I have been sent to Equestria as Marvel's greatest robotic villain.
They called me a monster, maybe I am one, but sometimes, in order to protect the innocent, you have to take a few drastic measures, bit that was the past, now I just want to build.
Twilight and her friends were having a tour of Canterlot Gardens, courtesy of Princess Celestia, "Over there is the statue dedicated to the me and Luna's battle with Tirek, and over ther.," Celestia said, pointing out different statues, Twilight being Twilight, was eagerly writing the information down in a notebook, Rainbow Dash had a bored look on her face, until she spotted a statue Princess Celestia didn't talk about,
"Hey Princess, what's that statue?" Rainbow Dash asked, pointing at the statue, it was hidden in a deep bush, covered in moss, bird poop and other stuff, though they can clearly see that it stood upright on two legs, a wide gaping mouth with no visible teeth, five fingers, and two head antenna on the sides of its head, Celestia upon seeing it, widen her eyes,
"That, it's nothing, now, on with the tour." she said, trying to divert their attention to something else, unfortunately, the statue had caught the attention of everyone else,
"Are you sure Princess, I mean, it looks like it could be something, after all, I've never seen it in any of my books," Twilight said.
"It looks like a minotaur, except with small horns, and a big mouth!!" Pinkie Pie said, zooming over to the statue, looking at it from every angle. Celestia sighed, before explaining,
"This statue is actually a stoned villain, a villain that should have been sent to Tartarus." this earned a few shocked looks and gasps, "This is Ultron, Lord of Death and Destruction, we do not know where he came from, all we knew is that he was very dangerous, when he first showed himself, it was during a time of war between me and my sister against Sombra, he came in from the sky and attacked Sombras army, killing them, until he fought against Sombra himself, Sombra never stood a chance, no matter what was thrown at him, he just wouldn't stop, Sombra nearly died if we hadn't intervened, that was when Sombra banished himself and the Empire for a thousand years, but Ultron didn't stop there, he kept going after others, even went after innocent ponies, dragons, Minotaurs, everything, even wiped out the Wyverns."
"That's horrible!!" Fluttershy said, tears streaming down her face,
"How did you beat him?" Applejack asked, casting a fearful look at Ultron,
"It was by mere luck that me and Tia managed to trap him and used the Elements to imprison him forever, but we casted various sealing runes to make sure he stayed imprisoned, and it seemed to work." Luna said, landing next to Pinkie and Rarity, "We won't have to ever worry about that demon ever again."
Then they heard something, it was faint but it sounded like, chuckling, then the sound of cracking could be heard, looking to the statue, Celestia and Luna's eyes widen in fear, as spider web like cracks were forming all around the body, the chuckling got louder until it turned into full blown laughter as the statue exploded causing everyone to shield themselves from the debris.
Looking at the statue only to see a metallic being standing in its place, "Ultron!!" Celestia and Luna shouted, causing the Mane 6 to stare in surprise and fear,
"Hello everyone! It is good to see your colorful faces after such a long time in stone." Ultron said, flying into the air with his foot thrusters,
"How did you escape?! We had the best of sealing spells casted on you!!" shouted Luna, horn glowing ready to cast a spell. Ultron merely laughed,
"It was quite simple really, 2 thousand years of neglect caused the spells to weaken, and Discords return weaken them even more, everything, even spells that should last a lifetime, comes to an end, it was only a matter of time before I break free. Now I can continue where I left off."
"You won't be killing anymore innocent's when I'm done with you!!" Rainbow Dash yelled, rushing at Ultron, leg outstretched for a kick, only for Ultron to grab her leg and toss her into a tree,
"Pathetic, yet so like you Rainbow Dash, rush into battle without a plan. And Twilight," Ultron fired a beam from his hand, stopping Twilights beam of magic, "So predictable. You can't beat me, I know who you are, what you can do, and your weaknesses."
"But do you know ours demon!!" Luna shouted, firing a large beam of magic at Ultron, who didn't even bother dodging nor blocking, the attack hit him head on, creating a large dust cloud. "Huzzah!! It seems he is not invincible as we thought." Luna said proudly, before laughing could be heard, as the dust cleared, it showed Ultron without as much as a scratch on him.
"Luna Luna Luna, you never change, always so confident. Yet so stupid, you did the same thing last time, you should know my body is made from the strongest metal in this world, now, ta ta." with that said, Ultron flew off into the distance, leaving a group of shocked and afraid ponies, Twilight walked up to her mentor,
"Princess, what are we going to do?" she asked, Celestia looked at her, then looked at everyone else, closing her eyes and letting out sigh,
"We are going to stop Ultron, and this time, he will fall."
Ah, the feeling of the wind brushing against my metallic body, oh how I missed this, now, my name is Tim, or better known to Sunbutt as Ultron, how I got into this position you ask, well, I was just a simple guy, going to a Con as Ultron from Avengers Assemble, the six eyed one, I saw a guy, whose costume I could care less, selling a MegaMan X beam Sabre, long story short, bought the thing wound up here. Also saw the chaos this place was in, back then, so I decided to help out, fought against Sombra, a freak of nature who bent the very fabric of reality, and Wyverns.
The rulers of this world thought what I do is evil, well, okay I wiped out the Wyverns, but they were planning on summoning a Demodragon to kill everyone, so I had no choice but to make sure no Wyvern followed in their ancestors footsteps, Wyverns are too bent on revenge, heck, even the kids murder their own parents. But enough of that, I soon saw a rock formations, landing in front of it, I pressed a specific rock causing it to sink into the rest, a boulder began to sink into the ground, walking in, magic lanterns lit up, revealing a stairway, walking down the stairs as the door closed again, I eventually reached my Batcave, seriously, there were bats on the ceiling.
Various gadgets that took months or years to make and magical items adorned the walls and floor, it was pretty small room, could fit about the Hulk, Thing, Juggernaut and Deadpool, had three tunnels, not counting the stairway, one on the left, one in the middle, and one on the right. "Honey I'm HOOOOMME!!" I shouted out,
"Welcome back sir." a voice said back, as I made my way to my work place,
"JARVIS, please bring the DUMM-E's online to help build a another Ultron body." I said,
"Yes sir," a whirring sound was heard as four robots came into view,
They grabbed tools and parts and began working on a new Ultron body, "How was your day so far sir?"
"Ah you know the usual, ponies heading for the hills at the mere sight of me, though we may need to move, the princesses know I'm free, and will send the Elements, any ideas?"
"We could move to the Griffon Kingdom, or maybe the Hippogriff lands." JARVIS responded, listing various locations,
"How about the Crystal Empire, Twilight has her wings, so it's bound to be here, Cadence could welcome us, though Shining might be a bit hostile towards me, it's still a good idea."
"Calculating welcome percentage." a screen appeared, as various scenarios began to play out. "You have a 62% chance of being attacked, a 25% chance of being welcomed, and a 13% chance of the princesses arriving right when you do."
"I like those odds, alright, Crystal Empire it is! Pack up boys! We're moving!!" I shouted out, as the DUMM-E's began loading everything into crates and heading up the middle tunnel where the transport ships are, heading over to a work table, I grabbed my Beam Sabre, and headed to control panel, "JARVIS, can you seal this place down, just in case we need a safe zone."
"Yes sir." with that, I headed for the exit, once I got outside, I flew up, and headed north, followed by three Halo Pelicans, one may not see it, but I'm smiling, look out Crystal Empire, cause you're about to be visited by the strongest being in Equestria.
As I flew with the Pelicans, my mind was filled with videos of the Main 6, how I got these you may ask, well, spy tech does wonders. I watched Twilight lift an Ursa Minor while make the wind blow on reeds, levitating a water tower into a barn while filling it with cow milk, etc etc. 'Hmmm, she must be using more magic than an adept unicorn mage. Definitely going on the 'Extremely Dangerous' list, right under Luna, that makes her number four, Luna three, Tia number two, and Pinkie Pie number one.' I thought, going over the next list, 'Dangerous yet Easy to Beat' list, Rainbow Dash is number one, Applejack second and Rarity is third, you can guess the threat level on Fluttershy.
"Sir, the Crystal Empire is three miles away." JARVIS said, snapping out of my thoughts.
"Thank you JARVIS, have the Pelicans land here, I'll go and introduce myself. If things go great, I'll call you, but if you don't hear from me in ten minutes, get out of here." I said, hearing JARVIS giving a brief 'yes sir,' as the Pelicans began their descent towards the land below, I increased my speed and blasted off towards not the gates, but the window leading into the throne room, breaking the sound barrier,I was inside the throne room. Using my hands built in jets to slow me down, I looked around, seeing the shocked faces of several Crystal Guards, Shining Armor and Cadence, "Hello your majesties, my name is Ultron, and I came here see-" I was interrupted by a powerful blast of magic hitting me square in the chest, sending me flying backwards towards a wall, well I thought it was a wall. It turned out to be a door. Too smalls to be the main doors to the throne room, sliding on my back, my head hit something. Using my six eyes, I scanned the room, seeing baby toys and books. "Huh, so I'm in that point of time." I then heard giggling followed by a slight tapping on my forehead, looking up to be face to face with the most adorable sight to be seen which is none other than Flurry Heart. She looked at me with curiosity and awe. The smile always present as she used her front hooves to tap against my mental head, almost like a drum.
Getting up in a crouching position in front of the young alicorn, I watched as she tried to grab my face, I simply booped her nose, causing her eyes to stare at her muzzle, she then giggled and tried to do the same to me. Which I let her, and when she she did, I let out a cartoon honk, causing Flurry to go into a fit of laughter. "Aren't you adorable, but I feel like I'm forgetting something."
"Get away from my daughter!!" I heard Shining yell, ah, that's what I was forgetting. Looking to Shining Armor and the rest of the Crystal Guards, Cadence was behind Shining Armor. "Or else!!" his horn glowed threatenly, but I shrugged it off.
"You would try and fire a spell at me, knowing your daughter is in harm's way. You're an idiot." I simply stated, "Don't worry, I got this." I picked up Flurry, who giggled. I booped her nose again, and handed her over to Cadence. She and everyone was confused and shocked, then walked back to my spot. "Okay, now we can start fighting." I said giving a thumbs up, even if they don't know what it means. Now, you might think, 'do I have a plan?' 'Do I think I can win?' well, I've had a plan from the start, which Cadence should start speaking now.
"Thank you. Umm, would you like to talk Mr?"
"Ultron, no Mr. makes me sound old, and yes, I would like to talk, perhaps over a cup of tea?" they nodded, and a few minutes later, I'm making tea, after it was done, I poured Shining Armor and his wife a cup, they seemed a little suspicious, but took a sip, their eyes widen then closed as they hummed in content.
"This tea is unlike any I have ever had! Where did learn to make this?" Cadence asked as Flurry tried to grab the cup with her magic, only for her magic to grab a rattle with bells in it.
"It's actually a herb that a Zebrican shaman gave me, it soothes the throat and removes any exhaustion one may have, along with removing a few minor illness, now, I believe we should get to the matter at hand or hoof in your case."
"Yes, so Ultron was It? Why are you here? And are you really the Ultron? As in Ultron the Lord of Death and Destruction?" Cadence asked, fear in her voice.
"And the very one who wiped out the Wyverns, Lord of Death and Destruction, not really. More like Hunter of Evil." I said calmly, too calm if I was in their place,
"So why are you here?! Are you here to kill more innocents?!" Shining Armor said, anger in his voice while his horn glowed threateningly and a few guards grabbed their weapons.
"Nope. And not one of my targets were innocent, many of them had committed murder and other horrible crimes that shall not be mentioned, and need I remind most ponies that the Wyverns were a horrible race that planned on summoning a Demodragon in order to wipe out all life, even each other, so yeah, pretty sure my 'crimes' were actually acts of justice." after I finished talking, they both had thoughtful looks on their faces.
"Well, now that you mention it, the Wyverns were pretty terrible. And I have looked into the old police records, those ponies were pretty bad. But did you have to kill them?" Shining asked me, I simply nodded.
"Yes, unfortunately in order to allow peace to prosper, you must take a few lives. Which is why I consider myself neither hero nor villain, but an anti-hero."
"What is a 'anti-hero?'" Cadence asked me.
"We are basically hero's that are often a little villainous, lacking a few hero traits. Beings that are both hero and villain." I simply explained, they just nodded in understanding, we heard Flurry give a cry distress, looking to her, I saw that she was reaching for me. I chuckled, of course, babies and toddlers are always attracted to bright shiny and/or colorful objects. I walked over, and picked her up carefully. She started feeling my face,
"Seems like she likes you." Cadence said, giggling a little as the little one stared at reflection of herself on my face.
"It is natural for ones so young to be so easily enchanted by bright, shiny and/or colorful objects. Observe." the color of my mouth went from red to disco. Flurry watched as a flurry of colors covered the room, she eventually tried catching them laughing as she chased each color. "This would have been easier to keep her occupied if you were too busy."
"Yeah, would have definitely keep her distracted for us to do paperwork." Cadence agreed, watching her daughter chse the lights around. "So Ultron, any reason why you are here?"
"Yes, I have come here for one reason." that's when I played dramatic music and changed my light back to red, getting up on the table while a spotlight shined on me, I continued speaking while posing dramaticaly, "Years of countless battles, years of death, all for fate to bring me here for one thing and one thing only. A mission for me to complete. A foe that fate decrees worthy to battle!" the ponies leaned in close to hear what I have to say. "Retirement!" cue record scratch, the ponies looked at me shocked.
"What?" they all said at once.
"You heard me! Retirement!" I said, putting my hands on my hips as the spotlight and music cut off.
"Wha-but, you....THAT'S IT!!!" Cadence screamed. "No villain to defeat?! No pony to save?! No nothing?!?!"
"Nope, maybe, and yes! I am simply going to build inventions. No longer will I battle with a villain. No longer will I have to end an entire race. Aaaaannnd..." I began to hover a little into the air, arms spread out and head looking up while shouting to the top of my nonexistent lungs> "NO LONGER WILL I LOSE MY HEARING TO CELESTIAS VOICE!! HAHAHAHAHA!!" that's is when the doors opened.
"Cadence, we need to speak-" we all looked to see Celestia, Luna and the Main 6 with the Elements of Harmony. We just stared at each other for what seemed like hours but was only two seconds before the silence was broken by me.
