> Chapter 1: Sunlight, In a world of heroes

Sunlight opened his eyes, awoke by his pet, who was pecking on his head.

“Hi, Cinder, he said. Good morning! Wait, aren’t you supposed to be with Fluttershy’s?”

He got up and looked around him. He noticed he was not in his chamber anymore.

“Wait, why i am doing here? What is that place?” he asked out loud.

He saw Sunset Shimmer, also lying on the ground at 10 meters of him.

“Sunset!!! He said, running in his direction. Sister!! Wake up!!”

She opened her eyes and saw Sunlight's face.

“Sunlight? Wait, what are you doing in my room?!” she shouted, surprised.

She then realized she was not in her room anymore when she looked around her.

“What the hell, she said. Can you explain me why i am in the middle of a place i don’t know!!?”

Sunlight helped her to get up then explained he had no idea of where they were. They also noticed their skin color were different, a sort of beige and their body appearance was different. Sunlight had gained more muscles and was taller, he was looking like an athlete. On her side, Sunset saw that her body was skinnier, taller, but that her ass and breast had got thicker and bigger. If Sunlight was satisfied by his new appearance, Sunset was not and was complaining about being too attractive and looking like a mannequin. But they quickly changed of subject.

“So, you are not the one who did that, said Sunset. First is to find where we are!”

They started to walk side by side. In their way, they saw many signs with names of towns they never heard of.

“Metropolis, said Sunset, reading a sign in front of her. That must be a town and that mean only one thing...”

“...We could have been teleported in another dimension, said Sunlight, finishing her phrase. I propose we head to this town to get some answers”

“Good idea, but on foot, that will be a long way” she said.

“Who told you we were going to walk? He said.

“What do you mean?” she asked.

Sunlight checked if he had on his neck the Phoenix Talisman and luckily, he was still having it. He took Sunset in his arm and activated the relic. Bird-like wings appeared on his back.

“Why don’t using these wings instead of your rocket boots?” she asked.

“Rocket boots are not made for such a long distance and also, i doubt they can support both of us” he answered.

They took flight and at almost 1 kilometer of the city, Sunlight landed on the ground and removed the magic wings. They walked for a good 30 minutes and arrived at the entrance of the town.

“Wow, this is amazing!! Said Sunlight when he see the buildings. Never saw something so advanced!”

“So, what is the plan?” asked Sunset.

Sunlight didn't answered to her question. He was distracted by a fight in the sky. On all the televisions screens, a reporter was filming a fight between 2 people. Sunlight suddenly smiled when he realized that could be a superhero vs supervillain battle.

“There is a superhero fighting a bad guy!! He said, excited. Do you realize what that mean?”

“No..., What does that mean?” she said.

“We have been teleported in a sort of superhero universe!! He said to her. Finally my biggest dream came true!!”

On the screens, Sunlight saw the name of the two persons fighting. The man with the blue costume and the red cape was called Superman and was seeming to be the good guy. The guy in a robotic suit Superman was fighting was named Lex Luthor and was probably the bad guy. Sunlight removed his clothes and revealed his costume under them. He put his mask on and used his rocket boots to leave the ground. He came closer of the battle scene to have a better view and saw that the man with the hi-tech suit was gaining on the other man with the cape.

”Oh no!! He is going to loose!” thought Sunlight when he see Superman throw against a building

Sunset used her geode to make appear her new superhero costume, which included with a mask, and flew in direction of Sunlight.

”What are you doing here? She told him mentally. This is too dangerous to stay close of them!!”

”How did you joined me?” he asked to her.

”The geode give me the flight ability when activated, like with your talisman, she answered. Come on, let’s get out of there!!”

Sunlight saw Lex Luthor having the advantage against Superman. Without even thinking, he activated his boots and flew in direction of the evildoer.

“Sunlight!! Said Sunset. No!!”

“You lost, Superman, said the madman to him. The energy bubble i used to trap you was made of Cryptonite, he said, it is alimented by a reactor inside my armor, do you like it? And now that you are at my mercy, i will finish you once and for all!!”

“Double Blast!!!” yelled Sunlight, throwing two rays of fire at Lex Luthor with his hands.

“What? Who!?” he said.

He was stroke by the attack and sent against a building.

“Wow, i can’t believe i actually attacked a supervillain!!! So awesome!!!” he said, excited.

Lex Luthor flew in his direction and grabbed Sunlight by the neck.

“You will pay for that, fool, he said to him. No one attack me without...”

“Cinder, Attack!!” yelled Sunlight.

She covered herself with fire and stroke Lex Luthor in his face, making him release Sunlight.

“Thank you, Cinder” he said to her.

“Enough, said Luthor. Do you think you have a chance to beat me?”

“Do you want me to answer this question?” answered Sunlight.

Luthor was paralyzed by something entering his mind. Sunset joined the fight and was immobilizing the villain with her psychics powers. But Luthor was resisting and blocking her powers

“He have a really tough mind, she said to Sunlight. I won’t hold him much longer!!”

Luckily, Superman had recovered his energy and destroyed Lex’s armor reactor. Sunset stopped using her mind control due to fatigue.

“My armor, no!! Damn you, Superman!!” said Lex Luthor.

“This is over” said Superman, ripping off the man from the rest of his armor.

He delivered Luthor to the police and returned to look for the two young heroes who helped him.

“You two were courageous, he said. I let my guard down against him and he tricked me. Are you superheroes too?”

“Well, Yeah, answered Sunlight. My sister and me always wanted to be superheroes and today, we decided to realize that dream!”

“Well, thank you for your help, he said. I owe you one for saving me”

“You did all the job, said Sunset. We just well, distracted him...”

“Don't be so modest, he said. Beside, You two should come with me, I have to present you someone”

The two heroes followed Superman to the H.Q of the Justice league.

“Wow, you even have a H.Q!!” said Sunlight.

“This is the main Headquarter of the Justice league, said Superman. We also have another one in space. The Justice League are composed of a team of the most powerful heroes of this planet. Our League protect the Earth”

“So, If you are so many in this league, why nobody came help you?” asked Sunset to Superman.

“They all have their own enemies to fight and own problems to solve, he answered. But when the menace is too big for one of us to handle, this is when the Justice League assemble!”

Someone suddenly arrived from nowhere, with a bat-like black costume.

“I am here, Cla... I mean, Superman, said the man. I was already heading to Metropolis when i saw you were fighting Lex. I saw these two actually rescue you. Who are they?”

He walked in direction of the two siblings. They were slightly intimidated by him.

“You acted courageously today, he said. But attacking Lex Luthor like that was dangerous for two novices like you, he could have killed you.”

“I am not a novice, said Sunlight. And neither is my sister one too. Why did you think we could be novices"

“You are young, answered the man. Which mean you probably don't have a lot of experience on the field. Beside. I am Batman, protector of Gotham, People call me the Dark Knight or the Vengeance in Black or the Shadow of the Night”

“Stop it, Bru...I mean, Batman, said Superman. Beside, i was thinking you would be the best person to train these young heroes to become stronger...”

“So, you want me to train these two kids, uh? He said. I know the perfect place, to the hands of Starfire, they will be well formed.”

He looked at Sunlight's costume

“Hum, said Batman, Your costume is flashy, and it lack of technology. Kinda like Supes one”

"Not everyone need to have gadget on their costume, Bats" said Superman.

“My costume was enhanced with magic, said Sunlight. Why would i need technology when i have magic?”

Sunlight then explained to the two heroes the nature of is powers about fire/heat absorption and control of magic and more especially Fire. Sunset introduced herself as a gifted magician who used psychic abilities in battles. Batman had already wrote that in the bank of files of heroes. (in the intention of being able to counter them if they became villains or mind controlled)

“My superhero name is...Sunblast, said the young man. My real name thought will be a little bit weird for you. My real name is...Sunlight Blaze.”

Batman didn't have a reaction and simply added this to the data bank.

“My name is Sunset Shimmer, she said. My superhero name is...Uh...”

“Her hero name is uh... Solaris” said Sunlight.

Batman then proposed to bring the two in Gotham city.

“I hope you can stand a dark ambiance, said Batman to the two young heroes. Because Gotham is not for everyone. His criminality level his the highest in the world and they happen on a daily basis.”

Sunlight’s phoenix was fast enough to compete with Batman’s Batmobile. Sunlight told to him she was a phoenix and also her loyal pet.

“A phoenix? Said the detective. I thought these creatures where legends. But i have seen magical creatures, godly beings and aliens before, so i am not surprised of seeing a mythological bird.”

“You saw aliens?” asked Sunset.

“Two of my friends are aliens, And you met one of them sooner” he answered.

“Superman is an alien? Said Sunlight. For real?!!”

They finally arrived to Gotham, who was like Batman described it: Dark.

“The contrast is so...Huge, said Sunset. Metropolis was radiating of light and happiness, but Gotham radiate of darkness and sadness. I can feel the fear, despair and hopelessness of its population.”

“Me too i can feel that, and i don’t even have psychics powers” said Sunlight.

Batman told the two siblings to put on headbands in front of their eyes.

“I am sorry to ask you that, said Batman. But i have to take that precaution, this is not personal.”

The two heroes didn't asked questions. They finally felt the car stop. Then Batman took off their headbands.

“You can keep your masks if you want, he said. This place is sure, i present you the Batcave.”

Sunset removed hers, but not Sunlight. A old man arrived, dressed like a butler.

“Master is back, said the old man. And he brought with him two guest. I present myself: I am Alfred, the personal butler of Mr.Batman.”

“He is more than that, said Batman. He is the one who raised me and taught me of to be a Vigilante. He his like a father for me”

“So, to make short, said Sunlight, he his your butler, best friend and tutor. I am wondering who is the real master...”

Alfred had a little smirk.

“I respect Master Batman as much as he respect me, said the butler. But to be honest, without me, that place would look like a real cave! Do you two want something?Don't be shy.”

“Uh, said Sunset. I think i am fine, thank you.”

“I’m fine too” said Sunlight.

“Like you want, said Alfred. Do Master need something? A drink?”

“Not for the moment, Alfred, he answered. I will call you if i need something”

The butler disappeared using an elevator.

“I sent a message to the Titans, said Batman. I told them you will be here in 2 hours. We will take the Batmobile to head to the Titan Tower”

The 3 heroes got inside the car and Batman put on them the sames headbands and removed them once they got outside the cave. They were rolling for a long time when they saw a tower in form of t at the horizon. They knew that was the tower Batman talked about. They finally arrived in front of the building and were greeted by 3 members. The tallest, dressed of light purple, came to welcome Batman and the two other heroes.

“This is the two i talked you about, said Batman. Do you think your team can take care of them?”

“Most of the members of this team are between 14 and 17 years olds. That will be a change to welcome young adults in our team. They are both close of 21, right?”

“Yes, Answered Batman. I sent you two files containing their datas sooner.”

“I already read them, said a young boy. You two look not so bad, but i can’t say the same thing about your names.”

“Be nice, Damian, said the tall woman. My name is Starfire, i am the leader of the Teen Titans, and the young boy here is Damian Wayne aka Red Robin. The other boy on my left is Garfield, aka Beast Boy. The rest of the team is inside the tower, i will present them to you and you to them.”

Batman disappeared without saying anything. Starfire brought the two siblings inside the tower.
> Chapter 2: Sunlight and Sunset meet the Teen Titans

Starfire brought Sunlight and his sister in the living room where the other members of the team were playing video games or reading.

“Everyone, i present you the two new recruits of our team!” she said.

“Hi, everyone, my name is Sunset Shimmer, she said. I know it’s a strange name, but this is mine.”

“Not the strangest i have heard, said a boy wearing a blue armor. Welcome in the team!! My name is Jaime, aka Blue Beetle.”

“Hello, said another girl. My name is Wonder Girl aka Cassandra Sandsmark, but you can also call me Cassie. Nice to meet you”

“The silent girl in the corner is Raven, said Beast Boy. We don’t know her real name. She use dark magic and have a bad, but really bad temper. But what is your name, pal?”

“Sunlight Blaze, he answered. My hero name is Sunblast. And this is my pet, Cinder, she is a phoenix”

“A phoenix? Said Beast Boy. The mythical bird? Where did you find one?!”

“Let’s just say i came from a place full of magic and magic creatures” he answered.

Beast Boy took the form of a phoenix and tried to talk with Cinder

“Hey, beauty, he said. You know you are hot?”

Cinder slapped him with her wings.

“Oh, you have attitude, said Beast Boy, i like it.”

“Please try to make less noise, said Raven. I am trying to read.”

“So, allow us to explain our powers and where we came from, said Starfire. Me, i am an alien from the planet Tamaran, I was exiled and came to earth in order to find a place to live where i soon became the leader of the Teen Titans. And about my powers, I can use green energy to make lasers and explosives blasts. I can also fly and have super strength.”

“I was a normal young boy, said Blue Beetle. Until the day this thing in my back, an alien, connected to my body and gave me this amazing armor. I can use it to shot energy beams, replaces the hands by lames and multiple weapons and many other cool stuff an alien armor can do. I can also fly and the armor itself is almost indestructible.”

“My past have nothing interesting, said Cassie, so i will pass directly to my awesome superpowers. I have the sames power than the Amazons: Flight, super strength, super speed and super fighting abilities.”

“You already know me, said Beast Boy. So instead, i will present Raven. When she was young, her father, Trigon, who is the most evil being of the universe and a conqueror of thousands of worlds, killed her mother and destroyed her homeworld. She ran away to find a safe place and avoid her father, and found it with the Teen Titans. For her powers, she inherited the dark magic powers of her father but she also inherited of her mother’s pure heart and kindness. So she is not really evil.”

“To finish, Starfire told you my name, said Damian. My backstory is very dark: I am the son of Batman, but i was raised by my grandfather Ra’s al Ghul, the leader of an organization called the League of Assassins. Like you can deduce by their name, this league formed me to become one of them, to become an assassin. Then i turned against the league when i discover the truth about my father being Batman. I didn’t want to join him at first, but some dramatics event forced me to join him and then, the Teen Titans. I have no powers, like Batman, but my skills are a thousand time better than an normal grown men.”

Sunlight took the talk.

“I was abandoned as a kid by my parents, he said. A rich family found me, adopted me and raised me like their  son. I discovered one day that i was special, gifted in magic and so, i learned magic at a school. But my parents wanted me to do other things like studying mechanic, sciences, Fashion, how to cook and make martial arts. But then i learned the truth one day that i have been adopted and in the same time, learned about the existence of my sister, the girl who is with me right now. Oh, also, i dreamed since i was young to use my powers to save the world and there i am!! To explain my powers, i can use elemental magic, i can teleport, i can create magic barriers, have healing magic and super healing abilities. But what actually make me special is my ability to absorb any form/source of heat to boost my magic. In the contrary, if i use to much magic or in my case, heat, i will faint of hypothermia, Ice and cold are two of my weaknesses.”

“You absorb fire, uh? Said Starfire. My energy blasts are mostly made of fire and heat”

She shot a laser at Sunlight, who absorb the green energy in his hands. The other titans were amazed, except Damian and Raven.

“Do you have a limit? Said Damian. A limit of absorption?”

“No, i can absorb any amount of heat i want, but i can’t keep it inside me for long, he answered. If i keep too much energy in me for a long time, it will kill me and causing a magic explosion who can, depend of the quantity absorbed, cause a lot of destruction or just made me uncontrollable, going berserk, to make it short.”

“This ability could be useful to the team, said Starfire. Now, Talk about you, Sunset Shimmer”

“Well, she said. To make short, i was also adopted at my birth like my brother, Sunlight. But unlike him, which the path was full of light, mine was just darkness and hatred. That made me doing questionable things and took bad decisions. The result got me banned from my homeland. So, i went full wickedness, rejecting my hate on others and terrorizing them. Then, i put the hand on a powerful magical relic who turned me into a demon. But i was defeated by someone who became my first best friend. After that, i searched redemption and found it, but i never stopped afterwards and still continued to fight bad guys and villains corrupted by powerful magic. Like Sunlight, i possess knowledge of magic but if his power his fire, mine is psychic.”

“So, That conclude the presentations, said Starfire. Now, this is the time to visit your new home, follow me.”

Starfire showed them their rooms and after, showed them the kitchen, the laboratory, the W.C, The living room and finished by the Training room of the tower.

“This is our training chamber, said Starfire. You can use it whenever you want. I heard you know martial art, Sunlight so here you will be able to use it”

She after brought them back to the living room. Suddenly, the tower alarm started to ring.

“This is the emergency alarm, said Robin. That mean a villain or many villains are attacking the town. Like you two are new, you will be come with us on the battlefield.”

“Bad news, everyone! Said Starfire. The city is attacked!! Talia al ghul, Blackfire, Cinderblock, Terra, Cheetah, Jynx, Dr Light and Brotherblood are back!!! Teen Titans, let’s go!!”

Starfire and Wonder Girl used their flight ability to leave the tower, Beast Boy turned into an eagle, Blue Beetle opened his wings, Raven opened a portal which Robin and her used, Sunlight activated his rocket boots and magic wings and Sunset activated used her flight ability. The team soon arrived to face the villains.

“Mother, said Damian, with a arrogant smile. How surprising to see you again, always trying to bring me back in the league of Assassins?”

“Your place is with us, not with them, she answered. I will force you to join me, whether you like it or not”

“Well well, sister, said Blackfire. Guess who’s back!! This time, i will beat you!!!”

“Bring it on, Blackfire!! Answered Starfire. I will beat you once more!”

“Raven, Beast Boy, said Terra. I waited years to have the occasion to take my revenge on you!!”

“You are not a villain, said Beast Boy. You worth better than that!!”

“She chose her side, B.B, said Raven. For me, she is a foe, so let’s fight her!”

“DIE!!!!” yelled Terra.

“Cheetah!! Said Wonder Girl. So, you are not chasing Wonder Woman anymore?”

“She is out of my reach for now, but you, you are not!!!” she said aggressively

“I am not scared of you!” said Cassie.

“Well, hello, Jaime, said Jynx to him. Remember me?”

“Yes, you tried to charm me and force me give you my beetle” he answered.

“This time, i will kill you instead!!” she said.

Sunlight found himself facing Dr. Light and Cinderblock

“So, my opponents today are Bulb Man and Blockhead, he said. Not bad for the first day!”

“Bulb Man? Said Dr. Light. My name is Dr. Light!!”

“Dr. Light? That name suck, said Sunlight. Should i expect you to have some kind of light powers”

Sunset detected Brotherblood trying to take control of her mind. But she resisted and rejected him out of his head.

“So, you are a psychic, he said by telepathy. How interesting!! You have a lot of potential i could help you unlock. But i know you will refuse so i will force you instead!”

The battle was long, difficult and violent. But the Teen Titans were having the advantage. Robin knocked out her mother with a powerful kick in the back of the head, Raven had immobilized Terra, Starfire beat her sister, Wonder Girl had also knocked out cheetah, with the help of Starfire once she had defeated Blackfire. Sunlight had make quick work of Dr. Light by absorbing the his rays, discovering that not only he could absorb heat, but light as well. He used the energy to blast him with a radiant beam. Cinderblock was more difficult and Sunlight had to be helped by Cinder and Blue Beetle, who was helped by Raven to took Jynx down. Sunset was still struggling against Brother Blood and was loosing against him. But the intervention of both Damian, Raven and Sunlight saved her. The police arrived soon after to arrest the criminals and the Titans returned to the tower.

“They were very hard to beat this time!” said Beast Boy.

“But thanks to everyone, said Starfire, we won this battle. You did a great job, Sunblast, you too, Red Light...”

“Bah, said Sunlight. I didn’t do that much.”

“Playing the modest, uh? Said Beast Boy. I saw you beat the crap out of Dr Light. You literally....light him up!!”

Everyone cringed at Beast Boy pun.

“Get it? He said. Dr Light? Fire? Light up?”

“We can rest now, until the next emergency” said Starfire.

Then, the team divided between the girls and the boys. Raven, Cassie, Sunset Shimmer and Starfire in the girls group and Damian, Jaime, Beast Boy and Sunlight in the boys group. Beast Boy was playing video games with Jaime, Raven was reading a book, Starfire was talking by webcam to Dick Grayson, and Cassie and Sunset were talking about their mentors and how they respected them. Damian and Sunlight were in the training room.

“Show me how you fight, he asked to Sunlight. You have this magic suit on you, so i deduce you prefer long-ranged fights rather than hand to hand combat”

“I learned a couple of martial art, he said. But if what you told about you being trained by assassins and Batman is true, then i don’t stand a chance” said Sunlight

“At least, you are smart enough to know when you are disadvantaged” he said.

“But in a magic combat, said the young adult, I would destroy you”

“Maybe, said Damian, maybe not. Let’s just fight. Don’t worry, i will go easy on you!”

“Don’t hold back, he answered. I can take a lot, trust me”

Damian and Sunlight began to fight. Meanwhile, Sunset had defeated both Beast Boy and Blue Beetle to a video games. 

“I won again!!” she said.

“Wow, you are a real beast at video games!” said Beast Boy.

“Well, i have a natural talent for that, said Sunset. Girls are also good at video games!”

“I begin to like her!” said Jaime.

Sunset left the living room and got on the top of the tower. Since she was arrived in this world, she was worried for her friends, who were still at Canterlot, Not knowing where she was and why she left them so suddenly. Raven, surprisingly, join ed her.

“Being teleported in another dimension, like that, is hard” she said to her.

“Did you read my mind?” asked Sunset.

“Yes, a little, but i also felt the sadness in you heart. Also, you told me you became a demon once. I am myself half-demon..., Do you love books?”

“Yes, she answered. Not as much as video games, i will be honest, but i always love reading some good books”

She sighed.

“I wish one day i will see them again” she said

“I am sure you will, said Raven. But for now, you have us”

“And my brother, she said. But still, my friends will miss me”

The two stayed silent, side to side.

Meanwhile, Damian and Sunlight had stopped fighting.  Both were exhausted.

“You defend good, said Damian. You should not underestimate your capacities”

“Same for you, said Sunlight. I never thought a young teenager would be so tough and hard to fight...”

Sunlight left the training room to head in direction of the kitchen. Damian followed him.

“That fight made me hungry” said Sunlight. I am in for Alfredo pastas!”

Soon after he finished to cook, Starfire and Beast Boy joined Damian and him.

“Hum, that smell good” said Beast Boy.

“You are lucky that i made Alfredo pastas for everyone, he said. Serve yourselves!”

Everyone took their plate, even Raven and Sunset, who had just arrived.

“This is delicious, said Starfire. You really have talent for cookingt”

“The best pastas i ate in my life!!” said Beast Boy.

“Like those of my mother” said Jaime.

“They are still better than Alfred’s ones, said Damian. No puns intended”

“I hope Batman didn’t not heard that one, said Raven. Beside, they are really good”

“My brother is the best...said Sunset. The best cook, i mean”

The group continued to eat and talk, like a family, which remembered to Sunset her discussions during the lunchtime at C.H.S with her friends.
> Chapter 3: Sunlight vs Deathstroke.

Two days had passed in the Titan Tower and except for minor criminal alerts, the things had been calm. Sunlight had passed some times training with robin, who taught Sunlight some sword fighting techniques. but also passed time with his sister, which he noticed the strange attitude. He also cooked with Starfire, sparred with Jaime, played video games with Beast Boy and tried to do conversation with Raven, without success. Today, the day was looking calm. Sunlight Blaze used the fight simulator to compare his actual level with high ranked villains like Sinestro, Black Adam, Reverse-Flash, Catwoman, Joker and many more and each time, failed. Robin was looking at him with a mocking smile.

“Don’t aim to high, he said. Unless you are Superman, Green Lantern, Flash or Martian Manhunter, who are very powerful by nature, you won't beat any of these villains at the first encountert.”

“I don’t do that to become stronger faster, he answered. I do that to analyze and study their fighting style and powers”

“Knowing his opponents weaknesses is a good way to take advantage, said Damian. This is a way for weaker heroes to be more useful on the battlefield. Well, if you don’t mind, i want to use the simulator.”

Sunlight let his place to him and walked off the training room. Then he entered in the tech room where he used one of the computers to search in the hero data to find if this world had heroes using magic. He found the names of Dr. Fate, a sorcerer using Esoteric and mystic magic, Zatanna, a expert of magic tricks also using mystical magic, Mr. Miracle, a master of illusions, John Constantine, a talented exorcist mastering demonic magic and mystical magic. And Shazam, who was harnessing the power of the divine lightning, to name a few. He noted their location and searched next for superheroes using like him, fire. He found his match in Firestorm. He walked off the room and headed to his chamber, where he pet his phoenix.

“I am bored, he said. I want bad guys to defeat!!”

Someone knocked at his door.

“Yes, who knock?” asked Sunlight.

“This is your sister, you nitwit!! Said Sunset. Can you open, i need to talk to you”

Sunlight opened the door and let Sunset entered. She sat on his bed and his brother joined her.

“I listen, he said. I noticed you were feeling not well these last 2 days, what is the problem, Sis?”

“I miss my friends for Canterlot, she said. Most of all, they don’t even know where we are and maybe look for us right now. I can’t stop worrying about the possibility they live their lives without me and died.”

Sunlight suddenly thought about what he said the night before him and Sunset were teleported in this world. He wished to live awesome adventure and also wished her sister to be with him. He realized that it was his fault if she was here with him. She never wanted to leave her friends, but because of his selfishness, she was suffering the loss of her friends.

“I am sorry for that, he said. This is my fault if you have been brought here with me. Remember when we woke up in this world for the first time?”

“Yes, but in what this is your fault?” she said.

“The night before, he answered, i was feeling a void in me, a lack of adventure and i wished to live an epic one. But i had a thought for you in the same time at the last moment, i didn’t wanted to abandon you once again because of my desire of battles and adventures, so i wanted you to be to my sides. Then, the next morning, i found myself in this world and you were here too, this is not a coincidence. I should have took in consideration that you had friends and a normal life before i arrived”

“So, this is the reason why i am stuck with you in this world, she said. Well, thank you for telling me. I am not angry at you for that, i am happy to see how much i am important for you, even if we met a few days ago”

“I am not the one who bring us here, he said. But this is my wish who bring us here, i didn’t even asked you about your opinion on it. I was selfish bringing you with me away from your home, and that selfishness caused you to feel sad, i ruined your life...”

Sunset looked at his brother who was feeling guilty and smile.

“This is not selfish to care about his family, she said. Being selfish is caring about only yourself and your needs. In fact, that you are with me in this world make me feel less sad. But if only they could join us in this world...”

“You know they can’t, said Sunlight. They are too vital in the survival of their world. Without them, the world you live in will fall against the forces of evil.”

“You have a point, said Sunset. They can’t leave their world but i don’t want to let you alone here if i have to occasion to return home.”

“I would not be angry at you if you do that, he said. You never asked to come with me...”

“Meh, i certainly would have followed you anyway, she said. My friends would have understood that decision and i could have told them goodbye. Do you miss your friends and your family too?”

“Saying no would be a lie, answered Sunlight. Sure, i miss my friends for the school of Friendship and my parents. I am also worried about the fact of who will pay our rents in our absence? He he he...I think about them often, but unlike you, i can live with the fact they could by dead or gone when i will be back, if you and me come back one day. Being a hero include having to take painful decisions and live with the consequences of them”

Sunlight pulled out of his bags the plushies of the Mane 6 and a lot of photos of her friends, then gave them to Sunset.

“Take them, he said. I know they won’t replace your friends, but at least you will be able to remember them.”

She hugged him and started to cry. Sunlight hold her against him and gently caressed her hairs and shoulders. When she was feeling better, she put the plushies and the photos in her bag.

“Thank you, Sunlight” she said before leaving the room.

“That’s what brothers are for, sister” said Sunlight with a smile.

Then, the evening came and Sunlight had enough to wait for a villain to appear. So when everyone were asleep, he opened a window in his chamber and activated his talisman. He closed the window behind him and flew away from the tower. What he didn’t know was that Damian, on the top of the tower, spotted him.

“So, i am not the only one who love nocturnal exploration, he said. I think i begin to like him. But whatever, i should follow him, just in case...”

Sunlight was flying for 2 hours, but found no trace of villains to arrest. He was at the limits of the city and decided to land on a building. He suddenly saw two mysterious silhouettes on the ground entering in a military hangar. Finding it suspicious, he immediately headed in their direction with the intention to stop them. He produced a wall of flames to cut their ways out. Sunlight looked at the two mans and noticed their military equipment and masks. He deduce they were mercenary or soldiers. One of them looked at his electronic mini pad and showed it to his acolyte. They immediately started to shoot at him, but Sunlight's costume took the bullets. Panicked, the two mercenaries ran in the hangar.

“I love this costume, he said. Now, you two are dead!!”

Sunlight knocked both of them out with a big burst of flames.

“Magic fire can burn anything, idiots, said the hero. These types were mercenaries, but why did they attacked me?”

Sunlight took the electronic device of one of the mercenaries and saw his image on it with a bounty of 10 000 000$ for his head.

“Oh, so i was their target, he said to himself. But who put a bounty on me?”

“Someone who want you dead, of course!” said a voice behind him.

Sunlight turned his head and avoided a knife threw at him.

“Who are you?! He asked. Show yourself, coward, or i reduce you and this whole hangar to ashes!”

“I won’t do that if i were you, said the mysterious voice. This place is full of chemical waste and if you blow it up, well, let’s just say that this part of the city will share the same fate as this hangar...Kaboom. Gone. reduced to ashes”

Sunlight noticed that the voice was right. He was surrounded by radioactive and highly inflammable products.

“And even if you were able to survive, i put 4 hostages in there” continued to say the voice.

“I don’t need my fire magic to beat you!!” said Sunlight.

“Let’s see about that!!” said the voice

Sunlight was kicked on the ground. He got up immediately and saw in front of him a man with an impressive armor, black and orange, with a mask of the same color tones. He had swords, lot of guns and knifes.

“Cool armor, said Sunlight. I love the design of your costume!! Too bad i will have to scratch it. I remember seeing your image on one of the screens of the Batcave. You are the mercenary everyone call Deathstroke...”

“Exact, he said. So, you must know i never fail to claim a bounty. This is not personal, the affairs are the affairs. And don’t even think to escape, i put bombs everywhere, including in all the entrances and exits. They are activated by heat so be careful...And because i have some honor and play fair, i won’t use my guns on you.”

“I don’t care, said Sunlight. My intention was not to run away”

Sunlight ran in direction of the mercenary and tried to punch him. Slade blocked each of his attack and countered with a powerful kick in the guts.

“I didn’t felt anything, said the young hero. You are not the only one to wear a resistant costume”

Sunlight continued to attack the bounty hunter, but each time he delivered a punch or a kick, Deathstroke blocked them and stroke back even harder.

”He is resistant, thought the mercenary. And it seem to know some martial arts techniques, but that won’t be what will save him.”

Slade took his sword and delivered many blows on Sunlight’s costume in order to tore it. Sunlight was trying to keep up with his opponent, but the speed, power and accuracy of the blow soon overtaxed the resistance of his costume. He already had some ribs fractured and legs ligaments sliced. A final hit from the mercenary sent him against a steel pillar.

”He is too powerful for me!! I have no chance to beat him without my magic!! Thought Sunlight. I could use thunder magic but the result would be the same than using fire. This place is full of metal and i could...Wait, this is it!!”

He charged electricity in his hands.

“If hostages are in there, they must be grouped near to explosives products, he thought. This is a risked plan but it can work!!”

“I see you don’t get back on your legs, normal after i cut their ligaments, said the mercenary. You put a decent fight, son, now, Time for me to claim my bounty...Do you have a last request before i kill you?”

“Yes, prepare to be shocked!!!” he said.

“What?” said Slade, realizing too late the hand of his target charged with electricity

Sunlight touched the metal surface behind him. Slade laughed when he saw that nothing happened.

“Did you actually thought i didn’t upgraded my bombs to resist short-circuit? Asked the mercenary. Some idiots used that in the past against me. This last effort was genuine coming of you, but i have no flaws, i am perfect, in every ways.”

”Crap..., thought Sunlight. That was my last option...I am sorry, sister. Guess your brother will die today...”

“Die” said Slade.

The villain is suddenly knocked down by a powerful kick coming from behind him

“Who did that?” asked Slade, getting back.

“One of your worst nightmare” said Damian when he revealed himself.

Then he looked at Sunlight.

“Yes, i followed you, he said. And i did a good choice”

He turned his head in direction of Slade.

“You know the device of the Teen Titans, right? He said. If you attack one of us...”

“...You attack all of us!!” said Beast boy, who arrived with the whole team.

Sunset immediately ran in direction of Sunlight who was agonizing in his blood.

“Sun...Set..., he said. Argh... I...can’t move my...l...legs. I hardly b...Breathe. I t...Think my lungs are...P...Pierced. I am...Sor...Sorry.

“That will be okay, she said, putting a hand on his cheek. I am here, we are all here.”

Slade made a few steps back.

“You forgot i put bombs everywhere!” he said.

“You mean, these bombs? Said Damian, throwing them on the ground. I disabled all of them and in the same time, freed the hostages you made...You have no way to escape, Slade!”

He was surrounded.

“Fine, if i can’t escape, none of you will!!, he said, holding a bomb. This whole place will explode and half of the city with it!”

“No!!” said Damian, while Deathstroke was about to enable the bomb.

But Slade suddenly stopped and Damian used that occasion to disarm him, and Raven, to tie him up with dark magic.

“Thank you, Sunset” said Damian.

“The pleasure was all mine, she answered. He need to pay for what he did to my brother.”

The team helped Sunlight to get up. Cinder arrived from the sky and saw his master injured. She used one of her feathers to heal him. When he was feeling better, he looked at his costume, torn off, then at all his friends.

“I am sorry, everyone, he said. I shouldn’t have leave the tower without preventing you.”

“You are lucky that Damian followed you, said Starfire. This is him who call us when he saw you were in trouble against Deathstroke. This is why i don’t want any members of the Titans leaving the tower at night. We are a team, we fight as a team”

She hugged Sunlight, happy to see him fine. Damian tore off Deathstroke's gauntlet and hack it to find information.

“Deathstroke his a mercenary, he said. If he attacked you, that was because someone put a bounty of 10 millions on him.”

“10 millions? Said Beast Boy. What did he do for that?”

Slade laughed.

“Hum, I can told you the name of my boss” he said, with a smirk.

Damian kicked him in the face.

“If you know something, trashbag, speak!!” he said.

“Lex luthor” he answered.

“Lex?” said Damian.

The police arrived to arrest Slade and put him in a armored van and left. Sunlight explained to the team that him and Sunset attacked Lex Luthor almost 1 day ago, when he was about to kill Superman. Him and his sister saved him by distracting the villain.

“I maybe made a mistake” said Sunlight.

“You acted like any other hero would have acted” said Raven.

“Lex Luthor is a man who don’t like very much to see his plans ruined by heroes, said Starfire. I think we'll have to contact Superman and tell him about that. I am sure your sister is also on his black list.”

“Look at the bright side! Said Beast Boy. You are an official superhero now that a supervillain want you dead!”

Nobody laughed.

“You guys are not funny, he said. Why does nobody like my humor?”

“For the moment, let’s return at the tower, we all need to return to bed, said Starfire. Raven, you open a portal?”

She opened one and the team passed through it. Back in his room, Sunlight was looking at his costume. A few moment after Raven appeared in front of him and she repair the costume with her magic.

“Right like it looked the first time you saw it, she said. I also added some magic upgrades on it, don’t thank me.”

She disappeared in front of Sunlight, who was voiceless but happy to have his costume back. And despite the fact that he got his ass kicked by Slade, he was more determined than ever to be a better hero.
> Chapter 4: Transit

Sunlight and his sister had left the Titan Tower since a couple of day, due to the bounty Luthor put on their head. They were actually in the Hall of Justice, in company of Superman and Cyborg.

“I have good and bad news for you, said Cyborg to the two recruits of the teen titans. The good new is that Lex Luthor is indeed the one who put a bounty on you.”

“And the bad news?” asked Sunset.

“Now, after Deathstroke failure, Lex Luthor raised the bounty to 50 000 000$. Be sure that not only mercenary will be after you with that amount on your head”

“Why i am with him, so?” she asked.

“Your bounty is at 5 000 000$” said Cyborg.

“He hate us that much?” said Sunlight.

“Luthor hate losing, said Superman. He can't accept defeat. Did you knew that the bounties he put on me reached many billions of dollar?”

“Wow, that much?” said Sunset.

“For Lex, said Superman, vengeance doesn’t have a price. He will do anything to get rid of his enemies. I regret i put you two in that situation.”

“I don’t regret it, said Sunlight. I acted like a hero would do and i’ll face the consequences, even if the consequences are a serious bounty on my head. I am afraid he also want to hurt my sister and also Cinder.”

“Your pet? Why?” Asked Cyborg.

“Phoenixes feathers have the power to bring dead peoples back to life or heal any type of wounds. I am pretty sure they would sold for billions on the market and i don’t want it to happen.”

“Indeed, that would be catastrophic if a villain used these feathers for his own gains”

“Plus, the phoenixes are machines of destruction, said Sunlight. Just one of them is enough to reduce a whole city to ashes and they are a unlimited source of fire and heat. This is why i keep him with me.”

“You are kidding, Right? Said Cyborg. Told me your kidding.”

“He isn’t, said a woman. Phoenixes are technically divinities, each of them have more energy in them than a Sun. ”

“Damn, and you have one of them as a pet? Asked Cyborg, surprised. Oh, and hi, Wonder Woman!”

She walked and stopped in front of Sunset.

“I will bring you with me to Themyscira, said the woman. You will be protected from Lex up here”

“Is this that island only populated by women?” she asked.

“Yes, Warriors to be exact” she answered.

She then looked at Sunlight.

“I am sorry if you can’t go with us, said Diana to Sunlight. But only women are authorized on our island. But trust me, we will protect your sister like if she was one of us.”

“I trust you, he said. I know she will be safe with you. But promise me i will be able to speak with her sometimes”

“I promise” said Wonder Woman.

Sunlight gave to Sunset his phoenix Talisman.

“Take my pet and this with you, he said. You'll need them more than i will”

He told to Cinder that his sister will be her new master and ordered her to protect Sunset Shimmer at all costs. Cinder didn’t asked questions and landed on Wonder Woman’s bracelet. Sunset made a last hug to Sunlight.

“Why giving me your phoenix? She asked. This is dangerous for you to live without her!!”

“Your security is all that matter for me, said Sunlight. Plus, i can heal myself with magic, Goodbye, Sister...”

Then Diana brought her and Cinder out of the Hall of Justice.

“What about me, now? Asked Sunlight. Where do i will have to go?”

“I’ll bring you with me to Gotham, said Batman. Luthor will never expect to find you in one of the most dangerous town in the world. But we will have to slightly change your costume...”

“Batman will protect you, said Superman. Even Luthor doesn’t know the location of the Batcave.”

“Damian told me you have some potential, said Bruce. He also told me Deathstroke had to play safe to have a chance against you. I will train you so you can defend yourself if the same situation happened again.”

Sunlight smiled and 2 hours later, he was back in the Batcave. Batman showed him his room and where he could find the kitchen, bathroom and training room. Batman also revealed his true identity to Sunlight. But Sunlight told him he knew that was him from the beginning.

“How?” he asked.

“My mask is not just decoration, he said. It is magic and allow me to see trough any obstacles, secrets or illusions”

“So, i suppose i can trust you” said Batman.

“I imagine this is something you don’t tell to everyone, said Sunlight. Who else know about your identity outside of the Justice League, your family and almost every ally you have?”

“Only 5 villains in the world know my identity, said Batman. Catwoman, Deathstroke, Bane, Red Hood and the Joker”

“Wait, asked Sunlight. So why they didn’t revealed your identity yet?”

“I am billionaire, Sunblast, he answered. I have the means to defend myself if they reveal my identity. So they will probably wait to kill me first before doing it. Talking of it, i have to warn you: Luthor won’t stop to just bounties in order to kill you. He will do the job himself if he had to do so. This is what happened with Superman, aka Clark Kent. Also, allow me to present two friends of me: Flash, Green Arrow, you can show yourselves”

Sunlight saw two men, one in a red costume and the other, in a green one, appeared from the shadows

“I am The Flash, said the speedster. My power is, like my name say, super speed. I am the fastest man on earth! My powers come from the Speed Force, an extradimensional force and source of energy!”

“Mine is Green Arrow, said the other man. Green is the color of my costume and Arrow is because like you can see, i use bow and arrows.”

“These two are two of my best teammates during important missions. Flash is the protector of Central City and Green Arrow is the protector of Starling City. And before you ask, i think he already know your names”

“Really? Said Flash, tell me, Young hero, what are the names of me, Batman and Green Arrow?”

“Bruce Wayne, billionaire playboy and president of Wayne Enterprises, he answered. Your name is Barry Allen and his name is Oliver Queen.”

“How?” asked Flash.

“Magic...!!” said Sunlight with a mysterious voice.

“I forgot you are a magician, said Barry. I read all the information on you and i have to say, you have some cool powers!!”

“But here, in Gotham, said Batman. He will need to use his brain and his physical abilities to defeat villains.”

“Maybe i can make him battle some meta-humans, said Flash. That would be good for him to acquire experience.”

“I can maybe teach him how to use a bow” said Oliver.

“Not a bad idea, Oliver, said Batman. And no, Barry, i am not going to expose him to the world, with that bounty of 50 millions$ on his head.”

“50 millions? Said Flash. Let me guess, Lex Luthor?”

“Yes, And Luthor is a dangerous man, a psychopath and a genius, said Bruce. So count on me he will not let you alone until he got is revenge. He never forgot an enemy. Oliver and I will train Sunlight and you, Flash, well you are here for comic relief”

“Comic Relief? He said. Oh come on!! I can beat Superman in a race and travel through time!! I can at least teach him how to mock his enemies and make good puns”

“Be ready, Sunlight Blaze, said Green Arrow, because you have lot of training waiting for you. When we will be finished with you, you will be a ass-beating machine.”

Meanwhile, at Themyscira, Sunset Shimmer was greet by the Amazons and their queen, Hippolyta. Diana explained her that a man of the name of Lex Luthor, was after her and wanted her head. When she heard that, Hippolyta immediately accepted Sunset and offered her a place to rest.

“This is the Amazons duty to protect any women from the evil hands of mankind, said the queen. She can stay here as long as it’s necessary.”

Diana also presented her the phoenix. Sunset told to the queen it was her pet.

“She is a female, said Sunset. Her ancient master gave her to me.”

“Be sure your pet will be well treated, say Hippolyta. Phoenixes are a symbols of power, of purity, like us!”

Diana led Sunset to her room so she could change her clothes.

“Hum, is that armor really necessary?” she asked to Diana

“Yes, she said. Because you will have the honor to be trained by us, Amazons, to become a warrior.”

"Hum, i hope that my brother is fine on earth" she said

Diana didn’t want to tell him he was in one of the most dangerous place on earth.

“He is with Batman, she said. So i know your brother will be safe. He really care for you. I feel it in his heart. He would give his life if that could save you. He remember me of Steve. And i know you want to be here for him. After your training, you will be able to protect him and defend yourself.”

Sunlight had removed his armor and fought hand to hand with Batman/Bruce for hours

“You need to focus, said Bruce. This is hard, i know, to put aside all of your bad thoughts...But this is vital if you want to win a fight. How could you be able to defend your sister if you can’t defend yourself?”

Sunlight suddenly felt a burst of rage and punched Batman right in the guts, with all the force gave by his dragon bracelets, sending him dozens of meters away. Barry Allen and Oliver were stupefied and stood silent. Sunlight calmed down and excused himself. He healed bruce with his magic.

“This is the result of what happen when you focus your energy, said Batman. Rage is an emotion who amplify magic powers, especially fire. You need to be in a constant state of controlled rage in your fights, to be at your best”

“I understand, said Sunlight. I have to be strong physically but also emotionally if i want to protect the people i love. I am ready to continue.”

“For the moment, that will be everything, he said. This is Oliver who will be your coach for the rest of the day. Told me, do you need to sleep?”

“Well, i suppose with enough light and heat to convert into energy, i could stay awake as long as i want.”

“For that, don’t worry, said Batman. I will do what it will take when the moment will come...”

Sunset trained to sword fight with Diana for now 3 hours.

“Hum, she said to Sunset. You are really good at this!!”

“I practiced the art of fencing for many years, she answered. I already know a lot of techniques”

“Follow me, Sunset, said Diana. I want to show you something.”

She showed her a beautiful view of the beach and the ocean.

“This is beautiful, said Sunset. Your island is a paradise...”

“Our island is also called by humans the Paradise Island” said Wonder Woman.

“I know this is maybe out of context like question, said the young woman, but do all the Amazons except you hate men, if so, why?”

“My sisters and my mother see them as inferior peoples because of their flaws and lust for women, she answered. But i know all men are not like that. I joined the Justice League because the men who form it are not the monster my mother thought they were. I also dream to change the mentality of my sisters about all men being evil and vulgar.”

“Nothing is impossible, said Sunset. But that will require a lot of energy and efforts”

“I am immortal, she said. Even if that take me thousands of years, i will not give up”

They stayed silent, side to side, looking at the...Well...The sunset (what?)

Lex Luthor was sit in a comfortable chair, drinking a fancy drink and reading a journal. Suddenly, one of Luthor employee entered.

“Mr. Luthor, he said. Mr. Lawton is arrived”

“Let him in...” said Luthor.

A man with an impressive armor and equipped of many guns entered.

“I heard you never miss a shot..., said Lex. I have a mission for you.”

He showed to the man the image of Sunlight and what he was looking like.

“I want him dead, he said. Whatever is your price, i will pay it if you bring me his head”

“I will ask 100 millions, said the man. I will find him and kill him with one clear shot in the head.”

“I count on you, Do not deceive me, Deadshot!” said Luthor

Deadshot left the office and Luthor continued to read his journal.
> Chapter 5: Sunset Shimmer and Sunlight Blaze: The next generation of heroes

6 month had passed from both Sunlight and Sunset Shimmer, being trained each on their sides. On his side, Sunlight had went through a six-months long intense training. A time during which he didn’t stop improving, at a point where Batman ran out of idea. During the first month, Sunlight had been trained to martial arts by Batman and Black Canary. Karate, Judo, Krav Maga, Brazilian and regular Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido, Jujitsu, Ninjutsu, Muay Tai and other secret arts only known by a few masters around the world. (Let me just say Sunlight was after this rude training an ass-kicking machine). He aced the exam with success when he beat the crap out of 10 professional martial fighters in less than 3 minutes. Also, during the first month, Sunlight had got the chance to talk to his sister via a magic communication device.

The second month, Batman trained Sunlight to endure physical pain. For a whole month, he was beaten by electric rods, metal bars, needles, whips, (If you ask, yes, Catwoman did the whipping part) hammers, blades, ultrasounds and almost every type of weapons who could be used to hurt someone. That was torture for Sunlight and many time, was close to give up and die, but Batman was here to heal him in a heat chamber. The result of a whole month of intensive beating had made Sunlight almost immune to the pain and made him able to ignore it in fights. He had to pass the exam of the month, who was to resist 1 hour of torture without yelling once. Sunlight passed it with extreme difficulty.

The third month, Batman worked on Sunlight resistance to cold, ice and cold water. Each day for 30 days, Sunlight had to stay, from 6 hours the first week to 12 hours the last one, in a cold room where he almost died many times of hypothermia. If that was not for his will to be strong, to protect Sunset Shimmer and a talk with her, he would have let himself die. (This is saying how hard that was for him) The result, thought, was that Sunlight had sharply improved his cold resistance. The final exam was to send Sunlight in one of the coldest region of the world and let him here for an entire day. He nearly died but succeeded this test too.

The fourth month, Batman trained Sunlight to resist psychological and emotional tortures. Of all the training, this one was the hardest Sunlight had to endure. Batman made him test hallucinogens gas and serums, isolated him in a dark room, showed him terrifying images who almost succeed to scar Sunlight But, most of all, to resist to anger, rage, fear, sadness and useless distractions. Then, on the last day, the exam was to resist for 8 hours watching Joker horrible crimes while being on the effects of a hallucinogen serum in a dark room. If Sunlight turned off his head, he would fail, but he didn’t turn the head once.

The fifth month, Batman trained Sunlight to adapt in almost every type of places, like roofs, public places, toxic waste factories, military hangers, in high heights and in extreme meteorological conditions. The goal of this training was to made Sunlight able to fight efficiently anywhere. There was no exam at the end of the month, instead, Batman allowed Sunlight to have a long week of break.

The sixth and last month, Batman had send Sunlight training with Raven, Zatanna, Dr Fate and John Constantine, who were all skilled magicians. Sunlight learned to master his teleportation, which he never used since he was in Canterlot, but also magic tricks, some forms of exorcism, curses and magical transmutations of objects and magical beams. Not to forgot, Sunlight had been also trained everyday since 6 months, in his free time, to wield and master archery and swordsmanship, use hi-tech gadgets such as his rocket boots, blade gauntlets and hooks and how to drive motorcycles and jets. (This is why Batman asked him if he could private himself of sleep; Sunlight didn’t slept once in 6 months, thank to his special ability to convert heat into energy, which supressed his fatigue). He passed 3 exams this month: One on magic, the second on weaponry and the last one to get his official driver license. He aced all 3 of them, making Batman proud.

Now, on Sunset side, she had also endured a nightmare during the 6 months she had been training with the amazons. But unlike Sunlight, she only been trained on mastering swords, lassos, shield, bows, spears, maces and ride horses ( which was a little bit ironical for her). She took two months to master swordsmanship, 2 others for mastering spears and lassos and only one to master a bow, a mace and horse-riding. And on the last month, the Amazons taught her many languages and upgraded her mental abilities with a magical gem. When she was finally ready, she had to pass an ultimate exam of the Amazons and if she succeeded, she would be made one of them and blessed by the gods. The exam was to beat Wonder Woman herself in a fight, who gave Sunset a run for her money. The fight lasted 6 hours and ended on Wonder Woman's victory. She thought she had failed, but queen Hippolyta told her:

“The goal of this exam was not to win, but to prove you have the Amazons fighting spirit. You proven yourself worth of making you one of us...”

Sunset was healed by Cinder, then brought to a magic altar. The queen pronounced words in an ancient language and when she had finished, Sunset was stroke by a bolt of lightning and she was transported to another place. She woke up and saw in front of her Athena, the goddess of light, courage (and 100 other things).

“You have been worthy of this honor, Sunset Shimmer. You have a pure heart and a quality not everyone have:  Forgiveness. You had worked hard to be what you are today, so accept these gifts.”

Sunset returned on the Amazon Island, changed. She was wearing a warrior armor red, gold and white, holding a sword and a shied of the same colors. The patterns on her armor where phoenix-like and the symbol of Sunset Shimmer's cutie mark was on both the sword, shield and the woman breastplate. (So you can make an image, She have the same armor patterns as Wonder woman but with shades of gold, red, white and yellow) She learned she could make appear and disappear her weapons and the armor magically, by a simple thought. So like that, her and Sunlight were both ready to finally face the outside world. For now, Sunlight was relaxing on his bed, reading books and watching television. Then, Batman finally announced to Sunlight that he will be able to see his sister today. That new made him full of joy as he jumped off the bed. They arrived one hour later at the Hall of Justice where all the main member were present. His sister was also here and both hugged each others and talk about what they did the last months. Then, Sunlight asked a question to Batman:

“Why we are allowed to see each other now?”

“Because, you and your sister will now be able to defend yourself and the world against the menaces threatening it, answered Batman. Today, Me and all the heroes present, have the honor to make you official auxiliary members of the Justice League.”

“This is a great honor, said Sunset. But what auxiliary mean?”

“That mean you are the backup of the Justice League for important missions if the things get difficult” said Flash

“Like sidekicks?” said Sunlight.

“No, answered Wonder Woman. You are not sidekicks and you will receive your own missions.”

“But not as dangerous as me and the elder members of the league do” said Batman.

“Beside, that make you official superheroes now!! Said Hal. Congratulation, young heroes”

During a ceremony, the two were made official members.

“Where will we stay? asked Sunset. I mean, where will we live, now?”

“This is your choice” answered Superman.

“You can stay at Themyscira if you want, said Wonder woman. Or if you want to stay close of your brother, you can follow him wherever he goes. Beside, Sunlight, have you decided yet?”

“Metropolis, he said. Metropolis is more big and radiant of positivity, and after passing 6 months in one of the darkest city on earth, i need a bit of light. Don’t be offended, Batman, if you need my help, i will come.”

“And you, Sunset?” asked Wonder Woman.

“I need to be closer of my brother, she said. Not too much, but close enough to see him each day.”

“There is maybe a way you and your brother can be close in Metropolis, said Superman. My cousin, Kara, or as we call her, Supergirl, want a roommate in the chamber she rent. You will love her, she is kind and positive and being with you will make her happy. I will present you to her and then let you take your decision.”

Then he looked at Sunlight.

“For you, Sunlight, he said. Well, the building my cousin live in have a lot of chambers to rent. But have you the money to pay a rent?”

“No” said Sunset.

“In fact, yes, said Sunlight. I was keeping it for later but...”

He get out of his bag a purse. Sunset immediately recognize the purse containing his gold bits

“In this purse is 5000 gold bits, or coins, if you prefer. All i need to do is open a bank account, convert the gold into money and depose it in our accounts.”

“Ours?” said Sunset.

“This time, i will share with you, said her brother. So, where is the the main bank in Metropolis?”

Superman stay silent for a while.

“Lex Luthor have the control of every bank in metropolis, he said. Opening an account will put you at risk of being exposed”

“Instead, said Batman, i already opened an account for you two. Luthor may control Metropolis banks, but i control Gotham ones. Let me just a few minutes to tell my financial agents to transfer in each your accounts 12 and half million dollars. After that, i will take the gold and convert it into money in my account. Like that, Luthor won’t be able to use your account data to detect you. I will give you the information of your accounts later.”

He left the room with Sunlight’s purse, after he told him how to use it.

“So, we need to live a normal life beside our lives of superhero?” asked Sunset.

“We will need a cover, a work" said Sunlight.

“Metropolis have tons of places to work for, said Superman. I heard you were talented for many things, Sunlight.”

“Yes, he answered. I am hesitating between a job in the cooking or the fashion domain.”

“Me, said Sunset, Well, i don’t know yet.”

“That will not be simple to find a work, said Batman. You need first to have the requirements for it.”

“Sure, said like that, we won’t be able to work before a long time.”

“You said your talent was to encourage others and cheer them, right, Sunset?” asked Superman.

“My cousin Kara work as a cheerleader for the sport team representing Metropolis. She could help you to find a job in it. She told me all you need is to pass two exam. For you, Sunlight, My reporter friend Jimmy who work at the Daily Planet told me yesterday that one of his friend left his job of fashion designer because of the stress and the boss want a new employee to replace him. If you are interested, i give him a call and he will call the boss in question. I am sure there will be a lot of rivals here, so this is to you to beat them and get the job. So, what are you thinking about it?”

Both of them agreed with the propositions of Superman. So, Clark passed a call to Kara and told her he found someone who wanted to share a chamber with her and another call, to Jimmy. 2 hours later, Sunlight had already rent his chamber and was presently with Jimmy in front of the building the boss of his friend own.

“There you go, said Jimmy. I wish you good luck”

“This job is in my pocket, he said. I’ll see you in 6 hours with the application!”

Sunset, on her side, had already met Supergirl and they became friends, talking for 2 hours. Then, she explained to Sunset  she asked for the job that one of her cheerleader friends had to leave for familial reasons. They needed someone to replace her.

“All you need to do is to have the best note at two exams: Gymnastic and Cheering, she said. That won’t be easy for you because this place will be convoluted by other girl. I will be able to get you a place for the qualifications but you will have to make the rest to get the job.”

“I am ready, she said. One of my closest friends is the queen of cheering and i learned a lot from her!”

This is on these words than both of them would try to got a job.
> Chapter 6: First Mission for Sunlight and Sunset.

Two days had passed for Sunlight and Sunset, which had both succeeded to get the job they wanted. Sunset had aced the gymnastic exam and the cheering exam with a perfect score for both of them. Sunlight, him, having the advantage of being seductive, and highly skilled in persuasion, convinced the boss to choose him after showing two of his creations. (Sunlight got a lot of time to sew in his free time in the Titan Tower) At the same time new, distinguished but also modest. So, two days later, they were eating at a restaurant together in company of Supergirl.

“So, I wanted to present you my brother, Kara, she said. His name is Sunlight Blaze, i know this is a strange name, but where we came from, they are normal names.”

“That’s okay, i don’t judge you or your brother for your names, said Kara. So, you told me your brother work for one of the most important fashion celebrity in Metropolis, is this true, Sunlight. I heard the standards were insane to get here!”

“Let’s just say my opponents had no chances against my creations, said Sunlight. Since yesterday, i started working on making new costumes for an important fashion contest in 4 months. I have to make 120 of them, each one different, I already completed one.”

“You speak of it like an easy task, said Supergirl. This is insane!! How can you stay so calm?”

“Thank Batman for that, answered Sunlight. His training made me totally immune against stress...”

Sunlight and Sunset suddenly received a call from the Justice league. They read the message and immediately payed the addition before leaving the restaurant.

“Sorry, Kara, We have an emergency, said Sunset. I’ll see you later!!”

Sunlight and her hid behind the restaurant and put on their costumes. Sunset by magic and Sunlight by pushing a button on his belt made to contain it. (like the ring Flash was wearing and which contained his costume. That was his contribution to the training). They arrived at the Hall of Justice where Barry was waiting for them.

“I called you, guys, he said. I need your help: 6 powerful meta-humans escaped from Blackgate and A.R.G.U.S prisons and menace the population of Gotham City and Central City. Batman is actually fighting Gorilla Grodd and Killercroc at Gotham and i can handle Thawne and King Shark. I want you two to take on Killer Frost and Cheetah, there are their locations and the information you need to know about them. Good luck””

Flash ran away.

“I take care of this Cheetah, said Sunset. I have a score to settle with her!”

“So, i will take on Killer Frost, said Sunlight. From what i can read about her name and information sheet, she is a cryomancer, perfect for me! I mean, perfect for an opponent, since she is ice and i am fire...”

They both headed on the direction of their target. Sunlight was the first to reach one of the two, Killer Frost. She was attacking citizens while robbing diamonds in a jewelry.

“Hey, Frosty, he said. You should put some clothes on or you will catch a cold!”

“You won’t stop me, Flash” she said, shooting a beam of ice on Sunlight, who blocked it with a shield.

“I am not Flash” said Sunlight.

She turned back and see it was not him.

“So why do you talk exactly like him? she asked. You know, using lame puns?”

“That would have been too hard to left that pun unused, he answered. Beside, i am here to stop you!!”

“You? Pfft, you wish!!” she said.

Sunlight teleported in front of her, took the diamond and threw them away.

“These are not belonging to you, Killer Frost" said the hero.

“Give them back!! She yelled. Or i will freeze you to death.”

“Hey, no need to gave me the cold shower!!” said Sunlight.

She yelled and attacked him. Meanwhile, Sunset was arrived in the place where Cheetah was located.

“So, said Cheetah. I see Wonder Woman took you under her wings...He he he...I will kill you and then bring your corpse in front of her...So she can see how much i hate her...”

“That won’t be easy, Cheetah, said Sunset. I made lot of progress since the last time we met”

“Maybe, but that won’t be enough!!” said the cheetah girl, jumping on Sunset.

Returning to Sunlight, he had since 5 minutes avoiding all of Killer Frost attacks.

“Stop teleporting!!! She said. You are cheating! You can’t win if you don’t attack me.”

“You are right, he answered. I will get serious, now”

Sunlight threw at her a big ball of fire that she froze instantly with her ice magic.

“So, you are what, a pyromancian? She said. You are not the first one i fought, darling. I have a weak spot for the guys with fire abilities. Too bad i only fall on good fire guys...But 'nuff talk, give me those diamonds back!!”

She took Sunlight by surprise and create two wall of ice she used to crush him. Sunlight teleported away and Frost continued blasting him with ice blades. She finally hit him in the legs with a spear of ice. 

“Got you” she said.

Sunlight pulled off the ice shard in his leg and threw it away. He teleported in front of Frost and sent her against a wall with a powerful flaming fist.

“Oh, you dare hit a lady?” she asked.

“I am for the gender equality, he answered. I won’t hold my blows 'cause you are a girl”

“Shut the hell up!!” she said.

Returning to Sunset, she had begun her fight with Cheetah and the villain had took advantage. She was faster and stronger than Sunset, but the hero had her shield and armor, which had took most of the damages. Sunset pushed her back with a powerful kick in the face.

“I love a good hunt, said Cheetah. By resisting like that, you just excite me!!”

She continued to charge on her hoping to deliver a blow who would break her armor or kill her. Sunlight, during this time, was beating the crap out of Frost, letting her no chance to counter him. He sent her again against a wall with a powerful kick.

“Should i continue or you give up?” he asked.

Killer Frost wounds healed by themselves and she got up.

“Oh, you have a fast healing factor? asked Sunlight. Meh, i was just warming up, now, time to bring the heat!!”

Sunlight created a bigger ball of flame.

“Taste to my Supernova Blast!!!” he said.

He threw the fire projectile on Killer Frost, who used her cryomancy to stop the ball. Sunlight added more power to his attack and Frost couldn't keep up. She stopped using her magic and tried to avoid the fireball. Sunlight made his ball explode and Killer Frost took a big part of the blow, projecting her against a car. She fell unconscious and Sunlight walked in her direction to arrest her.

“I think i broke the ice between us” he said.

But she open her eyes and kissed him with the intention to freeze him solid. Sunlight was starting to freeze and had to free himself for that dreadful kiss.

“That kiss will maybe help you to chill out!” she said.

Sunlight spit fire from his mouth, which burned the lips and the face of Killer Frost

“And me, I think you will need ice for that burn!” he said.

She released Sunlight. But then, she kicked him in the nuts and punched him in the face. Sunlight stroke back by grabbing her hairs and put them on fire.

“Is that me, or i smell burned hairs?” he said.

Frost started to loose her temper and attacked Sunlight without holding back. Meanwhile. Sunset was now taking the lead in the fight after she analyzed Cheetah’s attacks and fighting style and found a way to avoid and counter them. She smashed the villain against a building, then punched her multiple times while she was stunned and finished her with a powerful punch in the face.

“She was tough, said Sunset. But not enough for me!”

On his side, Sunlight decided to finish the fight with a unavoidable fire attack.

“You asked for it, Frosty the snow chick!! He said. Try to dodge this: Wrath of the 100 Blazing Fists!!!!!”

Sunlight hit Killer Frost many time with a flurry of fire punches and finished her with an epic magic uppercut. Sunlight fell on his knees to take a break; His attack costed him a considerable amount of energy. Suddenly, he is stroke by a bullet who miss his head and hit his mask. The shock sent him on the ground. He raised his hand and got up to see who shot on him. The responsible was a man with a red and white military armor, equipped with lot of guns.

“Hello, Sunblast, said the man. I was expecting you will leave your shelter one day or another.”

“Who are you? He asked. With the costume you were, i deduce you are a soldier or a mercenary...Oh....I see...”

“I am Deadshot, said the man. And yes, i am a mercenary who want your head. Luthor promised me a lot of money if i bring your dead body to him. I saw that you defeated Killer Frost, and that you also look exhausted. This is perfect for me...”

Sunlight threw at him a bolt of lightning who stunned the villain, then teleported behind him and kicked him against a wall.

“I still have enough energy to kick your ass, said Sunlight. I am not done yet!”

He grabbed the mercenary and teleported him in the sky. Sunlight then activated his rocket boots.

“Tell me, Deadshot, Can you fly?” said Sunlight, dropping him.

Sunlight let the man freefall from the sky and waited a few minutes before teleporting again on the ground. He charged a powerful beam of flames and threw it at the mercenary who couldn't avoid it and took it directly. Sunlight caught him before he hit the ground and threw the man, unconscious, against a wall. Sunlight then took Deadshot communication device and called Luthor.

“So, did you kill the target, Deadshot?” asked Luthor via the device.

“Listen to me, Luthor, said Sunlight. If you really want me, don’t sent your dogs make the work for you! I am a member of the J.L now! If you want me, do it by yourself!”

Luthor smiled

“Grr, Fine, if the best mercenaries of this planet can’t put you down, said Luthor, i will call in this case the best mercenary in the universe. Joining him won’t be easy and that will maybe take me a long time. Use it carefully, Sunlight, because soon, your life will end....Ha ha ha ha aha aha ha!!”

Sunlight crushed the communicator.

“Pfft, What an asshole” he said.

He took Killer Frost and Deadshot on his shoulders. Sunset Shimmer arrived to join him, with Cheetah on her back.

“Wait, i thought you just had Killer Frost to stop, she asked. Who is the guy on your left shoulder?”

“Oh, this is just another mercenary sent by Lex to take me down, said Sunlight. He was not so hard to beat, for now, let’s send these criminals in jail.”

Flash arrived near Sunset and Sunlight.

“Great job, you two!! He said. Killer Frost and Cheetah are two powerful and ferocious huntresses. Glad you stopped them, Wait, is that Deadshot?”

“Yep, said Sunlight. He was trying to kill me, so i just beat the crap out of him.”

“He was on the loose for 3 years, said Flash, When Batman will heard that, he will be so happy!! Well, in his own way to show it...”

Flash took the 3 criminals and brought them at Blackgate, then came back.

“Sorry if i took so long, said Flash. Thawne gave me a run for my money...He he...Get it?”

Sunset facepalmed herself and Sunlight laughed.

“And King Shark, him, well, he didn’t gave me too much difficulty, he said. But i can say he was a whale of a good time!!”

“Stop, Flash, said Sunset. And what about Batman?”

“Oh, he already defeated Killercroc and Gorilla Grodd with the help of Green Arrow and me. Anyway, thank for the help, guys!! We will call you if something happen!!”

Sunlight looked at Sunset and smiled and Sunset did the same.

“What’s next?” asked Sunlight.

“For now, i suppose we can return home” she answered.

The two flew away in the clear sky, in direction of Metropolis. But somewhere else, in the middle of a forest, the animals were scared two bodies falling on te ground.

“Guess Discord spell worked perfectly, Rainbow Dash...” said one of the two.

“Yeah, But not the lending, she said. Please, Get off my body Fluttershy! I can’t breathe!!”

“Oops!! I am so sorry, Dashie, said Fluttershy. Let me help you get up!”

She helped her friend to get up.

“We are there to find Sunset Shimmer and her brother, said Rainbow Dash. But first, we have to get out of that forest.”

“This is a job for me, said Fluttershy. The animals will help us exit of that forest.”

They began to walk in the forest, side by side.
> Chapter 7: The misadventures of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were finally out of the forest after a 6 hour long walk. The first thing they saw at the horizon, was a city.

“Civilization!! Said Rainbow Dash. Finally!!!! Follow me, Fluttershy!”

“Wait, Rainbow Dash, said the girl. Have we thought about our costumes, you know, to stay undercover?”

“Oh...Nope, she answered. Hey, Discord!!! You forgot our costumes!!!”

“That is okay, Rainbow Dash, she said. I am sure Discord will...”

Discord’s body appeared trough a portal.

“Costumes? Oops, he said. My fault!! And because i am nice, i’ll give you each a little something to help you keep up with the heroes of this universe.”

Discord made 2 costumes appear, one for each of them. The costume of Fluttershy was purple, red and pink and was looking normal.

“This costume is so simple, said Fluttershy. I love it!!”

The costume of Rainbow Dash was blue sky, dark blue and with yellow lightning stripes. Plus, decorative wings were covering the feet.

“Wait, what is that?” asked Rainbow.

“A costume representing the most famous military force in Equestria, answered Discord. Take it as an honor! And now, Time to give you artifacts that will make you able to keep out with the overpowered heroes of this world.”

Discord made relics and artifacts appeared in front of the girls.

“These are for Fluttershy, he said, giving two of them to her. The other are for you, Rainbow Dash.”

Fluttershy put one of the two relics on her, which was a pair of red bracelets. The second relic was a necklace with a teeth on it. Rainbow Dash, her, picked the two other which were a pair of goggles and a belt.

“Can you explain to us what these objects are?” asked Rainbow Dash.

“Sure, Fluttershy wear the Wild Bracelets, said Discord. They will allow her to copy almost any animal abilities by touching them. Neat, uh? She also wear the Wild Necklace, who will increase all her senses to those of animals. You, Rainbow, the goggles you wear have the power to see in the dark and the fog, so you will never be blinded while running. The belt will give you the power to phase trough solid objects like walls and nullify the effects of the wind.”

“Thank you, Discord...” said Fluttershy, hugging him.

“You’re welcome!!” he answered.

“Told me, Discord, asked Rainbow Dash, Did you have something to do with Sunlight and Sunset disappearance?”

“Me? No!!! He answered. Beside, remember your mission!! Find your two friends and told them to come back home”

Discord disappeared by his portal and let the two girls standing up in the middle of the field.

“We have our costumes and artifacts giving us cool powers, said Dash. We just need a cool name!! Me, i will be Storm Speed!! And you Fluttershy?”

“I don’t know, she answered. What name is good for my powers? Animal Girl? Beast girl?”

“Why don’t you call yourself Wild Girl?” said Rainbow Dash.

“I love that name, answered Fluttershy. You are talented to find superhero names!”

“I know!! I am the best!! She said. But let’s stop talking!! We have to find our friends!!”

She ran in the direction of the city, but came back when she realized Fluttershy was not as fast as her.

“Sorry, i forgot that i am the only one who can run  fast!!” said Rainbow Dash.

Meanwhile, Sunlight returned in his rented chamber, and continued sewing dresses. Sunset, her, was on a cheerleader training session with Kara. Both were waiting for the Justice League to send them for a mission, But the only one they received was to told them they would have a few days off.

“Damn it, said Sunlight. I am bored!!! Sewing dresses is fun, but this is not exciting enough!!”

He put a finished dress with the pile of other dresses he made.

“Alright!! I made 4 dresses, just 116 left, he said. Another pair of hand would be welcome...”

Sunset was talking with Kara. Both were on the lunch break with the other cheerleaders.

“So, You came from another planet, said Sunset. The same as your cousin. You told me you were older than him, so why are you so young?”

“Well, before Krypton explode, she answered. Both our families sent us via escaping pods conceived to travel in the universe. I was supposing to arrive at the same time as him on earth, but a collision with a meteorite deviated my pod and the result: i stood for almost 30 years in a hyper sleep and only arrived on Earth when Superman was a grown up man. He was a baby when he left Krypton and i was a young adult. So technically, i am older than him, even if he look older physically.”

“Interesting story” said Sunset.

“Do you have also a tragic backstory, Sunset?” she asked.

“Sure, she answered, not as tragic as your, but very sad though. All began when i was born...”

During that time, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were arrived in town.

“This town creep me out, said Fluttershy. Where are we?”

Rainbow Dash disappeared, and reappeared two second later.

“Gotham City, she said. And this place creep me too...But we have to look for our friends!!”

“Should we keep our costumes?” asked Fluttershy

“Yes, Discord gave them to us for a reason, and this reason is to wear them!!” answered Rainbow Dash.

“Our costumes look a little bit to bright compared to the darkness of this city” said Fluttershy.

“Meh, said Rainbow. I don’t care!”

She ran at high speed and made the turn of the town in mere seconds. Fluttershy, her, deployed her wings and flew above the city. That was daytime and the city was full of people.

“Nothing, nothing and nothing!! Said Rainbow Dash. I searched everywhere!!! Where are they!?”

“Nothing at the horizon, said Fluttershy. Neither on the ground. Hello, Mr. The falcon!!”

The bird landed on her shoulder and when he touched Fluttershy, her costume took a falcon-like form. She also acquired his vision and could see with precision each citizens of the city. Coming back to the ground, Rainbow Dash had stopped to search and was taking a soda, sit on the top of a little building. Fluttershy came to join her too. Beside, with the time their researches took, the sun was begining to set down. The night would soon arrive and the two friends decided that for the moment, they needed to find a place to rest.

“Where are we going to sleep, Fluttershy? Asked Rainbow Dash. We don’t have money on us”

“Well, I don't know plenty of option to make money, she answered. Hum, Do you know a way to make lot of money quickly?”

Rainbow Dash look at Fluttershy with a smile.

“What? She asked. I don’t like that look on your face, Dashie...”

“There is one quick way for us to make money quickly...” said Rainbow Dash with a pervy smile

“Oh, heck no!! Don’t even think about it!! Rainbow Dash, said her friend. I am not going to prostitute myself!! No!!”

“I was kidding, she answered. Sure, a lot of mans would pay a high price to pass a night with girls of your type”

“My type? What do you mean?” she asked.

“You are everything a man could desire, said Rainbow Dash. Kind, beautiful, cute, shy, careful, helpful, calm. But i am not going to let you in the hands of creepy rich mans and weirdos. I am doing it!! I bet i can do 10 mans in a single night!!”

“No, Rainbow Dash, said her friend. None of us are going to do such things for money. I discovered a lot of interesting things today, thanks to my animal friends.”

“Told me!” said Dash.

“First, this town look normal the day, she said. But the night, it became a hell for the citizens of Gotham. The crime rate is insane!! Also, they told me a man in a bat costume was, almost each night, fighting the crime. Maybe we could help him, so he would help us find a place to stay.”

“At least, one of us actually discovered something, said Rainbow. The only thing i discover today was that Gotham have an insane number of nightclubs and Nudes.”

“Okay, first, we need to find a criminal and stop him, said Fluttershy. Like that, the man in the bat costume will show to us and then we could ask him for a place to sleep.”

“So, let’s do it!! Said Rainbow Dash. It’s superhero time!!”

They flew in the sky for a moment and saw a bank being robbed. There was 8 robbers and 3 of them where keeping hostages.

“Okay, there is the plan!! Said Rainbow Dash. With my super speed, i neutralize the criminals holding the hostages and you, you will use your newfound powers to distract the robbers in the bank. After the hostage will be saved, i will finish the rest of them. Is this okay for you?”

“Yes, she answered. Let’s do this!!”

Rainbow Dash landed near of the bank and Fluttershy entered by a window on the roof. Rainbow used her superspeed to disarm the 3 criminals and then took their hostages, which she secured away. She beat the crap of the 3 mans easily. Fluttershy, her, was inside the building. She saw 4 mans robbing gold and a big man robbing diamonds and money. The man was huge and was wearing a Luchador mask and a bottle of green fluid on his back.

“My plan worked perfectly, said the muscled man. Batman won’t be here before 20 minutes!! But hurry up, you snails!!”

Fluttershy threw a rock at one of the man.

“Who threw a rock to me?! He asked. Is that you, Jeremy?”

“No, Lucien, said his friend. I don’t even have rocks on me!!”

“How do you know this is a rock who hurt me?!” asked Lucien.

Fluttershy threw another rock, this time at another man. Soon, they began to argue with each other and were close to fight. But their boss made them stop.

“Shut up, you idiots, he said. I don’t care which one began this, remember we have to get out of the bank before the Bat arrives!”

“Yes, Mr. Bane” said Jeremy.

”I need to buy more time, thought Fluttershy. Great, now i am making puns...Anyway, i smell in the blood of this Bane chemical products, a spicy smell...Is that this liquid who gave him that huge physique?” 

She sent a bat flying near the mans, then more of them.

“Bats!! Said one of the mans. Batman is here!! We are doomed!!!”

“I though you said he was supposed to arrive in 20 minutes only!! said Jeremy. What do we do now, Boss?!”

“Just leave the bank with the money, said Bane, i will buy you time!!”

His henchmen walked out of the bank. Bane waited a moment then...

“Guess i maybe underestimated you, Batman, said the man. Wherever you hide, get out and fight me!!”

Fluttershy landed behind Bane and threw at him ultrasounds. Bane covered his ears and turned his head to see a girl looking like batman, with the same design of costume.

“So, Batman sent one of his sidekicks do his job! Said Bane. If you think you can stop me, i will break you like i broke him.”

“Wait, said Fluttershy. I don’t like to fight!!” 

“So, that will be more easy for me to break your spine” said the villain

“Maybe we can talk about this? She asked. You seem like you need to talk to someone...”

“Words won’t help you, darling, said Bane. I live to win, fight, kill and suffer!!! I am not the type of man who talk, i prefer the strong way...”

“So, i guess fighting is the only option, said Fluttershy. Beside, i smell in your blood a spicy taste of chemical products. Told me, what is the fluid you have in your blood?”

“Venom, answered Bane. This is a serum who gave me immense strength, stamina and durability. But that much power had a side effect on my body. I suffer horribly each time i put this poison in my veins, but the pain worth all of these advantages”

“This is inhuman!! Who did that to you?!” she asked.

“Well, i was used as a test subject in the military forces, said Bane. They wanted someone strong and resistant to pain to test a experimental serum. And guess who was volunteer...They injected this poison in my veins but they didn’t predict that i would turn berserk and i killed all of them this day. I stole all their stock and left the army, i used this product a lot of time after, but i became addicted and now, i can’t live without Venom.”

“I knew it, said Fluttershy. I knew you could have a conversation with someone!”

“Wait, did you just do that to gain time? Asked Bane. Crap, you manipulated me!!”

He attacked Fluttershy, but with the reflexes and the agility of a cat, she avoided his charge. Bane tried to hit her, but she was too agile for him.

“All this muscles slow you a lot! said Fluttershy, smiling at him. You may have the strength and durability advantage, but i have the speed one!! Hi hi hi!”

“I don’t have time to waste with you if you can’t even fight me, said Bane. I am out of here!”

Rainbow Dash arrived and slided under Bane’s legs to punch him in the nuts. She got up next to her friend and smiled at Bane.

“Oh yeah, right in his nuts!! He won't get up after that!” she said.

But Bane didn’t feel that punch. In fact, due to the chemical and bulking nature of the Venom, he had lost...Hum...His sensibility under the belt...(His testicules shrank, okay?)

“Well tried, said Bane, laughing. But i lost my sensibility to pain, especially in this region...”

“Gross!! Said Rainbow Dash. You mean it is because they have shrank?”

“Nope, i just have a extreme pain tolerance! He answered. Many girls like you kicked or punched me in the crotch, many time, and i developed an immunity after some times.”

“Anyway, while you were talking, said Rainbow, i beat your henchmen and sent them, with the money and gold, back to the police. You are alone, now!!”

“Grrr, How?” he asked.

Rainbow Dash ran around bane at super speed and punched him many times but it was not very...Effective.

“A speedster? Said the villain? Hum, Are you one of Flash's sidekicks?”

“What? No!!! She answered. I am a superhero, like my friend, Wild Girl. Me, i am Storm Speed!”

“Crap, i don’t have so much time left, thought Bane, i should leave right now!”

He took two smokes grenades from his belt and threw them at the girls. Fluttershy used her ultrasounds and sense of smell to find Bane. Rainbow Dash, her, with her goggles, was seeing clear trough the smoke. They both attacked Bane and Rainbow Dash instinctively cut down the venom tubes. Fluttershy made him fall on the ground with a low kick in the legs.

“What? Impossible!! This smoke was dense enough to blind Batman and Flash. How?!” said Bane, who was losing his venom.

“How? Superpowers!! Answered Rainbow Dash. Now, help me, Wild Girl!! We have to give him to the police”

The two friends left the bank with Bane, which they delivered to the policemen. They were acclaimed by the citizens and the police. The two then disappeared in the darkness.

“Oh yeah!! Said Rainbow Dash. We saved the day...Well...You know what it mean!”

“No, but what about the objective of our mission, you know, drawing the man in a costume bat's attention?” asked Fluttershy

“I am sure we will pass on the news after that, she answered. Soon or later, he will learn about us”

“Are you talking about me?” said a mysterious man with a bat costume.

The man landed in front of them.

“So, you must be the vigilante of this city, the man in the bat costume!!” said Fluttershy.

“I was about to stop Bane, said the man. He led me to a place where i got trapped under a pile of scrap. It took me time to get out. But as i can see, you two made the job for me. This man was dangerous but you managed to find his weak spot and defeated him. By you costumes, i deduce you are superheroes, right?”

“Yes, we wanted to have your attention, said Rainbow Dash. We just arrived in this town and we are broke...and because we though you could show us a place to sleep”

“Hum, you did that just for a place where to stay? Asked the man. Come with me, i think i can help you with that.”

They entered in Batman’s Batmobile.

“My name is Batman, said the vigilante. I am the protector of this city and a prime member of the Justice League.”

“Well, i am Storm Speed, said Rainbow. And my friend is called Wild Girl. We are at the research of our friends, who are in your world.”

“Our world? Said Batman. You came from another dimension?”

“Yes, said Fluttershy. We left our home dimension to search for our friends, who are in this dimension. Their names are Sunset Shimmer and Sunlight Blaze.”

“They disappeared from our world almost 7 months ago, said Rainbow in the same time. We only had been able to get here because of a friend who had the power to open rifts between dimensions”

“Sunset? And Sunlight? Said Batman. Well, i know where they are, but what told me they are your friends?”

“Well, Sunset have yellow and red hairs, and have a little necklace around her neck” said Fluttershy.

“And Sunlight have red, orange and yellow hairs and possess fire abilities!” said Dashie.

“That will be enough, said Batman. I will immediately call them as soon as we arrive in the Batcave.”

“You know them?” asked Wild Girl.

“A lot of thing can happen in 7 months, said Batman. I personally trained Sunlight”

They arrived in the Batcave and Batman gave a call to Sunlight and Sunset. They opened their phones and answered.

“You two must come immediately to Gotham, said Batman. I have something to show you that you must see immediately”

They don’t loose time and immediately head to Gotham.
> Chapter 8: Reunion

Sunset and Sunlight where both arrived at Gotham. Batman opened to them the doors of the Wayne Manor and led them to his cave.

“So, why did you call us in the middle of the night, Batman?” asked Sunset.

Batman was looking at them seriously.

“I called you because i have two girls with me who pretend being your friends” he said.

“Friends? Said Sunlight. Show them to us.”

Batman led them to the training room where they saw Fluttershy petting a bat and Rainbow Dash, running around the room.

“No way!! Said Sunset. Rainbow Dash?! Fluttershy?!”

“Sunset!!” said both of them.

They hugged each other for a long moment and cried of joy. Batman was happy for them but didn’t show it.

“I am so happy, but so happy to see you girls!!” said Sunset.

“We are happy too!!” said Rainbow Dash.

“What about me?” asked Sunlight.

They hugged him.

“That’s better, he said. How in the world did you two get in this dimension?”

“First, you two need to tell us what happened to you” asked Rainbow Dash.

“If you tell us what happened to our world in our absence!” said Sunset.

Sunlight made a summary of how him and Sunset landed in this world and what they did.

“Now, Me and Sunlight are part of the greatest superhero team of this universe!!” said Sunset

“Wow!! Awesome!! Said Rainbow Dash. After what you lived, i am tempted to stay here too!!”

Fluttershy explained to them their costumes and how they got in this universe.

“So, Discord opened you a portal to this world? Said Sunlight. Hum, something told me he is the one who sent me and Sunset here.”

“That mean that if he is the one who brought us here, said Sunset, that mean he could also make us return home!!”

“Exactly, said Fluttershy. This is why we came here. To find you and bring you back home!! Our friends are so worried for you!!”

“As soon as we noticed your absence, said Rainbow Dash, We started to search in Canterlot for you two. We also prevented Princess Twilight of your absence and her too organized a research around Equestria. That lasted weeks and we were about to give up...and accept the fact that you could be dead...”

“...Then, continued Fluttershy, Discord appeared out of nowhere and told us he knew where you were. We asked why he didn’t told us that before and answered he wanted to make the things dramatics. He then sent me and Rainbow Dash in this world.”

“So now, Today, you return home!!” said Rainbow Dash.

“Wait a minute, said Sunlight. You forgot me and Sunset built a live and a reputation in this world!! We can’t just leave it like that!!”

“What about the lives you have in your homeworld?” asked Rainbow Dash.

“I don’t care, said Sunlight. I am fine here, i found my home in this world. I am not returning back in your world.”

“And you, Sunset?” asked Fluttershy.

“I...Really want to leave this world and come back with you, she said. But...Sunlight is right. We made a live in this world too. But i also miss you, girls, i want to return with you, but if i do that, i would have to leave my brother here, alone...”

“Come on, Sunset!! Said Rainbow Dash. Don’t be stubborn!! You know like us that your place is with us and your friends. And you, Sunlight, why do you want to stay in this world anyway?”

“I am happy in this world!! Said Sunlight. I can live here to life i always dreamed of!! I wanted to be a superheroes and now, i am one of them and i...Never felt so good since. I won’t give up this life for a boring one like in your world!”

“Fine, if you don’t want to return with us, you will stay here forever until your death, said Rainbow Dash. Sunset, you have to decide now!! Or you choose your friends and you return home, or you choose your brother and we never saw each other again!! You lived almost 2 decades without your brother, you can live the rest of your life without him!!”

“I...I can’t!! She said. I love you, girls, i miss you and you love me. But i also love my brother and i don’t want to leave him a second time! If he wants to stay here, then i will stay with him!!”

“They already have enough heroes to defend them!! Said Rainbow Dash.  How can you be hesitating between us and him!! We are your friends, your family, Sunset!”

“Sunlight is also of my family! She said. This is easy to say for the girl who had his parent cheering for her during all her life!! I never had a true loving family!! As much as i love you, girls, you can’t replace a real family!! You and the others have siblings, you have a family, I have none, except Sunlight!! You have parents who love you and care for your needs, Fluttershy have her brother and her parents!! Rarity have her sister Sweetie Belle, Applejack have also a little sister, but also a big brother and a grand mother! Pinkie pie have her sisters Maud, Limestone and Marble and finally, Twilight have her brother Shining armor and her parents who love her! Between my friends and my family, my choice is done: I choose my family!!”

Rainbow Dash’s heart broke when she heard that. She immediately lost her calm. Fluttershy was silent.

“Fine, said Rainbow Dash. In this case, i think we should leave, Fluttershy.”

“That’s it? Asked Sunset. You’ll just leave and let me here? If you were really my friend, Rainbow Dash, you would stay to my sides in this world.”

“Like you said, family is more important than friends!!! She said. I am choosing my real family!! Because you are no family to me!!”

These word were the ones who crossed the line. Sunset, Fluttershy and Sunlight were silent and shocked by what she said. Rainbow Dash realized her mistake but it was too late. She just lost Sunset’s friendship by saying that.

“I am no family to you, uh? Said Sunset, sad. Well, in that case, just leave!!”

“I..am sorry, Sunset, said Rainbow Dash. I...”

She slapped her in the face and ran away, heartbroken and angered. Fluttershy followed her while Sunlight was staring with disappointment at Rainbow Dash.

“What, do you want to slap me too, Sunlight? She said. You can, i was a dick to you and Sunset...”

“That’s okay, he said. I know you regret these words. But you forgot she never had, like you and me, parents who loved her and cared for her needs. She was driven to madness because of it. And yes, i know you and your friends are the ones who brought the light in her heart, but i am the one who really illuminated it! If you had to make the choice of choosing between your friends and your family, knowing that you’ll never see one of them again, what would be your decision?”

“I...don’t know, she answered. I...I think i never had to make this choice in my life and...”

She realized what Sunlight wanted her to realize.

“...And i forced her to make that choice, she said. I know what i have to do! Discord! Can you bring me back!!? I need to talk with my friends!!”

Discord opened a portal in which Rainbow Dash passed through. She ask him to reunite all her friends near her. She told them if they wanted to come with her in the world where Sunset and Sunlight were in.

“I know this is not an easy choice” said Rainbow Dash.

“I am going with her, said Rarity. She is family!! And my business is not as important as my friends.”

“Me too, said Applejack. I am sure my family will doing good without me. Though, i am sorry for them.”

“I am going with you, Dash” said Twilight.

“And me too!!” said Pinkie Pie

“And for what is about your lives here, don’t worry about that, said Discord. I am a omnipotent magical being. If you don’t plan to come back, i could make your family and everyone else forget about you, like if you never existed. Or i could, if you decide to come back, reset your lives before Sunlight and Sunset disappeared, with no memories of your past adventures in this world, like if that was a dream”

“You can do that?” asked Pinkie Pie.

“I can do everything!! Said Discord. Nothing is impossible to do for me!”

“So do it, Discord, said Twilight. At least, our families won’t suffer from our absences...”

“What about if a bad guy with an evil magic came while we are gone?” asked Rarity.

“I can deal with that..., said Discord. Now, just join them!! And before you leave, there is costumes for each of you, coming with relics to help you. You’ll need it, trust me”

Discord teleported all of them in the world where Sunlight, Sunset were, then disappeared. Sunlight was surprised to see everyone here. After a short reunion, they decided to give a visit to Sunset. Rainbow Dash entered in the room where Sunset was. She was not happy to see her.

“I am sorry, Sunset, she said. I regret what i said...I thought about it and made my choice. I am staying with you in this world, even if that mean abandoning my life at Canterlot.”

“Really? Said Sunset. You would stay here with us? What about the others...You...We can’t leave them alone...”

“You won’t have too, Darling!!” said Rarity.

“Rarity? Said Sunset. You are here too?!”

“Not only her, Sugarcube, said Applejack. I am here too!”

“And me too!!!” said Pinkie Pie.

“I am here too, Sunset, said Twilight. We will stay with you as long as needed, even if it is a decade...”

Sunset was crying, but this time, that was because of the emotion. She hugged them all.

“I promise we will return back in our world one day, said Sunlight. After all, every adventure have an end!!”

“The more important is that we will be together, said Twilight. And i want to learn everything about this world too!!”

Sunset hugged once again all of her friend, Sunlight included. She was now totally happy and she had recovered her determination.

“Hey, Batman, asked Sunlight. Told the Justice League than new members will join them!!”

“Before, we have to find a place for them to live and a job” said Batman.

“I know, said Sunset. There is plenty of free rooms to rent where me and Sunlight live. They can rent them!!”

“And what about the money? Asked Sunlight. I doubt you have that much on you”

“We can give them some of our money, she said. We are 8 and me and you have each 12 millions dollars in our accounts. So, if i divide mine by 4 and you too, that will made 3 millions dollars each.”

“I am agree with that, he answered. So, Batman, after you open their accounts, can you please put in each of them 3 millions dollars?”

“Sure, but that will take some times, said Batman. So while this is the night, i propose you to rest in my Manor. Tomorrow, everything will be done. And also, i saw and heard everything that happened during the last minutes, but don’t worry, what happen in the Batcave stay in the Batcave...”

This is in this happy ambiance that the chapter end. I know the end is a little bit easy or cliché, but hey, i just followed my instinct of storyteller!! Beside, that was in my intention to include the rest of the Mane 7 to gave me more adventures ideas.
> Chapter 9: New life

1 week had passed and each of the girls of the Mane 6 had find a place to live and a job. Rarity learned that Sunlight was working for a designer and proposed to be his assistant. Sunlight, who needed help, accepted the offer and hired Rarity and together, they made 30 dresses in a week. Fluttershy found a work in an animal pound where she was recruited like assistant. Pinkie Pie joined the cheerleader squad of Metropolis home team. Applejack, her, was working at the Kent farm at the joy of Superman. Rainbow Dash accepted a job as a delivery girl (with her super speed, that job was made for her) and Twilight joined the Star Labs scientist team like assistant. The 6 heroes were all living in the same building than Sunlight and Sunset.

For the artifacts and costume of the rest of the Mane 6 gave by Discord: Applejack got a pair of super gloves which were able to multiply by 100 her strength and super boots, which could create little to medium seismic attacks and by used to kick enemies. Her costume was a black, grey and silver metal armor, thin but very resistant to blows. She decided to call herself Mighty girl.

Pinkie Pie, her, received a long magic steel hammer (like Harley Quinn’s one) which could break almost anything, change of size, and a magic Hula-Hoop which could be used as a magic portal (like the Boom Tunnels) or a weapon if thrown on the opponent (s). Her costume was based on Harley Quinn, but with dozens of shades of pink and red. She decided to call herself Pinkie Quinn (She can break the 4th Wall, guys, in any universes, sure she heard of Harley Quinn, who is like a R rated version of Pinkie Pie.)

Rarity received a beautiful necklace and fancy earrings. The necklace gave her unlimited stamina when she used her magic (She didn’t felt fatigue anymore) and the earrings gave her the ability to shape other type of gems, like shields made of ruby or black diamond (which have their own special effect). Her costume was what she called a combat dress, combining elegance for the look and convenience while fighting. She called herself White Diamond.

Twilight, her, didn’t received magical artifacts, but instead a sort of battle armor combining the best of technology and magic, coming from the future of another universe. The armor was made for a girl and feminines features were visible on it. The armor was light purple, pink and dark purple. It was able to tank a lot of attacks, magic or not, and was full of gadgets waiting to be discovered. She called herself Dr. Magic. Now, in the present, the whole team of young heroes was reunited at the Hall of Justice. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Aquaman, Cyborg, Hawkman and Martian Manhunter, were also present.

“I reunited you here, today, said Superman, to told you that we have new members in our League, they are young and will need mentoring of experimented heroes, like you. With the help of my friend Bruce, we determined the pairing.”

“I begin by myself, said Batman. You already know i trained you, Sunlight, But i think i can help someone else. I thought about you, Pinkie. I analyzed your psyche and i think it can benefit to both me, Gotham and you.”

“I knew it!! Said Pinkie Pie. Do i will have a bat costume?”

“No, he answered. But i can modify yours to gave it a bat-like shape. Deal?”

“Deal!!” said Pinkie Pie.

“Diana, you already had formed Sunset Shimmer, he said. But now, i want you to do the same with Applejack. She have a lot of similarities with you.”

“Hum, okay, she said. I suppose i can always do that...”

“Flash, said Batman, you will be paired with Rainbow Dash. She is a speedster and you are the specialist in this domain. You had students before, i am sure you can have one more”

“Ypu can count on me, Batman!!” he answered.

“Sorry, Flash, you can consider yourself awesome, but i am 20% cooler!” she answered.

“I already like her!” said Barry to Batman.

“Hum, Martian, said the billionaire, i want you to train Sunset Shimmer.  She have psychics powers and you are our specialist in this domain. Can i count on you to learn to her how to master her psychic abilities?”

“Yes, Batman, he answered. I will be her mentor if you order me so”

“Good, now, said Bruce, Aquaman, you will train Sunlight to master water magic, then i will ask Shazam next so he will learn him to master thunder. Teach him water magic and how to fight underwater and yes, before you ask, he can be underwater.”

“Thank to this magic pearl, said Sunlight. I don’t have much to learn on fire magic, but i terribly lack of experience in aquatic and thunder magic. You are the water specialist, and i want to master this magic.”

“Fine, said Arthur. But promise me you will do everything i ask you to do and address me as king once in Atlantis. I will train you in fighting underwater, but Mera will be the one who will teach you hydro kinesis”

“I promise, said Sunlight. But what about the thunder magic? I am not sure if Shazam is able to teach anything to someone...”

“I know someone who will be able to train you for that part, said Batman, Black Lightning!! He pass his time to teach and he is like you. You can absorb fire and heat and him, he can absorb electricity. Also, Zatanna told me that she knew someone who could teach you Wind magic, Earth Magic and Nature magic. You should visit the Mystery House when you will be available”

“Cool!! Count on me” said Sunlight.

“Rarity, he said. Your powers have similarities with the solid constructs of the Lanterns. So, i want Hal to be your mentor. Is that okay for you two?”

“I am okay with that, said Rarity. I like his costume, this green is so perfect and that mask, elegant!!”

“Hum, i didn’t teach in a while, answered Hal, but i can restart to do it!”

“Hawkman, said Batman, you and Hawkgirl will be Fluttershy’s mentors. She have awesome powers that only you can help for. I will also ask to Vixen to also train her.”

“Seem fine to me, said Hawkman. I always wanted to be someone mentor!! Hawkgirl will be so happy to have a student!”

“Yay!” said Fluttershy.

“So, now, that only let one last pair, said Batman. Cyborg, i count on you to teach her how to use this Hi-tech/Futuristic magic armor. And please call Raven too, she will train Twilight for the magic part.”

“Alright, Batman, he said. I am honored you ask me to train someone...”

“On my side, said Twilight. I am a passionate of science and technology and Cyborg is unique in that genre. I always wanted to study cybernetic!!”

“Good, said Batman. So now, the training will begin next week. That mean you can all return doing what you were doing. I will call you, Pinkie, when i will need you”

He disappeared like by magic. Pinkie Pie was impressed.

“I’ll see you next week, Dash!!” said Flash.

“Yeah, sure!” she said.

Flash disappeared at the speed of light. Green Lantern also left after telling Rarity he’ll saw her next week. Then, the rest of the league did the same. When everyone had left, except the Mane 7, Sunlight and Superman, this one told her to also return home.

“You are free to leave now, said Clark. You certainly have things to do, me too i have things to do.”

Superman left the Hall. Then, the group also finally left it to go home. On the way, Sunlight had a thought for his family and his old friends from Equestria. For the first time since he arrived in this world, he never had that kind of thought.

“Why am i feeling like if i had a void in my heart? He said to himself. I have wonderful friends, i am officially a superhero, i have a good quality of life, i have these powers, so why i feel this void?”

While he was walking, Sunlight saw many couples passing beside him, happy and laughing.

“Look at them, he thought. They are happy, even without powers, money, friends or super identity, they all smile and laugh. I guess the are happy cause they have love. Do i really need a love interest to be happy in life? I refuse to believe it! I just need to find more things to do!! I don’t need a love interest!! Not now!!”

While he was walking, he didn’t seem to realize the outside world, lost in his thoughts. Then, Sunset arrived to join him, coming from the sky. She landed in front of Sunlight, who didn’t noticed her, lost in his thoughts. Sunset used her mind reading powers to read his thoughts. What she perceived in his heart and mind just make her feel sad for him. His brother was feeling the same emotions as her, 6 months ago, when she was with the Teen Titans. But that was not for the same thing, Sunlight was feeling lonely, he was lacking this little spark of happiness called love.

“Poor, Sunlight, she thought. I can’t let him be sad like that, i have to help him find a love interest!!”

Then, she saw her brother pass the entrance of the building in which he ranted a chamber. She stopped him by sending him her thoughts by telepathy.

“Hey, Sunlight, she said to him. You missed the door!!”

“I know, he said by telepathy. That was not my destination...Please just let me alone, Sunset.”

“No, she answered. I know you feel lonely and depressed, but...”

“There is no but, he answered. I just want to be alone for a moment.”

He disappeared using teleportation.

“Like you want..., she said, shook by his attitude toward her. I just hope you will feel better later.”

She return in her chamber, bored and depressed, like her brother. Sunlight, meanwhile, was at the top of the highest tower in Metropolis. ( Lex’s Tower), still moaning. He his joined soon by Supergirl, who was returning home too. She landed next to him.

“What are you doing at the top of Lex Luthor headquater? She asked. Do you know this is the most dangerous place to be?”

“Thinking about how boring is my live, he answered. And i don’t care of its his tower, i just wanted to find the highest building on which to moan”

Supergirl took his arm and landed off the top of the tower, bringing Sunlight with her.

“Isn’t that great to by at this height in the sky?” she asked to him.

Sunlight activated his rocket boots and removed Supergirl’s hand from his arm.

“Meh, he answered. You will need more than that to make me feel better...”

“Feel better? She asked. I...Have an idea!! Just follow me!!”

She flew in the direction of the south alone, but come back when she saw Sunlight was flying in the opposite direction.

“Oh no, you come with me!” she said, grabbing his arm.

Sunlight teleported away from her, disappearing once again.

“Oh... I really hate teleportation!!!” she said.

Sunlight reappeared this time in an underground, dark tunnel, then, he continued to walk.

“They don’t understand that i don’t need attention right now!! He said. I am just asking to feel better, but i can’t!! If only i could fight 24/7, that would keep me entertained.”

While walking in the tunnel, Sunlight is suddenly triggered by a shiny rock stuck in the tunnels walls. The stone was black and shiny. It was emanating an aura of darkness and despair. Without even thinking, he removed the shiny gem from the wall and gave a look at it, then put it in his pockets and continued to walk. Suddenly, the stone began to glow and he heard a voice in his head. He ignored it and continued his way. He finally returned home and opened the television. Then, Kara smashed his door and entered in the room.

“You are going to pay for this door?” asked Sunlight to her.

“I am still mad you ditched me sooner!! She said. I was just trying to help you and you, you just left like a savage!!”

“And that justify you breaking my door?” said Sunlight.

“I...Uh...Yes!! She said. But if you do this to me once more, you are the one who’s going to get smashed!!”

“Well, i am sorry, he said. But when i am in a bad mood, i need to be alone.”

Kara left the room, Sunset passed right after and saw the door smashed against the floor. She saw Sunlight laying in his bed, watching the television.

“You are already back? She said. I thought it would took longer to calm down”

“What do you want, apologies? Asked Sunlight. Well, i am sorry. I feel way better now!”

“No, you are not, said Sunset. I still sense sadness in you.”

“And soon, i will be more than just sad if you don’t let me alone!” said Sunlight, starting to get mad

“Okay, Fine!! Said Sunset on the same tone. I will come back later in that case!”

She left his chamber and Sunlight continued watching the television. In his pocket, the black stone was still glowing, with more intensity. Sunlight suddenly felt bored and shut the television. He put his hands in his pockets and took the black gem in his hand. He looked at it for a moment. The gem suddenly floated above the ground and glew brighter. After a moment, a spirit appeared from the stone. It had human appearance and revealed to be a girl.

“Uh...What just happened? Asked Sunlight. Who are you, no, what are you?”

The spirit floated around him, allowing Sunlight to have a closer look on the ghost.  He saw the black gem at the place of her heart. She had long and black hairs, an elegant thin body. Shiny red eyes, was wearing a white silk dress, had a smooth greyish skin and a beautiful face.

“You can call me Midnight Madness” answered the spirit.

She stop floating around him. Sunlight suddenly felt his anger, sadness and negative emotions get sucked into the stone.

“What is happening, said Sunlight. What are you doing to me!?”

“Nothing, just feeding on your negative emotions” she answered.

Once she finished sucking Sunlight’s dark emotions, her body started to become real. After a few minutes, she completely transformed in a living being, with flesh and bones.

“Finally, she said. That was since a long time i didn’t feel that alive.”

She looked at Sunlight with a devilish smile.

“Thank you for freeing me, she said. Thank to your negative emotions, i was able to get enough power to get my physical body back. But i won’t be able to keep this form for long if i don’t continue to feed on negative feelings. However, there is for me a way to get a physical body permanently...”

Sunset suddenly came back.

“So, are you feeling better now?”she asked.

She saw Midnight Madness, who turned into a spirit and about to possess Sunlight’s body.

“Who are you!!? She asked. Leave my brother alone!!”

Sunset’s anger made Midnight Madness more powerful.

“You, i love your body, she said. Would you mind if i borrow it from you?”

Midnight Madness entered in Sunset’s body and fused her soul with her body.

“Sunset!!!” shouted Sunlight

Sunset was beginning to transform. Her hairs turned Black and Red, her skin became grey and her eyes turned red and black. A pair of black, magic glowy wings appeared on her back, her armor turned to black, white and red. Her Cutie Mark turned red and black, her sword was longer with a red glowing blade.

“Ah, the perfect body for a perfect being” said Midnight Madness with a demonic voice.

“Sunset...No... Said Sunlight. I’ll make you pay!!!”

He charged at the villain, enraged. Midnight immobilized him easily.

“Oh, you are mad? She asked. Good...Your rage will just make me stronger”

Sunlight calm down and broke her spell. He then blast her with a ray of white magic.

“Dang it, she thought, He is too powerful for me. I need to get more power...”

She disappeared like by magic.

“No!! Said Sunlight. Dang it!!”

Supergirl arrived in his room

“Where is Sunset? She asked. I heard her scream and i heard you shout of rage. What happened!!?”

Sunlight looked at her with sadness and rage.

“First, get everyone here, he said. Then i’ll told you”
> Chapter 10: Midnight Madness

Sunlight had reunited all his friends in his room and explained them everything that happened.

“So, what you are telling us, said Twilight, is that you found a shiny black stone in the middle of a dark tunnel...”

“...And that instead of letting it where it was, said Rainbow Dash. You actually chose to take it with you...”

“...And that this stone was in fact an ancient, powerful, evil magical entity from Equestria” said Rarity.

“...An entity who can feed on the negative emotions of a living being” Said Fluttershy.

“...And that dangerous entity took the body of our friend,  said Applejack. Let me be honest with you, that was not very smart of you...”

“I take all the blame for it, he said. This is my fault, i allowed her to get possessed by that thing. I will repair my mistake right now! I will find her and bring her back to reason. Constantine taught me a powerful purification spell that could free Sunset form the grip of Midnight Madness.”

“And if that doesn’t work? Asked Applejack. You may be the one responsible for this and i understand that you want to repair your mistake by yourself...But she is our friend too, and this is our duty of friend to save her too!!”

“Yeah!! Said Pinkie Pie. Let’s find that evil enchantress and save Sunset!!”

“I will inform the Justice League of the situation, said Supergirl. They will find our friend in no time!!”

“Do it, Said Sunlight. But i think i might have an idea of where Midnight Madness could be right now: Gotham”

“Gotham? Said Rainbow Dash. Hum, that seem logical. This place is quite literally the hell on earth.”

Sunlight called Batman. 

“Batman, it’s me, Sunlight” he said. 

“I know, he answered. I already have been informed of the situation. My satellites have detected your sister heading for the Arkham Asylum. I sent Zatanna, John Constantine, Deadman, Raven and Etrigan stop her.”

“I am coming too!!” said Sunlight.

He closed his eyes for a moment, before disappearing, He reappeared near the place where he felt an great concentration of magic. He saw Zatanna and John taking on an army of zombies. Raven was fighting Midnight Madness with the assistance of Etrigan and Deadman. Midnight Madness suddenly immobilized Raven in magic bounds.

“You have so much darkness in you, Raven, said Midnight Madness. That rage that you have for your father, that fear you have to become like he want you to be...So delicious.”

Sunlight destroyed the bounds immobilizing Raven with a magic beam.

“I won’t let you take another friend, he said. I am going to save my sister, Midnight Bitch!”

“I want to see you try!!” she said.

She shot a beam of magic at Sunlight, who block it with a magic shield. Sunlight countered with his own magic beam. But she dodged it instantly and reappeared behind Sunlight. She impaled him in the chest with her sword.

“Game over, she said. You are dead now!” 

“I don’t think so, said Sunlight, who was standing behind her. You just hit an illusion of myself”

“Impressive, she answered. But i have more urgent stuff to do, attack him, my minions!!”

She used her dark magic to summon shadow monsters that she sent at him. Sunlight made quick work of them but Midnight Madness had already disappeared. The zombies and shadow monsters also disappeared at the same time. 

“Dang it!! Said Sunlight. She ran away!!”

He is joined by Raven and John Constantine.

“I can’t detect her magic signature anymore” said Sunlight. 

“Me neither” said Raven. 

“John, asked Sunlight. Do you think you can retrace her with one of your spells?”

“I am on it” he answered.

He took a needle from one of his pockets and made an Earth globe appear from nowhere. He pronounced an incantation and the needle began to float above the globe. They saw the needle moving randomly on the surface of the globe.

“Well, shit, said Constantine. The needle should have stopped by the time.”

He stopped his spell and put back the needle in his pocket.

“Let’s get back to the House of Mystery, said Zatanna. You too, Sunlight.”

They returned to the House of Mystery. 

“Oh, can you bring my friends here? Asked Sunlight. They are as much concerned as i am.”

Zatanna immediately casted a spell to summon Sunlight’s friends inside the house. A few second laters, the girls appeared in front of the group.

“What just happened? Asked Rainbow Dash. I was running in direction of Gotham a few seconds ago! Where am i?”

“You are in a place called the House of Mystery” answered Constantine.

Zatanna helped them to get back on their feets.

“This house is a sentient being, she explained to them. It serve as a shelter against magical threats but also as a mean of transportation between dimensions. It also contain a lot of ancient and powerful magical artifacts.”

Twilight was freaking out. 

“Oh my!! This place is so awesome, she said. I have to learn everything about this place!!”

“I love the style of this house! Said Rarity. A little bit old, but nice-looking!”

“You will be able to explore the house later, said John. For now, the priority is to find your friend.”

“Right, said Sunlight. Hum, But even if we find her, what could we do? She was beating you, guys. And i doubt i can take her in a one vs one battle...”

“I may have an idea, said Twilight. You said that this Midnight Madness get her power and strenght from negative emotions, right?”

“Yes, he answered. What is your point?”

“Hum, in that case, said Twilight. Couldn’t we just weaken her with positive emotions?”

“In theory, that could work, said Sunlight. She wouldn’t be able to feed on our bad emotions, but it wouldn’t weaken her directly.”

“Couldn’t we just blast her with our magic Rainbow Laser?” asked Rainbow Dash.

“How? Asked Sunlight. You need Sunset for it to work...”

“There is me, said Twilight. I represent technically the Element of Magic...Did you forgot about that?”

“True, said Sunlight. But the laser will be less powerful without Sunset, and probably not be strong enough to save her...”

“Hum, first, we should probably get more information about Midnight Madness, said Fluttershy. We know almost nothing on her, except she feed on bad emotions....”

“Hum, the Royal Library of Canterlot, said Sunlight. Discord!! Can you open a portal for me?”

A magic portal appeared in front of him.

“Well, I will be back soon!” he said.

He jumped in the portal and landed on the floor of the royal library. He immediately started to search. After 2 hour of research, he finally found something. A book titled «Ancient Creatures of the Shadows». He started turning the page until he found the Chapter on Midnight Madness. He read it.

“Nothing on her weaknesses, he said. But at least, I know her origin story, how to counter her magic, and how she was defeated the first time. I need to return back to the House of mystery. Discord!!”

A portal opened in front of him. He jumped in it and landed on the top of the House of Mystery. 

“Seriously? Asked Sunlight. Could you not just bring me inside?”

“I couldn’t, answered Discord. You’ll have to knock at the door if you want to enter.”

Sunlight teleported himself in front of the front door and knocked. The door opened and Sunlight entered in.

“I am sorry, said Zatanna. But the House of Mystery is protected by a barrier that prevent anyone to enter in via magic portals or teleportation without invitation or permission.”

“So, why Discord portal worked the first time?” he asked.

“The barrier only prevent people to ENTER in it, Not leaving it, she answered. This is why the portal your friend used worked, because he used it to get you outside of the house.”

“So, Sunlight, said Twilight. Found something?”

Sunlight show them the book he found and explained to them what he learned about her.

“First, he said. She is the last specimen of a rare and very ancient species of shadow creatues created by Grogar and called the Specters. And it seems that Midnight Madness was their leader, their “Queen” and she was the only one who had the ability to possess the body of living creatures. She was defeated by Gusty the Great, but the book don’t tell how Gusty did so.”

“Hum, when you found her, she was trapped in a magic gem, right?” asked Twilight.

“And also, how did she end up like that in the first place too?” aksed Rarity.

“She must have used some sort of containment spell, answered Zatanna. This is like a banishment spell, but instead of sending the target in another dimension, you seal him inside an object, preferably magical or surnatural. Ask John or Raven about it”

“Raven?” asked Sunlight.

“Yes, she said. I sealed my father, Trigon, inside the crystal situed on my forehead.”

“And that guy is one hell of a powerhouse!” said John.

“But we will have to separate Midnight from Sunset’s body before sealing her.” said Sunlight.

“Indeed, said Twilight. But we still have to find a way to get Midnight Madness of our friend’s body.”

“Without hurting or killing Sunset, said Applejack. If we can get to her at least...”

“Hum, said Pinkie Pie. I know!! Let’s combine our Rainbow magical Laser to a your purification spell, Sunlight!!”

“Hum, that could work, said Sunlight. The Rainbow Laser will weaken Midnight Madness’ magic and give enough power to my spell to get her out of Sunset’s body, all of it without hurting our friend. But charging the spell will take some time.”

“We will gain you time, said John, We’ll distract her”

“Now, we just have to locate her” said Zatanna.

“I think i know how we could do that, said Raven. Damien told me that he put on everyone he met a cookie”

“You mean a micro GPS chip?” asked Twilight. 

“Yes, answered Raven. Can you bring him here, John?”

“Why not?” he said.

Damian appeared in the middle of the room. He saw Sunlight and Raven and the rest of the group.

“We need your help, said Raven. Did you put on Sunset one of you tracking chips?”

“Of course, he said. And i already found where she is located.”

“Awesome, said Rainbow Dash. Where is she?!”

“At 2000 km of this position, answered Damian. She started to move again. But luckily, i predicted her itinerary. She is heading...Well...In our direction right now, and very fast!”

John ordered to the house to land of the ground. After a few minutes, it touched the ground. Zatanna, John, Raven, Damian, and Deadman left the house, followed by Twilight, Sunlight, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Applejack. Dr Fate suddenly appeared out of a portal.

“Kent? What are you doing here?” asked Zatanna. 

“The Lords of Order want this Midnight Madness eliminated, he answered. She is disrupting the balance of this universe severely, this is what they said to me.”

“Well, i am glad to have you on our sides” said John. 

Sunlight’s friends also get in position to battle. 

“She arrive, guys, said Damian. I hope you are ready...”

Midnight Madness appeared in front of the group. She had with her an army of mind controlled super villains. Among them were many Meta-Human such as Killer Frost, Rainbow Rider, Bane, Poison Ivy, Grodd, Catwoman, Faust, Solomon Grundy and many other. 

“Let’s the final confrontation begin...” She said
> Chapter 11: The fall of Midnight

Midnight Madness was facing the group of heroes.

“What do you think about my army of supervillains, she asked. They were very easy for me to control, their hatred toward superheroes and their madness was so powerful, and delicious. As for myself...”

A dark magical aura started emanating from her. 

“That magic energy emanating from her!! Said Sunlight. It’s insane!!”

“Surprised, Sunlight? She asked. With this power, i will crush you and your friends and once it will be done, nothing will be able to stop me!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!! Minions, attack!!”

The villains started engaging the fight with the heroes. 

“We will need reinforcement, said Zatanna, they are far more than us...”

“I am on it, said Dr. Fate. Lords of Order, I ask you to bring every superhero that is available here!!”

The first to be brought here was Starfire, followed by Beast Boy, Blue Beetle, Supergirl, Wondergirl, Firestorm, Kid Flash, Swamp Thing, Batgirl, Hawkgirl, Hawkman and finally, Etrigan. They joined the battle soon after. Meanwhile, Midnight Madness had finally revealed her true power and form. She flew in direction of Sunlight to kill him with her sword. He disappeared in the ground and reappeared behind her.

“Since when you can do this?” she asked.

“I improved my magic a lot since i arrived here” he answered. 

She made shadow spears that she threw at him. Before they could reach him, Rarity blocked them with her magic shield.

“You may be able to block my attacks, said Midnight Madness. But you can’t attack me, you don’t want to hurt your friend, don’t you?”

“Sunset, said Sunlight. I know you are in here, somewhere, can you hear me?! You need to fight her!!”

“Poor idiot, she said. Sunset is not in control anymore!!”

She summoned from the ground many shadow tentacles that started attacking the group.

“Tentacles, always tentacles!! Said Sunlight. What is your obsession with them?!”

He cut in half many of them, Rarity was also cutting them with her magic shields, that she used as sawblades. Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were trying to avoid them.

“Grrr, thought Sunlight. I won’t be able to charge the spell with these tentacles attacking us.”

Midnight used her magic powers to double the number of tentacles and increase the power of the villains. Sunlight soon found himself overwhelmed by the tentacles. But suddenly, the tentacles turned into Jello, releasing the group.

“Seem like you guys need some assistance, said Discord, who appeared above the group.”

“Who dare oppose me!?” asked Midnight.

“The Lord of Chaos himself, my darling, answered Discord. I habitually don’t get involved directly in a fight, but for this time, i will make an exception. I hope you’ll be entertaining...”

“Die!!” she said.

She threw at him a laser that he vaporize into bubbles. Dr.Fate suddenly stopped fighting and flew in Discord’s direction Sunlight stopped him.

“This is okay, he is a friend, said the hero. He may be the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony, but he is not evil.”

“His presence in this dimension doesn’t please to the Lord of Orders, said Kent. This creature is pure chaos.”

“I hear you!! Said Discord. I may be a creature of pure chaos, but i am not evil. Consider yourself lucky that i am on your side, Kent...And as i know, Order can be seen as evil when it became authoritarian.”

“You have a point, said Fate. Order is not always good and can be used to do bad things.”

Sunlight was starting to charge his purification spell and the girls, ready to summon a Friendship Rainbow Laser. But as Sunlight began, he was stroke by the blast of an explosive rocket. Not affected by the projectile, Sunlight turned his head and saw a muscled man standing on a kick-ass custom Motorcycle. 

“Who are you?” he asked.

“The name’s Lobo, answered the biker. Space Bounty Hunter...I am here to claim your head and the bounty coming with it.”

“Come and try to get it, Hobo!!, asked Sunlight. Discord, can you hold 10 minutes the time i teach to this dumbass a lesson about respect.”

“My name’s Lobo!! Said the Bounty hunter. Not Hobo!! Unlike Superman or Batman, you will be an easy target.”

Sunlight snapped his finger and set on fire Lobo’s underwears.

“Hot hot hot!!!! He shouted. You bastich!! You will pay for that!!”

Sunlight blasted Lobo with a magic beam that sent him a few meters away. Sunlight shot another beam, but Lobo took it without flinching.

“You’ll need more than that to bring down the Main Man, said Lobo. My turn now!!”

Lobo grabber Sunlight with a hook and threw him around like a piece of trash. Sunlight broke free from the chains and stroke back by summoning from the ground a sharp rock that crushed Lobo’s balls.

“You...Fight dirty...grrr...I think i start to like you...He he, said Lobo. But i can play dirty too!!”

He threw at Sunlight a sticky cryogenic bomb that froze him solid.

“Like it? Asked Lobo. Luthor made it especially for you...You won’t break free of that one easily...He he he”

Applejack smashed the ice prison with her fists and freed Sunlight.

“What? You cheater!! Said Lobo. Too coward to fight me one on one?”

“Nah, said Sunlight. Girls, get him!”

Rainbow Dash bound Lobo with one of his chains, then Twilight paralyzed him with a plasma electrified net. Applejack took his bike and smashed it against his head. Fate finished the Bounty Hunter by banishing him in a portal.

“Where did you sent him?” asked Sunlight.

“At the end of the universe, he answered. And without his bike, he won’t get back to Earth soon” 

“I recognize your great power, Lord of Chaos, said Midnight Madness. But even you won’t dare hurt me...You can’t win this battle. I become more powerful each seconds!!”

Discord snapped his fingers and muted Midnight.

“I couldn’t support her trash talk longer, he answered. Now, is that spell of yours ready?”

“Yes, said Sunlight. Girls, this is the moment!”

The girls holded hands and started to glow intensively. Their auras combined into a Rainbow Laser.

“Fire at will!!” shouted Sunlight

The girls blasted Midnight Madness with the rainbow laser.

“You imbeciles!! She said. That won’t...Be...Enough!!”

Sunlight’s spell hit her.

“We know, he said. But it is enough to depower you for my purification spell to work on you!!”

“No!!!! Shouted Midnight. Curse you!!”

She was forced to abandon Sunset’s body. This one felt toward the ground but Sunlight caught her before she touched land. 

“Azarath Metrion...Zinthos!!” said Raven and John Constantine.

A beam of dark magic stroke the villain.

“What have you done to me?” she asked. 

“We cut your powers, answered Raven. You won’t feed on negative emotions anymore”

Sunset woke up and looked at Sunlight and her friends.

“Thank you, everyone” she said. 

“You’ll thank us later, said Sunlight. We have to deal with her first”

“Right, she said. Girls, let’s destroy that fucking bitch!” 

She hold her friends hands and summon another Rainbow Laser.

“Nooooooooo!!!!” Yelled the Specter.

She was vaporized by the laser and the black stone was destroyed completely. The Villains who were mind controlled turned back to reason and where quickly neutralized by the heroes.

“We won!!! Shouted Supergirl!! Yay team!!”

Sunset hugged her brother, Supergirl and her friends

“Thank you to every single one of you, she said. Thank you for saving me...”

“I am sorry, Sunset, said Sunlight. All of this happened because of me, of my stubborness. I should have took you help and the one of Kara too.”

Sunset hugged him again.

“That’s fine, everyone does mistake, she said. But for me to forgive you, you’ll have to do all my chores for a month...”

“I saw this one coming” he said

“Well, after that awesome victory against that evil enchantress, do you know what we need?” asked Pinkie Pie

“A party?” answered Sunlight

“A PARTY!!!!” Yelled Pinkie.

A few hours later, all the heroes, including the Justice League, were celebrating at the Hall of Justice. Everyone was having fun, even Batman, who decided to play the billionaire playboy for this party. Zatanna and Sunlight were performing a magic show on scene. Constantine was drinking with Etrigan, Flash and Rainbow Dash were competitioning to determine who could eat the more hot dogs. Discord and Fate were having a discussion about Order and Chaos. At the end of the day, everyone returned home. But were still alert to answer to a crime alert. Sunlight was talking to Sunset.

“You know what? He said. I think we should return home...”

“Are you serious? She asked. I thought you loved this place...”

“I sure enjoy it, he answered. But i think i had enough adventures for now...”

“Hum, but we can’t leave like that, she said. What about the lives we built here?”

“Discord finished my dresses, he said. I will send them to my boss tomorrow and quit my job tomorrow.”

“Yeah, i think me too, said Sunset. But what about the money in our accounts. What will happen to it?”

“We’ll gave it to Charity organizations, answered Sunlight. Anyway, i still have a millions in my Canterlot bank account..Well, i hope...”

The next day, Sunlight, Sunset and the rest of the Mane 6 quitted their jobs and said their goodbyes to their hero friends.

“We will never forget you, said Superman. You helped us a lot and done a lot for this planet. You have our most sinceres congratulations.”

“But your world need his heroes, said Supergirl. And they are in good hands with you!”

“Hey, Blaze, said Batman. Take this as a gift.”

That was a customized motorcycle.

“Woah!! Thank you, Batman, he said. I don’t know what to say...”

“This motorcycle is ultra-performant, equipped with boosters, bulletproof tires and windshield, a flamethrower and many other gadgets you will discovered...”

“And for you, Dashie, said Flash, I want to give you this suit. It is made of the same tissues that my costume’s made of.”

“I like it!! She said. So awesome!! Thank you, Barry!!”

After a few last goodbyes, Discord opened a portal and sent back the group home.

“Hum, do you want me to return you back in time?” asked Discord.

Discord reappeared. 

“Don’t worry about that, he said. I erased the memories he had from you two...and from Lobo, Deathstroke and Deadshot too...No need to thank me!!”

“Well, let’s return home, said Sunset. I am tired and i need to play on my new video game...”

“My family probably need me” said A.J. 

“I have dresses to do” said Rarity

“My pet friends need me” said Fluttershy.

“I need a nap, said Rainbow Dash, like a long, long nap”

“And i have cakes to bake!! Said Pinkie. Tons and tons of cakes!!”

The group returned to their respectives homes. A few hours later, Sunlight was consulting a dating site.

“Well, i imagine i can give a try, he said. That can’t hurt me...”
