Prologue: Story Time

It was a rainy day as Diamond Tiara sat in her room, with tears in her eyes. She woke up, hoping to spend a day at the beach with Silver Spoon. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. So now, her beach date was cancelled.

"Diamond, dear." Her mother, Spoiled Rich, called. "Are you in there? If so, are you decent?"

"Yes, mother." Diamond answered sadly. "I’m dressed, too."

Spoiled Rich came in, and saw Diamond wear a red T shirt and blue bib overall shorts.

"My goodness, Diamond!" Spoiled Rich gasped. "Are those the clothes Apple Bloom gave you for your birthday recently?"

"Yes they are." Diamond answered, getting nervous. "Please, don't be angry."

"I think those clothes look.." Spoiled went from shocked to amazed. "adorable on you!"

Diamond was surprised to hear her mother say that. "They are?"

"Indeed. Sometimes, you need to change your usual looks once in a while. This farm girl look is a good start. Looks very comfortable on you."

"Thanks, mother." Diamond replied happily.

Soon, Spoiled presented a book to her daughter. "This book your father found will help you get over this foul weather."

Diamond looked through the book, and is astounded. "Why, this is a collection of short stories. A good book to read."

"Thank you, my dear. You could read that book one story a day if you wish." Spoiled prepeares to leave the room. "I'll let you know when breakfast is ready."

"Okay, mom."

As Diamond opens the book, she starts to read. I'm a pretty good reader. The way I read, I can finish this story collection in one day. Maybe.

1. Apples Help Each Other

View Online

Inside the big barn of Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack and her family are preparing their homemade apple cider for a party coming up that night. Apple Bloom is in a big bin, stomping the apples for the cider. Joining her is a young girl with flowing blond hair and wearing a magenta T shirt and blue bib overalls with the cuffs rolled up. As two big jugs of cider were filled up, Apple Bloom and the visitor got on the floor.

"Thanks for helping us out with the cider making, Apple White." Applejack praised.

"It is my honor to help." Apple White replied. "I was very surprised that I was invited to help with this cider party you and your family are hosting."

"We need all the help we can get, honey." Granny Smith said. "It's not often that a student from a storybook school like Ever After High could pay us a visit."

"Since Applejack told me that it's to help make this family’s well known apple cider, I'm all for it." Apple White saw Apple Bloom wave to her to come over. "Excuse me while I rinse my feet off."

As Apple White joins Apple Bloom to rinse their feet of any apple remains, the rest of the family look at their cider jugs.

"This should be a good amount of cider for our party." Applejack observed.

"Eeyup." big Mac replied.

"I hope nothing goes wrong with this party." Granny Smith said with concern. "You know what often happens.”

A few minutes later, the barn is being set up for their party. Apple Bloom went over to the visitor, Apple White, who was setting a table. "I never expected you to come over like this. You usually have on a pretty red and white ball gown type dress. Seeing as how y'all are the daughter of Snow White."

"I have that stored for later, Apple Bloom." Apple White replied. "Besides, since I heard that I was going to a farm, I might as well dress for the occasion."

"I never thought of that. Those overalls do look cute on you."

Apple White blushed slightly. "Aw, thank you."

Applejack came in to the conversation with a concerned look on her face. "I just hope nothing goes wrong this time."

Apple White got concerned. "You're worried about an appearance by the infamous Flim Flam Brothers. Aren't you?"

This shocked Applejack. "How did ya figure that out?"

"From what some of your friends told me, any time you have an event featuring your homemade apple cider, those twin tricksters find a way to swindle that cider from you."

Granny Smith approached the flabbergasted Applejack. "She does has a point, you know."

"Yeah, we are a little worried. " Applejack confessed. "Every time we have a party featuring our famous cider, those scalawags find a way to scam us out of our cider, leaving none for anybody."

"Eeyup." Big Mac added. "It even makes me mad."

Suddenly, Apple White thought of something. "Do you folks have rotten apples stored to make compost?"

"We sure do." Granny Smith answered. "We found a whole lot of rotten apples recently."

"Well, if you can bring out an empty bin, an empty jug, and tools to smash those apples, I might have a way to teach those con artists a lesson."

Soon, Applejack used a shovel to load a bunch of rotten apples into an empty bin. A hose was connected as a jug was positioned under the hose. Granny Smith lowered a lid on top of the apple pile. "This lid will make sure nobody has rotten apple smell on their feet."

Big Mac and Applejack jumped on the lid, squeezing bad apple stuff into the jug. Apple White became impressed. "I thought rotten apples give out an unattractive odor."

"Not in this case." Apple Bloom informed.

Later, Applejack and Apple Bloom were ready for the Flim Flam Brothers. Granny Smith and Big Mac returned to the barn.

"Any sign of them, Granny?" Applejack wondered.

"Nope." Granny Smith answered. "Big Mac and I kept a sharp eye out for them."

"Eeyup." Big Mac added. "Our good cider is safe."

Apple Bloom worried about something. "Where's Apple White?"

Apple White came out wearing her well known red and white dress. "Right here. I just had to change into my regular clothes."

Five minutes later, the barn doors swing open. Sporting their usual red and white attire are the Flim Flam Brothers.

"Greetings and salutations, Apple Family." Flim greeted.

"I hope you don't mind us dropping in." Flam added.

"I wish you wouldn't come by that often!" Apple Bloom replied angrily.

Granny Smith calmed her down. "Easy, child. Don't let those guys get under your skin."

Applejack approached the scheming twosome. "Y'all here to grab some of our cider again?"

"I wouldn't say grab, Applejack." Flam replied, fiddling with his mustache. "Me and my clean shaven brother would like to buy a jug of your delicious wears."

"And, I brought some shiny gold coins for proof." Flim said, opening a small bag.

Soon, Flim presented the family what looks like gold goins. Everyone was astounded. Granny raised an eyebrow. I have a feeling about those coins.

Suddenly, the brothers spotted Apple White among the Apple Family.

"Ah, Apple White." Flim announced. "This is a pleasant surprise."

Flam agreed. "And, what brings one the shiniest Royals of Ever After High to this location?"

"Applejack and her family asked me to help prepare their cider for a party later today." Apple White answered. "Of course, I didn't wear this dress when I helped make the cider."

"She's right." Applejack added. "Our friend dressed up in traditional farm clothes, and helped Apple Bloom smash the apples for the cider."

"A maiden who adjust to any environment." Flam said happily. "A very good notion."

"But, let's get back to business," Flim interrupted. "May we please have a jug of your tasty cider?"

Big Mac brings to the brothers a jug. "Here you are, fellas. No hard feelings."

Flam holds the jug honorably. "We thank you from the bottom of our hearts of gold."

"Speaking of gold," Flim said as he handed Granny Smith the bag, "here's our payment."

"Thanks, Flim and Flam." Granny Smith said. "You guys ain't so bad after all."

Outside, the brothers loaded the jug into the trunk of their car, and they got ready to leave.

"Pleasure doing business with you, friends." Flim said as he started the car.

"Let us know when you stock up again," Flam added, "and we'll be back."

The Flim Flam brothers drove off with the Apple Family watching. Apple White watched with glee. "Hopefully not too soon."

Later, Granny Smith and Big Mac set down two jugs on the table.

"You mean the real cider was in the house?" Apple Bloom wondered.

"Eeyup." Big Mac answered. "We hid them in a cabinet in the basement."

"Those shysters never look in the house for our goods." Granny Smith informed.

Applejack took one of the coins, and peeled off the gold. It revealed a piece of chocolate. "I thought those were chocolate coins wrapped in gold foil."

Apple White ate one of the pieces of chocolate, and liked this treat. "At least we got a sweet reward for your hard work. Too bad victory won't be as sweet for the Flim Flam Brothers."

Applejack poured two glasses of apple cider, and handed one to Apple White.

"Well, here's to more good times together." Applejack announced as she and Apple White raised their glasses.

"Cheers!" The Ever After High student added.

The girls drank their cider. Apple White was impressed with the taste. "Mmmm. That IS good."

2. A Sweet Discussion

View Online

Twilight and her friends met at an outdoor seating area, discussing a past event.

"I heard that the bake sale at school went great, Pinkie." Twilight said.

"It sure did!" Pinkie replied happily. "Thanks to all of those cakes, cookies, muffins, pies, and other sweet treats, Canterlot High School can have yoga classes on Fridays."

"All of that money will go to getting mats, crystals, relaxing music, and other stuff needed for a yoga studio." Fluttershy added.

"You said it, Fluttershy. Me, Mr. and Mrs. Cake, and Ginger made a great team. Some of those pastries were Ginger's creations."

Rainbow Dash put down her mug of hot cocoa, hearing a name Pinkie mentioned. "Ginger? As In Ginger Breadhouse? I heard about that girl. Like all of Ever After High's Rebels, she doesn't want to follow any storylines designated."

"I believe you're right, darling." Rarity chimed in. "Unlike her mother, the Candy Witch from the Hansel and Gretel story, she doesn't use sweet treats to lead others to trouble. She wants to make people happy."

A sweet voice soon replied to Rarity's statement. "I'm happy to hear that."

The girls soon spotted a girl with pink pigtails joining the conversation. As she adjusted her glasses, she was spotted by the party planner.

"Ginger!" Pinkie squealed.

"Hi, Pinkie." Ginger replied.

Pinkie and Ginger embraced each other in a hug. Everyone looked on as Sunset approached the visitor. "So, you're Ginger Breadhouse. Huh?"

"That's me." Ginger answered. "It's good to see you."

"How about joining us?"

Ginger nodded and joined the other girls, all are surprised to see Pinkie's partner in baking.

"I heard you helped Pinkie and the Cakes with all of those treats." Twilight figured.

"That I did." Ginger said. "I heard all about this bake sale Canterlot High School has going on. I thought I could help Pinkie out."

"Is that why you volunteered to help her?" Rarity wondered.

"That's right. Using some of my own recipes, the four of us whipped up some delicious sweet treats everyone would love. And, that bake sale went better than expected."

"Were you afraid that many would stay away when they learned that you're part of the bake sale?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Ginger got a little sad. "A little. Some people who heard of me WOULD steer clear at first. Knowing what kind of person I am."

Sunset felt her pain. "That's probably why Gus and Helga Crumb were scared of you at first. Being the children of Hansel and Gretel, they thought you were going to follow in the footsteps of your mom, the Candy Witch."

"You guessed right, Sunset. But, thanks to celebrity chef Jack Horner, everyone realized that I'm not as bad as they thought."

"That's Jack Horner as in Little Jack Horner. Right?"

"Yes. But, not so little now, if you know what I mean."

Ginger then pulled out a bag. And, from the bag, she pulled out seven sugar cookies. Each shaped like Sunset's old Cutie Mark, and the cutie marks of the girls' pony counterparts. "I made these cookies for you guys. And, I brought some water to wash them down."

Everyone was very happy. They take their respected shaped cookies, and started to munch on them.

"These are delicious!" Rainbow Dash praised.

"You said it." Applejack added. "Now I know why Ginger's baking is great. Granny Smith would love her help in the kitchen."

Ginger Breadhouse smiled knowing everybody like the cookies she baked. It was a sweet day for everybody.

3. Jillian to the Rescue

Twilight was pacing back and forth next to a tall tree in the park when Rainbow Dash and a girl in a green outfit came by.

"Hey, Twi." Rainbow greeted. "What's up?"

"Spike is trapped up there!" Twilight replied while panicking.

Twilight pointed up to where Spike was hanging. He was tangled up by a kite string.

"How did that happen?" Rainbow asked.

Twilight gave a panic filled explanation. "A little girl was playing with a kite when the wind blew it out of her hands. The string wrapped around Spike, and carried him up there. The wind died down. But, Spike is trapped!"

Twilight was crying quietly as Rainbow and the girl in green looked up, and saw the situation.

"Looks like this is where YOU come in, Jillian." Rainbow advised.

"I think you're right, Rainbow Dash." Jillian replied. She went to the tree and turned to Twilight. "Don't worry, Twilight. I'll get him down."

Jillian started to climb up the tree. Twilight was surprised about this scene. Rainbow Dash went over to comfort her. "Don't worry, Twi. If anyone can help Spike, Jillian Beanstalk can do it."

"Jillian Beanstalk." Twilight thought out loud. "Where have I heard that name before?"

Jiullian reached the branch where Spike was tangled. She comforted the little dog. "Don't panic, Spike. I'll get you out of this."

After untangling the kite, Jillian has Spike in her hands, and called to Twilight. "I have Spike free from that nasty situation. Get ready to receive!" Suddenly, she lets go of the dog. "Catch!"

As Spike was falling, Twilight used her magic to stop him, and levitate him down to the ground. Meanwhile, with kite in hand, Jillian climbed down the tree to the ground. Sees a little girl coming, and presents the kite to her. "Is this your kite, little one?"

"Yes, it is!" The girl answered as she takes the kite. "Thank you."

The girl walks away with the kite as Twilight has Spike in her arms again. She then turns to Jillian, grateful for rescuing her canine friend. "You were very brave up there. How did you learn to climb so good?"

"I learned all of my climbing skills from my father." Jillian replied.

Suddenly, a thought came to Twilight's head. "Now I know where I heard your name before. Your father is Jack from the story, Jack and the Beanstalk. Am I right?"

"You guessed correctly, Twilight. I'm glad someone did some research."

Spike soon asked Jillian his own question. "Doesn't your dad's rival, the Giant, have a young relative who goes to your school?"

"Yes." jillian answered happily. "His nephew whose name is Tiny. That young fellow is as large as his uncle."

Twilight then turns to Rainbow Dash. "Is there anything about that school, Ever After High, that's NOT full of surprises?"

Rainbow chuckled as she gives a comical reply. "I don't think so, Twi."

4. If the Shoe Fits, Help Out

View Online

WIth smartphone in hand, Rarity took a picture of an old pair of shoes she doesn't wear anymore. Then, she took a picture of somebody wearing the shoes.

"Okay, darling." Rarity said to the model. "That should do it."

The young lady took off the shoes, and gave them to Rarity. That model turned out to be Ashylnn Ella, one of Ever After High's royals.

"Thank you for letting me help you, Rarity." Ashylnn said as she puts on her own footwear. "So, what's the footwear fashion show for?"

"Well, Ashylnn," Rarity explained, "my mother wanted me to get rid of some of my old shoes, because they're taking up too much space. So, I posted five pairs of them on Offerup, hoping somebody might want them."

"I like that app." Ashlynn squealed. "I heard someone used it to get rid of lot of old action toys he doesn't play with anymore. Transformers, Power Rangers, Beast Wars, and so on."

"True, darling. Get rid of some clutter, and make a little bit of cash as well."

Even though she was happy to help, Ashlynn was a little confused. "But, why did you want MY help. Couldn't one of your friends like Fluttershy or Applejack be useful?"

Rarity giggled as she gave her visitor an explanation. "I asked for you because I hear that you have a shoe fetish, being the daughter of Cinderella, you know. And, I heard about that shoe store you run in your home area."

Ashlynn blushed, knowing Rarity is right. "You got me there."

One week later, Rarity was studying for a math test when Sweetie Belle came in. "Rarity, Ashlynn Ella has just shown up."

"Okay, Sweetie Belle." Rarity replied as she puts her math book down. "Thank you."

Rarity went to door and welcomed Ashlynn into the house. "Hello, Ashlynn. Thank you for coming over."

"It's my pleasure, Rarity." Ashlynn replied. "I got your message. It's sounds very important."

"It is, darling."

Rarity and Ashlynn sat on the couch to discuss this important news.

"Do you remember when I posted my shoes on OfferUp?" Rarity asked.

"I do." Ashlynn answered. "Why?"

Rarity then shouted out something amazing. "I sold all five pairs!"

"Wow! Really? How did you pull that off?"

"Yestreday, I got a message from a business woman who lives in this town that her teenage daughter can use some new footwear. So, I met her at Sugarcube Corner. I gave her the shoes, she gave me the money, and everybody was happy. I made one hundred dollars on those old shoes of mine!"

Ashlynn was shocked to hear that. "Wow! That's like twenty dollars a pair."

"Correct." Rarity replied. She then took out fifty dollars from her wallet. "And, this is for you."

Ashlynn was surprised that she has fifty dollars in her hand. "For me?"

"Yes, Ashlynn. You did model the shoes. It's only fitting I give you half of the money I received. You deserve it."

The shoe loving maiden was very happy to hear this. "This is a great reward for my help. Thanks, Rarity."

"My pleasure, dear." Rarity replied as she and Ashlynn Ella embraced in a hug.

5. Fluttershy Meets the Pack

View Online

On a quiet day in Spring, Fluttershy relaxes near her tent in a forest neat her home. Wearing a long sleeve blue shirt and light teal sweatpants, she sits on a folding chair, admiring the scenery.

It's such a beautiful day for a camping trip. Fluttershy thought. And, it will be a nice clear night later on, with the stars and a full moon in the sky.

Suddenly, something came out from behind a tree. It looks like a wolf wearing an explorer's outfit. Fluttershy saw the creature, and panicked. "Yiiii! A MONSTER!"

Fluttershy zipped into her tent, and started to shake with fear. She wondered where this creature came from.

"Oh my. Oh my." Fluttershy said in a panic. "How can there be a Wolfman around here. It's not even nighttime."

While Fluttershy continues to be scared, a girl's voice called from outside the tent. "Fluttershy? Is that you in there?"

The nature lover got a little confused. Cautiously, she quietly steps outside the tent, and saw a girl with black hair and a white stripe in the middle. She was wearing red hooded cape too. The girl spoke to Fluttershy again. "I thought that's your tent set up here."

Fluttershy soon recognized the girl. "Cerise Hood!"

The two girls hugged each other when Cerise felt Fluttershy's heart pounding.

"Are you okay?" Cerise asked. "Your heart is pounding like crazy."

"I'm sorry, Cerise." Fluttershy said. "I saw something in the woods that scared me. I think it's a wolfman. But, it's impossible because, well..."

"Werewolves come out at night. Right?"

"That's right."

Cerise puts her hand on Fluttershy's shoulder, hoping to calm her down. "I think you might be surprised about that wolfman. Anyway, my mom and I are having a little lunch near this area. Would you like to join us?"

"I think that's a good idea." Fluttershy responded. "It might help me relax after my little panic attack. Just let me put on my sneakers."

After slipping on her sneakers, Fluttershy joined Cerise to an area behind a bush near the campsite. They came to a large marigold colored blanket with a black haired woman wearing her own hooded cape sitting on it.

"Hi, mom." Cerise greeted. "I brought a guest to join us."

Fluttershy's eyes widened as she recognizes the woman. "Oh my! Little Red Riding Hood! A fairy tale legend."

"I'm not so little now." Red replied. "But, I appreciate being called a legend."

Fluttershy and Red Riding Hood hugged each other as Cerise watched with admiration.

"Cerise told me about you, Fluttershy." Red said. "She told me that you love nature."

"That's right." Fluttershy replied. "In fact, I have a campsite near here."

"Oh. Spending the night here, huh? Not a bad idea. Since you're here, would you like to join us for lunch?"

"Me? Really?"

"Why not?" Cerise said to the nature lover. "I think it's nice to have some company join us for a while."

Accepting the invitation, Fluttershy sits down with Cerise Hood and her mother. Just then, the wolfman who scared Fluttershy arrives at the picnic. Fluttershy started to panic again as the wolfman speaks. "Hi, Red. Sorry, I'm late."

"Not at all, honey." Red replied. "We were just ready to have lunch."

Fluttershy soon realized something as she spoke to the hairy visitor. "I just remembered. You're the Big Bad Wolf. And, you're secretly married to Red Riding Hood."

"That's right." Big Bad said. "And, I'm glad you were able to keep our family a secret."

"Many know about Cerise and Red Riding Hood. But, nobody knows of her marriage to you."

"Let's keep it that way, miss Fluttershy."

"Besides," Cerise added, "if any of my friends know about this, it could cause scandal all over Ever After High."

Fluttershy nodded. "I won't say a word. Gossip spreads fast. And, someone from your school might be visiting places like Canterlot City."

"Thanks, Fluttershy. You're a true friend."

Suddenly, the voice of another girl was heard. "Mind if I join this picnic?"

In steps a teenage girl with longer hair than Cerise, and she has wolf ears. Fluttershy saw this visitor, and panicked. "Ramona B-B-B-Badwolf!"

"Hello, Fluttershy." Ramona greeted as she approaches the picnic area. "I heard a lot about you from Cerise."

"What?" Fluttershy yelped. "I thought you and Cerise are always against each other. Even though you two are sisters."

Cerise calmed her down. "No need to worry, Fluttershy. Ramona and I maybe competitive with each other. But, sometimes we put our sibling rivalry aside on occasions."

Ramona sat down next to the nature lover. "And, a family picnic is one of those occasions. So, there's no need to panic, Flutters."

This caused Cerise to raise an eyebrow. "Flutters?"

"A nickname I heard from her spectrum haired friend: Rainbow Dash."

Fluttershy calmed down and felt a little relief. "In that case, let's eat."

Hidden from sight, Fluttershy joined Cerise Hood and her family for a nice relaxing picnic.

Inside the Pie family's house, Cloudy Quartz looks down a knothole in the kitchen floor and is getting very sad.

"Oh, Igneous Rock." Cloudy Quartz said sadly. "My grandmother's ring is down there. It didn't fall far. But, how can anybody get it out of there?"

"Have no fear, Cloudy Quartz." Igneous Rock replied, putting his hand on his wife's shoulder. "Pinkie has just called for a friend of hers to help us out."

"Pinkie?!" Limestone shouted as she and Marble came into the kitchen. "How can SHE help. Even HER small fingers can't get into that knothole."

Suddenly, Pinkie Pie came into the kitchen. A blond haired girl wearing a flower type dress came in with her.

"Don't worry, mom." Pinkie assured. "Nina here can get your grandma's ring back."

Igneous Rock apprached the girl, knowing who it is. "Nina Thumbell. A good choice for this mission."

"If anybody can get that ring out of there," Cloudy Quartz adeed, "you can."

"Leave it to me, folks." Nina replied as she turns to Pinkie. "Do you have that old shoestring I asked you to bring?"

"I sure did." Pinkie replied. she pulls out a pink shoestring.

"Excellent. Then, here I go!"

Just then, Nina shrunk down to the size of a mouse. Pinkie bent down and handed Nina the string. Soon, Nina went down the knothole.

"How did she do that?" Limestone asked.

"Nina has the power to shrink down to the size of a little critter." Pinkie explained. "Not bad for the daughter of Thumbelina."

Marble's eyes widened. "Pinkie's friend, Twilight, read me a story of Thumbelina. I never knew she had a daughter."

"It must be that school Pinkie talked to us about." Limestone figured. "Ever After High."

"I get it. Nina is a student at that storybook school."

Inside the knothole, Nina looks around carefully. Soon, she spots the ring.

"This must be the ring Pinkie was talking about." Nina said to herself as she tries to carry it. Cautiously, she brings it to the hole entrance. "Good thing I work out at the school gymnasium."

Nina ties the shoestring around the loop of the ring, sits on it, and gives the string a tug. Knowing it's a signal, Pinkie slowly pulls the string. Out comes Nina and the ring. Everybody was surprised.

"My grandmother's ring!" Cloudy Quartz shouted as she gets a hold of it. "I can't believe I have it again." She places Nina on the floor. "Thank you, Nina."

"It was my pleasure, Cloudy Quartz." Nina replied as she magically returns to normal size. "Now you have your grandmother's heirloom back."

Cloudy Quartz puts the ring on her finger and smiled. "I shall never let go of you again."

"I have to admit, Pinkie." Limestone confessed. "Your pal, Nina Thumbell, is pretty helpful in these tight spots."

"Well," Pinkie said, "most people maybe small in size,"

Nina finished Pinkie's statement. "but can be big in other things. Like bravery and compassion."

Marble nodded as Limestone turned to Nina. "Yeah. True."

Rarity was enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the beach when she saw Applejack and Rainbow Dash readying their surfboards.

"Hello, darlings." Rarity called out. "Preparing for a little surfing?"

"You bet, Rarity." Rainbow Dash answered. "The waves are suppose to be intense today. Perfect for surfer girls like us."

"How about y'all go surfing with us?" Applejack suggested. "Rainbow and I can help you out."

"I appreciate the offer." Rarity replied. "But, I'm afraid not. Frankly, I'm not sure about how surfing works."

"Don't worry, sugarcube. Rainbow Dash and I can teach you. Right, Dashie?"

"That's right." Dash said. "With our coaching, you'll be hanging ten in no time."

Suddenly, a brown haired girl wearing a deep pink wetsuit and carrying her own surfboard joins the trio.

"Hi there, fellow adrenaline fans." The girl said. "Mind if I join this surfer party?"

Rainbow Dash quickly recognizes the girl. "Whoa. Briar Beauty? What are you doing here?"

"Things are a little slow back at my homeland." Briar answered. "Then, I learned that the waves in this beach are going to be big. So, I packed my beach gear, including my wetsuit and surfboard, and came here to ride the waves."

Applejack was a little confused. "Isn't your destiny to sleep for one hundred years, and be woken up by the kiss of true love? After all, y'all are the daughter of Sleeping Beauty."

"I know I have to accept my destiny, Applejack. But, I might as well live it up until that day happens."

"She does have a point, AJ." Dash added.

Rarity looks at Briar's surf gear. "I love this pink wetsuit you're wearing, Briar."

"Thanks, Rarity." Briar replied. "Pink is my favorite color, you know."

"And, I like this surfboard you have. Lime green with thorn and rose decals all over. Plus the letters E A H in bright red, signifying that you're one of the Royals."

Rainbow Dash got everybody's attention. "Let's quick squawking and start riding the waves."

Dash and Applejack rushed out to the water with Briar Beauty right behind them. In the water, the three girls see a wave coming.

"Looks like a big one coming." Applejack noticed. "Are you sure you can handle this, Briar?"

"I may look sweet and delicate, Applejack." Briar informed. "But, I am extreme in more ways than one."

Rainbow Dash pointed to the wave. "Here it comes!"

Soon, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Briar Beauty were riding the wave. All of them shouting and whooping with excitement.

"This is AWESOME!" Dash shouted. "The waves today are just wild."

"You said it, Rainbow Dash!" Briar said with excitement. "Yahoo!"

The three ladies were having a blast, surfing the big wave. Later, they were relaxing, thinking about that ride.

"When you were saying you were living it up, Briar," Rainbow said, "you weren't kidding. You rode that wave like a pro."

"Thanks, Rainbow Dash." Briar replied. "I did some surfing on the beaches in my homeland."

"That's how she got so good no doubt." Applejack stated.

Rarity came to the trio with a message for the visitor from Ever After High. "Briar, I think you better check your phone. You might have some messages."

Confused, Briar Beauty went to her sitting area, and pulled out her smartphone. She then saw some messages from some of her friends.

APPLE WHITE: Wow! Those were some amazing moves, Briar.

RAVEN QUEEN: Your surfing skills are hextacular!

DUCHESS SWAN: Watching you is like watching a water ballet. Nicely done.

GINGER BREADHOUSE: Sweet moves. And, I do mean sweet.

Briar was shocked to see those messages. "How did they see my surfing?"

"Easy, darling." Rarity explained. "I was videotaping your skills, and sent it over to your friend, Blondie Lockes. You know how she spreads stuff like this all over your school. I hope you're not upset with me."

Briar saw that Rarity was a little nervous. And, gave her an opinion. "My friends know that I like trying extreme sports like this. So, you didn't have to worry. Everybody loves my skills in the water."

"Glad to hear that, darling." Rarity then got another idea. "How about you pose with Rainbow Dash and Applejack for a surfer's picture."

"Good idea. Be sure to send me a copy when you're done."

"Deal."

Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Briar Beauty posed with their surfboards planted behind them.

"Okay, dudettes." Rarity said. "Smile for the camera."

Rarity's smartphone took the picture. Now, Briar Beauty has a picture to show her friends at her school.

It was a quiet Saturday at Canterlot City. At a movie theater, a big muscular boy named Hoops barges out grabbing Sunset Shimmer from the back.

"Nobody wants a she-demon in a place like this, Sunset!" Hoops shouts. "I don't care if your friends brought you here. They're going to purchase SIX tickets instead of seven! Now, GET OUT AND STAY OUT!!"

Hoops pushes Sunset to the ground hard. Quivering with fear and sadness, Sunset runs away. Inside the theater, her friends watched in fear.

"Oh my." Fluttershy gasped . "And, I thought Hoops is always mean to you, Rainbow."

"Yeah, I know." Rainbow Dash replied. "At least he didn't bring his cohorts, Score and Dumbbell, with him."

Hoops walks to the group with a cocky smile on his face. "No need to worry, ladies. That bully won't bother anybody now."

As he walks past the group, he turns to Rainbow Dash with a nasty comment. "You should stay away from that bacon haired dame , Rainbow CRASH!"

He walks away laughing, knowing Rainbow Dash never liked that nickname. Meanwhile, Wallflower Blush, who watched all of the action decided to make a phone call. "Hi. This is Wallflower Blush. I wonder if you can do me a favor."

Outside the movie theater, sitting on a bench, Sunset feels very upset as tears drip down her cheeks.

My days of being a brutal bad girl are gone. Sunset thought sadly. I wish that brute would know that.

As Sunset started to cry, a hand was placed on Sunset's shoulder. She looks up and saw a girl with black hair and wearing a fairy tale style black dress. Sunset knows who it is. "R-R-Ra-Raven Queen. This is a surprise."

"Hello, Sunset Shimmer." Raven greeted. “May I sit with you?"

"Sure. I can use some company right now."

Raven sits next to Sunset in hopes of calming her down.

"Wallflower Blush called me and told me what happened." Raven said. "No doubt, she was in the movie theater when she saw Hoops grab you and throw you out."

"I still can't believe that some people still remember that Fall Formal nightmare." Sunset said, tearing up again. "It's as if someone want to separate me from my friends."

As Sunset started to sob, Raven got a hold of the former bad girl. "Calm down, Sunset. True, that was one of your most hideous moments." Sunset calmed down a little as Raven continued. "But, some time after that, you learned what true friendship was all about. And, you made peace with everyone."

"You're right, Raven." Sunset replied, wiping the tears from her eyes. "Even Vice Principal Luna said that I should put that part of my past behind me. Besides, I made a promise to a good friend of mine."

"That would be Princess Twilight Sparkle of Equestria. Right?"

Sunset blushed a little. "That's right."

As the two girls enjoy the peace and quiet of the day, a thought came to Sunset's mind. "You know, Raven, I'm very surprised you don't want to follow in the footsteps of your mother, the Evil Queen."

"As you know," Raven explained, "we rebels of Ever After High don't follow a designated storyline. Many people expect me to be evil."

"Like Headmaster Grimm, for instance."

"Right. But, I would like to find my own destiny that doesn't require me to be evil. Besides, I know what kind of vicious beast my mom is. I guess you heard about what happened during the Dragon Games."

"Oh yeah. Apple White and Maddie Hatter told me and my friends about that event. You totally stood up to that wicked witch."

Raven chuckled and gave Sunset a pleasant smile. "Wicked witch. That's putting it mildly."

The girls shared a laugh as Flash Sentry walked by.

"Hey, Sunset." Flash greeted. "Twilight called and told me about what happened. Are you all right?"

"I'll be fine." Sunset answered. "It's going to take me a while to get over it. I hope somebody makes Hoops pay for what he did to me!"

"Don't worry. Hoops will regret that. At least you have someone like Raven Queen here to help support you."

As Flash walks away, Sunset and Raven looked at each other and embraced in a hug, knowing one thing. Flash does have a point. The next day, at a pizza place, Twilight and her friends were enjoying each other's company.

"So, Sunset," Twilight wondered, "how are you doing?"

"I'm doing okay." Sunset replied. "I just needed time to get my thoughts together."

"We'll all be here to help you, my dear." Rarity assured.

"I still can't believe Hoops had the nerve to throw you out of that movie theater!" Rainbow Dash said angrily. "I hope you didn't have a bad day because of him."

"Don't worry, Rainbow." Applejack said as Sunset thought about her talk with Raven Queen. "I have a feeling someone out there helped comfort her in her time of need."

"You're right." Sunset replied. "Raven helped me out well. She was there to support me."

"Raven?" Rarity gasped. "Raven Queen? That's one person that knows darkness well. And, does not use it often."

"You're right." Said a female voice.

The group turned and saw Raven with a pleasant smile on her face.

"Raven!" Twilight gasped. "We were just talking about you."

"Hi, guys." Raven greeted. "How's Sunset doing?"

"She doin' fine, Raven." Applejack replied. "Thanks to you, from what we heard."

This gave Raven a happy feeling as she joins the group.

"I guess Sunset is lucky you showed up." Pinkie Pie said. "It makes me sad when one of our own is pushed around."

"I'm sure it does, Pinkie." Raven replied. "Especially if those bullies are old headaches from Rainbow's past."

Rainbow Dash nodded. "I'll agree to that."

Just then, Hoops came into the pizza place and saw Sunset. He soon got mad and marched towards her.

"I told you that you have no friends!" Hoops growled. "I'll have to teach you another lesson."

Raven then stepped up as a dark aura surrounds her. "You want to hurt Sunset? I don't think so."

Seeing this dark energy, Hoops ran off in a panic. Raven turned down her energy as she turns to the girls. "Sorry you had to see that."

"Don't be sorry." Sunset said. "At least you're here to defend the likes of me."

Raven Queen smiled knowing that Sunset is grateful that she showed up to defend her.

Adagio and her fellow Dazzlings, Aria and Sonata, are just walking down the streets of Canterlot City, happy about Aria's victory in the video game tournament last week.

"I am the queen!" Aria shouted. "I am the queen!"

"Easy there, your majesty." Adagio mockingly said. "No need to go overboard."

"Sorry, Adagio. I can't help myself. The competition was mighty tough. But, I kept my cool, and pulled out a win."

"Hey, girls." Sonata interrupted. "Look!"

The Dazzlings saw two girls. One with very long hair, and one with short hair. Figuring out who they are, Adagio approached them. Aria and Sonata followed her, of course.

"Well, well." Adagio greeted. "Holly and Poppy, the O' Hair sisters."

The long haired sister, Holly, greeted back. "Hello, Adagio Dazzle. I was wondering if we would meet you."

Holly's sister, Poppy, joined in. "What do we owe the honor of you and comrades, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk, meeting us?"

"We were just talking about a video game tournament Aria took part in." Sonata explained. "And, she's the winner!"

"Oh, yeah." Aria cheered. "It wasn't easy. But, I came through."

Adagio got curious. "So, what brings the daughters of Rapunzel to this fine city."

"We're spending some sister time, heading for the Mistmane Avenue arcade." Holly said.

Aria got confused. "I've been to a few arcades. But, this one I have not heard of."

"You'd probably like it." Poppy explained. "It's got a lot of old school feels."

"Old school?" Adagio blurted, getting interested. "Mind if we join you sisters?"

"The more the merrier." Holly replied. "Follow us."

The five girls walk down the street, heading for their destination.

"By the way, Poppy," Sonata said, "how are things going at the Tower Hair Salon?"

"Pretty good, Sonata." Poppy replied. "Many of our friends like my work. Courtly Jester recently stopped by, and she loved the way I style her hair."

"Courtly Jester?" Aria blurted. "That wild card? I wondered what happened after she was released from Wonderland Prison.”

Inside the arcade, the Dazzlings look around and are all shocked.

"Old School is right." Adagio realized. "Look at these old fashioned pinball machines."

"We like this section." Holly said. "A memory of the diners of the 1950s."

"I have to agree. No fancy computers or LED displays. Machines like these are a true treasure."

Aria Blaze got everybody's attention when she found a section she loved. "Check this out. Video games of the seventies and the eighties!"

"Sounds like someone is geeking out." Poppy realized.

"You can't blame me. All these great titles. Space Invaders, Tempest, Donkey Kong, Venture, Crazy Climber, Blue Print, Make Trax,.." She then came up to one of her favorite machines. "and the greatest of all, Pac-Man!"

"You're right about one thing, Aria." Adagio said. "These games are cool. Revolutionary back in the day." Adagio noticed that somebody is missing. "Where's Sonata?"

"Over here!" Sonata called out.

Adagio, Holly, Aria, and Poppy went over to Sonata, who giggling as she stands next to a bunch of machines the other girls were shocked to see.

"Check this out." Sonata explained. "Old fashioned movie machines!"

Aria's eyes widened. "Wow! These things go back to the Penny Arcades of the early 1900s."

"I see what you're saying." Adagio added. "Just put in a penny, turn the crank, and it's show time."

"Starting to open up. Eh, Adagio?" Holly stated.

"I guess so."

Finding a machine labeled 'Baseball Flying', Sonata pulled out a penny, put it in the machine, looked in the viewing window, and turned the crank.

"Good thing Sonata always has loose change on her." Aria said.

Sonata watched a pitcher on a mound. A batter is rteady to hit. The pitcher throws the ball, the batter hits it, and the ball flies out of the park. Then, the words HOME RUN were displayed. The light turned off to signal the end of the movie. Sonata gave her opinion. "That was cool! I guess the old saying is true. Motion pictures are your best entertainment."

Everybody smiled at the fact that Sonata had fun. Outside the arcade, the two groups are ready to go their separate ways.

"This is one of the best places you took us to, Holly." Aria admitted. "We feel very nostalgic."

"It's our pleasure, Dazzlings." Holly replied. "Be sure to tell your friends."

"We will." Sonata said as she and her friends walk away. "See you soon, O' Hair sisters."

Adagio turns around to give Holly her own farewell. "By the way, Holly, good luck being the next Rapunzel."

As the Dazzlings leave, Poppy turns to her sister and whispers a fact. "If they only knew the truth."

The sisters giggled softly, knowing that even the Dazzlings don't know that Poppy was born seconds before Holly. And, the O' Hair sisters are keeping that fact secret.

Inside their luxurious home, Filthy Rich and Spoiled Rich have a talk with a blond hair man wearing a golden crown.

"Prince Daring Charming." Spoiled Rich greeted. "It is an honor for you to visit us."

"Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Rich." Daring replied. "I'm very pleased to visit you in your humble abode."

"I heard that you have changed recently." Filthy Rich said. "Changed for the better, I believe."

"Indeed I have. Two events have change me for sure."

"Tell us all about it. And, don't leave out any details."

Daring Charming began one of his stories. "My first change came during the events of the Dragon Games. Hoping to please the Evil Queen, that wayward fairy, Faybelle Thorn poisoned Apple White, putting her in a deep sleep."

"I heard that Faybelle was not appreciated." Spoiled said.

"That's for sure." Daring continued. "I figured that my destiny was to free Miss White from any curse. But, when I kissed her, nothing happened. I was devastated!"

"Then," Filthy wondered, "how did Apple White recover?"

Daring was a little nervous. But, regained his composure. "My little sister, Darling Charming, attempted mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. When her lips touched Apple's, the poison was removed, and she recovered. Everybody was shocked. Especially me."

"I guess it's true. Gender is not always a factor when it comes to love and romance."

"That's for sure, Filthy Rich. The way I see it, looks like my sister will be Apple White's hero when the time comes."

"What was the second moment that changed you?" Spoiled asked.

Daring gave her his answer. "It happened when me and my friends were trying to stop an evil plan by Jackie Frost and her henchman, North Wind. I somehow transformed into a winter beast."

"Oh dear." Spoiled gasped. "Sounds like something from the story, Beauty and the Beast."

"I think you're right." Daring replied. "Before the Dragon Games, I was so full of myself, just like the prince of that story. A new student named Rosabella Beauty came along, to help me learn what a real prince should be."

"Ah, Rosabella Beauty." Filthy said elegantly. "The daughter of Beauty and the Beast. Did her teachings help you at all?"

"It sure have." Daring answered as he continued. "While I was still a beast, I saw Faybelle Thorn confronted by a group of Mob Fairies. They were forcing her to sign a contract to be a servant for two hundred years. I stepped in to save her by signing that contract myself. But, there was something those fairies told me from the fine print."

"What's that, Daring?" Spoiled asked.

"If anybody signs the contract of their own free will, the contract is null and void. Everybody is off the hook, and I transformed back to my human self. Now, a little wiser than before."

Spoiled was very pleased with this story. "That was amazing, Daring Charming. I guess you're a much better prince now."

"And," Filthy Rich added, "you learned that Rosabella Beauty is your true designated princess."

"That's correct, folks." Daring said. "As long as Rosabella keeps pointing me in the right direction, I'll be an horoable prince. No more big egos and constant mirror checks for me."

Suddenly, Daring's smartphone went off. He excused himself to answer the call. Five minutes later, he left the house as Filthy and Spoiled Rich tried to catch up him.

"Prince Daring Charming!" Filthy called out. "Wait!"

"Where are you going, young man?" Spoiled wondered.

"That was my little brother, Dexter on the phone." Daring answered. "He needs help with his chivalry homework."

11. Pinkie's Wonderlanderful Friends

View Online

Rarity was taking a walk in the neighborhood with a sad look on her face when Pinkie Pie called her and motioned her to come over.

"Hello, Pinkie." Rarity greeted sadly.

"Hey, Rarity." Pinkie said. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I just had a hard day at school yesterday. That's all."

"Somebody criticizing your fashion designs again?"

"That's putting it mildly, darling."

Pinkie felt Rarity's pain. Soon, she smiled again. "Not to worry. I know what will cheer you up." She pulled a tray with a teapot on it from her poofy hair. "A tea party!"

Rarity was shocked to hear that. "What do you know about tea parties? You are not the elegant type, you know."

"Tea parties don't always have to be fancy, Rarity. I asked a friend to help me set up something special. Follow me."

Rarity followed Pinkie Pie into the backyard. Rarity soon saw a lovely table and chairs. And, decorations in the forms of spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds. Plus banners in wild colors.

"Oh my." Rarity gasped. "This looks more like a bridge party rather than a tea party."

"These decorations are my friend's idea." Pinkie informed.

Soon, an energetic girl with blue hair in pigtails, and wearing a small top hat came out. She gave a cheerful greeting. "Hello there, Rarity. It's nice to meet you."

Rarity recognized the girl. "Oh my goodness! Madeline Hatter!"

Madeline approached Rarity and Pinkie as the elegant girl is very surprised. "Pinkie called you to help her?"

"She did." Madeline said. "Pinkie heard you were having a bit of trouble. I figured a day together would be lots of fun. This should cheer you up."

"Indeed. Tea parties are your specialty. After all, you are the daughter of the Mad Hatter."

Maddie smiled and pulled out some dishes and cups from her little hat as Pinkie places her tray and teapot on the table. Maddie checked the teapot. "Wow, Pinkie. The tea I prepared in this pot is still warm."

"You said it, Maddie." Pinkie cheered. "My poofy hair is like insulation."

"Good thought." Maddie added as she pulls out a plate of cookies, tarts and other pastries on the table. "Let's sit down and enjoy ourselves."

As Rarity and Pinkie sat in the chairs, they heard the sound of a cat purring. They saw what looks like a girl wearing cat ears sleeping in the tree.

"Kitty Cheshire?" Rarity yelped, recognizing her. "What brings her here?"

"No need to worry, Rarity. I asked her to come along." Maddie answered. "She and Pinkie get along well with each other."

"I was told about that by Bunny Blanc."

Kitty stretched as she woke up. "What's all of that racket? I'm trying to have a cat nap up here."

Openeing her eyes, she saw the girls gathered. And, calls out to one of them. "Hi, Pinkie Pie!"

Kitty vanished. Then, rematerialized in front of the party girl. Pinkie was happy. "Hi, Kitty!"

Kitty and Pinkie hugged each other as Rarity noticed something. "Of course, Kitty is the daughter of the Cheshire Cat. Thus, her teleportation abilities."

"Now, you're catching on." Maddie replied.

"I didn't expect you to show up." Pinkie Pie said.

"I am a citizen of Wonderland, Pinkie." Kitty replied. "We do stick together on occasions."

"Hey, Maddie Hatter!" Limestone called out from the backyard door.

Maddie noticed the eldest Pie Sister. "What is it, miss Limestone?"

"A friend of yours had arrived."

Soon, a elegant woman wearing royal garments, a crown, and has a heart on her eye comes into the backyard. She saw Rarity and is overjoyed. "Rarity. Good to see you, my friend."

Rarity was pleasantly surprised. "Lizzie. I'm am astounded to see you."

The royal girl went over to Rarity and embraced her in a gentle hug.

"Hey, Rarity." Pinkie said. "You know Lizzie Hearts?"

"Indeed, darling. Lizzie Hearts and I see each other once in a while. She surely wants to be a better queen of Wonderland than her mother, the Queen of Hearts."

"Wow. I can imagine Lizzie's mother in a straitjacket. That royal meanie is insane!"

"A straitjacket?!" Lizzie yelped. "I wouldn't go that far, Pinkie. But, you made a point. My mother is a bit crazy."

As the day goes on, the five girls enjoy each other's company. Drinking tea and enjoying the treats.

"This rosebud tea is divine, Maddie." Rarity praised.

"Thank you, Rarity." Maddie replied as she munches on a raspberry tart. "I'm glad my tea is appreciated."

"And, these treats are delicious." Pinkie said as she scarfed down some cookies. "Did Ginger Breadhouse make these?"

"Good guess, Pinkie. Yes!"

"I'm still shocked that Ginger Breadhouse is very misunderstood." Rarity said.

"Many make the mistake that she's a troublemaker. Just because she's the daughter of the Candy Witch."

Lizzie Hearts agreed. "Many of Ever After High's rebels are often misunderstood. All they want to do is follow their own path."

Soon, Pinkie's phone rang, and she excused herself. "Pardon me."

Pinkie answered her phone. A minute later, she whispered something to Kitty. Both girls then laughed which caught Rarity's attention. "Something amusing, darlings?"

"That was Sunset Shimmer on the phone." Pinkie explained. "I told Kitty that Hoops threw Sunset out of the movie theater, and decided to get a little payback for her."

"I replaced his usual pain relief roll-on," Kitty continued, "with a roll-on containing essence of a poison ivy plant. Something I whipped up during a magic potion class."

"Oh my!" Rarity yelped. "I hope that wasn't too terrible, even though he deserved it."

"Don't worry, Rarity. He'll be fine. That stuff will wear off in twenty minutes. But, it should be enough to teach him a lesson."

"If Hoops was a race horse," Maddie said, "he'd be SCRATCHED!"

Everybody enjoyed Maddie's joke as their good time continues. At another location, Hoops rubs some itch relief cream on his itchy spots once the itching died down. His two buddies, Dumbbell and Score, look on.

"Are you going to be okay?" Dumbbell asked.

"I'll be okay." Hoops replied. "Never underestimate those people from Bookend. Especially that school, Ever After High. They might surprise you."

In the basement of her house, Rainbow Dash plays her guitar, getting ready for future concerts. Joining her was Sparrow Hood, the rock star type rebel of Ever After High, playing his own guitar. Soon, the two musicians stopped for a break.

"Thanks for jamming with me, Sparrow Hood." Rainbow said happily.

"Not a problem, Rainbow." Sparrow replied. "Great way to blow off some steam. Studying for some of my classes was brutal."

"I'll bet you're glad my parents soundproofed this basement, knowing I practice down here a lot."

"That's a good idea. That way, nobody upstairs will be disturbed."

Just then, both their stomaches growled.

"I guess it's snack time." Dash figured. "Join me?"

Sparrow can't resist an invitation like that. "Lead the way."

In the kitchen, the two musicians enjoy some hero sandwiches Rainbow's father brought home from an office party.

"Pretty good sandwich, Dash." Sparrow praised, taking a sip of water.

"I'm glad you're being considerate, Sparrow." Rainbow Dash replied. "Probably better than how you acted towards Raven Queen."

Sparrow got a little surprised, knowing what Rainbow was talking about. "I guess Raven told you what happened during one of our school's talent shows."

"You bet. I heard Raven was practicing a guitar solo for that show. And, you kept interrupting her."

"You're right. Rainbow. Being a good guitar player, I thought practice was lame."

Rainbow took a sip of her water before continuing the conversation. "Well, during that talent show, she tapped into her dark power, and blew you out of the water."

"You got that right." Sparrow replied as he finished off his sandwich. "I'll never cross Raven that way again. She really rocked my world. But, good!"

After their snack, Rainbow and Sparrow cleaned off the table and put the dishes in the sink for Rainbow to do later. A thought came into Sparrow's head. "Me and some of my friends saw a few of your concerts, Rainbow. You and the other Rainbooms have a good combo of personalities."

Rainbow Dash was surprised to hear that. "Combo of personalites?"

"Think about it. You got athletic skills, Pinkie Pie is full of surprises, Fluttershy keeps calm and collected, Twilight Sparkle has the intellect, Applejack has a calm country style vibe, Rarity has the elegance, and Sunset Shimmer still has some of her bad girl attitude. Now there's a combination you guys should be proud of."

"I guess you're right, Sparrow." Rainbow Dash replied. "Not bad for the son of Robin Hood."

Soon, Sparrow heads out the door. "Time for me to hit the road. Hunter and Alistair are waiting for me near Sugarcube Corner to take me home. Later, Rainbow."

Rainbow waved her visitor goodbye. "Catch you later, Sparrow."

Just then, Sunset Shimmer showed up to say 'hello' to Rainbow.

"Hey, Rainbow." Sunset greeted. "Was that Sparrow Hood that left your house?"

"Sure was." Rainbow replied. "He and I were jamming together. He's not bad. As long as he shows consideration for others."

13. Meeting of Former Mean Ladies

View Online

In a classy bar in Canterlot City, many people are just relaxing, having drinks, and telling amazing stories. At one table, Vignette Valencia is enjoying the atmosphere. Sitting with her are the likes of Gloriosa Daisy, Juniper Montage, and Wallflower Blush. The four ladies caused a lot of trouble, especially for the Mane Seven. But, these days, these woman stay away from Twilight and her friends, fearing that they might be criticized for their misdeeds.

"It's great that we can all gather to enjoy each other's company." Vignette announced. "Now, we don't need to have liquor to relax, just so you know."

"But, why am I here?" Wallflower wondered. "I don't fit in with this elegant crowd."

"Don't feel bad, Wallflower." Gloriosa said. "I'm sure Miss Valencia has a good reason for us to be here."

Suddenly, Vignette saw somebody. "Hello, there. Come join us."

Everybody turned and saw what looks like a female court jester walking towards the group.

"Is there a medieval event happening in town?" Gloriosa wondered.

Wallflower looked at the girl, and realized who it is. "I don't believe it. It's Courtly Jester."

Juniper then spoke up. "Whoa! Lizzie Hearts told me about this wild card. She tried to usurp the Queen of Hearts and take over Wonderland."

"Sounds like somebody knows of my dark reputation." Courtly replied as she sat down between Vignette and Gloriosa. "That was then, this is now."

"It's true that Courtly Jester was a diabolical lady." Vignette informed. "But, after a stint at Wonderland Prison, she's given a chance for redemption."

"How?" Juniper asked.

"By being enrolled at Ever After High. That helped straighten her out."

"Miss Valencia is right, fellow former bad girls." Courtly added. "And, I'm sure all of you did things you're not too proud of."

Everybody was surprised to hear that. Courtly turned to the camp counselor. "Let's start with you, Gloriosa Daisy. I'm sure you still have nightmares about being possesed by the spirit of Gaia Everfree."

"You're right, Courtly." Gloriosa replied. "I tried my best to be a good counselor at Camp Everfree. And, put that moment behind."

"I'm sure Timber Spruce is happy about that."

Courtly then turned to the green haired girl. "Wallflower Blush. You had a guilty past as well. I heard that you used an artifact from Equestria, the Memory Stone, to erase the memories of Sunset from the other Rainbooms. And, vice versa."

"That's because I thought nobody would know my existence." Wallflower confessed. "I guess I'm very shy and hide from everybody."

"Now, you have friends in your Garden Club. Thus, you're never alone, nor forgotten."

Wallflower smiled as Courtly turned to the indie movie maven.

"Juniper Montage." Courtly called. "After your ordeal at a movie shoot, you planned revenge on the Rainbooms at a mall, Right?"

"I'm afraid so." Juniper said sadly. "But, those girls were saved, thanks to a visitor from Equestria."

"That would be Princess Twilight Sparkle's student, Starlight Glimmer."

"You're right, Courtly. I'm still determined to make my own movie. But, the right way."

Courtly then made a speech. "You three have done some terrible things. I did too. But, we've all been forgiven in time. Even Vignette Valencia here was sorry for her neferious deed, which I won't get into."

Vignette was relived to hear that. "Thanks, Courtly."

Juniper soon noticed something. "I was expecting Abacus Cinch to join us."

"I gave her the invitation." Vignette said. "I guess she's still ashamed for what she done."

Little does anybody know that Abacus Cinch is at a far off table, watching and listening to all of the action.

I wouldn't mind joining Juniper, Gloriosa, Wallflower, and Vignette. Miss Cinch thought. But, Courtly Jester frightens even me. Who knows what tricks that harlequin has up her sleeve?

Twilight Sparkle has a checklist in her hand as Sunset Simmer stands by to help out.

"DVD player?" Twilight said.

Sunset looks at a new DVD player Twilight recently purchased. "Check."

"Projector?"

Sunset sees a wall projector on a table. "Check."

"Speakers?"

A pair of speakers was next to the DVD player. Sunset smiled. "Check."

"Extension cord?"

Sunset picks up an extension cord. "Check."

"Surge protector?"

Sunset picks that up too. "Check."

"Finally, movie screen."

Seeing the folded up screen, Sunset gave a thumbs up. "Check."

Twilight happily puts down the checklist. "Okay, Sunset. We're ready for movie night." She gives Sunset a hug. "Thanks for coming over."

"My pleasure, Twi." Sunset said. "So, what movie are we watching tonight?"

"That I don't know. I got a mysterious text saying that someone will bring a movie over."

"You mean, we're having a guest coming over?"

"I guess so."

A knock came from Twilight's door. She answeres the door, and is greeted by a young man with dirty bond hair. "Evening, Twilight. Evening, Sunset."

Twilight's eyes widened as she knows who the young man is. "Alistair Wonderland! Wow!”

Alistair walks in with a little rabbit wearing a top hat hopping behind him.

"Alistair Wonderland?" Sunset gasped. "What are you doing here?"

"We were listening to you two talking about a movie night in Twilight's house." Alistair explained. "So, we decided to contribute by buying a movie for you to enjoy." Alistar brings out a DVD from his shopping bag. "Have a look."

Twilight and Sunset sees the movie Alistair brought over. Sunset was very surprised. "Wow! 'Midnight Madness'. One of the funniest movies of the 1980s."

"Midnight Madness?" Twilight gasped. "Isn't that the movie where five teams of college kids flood the streets of Los Angeles in a wild scavenger hunt?"

"That's right, Twilight." Alistair answered. "We figured you can use a little nostalgia."

"When you kept saying 'we', who else is with you?"

Twilight soon saw the bunny rabbit at Alistair's feet. She got confused. "Is this rabbit a friend of yours?"

"That's right, Twi." Alistair replied.

Suddenly, the rabbit transformed into a teenage girl with bunny ears and a top hat. Twilight was shocked as the girl spoke. "More than just a friend, Twilight Sparkle."

Sunset Shimmer saw the girl and recognized her. "Hey. Bunny Blanc!"

"Hi, Sunset." Bunny greeted as she and Sunset hugged each other.

"Bunny Blanc?" Twilight gasped. "Of course. You're the daughter of the White Rabbit. Just as Alistair is the son of Alice."

"That's right, Twilight. Me and Alistair are a match made in heaven."

A few minutes later, Twilight and Sunset brings out the equipment to the backyard as Alistair and Bunny look on.

"So, how is this going to be part of movie night, Sunset?" Alistair asked.

"Just watch how it all comes together." Sunset answered.

Twilight paces her DVD player on a table. Then, she places the projector on top of the DVD player. Sunset takes out yellow, white, and red wires, and uses them to connect the two devices.

"I see." Bunny realized. "The projector will work like a TV set when connecting the DVD player to it."

"That's right, Bunny." Sunset said. "This projector can also be connected to a TV set, a video game system, and other such devices."

"Wow! Technology has a lot of good uses."

Alistair watched as Twilight plugs a wire into the headphone jack. "I see that wire is connected to those speakers. This way, you'll get great stereo sound."

"You got it, Alistair." Twilight replied.

After the extension cord is connected to an outdoor outlet, and the surge protector is plugged in to the cord, all three devices are plugged into the surge projector.

"There. We're all set." Twilight praised. "One more thing. Sunset?"

"I'm on it, Twi." Sunset responded as she grabs the movie screen. She sets it up for later that night.

"Now, all we need is some food to munch on."

"I got that covered." Alistair said as he pulls out his phone.

Later that night, all four friends were in the backyard watching the movie and enjoying some pizza Alistair ordered.

"This is a great night, Sunset." Twilight praised. "A funny movie to watch, tasty pizza to munch on, and good friends to share this night with."

"You said it." Sunset replied. "I wouldn't mind some alone time with Alistair though."

Sunset inches her hand to Alistair's. But, Bunny stops her and presses her hand down gently.

"Sorry, Sunset." Bunny stated. "But, Alistair is already taken."

Sunset gave a devious smile knowing that Bunny Blanc is right.

I have my waterproof casing keeping my camera safe. Photo Finish thought. All I need to do is fill my tanks with air, then, I can dive into the lake.

Suddenly, Photo sees something on the lake. It appears to be a ballet dancer dressed in a feathery outfit. Photo soon knows who the ballet dancer is. That's Duchess Swan. What brings the daughter of Odette, the original Swan Princess, here?

As soon as Duchess leaps off the lake, and comes on land, she was approached by Photo Finish, who was applauding her performance.

"Ah, Photo Finish, the avid photographer." Duchess greeted. "By the looks of that wetsuit, I'd guess that you're going scuba diving into the lake."

"Good guess, Duchess." Photo replied. "I planned to take pictures of the world in the lake. I have my waterproof casing ready. Now, I'm ready for a day of underwater photography."

"You know, I planned to go scuba diving too. How about we go together?"

Photo got shocked. "You and me? Together?"

"Why not?" Duchess said. "A good example of the buddy system."

"I think you're right. Without my own partners, Violet Blur and Pixel Pizzazz, I do get lonely."

Duchess Swan is happy to hear that. "Great. I'll change into my own wetsuit, we'll both fill our tanks with air, and down we go."

Duchess and Photo shook hands, agreeing with other. Later the two girls are swimming underwater with Duchess wearing a black full length wetsuit. Their breathing apparatuses allows them to talk with each other as they explore the underwater world.

"This underwater scenery is beautiful." Duchess said happily.

"I agree." Photo replied. She quickly took pictures of the scenery. "I like the way the sun shines down here."

Duchess notices something about Photo. "I see you're not wearing your usual magenta lensed glasses."

"Well, Duchess," Photo explained, "they wouldn't fit in my diver mask."

Duchess then saw some lights in the water. After closer examination, she knows what they are. "Look over there, Photo. Flashlight fish!"

Photo notices them too. "Good eye, Duchess."

As Photo took pictures of the fish, Duchess starts twirling around the water, as if she's dancing. She swam near the fish as Photo sneaked a picture without the ballet girl noticing. The exploration continues as the grils look around their surrounding.

"I couldn't help noticing you dancing with those flashlight fish." Photo said. "You look so graceful."

"I am a dancer, you know." Duchess said. Soon, she saw something else. "Photo, check that out!"

The two girls soon saw a sunken ship. Duchess was very impressed. "Wow! This is quite a sight. Looks like this ship has been down here for hunderds of years."

"Seems that way." Photo replied as she clicked away with her camera. "I hear that this place has been a popular site for many divers."

Duchess was happy to hear that. I wonder if the nature lover, Fluttershy, comes here once in a while.

Later, the girls returned to the surface. Still wearing her wetsuit, Duchess looks at the pictures Photo took.

"That waterproof casing protected your camera well." Duchess praised. "Those pictures look great."

"Thank you, my friend." Photo said. "Especially, this one."

Duchess was shown a picture of herself dancing with the flashlight fish.

"Oh my gosh!" Duchess chirped. "That's a great shot! This is a great example of underwater ballet."

Photo smiled from hearing Duchess Swan's praise. "I'll make a copy of this and give it to you. I'm sure your friends at Ever After High will love to see this."

Duchess smiled knowing that Photo Finish is right. The two girls embraced each other in a sweet hug.

Apple Bloom, Sweeitie Belle, and Scootaloo were in Mr. Cranky Doodle's classroom. The three friends were getting very nervous. Rumble was looking in, with a very mean look.

"The curators of the museum you went to yesterday said you three were having a bit of trouble." Mr. Cranky Doodle said.

"They weren't having trouble." Rumble said as he approached the girls, and exploded on them . "They were CAUSING trouble!!"

"No we weren't." Sweetie Belle pleaded. "The truth is..."

"QUIET!!" Rumbe shouted. "Mr. Cranky Doodle only listens to me! I'd say, you three are to be PUNISHED!"

Apple Bloom was tearing up. "As you know, I'm all about honesty, sir. I can tell you what happened."

Rumble gave out another outburst. "WHO CARES?!!"

"That's enough!" Mr. Cranky Doodle demanded. "I know a better way to find out the truth." He turns to the door. "Come in, Cedar."

In steps a fun looking girl whose body looks like a puppet. Sweetie Belle recognizes the girl. "Cedar Wood. What's she doing here?"

"I asked Cedar Wood to tag along with the class yesterday." Mr. Cranky Doodle explained. "Sort of a secret chaperone."

"Really?" Scootaloo gasped as she wipes tears from her eyes. "I didn't see her when we went to the museum."

"That's because I kept out of sight." Cedar said. "Anything going on yesterday, I would know it, and report back."

"That won't work." Rumble scoffed. "We'll know as soon as she starts talking."

Mr. Cranky Doodle gave Rumble some info. "Don't bet on it, Rumble. Unlike her father, Pinocchio, Cedar can only tell the truth. It's a curse. But, sometimes it can be a gift." He then turns to the representative of Ever After High. "Now then, Cedar. What happened?"

Cedar began her explanation. "The first problem is when the class looked at the skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The tour guide heard a little kid blab to his mother. When the tour guide asked the kid to be quiet, Rumble angrily told these girls to listen to the tour guide, as if the guide was talking to them."

"I always liked dinosaurs." Scootaloo said. "I wouldn't disturb anyone talking about them."

"Easy, Scootaloo." Mr. Cranky Doodle added. "No need to get defensive." He turned back to Cedar. "Go ahead."

Cedar continued. "Problem two was during one of those projection shows. Everybody was sitting down quietly. But, Rumble over there forced Apple Bloom and company to go outside. He even told a security guard to watch over them, making him think that they can't be trusted."

Apple Bloom cringed with fear. "Rumble wouldn't let us see the show."

Rumble was starting to get nervous as Mr. Cranky Doodle is getting interested. "Anything else?"

"Yes, Mr. Cranky Doodle." Cedar replied. "When the class were sitting down in the cafeteria to have lunch, that bruiser took the three girls' lunches away, and brutally threw out the food. He screamed that they don't deserve it."

"The three of us were hungry all day." Sweetie added. "Rumble was just a hot headed bully."

"SHUT UP!" Rumble yelled angrily. "Who wants to hear from you three LOSERS?!"

Cedar pulls out a video camera. "I took some shots of those moments, in case Rumble wanted you to think my words aren't enough."

Mr. Cranky Doodle watched the footage of the museum tour, as well as Rumble's attack on Scootaloo and company. He then turned to the trio. "You three girls are off the hook. I'm sorry for putting you girls through this." He then turns to Rumble. "As for you, young man, we need to talk."

The school day was over. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo happily walked home with Cedar Wood walking with them.

"Thanks for your help, Cedar." Sweetie praised.

"You're welcome, girls." Cedar replied. "I'm just glad that Mr. Cranky Doodle recruited me to be with the class at the museum."

"So, what happens to Rumble?" Scootaloo wondered.

"He's going to have time to clean up his act."

Inside the school, Rumble started washing down the lockers. He wasn't that upset. "This isn't so bad. Might give me something to think about in the future."

Soon, Snips and Snails walks by and sees Rumble cleaning the lockers.

"This is one proper punishment for you, Rumble." Snips chuckled. "Janitorial duty after school for two weeks."

Snails agreed. "That'll teach you that the truth never escapes Cedar Wood."

The boys leave, having Rumble thinking one thing harshly. I guess the truth doesn't set ME free.

Big Macintosh sits on the couch deep in thought. His family came over to see if he's all right.

"Howdy, Big Mac." Applejack greeted. "Are you okay?"

"Eeyup." Big Mac answered.

Granny Smith figures what he's thinking about. "I'll bet you're thinking about that girl you met at the bakery. Right?"

Big Mac's eyes windened, and responds to Granny Smith. "Eeyup. Her name is Sugar Belle. One of the prettiest girls I've ever seen."

"How long have you been meeting this girl?" Apple Bloom wondered.

"About two weeks. Every time I pass by the bakery, I come in to talk to her. When she's on break, of course."

A knock came at the door. As Granny Smith answers the door, Applejack keeps talking to Big Mac. "This girl sounds very nice. Don't she?"

"Eeyup." Big Mac answered. "One day, her family were visiting the bakery, and met me as well. They think that I'm a very honorable young man."

"Well, honesty is part of our family, you know."

"Applejack!" Granny Smith called. "Somebody is here to see you."

Applejack steps out, and sees a young lady with bright pink hair. She also has what looks like wings on her back. Applejack was happy to see her. "Well, what do you know? C. A. Cupid!"

"Howdy, partner." Cupid greeted as she hugs Applejack. "Sorry for the corny western greeting."

"Don't worry. I heard 'em all."

"C. A. Cupid, huh?" Granny Smith added. "Aren't y'all the little lady who transferred from Monster High to Ever After High?"

"That's right." Cupid answered. "I heard that some of the students at EAH can use their own romances. That's why I transferd there."

"What's bring you here anyway, Cupid?" Applejack asked.

"I heard that somebody in this family is in love."

"Eeyup." Big Mac replied as he joins the conversation. “That would be me."

Cupid's eyes widened with shock. "You, Big Macintosh? Wow! It must be big for someone like you to fall in love."

Big Mac explained to Cupid about his crush on Sugar Belle.

"Sugar Belle must be very specal." Cupid figured. "Isn't she?"

"Eeyup." BIg Mac replied. "This question is, how will she know me a little better?"

Cupid soon had an idea. "Why not bring her over here for a dinner date?"

"Dinner with the family?" Big Mac blurted. "Y'all think it'll work?"

"It should. If you bring Sugar Belle here to have dinner with you and your family, I'm sure she'll know about you. After all, honesty is what this family is all about."

Big Mac thought about it for a minute. Then, he gave Cupid his response. "I'll do it. And, when she comes over, we'll let you join us as well."

"Oh?" Cupid blurted.

"I'm sure she'll like to meet the person who advised me. I do have to be honest like my sister, Appplejack, you know."

Cupid smiled, believing that Big Mac is right. One week later, the Apple Family sat down to a nice dinner. Sugar Belle sat next to big Mac. And, Cupid sat next to Apple Bloom.

"This meal is delicious." Sugar Belle praised as she bit into a piece of steak. "You're grandmother is a great cook."

"Thank you." Big Mac responded. "My sisters helped out as well."

"A great example of family unity. Good work everybody."

Applejack and Apple Bloom smiled, knowing that Sugar Belle likes their family togetherness.

"It was nothing, really." Applejack said.

"My big sister is right." Apple Bloom added. "We're just happy to help each other. After all, we are a family."

"Good to know." Sugar Belle said as she turns to their other visitior. "I understand that you gave Big Mac the advice to have me come here, Cupid."

"I figured that the best way to know Big Mac," Cupid explained, "is to learn about his family."

"And, it's a good idea." Sugar Belle replied as she takes a sip of water. "Nice work, angel of love."

Cupid blushed after being praised like that. Apple Bloom had a comical thought. "I'm surprised that Cupid didn't just aim one her love arrows at you, Sugar Belle."

Sugar Belle gave out a little giggle. "It wouldn't work. Besides, even I know that C. A. Cupid's aim is not that good."

Cupid put her hand on her face at it continued to turn red. "Guilty as charged."

Everybody had a good laugh as the evening meal continues.

18. Blondie on the Scene

View Online

It was a beautiful star filled night at Canterlot City Park. Many young people gather after a fantastic performance by the Rainbooms earlier that day. Amongst them is Ever After High's Gossip Maven, Blondie Lockes, who gives out her opinion about the concert. Juniper Montage is videotaping her short discussion.

"The Rainbooms were truly hextacular with their performance." Blondie reported. "Perhaps some day, they can perform at our school. This is Blondie Lockes saying 'Farewell, everyone'."

After Blondie nodded, Juniper turned off the camera.

"Thanks for helping me finish off my project, Juniper." Blondie said.

"My pleasure, Blondie." Juniper replied. "This must feel different than what you're used to doing at Ever After High."

"Maybe. But, this is a great way to branch out beyond my school."

The two girls sit on a bench enjoying each other's company.

"I wonder," Juniper said with interest, "why did you decide to videotape this concert?"

"Headmaster Grimm's idea." Blondie answered. "He heard about the Rainbooms, and wanted to know what they're about. So, after I charged the batteries on my camera, I came here to this park, and watched the festivities."

"And, you wanted help to finish off your report. You needed somebody to handle your camera while you're on the microphone."

"You guessed it. Knowing what kind of girl you are, I figured that you're the perfect partner I need."

The two girls watched the footage on Blondie's camera. Both were very happy.

"Great footage, Blondie." Juniper prasied. "Your friends at Ever After High will be proud of you."

Suddenly, the voice of Sunset Shimmer joins the conversation. "As long as she doesn't pick up her mother's bad habits."

They turned and saw Sunset Shimmer and Rainbow Dash standing with them. Blondie got shocked. "Sunset Shimmer! Rainbow Dash! This is a surprise."

"I thought that was you in the audience, Blondie." Rainbow stated. "I know that blond hair and blue outift anywhere. You look just like your mother when she was young."

Blondie blushed as Juniper got confused. "Her mother?"

"That's right." Sunset replied. "Her mother is Goldilocks from the story, Goldilocks and the Three Bears."

Juniper got surprised to hear that. Blondie calmed her down. "They're right, Juniper. I am the daughter of Goldilocks."

"But, what bad habits were Sunset and Rainbow talking about?" Juniper asked.

"Just like my mom when she went into the Three Bears' house, I have a knack for poking around other people's stuff."

"No doubt, looking for stuff to report on her Mirrorcast." Rainbow added. "This girl is a true gossiper."

Blondie was tearing up when Juniper tried to comfort her. "No need to be upset, Blondie. At least you limit that habit to your friends at your school. Though it is a little annoying."

"Maybe." Blondie said as she wiped the tears from her eyes. "At least I can prove that I can be serious about events like this."

Sunset approached Blondie, realizing that maybe she and Rainbow were a little mean. "Sorry we made you upset, Blondie. I guess we went over the line."

"Apology accepted." Blondie said happily as she and Sunset hugged each other. "So, I still have room on my memory card. How about an interview?"

"Maybe some other time." Rainbow answered. "We need to be with our bandmates. Later, Blondie."

Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer left the scene, leaving Blondie with a thought. "I guess they and the other Rainbooms had enough drama in their lives."

Juniper gave Blondie Lockes a devious smile. "You have no idea."

Scootaloo raced her go cart down a hill with Rainbow Dash and Applejack watching to make sure nothing goes wrong. Suddenly, the go cart struck a rock, and swerved out of control. It went off the road, and fell into a hole. Rainbow Dash and Applejack got nervous and hurried over. When they went to the hole, Applejack called 911 while Rainbow Dash called out to Scootaloo. "Scootaloo! Are you okay?"

Seconds later, she heard a voice calling back. "I'm okay!"

Dash was happily surprised. "That's a relief. What happened?"

Scootaloo explained the situation. "Luckily, my go cart was snagged by a big branch. Seeing that I wasn't far from the ground, I jumped off and landed on a pile of mud. Thank goodness I wore my crash helmet."

"Applejack called 911, Scoots. Just hold on."

"Okay, Rainbow. But, it's getting chilly down here."

Suddenly, a blond haired girl wearing what looks like shoulder plating came on the scene with rope on hand. "Don't worry, Rainbow Dash. I'll get her out of that hole."

Tying a rope to a tree, and the other to her waist, the maiden slowly went down the hole as Applejack rejoined Rainbow. "A rescue unit is on the way. I'm still on the phone with them."

"It looks like somebody is going to save the crew a little time." Rainbow informed.

Back in the hole, the maiden reached Scootaloo, who was shivering.

"W-W-Who are you?" Scootaloo asked while shaking from the cold.

"Someone who's here to help you." The maiden answered. "Hop on my back." Scootaloo jumped on the maiden's back and wrapped her arms around her. "Now, hold on tight."

The maiden started to climb up with Scootaloo holding on. Suddenly, the rope is being pulled up. Applejack and Rainbow Dash were pulling from the other end. Soon, Scootaloo and the maiden reached the surface. Scootaloo rushed over to Rainbow as Applejack pulled the maiden up.

"Thanks for the helping hand, friend." Applejack said.

Hearing the conversation, Rainbow was surprised as the maiden approached with rope in hand.

"Now, I know who you are." Rainbow realized. "You're Darling Charming. The damsel who doesn't want to be in distress."

"You guess correctly." Darling answered. "How's Scootaloo?"

"I'm f-f-fine." Scootaloo replied as she took off her helmet. "But, I'm very sh-sh-shaky."

"I thought as much."

Darling took her rope and soon wrapped it around Scootaloo. Rainbow got concerned. "Why are you tying up Scootaloo like that?"

Darling finished tying Scootaloo's legs and ankles together as she responds to Rainbow's concern. "I don't want her to hurt herself until the rescue unit arrives."

Scootaloo was surprised to hear that. "Somehow, that makes sense."

Minutes later, an ambulance arrived. After the ropes were undone, Scootaloo was being examined by a doctor. Rainbow, Applejack, and Darling were watching with concern as Darling's brother, Dexter Charming, shows up.

"Hey, Dexter." Rainbow greeted. "What brings you here?"

"I heard what happened." Dexter explained. "I hope your little friend is okay."

"I think she'll be fine. Thank goodness your sister showed up when she did."

Dexter put his arm around Darling's shoulder. "These days, many of us at Ever After High are."

The doctor came to the group to give them news. "Scootaloo will be fine. Just a few bruises."

"Is she able to go home right away?" Dash asked.

"Yes." The doctor answered. "Just make sure she rests for a few days."

Scootaloo walks over to the group, and turns to Darling Charming. "Someone like me doesn't usually say this. But,...." Scootaloo gives Darling a hug. "my hero."

Darling returns the hug as the group watches.

"That she is, Scootaloo." Dexter replied. "That she is."

20. Sweetie Belle's Fairy Good Night

View Online

In her room, Sweetie Belle, dressed in her pajamas, was moping around. She is truly upset about something.

"Sweetie Belle," Rarity called out, "can you come downstairs for a moment?"

Rarity watched in fear as Sweetie Belle came down with tears in her eyes, and looks like she's ready to explode.

"This is so not fair!" Sweetie Belle yelled. "I was all set for a sleepover at the museum. I can't believe it got cancelled!" She grabbed her hair roughly. "Everything went against me!!"

"Calm yourself, sis." Rarity calmly said. "I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for..."

Sweetie Belle didn't listen. She bashed her head hard on the wall. Panicking, Rarity grabbed some rope from a closet and hurried to her sister.

"No, Sweetie Belle. Please, STOP!" Rarity pleaded as she used the rope to wrap around her. "I don't want you to hurt yourself." Rarity took a small piece of rope and tied her hands behind her back. "I love you too much to see you end up in a hospital."

Sweeite Belle was still upset when she watched her ankles being tied together. "I'm sorry, Rarity. Sometimes I feel like I'm being pushed aside a lot." Tears are still dripping down her face. "What'll I do now?"

"Don't worry. I asked a friend to help calm you down." Rarity calls out to the hallway. "Come in, Farrah."

In steps a beautiful white haired girl wearing a blue dress and has wings on her back. Sweetie Belle was surprised. "You're friends with Farrah Goodfairy?"

"Indeed, darling, Hearing what happened, I asked Farrah to pay us a visit."

"When Rarity told me that you took that bad news the hardest," Farrah continued, "I felt your pain. So, I'm here to help you calm down."

Farrah scooped up Sweetie Belle in her arms, and took her into the workshop. Inside, the two girls try to get along.

"Why are we here?" Sweetie Belle asked, still feeling upset. "There's nothing here but fabric, needles, threads, and other stuff my sister uses."

"I feel very comfortable here." Farrah answered as she wipes tears from Sweetie's eyes. "I dream of becoming a spelltacular fashion designer after my story is done."

Calming down a little, Sweetie realized something. "That's right. You're the daughter of Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. I can imagine you and Ashlynn Ella getting along."

"That's true, Sweetie Belle. Many of Ever After High can picture me and Ashlynn years from now, picking up where our mothers left off."

Farrah noticed a mark on Sweetie Belle's head and got concerned. "Oh my gosh. That's one nasty spot." She grabbed a tissue and wiped the blood spot off. "Did that happen when you bashed you head against the wall?"

Sweetie saw the blood smear, and was shocked. "Wow! I didn't know I was that mad. I must've took the news harder than I thought. Sorry, Farrah."

Sweetie sobbed a little. But, Farrah gave her a comforting hug. "Shhh. Please, don't cry. Rarity and I are here to help you get over this."

Later, Rarity, Sweetie Belle, and Farrah are at the kitchen table. Sweetie's ankles are untied. And, so were hands. But, the hands were retied in front of her as the rope wrapped around her body was also removed.

"Perhaps some chamomile tea can comfort you, Sweetie Belle." Rarity said as she poured some tea in a cup. After adding the appropriate amount of sugar, and stirring the tea, she hands the cup to her sister. "Here you are."

Still a little shaky, Sweetie Belle took the cup and, with her hands still tied, slowly brought it to her lips, and gave it a slow steady sip. She lowers the cup down and is amazed. "Wow! I didn't drop it. I thought with my hands tied together, I would drop it for sure."

"That’s because Farrah helped comfort you enough so you would still be steady." Rarity explained. "I knew asking her to come over is a good idea."

After she placed her cup down, Sweetie Belle thought of something. "Farrah, where's your magic wand?"

"I left it in my bag." Farrah explained. "I use my magic mostly for school."

"That makes sense. But, when will my hands be free?"

"Probably when you're ready for bedtime."

The three girls continued to relax. Later, Sweetie Belle had her hands free, and got comfortable in her bed. Farrah decided to be with her.

"Thanks for helping me, Farrah." Sweetie Belle said, finally relaxed.

"You're welcome, Sweetie Belle." Farrah replied as she gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Good night."

Sweetie slowly fell asleep as Farrah Goodfairy went back downstairs to be with Rarity.

"Thanks for your help, Farrah." Rarity said with relief.

"Not a problem, Rarity, darling." Farrah replied.

The ladies continued their tea time together, knowing that Sweetie Belle will be all right.

Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy attend an animal sanctuary for a school report. Fluttershy feels at home looking at all of these animals roaming around, while they recover from injuries they sustained.

"This is going to be one great tour, Twilight." Fluttershy cooed.

"I know." Twilight said. "Looking at all of these animals makes you want to be there with them. Don't it?"

"You're right, Twilight. Once we get on the sight seeing jeep, we'll be amazed at these wonderful beasts."

As Twilight and Fluttershy board the jeep, the nature lover spotted a young man with short brown hair and wearing a green outfit coming aboard. She was very excited. "Hunter! Over here!"

The young man spotted her. "Hello, Fluttershy."

As Fluttershy and the young man hugged each other, Twilight was taken by surprise.

"You know Hunter Huntsman?" Twilight asked.

"Of course." Fluttershy answered. "Hunter and I love animals, and don't want anything bad to happen to them."

"But, isn't Hunter part of a new generation of fairy tale hunter type characters?"

"I am, Twilight." Hunter replied. "However, I don't believe in hunting or killing living creatures. It's just not in my nature."

Twilight feels good about that. Soon, the jeep went on it's way. The tourists got a view of many creatures. Twilight and friends saw some elephants walking around, and drinking from a watering hole.

"Elephants." Hunter explained. "Magnificent creatures. One of the largest animals on land."

"I understand they eat 450 pounds of food per day." Twilight added.

The group saw some gazelles sprinting across the land.

"I wish I can run with a gazelle." Fluttershy said. "Can you imagine Rainbow Dash in a race with one of these beasts."

"I don't know." Twilight responded. "Maybe against a cheetah rather than a gazelle."

Soon, they were greeted by a giraffe. The animal leaned in, and gave Fluttershy a lick. She was shocked. "Oh my. I got kissed by a giraffe!"

"That's something you don’t get to experience that often." Hunter said humorously.

The friends had a good laugh. As the tour continues, everyone was enjoying themselves. Suddenly, the jeep stopped.

"Why'd we stop?" Twilight wondered.

"Don't worry, folks." The guide informed. "We're just letting an ostrich pass by."

Everybody watched an ostrich walks across the path.

"The ostrich." Fluttershy cooed. "Possibly the biggest bird of all. They are so beautiful."

Just then, the ostrich pooped on the path. Hunter made a funny comment. "Except when they do that."

Later, when the tour was over, Twilight and friends discuss their experiences.

"I'm glad we went on this expedition." Twilight said. "Seeing all of those animals is very enlightening."

"You're right, Twilight." Fluttershy added. "Here, and in other such places, animals are kept safe and secure."

"I took some good pictures to show everyone back at Ever After High." Hunter proudly said. He presented his camera to Fluttershy. "Including this one."

The nature lover saw a picture of herself being kissed by the giraffe. "Oh my. I can't believe you took this picture." Fluttershy let out a small giggle. "I’ll bet your friends will have a good laugh."

The tour guide approached the three friends. "Excuse me, Hunter Huntsman. I understand that you can make something out of raw materials."

"That's right." Hunter replied. "What's up?"

“One of our feeding troths for the pigs is broken. I wonder if you can make another one for us."

Hunter soon saw an old dresser with the drawers taken out. Grabbing his axe, he got set for his duty. "Stand back!"

Hunter chopped away the small pieces of wood from the drawer sections, trimmed it down to where the pigs can feast, and it was done. Twilight and Fluttershy were astonished as Hunter stood proudly.

"Thanks for your help, Hunter." The tour guide praised.

Hunter looked at his work, and is proud of himself. "Eat your heart out, MacGyver."

Inside the big barn at Sweet Apple Acres, Apple Bloom and her friend, Tender Taps, were dancing to jazz music under the watchful eye of Ever After High student, Justine Dancer. When the song was over, the kids stopped.

"Thanks for helping us with our dance routine, Justine." Apple Bloom said.

"My pleasure." Justine praised. "You two will be a big hit at the big celebration this place is hosting."

"That's right. There will be other entertainers as well. But, we want to get in on some of this action."

"That's right, Apple Bloom." Tender Taps added. "With some of my own dance moves added, we'll get a big round of applause."

Just then, Applejack, Big Mac, and Granny Smith came in to the barn.

"Hey, sis." Applejack called out. "We heard some 1930s type jazz music coming from here."

"That's right." Apple Bloom replied. "Me and Tender Taps are practicing our dance for the Sweet Apple Acres harvest celebration. And, we both had a great teacher too."

Applejack suddenly saw Justine, and is amazed. "Justine Dancer. Well, howdy there."

"Hi, Applejack." The two girls embraced in a hug. "Checking out your sister, no doubt."

"Just curious. I heard she and Tender Taps were doing something for our celebration. But, I never thought it would be a jazz routine."

"They've been working real hard. And now, they're ready. Just like I'm ready for my destiny."

Apple Bloom just remembered something about Justine. "Oh, wow! I forgot. Your mother was the youngest of The Twelve Dancing Princesses. Wasn't she?"

"That's right, Apple Bloom. Now, I'm ready to join my eleven sisters to achieve our goals."

"I guess the number 12 runs in your family." Granny Smith figured.

"You got it, Granny Smith." Justine replied happily.

Soon, Humphrey Dumpty came into the barn, carrying bags and two top hats as he talked to Justine. "Here are the costumes Rarity made."

"Thanks, Humphrey." Justine said as she takes the stuff off his hands.

"Howdy, Humphrey Dumpty." Granny Smith greeted. "This is a pleasant surprise."

"Hi, Granny Smith." Humphrey said. "Hi, Big Mac."

Applejack was very curious. "Y'all know the son of Humpty Dumpty, Granny?"

"Sure do." Granny answered. "He comes by once in a while to help us with the chores."

"Eeyup." BIg Mac added. "We made sure they're on ground level. Humphrey is a little scared of heights."

"I get it." Applejack said as she turned to the visitor. "You're afraid that, and I apologize if I step on your toes a little, all the king's horses and all the king's men won't be able to put YOU back together again."

"That's one way of putting it." Humphrey replied. "And, no need to apologize. I hear my father's old nursery rhyme many times."

Apple Bloom got her sister's attention. "How do we look?"

Apple Bloom and Tender Taps changed into dapper tuxedos with top hats. Applejack was shocked. "Hoo-wee! Where did those clothes come from?"

"My idea." Justine answered. "Hearing about Apple Bloom and Tender Taps doing a jazz number, I asked your fashionista friend, Rarity, to sew up some appropriate costumes."

"I waited until Rarity was done," Humphrey continued, "then I took the stuff and came back here."

Granny Smith was very pleased. "You two look really dapper."

"Thanks, Granny Smith." Tender Taps responded. "We'll be a big hit tonight."

Later that night, the celebration was on the way. Guests arrived to enjoy this even. People munching on food, talking to each other, and enjoy some great entertainment. Everyone watched Apple Bloom and Tender Taps perform their jazz routine. When the act was over, the two kids receive a round of applause as Grand Pear went up with a microphone in his hand. "Let's hear it for Apple Bloom and Tender Taps. Swinging dance moves, cats!"

Tipping their top hats, the kids stepped off the stage. They went over to Applejack and Justine.

"You two were amazing!" Applejack praised.

"Thanks, sis." Apple Bloom said while tearing up. "I'm happy y'all are very proud of us."

Applejack gave her sister a warm hug as Justine turned to Tender Taps. "You and Apple Bloom did good, Tender Taps."

Humphrey Dumpty joined in on the conversation. "I agree. Maybe you two can conquer Broadway with that routine."

"You think so?" Tender Taps wondered. "That may not be a bad idea."

Octavia Melody and Vinyl Scratch, Alias: DJ Pon-3, attended a music festival on the streets of Canterlot City. All kinds of musicians attend this festivities. The two girls feel at home.

"Oh, man." Vinyl cooed. "This totally rocks. All kinds of music can be heard."

"Indeed." Octavia said. "I would like it, though, if there was an orchestra playing here."

One of the patrons approached the elegant Octavia. "Not to worry, doll. There's going to be a full symphony orchestra at the park later tonight. That might get you interested."

"Thank you, sir." Octavia cooed. "I appreciate that."

Vinyl soon saw a white haired girl wearing a yellow shirt and a purple skirt. She has black streaks in her hair, and is grooving to the music. Seeing her, Vinyl calls out. "Hey, Melody." The young girl turns and sees Vinyl. "I thought that was you."

"Hey, Vinyl. What's up?" The girl replied.

The two girls hugged each other happily. Octavia came over, and soon knows who the girl is. "Melody Piper. Hello, there."

"Hey, Octavia." Melody greeted as she and Octavia hugged each other. "What brings you to this groove fest?"

"My roommate's idea. She figures that I need some excitement in my life."

"Octavia has been getting bored lately." Vinyl added. "I figured a day here might cheer her up."

"At least there will be an orchestra at the park later tonight."

"Of course." Melody figured. "Being a cello player, orchestras do amaze you."

Octavia nodded. "That's one way of putting it."

The three girls continue their tour through the festival. They came across some country style guitar players. The music relaxed everyone.

"I can imagine somebody play the tune of the Dueling Banjos here." Octavia said.

"One very comical piece. I'll say that." Vinyl added.

They soon watched a young lady wearing a long red gown playing a flute. Melody seems to like that music. "My father would love to hear this tune."

"Why not?" Octavia said. "You're father IS the Pied Piper of Hamlin. I believe he's Ever After High's music teacher."

"I like music as much as he does. Someday, I'd like to perform for many people."

"If you don't hypnotize them like how he hypnotized those rats," Vinyl commented, "when he was saving his home town."

Melody blushed, hearing that comment. "Touché.”

Soon, they came up to a stage with two DJ booths set up as an announcer comes up with microphone in hand. "Hey, guys and dolls. Are you ready for some groovy tunes mixed by our happening DJs?"

Everyone cheered. Even Octavia clapped a little.

"Well, it won't be for another two hours."

The crowd got a little upset. Vinyl included. "Too bad. I was all set to groove to the music."

"That goes double for me, Vinyl." Melody replied.

The announcer made a surprising announcement. "Hey, hey. I see we got the groovy DJ Pon-3 and Ever After High music maven, Melody Piper in the house. How would you girls like to get this party going?"

The two music girls looked at each other. Then, they gave a response. "OH, YEAH!!"

"Then, come on up! And, get these records spinning."

They enter the booths, turned on the equipment, and the music was pumping through the speakers. Everyone was dancing and moving to the music. Octavia was dancing as well.

DJ Pon-3 and Melody Piper. Octavia thought. Now, that's a musical tag team.

24. Calm by the Lake

It was early Saturday morning by a quiet lake. Rainbow Dash, dressed in a purple tank top and turquoise 3/4 tights, was sitting cross legged on a mat with her eyes closed. She just did some yoga exercises. Now, she is meditating. A buzzer went off as Rainbow opened her eyes slowly, and looked at an electronic timer she brought with her.

Eight minutes. Not bad. Rainbow dash tought. Next time, I'll go for nine.

Suddenly, she heard a woman singing a beautiful song. She looked around, but couldn't find who's singing. Just then, something jumped out of the water, and went back in. Dash thought that it looked like a mermaid with pink hair. "I must be more stressed out than I thought. I'm seeing things."

The figure rose out of the water, and spoke to the athletic girl. "You're not seeing things, Rainbow Dash."

"Whoa!" Rainbow yelped as she suddenly recognized her. "Meeshell Mermaid. I thought that shape looked familiar."

Meeshell swam to the brim of the lake, and climbed out. Soon, her tail transformed into legs as she approached Rainbow Dash and gave her a hug. "This is a pleasant surprise, Dashie. What brings you to this lake?"

"I woke up early this morning, changed into my exercise clothes, grabbed my mat, and came here." Dash answered. "I figured the peace and quiet here is good for yoga."

"You do yoga?" Meeshell yelped. "I thought that you're a soccer girl."

"I am. But, every morning I do some yoga stretches to prepare for soccer. Even Spitifre was surprised about that."

"I'm guessing that's how you keep your legs in shape."

"That's right."

Rainbow and Meeshell look at the lake, and feel the calmness of the area.

"I can understand why you chose to do yoga here at this lake." Meeshell figured. "It's so peaceful."

"That's right." Dash replied. "Did you come here for a little privacy?"

"A little bit. I do get shy on land. Afraid that somehow my legs get wet accidently."

"I get it. If your legs get wet, they transform into your mermaid tail."

"You guessed correctly. Ashlynn and Maddie discovered that when I was swimming in the pool."

Rainbow Dash displayed a playful smirk. "I guess that since you're the daughter of The Little Mermaid, your singing is beautiful when you're in the water."

Meeshell blushed. "That's right, Rainbow."

Later that day, wearing her own exercise clothes, Meeshell followed Rainbow Dash as they both do some yoga stretches in the basement of Rainbow's house.

"That felt very relaxing." Meeshell said as she and Rainbow sat cross legged. "Now I know why you like this kind of exercise."

"Right you are." Rainbow replied. "Even Sunset Shimmer was surprised during the music festival."

"One thing for sure. You are full of surprises."

Soon, Rainbow Dash and Meeshell closed their eyes and meditated together.

On the streets of Canterlot City, Trixie Lulamoon, also known as The Great and Powerful Trixie, finished putting on a magic show for many of her fellow students of Canterlot High School.

"Thank you, everybody." Trixie announced. "I, the Great and Powerful Trixie, appreciate your wonderful applause. I'm sure your feeble minds have been dazzled by my amazing abilities."

As everybody applauded, Trixie suddenly got surprised. "Ah. I see we have an honored guest amongst us. A unique individual who knows a little about magic as well as me." Trixie soon called out to somebody from the audience. "Show me your kind of magic," She points a finger to that person she saw. "Faybelle Thorn."

The people gasped as a girl with white hair and wearing a dark blue outfit looks up to the stage. The girl was the person Trixie spotted.

"You know about me?" Faybelle asked.

"Who doesn't know about the daughter of the Dark Fairy from the Sleeping Beauty story. Come on up."

As Faybelle walks to the stage, some of the audience members were watching with concern.

"I heard about Faybelle Thorn." Sandalwood said. "This girl craves attention."

"Yeah!" Bulk Biceps shouted. "If you don't invite her to your parties or let her tag along with you, she'll use her magic to cause plenty of trouble."

On stage, Faybelle Thorn was very concerned about Trixie wanting her to join her.

"I understand that you're are the head cheerleader of Ever After High." Trixie explained. "And, that's how you work some of your magic."

"You heard right." Faybelle replied.

"Then, how about giving us a little demonstration."

Taking out a pair of pom poms, Faybelle Thorn gives an unusual cheer. "Wind! Wind! Come today! Show all how windy it is today!"

As she raises her arms, a sudden blast of wind blows through the he streets. Everybody gets a big surprise as the wind blows around. Faybelle lowers her arms, and the wind stops. The crowd was astounded and applauded.

"Well done, Faybelle." Trixie praised. "Well done indeed."

Faybelle bowed to the crowd. As the crowd leaves the area, both magicians are pleased with their performances. Faybelle soon spotted Derpy Hooves saying goodbye to Bulk Biceps. That gives her an idea.

"How would you like to see me have some fun with that girl?" Faybelle asked.

"Derpy Hooves?" Trixie noticed. "She is a little gullible. What do you have in mind?"

Taking out her pom poms, she begins another cheer. "Puddle of water in the air. Splash on Derpy everywhere!"

Faybelle raised her arms, and a big puddle of water appeared above Derpy. She lowered her arms, and the water saturated the startled Derpy Hooves. Her hair and her clothes were soaking wet. She spotted the magc mischief maker and got mad. "Very funny, Faybelle Thorn!"

Faybelle and Trixie laughed, pleased with the results as Derpy walked home as her shoes squished all the way.

That girl is the daughter of the Dark Fairy, all right. Derpy thought. How can anybody at Ever After High stand that witch?!

Twilight Sparkle just left the book store with her shopping bag when she saw young Rumble talking to a charming girl with brown hair and wearing glasses. This girl had some red streaks in her hair.

"Thanks for helping me, miss." Rumble said.

"You're welcome, Rumble." The girl replied. "See you another day."

Rumble went home happy about his conversation. Twilight soon knew who the girl was, and called out to her. "Rosabella Beauty!"

Rosabella turned, and saw Twilight. "Twilight Sparkle. Hello."

Twilight approached Rosabella, and they hugged each other.

"What are you doing in these parts?" Twilight asked.

"I thought I spend some time away from Bookend." Rosabella answered. "Sit with me?"

"Sure."

Twilight soon sat on the bench next to Rosabella and the two bookworms enjoy each other's company.

"What were you talking to Rumble about?" Twilight wondered.

Rosabella told Twilight a fascinating story. "Rumble told me about what he did at the museum."

"I heard of that. He gave trouble to Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo. He also got punished for it."

"Yes. He told me that the janitorial duty he received somehow calmed him down. I advised him to think about what he does before he winds up doing the wrong thing."

"I guess that's why you're the daughter of Beauty and the Beast." Twilight figured. "You would like to see the good in any living creatures. Humans included."

"That's right." Rosabella said as she looks at Twilight's bag. "What book did you get?"

Twilight pulls out a graphic novel from her bag. Rosabella's eyes lit up. "Wow! Gunnerkrigg Court! One of the most fascinating graphic novels I've ever seen."

"I agree." Twilight replied. "This thing started as a web comic." Twilight then had an idea. "Say, how would you like to spend the night at my house? It is a Saturday, you know."

"Good idea." Rosabella answered as she pulls out her cell phone. "I'll call my parents and ask for their green light."

Later that night. Twilight was in her pajamas and Rosabella slipped into her short sleeved blue nightgown.

"I love your collection of books, Twilight." Rosabella praised. "A great variey."

"Aw, thank you." Twilight responded.

Soon, Twilight's father, Night Light, comes in with a bag in his hand. "Here are your meatball heroes, girls."

"Thanks, dad." Twilight said as she was given the bag.

As Twilight gives Rosabella her sandwich, a thought came to Night Light. "Rosabella, I know that you're the daughter of Beauty and the Beast. But, any relation to Briar Beauty?"

"I'm Briar's FIRST cousin." Rosabella answered.

Satisfied, Night Light left. Twilight and Rosabella enjoyed their hero sandwiches, and each other.

27. A Dragon at Camp

Twilight Sparkle and four of her friends made their way to Everfree Forest, where Camp Everfree is being set up again. Timber Spruce saw the girls, and waved to them.

"Hey, Timber." Rainbow Dash greeted. "What's up?"

"HI, Rainbow." Timber said. "It's good to see you guys again."

"Getting everything ready for camp season again?" Applejack wondered.

"Sure am, Applejack. Gloriosa Daisy will be coming here in a few weeks."

"Hopefully, without the spirit of Gaia Everfree possessing her." Rarity hoped.

"By the way," Twilight interrupted, "I heard that Sunset Shimmer and Fluttershy are here. What are they up to?"

Timber gave everyone a smirk. "They're just taking care of a dragon."

"A DRAGON?!" Everybody yelped in shock.

"A dragon in this place?" Pinkie Pie said with worry. "This beast come from Equestria?"

"No." Timber assured. "It came from Ever After High."

In another part of the camp, Fluttershy is in the air, on the back of a purple dragon. The creature flies gracefully. Fluttershy holds on tight.

I'm not usually into stuff like this. Fluttershy was thinking. But, this is an adrenaline rush! And, I love it!

On the ground, Sunset Shimmer videotaped her friend's dragon flight. The dragon landed, Fluttershy got off, and the dragon shrank to the size of large dog.

"How was it, Flutters?" Sunset asked.

"That was invigorating." Fluttershy answered.

Twilight and friends arrived, and saw the dragon Timber was talking about.

"Whoo-wee." Applejack called out. "Pretty cute looking critter."

"You should've seen it earlier, Applejack." Fluttershy stated. "It was a bit bigger."

"What's the deal with this dragon anyway?" Rainbow Dash wondered.

Fluttershy gave a small explanation. "This dragon's name is Nevermore. She can alter her size. From small and cuddly to big and fierce. I even flew on her back."

"Wow!" Pinkie yelped. "They should call you FlutterBOLD now."

Twilight looked at the dragon, and is amazed. "Nevermore, huh? Sounds like something from that poem by Edgar Allen Poe, The Raven."

"I understand, darling." Rarity figured. "Quoth the raven, 'nevermore'!"

"You got it, Rarity."

"The Raven." Rainbow blurted as a thought came into her head. "Hey, Fluttershy. Does this dragon belong to Raven Queen by any chance?"

"That's right, Rainbow Dash." Fluttershy replied. "Raven asked me to watch over Nevermore, while she helps Maddie get things ready for one of her tea parties."

"I love Maddie Hatter's tea parties." Pinkie said. "They're always lots of fun."

Sunset soon laughed which got everbody's attention.

"What's so funny, Sunset?" Twilight asked.

"I was videotaping Fluttershy riding Nevermore, and sent the footage over to Raven." Sunset answered. "She sent in a reply."

Fluttershy was surprised to hear that. "Oh my. What did she say?"

"Raven's response is this. I knew I left Nevermore in good hands. I know where that area of Camp Everfree is. Tell Fluttershy that I'll be there in ten minutes to pick up Nevermore."

The crew felt happy about Raven's response to seeing Fluttershy flying the dragon. Fluttershy especially.

"I wonder if Raven will ask Fluttershy to help with Nevermore if Ever After High has them Dragon Games again." Applejack wondered.

Twilight looked at the dragon, and had a thought. "It could be possible, Applejack."

Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna made their way to a nice outdoor café on a Friday Night. It was the end of the school week. And, after a week of helping teachers set students straight and keeping Canterlot High School safe, the sisters deserve some time for themselves.

"A table is reserved for you, ladies." The waiter said. "Someone dignified is waiting for you."

"Thank you, sir." Luna said as the waiter left.

"I wonder who would reserve a table for us." Celestia said.

"I'm not sure, sis. The invitation said to come here. But, my message didn't say who invited us."

Suddenly, the voice of a dignified man called to them. "Principal Celestia. Vice Principal Luna. Over here."

The sisters turned and saw an elegant man with a mustache and beard wave to them. They were both surprised to see who it is.

"Milton Grimm!" Celestia blurted.

"The headmaster of Ever After High?" Luna said. "I don't believe it."

They cautiously walked to Headmaster Grimm's table and sat with him.

"Hello, my friends." Grimm greeted. "Nice of you to join me."

"What is this meeting all about, Headmaster Grimm?" Celestia asked.

"It's a Friday night, school is closed for the weekend. So, I figured that leaders of schools like ours can relax and enjoy each other's company."

"You have a point, Milton." Luna figured. "If the students of our respected schools can get along, so can we."

"Exactly, Luna." Milton Grimm replied.

The waiter brought out glasses of water and three menus to the guests as the waiter greeted them. "I shall return when you're ready to order."

"Thank you." Celestial politely said.

As the waiter leaves, Grimm got the sisters' attention. "I'm not the only representative of Ever After High to be here, ladies. Just look around."

They looked and saw a young man with a beard polishing a flute.

"Celestia." Luna announced. "There's the Pied Piper. He teaches music class."

The Pied Piper waved to the sisters. As they wave back, Celestia looked worried. "Luna, I think I'm getting sick. I thought I saw a living cookie."

Luna turned and saw what Celestia saw. It was a living cookie creation. She smiled and turned to her sister. "You're not hallucinating. That's the Gingerbread Man. He's a Gym teacher."

Celestia felt a little better. She then saw a woman with wavy red hair and wearing a white dress.

"There's a teacher I can get along with." Celestia told her sister. "That's Maid Marian. She's a teacher of Damsels in Distress Class."

"I heard that Darling Charming attends that class." Luna stated. "But, if she wants to be a hero, why attend that class?"

"I can tell you." Milton Grimm responded. "That way, when she goes to the rescue, she'll know what kind of damsel to look for."

"That makes sense."

As they look at their menus, a wolfman wearing an exploration outfit approaches the table.

"Evening, folks." The wolfman greeted.

Celestia saw the wolfman, and knows who it is. "The Big Bad Wolf. One of the most popular fairy tale villains of all time."

"I'm glad somebody knows of my legacy."

Luna looks at the visiting villain. "I wonder how the likes of Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs stand somebody like you."

"You'd be surprised, Luna." Big Bad replied.

Later, after Grimm and the sisters ordered their food, Grimm raised his glass. "Here's to a pleasant future together."

"Cheers!" Celestia and Luna said together as they raise their glasses too.

This will be a night Celestia and Luna will always remember.

Epilogue-Story Time Over

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon spent time at the playground, looking through Diamond's book her father brought her.

"Wow!" Silver Spoon said with excitement. "These Ever After High short stories are amazing."

"They sure are." Diamond replied. "I read one to two stories a day, depending on the length of each. My mother was right to bring this book to me."

"I heard that when rain ruined our day at the beach three weeks ago, you got very upset. No doubt, your mom gave you that book to cheer you up."

Diamond Tiara nodded. Then, a thought came to her. "It's too bad there wasn't any story featuring Hopper Croakington the Second."

"The son of The Frog Prince?" Silver figured. "Yeah, that character was a confusing one all right."

As the two friends continued to look at the book, Babs Seed was watching from a distance.

"Ever After High?" Babs thought out loud. "Phooey!" Babs Seed walked away, doubting about Diamond's storybook. "I'll bet there's no such place."

Just then, somebody tapped Babs Seed's shoulder. She turned around and was face to face with Gus and Helga Crumb, the children of Hansel and Gretel.

"No such place, you say?" Gus said brutally.

"That's what you think, sister." Helga added.

The two cousins high fived each other and skipped away. This left Babs Seed surprised. Then, she became doubtful. "Nah, that's silly. It couldn't be them."
