Some people say that fear is your worst enemy, but not in the case of Fluttershy, as she now uses fear as her weapon.

The second story of this series takes place in the Canterlot Mental Home for the Criminally Insane, one of the Patients, named Fluttershy is one of the most mentally unstable patients after being overdosed with a drug that can make you see your worst fears by her crazy scientist Aunt who was using it in order to rid the world of all fear. The doctors said that there is so much of the drug pumping through her that it has become incurable, and the staff has labeled her as incurably insane. After cronies from Sombra, one of the biggest crime bosses in the city, give the doctors money in exchange for Fluttershy, as they want to find her Aunt's toxin so they can use it to get rid of competition, such as Tirek and Chrysalis, they lock her in a dark room full of flesh-eating flies and moths, as she had nyctophobia and severe insectophobia, but she then allows her phobia to consume her so she can face her fear and defeat it. After doing so and escaping from the room, she puts on more gothic attire and becomes Madame Fright. After one of the henchmen comes back, he notices that Fluttershy is gone, only for her to ambush him from behind and inject him with fear toxin, revealing Fluttershy in a more demonic form. Can Daydreamer defeat this new threat, while also facing her own personal demons?

Prologue: Birth of the Mistress of Fear

Meanwhile, in the dark gloomy halls of the Canterlot Mental Home for the Criminally insane, three black cars appeared at the front door. All of the cars bared the insignia of Crime Boss, King Sombra, one of the biggest crime-lords in town. He had sent his men over to the Canterlot Lunatic Asylum because there was something one the patients had that he wanted. Out of the first car came three men in tuxedos. When they entered the asylum, they gave the secretary a fifty dollar bill in exchange for letting them pass.

"Thank you miss, and keep the change," The leader of the three said to the secretary as they entered into the female psych ward. The interns at the asylum could only look at the three armed men as they passed many patients who were either banging their heads on a wall or babbling insane nonsense.

"Come on Jack, did we really have to come to this awful place, this place really gives me the creeps." Said the guy on the right.

"Just shut up Tom, you know what we're here for. So stop whining and do your fuckin job." Jack shouted at Tom. "Hey Chester, speaking of insane people, who is this person anyway, well not that it matters or anything."

"I heard that this girl was some lab rat for some drug her crazy Aunt was making. Say's it will make your worst fears into reality. Really creepy stuff if you ask me." Chester said to Jack.

"Hey, doormat, are we at her cell yet? We don't have all day to mess around with this crap!" Chester said to one of the guards.

"Yeah, we're here. Do whatever you want with her," The Guard said as he opened the door to the patient's cell. Inside the padded cell, they could see what appeared to be some girl on the ground who was turned away from them. The girl was wearing a white straight jacket because she kinda had a tendency to try to slit her own throat, as they could tell from the slash marks on her neck. The girl also had light-pink hair and had light green eyes.

In her cell, they could see pictures of shadow men, giant insect creatures, and a picture of a dark room with no lights inside, really creeping out Tom and Chester, but it didn't really seem to faze Jack.

"I hide from fear. Always surrounded by fear. All I do is fear my fears. Never fear, always fear." The girl babbled, as she rocked back and forth inside of her cell.

"Hey Doc, please just tell us who this girl is so we can get out of here already," Tom said to Nurse Redheart.

"Ok, her name is Fluttershy, she has been known as one of the most mentally unstable of our patients. Her medical file says that she had been overdosed by her Aunt with a drug that..." Redheart stated before Jack interrupted her. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, we already know that crap. Just tell us about what's causing her to do those things, and what's up with all the pictures of Shadow People?"

"It appears that the overdose of the toxin had overloaded her fear response, and in the process made a somewhat, boogeyman character in her mind. Which, in her case would be a shadow man.

"You know, if we find this toxin that she keeps talking about, we won't have to worry about Tirek or Chrysalis, or nobody ever again. Sombra will be free to do whatever he wants in this town," Jack said to Chester and Tom as he handed Redheart a small bag of money.

"Fluttershy, these three nice men want to see you. I suggest that you go with them without any problems." Redheart said as Jack and Chester went to pick up Fluttershy and take her out of her cell.

"Who are you, people? Where are you taking me?" Fluttershy frightfully squeaked as they were taking her into a big black car.

"Don't worry girlie, there's just someone that we want to give a little scare," Jack said as they put her inside their car and drove away from the asylum.

an hour later.

When they had finally reached Fluttershy's Aunt's old farmhouse, Jack, Tom, and Chester took Fluttershy out of the car and asked her where her aunt might have been hiding the fear drug.

"I th-th-think it's insi-side the basement, that's the place wh-where she showed me the mo-mo-monster," Fluttershy said, all the while shaking and just wanting to get as far away from that place as possible.

They went down to the basement, and after demolishing some of the floorboards, the three men had finally found what they had been looking for, as they found the metal box, which contained the fear drug.

"Ok, I got you my Aunt's medicine, now could you please just let me go! I can't stay here after dark, PLEASE JUST LET ME GO!" Fluttershy said before Chester made her sit down on one of the old rickety chairs.

"Say, it said in your file that you have a big fear of the dark and bugs, wasn't it called Nyctophobia and Insectophobia or somethin like that," Chester said to Fluttershy.

"Yes, y-y-yes I did. Why?" Fluttershy asked Chester.

"Well, we need to put you somewhere so you won't run off while we're away, so, why don't we put you in a nice, dark little room with all the flys you can play with while we're away," Chester said as they started to carry Fluttershy into the darkroom.

"NO NO! PLEASE, DON'T PUT ME IN THERE! PLEASE!" Fluttershy said in absolute distress, just as Jack and Tom threw her into the room and locked the door tight. All the men could hear were the noises of Fluttershy, banging on the door trying her hardest to get out of the room.

"So long, little girl. Enjoy your time in there. Hope nothin scares you in there. Hahahahaha!" Jack laughed, as he and the others drove off with the toxin.

2 hours later

Inside the darkroom, all Fluttershy could hear inside there were the droplets of water and the buzzing of insect wings as flies and moths flew past her.

"SOMEONE LET ME OUT OF HERE," Fluttershy shrieked in horror, as she continued to bang on the door continuously. That was until she heard a faint voice saying in a whispery voice, "Fluttershy."

Fluttershy looked around and saw a shadow man peeking from the only window in the room. This caused Fluttershy to bang on the door even louder this time, as she was determined to get out of the room and away from the shadow-man.

"SOMEONE HELP ME! SOMEONE LET ME OUT OF HERE!" Fluttershy screamed as she started crying from the pure terror that the shadow man was going to take her. "FLUTTERSHY!"

The shadow man screamed at Fluttershy as they were now facing to face with each other, its red glowing eyes looked directly into her soul.

"Fluttershy, make them fear you. In order to fight fear, you must face. your. FEARS." The Shadowman said as it finally enveloped Fluttershy, it was at this moment that her screams of fear were finally halted and replaced with nothing but silence, as the room was now as silent and as ominous as the grave.

3 hours later
Tom had finally gotten back to the farmhouse, as he was told by his boss to force Fluttershy to make more of the drug. When he got inside the house, he saw that the door to the room Fluttershy was in was now completely open.

"Oh shit, how did she get out," Tom thought as he searched the entire farmhouse looking for her. When he reached the kitchen area, he finally found her, but she was now instead of the grey hospital gown she was wearing before, she was now wearing black gothic attire and her hair appeared to be a little messy.

"Shy?" Tom said to her. At first, she didn't say anything for a little while, then after ten minutes, Fluttershy finally spoke.

"Fluttershy isn't here anymore, Thanks to you guys. I should really thank you for putting me in that room. Because of that, I've finally found my new name, my true name." She said as she then sprayed Tom with a spare vial of fear Toxin.

Tom could only watch in terror as Fluttershy body then started to morph and change, her eyes started turning red and becoming more reptilian, she grew claws and talons, and wings sprouted out of her back.

"I am Madame Fright, Mistress of Fear, and you better remember that name well, for I am the boogeyman, and watch as your heart stops cold!!!!" Madame Fright said before Tom let out a scream of absolute terror as the Mistress of Fear finally vanished into the night.
