Sugarcoat were surprised to hear that they tied in this bet. Well... now what.

“Should we do another round?” she asks.

The two intellectuals looked at each other.

“No. I think this proves Sugarcoat and I being evenly matched,” Twilight states.

“Agreed,” Sugarcoat replies. “I guess two intellectual minds think alike,” she smiles a little bit as Twilight does as well.

“Oooookkkaayyy but you do know that it means both of you pretty much have to embarrass yourselves,” Pinkie pointed out as the smart girls showed their bewildered expressions.

The Next Day

Meanwhile Twilight and Sugarcoat were in for a lot of embarrassing moments for the entire week.

Twilight was in her cornucopia outfit she wore before and Sugarcoat was dressed as a sailor all the while her bellybutton and a little bit of her legs are shown.

“There’s no way this is worth sacrificing my dignity,” Sugarcoat says in a slight monotone.

“Our dignity was destroyed a while ago when we wore these,” Twilight joked.

Both of the girls walk down the sidewalks Twilight giggled a bit. Sugarcoat even giggled a little herself too as she shows some humor for once today.

The Apple Thief

View Online

It was getting late outside in the evening on Sweet Apple Acres. The Apple family were just getting done with work around the farm including milking the cows, picking the apples off the apple trees, and a few other objectives. Apple Bloom had already finished her chore so she went inside the house. Big Mac finished with the cows so he was gonna check on Applejack to see if she’s done with the apple trees. AJ was done with most of the trees she needed to pick off of so she only needed to do one more.

“Almost done with them apple trees?” Big Mac asks his younger sister.

“Ah only need to pick one more tree and then I’m done for the day,” Applejack answers. “You willing to help?”

“Eeyup,” Big Mac says as he starts helping out Applejack with the apples. Both of them head over to the next apple tree so they can pick the fruits off the tree, but as soon as they get there it looks like someone is beating them to it.

“What in tarnation?” Applejack says in shock. “Hey!!! Stop stealing the apples!!!” she yells out to the person in black he... she?... runs away. AJ and Big Mac go after the shadow person who has his bag full of stolen apples.

The two siblings go as fast as they can but the mysterious shadow person escapes. Applejack and Big Mac stopped in their tracks as they lost the shadow person.

“Who was that?” Applejack asks.

“Ah don’t know about you but Ah think we got ourselves an apple thief,” Mac replies.

“Dooooh no one’s steals our apples and gets away with it,” Granny Smith says in anger.

Applejack and Big Mac were back in the house telling their only grandparent in the house about the bandit.

“I never even thought anyone could be stealin’ apples from us. I mean why not just buy it from us or somethin’?” Apple Bloom asks.

“Sometimes it just happens, sugarcube.”

“...or maybe they’re just jealous of us since we have the best apples,” Apple Bloom jokes as Applejack rubs her head.

“Well this apple thief ain’t no joke so we need to stop that person from stealing them,” Big Mac says.

“So what are we gonna do?” the smaller Apple sibling asks.

"Oh Ah know what we're gonna do," Granny Smith says in a menacing tone.

"We're not gonna mug 'em or anything Granny," AJ says as she looks at her grandparent.

Applejack and Big Mac shared a glance and triggered an idea.

The Next Night

It was late in the evening again the next night. Big Mac and Applejack were outside looking out for the apple bandit to see if the person is gonna strike once again. There’s only one word to describe the overall scene they’re in: it’s a stakeout. They were having dinner while hiding in between trees and behind a bush too, which they’re starting to eat their food out of the picnic basket Granny Smith gave them.

“Love myself a good stakeout,” Applejack says as she eats an apple pie. “One way or another we’re gonna catch that rascal.”

“Eeyup,” Big Mac says as he looks around the spot. “So how long ‘til they have the guts to show up?”

“Shouldn’t be long now, surely they’ll take the opportunity to strike,” she says. Just about 30 minutes passes along and the two apple siblings are still sitting there as the thief is still not here. Big Macintosh just hums one of his favorite songs to kill some time and Applejack fidgets with her fingers a little bit as she’s getting a little bit tired.

At the time the two apple siblings weren’t sure if the thief was even coming at all tonight.

“Wanna call it a night?” she asks.

“Hmmmmm…..” he barely makes a sound.

“…let’s stay out for another 15 and then we’ll hit n’ run,” she offers.

“Eeyup.”

They settle down and decide to stay around for a bit longer. It’s a good thing they did, because as soon as they were ready to leave, all of the sudden they heard something. It sounds like someone stepping on a twig.

“You hear that?” she whispers. The pair follows the sound where the broken stick came from only to hear another step on a twig. They get out of their hiding spot to find the mysterious person trying to hide behind a tree, but as soon as they are about to catch him the stranger makes a run for it and shoves the two out of the way.

“HEY!!!” Big Mac yells out but the shadow figure keeps running as if his life depends on it.

“Don’t worry. He’s not escaping from this apple,” Applejack uses her fingers in her mouth to make a loud whistle.

All of the sudden there are footsteps becoming more and more audible from behind. But they weren’t normal steps, it’s the sound of a galloping horse that’s been called in for a favor. The creature gallops with all of its might as Applejack grabs on to the horse and instantly hops on its back as it runs. With that done they went after the apple bandit to stop him from escaping the area.

It wasn’t long before the bandit was within their line of sight and the galloping creature charges forward. In only seconds flat, they get close to the anonymous person running and Applejack grabs a rope from the saddle holding a bag and throws it to catch the thief.

The horse slows down and stops in its tracks beside the person in his black suit as Applejack gets off of the animal’s back and walks towards the shady figure.

“Let’s see who you really are big fella,” she says as she takes of the vigilante’s mask. It is revealed to be non other than one of the Flim Flam Brothers. “Flam?!… Ah should’ve known,” a bothered Applejack says. Big Mac soon catches up to them in the spot.

“Did ya catch ‘em,” he asks.

“Yep. Turns out it’s one of the Film Flam Brothers.”

“Well it’s not me and my brother’s fault that we were trying to make business,” the con man says. “Especially since your little tricks caused us to decline lately.”

“So you’re just gonna try and take our business?” she asks.

“…again,” Big Mac adds.

“Like I said, business. Now if you’ll excuse me…” Flam gets up and tries to walk but Applejack pulls him back with the rope still on him.

“Oh no ya don’t. You’re gonna make up for the apple you stole.”

3 Days Later

“Step right on down to… Sweet Apple Acres,” the two brothers say as they’re in their apple costumes on a sidewalk in front of their business building. The Apple siblings stand beside them leaning against a wall.

“How much longer are they gonna do this anyways?” the older sibling asks.

“I’d give them a week… or two.”

They both laugh together quietly as the Film Flam Brothers continue their little personal ad.
