Human Dash takes Pony Dash to a skateboard park to teach her how to skateboard.

It’s been a year since Rainbow Dash talked to her counterpart back on the cruise but thanks to Twilight’s speech, they know what is going on between the portal of two worlds. With the knowledge of Pony Dash being in their world once, they don’t mind seeing the presents of two Dashes out in the open too.

Rainbow Dash desperately ask Sunset to spend a full day with her counterpart to which she accepts. As she takes her pony friend back to her world, she brings her to a park of one of her favorite hobbies. SKATEBOARDING!

“Tomorrow is going to be awesome!” Rainbow cheered as she and Sunset left Sugarcube Corner. “Me skateboarding and teaching some lessons to the younger dudes is what I’m looking forward to.”

“I got to say Rainbow, ever since school finished for the semester, I didn’t expect you to hang out with the kids from the elementary school.” Sunset replied until Rainbow placed her hand on her shoulder.

“Correction, they’re from middle school, from fifth or sixth grade.”

“Oh, sorry.”

As the two headed to the skatepark, they came to a level crossing at the intersection on the road leading to the park. They waited until the walk signal from across the street changed when the next red light came.

“Is Scootaloo coming?”

“She is, but her job is to record all the awesome tricks I do.”

“So she’s the camera girl?”

“Better than leaving her out altogether.” Then the walk signal changed to green, allowing them to walk across the road. As they headed to the other side, Rainbow took out her phone. “I’m going to text their parents so they’re aware I’m responsible.”

When they left town and entered the neighborhood, they’re several more blocks to reach Rainbow’s house. As they continue to walk, it’s getting close to nighttime with the moon in the sky. “Seems you really want the kids to be just like you right?” Sunset asked.

“Only twenty percent cooler.” She giggled.

“Like you always do Rainbow, the best for everyone involved.”

“You know it’s true when it doesn’t involve Equestrian Magic.” Just when they’re one block from Rainbow’s place, the athletic girl then thought of an idea to make tomorrow even better. “Sunset! Before you head home, can you message Twilight about bringing other me here in the morning?” She gets right into her friend's face.

“You mean...her friend, who’s a Wonderbolt?”

“Yeah, the other kids wouldn’t expect, seeing my other awesome self to join in.”

Sunset did remember the time Twilight made her speech back at the Starswirl Festival and how it solved her persistent problems with having both the Equestrian and human counterparts in the world at the same time. Last year when Twilight brought along one of her friends, no one on the cruise had an issue with seeing two Rainbow Dashes since they had been to Equestria on the previous cruise. Granted Rainbow Dash spent most of her time hanging out with her counterpart but still, the idea intrigued her.

“Rainbow Dash, even if she would be happy to come over, her life is just as busy as The Princess Of Friendship’s life.”

“True, she told me everything, but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen her. It felt like she wasn’t in tune with me last year.”

This made Sunset roll her eyes. “That’s probably because she never spent her life in this world like every creature in Equestria. If you were a pony and she was my friend, you would see that this is the most obvious difference.”

Rainbow thought about her offer, involving her counterpart coming over to this world. Even for one whole day, it won’t make any difference to what her other self will be doing for tomorrow.

“If it makes you feel any better, I’ll still message Twilight about it since she doesn’t need to come over.”

“Okay, the only thing I can hope for tomorrow is what she thinks about skateboarding. I’ll do everything in my power to keep her safe.”

Sunset found Rainbow’s plan smart for the most part. She usually isn’t the best at making plans, but when she's without her friends, it’s all up to her. They made it to Rainbow’s place as the athletic girl took out her keys.

“Good night Rainbow, I really hope you know what you're doing.” Sunset waved as she headed back to her place. Rainbow Dash inserted her keys to her front door and entered her house. With her friend giving her a possible chance to meet her other counterpart in her mind, she wonders what she’ll be feeling by the time The Princess Of Friendship talks to her about it.

As she headed inside her bedroom, she put on her pajamas and went to bed. Only the amount of time until morning will tell before she arrives with a bunch of kids waiting at the skateboard park.

Rainbow Dash woke up and headed back to the statue by Canterlot High at seven in the morning. She got a text from Sunset that she’ll have to wait to see if her counterpart actually appears through the portal. The athlete had never woken up earlier in the day during non school days, but she needed to make sure if her offer did come true just before she heads to her next destination. She spends most of her time pasting around the courtyard, waiting until something happens.

She checked her phone and received texts from the parents of all the kids that they just left their houses to drop off the children at the park. She didn’t want to be late, but she’s concerned if she might. Luckily, the very next minute, the portal is reacting with Pony Dash emerging while landing on the pavement.

“Rainbow Dash!” Human Dash happily reacted. “I was hoping you would come!”

“Well, I had less to do on my schedule for today, so when Twilight told me that you want me to come over, I knew this would be the perfect chance to do so!” her pony counterpart said, getting onto her feet.

“Did she tell you about the speech she made at the Starswirl Festival?”

“Yes and now, I hope she’s right.” Pony Dash looked into her surroundings and only saw one person on his bike on the sidewalk. “Because we’re not on a cruise this time, where you’re taking me could easily change everything in a second.”

Human Dash giggled from her counterpart being too aware of herself. “Wow. Guess that year away from being on the cruise felt longer to you huh?” She gave her counterpart a hug, while getting back on topic. “You're becoming like Twilight who is always feeling stressed in situations like this. You know we’re better than this.”

Pony Dash makes an awkward laugh upon hearing her counterpart friend. “Yeah, I’m really making this day a bit less awesome for us.”

“The day has just begun.” Human Dash breaking the hug. “Let’s go to the park. You will meet tons of kids there.”

“Okay but how are they going to tell who’s who, between the two of us?”

“Don’t worry, I have it under control.”

At one of the many skate parks in the city of Canterlot, four children with their skating gear are sitting on a bench with Scootaloo preparing to set up her camera. The Rainbow Dashes arrive while also wearing uniforms but Pony Dash has her hair done up into a ponytail. It was the same ponytail Human Dash used on the cruise.

“Are you sure this is going to work?” Pony Dash getting off her counterpart’s bike.

“Hey, the people on the cruise saw us completely different when we wore different clothes.” Human Dash parking her bike. “And kids are easily convinced when they see different hairstyles.”

“Yeah, the fillies from my fanclub are too obsessed to even be aware. Not that what we’re doing isn’t bad at all.” her pony counterpart put on her skating helmet while looking at the park itself.

“I hope you make a great impression, letting you know, Scootaloo is here.”

This made Pony Dash give a snarky smirk. “Looks like she and her friends will have the best day of their lives. Believe that.”

“I like where this is going.”

Back at the park, Scootaloo has just turned on her camera, ready to press the record button at the right time. “Is Rainbow Dash coming?” Super Funk asked.

“Because it feels like she’s gonna be late.” Lily Longsocks added.

“She isn’t always late when she’s with her friends, so don’t expect her to pop out with an awesome introduction.” Gallop J. Fry added.

“Boys and Girls!” Human Dash called with her counterpart on her side. Scootaloo immediately pressed the record button but once she looked through the lens, she thought something was wrong with the presents of two Rainbow Dashes. When she looked at the other kids, they’ve made the same reaction with their jaws hanging open with the presence of the two counterparts.

“Rainbow...Dashes??” Scootaloo blinked, in sheer amazement.

Pony Dash liked the reaction from the kids with the fact they’re not the same ones from her fanclub. “What, you think The Princess Of Friendship is only available when she’s around?” She smiled.

“Because she approves of sending visitors here, when she gives them permission.” Human Dash added.

“Ain't that the truth.” Little Red getting off the bench while giving the pony counterpart a hug.

“Wow,” Pony Dash reacted from the hug. “Didn’t expect a gesture like this so soon after arriving.”

Scootaloo couldn’t help but squeal in utter delight. Just the idea of two Rainbow Dashes instead of one makes this day even better than she expected. She walked up to Pony Dash whilst still recording. “You didn’t tell us she was coming.” She replied. “Is she gonna perform tricks?”

“Woah, Woah, Woah, let’s make one thing clear alright.” Human Dash getting in front of Scootaloo. “For one thing, she’s a pony like her Twilight friend and second, I’m gonna teach her how to skateboard later.”

“Yeah, don’t expect me to be very active.” Pony Dash commented as Little Red let go of her.

“So...what is she going to do in the meantime?” Gallop asked while putting on his helmet.

“I’m gonna be watching you guys perform for about twenty minutes. Then I’ll try to join to do a trick.”

While the kids didn’t like they had to be a little patient, it doesn’t stop them from watching Human Dash to start the day. “Anyway,” The Human Counterpart said, as she looked straight at the camera. “Welcome, you awesome viewers at home! We’re going to give you yet another video,” She turned the camera to the park itself with several people riding on their skateboards. “ON SKATEBOARDING!”

The children cheered which allowed Scootaloo to turn the camera onto them. “Skateboarding, here we come!” Gallop cheered.

“And also remember this.” Human Dash getting back in front of the camera. “You always think that our friend, Twilight’s talking pet dog Spike, was the best thing ever in nature. Well you haven’t seen anything yet.” Then the Pony Counterpart went in front of the lens with a huge smile on her face. “You see me? This isn’t a special editing technique at all.”

“Because those types of skills don’t exist from where I’m from.” Pony Dash smirked.

“And then tons of fanboys scream in their bedrooms.” Scootaloo giggled.

“So true.”

“This is another Rainbow Dash from the land, where the Princess Of Friendship lives.” Human Dash wrapping her arm around her counterpart’s body. “We got along a lot last year during our cruise vacation. So expect many bonding moments between me and her.”

“Man I love vlogging!” Super Funk cheered.

“Kids.” Human Dash turning to her friends. “Show our viewers what you're made of!”

The four kids headed to the ramp where others waited for their turn. Scootaloo then moves to the other side of the park so she’ll get a better shot for the video.

“Man, I can’t believe it actually worked.” Pony Dash smiled.

“Well what can I say, Twilight knows how to make an important speech.” Human Dash looked at the park itself. “How about I’ll show how we skateboard, so you’ll have a bit of inspiration?”

“For my twenty minute break? Definitely.”

For the next fifteen minutes, Human Dash shows her Pony Counterpart tricks that the kids and teens perform at the park. For every stunt that happened, it gave Pony Dash an idea of what she’ll do after getting on the ramp.

“Is it me or is skateboarding and being a Wonderbolt are very similar talents?” She asked which caused her counterpart to look at her. “Well, sort of...minus the flying.”

“What made you think that?”

“Maybe it’s the speed, just like what I do back in Equestria.”

“Actually Rainbow,” Human Dash wrapping her arm around her Counterpart. “Even if magic did appear in my world, we don’t do any of the things you do. My friends don’t fly all the time when we pony up.”

As she turned her attention to Scootaloo who’s taking a break from recording, it made her satisfied. “And skateboarding during your spare time is just enough for me.”

Pony Dash then saw one of the four kids performing on their skateboards. Super Funk did a flip after he jumped off the ramp and once he headed back to his friends, they cheered from his stunt. He knew how to make these children impressed with who she is.

“I think I’m ready to do one trick.” She commented.

“Then go right ahead.”

Once Pony Dash heads to where the four kids are at, Human Dash reminds Scootaloo to get ready to shoot the upcoming highlight. As Pony Dash went behind Little Red, it caught her attention as well with the other kids.

“Rainbow Dash- I- I mean…” Little Red corrects herself.

“You can still call me Rainbow Dash.” Pony Dash strapping her helmet on. “I’m only here for today, there’s no need to make a second name right now.”

“Okay so...what are you going to do?” Gallop asked.

“I’m gonna do a pop shuvit, jump over a rope by doing a backside one-eighty and finally, on my way out, powersliding would make you impressed.” Pony Dash making a smirk.

“Those moves aren’t really impressive, they’re basic for beginners.” Lily Longsocks commented. “But then again, you’re not really athletic, so I bet viewers would appreciate that.”

“Now that’s the spirit I wanted to see.” Human Dash called with Scootaloo by her side. “My friend wants to show off the basics, since she’s new to this.”

“Yeah.” Scootaloo lifting her camera. “Show your friend’s subs what you're good at!”

After hearing the positive attitude, it’s only a matter of time before her turn comes. Confidence from her times at Equestria have always led her to success, but not too much more than that.

“So my awesome subscribers,” Human Dash looked at the camera. “My friend will do one of the basics of becoming a skateboarder. I really hope you take notes because not only this will entertain you, but also give you notes.”

Pony Dash is now the next person in line to go on her skateboard. She dropped her skateboard and got on it just in time she jumped off the ramp. Her attention is locked with multiple people around her who are riding on their own skateboards. With Scootaloo still recording, Pony Dash performed a pop shuvit twice then she headed to where most of the ropes are at. She then jumped over it along with her skateboard which made most of the teens watching from the ramp very impressed.

“Just look at that backside one-eighty!” Human Dash cheered.

“That was actually really cool.” Gallop cheered also.

After Pony Dash did another backside hundred eighty, she tried to head back to her friends while doing her final trick. She finally did a powerslide on one of the smaller ramps. She gained more speed after she turned around at the end of the ramp, without making any mistake, the Pony Counterpart headed back to her friends as she stopped upon landing on the ramp. The four kids begin to clap in amazement.

“That was good!” Super Funk replied.

“Now that’s something a beginner should do to make an impression.” Scootaloo added.

As much as Human Dash found her Counterpart’s stunts fun to look at, she also knew she’ll make the next turn. “I would say your tricks were interesting, but once you see me on my skateboard, I can guarantee you'll be jealous.”

Pony Dash had no words to describe her counterpart’s overconfidence. As she heads behind the kids, Human Dash is all set to perform her stunts as a pro skateboarder. With Scootaloo recording, she wasted little time as she got on her skateboard, riding down the ramp with stunts she loved to show off. With multiple people out of her way, she performed a fakie heelflip which caught her counterpart off-guard in disbelief.

“Oh my gosh!” She cheered.

The other kids also cheered as Human Dash landed back on the ground, landing on her skateboard perfectly. She headed to the rail which made her do an axle stall, still keeping her balance without losing her board. Once she got off of the rail, she performed a no comply, a stunt no one can do as a rookie in skateboarding.

Then here comes her final stunt before heading back to the others. Before riding towards the next ramp, she did an inward heelflip and once she made it to the edge, she performed another stunt no one would do as a rookie, without the risk of injury. The athletic girl performed a blunt fakie, staying still for about four seconds until riding back down the edge.

“That was awesome!” Pony Dash cheered.

“No one would be able to perform a stunt like that!” Little Red added.

“And I got it all on camera!” Scootaloo jumping in excitement.

Human Dash headed back to the other kids on the ramp, not even sweating after the tricks she made. “Are you jealous yet?” She smirked to her counterpart.

“Mostly not, but in the future, I just might be.” Pony Dash replied.

The Rainbows and kids all sat together at one of the picnic tables to take a break from skateboarding. Even with a full day for so many activities, they still need their energy and the occasional break.

“I still can’t believe you're that good at skateboarding.” Pony Dash said.

“Not just good, but great at skateboarding.” Human Dash responded. “I know many more ways to perform similar stunts and as far as I’m concerned, if I was part of a skateboard competition, I would make the judges jaws drop to the ground.”

“I couldn’t agree more.” Super Funk added.

“So what are we going to do next?” Gallop wondered.

“We’re gonna go get some ice cream. After that, we’re going to get back to skateboarding.” Human Dash answered.

“Now that’s sweet.” Little Red replied.

As all the kids continue to take their break, Pony Dash looked at the skateboard park with so many people performing impossible tricks. Even if she won’t be able to stay in this world much longer, she wonders how to become better at skateboarding.

Then she got poked by someone from behind, when she turned around it’s revealed to be Scootaloo. “I have one question.” she asked.

“Okay, what is it?” the pony counterpart replied.

“In your world, Equestria...do you try different techniques to become a great flyer?”

The question made Rainbow interested, including her counterpart, who heard what the question is about. “Well, not like skateboarding in the least, but competitive flyers like me require a lot of speed.”

“Like when you work out hard enough?”

“Yes, it’s the same thing when you run.”

Human Dash remembered answering the questions her fan base asked and most of them are similar to Scootaloo’s. “Well if there’s one thing I know between ponies and us, is the fact that our portal access is always restricted. If we ask them questions similar to what you're talking about, they would feel like Rainbow feels right now.” She pointed at her counterpart.

“I guess that is true.” Pony Dash responded.

“Maybe if I was too curious for my own good, I would go to Equestria and ask my pony self.” Scootaloo rolled her eyes. “But I’m respectful, keeping both worlds apart.”

“Now that’s something I like to hear.” Human Dash smiled. “We have the whole day and we can’t do a lot, especially breaking boundaries like that.”

“Ain’t that the truth.” Pony Dash giggled.

“Well, I think our break time is over. Time to get back to skateboarding!”

All of the kids put their helmets back on and rushed to the park. As for the two Rainbow Dashes, they wrap their arms around each other while heading back to the park.

“Is there anything you want to do after we get ice cream?” Human Dash asked.

“Maybe taking me to your house. Just so I can see what your room is like.” Pony Dash blushed.

“Ohh, now that’s something we could’ve done together sometime after our cruise vacation.”

“I just wanted to head back to Equestria as soon as possible, I’m still a pegasus after all.”

“Yeah, I would’ve felt the same way if I was in your territory.”
