Canterlot High are going to England to compete against Beauxbatons, Durmstrang and Hogwarts for the Triwizard. Along the way, there are romances. Instead of the Patil twins go with Ron and Harry, RD and AJ go with them.
Hermione, Ron and I sat at the Gryffindor table with Ginny and Neville. Of course, we couldn't talk about Sirius, but there were other things going on.
In the middle of the room was a statue, and standing beside it was our great and wise headmaster, Professor Albus Dumbledore. What was going on?
Professor Dumbledore annouced something about some schools. Our heads turned towards the doors, as about 100 girls came in, swooning. Elegant, I thought.
Next, 100 boys came in. But my eyes(and everyone's else's) were fixed on one man. "Krum! Krum! Krum!" yelled Ron, Fred and George.
I was astonished. Finally, a group of 12, mixed, came in. The mixed group sat at the Gryffindor table. The one with Krum sat with the Slytherins and the one with all the girls sat with Hufflepuff. Ravenclaw looked a little put out.
Our eyes were fixed on the statue. As Dumbledore melted away the covering, a goblet of fire appeared. Barty Crouch SR stood with a cup, the Triwizard cup. But then, someone else came into the room, before Dumbledore could annouce anything else.
It was Alastor 'Mad-eye' Moody.
But for now, the Tournament starts NOW.
HERMIONE POV
We gathered in the Great Hall, laughing and joking. We saw the Weasley twins get an ageing potion and use it. They fought. My classmates and housemates laughed.
A week later, on Thursday, we all gathered at our house tables. Canterlot High with us.
Beauxbatons were first, and a girl called Fleur Delacour was chosen. We clapped politely, as she went somewhere.
Durmstrang was next, and Viktor Krum, the Quidditch star, was chosen.
Canterlot High, a girl called Sunset Shimmer was chosen. I think she was a former villain or something.
For Hogwarts, we had Cedric Diggory!
The Goblet glowed. Dumbledore caught the paper. His face fell, as he read out the last name, Harry Potter.
I took Harry's hand as we went up together. I gave him a hug, before I sat down. I had also slipped a piece of paper in his hand, saying,
Good luck.
HARRY POV
I was surprised and angry I was chosen. Everyone, apart from Hermione, that is.
SUNSET SHIMMER POV
To be honest, I thought I would never be chosen. I thought it would be Twilight or Rainbow Dash. But me. Me? Why me?
I dipped my head as I walked with Rainbow Dash to the Quidditch pitch.
"I hate him!" I snarled."Draco Malfoy, that bastard!"
Rainbow Dash soothed me. "Hey, it's okay. He'll come around."
I smiled gratefully at her. "Thanks. See you later!"
I was in the tent, with Viktor Krum, Fleur, Cedric and Sunset. Hermione snuck in, she helped me. She hugged me and she smiled.
Dumbledore came in, shooed her away. Why?
Anyway, the dragons. Cedric had to fight a Swedish Short-Snout, he turned a stone into a dog.
Fleur got a common welsh green. Viktor got a Chinese Fireball. Sunset got An Ukranian Ironbelly. And me? Well, I got the Hungarian Horntail.I used my Quidditch Skills(That Moody told me) to escape the dragon and I basically grabbed the egg before my bottom got scorched. Heh. How funny.
I think Ron and Seamus believe me now, and lucky they do, because we need help finding our dates for the Yule Ball.
"Oi, Harry!" I cried. "I'm sorry about you and Cho. Would you er like to go with me to the Yule Ball?"
Harry smiled. "Y-yeah." he stammered. "Sorry, you're 16. I'm 14. Is that okay?"
"Sure!" I cried. "I hear Sunset's going with Blaise Zabini. He's 15, right? And Ron's with Applejack."
"Um, yeah." Harry replied. "Sure, I'll go with you!"
SUNSET SHIMMER POV
It's time! The champions have to dance first(Urgh) and then it's everyone else. I'm waiting for my date, Blaise Zabini.
"Hey, Sunset," said Blaise, taking my arm. "You ready?"
"Yeah." I said. I looked at the girl coming down the stairs. "My gosh, is that Hermione Granger?"
"Yeah," said Blaise."But she looks STUNNING!"
The music started and the 5 pairs started to dance.
Then this up beat music came on, from the band, the Wierd Sisters.
3RD PERSON POV
Harry and Ron sat down. Hermione came up to them.
"You wanna get a drink? Viktor's getting us some."
"No, I do not want to get a drink with that bitch." said Ron.
Hermione and Harry gasped. "Language, Ronald!" called out Hermione.
Rainbow Dash laughed. "Hermione, you should hear me! I swear like what- every other minute, right, AJ?"
Applejack nodded. "Yeah, she does."
Hermione saw Viktor and she took his arm.
"Ron, you wanna dance again?" asked Applejack. "Or... ya wanna just sit here? Ah don't mind, ah can chat with you, if you want."
"Er..." said Ron. "I'd rather just sit here and chat. So, Applejack, what do you like? Who are your friends?"
"Whoa, easy there, nelly! Well, personally, I like to work hard and ah enjoy playing the bass guitar. My friends? Well, that's Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer."
"Sunset Shimmer... Is she the girl who was chosen?"
Applejack nodded. "Yup, that's the one. She's a former villain, she was. But deep down, she's actually quite nice to be around."
Harry shrugged. "But wherever they are, I need them!"
Rainbow Dash grinned. "Don't worry, Harry. I'm sure they'll be safe. This is Hogwarts, after all."
"Yeah," said Harry. "My Godfather said that people die in the tournament!"
The 5 competitors stood poised ready on the diving boards.
Sunset smiled kindly at Harry. "You okay?"
"Yeah. Woke up to find no Ron or Hermione."
"Same here," said Sunset. "Woke to find no Twilight. She's my best friend. Harry, if something's on your mind, you should tell someone. When I was in my early teens, I had nightmares. I didn't tell anyone until the girls wheedled it out of me. Then that was when I started to journal to Princess Twilight in Equestria."
"I'm okay." said Harry.
The horn sounded. Sunset smiled one last smile at him then dove into the ice cold water. Harry followed suit.
Harry and Sunset swam side by side to where their friends were. Viktor swam past them(with a shark's head on his head), grabbed Hermione and left. Sunset nodded at Harry, swimming towards them. Cedric came past and grabbed Cho. Fleur never appeared. Sunset untied Twilight, Harry untied Ron.
"Harry, let me get Gabrielle."
Sunset untied Gabrielle. Between the two of them, they brought the remaining 3 back to the surface, but not before encountering Grindylows.
"Sunset, take them, go!" cried Harry. "I'll fight the Grindylows!"
"NO!" cried Sunset. "No, I'll help. If I let them go to the surface, I help you, then at least I know you're safe."
Sunset let go of them as she swam to help Harry.
An orange light flashed from her geode, emitting a wave of orange light. As it blasted away the Grindylows, Harry and Sunset swam to the surface.
"Sunset!" cried Applejack. "Sunset!"
Towels were thrown onto the 2 teens. Applejack didn't want to let go of Sunset. As the 2 girls stared at the sky, Sunset realised that she was meant for Applejack.
Applejack kissed Sunset on the lips, glad she was safe, happy, and healthy.
"Sunset..." said Applejack. "Ah didn't want to admit it, but ah think I'm in love with you."
Sunset looked amazed. "I feel the same way about you. At CHS, I was a bit shy telling you how I felt. But you know..."
The final task was the enchanted maze. As Hogwarts came first, then Canterlot High and Durmstrang then Beauxbatons.
Harry and Cedric stepped into the maze first. Sunset and Viktor weren't far behind, and Fleur entered last.
Harry and Sunset were separated. Their friendship had started to form during the second task. Harry was sad he could not work with her.
Harry met Fleur and Viktor. Fleur leaned against the hedge, Viktor was pointing his wand at her. Fleur collapsed, wooden vines wrapped wtound her legs as she was dragged under the hedge. "Periculum!" cried Harry, red sparks shooting from his wand. He ran onwards, bumping into Sunset and Cedric. Viktor came around the corner.
"Look out!" cried Harry. "Viktor's been bewitched!"
Viktor pushed Sunset against the hedge. Sunset fought bsck. Sunset touched his bare skin, her cyan eyes flashed white.
"Mr Moody." said Viktor
"Ah, Viktor Krum. Just the man I wanted."
"Shall I go?" asked Hermione. "I can wait for you."
"Yes, go. Hermioninny. But don't vait for me."
"It's Her-my-on-nee," said Hermione patiently. "Anyway, that's good. I need to find Harry and Ron and check on them."
Hermione smiled and walked out.
"Vait, Meester Moody, vhat are you doing?"
'Moody' cast a spell on Viktor, so he would be bewitched.
Sunset gasped. "You were right, Harry! Listen, both of you, go! Let me take care of Krum. You both deserve to win. Harry, I've suffered near death before. You have too. But your life matters. You've got exams. I haven't. I'm 17. You're 14. Both of you, take care and run!"
Cedric nodded. "Sunset's right. Come on!"
They ran. Cedric tripped up, the wooden vines encasing in.
"Relashio!" cried Harry. "Reducto!"
Cedric was freed. A blue glow, the cup. As the 2 boys argued who would take it, time was ticking. They decided they would both take it.
As the boys touched the cup, the world span.
"Avada Kedavra!"
A green light shot towards Cedric, hitting him squarely in the chest. The squat figure grabbed Harry and shoved him against the statue.
As Harry took a closer look, it was Peter Pettigrew.
Peter was brewing a potion, to make the dark lord return.
Harry screamed as he saw his enemy.
Voldemort greeted his death eaters and then noticed Harry. He challenged him to a duel.
As they duelled, a white light appeared. Cedric, Lily, Bertha and Frank appeared. The people he had killed. James came finally. Harry's parents smiled proudly at him.
"Harry, take my body back to my father!" cried Cedric.
"We are so proud of you!" said James.
"Let go!" cried Lily.
"We will distract as much as we can. Take the portkey and go!"
Harry let go. The people Voldemort had killed swarmed onto Voldemort like a swarm of bees. Harry grabbed the portkey and Cedric's body and suddenly, he was back at Hogwarts.
Sunset and Rainbow Dash were the first to spot him. Sunset knew something was up.
Rainbow pushed her in her wheelchair. Sunset had lost the use of her legs due to what Viktor did to her. Madam Pomfrey had amputated them very quickly, and painlessly. Twilight gave Sunset her robotic legs before.
Below, Harry was crying. Sunset gasped. Cedric was dead.
Amos Diggory ran down, burst into tears when he saw his son.
Harry clung onto Cedric's body. Sunset felt sorry for him.
'Moody' took Harry out. Rainbow nodded to the others and they resolved follow them. Hermione nodded to Ron as they followed them.
A small crack of the door was left open. They could hear 'Moody' talk about the graveyard. Harry was very confused. Twilight held up her machine, the lie detector. Hermione turned to see Dumbledore, Snape, Pomfrey and McGonagall behind them. They had enough. They burst through the doors. Hermione shoved 'Moody's' finger into the machine.
The machine beeped. Saying that he was a lier.
The Hogwarts teachers drew their wands, Snape poured the vertaserum into 'Moody's' mouth. As 'Moody' spluttered, Dumbledore opened the case to find the real Moody.
The Fake Moody was Barty Crouch Junior. "The escaped convict!" cried Twilight. "Fluttershy, call an owl with your powers!"
Twilight grabbed a piece of paper out of her notebook. She quickly wrote a note. An owl soared in.
Fluttershy whispered instructions into its ear. It nodded and grabbed the note from Twilight.
Then it headed to Azkaban. Ron and Hermione went to either side of Harry and helped him to the hospital wing.
"Sirius!" cried Harry, immediately recognising the black dog.
Sirius became human. "Harry! Oh my gosh! Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." said Harry. "This is Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer."
"Um, Madam Pomfrey?" asked Sunset. "I can still play the guitar, right?"
"Of course," said Madam Pomfrey.
"I'm happy you're safe." said Sirius.
"Sirius! I need you to gather all the old members of the Order of the Phoenix. Voldemort has returned."
