Fluttershy goes to congratulate Trixie on a perfect show. Also she plans on finally telling the magician about her crush.

Fluttershy has long had a crush on the pretty magician. But she made a plan to tell Trixie only after a perfect show. At the time that bet wasn't a risk as Trixie was a klutz. But now after a perfect show Fluttershy has to stick to her deal with herself. If she didn't stick to her plans she'd chicken out of literally anything she tries to do.

Stick To The Plan

Fluttershy hesitantly opened the door to Trixie’s dressing room, blushing as she received an excited greeting from the occupant. “Fluttershy! Did you see Trixie!? Trixie did all the tricks right and everyone applauded!” Trixie launched herself at the other girl hugging her for all she was worth.

Fluttershy blushed even brighter at the tight hug she found herself in. A bit relieved that Trixie was a slight young lady. Though Trixie was strong for her build, this level of excitement would have been dangerous from Rainbow Dash and downright deadly from Applejack. Though the excitement was warranted, it had been a long rough road for the magician but Trixie had learned her tricks eventually. Fluttershy grinned happily, this was a big night for them both. "You were perfect, Trixie."

Trixie snickered as she let go of the other girl and whirled back to her prop box. Absently putting her props away, but not making any progress in her excitement. “The great and powerful Trixie is always perfect!”

Fluttershy giggled and walked over, starting to help the over-excited magician put her props away. Grinning at the other's frantic energy. It reminded her a little of Pinkie Pie, when excited. When Trixie was calm, and one broke past that arrogance Trixie was a sweetie. Which was why Fluttershy had decided that when Trixie finally had a perfect show, she'd tell Trixie how she felt.

Fluttershy had made that promise way back in high school when she had developed a crush on the pretty magician. This was before they had even been friends. Back then she didn't ever imagine this day coming. But it was here and Fluttershy had to stick to her plans! She'd never get anything done if she chickened out. "Trixie!" Trixie raised an eyebrow at the excited tone from Fluttershy. "Uh... Well... Trixie... Your show was perfect."

Trixie nodded, chuckling gently as she stood up. "Thank you, again. Trixie never knew you were such a fan of magic shows Fluttershy."

Fluttershy's eyes widened and she blushed. "What do you mean?"

Trixie grinned as she gave a small shrug. "Trixie noticed you were at a show she didn't give you tickets to last week. Then she kept an eye out and you're around a lot."

Fluttershy bit her bottom lip. "Uh... Well... I...." Fluttershy shifted, she hadn't known that Trixie had noticed her. She'd tried to find out of the way parts of the audience to hide in.

Trixie grinned a bit wider, raising an eyebrow. "Or maybe you are a fan of a certain magician...?" Trixie grinned as she dipped a hand into her pocket. "Trixie has a surprise for you, Fluttershy." Leaning forward and raising her hand.

Fluttershy shifted back very slightly as she realized what Trixie was doing. The problem was that Fluttershy had worked up all her courage to tell Trixie and now Trixie was taking that out of her hands! Fluttershy hesitated one more moment but saw Trixie raising her hand... So Fluttershy did the only thing she could to maintain her control of the situation. She leaned forward and pressed her lips against Trixie's.

The kiss didn't last long as Fluttershy backed off quickly and Trixie simply sat there looking shocked. Fluttershy couldn't help but grin at the fact she'd surprised Trixie by beating her to the punch. That was until Fluttershy caught a flash of bright purple paper and looked down. Seeing the bright star-strewn purple tickets in Trixie's hands. "Oh dear..." Realizing she'd misread the situation Fluttershy turned and attempted to run out the door, but only lurched a foot or so as Trixie grabbed her hand.

"No you don't there, Fluttershy!" Trixie grinned a bit as Fluttershy looked over her shoulder. "If you really want to run Trixie will just catch you next time. So why put it off?" As Fluttershy still hesitated Trixie adopted a slightly gentler tone. "Trixie doesn't bite."

Fluttershy whimpered but nodded. Trixie dropped Fluttershy's hand but gave her an encouraging smile. "Come on, Fluttershy." After a few moments of silence, Trixie tried a new tact. "Trixie knows she's pretty but she's only the second prettiest girl here."

Fluttershy blinked and straightened up slightly. "Wait... So you mean..."

Trixie giggled gently. "Trixie hadn't ever actually thought about it before." Trixie couldn't stop her eyes from rolling a bit as Fluttershy looked down dejectedly. "Fluttershy, you just kissed Trixie. Don't hide now!" Trixie smiled a bit wider as Fluttershy hesitantly looked up. "There you go, Shy."

Fluttershy nervously tugged at her hair as she managed to maintain eye contact with her crush. "So... Uh... Do you feel the same?"

Trixie shook her head. "Not really, like I said the idea never even entered my head that you'd be interested. I assumed you were just waiting for Dash to make her move."

Fluttershy nodded, she'd worried she'd have been barking up the wrong tree. Despite having been ready for it, it was still disappointing. "I... I understand Trixie... Could you give me a few days? We'll still be friends I promise but... Well... I'd like to be... For a few days without you..." Fluttershy got up and started to back towards the door.

Trixie shrugged, unconcerned. "Sure thing, Fluttershy. Try to use those days to think of where we should go on our first date."

Fluttershy froze and stared. "Huh? But you said... You didn't..."

Trixie snickered a little. "Fluttershy! Life isn't like your romance novels!" Taking mercy on the poor shy girl, Trixie stepped forward, taking her hands gently. "Romance isn't about love at first sight. You're more than pretty enough for me to consider a few dates with."

Fluttershy's eyes widened and she smiled timidly, blushing in her usual fashion. "Oh! Oh! That's great Trixie!" She kicked at the ground nervously. "Sorry for jumping to conclusions...."

Trixie smiled, wrapping her arms around Fluttershy and pulling her close. "Now, let's pretend Trixie's giving you those tickets again."

"Wha...?" Fluttershy's question was interrupted by warm lips pressing against hers.
