Buck it! Let's give Midnight all the magic!

I mean, magic crazy is Midnight's character. Why wouldn't she take all the magic? It only took writing some fanfictions, many fanfiction drafts and one fanfic of her to realize it.

"But the magic is what I really want to see." Sunset and Spike tries to stop Twilight from unleashing the magic. They can't close the distance in time. Cinch really thought the magic will help her win the games. "Unleash the magic. Free the magic. Unleash the magic. Free the magic now!" Twilights' pendant has opened.

The small orb appeared from the pendant and "electrically" explodes in light rays, knocking down Spike and Wondercolts and Shadowbolts. The sphere of magic appears where the orb once appeared. It starts sapping magic out of the Wondercolts, making them feel the pain of being sapped again. It rises and Twilight with it. Her pendant falls to the ground. The sphere's volume slowly expands, as if the Wondercolts's magic is inflating it like a balloon as a tradeoff from being consumed by it. The fallen pendant locked on to the Wondercolts, all six of them. It "calls" on magic from above. The magic from above enters the six Wondercolts until its stream from above ended. Magic from Wondercolts's heads enter the pendent and rises it to the same height above the ground as the expanding sphere, speaking in their centers of volume. The sphere has been getting bigger and bigger in the meantime, already swallowing Twilight from her hands first. She looks at Cinch and Shadowbolts, her principal and her teammates. Her eyes and face are filled in fear of what will happen. And who can blame her when everyone else's faces and eyes are filled in said fear.

"Heeelp… MEEEE!" Twilight cries out desperately. Her eyes cry too. She pulled her arm out of the sphere, begging a helping hand to pull her out. But it's not her teammates who will help her. Not even the "opposing" team will help her. Not even Spike will help her, as much as he's sad about that fact, and he's her best friend. Oh no. It is her pendent who decided to at least try to help her, the very thing that made her cry for help in the first place. It comes to her hand as if the force is with her. How unexpected. It's so unexpected, Twilight didn't expect it. So instead of instinctively reaching for it, she instinctively let it hit her hand. It bounced off her hand and falls to the ground. But before it hits the ground, a suspiciously similar explosion of light rays comes out of the pendent. The suspiciously similar sphere of magic comes from the source of the explosion. The suspiciously similar sphere of magic is the helping hand that now pulls Twilight out of the sphere, the same way the sphere is pulling her in. Magic from above enters the Wondercolts's heads, while magic from the Wondercolts's heads enters the suspiciously similar sphere. As that magic feeds the new sphere, it grows to match the volume of the sphere. It rises to match the elevation of the sphere. The new sphere consumed Twilight's once freed arm as much as the sphere consumed her other arm.

Twilight screams in great pain as both spheres consume her and magic. Both spheres end up consuming each other in the process, combining into one gigantic sphere of magic. This stopped the two spheres from draining magic out of the Wondercolts. They finally managed to stand. The giant sphere remains until Twilight is changed inside it. When it vanished, Midnight Sparkle takes its place. As everyone reacts to her appearance, she lets out a loud laughter. "You were right! I didn't understand magic before! But I do now!" Midnight unleashes a beam of magic at the Wondercolt statue. Having finally figured out what pieces of stone can do when said pieces are propelled by a force rivaling ten times the force of a magic sphere explosion, Sunset and her friends shield themselves with their arms. They lowered their arms when the quick explosion ended. A portal opened. "Equestria!" Sunset gasped. From there, portals and dimensional cracks and the ensuing chaotic panic happens before the apparent paralyzation of Wondercolts and Shadowbolts. Sunny Flare notice Principal Cinch sneakily walking away. This made Sunny angry. “Hey! Where are you going!?” she asked Cinch, angrily. “Anywhere to avoid that... monster!” principal Cinch dramatically exclaimed to Sunny. This made surprise replace Sunny Flare's anger. “And I suggest you do the same!” That did not help the Shadowbolts break out of their dilemma.

"Twilight!" said Sunset. She has Midnight's attention. "You can't do this!" "Why not?!" asked Midnight. "There's a whole other world out there, and it's just filled with magic!" Midnight fires another beam of magic making another tear. "But you're destroying this world to get it!" Sunset tells Midnight. "So what? There's more magic there. And I want to understand it all!" said Midnight. She fires a great beam of magic at Sunset. Sunset leaped out of the way, only to find herself sliding on the ground. She obtained Twilight's pendent. Shadowbolts decided to help Sunset's friends and other students. The pendent locked on to Sunset's friends. She has her moment of realization before she faces Midnight Sparkle. "This isn't the way! I know you feel powerful right now, like you can have everything you want! I've been where you are! I've made the same mistake you're making! I put on a crown and just like you I was overwhelmed by the magic it contained! I thought it could get me everything I wanted!" said Sunset. "Oh you're wrong! Unlike you, I can have everything I want!" said Midnight. "No you can't! Even with all that magic and power, you'll still be alone! True magic comes from Honesty! Loyalty! Laughter! Generosity! Kindness!" said Sunset.

With Twilight's pendent, Sunset "calls" on the magic from above. The magic from above enters Sunset's friends until its stream from above ended. Magic from the heads of Sunset's friends enter the pendent and rises her with it. This is how Sunset uses her friend's magic. "I understand you Twilight! And I want to show you the most important magic of all!" Sunset closes Twilight's pendent and throws it down to the ground. But before it hits the ground, another suspiciously similar explosion of light rays comes out of the pendent. The second suspiciously similar sphere of magic comes from the source of the explosion. The newer sphere balloons rapidly, consuming Sunset from her feet first. And she embraces it. The third sphere remains until Sunset is changed inside it. When it vanished, Daydream Shimmer takes its place and says "The magic of friendship!"

Daydream's friends are happy for her. She closed all the portals with her magic. But Midnight didn't even budge, as she says "Oh, well since you have shown me the most important magic of all, I guess I'll just have it all!" And just like that, Midnight saps all magic from Equestrian the same way Twilight's pendant sapped the magic of Sunset and her friends. This reopened the portals. Daydream's magic and her friends' magic are also being sapped by Midnight. Despite this, she closed all the portals with her magic just as easily as before as if being sapped does not slow her down. But magic is still sapping out of Equestria as if closing the portals does not do anything to the flow from Equestria to Midnight Sparkle. Midnight orb-charges at Daydream. Daydream orb-charges at Midnight to buy herself time with the explosive knockback of the collision. She tries to cut the magic flow directly, only to be sapped by the flow. In fact, all of Daydream's attempts at doing anything to the flow are in the same fate. And Midnight was not just sapping magic from Equestria and this world. She saps magic from everywhere. Midnight and Daydream fire their intense beams of magic.

The beams collide, and struggle to push through. Daydream's beam was about to hit Midnight, but Midnight's beam pushes it away. Midnight laughs as her beam is about to hit Daydream. Daydream braces for impact. Spike leaps out of Fluttershy's arms and says "Twilight!". His puppy eyes got Twilight's attention. Her eyes have returned. "Spike?" she said. Daydream took the opportunity, and her beam push Midnight's beam out of its way. Midnight's eyes returned, her attention back on the beam power struggle. She would've screamed over her impending defeat, but it was too late. The magic overwhelmed her. Instead she instinctively absorbs Daydream's magic beam. The beam is eventually no longer being fired due to Daydream's exhaustion from firing her beam too long. There is no change to the flow. Now Midnight lets out a real evil laughter.

"What's going on?!" Daydream asked in her confusion. "Have I ever told you everything I want?!" Midnight asked Daydream in response. "This isn't the way to everything you want! This isn't you! The magic your pendent contained took over you! Don't you see that Twilight?!" said Daydream. "Magic is everything I want! Far less than everything you want! You want much more than friends, magic, power, and ruling over all existence! And even everything you want is nowhere near enough for you! The magic of friendship, I want it and all the rest of magic!" Midnight tells Daydream. Daydream's beam is fired in response. It hit's Midnight, because she let it happen, only for the beam to be absorbed. The beam is much more intense than last time. Midnight screamed, but never looked away from it. In fact, she flies through the beam until she's in arm's reach of Daydream. She grabbed Daydream's hands and dragged them to Midnight's heart. Daydream is close enough to see something missing from Midnight, her pupils. Daydream finally realizes what's going on: Midnight is now no different from one of Sunset's zombies from her past. "This... isn't how you're supposed to be defeated!" said Daydream. Then Midnight screamed something: "More! Give me MORE!".
