Spike and friends update the Draconomicon. By having him breed dragonesses of every kind of dragon.

Realizing just how little ponies know about dragons Twilight realizes it is time to update the Draconomicon before all the mares Spike knock up starts giving birth. Of course Ember sees this as the perfect time to lay her own claim on Spike while he learning just how little he really knows about his own people. Note, there will be a large number of OCs in this story.

Drakon

"Why are there no roads or trains in this country?!" Limestone shouted as Spike carried her though the clear skies of the dragons land.

"I guess dragons just feel like they don't need them." Fluttershy answered as she and Twilight flew beside Spike.

"Well at least it gives us a bit of time together. By the way I wasn't able to ask before due to me panicking about laying more eggs but how is that new crew I hired for the rock farm working out?" Spike ask the fillyfriend in his arms.

Limestone blush a bit before answering,"They are doing fine. Our profits have increased by at least a hundred percent sense you hired them."

After Spike had found out he had gotten Limestone pregnant he had made sure to hire a whole team of works for the rock farm so that their productivity didn’t nose dive with their best worker out of commission.

It was something that Limestone had mixed feelings about. The rock farm was a family business, owned, operated, and worked only by members of the pie family. Or at the very least those who were members my marriage. Of course this wasn't because of any tradition, it was just because the pie family never made enough to afford hire anypony. Limestone had mix emotions about the extra help. None of the workers would let her do any heavy work whatsoever by order of Spike. "Hey I think I see her." Twilight said as she pointed at a blue dot on a hill.

The three flew closer and sure enough it was the dragon queen herself, seemingly singing to herself.

"Spike I know you are proud that your spell casting is coming along so well but I don't thin casting a spell none of us ever heard before on us is good idea until we practiced itand make sure is one hundred percent safe." Twilight answered.

"Hold up a minute. Did you say let you cast a spell? As in you a statodon casting a spell that isn't breath casting?" Ember asked. Clearly confused by the idea of Spike having the ability to cast spells.

"Well yeah, I learned that I can do magic recently. Why, Is that odd?" Spike asked. A little confused by Ember’s reaction.

"For a statodon it is. Spike are you telling me that you are a spellscale?" Ember asked.

"I'm sorry but what is a spellscale?" Fluttershy asked.

Ember facepalmed."I guess none of you would know based on that useless Draconomicon you sent me." Ember answered with a roll of her eyes."But to answer your question a spellscale is a dragon belonging to a dragonflight that normally can't cast spells other than breath casting like, well us statodon for example." Ember explain

"Dragonflight? Breath casting? I feel like you need to explain more for this to make sense." Limestone said.

Ember let out a sign,"I guess we really are starting with the basics here. Okay, the short answer is that dragonflights are to dragons what tribes are to ponies but they are a little more complex. I'll get to that later. Breath casting is simply dragons using their breath weapons to cast spells. However, spells cast like this are limited to only the same kind of magic as the dragon breath weapon. A fire statodon like me can only really use fire magic or ash magic."

By now Twilight had bulled out a notebook from who knows where and was hanging on Ember’s every word as she furiously scribbled down notes. "This is so fascinating. Can you please go on with these basics? Like what determines a dragon's breath weapon? You said dragongflights are like pony tribes but more complex, can you please explain? Oh I have so many questions!" Twilight said as she wrote down what Ember telling them.

"Okay as long as we are doing the basics I guess I better start at square one. Dragons have three stages in their lives, egg, whelp, and wyrm. And while I think you all have known Spike long enough to know want the first two are so I'm just going to skip to the wyrm part. Unlike you ponies with your tribes we dragons aren't hatched into our flights, instead we enter them after the molt. And while heritage does play some role it isn't as important as you may think. So it’s possible for any whelp to molt into any flight under the right circumstances. Which frankly we dragons don't even understand very well so I won't even try to explain." Ember explain.

"So it is possible that some of my kids may not be statodons at all?" Spike asked in surprise.

"Spike it’s possible your kids may not even have the same breath weapon as you." Ember explain.

"But I thought all dragons just inherited their breath weapon from their parents. Isn't that why fire dragons and ice dragons are said to be different kinds of dragons?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yeah, how is it even possible that some of our kids may not be fire dragons when their dad is?" Limestone asked.

"It has to do with how the egg was incubated. We fire dragons are more common here mainly because of all the lava and heat. Back when we lived in the frozen north around the yaks ice dragons were more common. Dragon eggs are just adaptable like that, if you incubate them right you can get all kinds of crazy breath magic. In fact we dragons sometimes experiment with our eggs just to see what kind of breath magic we can give our kids. Problem is it’s tartarus and half to train a welp who’s got different breath weapon than you do. Still, unless some crazy or strange incubation method is used the whelp will just inherited one or in some cases of mixed dragon couples both of their parents breath magic. And giving the case you find yourself in Spike I should also add that in case of dragon mothers like these three all kinds of things can change the breath weapons of you kids." Ember said

"Now that I think of it I haven't seen Typhon breath any smoke or embers sense he was hatch. I wonder if the odd way he was laid gave him a different breath weapon?" Spike wondered out loud as he thought of his first born son.

"Was what so odd about how he was laid?" Ember asked.

Ember shock her head. "No, it’s not. in fact it’s really good. Spike being a spellscale double dick drakon makes you one of rarest and most valuable dragons there are. "So drakon are drakes that lay eggs? How does that make any sense?" Limestone asked.

For those of you wondering, drakon is an ancient Greek word for dragon, normally used for male dragons. But in G4 used the term drake for male dragons when they felt like giving a term for male dragons.

There was a row of needle-like spines down the back of its neck that were mostly the same yellow as her scaled with bits of red and pink on them. Finally she sported a pair of bright emerald green eyes.

The lower middle head was a snow white with dark purple underbelly scale’s running down it’s section. This head looked more like a normal female dragon head with a pair of pure black horns sticking out from the back. The most unique aspect of it was that it had short tuffs of purple curly fur running down the back of its neck with yellow and blue in lighter shades of stripes. The head sported a pair of bright blue babydoll eyes.

The bottom right head was yellow with a pink underbelly. It had softer, rounder features than the others. With a pair of fin-like ears on her head, snakes for hair, and soft round ridges going down the back of its neck. The ridges and snakes were mostly pink but there were some green, light blue, and darker pink ones as well. This one seemed to be a heterochromia. With it’s left eye being blue and its right eye red.

The upper left head was pink with a darker shade of pink underbelly. It had a short snout like that of a rhino. Complete with two horns growing from the snout that were both dark pink with yellow, orange, and blue stripes on them. It also had a pair of saber fangs jutting from it’s upper jaw, with a pair of smaller, but still large fangs behind them on her bottom jaw. It also had ram-like horns the same color as the rhino horn, and cat-like ears on the side of its head. Down its back ran hexagon like bone plates, and its eyes were a dark blue.

The upper middle head looked a lot like Spike's head in his giant size form, but more feminine, and it had curved a horn growing from its forehead. Its underbelly was also a darker shade of purple, and the frills on its head and back a darker shade of purple with stripes of yellow, pink, and a different shade of purple breaking it up. Its eyes were also a deep purple.

The upper right head looked a lot like Ember but not as scrawny. It’s belly was a rainbow of colors and it had a mane of rainbow color feathers with them running down its back. Its eyes were also a deep shade of red.

"It seems my beauty has you stunned."The white head said with a giggle.

"Not that I can blame you, it isn't every day you see chromatic leviathan drakaina princess." The orange one said.

"Especially one with such divine build like me." The blue one said.

"Excuse me ladies, but why are you all naked?" Twilight asked as she blushed deeply.

"It’s lady darling, not ladies. I take it you’ve never talk to a dragoness with more than one head before?” askedthe white head

"Well, to start a chromatic dragon is what you call a dragon with multiple heads. Each one is a different color with a different breath weapon. Other multiple headed dragons normally have their heads looking the same with the same breath weapon. And in case you're wondering, my breath weapon is fire." The purple head said.

"Ice." The white one said.

"Lighting." The blue one said.

"Acid." The yellow one said.

"Sonic scream." The orange one said.

"Laughing gas." The pink one said.

"I should also add that it is a dragon tradition to name any chromatic dragoness with five or more heads after Queen Tiamat. The first dragon lord and first known chromatic dragon." The purple one said.

"Leviathans are dragons who can breath underwater. We leviathans also normally have fins and web claws as you can see." The white one explained as she lifted her foot to show off her webbed feet.

"Leviathans can also shoot laser beams from our eye-balls!" The pink one said before showing she was telling the truth by shooting laser beams from her eye-balls and blowing up a nearby rock.

"Now the drakaina part. That is the most important thing about me." The blue one said.

"Is being a drakaina anything like how Spike is a drakon?" Fluttershy asked.

"While also being kept in chastity until they find a master, aka a dragon stud that will be able to make sure their bellies are filled with growing eggs and that their nests are even fuller. And sense we are so rare it is normally the job of high ranking dragonesses to name their husbands as masters. To help make sure we get the best dragon we possibly can. And I should also add that another trick of a drakaina's womb is that drakainas have more than one, In fact I have six. Which means drakainas can get pregnant even while they are pregnant. It also means that as long as you do your job as my master this will be the last time in my life I will be without eggs growing inside of me." The purple one said while giving Spike bedroom eyes.

Hidecarved are call this because they have these strange patterns that kind of look like some dragon carved them into their scales. They are very tough and highly resistant to most kinds of magic." Ember explained.

"I guess any fertility spell I could cast to help out wouldn't work on her then." Twilight said

"Probably not but it doesn't matter, we dragons have our own ways. I had all the breeders and myself eat a few magic gems to boost our fertility. In fact Tiamat is the only one who didn't eat any of them." Ember said.

Ferrous dragons are a strange type of true dragons said to be a lesser group of metallic dragons. They have the least in common of any group of true dragons if you ask me , so I change a bit more with them then any other group.

One who smell really bad despite normally being so pretty, in fact they have a second breath weapon of pure stink." Ember said as she flew back to her seat.

"They also kind of look like zombies, what with their exoskeleton making look like their claws, feet, and part of their tail and mussel looking like their made of pure giant bones." The pink head added.

"And that isn't even counting their weird..I want say eyes but I'm not sure if that is right or not." Blue head added.

"What so weird about their eyes?" Fluttershy ask.

"You have to see them for yourself to truly get it." Ember said.

"Deathly Stare! Your time is nigh!" Orange head roar.

Soon the smoke started to take shape, a strange wingless dragon shape. Two spots of green flame appear in the smoke where eyes should be. Then with a wave of the shape arms the smoke disappear.

And its place was a fearsome dragoness, with dark grey scales covering her body, but not all of it. For her claws and feet look as if she was wearing gloves and shoes of pure ivory bone. So did the lower half of her tail, she also had what look like a bony spine going down her back and her tail. Then there was her face, it look like she had barely any skin or muscle covering her skull, especially her mussel. Then there were her eyes, or lack of them. For instead of eyes she had two dark pits with green flames at the bottom. She also had three double Ds, egg bearing hips and a jelly ass, needless to say she was gorgeous!

"That the pretty dragoness you're were talking about!" Limestone said while looking at the horrifying creature.

Only her unicorn horn remain to show she had any pony blood in her veins.

"Is this something all her breed can do?" Fluttershy ask, clearly confuse on how a mare could turn half-dragon then into a full dragon.

"First off draconthropy aren't really a breed per say, but frankly that is probably the best way to descried us as I have heard no other way of. Second off, as how I did that, well strange things happen when equine and draconic blood mix." Fish Eye started to explain.

"As you may or may not know when dragon ruts a non-dragon the whelps will either be a full dragon, a half-dragon, or a dragonborn. However, when the non-dragon parent is an equine there is another option, and that us draconthropies. We are full dragons who can change between dragon, half-dragon, or equine form at will." Fish Eye explain.

"So, one of your parents is a pony?" Spike ask, not fully believing what he was hearing.

"No, both of my parents were dragons, see there are other ways for draconthropies to come about. Equine dragonborns, equine half-dragons, as well as equine dragonbloods, have a change of making a little draconthropy if they get it on with another equine with draconic ancestry, or just another full dragon. Likewise, when dragons who have equine ancestry, as long as they are the same race of equine of course, get its on there is chance the whelps will also be draconthropies. And of course we draconthropies can make our own little draconthropy whelps. I have also heard that there are magical ways for equines with dragon's blood in their veins to become draconthropies, and even rarer magical ways for equines without dragon ancestors to become one as well. But I don't really know if any of them really work or not, and I have never heard of anyway for a dragon to become a draconthropy besides being hatch one." Fish Eye explains, as Twilight quickly writes down what she is saying.

"My dragon breed only make full dragons or whatever the mother is,...and maybe the father too now that I think about it." Spike said as he thought of his newly laid eggs at home, wondering since Shinning Armor was probably their father if there would be an unicorn colt almost them instead of a filly."Anyway, as I was getting at, that how it works for my breed, but all my wives, and marefriend up there all have draconic ancestry, and my biological mother was an unicorn so what does that mean for me and my kids?"

"I don't really know, I guess by how your breed work your pony whelps may give you some draconthropy grandwhelps. And maybe you will have a higher chance with dragons to have draconthropies. As far the dagon type dragon, well look this kind of body plan for dragons have gotten semi-popular almost some and I wanted to add in it. I decided to call it dagon because most people have only called it kraken before but I think this is a better name for this stye of dragon.

"Simply brilliant Rarity! Mothers all over Equestria will be line up for these dresses!" Sassy Saddle said while looking over Rarity designs.

"It must be so nice to have a little foal growing in your belly, and a husband at home. Does he do...things for your behind? You know, butt things?" Coco ask with her white face slightly turning red.

"Why do you always go to butt things while we talk about this?" Sassy Saddle ask the marshmallow earth mare.

"No reason!" The red face Coco said.

"Now darling let her have her fetish." Rarity said with a giggle.

"Very well, you know Rarity this new line couldn't have come at a better time. After your wedding our sales have been down across the board. Maybe this will help bring them back up." Sassy Said.

"Sadly I don't believe so, there are a lot of powerful ponies out there who aren't to please with anypony taking a dragon as a husband. Much less one of the heroes of Equestria."Rarity said, thinking of the drop in sells, which while not enough to hurt her business in the long run was still noticeable.

"To bad we can't get celebrities and other big name ponies in the fashion industry into the royal dragon breeding program. I bet that would get a lot of ponies to rethink things." Coco said while looking over the designs.

"Darling that is genius! I could make some calls and I'm sure I can talk some them into throwing their support behind the program if not join in out right! Oh Coco I could kiss you!" Rarity shouted in joy, while Coco just blush deeper at the thought of Rarity kissing her.

Arcane dragons are very lesser known group of true dragons from DnD that most have never heard of it.

I known gloomwebs aren't dragons but dragon spawn, and I know they used to be name something else. But I had change to get Spike to bang a spider dragon with this and I think we can all agree that is something we can behind. Also gloomweb is a better name.
