An Unexpected Gift
Cozy Glow sprawled in her cage at Tartarus. Her pal, Tirek had moved to another mountain, which means she was all alone. She was bored and only, regretting what she has. It was Heart Warming Eve and Cozy Glow was staring at the entrance of Tartarus. She sighed and laid down, still staring at the door.
" What's the point. No pony will ever send me presents or cards. No pony even areas about me. They probably are enjoying and having a blast while this filly is bored out of her mind." Cozy sighed and sobbed.
At Ponyville...
Twilight is taking a deep breath, holding a box that was wrapped in pastel pink, engraved with cotton and a sparkly, crisp dark pink ribbon to go with it. She was pacing at the School of Friendship. " Ok. Calm down. You can give her a present and try to reform her. You have been planning this for weeks. You can do this." Twilight repeated and with a burst of magic, she teleported to Tartarus.
Twilight Sparkle opened the gate of Tartarus. Cozy Glow was too sad to notice when she felt a tap on her back. Cozy Glow turned around and saw Twilight Sparkle, smiling warmly at her and holding a small box. With a year in Tartarus, Cozy had kind of learned her lesson but she doesn't want to let her head mare know that.
" What do you want. Here to gloat or give one of your annoying friendship speeches. Thanks but no thanks. I want to be alone. I want you to go AWAY!!!." Cozy Glow yelled and sobbed. Twilight just smile and replied by holding the box next to Cozy Glow.
Cozy Glow stomped but after a short moment, she said, " Fine!" she muttered and groaned. Unwrapping the wrapper, she slightly smiled. This was something fun she enjoys and something she loves to do. After a few minutes, she pulled out a plushie. It looked exactly like her. Same cute face and coat. The stitches must take a lot of time and she can tell that it took a lot of time and hard work.
" Cozy Glow. Happy Hearts Warming. I thought it would be great to give you a present and I convinced the princesses to release you out of this cage." Twilight said. Her horn lit up and with a spark of purple magic, she was no longer in Tartarus. She was in Ponyville. Ponies and creatures were laughing, flying, and exchanging presents. Ponies hugged each other and laughed, while dragons and griffons fly and tell stories to fillies. Everyone was having fun and it was beautiful weather, with the sun streaming in and the clouds puffy and soft. Everything was perfect. The two ponies didn't talk much and walked all the way to Sugercube Corner. Twilight ordered some cupcakes and stared at her. raising an eyebrow, aware she knew she had a lot of questions.
" Why did you free me and is so kind of me?" Cozy Glow asked and but into her cupcake, licking her lips.
" I know you did terrible things a filly should never do. But I wanted you to understand the true magic of friendship. I wanted you to be happy. I would never leave you there to rot and die in a terrible way. It's just cruel. Cozy Glow, you used to be one of my best students in the whole school. You were so kind and sweet and loving. You're so blind to power and friends that you can't see that you have many good friends, a teacher who cares about you, and a good position. You had everything a filly could want and was so kind. Expect when greed took over you, you were blind. In friendship terms, you can't force a friend to be your friend because they will be a fake friend. They secretly don't care about you and will soon abandon you. It's terrible and the thought would make you quiver in fear. But with hard work and kindness, may you have a true friend who will always be there for you. You have to see what's really in front of you and stop being so greedy. Think deep before you do something. You're lucky that I didn't let you there to rot." Twilight said and pushed the stool away because she was finished with her cupcake. Cozy Glow listening to everything was silent. Everything Twilight said was true. She was blind with greed and she was so lucky. She was a very lucky filly before she was so greedy. And she would much rather have a true friend than a fake friend. She doesn't want to admit this so she was in silence, trotting, and following her head mare to a local park.
She still looked around and flew happily. It felt good to stretch her wings and finally fly again. She laughed and made twirls and leaps in the sky. Twilight chuckled, pleased she could make Cozy Gow happy and a great filly.
" Cozy Glow. Come and let get some ice-cream and lay down and listen to the birds chirp happily." They ordered ice- cream and lay down.
" Twilight. I'm very sorry for what I did. I truly apologized. Honest! Thanks for trusting me and being so kind to me and not forgetting about me. It really made me so happy and eager and feel good." Cozy admitted, her cheeks beat red with embarrassment. Twilight smiled and with a burst of magic, she teleported them to her castle. Cozy Glow opened the door and suddenly, everyone yelled " SURPRISE!!!" they yelled and threw confetti.
" We decided to throw a party. Twilight came up with the idea for everything. Nice to see you again." Gallus chucked and blew his hair. Cozy Glow's jaw was slightly opened in surprise. She smiled.
She climbed in a tall box and sincerely said, " Thaks. I want to thank everyone for caring for me and planning this party. But I want to say thanks to Twilight, who been so kind to me and showing me the true magic of friendship. Thank you and Happy Hearths Warming.
