Prologue

Javelin of Light

Cerilio was busy polishing his silver lance in his room in Arianrhod. It was a week ago that the imperial army capture the Silver Maiden, and he was ordered to stay behind to help with ocupation force. Not the most pleasent order he tought was given to him since he wanted to end this war as fast as possible. And, acording to him, the only way he tought that he was going to end this war was to be at the frontline.

It was five years ago that emperor Edelgard declared war on the church of Seiros and as predicted the Leicester Alliance, well those who were against the empire, and the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus came to the aid of the church. For the past five years it was a stalemate, no side could have could have make a breakthrough trough the other but, everything changed when the emperors professor returned. Who would have tought that the just his return, changed the tide of the war in an instant.

First came the Alliance. The fall of Derdriu came swift after the capture of the great bridge of Myrddin. The way that professor, now general, Einser planned the strategies was just briliante. How does he know that you ask, well Cerilio himself was part of the main assault. Although he was a holy knight and a holy knight was suppose to only support the army as healers and carry few faith spell and a lance for self defence, his talent in reason magic was so good that it cought the eyes of the general. He was kept as a holy knight due to his recovery spells and he his Seraphim and Abraxas spells, but he was thought reason magic. He learned wind and blizzard for basic spells, Thoron for the range, Excalibar for when he had to deal with flying units and finaly Fimbulvert. Even tho Fimbulvert was not very accurate it could be critical if it hit so he decided to go with that.

After the fall of the alliance the Knights of Seiros launched a suprise attack in order to try retake their beloved monastery. The attack was repelled but not without its losses. In that battle they lost two of their best generals. Cerilio was also hit hard by that battle, he lost four of his best friends. While he was defending the monastery, his four friends where sent to with the main force under general Ladislava. Two days later they fond their bodies. From that moment on his view of the war changed. He was no longer just fighting for a better future and the ideals of the emperor, but also to avenge his fallen friends.

While he was polishing his lance a knock came on his door.

''You can come in,'' he said. In came his second in command and one of his remaining friend he had left.

''Hey I just came to tell you that a report just came in. It says that we are heading to Fhirdiad next month.''

''Its about time," Cerilio says.

''Hey its been only a week since we capture this place. Don't you think the men here and at the monastery also need a break? I thought you also needed a break from the fighting?" Cerilio's friend says to him.

His friend was right, he needed a break. All the fighting was taking a toll on him. Even tho his goal was to avenge his friends, he could not denied that he needed a break. It was with this reason that general Einser, even the emperor, told him to stay behind. While he was being thought by the general the emperor also took intrest in him. They became friends and then he told her his other reason why he fights the war.

''And besides,'' his friend continues, ''there is a possiblity that we may get intersepted. Where? I don't know but my bet is on the Tailtean plains.'' The Tailtean Plains. He has heard of it, who hasn't? There was where Saint Seiros defeated the Fell king Nemesis almost a thousend years ago.

''If thats true, then i think thier hoping for a miracle. While Seiros defeated Nemesis back then, its now us deafting the church that carries her name. Oh the irony,'' Cerilio says with a grin.

''Huh. Now that you mention it, it does feel like that. But I don't know, what if that miracle does come true? What if they some how defeat us and we never reach Fhirdiad?'' his friend expresses with worry in his words.

''Hey, don't be scared, ever since general Einser came back we had nothing but victory after victory. There is a reason why the emperor puts her trust in him. Everything will be find, just like always. We will make a breaktrough and pushed them all the way to the kingdom capital, capture the city, kill the archbishop and win the war,'' Cerilio expresses with full confidance.

''Anyway," he continues, "instead of stay here stiting and keep worrying about what's to come, why don't we had out to the bar and have something to drink, maybe get something to eat along the way.''

His friend looks a little bit skeptical. The locals weren't exactly friendly with troops occuping Arainrhod. The people of the kingdom were very loyal to their king, it would take the death of their king for them to stop resisting. Even tho, in Cerilio's opinion, king Dimtri wasn't the most stable king the people still followed him loyaly, something that anoyed him a little.

''I don't know, you know the locals aren't friendly with us. I'll say they down right hate us. and I don't know about you but I don't want to get killed by a bunch of filfty peasents,'' his friend exclaim. His friend just reminded him of one other reason he was also fighting this war. His friend always looked up to the nobility and dreamt of one day becoming one, even tho thats next to imposible. And even after the emperor told him and his friend secretly that she wanted to do away with the nobility, he still looks up to them.

''Ugh, could you like, not act like your so highso. You know that after the war the emperor will do away with the nobility, right? Hell its one of the reason were fighting this war. The nobility and crest system is bs and you know that that the church encourged the system instead of fixing it. I think its one of the reason that all Fodland was declining in the years before the war,'' Cerilio ranted.

''Wow man calm down, I know that the old system is crap, but lets say that even if the nobility is gone there will still be high society. There will still be rich people, the emperor wants to get rid of the nobility and crest and want people to rise up to that status based on their hard work, not bloodline. And thats what I'm planning to do after the war,'' his friend defended.

Before Cerilio can argue something back his friend decided to change the subject.

"Anyways let's not keep bickering between our self shall we? By the way you never told me what you wanted to do after the war anyways. So care to tell me now, you know since were here?

Seeing his friend's point he looks at down and thinks. What did he wanted to do after the war? Travel? Find a girl and get married? Start a family? Well the traveling option seems kinda nice. And who knows, maybe he'll meet a future wife along the way.

"Well I always wanted to travel around the world. Maybe go to Brigid or Almayra or even Dagda. Who knows, maybe I'll meet a nice girl along the way.''

"You? Get married?" his friends says with a amused face. "I highly doubt that. When was the last time you ask somebody out? Beside you know, that I know, that your not type of guy to attract women.''

"Well atleast I admit it. You on the other hand, has the either get slap or get a sword pointed at you for you to back off, hell you even try to go after Dorothea, Dorothea, who we all knew lord Ferdinand was after, hell I even had to come to your aid to prevent him form doing something to you,'' Cerilio says while trying his best not to laugh.

''Ugh you still can't let that go?'' his friend says with a glare. Cerilio just tries his best not to laugh before he can't anymore and breaks down laughing at the memory. After a few seconds he stops, puts his lance to the side and starts walking to the door.

"Anyways, I don't know about you but I'm going to the bar, you coming or not?''

"No go ahead, I'm just gonna go and head to my room. I was planning to just delivere the message and head there, maybe take a quick rest to prepare for my night watch.''

"Ok no problem, thanks by the way. Its been a while since we just talked to each other like this. Take care.''

"Yeah its been good to just chat with you. Don't go hard on that liquor."

After they said the farewells Cerilio head out to the local bar. While on the route he kept getting glares from the locals, some even shouted at him telling how he and the entire imperial amry will face judgement from the goddess or something like that. He didnt care and just ignored it, but just to be safe he maked sure he had his silver sword with him just in case some of the people became to hostile.

He reached the bar and entered. There were few soldier there, some were already drunk.

Good gracious, you give them them some extra gold because they did most of the fighting and what to they do with? They go and get drunk he thought to himself.

He sighed and just went to the bartender. He knows that its not in his place to tell them what to and not to do. THey weren't part of his battalion. Their commander will find out one way or another and take action. As long as they don't bother him he didn't worry.

He continue his walk to the bar table and as he nears it the bartenders hears his steps coming closer.

''How can I can he- oh its just one of you people,'' the bartender says, his mood changing from bright to sour after seeing him.

''Hey, be gratefull. Atleast we tried to keep casualty to a minimum, we even let the soldiers who surrenderd to go back to thier family,'' Cerilio says. He knows that his words might not changed his mind but atleast he tries. In the alliance some of the citizens believed him so it was worth a shot.

''Whatever, just tell me what you want and we can get this over with,'' the bartender says.

Huh, I expected some speech about how we are liars and killers. Not that I'm complaining, hell better this than the speech Cerilio thought. I think some cider will be enough, I don't think I want to make him more angrier if I took something to strong and get drunk by accident.

Before he could answer the guy there was a loud explosion

"What the hell was that?!" he shouts.

He quickly went outside to see whats going on. People were screaming all round, even some of the soldiers were starting to panic. Then he saw light in the sky decending on the Silver Maiden and before he knew it he heard another explosion follow by a feeling of intense heat.

After that everything went dark.

Part One

White Clouds

Awakening

Cerilio felt he was drifting through an endless void. He tried to look around him but only saw darkness surround him.

So, this is what it feels like when you die? he thought.

Then a voice started to speak to him. For him, it sounded like a young girl.

''You, how long do you intend to sleep? Your body is awake. Yours eyes must open now, and you must find the strenght to stand upon those legs of yours. The world of the living still has its needs for you,'' it said.

Cerilio did not recognize the voice, but decided to listen to it and try to stand up. once he was on his feet, he took a look around him again and this time he did saw something. It was person sitting on a stone throne. She looked like a child, wearing blue regalia, had green hair that looked a bit messy in his opinion and had a necklace with a symble that looked familiar to him.

''Ah good, you finaly woke up. it was about time, I thought you would just kept on sleeping forever,'' she said sounding a bit annoyed.

What does she mean? I can't recall ever going to sleep. The last thing I remember is...

He forze. It all came rushing back to him, like someone splashed water in his face. He was at Arienrhod when the explosion started to happen, the panic of the people around him. Then everything went dark and now he's here for some reason

''Where am I?! Who are you?! Why am I here?! What happen to me?!" He wanted answers. He wanted to know what happend to him. Did he died or did he survive and was just having one of the most realistic dreams he ever had.

''Barely awake and the first thing you do is shout at me?! Honestly, talk about being ungratefull," she says, now looking more annoyed then ever. "Look I'm going to answer all of you question if you don't shout at me again, understood?''

Cerilio just nodded and waited for her to answer his questions. What did she meant about being ungratefull?

"Look, its not going to be easy to tell you since what happend before you ended up here. You do remember what happen, right?''

''I remember some of it. There were explosion happing all around, the people were panicking, then I saw a light fall from the sky. Then I heard another explosion follow by an intense heat. After that everything went dark and now I'm here," Cerilio told the girl.

"Well in truth, you were about to die, then I pulled you here in so you wouldn't die. But then you fell into a deep sleep and didn't woke up for seven years. You took more time to heal then a certain blue haired teacher," the girl explained.

Wait wait wait did she just say SEVEN YEARS?! "D-did...did you just say that...that I was asleep for...seven whole years?" Cerilio asked, making sure he heard her corectly.

"Yup, seven years straight."

He couldn't believe it. As much as he tried to he couldn't believed it. He felt like time just stop, as if everything around him stopped

Seven. Seven whole YEARS I was asleep. Did we win the war? Was all I fought hard for in vain? Does the general or the emperor know that I'm here? Did... He had some many more quetion he wanted answer for. Seeing his reaction to the news, the girl try to reassured him.

"If you are wondering, the Empire won the war. Rhea was slain and your friends have been avenge. Yes, I know your other reason why you fought in the war. But thats not why I brought you here. The reason i brought here is because there is a world that needs your help and I'm planning on sending you there. If your willing to go that is."

Cerilio was knocked out of his early shock and was now more confused.

"Why me? Why me of all people? I'm just a mere holy knight that just followed order and fought where ever they send me. I have no crest, I have no special talent, I'm just a commander like any other. Couldn't you just sent someone else? Someone whose more qualified for the job? I was planning on relaxing after war. You know I lost four of my best friends, maybe even all them after what happend at Arienrhod, and now your planning on sending me to an unknow world? And heaven forbid that I have to fight there as well" he told her.

The girl just glared at him for a moment then calm down and smiles sadly at him.

''Your right, for five years you fought a war, for five years you saw your fellow soldier get killed. And then your friends were taken away from you. The only ones who treated you like the brother they, and you, never had. I know you see yourself as unqualified and just as a regular commander. But the reason why I'm sending you is because there is alot in you that you don't see in yourself. And I know that in this world you'll have to fight sometime, but I'm not sending you just to fight, but to start over, to make knew friends and most importantly to start a new life," the girl explained to him.

Cerilio was in deep thought. True, most of his life wasn't the best. His mother and father weren't the best of parents. For the most part, the army felt more like a family then his real family. They were the one who helped him with basic stuff. They were the ones who thought him how to read and write because he wasn't of noble birth so the ones that were, and that agreed with the emperor ideals, tought him. And they were the ones who took care of him and was by his side whenever he was depressed. But then the war happend. Even tho he was all for it, the five brutal years made him questioned the purpose of the war alot. If it wasn't for his friends, the emperor, his fellow soldiers and general Einser, he would of deserted long time ago.

After some thinking he decided to go to this world. Maybe this new world would offer him what Fodland could not, a better life.

"Okay, I'll go. Fódlan wasn't the best time of my life, but maybe this world could offer me a better life. By the way you never told me where you sending me. so care to tell me?" he said

''Oh excellent. Where I'm sending is a world very different from Fodland so be prepared to be suprised. I would tell everything about said world but were is the fun in that? Maybe when youn have settle in."

Cerilio just rolled his eyes at what she said.

Great, send me to a world you know something of but leave me in the dark because its 'fun'.

"But," the girl continued, "you will learn more spell there. I'm sending with all the known spells in Fodland so be prepared to learn more. And just a heads up, they also use magic in that world but its very different. Also expect some weapons when you arrives. Now then, with everything settle, are you ready?"

Cerilio inhaled deeply, then exhaled.

"Okay, I'm ready now. Wait I never got your name.''

''You may call me Sothis. But now is time to go. I wish you all the best and take care of yourself," Sothis told him with a smile.

Before he could say something back, darkness surrounded him again and before he knew Sothis was nowhere to be seen.

Thank you, thank you for giving me a second chance. I wont let you and the people of this new world down, I promise you Sothis

Cerilio felt a sharp pain on his back. That made him open his eyes and see where he was. He was in a large forrest, sorrounded by trees that blocked everything, even the sun itself. He lean forward to take a look at his surrounding. After few second he spotted a few thing that he recognized at first glanced. There was a silver lance, a silver sword, a Levin sword and a magic bow with arrows laying infornt of him. There were also three book infront of him. He got up and grab the first book. It had a white cover and the title was 'All faith magic and how to propely cast them'. He cringed at the title.

Next came a book with red as it cover color. It had almost the exact title as the white one but it was for reason magic. Last came a dark purple covered book. This came at a suprise to him since the this one was for dark magic. While he witness dark magic being cast he never thought himself of using it.

So this is what Sothis meant when she said that I will learn all of Fodland magic. Heh, I never thought I'll be able learn all of this since in the army it was five per each. But I wonder what kind of magic this world have to offer and if I can learn it. he tought to himself

After that he picked up the books and put them in a bag that was conveniently next to them he walked to the weapons. There were sheaths for the two swords so he put them on his waist. He grab the arrows and bow and put it on his back. Then he garb the lance and started to walk in the direction infront of him.

Ok I need to find the nearest place that has civilation, but first a river. Boy seven years of sleep does make a man thirsty as hell. He walked for half an hour in the forest before he started to the hear a current flow of water. He began to follow this sound and before he knew it, he was infront of a river. He bent down and before he took a sip, he stared at his reflection. He still had his brown hair and eyes. His armor was the same as any holy knight in the army, silver colored and with a bright scarlet cape. But something did capture his atention. On his chestplate there was a banner that he did not recognized. It was baby blue with stars all around the edges. In the middle was the double headed eagle he knew of the empire but it had two pegasus with horn circling it. One was white, the other was dark blue.

After looking at the banner for some minute he decided to shrug it of and grab some water in his hand and started drinking. He did not expect the water to be so fresh. Sure the rivers in Fodland weren't dirty, but it wasn't as clean as this world.

Before he could drink some more, he heard a very loud scream. It sounded like a child was being attacked. Whitout any hesitation he dashed to where he heard the scream coming from. As he runned towards the scream, it became more and more clearer, indicating he was heading in the right direction. When he arrived at the scene, he couldn't believe what he saw

There he saw five wolf like creatures made of wood surrounding something. He couldn't make out what they were surrounding but didn't matter to him because the screams of the child came from there.

Is this what Sothis meant when she said that this world was different from Fodland? We never had this type of monsters.

Quickly, his right hand began to glow with magic. Then after a few second he throws the Seraphim at one of the monster. Upon impact, the wolf like creature disintegrates. The remaining wood creatures quickly turn their attention to their new enemy. Cerilio quickly identifies the leaders and begans again to prepare another spell. The wolves stared at him for few minutes before they went to attack him but before one of them could reach him, it was blasted by another Seraphim spells.

''Not bad, not bad at all for a couple a wood creators, but now its my turn,'' he says while smirking at them. He grab his lance and slash it through another of the wolf, destroying it instently. Then, seting his site on the leader of the pack, he pierced the lance in to the ground and unsheated his silver sword and dashed for it. While he runned at the leader, he began to put his magic into the blade and the blade started to glowed yellow.

''Your fight ends here!'' he shoutes, then sliced his sword against the wolf. The wolf was blown to bits after the slice. He glares at the remaing wolves.

''Leave. Now,'' he says in a menacing voice. The wolves, to afriad at what just happend, began to run away from him.

He sighs and look at the place where they had their victim surrounded. He sees yellow fily just staring at him in both shock and fear. He just kept looking at the filly

Seriously? I went through all that trouble just safe a filly? Or did a child accompanied the filly before running away?

"Um, w-w-what are y-ye?'' the filly asked.

Cerilio just froze, did that filly just talked?!

"D-d-did you just....talked?!"

Cerilio was till shocked, the filly just talked, something that in Fodland wasn't possibe

Okay Sothis I know you said to be ready to be suprised but I think I'm beyond that now. You sent me to a world with talking horses?!

"Are you okay, you look kinda pale," the filly asked him.

"Y-y-yes I'm fine, just a bit shoked. You see where I come from horses don't talk."

"Were ponies and did say your not from here?"

"No I'm form another world all together. I was sent here."

"So your an alien?"

Seeing that this can go forever and it was getting dark he decided to it was best if they continued the conversation as thet try to find a way out of the forest. "Hey listen, it's getting dark and we don't want to keep your family, I presume you have one, worrying about you. Why don't I tell you about myself and you tell me about this world on the way? Also whats your name?"

"Mah name is Apple Bloom, whats yours?"

"The names Cerilio and I'm what you would call a human. And to answer your last question, no I'm not an 'alien'. I don't even know what that means."

"Well Cerilio, hehe wierd name, thank you for saving mah life from those Timberwolves. During the fight Ah saw you use something. Was that magic?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Yes, I did use magic. And for the record Apple Bloom is a wierd name from where I come from, but let's be on our way," Cerilio told her.

"Okay Ah can do that. Lets get go- ow ow ow," Apple Boom was about to say something but was cut off bt a sharp pain in her left front leg.

"Are you okay?" Cerilio asks with worry.

"Mah front leg. It-it was scratch by one of those monster and now it hurts alot," Apple Bloom said, trying to her best not to cry at the pain.

"Okay lay down and show me your injured leg." Apple Bloom did what she was told to do. Cerilio took at look at it and saw the cut. It wasn't to deep but still he could see why it was hurting her. "Okay now hold still, I'm hoing to use some healing magic on it but you must not move it till i'm done with it."

After Cerilio finished intructing her, he closed his eyes and began to concetrate. His hand began to glow white with magic and the wound on the filly slowly began to heal. Apple bloom was just shocked. First her savior was able to cast some wierd magic she never saw before and now here he was also healing her injured leg.

What type of magic is he using? Ah mean, Ah don't know much about magic but Ah never seen nopony with this type healing of magic. Apple Bloom thought to herself.

After a few minutes, Cerilio was done with healing her leg. She looked at it and what you know? The wound was gone and she didn't feel anymore pain.

"There, all healed up. Now with that out of the way why don't we start heading to your home? Your family must be worry sick about you, lets not let them keep worrying about shall."

After regaining herself, she nods and began to follow him. Cerilio sheated his sword and walked towards his lance and grabbed it. Then they started to walk to find the main path out of the forest. At first it was quite between them, but then Cerilio remembered that he needed to know more about this world.

"So," Cerilio finaly said, "what is this placed called anyways? And are ponies the only species that live here or are there others?

"Well, this place is called Equestria and no ponies aren't the only ones that live here. We have dragons, minotaurs and many other. And we ponies are divided by three types. There are earth ponies, like mah-self, that have really good strength and can control the ground and make things grow. There are pegasus that have wing and could fly and control the weather and unicorns that can use magic. There is also alicorns but there are only one that ah know and she is the princess," Apple Bloom tried to explain at best she could.

Cerilio took a moment to think about what the filly just explained to him. Not only did these ponies use magic, but they also control the weather and the land, something the best of mages in the empire tried to do but never could, or so he was told.

Is it magic that allows them to controle the weather and the land or something else? And what is an 'alicorn'?

"You said you have a princess, but do you have a king, queen or emperor? And what are 'alicorns'?"

"Well Ah don't know much about alicorns. The only thing Ah know is that they have wings and a horn and they could use magic. And no, we don't have a king or a queen or an emperor. Princess Celestia is the one who rules over us and is the one who raises the sun and the moon."

Cerlio was once again shocked. Back in Fódlan he learned that the sun and the moon moved by themselves. Aperently in this world, that was not the case. He began to wonder just how many more times this world was going to shock him.

"So let me get this straight. Not only is your princess the ruler of the land but she also moves the sun and moon?!"

"Yup," responded the filly as if it was nothing beyond ordinary.

"Okay I'm just gonna stop questoning this world logic for now, I don't think my head will be able to process everything this world has to show me in one go."

"You said you were going to tell me about your magic. What type of magic was that?"

"Well in my world there are two types of magic. Theres faith, or white, magic that are use for either healing or other support roles. Then we have reason which can be divided by two catergories, black and dark, but both of them are for attack. There are four attack magic in faith and the one you saw me use is one of them."

Apple Bloom was listening with lots a of interest and curiosity. Even tho she was an earth pony, seeing another species that wasn't an unicorn use magic intrigeud her. And all the type of magic she never even heard before.

"Very intresting. Ah'm no unicron but just listsing to the types of magic that you have in your world is most fascinating. But Ah can't help but to notice your armor, were you part of the royal gaurd in your world?" she asked.

"No, I was not part of the royal gaurd, I was in the army as a commander and I'm a holy knight.

"'Holy knight'?"

"Yes, we are thought faith magic and how to use a lance in case the enemy came to close.

"Oh, Ah see." They continued to walk and chat for about half an hour before they came to the egde of the forest. When they came out the forest, Cerilio saw a huge farm with apple trees as far as he could see.

"We're here. Sweet Apple Acres," Apple Bloom said

"So this where you live? Its quite the farm you ponies have," Cerilio said. He never saw farm this big back in Fodland. His train of thought was interrrupted by someone's shout that came from the farm.

"Apple Bloom! Were have you been?! We've been looking all over...for...you," said a orange pony, its eyes falling on him when it saw him. By the look of i, it was a mare and it had a wierd hat on her and had three apple symbols on her flank. First she confused when she saw him but then began to glare at him, ready to attack him. Seeing this, he grit his lance tighter and got ready for any sudden movement.

"What are you and what did you did with mah sister?!" She shouted at him.

"Applejack wait you don't understand, he saved me from some Timberwolves that came to attack me!" Apple Bloom said, standing infornt of him as a way to defend him from her.

"Toimberwolves?! What were you doing in the Everfree Forest in the first place?!" the orange pony said to Apple boom.

"Ah got bored so Ah decided to go and walk for a bit but then before Ah know it Ah was lost in the Everfree and got surrounded by Timberwolves. If it wasn't for him Ah would have been eaten by them," Apple Bloom explained to the pony.

"Is this true?" she asked Cerilio. He confirmed it with a nod, but still held his lance in a thight hold just in case she didn't believed him and attcaked him.

"Well, Ah know when somepony is lying and Ah can see that you aren't. I'm sorry that Ah shouted at you and thanks for saving mah sister but Ah never seen a creature like you. So cared to explained?" the pony asked, waiting for an answer from him.

"Well my name is Cerilio and I'm a human," Cerilio answered.

"Well mah name is Applejack. Why don't you come in and explaine everything to us?" Applejack said. Cerilio nodded and they went inside the house. There Cerilio explained why he was in the forest and that he was sent to this world and how he met Apple Bloom.

"Well that's quite the story Cerilio, but why were you sent here in the first place?" Applejack asked.

"To be honest I'm not quite sure. Yes I was sent to start a new life, but as for the other reason I still need to find out. I'm planning on speaking with your princess, if its posible, to see if maybe she knows something. By the way I can't but notice there many ponies here, a family reunion?'

"Well actually all the apples are here for the Summer Sun Celebration that's being held tomorrow. Hey, since the princess is comming tomorrow here for the celebration there is chance that you could talk to her," Apple bloom says.

"Well the thing is I don't have a place to stay."

"Well stay with us today. Can he Applejack?"

"But ofcourse he can, he saved your life, its the least we can do for him."

"Yay! Ah'll go and prepare the room for him," Apple Bloom says before running to get his room set.

"Are you sure? You don't have to do this, I was just doing my duty as a holy knight," he told her.

"Yes, Ah'm okay with it sugarcube. Its the least we can do for ya. If it wasn't for you, Apple Bloom may have been killed." Applejack reasured him "Ah'll get Big Mack to get you to your room."

"Thank you," Cerilio says. After a few minutes a red pony, who's name was Big Macintosh but some called him Big Mac, came in and lead him to his room. He wasn't much of a talker so the way to his room was quite and the two didn't spoke a word to each other but Big mack had a face that says how thankfull he is that Cerilio saved his little sister. Cerilio could see it, it was as bright as day.

"Well, here your are and again thank you for saving mah little sister," Big Mac said to him

"Your welcome and thanks for having me stay with you people, well in case ponies."

After that Big Mack went back he closed the door and start putting his weapons next to the bed. The he started to take off his armor and put it on a nearby chair. After he took of his armor he went on the bed. The bed was ok, a little small but it was more then to sleep on the ground.

Okay I'm gonna need some normal clothes. Wearing armor all day everyday doesn't sound like a good idea. But on more important matter, tomorrow I'm going to talk to the princess, I think Celestia was her name, and see if she knows something. Anyway tomorrow I will find out, for now i goodnight sleep is what I need.

After he thought to himself, he closed his eyes and ent to sleep

The Elements of Harmony

It was early morning, the sun didn't even rise yet, that saw Cerilio already awake. Looks like his morning routine in the army follow him in this world as well. Seeing that all of the Apple familiy was still asleep, he decided that he would read through the faith magic book to see if he can atleast learn one faith magic spell, then head out to do some training and then have a look around town.

He was about to go pick up the book in the bag when he realised it was pitch dark. At first he wanted to light a candle but remember that he didn't know fire spell, so he apoted to just read in the dark. He trained his eyes so that they can adapt in the dark fast since sometime reports came in at this hour or if the enemy decided to attack in the dark. He did saw some kind of lamp but didnt know how to use it.

Okay I think that I will began with the supports first, I'll leave Aura for when I'm outside. Hmmmmm ah here we go, Restore. I always wanted to learn this one. Okay, okay, I see, so its like Heal, Recover and Physic but for effects like poisen, intresting. Ah dammit I need someone to have either poison or someting else so i could test it. Oh well, Next.

He continue to read the book and learned Silence and Fortify but like most faith support magic he needed a live test subject to see if he could cast them and there is no way he is going ask the ponies. He did learn how cast a barrier or Ward as they call it. He aslo read how to warp around but also decided to leave it for when he was outside. Since he already master some advance spells, these were easy for him. He stopped reading when he saw the sun began to rise. He got out of the bed and started to put his armor on. After that he grab the bag with the books and his lance and head for the door. As he got out of his room he began to walk to the living room. Everyone, or in this case everypony, was still asleep. Making sure not wake up anypony, he went outside and to an open field near the farm.

When he reached he put the bag and his lance near a tree and then picked up the book. He reread the part about warp to make sure he understood it. After that he put it down and closed his eyes.

Okay, according to the book, I need to imagine myself the place I want to go and either I have seen that place before or I have been there, seems simple enough. Hmmm lets go back to the house.

He began to concetrated and imagine himself infornt of the house. He started to feel something and then heard a sound. As he open his eyes he saw the house infront of him.

"Yes! I did it! Now to go back where I was."

He imagine himself back where he was and this time he didn't need to close his eyes and in a flash he was back where he was.

"Okay, now with that out of the way lets go for the big one," he said. He grab the book and went to the page that had the intructions about Aura. "Okay it looks like it almost like Abraxas but instead of letting it fall from the heavens, I surround the foe with light. Also, it requires alot of magic so I'll have to master it before I start using it."

He picked a boulder as a test target and began to concentrate and his hand began to glow with magic. then he open it them and cast the spell. Yellow light came from the ground and surrounded the boulder before disintegrating it. After that Cerlio was left panting.

"Okay....just....like....any other advance spell....it lets you worn out....on the first try....going to need some of practice with this one," he said while trying to get catch his breath. he took a minute to relax and after that, he grab his lance and started some practice swings, using the tree as a dummy. He never knew when his skill would be needed. He was doing this for quite sometime now before he stop when he heard his name being call out. He pack up his stuff and started to walk back to the house. He would've use the warp spell he just learned but since he was worn out from his training he decided to just walk back. As he reach he saw Applejack at the door waiting for him.

"There yer are, Ah've been looking for ya, where have you been this mornin'?"

"I woke up early to get some training done and practice some magic."

"Well Ah was going to ask you if ya want to join us for breakfast."

"Well I would love to, thank you very much."

They both went inside the dining room and there Cerilio saw all the Apple family gather around the table. He took a seat and before he could react, he was bombarded with food ramging from pancaked, eggs, bread, apples and many other types food. He did forget to tell them he was an omnivore but that was a topic for another time. He notice that the food here was very sweet compare to the food he had in Fodland.

"Hey Applejack, do you have something I can help you with as a want to a way to say thanks for
everything you done for me?" Cerilio asked her. He always wanted to show his gratitude when ever they help him or show hospitality.

"Don't worry about it sugarcube, we are just thankfull for your help with Apple Bloom. Why don't you go and walk around Ponyville? We're going juts prepare the food for the celebration."

Ponyville, really? And I thought some names of a few villages in Fodland were weird "Are you sure? I dont think ponies have ever seen someone like me before you know? Are you sure they will welcome me?"

"Yes Ah'm sure they will welcome you, especialy a certain pink one," Applejack said to him, reminding her that the pink pony is going to throw a party very soon.

"Well, if you insist then I'll have a look around. You don't mind if I leave my stuff here?"

"No don't worry your stuff is safe with us, Ah don't think any of us can handle weapons anyways," Applejack reassured him.

After they had their breakfast, Cerilio went to his room to put his lance and book bag. He then pick up his two sword and put them on his waist. Even tho the ponies seemed to be very peacefull and friendly, his soldier instinct was telling not to let his guard down just in case. He was attacked once by some villagers in the alliance who claimed to be the pro imperial so who knows if some of the ponies do attack because they think he's dangerous.

After getting his two sword and saying his goodbyes to the Apple family, he started to walk in the town's direction. After some minutes of walking, he walked in the town. The place reminded him of some of the smaller village in Fodland. Some ponies were at their stands selling their products or food. Some were preparing for the celebration. Soon enough some ponies saw him and began to stare at him. He knew this would happen and prepare for the worst, but that never came. Even tho he was a complete stranger and not even a pony, the ponies started to wave at him and say good morning to him. This caught him of guard and he weakly wave back.

Okay, these ponies sure are friendly. And here I thought that they will attack me. Maybe its because of the armor and they think I'm one of their gaurds? Eh, whatever the case, I'll just roll with it.

He continue to walk around and try to familiarise himself with the place. After all this is where he is going to start a new life so he needed to know where everything was. Just then he heard the familiar sound of pegasus wings flapping. He looked up and saw two of them pulling a chariot. The two of them had armor on them. Even tho the armor they had were vastly different then his, he could see why the ponies asume he was a gaurd or that was what he thought.

I always wonder why we never had air chariot. Fódlan did have pegasus but was only use for combat. But then again we could of use them for troop transport. he tought.

As the chariot landed he saw a lavender unicorn with dark blue mane that a one strip of pink and one stripe of purple on the side. She had a symbol on her flank that was a six pointed pink star over a six pointed white star, with five smaller white star surrounding it. Next to the unicorn was a small dragon with purple colored scales. From his chin down his tale, it was light green colored and on his head were some dark green scales. Cerilio got close enough to them but make sure they didn't notice him.

"Maybe the ponies in Ponyvile have interesting things to talk about. Come on Twilight, just try," he heard the little dragon said. Now if this was his first day in this new world Cerilio who have been suprised, but seeing that this world was far different then his, he was half expecting the dragon to talk

"Um....hello?" said the unicorn, still not noticing the holy knigh behind her. When the mare saw them she gasped and ran away. This stunt let the unicorn and the dragon very confused. Even Cerilio was confused, he never saw anybody react like that.

"Well that was interesting all right" the unicorn said as she and the dragon exchanged confused looks.

"Well thats a reaction I never saw someone give to a simple hello," Cerilio said behind them. His voice suprised the dou and they jump in the air. Then they laid their eyes on him.

"Um....what are you? I never seen a something like you before," said the unicorn still looking at him with a bit worry.

"The names Cerilio and I'm a human."

"A 'human'?" the unicorn asked, now more curious then affraid, "I have never heard about them before. And the armor, its not from the Royal Gaurd so what exactly are you? And where do you come from?"

"Uh, Twilight, I know that you have more questions for him but we have to make sure everything is ready for the Smmer Sun Celebration," the dragon said, catching the antention of the unicorn.

"Oh right, thanks you for reminding me Spike. Oh and sorry about that, um, Cerilio?" He nods, "We have to make sure everything for the celebration is ready. By the way are you here for the celebration?"

"Yes I am. I heard that the princess is coming here, so I'm here to meet her and introduce myself to her."

"Well your in luck then," the dragon started "we were sent here to by the princess make sure that everything is checked for the celebration."

"You two are close with the princess?"

"Yes, Twilight is the her personal student and I'm Twilight number one assistant," expressed the drake with pride.

"Well now, thats most intresting. Well let me introduce myself properly this time. Again the name is Cerilio, I'm a human and where I come from I'm a holy knight. And what would your names be?"

"My name is Twilight Sparkle, princess Celestia student and this is Spike. I have many question for you but seeing that we need to take care of this that will have to wait for another time," Twilight said, with a little disappiontment for the last few words.

"Well why don't I go with you guys? I can answer your question along the way."

"Thats a great idea!" Spike said "One extra hoof can make the job much faster. Now then lest see, we could check on the food. The list says that the overseer is Sweet Apple Acres."

"Sweet Apple Acres, that were I'm staying for the time being. I just got from there, come on i can show you where it is."

And so they went. On the way Twilight didn't show any mercy when she asked Cerilio question. Nope, she bombarded him with quetions. Cerilio tried to answer as much as he can telling her where he's from, how Fodland was before the war, while also not mentioning it, and how they also had magic and many other things. Twilight was suprise to here that Fodland magic was very different from equestrian magic.

"So your saying that your magic is mostly for combat?" she ask him.

"Yes, the ones that I learned are for combat anyways, but there are aslo some support, like heal and warp. I have a three books that detailed all the magic known to Fodland, when we are done I can show you it," he said. After he finished that last sentence Twilight eyes went wide. Magic from another world, how could she not accept that. But will the princess allow that since she doesn't even know he's here and he's from another world.

"We're here," said Cerilio, snapping Twilight back to the present. "I wonder if their finish everything, when I left them they were still busy making them."

As they approuch they heard a loud 'yee-how' cry. Cerilio immediately recognizing the voice as Applejack. she ran to a tree a bucked it, making the apples fall in the baskets below. Cerilio was impressed, knowing that back in Fodland the farmers had to pick the apples one by one, which took along time.

"Good afternoon, my name is Twilight Sparkle-" Twilight tries to greet but was cut off when the farm pony grabbed her hoof and started to shake it violently.

"Well hoowdy-doo, Miss Twilight, pleasure makin' your acquaintance. Ah'm Applejack. We here at Sweet Apple Acres sure do like makin' new friends."

"Friends? Actualy I," Twilight tried to say but was stun be the hoofshake. Cerilio tried his best not to laugh. "I don't rememeber you shaking my hand like that when we first met," stated Cerilio, remembering their first meeting.

"Oh, hey there Cerilio, your back earlier then Ah expected," she said, expecting to him to come back a bit later

"Yes, Im accompanying them since they know the princess. It could be also like a tour to get know the town better."

Well then, what can Ah do for you?" Applejack asked Twilight who was still shaking her hoof in the air, not notcing that she was shaking nothing.

"Well I'm in fact here to supervise preperation for the Summer Sun Celebration. And your in charge with the food?" she said after recovering from the shake.

"We sure as sugar are. Would care to sample some?"

"Sure if it doesnt take long," said Twilight, clearly not wanting to be behing schedule.

"You don't mind if I also try some Applejack?" asked Cerilio. He always was one not to reject food but also know for having a big stomach.

"Ofcourse you can sugarcube," she said. Then she went to a triagle and started to ring it. "Soup's on, everypony!" she shouted. Cerilio, Spike and Twilight was then surrounded by a crowd of Earth Ponies.

"Now, why don't Ah introduce y'all to the Apple family. This here's Apple Fritter, Apple Bumkin, Red Gala, Red Delicious Golden Delicious, Carmel Apple, Apple Strudel, Apple Tart, Baked Apples, Apple Brioche, Apple Cinnamon Crisp......" She took a breather in between. "Big Mcintosh, Apple Bloom and Granny Smith, Up'n'attem Granny Smith, we got Guests." She said while stuffing an apple into me and Twilight's mouth. While she named the Apples, they began to put every type of apple desert on the table infront of them. This make the mouth of Cerlio to began watering.

"Why, Ah say you are already part of the family," Applejack finished

"Okay, well I can see the food situation is handle so we will be on our way," said Twilight, not wanting to stay for much longer.

"Aren't ya gonna stay for brunch," said a sad Apple Bloom, giving Twilight 'the eyes'.

"I'm sorry but we awful lot to do," Twilight says while trying her best to resist those puppy eyes. This caused the whole family give a sad 'aww' and lower their head in sadness. Cerilio knows that, no matter how much you try, you can't resist that much pressure. After a moment Twilight gives in.

"Fine," she says in defeat. The mood of the Apples quickly changed from sad to happy in an instant. Cerilio and Spike were happy because they got to eat.

"Then what are we waiting for?!" Cerilio said, almost screaming "Lets dig in!"

"Uh, I ate to much pie," groan Twilight. The Apples showed her no mercy when they offer her pie. For Cerilio however, it was paradise for him. Even tho he ate more than Twilight, he didn't feel any sort of pain or discomfort that come when someone eats to much.

"Oh come on, those pies were the best pies I ever had in a long time. You got to admit, they were delicious," he said to her. Twilight just gave him an annoyed looked and just kept on walking.

"A-anyways, Spike what's next on the list," he asked, not wanting to anger the unicorn more.

"Well," the dragon starts "there should be a pegasus pony name Rainbow Dash clearing the clouds." They look up to see if the sky is clear or being cleared. What they see is a sky full of clouds and no pegasus in sight.

"Well she not doing a very good job is she," said Twilight, being a bit anoyed. Before Cerilio could say anything, something came out of nowhere and slammed in to unicorn, knocking her into some mud, which made her grunt. It was a pegasus with cyan colored coat and had a long and rainbow colored mane. On her flank was a red, yellow and blue lighting bold that came streaking from a cloud.

I think thats Rainbow Dash and, if I'm right, I could why see why they named her that, man some of these names are wierd. By the way what are those symbols I keep seeing on their flank? I think I'll ask Twilight later. he thought to himself. Meanwhile the pegasus got off twilight and saw how mud was alll over her coat.

"He he he um, excuse me. Lemme help you," she said and went to grab a rain cloud and put on Twiligh and jump on it making rain fall on the unicorn. The mud on her was gone, but now she was saoking wet and had anoyed face.

"Oops, I guess I over did it. Um, uh how about this? My very own Rain-Blow Dry!" As the pegasus was speaking she began to fly around around Twilight so fast that it made a rainbow twister appear that blow alll the water and mud that was under her away. After she was done, she landed a few feet away next to them.

"No no. Dont thank me, your quite welcome," said the pegasus, not being aware of the anoyed face she was receiving from Twilight. When she did notice, she was trying her best not to laugh. Why? Well the twister did dry up the unicorn, but left her with a bushy, messy mane. After a few seconds of trying not to laugh, the cyan pegasus burst out in laughter follow by Spike, who aslo saw Twilights mane. Cerilio manage not to follow them, knowing that it might unleashed the wrath of the lavander unicorn.

"Let me guess, your Rainbow Dash?" asked Twilight, still looking anoyed.

"The one and only. Why? You heard of me?" answered Rainbow after she was done laughing.

Yup. I was spot on thought Cerilio berfore he said something. "Well, we heard you were supposed to be keeping the sky cleared," he said. You would think he would be anoyed as well, but years of dealing with arrogant people in the army helped him to stay atleast professional. When Rainbow Dash spotted him, she was confused. She never saw anything like him before. "Uh, what exactly are you?" she asked him.

"Oh, I keep forgetting that I arrived yesterday," Cerilio reminded himself "My name is Cerilio and I'm what you call a human. We can go into detail another time because these two need to know about the weather for the Summer Sun Celebration. Twilight thats your que," he finished, stepping behind the unicorn. Twilight let a out sigh, dropping her anoyed look before turning to the pegasus.

"Yes, thank you. I'm Twilight Sparkle and, as he said, the princess sent me to check on the weather."

After getting her out of her confusion about Cerilio, Rainbow Dash flew up and rested on a cloud. "Yeah that will be a snap. Ill do it in a jiffy, just as soon as I'm done practicing," she said

"Practicing? Practicing for what?"

"The Wonderbolts!" Rainbow says with ecxitment while pointing at poster on the wall, "Their gonna perform at the celebration tomorrow, and I'm gonna show them my stuff."

"So, their a group of pegasus that perfrom for events?" Cerilio ask, seeing that he doesn't know what are the Wonderbolts. Rainbow Dash quickly dash on him, angry that he was so ignorant. Cerilio almost grabs his sword thinking she was about to attack him, but stops himself when she stops right in front of his face.

"They're not just a group of performeres, they're the most talented and fastest flyers in Equestria!," she exclaim, almost shouting in his face.

"I'm new here," Cerilio deadpans. "I'm still learning about this place. So sorry if I didn't know. You sure are a fangirl."

"Oh please," Twilight comes in "they will never accept a pegasus who can't keep the skies clear for one measly day."

"Hey," Rainbow says, turning her attention back to Twilight, "I can clear this sky in ten second flat."

"Prove it"

Not hesitating for one bit, Rainbow Dash began flying through the sky and started bucking and punching the clouds making them dissapear. Her speed catch Cerilio of gaurd, he never saw a pegasus fly that fast. And just like she said, after ten scondes she was done.

"What I say. Ten second flat. I never leave Ponyville hanging." Twilight and Spike were so amazed that their jaws was stayed wide open for a good while, especialy Twilight's. As for Cerilio, he also was amazed but recovered quickly from his shock. Spike aslo recovered from his shock.

"He he, you should see the look on your face. Your a laugh Twilight Sparkle, I can wait to hang out some more."

"Well, that was awesome. Never have I seen a pegasus that fast. You have a lot of potenial Rainbow Dash," Cerilio says to her with a smile.

"Ofcourse it was awesome becuase I'm awesome. Wait, you said that you knew some pegasus but you just arrive here, how is that possible?"

"That is also a story for another time, see you at the celebration?"

Yeah ofcourse, but you gonna have to start telling me about youself." After that she flew away. Cerilio look at his two companions.

"Wow, she's amazing," Spike said, which brought Twilight out of her shock. Cerilio can't help but to chuckle a little. "Indeed she is. Now whats next Spike?" he says to the dragon.

They walk for a bit before arriving at the town hall. it wasn't that far from where they met Rainbow Dash. When they went inside, they were greeted with a decaroted interior.

"Decoration. Beautiful," marvel the drake. Cerilio aslo was awed by the decorations. He never went to any festival, but he has seen paintings of some.

"Yes, the décor coming along nicely," Twilight said as she saw the decorations. "This oughta be quick. I'll be at the libary in no time. Beautiful indeed."

"Not the décor, her." Cerilio then notice that there was a light gray unicorn with purple mane three sapphire on her flank working on the decoration. He aslo notice that the dragon next to him was staring at her like kid who just figure out he has a crush on someone he met for only couple of minutes. Well in this case, a couple of seconds. Cerilio, deciding to bring Spike back to reality, slap him in back of the head.

"Ow! What was that for?!" Spike almost shouted while glaring at Cerilio.

"Hey, you were daydreaming about a mare you just met, so I needed to bring you back to reality. I know there is nothing wrong with that, but right now we need you in the here and now."

"Okay, maybe I was daydreaming, but that didn't mean you had to slap. Did you for forget your wearing armor." Cerilio looked at him confused before it hits him. His hand is in metalic armor so ofcourse the slap would be more painfull. He smiled sheepishly. "Hehe, yeah, I might have forgot about that. But thats not the point."

While the two were bickering with each othter, Twilight just rolled her eyes and walked over to the unicorn, seeing that those two would be at it for some time. "Good afternoon-" Twilight tried to introduce herself bu was cut off.

"Just a moment please, I'm in the zone as it were. Oh yes! Sparkle always does the trick, does it not? Why, Rarity, you are a talent," she said while she was placing a sparkling red ribbon on a pole. She then turned to look at the group. "Now how can I help yoooooooahahaaah!" she screamed when she saw Twilight messy mane. Her scream aslo caught the antention of the Spike and Cerilio and they stop arguing to see what was going on. "Oh my stars, darling! Whatever happend to your coiffure?!"

"Oh you mean my mane? Well its a long story, I'm just here to check on the decoration then I;ll be out of you hair," Twilight shrug. But Rarity being one for fashon couldn't let this go so easly.

"Out of my hair? What about your hair?" Rarity then began to drag Twilight, complete ignoring the dragon and human that was right behind her. Spike eyes became hearts again and Cerilio just sigh and walked after them.

"Wait. Where are we going? Help!" exclaimed Twilight.

Its always next to impossible to convince a fashionista to not help you when your hair is that messy Cerilio thought, remembering that in the army there was one who berated him when his cape was all torn from battles.

They were now in Rarity's boutique where Rarity was dressing Twilight in all type of clothes and fixing her mane in different style. Cerlilio leaning on the wall with his eyes closed, waiting for this to be over.

"No...nope...uh-uh. Too green. Too yellow. Too poofy! Not poofy enough! Too frilly. Too...shiny." Rarity went one before finding the perfect dress for Twilight while her mane stayed the same way it was before Rainbow Dash made it a mess. "There. Now then my dear, your were telling me where you from," She said while thighting the dress very thight.

"I've.....been...sent...from.....Canterlot....to," Twlight tried to answer her, but being squeezed like that was making it hard to breath, let alone talk.

"Canterlot! Oh, I am so envious! The glamour, the sophistication! I have always dreamed of living there! I can't wait to hear all about it! We are gonna be the best of friends, you and I... And you there darling," catching Cerilio's atention, "you look like a handsome creature with that shining armor, not the mention that gorgeous cape. Where are there from? They must have been made with the best material around I guess."

"This is standered holy knight armor from my homeland and as for the materials, I don't know, but what I do know is that the materials increases my resistence against magic atttacks."

"Well, all I can say is that your kind has good taste in fashon, you have to tell me all about it one day. A whole new design for my line..."Rarity doose of for a moment. Cerilio cleared his throat to get her antention back. "Well I don't remember most of the fashon form my homeland, so I may not be of much help."

"Oh, don't worry about it dear, when you need some clothes I can take your measurements and make them for you. It would be new a challenge for me."

"I think that would be a good idea since I don't want to wear my armor everyday. I'll let you know." With that Rarity went back to Twilight and her dress. "Emerald?! What was I thinking? Let me get you some rubies instead, that would go much better," she daid before running to get some. Twilight manage to take of the dress and started to run.

"Quick! Before she decided to dye my coat a new color!" Cerilio just chuckle. He grabbed Spike, who was still daydreaming even after his slap from early, and walked after Twilight.

"Wasn't she wonderful" Spike sighed, still daydreamin about Rarity. Cerilio just rolled his eyes, seeing that talking to Spike was a lost cause.

"Focus Casanova, whats next on the list," Twilight said to get the dragon atention. Spike, having been brought back to reality, looked back on the list. "Um, music! Is the last one."

They stopped walking when they heard whispering of music in the distant. Making their way towards it and hiding in a bush, they saw a yellow pegasus with pink mane and three butterfly on her flank leading choir of birds. Cerilio never thought that it was possible but here he is, seeing it his own eyes. "Oh my. Um, stop please, everyone," she said when she notice one blue-jay's rythem was off and flew to it, "uuum. Excuse me sir. I mean no offense, but your rhythm is just a teeny-tiny bit off." the bird noddes and the pegasus flew back to her original spot. "Now, follow me, please. A-one, a-two, a-one two three-"

"Hello!" Twilight said, walking towards the Pegasus and accidentally scaring off the birds in the process. "Oh my, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to frighten your birds. I'm just here to check up on the music and it's sounding beautiful," she said as the Pegasus landed quietly. Then they stood there in awkward silence, none of them saying anything. "I'm Twilight Sparkle," Twilight said in an attempt to break the silence before it returned. "What's your name?"

"Um...I'm Fluttershy," the peagsus said, barely audible. Twilight obviously didn't hear that.

"I'm sorry, what was that?"

"My name is Fluttershy"

"Didn't quite catch that."

Fluttershy simply squealed, not facing Twilight anymore and hiding behind her mane. The awkward silence returned gain as well as her birds.

"Well, um, it looks like your birds are back, so I guess everything's in order. Keep up the good work!" Twilight tried to encourage, only to get more squeaking for in response. She then went back to Spike and Cerilio.

"Well, that was easy," she said to them as they walked form behind the bush they were waiting. "You mean awkward." Cerilio stated pointed out. She reminds me bit of Lady Marianne.

As soon as Flutttershy saw Spike and Cerilio, she gasped loud and rushed to them, bumbing in to Twilight and sending her flying in the process. "A baby-dragon! Oh, i've never seen a baby-dragon, he's sooo cute." Spike turned to Twilighta and Cerilio before crossing his arms, his face full with pride. "Well well well....

"Oh my, he talks. I didn't know dragons could talk. That's just so incredibly wonderful I, I just don't even know what to say!" Fluttershy said in response to Spike talking.

In the mean time, Twilight got up and levitate Spike on her back with her magic, which caught the dragon of gaurd. "Well, in that case we better be going,"

"Wait, wait! What's his name?" Fluttershy started to follow them.

"I'm Spike," Spike answer her with a smile

"Hello Spike, I'm Fluttershy. Wow, a talking dragon," she said, full of wonder. Then she turned her attention to Cerilio. "And what about you? Your a tall one, do you talk to? And what type of creature are you? I have never seen your type before," she asked him, still full of wonder and curiosity.

Ugh, this is getting old real fast. "Yes, I can talk. My name is Cerilio and I'm a human. It's nice to meet you," he answered her with a smile, even tho it was a bit forced. Fluttershy on the other hand(hoof?) was even more curious, it was even starting to rivals Twilight's. "Wow, a whole new type of species that I never heard before is right infront of me. So what do dragon and human talk about?"

"Well what do wanna know?" asked Spike.

"Absolutely everything," Fluttershy told them. This cause Twilight to let out an annoyed 'ugh'. Cerilio felt pity for the unicorn, something was telling him that she was worring about something. For cerilio let it slide, maybe he'll ask her later when they were alone since it look liked something importante. Meanwhile Spike was busy telling Fluttershy his story, to which Cerilio paid very good atention since he wanted to know the young dragon better.

It was late afternoon, the sun was begining to set and Spike was almost done with his story. They were back in Ponyvile, heading towards what looked like a huge treehouse in Cerilio's eyes.

Okay, that must the biggest treehouse I have ever seen in my life!

As they came closer, he saw a book sign, indicating it was a library.

"And thats the story of my whole entire life! Wll, up until today. Do you wanna hear about today?" Spike asked after he finished his story.

"Well actually I wanna know about Cerilio as well," Fluttershy told him, as she turn to face Cerilio. Before Cerilio can say anything Twilight jumpes in front of him. "I'm so sorry, how did we get here so fast? This were I'm stayinh while I'm in Ponyvile and my poor baby dragon need his sleep," she lied to get Fluttershy to leave.

"No I don't," Spike protested but was throw of by Twilight and landed hard on the ground.

"See? He's so sweepy he can't even keep his widdle bawance!" Twilight emphasize to get make the act more convincing. Spike was just glaring at her. Fluttershy believed her so she flew and picked Spike up. "Poor little thing, you simply must get him to bed," she said and went in the library with Spike in her hoofs. Twilight and Cerilio went after her and Twilight gently pushed her out.

"Yes yes, we'll get right on that. Well good night," Twilight told her before slammming the door. "Rude much," Spike said, cleary not happy how Twilight treated the pegasus.

"Yeah, Spike is right Twilight, something is on your mind, care to explain?" Cerilio getting a good chance to asked.

"Sorry you two, but I have to convince the Princess that Nightmare Moon is coming, and we're running out of time! I just need to be alone so I can study without a bunch of crazy ponies trying to make friends all the time." Twilight said as she walked around the dark room.

"Nightmare Moon?" Cerilio asked, wanting to know more, but never got the chance as the light turned were turned on, revealing a crowd of ponies.

"SUPRISE!" they all shouted as ballons and confetti rainded down. Twilight was not happy as she let out a groan. Cerilio was about to grab his sword and attack but stop himself when he loooked around and saw the same pink pony that Twilight and Spike first met hopped infront of her. "Surprise! Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie, and I threw this party just for you! Were you surprised? Were ya? Were ya? Huh huh huh?" she said while bouncing around her. Cerilio was beyond confused as to how she was doing that.

"Wer were very suprised, libraries are supposed to be quite," Twilight said, clrealy anoyed.

"Well, that's silly! What kind of welcome party would this be if it were quiet? I mean, duh, bo-ring! Y'see, I saw you when you first got here, remember? You were all "hello" and I was all-" Pinkie gasped deeply, continuing to tell her story as she followed Twilight over to a table with drinks. "remember? Y'see I've never saw you before and if I've never saw you before that means you're new, 'cause I know everypony, and I mean everypony in Ponyville! And don't get me started on your tall creature friend who was keeping his distance from you before he came out talked to you. He arrived yesterday and statyed at Applejack."

Cerilio was dumbfounded, how did she knew that he arrived yesterday and how he was keeping his distance from Twilight and Spike before he inroduced himself to them. This pony was just beyond his understanding.

"And if you're new, that meant you three haven't met anyone yet, and if you haven't met anyone yet, you must not have any friends, and if you don't have any friends then you must be lonely, and that made me so sad, then I had an idea, and that's why I went-" She took a deep breath "I must throw a great big ginormous super-duper spectacular welcome party and invite everyone in Ponyville! See? And now you have lots and lots of friends!" Pinkie Pie finally finished as Twilight turned around, her face red from the hot sauce. Her mane caught fire as she rushed off upstairs. "Aww, she's so happy she's crying!"

Unbenounced to them, Twilight accidently drank hot sauce while Pinkie Pie was talking to her. Spike went to check the bottle and turns out, it was hot sauce. Pinkie meanwhile poured the hot sauce on a cup caked and ate it in one bite. Again Cerilio was dumbfounded. "What? It's good!" explained Pinkie.

Is this pony ment to break every law of reality? he thought, trying his best to understand the pink pony. His thought then went to Twilight. He was wondering how she was doing. After some time, he went upstairs to find her. Opening the door he went in.

"Twilight? Are you in here?"

"What do you want Cerilio?"

"I'm came to check on you. Something has been on your mind, is it about the Nightmare Moon you said when we got in here?"

Twilight sighed. "Yes, it's about that." She levitates a book to him, "Legend has it that on the longest day of the thousandth year, the stars will aid her in her escape and she will bring about everlasting night."

"And that day is today?" Cerilio asks her, to which she nods. "I wanted to learn more about the Elements of Harmony since they defeated her, but silly me. This whole friend-making has kept me from it!" Twilight explained to him. Cerilio was skeptical. "Does the princess know about this?" he asks

"I did told her, but she told me it was an old pony tale. After that she send me here to take care of the preperation for the Summer Sun Celebration. I wish she's right but something is telling that Nighmare Moon is real."

Cerilio was in deep thought

I can't blame her for worrying, this Nightmare Moon does sound like a real threat. Maybe that's the reason why I was sent here? But why would the princess dismiss it for a legend?

"Well there is a chances that this may be a legend," Twilight let out a sigh, "but I'll be on high alert. And if she did turn out to be real, then we'll have to find those Elements of Harmony. Nightmare Moon isn't going to have her eternal night without a fight. I assure you that. On my honor as an imperial holy knight."

Twilight was touched by his resolve. Here was a someone who was from a diffrent world and someone who she just met, was willing to atleats believe some of what she told him and ready to defend Equestria from Nightmare Moon.

"Thank you for believing me. Not even Spike believes me, yet here you who only just met me today is atleast believe some of it."

"Anytime Twilight, I will be here there since this is going to be my new home. Now wait here for a moment." Cerilio then vanished, leaving a purple light. Twilight wonder what just happend but then another purple light came. When Twilight open her eyes, she saw Cerilio now armed with a lance and a bow.

"Now I'm ready," Cerilio says with a smile. Twilight was beyond shocked, he didn't told her that he can teleport. Before she can question him Spike barged in. "Come on you two! It's tme to watch the sunrise!"

Twilight, Spike and Cerilio where now in the city hall. They were part of a massive crowd, waiting for the princess to raise the sun. It was quite for sometime. Then music began playing the spotlight fell on mare with gray mane.

"Fillies and gentlecolts, as mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration!" she said. This was welcomed with cheers from the crowd except from Twilight. Cerilio just clapped his hands his lance reting on his left shoulder. His bow and arrow was on his back, the cape covering them.

"In just a few moment, our town will witness the magic of the sunsise, and celebrate this, the longest day of the year!" As the mare was giving her speech, Twilight took a glance at the moon. Cerilio saw this and aslo to a glance. The mare on the moon was gone. Twilight became worried and Cerilio went on full alert. He tighten his grip on his lance and adopting a serious expreshon on his face. "And now, it is my great honor to introduce to you the ruler of our land, the very pony who gives us the sun and the moon each and every day, the good, the wise, the bringer of harmony to all of Equestria.......Princess Celestia!" The spot light moved to a higher up balcony as Rarity pulled back the curtains.

When the curtians was pull back, the princess was nowhere to be seen. This cause Cerilio to go on full soldier mode. "This can't be good," he heard Twilight commenting on the situation, her eyes fill with worry.

Remain calm everypony, there must be a reasonable explanation!" the mayor tries to reassured the ponies. This did little to calm them as they began to murmur, wondering what was going on.

"Ooh, ooh, I love guessing games! Is she hiding?" Pinkie Pie began to look around. Rarity went to look at the back, but fond nothing.

"She gone!" she told the crowd. This caused the ponies to gasped in shock and terror. "Oooh she's goood," Pinkie till thinking she was hiding. She the yelp in terror as she saw something on the balcony. Cerilio and all the ponies atention went to the balcony. There was dark blue mist coming form the balcony and the ponies yelp as well. It was as if the night sky came down to earth. Out of the mist, a dark alicorn mare took form and was looking down on the ponies.

"Nightmare Moon," Twilight said with fear. Spike fainted on the spot when he saw her.

So this is Nightmare Moon. Well here goes nothing. Cerilio put his right hand behind his back and began to charge a Thoron spell. Meanwhile the alicorn began to speak.

"Oh, my beloved subjects. Its been to long since I've seen your precious little sun-loving faces," she said to them. The ponies were cowering in fear.

"What did you do with our princess?!" Rainbow Dash shouted at her and was about to flew to her but Applejack hold her by her tale.

The Alicorn let out a short laugh. "Why, am I not royal enough for you? Don't you know who I am?"

"Ooh, ooh, more guessing games!" Pinkie Pie said, cheerfully. "Um, Hokey Smokes! How about... Queen Meanie! No! Black Snooty, Black Snooty－" She was stopped by Applejack shoving a cupcake in her mouth. Cerilio was far behind the crowd so to catch her by suprise

"Does my crown no longer count now that I have been imprisoned for a thousand years? Did you not recall the legend? Did you not see the signs?" She asked mockingly, expecting nopony to answer.

"I did!" Twilight shouted. "And I know who you are, you're the Mare in the Moon! Nightmare Moon!"

The ponies once more gasped while Nightmare Moon smiled. "Well well well, somepony who remembers me. Then you also know why I'm here," She said towards the unicorn. Twilight went form being brave for a moment to scared again.

"You're here to......to..." she couldn't finish her sentence in her fear and swallowed.

Nightmare Moon once more began to laugh. "Remember this day, little ponies, for it was your last. From this moment forth, the night will last forever!" She shouted and began laughing.

"HAAA!" Cerilio let out his Thoron that he was charging towards the alicorn. It hit her hard and she recoiled. It caught her completly of gaurd. The ponies, even Twilight, were shocked. Where did that lighting came from or who is thye one who send it on her.

"Who?! Who dares defy me?!" Nightmare Moon shouted. Cerilio stepped forth and faced her

"I do," Cerilio says in a determined tone, "If you want your eternal night, than you have to go through me."

Nightmare Moon eyed this creature who dared defy her. He has strange magic that was for sure but no matter, she was stronger then him that's for sure, that is what she told herself.

"You are a brave creature, but do you know what you got yourself into?" she told him in a sinister tone.

"Oh, I know alright. Now then, are you gonna stay there or are we gonna duel? Because like I said, you're not getting that eternal night as long as I stand."

"Impudent foal! You will regret facing me!"

Cerilio tooked his battle stance, lance gripped by his both hand and ready himself. Nightmare Moon meanwhile charge her horn and send a blast of magic towards him. Cerilio quickly dodge it by moving to his right, the magic blast exploding were he was standing. Cerilio then warped infront of her ready to slash her with his lance. Nightmare Moon teleported herself out of the way and reappeared in the middle of the city hall. Cerilio warped himself there aswell.

They stood for a moment, just eyeing each other, trying to find a weakness in one another's stance. The alicorn made a sword out her magic and charge at the holy knight. He also charge at her. They began to swinging there weapons at each other and parrying each other attacks. Their battle caused the surrounding pony to look with awe. Here was creature who was going toe to toe with a alicorn, they were starting have hope that he could defeat her. But their hope was crushed when Nightmare Moon made a swing so swift and precise, she disarmed Cerilio and then blasted him magic, sending him into a wall. It was thanks to his armor that he survived since his armor was built to withstand magic attacks. He got up but was barely keeping his footing and was panting heavily.

"See, what did I told you? You will regret ever challenging me," she mocked him while she was walking closer to him. "Now then, any last words before you meet your end?"

"Yeah, I hope you like it when it's cold."

What the alicorn didn't know, was he was charging another spell.

"Your finished!"

Nightmare Moon didnt't had a chance to dodge as she was covered by ice, freezing her. The ponies gasped at this. They thought that he could control the weather, somthing that only pegasus could do. Cerilio was now out of breath, he used the last of his energy and magic to cast that Blizzard. Then the ice that was covering Nightmare Moon started to shine until the alicorn within broke free. She was also out of breath given her weakend state she was in when she was trapped on the moon. Cerilio quickly grab his magic bow and took aim.

"This is not the last time we will see each other creature. I will have my revenge and then the night will last forever!" She then took her mist form and disappeared. Cerilio put the bow back behind his cape and went to grab his lance. The ponies meanwhile were just staring at him. He notice this.

"Why are you starring at me for?" he asked them.

"You just fought Nightmare Moon," One said.

"And you made her run away," another told him.

"And you used some crazy weather magic," a pegasus said.

Cerilio just smiled. "I just did what I had to do as a holy knight. My honor wouldn't let me have it any other way," he told them. They began to cheer, most likely because they began to see him as protector or atleast he would help find the princess. Soon he was surrounded by the ponies. He looked around for Twilight and found out she was gone. Knowing her, he thought she went back to the library to find the book about the Elements of Harmony. He thanked everypony for the cheers and went after her.

Twilight was heading towards the library. After Cerilio started fighting Nightmare moon, she didn't stick around for the whole fight. Before they went to the city hall, Cerilio told her that if Nighmare Moon turned out to be real, he would keep her busy while she would go back to the library and find out more about the elements. Twilight was hesitant to go with Cerilio's plan but he told her that he has fought dangerous enemies before.

With Spike on her back, who was still unconscious, she dashed her way towards the library. After arriving at her destination, she went upstairs to put Spike to sleep. "You've been up all night Spike. You are a baby-dragon after all," she said to him. She turned off the lights and went back downstairs to find a book about the elements. She needed to find it and the Elements of Harmony since that was her only hope of stopping Nightmare Moon. She began to tear the place upside down, leaving no book unread.

"Elements, elements, elements....ugh! How can I stop Nighmare Moon without the Elemets of Harmony?!" she said in a frustrated and stressed tone. About a second later Rainbow Dash and the rest of the gang entered. "And just what are the Elements of Hramony? And how did you know about Nightmare Moon, huh? Are you a spy?" Rainbow began to interrogate the poor mare.

Just then Cerilio entered the library and boy did he looked awful. His face was filled with bruises and his armor still had the burn mark were Nightmare Moon blasted him with magic. His cape was also torn a bit. Rainbow Dash turn towards him and came very close to his face. "And you! What the hay was that back there? You covered her in snow while it's still summer! Are you some kind of creature who can control the weather?! Are you a spy aswell?!" she aslo interrogated him, but was yanked by the tale by Applejack

"Simmer down, Sally. They ain't no spy. But they do know what's going on. Don't you?" Applejack noted and everypony gathered around Twilight and Cerilio.

"I have read all about the prediction of Nighmare Moon. Some mysterious objects called the Elements of Harmony are the only things that can stop her. But I don't know what they are, where to find them, I don't even know what they do!" she explained. whlie she was explaining, Pinkie walked to one of the bookshelfs.

"Before we went to the city hall, I told Twilight that if Nightmare Moon turned out to be real, I would keep her distracted while she went and find out more about these 'Elements of Harmony'. That is why I went and fought her," Cerilio added.

"The Elements of Harmony: A Reference Guide." All eyes went to Pinkie Pie. Twilight immediately went over there and pushed the pink pony out of the way.

"How did you find that?!"

"It was under 'E'~."

"Oh"

Cerilio just facepalmed. "When you're under pressure, the simplest of things becomes complicated," he mutter to himself. Twilight levitated the book to the group and started to read.

"There are six Elements of Harmony, but only five are known: Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty and Loyalty. The sixth is a complete mystery. It is said, the last known location of the five elements was in the ancient castle of the royal pony sisters. It is located in what is now," she stops for a moment before reading the last part, "the Everfree Forest."

"THE EVERFREE FOREST!" the five ponies shouted in horror. Cerilio knew it was a dangerous place since it was there he fought those Thimberwolves to save Applejack's little sister, so he could understand their fear. But the fate of this world hanged in the balance and if they ever want to get their princess back.

They were now standing at the entrance of the forest. The fear of everpony present varried form a little to being out right terrifried, except for Pinkie Pie who was eager to go in for some reason. Cerilio was wearing his serious expresion as he ready himself. "Whee! let's go!" Pinkie said full of excitement and started to walked.

"Not so fast." Twilight said, causing Pinkie to stop in her tracks, "Look, I appreciate the offer, but I'd really rather do this on my own."

"Twilight are you carzy?" Cerilio was the first to say something, "There is no way in hell that I'm letting you go in there alone, not after experiencing what's in there."

"Cerilio's right, we sure ain't lettin' any friend of ours go into that creepy place alone. We're stickin' to you like caramel on a candy apple," Applejack said with a determine tone as Rainbow, Rarity and Fluttershy followed her into the forest.

"Especially if there's candy apples in there!" Pinkie said. Cerilio and Twilight just stood there, their understandment of the her dropping even more. "What? Those things are good!" She said as she followed the rest into the forest.

"Let's go Twilight. We got a world and a princess to save," Cerilio said as he began to enter the forest.

Twilight sighed and followed them in and after catching with them she took the lead. After a while of walking in silence Twilight broke it with a question. "So none of you have been in here before?"

"Heavens no!" Rraity answered her and you can hear the terror in her tone. "Just looked at it! It's dreadful!" she pointed to the scenery around them.

"And ain't natural. Folks say it don't work the same as Equestria," Applejack added.

"Care to explaine there?" Cerilio asked.

"Nopony knows,~" Rainbow Dash started to tell like someone telling a ghost story, "You wanna know why?" she ask causing Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy to shiver in fear

"Rainbow, quit it," Applejack try to scold but was ignored.

"Because everypony who's come in, has never. Gone. Out!" Berfore anyone could say something, the ground they were standing on broke. Everyone screamed as they began to slide down the rocky cliff except for Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy since they could fly.

"Fluttershy! Quick!" Rainbow shouted and Fluttershy didn't need to be told twice. Rainbow manage to grab Pinkie and Fluttershy pulled rarity by her tail and she stopped rolling down the hill. Applejack manage to grab on a root. Cerilio pierced his lance into the cliff, stopping his roll as he hold on to it. He wanted to reach Twilight but she slide to fast for him to grab her. She kept on sliding until she reach the cliff's edge and was hang on for dear life.

Applejack let go of the root she was hanging and slide towards her. "Hold on, Ah'ma comin'" she said. Cerilio released his lance and aslo slide towards her aswell. They both made it to her and garb hold of her. Applejack has holding her left hoof with her hoofs and Cerilio was holding her right hoof with his hand.

"Applejack, Cerilio, what do I do?"

Applejack began to wonder what to do. Then her eyes went to the sky and then back to Twilight. Cerilio saw this aswell and and know what Twilight had to do.

"Let go," she told her.

Are you crazy!?" Twilight yelled at her.

"No Twilight, believe her. She knows what she's talking about," Cerilio tried to reassure her, but she was not believing them.

"That's not true!" she told them.

"Now listen here. What Ah'm sayin' to you is the honest truth. Let go and you'll be safe."

"Twilight trust her." With both of them reassuring her, she let go. She screamed as she was falling, but long after she was caught by Rainbow and Fluttershy and began lowering her safely to the ground. While they were carrying her, Applejack and Cerilio were decending from the side of the cliff.

"Is everybody ok?" Cerilio asked them and they all nod. "Yes we're all okay, just scrapes from rolling down the hill," Rarity told him and he nods as they continue on their journey. Unkown to them it was Nightmare Moon who caused the cliff to break in her mist form. Seeing that this failed, she went and prepare her next trap in order to stop them.

"And once Rarity and Pinkie were safe, WOOSH! Me and Fluttershy loop-de-loop around and whem! Caught right in the nick of time," Rainbow Dash was telling them what just happend a few minutes ago as they continue on their journey, much to the displeasure of Twilight.

"Yes Rainbow, I was there. And I'm very gratefull, but we gotta stay focus on what were looking for," Twilight told her.

"Yes, you don't have to keep repeating the same－" Cerilio caught off when they heard a stomp. They looked where the sound came from and there, was a huge beast with a lion head and body, dragon wing and a bih scorpion tail.

"What the hell is that?!" Cerilio shouted.

"A Manticore!" Twilight in a sense answered him as the beast bellowed a roar. Cerilio quickly stood infront of them. "All of you stay behind me! I'll handle it," he told them and they did what he said. Fluttershy didn't want him to fight the monster since she saw something worng with it. Putting his lance aside, he grab his magic bow and shoot two arrows at the beast. The Manticore dodge the arrows and let out another roar. It began to charge at the holy knight and then jump high in the air to attack from above. Cerilio let a smirk come on his face.

"Wait," Fluttershy said, Cerilio couldn't hear her.

"Big mistake," Cerilio said as he cast a Excalibur that caught the Manticore in the air and spun him around before throwing it to a nearby tree. The ponies meanwhile looked with awe as the fight rage on. His display of reason magic was fascinating to them.

His magic just keeps on suprising me! First was his lighting magic that he somehow made into a beam and now he's casting some sort of wind magic that created a tornado! Twilight thought to herself. Rainbow Dash was completly dumfounded.

"He can control the wind and make tornados too?!" she said. Cerilio thought he defeated the beast so he walked back to the group. "Done and done," he said, still having a smirk on his face. But a roar caught him by suprise and he looked behind. The Manticore stood up and ready itself again to charge.

"When are you going to give up?" Cerilio asked him, becoming a little irritated, and was answered with a roar. The beast began to run towards him. Cerilio prapared to cast another spell, this time Seraphim.

"Wait," Fluttershy tried again but was still unheard by Cerilio as he was about to cast the spell. The Manticore agian began to charge at him.

"WAIT!" Fluttershy shouted stopping both Cerilio and the Manticore. She approached the Manticore. The beast was about to attack her but stop when she began to speak. "Shhhh..... Its okay," she assured the creature and started to nuzzle his paw. This caught the Manticore of guard for a second, before it showed her a rather large splinter sticking out of his paw. "Oh, you poor, poor little baby."

"Little?" Rainbow asked with a raised brow.

"Now this might hurt for just a second" Fluttershy said, pulling the splinter out of his paw. This caused the Manticore to pick her up and roar. Cerilio was ready to cast the spell and save her. However, the Manticore started licking Fluttershy.

"Aw you're just a little ol' baby kitty, aren't you? Yes you are, yes you are." Fluttershy kept playing with him and the group walked past it.

How did she knew that it was a splinter that caused him to attack us in blind pain and rage? Cerilio asked himself. He walked past the Manticore still wondering what just happened. Twilight stayed behind to wait for Fluttershy to talk to her. "How did you know about the thorn?"

"I didn't. Sometime we all just need shown a little kindness," Fluttershy told her as she walked past by her.

The group of six ponies and one human continue on their journey deeper into the forest. The deeper they went, they began to feel more creeped out. The scenery around them didn't help either, becoming more Darker and the trees began to block the moonlight.

"I beginning to think that this forest rivals the Sealed Forest in creeping people out," Cerilio said. The ponies gave him a confused look.

"What is this 'Sealed Forest'?" Twilight asked him, wondering just what was he talking about. Cerilio just smirked and began to tell. "The Sealed Forest is a forest just like this one back in my homeland. There are some myths and legends about the place, some saying that it was sealed by the goddess or something like that. But what I can tell is that when I set foot in there, it creep the hell out of me."

"But darling, why would go there in the first place?" Rarity ask.

"There was some kind of problem with a few demonic beasts running wild in there."

"D-demonic b-b-beats?" Fluttershy timidly asked.

"Yes, demonic beast. Anyways, lord Hubert and General Eisner ask me if me and my battalion would join them and since we had nothing to do that day, we volunteered. Long story short, they were dealt with and we suffer only minor injuries."

The ponies were intrigue by his tale, especialy Rainbow. "Sounds awesome, just go out there to kick some monsteres flank."

"And it explain how manage to handle those Timberwolves and that Manticore since you already had dealt with those type of monsters before," Applejack complimented him to which he smiles.

"How many times were you needed to fight demonic beasts?" Rainbow asked him. Cerilio thought for a moment before answering. "I think that was my only time I fought demonic beasts. Most of the time I was 'bandit hunting', did daily patrols or was sent to supress a rebelion," he replied to her, still not telling them about the war and that he fought in it. He just wants to forget about it and, like Sothis said, start a new life here after they deal with Nightmare Moon.

While Cerilio was telling them of his experiance, they didn't notice that they were now deep in the forest until they looked around them. The moon light was completly blocked by the trees and bushes and the ground was getting more muddy as they walked.

"Uh, Ah think Ah step in somethin'," Applejack said looking at her hooves wich were covered in mud. Fluttershy screamed, but is wasn't because of the mud. "It's just mud," Applejack told her as she walked into a nearby tree. She saw it had a scary looking face for some reason and she let a yelp out and jumped back. The group then looked around and saw that all the trees had scary faces. They panicked and started to run in every direction, except for Cerilio and Pinkie Pie.

"What happened to all that bravery you guys had?" Cerilio asked, while Pinkie was laughing at the trees and making funny to them. This made the pancking ponies to stop screaming and looked in her direction.

"Pinkie what are you doing?! Run!"

"Oh girls don't you see?"

When I was a little filly and the sun was going down

"Is, is she, singing?" Cerilio asked in utter disbelief.

The darkness and the shadows, they would always make me frown

"She is," Rarity confirmed as Pinkie was hopping around and continue singing.

I'd hide under my pillow
From what I thought I saw
But Granny Pie said that wasn't the way
To deal with fears at all

"Then what is?" Rainbow asked and Pinkie hop over next to her.

She said: "Pinkie, you gotta stand up tall
Learn to face your fears
You’ll see that they can’t hurt you
Just laugh to make them disappear."

Ha! Ha! Ha!

In response of her laughter, the scary faces vanished, leaving just a normal tree. Everypony gasped and Cerilio eyes went wide. Just how did she know?

So, giggle at the ghostly
Guffaw at the grossly
Crack up at the creepy
Whoop it up with the weepy
Chortle at the kooky
Snortle at the spooky

As she sang the group started to laugh, even Cerilio, and in doing so the faces of the trees began to disappear one by one.

And tell that big dumb scary face to take a hike and leave you alone and if he thinks he can scare you then he's got another thing coming and the very idea of such a thing just makes you wanna... hahahaha... heh...

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuugh!

At once, all the remaing scary faces disappeared and everypony fell on their back and laughed. Cerilio was holding on to his lance and aslo laughing. After a moment they got up and continue on thier way, still laughing and Pinkie hopping infornt of them. Cerilio stopped laughing but he still had a smile on his face.

These ponies are having an affect me

It wasn't long before the group came against another obstacle. Infront of them was a river so trubelent, it made crossing it impossible. "How are we gonna cross this?" Pinkie asked. Before any suggestion can be made, they heard a someone sobbing in the distance. Heading to where the sobbing was coming form the group found a huge serpent like creature. The creater was unintentionally causing the river to be trubelent.

"What a world, what a world?!" he cried out loud.

"Excuse me, sir. Why are you crying?" Twilight asked him.

"Well, I don't know. I was just sitting here, minding my own business, when this tacky little cloud of purple smoke just whisked past me and tore half of my beloved mustache clean off," he explained and pointed at the what was left of the cut mustache. "and now I look simply horrid." he finished with over dramatic fall into the river and soaking the entire group in the process. Cerilio facepalmed. He couldn't believe that all that crying was about a mustache.

"Really?" he questioned

"Oh, give a break," Rainbow added.

"That's what the all the fuss is about?" Applejack aslo added.

Why, of course it is. How can you be so insensitive? Oh, just look at him. Such lovely luminescent scales" Rarity said, as she walked toward and try to cheer him up.

"I know!" He replied with a sniff.

"And your expertly coiffed mane" Rarity pointed at his mane.

"Oh, I know, I know" He ran his hand through it.

"Your fabulous manicure!"

he gasped "It's so true" he aslmots squeled.

"All ruined without your beautifull mustache," Rarity concluded.

"It's true! I'm hideous!" he wept while hiding his face behind his arms.

"I simply cannot let such a crime against fabulosity go uncorrected!" Rarity said as if she was swearing an oath. With that she looked at Cerilio and pulled his silver sword out with her magic, which caught him completely by suprise. "Hey! What the?!" he shouted, but was ignored.

"Rarity what are you－" Twilight tried to asked but never finished as she and the other saw her slit the sword through the air. This cause everyone to gasped and the serpent to fainted because Rarity slit her own tail off! She then drop the sword and picked the cut tail up with her magic and levitated it to the serpent before attaching it to where the mustache used to be. This made the serpent cheer with joy.

"Oh-hohohoho! My mustache. How wonderful" he excitedly rejoiced.

"You look smashing," Rarity complimented. Another fashon crime corrected.

"Oh Rarity, your beautiful tail," Twilight looked at her tail with worry. It was much shorter now, but Rarity didn't let it bother her. "It's fine my dear. Short tails are in this season. Besides, it'll grow back," she assured her.

"So would the mustache," Rainbow whisper to Twilight. Cerilio went and grab his sword before giving Rarity a stern look. "Rarity, never, EVER, grab my sword like that again! A silver sword is not something you can just use with no proper training. This time I'll let it slide since you just used to cut your tail of, but you still could of hurt yourself! Next time just ask me, understood?" he said in his commanding voice. Rarity smiles sheepishly. "Heh heh, sorry about that dear." Cerilio let's a out sigh and sheated his sword before heading to the river which calm down and was crossable.

"We can cross now! Let's go!," Twilight excitedly said and began to cross before the serpent lifted her out of the water. "Allow me!" he said and made a brige with his body for them to cross. They hopped and crossed. "Thank you!" Cerilio told the serpent.

They continue to walked and they were in high spirits. So far every obstacle they came across, they manage to overcome it and in doing so they were closing in on their destination. After a short moment of walking, Cerilio was first to see the ruin of a castle. "I see ruins of a castle up ahead!" he said. Twilight was the next to see it as well. "There it is! The ruins that hold the Elements of Harmony. We made it!" She then bolted her way towards it leaving the rest of the group behind.

"Twilight! Wait for us!" Applejack shouted to her and the group ran after her. "Where almost there," Twilight said before she fell forwards. In her rush to get to the ruins, she didn't notice that the bridge was out. She's hanging on, struggling to get herself back up. Cerilio grabed her by the tail and pulled her back. "I think you have a thing for cliffs."

They looked at chasm that separating them and their destination. "Now what?! Pinkie asked.

"Duh." Rainbow flapped her wings to make her point clear then flew to the other side. The rest waited. And waited. And waited. "She sure is taking her sweet time," Cerilio commented. Twilight was also growing inpantient and walked over the edge. "Rainbow! What taking so long?" she yelled across the chasm. When the fog began to clear and there stood rainbow with three pegasus dressed in purple and black flight suits, with lightning yellow borders.

"Oh no, Rainbow!" Twilight shouted, getting the attention of the one in the middle who's eyes flashed and the fog became denser. "Don't listen to them!" Twilight shouted. Cerilio threw two winds into the fog but it did nothing to it. He was about throw more but stopped as Rainbow Dash came flying to them, the bridge behind her fixed. The group began to cheer and cross the chasm.

"Good job Rainbow," Twilight told her.

"See? I never leave my friends hanging," came the reply from the cyan mare. Cerilio smiled at her to which she smiled back.

They enter the ruins and looked around them. The place looked like it had seen better days. In the center stood a great monument that held up five stone spheres, each carved with a different shape.

"Are those...?" Crilio said.

"Come on, Twilight," Applejack invited, "isn’t this what you’ve been waitin’ for?"

"The Elements of Harmony! We found them!" she cheered. Rainbow and Fluttershy flew and brought the Elements the them. "Carefull, carefull..."

"I only see five," Cerilio told them.

"One, two , three , four.... uh huh, only five are here." Pinkie confirmed.

"Where's the sixth?" Rainbow asked.

"The book said, when the five are present, a spark will cause the sixth Element to be revealed" Twilight retold them what was in the book.

"What the hay is that supposed to mean?" Applejack asked.

"I'm not sure, but I have an idea. Stand back. I don't know what will happen" Twilight said, as her horn began to glow and she began to concentrate. "Come on now, y'all. She needs to concentrate" Applejack said and the five went to leave. Applejack looked at Cerilio

"I'll stay with her, somebody has to gaurd her. Don't worry I won't distract her," Cerilio told her. She nods and went with back to the group. As Twilight was focusing, Cerilio notice a dark blue mist float towards the elements. It then turned into a twister, sending the elements in the air. Twilight and Cerilio stood there unsure what to do for a moment.

"The elements!" Twilight shouted and jump into the tornado.

"Twilight hold on!" Cerilio quicly went to grab her but both of them and the tornado disappear, teleporting them to another place within the ruins. They both coughed from the dust that came after they were teleported. As they got up and looked where they where, they saw Nightmare Moon infront of them with the elements hovering aroun her as she let out a sinister chuckle.

"Well well well, looked who it is," she said, looking at both of them with an evil smirk on her face. "Did you really thought that I would simply let you get your hooves on the things that can stop me achieving my eternal night?" She laughed. Cerilio took his fighting stance and ready his lance.

"Twilight, get the Elements while I battle her," he muttered to her, then brought his atention back to Nightmare Moon. "And didn't I told you, you had to go trough me?" he said to alicorn.

"You may have caught me off guard the first time, but this time don't expect to be so lucky," she told him and both eyed each other for a moment as she again made a sword of magic. Then they charge at each other, before they clashed. Nightmare was the first to strike but Cerilio parried it before taking his own swing at her. Nightmare moved out of the way, spining aroun him and swing her sword at him. Cerilio jumped away casting Nosferatu at her. it did little damage but it gave him some needed energy to continue fighting.

As the battle rage, Twilight made her way towards the elements, making sure that Nightmare didn't notice her. She tried again to ignite the so called 'spark', but was having a hard time concetrating with ongoing fight.

Meanwhile, the Fight between the alicorn and the holy knight continue. Nightmare tried the same tactic she used to disarm Cerilio and agian he was disarmed, but before she could blast him with magic he warp out of the way. When he reappered he grab his Levin sword and raised it in the air. This caused lighting that came out of nowhere to stike Nightmare, sending to the wall. He warp to Twilight to see how the progess with the elements was going.

"Twilight, how much longer?"

"Almost.....there......"

Nightmare meanwhile recovered form the lighting blast the Cerilio struck her with. She teleported to them right when she was able to ignite a spark. Said spark however struke her and she was flung back, but the elements were glowing.

"No! No!" Nightmare Moon said with fear. Twilight let a smirk came on her face but it was to early to celebrate. The elemets stopped glowing, making twilight gasped. "But, where is the sixth element?!" Twilight began to panic. Nightare started to laugh and raised her hooves in the air and slaming them in to the ground, shattering the elements into pieces. Both Cerilio and Twilight looked horrified at what happended. But that didn't stop Cerilio from wanting to continue the fight, his honor dictated that he fight to his last breath to protect the inocent of this world. But before he could even take his fighting stance, Nightmare Moon blasted him with magic sending him flying a few feet away.

"You pathetic foals, thinking you could defeat me?" she mocked. Cerilio got up on his knees, Holding on his Levin sword. "Now you will never see your princess, or your sun! The night will last forever!" Nightmare Moon finished with an evil laugh.

(Stop Music)

"No!" Cerilio finaly stood up. "I refuse to give up!" He looked at Nighmare Moon. "As long as I draw breath, I will not stop fighting! Even tho I just met these ponies the have become dear to me, and I will not see them perish because of you. SO BRING IT ON!

"Then you will die braver then most," Nightmare Moon told him.

Cerilio's speech thouch Twilight very much and started to have some hope. As Cerilio was ready to make his last stand, both he and Twilight heard the voices of the five ponies who accompenied her all the way hear. When she heard them, a spark ignited within her and she turn her gaze towards Nightmare Moon.

"You think you can destroy The Elements of Harmony just like that? Well, you're wrong. Because the spirits of The Elements of Harmony, are right here!" She shouted, as she was joined by Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie.

The shards of the the of the shattered elements began to float and went over to the ponies. This suprised Nightmare Moon. "What?" she became scared as this happened.

"Applejack, who reassured me when I was in doubt, represents the spirit of Honesty!" Some of the shrads went around Applejack.

"Fluttershy, who tamed the manticore with her compassion when Cerilio's brute force didn't defeat him, represents the spirit of Kindness!" Some of the shrads went around Fluttershy.

"Pinkie Pie, who banished fear by giggling in the face of danger, represents the spirit of Laughter!" Some of the shards went around Pinkie Pie.

"Rarity, who calmed a sorrowful serpent with a meaningful gift represents the spirit of Generosity!" Some of the shrads went around Rarity.

"And Rainbow Dash, who could not abandon her friends for her own heart's desire represents the spirit of loyalty!" You get the idea by now.

"You still don't have the sixth Element! The spark didn't work!" Nightmare Moon said, still hoping that she will win.

“But it did… a different kind of spark!” Twilight corrected as she faced the others, smiling at them all as they smiled at her.
“I felt it the very moment I realized how happy I was to hear you, to see you, how much I cared about you.” She then looked at Cerilio. "And Cerilio, his determination to keep fighting for us, to never give up, even tho he barely knew us, his action helped me understand something. That all of you, are my friends!" Cerilio's armor began to shine brightly. Twilight looked back at Nightmare Moon.

"You see, Nightmare Moon, when those Elements and their action, includings Cerilio's, are ignited by the... the spark, that resides in the heart of us all, it creates the sixth element: the element of Magic!" She said as a magic aura engulfed her and all her friends and the shards formed into necklaces around their necks while the Element of magic became a crown. Cerilio's armor shined even more brighter and he felt his strength and magic get a huge boost. He began to charged his most powerfull Abraxas he ever casted. The pones started to move closer together and then unleahsed massive rainbow beamed from them and towards Nightmare Moon. Cerilio then cast his spell and a heavenly light came down .

"NOOOOOOO!" Nightmare Moon shouted as the rainbow beam surrounded her and the Abraxas came down upon her creating a massive flash.

"Ugh, my head," Rainbow groaned as she stood up, a bit dizy. The others aslo began to stand up.

"Everypony okay," Applejack asked.

"Oh, thank goodness" Rarity said, looking at her tail which was restored.

"Why Rarity, it's so lovely" Fluttershy said.

"I know, I'll never part with it again!" Rarity replied.

"No. Your necklace. It looks just like your cutie mark!" Fluttershy pointed at the necklace around her neck.

"What?" Rarity looked at it, the at her cutie mark at it confirm what Fluttershy told her. She notice that Fluttershy aslo had a necklace with her cutie mark on it and pointed this out to her. "So does yours." Soon, everypony began to admire their necklace. Except Twilight who had a crown. Then the ponies heard a groan and looked in it's direction. It was Cerilio and he was getting up.

"Did we win?" He asked but didn't get a response. The ponies were staring at jis armor. "Uh, is something wrong?"

"Dude, look at your armor," Rainbow told him.

"Yeah! it has a wierd symbol on it," Pinkie pointed. Cerilio took a look at his armor. It looked like it was brand knew, all polish and shiny and his the tear on the cape was gone. But what he saw on his chest plate is what surprised and confused him.

But before he could say anything, Applejack jumped infornt of him. "Gee, Twilight! I thought you were just spoutin' a lot of hooey, but I reckon we really do represent the elements of friendship," she said to Twilight.

"Indeed you do," a voice spoke and the sun began to rise. Then a orb of light began to take form and decended toward the group, letting out a bright shine. Out of it Cerilio saw a much bigger pony with wings and a horn. The ponies bowed.

This must be the princess he thought before he bowed down.

"Princess Celestia!" Twilight said, relief to see her mentor safe and she went to her and they embraced each other.

"Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student. I knew you could do it" Celestia said happily.

"But, you told me it was all an old pony tale" Twilight asked, confused to why she said she could do it.

"I told you that you needed to make some friends, nothing more. I saw the signs of Nightmare Moon's return, and I knew it was you who had the magic inside to defeat her, but you could not unleash it until you let true friendship into your heart. But it looks like another source came to help aswell," She said and looked at Cerilio. "You may rise young knight." Cerilio rose and stood at atention.

"What is your name?" Celestia asked him.

"My is Cerilio your majesty and I'm just a simple holy knight."

"Where are you from and how did you make your way here?"

"I come from a world named Fodland. Someone named Sothis was the one who sent me here and told me that this world needed me. I was goining to see if I could ask you your majesty, if you could know something."

"Well Cerilio, your assistance is greatly appreciated and I thank you. As for your question, I don't know this Sothis, but I think your presence here may change things for the better," She told him and he nods. Celestia then looked where Nightmare Moon was, there was a smaller alicorn with light blue caot, and she went to her. "Princess Luna!"

Luna let out a gasp as she came closer, but Celestia simply stayed calm and spoke softly. "It has been a thousand years since I have seen you like this," she knelt down, "Time to put our differences behind us. We were meant to rule together, little sister."

"Sister?" Rainbow and Twilight asked in shock. Celestia stood up, still looking at her sister. "Will you accept my friendship?" she asked her. Luna didn't response for a moment beofre she sprung into her sister embarce. '"I'm so sorry! I missed you so much, big sister!" came her reply and both of them had tears in their eyes. "I missed you too," Celestia said.

Then they heard Pinkie sobbing loudly before stopping all of a sudden. "Hey, you know what this calls for?"

"What?" Cerilio asked

"A party!"

"Ofcourse you would say that," Cerilio muttered.

They were now back in Ponyville were ponies all over came to celebrate the return of princess Luna. They stood to the sides as both of them came in a carriage and the crowd cheered. Two pegasus fillies gave her a necklace of flower. Everypony was enjoying the moment. All but Twilight who had a sad face.

This did not go unnotice by the princess. "Why so glum, my faithful student? Are you not happy that your quest is complete and you can return to your studies in Canterlot?" She asked her.

"That's just it" Twilight responded, turning to look at her friends as they looked at sad at her. "Just when I learned how wonderful it is to have friends, I have to leave them" She said, still having a sad look on her face.

Celestia simply smiled. "Spike, take a note please," Spike quickly took out a quill and paper. "I, Princess Celestia, hereby decree that the unicorn Twilight Sparkle shall take on a new mission for Equestria. She must continue to study the magic of friendship. She must report to me her findings from her new home, in Ponyville." She paused and looked at Cerilio. "And as she continue to her studies, she and the Elements of Harmony will be guarded by Cerilio, Equestria's first holy knight."

The reaction was immediately. Twilight aswell as her new friends started to cheer. "Oh thank you, Princess Celestia! I'll study harder than ever before!" Twilight said happily,

"Princess, I'll protect these ponies with my life. I swear on the double headed eagle of Adrestia and on my honor as a holy knight," Cerilio said with complete determination, and with a smile. His declarition was met with cheers aswell, even tho they didn't understand the 'double headed eagle of Adrestia' part. They all grouped hugged. Cerilio was looking forward to his knew home and new mission.

In a dark void, Sothis was sitting on a stone throne and was smilling.

"His presence will change things indeed princess. For better and for worse," she said before taking a more serious look. "Be strong holy knight, the path ahead is fiiled with challenges. But do not let this ruin your chance at a new life. Be safe."
