Fluttershy sat by the pool with her feet in the water. She watched silently as her friend swam at top speeds from one end of the pool to the other. Her arms appeared to move slowly yet her body seemed to move quickly. Despite the sounds of constant splashing, the young athlete seemed to be a fish in water. Working her way across the pool with ease. 

The young woman watching her, wearing a pink over sized off the shoulder shirt that said yay in small black letters and short shorts smiled, raising her fist in the air as the athlete made it to the other end. There was a silent moment as breathing could be the only thing heard, only be broken by a soft voice. "That was amazing Rainbow." Her praise being mostly carried by the echo of the room. "I think you beat your last time." She checked the stop watch and sure enough, she had beat it by 2 seconds. 

Rainbow Dash swam over, her one piece bathing suit seemed to meld with with the water. She quickly tore off her swimming cap and goggles, her hair tide back into a pony tail coming into view for a second. "How am I looking?"

Fluttershy cocked her head slightly. "Well, better than most after a there and back swim sprint." 

Rainbow chuckled. "I meant my time, though good to know I still look awesome."

The young adult felt her cheeks blush as she glanced down at the stop watch. "18.5 seconds." 

Rainbow scoffed. "Really? I can do better than that. Stupid shoulder!" The athlete proceeded to roll her right shoulder, wincing a bit as she did so.  She clenched her teeth. "Might have a knot there." 

The long light pink haired woman set down her stop watch. "Here, get up on the side, I'll take care of it." 

Rainbow let out a heavy sigh. "Thanks Flutters. Don't know what I would do without you." 

The young woman scooted a bit so that her legs could be lifted and she sat cross legged facing to the right. Rainbow pushed herself out of the water quickly, splashing a bit of water on Fluttershy though she didn't seem to mind. She carefully got into position and sat directly in front of her, also cross-legged though slightly bent forward. 

Fluttershy was quick to go to work, tapping the area around her shoulder, before digging her thumb in and squeezing the area a bit. Soon massaging the area with her hand, while using the other to check the area around Rainbow's other shoulder. "My goodness, have some serious knots Rainbow, are you sure you aren't working yourself too hard?"

Rainbow let out a strained groan as Fluttershy loosened one of her knots. "I promised myself I wouldn't use my speed powers... That means having to work extra hard... Ow... To be the best." 

Fluttershy let out a low sigh. "You aren't going to get very far if you keep working your body into a mess like this though." 

Rainbow let out another groan followed by a low moan. "That is why I have you around. I wouldn't have a chance at this without you." 

Fluttershy raised her eyebrow as she worked her way slightly lower. She did her best to ignore how much she loved being this near to her very close friend. "What do you mean?"

Rainbow Dash bent forward a bit more. "I mean, you helping me out like this. You are there for almost every practice, you stay way late here with me, so late that I had to get special permission and promise to the lock the doors from the inside while I am here." She let out a small coo as Fluttershy released another knot. "Ah, those hands are wonders. I wouldn't be able to move at all but thanks to you, I can still keep up with everything. And to top it all off..." Rainbow let out a low moan as Fluttershy pressed against her back. "Mhmph... You do all this for me and ask for nothing in return." 

Fluttershy smiled. "I love helping you, Rainbow. It makes me happy to see you happy." Also you do look cute in that one piece bathing suit, Fluttershy said to herself.

Rainbow let out a moan of annoyance. "While I appreciate that, I still feel like I owe you something." She glanced around the room and then at the pool. "Hey, how about I take a break and we just swim for fun. Together." 

Fluttershy was suddenly really glad that Rainbow wasn't facing her as her face heated up at the thought. She pulled her hands back and placed them on her knees. "Thankyou Rainbow." She said slowly. "But I am not that good of a swimmer." Also I didn't bring a swimsuit! 

Rainbow glanced back at her friend. "Wait, you've been near this pool all this time and you never even knew how to swim properly?"

Fluttershy glanced down at the pool then back at her friend. "I never have had to get good with swimming. I usually keep to the shallows while at the beach and the creatures I take care of are usually in a place I can get to without having to go super deep. I guess I just never thought about it too much."

Rainbow slammed her fist into her open palm. "Well, now I know exactly how I am going to return the favor. I'm gonna teach you how to swim."

"Rainbow..." She said with a bit of worry in her voice. "I don't know about this."

The rainbow haired woman scoffed. "Come on, where is that assertiveness that keeps showing up with whenever I have problems? Its time for me to help you."

The now less-assertive-feeling-one glanced back at the pool again. "But I don't even have a swimsuit here." She said softly. 

The athlete glanced back at her friend then around her. "Well. It is just us here. I mean, you could just keep your shirt on and you can borrow my spare top when we get done. How does that sound?"

Fluttershy felt her heart quicken at the thought of being close to Rainbow Dash in a warm pool... Close together... With only a shirt on... Her head swam for a moment as she almost swooned. 

Mentally slapping herself as she realized that Rainbow was waiting for an answer. Fluttershy slowly nodded. "Alright. But please don't look at me for a minute, ok?" "I can't believe those words just came out of my mouth. Where did that even come from?!"

Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Its not like I haven't seen you naked before, we've had to take some serious showers after helping to take care of some those animals in the past."

"Its more so that you don't notice just how much this is driving me crazy internally. I am pretty sure my face is warmer than the room we are sitting in!"

"Just humor me, please."

Rainbow looked like she was going to say something but dropped it. She instead nodded and quickly got back in the pool, making sure to stare hard at the opposite wall. 

Fluttershy did her best to keep her breathing low as she slowly raised her hands and gripped the sides of her shorts. Pulling them down slowly, making sure that there really was no one else in there with them. Next came her panties. She was really glad that she was going directly into a pool, might help cover up just how much this was starting to turn her on. Being with someone you have been crushing on for years and getting the chance to be with them so intimate like this... Thankyou pool water for your cover. 

Next she carefully took off her bra while keeping her shirt on. Despite the shirt covering her most explicit areas, she felt more naked in that moment then she ever had in her life. Slipping her arms into her shirt, she pulled the bra off slowly, pushing her shirt back down as she placed her underwear and shorts farther away from the pool. Turning back, she pulled down the shirt a bit, feeling something run down her leg as she did so. 

Rainbow let out a low huff. Fluttershy knew she was keeping her friend waiting. If she only knew just how big of leap this felt for her. She stepped forward, grabbing the sides of the pool as she quickly slipped in. What followed was a feeling of different senses going off all at once. 

The feeling of the water surrounding her body, the free feeling between her legs as the bubbles rose from all around her, followed by the feeling of having to pull down her shirt as it floated upwards, exposing her for just a second. Fluttershy was breathing heavy now. This wasn't just some bath she was about to take. This was hanging out in a school pool, about to be super close with a woman she had falling hard for as long as she could remember, wearing nothing but a freaking T-shirt. To say she was feeling overwhelmed would be an understatement.

"Ok, you can turn around now."

Rainbow Dash turned around and seemed to hesitate for a moment. Her eyes seemed to catch something and she had to glance at the ceiling for a second. "Ok, right." She took a deep breath and locked eyes with Fluttershy. "Take my hands, we will stay at the part of the pool where you can touch and we will begin." 

Fluttershy slowly walked forward. She seems... Off all of a sudden. Wonder if she... No... No way she would be interested me. I am way too out of her league!

Rainbow took another deep breath as her hands soon found themselves interlocking with Fluttershy's, she glanced down for a second before seemingly going into a daze. There was an awkward moment of silence as Rainbow seemed to contemplate something, shaking her head as she muttered something about focusing. She looked her friend in the eye. "Alright, lets start with what you do know. Do you have any experience at all?"

Fluttershy thought for a moment. "Well, I guess I can doggy paddle and I know how to lay on my back and kick if need be. I thought I knew how to breast stroke but I was informed later on that they don't involve actually using your breasts. But that's it."

Rainbow seemed distant for a second before blinking several times. "Uh. Right... Right. Lets start with the front stroke. Its kind of like your doggy paddle only you outstretch your arms and really kick your feet. Make sure to move your head to the side but keep focus on what you are doing."

Fluttershy gave a quick nod. "Oh, I've seen you do that a lot. I should be able to pick up on that easy enough. But what if I start swimming too deep?"

Rainbow let go of Fluttershy. "I'll use my hands to lift you up slightly as you practice, that way you won't go anywhere. Just lean forward with your arms and legs outstretched." 

Fluttershy faced to the side and did as her friend instructed, quickly sinking but also quickly feeling Rainbow catch her, those hands of hers holding her by her stomach in one hand and the middle of her chest in the other. Or at least, that seemed to be what she was trying for. Fluttershy felt her face go red as one of her hands fell upon her right breast instead. Rainbow seemed to grunt as she quickly moved it to just above her large melons. 

"Oh my gosh!." Rainbow muttered.

"Ok." Fluttershy said, trying to ignore the accidental slip. She was glad Rainbow could not see just how red her face had just now become. "I shouldn't go anywhere like this right?"

"Y-yeah." Rainbow stammered. "Just start using your arms and legs, I got you." 

Sure enough, after having watched her friend for a long time, Fluttershy felt the motions start to come to her naturally. Feeling one arm push out while the other soon worked its way up with another push in a fluid motion. Getting the kick along with it felt weird at first but soon, it seemed like she had the motion down. Rainbow did a good job at holding her in place. She shifted a bit, moving Fluttershy till she was facing away from the wall.

"Alright, I am going to let go now. You seem to have this down better than I thought you would. I've got you facing the opposite wall. Just keep going with this motion till you the other side. I will be right next to you the whole way."

Fluttershy was unsure about this but considering that Rainbow was a fantastic swimmer, surely she can help her if anything went wrong. Not to mention, she was finding this to be rather invigorating. Soon those hands of Rainbows left her and although she did sink a bit, she soon found herself steadily moving. 

Looking down and moving her head to the side for gasps just like Rainbow did, Fluttershy felt like the fish she had been watching for years. Just moving across the water, it felt different but incredible at the same time. Soon her hands hit the wall and as she reached up to catch it, she missed. Her eyes went wide as she started to sink. 

Rainbow was quick to grab her though, holding her close. "Whoa, easy there Fluttershy. I got you." 

Rainbow held onto the wall with one hand while gripping her friend around the waist with the other. Fluttershy was practically clinging to her friend with both hands. 

There was a moment as all that could be heard was Fluttershy's steady breathing. "Wow..." She said after a few seconds. Soon realizing just how close she was, she attempted to grab the wall with her hands, this time managing to do so. Rainbow let her go though she seemed to look away for a moment. "Mmhmm." Was all she said. 

Rainbow took another deep breath. "Alright, lets get you back to the shallows. But we are going to do so by teaching you another lesson. Lets work on your back stroke."

Fluttershy nodded, feeling a bit more confident now. 

"Just lay on my hands and work to keep kicking while moving your arms in a windmill like motion. You've seen me do this when I need to take a short break or catch my breath."

Fluttershy did as instructed, laying her head back and as the water engulfed most of her body again. She found the world going quiet as water filled her ears. She outstretched her arms and legs, working on the motions she had seen Rainbow work on for years. Just like before, watching Rainbow seemed to have made the motions come naturally. Rainbow held onto her back, she could feel her strong hands keeping her from going anywhere. Her eyes were looking up at the ceiling and she had to admit, this did feel relaxing. A glance over at Rainbow did cause her to blink in surprise. Her friend seemed to be lost in thought but being in her arms like this... So close. She felt her heart race for a moment. 

Rainbow locked eyes for a second before looking away. She soon let go of Fluttershy who began to quickly move back. As she did so, she heard Rainbow say something but couldn't catch it due to the water. She kept going, loving the feeling of weightlessness and wondering why she took so long to do this. It was a nice feeling but nothing compared to having Rainbow so close to her this much. 

As her hands touched the wall, she leaned forward and stood up, feeling her shirt condense around her. She was standing in a spot where the water went just above her hips. For some reason, Rainbow was a ways back, her face redder than Fluttershy had ever seen it. 

"Sweet Daring Do on a Cinnamon Roll." Rainbow muttered. 

Fluttershy cocked her head. "What was that Rainbow?" There was still a bit of water in her ears as she attempted to shake it out. 

"NOTHING!" Rainbow called back. Fluttershy was unsure but she swore she heard Rainbow mention something under her breath about something being "stupid sexy" but Fluttershy didn't know what she meant. Her shirt was covering everything. Besides, didn't Rainbow mention already seeing her naked?

Fluttershy slowly walked back over, stopping in front of Rainbow Dash who was currently underwater, bubbles coming up as she appeared to be yelling something underwater. Her face was still very red. 

The young woman glanced down, now noticing that the water had made her shirt at this point almost see through. She glanced around again and really noticed that there was no way anyone would see her. And it was just the two of them. The shirt was starting to feel uncomfortable. 

As Rainbow slowly rose out of the water, Fluttershy shrugged her shoulders. "Rainbow said it herself, she has already seen me naked and... I feel confident enough no one will see me..." 

She gripped the bottom of her shirt and pulled it upwards. It was heavy but she managed to quickly peel it upwards, exposing herself to her friend as her breasts bounced into view. Rainbow clutched her nose as Fluttershy pulled it the rest of the way off, feeling her long hair catch it for a second, running it through before she tossed it off to the side. She ran her hands along the back of her head, smoothing her long hair out again. 

"Ah much better." She really meant it. Feeling the water on all sides of her. It was a new freedom unlike anything she had ever felt before. Usually she would wear a skin tight jump suit or something but this... This felt better. Perhaps there really was something to her friends wearing less while swimming. 

Rainbow seemed to be shaking for some reason. "Oh come on... That's not fair." She muttered. 

Fluttershy almost forgot about Rainbow for a split second. She watched her friends eyes dance across her body, she suddenly wondered if she may have shocked Rainbow in some way. But how could that be? Unless she was in to her but there was no way that could be it.

"Rainbow Dash? Are you alright?"

Rainbow looked like she was about to say something before sinking back into the water. "Noooo." She answered before slipping back beneath the water. Fluttershy took a step forward, placing her hands on her friends shoulders as she slowly helped her friend breach back above the surface. 

"What's wrong?" 

Rainbow bit her lip before clenching her fists. "You look... Hot." She said in an almost whisper. 

Fluttershy blinked. There is no way she could have heard what she just heard. "What?"

Rainbow Dash looked straight up before looking down at Fluttershy again. "I said you look hot." She said more louder this time. 

"What?!" Fluttershy felt her mind melt. Rainbow thought she was hot... Does that really mean... Could she actually?

Rainbow took a deep breath. "For gosh sakes Fluttershy. You are soaking wet and naked and I can't take it anymore. I thought I could do this but I can't. I think you look sexy as heck! Your smoking hot. I freaking love... Gah! Everything about you is awesome. OK!"

Fluttershy felt her world light up like a beacon. She didn't know how to respond. She couldn't think of the right words. All this time, Rainbow felt the same way she did about here. She wanted to cry in joy, scream and hug Rainbow. She felt like her body had frozen up though. Rainbow was waiting for an answer. She had to do something right now. Oh for gosh sake... 

Rainbow looked like she was about to cry so Fluttershy did the only thing she could think of. She did the one thing she had wanted to do to Rainbow for years now. She reached around, brought her in, hugging her body close, and kissed her with a passion she had laid dormant for so, so long.

It was sloppy though and she pretty sure she bit her tongue a bit, but feeling Rainbow go tense only to melt in her arms, oh yeah, that felt incredible. The two stayed like that for a solid minute before Fluttershy finally broke the kiss and smiled.

"I've been loving you for years Rainbow Dash. I just didn't know if you would ever love someone like me like that."

Rainbow seemed to be a daze but soon shook her head. "Are you kidding me? Fluttershy, your freaking beautiful. You got a nice rack and a freaking cute voice to boot. I freaking love how your hands make me feel better. You care for me even in my darkest moments. How could I not fall for someone like you?"

Fluttershy wiped a tear that ran down her face. "Well now I feel silly. All this time watching you and all I had to do was ask."

Rainbow cocked her head slightly and scratched the back of her head. "Well I may have needed some coaxing. I am not big into the whole, lovey duvy stuff. But I can't deny how hard I've fallen for you at this point. Might as well go all out at this point." 

Fluttershy was about to ask what she meant when Rainbow suddenly took a step back, gripped the top of her swim suit, and with great effort, tore the thing off and slowly down, her breasts soon coming into view as she struggled to free herself from the wet constricting swimwear. After struggling for a bit, she finally managed to pry the thing off, pulling it down, stepping out of it and tossing it to the side as she stood now just as naked for all to see. 

Fluttershy's eyes danced over her friends body before resting on her confident gaze. "Wow, Rainbow are you sure?" 

"I wouldn't be about to start making out with you like this if I wasn't!"

She grinned and dove forward, catching Fluttershy slightly off guard as Rainbow wrapped her hands around her, her lips smashing against Fluttershy's. As the two were starting to struggle to stay afloat, Rainbow stopped and pulled back, grinning. "Say, how long can you hold your breath?"

Fluttershy took a deep breath, the assault on her mouth and body keeping her from understanding what had just been said. As she processed this, she smiled back, her thoughts wondering back when she used to do have to hold her breath and nose when dealing with some of her more smellier animal friends. "A good long while actually, why?" 

Rainbow slowly began to pull Fluttershy away from the wall. "Hold on to me and if you need to come up for air, tap my shoulder three times." 

Fluttershy felt her heart leap. This was it, she was about to sink down into the deep end with Rainbow. It was both terrifying and exciting. She grasped her new girlfriend tightly, taking in a deep breath and soon finding both their bodies sinking into the water. As sound disappeared around her, the pink haired woman took in everything. She watched her lover blush heavily before tapping on her shoulder three times. Rainbow nodded and kicked off the floor, sending the two hurtling back up to the surface. 

As the two breached, Fluttershy took in some much needed air as Rainbow kicked the two of them back towards the wall. Once there, Rainbow kissed her girl friend lightly before nodding. "Ok, that was hot. What do you say we call it a night though?" 

Fluttershy looked disappointed. "Already?"

"Did you forget? I've been practicing this whole time. My body is almost tapped out." Rainbow said with a wheeze. "Trust me, I would love nothing more than to continue having sex with the woman that I love, but I need to chill for a bit." 

Fluttershy glanced up at the diving board. "Could we chill together? Some place fun?"

Rainbow followed her gaze and nodded. "Sure." 

The two slowly helped each other out of the pool, casually make their way up towards the ladder. Once the two had made their way to the top, Rainbow Dash sat on the end of the diving board over the pool while Fluttershy sat directly behind her, spooning the athlete.  

Fluttershy rested her chin of Rainbow's shoulder and hugged her arms around Rainbow's waist. The rainbow haired woman sighed again at the lovely touch. 

"Guess I get to look forward to more of this. Not that I am complaining." 

Fluttershy let out a low hum. "I just can't believe it took us this long to get to this point. Well, I am going to make up for lost time. When you are ready, I want to join you in the shower later." 

Rainbow felt herself grin again. "I freaking love you so much." 

Fluttershy let out a low chuckle. "I never thought I would get to hear those words to me or that I would say what I am about to: love you too, Rainbow."
