> Chapter 1: The Reunion

(At Tails Workshop, Tails invited Sonic, Knuckles, and Amy Rose/Rosey to show them his new invention called the “World Warp 94” after he got from Twilight who is becoming the “Princess of Friendship”.)

“Hey Tails, why did you asked us to come here anyway?” Sonic asked.

“Yeah and it better be important.” Knuckles said. “And if not, I’m going back to Angel Island to guard the Master Emerald.”

“Knuckles, can you at least be a little nicer about this.” Amy told Knuckles. and also, Eggman isn’t going take the Master Emerald again.

(Knuckles turns to Amy with a confused look and said)

“Well other things will and as the Guardian of the Master Emerald, I must protect it from danger!” Knuckles angrily replied to Amy.

Sonic then to Knuckles. “Hate to say it but, they Master Emerald hasn’t been in real danger ever since Eggman stolen it.”

“Also he went after those time stones and then forgot about them after that.” Tails also added.

Knuckles was in a tight spot, he knew that Eggman mostly focus on the Chaos Emeralds and Knuckles gave up trying to counter their argument.

“Fine! I guess I can leave the Master Emerald unguarded I suppose.” Knuckles grumbled.

“Anyway, what is it that you want to show us” Amy as Tails what was the machine he built.

“Do you remember when we went to Equestria and we helped Twilight and her friends to defeat those changeling?” Tails asked. And how we defeated that King Sombra guy right?” Tails added.

“Yeah?” Sonic simply replied.

“Well Twilight told me that she and her friends are going doing a celebration and me to visit her as she becomes a princess, but she wanted us to be there to see since we did help them twice before.” Tails stated.

That amazing, saving Equestria and see becomes a princess! Amy said excited to here that Twilight is a princess.

“I’ll agree with Amy, not only did we beat a shadowy pony king and shape shifting creatures, but Twilight’s becoming a princess is just great!” Sonic stated.

“But one problem, how do we get there.” Amy asked Tails. “We were sent there because of Eggman’s trap and again when a portal opened and sucked us up inside remember.”

“Well, I just built a machine called the ‘World Warp 94’ that allows us to got to another world like Equestria or that other world with that red and green plumber. Tails told his friends.

“Um Tails, that second world so really boring if you ask me, but the name is pretty awesome if you ask me.” Sonic said.

“Alright then let’s go right now.” Knuckles said as he put his cowboy hat on from the Sonic OVA.

“So Knuckles, you’re wearing that hat because of Applejack is it.” Amy said with a smug look on his face.

“Yeah Knuckles is it because of Applejack.” Sonic then teased Knuckles.

“N-No just Shut Up you two, I only wear this hat on special occasion like this alright!

“Ok, I’ll get it started.” Tails said as he powered on the World Warp 94.

“Alright let get going!” Sonic said as jumped in first.

“Wait Sonic, you might end up somewhere-!” Tails tried to warn Sonic, but it was too late.

“Wait for me Sonic!” Amy yelled as she followed behind Sonic.

“Not you too Amy!” Tails said, but gave up since it was also too late to stop her.

“We’ll better go follow them Tails.” Knuckles told Tails as they both jumped in the portal.


Meanwhile in Equestria, the ponies where living normally until a portal appeared in the sky as the ponies looked until they saw Sonic and friends falling from the sky into the entrance of the Everfree Forest

Sonic and Amy were screaming as they fell from the portal. Sonic landed head first into the ground, getting his head stuck and Amy landed on Sonic, causing him to groan

“Ugh, why does it felt like that happened before.” Sonic said as he lifted his head of the ground.

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry Sonic!” Amy quickly said embarrassed as she got of Sonic and helped him up from the ground. 

“I tried to warn you Sonic, but you jumped before I could even tell what could happen.”

“Okay, okay, I guess I could have listened before I jumped in.” Sonic said as he dusted off his arm and legs.

“This must Ponyville, right Tails? Knuckles asked Tails as he was adjusting his hat.

“Yep I can see the town from here, and it doesn’t look too far, so let’s get going.” Tails said as the gang made their way to Ponyville.

As they made their way through Ponyville, but when they made it there, they were greeted by welcomes and some hugs and high fives. Not so shortly when they bump into Spike.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to, I wasn’t looking and I-“ Spike apologized before he was interrupted by Amy 

“Don’t worry about it Spike, it was an accident.” Amy told Spike as he was shocked to see them here.”

“Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy! You guys made it here, how?!” Spike asked confused

“With one of Tails’ machines, so I’m guessing that you’re with Twilight I suppose, where is she?” Sonic asked as he looked around for Twilight and the others.

“Right there I see her, hey Twilight!” Tails said as he flew to her direction.

“Hey there Tails!” Twilight said as she ran towards him.

Tails and Twilight hugged each other, which caused their friends to joke about it.

“You too are so adorable, it like you can be a couple!” Rarity gushed as it cause Tails and Twilight to start blushing.

“It's been a while since we last meet.” Sonic said to the Mane 6.

“It sure it huh Sugar-Hog, and ah do love that hat there Knux” Applejack said, which caused Knuckles to start blushing.

“W-Well Th-Thanks AJ.” Knuckles said as turned around to see Sonic and Tails look at him with a smug face.

“Looks like Knux is blushing because of AJ.” Sonic said, but then realized. “Oh I see, you’re wearing that because oh her didn’t you.” 

“SHUT UP SONIC!” Knuckles yelled at Sonic because of his teasing.

“So Amy, what’s that green-orange dress your wearing?” Rarity asked Amy.

@Oh this, this is my old dress I used to wear except I didn’t change my hair. I only wear this on special occasions like these.” Amy replied.

“I say it looks really cute on you Amy...” Fluttershy said to Amy 

“Thanks Fluttershy.” 

“So anyway, I’m going to the castle, waiting for guys.” Sonic said.

“Couldn’t you at least stay with us instead of running off!” Amy angrily yelled at Sonic who stepped back a bit.

“Shouldn’t have teased Knuckles earlier Sonic.” Rainbow Dash said at Sonic as she was laughing which gave her an annoyed look from him.

“It really nice for you to see me as a princess.” Twilight said. “To be honest, I’m actually afraid if I should do this.” 

“Of course you’re afraid, but look at where you are now, you got us on our side.” Pinkie Pie said.

“Thanks Pinkie.” Twilight said


Suddenly, Sonic and Rainbow Dash snatch up Knuckles’ and Applejack’s hat and ran off.

“Catch if you can!” Sonic teased as him and Rainbow Dash left at enormous speeds while Knuckles, Applejack, and Amy chased after them.


“And, they’re gone to castle already, welp let’s follow them so we won’t get left behind.” Tails said as they follow Knuckles, AJ, and Amy to the castle.
> Chapter 2: The Stolen Crown

As the speedster ran, they were neck-to-neck at speed, not using their full speed to hurt anyone around them. 

“I see you gotten a little faster Sonic.” Rainbow Dash said to Sonic. “But I’m faster!”

“We’ll see about that, Rainbow Dash.” Sonic said as he turned his feet into the figure 8 motion and they blasted off even faster, leaving behind a trail.

The two made it to the castle at the same time and were greeted by a guard who had a blue mane and a orange coat and his cutie mark was a blue shield with a lightning bolt in front of it.

“Hello there Rainbow Dash and...Sonic the Hedgehog?! What are you doing here?” The guard ask in confusion see Sonic right in front of him. 

“Me, oh I’m here to see one of my best friends become a princess and me and friends couldn’t miss it.” Sonic told the guard. “So, what’s your name anyway.”

“Oh, right I forgot to tell you. My name is Flash Sentry.” The guard to him.”

“Flash Sentry huh, that’s a pretty cool name.” Sonic said to Flash.

All of a sudden, the 3 of them heard Knuckles and Applejack and saw them running towards Sonic and RD for their hats.

“SONIC, RAINBOW DASH! GIVE US OUR HATS BACK RIGHT NOW!” Knuckles and Applejack said with loud, booming which caused Sonic and Rainbow to his inside the castle.

Before they could hide, they met the 3 Alicorn Princesses, who gave the two a suspicious look.

“Why hello there Sonic and Rainbow Dash, what’s with the new hat? Princess Celestia asked. 

“Oh these, we got them from our friends.” Rainbow Dash said as the two of them gave Princess Celestia a sheepishly smile. But then, the doors busted open and it was Knuckles and Applejack bursting through it.

“So you guys were looking for these...right” Sonic said as he and Rainbow Dash took off the hats and gave it back to Knuckles and AJ, but not before Knuckles hits Sonic on the top of his head and AJ kicking Rainbow Dash. 

“Well that was um, a weird greeting I suppose.” Princess Cadence said with a awkward smile.

Outside the Castle, the other were greeted by Flash Sentry, followed by a trumpet fanfare.

“Her highness, here is Princess Twilight Sparkle.” Flash said.

“Twilight! It’s been so long since I seen you at coronation!” Princess Cadence said to Twilight.

“We can discuss this later, you all look really tired getting here. Everypony should go to bed right now.”

As everypony went back to their respective homes, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Twilight, and Spike went to sleep at the Crystal Empire. The guards were patrolling the hallway, making sure no one is allowed inside.





Meanwhile in Twilight’s room the 6 of them were talking to each about tomorrow and seeing what Sonic and the other missed while they were gone. Tails and Twilight were reading books and talked about interesting things they learned, Knuckles took out the Chaos Emeralds so that Eggman wouldn’t steal them and show and explained them to Spike. Sonic was taking a nap, it wasn’t for long until Amy showed up.

“Amy, what now.” Sonic said in a slightly annoyed tone.

“Sonic, have you noticed something off about Twilight?” Amy ask Sonic in a worried tone.

“Well now that you mentioned it, I guess so?” Sonic said as he got and ask Amy a question. “Hey Amy, do you think you can talk to Twilight, I’ll be taking a little nap.” Sonic went back to sleep, causing Amy’s face to puff up in bitterness.

“Alright then, I’ll talk to Twilight, she looks like she needs someone to talk about to.” As Amy was walking up to Twilight, Sonic went back to resume his little nap. 

“Hey Twilight is everything ok for you, it seems like you aren’t yourself right now. Amy asked in a concerned manner and Twilight responded with a sigh.

“Actually no, I haven’t been myself lately Amy.” Twilight said “You see, Princess Celestia and Luna control the sun and moon, Cadence has the Crystal Empire, and then there’s me. Princess Celestia expects me to lead a entire kingdom on my own and I don’t think I should deserve the crown. 

Amy knows what Twilight is going through, but she always kept a optimistic mood and always keep a positive attitude and always been a good friends to the ones close to her like Sonic.

“Listen to me Twilight, it might be a lot of pressure to being a princess and control a kingdom is going to be tough, but you don’t have to think about the negatives, you have your friends, us, and even Spike, so don’t put too much pressure on yourself and you really do deserve the crown Twilight” Amy said as Twilight realize that she has friends by her side and they support her for many adventures.

“Thanks Amy, no wonder why your good with and Sonic and the other.” Twilight said which caused Amy face to become completely red.

“O-Oh w-well i-it was n-nothing...” Amy shyly said “Now like Princess Celestia said, we all need to sleep for tomorrow ok.”

“Ok then Amy” Twilight responded 

While the guards were roaming in the corridors, a mysterious pony was sneaking through the hallway until it reached the room Twilight was sleeping in. Once it got inside the room, the mysterious pony took out a fake crown that looks identical to the real one. It swap the crowns, but dropped the real one which woken up Twilight who saw the hooded figure. 

“My crown!” Twilight yelled then chased the hooded figure downstairs, but not before waking up her friends.

Once Twilight caught up to the pony, she saw a mirror and the mysterious pony revealed it face and it was a female unicorn with a crimson mane and a brilliant amber skin tone.

“What do you want with her crown!” Knuckles said in a demanding tone.

“Sorry it has to be this way Princess, but I gotta go, see ya.” the mysterious pony said before she left,

“Who was that?” Twilight asked herself 

“Sunset Shimmer. A former student of mine. She began her studies with me not long before Twilight. But when she did not get what she wanted as quickly as she liked, she turned cruel and dishonest. I tried to help her, but she eventually decided to abandon her studies and pursue her own path. One that has sadly led to her stealing your crown.” Princess Celestia explained.

“But why would she steal the crown anyway?” Tails asked.

“Mostly likely to use it powers for evil.” Princess Luna said. 

“Just like the Chaos Emeralds!” Sonic said as he pulled a green emerald and showed it to everyone/everypony.

“What do you mean Sonic, how is Twilight’s crown similar to a Chaos Emeralds?” Princess Cadence asked. 

“Well, I heard about it once before but, in the past, my kind used the Chaos Emeralds’ power for evil like power, greed, and even corruption. That why I’m the only one in my tribe and that all I know.” Knuckles explained.

“Thanks for the explanation, but where did she go, and all that left is a mirror?” Twilight said. 

“That isn’t a ordinary mirror, it’s a mirror that leads to a new dimension I haven’t seen before that came from the the Crystal Empire after the Canterlot Wedding.” Princess Celestia said.

“Twilight, you need to get the crown back from Sunset before anything else gets worse.” Princess Cadence asked.

“Ok then, but Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, I’m going to need your help, I don’t think Sunse-“ Twilight was interrupted by Sonic, who jumped in first, after waiting for a new adventure, then Tails, Twilight, Knuckles, and Amy follow behind him. Spike grew worried and followed them as the Mane 5 tried to stop him, it was too late. As they were inside the mirror, they went through a gateway to the dimension, Sunset escaped to.
> Chapter 3: A Strange New World

After the 6 heroes went through the mirror, Spike was the first to wake up an saw himself in the mirror as a dog, which caused to immediately panic and didn’t notice that some people saw him acting crazy.

“H-How did this happen?!” Spike asked himself as he now looked a dog now. “Why are ears look so different? My mouth is also different too, and what the heck is this thing in my neck!” Spike asked many of these to himself before he heard Twilight moaning and when he looked behind him, he saw Twilight in a new body and silently freaked out by it.

“Is that really Twilight? What the heck is she supposed to be, and why do Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy looked the same, but different?” Spike asked himself as he near his unconscious friend

"Spike, you aren't suppose to-Spike?" Twilight said, then she look towards Sonic and the other and turn to Spike. "Are you a dog?" 

"Dog?" Spike questioned as looked at his body and he was a dog and answered her question. "I think so, but I have no idea what you are?" Spike said as he told Twilight who looked at her hooves, or so she thought.

She then screamed loud enough make Sonic and the other wake up and regain consciousness before she covered her mouth.

"Twilight are you okay, you sound like something bad happen to you? Tails asked Twilight as he was surprised to see Twilight in a weird form. "I-Is th-that y-you T-Twilight? 

Soon the other were confused to see Twilight's new appearance, as well as Spikes who looked like a dog. Twilight was still freaking out that she had hands, shoes, and even fingers until Spike told her to keep it cool. Twilight kept her cool and turned to Sonic and said in a jealous tone.

"At least you guys look normal."

Yes, they did kept their Mobian appearance, but they had longer limbs and had colored eyes which caused Sonic to become center of attention.

"S-Sonic your eyes?!" Amy said which made him confused.

Sonic was confused at what she just said. "What's wrong with my eyes Amy?" "AND WHY ARE OUR ARMS AND LEGS LONGER?!" Sonic said in a panicked tone, but quickly calmed.

"Spike, what does the rest of me look like?" Twilight as Spike who examined her body.

"Well you're you, only not you, and I think your mussel gotten smaller? Spike said

"MY MUSSEL?! Twilight said as she touched her nose and almost freaked out and screamed, but Knuckles cover her mouth.

"Are you going to scream again?" Knuckles asked and Twilight shook her head as Knuckles moved his hand away from her mouth.

They look around and found themselves in front of a horse statue, distance away from it was a golden horseshoe on a block surrounded by bushes, and what appears to be people walking on grey blocks going in 4 directions.

"Where are we" Spike asked

"I don't know, that must have served as a gateway through Equestria." Twilight said as she put her hand on the through the glass which showed her hoof, much to her surprise.

"Well we aren't just gonna stand here and do nothing, lets go find your crown and return it back to Equestria!" Sonic said with a determined as he zipped off into a blue streak and came back. "Hey I didn't lose my powers!"

When he found out, he began circling around the building at high speeds, Tails flew high in the sky, Knuckles lifted up the golden horseshoe with ease and Amy was able to catch up with Sonic's speed. They came back to where Twilight was.

"Ok then, since you guys didn't change and didn't lose you powers, I say we should the castle for clues." Twilight said

"Works for me." Spike said as Sonic, Knuckles, Amy walked while Tails was flying, Twilight was galloping while Spike was on her back and it didn't take long for a guy and his dog giving her strange looks.

"Maybe you should walk like us for now on Twilight..." Amy said with a sheepish smile as she help Twilight get in like Sonic and his friends. The dog looks at its owner and got excited, but the owner pointed straight, which caused the dog to get upset while the owner didn't care as they walked on.

When Twilight was trying to stand up, she had trouble standing and walking weird as her body was rocking back and forth.

"Come on guys, I do not want to stay like this for long than I have to." Twilight say as she was still having trouble walking up stair.

"Well look on the bright side, at least you don't have those pesky wings to worry about anymore." Spike said as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy looked at him, dumbfounded while Twilight gave Spike a irritated look as Spike gave her a sheepish smile.

Twilight got to the doors and she walked in front it, thinking that she could use her magic to open it. She was trying hard to open it, but realized that her magic isn't working.

"Most likely because you don't have your horn on your head, Twilight." Sonic said as Twilight was freaking out a little, pulling her hair as Sonic opened the door for the others. 

"Ladies first." Sonic said

"I never realized you were a really kind gentlemen." Amy said as she winked at Sonic, who he rolled his eyes. 

When they walked inside, they saw poster blue with two horses on each side, a golden horseshoes in the middle and two lighting bolts. Below them were things that were encased by glass.

"I think we're in some kind of school?" Tails said.

"How do you know this is a school Tails, have you ever been to one? Spike asked.

"No because I was home-school since people bullied me and the reason I know it's a school is because there are locker and flags. Tails said as he pointed towards the flags, banners, and lockers. Twilight looked around to see objects behind glass.

"So guys, what do you think these are artifacts Sunset stolen from Equestria? Twilight said, as she was looking through the glass, she saw her own reflection. "What am I?" she said as she was looking at herself from different poses. Sonic was thinking and asked.

"What would Eggman look like if he was here?" they all thought what Eggman would look like and it wasn't anything to make fun of or laugh at.

"If I would have to guess...a nightmare..." Knuckles replied

Suddenly, they heard a ringing bell and then people and animals like Sonic were walking out of the door and talking to each other, surrounding the 6 of them, but lucky for Tails, he could fly while Sonic and the other couldn't. Eventually they made it out of the crowd as Twilight hit a boy's leg as he was reaching for his locker. He had on blue jeans, a jacket, light skin, and blue hair.

"Whoa, are you guys ok?" the teenage boy asked as he helped Twilight and the other get up from the floor

"Yeah, I guess so." Sonic replied

Sonic was in his mind and thought to himself, ("He looks familiar, but I don't quiet understand why?") but before he couldn't ask, the boy left into the direction where the crowd was.

"Tails' right, this isn't a castle." Spike said.

As Twilight and the other were walking down the hallway, Twilight was nervously looked side-to-side, then turned to Spike, but then lost her balance and fall down on the floor.

Getting on my feet

Twilight got back up and show her friends a determined look as was ready to try again. As the 6 heroes peaked behind a corner, Twilight was stunned at how many people where doing to many tricks without magic.

They don't use any magic or fly with any wings
I don't get these funny clothes, skinny legs or tiny nose
Everything's confusing when it seems so new
But I look a little closer and it starts to feel familiar too

As Twilight and the others were walking, they almost ran into a young student riding a scooter and went past them as they saw two other girls following her. When they left, the 6 heroes looked at each other with a raised eyebrow

When Twilight went to a restroom, she looked at herself in the, only for a teenage boy walked out of a stall and saw Twilight as he closed the door back before she could explain. She ran out of the bathroom and ran past Sonic and the other and realized that she went to the men's restroom and followed her.

What a strange new world

Twilight and the other were walking down the hallway until they heard a quiet, shy voice and another voice that was an innocent, soft voice nearby. The 6 then peaked behind a corner is listen to their conversation

"We're so sorry miss, we found it and we thought it would be right and take it to her." the soft voice said, followed by a word saying "chao." "chao."

"We didn't known you would drop it." the quiet voice said.

"Well I did and I was about get it until you three came in and ruined everything!” The teenage girl said with crimson hair, black, long sleeve jacket, and a short, orange dress. "You shouldn't pick up things that don't belong to you!”

"Chao!" Chao!" the floating creature said.

"Cheese said it didn't belong to you anyway." the soft voice said

"Excuse Me?!" the crimson haired girl said, making the two girls slide down to the floor whilst the shy one covered the floating creature.

"N-n-nothing..." the quiet voice said in a even quieter tone.

"That's what I thought." the crimson haired girl said as this made the 6 heroes really upset as Spike growled. "It's as good as mine, and you know it." "You two really are pathetic" "No wonder why your friends with each other, because you can’t do anything except cower.

This caused Amy to move from behind the corner and finally say, "How dare talk to them like that!" which cause the girl to turned around.

"What did you just say to me?!" the crimson haired girl said which caused the other students to be sliding on the lockers.

"You heard here, no one talks to them like that at all!" Sonic said to her as him, Amy, and Twilight walked up to the the crimson haired girls and went eye to eye. As they did, the crimson haired girl just smiled.

"It looks you three are new, I can speak to anyone, anyway I want." 

"Well I believe that's going to change." Knuckles said as he and Tails moving out of the corner and she was slightly taken back, but responded.

"Don't think this will be the end." she said before she left off.

"Wow, I can't believe that you just did that?" the shy girl said

"We couldn't just stand there and let her bully you three like that." Amy said.

"The thing is, no one ever stand up against Sunset Shimmer." the bunny said.

"Sunset Shimmer?!" Twilight said as she looked at crimson haired girl before she left.

"You guys know Sunset?" the shy girl said

"Kinda." Sonic said as he shrugged his arms.

"We haven't seen you guys before, have you transferred from another school to Canterlot? the bunny said. 

"Yeah, we did, my name Tails and this is Sonic, Knuckles, Amy, and Twilight." Tails said."So um, what's your names anyway?" Tails asked

"Fluttershy." the shy girl said in a hard to hear voice.

"What was it again?" Knuckles said

"Fluttershy." the shy girl said in a voice they can almost hear.

"Sounds like you're saying Fluttershy am I right." Twilight asked as the girl nodded.

"My name's Cream the Rabbit and this my friend Cheese, he’s a creature called Chao." the soft girl said

"Cheese sounds like a cute name for a chao there Cream." Amy said as she rubbed Cheese head., which caused Cream to let out a big smile on her face.

Fluttershy looked back at Twilight with her hair covering one of her eyes until she saw Spike and ran toward him.

"Oh my goodness, who this sweet little guy!" Fluttershy said as she asked Twilight.

"That's Spike, he's uh...my dog." Twilight said

"Oh he so cute, go on little pup, try it." Fluttershy suggested it to Spike as he took a small bite, then ate the whole. "Don't you jest want to know what they're really thinking."

"He usually just tells me." Twilight said, nonchalantly.

"What do you mean? Fluttershy asked as Spike told her to keep it subtle, but when Fluttershy turns around, he started barking.

"Oh uh...nevermind" Twilight said, but asked Fluttershy and Cream a question. "Sunset Shimmer said you three picked something up, something that belongs to her, it wasn't a crown, was it.

"Chao, Chao" Cheese said

"Cheese said how did you know?" Cream asked

"Uh, lucky guess." Twilight said. "So do you three still have with you."

Fluttershy responded by shaking her head.

"But you know happened to it, am I right" Sonic said as Fluttershy nodded her head.

"This morning Fluttershy were passing passing out flyers for the animal shelter that she give out every Wednesday." Cream said as she flashback what happened in the morning.

"Canterlot Animal Shelter needs more volunteers, won't you help a animal that can't" Fluttershy said, but no one listened to her, which made her sad, but one girl listen to her and it was Cream and Cheese and it how they first met as Cream saw her, head in her knees as she was crying.

Cream and Cheese looked at each other with a sad expression and wanted to make sure she was okay, then finally asked her. “Are you okay miss, you seem to have dropped your flyers and maybe I could help, my name is Cream the Rabbit and this my best friend Cheese..” Cream ask as she helped up Fluttershy.

Fluttershy looked at the rabbit and her Chao and worked the courage to speak. “My name is Fluttershy...” she said as they saw a crown hitting Cheese.

“Are you okay, Cheese?! Cream said, making sure that no serious injury happened. They also saw a crown with pink sparkle up front.

Fluttershy then finish the by saying that they have given it Principle Celestia which made Twilight ask her a question, “Is she like a ruler or something.” 

“I think so, both she and her sister, Vice Principal Luna do make the rules.” Cream said. 

Twilight had a smile on her face as they split off, but shortly after, they came to Fluttershy and Cream.

But before the 6 heroes Fluttershy told Twilight one of the rules. “You really aren’t suppose to bring animals here, only Chao are allowed and the only student to have one is Cream, so try to keep your puppy in your backpack like mine.” As she turned around, she had a bunny, a bird, and cat leaving her backpack. “They get so lonely when I’m at school all day.”

“Oh well, thank you.” Twilight said, but they heard the school bell ring, causing Fluttershy and Cream running into a different direction.
> Chapter 4: More Familiar Faces

As Twilight and her friends were walking down the hallway to Principal Celestia office. Sonic asked Tails, Knuckles, and Amy do they have a chaos emerald with as each of them pulled out 2 Chaos Emeralds as Sonic had one Chaos Emerald. The Emeralds filled Twilight and Spike with awe from first seeing these gems right in-front of their eyes.

“Oh my goodness...” Twilight stops to look as her eyes sparkled from one of the emeralds pulsating glow, but the look of the emerald caused her to not notice Spike sneak out of her bag to get a closer look.

Twilight reaction grabbed the attention of Sonic and friends. “Um...are you alright Twi?” Sonic asked, but Twilight didn’t answer as she continued to look at the emerald in their hands. 

Amy snapped her fingers close to Twilight’s face, which worked to get her back to reality. 

“You were like you where in some kind of weird pocket dimension for a tiny bit Twilight.” Tails told Twilight, then asked what was going on with her.

“It’s those gems you four have on your ‘hands’, just what in the world are those things.” Twilight shortly explained as she almost got mesmerized by the emeralds again before she got herself back to her senses.

“Well no one really knows where they came from or what they can truly do and from what I’ve studied, they can be used for either for the goodness for everyone or for corrupt power and Knuckles knows a little more about these things than I do.” Tails explain to Twilight as Knuckles was about to speak.

Knuckles added to Tails’ explanation by saying, “The Chaos Emeralds were created by the Echidna Tribe, my ancestors and from I can learn is that they used the emeralds too, but I don’t know more about it.” The red echidna told the backstory of the emeralds and started to tell Twilight even more things about them. “The Chaos Emeralds, like Tails said, were used for both good or evil. We used them for good, but others use them for malicious intent like Dr. Robotnik and he always wants his hands on them. One emerald is good by themselves, but with all seven Chaos Emeralds, they’re at their best and Sonic can use all 7 of them to transform in Super Sonic and I can also use them to become Super Knuckles. Tails and Amy can’t transform for some reason?” Knuckles explained before Amy interrupted him.

“What are you talking?! I can transform!” Amy raised her voice at Knuckles.

“Well okay, then try.” Knuckles provoked the pink hedgehog as she grabbed the seven emeralds and began to transform as the floated up to her waist, but Spike snatched one of the emeralds and gave it one big look at he was about to eat it, but Sonic took it away from just being something bad happened.

“Woah there lil’ buddy, these things aren’t a snack you know. We’re gonna need these things since they helped us before.” Sonic told Spike as he gave him a pat on the head.

“Sorry, but they look super tasty and probably taste good too!” Spike defended himself to justify his action.

“Spike you aren’t a dragon remember.” Twilight told her assistant as he looked embarrassed and jumped back into Twilight’s bag.

“Should’ve realized.” Spike chuckled as Twilight rubbed his head and zipped up the backpack, but left a tiny opening for Spike to get himself out and get some air.

As they were leaving to the principal’s office, Sunset Shimmer was watching for the background gave them a sinister smile as they walked off and so did the crimson hair bully too as she headed in a different directions, but not before saying to herself, “Those pretty gems won’t be their for much longer.”





At the door, Twilight started to knock on the door, then they a voice saying “Come in.” Amy opened the door as Sonic, Twilight and the others walked inside to see a woman looking at a folder.

Tails spoke up and asked, “Are you the principal of this school?”

“Why yes I’m.” the woman said without looking up, but she looked at them and was surprised. “I haven’t seen the five of you before, have you transferred here from another school?”

Twilight and the other looked at her as she looked like Princess Celestia. Amy told her that they did transfer from another school.

“So tell me, what are your names?” Principal Celestia asked as Twilight and the others introduced themselves. “I’m great to have more students as CHS, especially Mobians.”

This made Twilight and the others confused from her that statement.

“What do you mean more ‘Mobians’?” Sonic asked.

Principal Celestia simply responded by saying, “We don’t have many Mobians at our school because most of them are at different school.”

This made Twilight more curious and asked, “What are these other schools I may ask?”

“There is one school called Crystal Prep, it’s our rivalry school,” Principal Celestia answered. 

“We came here to ask, have someone gave you a crown that has a purple sparkle on top?” Amy asked

“Why I do, but my sister: Vice Principal Luna  and I had hidden it to make sure that no one can steal it.” Principal Celestia said which made Twilight look disappointed, but she quickly asked her another question.

“So is there anyway I can get that crown.”

“Yes there is,” Principal Celestia said then made a follow up statement. If you want that crown, you can participate and become Princess of Formal Fall.” 

Twilight tried to tell her, but end her sentence by asking about being a Princess of the Formal Fall.

“Is it like some kind of a big event?” Knuckles asked as Principal Celestia nodded her head.

“True, in order to become Princess, you must have everyone convinced to vote for you and it’s not going to be easy.” she said as she got up from her seat and went up to the calendar while Twilight and the other say 3 photos of Sunset Shimmer as Princess of Formal Fall as the pictures showed how Sunset become what she is now, a heartless bully that makes every student near her not to get on her bad side.

“Hey Principal Celestia, can Twilight run for Princess of the Formal Fall?” Sonic asked, which made Twilight more nervous.

“Yes she can, I’ll just have the let the head of the Formal Fall know,” Principal Celestia said. “Is there anything else you want to ask?”

“No ma’am, that’s all we need.” Tails said as they left the office.

As they left the room, Spike popped out and asked the 5 heroes why they didn’t tell the truth.

“It’s because we might sound like we aren’t nice people and if that was so, we might not leave a first good impression.” Tails stated.

“Tails is right Spike and also, if we told her that one of them showed up from a world filled with magical talking ponies.” Twilight told Spike.

“That is true.” Spike admitted 

“If I’m going to become Princess of Canterlot School High Formal Fall, I got whatever it takes!” Twilight said in a determined tone.

“And how are you going to plan on doing  that?” Spike asked.

“I have no idea.” Twilight said which caused her friends to facepalm themselves.





Shortly after, the 6 of them heard the school bell ring and they when through the double doors which lead to the cafeteria. They looked around and saw Fluttershy and Cream and Cheese getting their food as Twilight and the others walked towards them as Tails was flying with them.

“Woah Tails, you can fly, how is that possible?” Cream asked as Fluttershy was surprised to see him fly.

“Well you see, I have two tails as you can.” Tails said as Cream And Fluttershy look at his tails, twirling like a helicopter. I was born with them and people made fun of me because of it.”

“Oh no, that’s a horrible thing for someone to do.” Fluttershy said in a concerned tone.

“Don’t you mean everypo-!” Twilight was interrupted by Spike, who hit her because they’re humans, not ponies.

“I’m sorry, what was that you just said?” Fluttershy asked as her and Cream looked confused.

“She meant to say everyone, but she sometimes mixed up her word without even knowing...” Amy said with a sheepish laugh.

“We also want to tell you that Twilight is participating in becoming Princess of the Formal Fall.” Knuckles said, which caused Cream to accidentally spill her drink on Sonic. 

“I’m so sorry Mr. Sonic, I didn’t mean to do that because...well...” Cream said in a apologetic tone as Cheese grabbed some  napkins and wipe off the juice on Sonic. “...no one ever voted against Sunset Shimmer.”

As the group was walking to the table, Amy and Twilight noticed that many people were eating in different groups.

“Hey Fluttershy, why aren’t people sitting next to each other?” Amy asked

“Everyone stick to their own kind like the athletes, fashionistas, techies, eco-kids, drama kids, and the rockers.” Fluttershy explained to them. “One thing they have in common, is that Sunset will rule this school until graduation.”

“Well I believe that this whole ‘Sunset ruling the school’ is going to end!” Sonic said as Fluttershy, Cream, and Cheese look confused with Cheese showing a question mark above his head.

“Sonic, I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Fluttershy told him.

“When Sunset Shimmer wants something, she gets it and there’s nothing we can do.” Cream also said. “ One time, a girl voted against Sunset and it didn’t turn out great.”

“Well we have to try, so where can we find the head of the Formal Fall?” Twilight asked the two.

“Chao, chao, chao.” Cheese said

“Cheese said from here, take a left and, go right and you’ll find the gym.” Cream said as the 5 of them left the cafeteria after they said their thank you to Fluttershy, Cream, and Cheese.

“You guys can go see the head of the Formal Fall while I check out this school even more.” Sonic said as he walked off while Amy followed him.

“Welp they’re gone.” Knuckles said as he shook his head. “Tails. Twilight. Let’s go see where you can participate.”





In the hallway, Knuckles, Tails, and Twilight made it to a double door. As they opened the doors that led to the gym, Knuckles, Tails, and Twilight heard a buzzing noise in the gym.

“Incoming!” the voice said before he crashed into Knuckles, Tails, and Twilight. And they go up to see a balloon right in front of them.

“Woah, is it me or does the guys look familiar?” the hyperactive voice said.

“Hm, maybe.” the cheery voice said to the bee.

When they got back up, they saw a flying bee who was wearing a helmet that had the same colors of a bee, a bee emblem, and even antennas that looked like a bee. They looked at the girl who had curly pink hair, a short sleeve shirt, pink skin, and pink dress that had balloons on the side.

“Hey guys my name is Twilight Sparkle and...Pinkie Pie?” Twilight said, confused.

“You know my name, (sharp gasp) are you psychic ?!” Pinkie Pie asked in a excited look on her face.

Twilight let out a smile and said, “Not exactly, but can you do something like that?” 

Unfortunately, Pinkie isn’t psychic and let out a sigh.

“My name is Charmy the Bee, so what are you guys here for?” the bee said.

“We’re hear because Fluttershy said this is where the head of the Formal Fall was.” Tails told them.

“Don’t let the whole ‘shy’ thing get to ya, she’s a big meanie once you really know her.” Pinkie Pie said as this left the Knuckles, Tails, and Twilight dumbfounded to hear this.

“What do you mean you guys aren’t friends?!” Knuckles asked.

“Pinkie told me that it happened a long time ago, long-story short, Fluttershy might did something to Pinkie.” Charmy said.

“CHARMY, WHAT DID YOU DO!” A loud voice said.

“Hey I’m sorry Vector, you know how this is going to be the best Formal Fall ever, right.” Charmy told the voice as the name ‘Vector’ made Knuckles more curious. 

They saw a big green crocodile with headphones, and gold chain around his neck, orange spike that goes from the back of his head to his tail, white gloves with a black wrist strap with a gold buckle, and black shoes. Right next him was Espio the Chameleon, a purple chameleon with a yellow horn between his gold eyes and a ridge of three black scales down his spine and a coiled tail. He wears dark purple and black shoes with elaborate cuffs, white gloves with a purple back, and studded bands around his wrists and ankles.

“Charmy, you know that the Formal Fall is going to be the same right?” Espio said. “Every Formal Fall, Sunset has been Princess and there’s no doubt about it.”

“Well that changing because there’s a new person going against her now!” Charmy said which made Vector and Espio look at each other confused.

“What are you talking about Charmy?” Vector asked as Charmy pointed at Twilight.

“You’re saying that this girl is challenging Sunset, that’s takes a lot of encouragement to do so.” Espio stated.

“Well I’m not afraid of Sunset and I’m not going to let people have their school year ruined!” Twilight said with determination.

“That is really nice for someone to stand against her.” Vector said. “It’s nice to meet you, my name Vector the Crocodile and this is Espio and Charmy and we’re ‘The Chaotix!’, a detective club, but we’re short because of a certain red Armadillo.” Hearing the name

“Hi guys, my name is Twilight Sparkle and this is Knuckles and Tails.” Twilight said as they greeted each other.

“Anyhoo, just sign your name right here.” Pinkie said as she pointed to her where to sign. Twilight picked up the pen with her mouth and she thought she signed it, only to show scribble over it.

“Wow, you have terrible handwriting you know.” Pinkie said nonchalantly, the the gym doors opened and say a cowgirl and her brother right beside her and next to him was a armadillo wearing fingerless gloves, brown shoes with black shoelaces, and belt looking wrist strap.

“Did anyone order fizzy apple cider?” the cowgirl said.

“We did!” both Charmy and Pinkie Pie said.

“Alright-y then, hey Big Mac, Mighty, can ya move the rest of them.” the cowgirl said.

“Eeyup” Big Mac said.

“Yes ma’am” Mighty said as him and Big Mac to the boxes to the table.

“Hey there AJ!” Knuckles said as he waved his hand to her, then she walked up to the Knuckles and the others.

“How did ya know ma’ name?” Applejack asked, but dropped the question she was going to ask him. “Hey I know you three!”

This made Knuckles, Tails, and Twilight worried as Knuckles asked, “You do?!” He asked her.

“Yeah, you three and your two other friends confronted Sunset like it was nothing!” Mighty said as he and Applejack used fake voice of how they confronted Sunset Shimmer.

“Maybe we might have a chance to go against Sunset because Twilight is going against her.” Espio said.

“You better watch out for her, she might act nice to you before she stabs you right in the back.” Mighty told Twilight.

“She one of the student not to be trusted like, for example: Rainbow Dash.” Applejack said.

“Rainbow Dash, you mean the girl that has rainbow hair?” Tails asked.

“Yeah and she also the captain of every single sports team.” Pinkie Pie said.

“And also bein’ the captain of sayin’ she and her sports are goin’ to show up, and then makin’ a fool out of ya’!” Applejack stated.

“Well thanks for the advice there Applejack, see you guys around.” Twilight said as she left the gym. 

“Hey Knuckles, is it, have we met before?” Mighty asked as Espio, Charmy, and Vector asked him as well. 

“I guess so?” Knuckles said, then suddenly Sunset Shimmer came in with two boys alongside.

“Why are these streamers on the floor, they should be on the ceiling and also less balloons!” Sunset said as she yelled at Charmy and popped a ballon in front of Pinkie as Snip and Snails tried, but failed embarrassingly. Charmy accidentally popped a balloon in Sunset’s face, messing up her hair as she quickly fixed it up and yelled at the bee again, causing him regret what he did.

“What are you yelling at him for, it was an accident, not on purpose lady!” Vector angrily said to her as Sunset ignored him.

“Ugh, fizzy apple cider, no one wants this at my coronation, and it not going to look a dumb reunion!” Sunset yelled as she threw a bottle away, causing it to break.

“Would you at least try not be this rude, we worked hard making those.” Mighty said to her.

“And you country folk aren’t the smartest anyway.” Sunset taunted as she covered Applejack eyes with her own hat, making her face turn red in anger and Mighty eyes were in flames. “Well since this is my coronation, no one will oppose will and I’ll win again.”

Before she left, she heard Tails voice saying, “No you won’t because Twilight is going to beat you for sure!” she turned around and snatched the clipboard and saw Twilight’s handwriting and mad that she didn’t noticed sooner.

“Are you kidding?” Sunset said

“I know, she has some sloppy writing skills.” Charmy said.

“Me too!” Pinkie said to Charmy.

Sunset got friendly to the others and said, “I love to see some friendly competition.” she said with a fake smile.

Meanwhile, Twilight was walking down the hallway and saw a section where the lights were flickering and behind her was Sunset.

“So it was you huh, should’ve known that Princess Celestia would send her star pupil and her animal friends.” Sunset mockingly said to Twilight and Spike.

“One: it’s my crown and Two: you do not talk about my friends, even Tails!” Twilight said, aggressively.

“Why, do you have a crush on him or something?” Sunset asked, with made Twilight blush a little.

“No, he just someone I can feel that we can be best friends with along with Sonic, Knuckles, Amy, and my pony friends!” Twilight said to her.

Well whatever, it just a minor setback, that’s all, but one more thing.” Sunset said and told Twilight, “Do you know what happens when you bring a Element of Harmony to a different?”

Twilight was silent and couldn’t think of a answer.

“You don’t know, Seriously, why are you even Celestia’s star pupil if you don’t even know.” Sunset said, followed up by her laughing. “Thinking about, what are the chances of her finding a student to put under her wings that is smart as me.”Spike growled at her, but she mocked him then said, “And keep a eye on that mutt, and word of advice, you wouldn’t want him taken away from you.”

“Is that a threat or something?!” Spike said 

“Of course not.” Sunset simply answered as Spike barked at her. “Well I were you, my best option is to drop out if you’re saying you can be a Princess, you don’t know a single thing about this place!”

“It’s not going to stop me, I’ll just learn eventually, I’ll become the Princess.” Twilight say before Sunset walked off.

Sunset walked to the gym when suddenly, Snips and Snails were tied up with streamer and a balloon saying, “Here's a gift for you, try finding better lackey. - Signed by Knuckles, Tails, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Espio, Charmy, Vector, and Mighty. P.S., we’re on Team Twilight.” 

“Those guys aren’t messing around.” Snips said.

“Yeah, especially that red guy.” Snails said.

“Which one?” Snips said.

“The one with the cowboy hat.” Snails told Snips.

Sunset grabbed and yanked the steamers off of Snips and Snails as they spin around and crash into each other.

“Snips, I want you to keep an eye and follow Twilight.” Sunset said.

“Yes ma’am!” Snips said as he followed Twilight.

“Snails, I need you to follow two hedgehogs, one is blue and has sneakers and white gloves and the pink one with a red dress and gold rings on her wrist.” Sunset told Snails.

“You got it boss!” Snails said as he ran off to follow Sonic and Amy.





As Sonic and Amy checked the rest of the school, they heard a boy crying for help as Sonic grabbed Amy hand and dashed off to find him. Once they got there, they saw Metal Sonic, who was about to hurt a yellow squirrel who had blue goggles, a blue scarf, blue shoes, a long tail, and hair sticking up top.

“Sonic, we got to saw him from Metal Sonic!” Amy said to Sonic.

“Right!” Sonic said as he ran in front of Metal and joked to him, “Hey Metal me, try finding someone that looks like you, oh wait, it’s me!”

Sonic and Metal Sonic stated to throw punches at each other as Amy helped the squirrel up and moved him away from the fight.

“You should go, it’s too dangerous for you.” Amy told him as she pulled her hammer out of nowhere.

“Please, let me help, I tried to fight him but he’s too fast, so the three of us must worked together to beat him!” the squirrel said as Amy saw the determination in his eyes.

“Well okay, if you say so.” Amy replied as they helped Sonic defeat his metal counterpart.

Amy swinged her hammer at Metal, but he dodged all of her attacks at the last minute, making her angry while the squirrel began flying above Metal to distract him, which gave Sonic a opportunity to hit him with his lightspeed dash. As Sonic was charging his spindash, light spheres began swarming him, after four seconds, his whole body was encased in a light blue aura. When he used it, Metal Sonic took notice and dodged it and used a counterattack by kick him to the lockers.

“Shoot, you’re tough, but this isn’t over yet Metal.” Sonic said to Metal Sonic.

Sonic, Amy, and the squirrel stand next to each other and discussed a plan to take out Metal Sonic. After they’re were done talking, Sonic and the squirrel jumped in the air, turning in a ball as Amy knocked the two at high speeds at Metal Sonic, who couldn’t react in time to dodge their attack. After a few hits on Metal Sonic, the squirrel axe kicked him into a trash can.

“Woah kid, that was some pretty cool stuff right there if you ask me.” Sonic complimented to the squirrel.

“Hey I helped too you know!” Amy shouted at Sonic as all he could give to her was a sheepish laugh.

“Thanks, so I haven’t introduced myself, my name is Ray, Ray the Flying Squirrel!” the squirrel told the two hedgehogs with a smile.

“That’s a nice you got there Ray.” Amy told Ray.

“Thank you two for helping me stopping that Metal Sonic robot.” Ray said

“No problem.” Sonic simply said as they walked away, not knowing that Snails recorded the whole fight. 

Later, robot noises began coming out of Metal Sonic until he got back to his sense and said, “Destroy. Sonic The Hedgehog. Primary Objective!
> Chapter 5: A Video About Me?!

When Twilight went to the vending machine, she didn’t know what to do and pulled it to see if it worked, but nothing happened. Twilight thought and decided that she would kick the glass the glass as she got down on all four and was going to kick the glass until a girl showed before Twilight was about to kick.

“Excuse me.” the girl said to Twilight “The great and powerful Trixie...wants some peanut butter crackers.” 

The girl, who name was Trixie pulled a coin out of her pocket and put it in a coin slot and pushed a combined of one letter and one number. 

Trixie left as Twilight looked down on herself and talked to Spike.

“Sunset Shimmer is right, I don't know the first thing about this place and if I got to have everyone vote for me, I’ll have to do some research.” Twilight said to Spike, who looked confused.

“Research?” Spike said.

“This is a school right, so there has to be a library somewhere?” Twilight said.

As Twilight was walking down the hallway, Tails and Knuckles caught up with Twilight, followed by Sonic and Amy as they in the entrance of the Library. As they walked inside they found a ton of books on the first floor and the second floor, and saw some computer on a table, in the middle of the library.

As Twilight walked up to one, she asked Sonic and the other what it is.

“It’s a computer, Eggman has a ton of them he use for his creations.” Amy explained to Twilight.

“Okay so it’s a computer right so how does this work?” Twilight said to herself as she had trouble using a computer until a librarian named Miss Cheerilee looked at her annoyed, but changed her as she walked up to her.

“Having trouble there dear?” she asked.

“Yes ma’am, I just don’t know how to make this thing work!” Twilight answered as she was having trouble using the computer, then Miss Cheerilee pressed the enter key and it started working, which made Twilight surprised. “So there is magic in this world after all!” 

Hearing that statement made Miss Cheerilee rolled her eyes as Sonic and the others playfully rolled their eyes as well, but they didn’t suspect Snips recording the whole thing as he snickered and moved away from the group, hidden away.

Suddenly, they heard loud music coming across them as Miss Cheerilee came back and made a irritated look. The music was from the Cutie Mark Crusaders as they listened to it at max volume. Miss Cheerilee walked up to them and turned off the volume and asked the three girls.

“Girls, what are you doing?”

“We're just seeing how many hits our new music video has gotten.” Sweetie Belle said as Applebloom turned volume back up, but Miss Cheerilee tooked the speaker away from them.

“Girls, just no, these computer are for research purposes only.” she said before she left.

“It's just as well, y'all. Some of the comments about our song were really awful.” Applebloom said as they looked at the comments. “Epic fail”... “Funniest thing I've ever seen”?!

“Funniest thing they’ve ever seen, huh?” Sweetie Belle said as the CMC left the library before Twilight could stop them. Twilight used her fist to type, but Tails told her to use her fingers as he demonstrated it to her, but not before Snips recorded some part of the clip.

Twilight grab multiple book that was towering of her and couldn’t keep her balance and fell on the as Sonic and the others grabbed some of the book before they fell on the floor, but Miss Cheerilee shushed then for being to loud. 

“Sorry.” Twilight said in a quiet voice as Snips recorded it and snickered a little louder. 

The group made their way to a printer and Twilight didn’t know how it worked, but Amy knew how it worked and pressed a button that caused to make a bright flash, which scared they daylight of Twilight and fall on the books. Snips snickered loud enough to make Knuckles and Amy here and walked up to, but didn’t notice for a few seconds while Sonic and Tails helped Twilight get back up on her feet.

“So you been recording us, huh?” Amy said, pulling out her hammer at Snips as he realized what kind of situation he was in.

“Maybe we could give home another gift for that Sunset person?” Knuckles said as he cracked his namesake and while Snips ran away from them, but Knuckles and Amy didn’t chase after him.

“The library will be closing in five minutes.” the P.A. voice said as Twilight got tired from trying to find research.

“I just realized, we don’t have a place to live!” Twilight said until Spike got their attention.

“I might have a solution.” Spike said

As they followed Spike to the top part of the library, they saw a large dusty sheet on top of something, then Spike pulled it, causing it to make dust flying everywhere and after that, they saw 5 book bed. “It might not be much, but will this do?” 

“Yes Spike, that will do.” Twilight said.

They group laid down on the bed as they were about to go to sleep.

“So what you found out doing out doing you research Twilight.” Amy asked.

“Well I found a yearbook, so maybe we can find out why happened to the others.” Twilight said as she opened the book to see younger versions of Twilight friends. “That’s Pinkie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and I think the one on the far right is Rarity.

“There’s a Rarity!” Spike said as he took the book and looked to see Rarity because he has a crush on her. After he looked, he gave the book back to Twilight as they gave him a smug look.

Twilight flipped to the next page and saw Cream and Cheese, Vector, Espio, Charmy, Mighty, Ray, and two Mobians, one’s a bat with a heart chest plate, a black outfit, and long gloves. The other one looked like Sonic, but he had black fur, rocket sneaker, and white chest fur.

“Hey that’s Cream’s friends I think.” Tails said. 

“But, who are those two?” Sonic asked, but they didn’t know the answer, but Amy thought of a idea.

“Okay, so if we make a good impression for the different group of kids, Twilight might actually win the Formal Fall.” Amy said. "And don't worry about Sunset, for now lets show everyone who we really are."

“Thanks Amy, now let's going to sleep because (yawn) I really tired...” Twilight said, but went to sleep, as well as Tails and Amy.

At the top of the building, Sonic looked up at the moon, thinking about his battle against Metal Sonic. 

“Hey Sonic, what you doing up here, we should get some sleep for tomorrow.” Knuckles said

“Knuckles, when Amy and I were checking out the whole school, We saw Metal Sonic threatening a squirrel named Ray.”

“Metal Sonic?!” Knuckles said, being surprised to hear that Metal Sonic followed him. “Has Eggman followed us here and he used Metal Sonic for some kind of plan?”

Sonic just shrugged and answered, “I don’t know Knux, but there’s no sign of him because he might be hiding from us?”

“Well we can worry about that later, for now we can focus on helping Twilight.” Knuckles said as he went to his bed.

"Right." Sonic followed

The next day, the group woke up from there sleep when they hear Celestia voice coming from the P.A. system saying that vote are up until tomorrow night. Twilight began making a list on how to get the different groups to vote for her as Princess.

“Hey Twilight, what are you doing?” Sonic asked.

“I’m making a list of getting other groups to vote for me.” Twilight said

“Wow a list, that so unlike you!” Spike jokingly said, but they gave him a glare as he embarrassed himself. “Uh...Please...Continue.”

“Well I’m going to engage in a conversation with them from the things I learned from this world.” Twilight said, but took deep breaths. “Okay guys, time to make a good impression because the whole world depends on it...sorta.”

They walked out of the library and continued walking until Nolan North saw her and got everyone’s attention as they started laughing at her. They continued to laugh at her, but then they saw Sonic and his friends and stopped laughing all of a sudden.

“Um...Why did they stop laughing, a few seconds ago, they were laughing at me?” Twilight said, but she was pulled by two as Sonic and the others followed her. “What the...Rarity?!”

“Okay, so try this on, you’ become unnoticeable.” the bat said as they gave Twilight a new outfit and different. 

Soon, Sonic and the other walked to find Twilight in a different outfit.

“Twilight, are you okay?!” Amy said as the Rarity and the bat girl disappointed that it didn’t work. 

“It too bad we couldn’t find a disguise for you, he too cute.” Rarity said to Spike as was love-struck by Rarity calling him cute. “Maybe he can be a bunny, right Rouge?”

This made Twilight and the others confused, including Spike himself. Suddenly the door open to find Applejack herself.

“There’s ya are, Twilight, I been lookin’ for ya.” Applejack said.

“Me too!” Charmy said.

“Me three.” Fluttershy said as Pinkie Pie, Cream and Cheese, Espio, Vector, Mighty, and Ray came in through the door.

“Like the new look you go there.” Pinkie complemented.

“I do have an eye for these sorts of things, Not that you seem to care. Rarity stated.

“What?!” Pinkie shouted.

“Why do you think she doesn't care, no, never mind, why were you all looking for me, what's going on?” Twilight asked.

“You haven’t seen that new video?” Mighty said which made Twilight raise a eyebrow.

“New video?” she asked, 

“Why it not that bad...” Pinkie Pie said with a nervous laugh. 

Everyone in the room gather around Twilight to show her the video Sunset made about her.

“Twilight Sparkle wants to be your Fall Formal Princess, but what does it say about our school if we give someone like this... such an important honor?” As they video continued, Twilight was in utter shock to see that she picked up books with her mouth, losing her balance when she dropped the books, and her getting scared from the printer.

“But I...” Twilight couldn’t even finish her sentence.

“You were saying Pinkie Pie!” Rouge said as Pinkie realized that it was bad.

“But didn’t all of this happened yesterday at the the library and WAIT, that’s why ever was laughing at you, they saw the video right.” Tails said as Pinkie and AJ nodded.

“Now no one will ever vote for me.” Twilight said. 

“Not that’s going to change, but I’ll still vote for you.” Fluttershy said. “You and your friends were so nice to stand against Sunset for me, Cream and Cheese.”

“Me too.” Pinkie said

“Word of advice, I wouldn’t trust her, she was mean to Fluttershy.” Cream said

“No I’m not, she lying to you!” Pinkie said to Cream as she pointed to Fluttershy.

“Please, stop trying to act innocent already because it isn’t working.” Rarity said to Pinkie. She turns to Twilight and and other and said, “If you darling need any assistance, Rouge and I are happy to help, (turn to Charmy) and not from irresponsible little bee!”

“Why I oughta!” Charmy said.

This cause them to argue until Applejack got their attention.

“Listen to y'all carryin' on! Get over it and move on! Applejack said.

“Just like how you can’t get over how Rainbow Dash and her softball not showing.” Espio said, causing Applejack face to turn red in anger as Mighty defended her.

“Rainbow Dash made her look like a liar at the bake sale unlike you guys!” Mighty said.

“You said you didn’t want to be on our team, remember! Vector yelled.

“I never left and you guys kicked me out of the ‘Chaotix’!” Mighty shouted back.

“Mighty, are you sure they kicked you out?” Ray said to Mighty, but he didn’t listen to him.

“Oh be quiet, in case you haven’t forgotten, you called me a ‘Broad’! Rouge stated.

“No I haven’t?!” Ray said

“Ray would never say anything like that, he’s too nice to say anything like that!” Mighty said to Rouge.

Soon, they began arguing so much that it was too much for Twilight and others. Knuckles however, got so annoyed by their arguing that it made his eyes spin to the back of his head, but it got to his beaking point and had to stop this argument.

“SHUT UP!” Knuckles yelled as everyone one stopped arguing and all eyes were on him. You guys used to be friends remember?” he said as Twilight took out the yearbook with the Applejack and her friends and turned to the picture showing Cream and her friends.

“Ah, Freshman Fair, ya’ll remember? Applejack said ask they nodded in agreement.

“And how about that fun time when we went on that camping trip.” Cream said which made Cheese excited.

“So I’m guessing that you guys not being friends is because of Sunset!” Knuckles said.

“Wow, that’s a lot coming from you Knuckles.” Sonic said to Knuckles.

“I may be gullible, but I ain’t stupid.” Knuckles said.

“That’s is a good answer Knuckles, maybe you and I can go out with each other.” Rouge said to Knuckles, making him turning red.

“Are you sure Rouge, I mean, Sunset could never do that?” Fluttershy asked Rouge.

“But what about that video, she exposed Twilight for all the wrong reasons.” Sonic stated.

“Maybe, but I still believe that it’s Pinkie Pie fault for being fireworks to the animal shelter!” Fluttershy said to Pinkie.

“Nu-uh, you said to bring fireworks because you were having a big huge party coming up!” Pinkie remarked.

“No I haven’t?” Fluttershy said, being confused that that she never to Pinkie.

“Well it occur to you that it that it could be her, right?” Rarity said. “You don't think she's the one who's been sending me those e-mails, do you? Every time I volunteer to help with the decorations at a school function, I get an e-mail from Pinkie Pie saying she has plenty of volunteers! And then I find out she's done everything herself.”

“Hold on, I never sent you any e-mails?” Pinkie said.

“Maybe she’s the reason why Rainbow Dash and her softball team never showed up to ma’ bake sale.” Applejack said.

“But have you ever talked to her about it?” Amy asked.

“Well ah kinda stopped talking to her after that.”

“Wait a minute, so that means that Mighty never left and Ray never called Rouge a ‘broad’!” Vector said as they began to apologize to each until Tails noticed another video and called everyone in the room and look. Once he clicked on the video, it showed Sonic, Amy, and Ray fighting Metal Sonic. They looked at the comments as they were saying it was the coolest fight they ever seen with a ton of likes.

“I can’t believe it, they really like us.” Ray said.

“Who is that robot anyway that looks like you Sonic?” Espio asked Sonic.

“His name is Metal Sonic made to best my at everything I’m really good at.” Sonic said as everyone was confused.

“Are you saying that you and your friends destroy robot that release small animals and you have to fight this guy named Dr. Robotnik who he changed his name to Eggman who tries to take over the world and fail thanks to you.” Pinkie said as Sonic and his friends looked confused and knew she was right.

“I guess so?” Sonic said as he shrugged.

“Lets deal with that later, right now, AJ and Rainbow Dash need to make up.” Vector said as the team left the room.

Before Sonic left, he heard a voice talking to him as he revealed himself to be the same hedgehog from the photo.

“Your saying that girl is going against Sunset, hmph, I’ll give her some respect for that blue hedgehog.” the black hedgehog said to Sonic.

“Who are you, are you one of her lackeys?!” 
Sonic demanded. “You better say something or we might fight!”

“No I’m not, I used to be her friend until she ruled the school and I lost trust in her afterwards.” the black hedgehog said. “ My name is Shadow the Hedgehog.”

“Well Shadow, do you think you can help us with my friend becoming Princess of the Formal Fall?” Sonic asked.

“If it’s going against Sunset Shimmer, then I’m happy to help.” Shadow said as they both left the room at high speed, going to the soccer field.

Meanwhile somewhere at the School, Sunset is furious at Snails about the video of the Metal Sonic fight.

“I can’t believe this, why did you make Twilight’s new friends become popular, now they’re going to vote for her since she with them all the time!” Sunset yelled, but noticed at the end of the video, she saw Metal Sonic inside the trash can and thought of a new plan. Forget what I said about you messing up, know I just thought of a new plan.”
> Chapter 6: Twilight vs. Rainbow Dash

After the video, Sunset went to the same place where the Metal Sonic fight happened and locked for him. Sunset and her lackeys picked up Metal Sonic from the trash can and took him with them.

“So what are we going to do with him?” Snips asked getting Sunset’s attention.

“I’ll tell you later.” she told him. “Right now, follow Twilight at the soccer field, Now!” she commanded them as they ran off and went to the soccer field.

Afterward, Sonic and Shadow were neck and neck as they raced to the soccer field at fast speeds.

“I’ll admit, even though I just met you, I can’t believe that there’s someone as fast as me.” Shadow stated. “But, who are you anyway?”

“I’m just a guy that loves adventure.” Sonic told Shadow. “I’m Sonic the Hedgehog! And you are?” 

“My name is Shadow, I was created at the Space Colony Ark. I also the Ultimate Lifeform.” Shadow said which made Sonic raise a eyebrow.

“Space Colony Ark? Ultimate Lifeform?” Sonic said, but before he could ask, they made it to the soccer field at the same time.

“Yo Sonic over here!” Mighty called to Sonic as Sonic walked forward as Shadow followed him.

“Hey Sonic, who’s that guy standing right next to you?” Twilight asked.

“This is Shadow, one of Sunset’s friends before she became evil.” Sonic said.

“Are you sure we can trust him darling, he might backstab us and give Sunset some new plan to stop Twilight.” Rarity asked.

“You can trust Shadow, he always there for his friends.” Rouge said making Shadow turn his head away. “He might look grumpy, but if you really know him, he’s a real softie.” 

“Just don’t think I’m always like that.” Shadow added, but quickly turned to Applejack and Rainbow Dash. “What happening over there, didn’t they stop talking to each other, just what’s going on?” 

“Well Applejack and Rainbow Dash Are apologizing to each other since they realize that Sunset caused us to getting into a disagreement between us.” Espio told him.

As Applejack and Rainbow Dash were talking, they hugged and walked back to the group to tell the group how things really happened.

“Turns out that Sunset has told Rainbow that my bake sale has moved to a different and Dash and thought I’d cancelled in her.” Applejack explained.

“So you guys want to dethrone Sunset and helped Twilight become Princess of the Formal Fall, I’m in!” Rainbow said as the whole group got excited, but Rainbow Dash said as she pointed at Twilight, “But on one condition, beat me in a soccer match, one-on-one.” she added, making the whole group worried as she backflip kick the ball to the goal.

“Even if we’re in another dimension, Rainbow Dash always wants a competition.” Sonic whispered to his friends.

Twilight was really nervous because if she lost, they could stay in this world for another 30 moons. Twilight couldn’t move until Cream came up to here.

“Are you okay Ms. Twilight?” Cream asked as both her and Cheese looked worried.

“I never played soccer in my life and if I lose, I can’t become Princess of the Formal Fall!” Twilight panickly said while breathing really fast.

Cream came up to her and gave her a white flower and told her, “I want you to wearing this because I know you afraid, but 
what matter is that you tried and had a fun time playing.” Cream said to her, giving her a confidence boost.

“You’re right Cream, even if I lose, all that matters is that I tried something new and had fun at the end.” Twilight said as she put the flower in her hair.

Cream sat down on the bleachers with the others who looked unease as Twilight was challenging Rainbow Dash, captain of the soccer team.

“Are you sure she can win?” Pinkie said.

“I hope so, if not, well that’s that.” Rouge told Pinkie Pie.

When the match began, Rainbow Dash moved with the soccer ball and kicked it toward the goal that Twilight had to guard, however, she didn’t know what to do and ducked down to avoid getting hit, but she let Rainbow Dash get a point as it score tally now said 2-0. The group became more worried, especially Cream and Cheese, who believed in Twilight throughout the whole game. The match resumed with Rainbow Dash giving her the ball, but as Twilight was about to kick, Dash had moved the ball away from her with her shoe and kicked the ball to the goal, making it go to 3-0.

“This isn’t good, Dash isn’t giving her a chance to try.” Vector stated.

“Things might turn around, it isn’t over darling.” Rarity said.

“I doubt it, Rainbow is not the kinda person to go easy on someone.” Applejack said

As the game continued, Twilight got the ball and headed to the goal, suddenly Rainbow Dash stoke the ball and kicked it to goal, making the score 4-0. Rainbow Dash was showing off her soccer skill as Twilight has  trying to think of how to steal the ball, but Rainbow accidentally kicked the ball at Twilight face, but it didn’t have to much force to hit pretty hard. Twilight had got the ball and ran towards her, but she was predicting herself missing the ball and having Rainbow Dash beat her, until she heard Cream’s words.

*”I want you to wear this because I know you are afraid, but what matter is that you tried and had a fun time.”* 

Twilight didn’t want to let her new friends down and snapped back to reality and kicked the and it landed inside, making the score go to 4-1. 

Everyone was in complete shock, same for Rainbow Dash as she never saw that coming. The game quickly ended when Rainbow Dash kicked the ball to her goal as the score board was 5-1. The whole group was looking down, but change and picked up because Twilight was able to get a point against Rainbow Dash herself, who was surprised to see that she was able to get a point.

“I do have to admit, that was pretty cool to see a newbie earn themself a point, so I’m in!” Rainbow Dash said, which confused Twilight.

“But didn’t I lose?” Twilight said.

“Yeah you did, but I’m not gonna let Sunset become Princess of the Formal Fall. It requires heart and determination, the two things you and your friends have!” Rainbow Dash said.

“So what kind of plan do you think we can do to help Twilight?” Amy said.

“I like a good plan and all, but can we go and find something to eat?” Charmy asked.

“Let’s go to Sugar Cube Corner everyone.” Rouge said as they headed towards Sugar Cube Corner, but didn’t expect Snips and Snails take pictures of Twilight in the soccer match as they plan to do something horrible.
> Chapter 7: The Perfect Plan!

As they were walking down to Sugarcube Corner, they met Flash Sentry in his car heading to Sugarcube Corner as well.

“Hey, since we’re heading there, might as well walk together, right?” Flash asked while he got out of his car.

“Sure, the more, the merrier!” Ray said as the group, plus Flash walked to Sugarcube Corner. However, Sunset was watching from behind CHS as she clenched her fist and grit her teeth.

“Oh, now you just made things even worse Twilight, and your friends will regret ever going after me!” Sunset angrily said.

Meanwhile, the team began walking down town as they told Flash about their plan.

“So you guys are going to convince everyone to for you Twilight, you and your friends got this in the bag.” Flash said.

“Now you’re speaking my language Flash, you might be the coolest person I ever met.” Sonic told Flash, who responded with a smile, but his attention was caught by Tails and Cream, who were flying in the air.

“Woah! You two can fly, how is that possible?” Flash asked.

“I was born with two tails, that I can use to spin as fast as a helicopter and people made fun of me for it, but when I met Sonic, things changed and from that people never made fun of me after that.” Tails said.

“Oh darling, you have us and we think it’s splendid to have to two tails.” Rarity said.

“My ears allow me to fly as what Tails told me, they let me levitate in the air, but I’m not as experienced as Tails is.” Cream said to Flash.

“So Twilight, do you want to go with me at  Formal Fall?” Flash asked, causing Twilight to start blushing and making her jumble up her words as Flash and her friends looked at her, waiting for an answer.

“Well...I um...You know...It just...um...maybe later, I need more time to think about it...” Twilight awkwardly said, but Flash seemed okay about. 

“It’s okay, you haven’t thought about it yet, so I’ll give you more time to think about it.” Flash said as they made it to Sugarcube Corner.

Inside Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie Pie and Charmy saw the sweets they had and were the first ones to zip to the Mrs. Cake, causing Applejack and the Chaotix groan.

“Classic Charmy, always the hyperactive one.” Rouge giggled as they walked in except Shadow, who waited outside the store and Flash asked Rouge what’s with him as she answered, “Did you remember when you and Sunset broke up and Shadow became unhappy, it’s because he hasn’t gotten over it.”

“Maybe I’ll go talk to him.” Flash said as he went outside to talk to Shadow. “Hey Shadow, wanna eat with us?”

“I’m fine and I like to be by myself.” Shadow said to Flash without turning his head.

“Is it because of Sunset, I get what you been through losing Sunset as a friend.” Flash told Shadow, but he told Flash something that was really personal to him.

“She reminded of Maria...” 

“Who is this Maria person?” Flash said

“Maria was my the only friend and felt like a sister to me, but....” Shadow told him.

“But what happened, did she leave to a new school or stopped being friends with you or something?” Flash asked as Shadow told him the truth.

“She...died...” Shadow simply told Flash, who was speechless.

“How did that happen?!” he finally said.

“Maria had a disease which caused her to become separated from life on Earth, so both her and her grandfather went to a space station called Ark.” Shadow explained to Flash as he continued with the story. “The GUN soldiers raided Ark in order to stop ‘Project Shadow’ and killed everyone on Ark, including Maria.” Shadow finished.

“I’m really sorry that you had to go through all that, losing a friend that was your only family you had and lost her, I know it’s sad but you have us as your real friends and there’s no doubt about it.” Flash told Shadow, who gave him a slight smile on his face.

“You’re right Flash, I do have some guys who do care for me.” Shadow said as he both him and Flash walked inside.

After Twilight got her drink, she accidentally bumped into Flash Sentry, spilling her drink on his shirt and on the floor.

“You too have to stop bumping into each other, you know?” Shadow told the two, Twilight and Flash both picked up the cup, touching hand making Twilight nervous.

“Well you know me...Making a big splash...’Cause my drink’...I’m just going over there now.” Twilight said with a nervous smile as she walked to the group as Shadow followed her. As she got there, she began blushing while she twirled her hair.

“Are you okay Twilight, you seem more...goofy?” Tails asked.

“What...me...no way, I’m fine.” Twilight said with a awkward smile.

“Don’t tell me that you’re falling for Sunset’s Ex-Boyfriend, are you?” Rarity said.

“Wait, Flash Sentry and Sunset Shimmer went out, TOGETHER?!” Knuckles asked as his mouth was hanging.

“Right you are Knuckles, the only reason they went out was to increase her popularity.” Espio told him.

“Flash broke up with her because she became more and more of a bully, which he didn’t like about her.” Vector said.

“And because of that, I stopped being friends with her, but she hasn’t done anything bad to me or Flash?” Shadow added.

“Maybe she’s planning on something even worse than she did to me.” Twilight said, but everyone turned to Rouge.

“Look, the dance is tomorrow and we don’t have anything to get people vote for Twilight to become Princess, any ideas?” Rouge asked, but no one had a plan when suddenly, Rarity figured out a solution.

“I GOT IT!” Rarity shouted as everyone looked at her, until she realized her mistake. “Sorry, but maybe I have a solution.” As Rarity reached in her bag, she pulled out yellow-blue colored pony ears and tails. “What if we all wear these, but I only have 6 of them.” 

The whole group looked confused as what she had planned for them until Fluttershy asked, “What do you mean Rarity?”

“Freshman year, they were very, very popular. A way for everybody to show their school spirit, you know, ‘Go, Canterlot Wondercolts’!” Rarity said as she cleared her throat.

“Haven’t heard that in ages?” Mighty said.

“Too bad I didn’t sold any of them, well even though the five of us are different, we’re all Wondercolts!” Rarity said.

“Sunset might have divided everyone in different groups, Twilight is the one that that unites us and we’re gonna show that we are better together instead of being divided.” Amy said

At the cafeteria, the Mane 6 put on the the pony ears and tails as Pinkie Pie started hit the bar with her lunch tray, Rarity stomped her feet and clapped her hand, which got everyone’s attention. Sonic came in with his friends as they played along.

The song continued as Sunset watched from the background, until she saw Snips and Snails wearing the pony ears and tails while dancing at the same time.

“Take those ridiculous things off!” she yelled as Snips and Snails quickly took them off while a sheepish smile. “Now I want you two to do something for me.” 

In the cafeteria, the song ended as the students cheered for Twilight, then Sonic got everyone’s attention.

“Everyone at Canterlot School High, we want to tell you that Twilight Sparkle can bring us together as one big group and of being divided, if Sunset can do whatever she wants, then she has another thing coming for bullying us because there Endless Possibilities we what that Sunset doesn’t!” Sonic stated as everyone nodded in agreement.

“You got my vote, Twilight.” one student said.

“Me too, sorry for laughing at you, you and your friends are so cool!” another student added as everyone decided to vote for Twilight.

“Hmph, I like your attitude Sonic.” Shadow said as he smiled.

“What can I say, I care for my friends and Sunset isn’t gonna boss us around!” Sonic said.

“Are you some kind of hero?” Pinkie asked.

“Nope, just someone that looks out for my friends.” Tails said.

“And I looks like everything’s going as smooth as butter.” Rainbow Dash said.
> Chapter 8: Everything for Nothing

As the group walked down the hallway, most of the students wore the pony ears and tails discussing how they're going to vote for Twilight as princess.

"I can't believe it actually work!" Vector stated

"Well isn't this just fabulous." Rarity said

"it was a great plan Rarity." Twilight complemented

"Yeah and we're definitely gonna win for sure!" Sonic boasted as Shadow spotted Sunset, Snips, and Snails walking towards them with sinister grins.

"Not yet, it looks like Sunset's approaching us." Shadow said as they looked at Sunset and her lackeys, who walked pasted them while Snips pushed Sunset faster to avoid Knuckles and Amy as Snails followed them.

"What was that all about?" Pinkie asked Knuckles and Amy who told her that they wouldn't double cross them.

As Snips pushed to Vice Principal Luna door, Sunset looked back at Snips with a mean glare demanding, "What the heck was that for Snips?!" This made Snips worried that Sunset didn't like being pushed around.

"W-Well you s-see, th-that r-red g-guy a-and th-that p-pink girl was th-there..." Snips cowardly said as Sunset facepalmed her face because Snips was scared of Knuckles and Amy.

"For now, i don't care." Sunset said as she knocked on Vice Principal Luna, who opened her door to see what Sunset wanted. "Vice Principal Luna! Something terrible happened, I'll show you what just happened as her and Luna rushed to the while the group noticed.

"I don't know what she's planning, but whatever it is, Vector, Charmy, Mighty, Ray and I are going to follow her without being noticed." Espio said as the Chaotix followed Luna and Sunset.

At the gym, the streamers were on the floor, chairs and tables flipped over, balloons popped, and even the disco ball was cracked as Vice Principal Luna was in complete and utter shock until Sunset spoke up.

"Isn't this just awful, and after Pinkie Pie worked so hard to make this perfect and now it's ruined." Sunset faked with sadness in her voice which made Vice Principal Luna skeptical. "Why would Twilight Sparkle, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy do such a thing?"

Vice Principal Luna knew that Twilight and the others couldn't do something like this and asked Sunset, "And why do you think Twilight Sparkle and the others are responsible for something like this?" 

"Because I have proof." Sunset answered as she pulled out a folder of evidence as the Chaotix watched from being.

"Sunset, I knew she was up to something!" Mighty growled

"Well we can't just stand here. We're the Chaotix and as a detective team, we have to prove that Twilight is innocent." Ray said as the Charmy was getting excited as the rest of the team nodded as they saw found clues until they reached to the library saw a cut out photo of someone kicking the ball in the soccer field.

"Looks like we figured out this case in no time flat!" Charmy said as the Chaotix rushed to Vice Principal Luna office. In the office, Twilight, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy sat inside confused as to why they were called to her office in the first place.

"I don't understand, I didn't destroyed the gym decoration?" Twilight asked as Luna handed her the folder of evidence that it was her.

"Well this is clearly you in the photographs, is it not." Vice Principal Luna asked.

"Yes this is her, but not like this." Tails answered.

"And we would never do such a thing." Amy added.

"I'm sorry, but I can't allow you for doing something like a it looks like you aren't competing in becoming Princess of the Formal Fall." Vice Principal Luna stated as Twilight looked down on herself when a knock was heard from the door and it was they Chaotix as Charmy was the first one to blast through the door.

"Charmy would you stop being so childish so much!" Vector told Charmy as Vice Principal Luna, Twilight, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy looked at them with confused looks on their faces. "Anyway Vice Principal Luna, we found some photos in the trash can in the library and we want you to take a look for yourself. 

Vice Principal Luna took a look at the two picture and put them together as they looked the same when Espio answered, "Someone obviously combined the two photos to make it seem it was Twilight who ruined the gym." he said as she looked back at him.

"Thank you for bringing this to my attention Chaotix. In light of this new evidence, you may continue to bid for Princess of the Fall Formal crown." Vice Principal Luna said as Twilight gave the Chaotix a group hug thanking them.

"Thank Vice Principal Luna, you have no idea how important it means to her." Sonic thank to Luna how gave him a small smile.

"Well what you say, we're pretty good detectives around!" Vector boasted as Espio and Mighty rolled their eyes.

"I hate to interrupt on your little conversation, but because of the damages that were done to the gym, the Fall Formal will have to postpone tomorrow night. Now if you excuse me, I'll have to tell me sister about this latest development." Vice Principal Luna left and Flash walked in the office.

"So, uh, I was wondering. If you aren't already going with somebody, wanna go to the Fall Formal with me tomorrow night?" Flash asked Twilight who looked at him eyes as her cheeks turned red while the Sonic, the Chaotix, and the other watched from behind waiting for an answer.

"This is going to be so romantic." Amy said as her eyes looked to Sonic as he groaned.

"That would be... Tomorrow night!? No, no-no-no-no-no, no no no no no! Nonononono! I can't! The portal! That'll be too late!" Twilight ran of with her backpack leaving the other behind as Knuckles, Amy, and the Chaotix followed her.

"Wait Twilight!" Knuckles called as they followed her.

"One 'no' would have been fine!" Flash told Twilight as she ran off.

"Sorry about that, Twilight just have to think about it Flash." Sonic told him

"Twilight does want to go out with you, but like Sonic said, she need to think about it." Tails added as Sonic grabbed him and blasted out in a blue streak.

As Twilight rushed to the fashion store, she ran into the dressing room while the other looked at her confused and then Sonic and the other ran inside.

"How everything going Twilight?" Rouge asked

"Yeah, everything okay!" Twilight quickly answered as Sonic and Knuckles shook their heads as Twilight was talking to herself saying, "Only it's not okay. It's not okay at all! If I don't get my crown tonight, I won't be able to go back to Equestria for another thirty moons! Oh, what are we gonna do?" Twilight questioned herself until Spike finally spoke

"We tell them the truth. Let them know what's really at stake if you don't get the crown tonight. They'll help us figure somethin' out."

"But what if they won't? What if when they find out how different I really am...? Twilight said as her reflection showed her pony self.

"Twilight, they railed around us because 'cause they saw what was in your heart. They aren't gonna feel any differently about you when they find out you're a pony princess in Equestria and also remember what Amy told you." Spike said as Twilight tried to remember what Amy told her as she remember what happened last night in the library.

"And don't worry about Sunset, for now lets show everyone who we really are." Amy said in the flashback as Twilight went back to reality and gave a smile to Spike.

"I'm so glad that you guys followed me here, especially you Spike. Twilight told him.

"Me too." Spike added "Unless, of course, we get stuck here for another thirty moons."

Twilight open the curtains as her friends looked at her.

"You okay?" Applejack asked

"The Fall Formal isn't happening tonight." Twilight simply answered

"WHAT!" Pinkie gasped

"It has to be postpone because of Sunset had Snips and Snails ruin all of Pinkie's decoration, and now I want to give them a really good knuckle sandwich. Knuckles said cracking his namesake.

"WHAT?!? Pinkie gasped again

"But the Fall Formal must happen tonight or else..." Tails added before he was interrupted by Pinkie again.

"WHA-!" Pinkie almost gasped before Rouge and Applejack covered her mouth with annoyed looks on their faces.

Twilight sighed as she told the truth to everyone "You see..." she almost said before Pinkie Pie interrupted.

"You're from an alternate world and you're a pony princess there and the crown actually has a magical element embedded in it that helps power up other magical elements, and without it, they don't work anymore, and you need them to help protect your magical world, and if you don't get the crown tonight, you'll be stuck in this world and you won't be able to get back for, like, a really, really long time! And the same goes with you guys as well and I already asked you guys as well." Pinkie squee as Twilight, Spike, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy were dumbfounded as their mouths were hanging because Pinkie just summarized the whole thing why they're here in the first place.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that isn't the reason." Rainbow turned to Pinkie.

"Nope, she's pretty much spot-on." Spike answered.

"He can talk?!" Rarity shrieked which made the Mobians confused by that statement.

"There are talking animals that walk on two legs and this surprises you? And plus, where I'm from, I'm not even a dog, I'm a ferocious, fire-breathing dragon!" Spike confidently said which made Sonic and the other roll their eyes.

Fluttershy pushed Rarity, Shadow, Pinkie, and Cream out of the way "This is so amazing! Tell me, what are you thinking right now?" Fluttershy gushed as she looked at him with a huge smile making Spike uncomfortable until he looked at Rarity, who was still shocked that she saw a talking dog talk.

"Sure would love a scratch behind the old ears!" Spike asked Rarity who was still speechless

"That can wait later Spike." Shadow sternly said to Spike

"R-Right Sh-Shadow." Spike said

"How?!" Amy asked Pinkie

"Just a hunch" Pinkie squee

"Wait a minute, you're a pony?" Applejack asked

"You're a princess?" Cream and Rarity asked

"And you guys are from another world?" Fluttershy and Charmy asked

Twilight started to get worried and and confessed.

"That...is...AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash said as everyone except Shadow walked up to her asking her many question.

"See told ya." Spike said as Twilight gave him a small smile.

"Hey guys, we want to show you guys something." Sonic asked as he, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy pulled out the 7 chaos emeralds. 

"What is that, glorious colored gem you have there? Rouge asked Knuckles

"From our world, these gems are the seven Chaos Emeralds, powerful gem created from ancient years, my tribe used the Chaos Emeralds for power until a water god wiped them out to extinction and we have to stop anyone from using the Emerald power for evil and I can control the Emeralds, Sonic can use their power." Knuckles explained to the group until Shadow grabbed one of the Chaos Emerald from Sonic hand.

"And how can you control the Chaos Emerald?" Shadow said and suddenly disappeared in a blinding green flash and suddenly reappeared. "What just happened?!"

"Wow, I can't believe that the Chaos Emeralds can do that!" Tails said in surprise that Shadow used Chaos Control by accident.

"Hmph, well lets get to the gym, Chaos...CONTROL!" Shadow shouted as they group teleported to the gym in just a few seconds.

Meanwhile, Sunset, Snips, and Snails walked down the hallway with Metal Sonic until he started to beeping until he said, "Chaos Emerald. Nearby! he said which caught her attention this made her plans much more better.

"Well these 'Chaos Emeralds' sounds interesting." Sunset said sinisterly said to herself.
> Chapter 9: This is Our Big Night

Meanwhile at Canterlot School High gym, a green flash appeared for a few second and died out to reveal Twilight and the group dazed except Shadow from using teleportation in just a few seconds. Once they got there, they saw the whole gym in a mess after what Snips and Snails did to the gym.

"Those two! When I get my hand on them, they'll regret for doing this!" Knuckles growled as he and Mighty cracked their knuckles, but Applejack put her hand on their shoulders and sighed.

"Now there you two,you don't wanna get in serious trouble, do ya?" Applejack asked as Knuckles and Mighty shooked their head.

“I simply can't believe they would do something like this?" Rarity said as she looked around the gym

"I did." Shadow answered to Rarity as everyone looked at him.

"What do you mean Shadow?" Rouge asked

"Well isn't it obvious. Sunset is try to delay the Fall Formal so Twilight, Spike, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy would stay where for another thirty moons as Pinkie said" Shadow stated while crossing his arms. "And if her plans would succeed, then who knows what would happen." he added, then suddenly Pinkie raised her hand to ask Shadow a question.

"How do you know about Sunset super evil plan Shady?" Pinkie asked making Shadow roll his eyes from the name "Shady"

"First, don't call me Shady. Second, I happened when I was walking down the hallway..." Shadow explained as it cut to a flashback to Twilight's confrontation with Sunset in the dark hallway and Shadow overheard the conversation between Sunset, Snips, and Snails. "...I heard Sunset talking about some kind of plan, but she didn't say what, making her plan extremely vague." Shadow finished his explanation after the flashback ended.

"So we know that Sunset is up to something to keep us here, but we have to clean up the place first." Sonic said as he turned to Shadow and asked, "Hey Shadow. Do you want to help me find other students to help us clean this gym?" Sonic asked Shadow who nodded as the two hedgehog left the gym to find students to lend a helping hand, but before Sonic left, he told the group another thing, "Also, nothing's impossible when we're together!" Sonic said as he left the gym.

Twilight looked, but turned around to the group and said, "I know it might seem impossible, but like Sonic said, nothing's impossible when we're together, so maybe if we worked together..." Twilight asked 

"Of course, Twilight." Rouge answered

"We're here with you until the end!" Knuckles added.

"We made some new friends in world, and they were really nice to help us." Tails told Twilight

"And that's the kinda can-do spirit I'm lookin' for in a Fall Formal Princess! Let's do it, y'all!" Applejack asked as she put her hand out in the middle.

The rest of the group agreed and put their hands in the middle and looked back at Twilight, waiting for her to put her hand in the middle and she smiled she put her hand in the middle and they all raised their hand in the air as they were about to clean the gym.

Twilight and Tails went to the gym closet and found some brooms and mops and tossed them to the girls, but Fluttershy didn't catch it and the broom hit her and Rarity hold the broom with two fingers with a look that didn't want to dirty on her clothes. The Mobians picked up the broken object and put them in the trash and put new streamer and balloons.

As the others continued cleaning, both hedgehogs came back with some students and showed them they gym and Twilight, who was having trouble with lifting a table. The two students help Twilight with the table and were surprised to see Knuckles carrying with 5 table on his head while Applejack and Rouge were on top as Twilight giggled.

Pinkie Pie used her hair as a broom to sweep up trash, but not did it get in her hair, Charmy landed inside and popped out on top as the two looked at each other and laughed.

As more and more were brought to gym, they helped put up streamers, pumpkin, painting, speaker, and lights, the student from different groups became more friendly to each and soon began getting along while Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles fist bump each other as Amy and Twilight high five. As they continued cleaning, Twilight bumped into Flash and the two of they looked at each other as the others looked with a smug smile. Afterwards, Twilight and her friends looked at the students cleaning up the gym as Rouge dragged Shadow to be with them as Pinkie gave him a big hug as the black hedgehog groaned and shortly after, the gym was revamped.

“This looks better than before!” Vector said as he looked at the gym.

“If it weren’t for these two, this would have never happened.” Rouge added as she looked back at Sonic and Shadow. “And who would have thought this one can carry 5 tables with two ladies sitting on top.” Rouge winked at Knuckles, who faced turned red as he hide in his hat.

“Looks like Knux was really flattered by your *ahem* compliment there Rouge.” Mighty said as he gave the red echidna a pat on the back while the bat girl giggled.

“I always knew that we could do it and that Sunset couldn’t stop us from doing so.” Espio said

Suddenly Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna can in and announced, ”So you'd better get out of here and start getting ready. Oh, and don't forget to cast your ballots for the Fall Formal Princess on your way out!”

As the students made their way out the gym, they began talking about voting for Twilight after they cleaned the gym. Sunset Shimmer watched from the gym closet and peeked from the door and closed it and looked back at Snips and Snails and scolded them for not doing enough more    damage to the gym.

“You're lucky she was able to pull this off. Next time I ask you to make a mess of things, try to show a little restraint! I need this Formal to go on tonight just as much as she does.” Sunset said with a evil smile before Snips intervened.

“Couldn’t you just steal the crown? I mean, we could steal it while Principal Celestia not looking.” Snips asked, making Sunset yell at him.

“Do you know that she hid it and it’s even if she’s not there, her annoying forgettable sister will catch us!” 

“Sorry...” Snips apologized quickly.

At the fashion store, the group were talking about how they were able to pull of a stunt like that.

“I still can’t believe that we were able to pull that off.” Fluttershy admitted

“Me too. I was getting worried from before.” Cream said

“I did because we’re awesome!” Rainbow Dash bragged

“Enough chatter, everyone. We need to get ready, and we need to look fabulous!

“Please don’t tell me we’re singing again, are we?” Shadow asked

“Shadow, two songs can’t hurt.” Amy said with a smile on her face.

Shadow groaned and refused until Pinkie said, “We’ll won’t start until you say yes Shady.” Pinkie whispered.

“Fine!” Shadow agreed

As they sang, Rarity choose outfits for her friends for the Fall Formal, others loved their new outfits like Amy, Pinkie Pie and Cream. Others like their like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Twilight, Fluttershy, and the Chaotix. The rest weren’t too happy, but had to deal with it like Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Shadow. After they got done with their new looks and the Fall Formal was about to start in a few minutes, Shadow used Chaos Control again to take them to CHS.
> Chapter 10: The Winner Is

As the Fall Formal was starting to begin, the students were walking inside the building, but as they were about to walk inside, a blinding green flash appeared and soon to died out to reveal the group as they student looked in shocked to see something that is very unusual, but amazing happened.

"Welp, looks like we’re here.” Mighty said casually as Rainbow Dash bumped his shoulder to get him to notice the other students looking at them. As the red armadillo looked, he realized that this was new and unusual to them.

“I guess we made a dramatic entrance for ourselves.” Rainbow Dash said.

As they were about to walk inside, a car pulled up and the driver was Flash Sentry himself as Rarity, Charmy, and Vector were surprised to see a student that can afford a expensive car at high school.  

“Is that guy rich or something!” Vector yelled 

“How did he make so much money.” Charmy gushed as he flew around the car, making Flash smile as he walked over to Twilight and her friends.

When Flash walked up to them, Flash took out his hand from his pocket and said, “I know you said “no” and I wasn’t so sure if I can ask you because I haven’t been this cool guy you expected me to be. So do you want to dance with just this once. he said worriedly.

Knuckles put his hand on Twilight shoulder and said, “Look and to be honest, but I’m not the type of person to be encouraging like Sonic, but we, no, you made it this far and we helped each other get to where we are.” the red echidna spoke as Twilight remembered that she has supporting friends by her side.

“I didn't say "no"! I mean, I did, but... I didn't mean no, to you. I was... Well, what I mean is... yes. I'd love to dance with you!” Twilight as the two began holding hand as some of the girls awed.

Sonic dashed up to Flash and said, “Told you she needed to think about it.” As they walked towards the door, Flash accidentally crashes through the door as Twilight helped get inside without sustaining more damage to his face. 

When Sonic looked to his side to see Amy holding her hand out and asked, “May I have this dance?”

Sonic got slightly annoyed, but since it was a dance, he agreed as the two hedgehogs hold hand until Pinkie said, “I think people would ship them?” 

Knuckles laughed at Sonic until Rouge made him start blushing as she grabbed Knuckles’ hand as they started walking as Knuckles tried to yank his hand away, the bat girl always hold his hand while his back was turned.

During the Formal Fall, all the students danced on the dance floor as Flash and the Chaotix played their music the group were also dance except Twilight, who was dancing, but looked around and asked Rainbow Dash about Sunset Shimmer.

“Maybe she was too embarrassed to show! She's gotta know you won by a landslide!” Rainbow Dash said.

“And she also have to realize that all of her mean plans didn’t work as she thought they did.” Cream added which made Twilight a little worried.

“I guess so.” Twilight said to herself

As they continued to dance, Principal Celestia walked up the stage as a student named Mirco Chips, turned the music down to silent as the band walked off stage as Vector gave the principal the microphone so she can give out an announcement.

“First off, I wanna say how wonderful everything looks tonight. You all did a magnificent job pulling things together after the unfortunate events of earlier. And now, without further ado, I'd like to announce the winner of this year's Fall Formal crown.” Principal Celestia said as her sister walked up stage with a box in her hand. “The Princess of this year's Fall Formal is... Twilight Sparkle!” The students cheered that Twilight Sparkle won and not Sunset Shimmer as a undetected Snips and Snails walked in and sneaked towards Spike and Cheese. “Congratulations, Twilight Sparkle.”Principal Celestia said as she put the crown on Twilight head.

“TWILIGHT HELP, CHEESE AND SPIKE ARE MISSING. THEY WERE TAKEN BY SNIPS AND SNAILS!” Cream cried as Amy tried to calm her down as when they saw Snips and Snails walking out the doors with Cheese and Spike as the group chased them to front building to see Sunset Shimmer with a Sledgehammer as the group stopped as Sunset told them to stop.

“Twilight, help us!” Spike yelled, but his mouth was covered by Snails.

“You better not lay a single scratch on Cheese you...you...Bacon Head bully!” Cream yelled as everyone went silent as Sunset growled, but kept her cool.

“Oh, I wouldn't dream of it. I'm not a monster, Cream.” Sunset said to the rabbit as she turned to her lackeys. “Let them go.” Sunset commanded as they let go of Spike and Cheese as Twilight picked up Spike as Cream, Amy, and Fluttershy hugged the crying Chao as he was also hugging the girls. Sunset look at Twilight, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy and said, “The five don't belong here. Give me the crown and the emeralds, and you can go back to Equestria tonight. Or keep it and never go home.

Twilight and the other were shock that Sunset know about the Chaos Emeralds until Twilight asked, “How do you know about the Chaos Emeralds?!” 

“Because of that blue robot.” Sunset said as she was referring to Metal Sonic himself. Suddenly Metal Sonic appears and stand beside Sunset Shimmer. “Tick-tock. We haven't got all night. The portal will be closing on its own in less than an hour. So, what's your answer?” 

Twilight was in a very tough spot to go back home, but Sunset will keep the crown and emeralds for another thirty-moons or not giving Sunset the crown and emerald, but stay her for another thirty-moons.

“Heck no!” Sonic yelled, prompting a really confused response from Sunset. “We would rather stay here with our new friends than giving you two the emeralds and crown!” 

“Sonic’s right. We would stay here than let you destroy Equestria because even if I’m gone, Equestria will find a way to protect itself without my magic!” Twilight said as Tails, Knuckles, and Amy agreed. Sunset gave up and threw the hammer backwards as it almost hit Snips and Snails.

“That...was...amazing!” Rainbow Dash yelled 

“You’re willing to do this for us.” Mighty asked Sonic and Knuckles.

“It’s no wonder why you’re a real live princess. Rarity said.

As Twilight’s friends thanked her for staying here than to give up to Sunset, making her more and more annoyed and she snapped saying, “Oh, yes, she's so veryspecial!” Sunset Shimmer tackled her on the ground as the crown fall off her head as Rouge picked up the crown. Sunset turns to Metal Sonic, Snips, and Snails yelling, “Get her you fools!”

Rouge ran away from Snips and Snails, but Sunset pushes them out of the way. Rouge flew above Sunset and nearly dodged Metal Sonic and passed the crown to Applejack. The cowgirl caught it, but Snips and Snails tried to take it from her as she fended them off and passed it to Rarity. Rarity tried to catch it, but Metal Sonic flew by, and snatched it, but before he could do anything, Knuckles uppercut the robot and tossed it to Charmy, Snips took it, Pinkie grabbed it from his hands and passed it to Spike, then Cream, then Twilight, Vector, and Espio as he tossed it to Cheese as Snips failed to grab it. Cheese got really excited, but got hit by Metal Sonic and was caught by Cream as Metal also knocked out the emeralds out of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.

“Thank You Metal. Sunset said while looking at the crown and emerald, but she didn’t notice that they turned black and glowed purple. “At last! More power than I could ever imagine!” As Sunset used the crown’s magic and emeralds power, along with Metal, they were surrounded by a electric wave and Suddenly, Sunset and Metal was floating in the air as thunder rumbled. The Heroes looked on as Snips and Snails were amazed.
> Chapter 11: Friendship is Everywhere

As Sunset and Metal floated in the air and the clouds got louder, the students looked from the entrance and gasped seeing a teal and dark beam engulfed them. Inside, Sunset Shimmer changed into a she-demon with a different hair style, new outfit a tail, and demon wings. Metal Sonic entire body transformed as metal claws attached on his hands, grew large steel wings, and a metallic body of a shape of a dragon. Sunset laughed manically as the heroes gasped in shock. The she-demon looked at her new form and transformed Snips and Snails into demon as they got excited over their new forms.

“I've had to jump through so many hoops tonight just to get my hands on this crown and those jewels, and it really should have been mine all along.” Sunset told the students as she growled and turned to Metal Sonic and said, “But let's let bygones be bygones. I am your princess now, and you will be loyal... to me! Metal Sonic! Handle them over there and crush them!” the she-demon commanded as Metal flew over to the heroes and swiped his claw at them. Sunset destroyed the door and the students ran away and screamed, but unfortunately, Sunset was able to brainwash the students with her magic. As she looked at her newly brainwashed students, Snips and Snails walked towards Sunset and they were told to round up everyone.

As the heroes dodged Metal Sonic attacks, Shadow was standing and looked at Sunset Shimmer with a angry look on his face. “You’re going to far Sunset!” Shadow growled as Sunset laughed.

“Well to bad Shadow. I changed and you should know that by know and I was bluffing when I said I was going to destroy the portal. I don't want to rule this pathetic little high school; I want Equestria! And with my own little teenage army and a metal dragon behind me, I am going to get it!” Sunset told Shadow as he and Twilight said that Flash was also mind controlled too.

Twilight looked worried, but quickly saw the black hedgehog glowing red as he gritted his teeth. Suddenly, Metal Sonic swiped the two to the ground, but Shadow wasn’t fazed by it.

“You think that a couple of teenage students would help you take over another world. You’ll have to get past me!” Shadow yelled and shouted, “Chaos...BLAST!” 

The blast was strong enough to knock back Sunset and Metal, but it left Shadow opened for attack and got knocked back and hit the heroes, causing them to fall back. When Knuckles got up, he saw the Chaos Emeralds without it’s color, but he sensed it’s energy.

“Everyone! The emeralds lost it color, but I can sense some kind of...positive energy inside of it.” Knuckles told them and quickly thought of a answer, “Maybe if we use the positive energy of the Chaos Emeralds, it will be enough to stop Sunset and Metal Sonic!”

“Oh, please! What exactly do you think you're going to do to stop me? I have magic, and you have nothing!” Sunset yelled at the heroes.

“She has us!” Rainbow Dash yelled back.

“We been with each other side and made true friends with each other!” Ray added as the heroes stand next to each other.

“Gee, the gang really is all back together again.” Sunset mocked. “Now step aside! Twilight and her new friends have tried to interfere with my plans one too many times already! They needs to be dealt with!” Sunset and Metal Sonic fired a blast at them and our heroes huddled together, bracing themselves for the blast. Smoke appears as Sunset laughed, but to her shock, they were protected by a purple field.

Twilight looked behind her and saw her new friends holding hand around her, including Shadow. “The magic contained in my Element and the energy of the Chaos Emeralds was able to unite with those that helped create it!” Twilight shot back as the magic from her element left Sunset and flew to the heroes. “Honesty! Kindness! Laughter! Generosity! Loyalty! Magic!” Twilight voice echoed as Rainbow, Pinkie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Twilight growing pony ears, longer hair, and grew wings (only Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy)

“The ones that uses the emeralds power use if for evil, but it’s true power comes from those who hearts are positive and we made it together with the power of friendship!” Knuckles said as yellow light shined from the emerald and Sonic and Shadow fur turned super, Knuckles flash pink and red, Tails flash white and orange and 4 yellow flickies circled over his head while the other Mobians had a super bubble surrounding them.

“Together with a crown and emeralds, they create a power beyond anything you could imagine, but it is a power you don't have the ability to control! The crown may be upon your head, Sunset Shimmer, but you cannot wield it, because you do not possess the most powerful magic of all: the magic of friendship!” Twilight said as the Chaos Emeralds regained their color taking the magic Sunset Shimmer, but not Metal Sonic, who dodged the blast. The Mobians flew up to the stormy clouds and hit Metal Sonic, but no damage was done on him and shot laser at them, causing them to fall back.

“Dang! How are we supposed to do anything to him!” Mighty shouted.

Rouge was thinking and answered, what if we hit him together since we’re a team.” 

“Rouge is right, if we hit him together, we can show this Metal Overlord what we’re made of!” Sonic said as Vector grabbed Charmy, Ray, Mighty, Knuckles, and Espio at Metal at high speeds, then Tails kicked Cream and Rouge as they were surrounded by electricity, and finally Sonic and Shadow ended by dashing into his core, causing Metal to fall down to the ground and creating a huge crater. 

At a café, the people inside were arguing with each other and at the end of the seating table, three hooded girls began vocalizing synchronized as the red jewel on their neck absorb a green smoke emitting from the people arguing.

“That was barely worth the effort, Adagio. I'm tired of fast food. I need a meal.” One of the girls said with her moderate mulberry eyes, light brilliant aquamarine hair, and pale, light grayish fuchsia skin named Aria Blaze told one the other girl that as she sat next to another girl with brilliant raspberry eyes,luminous vivid orange hair with brilliant yellow streaks, and pale apple green skin named Adagio Dazzle. The girl sitting next to Aria has moderate raspberry eyes, Light arctic blue hair with moderate persian blue stripes, and arctic bluish white skin name Sonata Dusk.

“The energy in this world isn't the same as in Equestria. We can only gain so much power here.” Adagio admitted

“Ugh! I wish we'd never been banished to this awful place!” Aria complained

“Really? I love it here!” Adagio said sarcastically.

“For realsies? Because I think this place is the worst.” Sonata asked.

I think you're the worst, Sonata.“ Aria told Sonata because of her not seeing the obvious.

“Oh, yeah? Well, I think you're—” Sonata shot back, but was interrupted by Adagio.

“Ergh! I'll tell you one thing, being stuck here with you two isn't making this world any more bearable.” Adagio growled, but a loud boom got her attention as she looked on. The three hooded girls ran outside and saw the rainbow swirl and the yellow light in the sky. As it happened, Adagio’s red jewel shined. “Did you feel that?!” Adagio smirked and turned around to Aria and Sonata. “Do you know what that is?” Adagio asked the two girls, but they shrugged. “It’s Equestrian Magic!” Adagio said to Aria.

“But this world doesn't have Equestrian magic.” Aria reminded Adagio.

“It does now. And we're going to use it to make everyone in this pathetic little world adore us!” Adagio said as the three of them looked in the sky with evil smiles on their faces

Meanwhile at CHS, Twilight and the girls shot a magic rainbow at Sunset, she was engulfed in the rainbow all the students snapped out of her mind-control and Snips and Snails was transformed back into normal students. As the Mobians flew down to see the crater that was made. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy saw their friends lying on the ground from all the magic and chaos energy they used. Spike ran up to Twilight and licked her face, when she got up hugged Spike and smile to see Cream and Cheese happy. When she turned her head, Twilight and her friends saw the massive crater in front of them and saw Sunset and Metal, trying to get back up.

“It’s no use, but why can’t I defeat you?” Metal Sonic said

“Because...We’re Heroes and we solve our problems with the power of Friendship and Teamwork together Metal!” Super Sonic said as they nodded in a agreement as they turned to Sunset.

“You will never rule in Equestria. Any power you may have had in this world is gone. Tonight, you've shown everyone who you really are. You've shown them what is in your heart.” Twilight raised her voice at the crying Sunset which made Cream sad to see that she learned her lesson.

“I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't know there was another way.” Sunset apologized.

Super Sonic flew up to Sunset and said, “The magic of friendship doesn't just exist in Equestria. It's everywhere. You can seek it out, or you can forever be alone. The choice is yours.” 

“Sonic, can we forgive her, she look really, really sorry.” Cream asked Sonic.

“No Cream, we can’t forgive her. She driven us apart and she doesn’t know a single thing about friendship. I refuse to give her a second chance.” Shadow said to Cream, making her more upset.

“But Shadow, we can teach her a thing or two about friendship. You might not forgiven her yet, but you do want to be friends with her again, right?” Amy told Shadow as he did want to give her another chance

As Cream, Amy, and Twilight helped her get up from the crater, Cream and Cheese gave her a hug her and said, “And know, you’re my new friend Sunset.” Cream smiled as Cheese played around.

“Those are my girls! Woo-hoo!” Spike shouted as some students gave him weird looks.

“Did that dog just talk?” Brawly Beats said, causing Spike to make look dumbfounded.

“Do you people know that you go to school with talking animals that can talk and walk on two legs?” Vector asked Brawly Beats as he realized that asking that question was really dumb.

“Well for one, I think you’re adorable.” Rarity said as she scratch Spike behind the ears.

Principal Celestia walked up to Twilight and spoke, “I believe this belongs to you. A true princess in any world leads not by forcing others to bow before her, but by inspiring others to stand with her. We have all seen that you are capable of just that. I hope you see it too, Princess Twilight.” Principal Celestia said as she give Twilight the crown as the students cheered.

“Would now be a completely awkward time to ask you for that dance?” Flash asked as he put his hand out with a awkward smile.

“Nope. I would love to.” Twilight answered, them turned to her friends and said, “Let’s get this dance again!” Sonic reverted back to his normal self and the emeralds flew off.

“I would love to dance, but I have to find the Chaos Emeralds.” Sonic told Twilight

“Hold It Big Blue! You’re not finding them all by yourself because we’re helping too!” Rouge said the Mobians and Metal Sonic  nodded in agreement as Sonic smiled. They ran off to look for the Chaos Emeralds as the other students continued to dance.

As the students continued dancing, Rainbow Dash picked up Scootaloo and as they flew and hit the disco ball, causing it to change color from the rainbow. Twilight got on all four and danced wildly, causing other students to look at her, including Flash himself, but joined in with Twilight as well. Meanwhile, Tails and Cream flew up to the clouds and collected the yellow emerald, Espio got the purple one in a different building. Sonic and Metal Sonic acquired the blue one from a highway. Vector and Charmy got the light blue one from Sugarcube Corner as a gift from Mr. and Mrs. Cake themselves. Knuckles and Rouge bought the red one from a jewelry store. Mighty and Ray found the green one from the beach. When they came back to the girls to take a group photo, Sunset walked up to Shadow and gave him grey emerald and he handed it to Sonic and our heroes (including Sunset and Metal Sonic) got their photo taken.

After the dance, Twilight, Spike, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy said their goodbyes to their new friends.

“Make sure you guys can keep an eye on them.” Amy said

“Of course we will. Although I do expect some sort of apology for last spring's debacle.” Rarity answered

“I have a feeling she'll be handing out a lot of apologies.” Twilight said as Vice   Principal Luna gave Sunset a Trowel while as Snips and Snails walked in with a wheelbarrow full of bricks. 

Cream flew up to Vice Principal Luna and asked, “Vice Principal Luna. I know it’s Sunset’s responsibility, but can I help her rebuild the doors?” Cream asked as her and Cheese gave her the puppy dog eyes.

“Okay Cream, you and Cheese can help Sunset.” Vice Principal Luna said.

“Can we help too?” Vector asked as the other looked at her and she answered yes and the other helped Sunset, Snips, and Snails.

“We better get going.” Spike said as they headed towards the statue.

Before they left, Sonic called Sunset’s name and tossed a ring to her and said, “You and your new friends should hold on to it as a little gift from us!” Sonic shouted as they walked into the mirror just before time ran out. Pinkie crashed into the mirror as stars and cupcakes spin above her head. The moon shined and the girls pony ears and wings vanished.

Twilight, Spike, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy twirled as sparkle trails followed behind them. Meanwhile in Equestria, the princesses and the Mane 5 were getting worried until Twilight and the others showed up with Twilight standing on her hind legs, but couldn’t keep her balance. Her friends got excited for their return and more excited to see that Twilight got her crown back.

“You’re back! What took you so long Sonic?” Rainbow Dash asked Sonic.

“Well it’s quite the long story.” Sonic said as he rubbed the back of his head.

“I know, You went to a alternate dimension where you met us that can stand on two legs and can walk and change your body and met a rabbit, chao, chameleon, armadillo, flying squirrel, hyperactive bee, a big crocodile, a bat lady, and a hedgehog that looks like Sonic, but isn’t and he’s edgy  and was born in space. And I also forgot that there was a robot version of Sonic and beat him with the positive energy of the Chaos Emeralds.” Pinkie said in one go, causing Tails to fall on the floor. “Is he okay?” Pinkie ask

“H-How did you know” Sonic asked in shock.

“Hm? Just a hunch.” Pinkie squee.

“But what about Sunset Shimmer, is she alright.” Princess Celestia asked

“Yes, and we left her in good hands.” Amy said as she was helping Tails up, causing the other ponies to give her strange looks. “You know these!” Amy said as she pointed at her hand. 

As ponies asked Twilight multiple questions, she told them that she’s exhausted from all the dancing, make them and Cadence surprised. Twilight accidentally bumps into Flash Sentry. 

“We got to stop bumping into each other like that.” Flash said as he helped up Twilight from the floor. “Hey Sonic.” Flash waved to Sonic as the blue hedgehog waved back at him.

“Who is that?” Twilight asked 

“He's a new member of the castle guard. Flash Sentry, I think. Why? Do you know him?” Princess Cadence answered.

“Not exactly.” Twilight said.

“Oooh! Somepony's got a crush on the new guy!” Applejack said as she nudge Twilight’s shoulder.

“No. No, I don't.” Twilight lied 

“Come on Twilight, we were there when we saw you and Flash blushing at each other so you don’t have to lie about it.” Tails told her and she did admit that she has a crush on him.

“Looks like there’s a love triangle between Miles ‘Tails’ Prower, Twilight Sparkle, and Flash Sentry.” Pinkie said in a J.J. Jameson voice, making Tails and Twilight turn red.

“N-No were not Pinkie!” Twilight and Tails said at the same time. 

“You guys have a few things common like you two being eggheads.” Rainbow Dash answered.

“You two like science and math.” Knuckles added.

“And students magic and energy.” Sonic added

“And finally, on this color wheel, yellow and orange are on opposite ends of each other and that means you two are perfect for each other!” Pinkie concludes the theory

“STOP IT! Hey, stop saying the same thing I’m saying. Quit it! This isn’t funny!” Tails and Twilight said at the same thing and turned red again, but they laughed about it and so did their friends.

“Well I’m guessing you four have to leave now...” Fluttershy said as the Mane 6 looked sad that they have to leave again, but suddenly Amy immediately said.

“I say we should stay here. The Freedom Fighters can handle Eggman all by themselves, right guys?” Amy said as Sonic and Tails nodded.

“As much as I don’t like leaving the Master Emerald unguarded, I do like Equestria and Amy’s right, the Freedom Fighters can handle things we normally do.” Knuckles said as the 10 of them, including Spike gave a group hug.
