Canterlot City, a place with some serious recent history. Especially with all the loose magic roaming around this huge, majestic city. But luckily, there were 7 girls who were there to answer the call and restore harmony among their friends. And to think that it all started with a once power hungry girl named Sunset Shimmer. Had it not been for Princess Twilight Sparkle, chaos would have ensued worldwide.

And to this day, a year has passed since those 7 girls graduated and went their separate ways, making the world a better place in their own way. For one particular boy, it was a bittersweet ending he wished would've lasted a bit longer.

This boy's name… was Frostbite, age 19. During his high school days, he was a top-notch athlete who was quick on his feet when he ran track, swam laps or spiked balls in volleyball tournaments, scoring a lot of wins for his team. In a way, he was well-respected among most of his peers. But there was one problem: he was insecure, always overthinking things, especially when it came to relationships.

Despite his reputation, he wasn’t so lucky in finding a lovely girlfriend. Not that they didn't like him, some girls actually found him attractive. The only problem was that he was always falling in love with the wrong girl. But there’s one girl who caught his eye. Applejack, the hardworking, honest girl of Sweet Apple Acres.  

Every time he saw her, his heart would soar a thousand miles. Her dazzling emerald eyes, perfectly light-tanned skin and gorgeous long, blonde hair, not to mention her curvaceous body all screamed out "Ah'm more than girlfriend material." Frostbite always dreamed of asking her out, but he never had the courage to, and now he feels like he never will.

He even tried to ask her to the prom, but he botched that and beat himself up about it, saying that he was stupid to run out like that. Now it's all just a dead pipe dream.

His only dream now is to be with her. Right now, he's currently living on his own, away from his family so he can try and make it on his own. A hard task is easier said than done. Frostbite was coming down on his luck as recently, he got fired from his job at the mall as a security cop for unnecessary force. He had beaten up a burglar who tried to make off with a woman''s purse and some jewelry, which Frostbite stopped by tackling him to the ground and beating him to a pulp.

His boss had enough of his aggressive methods as Frostbite’s attitude was getting out of hand. He had no choice but to fire him as a security cop from the mall, in which Frostbite didn’t take it too well. 

Now, he had to find another job, checking the newspaper for any kind of open positions that piqued his interest. Then, as luck would have it, he found an ad that said Sweet Apple Acres was looking for some extra set of hands to harvest apples. The ad even said to call Applejack, phone number and all.

To anyone else, they wouldn't hesitate to apply for the job. For Frostbite, he was hesitant since he would be working alongside his high school crush. But he had no other choice, he needed this job or else he won't be able pay next month's rent and he was down to his last dollars after spending it all on food.

So, he took out his phone and dialed Applejack's number. While waiting for her to answer the call, Frostbite was overthinking on what he should tell her that he wanted the job.

“Should I speak with a strong, confident voice or maybe the smart, interested tone of voice?” He was starting to get a little nervous as he remembered how he failed to ask her properly to the prom during their Senior year.

With so deep in his thoughts he almost didn’t hear Applejack answering his call. “Applejack here, from Sweet Apple Acres. What can I do for ya?” Hearing that sweet, southern accent of her made Frostbite gulp in nervousness as his lips were firmly closed. “Hello? Anyone there? This is Applejack speaking.” 

“C’mon Frostbite, you got this,” he mentally told himself. Taking a slow, deep breath, he answered the call. “H-Hello, Applejack. T-T-This is F-Frostbite." he stuttered.

"Howdy Frostbite. What can Ah do ya for?" Applejack asked.

"I, uh… well, I… I saw your ad in the paper. So, I'm wondering if, uh… if you're still hiring," Frostbite said nervously.

"As a matter of fact, we are. If yer lookin' to apply, you'll have to come on by an' pass a lil' test  before we can fully hire you. Think you can stop on by in about an hour?" Applejack asked.

"Y-Yeah sure, I can do that," he replied.

"Glad to hear it. Ah'll see ya when ya get here," Applejack said before she hung up. Frostbite sighed in relief as he put his phone away in his pocket.

“Here’s hoping,” he mumbled to himself. So, after getting on a fresh change of clothes and grabbing his car keys, he headed out of his house, locking the door, then jumped into his car. Frostbite started up the engine and pulled out of the driveway, then drove off to Sweet Apple Acres with his fingers crossed. 





Meanwhile, down at Sweet Apple Acres, the ever-so hard-working Applejack was inside the house, having a good lunch to boost her energy. Her brother, Big Macintosh is out pulling in some overtime after accidentally sleeping in, even though it wasn't his fault. Her younger sister, Applebloom was also enjoying her lunch that their dear grandmother: Granny Smith had made for them.

AJ's little sister has had a lot of time on her hands ever since she, Applebloom and Big Macintosh have graduated from high school. With her finally being of age, she’s now allowed to do some heavier work like her big sister and her big brother. 

Yup, she's learning the hard way that the adult world isn't all fun and games. "So, Applejack, who was that on the phone?" Applebloom asked.

"Oh, it was jus' someone lookin' to find some work.” Her sister replied before taking a bite from her sandwich.

"Really? Ah thought no one would read the newspaper ads anymore," Applebloom said.

"That just goes to show that there are some people in the world that can't afford laptops or computers and whatnot," Applejack said.

"There 're still unemployment offices where they got computers set up fer anyone who's applyin' fer jobs that suit their area of expertise," Big Mac said, coming in, wiping the sweat off of him.

Applejack immediately handed her big brother a glass of water. Big Mac thanked her before he drank the entire glass empty in a few seconds. 

"Ah certainly hope this newcomer can handle as much back work as Big Mac can. We ain't gotten enough progress done since yer father went and done broke his back," Granny Smith said, washing some dishes.

"Now don't be so hard on him, mother. That fallen branch caught him by surprise. Ah mean, it's thanks to him our lil' Applebloom is safe an' sound," Pear Butter said, helping out Granny Smith.

“True, the well-being of my grandchildren always comes first,” Granny Smith said and ruffled Applebloom’s hair teasingly. 

“Granny, stop doing that! Ah’m not a little kid anymore,” Applebloom protested.

"Maybe to us, but fer Granny yer not, she thinks all of us as her babies. Ma ain't any different from her," Applejack said.

"Guilty as charged. As long as I’m around ya’ll always be mah babies. Now, Applejack, when do ya suppose that new recruit'll be showin' up?" Pear asked.

"Ah told him to get here within an hour," Applejack said. "An' Ah'm sure he'll get here soon, but fer now…" she then gets up from the table, grabbing her empty plate and heading over to the sink to wash it. "...Ah gotta get back to work. Them apples ain't gonna pick themselves."

"Alright. I'll handle the dishes, you just worry about them apples," Pear said. 

"Sure thing, Ma," Applejack said. She quickly made her way out of the house and out towards the apple orchard, grabbing a few empty baskets. She started picking the apples one by one, humming a pleasant tune to keep her mind relaxed while she worked.

As the minutes passed, Applejack noticed a car pulling up into the driveway. She checked her phone to see what time it was. Her new recruit was 25 minutes early and that made her smirk in approval for his punctuality.

Stepping out of the car was a familiar face she hadn't seen since high school: Frostbite. The young man walked up to Applejack, trying to hide his nervousness as best he could. "D-Did I… keep you waiting?" he asked.

"Nope, ya got here pretty early. That's an added plus on yer part," Applejack said. "Come with me back to the farm an' we'll start yer test."

"R-Right, got it," he replied. Frostbite followed AJ back to the house, trying his hardest not to stare at her sweet booty. 'Cut it out, Frostbite, you're not making a very good first impression! Just calm down and think of something else,' he thought.

"So, what made ya decide to come work for Sweet Apple Acres?" Applejack asked.

"I, uh… I got fired at my last job," Frostbite replied, scratching the back of his head, looking down in embarrassment.

"Really? What for?"

"I beat up a robber who tried to run off with some jewelry… and a woman's purse. They laid me off for unnecessary force."

"Ouch. Well, Ah will say one thing about that. Ah get that people who try to make money the easy way by stealin' ain't the way to go, but ya can't let yer emotions get the better o' ya or else no one in this city'll hire ya ever," she explained.

"Yeah, you're right about that." Frostbite agreed. For that moment, he didn't feel so shy around his high school crush, seeing as how she was so understanding, yet honest with him. Now he knows why he's got his heart set on her.

“So how ‘bout we turn things around for ya?” Applejack said. “Show me that ya have what it takes in helping the Apple family around here.

“W-what will you have me do then?” Frostbite asked.

“See those trees in the distance there?” She pointed to some apple trees that were on the hill next to them. “I want ya to help me finish picking all those apples before sunset. If we can get it done on time, yer hired. Think ya can help this cowgirl out, Sugarcube?” 

"Sure, let's do it," Frostbite said.

“Good, then you can start by helpin' me carry the rest of all these here empty baskets and we’ll head over there an' get things started,” Applejack ordered.

"Right!" he replied confidently. And so, Frostbite followed Applejack up the hill to where the trees were and helped her pick the apples at a breakneck pace. Frostbite was also careful not to pick them too fast or risk accidentally taking off a branch with them. Over time, Big Mac and Applebloom pitched in to help out, too.

Frostbite had seen Big Mac and Applebloom before, but he never really got to know them very well back when they were still students at high school. Applebloom was really fun to hang out with and always brought a smile onto his face. Big Mac, being a man of very few words, was like the big brother Adrian never knew he wanted. 

They got to talking as they worked, going over their hobbies, aside from the work they each put into their everyday lives. Applebloom always liked spending her weekends with her other two friends, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. She explained that during the weekdays, Sweetie has been helping her sister, Rarity at the boutique. Scootaloo got a job at a music store with her idol, Rainbow Dash, selling instruments and learning about how each of them work. At least… the ones that appeal to her.

Sadly on the weekends, Applebloom's friends had recently gotten together with their brand new boyfriends and haven't had enough time to spend with Applebloom. Sweetie Belle's been going out with a boy named Button Mash and Scootaloo spends her time with Rumble, Thunderlane's little brother.

But things aren't all bad. Applebloom said that she has eyes on a young man with a passion for dancing named Tender Taps.

As for Big Mac, once every 1 or 2 weeks, he spends his weekends with his longtime sweetheart and fiance, Sugar Belle. Apparently, Sweet Apple Acres have been sharing their delicious pastries with Big Mac's fiance to help with her business at her pastry shop.

Frostbite was so astonished by Applejack and her family's lives that he didn't realize that he had just picked the last apple from the last tree… until his crush pointed it out.

"Well done there, sugarcube. Ya got it all done in record time," AJ said.

“Thanks, Applejack.” Frostbite nearly blushed at the praise his crush gave him. 

“Yer welcome, Sugarcube,” she patted him on the shoulder. “Now all that’s left is to carry all these full baskets back to the farm."

"Right. Here we go," Frostbite took two of the baskets by the handles, then used as much of his strength to lift them up off the ground. They felt a lot heavier than he thought, but he was still able to carry both of them down the hill. Applejack and her siblings all went down, lifting the baskets like they were light as a feather. She was impressed when she saw Frostbite carrying two baskets filled with apples. Most of the guys she knew could only carry one at the time. 

'Ah think he’ll gonna fit right in just fine,' Applejack said in her thoughts.

Frostbite and the others finally reached the barn and set the baskets down, allowing Frostbite to wipe the sweat off his forehead. "Phew, that was tough."

"But ya held in there, an' Ah dare say ya passed the test. As of now, yer officially our new extra set o' hands at Sweet Apple Acres," AJ said. "This also means you'll have to be here bright an' early at 6 AM sharp. Yer shift'll end at 6 PM. An' also, you'll be paid a solid $12 an hour. Also, since ya have a driver's license, you'll also be drivin' the truck to the supermarket to deliver a fresh batch o' apples. Big Mac'll guide ya durin' the deliveries."

“Eyup!” Her older brother confirmed.

"Alright. I'll make sure not to let you down. And thanks again for giving me a chance," he said, shaking her hand.

"Yer welcome, sugarcube. Now head on home an' get yerself cleaned up. Ya don't wanna stink to high heaven on yer first day at work tomorrow," she said, pointing at all the sweaty areas on Frostbite's shirt and his forehead.

"Right. I'll see you tomorrow," Frostbite was then about to head out, but then, Applejack grabbed his hand, then pulled him in for a friendly hug. His heartbeat raced a million miles when she had done that. Though hesitant, he hugged her back, feeling a tingling sensation flow throughout his entire body. After she let him go, he hopped into his car, then drove off.

"Hey, Applejack, why'd ya go an' hug him like that?" Applebloom asked.

"Because he needed it. Fer good luck, ya know? An' also, he's got the looks," AJ mumbled that part, keeping it to herself.

"Well, okay then. Just remind me to get mah camera out the next time you decide to hug 'im, or maybe even kiss 'im," she teased, making AJ blush.

"It ain't like that, dag-nabbit!" AJ replied defensively.

“Whatever you say, sis,” Applebloom continued teasing. “Just don’t get startled whenever you see a flash going off when you’re busy with him.”

“Applebloom…” AJ said. Her little sister giggled and ran back inside the house. AJ shook her head and sighing. "She might be an adult, but she ain't behavin' like one."

"Eeyup," Mac nodded.





Soon, Frostbite arrives at his house safe and sound. He got out of his car and locked it, then approached the front door, unlocking it, then stepped inside. He closed the door behind him and threw his shirt off, tossing it into the dirty basket in the hallway. Frostbite walked down the hall, taking a right, entering the bathroom.

Taking off the rest of his clothes, Frostbite stepped into the shower, turned it on and his body was greeted with fresh, warm water coming from the shower head. Sighing, he closed his eyes and relaxed.

"What a day. Seeing Applejack today… really made me happy. Even now, she's still as beautiful as ever. I can't believe I actually got the job. Now I get to work with her, this is amazing! Though, I'd better not let mom and dad know that I got canned at my previous job.”

Then, some other thoughts came to his mind. "Gee… I'm surprised that she's still willing to talk to me after I botched out on asking her out. I can't believe I would do something so stupid. She probably doesn't wanna go out with me now. But… she did hug me, so I guess that's a start. Ugh, listen to myself, I'm acting like a loser because I'm too scared of rejection from Applejack. I can't keep running like this forever.” He scratched the back of his head, figuring out what to do. 

After taking his relaxing shower, Frostbite started to dry himself off with a dark blue towel. He then came up with an idea. “Guess, I just should take things easy. Taking life one day at the time, trying to get to know her and her family better. They do seem pretty close,” it brought a smile to his face as he remembered the strong bond that Applejack has with her family.

When he finished drying himself off, he put on some clean clothes, Frostbite then went to the kitchen to make some dinner. After all the work he and Applejack did today he was getting pretty hungry for a big, hearty meal. 

He opened up the fridge and took out a box of leftover pizza he had ordered yesterday. He opens the box, finding 6 good slices left. He takes them out and puts them on a plate, then in the microwave. While he waits, he takes the time to get some ice cold water and set up his table, getting rid of the crumbs from this morning's breakfast.

Waiting for his pizza to be warmed up, Frostbite checked his phone seeing if he missed any calls or text messages from his parents. As a matter of fact, he did miss one call. But it was from an unknown number. “Must be someone who got the wrong number,” he assumed since the caller didn’t leave a voice message behind. Shrugging it off, Frostbite deleted the missed call and started to listen to some of his favorite music until his pizza was ready.

Frostbite got his dinner out of the microwave and brought it back with him to the dinner table. He waited for his meal to cool off before taking a bite. But for some reason, he couldn't get his mind off the missed call. He's already blocked loads of scammers and telemarketers, but the ones with an unknown number are tricky. Whoever it was, he just hopes they don't call him again.





It was 5 in the morning when Frostbite’s alarm went off. Pressing the ‘off’ button, he rubbed his eyes and quickly got out of bed as he didn’t want to be late on his first day at his new job. He walked over to his closet, taking out a clean shirt and pants. He got himself dressed up, then he made his way to the kitchen for some much needed breakfast.

Frostbite was on a timeline, so some simple buttered toast was all he could make along with a good cup of coffee. Quickly eating his breakfast, he went then went over to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Checking the time on his watch, as it was now 5:24 AM, Frostbite quickly washed his face and combed his hair before leaving home.

“Best not to be late on my first day at Sweet Apple Acres,” Frostbite told himself, feeling a little nervous for seeing his crush again so soon. But he's not going there to date her, at least not this early after meeting up with her again.

He ran back into his room to grab his car keys, then presses the button to unlock his car. Rushing out the door of his house, he locks up his house before jumping in his car. Turning on the engine, he went and drove off to his new job as the first rays of the golden sun were rising over the horizon.

Applejack was already waiting for him at the barn, along with Big Mac and Applebloom. They didn’t had to wait long before they heard the engine of Frostbite’s car driving up. Parking his car next to their truck, Frostbite stepped out and greeted the both of them. Just like yesterday, Frostbite arrived a little early. Not just as early as yesterday, but early nonetheless.

“G’morning, Sugarcube!” Applejack greeted him back with a smile. “Are ya ready for a hard day’s work?”

“Ready as I’ll ever be,” Frostbite smirked.

"Alrighty then. Frostbite, come along with me. Before we git down to business, we always start things off around here with an early mornin' breakfast," AJ said. "Have ya had anythin' to eat before ya got here?"

"Only a slice of buttered toast," he replied.

"Well then yer in luck. If yer gonna work hard, ya gotta eat good so you can have more energy throughout the whole day," Applejack explained. "An' yer gonna love Ma's home cookin'. She learned from Granny Smith an' she learned well."

"Mmm, sounds good,' Frostbite smiled.

"Come on now, before Pa and Big Mac eat the whole dang table," AJ said, grabbing his hand. While she guided him up to her house, Frostbite was blushing madly at how she was holding his hand so casually. But as much as he wanted to die happy, he drowned out the heavenly choir in his head and walked inside AJ's home. "Howdy everyone, look who's here!"

"Howdy there, youngun. So yer the feller that my granddaughter hired yesterday. Y'all must be in fine shape to keep up with our daily work," Granny Smith said.

"Ooh, an' yer not a bad-lookin' young man either. Oh, you remind me so much o' mah husband when we were younger. Speakin' o' which, where is that slowpoke?" she asked jokingly.

"Ah'm comin' dear, no need to yank on mah chain," said an older man's voice. You looked down the hall and saw AJ's dad, but in a wheelchair. It's amazing how his youngest daughter, Applebloom looks so much like him. The red hair, bright yellow skin, but the eyes are different. Well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, not in this family anyways. "Oh, an' who's this?" he asks, turning to Frostbite.

"My name's Frostbite. I'm gonna be working with you guys," Frostbite introduced himself.

"It's a pleasure to meet ya, son. Name's Bright Macintosh," he said as they shook hands. "This here lovely lady is mah wife, Pear Butter. But Ah usually call her Buttercup on a count o' how on our first date, Ah sneeze some buttercup flowers onto her an' it got all over her hair. Ya shoulda seen how adorable she looked."

"Respectfully, I think your wife is still pretty adorable," Frostbite complimented.

"Aww, ain't y'all just the sweetest thang," Pear said, cupping his cheek, blushing.

“Come on now ma, don’t embarrass Frostbite on his first day,” Applejack said.

“Sorry Sweetie, he seems to know how to flatter a girl. I’m surprised you don’t have the hots fer this young man even after graduatin'. He's a real keeper," Pear winked. Now AJ was blushing madly at her mother's teasing.

"Ma! Why'd ya have to say that?!” 

“Aw AJ, you know your mom is only teasing ya,” Bright Mac assured his daughter. 

 "If y'all 're done chatterin', let's hurry an' fill up our bellies an' git to work!" Granny Smith said.

"Eeyup," Big Mac agreed.

"Me too," Applebloom added. Now that everyone got a good laugh from AJ's embarrassment, they all took their seats at the table. Pear and Granny Smith set several tasty dishes on the table that made Frostbite's stomach rumble for more food. They had made apple fritters, pancakes, apple strudels, hash browns and a jug of apple juice.

"Mmm, this looks delicious," Frostbite said.

"Why thank you. Ma and Ah worked hard to make this scrumptious spread," Pear replied. "Go right on ahead and serve yerselves." With her permission granted, Frostbite got himself a plateful of everything and maybe a little more. But, he made sure to show good table manners and ate at a steady pace.

"Anyone wanna bet he might want 2nds?" Bright Mac asked.

“I’m up for it.” Frostbite quickly replied. 

Bright Mac smiled and handed him another plate full of delicious apple sweets. “You got some good appetite young man and soon you’ll become big and strong like us, Apples.”

"But he ain't got no stomach of an ox like AJ does. She's always eaten 3rds and on some occasions 4ths, an' good thing, too. We like to have our meals being eaten fresh," Granny Smith mentioned, looking at AJ.

AJ blushed while serving herself a 3rd plate full of delicious apple sweets.  Everyone else laughed it off while they kept enjoying this delightful breakfast. Frostbite felt more at home here than he did back at his house. 
 
“You alright there Sugarcube?” AJ shook his shoulder softly. “You were spacing out a bit.”

Frostbite shook his head a bit, focusing his mind back on the present. “Yeah, I’m good AJ. I was thinking how I just met your family and I already feel such a strong connection with you all.”

“Well Sonny, we Apples always look out for each other and our friends,” Granny Smith explained. “Any friend of Applejack is a friend of ours.” 

“Eeyup!” Big Mac added.

“Totally!” Applebloom agreed.

AJ, along with her parents nodded their head in agreement as well. It made Frostbite’s cheeks turn red as he scratched the back of his head. “Aw shucks, thank y'all, that really means a lot.”

“See? You already sound like a true Apple!” AJ joked making the whole table laugh at the joke, including Frostbite.

“Alright that’s enough family bonding for now everyone,” Pear stood up from her seat. “The sun’s now up it’s time fer us all to get to work. We still have a lot of apples to harvest.”

Now that everyone had their fill, they all headed out to the apple orchard and began to harvest their fresh apples. Applejack had Frostbite come with her to the west part of the orchard where those apples were ready to be picked. Big Mac and Applebloom headed off to pick apples on east side of the orchard. Bright Mac and Pear Butter stayed in the farm, separating the good apples from the bad apples.

Meanwhile, Granny Smith stayed inside the house, washing up all the dishes, humming to herself, minding her own business.

So far, Applejack and Frostbite have already picked a total of 15 baskets of apples. Not a bad start for the two on their first day working together. Of course, while she was working, she couldn't help but admire Frostbite's dedication. With a little luck, he could even help make their quota by the time the Autumn season comes. Right now they were carrying a few of the 15 baskets filled with apples back to the barn. 

“Thank ya kindly, Frostbite, for helping us out. I made a bet with Big Mac in the morning that we could get all these Golden Delicious in the barn by Lunchtime. If we win, he’s gonna walk down Stirrup Street in one of Granny’s girdles.” Applejack chuckled while carrying her baskets with ease.

“You’re welcome, AJ! Glad I could help you and your family out. It’s hard work picking all those apples but I love doing it with you… working I mean.”  

"Glad to hear it. It ain't every day we get help from people other than mah friends. So tell me, what made ya decide to work here of all places?" AJ asked.

"Well...you know… it's a pretty large orchard and… you could use some help and since I got fired from my previous job, I figured I could lend you a hand. That and… well… maybe I'll tell you the other reason some other time," Frostbite said, scratching the back of his head.

"Ah can respect that. How 'bout this weekend? Maybe on Saturday over at the Sugar Cafe? It's one o' the best places to hang out and grab a good bite to eat," AJ invited.

“Sure, I have no plans then. Sounds fun.” Frostbite approved of her idea. “What time there?” 

“How about at 12:30? Ah got a break durin' that time, partner," Applejack replied.

"Hmm, alright Applejack it’s a date-deal! I mean it's a deal!!!” Frostbite stumbled over his words as a drip of sweat rolled down his forehead. 

Applejack chuckled, "Alrighty then, sugarcube. Ah'll be seein' ya this Saturday. Now let's git back to work." Frostbite nodded and they both entered the barn and placed their first baskets of apples inside.

Once that was done, they headed back out in another part of the orchard. But then, Frostbite's eyes darted down towards Applejack's fresh apple ass. He had never seen a more beautifully fresh pair of apples in his life. But when AJ looked back, Frostbite immediately looked back at her beautiful, shiny green eyes. He hoped that she didn’t catch him looking at her sexy butt.

"Hope ya got more fuel in the tank, 'cause the work around here is just beginnin'," she said.

"After that big meal, I might have enough energy to pull in some overtime," Frostbite said.

"Whoa-ho there, sounds like a winnin' attitude if Ah ever heard one." AJ replied.

“Well AJ, that’s one thing you need to know about me: I won’t stop till the job gets done,” Frostbite said, sincerely. Applejack, pleased with his motivation, looked over to him with those twinkling emerald eyes and bright smile. The kind of look that made Frostbite's heart skip a beat and his face flush. AJ quickly noticed it and chuckled.

"Is that sunburn or are ya blushin'?" AJ asked. It only made Frostbite blush even more when she caught onto him admiring her natural charm.

“Eh, it’s just some sunburn AJ, nothing to worry about,” he assured her.

"If ya say so," AJ knew he was lying, but didn't press on. She knew where to draw the line… for the time being anyways.





Later on during the day Frostbite and AJ finally got done with their apple picking. And for AJ, she was glad to have won the bet. She really let her brother have it and Applebloom was more than happy to take some pictures once Big Mac had Granny’s girdles on.

Big Mac has never felt more humiliated in his life. But wait, the fun doesn't stop there. Big Mac and Frostbite were now taking their cargo of fresh apples to the customers. The customers were having the time of their lives when Frostbite and Big Mac delivered their apples. 

But wait, there's more, when Big Mac and Frostbite drove over to Sugar Belle's pastry shop, she had a hell of a field day to see her fiance in his granny's girdles. She couldn't stop laughing and almost cracked her ribs. This was definitely Frostbite's best first day working with AJ at Sweet Apple Acres.

After returning to the farm, Frostbite and AJ now had to get to work on making some apple cider for cider season. After they filled their first barrel, they placed it aside as this one was meant for one of Applejack’s best friends: Rainbow Dash. One of the best athletes of CHS and she loves some good apple cider made by the Apple family.

Some might say she's one of the main reasons the apple family is in business and always the first one to buy a barrel of apple cider on the first day of the season. As tasty as the apple cider was, making that stuff is hard work, especially when Frostbite and the Apple family have to sort out the good apples from the bad. 

Only Granny Smith and Pear Butter could tell the good from the bad. Frostbite didn't know how they could tell, but he wasn't one to question their area of expertise. While they were sorting the apples, Applejack told Frostbite the story about how they nearly lost the farm to Flim and Flam. The two brothers had invented a machine that produced apple cider twice as fast as the Apple Family, but it had terrible results. 

"Psh, those idiots don't appreciate the fundamentals of making real apple cider," Frostbite rolled his eyes at the thought of those scam artists. "I'll drink a fresh bottle of your apple cider any day over their slop."

"Thanks a bunch, Sugarcube. Ah'm glad someone other than Rainbow Dash appreciates the hard work we put into makin' such fine refreshments," Pear replied.

“Your welcome, Pear,” Frostbite said. “I’m kinda ‘old school’ I prefer the original ways of working with my bare hands instead of using modern machines these days. It makes me feel like I'm alive and I enjoy what I do.”

“Now, that’s somethin’ you don’t hear everyday,” Granny Smith complimented him. “We just might make a true Apple out of you.” 

"By the way, how'd ya get fired at yer previous job again?" Pear asked. "Ah hope Ah didn't sound too nosey, just curious."

"I lost my temper and beat up this burglar who tried to make off with a bag of jewels and this woman's purse, leaving him in a bloody mess," Frostbite said, blushing from his blunder. "My boss had enough with my temper and kicked me out."

"Sounds like ya really have a thang against them there thievin' whippersnappers. Ah tell ya, ol' cranky Pears had a similar grudge to yers," Granny Smith said.

"Who?" Frostbite asked.

"She means mah Pa, Grand Pear. An' as Applebloom calls him, "Grand Pear-Pear." He had a similar grudge against crooks. Anytime he caught them snoopin' around his pear farm, he made 'em work fer 12 hour straight with no breaks. Taught 'em a lesson on how stealin' was wrong." Pear said before giggling.

"Wow, maybe I should've used that method instead. Where is he right now?" Frostbite asked. But the moment he asked that, their smiles quickly faded.

"He's… no longer with us. He passed away 6 months ago from natural causes. Ah should let ya know, he an' mah in-laws would always feud. Since Bright Mac an' Ah were kids, we always had a thang fer each other. Though our parents forbade it, we still saw each other day in an' day out. Then the day came when Ah decided to git married to Bright Mac. Ah even had to make the tough decision of bein' an apple over a pear. Mah father even made me choose." Pear explained with tears in her eyes.

"What? That's cruel!" Frostbite said, keeping his cool and trying not to blow up with anger.

"It wasn't all bad. Years later, that ol' grump came back an' said he was sorry, hopin' to make up fer lost time. 6 months ago, he used his last breath tellin' mah son he was glad he married Pear an' told us all how much he loved us. That ol' grouch soon slept fer good with a peaceful smile on his wrinkly ol' face," Granny Smith finished.

“My condolences to you all,” Frostbite managed to say after hearing the entire story about Pear Butter’s father. Despite that he was a big old grumpy pants at least he died happily.

"Ya know, in a way, yer like ma Pa. Ya might have a rough exterior, but yer heart's always in the right place. Ah dare say ya might already be a part o' the family," Pear said.

"Thank you, Pear. That really means a lot." Frostbite kindly replied.

"Now then, what do ya say we git back down to business. We still got a lot o' apples to sort out and turn into fresh apple cider," Granny Smith said. Frostbite nods and keeps helping the others sort out the apples, making up for lost time after hearing such an emotional story. Somehow, hearing that sweet story has given him a brand new set of confidence when he meets up with AJ on the weekend for his lunch date.

He can only hope it doesn't end badly like it did with his old job.





A few days later, Frostbite was getting used to his new daily work life at Sweet Apple Acres. He spent some of his freetime, trying to play out how he was gonna tell AJ everything, from the time he admired her and the time he botched on asking her out. 

He kept up with his daily routine, working until 6PM and heading off to bed at 9PM. Applejack was glad to have him around. No matter the weather, Frostbite helped her and her family out through rain and wind. Though she may not admit it she sometimes stares at him while Frostbite is picking apples or carrying his baskets. His muscles were quite a sight.

Frostbite also got a few looks when walking up the hills, catching a good view of AJ's sweet apple ass, though he had to pull all the stops to hide his boner in his tight pants.

Unbeknownst to him, AJ's family could tell he was checking her out, but didn't say a word. Well… except for Applebloom. She loved giving him a hard time, teasing him about his infatuation over her big sister, much to Frostbite’s annoyance. But at least she didn’t tell AJ about him… for now.

It was 6PM again as Frostbite placed his last basket for today inside the barn. Dusting his hands off, he waited for AJ to arrive with her baskets. The sun was already setting for today and soon, the hard-working farm gal showed up, setting down her basket and wiping the sweat off of her forehead, sighing in relief.

"Another job well done, partner. That's yer cue to head on home an' wash up. Ya put in some real effort today. Thanks a bunch," AJ said.

"Right. It was my pleasure. We're still on for that lunch tomorrow, right?" Frostbite asked.

"You betcha. Now don't ya go flakin' out on me, ya hear?" AJ smirked.

"I'm very punctual when it comes to arriving on time. So you bet your apples I'll be at the Sugar Cafe with bells on," Frostbite assured.

Pleased with his answer, AJ saw him off with a wink. Frostbite got into his car and drove back home, leaving Applejack and her family. As soon as he was out of her eyesight, AJ felt a hint of blush form on her cheeks. "He's one in a million, that Frostbite feller," she said.

“He sure is big sis,” Applebloom replied from behind a haystack.

“Applebloom! Were you spyin’ on us again?”

“‘Course not sis, I was just tired from working extra hard today. I helped Big Mac in making some Apple Cider after I’d finished picking Apples. When I got back here I just wanted to lay down for a bit and that’s when I heard you two come in,” she replied honestly.

"Uh-huh," AJ said skeptically.

Meanwhile, Frostbite arrived at his house later on after his long drive. After exiting his car, he locked the door and headed inside of his house, locking the door. Frostbite didn't wait for a second to take off his shirt. He walked down the hall and tossed his shirt into the dirty basket. Then, he made his way into the bathroom where he removed his pants, boxers, socks and shoes, sighing in relief.

"Any longer and I would've stunk up the whole neighborhood." he said to himself. Frostbite closed the bathroom door and turned on the shower. He then stepped inside once the shower was warm enough. As the warm water crashed down on his body, he started thinking about his date with AJ. "This is my only chance. I can't let it pass by me anymore. No more being nervous or shy. She has to hear what I have to say, even if I do end up getting rejected."

Frostbite was now more determined than he ever was. He lost his chance to dance with AJ at the prom, but faith has given him a 2nd chance. He's not going to let it pass by again.





It was now 12:25 P.M and Frostbite had arrived a little early. He was currently waiting inside his car for AJ to arrive. While waiting for her, he was thinking about what he said to himself yesterday and how he’s going to tell AJ about his feelings for her. “Just stay, calm Frostbite. Keep it cool and most importantly be honest. She can tell when you’re lying to her.” He encouraged himself. 

And within minutes, he sees a familiar red truck pull up into the driveway. In the driver's seat was Big Mac and in the passenger's seat was the sweet farmer gal he's been crushing on. She climbs out of the truck and waves bye to her brother. He waves back at his sister, then over at Frostbite with his warm smile. He pulls out of the driveway and heads back to the farm, leaving his sister in the company of Frostbite.

This was Frostbite's cue to climb out of his own car and walks up to AJ. "I hope I didn't arrive too late, Applejack," he said.

"Nope. Ya got here just in time, as usual. Ya sure make a habit outta bein' at the right place at the right time." AJ assured proudly.

“Heh, thanks AJ,” Frostbite rubbed the back of his head, blushing a little. “It’s a habit of mine to arrive a little earlier than usual so I certainly will be on time. Shall we go inside now? I’m getting a little hungry.”

“Right behind ya, partner.” Applejack replied, following his lead. 

Frostbite guided her towards the entrance of the Sugar Cafe and opened the door for her while stepping to the side. “After you, m’lady.” 

“Why thank ya, Sugarcube,” the farm girl said and went inside with him following behind. The two of them walked up to a table 2nd closest to the door. Afterwards, one of the waitresses came up to the two, greeting them both and handing them their menus.

"Can I start you both off with something to drink?" she asked.

"Sure, a nice cup o' orange soda will do," Applejack replied.

"And a Coke, please," Frostbite added.

"Okay then, I'll have them out right away," the waitress said happily before leaving. 

"Ya gotta love the services they provide here," Applejack commented.

"Eeyup," Frostbite said, mimicking her brother. AJ giggled and Frostbite laughed alongside with her, already having a good time. "Hey AJ, what made you decide to invite me out for lunch here in the first place? We've barely started out as friends and co-workers, so what's the occasion?"

"Ah just wanted to get to know ya better. Ah hardly know much 'bout you, aside from yer work history, so Ah brought ya out here so mah family wouldn't snoop around in mah private time," Applejack replied.

"Oh, I see," Frostbite replied.

"So, if it ain't too much trouble, why don't ya tell me what yer family's like?" AJ said. "But if ya don't feel comfortable 'bout it, Ah understand."

"Sure, I trust you with my personal life. Okay, here it goes," Frostbite cleared his throat before he began his story. "You see, AJ, my family's been looking out for me for as long as I can remember, though they do have their flaws. For instance, last year, in 2019, life was pretty sour with me and it drove me pretty insane."

"Oh mah," AJ said, already feeling concerned.

"I've been losing friends left and right, my social media was constantly blowing up with lots of hateful comments about me, so… I wanted to set myself free. But there were two people at the time who tried their best to help me in my darkest hour, even when I had given up and refused to listen to them. I even… attempted the biggest mistake of my life," Frostbite said solemnly, softly rubbing his neck.

"Mah god, why would ya do that?" AJ asked, grabbing his hand.

"Because back then, I felt like the whole world was against me. But I was rehabilitated and within a month with the help of my family and friends, I was able to regain my life. I'm still struggling though, but as long as I have my friends, my mom, dad and my brother with me, I'm finally happy for the first time," Frostbite replied with a calm smile.

AJ lowered her hat out of respect for her friend's story. "Ah'm happy ya feel better now. But how'd ya escape death?" she asked.

"My friend found me hanging in my room and took me to the hospital. He also had a friend who talked to me on social media. He talked to me like I had a purpose in life. He said I was more valuable than I thought. He's a real pal for chatting with me and so was my other friend for rushing me to the hospital," Frostbite explained.

"Thank goodness. Ain't no one you can count on better than yer friends an' family. whether ya got many or a few friends, they'll always be there fer ya," AJ said as a single tear fell from her cheek and still kept that beautiful smile.

"Order up, one orange soda and a Coke," the waitress said, handing them their drinks. "So, have you decided on what you want to order?"

"Eeyup. Ah'll have the special one-pound burger with secret sauce an' make it a combo," Applejack replied, rubbing her empty stomach.

"And I'll have the triple hot dog meal with chili cheese fries on the side," Frostbite replied.

"Okay then, I'll have your meals ready in just a few minutes," afterwards, the waitress left their table and went back behind the counter. Now having their privacy once again, AJ got more curious of what else happened to Frostbite.

"Ah hope Ah don't sound insensitive asking this, but who turned against ya?" AJ asked.

"Nearly all of my friends. I… I even had a few girlfriends, but none of them worked out. I just kept… falling for the wrong girl.” Frostbite said with a sad look on his face. “Those were some very bad times.”

"Ah see. Ah'm mighty sorry they weren't the right ones," AJ said regretfully. “Ah brought ya down,” 

"It's okay. I've moved on. But anyways, AJ… is it okay if I tell you something?" he asked.

"Of course, anythin'," she nodded after taking a sip from her orange soda.

Frostbite cleared his throat, trying to shake off his nerves. 'Okay, this is it. Don't get cold feet on her now,' he thinks to himself. "Umm, AJ? Do you remember when umm… I, uh… tried to talk to you that one time, but ended up taking off?"

"Yeah, Ah remember it as plain as day, but why bring that up?" she asked.

"Well, you see… I was… I was… I was trying to ask you out to the prom, but I lost the nerve to ask you, so I just ran," Frostbite said. "I-I’m very sorry about that. I was afraid that you would reject me. The reason why I wanted to ask you because… I started to fall in love with you. Ever since High school I admired you and how you always work so hard for your friends and family. You have such beautiful peachy skin, it makes me want to hug you in comfort whenever you’re feeling down and depressed. Your beautiful shiny, green eyes are making me feel safe whenever I’m around you. And your soft, long blonde hair fits you perfectly with your cowgirl hat. So what I’m trying to say is: I love you, Applejack."

Applejack's eyes widened from his confession. Her cheeks turned bright red and her eyes looked downwards with that beautiful smile still on her face. "Well shucks, no one's ever said that to me. Ah'm mighty glad ya feel that strongly towards me, Frostbite."

"And, I was hoping that maybe whenever you're not busy we can… go out on more dates?" Frostbite asked, his heart racing.

The farm girl, gave him a sincere smile and placed both her hands on his. “I would like that very much, Sugarcube.” As she said that, she leaned in close to Frostbite and gently pressed her lips onto his. Frostbite's mind exploded like the 4th of July. He had just gotten a kiss from the girl of his dreams and all he could think of to say in his head was 'SCORE!!!'

Once they seperated, AJ got up from her seat and sat down next to Frostbite. "If we're gonna be datin', it's only natural fer couples to sit together," she said. Frostbite felt even more happy than before and held AJ's hand. She didn't object and leaned into his shoulder.

As the new couple enjoyed each other's company, the waitress came back, carrying plates with the food they’ve ordered. She noticed that Applejack and Frostbite were now sitting next to each other and she knew why. She felt happy that the two found each other and placed their food neatly on their table. “Enjoy your food you two,” she said before leaving the couple alone again.

Frostbite and Applejack kindly thanked the waitress before they began eating. Frostbite's luck had finally gotten better now that he has his cute farmgirl by his side.

It had been a month since AJ agreed to be Frostbite's girlfriend. During that time period, they went on three more dates. On their first official date, they took a nice stroll in the park, enjoying the fresh breeze as it brushed against their skin and their hair. Frostbite had abandoned his shyness and would hold hands with AJ throughout their entire stroll. When they needed a break from walking, they stopped for a little break at a pond and skipped stones.

AJ's stones skipped the farthest, but Frostbite didn't mind. He knew she had a good arm with all the back-breaking work she puts in on a regular daily basis. At one point, they even rested underneath a tree and had AJ resting her head on his lap. Frostbite kept telling her how cute she looked doing that. He hadn't seen AJ blush so much since he first asked her out.

On their 2nd date, they headed for one of the hills that towers over the whole city. On this particular hill, it had a tree and the weather was perfect for a nice little picnic. AJ brought along some tasty apple dishes and Frostbite brought along some hot dogs and a couple of bottles of fresh cold water. AJ also brought along some apple cider in case they wanted something with some flavor.

Frostbite loved seeing his girlfriend pig out on the tasty food. Luckily, he also had his fill and teased AJ about how she looks like a guinea pig the way she stuffs her cheeks like that. He thought it was so cute, he even kissed her. She didn't mind the kiss, but she got really embarrassed when he brought up that guinea pig bit.

And lastly, on their 3rd date, AJ drove Frostbite down to the lake early in the morning for a good ol' fashioned fishing trip. Frostbite wasn’t much of a fisher but he did manage to catch a small fish that was as big as his hand. AJ, on the other hand, who's probably done this more times than he did, caught a giant one that was half her height. Frostbite was impressed, but also envied her talents. AJ lifted his spirits by offering a few tips so he can catch his own big fish.

Frostbite accepted her offer and with time, learned the ropes. By the time the sun was barely coming up, Frostbite landed himself a fish that was just as big as AJ's. She appreciated how much of a fast learner he was, but he kept it modest, saying it was just beginner's luck. Whether it was true or not, they still got to catch some tasty fish that'll last them for days… or weeks.

Those three dates were the best dates they ever had. Though as of right now, it was a busy day at Sweet Apple Acres and Frostbite was doing his usual work routine around the farm. However, he recently noticed that Applejack seemed to be acting weird. While he was turning his back at her for picking all the apples from the tree, he could hear his girlfriend giggle a couple of times. And as a bonus, he noticed she was talking to someone on the phone, preferably one or some of the girls she hangs out with.

He trusts Applejack plenty to know she's always faithful to him and wouldn't go behind his back with some other guy. She even said so herself and her family knows she's an honest and faithful girl, too. So what exactly was she talking about on the phone yesterday?

Well, whatever it was, he'd rather not invade her privacy. “Maybe, I can ask her about it later. I can’t help but think that she’s up to something.” Frostbite scratched his chin while thinking. His thoughts were interrupted when his phone started vibrating again in his pocket.

“Not again!” Frostbite sighed. It was again that unknown number that called him each day. "Ugh, that's it, you leave me no choice," going to ‘settings’ on his phone he selected the unknown number and blocked it for good. “There, no more stalking me!” He smirked satisfied and went back to picking up apples again.

“Sugarcube, you ok?” Applejack walked up to him. “I heard ya growlin’ there fer a second. Did somethin’ happened to ya?”

“Nothing to worry about, my Apple Dumpling. Just some bonehead on the phone who keeps trying to call me, but I blocked them," Frostbite replied.

"Alrighty then, carry on then," AJ said as she pecked him on the cheek, then went back to work, harvesting more apples. 

The rest of the day went by pretty slowly with Frostbite's mind still focused on AJ's recent behavior and that phone call. But when it was time to go, AJ went to see him off. Every day when his work shift would end, AJ would give him a hug and kiss goodbye. This time, after their lips parted, AJ was about to head back to the house when suddenly…

"AJ, wait. Before you go, I need to ask you something," Frostbite said.

"Sure thing, Sugarcube. Whatcha need?" AJ asked.

"It's uh… it's about your phone call. I know you were talking to one of your friends or some of them, but what was that about?" 

"Oh, that? You'll find out sooner or later. Ah'd rather not say. Ya do respect that, right?"

"Sure, I can respect that. You have a nice night, my Apple Dumpling," Frostbite gave her soft cheeks a little squeeze, making her blush and giggle. 

“You too, Sugarcube,” Applejack said before giving him another sweet kiss on the lips. “Drive home safe, I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“I will, I promise,” Frostbite assured his lover and stepped into his car and drove off. 

AJ waved him goodbye until the lights of his car disappeared behind the hill. Applejack smiled as she watched her boyfriend leave. "Frostbite, ya sure know how to make a gal feel special. Ah can't wait fer the day when ya get yer reward," she says to herself.

Applejack then headed back into the house, soon getting teased once more by her little sister. "So, Applejack, what's the story with you and yer boyfriend? Yer keepin' secrets from him an' Ah wanna know what it is. Ya planning' a special honeymoon fer him?" Applebloom asked.

"Now, Applebloom. It ain't polite to go snoopin' in on other people's relationships. Ya don't see me bein' all nosey and what-not towards ya, do ya?" AJ asked.

“Oh yeah?” Applebloom remarked. “Remember when ya told me Ah could do the chores the entire afternoon alone and you kept coming back to keep an eye on me because you thought I couldn’t do it?”

"That's family business, relationships are different. Besides, if Ah recall, ya botched on the chores twice in a row last week durin' the weekend to hang out with yer friends at the mall," Applejack said.

"Hey, Ah got a life outside the apple farm, too. Is it so bad that Ah have a little bit o' freedom?" Applebloom asked. Before things could escalate any further…

"What in tarnation are you two arguin' about?" Pear's voice called out. The apple sisters turned towards their mother, who had a towel hanging around her neck, wearing nothing but a white tank top that showed off her impressive rack and tight jean shorts. The girls could tell their mom was about to head into the shower.

"Just tryin' to keep Applebloom outta mah business. Kept pesterin' me 'bout mah boyfriend,” Applejack explained.

Frowning, Pear looked at her youngest daughter. “Applebloom, Ah expected better from ya. You’re a young lady now so Ah want ya to behave more like it. Respect your sister's privacy like we respect yers. Ya don’t hear us questioning ya all over about yer crush, Tender Taps."

"Oh alright, Ma," Applebloom said, crossing her arms and puffing her cheeks out adorably. The young lady then headed off to her room while Applejack sighed, watching her sister walk off.

"Ah guess she couldn't resist teasing me a little about my boyfriend's surprise.” AJ scratched the back of her head. “She may be growing up but she’s still that curious little girl I remember from back at CHS.”

“Don’t let it bother ya, Sweetie,” Pear walked over to her and rubbed AJ’s back softly. “Ah think she’s just a little jealous and she’s venting it out by teasing you and Big Mac a little.”

Applejack raised an eyebrow at her mother. “Why?”  

“Ah, Sweetie don’t you see?” Pear smiled at her daughter. “Ya have Frostbite, good ol' Big Mac has Sugarbelle. But Applebloom has no one yet. She’s the only one left without a lover.”

“Ow, Ah guess Ah hadn’t thought of that.” 

“It’s alright Sweetie. Maybe her friend Tender Taps might be the one.”

“Ah pray that yer right Ma,” AJ replied.

“Ah know Ah’m right,” as she made her way down the hall. “Could ya do me a favor and set the table fer me while Ah hit the showers, please?”

“Will do, Ma.” AJ made her way to the cupboard to take the plates.

Applejack walked over to the dining room table and cleaned it off before heading into the kitchen and taking out some plates, cutlery, and cups. After she set them up, she headed upstairs towards her room and took off her clothes.

"Hoo-wee, Ah'm gonna need to take a double shower if Ah wanna wash off the stink completely. Don't want mah family or Frostbite catching a whiff o' me right now," AJ said.





Later on during the night, Frostbite had finished his usual shower and dinner routine and was heading off to bed. Climbing into his bed, wearing only his sweat pants and a black tank top, he covered himself up in the blankets, giving his tired muscles a good rest. Work had wiped him out and easily helped him fall asleep.

Moments later, he wound up in the dreamland, drifting endlessly through a golden cloudy paradise like it was heaven. Suddenly, out in the distance, a beautiful light shines brightly and a silhouette makes itself known. Frostbite could make out the shape of a very beautiful woman.

The silhouette grew closer until he realized that it was his lovely apple dumpling, AJ, but she was completely naked and looked at him with her alluring gaze.

Blushing, seeing his girlfriend completely naked in front of him, Frostbite covered his eyes, trying to respect her privacy. He felt her soft hands lowering his, smiling at him and telling him that it’s ok. Smiling back at her, Frostbite leaned in for a kiss. 

AJ more than just gave kissed him, she added some tongue. Her breasts pressed up to his chest and she got all handsy with him. Frostbite decided to get handsy AJ, groping her soft, apple butt. She moaned in his ear and reached down in his sweats, pulling out his erect shaft and stroking him.

It might be a dream, but it felt so real for Frostbite as he enjoyed this intimate moment between him and Applejack. She then leaned down to face his large member. He sighs and follows his girlfriend and the two soon walk up to the cabin, which Frostbite thought might've been the owner's office. She knocks on the door and waits for an answer.

"Who is it?" asked a female voice.

"Guess he's still keepin' busy after he an' Twilight broke up," AJ said.

Sunset walked over to them, “It seems that the Apple family has treated you well.”  

"In a way, the Apple Family makes me feel like I belong. And it's nice to see you here, Sunset." Frostbite said.

“Same to you, Frostbite,” Sunset chuckled. 

"By the way, why didn't you bring Flash? Did you guys break up, too?" he asked.

"Guess you don't know either. I know Flash and I had some history before, but I didn't like him that way. We never got back together since we're still just friends. Besides, he's dating someone else right now. Some rich girl named Serene Grace. She was a bit of a brat, but he changed her ways for the better," Sunset said.

"Oh, I see. Well, good for him. Anyways, I'm glad to see you all here," Frostbite said.

Principal Celestia stepped forward this time. “It’s also great to see you again, Frostbite,” placing her hand on his shoulder, “I see that you’ve grown into an amazing young man.”

"A lot can change in a year, Celestia. But you, you're still as beautiful as ever. How is CHS doing these days?" Frostbite asks.

"It's fine. We've got a couple of promising students, but CHS hasn't been the same since you or any of my other students graduated. Luna sends her greetings and hopes you’re doing well but by the looks of it, you’ve done pretty well for yourself since you and Applejack are together now and are very happy,” she winked. 

“Thank you, Celestia. I’m very happy with my girlfriend,” he then grabbed AJ’s hand. “And I don’t know where I’ll be without her.” 

"Spare me all the mushy details. Some of us prefer the more awesome approach when it comes to dating, lover boy," Indigo Zap said.

"But I thought you didn't have a boyfriend, Indigo," Derpy said, stroking her own chin, thinking. The former CPA hothead shushed Derpy, but it was all in vain.

"You weren't supposed to say that in front of him!" Indigo whispered loudly.

"It's no big deal, Indigo. Look at me, Sunset and Pinkie Pie. We don't have boyfriends and we're doing okay," Twilight said.

"If we're done talking about relationships, how about we get ready for breakfast?" Pinkie suggests, rubbing her empty belly.

“I’m with Pinkie,” Frostbite agreed. “I haven’t eaten anything yet.,” his stomach started rumbling.

“Me too,” Applejack added.

"Did someone say "breakfast?" Gloriosa chimed in, coming back out. She had two big plates in her hands, walking over to the bench and setting them down. Frostbite and the girls all help her with the other plates of food she's cooked. Thanks to their help, the table was all set up and ready for everyone to chow down.

Gloriosa even sat down with her friends, on the opposite side from where Frostbite sat. For today's menu, she cooked up some tasty link sausages, crispy bacon strips, different kinds of eggs ranging from scrambled, sunnyside up, hardboiled and over easy. She also made some hash browns, pancakes, and french toast. She even brought some orange juice, apple juice, and water to wash it all down.

"Thank you, Frostbite. When I say I’ll make breakfast I try to make it the best breakfast anyone has ever had. I got this!” She grinned happily at him.

“Oh, don’t worry. I’ve learned my lesson well after my… transformation.” 

"Good. I'm happy to hear that. So what have you girls been up to?" Frostbite asked.

"Well, I've been looking into furthering my education. So, I applied at Canterlot University. The campus is not far away, but I still needed a place to stay since I couldn't live at my parents' house for the rest of my life. Luckily, Sunset let me sleep at her place. "As for me, I'm working at a gym, working as an instructor. I'm helping some of the people here in Canterlot get back into shape. Not to brag or anything, but, I could whip them into shape within a week or two," Indigo said.

"Sounds like you're gonna be pretty busy if you're that confident about your training regiment," Frostbite said, quirking an eyebrow while smirking.

"So, why don't you tell us about yourself, Frostbite? What have you been doing since you graduated high school?" Celestia then asked.

"I work at Sweet Apple Acres now. I've been working there for about a month now. AJ and I have been taking it one step at a time with our dates. We see each other every day, we've even been able to clean out nearly the entire orchard," Frostbite said.

“And the season’s not over yet. I hate to admit it but that’s impressive,” Indigo said.

"But wait, if you've been working at Sweet Apple Acres for a month, what happened at your previous job?" Twilight asked.

"I can plan a vacation anytime, but my students come first. And aside from the other people who need it more than I do, I've got some… personal plans coming up in a couple of weeks," Celestia explained.

"Sounds like those plans are gonna be big," AJ said, winking at Celestia. She caught onto AJ, knowing what exactly those plans were. But they didn't spoil it and just went back to eating. 

Frostbite's taste buds were singing from the delicious spread Gloriosa prepared. 

“I have to say, Gloriosa,” Frostbite said before taking a bite from his plate of scrambled eggs. “This is really delicious.” 

“Why, thank you, deary,” Gloriosa replied while trying to hide her blush. “I don’t get many compliments from our campers about my cooking skills. It’s nice to hear it that I’m doing a splendid job with that as well.”

"If I was a man, I'd want to marry you," Derpy said innocently before taking another bite.

Gloriosa giggled at Derpy's sweetness while blushing even more. "You're so sweet."

“Thank you, Gloriosa,” Derpy smiled from her compliment but frowned and looked down. “I just wish others could see through my clumsiness and how much of a sweet girl I am.”

“Well, I think you’re cute and beautiful as well, Derpy,” Frostbite chimed.

Derpy looked up at him in surprise. “R-really?”

"Sure. Everyone here thinks you're beautiful, myself included," Frostbite said.

“Totally!”

“Yipperdippers!” everyone at the table said in agreement, turning Derpy’s face into a dark shade of red.

“Thank you,” She managed to say.

“So, tough guy,” Indigo then spoke up. “Were you always this muscled or do you any kind of sports?”

"I did use to be a basketball player and I'm a strong swimmer. I don't usually talk about my best traits because people will just think I'm bragging," Frostbite said.

“It’s fine, dude. You’re not bragging at all,” Indigo assured. 

"Aside from building muscles, I needed to build up stamina, which is why I ran laps around the football field and jogged to school from home and vice versa," Frostbite said.

“You’re still running laps? Because I do! Whenever I’m free, I run a few laps around the giant pond in the park.” Indigo said.

"On the weekends, I do. But during the weekdays, I get more than enough of a workout at Sweet Apple Acres. When I have time off, I usually jog a few laps around the city before I have a nice breakfast," Frostbite said.

"An early riser, huh? AJ's really rubbing off on you. She's very lucky," Sunset said, winking to Applejack, who winked back.

As they continued to enjoy themselves and were almost finished, the group suddenly heard the sound of cars coming their way. "You expecting any more guests, Gloriosa?" Frostbite asked.

"No, aside from you and AJ being here for the day, it was only supposed to be the girls and me for the entire weekend," Gloriosa explained. Moments later, the group sees 4 cars pulling up into the driveway and park by the entrance. Gloriosa goes over to check what's going on with these uninvited guests.

By the time she got there, the first two faces caught Frostbite's eyes. But seeing them also made his smile vanish. "Oh no… not them again," he said in a low tone.

"What's the matter?" Applejack asked.

"Stay here, Apple Dumpling. I've got some business to take care of," Frostbite said, standing up and approaching the uninvited guests. Right away, one of the people, who was a woman, runs up to him and tries to hug him.

"BABY!!!" the woman called out, but Frostbite stepped out of the way. "Hey, what's the matter, aren't you happy to see your girlfriend again?"

"After you girls cheated on me, used me for my money and pre-judged me without even giving me a 2nd glance, do you take me for, a fool?" Frostbite asked, crossed.

"Frostbite, what's goin' on? Who are these gals?" Applejack asked, running up to her boyfriend.

"They're my ex-girlfriends. Girls I dated back when I was still in high school. I made the mistake of falling in love with them because of the shit they put me through, along with their boyfriends. Especially that dipshit, racist narcissist, Seth Cooper," Frostbite had his fists clenched when he said that name.

Applejack raised an eyebrow in surprise and glanced at the group of girls. She already felt mad by just looking at them. Those girls were nothing but trouble. “Ah suggest y'all go back in yer cars and leave Frostbite alone. He made his choice and y’all should respect that,” she said.

"And who are you to talk to us like that, lil' miss cowgirl?" Sarah asked, mocking AJ's accent.

"Ah happen to be Frostbite's girlfriend, Applejack. An' unless ya want trouble, y'all will take yer hoity-toity asses outta here as fast as possible. Ain't no lousy, lyin', low-down, four-flushin' gals are gonna come between me an' mah man," she said, clinging to Frostbite's arm like the faithful girl she always will be to Frostbite.

"Excuse me? Frostbite, you'd choose that little fruitcake over us? And I thought we had something special," Sarah pouted.

"So did I. But when you and the others walked out on me, I opened up my eyes and I finally saw the truth. You never cared about me, you were just looking out for yourselves. And I mean this in the most honest of ways, you girls are a bunch of bitches who only care about your self-images. If you had half a brain, you'd have taken a page from AJ's book to know what a true girlfriend should be like to her boyfriend!" Frostbite chewed out.

"Amen to that," AJ agreed. Just then the doors from the drivers seats and front passenger seats from each of the cars opened, revealing the new boyfriends of Frostbite’s exes: George Mendoza, Timothy Warner, Miguel Castillo and frigging, Sean Cooper. All walking up to their girlfriends and glaring at Frostbite and Applejack.

"Hey, you got some nerve talking to our girls like that. Still the same mouthy little shit since high school, no doubt. You autistic people are what's wrong with this world," Seth Cooper said.

"Excuse me?" AJ asked, getting pissed with the guy for insulting her boyfriend like that.

“That so eh?” Frostbite smirked and crossed his arms at them. “If they’re still your girls then why would they want me back? Maybe you guys are just terrible boyfriends or maybe you all are just a bunch of nitwits who can't think before opening your mouths,” he remarked.

"The fuck did you just say?" Seth asked, grabbing the collar of Frostbite's shirt. Frostbite then takes him by surprise, uppercutting Seth on the chin and knocking him back onto his ass.

"Don't you dare fucking touch me, you little shit!" Frostbite snapped in a low tone.

“Or what else? Is your girlfriend gonna-” Before Seth could finish his sentence, Frostbite spat in into Seth’s mouth. Immediately, Seth turned on his hands and knees and tried to spat Frostbite’s saliva out of his mouth. "Boys… get him."

Right away, the other guys, George, Timothy and Miguel surrounded him on all four sides, cutting him off from Applejack. Big mistakes on their parts. Soon, the other girls arrived to back up Applejack and pulled the guys away from Frostbite.

"Hey! No one messes with our friend's boyfriend!" Indigo Zap said, keeping a firm grip on George's shirt collar. "Girls, what do you say we put all that martial arts practice to good use on these little shits?"

"I couldn't agree more. It's been a long time since I showed my meaner side," Sunset said, cracking her knuckles.

“Are you kidding? Those big meanies broke poor Frosty’s heart and now are going to hurt him again? They are sooooo going down!!! LET'S LIGHT 'EM UP, LADIES!!!” Pinkie Pie yelled, determined, more pissed than when Applejack nearly broke the ‘Pinkie Promise’.

Right away, Indigo pulled George away and sure enough, thud noises and punches landing could be heard. Pinkie Pie got her hands on Timothy, throwing him everywhere and messing him up real good.

Sunset had her hands on Miguel, knee-kicking him in the crotch and then tossing him over her shoulders before kicking him in the solar plexus. AJ was about to take on Seth, but then Sarah, Katie, Jenny, and Ashlynn stopped her by ambushing her and holding Applejack back.

"Hey, let her go!" Twilight yelled.

"Make us, bitch," Jenny sassed.

"Oh, I'll make you, alright!" Twilight said. Derpy and Gloriosa also stepped in and helped get Frostbite's exes off of her. With everyone occupied except for Seth Cooper, Frostbite cracked his knuckles and slowly walked up to Seth. Seth also got up and walked towards Frostbite.

"Was my saliva delicious? I can give you a second round if you want,” Frostbite grinned at Seth.

“You’re dead!” Seth snapped and punched Frostbite angrily into his stomach. He felt that blow, but it was nothing compared to the emotional pain he inflicted on Frostbite. Frostbite grabs Seth's arm and twists it before slamming his fist on it hard, making Seth yell out in agony. He then grabs him by the hair and lays another knuckle sandwich right on his jaw, knocking him back on his ass.

But Seth was far from done with him. Entangling Frostbite's legs with his own, he turns and makes Frostbite lose his balance and fell on the ground. Seth leaps on top of him to punch him consecutively, but most of the punches are blocked by Frostbite's cross-armed block and he bobs and weaves to avoid any serious damage.

He then catches one of Seth's fists and punches him back, but is unable to get up on his feet, still being trapped in a leg lock.

"You're gonna have to hit a lot harder than that if you're ever gonna get rid of me, loser!" Seth said, throwing some more punches.

"Then, how about I lay out the big guns, ya fucktard sack o' shit!" Frostbite snapped, landing a punch on Seth's nose, getting him to back off. Frostbite used this advantage to switch until he was on top and bashed Seth with a nasty barrage of punches to the face. He laid it on him so much, Seth was starting to bleed. Frostbite stopped soon after Seth's legs loosened.

Frostbite got up, panting, seeing how much he brutalized Seth. He had a black eye on his left eye, which was also swollen shit. His nose and mouth had blood trickling out of them. "If you ever… show up in my life again… I'll kill you," Frostbite said between breaths.

However, Seth couldn't hear him since he was unconscious. Frostbite then looked to check on how the other girls were holding up. Thankfully, they managed to take down Frostbite's exes and their boyfriends. Frostbite carried Seth's unconscious body and set him down with the others while Celestia walked up to them with a stern look.

If there was anyone these uninvited guests were afraid of, it was Principal Celestia, even if they were high school graduates. "You all disappoint me with your actions. When you girls and your so-called boyfriends graduated, I thought you'd make something of yourselves. And it seems you did: you made fools of yourselves. And worst of all, you had the nerve to make one of your ex-boyfriend's life miserable. It's obvious you girls have no sense of dignity in you."

"Only caring about money, going out with the biggest jerks in the world and while you were still with someone else, you girls are even worse than whores, you're just a bunch of sluts," Sunset Shimmer pointed out.

"And do you have any idea how much pain you've inflicted on Frostbite? Not to mention how much grief your boyfriends gave him as well?" Twilight asked.

"I doubt it. They ain't got the hearts or souls of a real girlfriend and that's coming from a former Crystal Prep student who's been single all her life. Now take a hike and haul your stupid boyfriends out of here!" Indigo said.

"An' one more thing," AJ said. "If y'all ever come after mah boyfriend again, y'all are gonna wish ya never been born." her voice got low when she threatened them. This scared the girls and guys as they all ran back to the parking lot with Seth being carried away. He wondered if somehow, AJ's family had planned all of this from the start. So one day, when they all came home, he asked them if it was their plan to get him and AJ alone together. Pear Butter couldn't be more obvious when she gave a sly smirk.

Bright Mac was an open book and admitted that his oldest daughter should have some alone time with Frostbite. Granny Smith even approved of this decision since she knows her own grandchildren were growing up.

Life certainly had become wonderful for Frostbite. Even after that heavenly orgy he still can’t believe that he had won the hearts of so many amazing women. Every day when he woke up, he was always smiling. He assumed Pinkie’s mission: making everyone smile’ had something to do with it.

Sometimes when he gets home from work he’s greeted by Pinkie and Derpy, covered in chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Teasing Frostbite by skipping his dinner and immediately starting with dessert. Indigo visits sometimes as well to escape from her dad’s reign whenever he wants her to try on some of those girly froufrou stuff. Frostbite was happy to oblige and they sometimes go to the fitness together for a good workout which ended with steamy moments in the shower. Sunset and Twilight sometimes invited Frostbite over to help them with ‘their study session’ at Twilight’s home.

Every now and then Frostbite comes to CHS to give the senior students a presentation on what they should do after graduation. But secretly, he would visit Celestia in her office for some private time and even help her to get rid of some stress. Though at one point, she almost got caught by her little sister, Luna. She can be scary sometimes, even Frostbite thought so, too. Gloriosa once visited CHS to announce the students about their yearly trip to Camp Everfree when Frostbite was there as well. It was a heavenly threesome that day, in Tia’s office.

But Gloriosa surprised him the most when she stood naked in his kitchen, preparing breakfast for them on his days off, wearing nothing but an apron for him. Frostbite couldn't help himself but give her a big sausage for breakfast and Gloriosa loved his big, juicy sausage.

Ever since these girls had come into his life, he's felt his whole world go from bad to better. It's like life has done a 180 in his favor. Now a part of him wanted to pay his girlfriends back for all the good they've done for him. So, one day, he gave Applejack a call to have her invite all of the other girls over to his house. Nothing wild like last time, just a nice, normal get-together with some pizza, snacks and watch some movies. She agreed and would arrange a date for the other girls to come over. 

Another week goes by and another weekend is starting again. AJ and the others were heading off to Frostbite's house. Frostbite had finished ordering some pizza over the phone and was about to get one of his snacks out.

He heads into the kitchen and opens up the pantry, taking out a bag of Doritos and barbequed potato chips, bringing them into the living room. With some time on his hands, he took it upon himself to clean up the house a little bit. Frostbite sometimes thought about how much of an idiot he felt when he ran out on AJ during high school. It still bugged him that he never got the chance to dance with her and probably never will. On the bright side, at least he has her now as his girlfriend.

Getting back to the business at hand, he resumed cleaning up his house, getting the dishes washed up, his clothes put away and a little vacuuming here and there. This all took a mere 15 minutes before there was a knock on the door. Frostbite jumped up from his couch and ran over to the door, opening it up. AJ, Twilight, Sunset, Pinkie, Celestia, Derpy, Gloriosa Daisy, and Indigo were all present and accounted for. 

"Good to see you girls. Come on in, I've got some snacks ready and a lot of movies to choose from to start off our night," Frostbite said happily, letting his ladies in before closing the door. Frostbite saw in Pinkie's hands a couple of snacks she brought along with her. "Good thinking there, Pinkie. The more snacks, the better," he said. Pinkie smiled at him and squeed, almost killing him with her cuteness.

"Only the yummiest treats for my man," Pinkie cutely replied. 

“Aw, you really shouldn’t have,” Frostbite winked at her. “As long as I can share them with you and the others, because I can’t eat all that by myself.”

“Of course, silly-willy! You also brought enough sweets and treats for everyone!” Pinkie pulled another giant bag of snacks out her poofy hair this time, all filled with chips, muffins, and other delicious junk food.

"Muffins!!!" Derpy called out, cupping her cheeks and smiling like a kid in an ice cream parlor. "How'd you know I love muffins so much?" she asked.

"You used to bring muffins with you to school, whether it was during lunch or other periods. It's not all that hard to deduce how much you love them, Derpy." Sunset pointed out.

“Not to mention that Pinkie Pie has a secret chamber where she keeps all her files from everyone she’s ever met with all the things they like for their parties.” Twilight added, “It’s really fascinating that she knows all this about us when you think about that.” 

“Does that mean she also has a file about me?” Frostbite whispered at Twilight.

"Yup-a-roonie!" Pinkie popped out of nowhere, spooking Frostbite.”I also have files of Principal Celestia, Vice-Principal Luna and from everyone at Crystal Prep!”

“No wonder my last birthday party was amazing!” Indigo realized, before taking a Dorito. ”You had it all arranged that day, my favorite music, snacks, drinks, and all my friends were there.” 

"That's our Pinkie Pie for you. The gal knows how to get the job done," AJ commented. "So, Frostbite, when's the pizza gonna get here?"

"In another 10 minutes. While we wait, how about I put on a movie for us? I've got my combo VCR/DVD Player up and ready," Frostbite said.

"Wonderful! I've been wanting to watch a good movie from time to time," Gloriosa said delighted.

"In that case, why don't we all start with a timeless classic movie like Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey" Frostbite said.

"Really? That's one of my favorite movies!" Celestia said joyously. "It's been a while since I've watched such a touching movie."

"Same here. I have a soft spot for animals as well as my own camp," Gloriosa said.

"Speaking of camp, is your brother looking after it while you're away?" Sunset asked.

"Yup, but there's no need to worry. He's getting a little help from his brand new girlfriend," Gloriosa replied.

"Whoa, he's with someone else now? I didn't know that, who is his new girlfriend? What's she like and how'd they meet?" Frostbite asked.

"I forgot her name, but just between us, she used to date some random guy who treated her like shit and only cared about his video games. Thankfully, after she broke up with the guy and her father beating him up, she found love with my brother. I've never seen any couple so happy before in my life," Gloriosa explained.

"Aww, that's sweet. Well, if you see him, can you tell him I send my best wishes to him and his new girlfriend, please?" Twilight asked. 

"Of course, I'll give him the message," Gloriosa said.

"If you guys are done chit-chatting about boyfriends and girlfriends, I'd like to get on with the movie, please." Indigo chuckled. Everyone agreed and huddled up on the couch or sat down in front of it while Frostbite started the movie. Once it started, Frostbite and his lovers munched on some of their snacks. AJ made herself comfortable, cuddling up closer to her boyfriend and rested her head on his shoulder. 

A couple minutes later, another knock on the door was heard. Frostbite got up from his seat and walked over, opening up the front door. The pizza delivery guy finally arrived and Frostbite paid the man in cash before taking his pizzas and bag of soda. He walked over to the girls and set the pizzas down on the coffee table along with the sodas.

"Who's hungry for some pizza?" he asked eagerly.

"We are!" the girls shouted in unison. Opening up the first box, each girl got a slice of pizza, including Frostbite, leaving the box itself almost completely empty… almost. Frostbite ran into the kitchen and brought out some cups, handing them to each of his girlfriends. He then poured each of them a cup of soda of their choosing before sitting back down.

Frostbite then wrapped his arm around AJ and held her close to him. AJ inched herself in closer, wanting to feel both the soothing, comforting warmth and protection of her boyfriend. The group shared some laughs while watching the movie and eating their pizza. Then, once the movie was over, Frostbite got back up from his seat and asked his girls, "Alright, whatcha wanna watch next?"

The girls conversed with each other and all decided on watching the sequel: Homeward Bound 2. Nodding, Frostbite took out the first movie from his VCR/DVD Player, putting it back in its case before putting it away. Then he grabbed the 2nd movie from the shelf, then put it in the VCR/DVD player and was about to sit down with the others. But then, he got an idea and walked over to Applejack.

"Somethin' wrong there, sugarcube?" she asked.

"AJ, can we talk… outside for a few minutes, please?" Frostbite whispered in her ear. 

"Sure, what for?" she asked.

"I… just want to get something off my chest," he said, scratching the back of his head uncertainly.

"Well, Ah suppose it wouldn't hurt," she agreed. "we'll be right back, gals." The apple farm girl got up from her seat. The two were about to walk out the back door.

"Where are you going?" Indigo asked.

"Is there something wrong?" Celestia asked.

"We’re just heading outside. I need to talk to Applejack about something I’ve wanted to tell her for a while.”

“Alright then you two, but don’t stay out long. Or you’ll miss the best parts of the movie,”  Celestia said in understanding. 

"Don’t worry, Tia. We won’t be long." Frostbite nodded before he and AJ walked away and closed the door behind him.

Outside, they both saw the beautiful, full moon shining down on them, along with the twinkling stars, showing the amazing beauty of the nights. Frostbite grabbed AJ’s hand and guided her to his cozy hanging chair with some soft pillows on it. Sitting down, it was big enough for just the two of them. Silently they looked in each others eyes for a while, hearing the sounds of crickets in the bushes and some fireflies flying around them, created a relaxing atmosphere for the couple.

"Okay, Frostbite. Ya got me out here, so what'd ya wanna talk about?" AJ asked.

"Applejack, I've probably brought this up a million times, but I still feel like shit knowing that I never got a chance to dance with you during the senior prom. I really wanted to dance with you, but I was just too shy and scared that you might reject me. Even now, I feel stupid for running out on you like that," Frostbite said rather shamefully. 

"Aww, Frostbite, Ah'm sorry. If it helps… Ah never went to the senior prom either. Ah knew it was mostly couples who went, which is the reason why Ah stayed home. If ya'd like, we can have our own private senior prom out here. Would that make ya feel better?" she suggested. Frostbite's heart pounded when he stared into AJ's beautiful, emerald eyes. But now that he wasn't afraid anymore, he made his move.

"In that case, Applejack… would you care to dance?" he asked, extending his hand out to her.

"Frostbite… Ah thought you'd never ask," AJ replied. She accepted his hand and got in close with her boyfriend. Frostbite used his other hand to reach into his pocket and took out his phone, starting up some music before they both started their elegant dance under the glorious light of the moon. Frostbite then had both hands on his lover. One hand was holding her hand and his vacant wrapped around her, touching her back.

Applejack and Frostbite kept their eyes locked on each other, smiling warmly and passionately. AJ felt her cheeks heating up the more she stared at her handsome man. She felt like the happiest girl in the world to finally have this moment. She had only dreamt of doing something like this for a long time.

Even Frostbite could share this kind of enthusiasm with her. It was hard to imagine that she never went to the senior prom. But now, it felt like time had reversed and they felt like they were back at high school, everyone's eyes were focused on them. Smiles of approval from every direction, they were the center of attention. Both lovers still kept their eyes locked on each other, then AJ leaned her head on Frostbite's chest, nestling into him. Frostbite had never seen her look so fragile and vulnerable before and so beautiful.

This only gave him more of a reason to want to stay by her side. If he never knew or met her, he wouldn't know where his life would be heading. AJ felt this same way. All her life, she never felt or experienced the joy of finding love in another man. 

She always thought she never had what it takes to be a good girlfriend, but Frostbite proved her wrong and now she was happier than ever before. His genuine feelings for her gave her more of a reason to keep going. AJ was so happy, tears of joy ran down her cheeks. She shook a little, obviously getting Frostbite's attention. When he saw her tears, he gently wiped them away and hugged his lover just as the song ended.

The sound of small applause was heard from the nearby window. AJ and Frostbite opened their eyes and saw their lovers cheering for their amazing dance. Frostbite smiled thankfully while AJ gave a small chuckle at them.

“Ah guess we won’t have ta worry about being alone anymore, right, Sugarcube?”

“Our lives have changed, in a very amazing way, Applejack,” Frostbite said holding onto AJ's hand and keeping her close to him. “This is only just the start of our new lives together.”

“Eeyup!” AJ agreed with her lover. “An' Frostbite. There’s something Ah need to confess to you as well.”

"What is it?" Frostbite asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Ah'm embarrassed to admit it, but yer actually mah very first boyfriend. Ah never knew what it was like to be in a relationship," AJ said.

"Never in your life?" Frostbite asked surprised. AJ shook her head. "This might sound messed up, but why didn't you have a previous boyfriend? You're beautiful, honest and you work hard."

"Ah know an' Ah appreciate how highly ya think o' me, but not a lot o' boys were into me, seeing how mah strength was too intimidatin' fer them. It was extremely hard fer a gal like me to find the right man," AJ said.

"I see. Well, it's their loss and my gain. If it makes you feel better, I like a girl who's got a little bit of muscle on her and I was fortunate enough to bring you into my life, my sweet apple dumbling. If the other guys can't see past what's on the surface, it's their fault for not giving you a chance," Frostbite said.

"Aww, that's mighty sweet o' ya to say that, Frostbite. Ya sure know how to make a gal feel special when she's feelin' fragile," AJ said. "Believe it or not, no guy's ever made me feel this fragile or vulnerable except you. An' ya made me feel protected, even if I can handle mahself sometimes, Sugarcube. Mah family was right to trust you with me."

"I should be thanking you, too, AJ. If I never had met you, I'd probably still be looking for a job and Seth and his gang would have beaten me up. Not even my own family would do anything to help me. Meeting you was the absolute bestest thing that's ever happened to me. And I don't want our relationship to deteriorate.”

AJ quickly placed her finger on his mouth. “Don’t think about what could’ve happened, Sugarcube. It ain’t healthy fer thinking that way. Be grateful fer the great things that did happen in yer life.”

“Like having you and the other girls as my girlfriends?” Frostbite sincerely smiled. "I'm gonna be honest, AJ, having one girlfriend would make a man happy, but having 8 of them is like dying and going straight to heaven. But no matter how many girls I've got, you'll always be my alpha female, even after I'm gone from this world."

“Thank ya, Sugarcube, now, there’s just one more thing!” She released herself from her boyfriend’s grip and took off her brown stetson hat, placing it on Frostbite’s head. “There, that makes it more official. Welcome to the family, Frostbite!”

"Heh, thanks, AJ. Now it's time for me to give you something," Frostbite placed a hand under her chin, then leaned in closer to AJ. She also leaned in close and planted her lips with his. Having finally confessed their feelings and dropping a huge weight off their shoulders, the two lovers embraced each other as the moon shined brightly upon their everlasting love. Now at long last, it seems like their broken dreams of love have finally been restored as they should always be.
