> Fall Of One Academy, Rise Of Another. > by Neutral Boy > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Prologue: Wilted peace. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unity Academy, a place where a bunch of people born with Quirks, Aura, Semblance, Angels, Devils, Peerage, Chakra, Ki, and others attend in classes. This Academy's Headmasters & teachers help each of these young generation heroes to educate, learn, combat, and protect civilians from harm against the monsters, villains, and corrupted heroes. Every civiliain, cops, military, and business appreciated. However, no one around has witness what goes on inside Unity Academy. A student who wasn't born with any Quirk, Semblance, Ki, or others has transferred in the academy. At first everything seems great to him, making friends, learning about the abilities of heroes, watching the combat classes, and many more experience in his classes. Then, things started to change when several serious problems occur. One is that all the students's paper works were missing, two is secret privacy exposed to everyone, three is bus tour trips cancelled, reports of robberies & wreckage inside each of the stores, finally there's paints of graffiti words & racist ones on every teacher and headmaster offices. An investigation went on, but there hasn't been any lead or clues of the hidden culprit. Most of the young heroes think it was the non-ability student who did it. The accused student told everyone including his teachers and headmasters that he wasn't the culprit and doesn't have any grudges or motives to ruin UA's society. Alas, no one have believed his story, except for some of his friends who believed him. Since then, his whole life at Unity Academy grown from bad to worse as he's constantly getting picked on, bullied, abused, neglected, and so on. Even his journals and his hard working study works were torn to shreds by those jerks who want him out of the academy. His friends try to help, but were either pushed aside or threatened to not go near him as he's helplessly dragged into one of the combat classes and brutally getting beaten up. Before his unfortunate demise came, a big aftershock rumbles across all over the academy as the alarm bell is heard. Multiple unidentified anomalies were spotted outside the academy grounds circling in a 360. The defenses outside were activated and an emergency has commence, ordering all available heroes to aid the defensive line and help evacuate the students. All the students who were in the combat arenas have fled and proceed to grab anything the need. Neither of the young heroes have notice a figure in the combat arena has picked up the injured student and both have teleport out of the academy. Back outside, the defensive turrets and cannons continue to fire at the enemies. Only to just slow them down as they move forward. The elite heroes arrive and to defeat the enemies, but it wasn't enough to stop their halt. Most of the anomalies have broken the defensive lines and begin to slaughter the fleeing teaches and students. Headmasters Ozpin, Glynda, Ironwood, Sirzeck, Minato, All-Might, and the rest were barely able to fend off the ones from entering. Surprisingly, the villains faction led by All-For-One, Orochimaru, and Salem have arrive to clear a big line of enemies and telling everyone to evacuate now if they want to live. Regretfully, the heroes agree and made a temporary truce as everyone evacuated from the academy. Dozens of heroes and villains were being killed by those powerful anomalies. Everyone made it out and away safely, but all of them were helpless to watch the anomalies tear down the whole Unity Academy completely apart. Once that was done, the anomalies made loud unknown noises and separated before disappearing out of sight. 3 months in the aftermath of a tragic event, the news have spread on around the world and no one mustn't allow to enter the ruined academy, stating there's a possible radiation or plague with no way to remove it. Worse, reports that the same anomalies are attacking multiple cities. All of the heroes and villains were put into questioning, but only some were answered and the rest are avoided. Some of the young heroes even quit on becoming a hero no longer and either go back home or joining the villains faction, despite the others trying to reconsider. The ones who quit and went back to their homes broke down into tears for not being able to help the bullied student and thinking he either died at the academy's collapse or the anomalies killed him. Back at the ruins of Unity Academy, two female figures are seen levitating above the ruins. The first has red eyes, and long blonde hair tied into twin tails with black ribbons. She wears a black knee-length gothic-themed dress with bell sleeves and a matching skirt. Over this she wears a shawl in the same color as her dress. A large red ribbon sits in the front of the dress with white frills under both the skirt and the sleeves. Underneath the dress, she wears a sleeveless white ruffled shirt, a matching set of white bloomers and a pair of large, black, knee high, heel-less platform boots with red laces. The dress has a prominent cross motif with red crosses with a white outline appearing on several parts, specifically adorning the hem of the sleeves, the front of the skirt and on the shawl. The second one has her hair royal purple hue that reaches down to her lower back. Her eyes are also a crimson red with many black circles layering them. Her attire is like that of an empress as she wears an elegant golden headdress with a golden band to keep her hair in place. She wears a white kimono with elongated sleeves, and a red and yellow skirt that reaches down to her feet. Around her waist she wears a cyan bow while also wearing a black cape over her entire body; said cape has multiple purple bands reaching around her figure, complementing the royal attire. "A shame this once peaceful Academy have fallen so quickly." The twin haired girl says. "Indeed, though I do mostly blame the ones who allow this chaotic mess to happen." The purple haired girl said. "Your quite right, but whatever happen to the boy you rescued before the collapse?" "I manage to put him in a different world to a safe place close by another academy. I did heal his injuries, but it'll take a long while before his whole scars are also healed." The twin haired blonde girl raised an eyebrow at her. "Are you certain it's wise to Izanami, after what has happened inside Unity Academy?" "Not to worry Rachel, I have given the task for my trustful companions to watch over and protect the boy. Also I added in some transfer papers for him to be accepted. We'll go sometime to see how his health and progress is doing. For now, we better go look for our missing allies." "I hope you know what you're doing Izanami." "As do I Rachel Alucard, as do I." Meanwhile. . . Inside a building that's called Starswirl Academy, a woman who has shining beautiful long hair is currently in her principal office filing out some paperwork and putting mail junk in her trash can. *knock knock knock* "Come in!" The principal's door opens up to reveal a uniformed girl with green eyes holding a sheet of papers. Her appearance is she's wear a NOL uniform, which consists of a blue beret with a metal plate that she ties her hair into and a sleeveless blouse that reaches down over her thighs, and bares her shoulders and upper back in a V-shape. The sides of the blouse are blue while the front and back are white, and there is black lining around the seams. Two diamond-shaped silver pieces hang on the bottom of the blouse. She also wears a detached white collar with a red tie, and blue, detached sleeves that are a little longer over the shoulder, with black cuffs that hang over her hands. Yellow trim lines the sleeves' upper and lower hems, and they are held in place by a silver metal armband pushed up to her upper arm. Each armband has clipped to a ring on it, a red ribbon with a triangular metal tip. She wears white gloves with gold on the back, black, thigh-high socks, and blue, tucked-in, heeled boots with white lining. The boots have gold trimmings, a yellow cross on the anterior, and a silver metal tip on the toes. "Greetings, I am Principal Celestia, head of Starswirl Academy. Who might you be?" Celestia smiled. "I'm Noel Vermillion, nice to meet you." Noel says offering a shake and Celestia shook her hand. "Likewise Noel, say what are papers you have? You wish to transfer here?" Noel made a nervous sheepish smile and scratches her left cheek. "W-Well it's sort of. . . . . c-complicated." Noel hands the papers over to Celestia. "You see, me and my sisters aren't actually wanting to transfer here. It's for a former student that we're guardians of. Unfortunately, he can't make it here in person because of some serious problems at his former academy. So we have orders from our leader to be guardians and protectors to help treat him well so that his wounds could heal." Principal Celestia read on the papers that Noel gave her. "I'll see what I can do. Although, it's still summer time and all the students are enjoying their summer vacation. It won't be until two and a half months for the academy to be open. This should give you and your sisters enough time to help him out." Noel's eyes widen as she immediately went behind Celestia's desk and lifted her up before hugging her tightly and spinning around. "OH THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH!" She then let go of Celestia and gasp when her memory forgot something as she checked her watch. "Oh my gosh, I forgot to get some groceries! I better get going, see ya later Principal Celestia!" Noel quickly bows and runs off by opening & closing the door behind her. Celestia meanwhile felt dizzy and shakes her head to get her eyes back. "Jeez, this Noel girl reminds me of my little Lulu." She giggles. Principal Celestia looks back at the paperwork and ponders for a moment to think. "Hmmmmm, guess I better go call make a quick call." She pulls out her cell and dials numbers on it as someone picks up on the other side. "Hello, is this Mrs. Velvet? Yes, it's been a while. Listen, I have a little request if you don't mind." > Chapter 1: Dreams and long recovery. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Inside a home at day time that Noel owns, two young girls are both cleaning up the place, making sure each things are in order, shelving the items in cabinets, and also checking on an unconscious former student. The first girl wore a blue jumpsuit, long tied silver hair, left red eye, and bandaged right eye. The second girl wears a black jumpsuit, cloak cape that is divided into three cloves is black, white, and yellow, long tied light blond hair, and her eyes are red. "Has everything been cleaned up, Lamba?" The silver hair girl asked, washing the dishes. "Affirmative Nu-13, all the chores are finished." Lambda answered, carrying a box. When the two girls are finishing up, they heard someone knocking at the door. *knock* *knock* *knock* "The doors unlocked!" Nu-13 shouted. A girl figure opens up the door and closes it before going into the living room. While waiting and sitting on the couch, her appearance is that she has short white or silver and blue eyes. Her outfit generally consists of a green vest and skirt over a white undershirt with several ghost insignia's along the edges of the skirt and one on the breast pocket of the vest. She wears a black bow-tie and hairband with black ribbon tied off-center in her hair. She also carries a long katana with a large white tassel on the handle and a short sword. Lambda puts away a loaded box and sees someone sitting on a couch. "Youmu Konpaku, it's been a while since I last saw you." Youmu turns her head and smiles to Lambda. "Likewise, I see that you and Nu-13 are already having finish up tidying this place." "We made sure to take some shifts before Noel get back. So how about you? Any news yet?" Youmu frowns and turns her head away. "Not good actually, our once good homes we have lived in are gone by those enemies. Many of my friends are scattered into different places and some of them were helplessly captured. We tried many times to contact the heroes, but I'm certain you know how that turned out. Everyone in the higher ups are trying their best to maintain order, yet it's not good enough to cease this chaotic mess." There's some silence as she wanted to change the subject. "Speaking of shifts, how is the former student?" "He's still out cold for days. We don't know on when he'll wake up." Youmu rubs her chin and ponders until she had an idea. "If it's alright, I'll keep an eye on him before my friends can come find me here." "Of course, as long as you have something to prevent Nu from going inside his room. Most of the time, it's always her turn shift to keep an eye on him. Though I'm not sure why exactly." Nu-13 joined the two with a pout look on her face. "Awww Lambda! I thought it was my turn to watch over him~!" She whined. "You already did too many times. Just let a few people take shifts until it's your turn. In the meantime however, how about we go check on the list of games you would like to play?" ". . . Oh fine, but don't expect me to get all very invested on playing." "Don't worry Nu, I promise to not watch him longer than you have." Youmu smirked. "HMPH!" Nu huffed and looked away from her. While Lambda guide Nu-13 to the games list, Youmu got off the chair and walks over to one of the rooms. When she got there, she sighs before opening the door and sees the former student sleeping on a bed. Youmu gently closes the door behind her and walks by the side of the bed. She grabs a chair by her and sits down while taking off her two weapons and puts them by the bed. "Hey, it's bee a long while since I last saw you." She whispers. She puts her right hand on top of his left hand as her eyes were leaking of some tears. "I'm very sorry I went away for too long and for not protecting you when you've been hurt all these years ago. I swear, I'll do whatever I can to make up to you and be by your side. No matter if you decide to ignore me or push me away, I won't leave you again." She sniffs. In the hours passed by, Youmu went to sleep beside him. Unbeknownst to her, he didn't have pleasant dreams as he have been in mostly bad ones that he didn't want to think about, yet it still replays back and forth. "Mommy? Daddy?" "It's not safe here. We need to get you to a safer place." . . . . . "Please, your not think straight. Just put the knife down and we can-" "SHUT UP MEI! You all have no idea of what I've been through!" "Careful Kaede, don't get too close." "Why? Why is it the ones I cared for and loved have to die like this?" "Girls, I got it!" "GIVE IT BACK!" "NO! I won't let you kill yourself or hurt anyone! You need to calm down and let us help you!" "I. . .I-I. . ." "It's okay, I'm so sorry on what happen to you." ". . . *sob I-I'm sorry Fuko, Mei, Kaede, everyone." "There, there, just let it all out. I'll always care for you and help cheer you up." . . . . . "Why?" "My own potential future is just nothing, but a lying sack of crap." "It's all their own fault. The students, teachers, headmasters, all of them." "I hate everyone of them. . ." "DAMN YOU UNITY ACADEMY! I HOPE ONE DAY ALL OF YOU WILL BURN IN HELL!" The former student gasps in awake of sweat. He had to control his breathing before calming down and wiping the sweat off his head. A lot of thoughts were in his head and he didn't on how long was he out or why he's in bed. "I see that you're finally awake." A voice spoke. He paused on hearing a familiar voice. Turning his head right, he saw a girl beside the bed. She has brown eyes and blonde hair tied up in a bun with a ribbon. She wears a black and brown dress that's poofy under the waist, some black shoes with white socks, and a yellow ribbon tied around her lower body. "Y-Yamame, is that you? Please tell me I'm not hallucinating." "I am real, it's been a long time, Kent." Yamame said smiling. "How? H-How are you. . ." He didn't finish his words as Yamame gently grabs the back of his head with her hands and hugs him by putting his head in her breasts. Feeling that she's very real, he began to sob in her chest while Yamame gently rubs his head and back. "Shhhh, I'm here now. Just let it all out. I'm not going anywhere." She cooed to him in comfort. "Yamame? K-Kent?" Yamame looked to see Youmu already having tears in her eyes. She gestured in a small group hug and Youmu gladly accepts it as she got on the bed and hugged Kent's back. He blushed a bit of having both his head and back mushed by Yamame and Youmu, but he didn't care right now. He felt relieved both of them are still alive in one piece. Elsewhere in an unknown area. . . A dark figure in a magic red circle is talking to someone via mirror reflection portal. "Here is your new objective." A scroll is summoned and pushed into the mirror. "I can easily get through, but it'll be more difficult without alerting them." "Not to worry, I have given you several interesting toys in case they do resist." "Very well, I shall be off for now and wait until it's time to strike." The mirror reflection is turned off as it disappears. "Those foolish mortals, devils, angels, factions, governments, and gods have no idea on what's about to come. Soon, this shall be marked as the beginning of the end, for all the sins of innocents and guilty alike." The figure made a cackling low laugh as it teleport off to somewhere. A minute later, three more figures have arrived to the spot. "Dammit we're too late. Looks like they got done before heading off." "Should we go and inform the headmaster council?" "No, they lost our mutual trust long ago. Let them deal with this disgusting mess they've done from bothering a large enemy hornet's nest. For now, we need to rendezvous with Patchouli, Ran, Momiji, and the rest waiting for us." "As you wish." "Right away boss."
