Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle and Spike were on the beach, laughing and talking. But when Sunset Shimmer ran up to them, it was like a dark cloud covered the sunshine. "Guys? Is everything alright?" asked Sunset. "What's up?" "Sunset Shimmer! Callin' yerself our friend!" scoffed Applejack. "Why is she even talking to us?" squeaked Fluttershy, hiding behind Applejack. It was just like the Anon-a-miss incident all over again. "Guys!" pleaded Sunset. "Guys..." Sunset's voice broke, as she started to cry. "Twilight," whispered Sunset. "You remember me, right? We were dating, remember?" Twilight turned away from Sunset. "We only met once, when you yelled at me at the friendship games." "Doesn't anyone remember I've changed?!" cried Sunset hysterically, running towards a secluded area. "I feel bad for Sunset," said Twilight. "We have each other, and we just drove her away. Now she's all alone." Sunset sat down against a wall. Dear Princess Twilight, This may sound strange, but are we friends? "Please answer...โ€ Of course we're friends! What's wrong? Sunset forced a laugh. Maybe if I come and see you in person, well, not in person, exactly. > Equestria(for Sunset), Investigation(for Sci-Twi) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 2: Equestria(for Sunset) and investigation(Sci-Twi) "Twilight!" cried Sunset, wobbling on 2 hooves. "Whoa! Whoa!" Princess Twilight caught Sunset. "Hey, easy, Sunset. Now, tell me what has been going on." Sunset took a deep breath. "Well, it's a long story. Basically some bitch has erased all the good memories of me from everyone and now no one in my world believes me." Princess Twilight led Sunset to a seat. "Take a seat. Whilst I ponder, help yourself to some sweets." "Thanks," said Sunset. Princess Twilight sat their, thinking. "I know who can help, but you 2 need to reconcile first." "Celestia." whispered Sunset. "I'm here," whispered Princess Twilight. Sunset took a deep breath. "Okay, Sunset." Sunset looked directly in her former teacher's eye. "Princess Celestia. The last time we saw each other, I was your snide little pupil who betrayed you and abandoned you." Princess Twilight nudged Sunset. "I wouldn't have said it like that!" protested Princess Twilight. "What Sunny means to say is-" Sunset ignored the comment. She sighed. "I mean I come before you a changed pony, humbly asking for forgiveness, guidance and knowledge." Sunset shifted awkwardly. "Or, I can just go, and... you... never have to..." she thought about her words. "... see me again." Celestia trotted down regally, embracing her former student. Celestia lifted up Sunset's head with her hoof. With a smile, she replied, "I've missed you, Sunset Shimmer." Celestia hugged Sunset. Sunset squirming in discomfort, "I'm so sorry," she whispered. Twilight and her friends were in Canterlot, thinking. "Did you see how Sunset burst into tears when I said about the friendship games? If she had gone back to her old ways, she'd would have pleaded. But who did it? How? Why? She even mentioned we were girlfriends. She must have loved me, right?" "Sunset Shimmer? Loved you?" sneered Rainbow Dash. "What the hell are you thinking of, Twilight? She's like a fucking er bitch!" "Language," said Rarity. "I know you are frustrated but cut down on the profanity." They went to get a bite to eat at the Mall. "Twilight, if Sunset was our friend, I have her details. I only have people's details if they are really close," said Pinkie Pie. Sunset Shimmer walked into the Mall. She sat down at a table with a tray. Next to her, was 6 very familiar girls. Sunset caught parts of the conversation. They were talking about her. > Sunset vs Trixie > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 3: Sunset vs Trixie Sunset Shimmer ran up to the girls soon after they had finished their match. "Girls!" cried Sunset. "Do you recognise this?" Sunset showed the girls the memory stone picture. The girls shook their heads. "Oh, please," said Trixie. "This is the same girl who made flawless fake photos of your friend!" "That was a long time ago!" cried Sunset. "I've changed for the better, doesn't anyone believe me?" "Oh!" cried Trixie. "Did you really?" "Yes, I did!" shouted Sunset, her voice rising higher and higher "And you messed me up at the Spring Fling!" yelled Rarity. "I've changed, Rarity." whispered Sunset. Don't you remember? The friendship games, when I saved Twilight?" Twilight raised her hand. "Actually, Sunny has a point-" "Wait, Twilight, you called me by my nickname!" "When I transformed into Midnight Sparkle, someone must have saved me. But I don't remember anyone. Sunset, I believe you. I'll help you." "You will?" asked Sunset, brightening. "Twilight, I love you!" Monday Morning. "So, suspects," said Twilight. "Everyone." Sunset sighed. "You know, Twilight. I know where to check." "Where?" asked Twilight. "The yearbook room. There are pictures of everyone. Whoever do not have pictures are our prime suspects." said Sunset "Of course!" cried Twilight. Twilight pulled Sunset closer, letting her lips slide over Sunset's. "Twilight, what are you doing?!" yelped Sunset. "I love you, Sunset Shimmer! I don't why I doubted you in the first place!" "Thanks," said Sunset, blushing as red as a tomato. "I love you too." > Invisible:part 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- chapter 4: Invisble, part 1 "Who's Wallflower Blush?" asked Twilight. Wallflower raised a shy hand. "Um, excuse me, I'm Wallflower Blush." Sunset noticed a picture on the screen. "Oh, Wallflower, what's that?" she asked. "It's the school garden," replied the shy teen. "I use it for gardening-HEY! What are you doing?!" "That was a long time ago." said Applejack "She was soooooooo mean!" cried Pinkie Pie Wallflower kicked a stone. Wallflower discovered a rock and saw a stone. She then used its powers to erase all good memories of Sunset Shimmer... Sunset gasped. "You did this?" Wallflower squeaked. Assuming it was a yes. Then she burst into song: You don't see me fitting in I'm sitting here alone Right beside my shadow Always on my own If I could share my wildest dreams Maybe they would see I'm more than just a wallflower There's so much more to me I'm invisible, invisible A droplet in the mist Invisible, invisible It's like I don't exist Right beneath my picture This is what you'll read A laundry list of nothings Not likely to succeed A yearbook with blank pages That no one wants to sign A memory forgotten Until the end of time... "Hey!" cried Wallflower. "What are you doing?!" Sunset and Wallflower argued for a long time. Wallflower gave up and erased their memories. Twilight realised she could unlock the door with her geode. Holding the door open for her girlfriend, the 2 girls sprinted to the parking lot, where the mane 5 were leaning against Big Mac's truck. > Invisible:part 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- chapter 5: Invisble, part 2 "Wallflower?" cried Sunset. "Wallflower! Stop!" Wallflower turned. "You remember my name?" "I remember everything. The memory stone. How I acted. All of it!" "But how?!" yelled Wallflower. "I erased the entire afternoon!" Twilight gasped. "Listen. I used to be just like you. Sure, I was popular, but I was lonely." said Sunset. "But I'm not lonely!" bawled Wallflower. "Because I have... PLANTS!" Wallflower facepalmed. "That sounded less lonely in my head." "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." pleaded Sunset. "No, you're not. You're just trying to look good in front of your friends! And it's working! Gah! How am I supposed to get back at you if nothing I do matters?! I hate you!" Sunset gasped. "I wanted to teach you a lesson by erasing your friends' good memories of you. But obviously that didn't work. But what if I erased all their memories of you and at high school?" Sunset was on the verge of tears. "You can't!" she pleaded. "And you'll be stealing memories of what makes them them, of who they really are! You'll be stealing my girlfriend's memories!" Twilight's heart swelled for her girlfriend. A green light shot out towards them. But it never came. Sunset Shimmer had absorbed it and glowed green. "NOOOO!" cried Sunset, glaring down at Wallflower. "I ruined their friendship once before. I'd rather give up my own memories than let it happen again!" Sunset's eyes turned to horror. A different coloured strip flew out, one of each of 5 girls. "Fluttershy! No! Applejack!" she grunted. "Rarity! Aah! Rainbow Dash! Pinkie Pie!" Sunset reached out to the girl she loved. "Twilight!" she wept. "Don't forget me!" As Sunset collapsed, unconscious. "SUNSET!" cried Twilight. "NO!" When Sunset revived, she gasped. "This isn't Canterlot. Where am I? Princess Celestia? What's happened to me? Somepony, help me!" she cried, clearly distressed. Sunset was crying, tear tracks streaked down her pale face. Twilight knew she had to do something. Laying a hand on Sunset's shoulder, Sunset replied, "Who are you?" Twilight sat beside Sunset, cradling her head in her arms. "We're your friends." she stated. Applejack and the other EGs joined in. "We may not remember you..." said Applejack "But after seeing what you did..." said Pinkie Pie. "...the sacrifice you made for us..." said Rarity Fluttershy extended a hand to Sunset. "...we'd be proud to call you..." "...OUR FRIEND!" chorused the 6 friends. The 7 girls ponied up. Sunset was very confused as to what was going on. "Wallflower! You have magic you do not understand! But it is nothing compared to the Magic ofโ€”!" said Twilight. Pinkie Pie nudged Twilight. "Yeah, yeah, we get it. Light her up, ladies!" Memories returned. Sunset landed, crouched against a wall. She didn't want to let her friends know she was crying. Twilight went up to her. Sunset turned, as she realised who that was. "Twilight? You actually remember me?" "YES!" cried Twilight. Sunset leaned on Twilight, sobbing her heart out. "It's okay," soothed Twilight. "Let it all out." "You? You really remember me?" asked Sunset between sobs. "Of course I do!" cried Twilight. "I do now!" "I... love... you." whispered Sunset. Twilight burst into tears. The two girls were sobbing on each other's shoulders. "I'm so sorry," said Wallflower. ". When I first found the Memory Stone, I only erased little things โ€“ awkward hellos, saying the wrong thing, literally any public speaking..." Sunset smiled a weak smile. "It's okay, Wallflower." She gestured her friends. "As long you don't pull this shit again, we forgive you. You need friends, and we will do our best to be a good friend to you." Wallflower and Sunset shared a hug. "Thank you. All of you. But especially Sunset."
