Your just a no body a little boy afraid of showing his power. Nothing like the great avatars.

You live in a new age. After the fire nations war, over a thousand years ago, the world has been peaceful. The avatar hasn't been reincarnated in almost two centuries. But you don't care. You will never be as important as that. At the end of the day, you're just, an abandoned toy.

Frosts tears

“Earth, water, fire, air, Long ago the four nations lived in turmoil. The fire nations’ greed for power overtook their sense of right and wrong. For one hundred long years the fire nation waged war on the kingdoms of water and earth. In their infinite greed, they lead an entire people to death. The air nomads were no more.

But after one hundred years a young boy named Aang awoke in the southern water tribe. The tribe had no benders as it used to. All the fire nation had left was one. Katara, along with her brother Sokka, lead Aang on his journey to master the elements. Their struggle is why we are able to live the lives we do today. United as one and at peace”

As the teacher finishes her speech of the elements you can’t help but wonder if you’ll ever amount to anything important. All your life you’ve been nothing but a street rat. Your father had abandoned you at a young age and your mother was cast into prison for the crimes she had committed. You lived on the streets for a couple of years until you could afford an apartment.

Your name “Τα νερά τσίμπημα” it’s greek for waters sting. No one knows your real name because you call your self Anon. You are a very skilled water bender but you don’t let anyone know. To your classmates, you’re the boy who can’t bend anything. You reside in a school of only benders so you keep your skills a secret.

If you were to let them know that you were a skilled bender they would challenge you. But you can’t fight at school for no cause. You became a water bending master at the age of fourteen, almost two years ago. In order to become a master, you must make your own skill, and so you did. Your skill is a secret that only your master knows.

It is called ‘Deaths drink’ It is a collection of water that is formed into a scythe. It is secret because as the water hits it’s target it forms into ice. The scythe in water form cuts through human skin with ease. When the water turns to ice it freezes the entire body’s supply of blood, instantly killing them. You have only used it once.

When you were going home you found a girl from school being cornered by a large man with a knife. The girl in question was a lonely little thing called Derpy. Everyone acted like they liked her liked but everyone preferred to be gone when she arrived. She was always alone so it would be easy to corner her and take her away while no one was watching.

The large man struck her neck and she fell to the ground entirely unconscious. The man was about to grab her when you acted. You moved your body as if it were water and envisioned it in your mind. You can still remember the feeling of your water cutting through his skin, and his screams haunt you at night. You hadn’t realized you turned it into ice until the last moment.

You gasped as you tried to melt the ice but the damage was already done. You called the police and gently picked up Derpy’s body and carried it to the location you had given the police. When they arrived you gave Derpy to them before you returned home to think about what you had done.

“Mr. Anon. Are you feeling quite alright you seem very pale” Your teacher asks you, her voice soft and laced with worry. You look into the window and see your face. Your usual tanned skin is very pale and you are sweating. You get out of your seat and walk up front and whisper something into her ear. She looks at you and nods with a kind and understanding smile. You walk out of the classroom and spot a trash can. You run-up to it as you empty what was your lunch into the contents. You can feel tears falling down your face as you walk into the bathroom.

You feel a calming sensation rush over your body as the water hit’s your skin. You quickly splash some on your face before drying off and exiting the bathroom. As you walk down the hall you can’t help but wonder why you feel like you do. You aren’t supposed to feel like this. You’re better than this. As you walk by a student a water fountain you look over and see it freeze.

You’re feet leave marks of frost and ice on the marble floor of the hallway. You cover your ears as the pipes burst from the pressure of the ice. You fall to the floor as you begin to lose control of your ice. You look over and see people are watching. Before anyone can see you quickly put on your mask. You run out of the school, leaving a trail of ice on the floor.

As you walk into the narrow ally way you sigh. You approach a metal door and knock on the large and hard object. As you do a man looks down and sees your mask. This mask has become who you are at night. It is the same one as fire lord Zuko wore as the blue spirit.

The man’s eyes become panicked as he opens the door and lets you inside the warehouse. As you walk in the smell of stadium food and sweat rush into your nose and you smile underneath your mask. This is what you lived for. The thrill of facing a fellow bender in combat.

You walk up to a man leaning against a supporting beam and nod to him. He looks at you and jumps up.

“Blue spirit,” He yells throwing his hands into the air. He walks over to you and shakes your hand but quickly pulls away as he sees the signs of ice begin to form on his hand. He looks at you with sympathy and puts his hand on your shoulder.

“Did you lose control again?” He says looking directly past your mask as if looking at your bare face. You slowly nod. He simply nods his head and pats you on the back and looks back to a man inside of a giant fighting ring. He makes a few symbols with his hand and the man nods.

As you step into the ring all your fans scream for you. The floor below you starts to freeze as you get into your stance. As you stand there you feel vibrations in the floor signaling you that a man who is very well built is walking towards you. You smile as you see a man walk into the ring.

He stands tall at the hight of what you assume is six or seven feet tall. The man has many mussels along with multiple scars littering his body. He carries a flag with a fire nation symbol on its fabric. You nod to him and he steps forward. He looks at you and clears his throat.
“It is an honor to be able to be here before you blue spirit. I would like to say that I hope that even after this battle we can still have mutual respect for each other.” The man says as he bows to you in respect. You sigh and follow his example and bow back to him. As you straighten your body you nod at the referee.

As the referee blows his whistle the man in front of you throws a ball of fire at you. You doge the ball of heat with practiced grace while returning an ice spike to the man’s side. The man swiftly doges the projectile before sending a wave of flames towards you. As you stare into the color of the wall of flames, you feel a burst of energy.

You jump high into the air and bring your fist into the air before swiftly returning towards the ground, bringing with you a wave of water. The water engulfs the fire before turning into ice. You run towards the wall of frost and kick right through it. As you kick through the frozen water you use the shards and throw them at your opponent.

He doges most of your sharp projectiles but is hit in his right arm. He screams as the ice begins to crawl down his arm and towards his chest. As he is distracted you swiftly deliver a roundhouse to the left side of his face. He falls to the ground but manages to shoot another wave of flames towards you.

As the flames reach you, you blow frost onto the flames causing the arena to be engulfed in steam. As the steam leaves the arena, it reviles the wall of flames completely frozen. The man is also covered in ice. Before you can attack further the referee blows his whistle signaling that you have won.

You melt the ice covering the man’s body and offer your hand to him. He smiles and takes your hand and lifts himself up. He bows to you and leaves the arena.

You sigh as you sit down on the small couch inside of your apartment. You count the money you have left. When you got done shopping for groceries you were left with thirty-two pieces of silver. That should be enough for you to pay your bills and rent. You walk to the room that contains your bed.

As you fall onto the hard mattress you look at a picture. It shows a young baby being held by a beautiful woman with black hair. Next to her is a man with brown hair. They both look so happy with their son. You look at their smiles and feel tears start to fall down your face. You grab the picture and grasp it close as you cry yourself to sleep.

I’m sorry
